This is an I-Heart podcast.
My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious.
Wait a minute, Sam.
Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.
Well, Dakota, luckily, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon.
This person writes, my boyfriend's been hanging out with his young professor a lot.
He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her.
Now he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone.
Now, hold up.
Isn't that against school policy?
That seems inappropriate.
Maybe find out how it ends by listening to the OK Storytime podcast and the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

between a maximum security prison or the most brutal boot camp

And we're locked in.

Terrible love advice.
Evil spells to cast on your ex.
No, no, no, no.
We're not doing that this season.
Oh.
Well, this season, we're leveling up.
Each episode will feature a special Bestie, and you're not going to want to miss it.
My name is Curley.
And I'm Maya.
Get in here.
Listen to the Super Secret Bestie Club on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
This is the Ben and Ashley I, almost famous podcast with IHeartRadio.
It's time for another almost famous podcast.
Yes, Ashley and I are together.
I get to sit in the presence of Ashley.
High Kennedy.
And I am so pumped about it.
We are in Newport, Rhode Island, her hometown right now.
I get to spend the day with Dawson.
is very special. And we're here because tonight in about 40 minutes, we're going to be
stepping over to Audrey's coffee shop for a live podcast with some live humans. Yes, I am so pleased
to be here on this podcast with you in person, Ben. Are you happy I'm in town? Yes. It's so nice to
have you in town. Why are you sitting like that? I have no idea. I have no idea. We're sitting on a
bed right now and I am like crouched over with my leg straight. I don't know what I'm doing
right now. Ben, we're doing four podcasts in the next four hours, four podcasts. I'm very excited. We have
some great guests coming to Audrey's. Cassie Randolph is in town along with your friend Jill.
Yep. Well, Jill's always in town. Yeah, but we're going to be doing a show. It's going to be a special
night. But we do have an episode of Bachelor in Paradise to break down. You were there.
For a lot of this, right?
I was.
I was there for all of this, except for, like I said on Monday's episode, Jared and I
slept through most of this action, most of this drama.
I'm telling you, 50% of what goes on in Paradise this season happens after 1 a.m.
So it would not be very Ben Higgins friendly.
No.
This guy goes to bed, guys, or he and Jess go to bed at 8.30, 8.45.
Yeah, we're asleep by 9.30.
I think it's very normal.
That is, like, very grandparents.
of you. Well, a lot of things I do in my life is very grandparent of me. I have this theory,
Ashley. I don't think I've ever shared it with you, but I've shared with my wife. I want to find
enjoyment and the things that I know I can be enjoying at 80 years old so that I don't have that
midlife crisis. Oh, okay. That makes sense. Yeah. So I've, I've lived a lot of my life prepping
to be 80, knowing that if I can today enjoy my glass, my, you know, two fingers of whiskey at night,
my golf fingers my golf game is two fingers a shot or two shots it should be a shot if you have a normal
glass and you one ounce is about the depth of your fingers so you go to which about you sip on that
um I can enjoy my golf games on Saturdays with my buddies I can watch college football and
NFL football and I can go to bed at 830 uh and life is good like life will be good forever not a lot has
to change in my life so uh no paradise would not be for me I would not do well there
is a question. Obviously, you and Jared spoke about your time on the show. You had free
rain then to do what you want when you want it. Like you don't have to, you didn't have to
wake up at a certain time or go to bed. Oh, it was the best. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We could
wake up whenever and then casually get coffee. Jared would see the guys all miced up. And he was like,
hey, just grabbing coffee and going back to my solo room with air conditioning in the private
bathroom. See you later. It was so nice. Nobody needs to
give you any heat for going to paradise because if you can have a couple's trip and get away
and have air conditioning on a beach, I support it.
Thanks.
Many people do.
Okay, Ashley, let's run through this episode that you are part of you at the behind the scenes
look.
Let's start with the beginning of the episode, as always, and walk through it.
All righty.
Bullet point number one, relationship that we shall, relationship human being, we should
talk about first is Sally. Sally came in the middle of the night again while Jared and I were
sleeping and we we weren't even sure she's going to show up. We had like a little inside knowledge.
You know, like so we hear from last last week that Wells tells everybody that story, you know,
that she kind of like left a producer hanging, missed a flight, you know, was there at the gate,
didn't get on the plane, had multiple flights booked, didn't get there for any of the flights,
um how to producer wait in the car the trunk of a car an SUV i don't know the people who like some
people say that this is legit like it was really at the trunk of an SUV for like four to five
hours that's not good no and the heat of like tennessee in the middle of the summer there's
no way like i just am so confused by this but she was having this long conversation with her
ex there blah blah blah i know this you know this i remember
knows this.
But like, so Jared and I heard this from a producer, not from Wells.
And the producer was like, I think she's coming tonight.
But I'm not 100% sure.
We can't be 100% sure about anything with Sally.
Lo and behold, Sally did come down the stairs that night after 1 a.m.
and was like up and away out of paradise by 3 a.m.
She just got down there and felt super uncomfortable because the girls were questioning why
she was there.
Her status at home back with her ex-fiance.
Like, why is she getting his approval to go on the show?
I do think that getting approval from a guy that is supposed to be your ex is kind of,
what do you think about that?
No, I think it's, I mean, I don't know approval is the right word.
You don't need to get their approval, but I did.
Like a warning.
Yeah, I just warned some of the people that I've dated and that were serious in the past.
Like, hey, I'm going on this show.
Yeah, but she wanted like approval.
Yeah, that's different.
And I think there is, Ashley, I think there is multiple.
sides of this story. I don't think
we're ever going to know it all or the true
story. I know that a lot of people think that like
the producers hate her and
like the cast hates her, but she
legitimately seems like
a mess.
She seems like somebody who had no respect
for anyone. The way
that she just would not get on planes,
would not show up when
she was told.
But my question is, why did they
fight for her so bad? Why did they want her
there so bad? Was it because
she and Justin had a former, like a fling or a kiss at stagecoach.
And I knew that stagecoach, they wanted to bring kisses at stagecoach back as a storyline.
Or maybe they wanted just the fact that she seems like a flighty character.
I would say she won this season.
She was never there and still made more air time than most of the contestants so far.
So she's winning.
I think she's brilliant.
All right.
Well, obviously, there's really nothing much to talk about.
She didn't solidify any sort of connection.
She felt a little bit bullied, but I wouldn't call it bullying.
I'd say the girls were truly questioning, like, why are you here?
If you seem to so badly not, why be here if it seems like they had to pull teeth in order
to get you here.
Also, approval from your ex.
She's saying that she works with her ex, and that's got to be BS.
Her, she works with her ex.
I think her ex is a doctor.
she didn't she's like a nurse she's a nurse yeah i think so i remember that okay okay so she could be a
nurse in the office now okay to play devil's advocate here's my position if i showed up to a beach
that i'm already nervous to show up to that i'm a tad hesitant to even go to and everybody
teems up on me i bet i'm bouncing also like i'm not sticking around for that yeah i know i'm going
i'm out i'm out i don't need to be here but why should go in the first place well that's that's a good
question. I have no clue.
If it was so difficult for her.
Because her bag was there. Yeah, she had to go back and get her stuff.
Yeah, she had to get her stuff. She's like, hey, I don't know what else to do,
but like my bag is in one place. I'm in another. They're not going to give me my stuff back
unless I go show up to this beach. So I guess I'll find a Mexico for it. Yeah.
Okay. So on from Sally then, obviously there is. You don't have to talk about us.
You don't have to talk about us. I'm not going to talk about you.
Oh, okay, good, because there is nothing consequential that we didn't have to talk about it.
I mean, other than the fact that I, I enjoy seeing you guys on the beach, I mean, that, but I wasn't even going to say that.
I thought I was like, well, technically the next piece is, uh, we really definitely don't have to recap our boom, boom room.
Holy crap.
I cannot believe that they, I actually, I can believe that they made it such like this storyline.
It's like, oh my God, is it going to happen or is it not going to happen in the boom boom room.
Did it happen?
Yeah, but I was like definitely made it seem like it was like a wedding suite.
Like I wanted it like, I wanted it like, I wanted.
Like, you don't, like, tradition.
Was it like special?
Not particularly.
But it's definitely like, you know, your wedding night, you're like, ah, I'm tired.
Do I really feel like it?
But do I, do we want to do it for tradition and like to say that we did it years on the road?
For sure, we have to say that we did it.
But, yeah.
Just have to do it on a camera.
We covered the camera up.
That never works.
It doesn't work.
No, well, I don't know how people don't cover the camera up.
How do they do that?
How do they, like, have sex in boomer rooms and not cover the camera?
Ashley, that's a question.
I don't know if I feel comfortable answering right now.
My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious.
Well, wait a minute, Sam.
Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.
Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast.

That sounds totally inappropriate.
Well, according to this person,
this is her boyfriend's former professor
and they're the same age.
It's even more likely that they're cheating.
He insists there's nothing between them.
I mean, do you believe him?
Well, he's certainly trying to get this person
to believe him because he now wants them both to meet.
So, do we find out,
if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not.

and all the issues affecting our Latin community.
You feel like you get a little whitewash because you have to do the code switching?
I won't say whitewash because at the end of the day, you know, I'm me.
Yeah.
But the whole pretending and code, you know, it takes a toll on you.

Our new super secret bestie is The Diva of the People.
The Diva of the People.
I'm just like text your ex.
My theory is that if you need to figure out that the stove is hot, go and touch it.
Go and figure it out for yourself.
Okay.

So Peter shows up.
Is that where you're going to go?
I was going to show up with this because he might be the most shocking guest to walk to the beach
this season for me.
I don't understand.
how he makes the cut for Paradise and others don't. And he does. Especially with his time
on the The Bachelorette. He wasn't an extremely likable figure. And there wasn't, I mean,
some people have like a villain edit. I don't know if I could consider his edit a villain edit.
It's a silly edit. It was just mostly a, hey, like he's just not somebody we're going to put a lot
of weight behind. But yet they use him in Paradise. And they make it a story.
this episode, and that's surprising to me.
Oh, that's surprising to you?
He's such a, like, he's such a foolish, foolish character.
It's like, of course they're going to use him as a storyline.
But it makes me feel bad.
Like, well, we have characters like this where they don't do anything malicious or
villainous, and we're just like, oh, this guy's embarrassing.
Why is he embarrassing?
He just has, like, an embarrassing, like, type of personality.
Like, that makes me feel bad to say.
But it's, but it's the truth.
Well, he's a pizza guy.
So a little bit of the...
He's the pizza guy.
to talk about pizza, incessantly?
I would say, the reason I was making the claim that I was earlier is it's interesting me
for them to use him because, yes, his personality might be the one that's goofy and funny,
but you have so many other great characters on the beach right now.
And we're not getting enough of like Andrew.
We're totally not getting enough of Andrew.
And so I would say, Ashley, this has been a theme through The Bachelorette and Bachelor
is where we're begging to get some character development and some depth with each of these
characters, yet we don't get them because they are filling the space, uh, which is unfair
to the audience. We have six episodes, right? It's a lot of episodes for, or six more episodes.
It's a lot of episodes. Oh, I think we have more than that, Ben. They added on six, I think this
season. They added on six to the normal. To the normal. I think we have like,
and so some of this, some of the opportunity there is for us to get to know the, the people that
are investing deeply into their relationships, the stories that are being told, the people that
are still searching yet we bring a Peter to the the beach and it's like okay not that I don't like
the guy I don't know the fella but I'm just not interested because of his time on the bachelor
in watching him oh see when I was there I was like as somebody who doesn't have to participate
in any of this I live for this moment because they bring you if you were there it was so funny
this is what I feel bad for the audience that they miss out on they had this bit going on that
they were going to bring out a pizza every like 15 minutes so while we were there and like he was
deciding who he was going to bring on a date they brought down like three pizzas and it was like
pizza time pizza time and they just don't show it and then every time they brought down pizza with
pineapple and he thinks that's like disrespectful to pizza and so every time they brought it down
and it was just too funny so I want to know the chef behind the scenes who gets the the he wakes
up in the morning, goes to work.
They're like, all right, today, we need you to make 30 pizzas.
But they need to be at 15 minutes, like, increments.
And he's like, oh, my gosh, just the show needs to leave Mexico right now.
I'm pretty sure when they're on the date, they were serving them pizza too and just bombarding them with it.
And they didn't show it or they didn't actually go through with that plan.
But I think that was the initial plan.
And I almost peeved my pants imagining that happened.
We all remember that my girl, Brittany, we all know that she's just not going to like this guy.
she's shockingly optimistic and interested in the in and semi interested or so it seems on the show my memory serves me that it was not necessarily like that it was more like i'll give him a shot i'll get out of this place for a day and she seems genuinely interested in him which may just have been a little bit of positivity for the camera i mean brittany brittany to me is still one of the most shocking stories of paradise shocking stories she's so amazing how she doesn't get all the attention yeah has been
been surprising to me from her time on The Bachelor
to her time on Paradise. I'm sitting here and going
what are you guys doing? Gorgeous and amazing
and smart and like everything just full package
it doesn't make any say it never has I don't know
if it ever will and now
these guys I mean I'm assuming
she goes on a day with Peter and these guys
are looking around like what have we been
doing? I hope that that is what was crossing
some of these guys' minds. There's one
thing that you guys aren't seeing and that is
Casey really was quite
interested and
they're not really showing that a lot but Casey was
trying and Brittany at this time was quite interested in Andrew yeah but that he wasn't really
making moves okay but she basically doesn't she comes back from this awful date and she's like he
talked about himself the entire time he even was trying to get me to compliment his eyes saying
aren't my eyes beautiful I get so many compliments on my eyes that's I mean that's a strategy and then he
goes like in high school. Hey, Ashley, are my arms really big?
They are.
No, granted. I do have this thing at night with Jessica that I flex and she every night goes
strong boy. And I think you. That's so cute.
Oh, that's so cute. Yeah, not that it's true. But it's something we do.
Oh, that's so cute. I love that. That's different when it's with your wife.
And he's like, did you know that I won best eyes in high school and like all this crazy stuff?
And he's not complimenting gorgeous, gorgeous her. So she comes back. She's grossed out.
so gross out. She's like almost feels like violated from this date. It was so bad. Like I felt bad.
Like she was like I need to take like an emotional shower. I feel like I need to pick a real shower, an emotional shower. Poor girl. But then she was like I am going to just put it out there with Andrew tonight because I need a I need somebody to basically be my night in sunshining armor. And we see that they do have a nice little moment and they kiss. And truly I have no idea where this really leads. Because just.
Jared and I, thankfully, according to Moses' Bachelor Nation,
we'll be leaving on Monday's episode before the Rose, for the cocktail part.
About time. Yeah. Yeah, so we leave before the cocktail party, so I have no idea what goes on between the two of them.
It's very romantic kiss. It's very sweet. It's very, very cute. I mean, I remember she drops her wine glass down to kiss him? I mean, that's a very, that's a very, it's only a move you would make when you don't own the wine glass that you drop.
But it is very sweet.
And I feel like this could go somewhere.
I see them together.
They both have a very joyful connection.
And I'm hoping, actually, we do see more of them.
This is a relationship I want to see blossom, but I want to watch it blossom.
I want to be familiar with it so that I can either celebrate it or cry over it as the season ends.
Yeah, I know.
It's so cute.
Okay.
So the next big thing we have to talk about is your friend.
No.
Oh, I thought you were going to say.
Your fantasy sweet. Okay. Sorry. See, now I'm becoming Peter Pizza Pete. This is twice now. Ashley's gone. Don't talk about me. I'm like, I wasn't. Don't worry. Your friend who will be joining us tonight at Audrey's Jill. Jill has her date. I want to ask you from somebody that was talking about Jill before Paradise. As somebody you liked and enjoyed, we've been watching here. And we enjoy watching her on television. She was on our podcast last week. We have a connection with her.
When you're there and you're seeing this happen, are you excited for her?
Are you questioning the move to go with Jacob?
Are you nervous?
What's going through your head?
Oh, I'm like, I'm just glad she's having fun with somebody.
Okay.
Being light with somebody.
This is not her husband.
I know this.
But hey, if they're going to have some fun in paradise, go for it.
I was astonished when she came back and she was like, I got naked with him.
And I was like, oh, so you got like leaf naked, like where you had like leaves on your
boobies and your jaja.
And she's like, no, no, no.
We were naked, naked, touching each other's fronts.
And I was like, oh, my God.
How does that work?
That pushes the envelope.
I would not be okay with this.
Like, I would not have been okay with it.
But she was chill.
There's a lot of things in my mind right now.
And I just don't know how that is.
I just don't know how that you operate in that and feel comfortable for multiple reasons.
How do they pull this off?
I don't know.
This is the first time people got truly naked on a date.
the show, I feel like, except for like maybe some of those moments like out in the ocean and be like,
do you have a problem with it? Do you have a problem with it? Yeah. I certainly would have had a problem
with it if I was on the date and I was encouraged to be putting myself in that position, which I would
not. I would have absolutely refused. I would say that I know that you would have refused too.
I would have refused. I feel like it does put people in a weird position. Like I don't have, I've
had very, very few people in my, have seen me naked. Yeah. And, uh, I would,
I would not be okay with doing that with somebody that I knew for a week.
Especially on like on a date on cameras.
A shit on camera.
Yeah.
There's different scenarios.
I don't know.
I don't love.
But it doesn't come across super trashy because there is some elements of like like like like I get it.
I just don't love the show asking people to do this.
Yeah, yeah.
We can go away from that.
This goes back to like throwing on a wedding dress and taking pictures.
Like we just don't need it.
Yeah.
It doesn't feel like it's necessary.
and it doesn't feel like your teenager at home
wherever it is,
is probably like watching this
and the family's like,
oh, this is all cool, right?
I would have such an issue
if I had teenagers watching this, I think.
Yeah, so all right.
Well, that's the date.
Jill comes back.
She says she got naked.
What was your take?
Outside of what we saw on the show,
on this date.
Well, she just had it so much fun.
And she was feeling so great
about her relationship with Jacob.
I was like, down.
I was like, okay, if you were comfortable with it, then fine, good for, I'm glad.
I'm glad you had a great time.
I'm glad you got, like, I'm just glad that you have somebody who's giving you affection and attention in paradise because a couple of days earlier, she was so down about feeling unwanted.
She's like, nobody ever wants me.
And then all of a sudden, there's this guy who's basically all over her.
So I was just really happy for her.
Oh, that's great.
My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious.
Oh, wait a minute, Sam.
Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.
Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon.

I mean, do you believe him?
Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him
because he now wants them both to meet.
So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend
really cheated with his professor or not?

Hola, it's HoneyGerman
And my podcast, Grasias Come Again, is back
This season we're going even deeper
Into the world of music and entertainment
With raw and honest conversations
with some of your favorite Latin artists and celebrities.
You didn't have to audition?
No, I didn't audition.
I haven't audition in, like, over 25 years.
Oh, wow.
That's a real G-talk right there.
Oh, yeah.
We've got some of the biggest actors, musicians,
content creators, and culture shifters,
sharing their real stories of failure and success.
You were destined to be a start.
We talk all about what's viral and trending
with a little bit of chisement,
a lot of laughs,
and those amazing Vibras you've come to expect.
And of course, we'll explore deeper topics
dealing with identity, struggles,
and all the issues affecting our Latin community.
You feel like you get a little whitewash
because you have to do the code switching?
I won't say whitewash because at the end of the day, you know, I'm me.
But the whole pretending and cold, you know, it takes a toll on you.

Hey, sis, what if I could promise you,
you never had to listen to a condescending finance, bro, tell you how to manage your money again.
Welcome to Brown Ambition. This is the hard part when you pay down those credit cards. If you haven't
gotten to the bottom of why you were racking up credit or turning to credit cards, you may just
recreate the same problem a year from now. When you do feel like you are bleeding from these high
interest rates, I would start shopping for a debt consolidation loan, starting with your local
credit union, shopping around online, looking for some online lenders because they tend to have fewer
fees and be more affordable. Listen, I am not here to judge. It is so expensive in these streets. I
100% can see how in just a few months you can have this much credit card debt when it weighs on you.
It's really easy to just like stick your head in the sand. It's nice and dark in the sand.
Even if it's scary, it's not going to go away just because you're avoiding it. And in fact,
it may get even worse. For more judgment-free money advice, listen to Brown Ambition on the IHeart
Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.
I mean, just have to mention it.
The Serene and Brandon, we finally get them on this episode.
Well, we got them on the other episode where they had the date.
Well, sure, but we finally get them on this episode.
Oh, that's true.
Their relationship continues to be one that I think all of Bachelor Nation is going to remember
and support and be excited about.
It's a very real relationship.
and I put myself in like Brandon's shoes for a second and I think how cool it would be
to be where they're at in their relationship with somebody while at the same time
still knowing there's weeks in front of them on the beach and they just get to enjoy it
together and get to know each other more and share these experiences that hopefully
they'll laugh about and smile about and have for the rest of their lives I am a huge
fan of them and very excited that we get to see more of them for weeks to come he was the
cutest. He was just so cute in this
moment. Ugh, the love
was just evident. Um, he
wanted to make her feel so special. And the birthday
cake was truly
delicious. I, of course,
in classic Ashley fashion,
ate a ton more
than everybody else. Okay.
Logan and Chenet.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Logan and Chenet.
Okay. Logan and Chenet, geez.
Um, this is just something that I am not
invested in here watching or
there on the beach because it just was
like there's nothing's going to happen with any of this i guess i don't know for sure whether
i think does happen with any of it but it just doesn't feel strong uh so logan steals cheney from
james she has like some love triangle going on with james he wants to show that he cares about her
and hopes that she can see herself with him and logan says that he heard that there's a treasure
there's treasure in the area so he puts on snorkel gavels which is actually quite adorable and then
he grabs a bottle and then there's a bracelet in it also quite adorable um and he says it's his
lucky beads and he tells her to hang on to them chenay says she doesn't like jumping around and she
likes to be all in so she doesn't want to be like going back and forth between james and logan
um she said that she's that he she likes that that he's stepping up a little bit and she likes like
where this is going uh she thought that the little at home date was thoughtful and now
she doesn't really know what she's going to do she has a hard decision
ahead of her the night the night you know ahead the next night at the rose kiss ceremony um she
says that when she's with logan it's hard not to think of james so i think that that's kind of like
your sign there well i mean overall your take uh you just highlighted the the moments between them but
your take on this relationship is interested in me at the beginning you said i'm just not that
invested into this relationship is that because of the two people involved or is it
no there just like no flame there just there was no fire no spark i'd like see that
them out and it just seemed like blah.
Okay, that's fair.
Well, the rest of this episode is intriguing because Kira shows back up.
Yeah.
She went home last week if you don't remember and she shows back up to take care of unfinished
business according to her, according to her.
Kira continues on her process to try to find somebody, but at the same time causing some
damage along the way, kind of upsetting the current things going on.
it's interesting to me, ironic, you may say, that Jill and Jacob go on a date that day
while Kira shows up that night to talk to Jacob. Isn't that interesting how that worked out
perfectly timing-wise? Two questions for you off the bat here, Ashley. How does somebody
leave and come back? Is it that easy? We saw it with Dean. That obviously worked out pretty good
for him. But does she just go to the hotel and chill for a week and ask to come back?
Did she go back home?
I think she's probably at the hotel for like 48 hours and it's not even a week.
Okay.
Yeah, she was, she left the day before Jared and I got there.
Yeah, so this is like, maybe she was there for three days.
Didn't know that she came back in the middle of the night.
You were asleep.
Yeah, again, big entrances and we're not there for.
So she tells Jacob, she's like, I was shocked that you didn't give me the rose.
And truthfully, based on what we saw on TV.
it did seem like they had the most like physical connection
and I would have expected him to give her the rose too
but she just needed to get like feel closure on that situation
but then she just still can't stop thinking about Romeo
she really thought Romeo and her were going to be a thing
she's definitely not putting all of her eggs in one basket
no well yeah she you're right
kind of sort of I don't know she's just ridiculous
that's what she is
she's just hanging around and she's like
you know what I'm thinking that I need to
go back for closure with Jacob
and then I need to go and
try to win Romeo back over
I don't know why she needed to talk to Jacob right
like I don't think that if she wanted to go down
and see if she could get one more try
with Romeo okay but like I don't think you need to
talk to Jacob I think the Jacob thing was just supposed
to freak Jill out
they wanted Jill to be like
oh my God she's going after
the guy that I'm into when I'm feeling good about it.
Well, I mean, and it works.
It does freak Jill out.
So Jacob is kind and considerate.
It thinks it through.
There feels like there could be a connection between Jacob and Jill.
But then Kira, like I said, doesn't put all of her eggs in one basket because she does pursue Romeo, which ends in a kiss.
And then it ends with him leaving with her.
I can't believe this happened because I didn't even know.
I didn't even know this.
So you know how on Rose Ceremony Day.
they split the girls and the guys
and you don't really know
there's no action going on.
Yeah.
So I didn't even realize
Romeo was gone.
Well, I feel like again,
people are finding loopholes to the system
because if all you
have to do is walk off the beach
at some point and you're not ready to
get engaged, then
go do it. You get a nice
hotel room at the Vedanta, you get to hang out
and get some room service, you're off the beach, you're in air
conditioning, you have your own boom boom room
for crying out.
out that nobody's videotaping at that point.
Yeah.
I mean, if this is the way things can go,
if people can just choose to come and go as they please,
then what are we doing here?
I mean, keep them, keep them on the beach.
I want to see where this goes.
I want to see them break up tomorrow.
Like, I want to see this relationship start and finish.
There should be just a follow-up show.
Life at the Vendanda.
See?
I'm sure, I'm sure it wasn't just that easy,
but it is interesting to watch.
Well, another episode of Paradise,
Ashley, your take so far, obviously, this is final episode that you guys are a part of.
Well, not do you include Monday when we say goodbye.
Well, you say goodbye.
Do you feel like Paradise is at this point?
We talked about at the beginning of the season, like, hey, are things exciting?
You said, hey, it's week one.
I know it picks up.
I know the speed of this picks up.
I know people are going to enjoy watching this.
Do you feel like now we're, I don't know how many episodes in?
We are five full episodes in.
Do you feel like it's doing what you hoped it would do?
Okay.
it's actually like kind of slow but why because it's so stretched out we are going we are we've
had five full episodes and we've only had one rose ceremony and we're still very far away sort of
from next rose ceremony because monday night's episode will probably be mostly cocktail party
followed by rose ceremony so i would say there's another hour of content before we even get to
the rose ceremony so yeah it's a good thing we even get to the rose ceremony so yeah it's
feeling slow because there's not a lot of people coming in.
Yeah.
You know, because normally it's like, oh my God, somebody's coming down the stairs.
There's another date and somebody is stealing so and so.
But right now, there's not a lot of stealing and worry, which is a horrible feeling to actually
experience down there, but great for the audience.
Yeah.
And we, there's no anxiety.
And we love a little anxiety watching.
Yeah.
Some comedy.
There's also not like a ton of comedy.
No.
What do you think?
No, it's not making me giggle and,
laugh and I like to giggle and laugh actually it's not doing it for me you like to giggle and laugh
yeah I like to go it's not doing it for me I I would say I'm kind of checked out at this point
I'd like to get back into it because I love paradise I look forward to it every year for multiple
reasons and I'm just not there but let me tease what will be a huge twist okay uh how do you and
Jared's day no Jared and I are gone but once that rose ceremony is over on Monday night
Jesse comes in with an announcement that will divide the community.
That will change the lives of all of Bachelor nation.
It won't change the lives of all bachelor nation, like the carnival or the cruise.
What was that, Virgin Cruz?
Yeah.
It's not going to change the lives like that.
Okay.
But it's, it is something that we've never seen before in paradise.
And I'll use the word divide.
Interpret as you may.
All right.
You get it first.
Ashley says there's a divide in paradise that we all got to look forward to.
Well, that's all we have for you today.
We're going to head over to Audrey's coffee shop and lounge right now to do some live
episodes that will be put up on this feed.
So if you can't join us in Newport, Rhode Island, well, make sure you tune in.
And listen, they're going to be great.
We're very excited for them.
But that's another episode of the almost famous podcast.
Until next time, I've been Ben.
I've been, Ashley, you know that I like forget that every single time you're here.
when you're not here, I'm like, I, I, I, I, I, what?
I've been.
Yeah, I've been Ashley.
Bye.

My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly and now I'm seriously suspicious.
Wait a minute, Sam.
Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.
Well, Dakota, luckily, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon.
This person writes, my boyfriend's been hanging out with his young,
professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. Now he's insisting we get
to know each other, but I just want her gone. Hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That
seems inappropriate. Maybe find out how it ends by listening to the OK Storytime podcast and the IHeart
