Okay, almost famous podcast.
Starting point is 00:03:23 Guys, I'm so excited to have you on. Leah, you look so different than what I'm. saw you on your more X. Oh, thank you. You switch up. A few outfit changes. You know, you got to keep them guessing. You do.
Starting point is 00:03:32 And Jonathan, my guy, always looking good, but I love the shoes. Appreciate it. Same outfit. You know what? That's okay. I didn't bring a wardrobe change either. I haven't changed since the plane, so I feel disgusting. But guys, I'm sure you've been asked this question a million times.
Starting point is 00:03:45 You're both absolutely beautiful people. Very kind. I've gotten to know Jonathan over the last year or so. Leah, it's our first time meeting. But I don't understand why isn't there a love? connection here. I mean, honestly, I look at the two of you. I'm like, what a perfect couple. What are you telling you? What's the deal?
Starting point is 00:04:02 Really, what it is, he actually is so in love with me, and it's just, he's scared of it. I understand. I understand. I understand. I'm just letting him explore what he has to explore. Yeah. No, I'm just kidding. But we are such good friends. And I don't know, I think when I was in the setting of
Starting point is 00:04:18 paradise, mind you, we've met before. Yeah. And nothing has ever happened. I've never, like, been, like, hey, Jonathan. Like, you know, like, whatever. But I think that when I was there, I was just so intent on, like, being in love and finding love. And Jonathan, I think, was, like, the only one remotely. Like, I was remotely my type.
Starting point is 00:04:39 Right. That I'd pursue. Actually, I take the back. I'd never pursue a man. But that I'd be interested in. Sure. Yeah. And so I was just like, hopeful, I think.
Starting point is 00:04:49 And so the options were limited, too. Yeah. Yeah. And it was either me or Sean. Right. Realistically. Yeah. And I told John, like, I.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Love him to death, but he's just not my type. Right, right. But, yeah, I think we've just always been good friends and, yeah, I don't know. And he's just tripping because I'm, like, amazing. You are. I mean, honestly. I mean, well, come on, buddy. No, no, it's okay.
Starting point is 00:05:11 See, that's the big thing, too, is like, you know, I know this question is going to come of why did you friends own people? And it's like, well, if I don't feel a romantic connection towards somebody, well, I'm not going to just kick them to the curb and be, no, no, no. first of I'm not going to pretend and waste somebody's time but also like I see how incredible of a person you are inside out you're beautiful like I want to be on your side for everything last thing I want to do is burn the bridge and then be like absolutely not never going to happen immediately off the rip and then that's it like I want to still be
Starting point is 00:05:43 on your side and be there for you and be a friend that you can lean on if it's not going to work out romantically so like when I friends own it's because I actually care about everybody on the damn show but people look at it as a negative. It's like, yeah, I could have just been the bad dude and really not wasted anybody's time. Just been like, don't even talk to me. Right, right. You know what I mean? But that's not me. I'm not going to sit here and pretend to be that guy. You're a pretty amiable guy. You like people. And you obviously are hilarious. I mean, you're out there entertaining everybody. And you know, quick to smile and make everybody laugh. I'm just saying. I thought, you know,
Starting point is 00:06:16 that there was something there. Now, Leah, before coming to paradise, did you kind of, like, how they always ask everyone, like, you know, who do you want to meet here? Did you have anyone that you named that you wanted to meet that did show up or and you were disappointed in what happened there? I think when I was initially talking to the team about coming on, I was very much like, I think a handful of these men are handsome, but I'm definitely a personality gal and I want to kind of get to know someone face to face because, you know, you can only see so much on a screen.
Starting point is 00:06:48 Sure. So I think I just walked in very open. I wasn't specifically looking for one person or whatever it may be but yeah I think I was just very open Sure. And how about you? How about you Jonathan? I literally the exact same thing That's what I told you guys last time we spoke
Starting point is 00:07:04 Because I was like it's not like a physical thing for me Like I know what's done behind the camera To show these people in different lines I want to meet somebody for who they are in the moment And then make my decision there So I tried to stay away from meeting people outside the show All my best behaviors just go in open-minded And you didn't say like for the producers
Starting point is 00:07:21 where there wasn't like, I want to meet these three people. I think it pissed them off, actually, because they're like, we want to help you out. Yeah, they're like, give us a clue. Yeah. Well, you know, so one of the things I think is kind of interesting, and this is, because I obviously was watching the show at home with everybody else, was there were these times when you think, oh, my God,
Starting point is 00:07:37 there seems like there's so much tension, right? Like, for example, you and Dale, right? Like a lot was made of the fact that the editing sometimes would show you almost looking like you were trying to interfere in Dale and Katz relationship. But then I see you and Dale today, you guys seem fine. But are you fine? A hundred percent.
Starting point is 00:07:54 The connection with cat lasted of whole three days and I knew after 24 hours when Dale showed up, her reaction, she was standing this close to me as Dale walked up. Oh my God,
Starting point is 00:08:08 it's Dale. As cat does, and I'm sitting there and I'm like, I didn't get this reaction. I was like, now I don't even want it if I don't get that same reaction. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:08:19 So from that, that point on, realistically, I was like, dude, I'm not going to shoot my shot of cat. Like, yeah, I still had like that in the back of my mind. Like, hey, I still do like this girl. I'm not going to just completely write it off because I'm not the obvious pick to her. But after like two days of her just being pretty locked in on him, I was like, dude, I'm not about this. So like those moments where I'd pull her for a chat or to check on her is because a similar situation. Like, it didn't work out, but as a cat, I'm still going to be there for you as an individual and a friend. And it looked more as if like, I'm still hanging on this fact that
Starting point is 00:08:49 like, oh, maybe me and cat. And it's like, yeah, come on. Well, I mean, no one would blame anybody on the show for all the women are beautiful. You know, you're on a beach. You're having beverages. You're like, you know, sunsets and all that kind of good stuff. I totally get it. But it was kind of interesting how the show played up that tension a little bit, you know.
Starting point is 00:09:08 And it was, it was funny because I think the first time it happened is when they asked me if, you know, who do you want to be the next bachelor? I'm like, well, it's got to be my guy, Jonathan. Yeah. So I was like, yeah, he'd be a really good one. know, of course, the love connection here happens, which, you know, yeah. Come on. Come on. All right.
Starting point is 00:09:26 So any time after filming, away from the cameras, that you two thought, you know, maybe we could give this a shot. Like, did you guys ever explore that conversation? No. I don't even get crossed our minds to even, like, we just both knew. Like, it wasn't even a thing, like, a thought that, like, hey, should we talk about this? Yeah. No. I also think from that very first conversation that were the,
Starting point is 00:09:49 confrontation that we had where I was like, do you ever even potentially see something here? Yeah. And I pressed him for a yes or no. And he said no. And I said, okay, perfect. Thank you. I have my information because my husband would never. You're right.
Starting point is 00:10:04 No, never in a million years. My husband would be like, oh my God, her. Like she's beautiful. I love everything about her. This is like, this is it. You know what I mean? Yeah. And my operation is a, mine was a gray area too where I was like, I'm a little bit more
Starting point is 00:10:19 slow to the role and I'm like I don't want to be like no it'll never happen because like dude we could be friends for five years and I could just be like you're a fucking idiot dude and then be like I don't want to I don't want to stay on that and obviously like five years is like dramatic like that's too much to like wait and then tell somebody or confess you feelings but people have done it you know I mean like you're in the friend zone and then you try to get out but I was like I don't know that could end up being my reality one day I don't know yeah but she needed to like that black and actually I yeah yeah I mean, that's exactly what happened with those two.
Starting point is 00:10:51 So I was like, I don't want to put myself in a hole before I know for sure, but she really just needed an answer. I'm like, I'm not going to waste her time. So I just went with no, because I'm not going to have you wait for me. Yeah. I just know the energy that I will be approached with, and I know how I want to be pursued, and I know my worth and my value. And I'm not going to.
Starting point is 00:11:09 God, I love this. I love this. Right there. I agree 1,000%. My name is Ed. Everyone say, hello Ed. I'm from a very rural background myself. My dad is a farmer, and my mom is a cousin.
Starting point is 00:11:26 So, like, it's not like... What do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club? I know it sounds like the start of a bad joke, but that really was my reality nine years ago. I just normally do straight stand-up, but this is a bit different. On stage stood a comedian with a story. story that no one expected to hear. The 22nd of July 2015, a 23-year-old man had killed his family.
Starting point is 00:11:55 And then he came to my house. So what do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club? A new podcast called Wisecrack, where stand-up comedy and murder takes center stage. Available now. Listen to Wisecrack on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, my name is Enya Yumanzoor. And I'm Drew Phillips. And we run a podcast called Emergency Intercom.

Starting point is 00:12:49 Imagine that you're on an airplane and all of a sudden you hear this. Attention passengers. The pilot is having an emergency and we need someone, anyone, to land this plane. Think you could do it? It turns out that nearly 50% of men think that they could land the plane with the help of air traffic control. And they're saying like, okay, Pull this, do this, pull that, turn this. It's just, I can do it my eyes close.
Starting point is 00:13:15 I'm Mani. I'm Noah. This is Devin. And on our new show, no such thing, we get to the bottom of questions like these. Join us as we talk to the leading expert on overconfidence. Those who lack expertise lack the expertise they need to recognize that they lack expertise. And then, as we try the whole thing out for real. Wait, what? Oh, that's the run right.
Starting point is 00:13:38 I'm looking at this thing. See? Listen to No Such Thing on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I had this overwhelming sensation that I had to call it right then. And I just hit call. I said, you know, hey, I'm Jacob Schick. I'm the CEO of One Tribe Foundation. And I just wanted to call on and let her know there's a lot of people battling some of the very same things you're battling.
Starting point is 00:14:02 And there is help out there. The Good Stuff Podcast Season 2 takes a deep look into One Tribe Foundation, a nonprofit fighting suicide. in the veteran community. September is National Suicide Prevention Month, so join host Jacob and Ashley Schick as they bring you to the front lines of One Tribe's mission. I was married to a combat army veteran, and he actually took his own mark to suicide.
Starting point is 00:14:23 One Tribe saved my life twice. There's a lot of love that flows through this place, and it's sincere. Now it's a personal mission. I don't have to go to any more funerals, you know. I got blown up on a React mission. I ended up having amputation below the knee of my right leg and a traumatic brain injury because I landed on my head.
Starting point is 00:14:39 Welcome to Season 2 of the Good Stuff. Listen to the Good Stuff podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Hola, it's Honey German, and my podcast, Grasas Come Again, is back. This season, we're going even deeper into the world of music and entertainment with raw and honest conversations with some of your favorite Latin artists and celebrities. You didn't have to audition? No, I didn't audition. I haven't audition in like over 25 years. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:15:05 That's a real G-talk right there. Oh, yeah. We've got some of the biggest actors, musicians, content creators, and culture shifters sharing their real stories of failure and success. You were destined to be a start. We talk all about what's viral and trending with a little bit of chisement, a lot of laughs, and those amazing vibras you've come to expect. And of course, we'll explore deeper topics dealing with identity, struggles,
Starting point is 00:15:32 and all the issues affecting our Latin community. You feel like you get a little whitewash because you have to do the, code switching. I won't say whitewashed because at the end of the day, you know, I'm me. Yeah. But the whole pretending and you know, it takes a toll on you. Listen to the new season of Grasasas Come Again as part of My Cultura podcast network on the IHartRadio
Starting point is 00:15:50 app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Are all these love triangles getting you twisted? Us too. But it's because we have Wetzels pretzels on deck serving up soft, salty, and totally irresistible snacks. From original butter to sinful cinnamon, we've
Starting point is 00:16:07 got your cravings covered. Fresh baked, hand-rolled, and always hot. Go online to find your nearest Wetzels Pretzels or to order ahead. Your pretzel paradise awaits at wetzels.com. Let's talk about Sean. So, Sean comes in with the Parliament of Paradise, and it's basically coming after the Platonic relationships, right? And he's just having a powwow with anybody to listen. He wasn't very, very sly about it. I mean, it was really kind of obvious. How did that make you feel? Because, I mean, it seemed like you guys kind of...
Starting point is 00:16:43 He tried to plot with me at one point. Yeah. About the strong... Like, he wanted to get rid of, like, Spencer. He's like, no, no, those will be my biggest competition. Well, didn't he call you guys to a meeting and you guys showed up? You're like, no, we're not doing that. No, we never go cold.
Starting point is 00:16:57 No, no, not us. Well, yeah, because you guys were on his shopping lot. Her and I were in our own little world just, like, dealing around, like, having fun. Yeah. We didn't know about Bailey and Jeremy. Like, we didn't know that Jeremy made the fun. phone call. We didn't know any of them. No kidding. Not a thing. We were like on our own different
Starting point is 00:17:11 show. We were in the audience. I don't think we were watching with me. We were a better seat than you for like a much better seat. Yeah. Oh my God. That's crazy. I think because we were a platonic couple like people we were like out of game play. Yeah. That makes sense. Yeah. No it makes sense. Kind of irrelevant which is totally okay. But we were we were friends to every like she was a girl's girl. She was there for all the girls. I was there for a lot of the guys. Well, the guys that were in the relationships that happened, like Jeremy and Spencer, Spencer is my best friend from the show. Yeah. So like, I'm sitting there being there for them through everything. And they're like, okay, well, we want to protect him too. Like, that's our guy. Sure. So we kind of got by by being our
Starting point is 00:17:56 friendships. Yeah. I mean, you guys lasted so long. You know what I mean? Yeah, it was great. If you would have won, in fact, I mean, you would have probably made it to the finals if you would have won the last challenge before, you know what I mean? Because once the parliament came back and they made their votes, they probably would have rather had you guys in that mix, I would guess, because you might be able to unseat everybody. So I don't know. I thought it was an interesting twist.
Starting point is 00:18:20 I thought you guys did a really great job. The thing I, you know, I can't help but wonder, you keep hearing all these rumors that Kat had a iPad or a phone or something like that. It came up tonight, people kind of going at her about it. Did you guys hear that at all? Because you said you weren't hearing the other stuff. Did you hear any of that? Not until the end.
Starting point is 00:18:38 And actually, I was closer with Kat. She didn't have an iPad. She didn't have a computer. They searched your bags before. I think that they were like, they were trying to figure out if she had it during the holding, which is like when you first get to Costa Rica. Okay.
Starting point is 00:18:53 But I don't know. I don't think she had anything. But you know what? I mean, if you're there in the holding thingy, I might get in trouble for this, but you're not on the show yet. You haven't even met who's there yet. So who cares if you're texting something.
Starting point is 00:19:05 And there's no Wi-Fi. And if you ask the front desk for Wi-Fi, which I did at one point, they'll tell on you. And then production called me and was like, hey, did you ask for the Wi-Fi? And I was like, yeah. Mind you, this is when I was allowed to have my phone.
Starting point is 00:19:21 Right, right, right. So, it's a different time. But, yeah, there was no way. Like, I couldn't even call or text anyone. There's no Wi-Fi. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So it would be a waste for her to have that anyway. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:33 Plus, I mean, to be fair, I felt like she and Dale really created a real relationship. I really did. Like watching it from home, I mean, and then seeing them out there today, like, you know, they had this kind of like nice coupledom thing going on when she was getting kind of fired up and he's like, it's okay, just calm down. Don't take the bait, you know? I thought
Starting point is 00:19:51 it was interesting. It was a nice dynamic, you know, to watch that as a married, old married dude, seeing people kind of like police each other in a nice way. It was kind of nice to see it. At one point, Jeremy is like, can I say it? And Bailey's like, no. Not right now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, it's just going to make you look bad in this moment. That's a reaction.
Starting point is 00:20:09 We need you to be, like, more proactive, not reactive. Sure. And Bailey knew the objective. And Jeremy, like, almost slipped up. And he was like, can I? And she's like, no, no, no. Don't do it. Don't do it.
Starting point is 00:20:20 Don't take the big. Yeah. Yeah, it's got to be interesting because it's like, you know, like I said, I could never have been on a show like this because I get so, like, my feelings get so hurt so easily if I think that someone who's my friend is, like, going to vote me off. I'd lose my mind, right? But you guys were sort of constantly on the chopping block, even though you were everyone's best friend.
Starting point is 00:20:39 Yeah. Because the mindset was, oh, we keep the real couples around, which I don't know why that's the mindset. Because once the money's introduced, once the money is introduced, it's a different show. Like, us two versus everyone else, we're going to fight everyone. And then they would just vote us out real quick, like Sean. Sure. Yeah. We were trying to just co-send by, be very neutral, not be very polarizing.
Starting point is 00:21:00 Like, let's just be. Don't cause any issues. Yeah. Don't make any, like, we just wanted to just fly on the wall. Right. No, and it worked. It's our only choice. It worked.
Starting point is 00:21:10 I mean, and you both came off from the show, and I'll say this as a viewer, but somebody's been around this franchise since pretty much the beginning. You guys came off the show both looking really great. Like you did yourself a lot of favors for the way you were portrayed and the way that you handled yourself and everything. I mean, you showed vulnerability. You showed a lot of different sides of your character, and I think that was really nice. Jonathan, the one thing that you obviously got a lot of attention for was the night that April
Starting point is 00:21:37 gave you a flower, right? So April gives you a rose. It gets a bunch of the goldens voted off or some like domino effect happens, right? When that happened, were you all of a sudden like, well, maybe I like older women. Maybe I want Friends Zone April. Did you ever come? I mean, I'm not opposed to slightly older. I mean, if you watch the game that we played, I have hooked up with somebody 25 years older than me. Like, what? Mm-hmm. Wow.
Starting point is 00:22:06 It was a one-time thing. It was a one-time thing. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Okay. All right. But, yeah, it was a cool moment, too, because they made it almost cliffhanger, like, oh,
Starting point is 00:22:19 Jonathan's going to go, like, plead for this rose from an older woman if a younger one's not willing to give it to him. Right. That was never the case. Yeah. You know, I went into that rose ceremony, like night, the cocktail party, so ready to go. Because at that point, I was ready to go. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:33 And I accepted it. And I was like, you know, I'm going to be happy for my friends. Everybody's and have a good night. And I'm going to go out on a great note. And I was having a great time. But in that time that I was having so much fun, I had Leslie and April, which they didn't show the one with Leslie, but come up and pull me for a chat and be like, hey, can we talk? I just want to like see how you're doing, this, this and that.
Starting point is 00:22:51 And in that moment, I kind of knew. I was like, do these ladies like, want to keep me? No, no, do they want to keep me around? It was never like a sexual. Well, April did purr on me a day. Yeah, she did purr on me a little bit. Honestly, she is. She's iconic and she is the sweetest.
Starting point is 00:23:10 Like, she's insane, but like insanely sweet. Right. Like, she means so damn well. And yeah, from that point, I was like, oh, maybe there is a chance they give it to me. And I was like, you know what? Like, practice is still fun. And when I realized that, like, being there is a positive thing, I almost like reconvince myself that, hey, staying would be fun if I was offered a.
Starting point is 00:23:31 Rose. Sure. But like the expectation was like zero. Yeah. But it did cross my mind. Like maybe it is a possibility that she's going to give it to me because they did both pull me for chats. Sure. Now, the crazier things have happened. Yeah. I mean, and then it ended up happening. I think it had to happen. You know what I mean? Yeah. In the realm of the Golden's being there, some crossover to some extent had to happen. And it would have to be her too. It had to be her. And it had to be my single ass. And thank God. Otherwise, I would have never. I wouldn't have made it either. I know, right?
Starting point is 00:24:03 I think it's awesome. Yeah. I mean, I think it makes sense to me why America fell in love with you guys. Why you guys really kind of just cut through and I love seeing it. My name is Ed. Everyone say, hello, Ed.
Starting point is 00:24:19 Hello, Ed. I'm from a very rural background myself. My dad is a farmer. And my mom is a cousin. So, like, it's not like... What do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club? I know it sounds like the start of a bad joke,
Starting point is 00:24:32 but that really was my reality nine years ago. I just normally do straight stand-up, but this is a bit different. On stage stood a comedian with a story that no one expected to hear. On 22nd of July 2015, a 23-year-old man had killed his family. And then he came to my house.
Starting point is 00:24:57 So what do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club. A new podcast called Wisecrack, where stand-up comedy and murder takes center stage. Available now. Listen to Wisecrack on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, my name is Enya Yumanzoor.
Starting point is 00:25:19 And I'm Drew Phillips. And we run a podcast called Emergency Intercom. If you're a crime junkie and you love crimes, We're not the podcast for you But if you have unmedicated ADHD Oh my God, perfect And want to hear people with mental illness Psycho babble
Starting point is 00:25:39 Yes, yes Then emergency intercom is the podcast for you Open your free IHeartRadio app Search Emergency Intercom And listen now Imagine that you're on an airplane And all of a sudden you hear this Attention passengers
Starting point is 00:25:52 The pilot is having an emergency And we need someone, anyone Think you could do it? It turns out that nearly 50% of men think that they could land the plane with the help of air traffic control. And they're saying like, okay, pull this, and so this. Pull that, turn this. It's just, I can do my icecloth. I'm Manny.
Starting point is 00:26:13 I'm Noah. This is Devon. And on our new show, no such thing. We get to the bottom of questions like these. Join us as we talk to the leading expert on overconfidence. Those who lack expertise lack the expertise they need. to recognize that they lack expertise. And then, as we try the whole thing out for real,
Starting point is 00:26:34 wait, what? Oh, that's the run right. I'm looking at this thing. Listen to no such thing on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, sis, what if I could promise you you never had to listen to a condescending finance bro tell you how to manage your money again.
Starting point is 00:26:52 Welcome to Brown Ambition. This is the hard part when you pay down those credit cards. If you haven't gotten to the bottom of why you were racking up credit or turning to credit cards, you may just recreate the same problem a year from now. When you do feel like you are bleeding from these high interest rates, I would start shopping for a debt consolidation loan, starting with your local credit union, shopping around online, looking for some online lenders because they tend to have fewer fees and be more affordable.
Starting point is 00:27:18 Listen, I am not here to judge. It is so expensive in these streets. I 100% can see how in just a few months, months, you can have this much credit card debt when it weighs on you. It's really easy to just, like, stick your head in the sand. It's nice and dark in the sand. Even if it's scary, it's not going to go away just because you're avoiding it. And in fact, it may get even worse.
Starting point is 00:27:37 For more judgment-free money advice, listen to Brown Ambition on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. The Super Secret Festi Club podcast season four is here. And we're locked in. That means more juicy cheesement. Terrible love advice. Evil spells to cast on your. Your ex. Starting point is 00:30:22 A lot of couples came off the show. They're not all still together, right? Which couple do you think has the best chance of making it post-Paradise? I mean, these are our best friends. These are best friends. Yeah. Those are like truly...
Starting point is 00:30:39 Literally going into the show, Jess was her, Spencer's mind. Oh, that's awesome. Yeah. Oh, my God. And you, like, it was the sweetest thing. I remember we had a reunion with all of, like, all the girls from Joey's season.
Starting point is 00:30:50 Yeah. We all sat around. We had just gotten the text, like, hey, are you still single? Are you open to paradise? And so we were talking about boys this night. And Jess specifically, I remember she was sitting on my couch and she goes, yeah, like, I really like Spencer. And I was like, Spencer, the one that does a dog portraits and stuff? And she's like, yeah, he just seems so sweet.
Starting point is 00:31:09 And like, I really want to get to know. You sound like. And I was like, okay, period. Like, I could see that happening. And like, I just knowing what Jess had gone through the previous season. me and her had just really been soccer punch. Villains. We were really some villains.
Starting point is 00:31:29 And I think that... Which is so interesting to me because neither one of you have that life. And now it's like the complete opposite on this season. So that's why I say always give people grace. The public should actually like think back like the fans to be like, oh wait, this person was portrayed as a villain. But now we're seeing them and you're like, oh, now you're love with them? Like, yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:46 It's a fickle public, guys. It's a fickle public, right? But anyways, just seeing her like, full circle and I remember her just like in the midst of all the overwhelming hate she was just like I just don't understand like I just want to be happy, blah blah and so
Starting point is 00:32:01 now to see her so happy and so cared for it. I cry all the time about it because it just like we were getting emotional on the couch last night watching the finale together. So I will tell you guys watching the finale and I was so happy for both couples right but I wasn't 100%
Starting point is 00:32:17 sure because the way the show had been edited what Jess's decision was going to be She was stressed. Yeah, and it was like, you know, oh, well, I don't know if I'm ready for this. And, you know, that money would be, you know, a life-changing, whatever. And he looked, I mean, the look on his face was just like, I have no idea what's going to happen. You know, and she comes around the corner and it was like, oh, thank God. I was so happy, you know, and he's like, I can always make more money.
Starting point is 00:32:41 I can't make another job. You know, a really beautiful line, I thought, yeah. Someone must have written that for him. No, I'm sure he came up with an on his own. He seems like a pretty clever guy. But no, I love that you guys are so close with them and that they have such a successful relationship already going because talking them tonight, I do feel like they're the ones.
Starting point is 00:33:02 Any others? Like if you had to say, I think this next couple might really have a chance to. I think we're going to agree on the same one too. No. I was going to say Bailey and Jeremy, which I was surprised about. Yeah. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:33:13 I do love them together. I think Jeremy likes Bailey more than he lets on. He's like, he doesn't wear his heart. his sleeve. Well, he didn't have any sleeves on tonight, to be fair. Right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:25 You know, the tank top is this. Exactly. You really notice that? But watching him make filming. You might want to coach him on some fashion choices
Starting point is 00:33:33 moving forward. Just saying. I go for the traditional gentleman. Yeah. I literally had a tie on before I came with like my tie clip on everything
Starting point is 00:33:43 and I was like, you're doing too much, dude. Yeah. I got to take this off. I had like my like pocket square in and I was giving it to her to like,
Starting point is 00:33:50 wipe her to like, wipe her and stuff. And I was like, all right, at least I kept the pocket square. There you go. Keep it kind of classy. Yeah. No, I like them. I mean, Cat and Dale?
Starting point is 00:33:58 What do you think there? They seem like they're doing pretty well right now. They seem good for right now. Yeah. Yeah. And then Andrew and Alex. I think they're great too. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:07 I love Andrew. It's probably hard to pick because you guys know them all so intimately. Yeah. And they're also different in their own ways. Yeah. And I think, like, who are we to judge these couples? Yeah, we're also going based off of, like, who we get along with the best. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:20 That doesn't mean like one couple stronger than another. Right. It just means you know. We're going to say Jess and Spencer regardless because those are our people. Right. Yeah. But like somebody who's closer with like Andrew and Alex might be like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:34:32 Andrew and Alex are probably the strongest. Sure. Yeah. And I can see that. Well, and they all, to be fair, I think that we,
Starting point is 00:34:37 you know, there's some good couples still kicking from the show. And I'm excited for the two of you to start finding your coupledoms. Has there been any dating you could bring us up to speed on since the show? Come on, girl. I'm like, I can't talk about it. It's Netflix.
Starting point is 00:34:52 Okay. I'm just kidding. Do you know what that's from? I'm just kidding. I'm not being an old. It's like a quote. It's a quote. I love it.
Starting point is 00:34:59 But I am dating. Very nice. And I'm having a lot of fun. I'm very happy. And yeah, well, I just have to stay tuned. I will. She's dialed in. Where are you living and where is he living?
Starting point is 00:35:14 I live in L.A. He lives in L.A. Oh, okay. So that keeps it simple. Very nice. Jonathan, anything on the horizon for you? I've been actively dating publicly now, thank God, because I didn't for 10 months to like make sure I portrayed that like single look going in the paradise. I know people can be brutal.
Starting point is 00:35:32 Yeah, yeah. And I was just like fearful. So now, yeah, I just been taking girls on dates. Nothing crazy serious yet. I haven't met anybody that just like really just made me feel. I don't know. Yeah. I get the feels.
Starting point is 00:35:47 I think I said really like the butterflies. Yeah, the feels. I get that feeling yet. I get it. get it. It's coming, but actively dating again. Yeah. Well, you both are such nice people, and you're both beautiful. I'm sure you're going to find your special someone in no time, and I think the way people got to know you guys on
Starting point is 00:36:02 this show will really resonate for both of you. Because I think, you know, I didn't even realize, I never thought of you as a villain on Jonathan's season. I'm sorry, on Joey's season. Yeah, I'm fully was. Oh, I didn't see it that way. It's terrible. No, I didn't see it that way. I can believe you burned that. No. Yeah, she got on a date card. She burned it. my day card and I burned it. That's solid, though.
Starting point is 00:36:25 That's a gangster move. Yeah. That's next level. Well, you guys, thanks for joining us on Almost Famous. Thanks for being a part of this whole thing. I'm so glad we got to have the Reunions, the Bachelor in Paradise reunion, and so glad that we got A Heart
Starting point is 00:36:37 and Almost Famous to be a part of it with you guys. So thanks for coming on the show. We appreciate it. Of course. Thanks for having us, Bob. Come on again. We'll check in again in a couple months and see where things are at with you and your new guy.
Starting point is 00:36:45 I'd love to. Maybe I'll have somebody at that point. I'll share you well, brother. All right. Thanks, you guys. Thank you very much.
