Hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That seems inappropriate.
Maybe find out how it ends by listening to the OK Storytime podcast and the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

This is the Ben and Ashley I, Almost Famous Podcast with IHartRadio.
It's an almost famous podcast.
We are here today because we have such a fun episode to do.
And I have to start, Ashley, with you introducing our guests and also telling me about this I do part two because it sounds
amazing and I followed along on social media because it's obviously on our threads but before we
even get started with Kelly do you mind giving me a little background of what this is so I do part
two is yes on our feed and it has a number of different hosts Janet Kramer Kelly you are one of
the new hosts right I am yes celebrity mentor yes so much fun celebrity mentor so basically reality
stars, um, journalists. They come on I do part two. And we have Kelly Bensonman from the
Housewives franchise. She is here with us because she's been doing a lot on I do part two. And she,
she just played with our bachelor family, the golden bachelors. She was, did a dating game to see
if she was compatible with any of these men. I did my toes into the bachelor world. It's one. And you
ran out fast. You said, this is not. This is not for me. Well, Ben, so first we had this
relief. It was Valentine's Day. And so we had this great idea to have a date, the dating
game, to recreate their dating game. And so it was, you know, me, you know, basically talking
about, like, meeting all these different guys and having them, I didn't know, I couldn't see them.
And so we were talking about, you know, these fun, you know, these fun questions and they see here,
their answers about like, you know, what they would cook me, cook for me, the first date,
like all these, all these really cute questions. And the guys were really, really fun and really
good sports. And so I was going to pick Gary. And then I was, I picked guy because he was just
very, like, organized with all of his thoughts and all of his responses. And, you know,
I wear many hats. And so I was like, I need.
a guy that's like organized um okay started texting me oh oh so and i know like right after like hey
text text text on all this stuff and then he was like really excited to see you so we're going to
bring him out to um walk the carpet that was going to be our date our first date was going to be to walk
the carpet for i heart radio music awards and he starts texting me and then starts like these
telenovelas i was like i was like dude like this is like you know
how about like how's your day i saw a really pretty post of you um what's your favorite candy
i don't know like just you know random flirty questions um and he starts tending me all these texts
and then like three days before we go he's like oh by the way i'm dating this girl this is her
name and it was like literally like like text vomit it was like this is who i'm doing at dating i'm like
I was like, did I miss something? That was my response. Kelly, Kelly, Kelly. Wait, we are like overwhelmed. I'm so was I. I was like. He's texting you telenovelas about what? How much he's infatuated with you about himself.
What he's wearing? What he's doing? How much you can't wait to meet me? How much all this stuff? And I was like, oh, you know, and I'm like reading it. You know, we all get a lot of texts and we all have like a lot of media going on with it's DMs, texts, emails, a lot of different, you know, all we're wearing these different hats. And so.
You know, I mean, typically people are more respectful.
They're like, can't wait to meet you.
See you then.
Let's talk tomorrow.
Let's, you know, chat.
I'm sending me a lot of texts, which is fine because I'm a texter as well.
But I'm not like a long novella text.
I'm like, that sounds good.
Yeah, me neither.
Okay.
Cute, fun.
Yay.
We got to make sense of this.
Yeah.
Keep going here because we're here.
I'm going to timeline this real quick.
So it makes sense to our listeners.
Yes.
We've started this show talking about I do part two, which is our,
on the almost famous feeds.
If you haven't listened to it, you got to go out and listen to it.
And if you need some context as to why we call it, I do part two,
it's because it's all about second marriages, correct?
Second chances, second marriages.
Yeah.
There's so many different people on it who have had, you know,
divorces and issues and, you know,
they're looking for love in all the right places.
So then this show is great.
It's entertaining.
The hope is that you meet people,
that you're kind of dating through this audio, you know, platform.
You end up trying with The Bachelor guys.
You pick Guy from this list.
Yes.
Now, before we continue on with this guy's story,
was your hope, true hope, Kelly,
that you would meet somebody through this
that you would have a good time on a date with
and potentially date afterwards,
or is this just more of a ha-ha funny,
we did this thing
let's hang out once and never talk again
or were you kind of excited about this idea
I am because I had such a bad experience
with my last relationship
I have been going through therapy
and being on the podcast at the same time
so for me it's therapy and cathartic information interviews
so it's more than just like you know
being on a podcast and meeting people.
It's been a very real experience for me.
But we're also trying to have fun and just bring light to the dating universe.
And what's been great about being on this show is that not only have I met so many great people,
but I'm also learning so much about myself and what my boundaries are.
So when we said we're going to do the dating game, you never know Ben in life who you're going to meet.
you'd be walking in the supermarket and some guy picks up an orange and you're going to be like,
oh my God, there's my man.
You can be anywhere.
You don't know how you're going to meet someone or where you're going to meet someone,
but to just be open to it, I think, is like the start.
And so I can't answer the question.
Like, am I thinking that I'm going to meet the man of my dreams?
I don't know, but I'm open to it.
Who knows?
The pressure, you're not putting the pressure on you.
But that's part of my personality, too.
I'm just like very like, you know, easygoing and, you know, I'm just, you know, interested to meet different people.
And I just thought it was so fun to do the dating game and then take that person on a date on a red carpet for IHeartRadio's music war.
I mean, come on, that's like the ultimate date.
So what's your theory on what happened?
Was he dating this woman all along and he just wanted to like talk to a former housewife on on the radio?
actually i think he did i think that he yeah he was just like is this real i'm like i'm not sure
what you're what's unreal i mean this is real i'm talking to you you're talking to me
and he was like did you really like me i'm like well okay now you're asking me questions like this is
like now you're putting i'm putting you're putting me in a position as a doctor which i'm not like
i'm not a psychologist not there
My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious.

Now, he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone.
Now, hold up.
Isn't that against school policy?
That sounds totally inappropriate.
Well, according to this person, this is her boyfriend's former professor, and,
they're the same age.
And it's even more likely that they're cheating.
He insists there's nothing between them.
I mean, do you believe him?
Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him
because he now wants them both to meet.
So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not?
To hear the explosive finale, listen to the OK Storytime podcast on the IHeart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Hello, it's Daniel Fischel.
Writer Strong and Wilfredel from PodMeets World.
And we're bringing you Viva Las Content.
That's right.
We are back in Las Vegas, the city of sin, and giving the people what they want.
A full week of Y2K content.
Wait, we're back in Vegas?
Tell me, Y.
Well, for the Backstreet Boys residency at Sphere, of course.
We sat down with Kevin Richardson and A.J. McLean just minutes before they took the stage,
and our very own Wilfredel basically became the newest member of the band.
Boy band, please.
Plus, the man who has the longest running comedy show on the strip joins us and,
gets his props. It's carrot top, baby. And finally, we all L-O-V-E-Hur, Ashley Simpson-Ross,
joins us to talk about her upcoming sold-out Vegas residency. It's a full week of nostalgic
interviews you don't want to miss. Listen to PodMeets World on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,

holiday rush, parents hauling luggage, kids gripping their new Christmas toys. Then,
at 6.33 p.m., everything changed. There's been a bombing at the TWA terminal.
Apparently, the explosion actually impelled metal glass. The injured were being loaded into
ambulances, just a chaotic, chaotic scene. In its wake, a new kind of enemy emerged, and it was
here to stay.
Terrorism.
Law and order criminal justice system is back.
In season two, we're turning our focus to a threat that hides in plain sight.
That's harder to predict and even harder to stop.
Listen to the new season of Law and Order Criminal Justice System on the IHeart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Imagine that you're on an airplane.
and all of a sudden you hear this.
Attention passengers, the pilot is having an emergency,
and we need someone, anyone, to land this plane.
Think you could do it?
It turns out that nearly 50% of men think that they could land the plane
with the help of air traffic control.
And they're saying like, okay, pull this, do this, pull that, turn this.
It's just...
I can do my eyes close.
I'm Manny.
I'm Noah.
This is Devon.
And on our new show, no such thing.
we get to the bottom of questions like these.
Join us as we talk to the leading expert on overconfidence.
Those who lack expertise lack the expertise they need
to recognize that they lack expertise.
And then as we try the whole thing out for real.
Wait, what?
Oh, that's the run right.
I'm looking at this thing.
Listen to no such thing on the IHeart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hi, I'm Janica Lopez, and in the new season of the Overcomber podcast, I'm taking you on an exciting journey of self-reflection.
Am I ready to enter this new part of my life?
Like, am I ready to be in a relationship?
Am I ready to have kids and to really just devote myself and my time?
I wanted to be successful on my own, not just because of who my mom is.
Like, I felt like I needed to be better or work twice as hard as she did.
Join me for conversations about healing and growth.
Life is freaking hard.
And growth doesn't happen in comfort.
It happened in motion, even when you're hurting.
All from one of my favorite spaces, The Kitchen.
Honestly, these are going to come out so freaking amazing.
Be a part of my new chapter and listen to the new season of the Overcomfort Podcast
as part of the MyCultura podcast network on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast,
or wherever you get your podcast.
Okay, we have to like somehow make sense of this whole thing.
See, I am like literally, this isn't like podcast back and forth.
This is like real deal, real texts.
Yeah.
But then he's dating.
I think that he thinks it was all an act.
I think that I don't know what he was thinking.
Because especially if he was texting you long text, like that doesn't make any sense.
Why is he trying to invest in this if he really did have a lady?
Because if it was just for show, then he could just show up to the red carpet
and be like, hey, like, just wanted to let you know.
Like, I do have a girlfriend or somebody who I'm dating.
It's, it might be getting serious.
I just wanted to give you a heads up.
But, like, the fact that he's texting you on the side doesn't make any sense.
And now we really need to get him back on this podcast.
Or just, you know, you don't even have to be that transparent.
It's one date.
Like, I'm not asking.
Yeah.
Or, you know, I don't need a whole, like, this.
It was like, it was giving me, like, PTSD from Housewives where they're like, you don't know me.
You don't know my backstory.
I'm like, I don't know that this, who this guy is.
I don't know, like, you know, who he's dated or what his ex-wife was like.
We just met on a podcast on a fun dating game.
And all of a sudden, it went like from zero to 60.
And I feel badly for him because I think he's a genuinely nice person.
I just think that he's very interested in the whole vibe.
And then he's like, oh, I'm a movie star.
I'm on this TV show.
I'm like, that's great.
Yeah.
And congratulations.
I don't know.
we're just having a good time. So then Guy and I, Gary and I ended up going on the
red carpet, which was so much fun. And what an amazing guy this guy is. No, Gary. Keep telling
me. Guy. Gary. Gary. Gary. Gary. Gary is amazing. I mean, he's just elegant,
well-spoken, charming, kind, thoughtful. He was having the best.
time on the carpet you know the carpet can be super daunting you know it's like if you you know I mean
it's not like people are like the white carpet and it's like no no no there's thousands of people
taking photos people want interviews there's like major movie stars like behind you waiting for
their real you know their photos like it's a lot um and uh Gary was amazing he was like
literally like help me and he was like how you doing like is everything okay and just a really
really great guy really great okay yeah now we're talking about gary we've made for the audio
purpose we've made the switch from guy who texted texted texted texted and then finally said hey by
the way i'm in a relationship and it looks like from the looks of instagram this relationship has been
going on for a while so we don't know what's going on there it's not worth to really make
assumptions other than say very odd scenario uh and it only is probably answered by guy himself
So you end up going on this date with Gary
and Gary was fantastic.
The things you just said, Kelly,
we were really close friends.
And you were out there and you're like,
I'm looking to date somebody,
just not finding the right guys.
You know, I've tried this L.A. thing,
this New York thing and all these guys are out for something else
and it always ends up crashing and burning at some point.
The things you just said about Gary,
I would say as a friend of you is like,
Well, what are you doing?
You had a good time with a guy in a really awkward scenario that could have been really weird.
And you said all these nice things about him when it comes to his character and the way he engaged you and cared for you and the way he asked questions and you had fun with him.
So where does this go from here?
Because you had no expectations for I do Part 2.
Right.
But it sounds like maybe like there could be something.
He also lives in California.
he lives in Palm Springs and I live in New York.
So that's kind of been something as well.
I mean, listen, my kids are older and I can go and do whatever I want now.
Sure.
You know, I've already, like that whole part of my life is all locked and loaded and they're amazing, amazing girls.
So I'm open to, and I've said this many times, I'm open to moving anywhere, doing anything with my life.
I can.
You know, Gary and I got along really, really well.
I don't know, you know, I don't know what the next step is.
You know, we text and, you know, we became friendly, which is great.
And then Pascal, another guy on the Golden Bachelor,
lit in to my DM.
Guys, make Kelly the next Golden Bachelorette.
He slitted to your DM, so this had nothing to do with the podcast.
Nothing.
And did you watch the Golden Bachelorette?
No.
Oh, okay.
All strange men from the same cast.
I was just like, what's going on here?
I love this.
I know, it's funny.
So it's actually very entertaining.
So then Pascal is like, I'm French.
My ex-husband was French.
And he goes, I live in Chicago, and I'm from Illinois originally.
And so he was like, and I'm a hairdresser.
I was like, oh, wow, okay.
So we then, I met him.
on a podcast too.
And we'll see,
we'll see.
I'm just open.
I'm open right now.
I'm not trying to like,
like Ben,
to answer your question,
I'm not trying to be like,
I'm not like a zero in on somebody kind of person.
I'm like,
oh,
you know,
it's just like,
you know,
let's date before you get married,
you know,
tread the waters,
meet people,
like just to see what's happening.
I mean,
when you've been through such a bad experience,
like I'm a little gun shy.
I'm not going to lie.
Like, I've had two failed relationships.
So I'm kind of gun-shy, but I'm moving forward.
So at this point in your life, then, which one of those two, from what you know,
we'll take Guy out of it for now?
Which one of those two are least like your past relationships?
Gary's least like my past relationship.
That would be my second piece.
These would be the questions I would ask if we were, like, trying to figure out, like,
if this is good or not, I would say, okay, you've had two relationships that you don't.
necessarily look back on and be like, those are great. And so it'd be like, well, what guy is
least like them? And so Gary is that, I want you, because this is one of my favorite things when
people listen to our show and you're in a situation right now where you are actively dating
and you are open and you're just having fun with it all. And I think that's just beautiful and
great. So what are you like hoping for out of all this? Do you want to date now, you know, for the
rest of your life and have a lot of fun. Do you want to settle down? Are you hoping these different
dating avenues lead to like a forever love? Or is it just, is it a lot of fun for, you know,
for as long as they're, you know, you're dating? No, no, no. I'm looking for my forever person.
And I have been for since I got, I mean, I got divorced because I was looking for my forever
person. Like, I didn't get divorced because I wanted to be single. I got divorced because I was
like, I had two young girls. Like, that's a big.
risk to take. And, you know, I got divorced because I wanted a better life from my girls. And I've
always wanted a family from my family. That's what I always say. And that's the truth.
It's difficult out there, Ben. It's not easy. I mean, it's just not. You know, it's not saying
that guys aren't nice, but it's just like there's, there's just so many opportunity to meet
people. And, you know, I've met some really, really nice guys. And then like, I'll
I'll talk to them and text with them and meet with them and have a great time.
And then, you know, they just kind of fizzle off.
I mean, one guy I went to date with, he was like, well, I don't want to be on television with you.
And I was just like, I'm sorry, what?
Say that again?
Yeah.
Like, what does that mean?
What does that mean you don't want to be on television?
First of all, I wouldn't do that unless the other person wanted to do that.
And second of all, we're not even in a relationship where you should even say something like that.
How would you like that, Benven, actually, if like you're dating and someone was like, yeah, really, really like you seem so great.
But I just don't want to be in your podcast.
Yeah.
I think I've heard something like that before.
Yeah.
My wife is very behind the scenes, very much not desiring the spotlight.
But if I was like, hey, honey, it would mean a lot if you go to this red carpet with me, it's going to be on TV.
She'd be like, yeah, that's fine.
whatever. I mean, I'm not like, yeah, I'm not doing it for the fame, but I'm definitely doing it
because you want me there. And who knows who else could be there that that we could see and
she'd have fun with that. I love that.
My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly and now I'm seriously suspicious.
Oh, wait a minute, Sam. Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.
Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast. So we'll find out soon.

people you know you're actually listening to people's mistakes
and that's what I talk about all the time you know you know there's a lot of people on
podcasts and want to talk about how great they are and all I do from myself because I want to
use this as a vehicle to learn is talk about mistakes like I made this mistake and I
don't want to do it again so here's the tool my tool about to not do that and here's
my friend that we're talking through it so that I won't do that again and just
just to have a different narrative from a woman in her 50s who is really looking for that
next chapter, a real chapter, a real life. And, you know, I am, I am very open to being in that,
being, you know, being in that arena of looking because I've put in the work. It's not like I'm
like, oh my God, look at me. I'm on ID Part 2, having the best time ever.
with my friend Cheryl Burke and Jana and you know all these different people like I have actually
really done the work and I think that a lot of the listeners are really enjoying just hearing the
authenticity from me and hearing you know it's like there's been a lot of bullshit and you know I'm
open to talking about that too not to exploit someone but just to be like maybe someone's going to be
like oh my god i'm never going to do that maybe learning from someone else's mistake well the podcast is
bringing you to live in the vineyard in uh very soon one of the best events of the year
are you guys going to be there no i don't think so i got a baby there's a man yeah both of us so
um there's a man named pascal who's actually also going to be there do you have plans on
meeting so pascal was the one that is french
who slid into my DMs
and he was
telling me all about
like what kind of date he would want to take me on
and apparently there's a Bachelor group chat
a Golden Bachelor group chat
where they were all like, why didn't I get to go out
with Kelly Pinsombe. I'm like, what?
Yeah, there you go, girl.
Get it.
I'm like, what's going on?
So yeah, I'm really excited.
We're going to have a lot of fun.
And again, like, I'm just open to meeting people.
I am.
I'm just genuinely really open to it.
I bet these dudes are freaking out.
Like, you come off the show and you always have the one dude from the show that's
date some like celebrity or well-known person.
It always happens.
There's some room where they went on a date together.
I can't imagine being on the Golden Show and being like, oh my gosh.
Like three of us got to talk to her.
She is our like, she is our dream girl.
And now, like, we're going on a day.
I bet some of them are freaking out.
And it feels like they're living in a fever dream of excitement.
This is awesome for them and for you.
They're probably like my ex-wife, my late wife used to watch her on the New York Housewives.
Now it's no big deal.
Like, we're just DMing.
Yeah.
That's so good.
I really appreciate that.
Thank you for the compliment.
You should feel it.
You should.
I really appreciate that.
But that's not what I'm, you know, I, I, I appreciate.
the enthusiasm, but I'm looking for
a real person, too. Yeah.
Well, I get that. And that's good. Well, Pascal's a real person, and you're
going to meet him. And we're excited to be here about this
saga next, especially since he is such a character.
And like you said, like you do have those commonalities.
He's the French guy who definitely wants to, he's
looking for, I feel like a girl like you.
Kelly, after all this experience you've had with Bachelor Nation now,
who's more dramatic? Bachelor or Housewives?
oh my god bachelor's so much more dramatic stuff so much more i'm like there's so much energy
i mean the housewives are like you know they just want they all they want to do is camera time
but these guys don't want camera time they're like trying to make friends and they're talking
about i mean there's a whole other show in these bedrooms of these guys talking and i'm sure
with you actually with all your all your friends like i'm like wait a minute the behind the scenes of
bachelor nation is like wild and so
So fun. You know, one thing, too, is I have to say is that I have met so many nice, genuine people from Bachelor Nation. Like, I just really have enjoyed meeting all of you guys and, like, spending time with you and, like, learning from you. And it's been great. I mean, I really, really love it. I mean, Housewives are fire. They were literally, like, claw your eyes out. Yeah. I don't think Ben would claw anyone's eyes out.
No. It doesn't necessarily match something I'm into, but you never know. Things are changing
in my life. I will say live of the vineyard is one of the coolest events of the year. It's romantic.
It's beautiful. It's intimate. The music coming out of there and through there is something that is still
memorable to me to this day. So it is a great place to go on a date. I'm glad you're going on this
date. I think it's fun. I also just am glad. You said it earlier.
Before we close out here, I want to tell you, I think it's a really special thing for you to be going through therapy and also speaking on a show about the thing you're going through therapy for.
I know that people listening are going to benefit from it, relate with it, heal a little bit from it, probably cry with you a little bit.
And I just, for me, that's when, like, this podcast medium becomes its best when it's authentic, raw and real.
And so Kelly, from us at the almost famous podcast to the I do part two listeners,
thank you for being vulnerable and open about this experience.
And here's where I hope it leads, if nothing else, to some really great moments.
And I hope you maybe like have a little more pep in your step knowing that there is a bunch
of dudes on some text read somewhere being like, are you kidding me?
You're going to get to go on a date with her?
Like, that feels good.
Hey, Kelly.
I'm going to say, I have to admit, yes, it does feel good.
Yeah, it feels good to feel good. Yes. And I like to end with this because when we started this podcast seven and eight years ago, Ben and I were both single and they were always trying to like hook us up with celebrity crushes. And so now that you have an IHart podcast, well, who is your celebrity crush that you would love to be set up with? That's like maybe like a little realistic. So like don't say Brad Pitt. But like someone we could actually like really get. I mean,
You could get Brad, but, you know, he's dating someone, and you know what I mean.
I think, I appreciate that, but I think he's kind of busy.
So Janet Kramer, she was like, oh, my God.
She's like, I'm going to teach you how to slide into some guy's DM.
She's like, let's go into Kevin Kossner's.
So I did.
And nothing ever came of it.
Oh, come on.
Cover of us weekly is like JLo and Kevin Kozner at Kimosabe and Aspen, trying hats on.
I like to ski.
Yeah.
Well, you know, Kelly, we have something we got to talk about offline now
because I hear things about Kevin Costner trying to find a new lady.
I'll just say that.
All righty.
Well, Kelly, thank you for joining us.
You guys are the best, Ashley.
Thank you.
Thank you for coming on.
