It's the almost famous podcast. We're here today with you and we're breaking down a TikTok
phenomenon that is happening right now and it's closely related to Bachelor Nation.
We're very excited today because we have one of our favorite people joining us for this
deep dive. Now, Zachary
Reality is with us. Hello.
Hey. I want to start this with this.
Anyika has came out and said, hey, she feels like there's been a lot of victim shaming
going on as she posts these videos on TikTok.
We're going to dive into what these videos are. We call it, and she's calling it the Danish
deception. I'll be honest. I have questions for Anyaka. I think she is definitely the victim
here. This is awful. This is not good.
a lot of bad stuff happened to her
but I do have questions
that if she was here with us
and we did ask her to participate
and hopefully at some point she does
I would be asking her straight to her face
but our attempt today is to break down
this wild story
and the best way we know how
not only in support of her
but also wanting to ask the questions
of how does this happen
and how does it happen for so long
Zachary and Ashley, are you ready to talk about the Danish deception?
Yes, let's talk about the Danish deception, which is very similar to stories that
have became popular in the past few years, who the F did I marry on TikTok by Risa Tisa,
that was her true life story, and the tindler swindler on Netflix.
Zachary, you're familiar with this story.
You've broken it down a multiple times.
Do you mind just kind of walking us through your understanding of kind of the base level,
maybe part one of Anyika's video that she posted on TikTok?
Yeah, so basically she met this guy in Croatia and she was smitten by him and he really liked
her and it seems like he loved bombed her.
So he was inviting her on trips pretty quickly and she started to get feelings for this guy.
So she fell in love with him.
And basically, she later found out that he was a gambler, that he was lying.
He was borrowing money from her.
So she fell in love with someone who ended up being a con artist.
So that's basically like the story.
She doesn't just fall in love quickly.
She ends up getting married to him very quickly.
Do we know why she just went to the courthouse?
Oh, the green card.
The girl was scammed.
Mm-hmm.
I mean, there was one point that, like, her address was on his.
house and like he was really taking advantage of her. The story gets wild. You did a great job at
kind of setting this scene for us. As you mentioned, Anya goes with a friend to Croatia where she
meets this dude and he's an attractive fella. I mean, that guy is a very handsome man. He's like,
what, six foot four. He's muscular. And they're making eyes. They're in Croatia. And they get flirty.
but the electricity, like the chemistry is off the charts for the two of them at the beginning.
And really at the beginning of this relationship, it's a very normal relationship outside
of the fact that it's very long distance, right?
Yeah, but there's a lot of trips.
I mean, the first like six months, it seems like they're traveling everywhere all the time.
And what's interesting is in the beginning, he was paying for these trips.
And then eventually she started paying for the trips and she started loaning him money.
And I think that's why everyone is so shocked.
because she, who loans someone money that often, like all the time?
And, like, how could her family and friends loan him money and not even tell her?
Well, yeah.
So he tells her that he makes at least $400,000 a year.
To me, the sirens would be going off if this man who is making $400,000 a year is asking me for money.
Who asks, like, a grown man for money?
Oh, he also mentioned he's a part of royal lineage.
Yeah.
He also at the beginning of this relationship, just kind of in passing, mentions that he
participated in the Olympics and handball.
So he is setting the scene here to be this kind of one of a kind, I've got it all catch,
that so many people, you know, would be attracted to.
I can see where her initial reaction is, oh, my gosh, I found my dream partner.
and I want to pause here and ask you both your opinion
because he does pay for these initial trips
and they're not inexpensive trips.
She mentions the glamour and the luxury
and where they're staying during these trips.
I hear that and I think he is so manipulative
that he is trying to also set the scene
and say I am this wealthy guy
and this is what I can do for you
or do you think he at the beginning had good intentions?
I think that he had bad intentions the entire time.
Me too.
Apparently, he just married her right off the bat for a green card.
And I don't even know that he wanted to even live in the U.S.
He seems very entrenched in whatever frauds he's doing in Europe.
But I think he wanted to bring his frauds over here just to have another demographic.
Before we get to the marriage, there is a lot of things that happened in between there.
She mentions that on a date with him, and I think this is just a wild foot.
note that feels like a big deal, she passes out after a dinner, right? She falls down after a dinner
and is unconscious at the dinner wakes up and he says that she's been having seizures. She's peed
herself. She finds herself in the hospital and he is there beside her the whole time,
which is I think where she first mentions that she loves him.
that she's falling in love with him.
At the hospital?
After this very dramatic event.
Now, do we know anything more about this event?
Because it's a big deal,
especially if it doesn't happen to her very often.
Right. I mean, that's what everyone was saying.
It was like your body is telling you not to go.
And isn't that something that happened on like The Bachelor?
Remember that one girl got sick and she couldn't go on her one-on-one date
because she was like throwing up or something?
I don't know who that was.
Am I being too?
conspiratorial and thinking that it's weird that she ends up having a seizure
bleeding from her head and then like and having a severe concussion after dinner with him as
like do I think do I think that possibly he put something in something I don't know I mean
it's the question that I wanted to ask and and I think again we're coming at this at kind of guessing
and you know throwing out these ideas but when when she mentions that she passes out at dinner
And then we now have the hindsight of seeing who this man is.
I go, and seizures are not a part of her life.
This has never happened again.
All these things.
I'm like, what was put in her drink?
If a friend called me and said, I went on a date last night, all of a sudden,
stood up from dinner, passed out, and had seizures.
And I'm like, you don't seem to be a person that's told me about your seizures before.
I've never had them.
I'd be like, you got to get out of there.
Like something's bad.
Like, you got to get checked.
Go to the doctor.
see what's in your drink.
Literally.
I mean,
oh,
I just remembered it was Beverly
from Grant season.
She,
like, got sick.
Remember,
you guys probably interviewed
her.
But I think that,
um,
maybe she saw that as like,
wow,
like I was at my lowest
and he took care of me.
Like,
he stepped up for me.
He took care of me in the hospital
when I was,
you know,
in another country.
So I think she was just very manipulated
by this guy.
And I think the big thing
that he had bad intentions
is because she later found out
that he had another girlfriend
four months into their relationship.
when she finally realized who he was,
that's when she reached out to his ex, his sister,
and found out all of the red flags
that she has been ignoring the whole time.
But are they, they're married at this point?
Now they're divorced.
They got divorced in November.
Which is great that it happened so fast.
But she's not finding this out until the divorce?
Well, she found out once she found out that he was a con man
and she started looking into things once, once he broke up
with her and that's also crazy is he was the one that broke up with her it wasn't the other way
around so she was just so she was just so like out of it like she was so in love and could not
think clearly so the scene is now set they meet in croatia they go on these dates let's just
kind of there's like 19 to 26 i forget how many ticot videos there are of this they go on all
these dates she's falling in love he's taking care of her as you mentioned
when they first met, he was still with his girlfriend,
that this was like, he was still tied up.
So I do think, to answer my first question,
there was bad intentions maybe from the beginning
because, well, he entered into the relationship
while still in a relationship,
which I just think for most people,
unless that's discussed,
is not an acceptable thing to do.
Then, and I don't want to use the word brilliance,
but in like the most greedy evil brilliance somebody can come up with,
he starts slowly asking for money
and having all these excuses on why he needs the money.
And so they're in relationship now.
Anyaka thinks that she has met her Prince Charming,
that he's from royal lineage, that he's an Olympian,
that he's very wealthy.
And then he starts saying, you know,
talking about all these problems that he has on why he needs money.
One of the excuses is that the IRS has his money tied up due to some confusion.
The other one is that there is a really good investment in a business that he needs to make,
but he doesn't have the cash available to do that.
Another one is that his parents will no longer kind of release their trust funds to him
for this trip that he wants to take with her because they need to meet her first.
And so he asked for her to pay for certain things.
for this trip, there's all these excuses that he starts to come up with. And slowly but surely,
as you mentioned Zachary, she starts sending him money. And upwards of at the beginning, I think, like
$5,000 at a time. Yeah, it's a lot of $3Ks, a lot of 10Ks. And I think that she wanted to contribute
because it seemed like she got a lot of things for free. And I think she wanted to prove to this man
that she really loves him in that marriage to her, this relationship is an equal partnership.
So I think she originally was just, like, manipulated by him and she wanted to help him out.
She does pretty well on her own.
She's a real estate agent.
But I think after a few times, it's just too fishy and there's too much.
Like, when do you get tired of, like, all this back and forth and all the lies and why nothing ever makes sense?
I kind of feel like, on Yeka, you know, she should be mad at herself for just, like, not seeing the signs clearer.
And I wish that her families stepped in more when they found out that they were being asked.

It's not just a city.
I didn't really have an interest of being on air.
I kind of was up there to just try and infiltrate the building.
It's where Crunk was born in a club in the West End.
Four World Star, it was 559.
Where a tiny bar birthed a generation of rap stars, where preachers go viral, and students

How do you get people to believe in something that's dead?

The most anticipated guest from season three is here, The Trey to My Charlotte.
Kyle McLaughlin joins me to relive all of the magical Trey and Charlotte moments.
He reveals what he thinks of Trey giving Charlotte a cardboard baby.
Why would I bring her a cardboard baby?
I was literally, I was like, this doesn't track for me at all.
When he found out Trey's shortcomings.
I'm kind of excited at talking about, you know, I think he's a guy spends time in Central Park.
You know, he's probably, you know, he'll be some surgery stuff, you know.
And I was like, all this kind of stuff going on.
And they were like, yeah, yeah, yeah, fine.
And they said, but he's impotent.
And I was like, he's impotent.
And why he chose not to return to it just like that.
They came and presented an idea, and I was like, I get, I see it.
It's so kind of a one joke idea.
You don't want to miss this.

I had a friend who was in a sort of symbol-ish relationship.
She ended up finding out the end of like over a two-year relationship from his parents that he was over $100,000 in debt after she paid for.
a number of things like getting his car out of the impound and paying for so much of their lives
and it was she always knew it was suspicious she was always trying to defend our like highbrow
you know just went uh-huh and um i think and she kind of admits that she was just with him
because she was kind of like not really wanting to be single and i was afraid of what her life
would look like as like a 30 something single and i just feel like that's probably i mean i don't
know on yake is obviously beautiful she can have anybody so is my friend who had the same situation
there's no way she didn't actually see what was going on and thinking it was suspect it's just a matter
of choosing she's like do i want to continue to be in this comfortable is relationship you know
comfortable relationship with this guy that i find obviously very attractive or do i want to
want to be with, you know, or do I want to be single?
I mean, I think we're raising questions that are worth asking.
And especially with Anyaka's background, she's very intelligent.
She's a real estate agent in Dallas.
She's used to background checks and financial checks.
Yeah.
She understands, like, how finance works and how personal finance works and how loans work.
Now, there is the level where international law is different than
domestic law here in the United States.
And so there is probably the ability for a while
to talk about how banks are unwilling
to loan money to him and his country.
Now, that is not true.
In fact, some of the most successful banks
are Danish banks.
But maybe there was that kind of back and forth
that he's able to play into.
I think this is a good moment for us to pause, though,
and recognize the power
that attraction and love at the time can play into blinding us from some very clear things that are
right in front of us. I think, Zach, you brought up the best question. Maybe it's you, Ashley.
I forget who said it. Where was her family and friends at during this? Well, they were actually
so into him. Whenever they would meet him, she said that they loved him, the parents especially.
She also kept it from them.
She kept a few things from them.
Here's a big point in this story.
So just a few months into their dating,
they decide to get married without telling anybody else.
They do a courthouse wedding so that he can start the process of getting an immigration attorney
to walk him through getting citizenship here in the United States.
And so because of her family and it being a traditional Nigerian family,
she chooses that, yes, this is the best option.
Let's get married.
Let's make it official.
Let's start this process.
And then when we're ready, because goodness gracious,
we both know we're going to marry each other.
You actually propose, we can do the white dress wedding,
everything's good,
but let's at least do the semantics of getting married legally
first so that process can start.
Okay.
Yeah.
And you know it's bad when you don't want to tell anybody
you're doing something.
That's when you know you shouldn't be doing it
because if you tell someone you're going to get married, someone's going to tell you no.
So that's why she probably kept it a secret.
And I am glad that she got divorced from him pretty easily because divorce could sometimes take years, right?
Like, it seems like she was able to get it done.
And she didn't start talking about it online until after the divorce was finalized, which I think was interesting.
And the most, the biggest question I have is like, what does he think of the Danish deception?
What does he think that she put this all out online?
Like, has he seen the videos?
Well, didn't somebody mention, I'm not sure if we were recording yet, that he is still off doing scams as of like a week ago?
Yeah, he was in Tulum.
He's been spot in Tulum.
I'm sure he's familiar with the Danish deception.
Anya can never releases his name during her show or during her.
But she had a couple's, um, a TikTok with him.
She posted him on her TikTok for years or like a year, a bunch of couple videos.
they did trends and then she deleted every single video restarted she did a really good job i think
branding the series the danish deception it's so good and i think it'll be really interesting to see if
this does get picked up by a network and become a documentary there's a few things that i want to point
out after they got the courthouse wedding done with he said that he couldn't afford a ring and she was
okay with that again like is she not question why did he even say that he came for money or was like royal or
anything if he just continuously
proves that he doesn't have any
liquidity. Then
he says that the IRS called him
and so is this the American
IRS? He owes
$318,000
in taxes and his dad
owes $12 million.
Yeah, I'm assuming that would be the
Danish IRS
because of their family business.
You know,
we've probably
all of us are old enough and have walked through life long enough to recognize and see that
insecurities oftentimes bring about lying in people, right? I mean, it's getting in the habit of
lying, seeing the attention that you can get from lying, you can talk about how you're in the
Olympics and everybody wants to ask you about it. It feels good, especially when you're insecure
and you're not getting that attention from other places. It really sounds like he started lying
from the very start and couldn't get himself,
I don't know if he actually ever wanted to.
Typically what happens is somebody tries to get themselves
out of the whole of the lies they dug and told.
It doesn't sound like he ever tried to.
He was just continued to dig more and more lies
to continue to get more and more money,
which is interesting that he is the one that at the end
called this whole thing off and asked for the divorce
because he might have gotten what he wanted.
The big reason here,
if any of us are asking,
this money go? There was over, I think the number is $300,000 that Anyaka is trying to,
I think it's been hard because of family and friends of hers and also herself. But about
$300,000, let's assume, based on her estimates that are missing and were given to this guy.
$300,000, ladies and gentlemen, that's a lot of freaking money. Let's talk about how he was hiding
the money that her family was giving him.
He would say things like,
I'm building a house, this is a secret.
Just, can you, if you could give me 300,
like, $3,000 just for like a down payment on land
or a lot or blah, blah, blah.
And that is crazy.
And she ends up telling them,
I'm leaving this guy.
And they're like, uh, he took money for me
and hasn't reimbursed me for yet.
Yeah, he like told her assistant.
or can you lend me some money so I can buy on Yaka like this present or this car?
I'd be like, no, she doesn't need it.
If you can't pay for it, then no.
I think the biggest thing is like if someone asks me for money, like I'm literally
going to say no, like ask someone else.
I don't loan out money to people.
Like I just don't understand how she could constantly loan out money to this guy or anyone.
Like, it just doesn't make sense to me.
I personally have, and this was early on in this whole thing, like my, I guess this
thing, meaning my life, where one of my mentors told me, hey, don't loan money out to people.
Like, maybe help support them, whatever.
But if you need to just pay for something, do it, don't loan the money out because it's too
hard on a relationship.
And it also restricts how much you're going to be giving somebody.
And so I don't loan money.
Like you said, if somebody called me and asked for $3,000, I'd say, that's crazy, buddy.
Like, let's sit down and talk about this.
Let's figure out how, you know, we can get this going together.
but $3,000 over and over and over again is wild.
I don't want to take away from the fact that Anyaka was generous.
Her family was very generous.
I think they had good hearts in this.
And we should amplify that he was manipulating everybody.
They thought they were being kind in their generosity.
And he took advantage of it.
Yes.
Should it have happened over and over again?
No.
Goodness.
If Anyaika was here, I'd say, how in the world did you keep letting this happen?
And why in the world did you keep saying yes to it?
that's a very fair question that I think she's probably going to get asked over and over.
However, they were generous and she trusted him at this point,
but she soon finds out in the course of this relationship that he has a severe gambling addiction.
And still does not put the points together to go,
I've been giving him money and he has a severe gambling addiction.
And he goes to gamblers anonymous.
He gets the help that she asked him to get.
but she doesn't put it together
yet
that this money's probably going to gambling.
She's got to be putting it together.
She just still wants to be with them.
A gambler.
That's like a toxic disease.
Could it be?
Like doing drugs.
Like everyone has their vice.
Like I can totally see why a gambler would get addicted
and then they want to keep gambling
because then they want to be like,
now I can make the money back that I already lost.
So I get how it could be a cycle
and is a serious problem.
100%.
It's all.
also makes sense on why at some points he needs 3K and some points he needs
120k. It depends on how he feels about whatever games he's playing or betting on
and how he thinks he can make this money back. There's this show that just came out,
a movie that just came out on Netflix with Colin Farrell about this thing specifically
is he is addicted to the next win, to the bigger win, to the bigger win, to the bigger win.
And the thing with gamblers is even when you win, you don't stop.
And that's why casinos make money.
So do you think he's going to go to jail?
I don't know how he could.
What do you do illegally?
Not giving the IRS anything.
Owing them so much.
What time out?
Did he ever need, like, did the IRS actually ever want need his money?
That was fake.
Oh, that was fake?
Yeah.
He said it was frozen that his assets were frozen, that he couldn't get anything out.
And so that was a way for him to get more money.
I'm being fooled.
Right.
It was a way of him.
him getting more money for gambling.
You don't go to jail for lying.
You don't get to go to jail for lying.
I'm saying like, I don't know, Anyika and her family,
did they ever have anything in writing, even on a piece of paper,
saying that he was going to pay us back?
Probably not.
This money, unfortunately, as bad as this is,
I'm not saying he shouldn't go to jail, like,
or that he should, you know, that, goodness,
this guy should not be walking free.
I'm just saying that I don't think he actually,
did anything illegal?
I think he did, but we don't know what it is.
I'm sure he did.
Let's say at some point in his life he has.
But based on the information from this story,
can any of us actually say that he did anything illegal?
As much as that hurts to say.
I feel like he did.
Like, I think there's something in here that makes sense.
I mean, conning people for years and years.
But she did say that he passed like the background check.
So that kind of, like, gave her some reassurance that, like, things were moving along,
especially, like, getting a marriage license.
Yeah, the background check did show that he never participated in Olympics.
So that is another moment where she's like, oh, he's lying to me.
But did he, how did she not Google him and see my husband didn't participate in the Olympics?
And he's just, I definitely.
Well, he had a fake heritage page on the internet, if that is true.
fake family heritage page.
So he was so committed to the lie.
No way.
Apparently he also was doing like a lot of fake screenshots saying like, look, I set my money.
I set the money back to your parents.
And that's when she started to really put it together.
She was on a bachelorette trip.
And that's when he was supposed to have gotten the good news from the IRS that his business account was not frozen.
It actually has 300,000 in it.
So he's going to wire 10K to her mom, I think, for the wedding drive.
to put down the deposit on the dress
and the money still hasn't hit her account after a few days
and this is when she confronts him
and she's like so what has all this been a lie
and that's when she realized that he's been sending the fake screenshots
to make it look like he was sending money
what a jerk

There are thousands of angry, horny monkeys.

He was the head of this gang, and nobody was going to tell him what to do.
You're going to push that line for the cause.
Took us under his wing and showed us the game, as they call it.
When Larry is murdered, Gabe is forced to confront the past he tried to leave behind

Hi, it's Jenny Garth, host of the I Choose Me podcast. This week, I'm so excited to welcome my friend, Gabrielle Carteris, the Andrea Zuckerman, from Beverly Hills 902 to the pod. We're choosing to get real.
I lied to the networks about my age and contracts. They never would have hired me if they had known my age.
We're choosing to be honest.
She looked at me and she said, this business is about a fucking ass, which you have neither of.
And we're choosing to get nostalgic.

And we have a very special guest on this week's episode.
He's the mastermind behind some of your favorite movies like Hocus Pocus, Newsies, the descendants, and of course, high school musical.
Yes, it is the one and only a living legend director, Kenny, or Kenney.
We sit down with Kenny to talk about his incredible career and the legacy he's created with his choreography and films.

Well, this guy is pretty good at what he does, though, because another story came out in the midst of this, that there was a friend of his.
he had taken $200,000
from this person
and had not paid it back.
I don't know about you guys.
I never have claimed to be
the most talented human in the world.
I did work in sales for a period in my life.
I couldn't think of one person
that I could convince to give me
$1,000, let alone $200,000.
That is a crazy amount of money.
and then go off and do it again to Anyika and her family and her friends and do it, even though
definitely evil, not okay, but do it successfully over and over and over again.
Well, he was probably saying, like, I have this business.
Do you want to invest in it?
And he went to like a big wig.
It started that way.
Definitely did.
this you know tick talk has blown up and as we mentioned they do end up getting in this fight over the confrontation of hey the money's not coming through what's going on and he says i'm over and i'm tired of all the questions this is done the divorce starts but at that point he's already gotten what he wanted right he got the money and onyika goes through the divorce process and as zachary mentioned she does the danish deception
on TikTok, following the divorce's finalization, it's blown up.
I actually think it should be more blown up than it is.
I think this is one of the wilder stories that we've heard in a long time,
especially coming out of Bachelor Nation.
I know.
Like, we need to talk about the fact that she was on The Bachelor.
Like, this is amazing.
For people that don't remember, like, she was on Colton's season,
and she had a lot of drama on the season.
Like, she was vibrant and fun.
Please remind us what that drama was.
I remember there was drama around here,
but I don't remember what it specifically was.
Everyone's been watching these YouTube clips from like nine years ago.
But basically, like, Elise, this girl on the show went home.
And Elise basically told on Yeka that there was a conversation
that Nicole wasn't on the show for the right reasons
and wanted opportunities to get out of Miami.
And then Elise got sent home at the roast ceremony.
So then Onyaka took it upon herself to tell Colton what Elise said,
like at the next group date and then that kind of got confronted in the group
Nicole started crying and they were going back and forth like neither one of them
would shut up for like two days that Colton just sent both of them home
my gosh I remember and they were both annoying about it Ben knows Elise that's where he got his dog
from yeah yeah and then she went to Bachelor in Paradise and she kind of was nosy in that too
that was the season with like Blake and Hannah G so like Kalin so she was kind of like
in her little nose and everything but you know she was harmless she was
She didn't find love.
She actually sent herself home at a rose ceremony and just said, I don't see anyone here
for me.
I'm going to go.
And then she also was on coming out Colton, Colton's, you know, coming out Netflix doc series.
And that's when Colton told her that the reason she really was sent home is because she
was too smart in figuring out that he was secretly gay.
And that's why she went home when she did.
Did she really figure that out?
She was like getting skeptical or Colton was insecure that she was.
that she would be the first one to kind of figure it out.
Because obviously he was hiding himself.
So she even got flack for that too,
because a lot of the girls were like mad at Colton
for everything that happened with Cassie.
But, you know, she was the only one to agree to film coming out Colton
because maybe other people were asked.
Well, hold up.
Yes, she could have just been like a stand-in kind of
to represent all the girls in that docu-series.
But if what he's saying is legit,
she has apparently pretty good intuition.
Exactly. And she has the background in homes, right? Like she does background checks or finance stuff. So she really, you know, I'm sure she feels like an idiot. And all she can do now is tell her story. I'm sure she's going to make money from this. And hopefully, you know, there's love coming for her in the future. I know, I know she's mentioned that the feedback has been tough because there's been this victim-shaming kind of mentality coming through. I don't look at it. I mean, I think she's
still the victim here. I'm not seeing this as any, like, she got to tell her story. Her story
is one that's captivating. But I do think it's fair that her story brings up questions of how
does this happen, which I think she probably expected to get. Not the part of him stealing all
this money is sad and shocking. But I think for me, the most interesting part is how.
How? Like, how does it happen over and over and over again? And I don't want that to come off as a victim shaming. I'm not saying that she's wrong in this by any means. I'm just saying how. Like, how does it happen for so long that you don't see it? Right. And that's why everyone's mad at her. Like, the reason she's getting flack is because everyone's like, you're an idiot. Wake up. Hello. Like, you're too old and educated to be ignoring these blatant red flag. So I think that's why a lot of the criticism is coming. There's been.
a lot of TikTokers making videos
recapping her story. Like, I feel like
I've seen it a lot on my algorithm the last
couple of weeks and I'm still invested in it
and dying to see what happens next.
I have my notifications on.
So I really hope that she gets picked up
by like a docu series
and we can really see like the whole movie.
And I really hope we get to hear from the guy
soon. I don't know if we ever will. But I
am interested, you know, where his
whereabouts are and what he's going to do next
because this is the first time that his life
has maybe been blown up. He's obviously been
conning people for a decade but this is the first time someone's really calling him out for it
so i don't know how that will affect his life he's an idiot in because he never saw that hey i'm
dating a girl with a following uh this could backfire like this could this could this could
backfire i no longer get to do this in the secrets and the hidden places yeah you know the world
may know he had everyone he had on yaka block her his ex-girlfriend like all these people from
Denmark. She blocked all these people on Instagram because he made her do it in the beginning of
their relationship. So he was like really ahead of making sure that she had no communication with
anyone that knew his past. And let's just also point out that just this month, because we said
that he was doing the scams, it was actually with a hooker. He was spotted with a hooker taking out
cash at ATM. He can only go down from here. I mean, I would imagine in the connected world,
that we're in today, it will be very hard for him,
especially if somebody picks this up,
to navigate in the world.
We don't know where the Tinder swindler is these days.
I mean, I guess I could probably find out.
I haven't like investigated it,
but I'm assuming that it's harder and harder
for con artists like this to navigate in the world
and to find people to take advantage of in this way.
Once, you know, social media like this, you know, gets picked up,
She also mentions, and I do think this is a fair point, that some of the shame that she's been feeling from the responses on her show.
This is why people stay quiet.
Yeah, I don't, at least from this conversation, like none of us here are saying that Anyaka was in the wrong.
And we're saying her story is so captivating that it brings up questions that are obvious.
and we want answered.
Not as much as the specifics and the details of their timeline,
but the inner dialogues that are going on
is what's interesting to me
of how easily we can be convinced to do something.
Anyaka, we're on your team here.
We just got some questions that we want to ask you at some point.
For sure.
And I think the story is going to continue to unravel.
She's still posting on TikTok about it.
I think it was a 26 or 28 part series,
and then she just stopped counting
and just started talking about other things.
But, you know, she's gotten a lot of support too,
and I think she'll grow from this,
and, you know, she'll make the money back
with this new found clout.
I hope so.
I'm going to throw something else back out there.
Do we think that maybe she was catching on
and then thought, well, I'm already married to this jackass.
Maybe I should just continue it for,
the lore
Maybe she can be a con artist with him
They could be a teen
I'm doing it for the plot
There's no shot
The one
You have to
You have to predict
That this story could be captivating enough
To capture the attention
Of somebody that would pay you to do it
I mean she probably watched the Risa Tisa thing
That woman got
She has like her own
Plenty of things going on now
And she had like the most normal job beforehand
And then she just happened to be a perfect personality.
And then two years later, you know, she's involved in media.
I'm just spitfiring.
I know.
It would be a wild, a wild thought.
I mean, I think cool things are happening in my life.
To think I could turn them into a television show never comes to mind.
And so maybe I just don't see that.
But this is a big story.
And maybe she did at some point say, I see this.
And I'm going to wait.
It was obviously strategic that she waited until the divorce was finalized to post these videos.
Now, I do believe she will capitalize.
And for the $300,000 that are gone, I hope she gets paid at least that from this experience
and is able to disperse those funds to all of those people in her family and close network.
That also was victims of the Danish deception.
And I just
I just want to finish by saying
I'm just having fun
I'm sure she didn't do this on purpose
okay
it's just maybe she let it linger
a little longer
there are so many questions Ashley
that come up
from this
this is not clear cut
this is not one of those stories
but I remember
watching the Tinder Swindler
and saying the same thing
how in the world do you let this happen
like how do you not see it and con artists and the manipulators are really good at blinding people to the game that they're playing and then at some point that game ends and at some point every time they get caught or the the manipulator gets tired so many lies bouncing around in this world and so many things happening in this world how in the world do you keep track of it all yeah and the light comes to the surface
And now we're getting the story from Anyaka.
Bachelor Nation, wild stories coming out of this little family.
We'll hopefully get Anyaka on.
We did request some time with her.
She is working on a few things and unable to join us at this moment.
But we will continue to follow up with her to try to get her on the show to ask her some of the questions that we just want to ask to help understand and to teach all of us how we and you listen.

I am freaking out about it
I watch all the housewives I literally love Bravo
That doesn't surprise me
I was at BravoCon this year

like a lot of Bachelor fans
I do think that you might get eaten alive

So I'm excited to see you cry again on TV.
It's been a minute.
Thanks.
Thank you so much.
