Starting point is 00:02:15 This is the Almost Famous Podcast. Bachelor Nation has not stayed quiet this week. And we have a few headlines to send your way. Just to get you thinking. Ashley, you're still here. That's my last day. Okay. Why? Is tomorrow it? um because i'm getting induced on monday okay when was your due date again it's a week from monday is
Starting point is 00:02:35 technically um but the practice that i go to basically is just like you know 39 weeks we're down to induce you if you know because it's just more comfortable and like for them they get to like my my doctor my midwife who i've been with the entire time will be able to be there on monday whereas like if i went into spontaneous labor i could have anybody at the practice show up. Okay. So they're super nice and, you know, I was like, okay. I actually hope that I go, that I don't go into spontaneous labor in the next couple
Starting point is 00:03:10 days because I just came back from a doctor's appointment and she made it seem like it's just going to be so easy peasy. She's like, you come in the morning, we'll start putocin. As soon as you feel anything, that's when we'll start the epidural. She's like, and before you know what, the kid's going to be out of you. It's going to be so good. I'm like, all right. Hopefully, like, nothing happens the next three days then.
Starting point is 00:03:31 Yeah, goodness, gracious. I hope it's that easy for you. Yeah, me too. I'm still glad you're here. That's a big headline to start with. But the second headline actually might be not as big by any means, but it is a big one. The question is, did Bachelor Nation couple Susie Evans and Justin Glaze break up? Through the rumor mill, this came about.
Starting point is 00:03:55 A lot of speculation out there in Bachelor Nation. right now yeah so they officially announced that they were together in um november december after lying to us yeah it was in december because they were lying to us in november um you and i or in october or something like that they were actually together for a while before they publicly came out with their relationship and all the sudden they've been kind of quiet on social media all they've posted together has been ads. So we're thinking like, oh, are those like prior obligations, have they recorded those ads in advance?
Starting point is 00:04:34 And then like they just got approval. You know, the post date is later in their relationship or maybe they signed contracts saying that they would do the, the ads together. We don't really know for sure. But we know that they haven't been in any real organic content together lately. and somebody spotted Justin out with another girl a couple of days ago and there's a TikTok about it
Starting point is 00:05:02 and that of course is eyebrow raising. It doesn't look super romantic but it doesn't like they're walking into a building together just the two of them. I'm sadden to hear this actually. We spend a lot of good time with the two of them together as a couple. you did because you had that trip yeah quite two trips I've been on you said oh two trips yeah but I didn't go on this year so um you said that you would be surprised if their relationship didn't end in marriage I am surprised honestly they seem like a good fit now and and you know when you get to be around a couple the Instagram kind of like hair life is perfect picture goes away but they still seemed super great and happy and and giddy around each other.
Starting point is 00:05:54 I'm sure they're still good friends. I mean, it's nice that it's working out this way. It's just sad that it didn't work out because I really thought this could be a couple that made it. Well, also, Ben, it looks like he unfollowed Susie on Instagram. That's not a good sign. That's not a good sign. It's not a good sign.
Starting point is 00:06:13 We'll keep everybody informed as we know more. Or maybe we can get one of them on the podcast at some point, just to give everybody an update on what happened. where they're at. Well, speaking of relationships, the next headline is about a new relationship. Tyler Cameron reveals he has a new girlfriend and shares why he's being secretive about it. Yeah, he says it's a new girlfriend, but I'm not so sure about this. I think it's a girlfriend.
Starting point is 00:06:39 He's been dating for a while. I think it's the girl that's part of his show on Amazon. The one with the hat? I think it's actually this girl, Tate. She was the one on going home with Tyler Cameron on Amazon. they seem to have like a florid friendship i think it was just i think they were friends for a long time like a long time from florida and they seem to have like a really close relationship but she doesn't have a ton on her instagram as of now like recently with him which i actually think
Starting point is 00:07:10 so yeah she said i really love this crew and i really love going home with tyler cameron now streaming on crime video that was 12 weeks ago that she last posted a picture with Tyler, but 12 weeks ago is still pretty, I would call that still new. I think they've been friends and now they're really starting to explore things romantically. But she hasn't posted anything of him since 12 weeks ago. I feel like this is going to be serious, actually, because I think he's taking his time with her. I think, yeah, he doesn't want to be public because I think he's taking it very seriously. Could be the real deal.
Starting point is 00:07:51 Yes My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly And now I'm seriously suspicious Well, wait a minute, Sam, Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit Well Dakota, it's back to school week On the OK Storytime podcast So we'll find out soon
Starting point is 00:08:08 This person writes My boyfriend has been hanging out With his young professor a lot He doesn't think it's a problem But I don't trust her Now he's insisting we get to know each other But I just want her gone Now hold up
Starting point is 00:08:19 Isn't that against school policy? That sounds totally inappropriate. Well, according to this person, this is her boyfriend's former professor and they're the same age. And it's even more likely that they're cheating. He insists there's nothing between them. I mean, do you believe him? Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him because he now wants them both to meet. So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not?
Starting point is 00:08:40 To hear the explosive finale, listen to the OK Storytime podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Hi, my name is Enya Yumanzoor. And I'm Drew Phillips. And we run a podcast called Emergency Intercom. If you're a crime junkie and you love crimes, we're not the podcast for you. But if you have unmedicated ADHD... Oh my God, perfect. And want to hear people with mental illness, psychobabble.
Starting point is 00:09:08 Yes, yes. Then Emergency Intercom is the podcast for you. Open your free IHeartRadio app. Search Emergency Intercom and listen now. Imagine that you're on an airplane and all of a sudden you hear this. Attention passengers. The pilot is having an emergency and we need someone, anyone, to land this plane. Think you could do it? It turns out that nearly 50% of men think that they could land the plane with the help of air traffic control. And they're saying like, okay, pull this, do this, pull that,
Starting point is 00:09:40 turn this. It's just, I can do it my eyes close. I'm Manny. I'm Noah. This is Devin. And on our new show, no such thing, we get to the bottom of questions like these. Join us. Join us. says we talk to the leading expert on overconfidence. Those who lack expertise, lack the expertise they need to recognize that they lack expertise. And then, as we try the whole
Starting point is 00:10:02 thing out for real. Wait, what? Oh, that's the run right. I'm looking at this thing. See? Listen to no such thing on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hola, it's HoneyGerman, and my podcast, Grasasas Come Again, is back.
Starting point is 00:10:20 and we're going even deeper into the world of music and entertainment with raw and honest conversations with some of your favorite Latin artists and celebrities. You didn't have to audition? No, I didn't audition. I haven't auditioned in like over 25 years. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:10:33 That's a real G-talk right there. Oh, yeah. We've got some of the biggest actors, musicians, content creators, and culture shifters sharing their real stories of failure and success. You were destined to be a start.
Starting point is 00:10:47 We talked all about what's viral and trending with a little bit of chisement, a lot of laughs, and those amazing vibras you've come to expect. And, of course, we'll explore deeper topics dealing with identity, struggles, and all the issues affecting our Latin community. You feel like you get a little whitewash because you have to do the code switching?
Starting point is 00:11:06 I won't say whitewash because at the end of the day, you know, I'm me. But the whole pretending and coat, you know, it takes a toll on you. Listen to the new season of Grasasas Come Again as part of My Cultura Podcast Network on the IHart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. next one is brayden bowers reveals why being a stepdad is one of the hardest things he's ever done
Starting point is 00:11:33 yeah so he went on susan and kathie's podcast the bachelor happy hour golden hour recently with you know his fiance christina mandrel and they were talking about their life in nashville with her daughter and the planning of their wedding. And he says, it's one of the hardest things I've ever had to do in my life. I love it. I absolutely love Blakely, but there's no break. She's seven, but she's also every bit of 13. She's the sassiest little person. Everything is just, oh, why? Why? I want to cut her some slack, though, because she really does accommodate well. She listens very well. And there have been some growing pains, of course, that we've had to navigate go through. But at the end of the day, when it comes to me and her, I want to show her that
Starting point is 00:12:23 my biggest love language is spending quality time together. That's his biggest love language. So he says that he just shows her that he will always be there to hang out with her and listen to her. And he also wants to make sure that he's just really consistent in those areas. That's really sweet. You can tell that he's like trying. There's a lot of effort there. you know one of the cool things actually i don't want to come off wrong it might but i think the point we'll get across i think when brayden and christina got engaged during the golden wedding people were like hey this is all for show right this is their moment this is what they want to do they want the attention etc like those things were said i think they even admitted to that when we interviewed
Starting point is 00:13:10 them that you know there was a lot of criticism but there was also some support along the way I think one thing that is happening right now, not that they had to prove it to us or they're even meaning to prove it to anybody, but it's really showing that this is the real deal. Like the two of them together are the real deal. And this engagement is going to end in a really exciting love story that we should all be really getting behind at this point. I know. They're going to be like a real official bachelor married couple, I feel. I just wish she was on Paradise. That would have been great.
Starting point is 00:13:42 I know. It would have counted more. Yeah. So weird she wasn't on Paris. I still feel like it's weird that she wasn't on paradise. Love means more when it's on paradise. That's that's the takeaway. Final headline of today is one that is very interesting to me.
Starting point is 00:14:00 I did kind of see some headlines coming out about this this week. I read up on it. And it's a lesson learned, I think, for Anna Redmond. Yeah. Anna Redmond is slammed, the headline says, for posting outfit and SPO for trip to Auschwitz. Poland, here we come, is the quote. So when I first saw it, I was like, oh, God,
Starting point is 00:14:26 oh, cringe, extraordinary. What it is is there's a TikTok where she, or Instagram packing list, whatever, where she shows how she packs for trips. They're going to Poland. And they'll be visiting Auschwitz, when they go to Poland and on her, like she basically has an agenda for her outfits, an itinerary where it's like basically every dinner and every landmark they go to, she has an outfit already
Starting point is 00:14:55 I'm sorry, packed out for it, planned, packed, whatever. She is going through the list. I don't think she says all she was by name, but she's showing people like scrolling, showing them how she has an outfit planned for each event. And people pointed out that she had a planned outfit for Auschwitz, which, look, I, it's just like, why did you share it on social media? If you had an outfit planned, which it was a conservative and black outfit, that sounds very appropriate for the place. It's just a little cringe that she included it on her packing list on social media. Do you know what I mean? it's just I mean I don't
Starting point is 00:15:43 only because I don't plan for trips ever exactly like I don't understand any of it I'm not a packer like this I know there's lots of girls that do pack like this it just seemed like a weird influencery thing to do and to involve Auschwitz and anything influencery is really
Starting point is 00:16:02 weird she got a lot of crap for it lots of like good girl goodbye this is effed up this is effing gross man I never thought I'd see an outfit guide for a freaking concentration camp. But then I also did see some people that were like, you know, at least she's planning on wearing something conservative and dark for the occasion. I don't know. It's just she shouldn't have posted it on social media.
Starting point is 00:16:29 No. I mean, this is a spot that is somber, a spot that should, you know, that you go to not to kind of even. I would say show off or to show that you're going there other than to in remembrance and in like there you go like you're giving thought to the get showing that you're giving thought to something as frivolous as an outfit feels a little weird yeah well it definitely I think she learned her lesson right yeah um I think this is um this is something for you know in the future that she will not do again and I think this is
Starting point is 00:17:10 is, you know, it's probably a very difficult season for her because I don't think she meant disrespect from it, but it definitely probably felt like it to the audience that saw it. Yeah. Is that fair? Yeah. Yeah. It was an insensitive, not wealthy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:28 I think that's the way to say it. But if you've seen the headlines, that's why there, the headlines are out there, that, you know, there was an outfit planned for a place where, you know what? It's a tough place, no matter what, to go to. And being an influencer there is definitely not appropriate. Right. You are a human representing and respecting other humans who went through the worst of the worst. Well, sure she's learned her lessons.
Starting point is 00:17:59 And I am sure there's going to be more headlines for you next week. Obviously, Ashley just said she won't be with us. But we'll do our best to fill in the best we can without her. It's never easy without Ashley here. So until next time, I've been Ben. So sweet. I've been Ashley. I'll be here in a couple weeks.
Starting point is 00:18:18 Hopefully. Everything goes smoothly. Love you. Bye. Follow the Ben and Ashley I, almost famous podcast on IHartRadio or subscribe wherever you listen to podcasts. My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly
