This is an I-Heart podcast.
My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious.
Wait a minute, Sam.
Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.
Well, Dakota, luckily, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon.
This person writes, my boyfriend's been hanging out with his young professor a lot.
He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her.
Now he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone.
Now, hold up.
Isn't that against school policy?
That seems inappropriate.
Maybe find out how it ends by listening to the OK Storytime podcast and the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Let's start with a quick puzzle.
The answer is Ken Jennings' appearance on The Puzzler with A.J. Jacobs.
The question is, what is the most entertaining listening experience in podcast land?
Jeopardy Truthers believe in...
I guess they would be Kenspiracy theorists.
That's right.
To give you the answers and you still blitzers.
The Puzzler. Listen on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Why are TSA rules so confusing?
You got a hood of you. I'll take it all!
I'm Manny. I'm Noah.
This is Devin.
And we're best friends and journalists with a new podcast called No Such Thing, where we get to the
bottom of questions like that.
Why are you screaming?
I can't expect what to do.
Now, if the rule was the same, go off on me. I deserve it.
You know, lock him up.
Listen to No Such Thing on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
No such thing.
Hi, my name is Enya Humanzor.
And I'm Drew Phillips.
And we run a podcast called Emergency Intercom.
If you're a crime junkie and you love crimes, we're not the podcast for you.
But if you have unmedicated ADHD...
Oh my God, perfect.
And want to hear people with mental illness.
Psychobabble.
Yes, yes.
Then Emergency Intercom is the podcast for you.
Open your free IHeartRadio app.
Search Emergency Intercom and listen now.
This is the Ben and Ashley I, Almost Famous Podcast with IHartRadio.
Hey, everyone.
Welcome to The Almost Famous Podcast.
Well, Ben is out.
He's not having the baby, but, you know, getting a baby this week.
I'm doing an all-girls Galentines Day episode with some of our recent favorites.
We have Genevieve Parisi here, Katie Bigger, and Jess Girard.
Welcome to the podcast, ladies.
Thank you.
I'm very particular about, like, not saying that, like, we're pregnant or that, like, they're having a baby.
It's like, she's having the baby.
She's the one having the baby, yep.
Yes.
All right, so just a refresher for everybody out there, kind of, like, go, let's go around in a circle, be like, like, hi, I'm so-and-so.
I currently live in whatever state and city. I'm from so-and-so season. And then I want you to give
your relationship status. Katie, obviously we know you're very happily engaged to Zach. But it'd be
funny if you just said it. So let's go around starting with Jess. Um, hey guys, I'm Jess. And I'm currently
in San Diego, California. And I am very single. Unfortunately. And she was very tied to Blake Moynes during
her season of Bachelor in Paradise. Yes. Katie. Hi, I'm Katie Vigger. I live in Austin, Texas,
with my lovely fiancé, Zach. I was on his season, obviously. Yes, very much in love, very happy.
We're going to get married this year at some point. We're not telling people the date yet, but
yeah. Yay. But we heard it's an elopement. Yes. Does an elopement entail? Like, can it be immediate family?
Yeah, I think it can be immediate family, which is what we're going to do.
Yeah.
But, yeah.
Okay.
Sometimes this year with immediate family.
So these ladies aren't invited.
No.
All right, Jen Parisi, how does Bachelorsetia know you?
I'm Genevieve.
Parisi.
I was from Clayton's season.
I'm in Los Angeles, California now.
And I, just like Jess, very, very single.
very very single
all right so begs the question
have they called you for
Bachelor in Paradise yet
no no
Jess has just has been called
no no no I was waiting for Jed
no I was making for Jen to answer
no I have not gone to anything
well I see it I see it coming for you
Jess but me too I see it coming for you too Jen
I don't know I don't know I think I feel like I'm
removed from it now.
Jess, I have more faith that she will get the call.
And I'd love to see her again.
I'm trying to survive each day.
I can't plan in advance.
Would you both say yes?
That's the question, if you were asked.
Jess, you want to go?
I feel like I'm definitely open to it.
I think the mindset that I had last time,
like I really did not get to experience it the way I really wanted to.
So I feel like I would like to go again and experience it differently.
But I'm also at a place where it's been so long that if it doesn't happen,
like I'm happy to root for everybody else.
That's like a little bit more involved.
That's a great way to say it.
I agree with you.
I think I didn't have the best experience, obviously.
I wish there were certain things I wish I could have done differently.
But again, I feel like I am so far out of it.
And I would be happy just watching all the new people.
Yeah.
So listen, guys, last, last episode,
we were talking about how the new paradise is apparently produced by a whole new team.
Not one producer that you've ever worked with would be there again.
Does that change your mind and going?
That's definitely scary.
Yeah.
It is a little scary because there are a few faces that I would be like happy to see that I would feel comfortable with.
But at the same time, it obviously didn't go amazing last time.
So I think it would be nice to see what new production does.
Katie, this is our, this is our Galentine's Valentine's Day episode.
Are you having a Galentine's Day or is it just you and Zach for, for Valentine's Day?
Well, funny enough, I'll actually be with Jess and a bunch of girls from our season in Montana.
So I'm actually spending it with all of Zach's ex-girlfriends.
No.
I was like, hey, I have a lifetime of Valentine's Days with Zach.
So I hear that you guys do that often.
You have these girls get-togethers.
Oh, all the time.
When we're like at one destination,
we are thinking about the next time.
The next, yeah.
And it's so fun because we're all down to travel
and we all just love each other so much
that it's perfect.
That's so sweet.
So Zach said that you had one at your house
and he was planning on being out of the house that night,
but then ended up just having a sleepover with all of you.
Yeah, well, yeah.
that's an interesting way to put it with you and all of his exes yeah but yeah yeah we had
ariel davia and mercedes there gabby was coming in the next day so she didn't come and jess
wasn't able to make it but um yeah we did and it was fun i think zach he does the best he can
in those situations but this is a core girl group and they're not going anywhere so he's
You've got to get comfortable with it.
Yeah.
Is it weird that I think they would be more comfortable for him to be with, like,
girls that he has dated and especially in the, in the aerial and Gabby situation, like,
quite close to, like, actually dated, not just like, it feels like more of an actual relationship
than say, sorry, Jess.
Not taken.
Katie, I feel like it would be more awkward for you to have these girls around him.
no not at all i love them all i'm very secure in my relationship i love zach i love the girls and
you know they all had their relationships with him but i feel like because of that we're kind of
trauma bonded in a way yeah yeah unique situation but no i'm all for it two thumbs up i think we
all gather the girls respect my relationship was zach and vice versa yeah is great
no that's great that is and a lot of them are
are in relationships too.
So, like,
doesn't make it weird at all.
Is Gabby still with that, like,
big teddy bear guy?
Yes.
Yes.
They're very much in love.
They're probably going to get engaged this year.
I can definitely.
I feel it too.
Oh.
My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly,
and now I'm seriously suspicious.
Oh, wait a minute, Sam.
Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.
Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK
story time podcast, so we'll find out soon. This person writes, my boyfriend has been hanging out
with his young professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. Now he's
insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone. Now hold up. Isn't that against
school policy? That sounds totally inappropriate. Well, according to this person, this is her boyfriend's
former professor and they're the same age. And it's even more likely that they're cheating.
He insists there's nothing between them. I mean, do you believe him? Well, he's certainly
trying to get this person to believe him because he now wants them both to meet. So,
Do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not?
To hear the explosive finale, listen to the OK Storytime podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
My name is Ed.
Everyone say, hello, Ed.
I'm from a very rural background myself.
My dad is a farmer, and my mom is a cousin.
So, like, it's not like...
What do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club?
I know it sounds like the start of a bad joke, but that really was my reality nine years ago.
I just normally do straight stand-up, but this is a bit different.
On stage stood a comedian with a story that no one expected to hear.
Well, 22nd of July 2015, a 23-year-old man had killed his family.
And then he came to my house.
So what do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club?
A new podcast called Wisecrack,
where stand-up comedy and murder takes center stage.
Available now.
Listen to Wisecrack on the IHeart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
What would you do if one bad decision forced you to choose
between a maximum security prison
or the most brutal boot camp designed to be hell on earth?
Unfortunately for Mark Lombardo, this was the choice he faced.
He said, you are a number, a New York State number,
and we own you.
Shock incarceration, also known as boot camps,
are short-term, highly regimented correctional programs
that mimic military basic training.
These programs aim to provide a shock of prison life,
emphasizing strict discipline, physical training,
hard labor, and rehabilitation programs.
Mark had one chance to complete this program
and had no idea of the hell awaiting him the next six months.
The first night was so overwhelming.
And you don't know who's next to you.
And we didn't know what to expect in the morning.
Nobody tells you anything.
Listen to shock incarceration on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
A foot washed up a shoe with some bones in it.
They had no idea who it was.
Most everything was burned up pretty good from the fire that not a whole lot was salvageable.
These are the coldest of cold cases, but everything is about to change.
Every case that is a cold case that has DNA right now in a backlog will be identified in our lifetime.
A small lab in Texas is cracking the code on DNA.
Using new scientific tools, they're finding clues in evidence so tiny you might just miss it.
He never thought he was going to get caught.
And I just looked at my computer screen.
I was just like, ah, gotcha.
On America's Crime Lab, we'll learn about victims and survivors.
And you'll meet the team behind the scenes at Othrum.
the Houston Lab that takes on the most hopeless cases to finally solve the unsolvable.
Listen to America's Crime Lab on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
And what about Ariel? Give us a little update on her because she's always posting about her single life or like guys hitting on her and her denying them on Instagram.
Yeah, I think Ariel,
she's in a different caliber i feel like and she needs to find a man that really fits her personality
she's got a lot going on and i think it's like traveling and just finding like a good man that's it
that can support her in everything that she does yeah so yeah she yeah i don't i don't know how much
she would like us to talk about it but i know that she is open okay any possibilities and
and relationships and men.
Yeah.
Okay.
All right.
Well, we're between the lines there.
All right.
So we have a few, like, fun would you rathers about guys, about dating, about Valentine's Day.
I saw one that spoke to me.
So we'll start with that one.
Would you rather a guy that works out a lot and talks about it a lot or a guy that's a big gamer,
but keeps it quiet?
What do you mean by game?
like he plays lots of video games oh i would say the gym guy i would say the gym guy that talks a lot
about working out yeah because he's he's healthy he's motivated and that's what i get from that but when
i hear gamer i think of couch but no drive yeah that's why yeah and you can also join and learn a lot
through that in terms of just like healthy eating and like finding like a workout that you enjoy
I feel like you can learn a lot through someone who is very I mean obviously there's a good balance
but between the two I think that's the better option for me at least and also I feel like you can
do that with them you can go to the gym together all that but like gaming you're just going to
sit on the couch and like gaming with your boyfriend not doesn't sound great so same answer
would you rather date someone who's always ready to go out but doesn't
know how to chill or someone that likes Netflix and chill like too much and never wants to go
out too much Netflix and chill too much and never go out I would choose that yeah because I like to
do that when we say social events does that include like getting dinner and like things like that
yeah I don't know that's a good question because I didn't write the question I love Netflix and
chill but I've been with someone in the past where he never
wanted to do anything. And I love like washing the sunset, grabbing wine, like going to
restaurants. So I feel like sitting indoors would drive me crazy. But if we're talking like
partying every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, whatever, I would choose enough flips and chill for
sure. Yeah. Oh yeah. I agree with Jess on that one. Kitty, does Zach ever get you roses these days?
Or is that like weird? Hey, no, he doesn't get me roses, but he constantly gets me flowers. Like every time
in the grocery store, well, when they die, he'll always.
like have a vase ready at flowers like fresh flowers for me is the sweet that is sweet when i got home
from my trip in canada he just like had this though oh so cute i was like he's not valentine's day yet
he's like i know i just wanted to pick it up for you and he just had this ready it was so cute
that's so cute that's so cute he's a good man sweet what are some things about zach that we don't
really know and that we wouldn't pick up from his time as the bachelor um he's got this great little
goofy side that i feel like people didn't really get to see and on the show he did so many good
like impersonations and like impressions of like characters or like movies which i thought was hilarious
and he's just like he's very organized probably more clean and organized than i am at times um and
he's just so sweet and thoughtful and kind he's always going out of his way for his friends
and making sure they feel seen and he puts a lot into a lot of relationships and he's just
he's like kind of also like that go-to guy that I feel like his friends go to him for a lot
of advice about relationships and whatnot like he's just very vulnerable and sensitive which
I do think that we saw the vulnerability on the show but I think he was more
more, I think he was more trying to play, like, you know, do the right things and say the right
things on national television, which I get. So I think you didn't really get to see Zach for
who he truly was. Yeah. Well, Jess, do you feel the same way knowing him in person now?
Um, well, just through like, you know, because it's not person on the show. Yeah. No. I mean, just like from
everything Katie has ever said about him.
She just speaks so highly.
And it's not even not, like, just the way that he treats her.
Just like how she describes it.
Like, I can tell that they're both good people, especially together.
So I love it.
Hey, Jen, when was the last time you heard from Aaron Clancy?
I met his new girlfriend.
Oh, you did?
Yeah, like a year or two ago, maybe a year ago.
How?
And that's the last time I, we just were at a party in San Diego.
and they showed up, we were at the same party.
And I was talking to her, it was fine.
She was very sweet, and I haven't heard from him since, haven't talked to him.
Do you think he's being loyal to her?
I hope so.
I think so.
I hope.
I hope for then, truly.
So I don't know.
And Jess, when was the last time you talked to Blake?
Oh, I saw him when he came to Florida for a bit.
Like, we're like a really very good friendly terms.
So it's not like weird or anything, but it's been a while since we like last messaged, but probably like six months to a year. I don't really know. Oh, wow. Okay. Are those guys, or I guess specifically Blake, since you're more in touch, is that a DM or is that a text type of a relationship? Both. When he came to town to do something with Rachel, like I saw him for a bit and we caught up. And then I don't know. I mean, I don't think we'd DM each other ever.
really. I don't know. I can't remember.
Like, it's not something I would like clock if we did.
But very, like, friendly terms.
My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious.
Oh, wait a minute, Sam. Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.

All right, we have some Bachelor hot seat questions.
We'll go around the table, starting with Jess, going to Katie and then going to Jen.
If you could take one Bachelor contestant on vacation, where would you go?
Who would it be?
And why?
One.
is that to be a guy or can it be anyone well because it's fun let's make it a guy
fine we'll make it a guy for valentine's day and a girl for galant's day all right for a girl
i would do hannah brown because i think she's amazing and um just an incredible human from what i've
seen so i would love to hang out with her and ask her a bunch of questions and talk about terris
Swift. And then for a guy, I think I would do like Tyler Cameron, personally.
Yeah. I don't really think more. Katie's going to bring Zach as her guy. We're just going to,
you know, we feel good about that. Who are you bringing as your girl? Oh, my God. I don't even think
I could narrow it down. Like, that's just such a hard question. I'll go with somebody not from our
season says I would take my core girls any day. I would have you guys pick for me. I don't
know what I would think honestly. I don't I don't really watch. I didn't really watch like a
yeah. Yeah, you didn't. Yeah. It's okay. Well, let you pass this one. What about like what about your
favorite from grant season? What about that? I'll take Lucia. Okay. There you go.
His frontrunner or at least that's what I think. Okay. For a girl, I'm just going to go with
Rachel because we have traveled together
and it was so much fun and
I love her. You guys don't live together
anymore though. No, we don't.
No. Well, wait, you guys
together anymore? No, we don't.
Yeah, she's in Studio City now
so she's like 25 minutes from me.
Did she just want to live by herself?
Yeah, we both like were, I think
just ready to, our space was
too small and I think we both just were ready
to, yeah, be by ourselves.
I still talk to her all the time and
yeah, we keep in touch.
guy wise i don't know this is a tough one jesse palmer yes i'll take jessie way out i'm the only one that
had risky answers i know i think tanner is very good-looking i think for you jenevy
so tanner and jess kind of had a little thing in paradise did you guys just
there was a kiss right no we didn't kiss there you didn't kiss no he was like who i went down to paradise
for and then he took out on a date so that kind of like stopped me from pursuing him a bit um and then
towards the end like after blake went home we like spent a day together and i was just like very
overwhelmed by everything and i just didn't really get to see it through so i just kind of like left
did you hear about him and Julianne Huff?
I did hear about that, yes.
Did you hear about that from like inside sources or us weekly?
I think I just like saw a TikTok and then like that was pretty much kind of how it was real.
Yeah, I bet you it was a real day.
Genevieve, do you know more?
I've met him like just in group settings.
And yeah, he did go on a date with her.
I don't know how many times.
That's not my business.
it was a real date I believe so good for him he's beautiful yeah he's cool this is a fun question
if you could be on a on a season that wasn't your own which bachelor would you want to be on
obviously this is weird for katie but katie also hasn't really watched the show but just play
along I guess like I have to narrow out like I was on chris sol's season so I'll play this one
I was on Chris's season
So obviously
Besides that
I can't even say that I would be on Nick or Ben season
Because I'm too close to them friends-wise
It'd be like so so weird
I think like back in the day
If like before I was friends with Ben
I definitely had like stars in my eyes with Ben
Because he was like the perfect Ben right
But if I had to choose
Well and choosing now is also weird
Because I'm married
But just to answer the freaking question
I guess it would be Joey
Joey said
Yeah
Okay
Jess
I don't know
I didn't watch a lot
I don't think I would choose Joey
Just because
The girls I met are all so sweet
But I feel like all the drama
Would have scared me a lot
Like it was a lot
So I feel like
No no you're looking too into it
We're talking about not the season
Which guy would you
Which guy would you most want to see
At the Bachelor front steps
I don't know my answer
To be honest
There's no one that, like, pops in my head.
Jen?
Me.
So, honestly, I think Grant is, like, one of the most handsome people that I've ever seen.
So we're going to go, I haven't really watched the season, and I don't know how it's playing out, but we're going to go with Grant.
Okay.
That's good.
Yes.
Very, very attractive.
Katie?
I would go, which this kind of feels a little weird.
but I would go with Jesse
because he's Canadian
I was going to do that
Jesse's your easy way out guys
but also I did have a huge crush
on Ben Higgins at one point
I will say yeah
but knowing him now
probably not
like Ben and I could never have anything
more than friendship chemistry
and it like creeps me out to think about anything else
obviously
yeah
I was thinking maybe Ben because he's a Christian
so I was like hey maybe that
Ben is everything you'd ever want
And a husband
Like that's why you'd want to take Ben's season
Yeah
Yeah that's a good answer
Yeah if I
All right
We're going to get creepy if I start like over
If you could design your perfect
Bachelor date
You know like Bachelor caliber date
What would it be?
Anyone
I would want to go in a helicopter
I don't know
over some i don't know i don't know where we are but in a helicopter and then oh i want the helicopter
to land on the yacht like they have that in some of the you know some of the dates going to be jens
entrance on paradise yes imagine on the helicopter that's how they'll get her there yeah and then we
have a little day we're snorkeling and everything in the ocean and then we watch the sunset and then
go to like a little nice dinner okay and see fireworks okay the end yeah that's like a class
Bachelor date that you just never got to live out.
I never had a one-on-one, ever.
Wait, same. Wait, Jen, I didn't know that.
Yeah, no, never. Me neither.
You're on Paradise? On me a two-on-one, no.
Wait, in Paradise?
In Paradise, I was on a double date.
No way.
With Aaron and Chenet.
Okay, that's still a date. Yeah, but that's not, I don't know if that counts.
You never had your own date.
Wow. I didn't. Wow.
Yeah.
in both dates I was on
were with Cheney. On The Bachelor was
the 2-1-1 and then in Paradise was the double
date. Oh my gosh. I think I was the only
one on my season on Paradise season
from start to finish. I didn't get a date.
You never got a date in Paradise either?
So sad.
Wow.
You guys are such like memorable
characters to never have had
a one-on-one.
Yeah. That's okay.
It's totally fine. Okay. So what would you
have in your dreams, Jess?
I think I would do the zoo
or just like something with animals
I feel like something interactive
just to like help with my nerves
and I think also I love animals
so I would also want to see how he is with animals
if he was like weird with them
I'd be like you're done
so probably the zoo
and then maybe just like a sunset picnic
on the beach
that sounds like a date that Blake would have liked to join you with
yeah it's too bad
he's going to Africa he's not going to any zoos yeah it's true he wants to see them in
yeah their environment their natural habitat um I was going to say kind of along the same lines as
just but not the zoo because I don't really agree with zoos um but I would love to like be in a pen
of puppies and then I would love to go jet skiing because I love being on the water in the sun
And then I think nighttime would be like a sailboat, sunset, wine, dinner, music.
We'll slow dance in.
Yeah, that's cute.
Yeah.
So mine, I guess Jared and I kind of did in real life.
I would just amplify it bachelor style.
There is the Queen Mary, like the original one, is docked down in Long Beach, California.
And I like to pretend like it's Titanic.
Like I would say take me to the James Cameron set, but I'm pretty sure they tore that real thing down, which they basically made a replica of Titanic. And that would have been the coolest thing ever. But I think like anything that was as close to a Titanic like experience, except for like the sinking. But you know, the whole romance part, like get me a rose dress. Bring me to like a first class dinner, but then take me to the third class dance party at night. That would be so much fun.
I love it. And then like they'd have him write me a note that says meet me.
the clock and like hand it to me like that and then we recreate the flying scene oh my so much that
sounds cute yeah yeah i like that one all right well ladies i think we're going to wrap this up is there
what are your plans on actual friday for valentine's day and galentine's day is the 13th so like
if you have plans on those days specifically let us know my birthday's on sunday so that's like
part of the reason, too.
But, yeah, no.
I'm excited.
I mean, I don't have any boys.
So I'm excited to be spending it with all the girls.
So Katie, Jess, do you have any plans for the Montana weekend?
Yeah, I'll probably just get dinner and, like, I don't know.
I have a little surprise that I'm going to do.
So Katie doesn't know.
Oh.
I could probably guess what did it?
Yeah, probably.
Wait.
Then guess, and when we'll hear back?
I think it's going to be an interactive
slideshow or
presentation of some sort
no but I thought about doing that
I do love PowerPoint night
that's like my favorite thing to do with people
but and just like the girl
playing games like she is the one in the
group that always like starts
questions and just like does like
interactive games with everybody
which we absolutely love
and it's just so cute
that's so fun the PowerPoint presentation
we saw the girl
Parisa from this season.
She gave him one night one.
It was weird then, but he apparently still likes her.
All right.
Well, I hope you guys have the best Galentine's Day as a group.
And then Jen, you too.
And we're hoping that you guys, both who are single,
have a wonderful Valentine's Day next year as well.
Thank you.
It was so nice to see everyone.
Thanks for having us, Ashley.
Of course, thank you for me.
Thank you.
Bye.

Hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That seems inappropriate.
Maybe find out how it ends by listening to the OK Storytime Podcasts and the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Let's start with a quick puzzle. The answer is Ken Jennings' appearance on The Puzzler with A.J. Jacobs.
