We are here with just a few headlines that are very meaningful. Very, very uplifting this holiday season. We're here to talk about it. It's all about love on today's show. Yes, it is. It's about engagements. So we had two over the Thanksgiving break, two announcements actually, not two engagements. The announcements were Michelle Young and Cassie Randolph are both engaged. They're longtime boyfriends. Let's talk about Michelle first because Michelle really secret. She actually got engaged on October 24th and just revealed it today, December 3rd. They guess they took a little time to just enjoy this. celebration personally, privately. So she's actually had the craziest proposal because he, her boyfriend, Jack Luis, who we've seen her on social media with for over the past year you're doing so much content with. He pulled off a surprise lakeside proposal in Minnesota.

She was actually thinking that she was taking part in a commercial shoot. She may have been disappointed that she actually wasn't doing a commercial shoot with one of her favorite brands for the second time because it turned out this is all a clever rouge with the help of her management company to have a proposal. So what happened was they set up this whole fake photo shoot, even arranging a fake contract and to be given a fake script with lines for her to memorize for this commercial. And she had her hair and makeup done because of course she was going to a set. And there was a photographer and a videographer there all made sense for a photo shoot. But actually, instead of the camera crew, like the real commercial crew, there was her boyfriend, Jack.

And she said that she completely froze and she said Jack standing in the middle of this beautiful flower arch with white roses. And she was fooled so badly that for a moment, she thought it was a joke and that Jack was one of the male models that she'd be working with for the shoot. but yeah so she said she she's usually pretty good at predicting surprises but never saw this one coming she said she's always had a strong intuition but never even the slightest sense what was going to happen that day the next big headline is another bachelor nation star got engaged to their long time boyfriend so you and i had a little get together with cassie oh my gosh was that almost two that was almost two years ago, Ben, well, we did a live podcast at Audrey's.

So we knew that she was taking, of course, things with her boyfriend very seriously. He's a musician. His name is Brighton, Reinhardt. And even though they've been together for four years, she also said that she was totally caught off guard. The whole thing went down when she was thinking that she was going for a pre-dinner stroll

with her family along the Newport Beach Coast, which is a worker home, basically. And she said she had no, idea that her soon-to-be fiancé would be waiting for her at the last cottage, which is right by the cliffs with a gorgeous engagement ring. She goes, when Brighton dropped to a knee and asked, will you marry me? As he opened the box, my reaction was, of course, oh, my gosh, yes. But she said, no idea. And the photographers were there, too, to take gorgeous pictures of her and her beautiful fiancee in ring and her whole family came out they were hiding a few yards away when they were

watching the proposal and they had a big dinner all set up nearby i've been thinking about cassie a lot recently oh really why because her sister's in landman oh yeah she's like the star in landman so every time i see her she looks just like cassie and i'm like i don't know it's exciting oh her this is so pretty they're both like insanely stunning so yeah about that spinoff show So it was a spin-off show, 19-whatever, what was it, 18-something? Mm-hmm. What was it? I don't know.

It's been enough of something. And then she's in the new spinoff? Is she the lead in the new spin-off? She's one of the top main characters, yeah. That's so cool. And she's so good in it. Like, wow, what a franchise to get into. She's so good in it.

Like, she crushes it. Really? It's like her first acting role. Yeah, I'd recommend watching it. 1883 and 1923, where the spiners. And then Landman, obviously there's a lioness and all those others. But Landman's good. It's really good so far.

And she's great. So yeah, been thinking about Cassie, happy for. Very happy. Everything happening in that family. I can't imagine the celebrations that they're having over and over and over again. That's a really exciting time. I know. Seriously.

And we should note that they actually met eight years ago. So she knew him before going on The Bachelor. And then they like just had a little bit of a friendship going on. And she said that because they had that friendship, it made them really strong. And they were really young when they first met, just hung out with each other's siblings and families and stuff. And then later on, about five years ago, now they reconnected. And it was kind of just like a, yeah, we feel each other immediately. Let's get married. Yeah. Let's get married.

Well, those are the big headlines for you today. This is a very exciting time and Bachelor Nation. A couple engagements. Love is in the air.
