Starting point is 00:02:51 Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. This is the Ben and Ashley I, Almost Famous Podcast with IHartRadio. Welcome back to Almost Famous. It's Ben and Ashley back together to bring you the latest headlines in Bachelor Nation. But before we get into it, we're already in October. Ashley, I feel like you would be a fall fan. Ben, are you know me? Ugh, I hate fall. What?
Starting point is 00:03:19 I have like a fear of fall. I think like I have a fall phobia. There's such thing. I hate it so much. What comes to mind when you hate fall? It feels like heart breaks to me. I've been really like digesting these feelings lately since this temperature has really turned in Rhode Island.
Starting point is 00:03:35 And like it feels like heart. heartbreak, depression. I feel like it's a morning grieving period. See, I love the summer. My wife loves fall. I love, like, I don't, like, I'm not like super happy if it's like 110 and humid, but I would much rather have that all year long than I would anything else. There is a coziness to fall and there's a smell in the air, especially out here in Denver, leaves are changing. but it's also like pointing to hey we're going to have to be inside more coming up and I don't like that it gets dark early it's already too dark too early I don't like I don't like the brisk feeling I don't I like a summer night a hot night I don't like to go outside with a sweatshirt I like to wear as
Starting point is 00:04:23 little as possible I like to be sweaty to some degree when I have to be fully made up I don't like being sweaty but like I like an 85 like that is my ideal temperature I get cold at 70. I am a full-fledged summer girl and everything about it turning into fall feels like heartache to me. Well, it's going to happen, hopefully, God willing, for many more years of your life. I know, right? I know. I thought about that too. I was like, I really shouldn't live, I need to live in Florida, I think. Yeah, it might be worth it. Now, this is a good time for your family. I'm assuming Audrey's does very well in the fall. You would think, right? You would think that like fall would be Audrey's time because that's when everybody wants to be cozy to buy a fireplace with like a
Starting point is 00:05:09 PSL but actually September's a weird transition period for us always has been because the tourism of that area goes away and the kids are just settling into school doesn't get into like full effect into October yeah October November December are always good months for Audrey's but the September strange yeah well we're in the transition everybody football season is upon us. The leaves are changing depending on where you live in the United States. I guess in Canada too, this airs up there. I'm guessing fall in Canada though is beautiful. It is that time of year where it gets darker, quicker, and there is a brisk feeling in the air. But it doesn't stop Bachelor Nation from causing some headlines. Let's start with this one. Kelsey
Starting point is 00:06:00 Anderson says, Joey G. Traders casting put wedding planning on pause. Hmm. That is interesting, but it should only be a month or so. Kelsey said that we are locked in with our welcome party venue. That's exciting. We did it right before Joey left for traders, but now we're kind of paused because he's filming and has no phone access.
Starting point is 00:06:24 I've heard that like you're able to like make a phone call maybe once a day when doing traders, but definitely not like a wedding planning type stuff. she says that she got so much done to plan for the big day before he left for Scotland said there's a lot of nitty gritty things to come closer to the day we where we've done food tasting and where we're at right now is very excited and joey is the bridezilla of the two of them she says he's very definitive and um she just says that she's kind of like go with the flow i don't care as long as you're there very cute She'll be happy. As long as Joey shows up, everything's good. He's going to show up.
Starting point is 00:07:06 Seems like he's pretty pumped about this, and she is too. It's going to be fun to follow their journey to the aisle and to hear all the details, especially when he gets back from Traders. Speaking of other reality shows, we're going to talk about Dancing with the Stars. Hannah Brown reignites with ex-Tyler Cameron backstage at Dancing with the Stars. Yacht Rock Night. We also have to get him a shout out to the cameraman for after Tyler's dance, Hannah was the first one shown and not Tyler's fiancee. That's really the headline of it all.
Starting point is 00:07:45 People were like, oh, cameraman got sloppy, got messy, because, yeah, he went over to Hannah. It feels inappropriate. It does, it does. But it's ABC too. Of course, they're going to capitalize on it. I did feel for Tate in that moment, and Tyler for having to deal with the guilty weirdness of it all.
Starting point is 00:08:03 Tyler's had probably a weird week with all the relationships because his partner, Shanna, is, you know, with Brian Austin Green and he got on Instagram this week and he got a little sloppy himself. He was saying that he was being transparent and, you know, openly emotional and saying that he really depends on Shana and Shana. Shana. Shana, yeah, yeah. really depends on Sharna and she is so busy he's he's not really getting he's just not feeling like he's like in a real real like I don't know what he how he wanted to describe it but she's super
Starting point is 00:08:41 busy they haven't had a lot of quality time and uh I don't know people have a lot of opinions on it especially since Tyler is her partner um yeah I mean I don't know that he was really expressing jealousy in that moment but at least if there's a certain degree like a jealousy of the time that Tyler it gets of her right now. And it's just what Dancing with Stars is, though. It happens every season, and it has since the beginning where couples talk about how much time they spend away from each other. And I think it takes unique couples who understand what's happening, understand the environment and the benefits of the show to say, okay, for two months, three months, you're going to be distant from me. And that's okay.
Starting point is 00:09:25 I don't know. We'll see. I just don't think Take probably cares. I think she's pretty confident in her relationship with Tyler. I think even with the cameraman doing this, she's probably like, that was weird, but it doesn't like affect me. Yeah, she seems super cool like that.
Starting point is 00:09:39 But also I have to say that they like plot to put Hannah and Tyler together in a way that I don't really think a lot of other Bachelor alum are put together. Because, and I think this is why I think it's because, It was such a what if situation and like what would have happened if you gone down that rabbit hole. I think normally with the ending of a season, you're like, oh, you picked the person that you liked the most and then you dated or you were engaged and then you either got married or you broke up. I think with Hannah, because her season ended so unhappily and there were so many like questions as to why she didn't pick Tyler. and I know that she went down her own, like, exploring Tyler, IRL. And I think that that's what puts the two of them together.
Starting point is 00:10:37 And, like, people are more interested to the two of them together than, like, any other runner-up and lead. Yeah, but, hey, let's also get over it. Oh, no, I know. I mean, like, how awkward is it? But that's what I mean, like, I feel for them because they're perpetually put together like this. And they have to see each other. They've seen each other so many times, at least yearly since. There's nothing.
Starting point is 00:11:03 And I do feel bad for her husband, too, because it's just got to be super awkward and annoying. Yeah, just weird. Speaking of weird, Doug Mason, if you don't know him, well, it makes sense on why you don't. He was on Taylor-Frank-Paul's season of The Bachelor's that never aired. He also is the supposed winner. I think it's pretty... Supposed. I think it's, like, honestly, out there.
Starting point is 00:11:26 Well, the headline is Doug Mason speaks out after Taylor, Frankie Paul admitted to cheating. Okay. Yeah. So we don't really know why he did this, but I think that because there's a video out there, you can go watch the video, he's like smiling through it all. He's just like one of those guys. He's like such a bachelor stereotype. I don't even want to describe it, but like if you guys go and watch the video, you can see how he's like a bachelor stereotype.
Starting point is 00:11:52 He gets on Instagram and he's like, hey, I. know that like something happened like I was with someone right and I'm no longer with them and I haven't been with them for a while and I just want to let you guys know I'm good we've all moved on and it sounds like maybe he's addressing what happened on secret lives a couple weeks ago when the whole season dropped and that was that like you know he was cheated on and she wanted her lawyer to break up with him so it could be that it could be like hey I'm fine I've moved on don't worry about me and what you're seeing right now is delayed. And I think that there's also a little something in there that is him alluding to the fact,
Starting point is 00:12:32 hey, ABC, don't worry, I have officially moved on. So if you need another Bachelor, you can think of me. Because that's what's always tried to establish before going into a new picking elite. It's on BachelorNation.com. Oh, that was on BachelorNation. It's the top story, actually, on there. So they gave him permission to do this. they might have encouraged him to do this.
Starting point is 00:12:56 ABC had to be the ones that approved this. He's still under contract. Yes. Okay. So Doug made this not for bachelornation.com, but they decided to amplify it. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:11 So they're all behind this. Let's not be stupid. They're trying to create some way to bring a Bachelor out of this last season with a story that we can all relate to. My opinion is that would be a grave mistake. mistake. A huge mistake. I also don't think it answers the never-ending question of, well, Taylor-Frankie Paul's season ever air. I think this is a pretty good indication that, no, it will never air. They are going to make sure every piece of the puzzle is put in place
Starting point is 00:13:40 from the season without it ever making television. And if it does make television, it's going to be like a cliff note of, hey, go and watch if you want. Anyways, they're behind. They have to be supportive of it. If they're listening to this, I would tell them, hey, don't make one of the guys from this last season The Bachelor. I don't think that's going to answer the questions and bring the solutions that you're hoping for. I could be wrong, but if I'm right, at some point, I would like you all to admit that, hey, I am in support of you. I'm just yelling out from the rooftops. Here's some ways that I think as fans, we want to see it play out. And consistently, it goes the other direction. I don't know why.
Starting point is 00:14:26 Yeah. Yeah. Is that fair? Oh, yeah. Okay. Love horror movies, but also working on yourself. Mental Health is horrifying is the podcast where those two worlds collide. I'm Candace Green, a registered psychotherapist, and I'm inviting you to journey into the darkness with me. I explore the mental health themes behind your favorite horror stories
Starting point is 00:14:53 and what they can teach us about fear, resilience, and healing. It's self-care. with a sinister twist. Listen to Mental Health is horrifying on the free IHeart Radio app or wherever you get your podcasts. If anyone wanted to commit a murder, up here would be the greatest place in the world
Starting point is 00:15:13 to hide the body. But no one will find it. He acted friendly. He talked friendly. He sounded friendly. They all knew that I did the scary boogie stuff and they said maybe she'll find out where this girl is.
Starting point is 00:15:29 I saw him violent. Backhanded a bow. And that's exactly what made us all think he had something to do with it. The clock is ticking down and the woods are calling. There are a lot of demons in Putnam County, but I've met the devil, and he's real. I'm Paul Solitarev, and this is season two of the devil's quarry. Listen to The Devil's Quarry Season 2 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. And to hear The Devil's Quarry Season 2 ad free with exclusive content, subscribe to Lava for Good Plus on Apple Podcasts.
Starting point is 00:16:23 Hey everybody, it's me, W. Comaubel. This season of my podcast who's with me, I speak with two-time Emmy winner and weirdly one of my best friends, Kevin Avery. Everything up to that point Build you as a comic Us going on the road Doing Battle Mountain and Ely Yeah you took me You were one of the first people
Starting point is 00:16:39 Took me on the road Which is funny because at the time I was like I don't know if I like this guy With rapper Actor David Diggs The jump off for me was Hamilton And it was the most popular thing In a very long time
Starting point is 00:16:53 But it was still for me It was me and my friends Make him something dumb Bruce Lee's daughter And Brandon Lee's sister Shannon Lee Back to your initial point of stewarding my father's legacy and giving my energy to that. You're lending your life to stewarding somebody else's life.
Starting point is 00:17:13 Listen to Who's With Me with me with Debbie Kumabelle on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Dear honies, this is goodbye. In February of 2024, celebrated illustrator and children's book author Patramathers and her husband Michael mailed letters to dozens of friends and family members to let them know that they had died by suicide. By the time you get this letter, both Petra and I will be dead. Next stop, Wonderland. Petra and Michael were by all accounts healthy, happy, and in love. Why did they do it?
Starting point is 00:17:46 And what did it do to the people they left behind? I would have given a million reasons to not leave this world had I known. I keep coming back to, I truly hope, that people. Patriot was a thousand percent on board with the plan. Do you think of him as having killed her? Yes, I do. I hold Michael responsible from my mother's staff. I'm Leon Nafok.
Starting point is 00:18:11 And I'm Alice Gregory. Together we set out to interview everyone who got one of Patriot and Michael's letters, as one married couple trying to understand another. Listen to death of an artist on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Welcome to Decoding Women's Health. I'm Dr. Elizabeth Pointer, chair of Women's, Women's Health and Gynecology at the Adria Health Institute in New York City.
Starting point is 00:18:35 On this show, I'll be talking to top researchers and top clinicians, asking them your burning questions and bringing that information about women's health and midlife directly to you. A hundred percent of women go through menopause. It can be such a struggle for our quality of life, but even if it's natural, why should we suffer through it? The types of symptoms that people talk about is forgetting everything. I never used to forget things. They're concerned that one, they have dementia, and the other one is, do I have ADHD?
Starting point is 00:19:05 There is unprecedented promise with regard to cannabis and cannabinoids, to sleep better, to have less pain, to have better mood, and also to have better day-to-day life. Listen to Decoding Women's Health with Dr. Elizabeth Pointer on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you're listening now. Next headline involves some big names in Bachelor Nation. Caitlin Bristow, Katie Thurston, and Charity Lawson, reunite. Then they meet Joe Jonas, somebody that Ashley has never met. You're joking, right? I knew he'd be defensive. He wanted a reaction out of me.
Starting point is 00:19:50 No, I got him. So, yeah, and like now I have to say, Jared and I were invited to this Kenneth Cole fragrance lunch. Yeah, yeah. But not from Joe personally, from PR people, okay? And I was just like, you know, for the first time, really, I was like, I have too much my point to go to New York on Tuesday night. Can't do it?
Starting point is 00:20:13 Like, can you believe I did that? But Joe, he is in partnership with Kenneth Cole on this amazing fragrance launch. Holy moly. It is hilarious. And it's called, it's called Inspire. Jared will be getting a bottle. It's at Nordstrom. And I am now a non-paid spokesperson for this cologne.
Starting point is 00:20:38 The wild part of this is that you knew the name of this clone without looking at the notes. I know. Is it in the notes here, Inspire? I don't know. It doesn't matter at this point. No, well, it's because if you see the music video, you'll know it's called Inspire because Joe in every way is just inspiring. So, Caitlin and Katie and Charity all went to this party.
Starting point is 00:21:02 and they had a great time. I had the most FOMO immediately after seeing the pictures. I texted Caitlin and I go, so did I miss like a lot of personal interactions with Joe? Or like, can I rest easy? That it was a fine, skip out. And she said it was a very good time, but that Joe was quite occupied.
Starting point is 00:21:24 So, Ben's judgment face. I heard a rumor that he likes them more than he likes you now, he told them. Oh, okay. Quite possible. Don't make me awkward. Okay, so I went to, I had a Jonas concert last night, and I was like, you know, two weeks in a row. I've done it plenty of times, but right now I have to give myself a little break. So I had a great time last night.
Starting point is 00:21:58 It was so fun. Mari was there, Mari Pepin. Yeah. And she had flown. See, we're all not all crazy to DC for the concert. It was her first concert that she took her mom to, first Jonas concert. It was a blast. I brought Dawson and my sister, and Dawson is the second Jonas concert.
Starting point is 00:22:17 He was, this was a little bit more overwhelming for him because the set list is a lot longer on this tour than it was last time, which is great for me. And hard for a four-year-old when it's still going on at 10.45. and he may have fallen asleep for the last five songs. He was very cute, though. Yeah, there's a good chance I would have been sleeping right now. So I go, Dawson, I think it might be like another couple years before you go to another one. And he was like, why? I go, um, babe, you fell asleep.
Starting point is 00:22:48 And he's just like, yeah, it's okay. Like, I want to go to another one. Well, next time, dad's going to be the one that holds you the entire time. But it was great. It was wonderful. And he got some waves, which it really excited him. very, very sweet and cute. Oh, waves from the brothers?
Starting point is 00:23:03 Yeah, from the guys from the stage. It was very sweet. And Mari was on the Jumbotron a ton. I got messages on Instagram today being like, Mari was all over the Jumbotron. Did you make it? No. She was against the barrier.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Great times. Love being a Jonas fan. Well, anyways, the headline is Caitlin, Katie, and Charity all meet Joe Jonas and Ashley is nowhere to be found. Final headline of the week. Cassie Randolph, hen set baby plans one year after Brighton and Cassie got married. Okay, this is a really cute Instagram reel.
Starting point is 00:23:41 She was like deciding while they're to sit my way through the holidays or to get pregnant, decisions, decisions. She kept going back and forth, she liked drinking or like having a bump and like feeling it on her belly. And I was like, girl, that is a, that's life right there, you know, in your mid-30s, like relatively newly married. Like that is the question. have a little bit more fun, live the young married life, or get this going?
Starting point is 00:24:06 What would you tell her? How old is she? I don't know. I thought, like, the way I did it was perfect for us, which was I got pregnant at 33. I had Dawson at 33. Yeah. And we were married for, I think I were married for two and a half years before I had him. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:26 So that was, that was nice. you guys are married for two years to yeah two two two three years yeah beforehand yeah yeah she's 31 so yeah well there you go so she's you know that's a good time and in a year or so it's a good time too but with just you guys you know has such an use such an age gap and you guys were together for so long before you got married too so yeah she's young yeah she's so young she's got enough room for you know the four kids that she wants Tell her that right now. She's third trimester heartburn.
Starting point is 00:25:04 With a toddler too. Yeah. So, yeah, tell her she's going to have four and see how that goes for us. Yeah. Hey, that's all the headlines we have in Bachelor Nation. There's some exciting stuff coming up your way. We're a little over a month now to the Bachelor Nation cruise. It'll be interesting, Ashley, some storylines to follow on that.
Starting point is 00:25:22 Will Jess and Spencer be there? They're announced to be there, but, you know, we know their relationship is no longer going. Tyler Cameron is busy with Dancer of Stars and Joey's on traitors. Oh my goodness. It might just be me showing up with Wells and Bob Guinea to the cruise. There's no way they're not going to be there. How fun would that be though? Bob Wells and I hosting a whole freaking cruise shit. That would be awesome. Bob needs to be a cruise director in his next life. I actually think Dean's going too. So that would be good. Oh yeah. Dean is going. Yeah. Yeah. Anyways. Hey, we'll be back with more content coming your way.
Starting point is 00:25:59 We got the final episode of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Then we have some really fun things happening that will be announced immediately following the next week's ending conclusion of the Ultimate Girls Trip. We'll be breaking down headlines doing incredible interviews. If you haven't listened to the interviews in the past two weeks, there's some great ones out there. Just go back in our feed and find them. Really juicy with Letea, guys. Very juicy.
Starting point is 00:26:27 Diana and Trista are breaking down Dancing with the Stars as well. They will continue to do that even after what we believe will be an elimination of Tyler Cameron. He's kind of been hanging on. No, I can't believe it. Since Taylor Hanson's left, it seems like Tyler's the next one. And then I'm like, well, I got no skin in this game. Exactly. Sad.
Starting point is 00:26:47 Taylor Hanson should not have gone home. His partner is great. I know. I've been watching the dances and stuff, but I don't sit there and in love. in live time and vote or whatnot. But like I feel bad because of the Guermo, you know, he got less, yeah, he got less points. Yeah, sad, but he's loved. It's how it happens.
Starting point is 00:27:08 This is dancing with the stars, guys. There's lots of situations like this. Yeah, let's not get too upset about it. Just dancing with the stars. Anyways, hey, we'll be sit back soon. Ashley and I will be together, and I can't wait to continue to catch up with my good friend. Hey, until next time, I've been Ben. I've been Ashley. Bye.
