Welcome back to Kind of Famous. I'm Deanna Pappas. And I am here with my producer, Heather,
and we are at the end. I can't even believe it's here. Let's marry Harry. I think really what I've
gathered is that Heather is marrying Harry. That's what it's come to. But it happened so fast. I'm sad,
but I am really, really looking forward to the reunion. And everybody, you should know,
spoiler, spoiler, spoiler, spoiler. We are going to be talking about the ending of the end.
of this season. We will be talking about it in depth. I could skip this whole episode and get to that,
Heather, but we, you know, I digress. Yeah, we will be talking about the ending. And we're also
going to, obviously, because the finale aired just a couple of days ago, we're also going to be
talking about some of the stuff that we've seen on the internet. We're not going to spoil a whole lot
of things because obviously speak for yourself, Heather. Well, we live on the internet probably a little bit
more than the average viewer. And we also want people to tune into the reunion. I know I do.
But there's definitely a couple of things I want to point out that we shared and saw on the
internet, including some audio from somebody in Bachelor Nation that will play towards the end of this
episode. But go ahead. You can kick it off with our first one. Yeah. You know what? I told you,
what did I text you a couple of nights ago? I hate to be spoiled because if I'm going to invest in
something, I want to be able to be able to watch it in real time for myself. And I think I texted you two or three
nights ago and I was so pissed because I was scrolling at the same time and I had to zip by real
fast because I saw a picture of the finale and I was so pissed because up until that moment I genuinely
did not know and I had been tried to avoid all things and then I ended up seeing a photo of the finale
episode and I was like genuinely angry like why can't people just like tone it down a level for
just a minute. Yeah I mean I saw it before we even started recapping so I feel like I've kept it
pretty neutral on my feelings. You've done a great job. I think that I've grown to love Harry.
Yes. I've grown to love him. Yeah. And I think watching this, I texted you and we'll get into it.
But Harry and I have more things in common. So I really do think that I'm in love with Harry after watching this.
That's the ending of the show. Heather marries Harry. It's cute, though. I thought it was overall.
I thought it was a cute show, not too serious.
and we'll get into, I guess there's a lot of discourse on the internet now since the finale,
I don't really partake in that. And I'm also, I don't think it's that deep. I mean, it is,
but it's not, you know, we're talking about a marriage at the end of this, which you would be like,
that's serious, that's serious. Somehow I'm not that seriously invested in the outcome. I'm kind of like
either or is a good option to me. I don't like drama.
like I don't like drama at all in my normal life.
So to see some of this stuff on social media from the girls,
I'm not that invested in it.
I kind of'm like, okay, do tell me more because I'm human.
But I'm also just like, I don't know, you guys,
I just don't.
Part of me is a very realist human being
and the other part is a delusional, hopeless romantic.
Like I'm like cut in half most days.
And that realistic part of me is like,
girls, come on, you went on a show.
that was called Let's Marry Harry.
You were going on to date, Harry Jousey.
I didn't know who he was,
but like you'd take a quick dive down the Google
and like I got into episode one
and I was like, he's still in his F-boy era.
You know, like, it's just not, I'm with you.
It's not that serious.
It's not.
And I think that the feelings could be serious,
but I don't, I don't know.
I just, I think that it's very strange
and I think that people should really
check their moral compass if you feel compelled to write nasty things on the internet about
strangers that you don't even know that you've watched for a couple episodes of a TV show.
Like, you're actually the weirdo if you're doing stuff like that.
Like, sorry to tell you this, but you're weird if you're writing nasty comments to some
woman in her early 30s who you saw go on a reality TV dating show that you, in reality
do not know.
I've never, ever understood it.
I did myself a solid.
You'll be pretty proud of me this time, though.
I did myself a solid.
I did not follow any of the girls.
I only just followed Harry like maybe two days ago,
because I really was trying to avoid, like, any attachments.
You know how attached I got to those girls on love overboard.
Yes.
So I did myself a solid this go around.
So today I might spend some time on social media following all of my girlfriends.
Oh, yeah.
I made sure to follow them on the show account before the season kicked off.
because I wanted to be able to see anything that might get, you know,
pushed out on accident.
Might get hairy.
Yeah, might get hairy.
It might get hairy.
So I'm excited.
And like we said, you know, there is going to be a reunion, which is super fun.
I think for a show like this, especially with all the set-up, setup that they're giving us.
And hopefully we get some of the girlies from the cast to come on the pod.
We'd be very excited about that.
episode seven though opens with Harry having just met Sam's mom at that kind of very uncomfortable
first one-on-one meeting with her where she basically was like yeah he's not ready to get
married and you should not invite him back to your room tonight and so it starts with Harry being
like in literally in interview being like I'm not sure how Sam's mom like feels about me
So Sam and him talk and she says, you know, she's a lover girl, but it's not uncommon for her to kind of put the rose color glasses on.
And she really did need to listen to her mom in this situation.
And she says that she's serious about marriage, but she only wants to do this once.
Everybody's being very serious now all of a sudden about this engagement and this marriage.
Sam then asks Harry if he's ready to lock it in for life at the end of this, and he says he is.
And then it gets really uncomfortable because she says, well, that's kind of like a PC answer for the cameras.
He was very offended by that.
He was very offended.
I also could have done, you know, Sam for me, like she's gorgeous.
I've said it over and over again.
She's gorgeous.
Her body is stunning.
You know what I mean?
I could always see the physical chemistry between the two of them.
but I kind of was like really thrilled with her in this episode. Also,
everybody is so healed. Like I said this to you when we recorded the other day.
I don't think I got into like alignment until I was well into my 40s.
And all of these people are like trusting their intuition and it's speaking to them.
And I'm thinking, God, in my 20s, I was so lost. I was so far off course. I appreciate that.
That they are, even Harry has said it a couple of times that he is getting in touch with his
intuition. And Sam says it here that she should have listened to herself when the first
situation happened. I have so many thoughts on that situation with Amber, by the way. I have so many
thoughts. And I know we're going to get there. But like, Harry's, they, I, he says that they,
they got down. And so, like, Sam was right. Yeah, we, we, we can jump to that now. Okay, let's jump to
it then. Because I'm, like, dying. I'm, like, busting at the seams with this episode.
So again, we're talking in detail, peeps. I'm not giving you everything that's on the internet, but
we did speculate in a previous episode if Amber and Harry actually did anything, if him and
Danelle actually did anything. And so basically there is a video out there of Harry responding to
a fan question. And they asked him if it was coincidental that he had sex with the final two
women. Now, obviously we're talking about Sam.
guys, we're going to get to it,
but we kind of pretty much said
that Sam's writing was on the wall
and she wasn't going to be final two.
So the final two ends up being
Danelle and Amber.
And Harry,
clear as day, answers to the camera
and says that when he
and Danelle were in the closet,
all they were doing was kissing.
He says,
plain as day.
I have no idea where
that audio came from that was playing in that scene. I don't even know who's in that audio that is
playing, but it sure as hell wasn't us. And then I can't remember. Does he say he had sex with
Amber? He says it later on in this episode, Heather. He says it to Alex Cooper. He straight up says,
well, Sam leaves because she kind of caught me in the moment that I had sex with Amber. And I thought,
this bit had to have been filmed way later
because remember how hardcore
he was like sticking to Amber
and she asked him not to say anything
so he wasn't he was keeping the secret for her
and then we see later on
I actually have my own theories here
I think that scene with Alex Cooper
is filmed way later
because he straight up tells her
that he had sex with Amber
that night when that shower was running
and that Sam caught them.
Yeah, he does. He says that.
Okay, well, we'll get into it.
Let's rewind, go back to Sam for right now.
So she calls him out for that PC answer.
And like we said, he immediately, personality.
He's like, that's kind of mean to say to me.
And she's like, well, well.
And then she like tries to like kind of backpedal on it.
And it's like, no, you just literally said that he was giving you like,
giving you face, like not the, you know.
giving you straight feelings and emotion.
And then she says to him that she doesn't want to get physical tonight.
So she's not going to be bringing him back to her room.
And he literally gets up and says, good seeing you and walks away.
Does it hugger?
This for me screams that toxic behavior that he addressed in earlier episodes.
This is toxic behavior of a grown boy.
who got shut down and didn't get what he wanted.
So he then started becoming, you know, dismissive, avoidant,
all of those things, cold to a woman he has brought this far.
And he says, good seeing you.
So had she responded the way that he wanted and took him home and gotten down,
which is what he really wanted, would he have been nicer to her?
Was it that kind of a reward system?
This was an ick for me, Heather.
It was an ick.
I really didn't like this, Harry.
And I think what we see later is that he kind of regrets this interaction too.
We're obviously going to have to see how this plays out at the reunion because this is it for them.
She actually the next morning says, yeah, I'm done.
That was an answer enough for me.
She leaves her ring and she leaves the hotel.
And then a producer has to go and tell Harry that she's decided to leave.
I was all on board with this.
I was absolutely like, you go, girl.
Oh, go, girl.
A hundred percent was the right move.
I would have liked to see Harry do a little bit more legwork of, I got to go find her.
I got to go make this right.
Like, this is not how I end things with this girl.
But we got to leave some things for the reunion, right?
We got to see some sort of resolution there, hopefully.
But yeah, yeah, that was like not good vibes to just literally.
get up and walk out of the room after somebody says, very straightforward, you know, I don't think
I'm going to be inviting you back to my room tonight. I'm not really interested in getting physical
to be like, good seeing you and just walk out. He was like a little toddler boy who didn't get his way.
That is not the hairy that we want to marry. No. And it could have been like he takes her hands and says,
you know, I was really looking forward to spending the night with you tonight, but I totally respect
your decision. And hopefully we can talk.
talk about this tomorrow, you know, with fresh eyes.
But is that assuming too much?
Because that's how we expect a healthy adult male to respond in that moment.
I don't know.
You know, I also don't want to deny the fact that what she said right before that hurt
his feelings, is saying that he's putting it on for the camera.
Because then he went and did something that was completely not PC right after.
She called him out for being PC and then he went and did something pretty shitty, not for the cameras.
You know, that made him look bad.
So I can understand why he was upset in that moment, but I think he would agree to that he didn't handle it right.
And he seemed pretty surprised when they go to his room the next day to tell him, you know, she left.
So then the next day is.
when he goes to have coffee, like you said, with Alex Cooper.
You know, I wasn't really tapping into when this could have been filmed like you were,
but I think that probably your intuition is correct that this was filmed later.
I'm just glad that I have an intuition.
Like the rest of these girls.
It's great because the thing that I'll point out is that Alex is sitting for the entire scene.
She never gets up to greet Harry, and we all know,
now because it's public knowledge that Alex is pregnant.
So if she was showing at the time, that wouldn't be no reason why she needed to be seated the
entire scene. I was trying very hard to look. I was trying very hard. I was trying to look at what
La La Land location they were at. I thought maybe it was the one by my house, but it's not.
I actually rewound to see what the street sign said outside. And I was like, is that the one by me?
No, it was not. It wasn't. It wasn't. But then there were locations by my house later in
the episode. And I was like, it's just, you're supposed to marry Harry. It's in the, it's in the stars.
Maybe I'm not supposed to marry him because I think he's too young for me, but maybe our pets are
supposed to be friends. Maybe we're supposed to meet at the dog park or something at some point.
I don't know. We'll, we'll get into that. But basically, he confesses to Alex, like you said,
that he had sex with Amber, that Sam kind of caught on to it and that he straight
up, you know, lied because he felt like he was between a rock and a hard place. Amber told him not to
tell. And Sam was asking him to tell the truth. So he didn't know what to do. And, you know,
Alex kind of gives him some tough love and says that he should have been honest because, you know,
she says, like, you should have been honest because this girl's going to find out eventually.
It's similar to what you and I discussed in the last podcast episode is like,
The fact is you're on reality TV.
At first, I was like, yeah, I get it.
Protect Amber.
You know, keep your relationships different.
But you and I talked about this at length.
And Alex Cooper does the same thing.
You're filming a television show.
She's going to find out one way or the other.
And why not at least say something?
And you said this in our last episode.
Why not at least say something like,
hey, I want to be able to keep my relationship separate.
What happened with Amber is private.
What happens with you?
I respect you and it's private.
Why not at least say that versus just lie about it?
Because now I am like, oh, goody, goody, goody.
We get to see him address this hopefully at the reunion.
Oh, he's definitely going to have to address it.
I don't think a girly like Sam is going to let him off the hook without being like,
you lied to my face this time, this time, this time.
like I gave you ample opportunities to tell the truth.
Who I saw on social media, by the way,
and she chopped all of her hair off and she dyed it.
Oh my gosh,
I looked at her socials too,
and I was trying to decipher when this was filmed
by looking at her hair color.
Yeah.
Yeah, me too.
Because she's got much lighter hair now.
Much lighter.
She definitely put some blonde in it,
and she cut it all off.
Like she had that long, beautiful brown hair,
and she cut it all off.
And she's like lightened it a lot.
I know.
We looked at the same thing.
We've got issues, Heather.
Well, the next day, Harry is flying back to New Zealand with his final two women, which are Dinell and Amber, and they're going to meet his family.
And this is a big deal because this is the first time Harry has gone home since his dad passed away.
And so this is going to be really difficult for him.
I felt like when I watched this, them going to New Zealand, I was like, oh, this is where the budget for the show is.
These New Zealand shots.
Yeah.
I can't tell you, though, there were some production decisions when we get to New Zealand and on the way there that I was like, why are we doing this?
So first of all, it gave me the ick, the slow swipe fade transition on the screen.
It was like somebody's first day on the job and they were like, watch this cool trick I learned when I graduated.
Thank you.
Was it not like watching some sort of high school graduation video that your grandma made to show?
It reminded me of editing a video that I put onto my Instagram that I think all the cool kids are trying this.
Let me try it.
And then being like, what?
That didn't work.
What?
Who was like, I know the transition for this scene.
Slow dribble swipe down like diagonal.
I was like, clearly then a lot of stuff was also filmed with cell phones.
The plane shots were all filmed with cell phones.
The airport shots are always usually filmed with cell phones.
cell phones on shows, but just that was cheesy. And then we get into Harry's first solo shots
at his family's house. And I thought I was drunk when I was watching the screen because of the weird
fish eye, trippy lens that they put on the solo shots. And I'm like, why did you do this? Why did you
do this? We're on the final episodes. Why are you making weird,
choices now in terms of how it looks. Don't you think they probably went to New Zealand and hired
local crew and maybe the local crew just did not know to save money. I know the bachelor does that.
They take some of their like traditional. You take your core people, but that's,
but that's an editing in post decision. That's not like a weird lens that's like on the camera.
That's like a post decision. And also like I think you're sending the camera guys.
You're not sending craft service.
You're hiring local craft service and local PAs maybe.
But that was weird.
It was a weird like, look.
And I also want to say that when they're back for the final episode,
I think that they're still doing it.
So it's definitely not a local crew thing.
It was like a choice and it was just like a bad choice.
Yeah.
Behind every night spent making the kids lunches,
there's a lot of suspense.
Will they finally eat the veggie?
Will the pesto survive the first bite?
Will the lunchbox come home empty, half full, or come home at all?
And will you finish episode 8 before you're done slicing the cucumbers?

The definition of what is a movie has kind of changed.

What do you think it is now?
It's images and words being spoken, captured by some sort of technology.
Danny McBride.
He loves...
Oh, that's fantastic.
And you make it on...
You make your own.
That's great.
I call him Terro Reed.
It's a good name.
They're all named after cast members of American Pie.
Yeah.
I call...
I don't...
I never looked up if she was in this, but I call him Leachy Sobiesky.
Yet, I don't think she was an American Pie, but I...
Haven't looked it up.
Haven't looked it up.
She was prominent around the same time.
Then Mary Steenbergin.
Why are you guys talking to me?
I'm worried.
I'm worried.
Why are you talking so down to me that you think I don't understand your little play game?
I just really.
I get it.
I'm trying to set you up for success here.

All right.
We're in New Zealand.
Harry is feeling lots of emotion.
emotions. I like emotional Harry. I don't feel like we got enough of emotional Harry this season.
We get a lot. Yeah, but we get a lot of it in New Zealand when he's with his family. And I'm really here for it. It makes him seem human, which is what I really like.
Harry's with his family, tells him about the final two women. He says that he's more silly with Amber and that with Dinell. He wants to be a better guy. You know what I mean? So,
Amber comes and she meets the family.
I love the like the whole family is there, his sisters,
their husbands, the nieces and nephews.
Like it made me want to like go to New Zealand,
move there, live on a farm, on a cliff,
and be like part of Harry's family.
Super beautiful, very, very green.
Everything is so green in the scenes.
I've been to New Zealand one time
and it was when I was filming something for The Bachelor
and I remember thinking when the plan was landing,
I thought we were just landing in a field
because everything was so green
and there were sheep and everything
and then obviously runway,
but I remember falling in love with New Zealand.
I thought it was so great.
Anyway, Harry jokingly asks
if his sisters are going,
if they're nervous as they are meeting Amber.
And Amber says that she's more excited than nervous.
She doesn't strike me as a person
who has seemed nervous at all during this season.
Like I thought, okay, cool girl.
I would have been nervous meeting someone's family.
Like even without cameras around or for my experience with cameras around, I was nervous.
There is a piece of you that you're human and you want people to like you.
Yeah, she's been pretty cool as a cucumber girl, this entire thing.
And like you kind of said previously, she doesn't seem to really be super buddy, buddy with anybody.
But again, I think that's pretty typical that the.
shows don't show the strong connections between the people who end up being the finals and other
cast members. So who's to say if she was having a really strong connection with Dinell or anybody
else that she was filming with? But yeah, she's definitely expressing that she's like pretty
relaxed throughout this whole thing and she's never been, you know, really stressed and she's
pretty confident the entire time in their connection.
Yeah, well, she seems very relaxed, especially even when Harry's family, they ask her about her previous marriage.
She talks about it.
She talks about her decision to leave the Mormon church.
She wanted to be more of her free-spirited self.
And I do think I didn't know her before, obviously, but I think she fits this free-spirited self vibe that she's got going on.
But also, this is a moment.
We've heard her talk about her divorce and stuff like that before, but we really see her go into
some vulnerability here and talk about her decision to leave that marriage and to leave the church
in order to be closer to her true self. It sounds like for her, it was, the religion aspect
was a deciding factor in why she chose to divorce, which was interesting to hear. Well, I thought
it was also really cool that she said, too, that she knew it wasn't for her. And she almost in a sense
set him free, said, you know, ex-husband. Yeah, she wanted him to find somebody that
was more aligned with him.
Right?
That their stuff aligned.
I found that very mature of her.
Because, you know, as someone who comes from divorce, right?
It's a slippery slope to point your finger at the other person
and pinpoint everything that they did wrong.
And she didn't do that in this scenario.
And I think that speaks wonders to her and her personality and who she is.
But anyway, Amber is, I get the vibe that like her sisters, the niece, the older niece,
I don't remember her name, Harry's niece.
They seem to really like Amber.
I can also tell that they're all into their horoscope signs.
They're asking each other.
Their water signs and stuff.
So they're really viving all of that.
Amber tells them that she likes Harry's adventurous spirit,
that she's been very relaxed this whole experience.
And that's what I got as a viewer.
Yeah, I would agree with that.
I love, we go into Harry and Amber's date,
and this just filled my heart, Heather.
It is such bachelor vibes, like all across the board.
It made me so happy.
We go, the sun is beautiful, the weather,
and they're going to get into a helicopter
and take a tour of New Zealand.
I was like, oh, I'm right at home.
I'm right at home here.
Exactly.
Yeah.
Amber says that we're so lucky
that we get to fall in love like this,
and they kiss.
I can't say it now without you.
like you're in my head at all times, Heather.
That was actually like a really cute moment because I felt like his reaction to her saying
that he was like, oh, like he was genuinely excited that she said that because she has been
cool as a cucumber girl and he's kind of been like egging her on to kind of just like,
you know, you can be affectionate.
You can open up to me because he has been, you know.
So this is where we start to see glimmers of her showing that side of herself.
Because remember, we've already heard from Dinell that she's falling in love with him, you know,
and kind of Amber's only given him like, I like you up until this point.
So this was kind of a big deal, I think, for him.
And then, yeah, they see a rainbow, which is like the most picture-esque thing ever.
and they're in this helicopter.
There's a rainbow.
She's from the rainbow state of Hawaii.
She says that.
And he is so not from the United States in that moment.
He was like, what do you mean?
And she was like, Hawaii, duh.
It's a rainbow state.
And he's like, oh, cool, cool, cool.
But also, like, they're both into signs, right?
So she says that that's her sign.
And he's been saying the thing about the bee was his sign.
So it's a really cute moment.
they land, they go to a beach, and they basically like, you know, talk some more about this and the signs.
And Harry says he's falling in love with her. And Amber says it back. So very sweet. Very sweet. Very sweet little moment between them.
I have to know if you notice how he like holds the girls like babies. Have you noticed that?
No, but that sounds like. They're always.
sitting in his lap and he's like holding them like a baby you know what I mean like when I look at
it maybe I'm just an old mom like I think of when I hold my children like they're like sitting
straddled like across horizontally across my lap and he holds the girls like that it happens
more in this episode and even in the end but I've noticed it over and over again I'm like I don't know
why doesn't she at least just like straddle him or like sit on one knee why is he holding them all
like little babies I'd like Harry to hold me like a little baby yeah I
you would. Yeah, you would. That sounds cute. I didn't really pick up on that, but I will look next time.
The next day, Dinell is there to meet Harry's family. He goes to pick her up to drive her there.
And she's like saying to him as he's driving, she's like, there's something I need to tell you.
And I'd rather tell you now than, you know, in front of your family. And he's like, he's, you know, driving.
He is scared. And he hits the break.
and he's like, like, what is it?
And she says, you know, I'm in love with you.
And he's like, oh my gosh.
Me too.
It's not an STD.
You're not pregnant.
He says me too and he says it back to her.
And obviously this brings me to
this is such a bachelor moment, right?
Our own, our very own, Ben Higgins was the first bachelor
to say that he was in love with his two finalists, you know.
So, you know, I thought that was like, that was really sweet.
And he looked again genuinely like pleased with that moment and that comment.
And he thought that was so sweet that she told him because she's like, I have a feeling it's going to come up with your family.
So which I was like, that's so aggressive.
Like I would never, I would actually be mortified if I brought somebody home for the first time.
And then my family was like, so do you love, do you love her?
mortified. But then I remember
this is a TV show and he's supposed to get married.
So this is very different. This is not real life.
But the funniest part to me is when she meets his family,
they're talking about there being a wedding and his sister's joke and go to Danelle and they go,
are you going to be there?
I died.
I thought that was so funny.
Like I want to see more of the sisters.
I laugh out loud.
Me too, Heather.
I laughed so hard.
She was like, well, I hope so.
She was like, oh, yeah, there's a wedding.
And they were like, oh, yeah, are you going to be there?
And she was like, I hope so.
I thought that was so funny.
She does not know yet.
So that was funny.
And then, you know, they chit chat as a family.
They tell the family that they're in love, you know, with each other.
And, you know, then Dinell opens up about that her parents were divorced when she, again,
I'm like, why are we hearing this now?
We're at the very end of the season, and we get her entire backstory.
Her entire backstory.
Dinell shares that her parents divorced when she was a teenager, and then her mom told her,
oh, the man that you thought was your father, your entire life, is not your biological father.
So then when she was 17, she went looking for her biological father.
She found him.
They have a great relationship.
But she says, yeah, this is probably where my trust.
issues come from because I had full trust in my mom and this like caused friction between us.
Now, obviously we know she's good with her mom now because we saw her already meet Harry.
But like, what in the actual this shit have been brought up so much sooner?
This is actually crazy.
I'm sorry, we got the vulnerable date.
How is it that they didn't tap into any of this stuff in that moment?
This didn't come up in your vulnerable conversation with the girls.
group about writing stuff down on your tile? Like what? Remember when I told you that that date felt
very silly in that moment? Why couldn't they have taken that opportunity to really open up at least
with some of the girls that they wanted to have a storyline with for the rest of this season and dive
more into it? We're sitting down with Harry and his family. They're engaged and she's just now telling
the story about her traumatic life when she was younger. It's like we get to know her and then she's gone like
that. But did you notice, Harry already knew this. Because when she's talking about her parents,
he jumps in and he's like, but she's good with her mom now. She's good with her dad. Like,
everything's great. Oh, you're right. I did see that, Heather, but it didn't just until now.
It clicked. It didn't click with me at the time when I saw it. So this story, he knew. He's already
in the note. So whether this happened off camera during their one-on-one night, you know, overnight,
they discuss this or whatever.
But this to me screams, sorry, guys,
the producers that are making this show,
not the on, you know, people shooting the show,
the executives, the people that are overseeing this,
the Alex Cooper team,
they do not have a strong history of making television shows.
And this to me screams like,
we're figuring it out.
And nothing screams more of,
we're figuring it out than when you saw the mentors in the first episode and then they completely had
different roles later on. I cannot wait to touch on that as we get further on, but there's a whole other
issue with that. If we're being nitpicky for a moment too, I'm wondering if you saw this,
as they're sitting there outside at the picnic tables, Harry and Donnell with his family,
did you notice that they showed the same shot several times? And it shows the backs of Harry and
Danelle and he's like rubbing her back.
They showed the exact same shot
multiple times during this conversation.
No, I did notice though that the same
B-roll footage of the car was shown multiple times
on the highway. Again, it's just like,
it screams like, sorry, like low budge.
This is our first go at it.
We don't know what we're doing.
Low budge, first go at it.
We only have so many cameras.
We only have so much footage.
Like, it's just the weird swipey transitions.
Like this is just, this is a very,
season one, we're kind of figuring it out kind of show, which, you know, it is what it is.
She shows them the ring, both of them. Yeah. She shows the sisters, the ring. I actually wanted to
scream and text you and say, oh, God, they're talking about the tiny ring again. And Harry is so
proud to say, like, oh, I brought this other ring and he gave it to her. And what do you know?
It was her size. It was perfect. Yeah. The second ring thing is really just,
a weird red herring.
And I'm going to say that it is not real.
I'm just going to say it.
Like there's no way this guy went and just like bought some weird ring before filming.
It's just a weird red herring because what it does is it fools you as a viewer to think,
oh, well, he already has his mind made up.
He's had it made up since he gave that girl the ring.
And because there were so many girls.
It's a way of you not forgetting her in the mix because she's not a loud character at all throughout this.
But had we been more invested in her personal story and known stuff about her like this early on,
we wouldn't have needed a weird red herring gimmick like a fake ring, extra fake ring.
So it's just bad storytelling personally is what I think it comes down to.
And it is.
it's hard to balance the amount of drama,
the amount of conflict,
and the amount of heartfelt,
you know,
on a show where there's one lead
and there's X amount of women.
So I say this all the time,
but my biggest problem is that
there's too many contestants
that are filler on these shows.
And if these casts were smaller,
you would have,
one, less eliminations,
and two, more time to develop stories.
and characters.
So I hate the 20 girls, one guy.
I think there's a reason why a lot of shows
have veered away from this format over the years.
It's also very hard to find a lead
that can carry an entire season like this.
Like Harry is super seasoned now on TV
and that's why this works in this situation.
But it's really hard to find a random person
from obscurity and give them this role anymore
and that's, I think, a huge downfall of The Bachelor
and why it's been happening is because it's a lot of pressure to put on somebody.
But yeah, I think had this cast been half as big and we had 10 girls versus 20,
I think we'd be having a much different show and we'd be more emotionally invested.
And you'd still have those big fiery personalities like a Juliana and stuff like that
that would go in there and mix it up.
Juliana, Sammy, you know, that's all good.
But you would just have less of the filler people like the Emma,
like the Maya bees, you know, stuff like that.
The ones at like episode five, we were like, who are they?
When did they get here?
Exactly.
I'm with you.
Behind every night spent making the kids' lunches, there's a lot of suspense.
Will they finally eat the veggies?
Will the pastos survive the first bite?
Will the lunchbox come home empty, half full, or come home at all?
And will you finish episode eight before you're done slicing the cucumbers?

What do you think it is now?
It's images and words being spoken, captured by some sort of technology.
Danny McBride.
Oh, that's fantastic.
And you make it on, you make your own.
That's great.
I call him Terro Reed.
It's a good name.
They're all named after cast members of American Pie.
Yeah.
I call, I don't, I never looked up if she was in this, but I call him Leachie Sobieski.
Yeah.
I don't think she was an American Pie, but I still like that.
Haven't looked it up.
She was prominent around the same time.
Yeah.
Then Mary Steenbergin.

So Harry and Dinell go on their date.
Way less, um, romantic.
Romantic.
It's go to a sheep farm and feed some baby sheeps.
Not that it's not cute.
It's so cute.
It's so cute.
It's not a helicopter date with a rainbow.
that's for damn sure.
But I don't know,
they do this on The Bachelor too, Heather.
Like somebody gets this over the top,
super romantic date,
and then somebody else kind of gets what's left over.
Yeah.
Well, that was it for her.
That's what happened to poor Donnell.
So they go back to L.A.
the next day, the girlies.
And, you know, we see Harry on the beach crying.
He's, like, really conflicted on what he's going to do.
Which leads us right into the finale.
So we're back at the house in L.A.
Harry is having trouble sleeping.
So he goes and meets with two of his mentors, Amanda and Sunny.
And they meet up for him.
They meet up with him for coffee.
And he's telling them he really can't make a decision.
And Amanda asks if he's done a pros and cons list.
And then again, he's still like, you know,
contemplating what to do.
Amanda says that Harry's low feelings and how he's feeling like conflicted is,
is a good thing because this is going to help him go, you know, further in life.
This is all so weird.
We just started to touch on this a second ago about the mentors.
You know what I mean?
All right.
Here we are.
They come back in.
They pop in.
Where's Georgia?
No one even is like, oh, Georgia's under the weather or whatever.
Georgia couldn't make it for filming that day for some reason.
Or whatever reason.
They don't even be like, they're, they're not, oh, they don't say anything about her.
No.
No, she's not there for this.
And neither one of them, the mentors, have a strong opinion at this point about which girl.
But we'll get into this later because one of them has given his strong opinion.
And so we'll talk about that.
But then we see both the girls.
We see montages of them trying on wedding dresses by themselves.
All alone.
I thought the same thing, Heather.
I was like, this is kind of sad.
It's supposed to be a really beautiful moment.
And this is kind of sad.
They're in there all alone.
No one's even like, no girl.
That one's not right for you.
They're all alone.
It all just felt nobody's nervous. This is what I'm noticing when we get to these wedding portions. Nobody's nervous. Everybody's just going through the motions, having fun. Nobody's having their, I found the dress said yes to the dress moment and crying. Like none of that is happening. No one's, no one's mom is there. Like when you buy a dress, your mom and your best friend are supposed to be there. But why do you think nobody's getting emotional or getting like over?
overwhelmed in the dress scene.
Well, I'm about to say something because now I've seen some spoilers.
Okay.
Can I touch on it?
This is a spoiler.
Well, yeah, go ahead and say it.
This is your warning people because I feel the same thing.
Okay.
No one is getting emotional.
No one is getting emotional because they know it's not real.
Exactly.
They are filming a bit for a television show.
There is no signed paperwork.
They are not really marrying Harry.
Exactly.
I will fully agree with that.
And I think it becomes even more apparent at the end during the vows.
So, yeah.
So I think this whole wedding set up, this wearing the dress, like nobody is in their feels about any of this.
So then the next day, Harry basically has last mini dates with each of the girls.
So him and Dinell, go to a park.
Do we love this park, Heather?
Do we love this park?
I was like, oh my God.
So Harry's at a park that I was literally at on Tuesday where I take my dog.
Park is kind of a stretch.
It's like, it's like a hill of grass like down by the beach.
And I'm like, oh my gosh, this is where I take my dog.
And then Harry walks up with two of his dogs.
And Harry has the exact same breed of dog as me.
And I was like, shooketh because then I went on his socials and I was like,
he has no pictures of this dog.
How would I have ever known that we have the same dog breed?
Not just that, Heather, but come on.
I was like really annoyed.
We haven't heard anything about Harry's dogs.
He's been in L.A. this entire season.
We don't even know that Harry has dogs.
And then all of a sudden at the bear in, he rolls up to a park with two dogs.
He was like, oh, you didn't know my dogs?
These are my dogs.
I know.
This one's a little anxious because she hasn't seed me in some time, but like, these are my dogs.
What?
By the way, they're both such cute.
dogs and I love that he's like a little animal lover.
Like we've talked about this throughout the whole season.
It's like Harry lives on a farm.
Harry loves pigs.
Harry loves,
you know, cuckles and whatever he used to go get on the seashell.
So I love that about him.
But I was literally flabbergasted when he walked out with a cavalier because people,
you don't see a lot of six, five straight men walking around with a cavalier.
Little tiny dogs that aren't married or divorced.
Like, there are guys, like, there's a guy in my neighbor.
I went to bed so early, and I'll have everybody know that I woke up this morning at 5 a.m.
to text messages from Heather because she is so excited that Harry has dogs and he's at the same
park that she takes her dog too.
And she is, I could just hear the excitement in this text message.
We're living two totally different lives.
Heather's texting me at almost 11 o'clock and I'm waking up at 5.
and Heather's like, oh my God, it's my park.
I'm so excited.
I was waiting.
I'm like, wait, that's a park that I go to.
Wait, he has the same dog as me.
What?
Like, I was, let's marry Harry.
Let's marry him.
Or maybe marry our dogs.
What if my dog, because mine's a boy and his is a girl.
He did look a little disheveled trying to walk the dogs,
like trying to control them in the park.
They were all like tangled up and twisting their leash.
And he was like, dogs, dogs, dogs, dogs.
Everyone calm down.
I was just, I was like, I adore this man even more now because we have the same thing.
Maybe I'll see Harry at the dog park one day. Maybe.
So, Dinell says, you know, she loves him. She's feeling good about them. Great. Then he goes and has his little mini date with Amber. Same beach people. They're just walking on the beach. And, you know, Harry is feeling, you know, so worried because he's going to hurt somebody.
Amber says she's excited about the possibility of getting married to him.
She's so grateful for this connection.
And they tell each other that they love each other in this scene.
So now it's official.
He's in love with both of them.
So it's the wedding day and we see them all getting ready for the big day.
And their friends are coming in.
They're greeting them.
And then we get the fastest breakup scene I've ever seen.
I've ever seen on a dating show ever.
I was like jolted into trauma.
You know that if this was The Bachelor,
this would be half the episode
would just be this breakup scene.
This was like, it happened, it was done.
Let's go get married.
She doesn't even have time to cry.
She does not cry in front of him.
She's not upset.
Like, it is, why?
Why is nobody upset?
Because it's not real.
Exactly.
I needed to see her like rip the veil off and be like,
why did you waste my time and putting this dress on,
getting all this hair and makeup done,
flying my friends out.
Like, how dare you?
It's going to happen at the reunion for sure.
Like, that's where things are going to get heated because it was so fast.
It was like deer in headlights.
And for somebody like Harry who has cried through this entire series,
he is not crying through this.
So people, here he goes to Dinell's room.
She's surprised to see him.
She's in a full-blown wedding dress and a veil.
And Harry says this has been, by the way, when he's nervous,
he talks really fast.
He talks really fast.
He just has to get through it.
So he's talking very fast.
And he's telling her his decision.
He's fallen in love with her.
He says, it's literally at this speed.
He says they aren't going to get married today.
She doesn't deserve him.
Somebody who is second-guessing her.
she says, so she says she doesn't have anything to say other than she just feels really stupid.
And they have a very awkward hug.
And he leaves.
She says she feels blindsided.
And I think that is actually a very accurate depiction of what's happening here.
Like you were getting dressed for just a minute.
Tell me.
Tell me.
When I was on The Bachelor, I was on Brad Womack's season.
And his very first season, he very famously doesn't.
choose anyone. And I remember feeling this exact same way. Brad and I stayed together the night before.
You can guess, right? And the next day, he hugs me and he kisses me and he's like, I'll see you
tomorrow. And I said, don't remind me. And he said, don't worry. It's going to be a good day.
So in this moment, I, like, wanted to sob for Dinell because I felt all of the same things.
when they get me ready, they film me saying hi to Chris Harrison. I take the long walk and these like
six inch stilettos praying to God I don't fall over into the grass and die. And then he get up there on
that podium with Brad. And he decides not to choose me. And in that moment, I am like catapulted into reality.
And I start looking around and I see the cameras hidden in the grass wall, the flowers behind me,
the producers to my left, and I feel so stupid in that moment. I'm like, oh, shit. Right. It's a television show.
It was never about me. But I remember thinking and saying that same thing because he kept wanting to
hug me and hold me and tell me it was going to be okay. And I was like, you are the last person I
trust in this moment along with the rest of these fuckers sitting around watching. And I felt so
stupid. I can't even
imagine. But she really
holds it together. And then
obviously in her interview after we see
this was one tier
and that tear was moving so
slow down her face.
But just one tear she gives to Harry.
I did the same thing to Brad. One baby dragon tear
down the side of my cheek. They were going to make me sit in that
limo all night until I cried and I was like, you people are the
worst people in the entire world. And it cuts to me with one dragon tear coming down the side of my
face over Brad Wilmack. Behind every night spent making the kids' lunches, there's a lot of suspense.

Like when my friend Henry Winkler offered advice to aspiring actors and really anybody hoping to stand out.
You're not hired just to fill time and space.
You're hired to fill the space with you.
You have something in your guts.
You go with it.
And Sean Johnson recalled the moment she realized her now husband, Andrew, was the one.
He was just so unapologetically himself and knew nothing of Hollywood.
He hadn't been on a plane before without his family.
It was so pure.

Our town is small taters by most standards, right?
But to the people who grew up here, it's everything.
What happens when a quiet Tennessee town becomes the front line in a battle over the future of America?
Developers with right-wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land in the area.
The first thing you see when it pops up is pioneers and at least.
But they weren't just planning houses.
We need cities on a shining hill that exemplify and embody the Christian way of life.
Stop right there. Is that normal?
A podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment.
God need men to rule. Great.
And decides to fight back.
Do not use my hard work to sell your bull-h.
They're not just opposing what's being planned for here.
Our hometown is not a test.
They feel like they're standing in opposition to an entire administration.
Guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now, did you?

Hey, Portlandia fans.
Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen here.
You know us, or rather you know them.
Tony and Candace, Nina and Lance, Spike, and yes, the chicken.
We've played a lot of iconic characters over the years, but today we're showing up as ourselves to tell you about Podlandia, A.O. rewatch.
podcast. Each week, we'll revisit an episode of Portlandia from the very beginning, breaking down
the sketches, exploring the backstories of our most iconic characters, revisiting the Portland
locations you know and love, and opening up about our creative process. How did any of this get made?
Why do we think that was a good idea? We're ready to talk about it. And we'll also be joined by the
people who helped bring it all to life. Guest stars, collaborators and friends, including director
Jonathan Chrysall, the mayor himself, Kyle McLaughlin, legendary musician Amy Mann, and
and many more.
Kyle is going for it here.
You fully improvised,
not just words, but a song, a melody.
I thought he was going to write.
I thought you were all going to write a song.
I remember you thinking that.

On Solita, we share the messy stories of traveling alone as a woman.
Your duolingo is not going to come back to you
when a man is inside of you.
Oh, no.
I'm Julie Pinero, and I travel by myself
because it's a rare space where I can say yes
without asking anyone else first.
I'm on a mission to reclaim the word solita,
trading the pity for possibility.
Every time I tried to be alone,
I kept meeting people,
and they were like,
you smiled at us.
Not a lot of people smile around here.
I can wait four hours for the next bus,
or this random dude is offering me a ride on it.
his motorcycle. It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is and not the
lies you're sold about it. So whether you're a solo travel veteran or you're too nervous to book
your first trip, I hope you listen to Solita on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever
you get your podcasts. What's crazy is Harry literally races to the altar right after this.
He gets in a car, drives there, and then I wrote, Alex Cooper is there to greet. Alex Cooper is there to
greet him when he gets out of the car. And then I wrote, Alex Cooper is so obnoxious in this scene.
This should have been one of the mentors greeting him. Like, why are you here? Oh yeah. I get that
you're the executive producer, but go. It's like she gives them this whole speech of like,
I felt like I was getting dressed for a funeral today because it's the death of the old you,
but it's also the marriage of the new you. And I was like, bye. Like you're so annoying. Like,
This should have been sunny.
Sorry, but that's who it should have been.
Should have been sunny greeting him when he gets out of the car being like,
hey man, I'm your best man here today.
You ready to do this?
I'm so proud of you.
Because then we get to the altar and Amanda Clutes is the one who's the wedding officiant.
That's fine.
This makes sense.
George is in the audience sitting there like rooting on ready to.
So it's like Alex Cooper.
It was this weird like, oh, remember me?
I'm paying for all of this.
This is my production company.
so like she needs a little bit of recognition.
She already had her coffee scene.
Get out of here.
You're so annoying.
Sorry.
Anybody listening is like a huge, gigantic Alex Cooper fan.
I'm just like...
Did you also notice they only filmed her from behind?
I don't know why I'm so invested in like that.
No, they filmed her.
She's facing him.
Yeah, but we didn't get a good full body shot of her.
Unless I just like fell asleep or something.
No, I feel like I could tell.
She's wearing like a purple dress.
It was like long sleeve.
It was pretty form fitting.
But the rest of the shots we see of her, she's sitting.
And she's the only one wearing sunglasses.
Everyone else is filming reality television and not allowed to wear sunglasses except for Alex Cooper.
She is wearing these cute little trendy shades the entire time at someone's wedding.
And it wasn't even sunny out.
Yeah.
Anyways, Amber exits and Harry is emotional.
and then I wrote when she gets up to the altar
and they're facing each other that his hands are in his pockets.
I didn't notice that.
It was weird.
The next scene,
they're out of his pockets
and he's clasping them in front of him.
But at first,
when she joins him,
his hands are in his pockets,
which,
you know,
typical is you hold hands
with your soon-to-be bride.
That's what people tend to do.
My God,
I'm going to have to go back and watch that scene, Heather.
I mean,
I remember getting the feet.
that they are not two lovers in love,
like it was very school, school kid kind of situation.
But I don't remember that.
I'm going to have to go back and look for that.
It was interesting.
So then they say that they're going to read their own vows.
And they're like laughing.
That's what I wanted to say again
was how I felt this was not real,
is that they're just continuing to laugh
throughout this entire ceremony.
They are improvving is what they're doing.
like, wow. He keeps saying things like, wow or oh my gosh and like laughing. So then Harry pulls out
these little Harry Potter-looking-esque glasses to read his vows. Listen, for anyone listening,
I just sent Heather a message on Instagram. And I was like, oh, he's so cute in glasses. Why didn't
he do that all season? And then here he is in his Harry Potter glasses. So first of all, I would
fully agree. And he's been doing a lot of press for the show wearing glasses. All with his glasses on.
He's adorable in the glasses.
My only thing that I would say is why they probably didn't have him wear them during
filming was because of glares.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
So they were outside so much.
So that's probably why.
But other than that, for his indoor scenes and night scenes, he should have been wearing
them because he looks so cute.
Not everybody can pull off glasses, especially small round frames.
And he is a cutie-patutian glasses.
So cute.
So he pulls them out, which gets kind of some laughs.
And he goes, oh, like just wait a second.
he reads his vows and he ends it by saying that these are his dad's glasses and he wanted his dad to see how beautiful she is.
And I wrote, oh my God, I wrote, I'm weeping and now I'm actually tearing up like rereading it because it was so sweet when he said that.
She doesn't cry though.
I think when she is not touched by the moment.
Everyone else is touched by the moment except for her.
I'm touched rethinking about it right now.
So I really literally wrote, I'm weeping.
Heather is literally weeping right now.
She is tears rolling down her cheeks.
I thought it was so sweet.
It was very sweet.
Amber says that this has all been about her letting her guard down and surrendering to the process.
And then I wrote, they just keep laughing through this ceremony and then they kiss.
Do you know that she did not write her vow?
It gets to her turn and she says,
oh, I didn't write anything down.
Yeah, she just looks at him and like speaks.
Well, she's already done this before, you know?
You are still crying.
You are still crying.
This is her second wedding.
So it's not, maybe she was just like, whatever.
I know what you do.
I've done this. Yeah.
So they kiss and then we get a whole bunch of scenes from their reception.
Harry's mom come up and says something to her.
and she's, you know, it's all cute, right?
They do one last final little interview scene and she is sitting on his lap, straddling him like a toddler.
She's sitting on him and then we get a whole bunch of little shots of them post-filming is what we're supposed to think,
but I will guarantee you that some of those shots look like they were shot in New Zealand when they were together.
So it says, and then it says, you know, reunion is coming, blah, blah, blah.
So now we're going to get into some stuff that we saw on the internet.
So again, we're not going to dive deep into everything because we want to leave some stuff to people.
But TMZ did report Harry Jousie Netflix wedding isn't legally binding.
So it goes in to say that the winner and Harry aren't legally married as far as TMZ has learned.
sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ,
despite Harry and Amber exchanging vows
during the show's finale this week,
they intentionally held off on making the marriage official.
Supposedly, this is what the sources are saying,
they held off on making it official
to avoid spoiling the ending before it aired.
As one source put it,
we were preventing a love is blind situation
where eagle-eyed fans discover marriage records
before viewers learn which couples say I do.
A production source also confirmed to TMZ,
Harry and Amber, didn't legally marry, quote unquote, yet,
because of spoiler concerns.
TMZ is told they will arrive together at the reunion
scheduled to film August 24th
and give fans an update on how their relationship has been going
since the show wrapped.
TMZ searched marriage records in locations,
tied to the production and found no record of a couple legally tying the knot.
Harry chose Amber over Dinell after dating 20 women.
It says that Amber officiated, excuse me,
says Amanda officiated the televised wedding.
And it says, bottom line, Harry and Amber are still single,
at least in the eyes of the law.
So I'm going to say that I think that that's BS.
Oh, really?
I was going to say that I could kind of get on board.
with that. I can get on board with the idea. I just don't think that that's the case. And I'll say
why. Because even if you have a planned airing date of a show, it's never fully guaranteed. Things can get
shifted, pushed, whatever, for whatever reasons. So I think that's like a huge gamble to be like,
oh, we decided to not have them get married because we didn't want a spoiler.
What if this show didn't air for like a year from now?
That's the case that you're going to say?
Oh, I guess I just didn't think of it like that.
I guess I just was like, okay, logistically, I get it.
They didn't get married because, sure, some Sleuther would be able to find a marriage
certificate and be like, nope, nope, at the very beginning and be like, no, he chose Amber.
Here's the marriage certificate.
Call it a day.
I just like, maybe I'm dumb.
Maybe that's why I was on reality.
TV because I'm just that gullible.
But then it backfires the other way and people just say, oh, you didn't get married.
There's no marriage license out there for him.
So the show must be fake.
It's like you can't win in that situation.
So that to me just doesn't make sense.
And I just think by the way they were acting and how fast the motions were going and the
laughing and all of that, it just lends me to think that everybody was in on this, that this was
not legally binding and this was a show that ended in a wedding. The other thing we already talked
about, which was the Harry addressing who he hooked up with. The other thing I want to talk about
is the clip that I sent you, which was the mentors and Harry. And they were asking the mentors
if they go, the person doing the interview says, like, I know you can't spoil it, but what did
you think of Harry's final pick. And Georgia and Amanda both say they're all for it. They really
liked it. His buddy, Sunny, does not even crack a smile and is like, hard pass. Absolutely not.
Says like, I would not have picked that person. If there is a person at the end of all of this,
if there was a decision. I caught that too. That would not be my choice. And I was like,
wow, right? For someone who did not, we did not get a lot of sides to Amber this season,
for him to say such strong statements. He knows something that we do not know.
Well, we do know that Harry calls him one of his best friends. Yeah. So Harry kind of puts his head
down and kind of like giggles like during this whole interaction. Um, so I thought that that was
pretty crazy.
The other thing I wanted to bring up and we'll end on this
is that
we said in a previous episode
that Latia Gar,
Grants Runner Up, had posted a video
with
Amber and somebody,
a fan calling them like twins.
And I said, they must know each other.
I don't know how.
Well, Latia has posted
a video today and I'm going to
play the audio from it
because it definitely gives us some more information.
My cousin married Harry Jousy on Netflix yesterday,
and I experienced on Bachelor, I was number two.
Something that was very obvious from my season that I can already see with hers,
that she is the victim of a lopsided edit.
I was the beneficiary of a lopsided edit.
I feel like they try to make everybody sympathize with the one that's going to get dumped
because that's better TV.
We like they want to elicit emotional reactions and they want like all the speculation. I'm starting to see
Some discourse online and some takes and some videos that are being made and hot takes about Amber. I just want everybody to know lay off of Amber. Okay, it's like a video going around of her getting on a plane
That guy is not her boyfriend up. She's this big. She weighs 15 pounds. She's literally the size of a lobooboo. She gets picked up all the time that guy's not her boyfriend
And it's definitely not any indication about her relationship with Harry
The second part is people are saying that she wasn't ready for marriage.
Like, it looks different on everyone when they're ready.
She was as ready to be there as any girl that was there.
I promise you, including everyone, including everyone.
So lay off and there's a reunion in two weeks.
And so they're leaving everything really murky so that everybody can fight it out and they love the discourse online.
So keep it up.
Keep watching it.
Keep talking about it.
All the rest of it.
Lay off of Amber.
She didn't do anything wrong.
She is not a shady person.
That being said, both of the girls are stunning and beautiful and deserve love and opportunities.
I know that we love hating women.
Just don't hate Amber.
That's my cousin.
Stay tuned.
Everybody, watch.
Click the link.
Post questions, but freaking relax.
Hate women, but you don't get to hate my woman.
Listen, I think she's being a little tongue in cheek there.
We are huge Latia fans here on the pod.
We absolutely adore her.
And I love that she, you know, said, hey, I know that this is what's happening with the
edit because I'm the one who got that, the good side of that on mine.
Come on now.
She got the come on now, you know, on her breakup.
And she came out looking like a shiny penny.
People loved her for it.
And now, you know, Latia is on Secret Lives and Mormon Wives on Hulu.
So we love that for her.
First of all, I'm obsessed with the fact that I have confirmation.
that they're cousins.
I have so much I want to know about this.
So if we are able,
we should have them on the same episode.
That would be great,
but I don't think Latia is allowed to do interviews right now
because she's currently on Mormon wives.
And they don't let them do press
until the show is actually airing.
But obviously, we would love to have Latia back on
once she's allowed to.
But of course, I want Amber even more now
because I'm like, oh my God,
your cousin was the runner up.
And literally that was only,
within the last year and a half.
So how did you get onto this show?
I know that there's a bachelor,
there's bachelor producers on this show.
Is it one of those scenarios, Heather,
like you said in the beginning about casting?
One hot girl's got another hot girl,
who's got another hot girl,
who's got more hot friends.
Absolutely.
So I don't think that it's just her cousin randomly applied for this show.
No, I'd love to hear the whole backstory of how she got
whether it was Latia saw this or heard about this and encouraged her or somebody reached out
to Latia and asked her for references or something. But I think that it's it's a great little
nugget of connection. Second of all, yes, there's a lot of discourse, I guess, right now on the
internet about Amber. I don't get it. Again, I'm not super invested into either one of these
women in that way where I'm like outwardly like upset about this. So if you are,
chill out. It's just a TV show. We're all here for fun. Harry's laughing through the entire thing.
It's fun. But it does make me interested because I don't want to go too much into it, but there's a lot of stuff on
the internet like she was alluding to saying that they're no longer together. So I can't wait to hear how
this kind of all plays out on the reunion, which we will obviously be recapping for you guys when that
happens and coming back. But overall, as we close it out, what did you think of let's marry Harry?
I really enjoyed it. Me too. I really enjoyed it. I wasn't sold on it in the beginning.
You know that. You were like, let's marry Harry from the get. I was not. It was, it took me some
time. But like, yeah, I like Harry Jousey now. I love it. We're fans. Well, we hope you guys have
liked this recap. Tell us, leave us a voicemail. 844, 5 almost. Would love to hear your thoughts.
Do you think that the wedding was real? Do you think that Harry made the right choice in choosing Amber?
What did you think about the mentors? We want to hear all of it. So definitely, you know,
leave us a voicemail. Maybe we'll play them when we go back to do the reunion. If you've got a
question that you would like to ask one of the girls from Harry's season, leave us.
a voicemail 8445 almost. Maybe we'll play it for them if we get them on the pod, if you've got
a question. But this has been really fun, Deanna, as always, thanks so much for having me here
to do this. This has been another fun show for the books for us. I need my next obsession,
Heather. Thank you. Let's find out what that is. Maybe people have an idea of what they think
we should recap next. Also, leave us a comment or a voicemail.
about that. But until then, I've been Heather. I've been Deanna. Bye. Bye.
