This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Hello, hello, all my people, what's up?
It's Questlove.
Recently, I had the opportunity to sit down with the one and only ASAP Rocky.
He reflects on his journey from Harlem Roots to a global icon status
and discovering the hip-hop origin of his name.
The ledge was on the TV.
Raqim had the bucket hat can go join on.
Apostle.
That's Raqin.
That's who you named after.
I just was like, damn, that f***.
I'll listen to the Questlove show on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.
This is Dr. Jesse Mills, host of the Mailroom podcast. Each January, men promise to get stronger,
work harder, and fix what's broken? But what if the real work isn't physical at all?
I sat down with psychologist, Dr. Steve Poulter, to unpack shame, anxiety, and the emotional pain men were never taught how to name.
Part of the way through the Valley of Despair is realizing this has happened, and you have to make a choice for whether
you're going to stay in it or move forward.
Our two-part conversation is available now.
Listen to the mailroom on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your favorite shows.
Hey, it's Joel and Matt from How to Money.
If your New Year's resolution is to finally get your finances in shape, we've got your back.
Prices, they're still high, and the economy is all over the place.
But 2026 is the year for you to get intentional and make real progress.
That's right.
Each week, we break down what's happening with your money.
the most important issues to focus on
and the small moves that make a big difference.
Kick off the year with confidence.
Listen to How to Money on the IHeart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
This season on Dear Chelsea with me, Chelsea Handler,
we've got some incredible guests like Kumail Nanjiani.
Let's start with your cat.
How is she?
She is not with us.
She...
Great, great way to start.
Maybe you will cry.
Ross Matthews.
You know what kids always say to me?
Are you a boy or girl?
Oh my God.
All the time.
I love it.
I know.
So I try to butcher it up for kids so they're not confused.
Yeah, but you're butching it up is basically like Doris Day.
Right?
No, I turn into Be Arthur.
Listen to these episodes of Dear Chelsea on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
This is the Ben and Ashley I, almost famous podcast with IHart Radio.
It's an almost famous podcast.
Back wrapping up another week with you on our Frankie Friday.
The day we get up to speed and ourselves on all things, Taylor, Frankie Paul, our next bachelorette.
Ashley.
Ben.
Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Season 4 trailer.
Hence, Taylor Frankie Paul could be pregnant?
Except now.
We all know she's not.
But in the trailer for season 4, which premieres on March 12th, which is right in line,
with the Bachelorette.
So smart, Hulu, ABC, so smart.
Yeah, there's a line in there that says,
could you be a pregnant bachelorette?
And it's like, she's not.
We all know she's not pregnant now.
But they're definitely, I think,
insinuating that she may still be hooking up with...
Dakota.
Yeah.
Last week, Ashley, we spoke about Taylor taking a break
from social media.
It looked like she was kind of taking a break from reality, a vacation, some might call it.
But now we're getting Taylor back onto our phones.
She posted a series of photos showing her reality today.
Yeah, people are asking her, like, what her day-to-day is.
And so she was documenting, like, this is my day sometimes, or I, like, stress the heck out all day.
And then here's my day where I just kind of hang out with the kids.
And now she's trying to sort of show her wellness routine.
spray tan
duh
she said she's been
trying to do
red light therapy
for her mental health
likes it so far
and then she has a roller
like a stress roller
for her body
and she likes using that
but yeah
she's getting ready
for a busy season
of life
which is the fact
that her season's going
she's starting to
do press for her season
and she's also
reading the Bible
as I know
that she does often
that is not the Bible
Okay. So possibly a Bible. It says which is like, it's, uh, it's called Jesus calling. I recognize it. It's like
a devotional. Okay. So I don't make me feel so awkward. I'm not making you feel awkward. I just can't
have you say she's reading the Bible when it's. Okay. The book passage though that I'm looking at includes a passage
from Isaiah and Jeremiah. You were close. Okay. Yeah. So there's some, there's something in there.
Yeah, you weren't like off. I'm just saying that's like the Jesus calling devotions.
that is, has been popular for like, goodness, 30 years, 40 years.
It's, you know, it looks like Taylor is back to her real life, which is not.
I think that's the thing that we want to see is this.
There is a part of me that is concerned for Taylor in the sense that, yes,
Secret Lives is airing in March, and she's going to be the Bachelorette soon after that on
television.
Yeah, like, who can do this?
Like, who can handle this life?
I'm not really sure.
When you have three kids.
And then.
The next headline is this. Taylor, hence, she's back at filming. She posted this on the 21st of January.
So just like a few days ago, she posted, she's back to filming. What else is she filming?
She filmed with you. She filmed the shows. Like, goodness gracious. Yeah, I know. Like, how many ads do you think
she's doing that are like integrated into this season? Because those are all day, multiple days sometimes
shoots. And then she has, I don't know, I feel like Mormon wives.
I want to say that season's wrapped airing.
So what they could be doing right now is interviews, the confessionals,
which probably happened for them later on after filming.
It'd also be set up stuff for Bachelorette, you know, her like describing her life,
being like, hey, like this is a day of my life now.
And the thing that is missing is love, you know.
Yeah, true.
You never know what she's filming, but hopefully it's something related to these two
because to add something else on, I'm stressed for her.
It's a lot that she's doing right now.
She is like, no wonder she's taking some breaks and vacation when it comes her way.
She should because we know that, yes, her time filming The Bachelorette may be over,
but her time promoting The Bachelorette is never finished.
And then she has a whole other show that's a beast on Hulu, Secret Lives that she is in front of.
Are you going to be watching season 4?
for Ashley?
I have to.
We have to watch it.
We have got to watch it all together.
You and me.
It's not, like, I don't know that I'm going to be as in thrall of it as so many people are.
I don't know if I'm one for watching TV that is, that is focused only on drama.
Because, so on Bachelor, you know, the focal point is love and then drama surrounds that.
Yeah.
But it's hard for me to sit down and watch something that, like, it's just about the gossip.
New Year, new goals, and in this economy, a better money plan is more necessary than ever.
I am Matt.
And I'm Joel.
We are from the how to money podcast.
And every week we help you to spend smarter, save more, and make sense of what's going on out there.
If you want 2026 to be the year you finally feel in control of your money, we're here to give you the tools and advice to help you,
make it happen. Listen to How to Money on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you
get your podcasts. This season on Dear Chelsea with me, Chelsea Handler, we've got some incredible guests like
Kumail Nanjiani. Let's start with your cat. How is she? She is not with a thing.
Okay, great, great, great way to start. So this is a great beginning and hopefully you'll be able to,
I don't know, maybe you will cry. Amanda Seifred. Life is so short. If you feel something like that,
You have that fire in you for this experience?
It's not for a guy.
It's for the experience of being in love.
And like, it's bigger than a guy.
Elizabeth Olson.
I love swimming naked so much.
And I know you love taking pictures of yourself naked.
I love to be naked.
I just want to be in my brown underwear all the time.
Ross Matthews.
You know what kids always say to me?
Are you a boy or girl?
Oh, my God.
That's so funny.
I love it.
So I'm always like, hi.
I try to butcher it up for kids, you know, so they're not confused.
Yeah, but you're butching it up is basically like.
An angry woman.
Doris Day.
Right?
No, I turn into Be Arthur.
Listen to these episodes of Dear Chelsea
on the IHeart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hey, what's up, y'all?
This is Questlove.
Recently, I had the opportunity to sit down with Aesap Rocky
ahead of his album release.
Don't be dumb.
He reflects on his journey from his Harlem roots
to global icon status,
discovering the hip-hop origin of his name.
The ledge was on the TV.
Rakim had the bucket hat,
Kingold.
You know, I pause, it's like, that's Raq Kim.
That's who you named after.
I just was like, damn, that fucking I got swag.
Rocky offers a window into not only a boundary-breaking artist,
but as a man committed to fusing creative ideas, community,
and remaining unapologetically himself.
Have you ever gotten roasted for any of your outfits?
For sure.
Some people don't be getting the vision.
Look, they could roast me, they could cook meat, they could deep-fripe,
they can saute, whatever they want.
It's nobody who can do that.
my fashion sense and my taste is
impeccable. I'm just like
I impress myself
a lot. It's an amazing
conversation. One, you definitely don't want to miss.
So listen to the Questlove show on the
Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your
podcast. Hey there, this is Dr. Jesse Mills,
director of the men's clinic at UCLA Health and host of
the mailroom podcast. Each January
guys everywhere make the same resolutions.
Get stronger, work harder, fix, what's broken.
But what if the real work isn't physical at all?
To kick off the new year, I sat down with Dr. Steve Polter, a psychologist with over 30 years' experience,
helping men unpack shame, anxiety, and emotional pain they were never taught to name.
In a powerful two-part conversation, we discuss why men aren't emotionally bulletproof,
why shame hides in plain sight, and how real strength comes from listening to yourself and to others.
Guys who are toxic, they're immature, or they've got something they just haven't resolved.
Once that gets resolved, then there comes empathy as in compassion.
If you want this to be the year, you stop powering through pain and start understanding what's underneath.
Listen to the mailroom on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your favorite shows.
The last thing that I want to talk about when it comes to Taylor, Fricky Paul, is this post that she had yesterday, which had me rewatching it.
So good job, girl.
I'm not even following Real Housewives of Mormon Wives very closely, and I just need to be.
to know what this is about.
She posts this video that says walking into tomorrow to finish some
unfinished business with the little snake emoji.
And then she said, waited two months too long to do this.
Oh.
Yeah.
Oh.
And she's dancing.
And her sound is like, she's back.
The sound is she's back.
She's back.
She's so not afraid to start drama.
It's so funny.
These poor boys.
She like plans it out.
These poor boys are just going to get ripped apart.
I can't wait.
You know how.
Ben, you and I both have done this before with our bachelor friends.
We've seen them post something cryptic or vague on Instagram and we'll be like,
was that about us?
Was that about what we said on the podcast?
No, it happens all the time.
And then it drives you and I up the wazoo.
Like, we can't handle that.
Taylor is so not afraid to post cryptically because the audience loves it.
And I guess she just isn't afraid of the drama.
You and I are afraid of the drama.
So yeah, I don't, I don't want to be dealing with it.
No, it's not fun for me.
If I saw these TikToks where she's like, I'm coming at you, Snake is back, I'd be like,
I'm so glad I'm not her friend group.
We can't wait to watch all that's coming our way.
Secret Lives, obviously airing once again March 12th, followed by Taylor Frankie Paul's
season of The Bachelorette.
on this Frankie Friday, Ashley, I would love to close with asking you a simple question
that will ask each other now and again leading up to the premiere of her season.
What have you learned about Taylor Frankie Paul through our Frankie Fridays that makes you
excited for her to be the Bachelorette?
Well, we know that she's unfiltered.
Love that.
I love that there's this drama with Dakota where it's like,
Like, why are, possibly, why are we being the Bachelorette if there's some thing that's still
pulling us towards Dakota?
That's fun.
Is it?
No, not for, not for her, but for possibly.
The viewers?
I feel like I know her very well.
There's that.
So I just feel like the fact that we know her very well through her social media and through
Mormon wives.
And even if you don't watch Mormon wives, but just like being, you know, in millennial who looks
at Instagram, you like know this girl enough that we shouldn't be complaining during the season.
I don't really know Taylor. I feel like I don't really know Taylor. I'm glad that we won't
have to be doing that. I think I'm excited about a season of pure authenticity. Like it or not, right?
She's polarizing because I think she isn't going to be afraid to be her full self at every
moment. And we've missed that in seasons for like for a long time now. We're,
somebody comes in knowing who they are.
They've been through the ringer already.
They're not worried about the bad press or what people will say or not say about them.
She's just going to go at it in whatever way she wants.
And we're going to either like it or not.
But what happens, I think, when we see seasons like that is people step up to her kind
of personality type and show their most vulnerable sides of themselves, which is wonderful
for the show.
that's what I'm excited about.
I think she is authentically herself,
even when she maybe is apologizing for the mess she made,
she's still going to be herself.
And I love it.
I think it's great.
Yeah, she's unapologetic.
Like, she's not going to care.
And I don't know that about her.
Yeah.
I mean, I think she does have that side.
We talked to Hakim about it.
She does have that side where she doesn't want to just, like, cause chaos.
and she feels that chaos that she causes.
And I don't think she wants it,
but sometimes it just happens
because of who she is.
And I like that too.
I like that she's like,
oh, can I take that back?
You know, I'm sorry that I yelled at you last night.
That was just me being, you know, me, whatever.
Yeah, okay.
You're right.
I use the wrong word with the unapologetic
because I do think that there's like a lot of kindness to her.
Yeah.
We've learned so much about Taylor
and we're following her life as we lead up
to her premiere of,
The Bachelorette.
She is our next Bachelorette, but before we have that season airing again,
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, airs March 12th.
And if you want to learn a little bit more about Taylor Frankie Paul,
make sure you turn into Hulu to watch that.
This has been our Taylor, Frankie Paul Frankie Friday.
Until next time, I've been Ben.
I've been Ashley.
See you guys.
