Starting point is 00:00:39 walks into a comedy club answer a new podcast called Wisecrack where a comedian finds himself at the center of a chilling true crime story does anyone know what show they've come to see it's a story it's about the scariest night of my life
Starting point is 00:00:54 this is Wisecrack available now listen to Wisecrack on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. How serious is youth vaping? Irreversible lung damage serious. One in ten kids vape serious, which warrants a serious conversation from a serious parental figure, like yourself. Not the seriously know-at-all sports dad or the seriously smart podcaster.
Starting point is 00:01:20 It requires a serious conversation that is best had by you. No, seriously, the best person to talk to your child about vaping is you. To start the conversation, visit talk about vaping.org. Brought to you by the American Lung Association and the Ad Council. The U.S. Open is here and on my podcast, Good Game with Sarah Spain. I'm breaking down the players, the predictions, the pressure, and of course the honey deuses, the signature cocktail of the U.S. Open. The U.S. Open has gotten to be a very wonderfully experiential sporting event.
Starting point is 00:01:51 To hear this and more, listen to Good Game with Sarah Spain, an IHeart women's sports production in partnership with Deep Blue Sports and Entertainment on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Brought to you by Novartis, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports Network. This is the Ben and Ashley I, almost famous podcast with IHartRadio.
Starting point is 00:02:11 Hey guys, what's up? It's Ashley and Ben and Zachary Reality because we said that we were going to have them back whenever we had breaking news, and we have breaking breakup news. And Ashley, the response, was incredible. Oh, yes.
Starting point is 00:02:29 We got to have Zachary back because even Hana, as we were starting this thing out, was like, people loved it, we love it. It's so much easier, better,
Starting point is 00:02:37 just like cooler to talk about this was Zachary. So there's another good reason, right? It makes sense, and the response was good. Yeah, and Zach,
Starting point is 00:02:45 it was like minutes after we wrapped with you that both other Bachelor and Paradise couples got on Instagram to announce their breakups. Kat and John Henry call off their engagement,
Starting point is 00:02:57 and then so do Aaron and Eliza. So can you go through and tell us what you know? That was kind of crazy because it all happened in one day. And I don't think there's ever been a big domino effect this fast. Like, usually I feel like couples will stay together or maybe pretend to stay together for at least a few months. So to have them all announced breakups within four days of a finale is pretty crazy. So we talked about Avin and Kylie last time. But quickly after we hung up,
Starting point is 00:03:27 John Henry and Kat posted a mutual breakup statement. So they did it together, said that they were going in their own ways because of career. And then hours later, Aaron posted an Instagram story saying with much love and respect, we mutually decided to break up. And Eliza has not posted anything other than her being in Greece. So she's going rogue.
Starting point is 00:03:48 So that's the latest. Okay. The cat and John Henry thing, interesting about career, because she's a nurse. He says in a caption, which he followed up with yesterday. He followed up by saying that like...
Starting point is 00:04:05 She's a nurse practitioner. She's a nurse practitioner and that like he doesn't want any like hate thrown anyway, you know, he appreciates the kindness and all that. But if she's going to continue her career as a nurse practitioner, like, can't she do it anyway? Well, that's why people were immediately like, This does not make sense.
Starting point is 00:04:26 Also, isn't he a welder? She's from Florida. Sounds like she's moving to San Diego to be part of that Bachelor of San Diego crew to be closer to L.A. What do you think? I'm not like, I think they're just like probably weren't compatible enough and they want a little bit of an out and that's fine. He's obviously going to stay in Virginia where he is going to continue doing his underwater my welding. Welding. Ben, do you know what that is a welding? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:53 A welder. Can you explain it to the gays and the girls who might not understand? The gays and the girls. Isn't this what they call mansplaining? Like, aren't I? Like, sometimes we need it. Okay. I got in trouble for that before. So I just want to. We're on your side this time. Thank you. Yeah. I mean, his job is crazy. Right. When I heard this, I wanted him to talk more and more about what he did for a profession because I grew up in a welding family. My grandfather was a welder in the Navy. And so he was, always welding you put on the you know the big mass people know what that is um and also i'm from northern indiana and we have a massive like you know welding industry when it comes to RVs and trailers that we are manufacturing in northern Indiana and so i'm very familiar in short in the simplest terms when you see metal being put together and you see kind of like a cock line
Starting point is 00:05:48 like you would see like where you like in a windowsill or you know in a house they're actually taking and they're using a super hot flame to melt these metals together. And it's a, it's an art form. I mean, it's very dangerous because you're dealing with a lot of gases, a lot of hot flames. And then also, you're usually doing it in a confined environment. And so there's a lot of like dirt and smoke and everything that comes off of it. It's just very impressive. And the fact that he does it underwater is even crazier to me.
Starting point is 00:06:18 That's so crazy because he's basically building bridges and tunnels. And that scares the shit out of me. what that John Henry's the one doing it or is just the job in general like all that stuff I'm like how do they make those structures and there's a picture of the two of them out like right next to what I think is the Chesapeake Bay tunnel bridge and that thing that structure is like the scariest thing you'll ever see in your life Google it it's like a 22 mile bridge and tunnel it's a bridge that turns into a tunnel midway through and then goes back into a bridge it's freaky yeah so I mean that's it's it's it's it's freaky yeah so I mean that's it's it's it so long story short it's a it's a very impressive profession one that um we should all be like kind of an awe of and he took it like one step further by doing it underwater see i'm see i'm glad i asked you and there's like a passion for everybody like i would never think to do a job like that but everyone can just do whatever they want like that is just insane to me um but yeah like we were saying she is a nurse practitioner so i don't know how their career goals necessarily like
Starting point is 00:07:20 got in the way if maybe neither of them wanted to move She did actually comment on my, you know, it sounds like. Yeah, she did actually comment on my TikTok this morning. And she said, PSA, we were still together when they told us we were not having a reunion. So they broke up pretty recently. Yeah. Interesting. Because here's one of the things from an inside source.
Starting point is 00:07:45 I won't mention names here. You know, there was now people are upset on the kind of the production and work side that there was. a reunion because they're saying, wait, this would help everything make more sense. If all these couples were going to break up, you know, a reunion would help explain it all or the show could explain it, but they're, they canceled a reunion or they maybe never planned one and they later told the cast that there wasn't. Zachary, I think that's an important point. Do you know any details about kind of how they or when they decided out to have a reunion? No, I don't know anything about that. I know that the fans are pissed off that there's no
Starting point is 00:08:20 reunion. I know that the reunion played out on social media for all of us to watch. So that's what we're here to talk about. So I guess that they didn't want one. We can speculate why maybe because there was a Golden Bachelor reunion. They don't want to do too so close to back. Maybe there was no happy couples. Maybe there wasn't enough contestants with a following or clout. I don't know what the decision why it was made. But I think a lot of the fans would have liked one. And we don't care that there's no happy couples. We just want to see all the stories be told and get closure on the season. Yeah on one end it's like a great season to have one so you can get the explanation but at the same time maybe they were concerned that it would look bad that they go from
Starting point is 00:09:02 engagements to a union where no one's together. It would have been juicy though it would have been juicy and that's and that's part of like yeah that's that's part of it's a huge part of it. Drew Phillips. And we run a podcast called Emergency Intercom. If you're a crime junkie and you love crimes, we're not the podcast for you. But if you have unmedicated ADHD... Oh my God, perfect. And want to hear people with mental illness, psychobabble.
Starting point is 00:09:39 Yes, yes. Then Emergency Intercom is the podcast for you. Open your free IHeartRadio app. Search Emergency Intercom and listen now. A foot washed up. a shoe with some bones in it. They had no idea who it was. Most everything was burned up pretty good from the fire that not a whole lot was salvageable.
Starting point is 00:09:58 These are the coldest of cold cases, but everything is about to change. Every case that is a cold case that has DNA. Right now in a backlog will be identified in our lifetime. A small lab in Texas is cracking the code on DNA. Using new scientific tools, they're finding clues in evidence so tiny. you might just miss it. He never thought he was going to get caught. And I just looked at my computer screen.
Starting point is 00:10:25 I was just like, gotcha. On America's Crime Lab, we'll learn about victims and survivors. And you'll meet the team behind the scenes at Othrum, the Houston Lab that takes on the most hopeless cases to finally solve the unsolvable. Listen to America's Crime Lab on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hello, it's Honey German.
Starting point is 00:10:49 And my podcast, Grazacus come again, is back. This season, we're going even deeper into the world of music and entertainment with raw and honest conversations with some of your favorite Latin artists and celebrities. You didn't have to audition? No, I didn't audition.
Starting point is 00:11:02 I haven't audition in, like, over 25 years. Oh, wow. That's a real G-talk right there. Oh, yeah. We've got some of the biggest actors, musicians, content creators, and culture shifters sharing their real stories of failure and success. You were destined to be a start.
Starting point is 00:11:20 We talk all about what's viral and trending with a little bit of chisement, a lot of laughs, and those amazing Vibras you've come to expect. And of course, we'll explore deeper topics dealing with identity, struggles, and all the issues affecting our Latin community. You feel like you get a little whitewash because you have to do the code switching?
Starting point is 00:11:39 I won't say whitewash because at the end of the day, you know, I'm me. But the whole pretending and code, you know, it takes a toll on you. Listen to the new season of Grasasas Come Again as part of My Cultura Podcast Network on the IHartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. What would you do if one bad decision forced you to choose between a maximum security prison or the most brutal boot camp designed to be hell on earth? Unfortunately for Mark Lombardo, this was the choice he faced. He said, you are a number, a New York state number, and we own you.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Shock incarceration. also known as boot camps are short-term, highly regimented correctional programs that mimic military basic training. These programs aim to provide a shock of prison life, emphasizing strict discipline, physical training, hard labor, and rehabilitation programs. Mark had one chance to complete this program and had no idea of the hell awaiting him the next six months. The first night was so overwhelming, and you don't know who's next to you. and we didn't know what to expect in the morning. Nobody tells you anything. Listen to shock incarceration on the IHeartRadio app,
Starting point is 00:12:50 Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Can you, I mean, not to like capitalize on people's sadness. You know, sadness. But can you imagine Avin and Kylie sitting on a stage together at a reunion? That would be so, see, yeah. Like, if I'm going to take out the morality of. this, that's great TV. I would be watching.
Starting point is 00:13:17 But maybe he would have got away with it. We wouldn't have known. We wouldn't have known. It would have filmed two weeks in advance. Yes. And then she only found out because she posted online. And that's how. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:13:27 That's how the infidelities, you know, came to her. Most likely. You're right. Okay. Another scandal or so says, you know, the hardcore fans on social media is that at the end of the episode during all like, the where are they now recaps. They left out Becca and Thomas.
Starting point is 00:13:50 Yeah. Ben, did you realize this? No, I didn't realize it until now because I never remember who met on the show. They go through every married couple from Bachelor in Paradise
Starting point is 00:14:01 and what has happened to them recently. There's so many babies and so many marriages of the past year or two. And then they didn't mention Becca and Thomas getting married and having a baby. Here's my theory. Okay. I don't have one.
Starting point is 00:14:20 So I want to hear your... They reached out, sorry if I'm like seeming winded. I have a cold. I cannot breathe. And she's very excited to talk about this. Yeah, okay. So they reached out to us last first week of November
Starting point is 00:14:35 to get the picture. They've wanted many pictures of Jared Dawson and I together. for the end recap. And I'm assuming that they needed to have your approval on just being part of the end recap and that they needed a picture that you submitted on your own behalf. So either they didn't reach out to Becca and Thomas or my theory is that they did
Starting point is 00:15:05 and they did not want to share because they feel like they have been wronged by the show as of late. when she got dumped from the podcast. Interesting. Because I know that they are not happy about that. They have been public about that. Yeah, there's no way.
Starting point is 00:15:24 They just didn't ask. No. And it's also important to note that they weren't just picking couples who got engaged on TV because they even picked Noah and Abigail who broke up on the show but then got back together after. So it wasn't like a logistical thing.
Starting point is 00:15:38 Same. Like Jared and I were there. Yeah, but you guys got engaged on the show. they didn't give the show their engagement or anything like that. Yeah. That's very interesting because Becca and Thomas have I've really had like outside of the breakup from the podcast a really beautiful year. One that's been really exciting to follow and it's been really fun to see their relationship. You know, obviously we've talked about it,
Starting point is 00:16:03 but I did Bachelor Live on stage with Becca. I think she's terrific. And to see this kind of like new season of her life come in, display in front of us has been really fun for me. Yeah. So it makes it really sad that they weren't part of that. She's not your ex, right? You guys didn't overlap.
Starting point is 00:16:22 No. No, we never dated. We just co-hosted together. She's with Garrett during the tour and I was with Jess. So we were kind of both, and I guess at the time what we thought were our long-term relationships, only one of those survived. And the other one ended up really good for Becca. She's doing great.
Starting point is 00:16:41 But the, here's the interesting part, Ashley, and the only way I'd crush your theory is I think that because they're upset and because it's aired, I just know Becca well enough to think that she would have said something publicly. Like if there was any hurt feelings, like, where they, you know, I think Becca would have said something because I just don't, I think she's kind of like lighting it all on fire. You would have, she would have said something because she was hurt
Starting point is 00:17:07 by being excluded from it. Yeah. But the whole thing is, I think that she excluded. herself. Oh, you think she chose to excuse me. Oh, yeah. Sorry. Sorry. I don't think. Sorry, I should have clarified that. I don't think that the show is annoyed at her and didn't ask her.
Starting point is 00:17:21 I think they asked and then Becca said, no, thank you. Don't want to be part of your thing anymore. Interesting. That would make sense. And then also you have the Rachel thing. No, Becca and Thomas, they don't, like, they're not posting their baby online. They're not showing his face. So I think that's
Starting point is 00:17:37 one thing, but I thought they could still give a picture without the baby's face um okay so then at the end thing they also said right we rachel didn't want to be any part of this recap rachel didn't have didn't want to have any part to do with this recap i thought that was funny i was like oh ha ha ha okay i thought they kind of like just made that up kind of the way that they make up the the job titles you know and all those like little things in the crayon or whatever it's called. But then there was like some people that thought like she actually was annoyed by the show and did not want to like give an update on her life. What do you think?
Starting point is 00:18:18 No, I think she was just trying to be funny. Like you said. Okay, I think so too. Yeah. It's like, it's like the same Rachel who just like, like, it's just her sense of humor, I think. I think she like makes fun of herself a lot. Yeah. And I was listening to your podcast when you had her on. And like she said like she did Bachelor, a Bachelor at Bachelor and Paradise. So like she gave it all three tries and like that's it there's no more updates to have yeah no i okay i thought so too but it's also proof that like they asked everyone what was going on yeah so them to leave out becca and thomas i just think is massive and unfortunate yeah it is i mean she's she was such a great she still is a great piece of this franchise and one that the franchise would probably enjoy leaning on in terms
Starting point is 00:18:59 of success stories because it was such just this success story for so many reasons it was really the first you know, trailblazing relationship where we've seen a villain end up with somebody in a happy relationship, let alone a lead in a happy relationship. And so, okay, going back to these breakups real quick, Zachary, I want to ask you, breakups happen. They just do from the show, right? We're used to that. The weird part for me this season in the last week has been the, like, announcement of we're so happy and this is our new relationship and then the breakup like the next day and then zachary if you could respond to that but then ashley i want to hear your opinion like what's happening in those like 24 hours between exciting announcement posts to breakup they didn't
Starting point is 00:19:51 that was the whole thing on friday when you weren't here like none of them made happy posts well cat made a story she made a story she made a story she made a story that was a happy story and kiley and even had said that they were happy It said just a few of my favorite memories. That's what the story said. And then Kylie and Avan did the photo shoot. See, memories. See, when you go back and you can like totally rewrite this.
Starting point is 00:20:16 You hear the words, the way that they were supposed to be said. The memories. Not like my current life. I don't know. That's key wording. Key wording. I don't know. I just feel like it's still, um, there's, let alone.
Starting point is 00:20:33 Okay, back to it. Zachary, a happy post and then a breakup? Like, what is happening? I think it's a celebration of making it through the season as a team. You know, like you did it together, whether it ended positively or not. It's like a race to the end if you can get through the bachelor process. So there could be that. It could be for the extra clout or attention.
Starting point is 00:20:54 It could just be a way to acknowledge how you feel about the person. But a lot of things happen really fast. I really was not expecting all three of these couples to break up within a matter of days. But here we are. This season will be remembered forever because of that. Yeah. My next question for you and really the final one as a fan, and I would consider myself in that category, does it change anything for you that no couples came from this season? Does it change your excitement towards possibly a next season or your outlook on this season? Do you think from a viewership perspective, is this a disappointment?
Starting point is 00:21:38 No. I don't care. I wasn't rooting for any of these couples, like, strongly. Had it been a couple years ago, and, like, it was Joe and Serena or, like, Ashley and Jared, maybe I would have been a lot more heartbroken, but I just felt like with these couples, I wasn't invested in the love story. So I'm just here for the resolution immediately after the show. We don't have to wait.
Starting point is 00:21:59 There's no faking it for a few months, for six months. So I think that it still makes the season more exciting in a way How everything kind of ended And I watched the show for drama and for love So it's always going to be a gamble Okay I agree with him You do?
Starting point is 00:22:16 Yeah I'm not like you know we watch the season I'm not sitting here being like Goodness gracious this season was a waste I feel validated I feel validated because I felt nothing from them And it proves that nothing was there Yeah there's no heartbreak that we're not crying
Starting point is 00:22:31 Hi, my name is Enya Yumanzoor. And I'm Drew Phillips. And we run a podcast called Emergency Intercom. If you're a crime junkie and you love crimes, we're not the podcast for you. But if you have unmedicated ADHD... Oh my God, perfect. And want to hear people with mental illness, psychobabble. Yes, yes.
Starting point is 00:22:59 Then Emergency Intercoms the podcast. for you. Open your free iHeartRadio app, search emergency intercom, and listen now. A foot washed up a shoe with some bones in it. They had no idea who it was. Most everything was burned up pretty good from the fire that
Starting point is 00:23:15 not a whole lot was salvageable. These are the coldest of cold cases, but everything is about to change. Every case that is a cold case that has DNA. Right now in a backlog will be identified in our lifetime. A small lab in Texas is
Starting point is 00:23:31 cracking the code on DNA. Using new scientific tools, they're finding clues in evidence so tiny you might just miss it. He never thought he was going to get caught, and I just looked at my computer screen, I was just like, ah, gotcha. On America's Crime Lab, we'll learn about victims and survivors,
Starting point is 00:23:50 and you'll meet the team behind the scenes at Othrum, the Houston Lab that takes on the most hopeless cases, to finally solve the unsolvable. Listen to America's Crime, crime lab on the iHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. The Super Secret Bestie Club podcast season four is here. And we're locked in. That means more juicy chisement.
Starting point is 00:24:14 Terrible love advice. Evil spells to cast on your ex. No, no, no, no, we're not doing that this season. Oh. Well, this season, we're leveling up. Each episode will feature a special bestie, and you're not going to want to miss it. Get in here. Today we have a very special guest with us.
Starting point is 00:24:30 Our new super secret bestie is the diva of the people. The diva of the people. I'm just like text your ex. My theory is that if you need to figure out that the stove is hot, go and touch it. Go and figure it out for yourself. Okay. That's us. That's us.
Starting point is 00:24:48 My name is Curley. And I'm Maya. In each episode, we'll talk about love, friendship, heartbreak, men, and of course, our favorite secrets. Listen to the Super Secret Bestie Club as a part of the Michael through a podcast network available on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. What would you do if one bad decision forced you to choose between a maximum security prison or the most brutal boot camp designed to be hell on earth?
Starting point is 00:25:16 Unfortunately for Mark Lombardo, this was the choice he faced. He said, you are a number, a New York State number, and we own you. Shock incarceration, also known as boot camps, are short-term, highly-reli-reli-reli-reli-reli-reli-reli-reli-report. regimented correctional programs that mimic military basic training. These programs aim to provide a shock of prison life, emphasizing strict discipline, physical training, hard labor, and rehabilitation programs. Mark had one chance to complete this program and had no idea of the hell awaiting him the next six months. The first night was so overwhelming and you don't know who's next to you.
Starting point is 00:25:56 And we didn't know what to expect in the morning. Nobody tells you anything. Listen to shock incarceration on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. We just talked to Tanner, Zachary, and Tanner was telling us that, you know, even for himself on the beach, he was like, I don't see these couples working. Like, they're not having the connection like I would, that he said he would imagine a couple who would last forever having. Like he was confused that some of them even walking off the beach together
Starting point is 00:26:31 and so I think yeah for us it is kind of the closure to the story is just saying we didn't feel it and maybe we were just missing it as viewers but now we're like no we caught on
Starting point is 00:26:41 we were right like this these couples were not that strong yeah and there's probably a lot of reasons that go into it I think Bachelor in Paradise maybe could have took a year off like I miss it when it was like
Starting point is 00:26:51 the all star cast when it was like a lot of people who made it far now they're just throwing in people who left night one left tonight too which is not like a problem it doesn't make them less than it just makes them not as prepared for the experience at the end and like know how to put your all into it so maybe they could they could have took a year off and i i think bachelor in paradise still can't continue
Starting point is 00:27:11 but i think that they could do a little bit they could be a little bit pickier with casting and maybe have some challenges thrown in yeah i completely agree the cast like i know it sounds sort of bad to be like oh i don't really care about that person that was eliminated we for but Paradise used to be like where the fan favorites went where you knew pretty much everybody's name who showed up and then they threw in a couple randoms that you learn to love but like you wanted the people that you like loved and rooted for on the main show to get together with somebody else who you loved and ridded for on the main show and now there's none of that there's none of it and I also think the element and maybe Ashley I think and what
Starting point is 00:27:57 you're saying too is you're just not invested. It's not that you don't care. These are good people. We just don't know anything about it. We're not invested into them. I remember years in the past watching Paradise from, you know, these. And I would be like, okay, let's use Ashley as an example. Ashley's coming to the beach this year. I know the personalities of so many of these people. This is so I could see Ashley with. We didn't have that this year. We didn't know these personalities because we, the only one that we really tried to matchmake Ashley was really. Rachel. Like the only one that we could be like, she might be into this guy because we know what she was into from her season. We just don't know the personalities any during this season. I have one last statement that I would love your response to. An article or a comment that I received. And I've been thinking about it. I got it yesterday. And it said that they were upset with this season because they think this Bachelor in Paradise season did Rachel, Reckia, very dirty. I'm not sure why. because it made me love her even more.
Starting point is 00:28:59 Well, sure, as her as a person, however, they felt bad because you have a season where you have a lead come to the beach and then you have all of these other leads come down to the beach. Every, like, there's so many bachelorets that showed up this year. More in like a hierarchical role, right? We're going to host a date. We're going to host a conversation where the show knew Rachel was going to be there and it's a big deal for her to go. Yet, and I think this makes her lovable because it kind of makes her loveable because it kind of
Starting point is 00:29:27 makes people feel bad for her. But it was like they put her beneath other bachelorettes. I think this season was what the comment was saying. Yeah, I'll throw that out there. I don't disagree with him now that I think about it. Like, it did feel like Rachel was on a different, you know, platform than the women shown up. Yeah, but, you know, she came down as a contestant.
Starting point is 00:29:49 The other women were in relationships. Hannah Brown, Charity. You know, Katie was going on another show. Maybe she didn't know that at the time. but like she just kind of came into host something. I think I think Rachel, yeah, she was a bachelorette, but her going in as a contestant, I don't think she deserves any more treatment
Starting point is 00:30:04 than any other contestant there. If anything, I feel like she got plenty of opportunities to go on multiple dates. She did it like three or four guys. So I think her guy just wasn't there, but I did like watching her this season and I found her a lot more endearing and chill than maybe in the past.
Starting point is 00:30:21 Fair. Ashley, you agree? Yeah, I agree with him that like she had to kind of just her past as Bachelorette does not go forward when she's a cast. Okay. Yeah. Okay, wait. Before we go, before we let we go, I do want to get back
Starting point is 00:30:38 to Aaron and Eliza for just a split second. Yeah. Do you have any idea what their timeline could have been? Because I feel like you know, they, we had the update on at the end of the show that says they're going through some rough waters. We'll see.
Starting point is 00:30:56 with this ends up. To me that was kind of like they're already broken up and that was weeks ago that they put that together probably what do you think? Any insight? Well I definitely know that they broke up like a month ago at least
Starting point is 00:31:12 that's kind of when I got the vibes from whatever I've heard but I kind of think that maybe she went maybe she broke up with him pretty quickly after do you remember when she did the whole thing with Rodney and Justin, she couldn't make up her mind
Starting point is 00:31:28 and then she had to have the cameras go to Baltimore because her story wasn't done and then when it was Justin or Rodney who were talking about it on a podcast and they were saying how they were like making plans to see her and she just wouldn't answer and she
Starting point is 00:31:44 was just hard to get a hold of and like she just wasn't present. So the fact that she's like in Greece and she's not giving us any updates right? Like she's the only person out of the six people who ended in happy relationships to at least cue the fans in on what's going on. There's no reunion.
Starting point is 00:32:01 Like, I'm glad that Aaron did it for them because he said it was mutual. So I just think Eliza is just very detached and in her and just uninterested in anything Bachelor Nation. I don't even know why she was there. She's just so confusing. Her entire Instagram is self-y. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:20 Well, it's just a surprising, like, addition to the beach because we knew last year was really hard on her. and that it, you know, the show did have to go literally to her house to close out the story. So it was just interesting to see her, one, agree to go back and, too, for the show to be like, you are somebody we want back here because, yes, she's, you know, obviously a beautiful catch, a great catch. Yeah, but, but just one that maybe doesn't make, doesn't help the show out would be probably the best way to say it when it comes to storyline.
Starting point is 00:32:54 It's kind of funny how much she doesn't care or at least how it comes across because it's like she really gives like no F's like she just seems so out of this world. Like she just seems like she's like a traveler. She's like whimsical. Like I just can't really put my finger on her. But good for her like in a way too for being so uninterested that she doesn't even care to comment, you know? She's like, you guys can figure this out on your own. I'm done. So good.
Starting point is 00:33:22 Well, hey, Zachary, it's always a blast to have. have you here. Thanks for coming on again. This will not now be the last time. I think once you do it twice, we're going to, you know, just keep rolling this over if you ever, if you keep agreeing to it. It's always fun to have you. But that's the updates. We got some breakups and, uh, from Bachelor in Paradise. No relationship still standing. The season is over. This is probably the last time we'll talk about this season, you know, until next season we probably get familiar faces.
Starting point is 00:33:47 But, oh, hey, I do have a question for you. Sorry. Blake and Rachel. Are they together? No, there's just friends. Damn, okay. We might have to talk about the season again if any of these people do podcasts in the next week or two because I don't know if Kylie or Kat are going to have more to say.
Starting point is 00:34:04 Yeah, we all hope to have them on, but we also really need to know whether Blake and Kylie are going to get together. Yeah, that's a Kylie. We need to hear from Kylie. I feel like Blake came off the beach just with a lot of just friendships and maybe some curious, like, romance.
Starting point is 00:34:23 Lake could be a bachelor in the future. If they bring someone back, like they did with Ari or maybe Nick, like they could pull Blake. Oh my goodness. Good for that guy. All right. Hey, until next time, I've been Ben. I've been Ashley.
Starting point is 00:34:36 And I've been Zachary. Yes. Follow the Ben and Ashley I, almost famous podcasts on IHartRadio or subscribe wherever you listen to podcasts. Hi, my name is Enya Humanzor.
