You know, we're on this podcast to talk about all the things happening within Bachelor Nation, but also surrounding Bachelor Nation. For the last year, we've talked about Taylor Frankie Paul and her season that never aired of The Bachelorette. But breaking news has just been heard. I'm in studio. Ashley is in the car on her way to talk more about this. But we couldn't wait.

And so we just gave Ashley a call. Hello, Ashley. Hi, Ben. So nothing is confirmed, but this is TMZ. And TMZ has been really good with this story. And TMZ is really good at Hollywood breaking news. So we get a couple of tidbits in here. They say that when ABC pulled the quote plug from it in May.

in March. We all kind of assumed, like, is this like a, we'll stop and think about it, or is this, like, really, it's never going to see the light of day? Well, TMZ is reporting that they still have the editors continue to finish working on the episodes because oftentimes not all the episodes are completed by the time it airs. I mean, there is sometimes 10 to 12 episodes and they continued to finish it out, which is a sign that, they were keeping the door open. And the reason we really got on here is that the rumor mill, TMZ's reporting it's a source inside production, is saying that they're going to go with airing the season mid-July with, and shocking to me on ABC, not on Hulu. The reason this holds some weight to me is I believe that Warner Brothers owns TMZ. Oh, that's a good point.

Yeah, Warner Brothers is also involved in the Bachelor franchise. I have a feeling Warner Brothers knows if this season's going to air or not. But let's be honest, Ashley, we just had the Game of Roses on last week, and we were kind of talking about if this was going to air or not. And I said, there's no doubt it airs. Everything has pointed to it airing, right? They're still bringing the cast out for baseball games. They're still pumping this cast out on their social media.

They have never clearly said, hey, this isn't going to air. So we just got word. Sorry, I was wrong. It used to be owned by Warner, but TMZ did sell the Fox. I still think it's, I still think it's involved and would know in some way. So it doesn't take a way that I've hold them as a legitimate source. I'm not shocked, Ashley. I think we've just kind of followed the,

The trail, and the trail has spoken to this happening, and now we're just getting the rumors still that it is going to happen. But if it happens, I'm going to say, yeah, of course. They've done everything leading up to this to promote the season. Yeah, absolutely. Taylor and Dakota have another court date set for July 8th. She does have unsupervised visitation, or I guess, like, custody with her child now. I thought it was supervised.

No, not anymore. The last one it changed over. But it's still not a lot of time. So I'm thinking if they go back to more of an equal shared custody situation, July 8th, it's going to be that week we'll get the announcement that it's going to start airing in July. And I'd say, yeah, TMZ is reporting mid-July. There's a lot happening here. And obviously there was so much put behind this season for everybody involved.

And so this season was kind of, I felt like initially, like holding on by a thread and then we started to feel like hey this is going to come back we don't know how actually you know we talked it was even to be streaming but i think one of the the key elements here is this rumor from TMZ what they're reporting on is it's going to actually air on ABC it's going to take a time slot on ABC that out of all of this is something that is surprising to me that they would air on ABC well they know that there's There's no way that anything that they're going to air instead of Taylor Frankie Paul season is going to do better than Taylor Frankie Paul season. So it makes sense, not only from a business side, but it also makes sense, as we said, on what we were kind of following and hearing along.

This isn't a shock to anybody here at the Almost Famous Podcast. It's not. We were intrigued to see how it would happen and how the announcement would happen. We still don't have an official announcement. I want to be clear on that. This is a report made by TMC. We don't have an official announcement yet, but if you listen to this podcast, I would start updating your Google message or your Google alerts because we will have an announcement, it sounds like, very soon. In closing year, Taylor and Dakota both have restraining orders against one another and have been ordered by a Utah judge to try and hash out their custody dispute again on July 8th is their next court hearing where we will learn more and will be here breaking.
