of the ultimate girls trip. Lauren is here, obviously. Hello. We are heading to Beverly Hills on this road trip. There's a lot to unpack, starting with emotions. Mm-hmm.

Colin. Kyle. Kyle is emotional because, well, during this filming, it had been the 30th anniversary with Maricio. He did send her what I felt like was a sweet text. I love that text. I don't know how we got here is the text.

It's so sad. I mean, I don't know the ins and outs of their divorce, really. But that did seem like a very genuine text, and that would make me ball my eyes out and be like, oh, yeah, I guess they haven't divorced yet. It wouldn't even be considered a divorce. They're just separated because, like, money. issues, but that would make me be like, do you want to get back together?

Because that was so sweet. Do you, I mean, I know there's rumors going around about Kyle and who she's with and Maricio and who he's with. This feels like, and I might get in trouble for saying this. Because, again, I'm very unfamiliar with the Real Housewives world and I'm just stepping into it. But this feels like a movie scene where the two of them just like get together the hookup. Her and her husband.

her and her separated husband Like do you think Like on the anniversaries When he's sending those kind of texts Like they're just like hey You're a safe place I know you I know your body

I know like how you Deal with the world Can we like In a way like a movie would show Like it's healing Or it's really painful I think goes one to two directions Do you think they get together

And just like hook up Um I would think They may if he wasn't such a playboy around town now, like, because you can't separate yourself from that once you see like your husband that you're separated from hooking it with other people,

or at least I couldn't, I couldn't be like, yeah, let's just hook up once. Cause then I'd be like, what do I look like compared to these other people? And they're all young and, you know,

all that. And she's been through such a transformation with him. So I don't think they would hook up, but I think that text was very sweet that like maybe if it elicited that, then he would be excited. but I don't think she would ever do it. It's interesting.

Well, she does find comfort, I think, in some of the other ladies. There's actually one person that's on the van then with them that isn't divorced. Yeah, yeah. Lisa's the only one that hasn't been divorced. So they all understand what she's going through. I think that it was semi-divor. And Kyle is sober. She has some issues.

and like obviously that's fine. But when they're like, let's pop a bottle, you need to drink some non-alcoholic champagne. I was like, damn, don't you just wish you could drink for this one day?

Yeah. So depressing. I was like, if I was on a sprinter with my friends and I had to have a non-alcoholic champagne on my 30th anniversary, depression.

But anyways, yeah, so they all are trying to make her feel better. They all understand the pain. And then she's talking to Vicki about her divorce. And Vicky is, is still traumatized by her divorce.

14 years later, which I think probably sets Kyle back a bit and goes, I don't want to be this sad for 14 years. I mean, you really, you could be. I know that Vicky holds on to things for a very long time and she's like hyper emotional, like a roller coaster. So I think Kyle is more even keel than that. But I mean, yeah, I'm thinking, I've never been divorced, but I'm pretty sure being sad about it for the rest of your life is a thing.

I mean, I would imagine that it also doesn't help, that it doesn't feel like they hate each other, right? It still feels like they're, for the most part. They're separated for a reason. I'm sure that it wasn't like all rainbows and butterflies. But it does feel like there's pain still there, like a lingering amount of, hey, I wish we could have done this, or I miss you in some way. or and so yeah I do I think with all those things lining up this will be painful for a long time because you can't just rip the bandit off and say I'm moving on yeah but it just flash forward um since we're talking about maricio I just want to go to the ugly leather pants party at sutton's house real quick where jazelle brings up well where Kyle brings up when joselle said that she thinks marie's Racio is the hottest, like, house husband, and she would like to lay horizontal with him. Like, what a crazy thing to say about any fellow housewife.

And it's just super awkward. And that kind of just goes to show, like, yes, he's very handsome, which makes him a very easy playboy target. Yeah. And he, I mean, he is out there. Yeah. I mean, I know who he is because of his relational, like, dynamics. around town. He's a rich, good-looking guy who golfs, right?

Yeah, that's why I met him. Yeah, he golfs. He's a good golfer, too. Yeah. Goodness, he looks good doing that. Yeah. They do jump in a van, a sprinter van, to head to a pajama party. One thing I was reminded of, I don't even know if I knew it, but it wasn't, it didn't seem

shocking to me. Kyle's sister is Kathy Hilton. So she has access to the Hilton property. So they arrive at the Beverly Hilton. Kyle is hosting this pajama party for the ladies. Any time now these ladies get together. I get nervous. Yeah.

Because I think I'm almost PTSD in a way of anytime they sit down to have a good time, it's never a good time. I know. That's why I love Luan. so much because Luan just simply wants to have a good time. So they're all sitting around in their pajamas. And Luan FaceTime's her boyfriend, Michael. And I kind of love what she says about her relationship because she's like, I'm busy.

He's busy. So basically the way we work it out is we see each other when we can. And I think that's great for like their age. And then Vicky is like the highlight of this entire episode for me is when Luan ate a piece of chicken and then just put it down on the plate in front of her and Vicki like vomited like was dry heaving because there was a half eaten piece of chicken. It was like she chewed it up and then spit it out. It was just like she took a bite out of it. That's wow. Right? That was so weird. How does she have dinner with others? How does she have to do others? How do you share an appetizer? A bread basket? What does that look like? This is so bizarre. And then Vicki is like Luann is, supposed to be like the prim and proper countess, but, you know, she eats half a chicken. I don't know, very bizarre. But Luann wants Vicky to loosen up because she seems very, um, straight laced and she doesn't

have any fun or laugh anymore. All, all she thinks about is life insurance. Um, but the, the thing I thought was hilarious was when Luan called out, um, you wouldn't think this is funny, Ben, but I think the shade of her be like, your pajamas are polyester, darling. They'll, they'll dry just fine. Like, that is so embarrassing. Yeah.

I would hate for any of these women that come into my home and see my closet. Oh my God, I know. I know. Yeah. Not the countess. In fact, I wore a shirt the other day. And then Jess and I were looking through old pictures. That shirt is from the eighth grade.

Stop it right now. And I took pride in it. Like, I didn't see it as a bad thing. I see it as a good thing. And great quality back in the eighth grade. Great days. Yes, I agree. If it's still working.

It was a golf shirt and I had a picture of me popping my collar with it back when that was cool. So good. You had La Coss shirts. Yeah, like the La Coss shirt with the pop collar and the seashell necklace. So good. And that was me. I need to know how many golf shirts you have in your closet. Like so many.

So many. Yeah. So many. I am totally prepared, Lauren, to become a 40-year-old dad who wears golf shirts, tucked into his khakis to everything. Yeah, I mean, that just seems to be it. And you have to get a new golf shirt at every course you play. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

And you're not going to get rid of it because, like, oh, I had a good time that day. Yeah, no, I'll have just logoed out golf shirts everywhere with the quarter zip for the rest of my life. It's okay. Yeah. That's all right. It's good. It's good.

It's working for me. I have another kid on the way. So obviously something good is happening in my household. I know. Yeah, she's still into it. You were hinting at the fact that they wanted people loosen up because overall, and I mentioned it, I'm so nervous that these things are going to go sideways. This felt like a really fun gathering. In fact, Lisa says she's having the best time. She quotes saying that her SLC friends, like, don't make her laugh like this. They aren't the way these women are. Do you think this was the hope with this ultimate girls trip was that they would bring these stars together and they would get along? Or do you think drama was the motivation? I would think probably majority of fun because they're reliving, like, memories that were once dramatic.

but now they're just so ridiculous and they're so funny. Like we see with the release of rat or whatever the hell that game was. But Lisa is having so much fun with Porsche and she looks at Porsche. She's like, have you always been this way? Like a fun person? It's like she's never met a fun person in her life before. I felt really good for her. I'm glad that she's having a good time because like what they're just twerking and drinking.

Like, come on. Have a good time. Have a blast. Have a blast. Ashley would have hated that twerking moment. twerking and drinking. Yeah. Is that what girls do?

Ashley always feels, is that what girls do when they get together? They just drink and twerk? Not my friends, but maybe like, maybe a lot of girls though. Yeah, you could see it.

You could see that that would be a fun past time to get like, to get together. By the way, Ashley twerking is a hilarious image of my head right now. I'd rather die and see it. I don't want to. I want to see it.

I think it'd be amazing. Well, if we do get to see Ashley later on in this season. Who knows? I hope we do. I know. That would be amazing. Maybe Portia could teach her how to twerk. She would need a lesson from the best.

The best. The best to get Ashley to a place of watchability. Oh, yeah. That's all we're looking for. We just wanted to be something. We're like, hey, good job, Ashley. You did it. We all think of her

as the cringy older sister. Yeah. You did mention the pants, the ugly leather pants luncheon at Sutton's house. Lauren, kind of break this down. What were your takes from this? And then I think the question within this, obviously you brought up the comment, which I think is a big moment here.

Yeah. But as we kind of close out this whole second episode, was this an enjoyable watch for you? Like, are you into it? Yeah, I was smiling through a lot of it. I was catching myself smiling. because everyone's reliving these very hilarious moments. And I think that the luncheon was cute, making fun in leather pants, and Crystal was there.

And she can poke fun of herself now and be like those pants were ugly. You're right. And even the fights are kind of resolved very quickly. Like we saw Vicki and Giselle fight or Vicki and Teresa fighting on the sprinter. And she's like, sorry. She goes, okay, I forgive you. And then here even, Kyle was like, Jazella, I can't believe you said that about my husband. And then she was like, yeah, I know that was like bad.

Sorry, let's go play, release the mouse or whatever that is. So I thought it was enjoyable because we weren't like perseverating over a certain topic for very long. And I'm guessing for the audience, like for the big fans of this, they're enjoying seeing these contestants operate in a way that is not just battling each other, that they're going to see a different side of their personalities, a different side of who they are and how they interact and what their pains are. That's one thing here is so much of this episode, if we break it down, is about Kyle and, you know, the separation that she's in. This isn't drama-filled.

Even her and Maricio's conversation isn't drama-filled. It's a real-life pain. And I don't think we see that very often from my knowledge in the Housewives franchise is we don't see pains. we see confrontation and drama. I am enjoying watching these women be human. Yeah, I was going to ask you. Like you don't really know a lot of the lore, but are you enjoying this because it's not so crazy conflicty?

Yeah, you should see my search history. It's wild. There's a lot of what does this mean? Who is this person? Justina have Chad GD. And be like, okay, tell me a little bit about Crystal in these ugly pants. Yeah.

That's exactly what I'm doing. In the preview for the next episode, we see kind of a flash to Kyle's iconic white party. This, you would know. I mean, there's like some white parties out there that I see on social media sometimes that are like known and big time celebrities go to them. Is Kyle's known to be one of those? I'm going to have to say, I don't know. Heather, can we tap you in for this?

Yeah. So Kyle's party is more notorious. for being featured on the show. So like for a lot of seasons, her and Mauricio would host this white party. Was it celebrity filled? No. It was mostly like a family party with housewives

and people connected to them. But it's not like a known celebrity party, like say ditties was back in the day. Or like the Kathy Hilton Christmas party, which I'm sure she's probably trying to make it. Correct. The Kathy Holtz and her sister's Christmas party is massive and that is definitely more celebrity driven.

Yeah. Okay. That makes more sense. But we do get to see a flash to this white party. So we will learn more during the next episode. I don't know if Lou Ann and Erica already have beef, but we see some good drama between two very, like, dominant characters from two different franchises. It's literally East Coast versus West Coast.

I typically in an argument would say East Coast wins, right? I don't know. in this one. I don't know where Erica is originally from, but I would say she's giving some East Coast vibes. Yeah, don't mess with Erica. Oh, man. What a fun time.

Lauren, thanks for jumping on and breaking it down. This has been episode two of the ultimate girls trip. Our hope is that we get to see Ashley at some point. Who knows if we will? But we're still breaking it down. Why you ask? Well, because Ashley is a part of the Real Housewives franchise.
