Bachelor alum Daisy Kent gets engaged to Thor in flower-filled proposal in Italy. Of course they got engaged in Italy. If you look at Daisy's social media, which is a great follow, by the way, it looks like they live the dream that their life is full of love and happiness. In fact, Daisy captioned on the photos, love you forever.

The two of them are now engaged after dating for quite a while. We're very excited for them here at the Almost Famous Podcast, and we will be watching closely as kind of wedding plans start. In fact, Daisy is a friend of the show, and so I can't wait to bring her on to talk about all the wedding plans that she has in mind. Here's one thing I promise you. Their wedding will be nothing short of spectacular. Switching gears a little bit, Bachelor's Rachel Kirkconnell hasn't had sex in years, she says. Despite Matt James' romance reveals she's demi-sexual.

I had to look up what this means. I'm kind of behind the times here in life in general. Anyways, if you're wondering what it means, demisexual is a sexual orientation in which a person feels sexually attracted to someone only after they developed a close emotional bond with them. Forming a bond doesn't guarantee a person will feel a sexual attraction, but the bond is needed before sexual activity is even possible. possible. Hmm. Maybe that's what I am. I don't know. Anyways, here's the deal. Rachel O'Connell has kind of

been all over social media here recently after an interview she did with the Extra Dirty podcast on October 16th. This podcast dives into a plethora of topics, but they spend quite a bit of time talking about Rachel's current sex life. A quote from Rachel's directly is, I feel like a virgin again. I haven't had sex and way longer than you think it's been years. Now, if you listen to that quote carefully, I haven't had sex way longer than you think it's been years. She's obviously hinting tugging cheek to the relationship with Matt James that she had that ended about a year ago, but years and a year or two different things. And so I think what she's saying is her and Matt weren't intimate towards the end of their relationship.

Maybe I'm reading into things too much. I don't think so. I think she knew what she was saying. And then they go on to talk about who she's attracted to, who will come in next in her life. At this point in, from a quote of Rachel, she's in a, what a dry spell is what they call that. Next 10 line is this. positive update. A couple months ago, Katie revealed the news that her breast cancer had spread to her liver and is now at stage four. Katie recently started a new treatment plan and has opened up previously about possibly needing a double mastectomy. But now, she's sharing a new update and confirming that she will not be receiving the surgery after all. Katie posted a picture of a report from her doctor that revealed her treatments have been working in the tumors and her body are shrinking. We're all celebrating the good news. Katie's celebrating the good news. In fact, she wrote, I'm celebrating the good news. The update someone with stage four breast cancer hopes to hear. The medicine is still working. The tumor is still shrinking. This is great

news and yet a reminder that cancer is still there. We will continue to fall along with Katie Thurston updates as we go. This is a very, very exciting update though. And we want to celebrate these updates. We want to celebrate and be joyous in this season and also know that there is a long road to come. But we hope it's full of good updates. Next headline, find out who will trade roses for paint brushes in HGTV's new show Bachelor Mansion takeover. You may have seen this announcement. It's a pretty big deal for HGTV to be entering into the space. And they've recently announced a brand new design competition series called Bachelor Manchin.

They will trade roses for paintbrushes. How clever. The show will be hosted by our beloved Bachelor Nation host, Jesse Palmer, and fan favorites, Tasia Adams and Tyler Cameron.

They will be there as judges. Now, Bachelor Nation stars who will be on this show will be competing for $100,000 and, of course, bragging rights. Some of them that will be there, Jill Chin, Sam McKinney, Joan Vesos, Dean Ungler Bell, Courtney Robertson, Brendan Moreas, Sandra Mason, Jeremy Simon, Noah Earb, Christopher Stallworth, Tammy Kay Lee, and Alicia Gupta. that's a pretty solid cast. We got Jill, we got Joan, we got Dean. My vote's on Dean. I know Dean's skills. If he doesn't win, I'll be surprised.

Alex Godin responds to rumors that she and Andrew Spencer secretly got married. Have you heard this rumor? It was a big rumor. The couple loves to keep fans updated with their lives on social media. And this week, Alex took to her Instagram story to clear up some rumors about their relationship. As we've been breaking down recently here, this headline that they got married is from AI.
