This is the Ben and Ashley I, Almost Famous Podcasts with IHart Radio. Welcome back to the Almost Famous Podcast. My name is Kailen Bell, and I am jumping in here. take over. We're in the beautiful Carmel, California for the annual almost famous golf trip, one of my favorite trips of the year. Today I am joined by some of our Bachelor Nation favorites. I've got Katie Bigger and Golden's Kathy Schwartz and Cindy Colors. I'm so excited to be joined by
Starting point is 00:02:47 you guys today. Thanks for having us. Yeah, we're so excited. Amazing. Yeah. I'm glad you didn't say warts. It really threw me off. I was like, really. Or she could have said Strauss backwards and that I was waiting before I'm excited. I've been here with you before Kathy. Have you guys been to Carmel before? Katie and Cindy? Yes. Actually, Zach and I took a trip up here two years ago because I really wanted to come up here, but the weather wasn't great. So I'm happy to be back. Yeah. Today it's fabulous. Thunderstorms and wind. Yeah. Just like what it was last time I was here. I think we have Mosa's entering the room, potentially. And today we're celebrating Valentine's Day, Galentine's Day, all of the fun things.
Starting point is 00:03:30 This is your first Valentine's Day being married. It is. I didn't even realize that. Yes, it is. Because every day feels like Valentine's Day with it. It was so cute. He just left a minute ago. You're like, bye, babe.
Starting point is 00:03:44 Blowing him kisses. I got a cavity. I love that. I love that. It's crazy. Wait, okay. So you just got married this summer officially. Or wait.
Starting point is 00:03:54 Last May. Last May. Yeah. It's coming up on a year. year. Okay, yeah. Yeah. But then the celebration was this summer fall?
Starting point is 00:04:01 November. Yeah. Okay. Yes. Yes. Yeah. We did the big celebration in November, which was a lot of fun. I was there.
Starting point is 00:04:07 Can I just tell you, you make a gorgeous bride the first time and at your reception the second time? Unbelievable. So beautiful. So beautiful. Yes. Do you have any big plans for the first Valentine's Day of being married? We're going to a steakhouse the day before. Actually, we have to cancel that because we're not even going to make it.
Starting point is 00:04:30 We're here because this was so last minute. But yeah, so we're actually going to a comedy show with our friends. Wait, that's so fun. That would be fun. Yeah. I think. I like that when a comedy show on Valentine's Day, that's so somehow that's poetic justice. For us, it would be.
Starting point is 00:04:48 Yeah, I think it's fun. We're actually going to the Comedy Mothership, which is a huge comedy venue in Austin. And I've wanted to go to a comedy show for. a long time. I love laughing. Who doesn't? Yeah. Yeah, we're going to do that. And Zach and I'll probably get drinks like just ourselves before. But yeah. Fun. Yeah. So we have two married ladies, two single ladies. What are you guys doing for Valentine's Day? Well, I am going to, my daughter and son-in-law could not get a reservation for Valentine's night. So they're going out Valentine's afternoon. So I'm babysitting for my granddaughter. Well, fun. And then Cindy and I,
Starting point is 00:05:23 what are we doing, Cindy? So I will be traveling back from Denver. I have a Galentine's event on Friday, so I'll be traveling back. And then when I get back, hopefully Kathy will be done with the grandkids. We're going to grab a quick dinner and go to a concert at ACL, which is in my building. Oh, wait, that's so far. What concert? Bob Schneider and the Midnight Orchestra. Have you ever seen Bob Schneider?
Starting point is 00:05:43 No. Oh, you need to be an Austin icon. Well, thanks for them, by me. Bob, if you're listening, you're welcome. Actually, you're going to, you're right down the street. 8 o'clock, let us know. And you guys knew each other prior to the show. or you met, you just lived in the same town and met after.
Starting point is 00:05:59 So we actually said, you said we lived in the same zip code, not even the same town until she moved downtown. But we did not know each other until she was on the show. No, we have some mutual friends. Yeah. But the first time I met Kathy was at the pajama party on the show. Right. So Susan and I went out to, on Mel's season.
Starting point is 00:06:18 We came out to do a pajama party with the women. Oh, fun. And so, yeah, that's my first met her. It was aired? Yes. It was on Mel's. Thanks for catching up. I just gave away that I did not watch Mel's season.
Starting point is 00:06:30 You and the rest of the world did not watch Mel's season. Not a lot of people watched that. Damn, it was so exciting. I don't know how you could have missed it. I also didn't. But maybe, I don't know. Maybe we're back after Taylor Frankie Paul. Yeah, I'm like everybody's tuning in for Taylor Craigie Paul.
Starting point is 00:06:45 Yeah. Bachelor and I know what they were doing when they asked her to be the bachelor. I have to say, I can't wait for that. Yeah. I think she has a Valentine too. Oh, you do. Oh, I think she's engaged. I'm going out.
Starting point is 00:06:57 I have no move. I think she's engaged too. I don't know anything, but I think she is. You don't think so. Kind of not. I think so. I think so. Really?
Starting point is 00:07:05 Yeah, for sure. Now, will it last? That's the question. You know what? If it doesn't, and he likes older women, I'm in. Like, I'll take your seconds. We're on the prowl and Carmel for you guys to find. Yes, please.
Starting point is 00:07:19 You know, I feel like we're always on the prowl with Kathy. You need to add me to the list. Add me to the list now. Come on. Tomorrow's our day. Even today. I've got my shirt on. I am manifesting love this weekend.
Starting point is 00:07:30 It's going to happen. It's going to happen. Are you guys big Galentine's people? Yeah. I mean, since moving to Texas, obviously I'm still trying to like build my friend group and my community, but there is actually a Galentine's Day tonight. Oh, fine.
Starting point is 00:07:45 So you guys are my Galentine. On a Wednesday? Yeah. Random. Oh, all my girlfriends in Colorado are celebrating on Valentine's Day because nobody's partner planned anything, which is kind of telling.
Starting point is 00:07:57 So we're all doing like a brunch. Okay, but wait, can let me ask you a question here? I am not a Hallmark girl. Like I believe, and I'm, you're going to laugh, but I mean this. Like, if you're in love, every day should be Valentine's Day. That's what you're saying, Katie. Every day you should be expressing your love for each other. And so, yeah, you know, like my husband used to, I told him I'd kill him if, you know, he gave me flowers or candy because, like, be creative.
Starting point is 00:08:25 And he did. you would give me some fun gifts. But the point of Valentine's Day, I think, is like, you know, it's just to pick a day and remember, but it's really about, I think it's a commercial holiday. Yeah. And I think it's fun to just really celebrate your girlfriends and, like, your love for your girlfriends.
Starting point is 00:08:44 Dean and I are kind of anti-valentine's Day just because the, like, cover charges are so high and, like, the premiums and the fixed plates. And it's not even fun not to interrupt you, but it's not even fun. you go to a restaurant, it literally looks like speed dating. Yes. Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:00 And by the way, your table's up in an hour and a half, so get up. Yeah. There's no romance. Tell your partner you love each other and then get out. We have another couple. Yeah. On the flowers are twice the price. They're the same flowers that we're there yesterday.
Starting point is 00:09:12 Maybe we're all anti-gandth day. Yeah. And flowers, you are right, Cindy. Flowers, it's like weddings and funerals. Valentine's Day, a $6 tulip, all of a sudden turns into a $30 rose. I mean, it's going to die in a week. if you're lucky. Now, I have Galantines with my kids.
Starting point is 00:09:29 That's cute. That's cute. Three daughters. So sweet. And so since they were little, we would do Valentine's things. Like starting in February 1st until Valentine's, I would do little hearts and punch a hole through it and hang them from a chandelier above our table. And anything that they did something kind or nice from then until Valentine's, I'd write their name on the front and on the back wrote what they did.
Starting point is 00:09:50 Like you, I saw you being kind to someone so. You helped take the trash out for dad or whatever. really cute. And then at the end of the season, you could wrap them together and they fold up to nothing and save them. Sweet. That's really cute. Can I just say? I have to talk to my mom. That's sweet. Why are you doing that? It sounds like that's the Santa Claus of Valentine's Day. You got five hearts. You only got two. You get nothing. Oh, no. It was so cute because my older two are, there are two and a half years older than the younger one. And so when the younger one couldn't read, she'd come downstairs for breakfast and the older two would check out the new hearts.
Starting point is 00:10:22 Caroline, Caroline, you got a new heart. It says that you were kind to Ariana on the playground. We're so proud of you. It's like Christmas, the elf on the shelf. This is the heart on the chandelier. I'm the only one who has grandkids, and I always get my granddaughters. I have two, and then I have three grandsons.
Starting point is 00:10:42 But the girls, I always get a little gift, and I get a card for them, and they always make me at Valentine's just, but again, I don't make a big deal of it that day because they know how much I love them. I get my daughter a gift. I guess I'm being sexist here because I don't get my boy. I have two sons.
Starting point is 00:11:02 I mean, I love them to pieces. But my daughter, I just wait. This is another thing you guys should do when you have kids. Just listen during the year to things that they say they want. I keep a running list. So like my daughter, she won't be listening to this. She's too busy catching up on the housewives of somewhere. But she found this body cream perfume that she really loved from some hotel she stayed in.
Starting point is 00:11:31 Actually, in California somewhere. Oh, no, it was in Montreal. So I called and I got them to send me the perfume that matches the body cream she got. And that's going to be her Valentine's Day. And that's so meaningful on so many different levels, just showing you her that you listen. You pay attention. Like, that means so much. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:50 Yeah. I feel like it is just like the girl's holiday because growing up, there's something about pink and red that just makes me so happy. And growing up, I loved Valentine's Day. And now as a married person, it's like it is romantic and sweet, but I agree.
Starting point is 00:12:04 It should always be celebrated. How long have you been married, Kaelan? Two years. Oh, two years. Yeah. We've been together like six or seven. Oh, okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:12 Yeah. You guys have been together for a while. Yeah. But Spark is still alive. I was a shuny. I mean, listen. People who say, I'm just, I just need to point out here.
Starting point is 00:12:22 First runner up, okay, you didn't, you know, you walked away. But still, you almost got there. You two, you met on Bachelor and you met on Paradise. And that just tells me that, you know, you can find love anywhere. And I mean that seriously. Yeah. You can. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:38 Like in Carmel. Oh, I love this. In fact, I hate to leave. I have a guy waiting for me. Just kidding. Line up some dates while you're here. Just kidding. Have you guys tried to?
Starting point is 00:12:50 dating apps, how do you feel about dating apps? Tell us how you really on the rundown. Oh, we had some fun. We were on the plane on the way out yesterday and Kathy was going through her portfolio on the dating app. Kiwi, what app are you on?
Starting point is 00:13:05 I'm curious. I'm sorry. My daughter that may have been some alcohol involved. My daughter and I were hanging out and she said, Mom, you're so fun, you're beautiful. You need. I'm not doing it.
Starting point is 00:13:18 Anyway, pour me in other drugs. drank all of a sudden I'm on the day app. Sometimes you need a push. Yeah. Can I just tell you? I'm going to let Cindy tell you because she's seen it first hand. Go Cindy. Go.
Starting point is 00:13:31 Not all of them had teeth. Oh, what app are you on? Oh, trust me. It does not matter what app you're on. Just the people that this app believes would be, Kathy would be interested in is horrific. First of all, we need to have like a whole program on how to put together a profile. Oh, we've talked.
Starting point is 00:13:47 Oh, my gosh. You think they would put their teeth in before putting their pictures. Some of the pictures are like from their nose up. Like they couldn't get themselves in the frame. The lighting is terrible. Taking off their shirt. Like after 60, please don't take off your shirt.
Starting point is 00:14:03 Just shirtless pics? Shirtless picks? Oh yeah. We need to pull this up. And I need to see it out. It is a good laugh. You don't need a comedy show. Literally.
Starting point is 00:14:13 This would be the comedy show. She did not believe it. She said, oh, come on, it can't be that bad. Literally, she is. Oh, you're making me. Oh. Literally we need to pull this up. I Heart Radio is throwing it back.
Starting point is 00:14:30 20s, the decade. To the days of huge hits and unforgettable items. A non-stop stream of the biggest and best. Drake, Rihanna, Beyonce, Katie Gaga, the weekend. And more. All your decade defining favorites all in one place. Hi, it's Katie Perry. Hey, it's Bruno Mars.
Starting point is 00:14:48 This is Kesha. Find 2010's the decade on the free IHeart Radio app. Preset the station so it's always one-tive. Have the way. Welcome to the A building. I'm Hans Charles. I'm Inalick Lamoma. It's 1969.
Starting point is 00:15:02 Malcolm X and Martin Luther King, Jr. had both been assassinated. And Black America was out of breaking point. Writing and protests broke out on an unprecedented scale. In Atlanta, Georgia, at Martin's Almermata, Morehouse College, the students had their own protest. It featured two prominent figures in black history, Martin Luther King's senior and a young student, Samuel L.
Starting point is 00:15:25 Jackson. To be in what we really thought was a revolution. I mean, people will die. 1968, the murder of Dr. King, which traumatized everyone. The FBI had a role in the murder of a Black Panther leader in Chicago. This story is about protest. It echoes in today's world far more than it should, and it will blow your mind. Listen to the A-building on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In the middle of the night, Sasquia awoke in a haze. Her husband, Mike, was on his laptop. What was on his screen would change Saskia's life forever.
Starting point is 00:16:12 I said, I need you to tell me exactly what you're doing. And immediately, the mask came off. You're supposed to be safe. That's your home. That's your husband. So keep this secret for so many years. He's like a seasoned pro. This is a story about the end of a marriage.
Starting point is 00:16:38 But it's also the story of one woman who was done living in the dark. You're a dangerous person who prays on vulnerable and trusting people. You're a predator, Michael Levin Good. Listen to Betrayal Season 5 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast. or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Bowen-Yang. And I'm Matt Rogers. During this season of the Two Guys Five Rings podcast,
Starting point is 00:17:03 in the lead-up to the Milan-Cortina-26 Winter Olympic Games, we've been joined by some of our friends. Hi, Boen, hi, Matt. Hey, Elmo. Hey, Matt, hey, Bowen. Hi, Cookie. Hi. Now, the Winter Olympic Games are underway,
Starting point is 00:17:17 and we are in Italy to give you experiences from our hearts to your ears. Listen to two guys five rings on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Okay, so Kathy has her dating profile pulled up. Now this guy, the first guy that comes up, he is a fake. I'm an expert at this. That is not a real man. Yeah, because he's good looking. He's a fake.
Starting point is 00:17:47 How do you know? How do you know? Trust me. Let me tell you, I know, because, you know, I was in the FBI last week. This guy, when they're pictures, not of focus. What they do is they lift pictures from the internet. And of course, the resolution is not great. So this picture is out of focus.
Starting point is 00:18:05 So this guy's a fake. Wait, but if you match with men, don't really know what to take. Oh, no. Oh, yes. She matched with someone yesterday. So yesterday I said to this guy's a fake, but I'm going to match him just to show how this works. And so sure enough, I match with him. And he writes, hey, you know, Kathy, how are you, it's fake.
Starting point is 00:18:21 I promise you he's a fake. Pull up more pictures. Yeah, go now, go down to the. Seriously. Yeah. Okay. Now go to the profile. Of him?
Starting point is 00:18:29 Yes, of him. Oh, wait, wait. He likes me. Oh, look at that. Look at that. Let me just say. What's his name? No regrets, 50.
Starting point is 00:18:39 Not even one letter. No regrets. Wait, wait. Then I had the guy. No regret. That's iconic. Literally who's Dennis, who wears a headband that says Spartan. And he's 58 years old and he's super like me, which means apparently I'm fabulous.
Starting point is 00:18:54 Do you have to pay for that? Yes. I think it's extra charge. I killed my, I called my daughter the next morning. I said, you cost me $1. $40 and I canceled it literally. But unfortunately, you have it for, wait, I want you to see old Dennis here is 58 years old. She literally sent me a super like and then literally a half an hour after he's super like me.
Starting point is 00:19:13 He goes, hi. Okay, well, thanks for not saying anything. Oh, sassy. I was in the bathroom for 30 minutes. I'm sorry. What? No. Bye.
Starting point is 00:19:22 Let me show you. Let me show you some of these men. That's odd. Then there's a 56-year-old nurse. Never trusted Dennis. six-year-old nurse. No, is this for like an outlier? I can understand it.
Starting point is 00:19:31 This is really the standard. It's not an outlier. Yeah. It's horrible out there. There, I can't even tell you. Oh, look at this guy. Look at this guy. Look at his teeth.
Starting point is 00:19:42 Just check out those teeth. Like, I wouldn't want him near me. Like, no. No. He'd hurt me. Can I see this? Let me see this. Oh, those are veneers for sure.
Starting point is 00:19:53 Veneers? Yeah. He needs a refund. That is, those are veneers? Oh, for sure. Anyway, the guys are, I had one guy on there. There was a guy who wrote me a novella about his religion. The guy last night, the super intellect.
Starting point is 00:20:10 Okay, wait, then he came back with nothing. Yeah, here's, here's, see, if they're, they've completely lost it here. Okay, this guy's cute. Athletic 1-3-13. Who? Yeah. Ask what it. Put your name in there.
Starting point is 00:20:21 Let's all. Let me say. Why are you trying to hide your name? Oh, no. He's not real. He's not. The app is, I think it's huge. Can I tell you the app is, I was on Hinge before. That was miserable too. The app is our time and I can assure you it is not my time nor their time. But wait, the guy yesterday I said he's a fake. And she, Cindy goes, how do you know? I said, I'm going to show you. And so I matched with him two minutes later. Hi, how are you doing? You're so beautiful. Whatever. You know, sure I'm. Like your profile and your profile doesn't have much in it. My profile is nothing. But he wrote, hey gorgeous. I loved your profile. You're so, you. unique and I thought, nope, because that's not my profile you're looking at, but it's a fake.
Starting point is 00:21:00 So I said, so tell me a little bit about yourself. Where are you from? And now on his profile, he says he's from San Antonio, Texas. He said, well, right now I'm in Austin. I'm in Houston, Texas. Unfortunately for him, I lived in Houston for 23 years. So I said, oh, really? I know Houston very well. What part, well, first of all, when I asked him where he was, he had to go research the map and he comes up with Houston, Texas, not thinking straight. And then I said, oh, really, I know he Houston, where are you from? What part of Houston? Dead silence. Because unfortunately, you cannot Google
Starting point is 00:21:32 what area is really, you know, he couldn't come up with us. So he just faded away. Another guy liked me and I had some fun with him. And when I went to match him, the app said, you should want to match this account is in Nigeria. I mean, it's
Starting point is 00:21:49 bad out there. So I'm going to go hang out in the grocery store. Kathy, I think you need to get on like Raya. they won't take me. Yeah, well. So in Raya, you get matched with people from across the country. Okay, I'll move. You know, it's just, I would definitely move too.
Starting point is 00:22:04 But it's just hard to start that connection in those circumstances. That's true. But you can, like, reduce your radius. Yeah. So that is just in, like, you can fix it. No one. Listen, that my trainer. Help me, you could help us.
Starting point is 00:22:18 My trainer trains the guy whose wife died. I'm very sorry. I may she rest in peace. However, I'm available. She died of cancer, but she was sick for like eight years. And he is a very, he lives like, not even a mile from me, but I don't know him. And so I'm trying to get my trainer to introduce him. I don't do that.
Starting point is 00:22:38 I don't do that. And I'm like, and the guy's got a home gym. I said, well, why don't you ask him if I can just use his home gym? Like, that's not happening. I am, I'm trying. Okay, this is so good. I feel like you guys need to do an ad with Bumble or something to like show how bad. The owner of Bumble lived a mile down the street from me.
Starting point is 00:22:56 Do you know that? And you know she went to SMU where I went to school? Do you know her? I watched her. I don't know her. I know that her director of HR. She sold it. That was a good movie.
Starting point is 00:23:05 You know, I'm telling you guys, it is rough out there. It is, you think the Serengeti is bad. This is. But maybe, yeah, your people aren't on dating apps. I saw something recently where it was like this guy was an internet troll because he had no one in his life. He was just so miserable. And then he became an Uber driver and like connected with people
Starting point is 00:23:23 found purpose in his life. So maybe these are just like trolley people. Are you telling you become an Uber driver? No, no, no, no, no. To tell us to date an Uber driver. But just be out there, you know, in Carmel in the town. No, we're out. We go out. We're out all the time. I am out. So we met some people at the airport and they were like, oh, you know, there's lots of people here. I literally said to her, do you know anyone? Like, I'm ruthless. I'm relentless. I will ask. Yeah. But she met someone at the Phoenix airport. She's like, he was dark. He was absolutely precious. And she was like, do you have a dad?
Starting point is 00:23:56 Do you have an uncle? He was adorable. He came up to me. He recognized us in the club. And he came up to me and he goes, I'm really sorry. And then he recognized Cindy and we made a little video for his wife who's a doctor. And the guy was adorable. And I asked him, I said, you're so adorable.
Starting point is 00:24:16 We can't say much about it because he told us some secrets about her that we can't, you know, God forbid they listen. And I asked him and he said, yeah. You know, he said his father's actually single. And he was a good-laken guy. And he was tall. So I'm like, I'm in. Wait, did you get his number? His father's number?
Starting point is 00:24:32 Yeah. Wasn't the whole point in the conversation to get his number? Well, no. Oh, no, but he did send us, the sweet man sent us a video back of he and his wife. And what did Kathy Wright back? Okay, what about your dad? What about your uncle? Listen, I gave your video.
Starting point is 00:24:47 Where's my date? Pretty much. Quit pro quo. Bring me the dad. That's so funny. I mean, everyone says when you're out, just tell people you're looking. Do you see how lucky you two are? No, I'm very lucky.
Starting point is 00:25:00 And I wake up every day and I know that. Never forget that. I never forget it. Don't ever. I'm telling you, it goes, it's, it is children will change your relationship because it just does. And and, but finding true love is, and I had it. I had it once, so I'm grateful for that. But, you know, there's room in my heart for more.
Starting point is 00:25:26 I'm just saying enjoy the time, enjoy the time that you have with each other. When you have children, it becomes a whole different special time. It's just, you're just, it's, you're lucky. You guys are really lucky. And I, I don't know about you, Cindy, but I, I don't want to say I envy you because, but I'm happy for you. I'm joyous for you guys that you have such great love. Cindy?
Starting point is 00:25:48 Yeah, no, I mean, I should switch to you. just date each other. Sorry, Kathy, not a possibility. Why, I'm tall, dark, and handsome. You're fabulous. You are fabulous. Someone is going to be super lucky to have you. Oh, you too, sweet pay.
Starting point is 00:26:02 And I believe that. But until then, we have other parts of our lives that we dial up the love from our friends and our family and each other and our new bachelor nation. And that's great. But we do miss it. We do miss having that. Well, you guys are high caliber women. Yes.
Starting point is 00:26:17 I mean, it's hard to find high caliber men that match that. I'm not looking for 10. I'm just looking for one. Yeah. So I do recognize I'm just looking for someone super special as well. I'm going to embarrass you. I would like to have men. Cindy has a stable of men.
Starting point is 00:26:31 Oh, I can see that. She does. That's not. I hear you get hit on all the time. That's not fair. That's not fair. Wait a minute. Wait, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:26:40 Do you want to transfer your stable over to me? I'll pay you down. She's got guys dating her wanting to date her. And do you want to tell the bar incident yesterday? Cindy said I can't flirt. Cindy said I can't. So I, uh-huh. She goes, Kathy, you don't have to flirt.
Starting point is 00:26:56 I do not have to flirt. She does know how to. She proved me wrong. So this guy walks by me yesterday and I thought, because this is the stuff that goes through my mind. I thought, oh, perfect opportunity. So Cindy, how I flirt. The guy had on a,
Starting point is 00:27:08 you guys are so funny. He had on a yellow, what's I called? Iridescent yellow. She named a highlighter. She named him highlighter. This is my nickname. Everybody gets a nickname. Everybody gets a nickname because it's too, too much of a matrix.
Starting point is 00:27:19 to remember real days. So I chichab with a highlighter. He's all chitty chitty chatted with me. The guy's 67 years old, a little short for me, but he's from New York. I like a northeastern guy. He's got muscles that don't quit. He's telling me about his divorce. He just broke up with a woman he was engaged with for 10 years that she broke up with.
Starting point is 00:27:38 I said, gee, I wonder why she broke up. 10 years engaged. And anyway, we're chit chatting and I'm saying, and he's laughing. And then he zones in on this one. I could have stood up and peeled off my clothes and danced on the bar and he would not. And can I just tell you, guess who's Instagram he followed? Guess who he's reached out to, Cindy. Are you into him?
Starting point is 00:28:04 She's not interested in her. I don't know how to answer that. No, he was super nice, but he lives in New York and he has a girlfriend. Oh, whoa. Wait a minute. He doesn't. I asked him if he had a girl. Where was that part?
Starting point is 00:28:18 He broke up five months ago. I said, so are you dating? He said, I'm trying to. She took it to mean that he has a girlfriend. And I said, did he ask for your number? She goes, no, he's dating a girl. He doesn't get my number. If he's dating someone, I said, no.
Starting point is 00:28:33 He said he was trying to date. That's what he told me. Well, but there was a singular woman in it anyway. So I just, I got the vibe that he was still trying to figure it out. I got the vibe he was not interested in me after Cindy, after Cindy tipped her hat. Here's the solution. Here's the deal. I love you to pieces.
Starting point is 00:28:52 You will never be my wing woman. Although we've had fun together. And I think the one thing that I love going out with you is that we just don't care if somebody does pick us up or somebody does try to send us drinks. We're just there to have fun. And the energy that we have is contagious and infectious. And it's... I can't. Honestly, I hope my daughter, Caitlin, if you're listening, get home early.
Starting point is 00:29:15 because I think it'll be hysterical to be out with this one. Although, let me just. There are all the other dates, though. There's going to be a lot of. Well, that's the thing. If you're out on Valentine's Day with a girl, they either think we're a couple or they're losers because they don't have a date, which makes.
Starting point is 00:29:30 Does that make us losers? I'm sorry to say, yes, it does. Listen, there are, there are people that I could have a date with on Valentine's. And I don't. Rub it in, Cindy. No, I just, I don't want to give the emphasis to the relationship by saying, I will go out with you on Valentine's Day. is in it, it's kind of declarative.
Starting point is 00:29:48 Not to me. I'd be grateful. Because what, everybody? I had a date on Valentine's Day. You two need a podcast. I know. I would sit and let's do it all day. This is hilarious.
Starting point is 00:30:02 It's just, we do have people, we do get a little silly together. We do. Oh, that's the best. I don't know. I just, I think that you guys, wait, are you going to get a Valentine's gift? Have you?
Starting point is 00:30:12 I did. What did you get? So, Dean, before our wedding, climbed all of the 14ers in Colorado and there's this water bottle with like all of the 14ers on it and it's kind of dumb but I got him that. It's not dumb, that's so sweet. Yeah, that's really sweet.
Starting point is 00:30:25 And he keeps stealing my eye mask so I got him his own. Heck yeah. That's cute. And you have any idea of what he's getting you? Probably flowers, but maybe something else. I'm going to talk to him. Yeah, yeah. Wait, what you want?
Starting point is 00:30:36 Orchids last longer than flowers. This is how you do it, ladies. What would you like? I'll make it happen. Seriously, tell me. That's a really good question. I actually don't know. Think about it.
Starting point is 00:30:44 it back to me before dinner. What about you, girlfriend? You know what? I think just like quality time together. Like having pure. Is that your love language? Silly little answer. But I will say the first year, our first Valentine's ever, I did make him like a little book. It was like a cartoon book of all the reasons why I love him. So you know what? I am cute and I have done like really sweet things. But yeah, no, just honestly spending time with each other. Truly. Is that your love language? Quality time? Quality time. Yeah, I would say. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Okay, I always ask this because I can't remember. Words of affirmation too. What you give or get? Physical touch. Wait, which is it? Give or get? And you asked what her love language is. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:31:28 What does she want or what does she give? I never can get this right. I think love language is written for both. That typically a love language is how you feel love. But it's usually also manifested because you know that's how it feels you manifest it and you show love that way. Yeah. Am I wrong? What I don't know.
Starting point is 00:31:46 What I've heard is when people talk about what is your love language, it's what I think it's what do you receive. What makes you feel loved? Correct. So quality times makes you feel loved. Yes. What do you give Zach? What is your gift to him?
Starting point is 00:32:02 His is affection and words of affirmation, I would say. That's what you give to him. That's his love language. What about you? Physical touch. And I think quality time. That's what you give him. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:12 Well, no. That's what I want. And then I like to give gifts. Yeah, I love giving gifts too. Yeah. Yeah. And Zach, like acts of service too. Acts of service, Dean's big on that.
Starting point is 00:32:23 Yeah, I would say. Wanting that. Yeah. Wanting you to do acts. Yeah, he's very much an acts of service person. And he wants you to give act, do your access. Oh, wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:33 Well, I have an act of service for you. Find me a guy. I can always bring it back to finding Kathy a date. Always. The newest tracks. Let's go. New music. And the next big thing.

And immediately, the mask came off. You're supposed to be safe. That's your home. That's your husband. to keep this secret for so many years.

Starting point is 00:35:42 on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple podcast or wherever you get your podcast. Wait, Katie, I was just told that you're a big Justin Bieber fan. Oh my God, yes. I am a huge believer, okay? Like literally since I came out of the womb, Belieber. Wow. Why?
Starting point is 00:36:07 Jay B. I don't know. I mean, I like him, but. I am not, I do not like get all hyped up over celebrities or anything like that. But Justin Bieber, I think, I don't know. I think he's also Canadian. He lived like two hours away from me. I loved his music growing up.
Starting point is 00:36:23 It was like the first concert I ever like cried at. I'm sure. He's Canadian. That's great. Not interesting. He's not Justin Bieber. He's not Justin Bieber. He's not Justin Bieber.
Starting point is 00:36:35 Like Justin Bieber can do no wrong. Wait, how many tours have you been to? Our concerts have you been to. Literally I only one. Like early stages. Yeah. Wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:45 Are you going to go to Coachella? Hey. I really want. to. I really want to, but I'm so over it. Oh. Like, I'm so over it. And I was like, you know, I'm not going this year. Like, I can't do that shit anymore. And of course, he's headlining. Yeah. But I also don't really care for the other headliners. Like he is, it's Saturday. He is Saturday. That is all I would go and see. And I'm like, is that worth all my time and energy? Mm-hmm. You know, where Zach was like, baby, we could just do a live concert, play it live,
Starting point is 00:37:17 get some surround sound at home. Oh, he's supportive of your love for him. Yeah. Yeah, he thinks it's a little excessive for sure. Oh, my gosh. No hall pass. You don't have a hall pass for Justin Bieber. Well, you know what?
Starting point is 00:37:30 I don't look at Justin Bieber and I'm like, damn, I'm like, hello. I look at him and I'm just like, oh. Like, you know. What are you talking about? It's like a, it's like a. She cried at the concert. It's like a, like, yeah, go jam. Like not like a, oh yeah, and J.B.
Starting point is 00:37:50 Like, it's not like that. You know what I'm saying? No, yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't have a clue. I hear you. I hear you. Do you get what I'm trying to say? Like, it's not like, if it was Paul Walker or like any.
Starting point is 00:38:01 Riley green. That would be like a hall pass, even though RIP, but like, you know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You hear that. But not, not, not Justin Bieber. That's not. I just like, I, like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:15 Wow. And he's like the same. So it's like we've grown up together. But did you? Did you, did you hang out together? Because you're both Canadian. I wish we did. Canadian is such a small country.
Starting point is 00:38:26 I'm sure you were next door kissing. I wish. But no, that I think he's like the bees knees for sure. Like if I ever met him in person, I swear to God, I think I would have to change my underage and shit in my pants. Like I literally, that is so unlagy like to say. But like I don't know what I would do. I think my body would just.
Starting point is 00:38:47 just like take over. You know he used to be a huge bachelor fan? He would like FaceTime a lot of the girls. Okay. Is it too late? I have not gotten a call. He stopped. Wait, no, I heard he message Andrew Spencer.
Starting point is 00:39:00 Oh, so he is still watching. Well, I don't know. I was, when I heard that, I was like, I would refresh my DMs. I'm like, did you hate you watch her season? I'm like, oh, I'm like, have you been a mess? Have you ever DM'd him? Yeah, but I had to unsend them all because. You looked crazy.
Starting point is 00:39:18 Now I look crazy. You didn't say, hi, this is Katie. I'm the beautiful girl from The Bachelor, and I just wanted to say. I couldn't do that. You want me to do it for you? If that ever got back or like, made a hand, not that. But I would be embarrassing. I got to play cool, right?
Starting point is 00:39:33 Like, I think genuinely like every other day, like what I would say to him. Oh my gosh. Yeah. No, like I'm a fan of it. Shut up. So like I didn't even care to watch Super Bowl. Don't know anything really about football. Obviously, Zach loves it.
Starting point is 00:39:47 But, like, I didn't give two shouts about it. But when I found out he was at the Super Bowl, I was locked into that screen. And I just could not wait for them to show him for like 2.2 seconds. And then, yeah. Wait, you made a TikTok about it. I just need to understand something. And that was like, they was made.
Starting point is 00:40:04 To see a two-second clip shot of Justin Bieber. That's correct. And she's TikTok. What? Wait, you need to talk to Dean because he DMD years ago and was like, Hey, man, keep your head up, like a hope. Hope you're doing okay. And then Dean was like walking near the grove in West Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:40:24 And someone yells, Dean, Dean, and this black SUV rolls up. Justin Bieber pops out of it. Look at, wait, look at Katie. Katie needs a tissue. She needs a tissue. She's shedding tears. That's actually crazy. Like, why can't that happen to me?
Starting point is 00:40:41 That's insane. I know. also come visit he's always in Aspen he's just walking around I will literally book a flight the minute you say J.B. is in Aspen I will be there. I don't care like two weeks ago so
Starting point is 00:40:55 one day one day will happen manifest it for me guys let you say Sack's going to be like Katie Katie? Katie? Yeah, where are Katie? Kathy? Have you seen Katie? Yeah I think she went to see J.B. and Aspen she's gone. You're gone girl? She is. That's my wife. Oh my gosh. This is incredible. I had no idea this about it.
Starting point is 00:41:14 I do not either. Well, the sad thing is she's going to probably meet J.B. before we meet a man. Hey, Cindy, thanks. You got any other sweet things to say this morning? So we are in Carmel and this place is crawling with men right now, men who love golf, men who, you know, may be wealthy, which is also a pro. Oh, that's the most important. Yes.
Starting point is 00:41:35 Yes. Single. A little bit of money will help. And for those that are single when we leave here, what kind of guys are we open to attracting right now. I'm going to take a sip. You go ahead. No, no, no, Cindy, please. You're the one that has the stable of men going. So I would like to have somebody who is smart. I love sports. Golf is a sport. So if golf is their sport, then that works for me. My two son-in-law's play golf. So that works with the family. I definitely want them single. Yeah. Yeah. And age appropriate. So like 50s,
Starting point is 00:42:08 60s would be great. Yeah. Okay. Heartbeat. That's another one. that we go for. I like them to be above ground. Yeah, above their own teeth is a definite plus. Yeah. But just a really good guy. You know what?
Starting point is 00:42:21 We're both looking for the same thing, I think. I think so too. A good guy single goes without saying. But, you know, when I was younger, I had this list of stuff. You did too. We talked about this. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:31 I don't care if they're, you know, six feet tall. I mean, I'd like a tall guy because I'm a tall woman. Yeah. I'm looking for a guy who wants adventure, who wants fun, who will cook with me,
Starting point is 00:42:42 well, do things with me. Not 24-7, but wants to have adventure. And I've said it a million times, enjoy and laugh, make me laugh, let me have the, you know, laugh together, travel, do the fun things. We've worked hard our whole lives. This is like our time, kind of like the dating app. But it's our time. And I want to have fun in this last great, long chapter of my life. And I know he's out there.
Starting point is 00:43:10 I make jokes about it. you know, I constantly making jokes about it. But I do think there are good men out there. And I also love sports. I play golf. You're at big sports enthusiasts. I should just, I should, you know what I should have done?
Starting point is 00:43:23 You should be with the guys right now. I'm going to bring my pitching wedge and I'm going to stand on the, on the driving range. And I'm just going to, you know, just keep hitting balls. Just keep hitting balls and see if someone comes up to me. No, I like that. Which of one of you will get your own pair of balls. Sorry. I need to go.
Starting point is 00:43:44 Who's going to be the wing woman? Will you be my wing woman? Absolutely. I mean, three of us live in Austin. I love this. And then wait, if we don't, if we like the guy,
Starting point is 00:43:53 I think we should say like highlight. Highlight. Oh, yeah, okay. And if we don't like the guy, Cindy, let's go. We got a flight to catch. Had a flight to catch. Easy.
Starting point is 00:44:03 Yeah. But I feel like they would catch on to that. I think it needs to be a little bit more discreet. How about, I feel like I'm good. Oh, okay. Oh, a golf. Birdie over there. Oh.
Starting point is 00:44:14 Birdie, four. Hole in one. Well, that's not true. No. No holes. Not that we've talked about Justin Bieber. It's all coming out. No, you don't even understand.
Starting point is 00:44:23 I'm still thinking about that Dean and the Justin Bieber thing. She's flustered. I won't stop thinking about it. But, well, I'd love to chit chat longer, but I need to go over to the golf course because I got work to do girls. This is a perfect place for you guys. And it's a perfect weekend to celebrate
Starting point is 00:44:42 Valentine's Day, Galantines, and I'm glad to be here with all you all. Yeah, no, this is very special. Recognize the love we have on our lives, whether it's with men or with friends or with our family. Right. And I'm grateful to be here with you guys. Thank you. Yeah. Thanks for having us.
