This is an I-Heart podcast.
My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious.
Wait a minute, Sam.
Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.
Well, Dakota, luckily, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon.
This person writes, my boyfriend's been hanging out with his young professor a lot.
He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her.
Now he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone.
Now, hold up.
Isn't that against school policy?
That seems inappropriate.
Maybe find out how it ends by listening to the OK Storytime podcast and the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Let's start with a quick puzzle.
The answer is Ken Jennings' appearance on The Puzzler with A.J. Jacobs.
The question is, what is the most entertaining listening experience in podcast land?
Jeopardy Truthers believe in...
I guess they would be Kenspiracy theorists.
That's right.
To give you the answers, and you still blitzers.

you get your podcast no such thing this is the ben and ashley i almost famous podcast with iheart
radio welcome to almost famous podcast we have some news to discuss i'm not going to call it breaking
news no it's just news and it's updates maybe maybe this is the best way to say it we have some
updates to give you in relation to the Matt James, Rachel's breakup. Obviously, we talked about
Rachel going on call her daddy. A lot of information was shared on that show about their
breakup. If you want to go back and listen to that, if you're kind of just catching up on this
story, the reason it's a story in general, because Ashley and myself, we don't love talking about
breakups on this show. The reason this is a story, though, is because of how it was done.
Matt James did it.
Supposedly, it was just like a few hours after the breakup.
Rachel was on a flight.
And so, you know, Bachelor Nation kind of reacted and said, like, what's happening here?
We want more answers.
Well, we have some answers today.
Matt James showed back up on social media.
Ashley, what do you know about it?
Yeah, so he took a two, three week break ever since the announcement of their breakup,
which was, wait, this is weird.
I'm looking at his Instagram right now.
He deleted the breakup announcement.
Whoa.
That is breaking news.
Now we do have news.
Yeah, wait.
What?
It's not there.
That post isn't here right now.
Wow.
But she is still there.
He hasn't deleted any other videos or posts with Rachel.
But it's so weird that the breakup post is gone.
I'm sorry if this is old news to you guys,
but I haven't seen any headlines about him deleting the breakup.
I haven't seen that yet.
All I've seen is that his first.
video posted since the breakup announcement at least is that he is doing it looks like running
training uh in Kenya just has morning morning run with friends in Kenya and then he posted to
a story another something similar about his trip in Kenya the question is is this weird uh I don't
think so I don't think it's weird necessarily because what do we expect of him to to come back and
and try to speak further into what Rachel's already spoken into.
And I don't know if there's space.
If he, honestly, and these are assumptions,
if he felt like something she said during that interview with Call Her Daddy
was worth confronting, correcting, correcting, protecting, or whatever,
he would have done it.
But I'm assuming, based on this maneuver,
he's saying, no, what she said is true.
I'm regretful for how I posted about this breakup.
We are broken up.
this she did say a lot of things about our relationship mostly it was protective of me and now
i'm going to move forward with a whole separate chapter of life so i don't think it's weird more
than it's just disregarding what most people are interested in like well you know it's out there
that he broke up with her and i think it's just yeah well guys you know the story so we're moving on
I think you're right, just like this is a new chapter.
And it's kind of, I think it might be just kind of nice
that this symbolizes that it's not going to be some back and forth breakup.
I agree.
I think it's nice that that's going to be the case.
I think from the interview that Rachel did,
we have perspective on how it happened.
I don't know if there's anything else to be said.
Also, I do think the key here would be if he felt like there was something to confront,
he would have confronted it, but I don't think he thinks there's anything to confront at this
point. I think it's just a move on chapter for him. And that's fair. He has every right to do it.
I'm also still, I think Rachel had every right to go on that show because she gave a lot of
clarity to the questions that everybody was asking and probably making worse assumptions about
their breakup without her doing that interview. Like, did he cheat on her? Yeah. Did he step out? Those
kind of thing. She answered those. But Matt James is back. He's running in Kenya. He is at a training
facility. And that's the best we got right now. That's the biggest update. And it's probably
going to be the only update that we now have moving forward. I'm assuming both of them are going
to be transitioning to whatever this next chapter looks like. They still follow each other on
Instagram. And that's not surprising to me, as she said on her on the podcast that they've been
talking ever since so i don't think that there's like a lot of hostility between the two of them
just sadness so we'll see where this goes and i'm more thoughtful now about why he deleted
the post that was just so infamous like everybody knows what the post said what it looked like
and it can be found on the internet so very easily why did you delete it from your feed i think
matt has probably i think having it up there probably is just a reminder of him
mistake he made, I would assume. And getting it down just feels like a mistake he made in posting
before she knew he was going to post, etc. Which he's owned up to, she said. Well, that's the big
update on the Matt James Rachel situation. I assume, unless new major updates come about,
this is probably going to be the end of the almost famous podcast talking about this. But if there
are bigger new updates that present themselves, you know we will be talking about it right here.
So until next time, I've been Ben.
I've been Ashley. See you guys.
