Listen to therapy for black girls on the IHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. The Super Secret Bestie Club podcast season four is here. And we're locked in. That means more juicy chisement. Terrible love advice.
Starting point is 00:02:16 Evil spells to cast on your ex. No, no, no, we're not doing that this season. Oh. Well, this season, we're leveling up. Each episode will feature a special bestie, and you're not going to want to miss it. My name is Curley. And I'm Maya.
Starting point is 00:02:29 Get in here! Listen to the Super Secret Bestie Club on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. This is the Ben and Ashley I, almost famous podcast with IHartRadio. We've made it through the insanely long offseason. The off season that has never stopped. The off season that we'll never get again. Well, who knows, Ashley? This has been crazy.
Starting point is 00:02:57 But we are celebrating Claire's season premiering, starting right now with this episode. We're going to break down everything from Claire, her Bachelor headlines, the Bachelor headlines. We're going to bring on some guests who I think you're really going to want to talk to, Leslie Murphy and Robert Graham. And then we'll be airing a second episode in just a few days talking about Claire's guys, maybe what we think we can expect. And then also talking to Tinley Moleson, Eric Bigger, and Luke Pell. Ashley, we've got a big week in front of us. Yep.
Starting point is 00:03:37 So two-parter guys and just a heads up because next week, next week is the premiere. It premieres on Tuesday. The Bachelor will be on Tuesdays this year. So this podcast will also be airing on, Well, Tuesday nights. So after the episode, this will be up. Yeah, we're not going to spoil it.
Starting point is 00:04:03 This won't be like a, let's air it on Monday and you watch on Tuesday and you know what's going to happen. It'll be Tuesday nights. Ashley, I think it's important right now to mention two things. One thing less serious than the other. The first is that if there's like some like pounding in the background, it's not Jared. What it is is you have like some construction going on around your house, don't you? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:26 there's some drilling going on i'm sure it'll end soon but i'm sorry yeah just forgive her uh forgive forgive the people outside work and it's a it's a beautiful day in los angeles to be outside the second thing we want to talk about is we uh we received some messages this week um and they're they saddened our whole team here uh it was in relation to the facebook group for the almost famous podcast the group was started a few years ago with the idea that we could bring build a community around it with our listeners that they could interact, talk about the show, talk about everything they love in life. It was never intended, nor is it still, the place for bullying and for putting other people down. Conversations in the healthiest ways
Starting point is 00:05:16 are wanted, needed, accepted, but we hope this Facebook group is a representation of all of our listeners, including Ashley and myself and our team, we hope this Facebook group is a representation of all of our listeners, Ashley and myself and our team. And it won't be tolerated to make other people feel less than or to bully or to threaten. That isn't accepted. We don't want it there. And so please, if you're a part of that group, encourage kindness,
Starting point is 00:05:52 encourage love acceptance understanding gentleness and listening that is what our hope is that is what we ask of all of us together as you've noticed here recently ashley and i had to do a lot of listening a lot of learning a lot of understanding and i will tell you that i am better for it i'll speak for ashley and say that she is better for it yes and we hope for all of you so we want to start with that that is really important it is something we will be monitoring but we just we want to be able to continue to have that platform and in that place to speak and so hey uh we can move on there uh actually with some bachelor headlines and there are many just i don't know how they keep doing it but bachelor people keep doing crazy stuff um but the first headline is chris harrison on what to
Starting point is 00:06:51 expect from season 16 of the bachelorette he says and i quote it's a wild ride this according to people okay so harrison says that the drama starts on night one he also says that there will be an unprecedented twist in season 16 beyond usual fights and romantic dinner dates i wonder what he's referring to there he then goes on to say something that i actually think is kind of odd and i don't really enough if I like it. He goes, what I can confirm is that this is Claire's season 100%. It's all hers. It's about her story and everything that happens after that, you'll just have to wait and see.
Starting point is 00:07:35 What the heck? Don't you feel like that's really rude to Tasha? But again, Ashley, I mean, tell me if I'm wrong. And a lot of times you educate me on all this stuff. But like, we still don't know what Tasha's role is. this right sure but if we come to find out in week three or whatnot that she becomes the bachelorette as everyone is reporting isn't that just weird to say that it's 100% clear season and it's all about her like that's so weird yeah so there's like two pass here either one is they've really duped us
Starting point is 00:08:20 and Tasha has very little role this season. We've been wrong the whole time. They've kept it a secret which, hey, as you and I know, The Bachelor is really good at keeping secrets or Tasha is a part of this season. And this ends up being a really weird comment. I think it's just going to end up being a weird comment. I could even try to excuse it by saying like maybe they have Claire be part of the season throughout the entire thing.
Starting point is 00:08:47 They're always checking up on her. you know she's part of at least five minutes of every episode but the fact that he says it's 100% Claire season is super interesting I'm not hating on harrison we love harrison but this sounds like an extremist comment uh given all the rumors okay and we can move on from here this but Harrison doesn't speak typically I've I've never really I'm in my time kind of following along with him. I have never heard him in the promotion of a season speak unwisely and unthoughtful. Exactly. Everything he says is very strategic, it is very calculated. I know. And he knows where his boundaries can be pushed. And so what if we look into this and say, if I'm following Harrison's
Starting point is 00:09:39 lead right now, I'm saying Tasha is a smaller part of the season we think. She's not, she doesn't become the Bachelorette. Ditto, what to you said. Everything he says is, says is usually so thought out. that it's that it's almost like he wants us to read into this statement. All right. Chris Harrison. Well, you did a good job because I don't know what the thing. Anyways,
Starting point is 00:09:59 that's a comment. Next headline is the Bachelorette's Mike Johnson reveals the advice he gave first black bachelor, Matt James, this according to people. Well, it seems like he only spoke to him or gave his advice when Matt was just supposed to be a contestant on Claire's season. And the two of them met in New York City and the advice that he gave him is great advice.
Starting point is 00:10:24 It's not specific for being the Bachelor or the first Black Bachelor, but just a great advice for anyone who's going to be on the show. He said, treat a girl how your mother taught you to treat women. And then of course, he jokes by saying, your shirt's going to be off at some point in time. So I told him to make sure that you have a better body than Tyler. well it's hard to do um it's not a that's not a challenge i want to accept anyways um hey ashley we've talked about a few times and it is something that we just seem to be celebrating every week over here and we're going to bring on some some new moms uh and a future mom uh here to the next two episodes
Starting point is 00:11:10 but the bachelor's ashley fraser welcomes daughter everly anne and the quote is absolutely perfect and healthy this again according to people the baby was born on september 29th um ashley says that you can expect baby spam to come to her instagram and this just adds to our list of bachelor alums having babies this this year we went through the entire list last week and it's just it's wild it's wild this is her this is her second uh child with her husband Aaron Williams. Well, Ashley, before we move on, I do want to mention that there is a Bachelor who has recently announced that he is madly in love, and it's not with the person that he picked from his season. But before we do, Ashley, let's talk a second about Sonobelo. I have my
Starting point is 00:12:06 mom's nose. Everybody says it. I've got my mom's nose. I have my dad's personality, but I don't know if those things really translate with Sonobelo. Ashley, what kind of genetics do you get from both your parents? Well, I have a flat stomach thanks to my mom. And maybe a big booty thanks to my mom too. And I have my dad's personality for sure. And then I have my grandmother's arms. And that's the body part that I hold some weight in that I would like to not hold weight in. And holding weight in those spots that you do it's not your fault it's family genetics they can lock fat on your problem areas like your tummy your thighs muffin top back fat it keeps on going the list you know so what do you do starve yourself hit the gym every day or you can lose that fat in one day at sonabello what i love
Starting point is 00:13:01 about sonabello is that it is advanced laser fat removal and it's life changing in one visit just one visit, the fat that you've been fighting forever, it's gone. Those COVID-19 pounds, those quarantine pounds, gone permanently. You know Dr. Orden, the host of the TV show, The Doctors, right? Now he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone. Now hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That sounds totally inappropriate. Well, according to this person, this is her boyfriend's former professor and they're the same age. It's even more likely that they're cheating. He insists there's nothing between them. As we teased before, there is a bachelor who's fell madly in love with somebody that he didn't choose on a season. But before we get there, we do have a headline that we have to cover that came out this week. This according to Cosmo, Tyler Cameron opened up about not speaking to Hannah Brown this summer. Okay, this is juicy stuff. He says there was definitely a time where we didn't speak. We have a very different relationship.
Starting point is 00:19:05 It's hard to, you know. We've had ups and downs right now. I think he means it was hard to define. We've had ups and downs. Right now we're in a great spot. We're friends. We're able to kind of come back. It was really great to see her this week, if you guys didn't see.
Starting point is 00:19:22 They were spotted hanging out in L.A. It was really great to see her and hang out and be ourselves again and be friends and all that. It was hard. We both weren't in a great spot when we were hanging out. out earlier this summer. We're in a much better place now as people and it's allowing us to have a good friendship now. So if you guys remember, and I know you do, Hannah went down to Florida and was part of the quarantine crew in March. And since them, they apparently didn't really speak. They had some interactions on social media and we know that Tyler was standing by Hannah's side when she was going
Starting point is 00:20:00 through the trouble that she went through earlier this summer now this whole article this interview that cosmo did with tyler makes me wonder and like yes i'm just assuming here and yes i am spitballing things that i have no clue about but i'm just going to say it right i feel like they did have a like a sort of like a friend on and off relationship romance something was going on right there was definitely more than friendship that happened in the quarantine house because if if it weren't for a complicated are we friends are we friends with benefits can we be more i want to be more you don't want to be more type of situation then why would they stop being why would they stop talking for a period of time so do we ever get like confirmation
Starting point is 00:20:55 from the two of them back during the quarantine crew that they were like more than just friends i remember that time i remember watching the videos i remember like the assumptions being made like hey there's got to be something going on like there has to be but i don't i can't recall that we ever found out like what the status of their relationship it was or i guess now it we never did and if anything they kept saying like oh we're friends right we're friends right we're friends we're like yeah i mean like they're friends but you cannot tell me that they didn't like there wasn't a move made at some point in the quarantine house, right? I mean, this is me gossiping.
Starting point is 00:21:36 Yes, it is. I don't have facts on this. I don't know that anybody beyond Tyler and Hannah and their close group of friends have facts on this. But I think that what Tyler is saying is that their relationship was complicated at some point and they're becoming friends now and I'm speculating again. But I would just say that based on my own experience, somebody probably wanted to be more than just friends and then another person probably didn't want to be more than just friends and maybe somebody was like I can't be around you if we're not more than just friends and we need to take a friend we need to take a friend break because like it's just too hard for me and it's not healthy for me to be around you if I want more right hey that's fair this is just my deduction from these quotes but it's good to see him back out together again and it's It's nice to see the two of them just sharing life together in whatever way they have previous and are doing now.
Starting point is 00:22:36 Who knows, those kids those days, they're always doing something. And speaking of recent bachelors, Peter Weber and Kelly Flanagan are, and I quote, very in love and moving in together soon. This according to us weekly. Yeah, so the two of them are going to be moving to New York. but interestingly only for a year the plan is only for a year and they're going to get a house in the Chicago area as an investment um they are planning on moving to New York in January for Peter's job um I don't know that I tell me pilots and families of pilots out there if do do pilots have to live in a certain area I guess like if they're going on a certain route so they're going to
Starting point is 00:23:25 move to New York for a year in January for Peter's job, they said, and they're looking for a house in Chicago now. And they are very in love, very serious, and committed to one another. It's going to be so interesting if these two, like, get engaged. It's going to be so, so fun. I know. I mean, I feel like they're on their way, right? Yeah. Like, like, I feel like it's, I don't know, like this relationship has blossomed in front of us. They weren't very secret about it for long. I mean, the quarantine happened. No, they really weren't. And they've been really like side by side ever since then. I will say this. If you can quarantine in a new relationship and then keep it going after, you know, afterwards where they're, you know, it looks
Starting point is 00:24:10 like now they're out and about a little bit. Like, that's a pretty good sign. Uh, it's something to, to celebrate. I mean, they found love on this season. And, uh, yes, it maybe didn't happen the way we all thought it would or expected it would or got to watch it but hey as we just said peter weber and kelly flanagan are moving in together and uh looking like they're going to start life together well hey uh actually um let's take a break here when we come back we're going to have one of our most special people uh somebody uh that has a lot going on in their life somebody who has recently moved in with their love uh and uh and who has recently moved in with their love uh and who There's a lot of exciting things to talk about.
Starting point is 00:24:53 We're going to have Leslie Murphy. But let's take a break. When we come back, we'll have Leslie Murphy. My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious. Wait a minute, Sam. Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit. Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon. This person writes, my boyfriend has been hanging out with his young professor a lot.
Starting point is 00:25:19 He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. now he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone. Now hold up, isn't that against school policy? That sounds totally inappropriate. Well, according to this person, this is her boyfriend's former professor and they're the same age.

What would you do if one bad decision forced you to choose between a.
Starting point is 00:28:21 maximum security prison or the most brutal boot camp designed to be hell on earth. Unfortunately for Mark Lombardo, this was the choice he faced. He said, you are a number, a New York State number, and we own you. Shock incarceration, also known as boot camps, are short-term, highly regimented correctional programs that mimic military basic training. These programs aim to provide a shock of prison life, emphasizing strict discipline, physical training, hard labor, and rehabilitation programs. Mark had one chance to complete this program
Starting point is 00:28:57 and had no idea of the hell awaiting him the next six months. The first night was so overwhelming, and you don't know who's next to you. And we didn't know what to expect in the morning. Nobody tells you anything. Listen to shock incarceration on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. all right guys leslie murphy from sean low season from our season of bachelor winter games is on the line right now uh hey leslie you've got so much going on there's like three major
Starting point is 00:29:35 things in your life okay you got engaged i did you got engaged this year pre-quarantine okay then you announced last week that you're pregnant congratulations Thank you. Thank you. And this week, you announced that you're moving. Two back home to Arkansas. It's wild. I don't even know where to start. I don't even think it's all processed. I need time in 2020, man. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:30:09 Yeah. So let's start at the beginning. You got engaged a few months back. When was the exact date? February 4th. Can't forget. February 4th. Had it happened. He proposed via drone, via model plane. So he flew a model plane on the bottom of a drone with the ring attached all the way across the beach. So risky.
Starting point is 00:30:33 So risky. I thought he wasn't going to put the ring in it and just like pull it out of his pocket. But yeah, it was pretty ballsy. And the ring was in the box the whole time. And so then he had this little drop maneuver and he just press a button. and so then the ring dropped from the drone and he got down on the knee on the beach in L.A. That's so cute.
Starting point is 00:30:56 Yeah, it was cute. It was like. Oh, please, Ben, I'm sure your proposal was beautiful. I had it in my back pocket. It was like an ode to how we met because I slid into his DMs and hopes that this complete stranger at the time would fix my drone. So then it all came full circle with the proposal. Wait, a stranger would fix your drones?
Starting point is 00:31:19 yeah I had a I had a drone that needed to be fixed and so a mutual friend told me to to DM him to see if he could fix it and so I randomly just went into his DMs one day like two years ago and he couldn't fix it but he let me borrow his in hopes that we'd see each other again and so the rest of his history was there any other like reason for you DMing him or is it really just for the drone it was just for the drone and I didn't do any research on this guy but I remember pulling up to his house, his door was already open so I could see him before I even crossed through the threshold. And I saw him and I was like, damn, I should have done more research on this guy. He's hot. And that's how it started. And then we saw each other again because I had to give his drone back to him. And then our first day was when we went flying my new drone because he bought me a new one. Where's he from? Where's he live? He is from Sydney, Australia. And he lives with me now in Arkansas. How did you, okay, so were you in Australia when your drone broke?
Starting point is 00:32:26 No, no, we were both living in L.A. at the time. So this was two years ago. We were both on the west side in L.A., which never happens. You know, if you live anywhere close in L.A., it's like a magical seat because I had to drive like eight minutes to his house to see if he could fix his drone. And so it just worked easy from the get-go. and yeah it all started with drones and ended with drones that's really cute that proposal is even cuter now so you're getting this guy who is from sydney australia to move to little rock arkansas right i never thought there'd be a day like like this would happen but it did and he
Starting point is 00:33:04 lovingly and willingly said yes because he's such a family guy and the australian borders are closed for god knows how much longer because of covid and so he said you know I think family is so important, and when we have this baby, I think it's important to be around family. If we can't be around mine, we should be around yours. And so I struggled really hard of it because I never thought I'd move back to Arkansas, never in a million years. And then, you know, I kept going back to, I'm never going to regret spending more time with family, especially when this baby's born. And so here we are on day one in Arkansas. This is day one. Like this is the first move. Well,
Starting point is 00:33:46 Thanks for taking time to hang out with this. What are some things you're most looking forward to with the move back, other than family? I mean, family's obvious. Yeah, family is obvious. I mean, that's the number one reason we're here. And to have help with the baby, honestly, I mean, I am not a mother yet. I certainly don't know what I'm doing. So I need all the help I can get from them.
Starting point is 00:34:11 Rekindling old friendships that I, you know, haven't seen since high school or prior to that. And being gone, I work and travel. And so when we were living in L.A., it's hard to create a community there when you're constantly back and forth all over the world. And so here, I have that stable community. And so I can leave and know I can come back and have, you know, the ones to see when I do. What do you plan on doing when it comes to traveling and having a newborn? Good question. drop the kid on my back and go yeah so it's not going to we don't think it's going to affect your travels
Starting point is 00:34:49 much i think in the beginning it will i mean i'm so scared for that first ride i'm not going to lie because we all we've all been there where there's a crying kid behind us and i know it's going to happen and i don't know what to do just yet but like anything else you figure it out right and uh and yeah i think it's a learn everything's a learning process in an experiment and like I said I'm I'm so nervous but we we figured out people do it all the time did you guys did you ever set a wedding date like would were you planning on getting married this year or were you still like this was still a planning year for you guys yeah I mean he engraved 10 10 20 on this guy oh which is you know in a few days from now um so it's a little it's a little
Starting point is 00:35:43 sad knowing that date is coming soon and we won't be getting married. And that's okay. I think as the pandemic went on, we realized that that date was less and less likely to be ours, especially because he's from Australia and his family is still in Australia. They can't get out. We can't get in. It's just a crazy year. And so I think we are doing the best we can with the time we have by having a maybe first he engraved a date um before you said yes right why wait why that date is a really good question because when he proposed shortly thereafter he was like okay okay look at the look at the engagement ring look what's on the inside and i was like oh god and i looked in the sentence in 20 and i was so taken aback because obviously we had we hadn't talked about that and and i came to find out that
Starting point is 00:36:42 he had just talked to my mom and I guess my mom always knew that I liked the October month for getting married although he and I had never talked about it so it was still a bit random and like super super ballsy on his side um but like I said I've always envisioned in October wedding and I love even numbers and you can't forget a date like 10 10 20 so it all kind of lined up I was on board but 2020 you know had other plans. I still kind of I find it like kind of sweet that you're always remember 2020 based on that engraving like you'll look back and you go yes that wasn't a day there'll be a new date but like it I kind of find it sweet I kind of find it like I like it too for I don't I can't put my finger
Starting point is 00:37:30 on what it is about it but I like it I want to do something special on that date too I don't know what yet but I want to I want to celebrate in some way of I guess what could have been Yeah, we'll have a new 2021 dates. I don't know what it's going to look like. I don't know where it's going to be because it's hard to visualize something when another
Starting point is 00:37:54 milestone, like the baby's coming first and when a whole half of the family is on another continent. So there's just a lot of things in the air that haven't settled. Yeah, Leslie Murphy, you have more things going on right now than most humans have in like five years and you're just
Starting point is 00:38:10 packing it into the one year that like why not you know we got time on our hands just go ahead and have a baby move and get married but really i mean that's the thing we do have time on our hands because like i said i work and travel can't really do that right now um and so i don't know i i am not mad at this year there are many many hardships that have come with it but i think for the most part it's been you know pretty good to the two of us with an engagement and a baby and a move back home to family I really can't complain. Can you share with us the day that you found out you were pregnant?
Starting point is 00:38:49 Sure. Yeah. I haven't talked about this anywhere. So here we go. Yeah, exclusive. It's really not like anything dramatic. I, you know, as you do when you get pregnant, if you are in tune with your body, you realize that you must period.
Starting point is 00:39:10 And I did just that. And so I said, I just had a feeling. And I took a pregnancy test. I went to Target and then waited until that night to take the pregnancy test because it's such a big moment. And I knew, I'm just new in the back of my mind. I was like, this is going to read positive. And I knew from that moment on that my life and his would be forever changed.
Starting point is 00:39:37 And so I waited until that night to take it. I actually took the test, set it on the sink because it takes like a few seconds or moments and actually took a bath. And I was like, okay, I just need to like, like suspense, but I knew the moment I looked at it that my life would forever change. So I just wanted a few more moments of, I guess, peace and stillness in the way life was in that moment before it changed forever. And so then I got out of the bath and I immediately.
Starting point is 00:40:09 looked at it and it said pregnant on it. And I literally just walked out of the bathroom and he's sitting there watching TV. And I go, um, we're pregnant. I like had to get it off my chest. I couldn't. I so badly wanted to do something cute and surprise them in some way. But it was nighttime. We're really about to go to sleep. And I like, it was like word moment. I had to get it out of my body and and have somebody else just know it. So that's how it happens. Did he know, like, that you had an inkling, or was he just completely, like, was this out of nowhere?
Starting point is 00:40:49 No, I, in fact, I didn't tell my box partner's test that day. Because I like this, the shock factor a little bit. So I was, I didn't even tell him I was taking the test. I just kind of walked in the bathroom, stuck a bath, and then came out with a massive surprise. And you know what is the funniest part of this whole thing is. So like I said, this is, at nighttime. I just took a bath. We're about to go to sleep. So he gets in bed. I walk back to
Starting point is 00:41:16 brush my teeth and I can hear him kind of breathing really hard in the bedroom, like almost like he's hyperventilating. And I'm like, are you okay in there? And he's like, yeah, I think I'm fine. It's just, you know, it's just a lot to process. And so I walk back in the bed. I sit down and he immediately gets up and runs to the bathroom and vomits everywhere. Oh, yeah, that's a boy. Yeah, it was just a lot to handle for him, I think. But in the moment, all I can do is laugh because I was like, I'm a pregnant one. I should do the sick one. And it was a funny moment.
Starting point is 00:41:50 I'm always interested, though. I think those moments are so special, ones that you can't forget. But like, what was his first reaction? Because I put myself in his position. Yeah. And I mean, honestly, you don't know what, you know, you don't know how you're going to react. What was his initial reaction and instinct? It was not as, it wasn't as like dramatic as I had hoped.
Starting point is 00:42:13 So I walk out of the bathroom and I don't even give him time to think or look or anything. Immediately just word vomit, we're pregnant. And it takes a second to register in his brain. And then he was just like, oh my God, are we really? Wow. He's just, he's just, he's just sitting and processing. sitting and processing and I'm like yeah that's that's it that's all I got and I think you know and then about a few minutes later is when he threw up everywhere and so still processing but ultimately I
Starting point is 00:42:52 mean with all that being said he is thrilled I mean he wanted to be a dad last year so this is he's thrilled minus the you know the vomit so yeah speaking of vomit how is your first trimester been How are you feeling? Yeah, good. I have had no morning sickness. Oh, good for you. None. I am lucky in that aspect.
Starting point is 00:43:16 I was really, really tired, a lot of fatigue, a lot of bloating, but that's about it. I really, I was shocked because I had prepared myself for, you know, the worst, and it didn't come. That's amazing. Good for you. It's amazing. Yeah. Leslie, we here at the Almost Famous podcast, I want to say congratulations on all this stuff. I mean, that's just a huge deal for you and in so many ways.
Starting point is 00:43:46 And moving back home is obviously a big move. And people love you and follow you because of your travels and because of your adventure. And this is a new adventure, one that we can't wait to follow along with. If people out there listening go, hey, I just need a little bit more of Leslie Murphy in my life. where can they follow you where can they tune in to this journey i love it uh you can tune in various places one being instagram at leslie anne murphy or my blog the road less travels with one s as in lefty we can't let you go before we talk about claire uh of course of course you and claire got really close during bachelor winter games tell us all your thoughts about
Starting point is 00:44:27 her being the bachelorette if you talk to her since she's left the show or anything that you got. I know. And we were all there together on Bachelor winner game. So you guys know just as much as I do. But I love, I love that she's the Bachelorette or I guess one of two this season. Allegedly. Well, let's pause there. Let's actually pause there. Leslie, there is a quote this week from Chris Harrison. Okay. And we spoke about it before he came on. We don't know how to decipher it. In fact, we're super confused by it and uh and before we move on to your thoughts on claire i do think it i want to hear your thoughts on this this quote so chris harrison came out this week and told people uh he says what i can confirm is this is claire's season a hundred percent it's all hers it's about
Starting point is 00:45:17 her story and everything that happens after it after it you'll just have to wait and see Leslie, if you're just an almost famous listener and two hosts that try to do their best to make sense of it all, what's your thoughts on that? Knowing that we've always thought there was two bachelorets. Yeah, no kidding. I guess my initial thoughts are I'd love to sit down, drink a bottle of wine with Chris and really get the deeds because I, now I'm just thoroughly confused. I don't know. I'm thoroughly confused and I just want to get Chris intoxicated so it's. tells me all the good but i don't know i uh i'm still regardless of that quote that is very
Starting point is 00:46:02 that's still very vague i still think we got we got too bachelor's same i think we do too okay anyway sorry to sorry to do uh go off on a tangent there we just i have no clue what to do with that um thoughts on clear i don't know what to do with this whole season but going back to Claire. I love that they chose her first as the Bachelorette. I love that she is fierce. I love that she knows what she wants as a woman. I love that she hasn't settled as a 39-year-old. I think a lot of women, it can't generalize her blanket that statement by any means. But I think some women, as they get older, tend to settle. And she's not done that. And I think the world of her for that. And I think it's a good, she's a great role model for others to find their power and find
Starting point is 00:46:54 the person they're meant to be with in the end. And I hope she does that with us as an audience, being able to watch it all play out. Same. Because we didn't, we didn't get there on Bachelor Winter Games and that's okay. We get another dose. I love the other dose. And let's just point out that you and Claire used to take baths together in the Winter Games house. We sure did. But which is one of my favorite moments from that season and the edit from that is just great. I mean, really, I don't know. I don't remember if you guys were in the hot tub, but it was full. So we had to make our own party. Oh, that's right. Yeah. Yeah. I didn't get that. The party in the bathroom was better. The girl chat. There was way, there was way too many bodies in that hot tub at all times.
Starting point is 00:47:39 It's true. Yeah, it's not for me. Bye. Yeah. You got to make your own party sometimes, you know. That's right. Well, Leslie Murphy, you're the best. Congratulations on all the things going on. Good luck with the move. This is an exciting one. Ashley and I both love our families. I know you love your family. It is not an easy decision, I'm sure, but one, we can all celebrate and know it's for the good. Leslie Murphy, everybody. Thanks for coming on. Thank you guys. Appreciate it. Bye.
