All right, welcome back to a little bit famous.
everybody. Bob Guinea here
with of course super producer to the
stars, Heather Mundy. And we
are boiling it all down. Farmer
Wants a Life, episode 7.
It has been a crazy
week for our farmers
and our future potential
lives, our courted
ladies. And
we are getting ready to meet the families in this
episode, which I'm very, very excited about. This is
always my favorite part of
all the dating shows is when they get to this
point where it's time to sort of
see where this offspring came from and get sort of boil it down a bit, which I really enjoyed.
Heather, welcome.
Thank you for all of your hard work.
Can you believe we're already like at the end of this journey?
It feels like it's kind of flown by.
Yes.
And yeah, this was interesting.
I can't wait to kind of break down like what we saw.
And for me, some of the stuff I was noting that I didn't see.
because I think that that also is quite telling.
So like you said,
the episode kicks off with,
you know,
our host telling us that the farmers are down now
to their final two women.
And this is the week where they are going to meet each other's families.
So it's not just,
you know,
the ladies' families.
It's everybody is meeting.
So we start off at Farmer Braden's Farm.
And his first is Brittany to meet his family.
And it's Brayden.
mom, dad, and sister, and Brittany's sister and brother-in-law arrive at the farm. And Britney
makes a note to say in her interview that she is not close with her mom. Yes, not close to her mom. We find
out a little bit later that her parents went through a divorce and the house was loud and she
knows that that's not something that she wants in her life, which I thought was pretty,
Well, even the dad noted. He's like, you're very forthcoming. You don't hold back. I appreciate that.
But don't you kind of wish she'd had that conversation with Brayden versus Braden's parents?
Yeah. It's interesting. You know, I mean, it's, again, one of those things you wonder what ended up on the cutting room floor, right?
She seemed very comfortable talking about it. Yeah. But, but yeah, her sister and brother-in-law come in and they are very, well, very important to her. She says she loves
her sister, you know, having such a stable man in her life and such a stable partner and
how much her sister's opinion really matters to her. So this is going to weigh a lot on how
she feels about things, which I think is pretty interesting when they get to talk and it will get
to that. But yeah, I thought it was interesting, you know, what did you, what did you pick
up on right away? I picked up on how uncomfortable they looked, Brittany's family. They just
looked uncomfortable in the situation.
You know, they keep talking about Britney's job being really important.
Reminder, she's in aesthetics.
And, you know, Farmer Braden lives out in the middle of nowhere.
And, you know, she's got to be near a city in order for her job to, you know, thrive.
I really think that they're putting a little too much emphasis on that.
you can build your schedule in the beauty world so that you're doing three days on,
however many days off. You know what I mean? Unless you don't have any sort of clientele.
And I'd hate to think that nobody in the Illinois area that he's in, Homer, Illinois,
is like down to get some Botox or something. I just think it's like they're really painting
this picture that like people don't do that here in his area.
And it's like, it's 2026.
They for sure do it.
Maybe not out of the farm.
Exactly.
So I just think that that is kind of, you know, silly.
You know, they have to find some sort of conflict, right?
When it comes to the final two to kind of throw us off as to like what's happening
in which way he's leaning.
We'll get to his other meeting of the family.
But right off the top, who are you?
still thinking is Farmer Braden's top choice? Are you thinking it's Casey?
Well, I do, of course, at this point, I still think it's Casey. But I start now thinking
like Super Producer Heather Mundy thinks. And I start thinking like, why are they trying to, you know,
fabricate this issue here? Now, however, I will say another little wrench in the works is that they
finally get to the point with the sister and the brother-in-law where they're going to get to
download and they got nothing to say. They have nothing to say. The sister, and it might just be
nerves. I mean, my family was so unique when I went through the bachelor experience because they were
like, let's go. You know, they were ready. Yeah, we loved her. She was great. You know,
here's what we like. And it's like some people are just really comfortable in these circumstances or
these settings and some aren't. And we see that with a couple of the dates or I'm sorry,
the hometown dates or whatever we're calling these. But yeah, I mean, the sister and brother-law were
so visibly uncomfortable that it actually made the brother-in-law say, you know, well, I mean,
what do you think? Do you think they might work? You think they can find it here? Like, I think
even he was like, say something for God's sake. You know, your opinion really matters here. And
and I think it caused Brittany a little bit of pause. Like, I think she was sort of like, does she have
nothing good to say? Is that why she's not saying anything? Yeah. You know, I walked away from this
episode and I think that Brittany is the chosen one personally.
Okay.
Because of the conflict they created on camera.
I just feel the vibes between them are really comfortable.
And when we get to Casey, I think that Casey is very trepidacious about still this experience.
And I know that they've emphasized that it took her kind of a moment to
warm up. And I think that's because the vibes aren't there. It's feeling force. I will say when we get
to it, the kiss that they had, though, was pretty long. It was long or was it? I mean, the damn dude
keeps taking his hat off. I found it cute the first time. Now I'm like, bro, enough. It's like,
and he's doing it. They could just be standing there staring at each other. We don't know.
It could be. I don't like the hat thing too. I'm over it. Okay. So that's our first.
one-on-one. Then we go to
Farmer Sean's farm, and he
has Emily meet his mom and dad
and his siblings, and
Emily's parents and brother
come to the farm. And Sean's
mom asks Emily,
what the next five years look
like for her? That was
yeah, that was her question. I thought was interesting.
Someone either fed her that
question or she's, I mean,
first of all, who the hell knows,
mom? I mean, what's your next five years look
like, when they're 25, whatever. It's like, come on. The next five years. It's such,
that's such a big question for finishing puberty. I don't know. I mean, I don't know what the
hell that means. But I think Emily, I think Emily, first of all, Sean's parents seem very, very nice.
And, you know, all the, all the people that showed up as guests were very nice. But Sean's parents,
I felt like they probably had seen this coming for their son for years, right?
I mean, this dude seems like he's made for this kind of stuff.
And he sits down.
He's, you know, Emily is incredibly beautiful, very poised.
The mom even says, you know, you're so poised and so, you know, just, you have such a way about you, you know.
And I just think these two are a no-brainer.
I do.
I feel like there is, and I know I'm excited because I see you thinking the opposite.
but I think it's going to be Emily and Sean for sure at the other.
Okay.
Well, listen, this was clearly intentional, right?
So the question is, what would you do?
What are you seeing your next five years looking like?
And she says, I'm not in a rush to settle down.
Right.
So then we flash to Sean.
And he's asked the same question by her family.
And he says, I'm ready to have a family.
but he's just like needing to get there financially.
So that's showing us,
they're trying to set up for us,
that they're not necessarily on the same page.
Not aligned.
Not aligned.
Right.
And I also thought it was funny.
I never clocked it until now that Sean is 22 and both of his final women are 25.
Yeah.
I actually was thinking about that today.
When I was watching it,
I was thinking,
you know,
he's 22.
They're both 25.
neither one of them
seem like they're in a race to the altar,
but he does.
He seems like he is just trucking.
And that might be a little bit of immaturity too.
That might be just a little bit of that emotional immaturity.
I don't know if it's necessarily emotional immaturity
or more so what his example was, right?
Like I don't know when did his parents get married.
I think that's a lot of people,
especially ones that come from,
a more traditional background, I think end up wanting to emulate whatever their parents did in a lot of ways, especially if it's been successful for them. You know what I mean?
Sure. Sure. My parents didn't have a successful marriage in the sense that it didn't last. But by gosh, you better know that when I reached the age that they were when they got married, that stuff stuck in my head. I was like, oh, my parents were already married by my age. Oh, my parents already had children by my age. Now when I think about,
it. I'm like, well, my parents were already divorced by my age. My parents already had two kids by
my age, you know? My parents were already on their second marriage by my age. So for better or for
worse, you think of it. You think about it. You think about these things. So maybe that's where a lot of
his, you know, wanting to settle down is coming from. So then we pop back over to farmer,
Braden's farm and we see Brittany and him kind of, you know, oh, this is where we see the debrief with
Brittany and her sister and the brother-in-law that we talked about that was kind of, you know,
in the, they don't like it that he's still in the process of choosing between two women.
Well, guys, another family ends up saying that to you later on and it's like, that's the show.
Have you never?
Honestly, what rock have you been living under where you haven't seen?
He can't tell you, even if he has made his choice.
He's not going to tell you.
Exactly.
There's like no way.
So then we pop over to Farmer Brits Farm.
Here we go.
And Barber Brett's childhood friends come out.
Is this a red flag?
Okay.
I wondered if you were going to say this.
Is this the one chink in the armor for you?
Oh my goodness.
I'm actually going to give a lot of grace here because it is not explained whatsoever.
And I think that when we saw earlier in the beginning of the season, when farmer, Brett
welcomed everybody to his family hunting cabin or something, we saw.
a lot of family photos on display.
And there's been a lot of talk throughout the season.
That family is super important and all of that kind of stuff.
So my feeling is these people are really hardworking people.
There was no way they were going to devote or take time off of work to come and film
some like silly stuff.
Something that they deemed was like not super important.
Or two, they're just like very private people.
So this didn't hit me as a like,
I have a bad relationship with my family or my family hates me being on the TV show or anything
like that. I think it was just like truly like either busy schedules didn't work out with,
you know, filming schedules. Or it's just like, hey, you know, he, we already know that he's really
Quinn points it out. Yeah, Quinn or Hannah pointed it out. He's a man of few words. And it's like,
when you're a man a few words, you probably come from a family of a few words, you know,
I mean, like, I don't think that there's a whole lot of, like, big personalities on his side. And maybe
they are when they warm up. But you know what I mean? Like, we've gotten to see him throughout this
process really, like, open up and kind of show his silly side and, like, get more comfortable
in front of the camera. And you know, you know better than anybody being on the other side of
this, that the families are nervous when they do these things. It is.
it's nerve-wracking for them.
They haven't been through the casting process.
They haven't been talking to producers for months
and had cameras in their faces.
It's all of a sudden it happens in a day
and it's like they're just shot out of a cannon
and put on camera.
And it's nerve-wracking for them.
Yeah.
Well, Andy, and as you know too,
from a production background,
if there was anything that they could have put out there
that would have been like,
if there was a problem with him and his family
and they would have totally explain.
it. Totally. They would have milked it. That lets you know there's nothing there. Exactly. And we do remember, right?
Early it happened in the first episode that Brett, Brett's family did just go through a loss. He did just lose a grandparent. So maybe there was just like a lot happening, you know, in terms of family dynamics, of grief, of being like, too soon to go through that.
go through this and you know but I still think very supportive my guess is being very supportive on the
other side of the camera of just like this isn't really for us and I think that that's totally acceptable so
anyways so Quinn gets to meet his like childhood friends they have known him forever and they pull her for a
chat and you know she says that she really likes that her and brett have had deep chats they've had
silly chats and she really, and she points this out, she really likes their like intent eye contact
across the room. Yeah. So eye contact is so big with, with this guy. And Quinn's family,
meanwhile, is, it's her mom and her sister, and they are grilling Brett. They're grilling him
about his age because there's a 10-year age gap. He says he's not just going to jump into marriage. He's
looking for the right person. And when it comes to the age gap, he says that Quinn is very mature.
And Quinn's family gets like emotional thinking about her, you know, Quinn possibly moving to be by
Brett. And then they're talking to her. And they go, well, there's, you know, there's definitely
attraction. Like, we get it. And Quinn's like, Quinn's like, well, you should have seen him chopping
wood. Yeah, he should take it off that shirt. I go, Quinn,
babe, we all should be seeing him chopping wood every single episode.
That should be the start.
Get line, Quinn.
That should be the start of every episode of like we meet our farmers and it's just,
it's Brett Chopin Wood again.
Woof, that was a good scene.
That was a good one.
Brett and Quinn have their one-on-one chat.
And he says he feels good about the day.
And you got to know, I'm pointing out the body language.
They're sitting and he's got his hand on her leg and she's got both of her hands on his hand.
And they're looking at each other when they're making these comments.
And it's just it's two people that are, the shell has cracked.
He is comfortable with this woman.
And he asks her if she's nervous.
And she nods that she is.
And they kiss.
and again, guys, this is, it's clinched for me.
It is Quinn.
Quinn is the winner.
Quinny, literally they kiss and I go,
Quinny is Winnie.
Like I was like, these are the two.
And I really, really do like Hannah.
And we will get to that, like that, you know, one-on-one date.
But it's Quinn.
That is who it is.
And it's not necessarily, it's not necessarily if I looked at the lineup from episode one,
who I would have thought would be the winner.
But I do remember in their first interaction, I said I saw something between them and I saw
her going far.
And I have felt that this entire time.
So I feel like it's a little bit, they're a little bit opposite, but they're not that
opposite. And I think that's what I like about them, you know? Yeah. Yeah. No, I get it. I get it.
I think that's a nice, a nice blend, right? Enough just enough in common to have a common thread,
but enough different about you to keep it interesting. That's what I think. That's what I think,
too. Okay. So then we pop over to Braden's farm, and that's when he and Brittany have their one-on-one,
and Brittany says that she's fallen for Braden, and she would move to her. And,
to the farm for him and they kiss.
And girl, you've set it on camera now.
Like, this is the thing.
When you say something like that on a show and let's say they're the two that stay together,
I think that they are.
I think Britney's the winner in this situation.
Yeah, yeah.
You are going to be asked now until the end of time or until the end of this relationship
when you're moving to the farm.
Like it is
Now put it out there on film
That you're going to do it
So now people are going to hold you to that
So that's all I'm going to say in that
But I think they're very cute
And I do think that there's a vibe between them
Then we pop over to Sean's farm
Him and Emily have their one on one time
And Sean asks Emily
If there's anything she wants to say
Since this is the last time
They'll see each other before the finale
It was fishing. It was fishing.
me in this moment. It was, it was, tell me you love me. Tell me right now. It was tell me something,
you know, and it feels manipulative. Ooh, I could see that. Do you think he's trying to, he's trying to get
her to say it? Knowing what he's going to do. You're right. I think that's funny.
But you think it's Emily is the winner. And do you think that because the other
women have been saying that for the last couple of episodes?
No, I just see a,
I see a thing between them,
but I mean,
you're right.
I see something with the other two as well.
So it's definitely,
it's definitely,
um,
I could go either way.
I just feel like,
so hard.
I feel like Emily,
this,
the two of these I feel like are the ones that are the closest,
as far as who the final two might be,
you know,
for me.
Like they're the ones where it's mostly,
most of a,
mostly these two in this.
moment is more of a coin flip for me than anybody else.
I have a defined winner everywhere, everywhere else.
Really? Okay. Because, yeah, I feel that, I feel that too.
But because we've also seen farmer Sean flip so quickly, right?
We've also seen him say, I'm not inviting her back to the farm.
Oh, I'm going to invite her back to the farm, you know?
So it is kind of a little hard to tell with him.
but there's certain things he did and said with Carson in this episode that make me lean in that direction.
Now, do I still have these feelings that Carson is in it to win it?
I do.
I still do have those feelings.
Again, Emily is cute, but she doesn't give in to what he's asking in this scene.
When he's saying, you know, tell me, is there something else you want to talk about or let me know?
this is the last time we'll see each other.
And she just says that she's happy they did this experience.
Yeah.
And they kiss.
Yeah.
It doesn't she say, however it turns out, I'm happy.
Yeah.
But she's not crossing over that line, right?
Like Brittany is with Farmer Braden or like even Hannah does, I think with Farmer Brett.
It's like you have to, that's what they're looking for, right?
They're looking for a, you're the one.
I have no doubts.
And I feel like on other shows,
those conversations are pressed by producers
and they come out of the cast member's mouth.
It just rubbed me a little bit wrong
that he said,
do you have anything else you want to say to me?
And then I just was like,
don't do that.
Don't do that if you know,
what you're going to do.
It just,
I just didn't like it.
Well, especially because if you know what you're going to do,
and because this,
you know,
this has come up in other dating shows at times where it's almost like
they get encouraged to say something monumental and the person goes the other way.
Right?
And it's like,
oh,
why'd you even take them there if you didn't want,
you know,
it's like,
come on.
Or like we've seen on the bachelorette in,
in past seasons where they've let them,
the runner-up get all the way,
get down on the knee and give the whole thing
just to be like, it's not you.
It's not you. No, stand up. Don't do that.
Stand up, stand up. Oh.
You're the most amazing.
What?
So rough. So rough.
So this is a podcast about video games.
Kind of. It's also about friendship. Definitely.
And chaos. Unavoidably.
Welcome to It's Dangerous to Go Alone.
A podcast where we talk games, culture, nostalgia,
and immediately go off topic.
There is no gatekeeping. There is no skill check.
If you win a game on
Easy mode, we support you.
If you've never touched a controller, honestly, same energy for some of us.
It's fun, it's chaotic, it's friendship with a loose gaming theme.
And somehow we keep getting away with it.
You should listen.

Or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, new?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Oh, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band.
Before Jonas Brothers was...
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,
where people could call in and say, hey Jonas,
and then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas,
and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Keith Gianmanca seemed like a mild-mannered suburban dad,
but secretly he became someone else,
a master of disguise who went on a crime spree.
At the time, did it seem like a crazy idea?
It seemed very crazy.
But I felt so desperate that I felt it was the quickest, easiest way out.
Did you allow yourself to think about how it could go wrong and what that might look like?
No.
I didn't want to manifest that.
I was trying to manifest success.
Every family has its secrets.
But what happens when you discover that your dad
has been living a double life.
That is not the look of an innocent man.
This is going to change my life and my family dynamic forever
because everything that had existed prior in my reality is now untrue.

You can have opinions, you can have like a strong stance.
and then there's your body having its own program.
I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and hosts of the podcast, a slight change of plans,
a show about who we are and who we become when life makes other plans.
We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate these periods of turbulence and transformation.
There is one finding that is consistent, and that is that our resilience rests on our relationship.
I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change.
We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes.

Okay, so we're back on the farm the next day. It's Braden's farm. Casey's mom and dad show up to the farm.
Casey says that being on the farm is different from what she's used to.
She says her biggest concern is being away from her family.
And then Casey's parents give Brayden a little quiz on Casey and they're surprised he gets them all correct.
I wouldn't be surprised by anybody getting things correct like sunrise or sunset, beach or mountains.
I mean, I wanted it to be like, what's her middle name?
When's her birthday?
Does she have all her grandparents?
What's her address?
Like, you know what I mean?
Yeah.
Give us something challenging.
They were both so gobsmacked that he got these questions right.
And I'm like, these, what's her star sign?
Like anything that is a little bit less generic.
So wasn't really viving with that too much, but whatever, it was cute.
Okay.
Then on Sean's farm, Carson's mom and dad show up.
And her dad's a character for sure.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Her dad jokes that they are there to interview a dude who's courting their daughter.
Which I love.
It makes me, it made me laugh because I was like, oh, that's who Carson takes her sassy,
kind of funny personality from that we've seen kind of come up in the show.
Like, clearly it's from her dad.
Like it's from, you know, this is the household she grew up in.
So Carson's parents are protective and they want to make sure that she finds someone who will provide for her.
That's interesting language to me.
Again, Sean has really talked about traditional values and like what he's looking for.
So I don't think it rubs him the wrong way when it said,
but I don't know.
Very well they could not be meaning just financially.
They could be meaning providing stability,
providing, you know, a household,
providing, you know, being faithful in a marriage.
But they don't elaborate on that.
So when you just say it's all about money.
So when you say provide,
it does sound like financially when you don't embellish on
what you're talking about.
It would be weird.
Like I said,
I've been to the gorgeous farm
that is the second house
of these people,
their other property being in Newport Beach.
I think you can look around
with your eyeballs
and see that there's not going to be
an issue with providing.
I don't think you get too much worry about that one.
I think there's like three separate places
they could live if they wanted to
on the farm.
Well,
they probably stay,
I would imagine.
I wonder if the family's had
to stay the night there because it's such a hike out to there.
Very likely, I know that when we did the press day,
that the farmers stayed in one place on the farm
while the girls that were like and the influencers that they had out there,
I don't think we're staying.
But then they'd showed us where the girls stayed,
which is a whole separate place on the farm.
So her dad then, Carson's dad then says,
screw her over and you're a dead man.
Yeah, I love that.
But then he goes, I love that.
Just kidding.
Sean doesn't seem to laugh at all.
He's very deadpanned, straight face.
And again, Sean hasn't really gotten too flustered during this whole experience.
But at 22, I have to imagine he's not had too many of these kinds of interactions.
And cameras, no cameras.
Interviewing, interviewing.
bringing somebody to meet your family is nerve-wracking.
It is.
It is.
And I love my family.
It's nerve-wracking.
Yeah.
Okay, so Carson's parents say that they are very surprised at how mature Sean is for his age.
And Carson tells Sean's parents she loves Sean's communication style.
Carson says she's willing to live anywhere.
Carson is very easy, breezy.
She is comfy.
She is not nervous.
She's chill.
She's just the chill, cool girl, you know, in this whole situation.
Back on Farmer Brett's farm,
Hannah's mom and best friend are coming to the farm.
And this time they do the meeting.
Brett has his friends also bring their wives.
So there's even more people.
A little mix there.
A little mix in there.
there to get some, some estrogen into the mix. And they all go to a dinner. And Hannah says that she and
Brett are connected on their careers and the fact that they're not afraid to like do things. So like
Hannah opens boutiques. We know that Brett has a tequila brand and a power bar brand that he does. So he's,
you know, he's dibbling and dabbling in different things and that's something that they connect on.
Hannah's family grills Brett.
And this was funny.
Brett says he probably won't move out of Tennessee.
He says he has no timeline on marriage.
He's waiting for the right person.
And he will not answer the question when asked if he's kissed both women.
But what made me laugh was that he kind of turned pink.
His face turns pink when they ask him about this.
He gets, he tries to really keep it cool and like be the stoic guy.
But he, I think does get bashful.
on certain things.
And I thought that that was funny.
He was just like, yeah, I won't be answering that question.
Yeah.
And then they even try to hit him with another one about if there's a frontrunner.
And he says, it's very equal, which, sorry, Brett, I think that's a lie.
Not buying it.
Not buying it.
And how do we know it's not equal?
And we know it's not equal because when they do their little one-on-one date,
we'll just jump ahead to that.
This is when I knew.
This, right?
It just, it just solidifies it even more.
They have their little one-on-one.
And, you know, Hannah thanks him for teaching her, you know, that she can put herself out there.
And it's, you know, even though it's scary.
And Brett has his hands clasped together and his arm is wrapped around her knee.
Like her, his hands are doing like this.
Yeah.
There's no contact.
The hands are not open and touching.
It is clasped, shut, and resting.
That is closed body language.
Body language.
Body language is closed.
Of course gets reflected in the next thing that happens or doesn't happen.
No kissy.
They walk and they even walk around the corner.
And I was literally writing no kiss.
And then they walked around the corner.
I was like, is he going to try right now?
Nope.
He gave a hug.
And it's done.
It's lights out for Hannah.
So sorry.
Friendship City.
Friendship City.
And I think.
The friend zone.
And this goes back to what I said last week when they just happened to throw that
tiny sound bite in early on in the episode of I'm afraid Brett could break my heart.
They're not throwing that stuff in with Quinn.
And they're showing.
showing Quinn looking nervous and saying she is nervous, but that heartbreak quote up there at the
top of that episode last week, which had nothing to do with anything else, I was like,
that is a foreshadowing bite for sure. And that's what I'm sticking to. This guy would have been
kissing her if she's the one. He just would have. It's Quinn. It's Quinn. It's Quinn. It's Quinny is
Winnie. And we love it. Quinney is Winnie. Yeah. She's the winner. So, okay. So also, also Farmer Brett
asks his friends who they think is right for him. And all his friends are like, oh, it's a toss up,
man. Like it's too hard. It's too hard. And then one friend goes, I think it's Quinn.
Yeah. The one buddy, Bo, his buddy, Bo. The one friend was like, I think it's Quinn.
Man, I think it's Quinn. And so they include that.
right before he goes to have his little one-on-one with Hannah.
So I think next week is going to be really hard
because I like Hannah.
I wonder how she's going to handle this.
Over on Braden's farm,
Braden's dad says he's very impressed by Brittany.
And then the family sees that there are similarities with Casey.
So again, no clue.
clear cut. It's a little 50-50 on that one.
On Sean's farm, both of his parents have different choices.
Sean's mom likes Carson and his dad likes Emily.
And then back on Braden's farm, he has his one-on-one with Casey and he asks her what it would take for her to move to the farm.
And she says, she says she need to be in love and 100% sure.
Which means?
ring on the finger. Exactly. Exactly. It means you're not there and you're also not saying I could get there or I see it happening. Like it's, you can't deliver that kind of information and not give some sort of sense of hope after. A qualifier. A qualifier.
Something. Meanwhile, we've got Brittany clear as day saying, I will move to the farm to you. I, I, I, I,
Have feelings for you. You know what I mean? She's putting it out there. And I think you, as somebody who's been on the other side of this, if they're not giving it to you with this final stretch of the finish line, you're not choosing them.
Well, you know it's hard because with a Bachelor format, and we don't really know exactly what the Farmer wants a wife filming format is, but in the Bachelor format, you literally have a last date with one.
Yeah.
Then a last date with another.
And then the next day, you're figuring out what you're going to do and either putting a ring on it or promise ring is in my case or whatever it might be, right?
And so it's very, very difficult to be, when you're in that situation and you're,
you're spending the last night with this person.
And it's not because it's like, it's not, it's like it's sexual or anything like that
necessarily.
It's just, you're just with this person and you're trying to calm, you know, because you have
tons of voices in your head too.
Like, is this the right person?
Am I doing the right thing?
Clearly, you like both of them or you wouldn't even have them still be there.
And it's like, you obviously have a connection with each of them and it's different.
And so you almost start setting yourself up like what farmer Brett did, very smart.
Right.
In my mind, if he chooses Quinn, very smart because he didn't give false signals to, well,
he clearly didn't give false signals to, to, Hannah.
What's her name?
Hannah, thank you.
And he didn't give false signals to Hannah because had he kissed her, which I'm not going to lie to,
you, 99% of the people make that mistake.
They kiss them both.
And then I say they're like, what?
You just told me last night when you kissed me that you had feelings for me.
That's what Farmer Sean did in this experience.
And it's like in those moments.
Well, I think Braden did too.
Didn't he?
Braden kiss both.
Braden, yeah, he does.
Yeah.
So it's like both guys are kissing both girls, which don't get me wrong.
If you're still on the fence and you're trying to figure something out and whatever,
which I know people would be like, how can you still be on the fence?
Well, you can.
Okay.
It's a short, I mean, obviously this is a,
a little bit longer, but with The Bachelor, when I did it, was five weeks. And the first three,
I'm dating all their friends, right? So it's like you got, it's like you're, you're trying to
figure it out. And so if you're still on the fence and you still haven't made a hundred percent
decision in your heart, then I guess, you know, you still are attracted to each of them and you're,
you're trying to figure it out. But what Farmer Brett did was handle it in, I think, the classiest way,
which was he made it his mind up. He wasn't crossing any lines. He probably knew at some point he was
going to have to watch this with her.
And he's like, I'm not putting out anything that's going to get me in trouble.
Yep.
Exactly.
Good for him.
Exactly.
And that's moving with intention, right?
And it's just also maybe something that comes with age.
And these guys, not the other two, just not really like, you know, understanding.
But, but, yeah.
So I just think that she's just not, she's not getting farmer breed in anything in this
situation in this conversation.
And to me, that again solidifies that Britney is the choice because I feel like it would
be foolish to drop the girl that is telling you she will uproot her life for you to the
girl who's like, oh, maybe I'll do it.
If I love you.
If I get there.
If I get there.
And, you know, this is the first time I've ever been away from my family.
family. This is a real struggle for me. My family comes and they say, oh, this is really hard for us,
her being away. It's just like, it's not aligning. And again, this could be, we could be falling prey to
the edit. I don't think that we are. But I will say that the kiss was long. Well, and again,
the hat. The hat. Come on. We're over it. We're over it. And don't, don't you dare, farmers.
Don't you dare do that in the finale.
No more hats.
A lot of lip action.
And I need to see Farmer Brett's mustache in action.
I need to not be seeing any cowboy hats covering Farmer Brett.
I will actually be outraged.

Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, name?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to us.
First people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts.
We're starting a trend.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name,
Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it
one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast.
We could call in and say, hey Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas,
and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

Keith Gianmanca seemed like a mild-mannered suburban dad,
but secretly, he became someone else,
a master of disguise who went on a crime spree.
At the time, did it seem like a crazy idea?
It seemed very crazy, but I felt so desperate
that I felt it was the quickest, easiest way out.
Did you allow yourself to think about how it could go wrong
and what that might look like?
No, I didn't want to manifest that.
I was trying to manifest success.
Every family has its secrets.
But what happens when you discover that your dad
has been living a double life?
That is not the look of an innocent man.
This is going to change my life and my family dynamic forever,
because everything that had existed prior in my reality is now untrue.

Farmer Sean has his one-on-one with Carson.
And she says she has very serious feelings for him and she can see something with him outside of this.
And Sean says he's falling for her and she says she feels the same way and they kiss.
And then he says again, he tells her he has very strong feelings for her.
I think, Emily, you are gone.
I think what's interesting about Sean is I think that he came into this.
thinking, I know what I want.
This is what I want.
I want somebody who's got my traditional values.
I think he was a little kid in the candy store with how many beautiful women.
And again,
that's got to be really shocking to the system to be 22 and have all these women looking at you.
You have zero men to compete with.
They're at your house.
They all want you.
Everything is in your backyard.
Everything is in your backyard.
So, like, that's going to be.
got to feel really good. And then they just keep like upping the ante, these girls of like how much
they want to prove to him that they like him. And I think that he's never had somebody like Carson
that he's ever dated or come in contact with. And I think the fact that she's, I think the fact that she's a
little feisty is what he likes. Now, it's funny.
I use the word feisty because that's what Emily said she has that Sean hasn't seen.
Hasn't seen yet.
And I beg to differ, Emily.
I don't think you have a feisty side.
I really don't.
I think that you're a very sweet-natured girl,
and I think that this is a situation of nice girls finishing last.
Well, I think Carson is just a genius in her marketing campaign of securing this gentleman,
by the tantric yoga date.
Tantric yoga,
remember, she also came in and was like,
if you send me home, it's cool.
Whatever.
I'll get over it.
And he's like, what?
What?
What?
Like you're not fawning over me?
Yeah, exactly.
Again, this is Carson.
You came in.
And again, I don't know if you came in in it to win it.
But you played this scenario to your,
benefit. You were like, I'm going to pull him for a little side one-on-one date with s'm
not going to kiss. Okay, we kiss. Then I do the tantric date. It's like she's gotten the most
one-on-one time with him out of the two. And I again, this goes back to what I said and why
I still feel like it's going to be Carson two episodes ago when we have the girls saying,
it's going to be Emily. He already told Emily it's her. Emily's the winner.
then reveal Emily as your winner at the end.
Oh, well, I knew that two episodes ago.
So why am I surprised?
You know what I mean?
But the average person viewing sees that.
It gets implanted in their head.
And then Carson, the dark horse, comes out of nowhere, wins this thing.
And then you're like, what?
I didn't see that coming.
Because people aren't watching the show like you and I are watching the show.
Yes.
So that's what I think.
So what do you think?
Do you think it's Carson or do you think it's Emily?
Now that you've totally lumped it down, just beating me down here.
Well, I think, I think Emily is adorable.
I'd like it.
I'd like those two, but I mean Carson is too.
I think with everything you're saying, I can see what you mean about it being Carson, for sure.
Especially when I even kind of said it myself, like ever, I feel like ever since the tantric yoga date,
Because let's be honest, he hasn't had that kind of intimacy with anyone that we've seen.
You know what I mean?
Correct.
So it's like to have a date where you're basically straddling each other, sweating, you got your shirt off, you're making out.
It's like, what in the world?
So he's got to feel a more intimate connection with her than he does with Emily, I would think, at this point.
I just think he's attracted to the feisty.
We saw his personality switch up with Rihanna, the second.
the second she was like,
sat him down,
told her what she was all about,
was in it to win it,
like was a little bit like alpha.
I think she took it a little too far
and he was like,
yo, yo,
yo,
that's not for me,
bye bye.
But I think that's what he likes about Carson
is this element of the chase.
He like can kind of read her,
but he can't really read her,
but she's kind of in the driver's seat,
but she kind of lets him navigate.
You know what I mean?
It's that push,
pull thing. And as I get older, I think that nice girls finish last just like nice guys do.
And call me pessimistic or cynical for saying that. That is how I feel. I feel that men do tend to like a little bit more of a spicy woman.
A little challenge. Yeah. Yeah. And I think that. But not too much of a challenge. Right.
Yeah. See, this is where this is where I get a little confused in IRL.
Because I don't know how to navigate this myself.
I only know how to stay in that neutral nice girl section.
And so, you know, that feisty side, when I see a Carson like this showing off this side of her personality, that's not somebody I can relate to.
And so when I see the nice girl like Emily, that's the girl who you also get the emotional connection to.
and then when she gets dumped,
you feel the emotional connection.
Carson gets dumped at the end of this
and she says, bye, she just doesn't care, right?
Right, right.
But she wins and you get to see that soft side of her
and you get to see that emotional connection in that way.
So, yeah, that's who I think it is.
I think it's, I think our winners are Quinn, Brittany, and Carson.
And that's what I'm sticking with.
Who are your finals? Lock it in now. I'm holding you to it.
All right. Did you write yours down? Quinn, Brittany, and Carson.
Yep. Okay. I'm with you on Quinn and Carson now.
Okay. Hold on.
You think Casey's still?
I got to be honest with you. I think there's something about Casey that is captivating to him.
And not just because she's my favorite.
It's been my choice the whole time.
I got to stick with one of them.
So if I got to sacrifice one,
if I got to sacrifice Emily or Casey,
I'm going to say I'm sacrificing Emily.
He goes with Carson and I'm sticking with Casey.
Just to give us something to debate next week.
Okay.
Well, next week is the finale.
And we see the men have to make their final decisions.
Braden saying to somebody,
it's kind of always been you.
and Brett saying this farmer found.
May I say it?
Yes.
Can I say it?
Yes.
And Brett's saying, well, this farmer found a wife.
Pretty good?
Very good.
Very good.
Yeah.
I had to go in my lower register for that.
Yeah.
With this farmer.
And obviously, guys, we are, you know, trying to get cast members to come on and chat,
scheduling and traveling and whatever they've all been doing has been a little bit
challenging.
but we definitely will be getting the farmers on.
That's for sure.
Our best friend Molly will make that happen because I need to talk to farmer Brett.
Well, Farmer Brett has been DMing us that he wants to come on.
So he is for sure.
That's my guy.
That's your guy.
That's my guy.
We are getting Farmer Brett on.
When I say that's my guy, it's because I can't wait to talk to him about you.
But it's Sean.
No.
Sean's my guy.
Brains my guy.
They're all our guys.
They're all my guys.
They are so invested in their journeys and we can't wait to watch next week.
I want to say one more thing.
Yeah.
I think that this show did a really good job casting these farmers because I am never.
And even though I was on one of these shows, I'm never the guy at the beginning of the season who cares
about the guys, right?
I'm always like, it's more interesting to me, the women that come out of the limo or the
women that show up at their ranch or whatever it might be.
And I've really liked all through.
of these guys all season long.
I think, and I don't think it's just the editing.
I think that they're just nice guys.
They've been really mindful about how they've approached this thing,
and I'm excited to meet these dudes.
I hope we do get a chance to have them on the show,
because I guarantee you that these are three guys that, you know,
took this thing seriously.
And hopefully they all find love, you know.
Yeah, I think that's what we're all rooting for, right?
I think this show, because it is more G-rated and slower,
in terms of like the physical and that kind of stuff.
I think, you know, you get really emotionally invested in these people.
And they did this season.
They did less of the farmers meeting up and doing the group thing.
They only did the horse race experience unless they are including this in the finale
and they didn't show it.
But last year, last season, they had the farmers take their, like,
like smaller group of girls and all go camping together.
Like they did that.
They went to a square dance.
Like they did a whole bunch of stuff.
They also like had past couple, success couples come and like meet them and like chit
chat with them.
So we haven't seen any of that kind of stuff, which is interesting.
But because it would have been kind of fun to see them kind of interacting more with each
other and kind of getting the dish and kind of saying, you know, oh, I think he's going
to choose this one or oh, he's really connecting with this one.
But again, I'm excited to see how this all pans out.
I think they're all really nice guys from when I met them before this all aired.
So I'm excited to see how it ends.
Well, I am too.
And I'm excited to do our show again with you.
So thanks everybody for listening to A Little Bit Famous and for hanging out with us with our recap,
A Farmer Wants a Wife.
Finale's coming up next week.
Drop us a comment.
Who are you thinking?
the farmers are going to choose. Let us know. We're here. We're listening. And we'll see you next week.

Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is, getting a racist statue removed.
And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than that.
it is, getting a new one put up in its place.
I'm Akila Hughes, and Rebel Spirit Season 2 is about both of those things.
As I was watching these statues come down, I was thinking about what it meant that I grew up
in a majority black city in which there were more homages to enslavers than there were to
enslave people.
