Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious. Wait a minute, Sam. Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit. Well, Dakota, luckily, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon. This person writes, my boyfriend's been hanging out with his young professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. Now he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone.
Starting point is 00:00:25 Hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That seems inappropriate. Maybe find out how it ends by listening to the OK Storytime podcast and the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hello, it's Daniel Fischel. Writer Strong. And Will Ferdell from PodMeets World. We are back in Las Vegas and giving the people what they want, a full week of Y2K content. Tell me why. December 29th, 1975, LaGuardia Airport. The holiday rush, parents hauling luggage, kids gripping their new Christmas toys. Then everything changed. There's been a bombing at the TWA.
Starting point is 00:01:30 terminal, just a chaotic, chaotic scene. In its wake, a new kind of enemy emerged, terrorism. Starting point is 00:02:49 This is the Ben and Ashley I, almost famous podcast with IHeartRadio. Welcome back to the Almost Famous Podcast. It's been, and back by very popular man, outrageously popular the man, the man who brings the joy, the truth, the light, the man who lights up our years
Starting point is 00:03:11 with his voice and analyzation of reality television. Easton, welcome back. What an introduction. Wow. Well, I'm glad to be back. I'm so honored to return. I'm glad.
Starting point is 00:03:27 I passed the audition. Yeah, you did. Yeah, and I'm excited to continue this world of perfect match with you, Ben. I'm just having the best time. Yeah, you blew us away. Listeners were scraping at their phones to comment. Please bring Easton back. He's so good at this.
Starting point is 00:03:47 We are breaking down the perfect match, episodes three and four. If you haven't been a part of this yet, we're breaking down the perfect match this season because Bachelor Nation has a lot to do with this season of the perfect match. We have two contestants now starting in episode three from The Bachelor, both Rachel and Clayton are on the beaches in Tulum for the perfect match. We got to follow their story. This is an exciting time for Bachelor Nation to see if something can be rekindled after the massive heartbreaks that occurred during Clayton's season of the Bachelor
Starting point is 00:04:21 leading Rachel to go on to be the Bachelor. Lorette with Gabby Wendy. Today we're going to be breaking down both episodes three and four together because this season is great, but it's long and we need to start consolidating or we're going to run out of time. Like, what do you mean running out of time? Like before we die or? I feel like this could go on for like three months.
Starting point is 00:04:47 Like the show's streaming. It's a really weird thing when a show's streaming and it all gets released and we're still talking about this like two and a half months from now and the show's been aired for two and a half months and everybody's watched it i just feel like we'll get out of date i i agree and i wonder if the dating show model lends itself better to week by week because people love to analyze and like make theories and stuff it's kind of weird to have it all out there at once right yeah it's like the binging thing i also wonder i don't know this world well enough i wonder if i wonder if the money for a show is better when it airs week to week?
Starting point is 00:05:31 Like, why would we ever do it week to week if you're going to get the same amount of money for a show if people just binge it in one night? Yeah. But here's the truth. The press dies off. And so the perfect match is in everybody's thoughts right now, and it's all over the news, especially episodes three and four people are talking about. and in a month, nobody's going to remember it.
Starting point is 00:05:55 And so it's kind of like a flash in the pan because it comes and goes. Where The Bachelor, it's all the only thing people have in us weekly for two months as it's airing. Exactly. Okay. Easton, we're going to get started to just kind of get warmed up here. I know there's a lot of nerves
Starting point is 00:06:12 when it comes to co-hosting the Almost Famous podcast. There's a lot of responsibility. So it's just like kind of rapid fire, some thoughts. How are you liking the show? Obviously, you're here week one. We had Clayton and Ashley for episodes two. You're back for three and four. Pretty far into this thing.
Starting point is 00:06:29 How are you liking it? I'm loving it. I'm in. It's a lot of fun. Again, I don't watch a lot of these kind of like dating reality shows. So I'm kind of like learning the vibes. And it's fun. I'm having a really good time.
Starting point is 00:06:45 I didn't know who any of these people were besides Rachel and Clayton. And I'm loving them. I have like favorites. I have people I dislike. And I'm like forming my own relationships with these people. I'm forming my own perfect match as I watch the show. And I'm having a blast. I'm really enjoying this.
Starting point is 00:07:04 Who are you liking right now? Like who are you rooting for? I love AD and Ollie. They're like my favorite couple. I love them. I know, well, you know, we'll get into it. But I want them to adopt me. I love them.
Starting point is 00:07:19 um and louis i've come around on louis you were a fan of louis at first i've been a fan of louis not because i think he's like the best dude in the world he's entertaining to me and he's kind of like this he's definitely he actually he wants to not be 23 he's definitely 23 years old oh yeah big time uh he threw me for a curveball in uh in episode three and uh i i enjoyed that i thought that was a lot of fun he's really standing out to me and um i we'll get it again i Again, we'll get into this, but I really enjoy Freddie, too. I've been really, I really liked Freddie on the date in this episode. Yeah, so those, but I've had to pick one favorite, A.D. and Ollie, I will die for them.
Starting point is 00:08:02 I love them so much. I think they're fantastic. And it's awesome to see a dynamic that you watch them, and you're like, you could actually work. Like, it's very clear you can work in the real world. And the perfect match is not set up, as we talked about with Clayton, to build those real relationships. but you can meet your partner anywhere and it feels like to me at this point that they are a real couple who really enjoy each other and who can make each other laugh
Starting point is 00:08:29 and they have this dynamic, Easton, you're a married man. They have this dynamic that only exists within like years of marriage where you can kind of like joke with the other person about what's annoying you and you just know it without saying it but the person's like, I know I'm driving him crazy right now and it's awesome. Yes, absolutely. And like, I was watching them and I kept having to remind myself like, oh, they've only known each other a couple days at this point.
Starting point is 00:08:57 Like they. Four days. Yeah, four days. That's crazy. But like I'm like, oh, they've been together six months at least or a year. Yeah. Yeah, it's really, I know that like this setting lends itself to a very intense connection very quickly. But I just think that they're, they get along so well. They seem so compatible to me. Well, it starts out with AD and Ali. We're kind of transitioning from episode two. They're in the boardroom making the decisions on behalf of the house. They decide to send Louis and Alex on a date. Alex is the one that Ali was really pushing to get into the home. I never felt like he was doing it because he necessarily wanted to move on from AD. But I do think Ali was saying it with like, hey, I wouldn't mind looking at her in the house.
Starting point is 00:09:45 for the next few weeks. Yes. Yeah. And I mean, Alex is, is attractive. And I got a shout out this quote from her,
Starting point is 00:09:56 like, introduction. I just, I loved it. I rewound it and watched this two or three times. I am constantly horny. The sex is fire.
Starting point is 00:10:04 I've never been in love. So I want to save my freakier side from my man if, if I find him here. I am constantly horny. I love that. I want that on a T-shirt. It tells mez says on it.
Starting point is 00:10:14 Just, walk around town. I am constantly horny. It's still amazes me at the vulnerability and the transparency that these contestants bring to the beach.
Starting point is 00:10:26 It feels like a theme of the season that they have found not only, I don't know, what is it, 10 attractive people, but 10 very vocal people
Starting point is 00:10:35 about what they're on the beach for. And I enjoy it because again, I go back to and I sound like a record that's repeating itself it makes me uncomfortable and I enjoy it because it's so different than how I would function on a show like this and I enjoy watching it because I have respect honestly for their openness
Starting point is 00:11:01 to just say, hey, I'm letting it all out there. Yeah, I mean, I'm with you. I think if I was on this show, I would behave completely differently than they are. And so that's why I love watching this because it's like, oh, this is what it would be like to be this open and this vocal. This hot and horny all the time. Too hot to handle in a lot of cases. Yes.
Starting point is 00:11:21 So I think on this date, you prefaced Alex's kind of feelings going into this date. They are a very attractive couple. They have a lot of physical chemistry. Here's my take on the date, though. Louis, like, she makes him nervous. I think he's all talk. That's my take on him. he's coming out swinging from the very opening of this show with how smoothy is and what
Starting point is 00:11:48 he can offer somebody and he's kind of confident and he's there he goes on this date with Alex it feels like she makes him shudder meaning he is so like intimidated yes i agree and when they're on the date uh they're they're like in this pool and they do the underwater camera and you can see Alex is like touching his leg and at one point i think she's like playing with his curly leg hair which I thought was it's kind of a weird camera shot yeah very very weird but uh I can tell he's I got the same vibe that he's being he's quietly intimidated at this point and it's like oh god what is this force of nature that I've been reckoning with I had to stop like that shot made me feel awkward because I didn't know
Starting point is 00:12:31 what they were going to be showing underneath the water like I don't need to know that she's touching his leg hair and that he is enjoying it I didn't want to have have to see that. I didn't see it, luckily, but it felt like that's what they were going to back us into. Yeah. It was a, we've talked about the camera work in this show, like the, the, um, ITMs, uh, with the really wide angle and like, and this underwater, the underwater camera, realizing that's an option. I'm like, oh, God, what else are we going to see with this thing? Now they don't know that's there. Is there like a dude scuba diving, like right next to him? Like, how is it, is this a drone camera? Is it on a rope? Like,
Starting point is 00:13:11 in my in my years of bachelor they did have some underwater shots but it was a guy holding this underwater camera that shot was very close i can see like three foot away kind of floating into him be like oh my bad guy's like that's the thing i keep reminding myself too is like they're doing this stuff it's no different from bachelor but like and there's like a you know a guy like me like wearing a backwards hat and cargo shorts is holding a camera like staring at them it's so weird this date doesn't have a lot of like depth to it more than the fact that they just feel like they're both into each other they're both there for similar reasons
Starting point is 00:13:49 they feel like very similar humans at this point Easton it feels like to me there is no shot Louis is going with anybody other than Alex yep but he's uh you know he's he's really into Sandy so like when I saw this date I was like oh it's over it's over for her. They keep showing other contestants talking about how Louis loves a shiny new thing. Louis loves new things. I'm like, okay, well, here's a new thing. He's on a date with her. It's over. And we learned that
Starting point is 00:14:22 that is not the case. It's very interesting. It is very interesting. Freddie and Rachel are also set up on a date. Remember, this is all done by AD and Ali. The really funny dynamic here is AD back at the house. She's telling all the girls how beautiful Alex is and how beautiful Rachel is. And and how nervous she is about her man who also helped her invite these people into the home. I enjoy these conversations because not only did it bring some suspense to the show for me, where I'm like, I get it, AD, you're not wrong here. It's also just funny and enjoyable to see contestants on a reality show in a lot of ways be supportive of other people. A.D. was saying nothing more than just like, gosh, dang it, these people are pretty coming in here. I don't like it.
Starting point is 00:15:14 Yeah, it's, again, this, like, a mechanic of bringing in the new people through the boardroom. It's so, it's so interesting. And it makes you, like, it adds so many different layers to how you're playing the game here. But, yeah, I mean, AD is really excited about everyone that could potentially be coming in. and and what she ends up choosing Rachel. Rachel Rechia are our favorite person. Our girl. I've spent a lot of time with Rachel. It was like seeing a friend on screen. It was really cool. I haven't seen her on screen a long time.
Starting point is 00:15:47 This felt like a very good, like dynamic for her to kind of walk in late, meet this guy. Both these dates, Easton, in my mind, were perfect setups. If they were going to break up a couple currently existing in the house, just to remind everybody, it's Freddie and Madison still in the villa up to this point. point, it was Louis and Sandy in the villa up into this point. It felt like they'd hit a home run when it came to breaking up these relationships because both dates feel really good to me. And they feel like very similar people.
Starting point is 00:16:20 Freddie, if you listened to our last episode where Clayton co-hosted, he talks about just how great of a dude Freddy is. He's everything you think he is. And more, Rachel's an amazing person. And so in my eyes, I'm like, Rachel found her guy. There's going to be no drama between her and Clayton. They might even just say hi to each other, but there's no way there's any crossover here.
Starting point is 00:16:43 There's no way these two entertain getting back together. That would be foolish for them to try to do. Yeah, this painting date is so cute. And they seem to be getting along great. And Rachel Rechia, we know her very well. She's gifted in many, many ways. Painting is not one of her town. I'm sorry, Rachel.
Starting point is 00:17:06 She can fly a plane. She cannot paint. She cannot paint. It is, I'm going to say it right here. It's the worst painting I think I've ever seen. This is all just abysmal. It made me want to turn the TV off when I saw that painting. But the date is so cute.
Starting point is 00:17:21 And I'm like, oh, my God, this is it. And I keep tricking myself because I'm like, oh, this is her mat. She found her guy. They're going to ride off into the sunset. Oh, no. How wrong I was. Oh, God. My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious.
Starting point is 00:17:42 Well, wait a minute, Sam. Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit. Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon. This person writes, my boyfriend has been hanging out with his young professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. Now, he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone. Now, hold up. Isn't that against school policy?
Starting point is 00:18:01 That sounds totally inappropriate. Well, according to this person, this is her boyfriend. friend's former professor, and they're the same age. And it's even more likely that they're cheating. He insists there's nothing between them. I mean, do you believe him? Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him because he now wants them both to meet.
Starting point is 00:18:17 So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not? To hear the explosive finale, listen to the OK Storytime podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Hello, it's Daniel Fischel, writer strong, and Wilfredel from PodMeets World. And we're bringing you Viva Las Content. That's right. We are back in Las Vegas, the city of sin, and giving the people what they want.
Starting point is 00:18:42 A full week of Y2K content. Wait, we're back in Vegas? Tell me why. Well, for the Backstreet Boys residency at Sphere, of course. We sat down with Kevin Richardson and A.J. McLean just minutes before they took the stage and our very own Wilfredel basically became the newest member of the band. Boy band, please. Plus, the man who has the longest running comedy show on the strip joins us and gets his props.
Starting point is 00:19:07 It's Carrot Top, baby. And finally, we all L-O-V-E-Hur, Ashley Simpson-Ross, joins us to talk about her upcoming sold-out Vegas residency. It's a full week of nostalgic interviews you don't want to miss. Listen to PodMeets World on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. December 29th. 1975, LaGuardia Airport. The holiday rush, parents hauling luggage, kids gripping their new Christmas toys. Then, at 6.33 p.m., everything changed.
Starting point is 00:19:47 There's been a bombing at the TWA terminal. Apparently, the explosion actually impelled metal glass. The injured were being loaded into ambulances, just a chaotic, chaotic scene. In its wake, a new kind of enemy emerged, and it was here to stay. Terrorism. Law and Order Criminal Justice System is back. In Season 2, we're turning our focus to a threat that hides in plain sight. That's harder to predict and even harder to stop.
Starting point is 00:20:20 Listen to the new season of Law and Order Criminal Justice System on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, I'm Jay Shetty, and I'm the host of the on-purpose podcast. And today I'm joined by one of the greatest athletes of all time, Novak Djokovic. The world's number one male tennis player. He's won 14 grand slams in a glittering career. Novak Djokovic! You've been through so many injuries, loss. I always heard himself.
Starting point is 00:20:53 What has Novak Djokovic done? What goes through your mind when you lose? I just want to be left alone. What has it taken to become Novak Djokovic? It's a consistent practice. It's prayer work, mindfulness, meditation, conscious breathing. It requires more responsibility from you on a daily basis to prepare yourself for the biggest battle. When you reach your 30, you start counting your days to your retirement.
Starting point is 00:21:19 I'm 38 this year. How far can I go? How long can I push my own limits? Listen to On Purpose with Jay Chetty on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast. or wherever you get your podcast. Have you ever wished for a change but weren't sure how to make it? Starting point is 00:21:45 taken big leaps in their lives and careers. I'm Gretchen Whitmer, Jody Sweeten. Monica Patton. Elaine Welter-a. I'm Jessica Voss. And that's when I was like, I got to go. I don't know how, but that kicked off the pivot of how to make the transition. Learn how to get comfortable pivoting because your life is going to be full of them.
Starting point is 00:22:03 Every episode gets real about the why behind these changes and gives you the inspiration and maybe the push to make your next pivot. Listen to these women and more on She Pivots now on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Okay, I have to put you on to these leggings that I've been obsessed with lately. They're from this brand called Tona and get this, the design. behind them also created Lulu Lemon, so they know what they're doing. These leggings are next level. Think buttery soft, super flattering, and very comfortable. But they're also very supportive in the right places. So I started wearing them when the kids and I go out to play, and now I'm basically living in them 24-7. And here's what makes them even better. With every pair you buy,
Starting point is 00:22:56 It helps fund a mental health counseling session for a teen in need. Isn't that so awesome? Tona is on a mission to end teen suicide and self-harm, which we think is so important and so incredible of them. So we partnered with Tona to give you 20% off your order and free shipping. So head to Tonaactive.com. That is T-O-N-A-A-A-A-A-Cive.com and use code iHeart for 20% off in free shipping. Louie and Alex return from their date.
Starting point is 00:23:31 Sandy says that her stomach has dropped. Also, Freddie and Rachel return back to the villa from their date. And as Easton was kind of referencing there, we have to remember that Clayton is still at the villa with no idea that Rachel is going to show up. Clayton is shocked. In fact, Easton, we were all shocked. It's fun to see the two of them together in a house that we can watch.
Starting point is 00:24:00 We have gotten to see it on an almost famous podcast trip before. There did seem to still be sparked. So I wasn't shocked that maybe they would entertain each other. But I was also thinking at this point, Rachel's with Freddie. Clayton is not even going to get the time of day from Rachel. Why would she do that? Again, that would be crazy. Interesting takeaway.
Starting point is 00:24:23 It feels like most of the house, if not all, of the house had no clue that Rachel and Clayton would know each other. Yeah. It seems like most of the people there, maybe all of them have not seen The Bachelor before. Like they seem very, like they're aware of it. But I don't know. There wasn't anyone that was like,
Starting point is 00:24:40 oh my God, it's Clayton from the Bachelor. Like, they have those reactions to other people. Like Juliet got a big pop from all the Cesta Key fans out there were losing their minds. But they didn't know that they knew each other, let alone had this dramatic history.
Starting point is 00:24:56 and Clayton says that the last time he saw Rachel in person was about a year ago and I was thinking about that and I'm like was that the almost famous trip I got so excited because I mean I wasn't there personally but I was like oh my god that's I wish he I was really hoping he'd say yeah it was about a year ago in in Pebble Beach California with the almost famous podcast so so by then internationally I was over that you can listen to it anywhere
Starting point is 00:25:24 You listen to my immediate reaction. I think I talked about it on the on the podcast. But yeah, their reaction or they're re unite, uh, rekindling. Yeah, their reunion. I was expecting it to just be like, oh, hey, I'm doing, I'm here too. Like, it's, it's good to see you. Like, may the best man win and then just kind of like go on their merry way. Oh, God.
Starting point is 00:25:48 It didn't happen. How did this happen? Like, how did they, how that spark get re-ignite it? I think it was a hello to a can we come talk conversation where it and it happens at the end of the night. I think both had started to realize that if not for each other they were going home, you know, the beauty of reality television and how these shows are set up, nobody really wants to go home. You don't say yes to this experience and you don't get in shape for this experience. You don't buy clothes for this experience. you don't start prepping for this experience
Starting point is 00:26:24 with the idea that yes I'm just going to give it a good couple hour shot here. There's a lot of reasons why you want to stick around. I think that is something that we have to remember when it comes to the Clayton Rachel dynamic is it definitely felt like Clayton had no
Starting point is 00:26:40 interest in Juliet any longer that the two of them were holding on by a thread and that he knew if he didn't make the move first she would be probably dumping him as soon as she was set up on a date with somebody she liked just a little bit more. Rachel comes into a house with some strong couples that already exist.
Starting point is 00:26:58 And really her shot is with Freddie. Kind of shockingly, because I don't see it, the Freddie Madison relationship. I definitely see the Freddie Rachel. I don't see the Freddie Madison relationship. You know, Freddie seems pretty stuck on Madison. He comes pretty much right back to her when he walks into the house. This all comes up to Nicholas Shea kind of sharing with us The two ladies will be leaving at the end of the night
Starting point is 00:27:26 So two of these ladies that are in the house currently People who have been in cup relationships previously on the perfect match And some of those newbies could be going home Alex and Rachel are obviously newbies But they had great dates This brings us to what I think the perfect match We would call like the cocktail party Where everybody starts to have to come together in some way
Starting point is 00:27:51 to see who's going to match and who's not. Yeah, and I was thinking about the Madison Freddie relationship. And, like, Freddie goes on the date with Rachel, and Madison's just bawling. She's, like, so sad. Yeah. And I think, I can't remember who said it. If it was Louis or one of the British guys was like, oh, you think that he just went away to war.
Starting point is 00:28:13 And I was sitting there and I'm like, yeah, yeah, I'm like, screaming my TV. I'm like, you've known each other for like 72 hours. Why are you reacting this way? And I know they just want to, you know, they want to hang on. They want to hang on to each other. They want to stick around. It's, it's, it's, Ollie says that she's, that Madison's manipulating him with her tears. This made me, I'm not a Madison fan at this point.
Starting point is 00:28:35 I, I don't like Madison. I want her to be cast away immediately. And, but, you know, then we start this game of musical chairs at this cocktail party. We're going to figure out who has to go home and who gets to stay. There's a lot of interest at Alex at this party. A lot of people have a wandering eye. Yes. Madison, you know, she was kind of a character, not top of mind until this moment.
Starting point is 00:29:04 She was so emotional that it did rub me the wrong way. You came on this show. You just met this guy the day before. you're so sad it feels it does feel in a lot of ways where freddie is a sensitive fellow that this will play into his decision making because he doesn't want to make madison cry i just don't see it easton i don't see it it frustrates me like it frustrated you i don't like that she's doing this uh everybody else there is handling it with respect and humor where it's like gosh dang it yeah our guy went on date with a hot girl or our girl went on a date with a hot guy, she absolutely breaks down, which to me would be in a lot of ways a red flag on a show like this
Starting point is 00:29:53 where it's like how emotional can you really get after 48 hours of knowing somebody that they just went on a date that they didn't even choose to go on. They got told they were going on it. It's not like he was like asking for it. That's true. It's so bizarre, but, you know,
Starting point is 00:30:12 I guess that this is the nature of perfect man. And I get to see some relationships. Alex is getting a lot of attention from the guys. It is a very superstar moment for her. She comes into the house and every head turns. I think that almost goes against her because so many people are interested in her that I think a lot of the guys are nervous to even talk to her because they know that if they do,
Starting point is 00:30:42 they might get convinced to go a different direction. I also don't know how much interest she showed anybody other than Louis. I mean, I think there was obviously some single men in the house or some men that were a lot more accessible to switching to somebody new than Louis. But I kind of feel like she didn't play it as hard as she could have. I think she had Clayton. She could have gotten Clayton in a second. I could honestly have seen her.
Starting point is 00:31:16 I don't know where Freddie's mind was at. It felt like Freddie was very much a free agent, but shockingly, he maybe isn't. It just didn't make sense. Yeah. At one point, Ollie talks to her. And again, like we said earlier, like I think he just wants to have her around
Starting point is 00:31:36 because she's nice to look at it. And it's like, oh, it would be fun to just kind of have her nearby, but I don't think we're going to be the match. But I agree. She's only really shown interest in Louis, and I, you know, I wonder if she, she's from Temptation Island. I wonder if she is aware of Louis's reputation. I do really, I enjoyed, they go on like a, they go off on their own, Louis and Alex, and they do like a speed dating thing because Louis's like really trying hard, like, do I need to? Oh, yes, which is. This is so funny. I forgot this scene.
Starting point is 00:32:08 It's so good. He's trying to decide if he's going to leave Sandy and go with Alex. And something I just thought was funny is he's like, we need to do a speed dating thing here. Like, let's get to know each other. And then, like, then he has just nothing to say. He has a no question. She's like, are you, are you interested in anything? He's like, uh, what's your favorite color?
Starting point is 00:32:31 It's so good. It's such a, I mean, that's what I'm saying. I think she throws Louis off. Yeah. I don't think he has the confidence that he, like, communicates and has shown most of the season. I think she intimidates him, and he's nervous about that. For whatever reason, she makes him so nervous. And you see it there.
Starting point is 00:32:56 Well, this kind of goes back and forth. It comes all back to the Clayton and Rachel conversation. Ultimately, no big shockers here. Ollie and AD match first. Then you have the Freddie and Madison match. I think that is a shocker, but we've kind of talked to that here. And at that point, Rachel's seeing that maybe this date that she went on is not going to be something that keeps her around. Daniel and Lucy match, not surprising.
Starting point is 00:33:27 So we have Rachel and Clayton. We have Louie still sitting out there deciding between at this point, Sandy and Out. Alex. Clayton wants Rachel to match. Yeah. Easton, as we live in this vacuum and in this moment, I hear this and see this. And I am saying, I remember when Rachel co-hosted a show with us. And I feel like I asked her. I said, there's no way you got back with Clayton, right?
Starting point is 00:33:59 And she didn't answer me. I'm at this point going, what are you doing, Rachel? I get it because I want Rachel around. And so there is the side of me, Easton, when it comes to gameplay, that's saying Rachel just say yes, but don't get too invested into this and wait until the next week
Starting point is 00:34:21 when somebody new is here. I want you on this show. So just do what you got to do to get on the show. But there's a twinkle in her eye that I see that makes me feel like goodness gracious Rachel you're still into this guy like this is real for you
Starting point is 00:34:40 I got the exact same vibe and we see you know things go a different way later on and we see her reaction and I felt so bad for her because like going into this I was remembering how Clayton treated her
Starting point is 00:34:55 on The Bachelor and I was like oh there's no there's no way there's no way but like when you're especially in this you're in Tulum you're in this, like, you're back in a very similar scene, how easily can you slide back into those emotions and remember those initial connections you had? Those are hard to ignore in those
Starting point is 00:35:13 situations. Clayton says something to her that I found, that really stuck out to me. I enjoyed. He said, I believe everything happens for a reason. It's the screensaver on my phone. And that's so good. With respect. to Clayton. It's so deep. Goodness gracious. I've never heard it before. It's so deep. So then after that moment, anytime, I was watching
Starting point is 00:35:44 this with my lovely wife, Allison, but anytime someone would like, kind of say like a cliched platitude or something, we would just go, it's a screensaver on my phone. Yeah. I'm always horny. Yeah, I'm costly horny. It's a screensaver on my phone. And I wonder if
Starting point is 00:36:00 Clayton actually does have a have his lock screen to say everything happens for a reason. I hope he does. And I hope it helps him. Bless his heart. It helped to make this decision that he wants to get back with Rachel. Pause here for a second. Allison does watch this with you. She's not big into reality television either. Is she enjoying the perfect match? She is she is tolerating the perfect match. She's not at home right now, desperately wanting to watch episode five um but she she was she had fun and she like i i was just i put it on and i'm like oh she's going to be on her phone immediately but she was like locked in and she kept like pausing
Starting point is 00:36:43 it to be like okay here's what i think all he has to do here so she got more locked in than i was expecting uh so i think she's more into it than she's letting on too yeah it is it's jessica for me they're both big readers i thought she was just going to be kindling the whole time during this show but no she watched it also which shocked me uh and surprises me at every level. I don't know what it is about this show, but we're hooked. My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious. Wait a minute, Sam, maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.
Starting point is 00:37:19 Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon. This person writes, my boyfriend has been hanging out with his young professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. Now he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her. gone. Now, hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That sounds totally inappropriate. Well, according to this person, this is her boyfriend's former professor, and
Starting point is 00:37:40 they're the same age. It's even more likely that they're cheating. He insists there's nothing between them. I mean, do you believe him? Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him because he now wants them both to meet. So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not? To hear the explosive finale,

Starting point is 00:41:36 them. Every episode gets real about the why behind these changes and gives you the inspiration and maybe the push to make your next pivot. Listen to these women and more on She Pivots now on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Rachel and Clayton end up saying yes, let's match. We see a them go back to the room together. It feels comfortable and also uncomfortable in a lot of ways where they're kind of reintroducing each other to one another, even though they have had a history. They will now be spending the night together in this hotel room for the first time in years since Clayton was the bachelor in the fantasy suites week, which we all know,
Starting point is 00:42:28 you know, blew up in his world and also hers. She was crushed. But they say yes to each other. It is a source of comfort for them to reunite in Tulum. Then we get into the Louis situation going into this evening. I thought there was no question he was going to be going with Alex. But we see something in Louis that I don't know. I think it's a big moment for Louis. I don't know if anybody has ever seen this from Louis before, where the shiny new thing, even though it's shiny, very shiny, he says, no, I'm going to go back to what I have. I think it's a great moment for him. It's one we should celebrate. Everybody's pushing to get with Louis. Juliet at this point is saying, hey, Louis, we're friends. Let's just make this thing work. And he kind of laughs and says,
Starting point is 00:43:19 there's no way. Sandy comes into the conversation, not wanting to work hard at convincing him. She just pretty much says, do you do what you want to do? I'm not going to try to convince you here. And I love that. There's like a confidence in Sandy. And Alex is sitting off to the side, fully expecting Louis to come back to Alex. But he doesn't.
Starting point is 00:43:43 He picks Sandy. It's beautiful. It's a big moment of growth for Louis, for me personally. I don't know if he was actually going through growth. But at least my experience, yeah, my experience of Lou, I'm like, wow, this guy's really like learning about like, connecting emotions to these feelings he's having and looking at a future with this person, not just what is exciting to me right now. However, we can't ignore that during his speed dating
Starting point is 00:44:10 with Alex, she said something about, well, I think she said something like, you seem like the type of guy that like needs more than one person or something, but like I'm down to share. And he's like, Oh, really? A thruble. And he's like saying, hmm, what can I? And so then with the confidence of a 23 year old man on a reality show, he walks over to Sandy. And he's like, maybe a thruple situation, maybe perhaps. And she's like, no, not at all.
Starting point is 00:44:42 And he's like, okay, worth a shot. But I forgot that. At that moment, I think he realizes what he stands to lose. And he stays with Sandy. It's really, it is really beautiful. I do feel bad for Alex because she she is only there for a day right? Like she goes home immediately
Starting point is 00:45:01 And it feels like she in her mind did all the right things She petted his leg Talked about throuples And I think she thought Hey what else could I have done here? Yeah We didn't get to know Alex well
Starting point is 00:45:14 There was really one storyline That we got to know about Alex It is beautiful though And I don't know if Louis would say That this was a moment of growth for him or not. But it felt like it. It felt like he was processing a lot, slowly, but processing it, and deciding that, no, this Sandy is somebody I am intrigued by, interested in, and it's good for me. Let's stick together. Their relationship skyrocketed to a depth that did not exist before,
Starting point is 00:45:45 so maybe this will end up being good for them. But one thing that is never good for a couple, Easton, is to see your committed partner in a monogamous relationship. make out with somebody else in front of you in a lot of ways, or at least right beside you. And that's what happens next in the perfect match, because goodness gracious, that's what the perfect match is. The next day, as everybody wakes up from the craziness of the night before, we have said goodbye to Juliet at this point, who says that Clayton and Rachel are going to be boring. Nick Lechay introduces us to something that I'm guessing is tradition on this show, the kissing
Starting point is 00:46:24 challenge where all of your senses are muted and you are now to kiss every person in the house and raid it. A few issues I have with this. One is odd to obvious. It's going to only affect the stronger couples. Yes. The second is how do you not know who you're kissing? Even like all these people are either big or they're small. They have beards or they don't. You, got to be knowing who you're kissing at any given moment. There's no surprises here. Yeah. I mean, if you're like really just out of it and like not paying attention, how could you at least not know that you were kissing Ollie? Like he had to be the one who he's the only guy of the giant beard. It's, you know, and at the very least, like the person
Starting point is 00:47:16 you're matched with, you probably, hopefully you've, unless you're Clayton, you've been kissing a lot at this point. And you probably know how they, how they work. How the, their mannerisms. This kissing competition, the waivers people must sign to be on this show. It's crazy to me. Allison called this consent to the game. And I was like, oh my God.
Starting point is 00:47:41 But then I was also, we're watching them do this. They're wearing blindfolds and they're wearing these noise cancelling headphones or something. And they're just making out all at the same time all in a row. And we're hearing like, you know, to free music in the background. But I'm wondering, like, Nick Lachet standing there, is it just like,
Starting point is 00:48:00 you just hear the sounds of the beach and this just like kissing noises? It must be such a gross, like, thing to listen to as a crew guy there. I couldn't stop thinking about that. Yeah, it is one of the weirdest things with audio. I remember talking about this when I was The Bachelor, because
Starting point is 00:48:16 you're miced up all the time. You know, you go to the bathroom. You forget that you're miced up after a while. You're kissing the noises. is like, these poor audio people have just heard the worst of the worst. Like, they mic up all the people at, you know, 7 o'clock in the morning at 9.30. They're just like, goodness, gracious, turn them off. Nick Lachet's job here is so weird.
Starting point is 00:48:41 He's got to be, he's really, though, fell into his groove with Netflix and all of these odd shows that he hosts. And he hosts it in such a way that does bring humor, but also just he feels. feels disconnected. Honestly, he's just one more body there, um, full of all these bodies, kissing each other. I, I think this game gets better, Easton. If they're going to play this game, like why blindfold and why put noise canceling headphones on? You know who you're kissing. Let's really make it awkward and make them look at each other. Like let's make them recognize what's about to happen. Uh, I feel like these blindfolds and noise canceling headphones are really just an excuse to make this feel like it's
Starting point is 00:49:25 acceptable. Yes. I agree. But I don't I don't know if it works. You're rating people of, you know, I question the couples that didn't rate their partner super high. But again, we go back to our love for Adi and Ali
Starting point is 00:49:41 and they give each other amazing scores. 80 gave Ali a 10. How sweet and cute is that? I love it. There's a point in this challenge where Freddie reveals that he eats
Starting point is 00:49:58 13 boiled eggs every morning and a tomato and a baker's dozen eggs every morning and I can't remember why he said that if it was like
Starting point is 00:50:12 look how good I am with my lips or I don't I wrote that down I was like he eats 13 boiled eggs every morning I don't remember what the context was but we get to learn that about Freddie. Oh, they thought it was a food challenge at first, before they start the challenge. That's why he brings that up.
Starting point is 00:50:31 And also, just before we move too far on from the blindfold, I was just thinking, like, if I was doing this challenge, I keep putting myself in these situations. I think we all do. You have to. I was like, they'd be, we'd all be lined up in a row,
Starting point is 00:50:45 ready to, like, do the kissing, and I'd be on my hands and knees trying to find, like, where I'm supposed to stand. I'd be afraid of stepping off the platform or something. Yeah. It would just be sad. I'd be Freddie pecking. He has an amazing scene of just pecking people. He can't find their lips.
Starting point is 00:51:02 He kisses like a bird. Yeah, there's, I don't get how people don't know they're kissing Ollie. That's something I, like, Lucy gave Ollie a 10. And I see that, and Daniel gets all mad that, like, he's like, how'd you not know it was him? And I have to agree. And that's why I like, I don't want to think that, like, like there's any producer manipulation here,
Starting point is 00:51:25 but I'm like, how could part of this not be cooked a little bit? You know, like it's just such a weird competition. Yeah, you know who you're kissing. Yeah. But at the same time,
Starting point is 00:51:34 kind of like Clayton was saying, last time he was on the show, last, or, you know, last episode, it, there is gameplay,
Starting point is 00:51:42 but there's also not. I think a lot of these people are just kind of winging it and having fun. And they're not really thinking, oh, I should give my partner the highest score, because I'll win it
Starting point is 00:51:50 and then we get to go with the boardroom. I think a lot of them are still just like having fun and being funny and doing crazy stuff. Yeah. I mean, we see it with Louis. Obviously, you would know if you're kissing Louis or Clayton, but Sandy gives Clayton a 10, not, and Louis gets mad.
Starting point is 00:52:05 And you know that that wasn't Louis. So you're giving somebody a 10 who you know is not your partner. I don't know if that's foreshadowing for the future, but it happens. The episode kind of ends after this competition. the winners are Sandy and Clayton they will be going to the boardroom
Starting point is 00:52:28 they do have now the power and control and Clayton and Sandy have a campfire date starting episode four now he just coupled up with Rachel we want to see where the Rachel Clayton thing is going to go but because of the competition
Starting point is 00:52:45 and the rules of the game he is on this date with Sandy thoughts I thought that was fun to put two people that weren't matched up on a day like the winners of the competition make them go on a date that was kind of fun and something I wasn't expecting and but it's just
Starting point is 00:53:03 and I don't know what the timeline actually is here they make it seem like it's like overnight you know and I like to think that it is but it's just crazy to me that he was so hot on Rachel that night and then immediately not it feels or like already climbing
Starting point is 00:53:19 out of the pool. He's like, I'm open, you know, I'm, I'm open to exploring this with someone else. And it's just like, oh, he keeps, he keeps talking about my intuition. I wrote, like, I was writing this down. Like, I, again, I'm sorry, Clayton, you are a friend of the almost famous podcast. We like you. We enjoy you. But my God, you suck here. My intuition. Oh, come on. Give me a break, man. Also, I meant to bring this up the last time I was on. The rooms are so messy. Their rooms are, like, disgusting. I'm sorry. I know they're small.
Starting point is 00:53:52 I know they're, like, busy. It's just crazy. Like, it's just like suitcases with underwear spilling out. There's all the hair product. There's just towels everywhere. It feels like, it feels like a, you're on spring break or something with, like, college freshmen. These are adults. I think that's a good note, E.
Starting point is 00:54:06 I think it's a fair note is these are adults. And if no matter where, I would expect adult adults to clean their room. Like, I just do. Yeah, especially when, you know, there's cameras in there. I mean, come on, man. So, yeah, Clayton is ready to get out of this match with Rachel already. And I mean, at this point, is he like, is he trying to hook up with Sandy? Is that what he, or no, he's excited to see who's a potential for him in the boardroom.
Starting point is 00:54:40 That's what he, he's already looking to the next thing. And is that like, do you think that's Clayton wanting to stick around? or is that Clayton, like, changing his mind like he did as The Bachelor? Like, what's happening here? It's, I think it is the moment, honestly, Easton. So the uproar from the fan base is loud against Clayton. This, I think we could confidently say
Starting point is 00:55:04 that Clayton's time on the perfect match did not help his image and to not bring him fan support like he maybe wanted it to or desired it to. And I would think that, of everything else. I think the fan base would have been okay with them going their separate ways, especially if the two of them sat down and talked and like, hey, this isn't working. But I'm glad we were here another week. And you met somebody and I've met somebody. So let's continue on in
Starting point is 00:55:31 different paths. And it's been great. I think this is the moment. Really, the catalyst of this episode happened so early in the episode where he shows us that he is only, And playing Rachel again, again, and I think this hurts. I think it's weird. I don't know how he thought this was a good idea or why he decided to do it, especially if he went on the perfect match to show that he has grown as a person and that his, he believes everything happens for a reason, all these things. It is the moment that we see that I said, what is he doing? He knows it's, just going to hurt Rachel, especially with the excitement that she showed to maybe rekindling with something with him again. Yeah, I'm just like, and I know he's talked a bit about like, oh, the editing didn't show me in a great light or something. And I'm like, how is like this is beyond like, I don't understand how you can edit this
Starting point is 00:56:40 to make it look different than what it was here. It's, I'm just like, what is going on with this guy? what like it's just it's cruel to to rachel it's it breaks my heart um you know i personally just i was such a big fan of rachel it kills me to see her in pain like this i'm like oh my god he's doing this again this is just so insane clayton damn it's rough it's a rough it's so rough it's tough for him there's no really excuses at this point to what why he's making the decisions he's when you have somebody that you care about, that you have a history with, I think if anything, you can go on this date, but you owe her a conversation before you make any drastic statements
Starting point is 00:57:29 or any changes to your relationship, but he didn't. My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious. Oh, wait a minute, Sam. Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit. Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon. Starting point is 00:58:00 Isn't that against school policy? That sounds totally inappropriate. Well, according to this person, this is her boyfriend's former professor, and they're the same age. It's even more likely that they're cheating. He insists there's nothing between them. I mean, do you believe him? Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him, because he now wants them both to meet.
Starting point is 00:58:18 So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not? To hear the explosive finale, listen to the OK Storytime podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Starting point is 01:02:22 Back at the house during this date, Easton, we see some couples get very upset about the kissing challenge. Shockingly, the kissing challenge caused controversy in the house with some couples, especially Daniel and Lucy. We get a little bit of a glimpse into some people's mindsets during the kissing challenge, but it hurt people.
Starting point is 01:02:49 Shows me two things, Easton. Love to hear what you think. One is, you know, a few days into this experience, people do care about somebody. There are some couples that I think are really invested into each other. Some couples that have really grown and are saying, hey, I don't want to see you with anybody else. as a result, I would have loved for you in the kissing challenge to rate me higher than the other person that you knew was not me. That would have just been a nice thing to give me some confidence moving forward.
Starting point is 01:03:15 Even if you did think that kiss was fantastic, I don't want to have to think about it. It also shows me that the kissing challenge should just not be a thing if they actually want couples to form on the beach. Wow. Yeah, I mean, I agree with you. it's so hard for me to think about like because every relationship I have been in no matter how short lived that did take months and months of like
Starting point is 01:03:45 emotional investment on both parts usually on the other person but it's like hard for me to understand that these people are so connected after just a few days and I know this is like I know everyone we've talked to that's been on the show on The Bachelor like it's just the nature of how
Starting point is 01:04:02 you have no other distractions all you're doing is thinking about your connection with these people so I get it but it's just like it is kind of I don't know it's just it's so interesting to me that like it's just it feels like such a deeply emotional connection and decision to have to make
Starting point is 01:04:18 the kissing challenge is really just a mind field I mean damn like when Daniel and Lucy have this conversation I mean also Daniel's in the shower and Lucy is like oh no I'm like, oh, she'll wait for him to get out of the shower. Maybe we'll get to see some towel action.
Starting point is 01:04:36 No, no, no. She wants to talk about this right now. She is not going to wait. The water's running over him. He's putting the, he's putting the Garnier-Fruitese on, and she's having this conversation with him. It's, and I feel bad for her, but also, like, you know, what, there's a way to do this kissing game to save the feelings of your partner. But also, I mean, it's hard. Like, can you identify everybody?
Starting point is 01:05:00 I don't know, it's, it's tough. It's just, it sets everybody up to fail. I agree. I don't like the kissing challenge. We should get it. Nick Lashay, get that challenge out of here. Yeah, it's hurting, it's hurting people. I don't like it.
Starting point is 01:05:12 It's making me feel something for them. Sandy and Clayton return from their date back to the house. Sandy and Louis, obviously, are going to have to talk. Did this date go great? Did it not? I don't think anybody is too shocked that Sandy and Clayton did not have this magical connection. I think Louie is though frustrated because he is on this date with Sandy
Starting point is 01:05:37 because of the rating system of this kissing challenge. Goodness gracious, I didn't even realize it until now. It feels like this kissing challenge is lasting us a lot longer than I want it to. Rachel and Clayton at this point, reconnect. Louis and Sandy are going to be fine. They're going to work through this. They're going to make this thing work.
Starting point is 01:05:59 But it's the Rachel. and Clayton relationship that I think now everybody's on the edge of their seats to hear what is going to happen because his intuition knows that it's not going to work out between them and he doesn't want to hurt her
Starting point is 01:06:13 even though he's going to and it's just you know the nature of how this thing has all been set up Easton I got to get because I mean I'm biased and we're both biased we love Rachel
Starting point is 01:06:26 she's been a great friend of the podcast Clayton just came on to help us co-host here. I just have a hard time justifying any of his behavior here in any way, shape, or form. He, it just to me feels like such a game place, like moved by him to keep her around knowing it was going to ultimately really hurt her. Yes, I agree. I mean, even if you look at this so coldly, just like a I am here playing. a game. I am playing a board game that means I get to stay on vacation and to loom longer and be on TV. It's still just like it is baffling to me. And I just don't see how you can have, how you can act that way with such disregard to the feelings of the other person.
Starting point is 01:07:19 It's, it's, it's insane. Because like, I, he could have just not, they could have just existed together. You know, she could have come in. You're going to be like, oh, hey, we're both from the same franchise, like, you know, and they did fist bump each other and then this kind of continued on. But he initiated this whole reunion thing, only to kill it 24 hours later. It's, it's so crazy. I feel so bad for her. She's clearly so hurt by this. But, you know, hey, Clinton's intuition said this is the way he has to do. So, hey, my hands are tied, you know.
Starting point is 01:07:54 He needs to check that a little bit. His intuition, I don't think is working out for him because. either by a brilliant joke of the show or just really bad unfortunate luck from Clayton, he decides to go to the boardroom to hopefully set himself up on a new date because his intuition told him this was going to be the best decision for both he and Rachel. The brilliant joke I think here, and I do, I feel like this show has honestly kind of poked fun at him and The Bachelor Throughout really
Starting point is 01:08:30 I mean I think the Bachelor is I don't know how they view it necessarily But there's been these jokes in these Like one-liners that have definitely Poked fun at the Bachelor I also feel like Clayton has kind of gotten Poked fun at a few times here I mean I'm thinking about that challenge
Starting point is 01:08:46 Where his like head was in the water When they were floating and pulling and getting cards And he was too big for the raft Even though Ollie's a bigger dude And he seemed to do it just fine It feels like they almost took a board out of Clayton's raft so that you would sink.
Starting point is 01:09:00 The boardroom has four men as choices for this upcoming week. Clayton is shocked and not able to put himself on a date unless he is also going to be interested in somebody that has not been what he's traditionally interested in. The couple of things that stand out here, J.R. is on this. He's from the ultimatum.
Starting point is 01:09:24 He did a trial marriage with Sandy, which I'd have never used that phrase before. I don't know what that is. I don't know what that is. Yeah. Like is this something? Is this like another game? Like it's that's so weird.
Starting point is 01:09:38 How did that work? Oh, God. I mean, what are we doing? Like really Easton. Like where are we taking society that his description on here is he did a trial marriage with Sandy and they didn't work out for them, but they do know each other well.
Starting point is 01:09:54 So Clayton decides to. put his own interest aside, even though he's probably going to go on match now officially at the end of this episode. We don't know that for certain. We don't know how this plays out. But he matches Rachel and Scott. I think he gives her another chance at a perfect match
Starting point is 01:10:12 by putting her on a date with Scott. We see him leave the boardroom. And Sandy has set AD and J.R. up. her former husband is that what I'm calling him trial husband I guess Trial husband Fling I don't know
Starting point is 01:10:32 she sets AD and J.R. up on a date it's a pottery class I mean good move for Clayton I do think out of all this craziness here we do have to give him some credit that he recognized that he was leaving Rachel
Starting point is 01:10:47 on her own lonely island and that he gave her a shot at a potential partner I do think that was a, in the midst of all this, it's a chapter closing of him doing something good. Yeah, a tiny sliver of redemption. I was really, really hoping when he saw the four guys in the border room, I was really hoping to be like, hey, well, you know, I came here to try new things and be my real self. So I'm going to set myself up with Jalen. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:15 I was really going for that. Oh, my gosh. Oh, that would be amazing. which by the way when they do the like introductions we get to meet these four new guys a couple guys from Love Island and uh jalen from too hot to handle they animate him looking like a demon he leans his head back and they give him red eyes and horns it's like what on earth i just don't know enough about these people to even like understand is that an in joke or something i don't know i don't know now i'm afraid of him like i'm legitimately afraid
Starting point is 01:11:47 of jalen when he shows up i don't want him there yeah But J.R. and AD, another cute date. I'm really enjoying these, like, crafty dates they're setting people up on. The pottery date is very cute. And J.R. is coming in, like, my guilty pleasure, stealing girls from their guys. I was like, oh, damn. But then it's a really sweet moment. They have so much in common.
Starting point is 01:12:11 And they've got, like, they both have an insane amount of brothers and sisters, like seven. And they're, you know, they both have, like, what, three brothers and two sisters or something like that they have they're both scorpios i mean you can't deny that i you know what i couple things i don't know how they get these people to say the things they did like i that carrington says i'm a i'm a self-aware douchebag um who like love bombs girls this guy's going my biggest pleasure is stealing girls from their guys like i just where are they finding these people east what are these people doing and also i'm with you and the midst of all this wild and craziness that is the perfect match and guys talking about
Starting point is 01:12:56 stealing girls and all of these things, the producers are brilliant because there's all this wild things happening and then they put them up on the most wholesome dates of all time. It's so funny. Like there will be a challenge where it's like, okay, you're going to lick each other's buttholes and see if you can identify your partner. And then the next one is, we're going on. a picnic. Like, what?
Starting point is 01:13:23 Yeah. Come pick flowers. Yeah, we're picking wildflowers and doing flower arranging. Oh, it's so ridiculous. There's nothing about this. It doesn't, it's just all crazy. Like, it's a mental roller coaster watching this because as soon as you also start to invest into some person, like 80 and Ollie, she goes on a date.
Starting point is 01:13:45 And as you said, it is cute. Rachel seems to be really into Scott. He has a dark sense of humor. They have a nice little date together. He is trouble. She thinks and feels. But I think at this point she's into it because I feel like Rachel's kind of saying, screw it.
Starting point is 01:14:05 Like I tried to go the safe route. I tried to do the thing that made the most sense. It felt like I'm just going to enjoy my time here. Yeah. Yeah, they get along great. I did think it was funny that Rachel I didn't remember his name halfway through the date because there's times during the show
Starting point is 01:14:21 where I'm like, oh, God, who's that person again? So that's a nice analog for the audience there. But I just want to see, I want Rachel to have a good time. I just want her to be happy and have fun and be treated with respect and kindness. That's all I'm asking for. And she and Scott seemed like the get along great. Something I wanted to point out that goes on back at the villa
Starting point is 01:14:45 that I really enjoy. was, we get introduced to the concept of Louis Logic, where Louis Logic, and he says, the editing is so great, because he says, I'm a smart individual, and then immediate cut to, I've gotten back with my ex five different times. Like five times? My God, fucking Clayton seem like a saint over here.
Starting point is 01:15:13 Yeah, so how do they get these people to say these things is awesome? I'm loving it. I hope we get more Louie Logic as the show goes on. I want to know what else goes on in that man's mind. Yes, Easton, great call out on the Louie Logic. I'm loving it, man. That's what I'm saying. I love this show because I don't fit in. And I feel like I just soak up all the craziness and try to understand what exactly is happening. There's a lot to be left desired at the end of this episode. We have a lot of questions on our mind. One is Sandy's nervous. to bring or to see J.R. again, but she's the one that brought him into the house. Yeah. So the question is, did she just not want to set herself up on a date? Because that would be a little too forward. And to let him come into the house, they can rekindle something maybe like Rachel and
Starting point is 01:16:01 Clayton tried to. Rachel does seem to be beaming with happiness and joy as she enters back into the house. And ADNJR returned to break all of our hearts. They're holding hands. Easton so sad to see that I know this is how the game works
Starting point is 01:16:21 this is perfect match we are not in a fairy tale we are in Nick Lachey's twisted mind and I hope Nick Lichet is making all the decision that would be fantastic
Starting point is 01:16:34 to me he's up in his ivory tower down there in Tulum moving his little pieces around the board for his own amusement but it made me so sad because I really
Starting point is 01:16:44 I had such high hopes for A.D. and Ali and I could see them going all the way. I really could. I was like, will they be the one couple? Will they be like Hannah, Hannah G. and Dylan? Will they just link up at the beginning and then make it all the way? Will they get married and have children? Is that what's going to happen?
Starting point is 01:17:02 I don't think so. We're in danger here. It would be very sad. I'll be upset. If you find me during episode five, well, yeah, five with tears. feeling like I just got played by love. It's because Adi and Ali didn't work. I'm hoping that they find a way to come back together again.
