This is an I-Heart podcast.
And here's Heather with the weather.
Well, it's beautiful out there, sunny and 75,
almost a little chilly in the shade.
Now, let's get a read on the inside of your car.
It is hot.
You've only been parked a short time,
and it's already 99 degrees in there.
Let's not leave children in the back seat while running errands.
It only takes a few minutes for their body temperatures to rise,
and that could be fatal.
Cars get hot, fast.
and can be deadly. Never leave a child in a car. A message from NHTSA and the ad council.
I was diagnosed with cancer on Friday and cancer free the next Friday. No chemo, no radiation,
none of that. On a recent episode of Culture Raises Us podcast, I sat down with Warren Campbell,
Grammy-winning producer, pastor, and music executive to talk about the beats, the business,
and the legacy behind some of the biggest names in gospel, R&B, and hip-hop.
Professionally, I started at Death World Records.
From Mary Mary to Jennifer Hudson, we get into the soul of the music and the purpose that
drives it. Listen to Culture raises us on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your

the players, the predictions, the pressure, and of course, the honey deuses, the signature
cocktail of the U.S. Open. The U.S. Open has gotten to be a very wonderfully experiential
sporting event. To hear this and more, listen to Good Game with Sarah Spain, an IHeart

It's the Almost Famous Podcast.
We are here with one of the sweetest.
And one of the people from Bachelor Nation with the best giggle, Chris Souls, Chris, welcome.
Thank you guys for having me.
Good to be here.
You know, Chris, I was just thinking, you know, he was talking about how you
You are so sweet.
You're also one of the most popular wedding guests in Bachelor Nation.
I feel like every bachelor wedding I go to, you're there.
Wow.
He's not even invited.
He just comes.
Yeah, exactly.
Best wedding crasher.
I mean, I learned that on my season.
You know, remember Whitney and I crashed that wedding, Ashley.
Remember that?
Oh, that's right.
Yeah.
And it was a big debate on whether or not you guys came up with the idea and you actually
four went
the rest
the actual date plan for the day
or whether it was this
grand scheme
from the production standpoint
to like make you guys think
that you were crashing the event
but like somebody put it in your head
it was a combination
it was funny because it was production
of course but
Whitney it was like
we should crash that wedding
I'm like yeah
should
like
I'm like looking at Bennett
being like, this is perfect, because she was already into it and it was already planned.
And we had, there was cameraman already in.
Wait, it was already planned.
So that was your date, but she came up with the idea?
Yes, we both kind of agreed that we should crash the wedding without, you know, anybody putting it in her head.
Yeah.
Interesting.
Yeah, we all like were quite threatened by that move because it just seemed like an intimate move,
like something that you two came up with together.
yeah i think we did we did but then they're just as as uh chance would have a production
wanted us to do it as well interesting so they were there we was a teamwork without us without
whitney even knowing it we were crashing i mean Whitney thought we were crashing wedding on our own
the whole time that's great i mean that's what that's what they want they want the they want
the they want that real reaction which is so hard sometimes on the show it was special i mean we were like
we were Whitney thought we were like we were sort of rules well and we all yeah 100% and like we
we were literally talking to the wedding guests and the friends of the family and Whitney's like
trying to sell that I'm her boyfriend and nothing to do with the show and she was on her game
the whole time it was funny she was like yeah what she says have you ever heard from that couple
again well wow
wedding?
Yeah, the couple whose wedding, you crashed.
Was it a real wedding?
Because I would have been annoyed that they took the spotlight from me.
I don't think we took the spotlight.
We enhanced it.
Right?
They had a nationally televised wedding.
That's special.
Speaking of enhanced weddings, we were all just at Nick and Natalie's wedding in Savannah, Georgia.
We had a great time.
It was great to see everybody.
Chris, your ex, Victoria Fuller, was also there.
How did that go?
Is that a weird run-in for you now, or is that just a run-in?
How do you process that entering into it?
You know, I knew she was going to be there.
I knew her and Nadley were good friends, and still was Nick and her are good friends.
And I was good to see her, you know, I don't know.
It's always a little bit of, I don't know.
it's weird anymore in this world that we kind of live in that we've you know i've got enough
exes that's when maturity is is a level where i can handle that you know she's a great person and
and um happy for what she's doing and so yeah it's still care a ton about her and so yeah it was just
nice to see her and got to talk to her a little bit at the uh at the wedding reception and so it was
good did you did you secretly wish that she was just still going to be with gregg and then
you have a quick hello like hi you're with someone just wanted to acknowledge your presence
but then once you're single you're like oh man this really adds a layer you're right you're
right actually it does add a layer of like okay but no it's potential it adds a layer of potential
it's just question marks then instead of like black and light you know so but now it's a truly
good friend and hope to keep it that way and
and yeah well the wedding was a really spectacular event and it is always fun to be
at these weddings because there is run-ins with other people from bachelor nation but today
we're here to talk to chris and chris specifically chris now we just talked about your ex
victoria being at the wedding um we have another one of your exes here on the podcast today
ashley does that really count i don't know we'll say it does
It doesn't feel like it anymore.
The question marks are gone.
You get Jared.
And I wonder if you're dating anybody today, it's kind of been kept secret for a while.
We haven't got to hear about your dating life.
And I'm curious.
Are you out there?
I'm definitely out there.
I guess not in a relationship at the moment.
But, yeah.
I mean, I think of, yeah, a class of myself.
as single and out there.
How do you get out there?
That's, well, yeah.
I forget the name of the town.
Arlington.
Arlington, Iowa.
Yeah.
What's out there?
Do you have to literally go out there to find new people?
Yeah, you really do have to.
The one fact still remains is that Arlington is not a hotbed for dating.
So, yeah, we're right in the middle of planting right now.
We're kind of have a rain day today, but yeah.
So getting away and going to weddings and doing things are sort of my getting out there.
So when you show up to a wedding, I mean, you're a very handsome fella.
You're looking good.
You're going to Nick and Natalie's wedding.
Are you walking in kind of surveying the crowd, seeing who catches your eye?
Of course.
Can you tell us a good, like, wedding story?
You know, not like I say wedding crashers, because in wedding crashes, the guys always used to hook up with somebody.
and you already you are told your wedding crashing story but like can you tell us a good story of like you
really hitting it off with somebody at a wedding have you is there anybody that was like the one that
got away you had from a wedding the one that got away oh man I can't remember any of those
things but um I don't know that I have any great wonderful stories that I can share but um yeah no
I mean, it's, I wouldn't say it's, that's the number one goal at a wedding for me.
I don't get, take me the wrong way.
I do go for, you know, supporting the friends.
Yes, to support my dear friends, Nick and Natalie and those that are celebrating their day.
But yeah, you know, it's anywhere now.
When you're single, I guess it's, you have to be able to be open-minded anytime that you are in a public place, not in a farm, you know, in a cornfield.
have to actually be pursuing in order to figure this out.
So when you are getting out there to date then,
we just mentioned weddings and you do attend a lot of them
because you're a good friend with many people
and you're a supportive friend.
Where are you going in your life to date then?
If Arlington is not exactly the hotbed that you are interested in,
where are you traveling to and going on these dates most often?
Oh, you know, it's sort of, I don't have a specific place, really.
It just depends, you know.
I'm looking to come out to Denver soon to come visit you, but you're never there, Ben.
But that's Menver.
They call it Menver for a reason.
Is it really?
Yeah, you got to go somewhere with a higher female population.
Yeah, you're right.
And some of that kind of can happen through social media too, right?
You know, so I don't really pick a specific area.
And being from a small town, I still like to travel.
So I've been sort of looking at different places that maybe have, you know, winter.
Winters are pretty tough in Iowa.
So being able to sort of build a place where I can go for weekends and weeks at a time when it's weather's crappy or not in the field.
But I don't have like a go-to.
and uh but so it's a little little social media little direct messages here and there you know
whatever then that works it works it's a great plan yeah i have no problem with the direct message
i mean i found my wife direct messaging her exactly i mean that's how nick and natalie yeah
This season, we're going even deeper into the world of music and entertainment
with raw and honest conversations with some of your favorite Latin artists and celebrities.
You didn't have to audition?
No, I didn't audition.
I haven't audition in like over 25 years.
Oh, wow.
That's a real G-talk right there.
Oh, yeah.
We've got some of the biggest actors, musicians, content creators, and culture shifters
sharing their real stories of failure and success.
You were destined to be a start.
We talked all.
about what's viral and trending with a little bit of chisement, a lot of laughs, and those
amazing vivras you've come to expect. And of course, we'll explore deeper topics dealing with
identity, struggles, and all the issues affecting our Latin community. You feel like you get
a little whitewash because you have to do the code switching? I won't say whitewash because
at the end of the day, you know, I'm me. But the whole pretending and coat, you know,
it takes a toll on you. Listen to the new season of Grasasasas Come Again as part of my
culture podcast network on the IHart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your

bro? Tell you how to manage your money again. Welcome to Brown Ambition. This is the hard part when you
pay down those credit cards. If you haven't gotten to the bottom of why you were racking up credit
or turning to credit cards, you may just recreate the same problem a year from now. When you do feel
like you are bleeding from these high interest rates, I would start shopping for a debt consolidation
loan, starting with your local credit union, shopping around online, looking for some online
lenders because they tend to have fewer fees and be more affordable. Listen, I am not here to judge.
It is so expensive in these streets. I 100% can see how in just a few months you can have this much
credit card debt when it weighs on you. It's really easy to just like stick your head in the sand.
It's nice and dark in the sand. Even if it's scary, it's not going to go away just because you're
avoiding it. And in fact, it may get even worse. For more judgment-free money,

What would you do if one bad decision forced you to choose between a maximum security prison
or the most brutal boot camp designed to be hell on earth?
Unfortunately for Mark Lombardo, this was the choice he faced.
He said, you are a number, a New York State number, and we own you.
Shock incarceration, also known as boot camps, are short-term, highly-regulated.
correctional programs that mimic military basic training.
These programs aim to provide a shock of prison life,
emphasizing strict discipline, physical training, hard labor, and rehabilitation programs.
Mark had one chance to complete this program and had no idea of the hell awaiting him the next six months.
The first night was so overwhelming and you don't know who's next to you.
And we didn't know what to expect in the morning.
Nobody tells you anything.

The Super Secret Bestie Club podcast season four is here.

Get in here!
Today we have a very special guest with us.
Our new super secret bestie is The Deva of the People.
The Deva of the People.
I'm just like text your ex.
My theory is that if you need to figure out that the stove is hot,
go and touch it.
Go and figure it out for yourself.
Okay.
That's us.
That's us.
My name is Curley.
And I'm Maya.
In each episode, we'll talk about love, friendship,
heartbrates, men, and of course, our favorite secrets.
Listen to the Super Secret Bestie Club as a part of the Michael Tura podcast network available on the IHartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
You got there at midnight and then the, I call them Crystal.
Because like for some reason, like, it's just funny when it happens to you.
Right.
You got to the hotel at midnight and then they were like, oh, we gave away your room, which is the weirdest thing.
I've never had a hotel say that like because you didn't get there until late in the evening that they gave away the hotel.
Normally they call you and they're like, hey, was your flight late or like, you still come in?
They're just, no.
Yeah, they just, they just happened to, happen to nix my reservation.
So I got there at midnight and found out that I didn't have a room.
And so they relocated me to downtown Savannah at, uh,
kind of in a little rougher area and I had an eight and it was a little concerning but yeah it was quite a quite an evening and and uh yeah it's things got I was at my flight was a little delayed out of Iowa and had some we were in the field and so yeah it was kind of comical the guy at the front desk just was not interested in helping me out so he just shipped me off to another hotel and and they made you pay for that a hotel yeah I'm it was weird and then they booked me a room for the following
evening. I don't understand. He said they were full and a lot of, uh, it is just this things that
just happened to me. And then the next day, very funny. We saw you downstairs in the lobby. You were
happy to have a hotel room at that hotel. You text me when we're already 20 minutes into the trolley ride
and go, hey, when's the trolley leaving? It's classic. And then you actually made it with plenty of time
with your other ride. Yeah, it was perfect.
It was perfect.
I had a great Uber ride.
The guy actually picked me up.
He's like, you know, I'm not supposed to, I don't want, I don't want this ride.
I don't know why they, I don't know why they gave me this ride.
I'm like, well, sir, I'm going to a wedding and I'm kind of late.
Can you make it work today?
He's like, ha, I don't know.
I don't know why they gave me this ride.
I just don't want it.
I'm like, well, I can't help you there.
I don't work for Uber, but I'll give you a good tip.
And so we became friends, though, and we got me over there.
He's like, the only reason I'm taking you is because you're going to a wedding.
I'm like, well, whatever it takes, man.
You did.
You showed up in style, but outside of the wedding now, kind of switching gears then, Chris,
we just were a part of the golden wedding.
Ashley and myself attended the Golden Wedding just a few short months ago.
I still have toenail polish on from that wedding.
So my toenail polish lasted longer than the relationship.
But, you know, yes, I do need another pedicure.
That has to be a meme.
I cut my toenails since then, okay, guys?
They're just the lingering effect, not growing.
There was no judgment on this show.
There's things that are on my body months.
I just haven't painted them since.
Ben Dees, has there any toenail polish on your nails?
There's not, but there is still fresh memories.
It feels like it was yesterday, and it really wasn't that far past yesterday.
And the big reason now this couple has decided to split is distance.
They've realized that distance is an issue in their relationship.
Now, Chris, you also at one time were the bachelor.
and you were in a relationship following The Bachelor with Whitney.
And publicly, you had said that distance was one of the main reason, if not the main reason.
That relationship did not work.
Can you walk through for any listener why distance is such a hard thing to figure out coming off of this show
and maybe also answer to why people don't figure it out before they get engaged?
Or in this case, married.
It's just BS.
And it's a great excuse to put out in the public.
Which part would be BS?
I don't think any of it's BS, I guess.
Really?
I mean, I don't think the individual.
I mean, I guess my personal experience, none of it was BS.
I mean, real life happened.
You actually, you actually broke up because of distance.
Well, I didn't say that.
I mean, there was multiple reasons.
Did you not just say that?
Part of, I mean, it's part of any relationship is,
you know, proximity to, you know, your partner, right?
So I think it's, I don't think you can put one thing on my personal experience
and how that relationship, why it was not successful.
But distance, you know, after the show, I think has a lot of effects on,
on relationships just because it's a, you're living a different life right off the bat
for a few, for a few months, definitely, and for a few years and maybe forever.
So I think that, you know, and then having all those different dynamics thrown at you,
I mean, I know that my life was much different prior to being The Bachelor, much different.
And my relationship, relationships were much different.
You know, they weren't the same.
And so, you know, the reasons that we had distance were different from, like, what I would have had normally in my normal life.
Because of agriculture and farming has always created a challenge with being able to live near each other in previous relationships.
but I don't think you put one thing on any relationship after going on The Bachelor.
It's such a tough experience.
You're just taking on so many different life experiences,
and whether it's social media or being public in a relationship,
is changes.
It changes the game no matter what, who you are.
And distance is, I would say, if that was something that affected them,
maybe it is not quite 100%, but I would, yeah.
Okay.
Kids, I wouldn't, yeah, I don't know if I'm answering that question.
I don't know if there is a good answer, really.
It's a loaded question.
No, but I think you're right when you say it can be a factor,
which causes stress on the relationship.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I wonder if the path to is, hey, we're needing to make a decision on where we're going to live, right?
If we want this relationship to work, we've got to get close.
to each other. And then as you start having that conversation, then it starts opening up the
door to do we actually think this is going to work? Like, is it worth us to move closer to each other?
Because we have other issues that are very prevalent. And distance is definitely the culprit
for bringing those issues up because maybe we wouldn't have talked about them for a few more
months. But you know what? We're not going to work. It's not going to work. And so we're going
to blame it on distance because distance kind of is the factor. However,
if you know if there was so many other good things going on then distance wouldn't be a factor at all
Chris could you agree with that or do you see holes in that no I think it's easy to make kind of
you know you can make a broad paint a lot of things with a broad brush just to publicly say you know
and so it's their right to kind of keep some things personal regarding their relationship and
I'm sure like you said if it's one percent distance and then it's
a million other things that are affecting that than putting it on distance and that being the
public reason and then you know i'm sure there's a lot more to any relationship i mean it's a lot
easier than being coming out and being like well he's selfish and you're you know and you're controlling
and he's this and she like just distance is kind of this very level equal like hard to criticize
I actually appreciate that distance is the excuse more than no.
Here's how I really think about.
No, you do not.
You would so much more appreciate that.
That would be fun for us.
It's like, you know what?
Distance really is the issue because I don't want to move to you because I don't like you enough to move to you.
That's what it is.
And there's that.
You know, and the other challenge, like I mean, I've gone through a public breakup.
It's like, well, the reasons may be different for both parties, right?
So the one thing that they can agree on is distance, you know, maybe the one person has body odor, you know, we're not going to talk about that on social media.
I mean, there's, there's reasons that each person may just not want to, you know, and they might disagree on the reasons that they're even not going to be together.
So what they can agree on one thing, it's distance.
I have an insider story.
Chris, that I want to bring up. This is a rumor. I want to be clear that as I preface this,
this is a rumor of a generalization of a conversation that Gary and Teresa had. And I think
you're going to find it interesting. Now, this rumor is speculative, but it does seem to
carry some weight in truth that something like this did happen between them. And it was kind of the
culprit for the breakup.
Ashley, should I share it?
Yeah.
Have you shared this with me yet?
I have not shared this with you.
I love it.
Go for it.
This is great.
So there's a rumor.
Again, I'm going to be clear this is a rumor.
And if anything, we can at least, it may be not even speak to the fact that one of them
said this or didn't say this, but talk about how it would feel to you if somebody said
this to you, Chris, because it will relate to you.
there is a rumor that on Teresa's visit to Indiana,
Gary picked Teresa up at the airport.
It's about two hours from where Gary lives.
Now, that's just the thing about living in Indiana.
You're going to drive to an airport two hours every time.
Trust me.
And if she wants to go home a lot to see the grandchildren,
it's tough.
That's a tough commute, yeah.
So after he picks her up, they're both excited,
but there had already been some issues in the relationship.
ship. There'd already been some just grumblings and some things happening, but they're excited
to be with each other. But they're not seeing eye to eye in life. They're driving this two hours
from Indianapolis to his lake house. And most of that drive is through cornfields. Most of that
drive is through agriculture and untouched land in a lot of ways. And the rumor is that Teresa made
the comment to Gary, wow, look at all this beautiful untouched land.
Think about what could be done if they developed it, condos, office buildings, apartments.
Think about the towns that could congregate in these open fields and think about the people
that would be interested in moving here because look at that lake.
There's a lake with only cornfields around it.
Think about if they build up a resort where people could vacation to.
And Gary's comment back to her, again, a rumor was you don't take land from a farmer.
and that was the start of them realizing that they did not see the world the same way.
Are you making this story up for Chris specifically?
I'm not.
I think, no, you are.
Tell me stories before I go to bed and you're the best storyteller.
I'm like, can you keep going?
Yeah.
He is great.

My name is Ed.
Hello, Ed.
Hello, Ed.
I'm from a very rural background myself.
My dad is a farmer, and my mom is a cousin.
So, like, it's not, like...
What do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club?
I know it sounds like the start of a bad joke,
but that really was my reality nine years ago.
I just normally do straight stand-up,
but this is a bit different.
On stage stood a comedian with a story that no one expected to hear.
Well, 22nd of July 2015.
A 23-year-old man had killed his family.
And then he came to my house.
So what do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club?
A new podcast called Wisecrack,
where stand-up comedy and murder takes center stage.
Available now.

Hey, sis, what if I could promise you you never had to listen to a condescending finance, bro, tell you how to manage your money again. Welcome to Brown Ambition. This is the hard part when you pay down those credit cards. If you haven't gotten to the bottom of why you were racking up credit or turning to credit cards, you may just recreate the same problem a year from now. When you do feel like you are bleeding from these high interest rates, I would start shopping for a debt consolidation loan, starting with your local credit union, shopping around online, looking for
some online lenders because they tend to have fewer fees and be more affordable.
Listen, I am not here to judge.
It is so expensive in these streets.
I 100% can see how in just a few months you can have this much credit card debt when it weighs on you.
It's really easy to just like stick your head in the sand.
It's nice and dark in the sand.
Even if it's scary, it's not going to go away just because you're avoiding it.
And in fact, it may get even worse.
For more judgment-free money advice, listen to Brown Ambition on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get.

So this does have, again, this is a rumored story or a rumored conversation that
happened.
And it did spark there.
And I don't know if there's a right and a wrong here.
Like I'm not picking aside.
I know how I would feel in this conversation.
But Teresa, being from the city, sees, you know, open land and goes, hey, how cool would it be
if there's a park there?
If there's a condo there.
there's people there. Gary, being from the country, says, you know what? Like, that to me is what
that land needs to be used for. That's what's beautiful. We don't take that land. We don't develop that
land. And this was a big start to them disagreeing on how they saw the world and what they
imagined for the world and how they wanted to invest into the world. And so, Chris, if somebody were to
say this to you, how would you respond?
Probably someone has, but, you know, I think there's a, I view that subject.
I mean, I can see both sides to that 100%.
Yeah, I mean, there's, there's areas that that would benefit from development.
And economically, it makes sense, but there's a ton of land out there.
farmers have plenty of land to farm and sometimes there's some misconceptions that maybe there's a
shortage but they're not making new of it any more new land so there's that but um it doesn't seem
like something that should interfere in a fundamental breakup of a relationship I would say I think
there's a happy medium that we can all live with and have farmers can have their land and we can
sure build plenty of condos near the cities or where they need to be so I don't
don't think that should have resulted in a but you know teach their own i guess but i'm pro
pro development i mean i'm pro farmland so we just have to all work together well the the purpose of
that story chris is to really ask would that be a detrimental conversation in uh coming from a farmer
one of the the most successful farmers in the midwest would that be a conversation that would
end a relationship for you and what you're saying is no wouldn't it would actually do you could
find kind of both ideas and you could walk through that conversation well yeah now i i uh
would definitely embrace that conversation i think it's you know that coming this majority of people
i meet are not farming people so it's i'm very accustomed to having those type of conversations
just because it is different i mean the one percent of the population less than one percent of the
population actively farms um so it's there's just a lot of unknowns out there and to you know be able
to share them and help educate, you know, people that aren't really familiar with the agriculture
and farmland. It's, you know, there's some misunderstand misconceptions and misunderstandings about
land and what it should be used for and shouldn't. Yeah, it's a delicate thing because people get
pretty strong emotions about both sides of it. Ashley, you really think I just made up that story,
don't you? I'm 100%. And this is the moment where you reveal it.
no i did not make up that story that is where did you hear this story from i cannot i cannot talk about
my sources i have sources that stay in and involved and they're everywhere and so watch out what
you say we're like planted this story in ben's head because they're like this guy knows how to
lie a little bit better than ashley this is not this is not a lie there's no lying involved
here now chris uh to kind of close up here i know you and i had this conversation a little bit at the
wedding. I always got this sense, and I don't know if it was coming from you or coming from
the public, that coming off your time as the bachelor, there was always this hint or idea in
your head that you would be potentially leaving Iowa. Or maybe there is a curiosity about what
would life look like if you did leave Iowa? I always found that interesting because you have such
an investment in Iowa. Your family has such an investment in your town. You have such a
a successful business being ran out of that town.
I always thought it would be weird for you to, you know, move.
And you obviously haven't.
You know, we're years removed from you be on the show.
You're still in Iowa.
Okay.
So again, another two-part question.
Were you ever actually considering leaving Iowa?
And where do you stand today on that topic?
It's a good question, Ben.
You know, I have never really wanted to move.
from Iowa, it would be more or less having a place.
You know, a lot of farmers do have second homes like because it, you know, usually you're
in a very remote area without much social life.
I mean, it is an aspect of mental health to have some social life because inherently
farmland is located in remote areas.
So having a place, you know, where I could, you know, socialize date or have a family
and near school systems that are, you know, maybe have more access to different types of
education, whatever. But yeah, just from a lifestyle perspective, having a second place has always
been a goal of mine, actually. I haven't accomplished that yet, but some of those, you know,
things I think will come once I do find a relationship that is, that works, you know, and
I've always thought in my head, like, you know, until you make that move to have a, like, go
invest in a second place probably want to have somebody else that's wanting to be there as well
or maybe already there um so it's always been part of the master plan you know just to whether i go
out and invest in a place and have an Airbnb somewhere or something like that that i can visit um
it's always been something i've wanted to do i mean i've i've uh gone down to phoenix quite a bit in
the winter time and that's kind of a that's where my grandpa used to overwinter my parents are
visiting Florida in the winter times stay out of the winter so um you know just uh they call them
snowbirds and you know like you're you get out of snowbirds exactly i was going to say if they get
your parents were so um kind of that would be my you know eventual goal is to have but this will
always be where my roots are where home is i mean i yeah it's crossed my mind i've had tons of
people wanting me to move to l.a or hollywood and and do that sort of thing and it just
it's not me
you know and
even no matter how
you know there's been enough opportunity
that I probably should have really considered doing it
but I don't think I'd be happy
you did for a little while before COVID
yeah yeah I was out there for
that was just a little short stint
and kind of doing some stuff on the
hemp
the hemp CBD oil deal we were doing out there
and that was nice
It was enough to know that it's still home.
I can still remember being when COVID was kicking in
and we were starting to get ready to plant corn
and it was ready.
I was done with that part of my life.
Well, Chris, we are always rooting for you.
We want you to have a wife and kids.
So we will be thinking about it.

this podcast right now. It's all theirs to it. Well, this was the first wedding in a while or ever
that I didn't get the two of you dancing together. Because it's just, it's foolishness that must
be seen from everyone. I was like, is, oh, you know, Ben, darn it. I really should have made it
a thing. How do they not get you on film? I'm like, it's so ordinary to me now. I'm like,
oh, there goes Ben dancing. And then everybody like kind of like nudges me during a wedding and
they're like, have you seen Ben Dan's?
I'm like, yes.
Yes, his wife says that he goes to bed alone those nights.
Yeah, it looks good.
It looks really good.
It's a fantastic show.
Yeah, it's so smooth.

How serious is youth vaping? Irreversible lung damage serious. One in 10 kids vape serious,
which warrants a serious conversation from a serious parental figure like yourself.
Not the seriously know-it-all sports dad or the seriously smart podcast.
It requires a serious conversation that is best had by you.
No, seriously, the best person to talk to your child about vaping is you.
