Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. And here's Heather with the weather. Well, it's beautiful out there, sunny and 75, almost a little chilly in the shade. Now, let's get a read on the inside of your car. It is hot. You've only been parked a short time, and it's already 99 degrees in there.
Starting point is 00:00:20 Let's not leave children in the back seat while running errands. It only takes a few minutes for their body temperatures to rise, and that could be fatal. Cars get hot, fast. and can be deadly. Never leave a child in a car. A message from Nitsa and the Ad Council. The U.S. Open is here and on my podcast, Good Game with Sarah Spain. I'm breaking down the players, the predictions, the pressure, and of course the honey deuses, the signature cocktail of the U.S. Open. The U.S. Open has gotten to be a very wonderfully experiential sporting event.

Starting point is 00:02:11 Hey guys, what's up? It's our Golden Bachelor marathon of Almost Famous Episodes, and we are here. Well, it's actually me. I'm here with Rachel, which is how she loves to remind everybody. This is how she likes it. Yes. This is the way it's meant to be. And I mean, there's a reason it keeps happening, Ash.
Starting point is 00:02:34 She's doing it on purpose. Always getting put in these girl chat situations. They would have loved us girl chatting on the show. Literally. I feel like we would have girl chatted really well on the show, giving them good tea. Absolutely. All right. So I was just talking before you got in here about, like, potential drama that will happen
Starting point is 00:02:52 tonight. So we're really confused how, well, and I know that the audience listening. to this is actually like, oh, no, they carried, you know, away with a live episode. And it was great. And they were able to have compelling two hours. But sitting here four hours before filming starts, I am confused how they're going to pull this off. And I think it's still fun to have a little speculation, even if people know actually how it turns out. Do you think that they're going to involve drama tonight? Or is it just going to be a love fest? I don't know. I was here last night the night before. And this is just crazy. I've never seen so many Bachelor alumni in one place. Yeah. And it's a little overwhelming because like, yes. We all, we like kind of have a relationship with like everyone.
Starting point is 00:03:39 But you don't know like what to expect. Like every time you turn a corner, you're like, oh, how am I going to behave there? How am I going to act then? What we're going to chat about? There's my ex-boyfriend. There's his ex-fiance. Like literally just insane being here. There has to be something.
Starting point is 00:03:54 Like I'm sorry. I'll say it. There has to be something that happens tonight. Or it'll be boring, you think? No, something dramatic will happen. There's absolutely no way they're going to put this many of us in one space and nothing's going to happen. Maybe I'll be wrong, but I'm also a cynic.
Starting point is 00:04:09 So who knows? I think like for just like us liking good TV, like I kind of want something dramatic to happen. Now, do you think that I am hoping for it? I know, right? You're like, as long as this doesn't have to involve me, then like, I'm here to watch it. Do you think that it'll be like, yon? bachelor or older bachelor that'll have the drama i know that those ladies the golden bachelor ladies are going to like drink a lot of wine tonight not that you know how it is when 60 year old
Starting point is 00:04:37 ladies drink wine because like you have a mom exactly because i have a mom and like these ladies love getting together yes so and we know that their camaraderie is actually like very positive But what about the ladies like Faith and like Leslie who might have fresh feelings still for Gary? It is so funny that you say that because I didn't even think about that. Because when I think drama, I'm thinking like Bachelor in Paradise, like us, the younger people. But these golden women, they will bring the drama and they are not afraid. They are not afraid to say how they feel. They don't care.
Starting point is 00:05:18 Like if there was ever a moment that someone was going to be like, I object. it would be at this wedding. Oh, my God, that's what we need. We need either Leslie or Faith to say, I object. I object. And, you know, I don't even know if it would be at this point because they wanted to be with him. I think they would just, both of them, just based on, like, interviews that I did with
Starting point is 00:05:38 Faith and, like, that I've heard Leslie do, I think they'd be like, no, because he, he played us all. Can you imagine? Because this is not out of the realm of possibility. It's really not. It's live. It's live, anything. Someone could get engaged, people could get in fights, like, who knows?
Starting point is 00:05:58 All right. Well, I guess that would be truly the most dramatic thing that could ever happen is an objection. Do you think that Susan will even say the words, does anybody, like, forever hold your peace type thing? I think there will absolutely be a line. And I think there will be a directed long pause. And then will Taylor Swift play will, like, you know, the song? What's the song? Speak now.
Starting point is 00:06:21 something is like there's no way that's going to get cut it can't get cut nothing can get cut oh you did that can't get cut for the officiant's beach exactly well they don't add it in a lot anymore so I was an efficient and um in like the scripts like because they'll give you like outlines they don't really add those in the outlines I think just like a lot of couples have just requested not to have it in there because it just seems so old school it seems like something we would do, like, in the Renaissance. I know, but that kind of makes it, like, it can even better. Makes it more golden?
Starting point is 00:06:57 Bring the Renaissance back, yes. Because probably Gary and, and Teresa probably had that at their first ceremonies. No, definitely. Yeah. 100%. Like, I don't know. And who would it be? Leslie Orfeith or both of them?
Starting point is 00:07:13 And would Joan jump in? And would Kathy tell him to zip it? Oh, Kathy would definitely. Kathy is waiting for her moment in the spotlight tonight, for sure. I can't wait. Especially with Susan officiating, which is like her best friend. She's probably just like, how do I get my face on this camera? And I will be eating it up the entire time.
Starting point is 00:07:31 Yeah, I really just, I hope for all of us that it is them serving the drama on tonight. Okay, so like how do you feel like being at like another zillionth bachelor thing after you, you know, you've been like thinking that you're done with it all? I know. I keep saying, I'm like, this is the last time I'm on TV. And then I was at AFR and now I'm here. But it is really good to like see everyone again. But yeah, actually done now. Maybe. Who knows? You know, you never know. Well, what I love is that I got to watch a couple episodes with you in it in paradise still after I last saw you. So now I can ask you some questions about that. Did you have any say in what was. put like the text that was put over you when it said like is you know Rachel has no desire to be on any show anymore like does she didn't want to even entertain this question or whatever the heck it was I was dying because I was like that right because some people thought it was shady no I thought it's hilarious I was in Germany and the episode aired I didn't even see it and I saw something online it was like a picture of it and I was like oh they just did like they posted that
Starting point is 00:08:43 it was like an edit and then I was like wait no it actually aired and it's so funny because I went back in my text with one of the producers and she was like, oh, they're doing a where are they now? Like, what do you want it to say? And I was like, I want literally nothing to do with that. Because I'm like, I just, that's so embarrassing. Like, what am I going to put on there? Like, Rachel's still single and looking for love.
Starting point is 00:09:00 Like, I'm not doing that. Like, so I was like, no, I don't want anything to do with that. And she went, okay, word for word. I thought it was amazing. That is so great. Okay. I thought it was hilarious too. I loved it.
Starting point is 00:09:11 I didn't know how anybody thought that that was like shady business. They're always looking for like something, though. But, no, 100% me. My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious. Well, wait a minute, Sam, maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit. Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon. This person writes, my boyfriend has been hanging out with his young professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her.
Starting point is 00:09:42 Now, he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone. Now, hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That sounds totally inappropriate. Well, according to this person, this is her boyfriend's former professor and they're the same age. It's even more likely that they're cheating. He insists there's nothing between them. I mean, do you believe him?
Starting point is 00:09:58 Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him because he now wants them both to meet. So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not? To hear the explosive finale, listen to the OK Storytime podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Hi, I'm Janica Lopez, and in the new season of the Overcover podcast, I'm taking you on an exciting journey of self-reflection. Am I ready to enter this new part of my life? Like, am I ready to be in a relationship? Am I ready to have kids and to really just devote myself and my time? I wanted to be successful on my own, not just because of who my mom is.
Starting point is 00:10:33 Like, I felt like I needed to be better or work twice as hard as she did. Join me for conversations about healing and growth. Life is freaking hard. growth doesn't happen in comfort. It happens in motion, even when you're hurting. All from one of my favorite spaces, the kitchen. Honestly, these are going to come out so freaking amazing. Be a part of my new chapter and listen to the new season of the Overcomfit podcast
Starting point is 00:11:00 as part of the My Culture Podcast Network on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Hello, it's Honey German. And my podcast, Grasas Come Again, is back. This season, we're going even deeper into the world of music and entertainment with raw and honest conversations
Starting point is 00:11:19 with some of your favorite Latin artists and celebrities. You didn't have to audition? No, I didn't audition. I haven't audition in, like, over 25 years. Oh, wow. That's a real G-talk right there. Oh, yeah. We've got some of the biggest actors,
Starting point is 00:11:32 musicians, content creators, and culture shifters sharing their real stories of failure and success. success. I feel like this is my destiny. You were destined to be a start. We talk all about what's viral and trending with a little bit of chisement, a lot of laughs, and those amazing vivas you've come to expect.
Starting point is 00:11:50 And of course, we'll explore deeper topics dealing with identity, struggles, and all the issues affecting our Latin community. You feel like you get a little whitewash because you have to do the code switching? I won't say whitewash because at the end of the day, you know, I'm me. Yeah? But the whole pretending and code, you know, it takes a toll on you. Listen to the new season of Grasas Has Come Again as part of My Cultura Podcast Network on the IHart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. A foot washed up a shoe with some bones in it. They had no idea who it was.
Starting point is 00:12:22 Most everything was burned up pretty good from the fire that not a whole lot was salvageable. These are the coldest of cold cases, but everything is about to change. Every case that is a cold case that has DNA. Right now in the backlog will be identified. a small lab in Texas is cracking the code on DNA. Using new scientific tools, they're finding clues in evidence so tiny, you might just miss it. He never thought he was going to get caught, and I just looked at my computer screen. I was just like, ah, gotcha.
Starting point is 00:12:55 On America's Crime Lab, we'll learn about victims and survivors, and you'll meet the team behind the scenes at Othrum, the Houston Lab that takes on the most hopeless cases, to finally solve the unsolvable. Listen to America's Crime Lab on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. So then we talked about Brayden last time and how you guys did, like, DM a few times. And we were like, oh, maybe we should like revisit this rotation, but nothing ever happened of it. And now he's with Christina Mandrell and she's here at the wedding with him.
Starting point is 00:13:33 Like, have you seen the two of them? Have you talked to them? I haven't talked to them, but I did see the two of them. I feel like they're also a couple that, like, they would bring the life of the party, bring the drama. So who knows? Who knows what can happen tonight? They could definitely bring something to the table tonight. They'll probably just be like the dancers, though.
Starting point is 00:13:53 They'll just probably be like wild on the dance floor. Or maybe we'll get like a Braden Christina engagement or like, who knows. Is there anybody here that could get engaged? How, who are the single people here? Like, I need to know who you could end up making out with tonight. I don't think there's many. One of their sons, one of the Golden Lady's sons. Like, I'm actually the only single person here.
Starting point is 00:14:15 I can't think of anyone besides you. Yeah, well, Caitlin Bristow. Oh, Caitlin. Allegedly. Yeah, maybe. Who knows? Do you want to talk about that? I mean, I'm not going to put my two cents in here.
Starting point is 00:14:25 Yeah, I'm really happy. But for whatever the situation is, I think Zach's really good guy. I really love Caitlin. So whatever, you know, is making them happy. I think, who knows, this world is so weird. And that's just like what it is. We all kind of, it's weird. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:42 Who knows? Okay. So there's nobody for you to make out with tonight. No. I don't think so. I need to find someone's son, literally. That's my option. Do you think that there's a lot of sons here?
Starting point is 00:14:52 They better be. They better do something for me. They're dropping the ball time and time again. They better bring me a son. I, okay. So why do you think you are here if you are the only single? person here. And then there's Joey who is, you know, we presumably not single, but he's like here alone.
Starting point is 00:15:08 Correct. Who knows? You know, maybe they're just still holding out hope I'll meet someone and they can get it on camera. I love that you're here. I'm excited. Yeah. You know, like I love being around you.
Starting point is 00:15:22 But you definitely are. But you definitely are like a little bit of. I'm the token single person of this franchise. I have to be the only single one. in all the situation. That's, you know, it doesn't,
Starting point is 00:15:34 it's not the worst situation. No, no, I'm loving it. I think it's fun. Yes, I was the single girl in the franchise for quite some times.
Starting point is 00:15:40 Yes. You know, hopefully, we'll see. All right. Well, is there, have you gone on any real life dates lately?
Starting point is 00:15:47 Um, not really. Like, I'm just in a place where I feel like if it happens naturally, it'll happen. Um, I've definitely like met people,
Starting point is 00:15:56 but nothing like, exciting. Okay. We'll, we'll have a chat when something exciting happens. Have we ever talked about like the celebrity crush that you could possibly get with? Yes. We were talking about the DMs. When we were in that, where were we, Monterey? Yeah. Yeah. No, we still need to figure that out tonight. That's right. I remember this. That's another thing
Starting point is 00:16:16 we have to do. If you don't have a celebrity crush, we can't like do anything. I know. You got to think about that. It's going to be like, you have to have passion behind it. Truly. I was thinking like maybe we do like athlete route instead of like the singer route this time. Like take a different avenue with it. athlete is very easy to not i don't want to say that they're too easy no you could go with jimmy gropolo wait who was it that you do it was jimmy groplo yes incredible with the picture i'm doing that today oh my god i forgot about the picture that was ash that was the best thing i would i attach a picture i had a whole instagram of pictures of myself
Starting point is 00:16:49 you know it is sometimes we get dms you don't click on their profile so he sees it i wanted to be attention grabbing it's so embarrassing no i'm so here for it wow Okay, well, why do you think, why is Gabby not here? It was her birthday yesterday. Oh, so she was invited. Yes, her and Robbie. She's not single, though. Yeah, she's very in love at the Beverly Hills Hotel with her girlfriend for her birthday.
Starting point is 00:17:11 And honestly, I don't think I would come either. Yeah. Loving life. Good. So we love that. That's so nice. Look, they had a really cute, cozy Christmas. Yes, so nice.
Starting point is 00:17:20 All right. Well, Rachel, thanks for coming on here and talking, you know, talking potential drama. Absolutely. Thanks for having me. And you know what? People are probably listening to this. are like, wow, none of this happened. But the things that could have been.
Starting point is 00:17:32 But the way we are Pisces and we will just speculate on everything that could possibly happen is why we're here. We're daydreaming of good TV. Exactly. And romance, right? Oh, yeah, and the love. We're supposed to love love love. We do love love.
Starting point is 00:17:47 But we also love the tea and the drama in the shade. Is that a quality? Because I know loving love is a quality. But I think that kind of goes hand in hand. Is like, if you love love, you also love drama. And I think it's just the delusion, which we have. Oh, we are the most delusional. Facts.
Starting point is 00:18:04 You can do, but as I say on my Instagram, I mean, they're optimistic or delusional. Depends on your point of view. Exactly. And if that is not Pisces, too, a T. Pisces coded. All right, bye, guys. Follow the Ben and Ashley I, almost famous podcasts on IHartRadio or subscribe wherever you listen to podcasts. In sitcoms, when someone has a problem, they just blurt it out and move on.
Starting point is 00:18:27 Well, I lost my job and my parakeet is missing. How is your day? But the real world is different. Managing life's challenges can be overwhelming. So, what do we do? We get support. The Huntsman Mental Health Institute and the Ad Council have mental health resources available for you at loveyourmindtay.org. That's loveyourmindtay.org.
Starting point is 00:18:49 See how much further you can go when you take care of your mental health. I was diagnosed with cancer on Friday and cancer free the next Friday. No chemo, no radio. This is Devin. And we're best friends and journalists with a new podcast called No Such Thing, where we get to the bottom of questions like that. Why are you screaming?
Starting point is 00:20:09 I can't expect what to do. Now, if the rule was the same, go off on me. I deserve it. You know, lock him up. Listen to No Such Thing on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. No Such thing. This is an IHeart podcast.
