we're excited to be here hey uh team i have to apologize right away we've talked about it before we're
to keep talking about it. I am on tour right now for The Bachelor Live on stage. So you never know
how my internet's going to be, how, if I'm going to be in studio or not, we're going to give
this the best try today because I can't go another week without talking to you all. But in
studio, we have Ashley Ikenetti and a very... Claire, Claire, Claire, Claire, Claire, Claire, Claire, Claire,
Claire, Claire, Claire, Claire, Claire, Claire. I just wanted to start. The first thing I wanted to say
today was a Claire chant. That's right. We're going to talk a lot about Claire Crawley.
to the Bachelorette.
We're going to talk about her with Corinne Olympios, who is in studio as well.
Yay.
Hi, guys.
Hi, Corinne.
How do you feel about Claire being the Bachelorette?
I'm so excited.
I'm so happy.
I'm so happy.
I feel like it's just so refreshing and it's getting back to like the real like Bachelor and Bachelorette,
like not at like 21 year old who like is just like,
like is just like excited about just like getting famous or whatever and I just am really happy
for her. Did you watch back in the Claire days, Claire? I did not, but I just, I really like her
already. Okay, good. Let's talk about this off the very start. So huge news and bachelor nation.
We've got a lot of hot topics to go through, but one of those is that Claire Crawley, uh,
was just announced as our next bachelor at. I said it in an interview this week. If you would have asked me a
week and a half ago who would be bachelorette. Claire Crawley wouldn't have come to my mind in the top
20. Honestly, I just never would have thought about it. But now that it happened, it makes sense. I'm a big
fan of the idea. I'm excited for this season. I think that most fans are because it will increase the
age. But Corinne and Ashley, I want to throw it over to you two to discuss what else have we been
missing over the last few years of The Bachelorette that now with Claire's season we're
hoped to see.
Well, not to my own horn, but I did say two and a half weeks ago, in an ideal world, I would
have wanted Claire to be the Bachelorette.
I think that she feels all, she embodies all the gaps that people are feeling like
they're missing these days.
One, there's the age thing.
So people are feeling the season's too young that these people have plenty of years to find
their person.
In Claire's case, you know, if she does want to have kids and the guys that are in her season also want to have kids, you know, it's about time.
And I think that that's going to put like a little bit more pressure on people really being there to find love.
And these people who hopefully will be like in their 30s for her are going to be people who already are set in their careers established and they're not.
not going on for Instagram followers
like Claire didn't sign up
for Instagram followers back during
Juan Pablo's days because that Instagram wasn't
a thing back then. She went on for love and I think
that these guys are also going to be in the place
in their lives that
they're going to be there for love and family as well.
I completely agree with
that. And anything
else? Anything else that you think that Claire
is set apart from the other woman?
I mean, for me, I think you're right.
I think she's shown the intention to go on this show
not for the followers.
Um, we've done winter games with her.
I think during that time, she was kind of still in like a place.
I don't feel like winter games was a fit for her, even though she kind of came out of it.
And there was like this relationship with Benoit that was surprising.
Didn't make a lot of sense.
We're still confused by today.
I still don't get it and never really saw it during the, the whole experience.
It was, it was wishful thinking on his behalf and politeness on hers.
I feel like, yes.
I think that's the one thing that I would love to get some clarity on is, you know, I think she just really wants to find a partner.
Benoit proposed to her.
She said yes, and that's a big deal.
But that's the last time we've seen her.
I don't know Claire in the last few years.
But what I do know is that during winter game,
she spoke very openly about wanting to find a partner.
Why, like, knowing Claire yourself or knowing her from the show during Juan Pablo season,
what are you most excited for coming into her season?
Like, what can we expect as fans and viewers?
What I love about Claire is that she's warm.
so friendly a great conversation list she's like the kind of girl that you can confide in
you can always have girl time like girl time with her is the best girl time and she it has such
an open heart like she has no boundaries up she has no um guards up I think that's going to be
really good for this season and then on the other hand she has that Hannah B quality where if
some person is treating her in a way that she doesn't deserve she's
She's going to call him out on it and she's going to be articulate about it.
I think from my time with Claire and getting to know her better and better through the years, you're spot on.
And to add to that as well, I think, you know, you just came on.
We saw the woman tell all.
And you talked about emotional shaming.
I think we're going to see a lot of emotion out of Claire.
I think we're going to see a lot of tears, a lot of being upset, confront.
confused, heartbroken, hurt, but also a lot of joy, like the emotions that are joyful and
happy and excited. I think we're going to see those as well. I have a feeling and not to take
anything away from Peter's season because we're going to move on from that and continue to go
forward and still hope for his happy ending. What we missed in Peter's season, which is depth
and deep storylines and a little heaviness and love stories play out and heartbreak and conversations
happening, I think what we've lacked in Peter's season, we're really going to get in Claire
season. So much. She's not going to, she's not going to be okay with, if like a guy is not letting
her dig in, like Ben says, she's going to be like, no, thank you. I feel like she's just going to be
able to point out immaturity super quickly and not deal with it and just be like, I'm not doing it.
And she's going to just find the most authentic person and it's going to be authentic. And I think it's
going to be really good. So that makes me really happy because like honestly like not going to point out
any seasons or say names, but like I've been watching and I just feel like people that have been on
the past couple seasons are just like not authentic. And like it's like kind of like moo. And I just like
am happy that she's going to be able to find someone authentic. And I think her heart is going to be open to
everyone. And you know how this season, how you were just saying we're talking about emotion. And I was
talking about how emotion and strength go together and a lot of people think that they don't.
I think Claire is going to be a perfect example of like her full range of emotions demonstrating
strength.
I just can't believe that a wish of mine that I thought was so far off a couple of weeks ago
because when people were like, oh, I'm craving this.
I'm craving this.
I'm like, you know, Claire would be the perfect solution to all this?
Was she like already in the mix?
No, in my head she was.
It's just because like I've been rooting for her since getting to know her better on winter
games we were together on bachelor in paradise too she went you know my my husband asked her on a date
and they kissed and i still think she's awesome so that is how awesome claire crawley is
okay i wasn't okay with it at the time but now i don't give a crap and i am so happy that she's
the bachelorette and i i think that um i've just been i got so attached to her during winter
games thinking that she was just such a cool woman who like deserve the world that's awesome yeah
see people like that really deserve it and that makes me really happy i'm really happy for her
oh i'm thrilled for her well we have a lot of women to talk about from last night we had the women
tell them not much happened i will say not much happened everything that happened was just
rehashing of old arguments and those arguments when brought up again still didn't get solved
So it's like, shocker
I know, right?
What is the point of women's at all at this point?
Is it just a filler episode?
It is.
Is it an episode where I get to go make a really cool special appearance
and I'm forever grateful and thankful for them to have me back every now and then?
Oh, that's so nice.
Isn't that nice?
I'm so glad they love you so much.
They fucking hate me.
What I mean?
Why would you think?
All right, well, yeah, there was some drama back there a couple years ago.
Honestly, all's well that ends well.
But, no, I mean, the point of women tell all is obviously just to give a filler, as you said,
and to get people to still keep watching because they just want to keep up with, like,
what's going to happen on the end episode.
And they think they're going to find, like, some clue in there or something like that.
But honestly, there really has no point to it.
It's annoying.
It's like, it gets a little trashy up there.
It does.
It is the moment where The Bachelor kind of becomes a little bit more housewives-esque.
Exactly.
It's just like all about.
the argument. And I don't want to hear girls fight for like two hours. No, no one cares. Um,
and then the other thing is because if they wind up on paradise together, everyone becomes friends
anyways. That's always my number one question to the girls when I'm doing my access interviews
after women tell all. I'm like, so how is that drama going to go down? Are you going to keep
holding on to it once you go into Bachelor in Paradise? If I can go to Bachelor in Paradise and be
fine with Taylor, Moka, or whatever the hell her last name is, I think everyone can be fine.
Okay. Yes. I agree. I think it's like always going to just be like whatever. That was nine months ago. Let's start fresh. New journey. New time. Let's do this. That's why I'm not even going to bring up any of that drama right now. And I didn't do it much with the girls when I did in my access interviews. I think the one thing that we really need to talk about here is the fact that Victoria F gets eliminated at the beginning of the episode. The first 10, 15 minutes is a continuation of where we left off last week.
And that was Madison left the fantasy date, you know, mid-dinner because she doesn't know what she's going to do now that he admits to sleeping with the other two women.
And they tease it a little bit because Hannah Ann and Victoria F arrived to the rose ceremony a lot earlier than Maddie, who's like trailing behind, you know, for suspense reasons.
Uh-huh.
And then he eliminates Victoria F.
Ask Maddie if she will accept the rose.
And then Maddie says yes.
And then he says, are you sure?
And she says yes.
Okay.
I wish Maddie didn't accept the rose.
Maybe for my own drama, for my own like drama heart,
I wanted her not to accept the rose.
But I also feel like, oh, I don't know.
I guess she's Christian and like her Christian values are probably like,
I should probably forgive this guy, right?
What do you want?
I wasn't expecting you to say.
I was not expecting that.
Really?
Yeah, I think her Christian values should be stronger.
And she kind of just like doesn't know, you know, it's like an intense situation.
Maybe she's like, no, I can't.
I don't know.
Maybe like, no, I came here to do this.
I'm doing this.
Or like, I don't want to leave the show like this.
Or like, I don't know.
I don't think it's her Christian values.
No, so you don't think that she's like saying,
forgive you in accepting that rose?
Listen, I think she's awesome.
Like, I think the world.
I love her.
I love her. I know.
World of that girl.
Which is why I didn't want her to accept the rose.
Exactly.
Right now you deserve better.
Exactly.
And I thought that she was really stinking cool for leaving that day and standing her ground.
And I think that a lot of girls did.
And I think that she's like super like women power.
I know.
I'm not even like a huge like women power girl.
Like yeah, power to the V.
But like I'm not like all into that.
But that was cool.
It was cool.
And I guess,
I was proud of her.
Like, partially for Maddie herself and partially for the good drama,
I wanted her to deny the rose.
And then see Peter have like this spiral in which he had to go.
Like, he'd be, let's just pretend that Maddie is his one.
That's the one he intends to end up with.
Okay.
Then we'd have to see Peter in this emotional turmoil
where he had to make a decision between going with one of the two girls
that he didn't picture himself with just because that's all he had left.
I don't think that, honestly, like, yeah, Hannah-Anne, like, looks good on paper
to make it to the end.
And, like, I guess a lot of people from the beginning thought that she would.
None of us feel it.
None of us feel it.
I don't.
Thank you for being, for agreeing with me.
I'm like, I don't get it.
I don't get it.
I don't get Hannah Ann.
I should do that on my I don't get a podcast.
I don't get Hannah Ann.
And it's not like a bad thing.
That's a freaking episode there.
I thank you.
It's not a bad thing.
It's just I don't feel a connection to her.
And I feel like I don't know her at all.
I don't even feel like Peter has a connection to her.
Forget you.
I don't feel like they have a real connection at all.
I feel like that's just like the girl that you date because you're bored and like you're excited.
And you just want to like get it in and then like have like a quick combo with.
her but nothing too deep and then you're out did you see that oh you didn't you didn't see
the way that she put the lip gloss on oh stop she put lip gloss on you know how at the
beginning of like you know this when they make you pretend like you're getting ready you're
like i'm still fully ready but then they're like can you just like not put your clothes on
go to five hours you're like can you just like brush your hair a little bit or like put an extra
layer of lip stuff on so they make her go in the bathroom and like reapply lip gloss after
her lips are already super glossy and she's like dabbing it on and I'm like oh my god I've
never seen something more cringy in my life and I know like that was the kind of thing of people
like oh my god Ashley's trying to hate Anna Ann just because for like some stupid reason it's like
no watch that scene back and tell me that's not the most annoying thing you ever seen oh my god
I yeah okay I agree with you so anyway you agree with me on the Maddie thing too
she probably should have said no I don't accept this rose and oh man honestly
like we can whatever but like I didn't know that she was still there I honestly thought that
oh you really thought that she was going to leave I thought she left so I'm like super bummed right now
oh wow I'm like really annoyed I can't believe that you thought she was going to actually leave
oh my god of girl I literally was like yes queen get out of there you're done and I was like ha ha and that's
why he probably ends up with like Julie the producer but now like I don't know yo I'm starting
to think that he ends up with Julie the producer again because if Madison's still there and it's
Madison and Hannah Ann does Matt does Madison leave does she now leave? I don't like that you said that
he said are you sure like are you sure I already fucking said yes like don't don't don't don't ask me if
I'm sure if I said yeah like I'm not a baby like yeah like if I want to do it like I'm doing it I'm
here you know well at that point I felt like I would have been like well yeah or
Or maybe not.
See, I would have said, am I sure?
No.
I'll be like, I'm sure that I want to give this a little bit more time, but I'm no, I'm not sure that I want to end up with you.
Yeah, that's a good way to put it.
But yeah, like now if you're asking, I don't know, really, but sure.
All right.
Well, Victoria F leaves, and it wasn't honestly as dramatic as you would expect from Victoria F,
because, like, we all see that she, you know, she sometimes can't articulate her feelings into words.
and she gets really stunted in those moments.
I think she gets flustered.
She gets flustered, which I think, like, we can relate on, right?
Yeah, we all get flustered.
I get it, but, like, she gets, like, almost a little bit, like, nasty.
She got, like, there's a little toad, a little tone.
She said, I don't want to hear it or something like that.
But for the most part, it wasn't as dramatic of a goodbye as we thought we could have gotten from Victoria F,
which is just fine.
It's great.
She actually handled it quite well.
And then she handled herself quite well on Women Tell All.
She didn't get involved in any.
I mean, I know that she definitely was being careful.
They were like, hey, if you want to come across good after those allegations,
and after like your emotion or turmoil throughout the season,
you should probably just stay quiet.
But she stayed quiet and she came across really nice, like very pleasant.
Okay, she needed that.
Yeah, she did.
So way to go, Victoria F.
And who else was a standout?
Okay, so Tammy doesn't apologize to Kelsey or McKenna for the.
the emotion shaming.
What do you think about that?
She probably just should have straight up
apologized. Just say sorry.
Just say sorry.
What is it going to get you not saying sorry?
Again, like, after that day,
like, your drama doesn't matter.
So just say sorry.
Put it to bed there.
Yeah, like no one's ever going to talk about this again.
It's going nowhere.
You're not gaining anything from it.
No, and you know what's going to get you
a round of applause from the audience?
Sorry.
If you go, hey, I'm sorry, you know what?
I'm actually, I've never been in an environment where I've seen people process their emotions differently than I.
And it's something that I'm going to need to get more comfortable with.
That would have been, boom, it.
Done.
Agreed.
I did meet Tammy afterward doing access interviews, and I found her very pleasant.
She was funny and quirky, just the way that we all thought she was the first couple weeks of the season.
But again, like, you watch and you're just like...
they're not going to get married like why is she still here oh my god i don't know what what you just said
that made me feel like this was a huge part of women tell all kelly wasn't there and everybody's like
why wasn't kelly there well i can tell you Kelly wasn't invited why i don't know i don't know the
reason i know that she wasn't invited i don't know the reason why she wasn't invited wait
Kelly didn't just remind me really quick for a sec
because there's Kelly and Kelsey and I kept confusing.
Kelly is the lawyer that he met prior to the season.
Oh, Kelly. Yeah. Oh, my God. She wasn't there.
No, so when I asked Chris Harrison this on the podcast last week,
he goes, well, that's because Kelly, I mean,
Kelly wasn't a huge part of our storyline. And I go,
I'm not going to call Chris Harrison out on BS,
but that's a little bit of BS because she was a big character.
And she had quite a storyline with P.
having gone from meeting him beforehand
to being early on a girl that the girls didn't like
because she had that advantage.
And then she just seemed like she wasn't really
into the whole bachelor process.
And I think it's because she wasn't into the bachelor process
and maybe didn't, wasn't as chummy with the producers
or production that she wasn't invited.
This is just a rumor, hearsay, and personal opinion.
It's always the girls that are like,
you know, I just can't really deal with you like kissing
or like dating other women.
Then why did you come?
come on the show bitch well that's why well a couple of the girls i feel like madison and hannah and
have both been like um dude i've been doing a lot i've been sacrifice you know i've been i've been
watching you with other girls and this isn't easy for me but but like you but i don't know i don't
that doesn't fly never once when i was on the show never one time was i like like the only
thing i think i said which actually they aired was like oh man that kind of sucks but like i'm not
going to like sit there and pout and like threaten to leave because of it like I knew exactly what
I was signing up for like go have your time girl go have your moment you do this he's going to pick
who he wants and that is it yeah to say that like if you have a problem with that just sorry like
don't go on the show I don't care if you want to be insta famous don't go on the show yeah stupid
all right you said it Natasha also wasn't there and I I know from a source close to Natasha
that she was invited
but couldn't go.
Couldn't go?
Couldn't go.
What does that mean?
Women tell all.
Who can't go?
To their women tell all?
I'm sorry.
The only thing is if you're like
a bridesmaid in a wedding
like it's like that big of a wedding for you.
Uh-uh.
I'm canceling the wedding, honey.
I'm showing up to that recording
and saying my peace of mind.
Mm-hmm.
And then of course there's like the death in the family.
Those are two reasons.
That is completely acceptable.
I would not go.
But I don't think that was it.
I don't think that wasn't either.
Yeah, I think she would have said.
She would have said.
I'm sorry that I can't make it tonight, guys.
Blah, blah, blah.
Yeah, has passed away.
So when I had first seen, you know, when I was there and I saw that Kelly and Natasha both weren't there, I was like, oh, man, they didn't want Kelly there.
So therefore, they didn't invite Natasha to make it seem more normal that Kelly wasn't there.
That wasn't the case.
That is weird.
Yeah.
The secrets of the pet.
I know.
So I guess we can cross Kelly off the list.
for paradise or she wasn't invited for women to women tell all yeah but how are they not going to invite
kelly to parody i don't know well if she wasn't at women tell all she's not going to paradise you're
absolutely right what am i saying i also think that the reason that kelly couldn't be there is um i don't
know if you remember the day that she was eliminated it was the three on one and i didn't bring up on
the podcast because i wasn't watching it closely enough that she was like frank and bitten do you
remember you know what that word is no it means that they like use her quotes and they like
completely edit them together, like they edit a sentence together, like, I am a lawyer and
they like go back in like the library and try to like really piece together sentences.
Do they really? They did that to her? So that's what people are saying when they watch that episode
really closely that she looks like she was so highly edited. So I'm thinking that maybe if she was
there on the woman tell all stage, she would just be like, I was edited. Like there's no drama
with me. I never, I never said that because I actually never said that. Yeah. No, I mean,
there was one time that that did happen to me on the show and that was when I Taylor got sent home on our 2-1-1 date and I was at dinner with Nick and I was talking to Nick and Taylor walked in and I didn't say anything.
I looked at Nick and I was like and they put in there, what the hell is she doing here?
And I was like, that did not happen.
I did not say that.
I knew she was going to come back.
It's so bachelory that she came back.
Yeah.
And I, whatever.
So bachelory that she came back.
It was so bachelory.
Um, all right.
Well, I think that's all I really wanted to talk about with, with, um, women tell all, except for the serious, the serious stuff, which is the bullying that Rachel came on to talk about.
She read some tweets, some Instagram direct messages that some of the girls got.
And they're horrific.
You know, they're not, it's not criticism.
as Chris Harrison said, it's straight up hate and it needs to stop.
I mean, it's been going around forever.
Like the girls from the season?
Yeah.
Like people just like hate messaging them?
Yes.
I mean, it's, it's nothing new.
No, it's not.
And it's, it is something that should be talked about.
I mean, I got a message once that literally was like, like literally just kill yourself.
Yeah, I know.
That was one of the ones that was read last night.
Yeah.
Like you should literally kill yourself.
You are disgusting.
Yeah.
And I was like, all right.
it's just so it's wild it's insane and it really gets to you for a while until you just like you just hit a point one day where you're just like okay I really just can't care about this like this does not matter but for some people it's not like that and like really is like dangerous and like not okay I agree with you I was kind of like you like I really did have a thick skin about it and it would get to me in the moment on that day and I would like rant about it vent about it to my friends and family but it never like it got to my heart but of course like for a lot of people it's going to get to their
heart and it's going to affect their whole psyche and it's just so crazy we said it so many times
but these are real people you are seeing parts of their story a small part of their personality
you aren't seeing all 24-7 of the filming you are not getting to know them in real life
the fact that you can get on your phone and message these crazy things I just I don't know
who these people are out there, and I can't believe they exist.
I can't believe that, like, someone would feel okay.
Like, I could never send them a, like, no.
I mean, and it affects us, like, it really does.
Like, if you're listening out there and you've sent a hate message, like, you should
just know that it really does affect us.
Like, no matter what you say, like, if you say, like, to a girl, like, you're fat or you're
ugly or, like, you should die.
Like, it's, like, very, it's not just saying those words.
Like, it really does affect people.
and can really like ruin someone's life it's not it's not something that should ever be like
taken lightly no yeah like i mean like you're like me like we're small people and like i'll get
messages that are like literally like you're fat you're fat and i literally went through like a psycho like
wouldn't eat wouldn't like even like god forbid i touched a french fry like and like i wasn't fat and like
I was happy with my body and I just like went into this like crazy like thing and it was it like
made me depressed and just like and I was just like I need to stop like listening to people. I need to
listen to my body and like I was just I was like frail on my couch. I couldn't even like get up and that's
when like I was just like nope and I started just eating whatever I wanted and I've never been happier.
Go for it. It's always your happiest place when you're eating whatever you want.
All right. Well, we're going to actually get somebody on the line who was bullied a lot.
during their season, got a lot of hate from Bachelor Nation, but who has since become somebody
that we've all voted for.
Courtney Robertson is on the podcast next, but first, we've got to take a break.
My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious.
Wait a minute, Sam.
Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.
Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon.
This person writes, my boyfriend has been hanging out with.
his young professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. Now he's
insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone. Now hold up, isn't that
against school policy? That sounds totally inappropriate. Well, according to this person,
this is her boyfriend's former professor and they're the same age. And it's even more likely
that they're cheating. He insists there's nothing between them. I mean, do you believe him?
Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him because he now wants them both
to meet. So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not?

Hey, Corny. It's Ashley and Corinne.
Oh, hey. How's it going?
We're great. How are you?
I'm super.
You are pregnant and engaged, which we are so happy for you. Yay.
But before we get into that, I just wanted to ask you your opinion on
Madison accepting Peter's Rose at the beginning of last night's episode.
You know, it was a little week, I thought.
I was like, I don't know.
This is on shaky ground.
I feel like she might be leaving soon.
I just think it was crazy.
We talked about this already, but we just feel like what was the change of heart?
Was it an act of forgiveness or was it I just need more time?
you know I think she's probably in love with them but I just I mean something had to
been done maybe she went thinking she was going to talk to him but and then what if she would
have said no and then I'm thinking like would Victoria have stayed yeah I don't know because
then you have been like oh okay so consolation prize mm-hmm yeah that would have been really weird
then it would have been like all right Hannah Ann here here it is this is it
Let's do it.
That would have been funny.
All right.
So you are engaged to, okay, tell me the name of your, your fiancé.
I cannot say it.
Humberto?
Umberto, yeah.
Humberto, uh, Preceit.
Preciato.
That's a beautiful name when you can know, when you know how to say it.
I know.
Thank you.
I saw you and congratulated me on one of your other podcasts.
And I was like, I should tell her how to say his name.
But I like it.
It's going to be, it's going to be my last name.
name too so oh my gosh i am so thrilled for you you finally found your guy and you're in your
you're pregnant how many months are you i am uh well i guess i you know i'm trying to go by week
so i'm 24 weeks so i've got about four months left how's the pregnancy going so far you know
so far so good um just like fatigue in the first trimester but no morning sickness knock on wood
And, you know, Ashley, we're, like, planning a wedding and we just bought a house.
It closed the end of the month.
So I'm, like, nesting.
It's, like, a lot all at once, you know, just planning a wedding and, you know, being pregnant.
So it's just a really exciting time.
How did you guys meet?
So he had liked a photo mine on Instagram and I, like, clicked on his page and I was, like,
ready to date.
I had, you know, dated somebody for a while.
Um, and then I was kind of like ready to put myself back out there and I was like, let's just look on Instagram and he was like, this guy lives in Phoenix. He's cute. So I sent him a DM and I thought I knew him from somewhere because I recognize his name and a friend of mine who I'm no longer friends with had had dated him like 10 years ago. So and his name is so unique. So I was like, oh, okay. It took me a couple of days to figure that out. But yeah, we went out and.
I mean, it just was just seamless.
It's just been really a really good fit.
I'm glad I waited.
Courtney, Claire was announced as The Bachelor today.
How exciting is this for you as this is like a girl from your class, your generation of The Bachelor?
I know.
I've done a couple of charity events of Claire.
I like her.
She's a sweetheart.
I got to give it to her.
She's much braver.
And I don't think I could do it at this stage in life or at this age.
just because of the hate and just the pressure of being in a public relationship.
But I'm so excited.
I think it's going to be totally refreshing and add new layers to the show because, I mean,
she's really ready to settle down.
She's at the age, you know, where she's, you know,
I think she's going to ask like the hard hitting questions right away.
And she's just a doll.
So I think I think America will be rooting for her.
yeah i always say that like the right reasons for going on the show is like kind of silly right like
i hate that expression i always say like you should go on for the experience for growing um you know
self-growth um making friends going to new places all that stuff but with with claire what's awesome
is that like it couldn't be more for the right reasons like this woman everything is secondary
except for finding her person exactly and then i'm like one thing i'm like hoping
the show is like, you know, they've got to throw a couple of monkey wrenches in there,
but I just am really hoping, I just hope she picks somebody that's close to her age
because it's so fun to date somebody who's like close in age with you.
And, you know, I just, I think 28 to 38 is like a huge, huge age gap, you know.
Yeah.
So that's my only concern, you know, it's going to be, there's going to be like a, if there's
a lot of young guys there, that's going to be a little tricky, I think.
Yeah, I mean, can you imagine like a 40-year-old on the show, though?
That would be amazing.
Like a 42-year-old.
Like, hi, I'm Max, and I'm 42.
You know, it actually isn't that far off to what it used to be.
And, you know, Rachel Lindsay's husband, Brian, just turned 40.
Yeah.
Isn't that crazy?
Oh, that's amazing.
That makes me happy.
I thought he was younger than her for some reason.
I wouldn't.
No, no.
I think he's like three years older than her.
Oh, more than three years.
Because she's, what, 34?
I think so I'm going to use this opportunity to say that I'm assuming here I think that they're still looking for people for Claire season even though I believe Claire season will start filming in about two weeks so if you guys out there listening think that you have some amazing candidates for The Bachelorette somebody in their 30s or 40s who is so willing just so wanting to find someone send in their pictures in a little bio I mean
we have some hookups to production.
We can forward along some of these applications.
We need really high-quality men.
Like old-school romantics.
Like put the woman first.
Like opening the door, bringing flowers, writing cards, kind of guy.
You know?
Yeah.
Yes.
Somebody who also isn't like an Instagram.
I think they should get people who like don't even like normal guys like that don't
even have Instagram.
Yeah.
Like a guy that's like, oh man, I never go.
into Instagram you know those kids these days oh my gosh what if they said in casting they're like
what's your Instagram handle and then they only selected the guys that said I don't have one oh
that would be amazing that would make the best season ever that would be cool all right well Courtney
congratulations again we are so happy for you and we'll have you on again once the baby is born
yay thanks so much have a good luck thank you bye

Hola, it's HoneyGerman, and my podcast,
Grazie's Come Again, is back.
This season, we're going even deeper,
into the world of music and entertainment
with raw and honest conversations
with some of your favorite Latin artists and celebrities.
You didn't have to audition?
No, I didn't audition.
I haven't audition in like over 25 years.
Oh, wow.
That's a real G-talk right there.
Oh, yeah.
We've got some of the biggest actors,
musicians, content creators,
and culture shifters
sharing their real stories of failure and success.
You were destined to be a start.
We talk all about what's viral and trending
with a little bit of chisement, a lot of laughs,
and those amazing Vibras you've come to expect.
And, of course, we'll explore deeper topics
dealing with identity, struggles,
and all the issues affecting our Latin community.
You feel like you get a little whitewash
because you have to do the code switching?
I won't say whitewash because at the end of the day, you know, I'm me.
But the whole pretending and code, you know, it takes a toll on you.

we have another caller and for that caller ben higgins is again on the line this is julie from
sacramento she's going to be talking about how thrilled sacramento is today about getting
the bachelorette from their town we are hey julie it's ben ashley and karenne we're pumped
to have you on here. We've got to talk
Claire Crawley. Let's first off say
is Sacramento
Jacked right now about the next
Batsurret? I think so. I think
everybody's going to be pretty much fired up
to show it off.
And it's kind of a big
city, but everybody kind of knows
everybody. So
people run into Claire all
around town, so I think it's going to be fun
for everyone. Well, it's not
uncommon when a Batsurret
is from a specific
region or city, and they've been there a while for the show to go and visit.
So I have a feeling Sacramento will be on the big screen soon.
I want to discuss, and I'm going to throw it over to you, Ashley and Corrin and Julie.
The one topic that is being brought up that I think is really interesting is, you know,
recently, not that long ago, Ari, who was a past contestant from a season, was a little older,
was announced as a Bachelor, and it didn't work out very well for the show.
So all of you together, and I know you have some strong feelings on this, why will Claire work out for the show when Ari didn't?
What's the difference?
Well, I'll just jump in there.
I think that Ari didn't work out for the show because, yeah, he was older, but regardless of being older, I just don't think he had the personality.
I don't think it had to do with his age.
I think from what I can see from Claire, he's, I mean, she's super cool and she really just wants to find her person.
and Ari didn't come across as like,
oh my God, I want to find my person.
Well, I think you have it right
with a dynamic personality on TV.
You need one.
Claire has one.
Ari doesn't necessarily have one.
And also, we've been following Claire's journey for so long.
She's been on four seasons.
So we've really attached ourselves to her storyline.
So even though it was 2014 that she was on The Bachelor,
we still have followed her story.
She's still, like, in our minds.
She's relevant.
Well, and I think, too, she's super likable.
I think she's always been likable and relatable.
And I'm just excited that she's, I think she's going to be, what, 39?
The fact that she is, and that's 39 is not that old.
I'm 50, and I've been watching this from the beginning.
And to watch it evolve to someone that is older,
I love it
because I think she's going to bring with it
experience that these days
as I watch it, they are
obviously getting younger
so I'm not as excited to watch it
they're almost my daughter's age
so I
love that
you know
the men are going to be older
I mean we're probably going to get to men
in their 40s right
I mean my husband's four years older than me
so I like there's going to be men that maybe
are divorced, men that
have kids. So it's going to bring a whole
new dynamic. Hey, Julie.
And yeah. You mentioned
that it's a big city,
but everybody kind of knows each other.
Does Claire have a reputation around
there beyond what she
has on the show? And when I say reputation, I mean
it in a good way. You know, not as
like a wrap. Yeah, no. You know, in fact,
we've seen her. She's, I think
I've heard nothing other than
positive. And I've seen
her. I know that a lot of my friends and their kids have seen her at like the local high schools.
She'll show up there, and she's so happy to take pictures with, you know, all the kids.
I've actually seen her at a few of the local hangouts, you know, bars, and she's always, you know,
keeps herself together. I would say there's nothing negative to say about her at all.
She's always very sweet and kind to anyone and whoever comes in and talks to her.
So I'd say her reputation is nothing but the best.
Awesome.
So I think she'll represent Sacramento well.
Well, Julie, thanks for coming on the podcast.
We appreciate it.
And we all hope that Sacramento is represented super well here coming up soon.
Okay, thanks.

Hey, sis, what if I could promise you you never had to listen to a condescending finance, bro, tell you how to manage your money again.
Welcome to Brown Ambition.
This is the hard part when you pay down those credit cards.
If you haven't gotten to the bottom of why you were racking up credit or turning to credit cards, you may just recreate the same problem a year from now.
When you do feel like you are bleeding from these high interest.
rates. I would start shopping for a debt consolidation loan, starting with your local credit union,
shopping around online, looking for some online lenders because they tend to have fewer fees and
be more affordable. Listen, I am not here to judge. It is so expensive in these streets. I 100% can see
how in just a few months you can have this much credit card debt when it weighs on you. It's really
easy to just like stick your head in the sand. It's nice and dark in the sand. Even if it's scary,
it's not going to go away just because you're avoiding it. And in fact, it may get it.
even worse. For more judgment-free money advice, listen to Brown Ambition on the Iheart
radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Today is a podcast full of guests because this is how the end of the year always works for
us. When a season is coming down, we want to hear everybody's opinions, we want to take
in everybody's opinions, we're going to bring them on the podcast because this almost
famous family just continues to grow. Speaking of a growing family, we have Kevin
Mano on the line who is married to Ali Fittatowski.
We know her as Ali Fittatowski.
He is a massive, massive radio host for IHeartRadio's Valentine in the morning.
He began dating Ali in 2013.
Married in March of 2017 has kids, Molly, and Riley.
Kevin, welcome once again to the Almost Famous Podcast.
Well, hi, guys.
Thanks for having me.
Thank you for being here.
So, Allie documented something.
That was what she called super embarrassing last week.
You guys were at the Fairmont in Hawaii, and your son, Riley Doran, had an accident in the hotel pool.
Can you explain it a little bit further what happened?
I mean, that's a pretty good explanation of what happened.
And, yeah, it's still very embarrassing.
The fact that it's, you know, made press and now I'm talking to you guys about it, the embarrassment continues.
But basically, I'll tell you the story from my point of view.
I wasn't even there for this.
I was down at the beach with our daughter, Molly.
She and I were building sand castles or whatever, and we came back up.
And all of the pools were closed.
I walked up to the beach and saw them.
They all had signs on them and ropes across the ladders and stuff.
And I kind of panicked at first because I didn't see Allie and I didn't see Riley.
And my mom and Allie's mom were both out there with us.
So I went over to my mom and I was like, what's going on?
And she's like, okay, Kevin, don't worry.
Everybody's fine.
But I was like, oh, my God, what happened?
Did Riley go under?
You know what I mean?
Like, I didn't know what happened.
Oh, my gosh.
And then she said, Riley pooped in the pool.
And they had to shut everything down.
Like this resort, you know, those resorts like that, all of their pools are connected.
So they closed all of the pools.
They had to, you know, however they treat it, it required all of the pools to be shut down for like two hours.
And this is a packed, huge, beautiful resort in Hawaii.
So it was wildly embarrassing.
And yes, I mean, I wasn't there when it actually happened, but I could see where it happened.
it was right there.
Allie also went on to say that he had runny as F poops, and it all leaked out of his swim diaper.
The whole thing is that the reason you're here is because Ali got really mommy shamed on Instagram for it.
Can you tell us more about that?
I mean, well, first of all, yes, I'm glad you pointed out the diaper thing because a lot of people were like, oh, your baby wasn't wearing a diaper.
He was in the pool without a diaper.
No, he was wearing a diaper.
A water resistant one.
Exactly, exactly. So when we flew out there, you know, how sometimes travel will mess with your body's natural schedule. And Riley was a bit backed up for a couple of days. So even the days leading up to this accident, we were, Ali was on her social media saying like, hey, anybody got any tips to get my baby to poop? And so we were like force feeding him raisins for days, really trying to generate everything. And it worked. It worked. So just like his, you know, being a little backed up. And then I guess the, the, the, the,
heat of the water and it just all kind of created this consistency that was
able to seep through the diaper but I will say also in our defense the resort was like
thank you so much for telling us most people don't even say anything like they're
people poop in the pool and they'll just leave it there that's disgusting I remember as a kid
I would be I remember that like the pool that I would go to always had a floater and I was like a
third grader that was petrified
of the poopy pool, I basically wouldn't go in
because they were always fishing something out.
And I was like, I can't do this.
I was a germ afloat by nine years old.
If there was always a turd floating in the pool,
I probably wouldn't go in either.
Yeah.
Anyway, well, thanks for sharing the story.
Is there anything else you want to tell us about it?
I mean, you know, I think it was a learning experience for all of us
and it'll be a story for years.
I hope that Riley, when he's like old enough, you know,
to go to school and his classmates to Google, whatever.
this isn't the first thing that pops up
because that could really probably
lead to some bullying I would guess
that he's a pool pooper and it made news
all over the world
but yeah I mean it was you know it was
a couple hours later the pool was open and stuff but as we
were gathering all of our stuff to walk away
some guy and his kid came walking
up to the pool with their towels and their bathing suits
and like hey what happened I was like no idea
I don't know it
couldn't tell you so we kind of just got out of
there quickly
Kevin, fill us in a little bit.
I know there's some things going on in your life.
You're busy right now.
You're still working for High Heart Radio.
You've been on our podcast before.
You've actually been on a podcast before you were a father.
How is dad life?
How is the career going?
And then finally, can you fill us in a little bit on how Allie is doing?
I know she came out recently and encouraged everybody get checked for skin cancer,
which I did.
I actually really went and did it.
It was, I was on GMA, actually, the morning that she was.
And so I saw it and I said, I've got to go do that.
I haven't done it in a while.
Can you fill us in on all those really important things going on in your life?
Well, first of all, that's great, Ben.
I'm glad to hear that you did that.
Man, everything is so great.
I really cannot complain.
I feel truly like the luckiest guy in the world.
I mean, not only did we just get back from this amazing trip to Hawaii
and our moms were able to go.
And, of course, I'm biased, but I think that our kids are just the best in the world.
They're so sweet.
They're so smart.
Molly and Riley both, they are just the best.
And Allie and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary this week.
So, you know, we're extra love you with each other.
And it's just things are good, dude.
And I mean, my schedule, you know, you mentioned it earlier.
I do the morning show with Valentine, Valentine in the morning out here in Los Angeles.
I love waking up early.
I'm up at 3.30 every morning.
Oh, my goodness.
I'm home by 11, though.
I'm home by 11, 11.30 every day to, you know, to be with my kids and watch them grow
up. And I just feel like I couldn't possibly be any happier or luckier than I am right now. And I'm
not just saying that. I'm thankful for it every day, just for all of it. That's awesome, man. Hey,
congratulations on everything good going on in your life. We're celebrating you all. We're celebrating
Allie. We're celebrating the kids. Thanks for coming on the podcast again. And to anybody out there
listening, if a kid poops in the pool, let's not make it a bigger deal than it is. It's just an
accident. And we've all been there.
Yes, thank you.
When you say we've all been there, are you admitting to pooping in pools?
Oh, I'm sure there's been a time in my life.
I was a big swimmer, Kevin.
I had spent my whole childhood in a pool.
I bet if we pulled back some old stories at least once in my life, I've made a big mistake.
Okay, good deal.
Thank you for admitting that.
You're a good man.
Oh, that's funny.
Thanks, Kevin.
Appreciate it, buddy.
All right, I talk to you guys later.
Thank you.
professor is way too friendly and now
I'm seriously suspicious. Well, wait a minute, Sam,
maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra
credit. Well, Dakota, it's back to school week
on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find
out soon. This person writes, my boyfriend
has been hanging out with his young professor
a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem,
but I don't trust her. Now he's insisting
we get to know each other, but I just want her gone.
Now, hold up. Isn't that against
school policy? That sounds totally
inappropriate. Well, according to this person, this is her
boyfriend's former professor and
they're the same age. It's even more.
More likely that they're cheating.
He insists there's nothing between them.
I mean, do you believe him?
Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him
because he now wants them both to meet.
So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not?

Imagine that you're on an airplane and all of a sudden you hear this.
Attention passengers.
The pilot is having an emergency and we need someone, anyone.
Think you could do it?
It turns out that nearly 50% of men think that they could land the plane with the help of air traffic control.
And they're saying like, okay, pull this, and so this, pull that, turn this.
It's just, I can do my icecloth.
I'm Manny.
I'm Noah.

What would you do if one bad decision forced you to choose between a maximum security prison
or the most brutal boot camp designed to be hell on earth?
Unfortunately for Mark Lombardo, this was the choice he faced.
He said, you are a number, a New York State number, and we own you.
Shock incarceration, also known as boot camps, are short-term, highly regimented correctional programs that mimic military basic training.
These programs aim to provide a shock of prison life, emphasizing strict discipline, physical training, hard labor, and rehabilitation programs.
Mark had one chance to complete this program
and had no idea of the hell awaiting him the next six months.
The first night was so overwhelming
and you don't know who's next to you.
And we didn't know what to expect in the morning.
Nobody tells you anything.

My dog.
Karinja said that her dog was in the pool once.
yeah we've all been there i mean i can't remember i have peed
in multiple pools in my life everybody pees everybody
if you say you don't pee in a pool yeah okay i don't really i don't know if i really ever
peeing in a pool oh my god shut up yes you did it's a natural feeling and then when
you're little you're just like yeah no one will notice and then it's like all yellow around
girl you have been uh you've been a fantastic co-host today
Ben, why don't you tell everyone what's going on with her on March 8th?
Yeah, well, Corinne Olympios is a fan favorite in Bachelor Nation.
She was polarizing, transcendent.
She came off of Nick Files' season as somebody that we all were intrigued by.
We wanted to learn more.
We couldn't figure Corinne out.
Was she a villain?
Was she not?
Was she just, like, unique and funny and fun?
Well, we're finding out that she's actually just super funny.
she's headlining the Irvine Improv Sunday show March 8th.
You get tickets right now at Improv.com.
Again, that's headlining the Irvine Improv, which is Sunday, March 8.
Corinne Olympios.
Cren, tell us all about it.
Oh, my goodness.
Just hearing you say that, honestly, is so surreal.
This is so exciting for me on so many levels.
I mean, this is like I live for making people laugh.
And this has been a dream of mine for so long.
And just to like be able to.
go and like just talk with people, fans and you know from all over or even just from Irvine or
whatever like I'm so thankful and so excited and it's going to be a really, really fun time.
I have such a good like show in store for all of you guys who are coming and I'm just I'm just like
literally jumping out of my skin. Post-batchel franchise. Corinne, you made waves in the fashion world
with Team Corn Clothing, which is aligned by Riot Society.
And then you signed on with Irwin Entertainment here in 2019 with your podcast.
And now you're doing improv, which you just talked about.
Ashley and I've talked about it on the podcast before, how hard improv will be.
Ashley, I know that you're intrigued to follow up here with a few questions about what exactly should we expect.
Yeah, what made you get into improv?
Well, it's, I mean, I do stand up.
Okay, standprop.
Yeah, you're right.
How have you gotten into stand-up?
Well.
Like how much practice did it take,
and how many times did you just show up at a comedy club
and just do it without being announced?
Okay, so interesting thing is that I kind of forced my team
into letting me do my first show, which was a tight five.
Oh, five minutes.
A tight five minutes, which is like when you get up there,
you do really quick five minutes your jokes.
So those are super calculated.
So we kind of had just like one week.
to like kind of come up with like
a Corinne theme type five
and everyone was kind of really stressed about it
and didn't really want to do it at first
but we got it together and it went so well
I booked Comedy Store four times in a row
just from that one show.
No way! The comedy store you guys is like
the biggest comedy club, the one
that all the A-list comedians go to.
Jeremy Piven, David Spade, they also performed there like
and so I booked just from that one show
that I like made my team let me do
I booked that and I did I've been doing really well like people were coming up to me like
you were like wow you did such a good job was like thank this was my first time ever and like literally
like the like the headliners of that show were like what that's amazing that was your first time ever
and I just really got my stuff together and and did it and I followed my heart and so then I kind
of went to my team at my agency gersh and I was like guys like I put me on for
a headline. Like, I can do it. I can do it. I can do it. So that's what you're doing
this again for the first time you're headlining it. Yep. And I kind of forced it. It's kind of coming
really much quicker than I expected, but I've been working my butt off day and night to like really
get a good show together. And I think it's going to be awesome. How long you could be on stage here?
An hour. An hour. Time five to an hour. Yeah.
Whoa. Well, if you're in the L.A. Irvine area, you can get tickets at
improv.com. I think we're going to have to come to see you.
You have to come. Amanda's coming. Some other people are coming. It'll be fun. You're also revamping your podcast. You had one and then you signed off of it and now you're doing a new one, correct? Yes. I am doing a new podcast with Irwin Entertainment. It's going to be called villains and scandals. And it's kind of like, you know, exactly what Ben said before. You guys couldn't really figure me out. It was like, is Corinna villain? Is she just like speaking the truth? Like is she saying what we're all thinking type of thing?
And it's going to be kind of like what's going on in pop culture right now.
Like, all right, is this like fake news or is this like what actually like everyone is thinking type of thing?
Yeah.
And then we're going to have different segments kind of like, we're going to do this thing where it's like uncanceled and word of the day.
It's just going to be a really fun show.
I hated my other show.
For those of you that did listen to it, thank you.
Ashley, thank you for coming on.
It just wasn't me.
It was super calculated and produced.
And it just, I just needed to have more creative control.
And that's what I'm getting with this next show.
And I'm so happy.
I also like the way that you are so separated from the franchise at this point,
that, like, you are shameless about talking smack when it's time to talk smack.
You know what I mean?
Like, you were just, like, kind of, you're more of comedian than you are contestant at this point.
And that's what people get confused about.
Like, people are like, what is Corinne?
And, like, I'm like, I'm a comedian.
Like, that is what I am.
I'm a comedian.
And I think people are now learning that.
and I'm getting a lot more respect from other comedians,
which is also super cool.
And I think the world of comedy is way more welcoming to me,
like the Corinne Olympias character, quote, unquote,
than the reality TV world.
Got it.
So that's kind of where I'm at in entertainment right now.
The interesting thing, though, Corin, and you said it,
and I don't want to just gloss over it,
is because you haven't always been a comedian.
You didn't go on the Bachelor franchise.
We've talked about it throughout this episode on intentions.
To be a comedian, it's just you're funny,
you can captivate an audience.
This has been a new thing.
And I don't want to gloss over some words that you said at the very beginning of this,
which made me smile.
You said you like doing this stand-up or this improv,
and you're excited to headline it because you just enjoy being in front of people
and making people smile.
I think that right there will just translate to an amazing show
that I hope people come to because that's the intentions we're looking for.
You're coming here just to make people smile on March 8th.
Again, that's at the Irvine Improv at Sunday, March 8th.
You can get tickets at Improv.com.
Corinne, step up there.
You're going to do great.
I'm pumped.
I wouldn't even be half nervous watching you.
I just have full confidence that you're going to crush the show.
Wow.
I wish you could see the smile I have on my face right now.
You're making me, like, feel so excited and happy, and that really means a lot.
I really appreciate that.
And thank you so, so much.
I'm so excited.
Big deal.
Thanks.
Well, hey, Corinne, you've been awesome.
Ashley and I love.
you, thanks for coming on, and we will be tracking to see how this show goes. If I can't make it,
unfortunately, I'm on the road in some random city in the country right now, but Ashley might be
there cheering you on, but it's not, hey, the almost famous podcast family just wishes you the best.
Thank you guys so much. Thank you for having me. You guys are awesome. And I really love seeing you
in this role. It just feels really natural. Thank you.
I loved having Karen here to recap women tell all.
I'm so sad that you couldn't be on there, Ben.
It's, we've got to figure out a way.
We can.
I mean, it's just one of those things, Ash.
It's like, hey, you know, we're out in front of Bachelor Nation right now.
We're on Bachelor Live on stage.
Sometimes cities are going to be better than others, but we knew this is the risk going
into it.
But I get sad and just disappointed and frustrated why I can't be there talking with
you each week. I know. Me too. But hey, Domus'n's family, we miss you, we'll love you, we'll
keep talking to you. We ain't leaving you anytime soon. In fact, Ashley, I feel like we should
just like start doing more shows, right? Like, I just feel like there's more and more to talk about
these days. Well, there are more shows coming out than ever before. There's The Bachelor,
there's The Bachelor's Listen to Your Harked, and then there's going to be the Bachelor's Summer Games.
So, yeah, it would make sense if we did add a couple episodes, a couple extra ones in there each month.
I think so too
Hey
Anyways, we'll talk about it
We'll think about it
But for this week
We're over
We're done
We're out of here
Until next week
I've been Ben
I've been Ashley
