This is Wisecrack, available now.

That's an interesting sound.
It's like your mental health.
If you're struggling and feeling overwhelmed, it's important to do something about it.
It can be as simple as talking to someone, or just taking a deep, calming breath to ground yourself.
Because once you start to address the problem, you can be a simple.
go so much further. The Huntsman Mental Health Institute and the Ad Council have resources

Welcome to the Almost Famous Podcast.
It's been here today, and I'm back with my amazing co-host.
From The Golden Bachelor, we're celebrating the Golden Bachelor right now,
because it is airing September 24th.
We're going to be watching it.
Susan Knowles is here with me, Susan.
Welcome back.
So excited to be here again and can't wait for the day.
Can't wait.
Because after being on it,
just to see another person do it,
it's so exciting.
It is exciting.
It is always fun to watch seasons after you,
you know how long have the stress.
It's not about you.
It's about a whole new group.
Yes.
We're here breaking down headlines today.
Susan, a couple of them
are just more lighthearted
and some of them are a lot
they just, they hit differently now today
than they ever have.
The first one is this, Bachelor in Paradise's
Jade Roper marks two years since
missed miscarriage.
She's obviously married to Tanner.
They met on Paradise.
They do have a beautiful family.
But Jade has been outspoken.
about struggling and navigating a life since a miscarriage.
Yes.
And you know what?
I admire her to be able,
and I think it's a wonderful thing to be able to talk about it
because you reach so many people going through the same thing.
You don't know how many.
And it's sad, but it's real.
It does seem today, and I know we say this,
I think it is so helpful that people have been more open.
about it because it does help you feel less alone.
It helps all those feel less alone
and it helps you feel less alone as the person
because others are reaching out.
But never easy and always difficult.
Next headline is Colton Underwood
explains how his virginity became a defense mechanism
for his sexuality.
Obviously, Colton was the Bachelor
after appearing on Becca Coofer's season of The Bachelorette.
he's so happy now though he is he's got a baby and a husband we did a little thing together
when i was out in california i love him but to be to come out like that on on the show that was
big it is a big deal uh if i'm remembering right too when he was the bachelor part of his
bachelor story was that he was a virgin right yes yes and there's a reason why and he didn't even know
Yeah, he was covering it up.
It was a defense mechanism.
He said this in Off the Vine with Caitlin Bristow.
Katie Bigger addresses pregnancy rumors and shares Family Planning Update.
Katie is married to Zach.
Yes, there's a great couple, great couple.
I know them personally, and they ran away and got married.
And I just love them.
I really love them, but I didn't know about the pregnancy rumors.
I haven't heard about the rumors either until this.
But Katie is quoted here saying they're hoping to start a family in the not-so-distant future.
Maybe cooking one up, she says, next year.
Okay.
They want to be a little selfish with their time and enjoy a new home and married life,
which I think's great.
I will say having a baby just enhances everything.
But I would never trade those first like two and a half, three years that Jessica and I were together before we started planning.
yeah well they've been together for a few years haven't they yeah so so and she she says something like
putting the sonogram picture next to the wedding photo yeah good for you um becettilly reveals fiance
haley wrote a book based on their love story how sweet is that you know there's another book
coming out yes we're all putting books out trying um ones that matter ones that mean
something to us. And this one obviously does. It's called Where There's Room for Us. It's a novel.
Now, Becca and Haley have been together for a while now. She was on Chris Solz's season of The Bachelor
and then came on my season of The Bachelor. She did find love with her girlfriend, Haley. They got engaged
just recently. And they picked the cover with the two of them kissing over the bridge. It's so
romantic. That's what it says in here. The quote is it's a beautiful illustration on the cover
of two characters kissing over a bridge.
Becca is one of the best people to come out of the franchise.
Just an absolute joy to be around.
Yes.
And it's always very exciting.
It is.
To hear good updates.
My name is Ed.
Everyone say, hello, Ed.
Hello, Ed.
I'm from a very rural background myself.
My dad is a farmer and my mom is a cousin.
So, like, it's not like...
What do you get?
when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club.
I know it sounds like the start of a bad joke,
but that really was my reality nine years ago.
I just normally do straight stand-up,
but this is a bit different.
On stage stood a comedian with a story that no one expected to hear.
The 22nd of July 2015,
a 23-year-old man had killed his family.
And then he came to my house.
So what do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club?
A new podcast called Wisecrack, where stand-up comedy and murder takes center stage.
Available now.
Listen to Wisecrack on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

I'm going to be giving you all the headlines,

Hi, I'm Kurt Brown-Oller.
And I am Scotty Landis, and we host Bananas, the Weird News Podcasts with wonderful guests like Whitney Cummings.
And tackle the truly tough questions.
Why is cool mom an insult, but mom is fine?
No.
I always say, Kurt, it's a fun dad.
Fun dad and cool mom.
That's cool for me.
We also dig into important life stuff.
Like, why our last names would make the worst hyphen ever?
My last name is Cummings.
I have sympathy for nobody.
Yeah, mine's brown-olar, but with an H.
So it looks like brown-holler.
Okay, that's, okay, yours might be worse.
We can never get married.

tona and get this the designer behind them also created lulu lemon so they know what they're doing

Gabby Wendy and wife Robbie went on a romantic honeymoon recently they went to fire island
where is that the New York wait is that a romantic
I have no clue what it is yeah fire island in New York
York. Gabby took to Instagram and captioned and got kind of shared all the photos
from their honeymoon. At the beach and beating and dance and the Fire Island's a party.
Is it? Yes. It's like, you know, when you go down the shore, as we call it.
She was hosting last night. We saw Gabby as she was hosting the VMAs.
Nice.
Gabby has obviously been all over the place here recently since her time on traitors.
It really blew her up.
Yes.
I love traders.
This next headline is another one that just is really difficult for me to read.
Andrew Firestone announces divorce from wife, Ivana, after 17 years together and three kids.
I've been around them many times.
I know you and I were both around them just last year.
I love the two of them.
Andrew Firestone has one of the people
that I have looked up to the most
through my bachelor journey.
It shocked me, honestly.
I have no other words for this other than it really surprised me.
Because you never saw anything.
You know what I mean?
They looked like a perfect,
but obviously they're two adults
and they both agreed that they could be happier alone.
I mean, Andrew shares this.
After much reflection and many hours of count,
counseling. We have decided that we can best serve our children and honor that commitment
to family by moving forward separately as co-parents. That was posted on his Instagram just last
week. And he was really grateful for the 17 years that they did have. So they have a good
relationship and beautiful family and they always will. Yeah. I mean, it's just, it's surprising and
shocking because, yeah, you don't see it coming. And then you get on an Instagram one day. And,
and you know it's announced and alicia yeah she got engaged right alicia holloway gets engaged in beautiful
beachside proposal this is our final headline uh we first met her on um season 25 of the bachelor right
wow that was quick yeah i mean she says her fiance's name is wan uh and she says in her
Instagram caption a million times yes my best friend my soulmate my twin flame the absolute love
of my life I cannot wait to be your wife it's me and you forever baby I love this I love this but
I didn't see that I really I missed it yeah I didn't see it either and you know a lot of these
headlines today are a little more solemn and so it's good to end on a good note yes
it is congratulations to Alicia for getting engaged yes to her fiance
Congratulations. I love it. Susan, that's all the headlines we have for today. We'll be back,
obviously, talking about more of the Golden Show coming up. We're going to be breaking down
all the big things happening in Bachelor Nation. If you haven't listened yet, Almost Famous did
participate in the reunion of Bachelor in Paradise. We got to interview each wonderful couple
or contestants if they weren't still on a relationship. They weren't all couples. They listened to
all of it.
The second half got to eat it too a little bit.
I was waiting for the juice, man.
It was a slow roll.
And then all of a sudden, voices started coming up and feeling started to get shared.
Yes.
And you know, as you sit and listen, sometimes you feel like, oh, I can imagine having your feelings hurt, you know.
But they were speaking their truth.
Let me ask you this, Susan.
Yes.
You watched it back.
You listened to it.
you're obviously you weren't there was there ever any FOMO yes and here it was actually when
I heard part two as a matter of fact I said I'm going to share this on my podcast Golden Hour
I was being real when I was asked to go I just started dating okay we were dating
those people all just admit it on part two that they were dating so i could have went on the show
but but i i missed just being with all the people that part yes i was envious of that but my heart
wasn't into it and i didn't think like they had enough goldens to choose from i was really hoping
for some new blood or yeah there wasn't everybody was getting involved with people
people. Jones season, all the guys, like they were all. So yeah. It is what you want to see also,
though. So it's a win-win-win. If you find love or you go on the show, but we miss you there.
So make sure you go back and tune into that. Until next time, I've been Ben, and this has been
Susan. We'll talk to you soon, everybody.
