Starting point is 00:01:29 questions for the BAQA, whether you're trying to invest for your future, navigate a toxic workplace, I got you. Listen to Brown Ambition on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. I just normally do straight stand-up, but this is a bit different. What do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club? Answer, a new podcast called Wisecrack, where a comedian finds himself at the center of a chilling true crime story. Does anyone know what show they've come to see? It's a story. It's about the scariest night of my life.
Starting point is 00:02:02 This is Wisecrack, available now. Listen to Wisecrack on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. This is the Ben and Ashley I, almost famous podcast with IHeart Radio. It's an almost famous podcast. We are here. Breaking Down Bachelor Nations headlines from the last week. There's a bunch of those. Ashley, I want to start with my own personal headline.
Starting point is 00:02:30 This last week I went to, this is one of my proudest moments. Okay. What up? This, and you'll know why, because we've done a lot of red carpets together. We've done a lot of events together. I never know what to wear. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:42 How cool is that? What, what, um, what publication said this? Life and style doesn't matter. They still can, they said, they said something like simple, sometimes the best way to go. And I was like, that's my life motto. Like, that's exactly, like, Jessica should have had that in her vows. Like, simple is the best way to go. We were, I'm not kidding you, my wife and I, the night before I left, had this massive
Starting point is 00:03:06 conversation about what should I wear. And so we were looking through pictures on the red carpet. We're trying to figure out what people are wearing. People are wearing stuff that I don't own, stuff that, like, they look, you know, these celebrities look so good in all of it. So I went upstairs and I pulled out a suit in a white shirt and I was like, I'm just going to look like the businessman. I can't do that.
Starting point is 00:03:25 So, like, I'm either going to go just, like, t-shirt and jeans and say, like, deal with me. But I ended up going black on black on black. And this was intentional. And I walked down the red carpet and goodness gracious, you did it. The next day I woke up to a headline that said best dress. And I was like, I am thriving. We're talking. You were amongst the likes of Justin Timberlake.
Starting point is 00:03:48 Justin Timberlake and Beyonce. Well, you were best male dressed. Were you not or were you overall? Okay. There is multiple best male dresses. There was also some people that didn't get the good headlines. So, yes, I felt so good. That is incredible.
Starting point is 00:04:05 Well, congratulations, Ben. That is big news. And I have to agree. You can't go wrong with what you wore. You really can't. It was great. It's timeless and classic. I'm very proud of myself.
Starting point is 00:04:15 You're never going to look back at that picture and be like, you know, what was I wearing? Or that was just, or they named me best dress because, like, I was being trendy. No, you're being class. Okay. Classy. Classy and classic. Okay. First headline, Bachelor Joey discusses his dad, Nick's, sexuality, and wing mains him. This is slide him. He says, slide in my DMs for my dad. This is according to Bachelination. Do you remember him talking about his dad being gay on charity season? Because apparently it was brought up briefly. I don't remember it. But when we were watching their, his home, his family on the finale,
Starting point is 00:04:53 I was wondering, I was like, there's parents still married? They never brought it up. I think I noticed that the dad wasn't wearing a wedding ring. I think the dad's not wearing. I don't think, yeah, the dad's obviously not married. It's just sliding into my DMs from my dad. So, yeah, his dad is gay.
Starting point is 00:05:09 Think it was talked about publicly once before this. I kind of wish they would have brought it up on the show just because it's like kind of interesting, but it's also like, obviously not really. Does it need to be brought up? but he does on he he did this week and he said i love talking about this because my dad is such a special person i love putting light on this my parents got divorced when i was in first grade and around that time my little sister who was a year or two younger than me she knew right away that my dad had a boyfriend
Starting point is 00:05:42 and everything and i thought it was a roommate it took me a while to figure it out actually i was in i want to say middle school when I figured it out. He said as far as like it having an impact on his life, he goes, it's just an understanding that he lived his true self. And I appreciate so much that my dad did that. I just think he's a really special person. And I'm so happy that I learned about that. And I started to understand what love is like and have him show that side of himself and he's able to live in his true light now. It definitely made me a more understanding person. I love that man. And then he just said that his parents have so much love for each other. They're at each other's houses all the time.
Starting point is 00:06:24 That's really, really sweet. And then he said that his dad is currently single. And if there's anybody out there, slide into his DMs for his dad. And he's got you. It wasn't a big storyline. I'm assuming it was because Joey didn't want to make it a big storyline. Yeah, like it doesn't have to be a storyline. I just was like curious as to like what the relationship was between his parents.
Starting point is 00:06:43 And then to find this out a couple days after the finale, it was like, oh, wow, I forgot about that. Yeah, now it makes more sense. Kelsey A was traumatized by suggestion her dad goes on the golden bachelor, but she says he's open to it. Okay. So when it was first brought to her like attention that this is something that people wanted, she said my initial response was that I was traumatized, that there were trap videos, you know, like thirst trap videos of my dad out there. But then I decided to take a step back and I was like, you know what? my dad deserves all this love and praise he's an amazing dad and he was an amazing husband to my mom i think my dad deserves all the love i think that my dad sees how great joey and i are together and has talked to me about how joey and i would have never met if it wasn't for this show so he's open to it my mom always told him that she wanted him to find love if she ever
Starting point is 00:07:40 passed away before him and that she wanted him to be happy and have that part partnership after her. So I think it would be a great push for him to be open to that and see if he could also find true love on TV. And Joey also says that he thinks that he would crush it if he were to go on the Golden Bachelor. He says that there's like this incredible presence to him, which I would agree via TV. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:08 Yeah. You think he's hot. This is a very handsome man. That is like an undeniably everybody, university. agree is handsome man and just has like a great warm fatherly presence yeah a daddy he's a daddy that is a daddy uh the you know what i mean i think too trying to put myself in kelsey's shoes it's probably really hard to even think about that like i don't know how much he's dated since her mom but obviously they had such a good relationship he was such a good husband an incredible father it's probably
Starting point is 00:08:44 weird for her to process that her dad is even in a position in life to go on the show. Like, it's got to be a little hard. It would be hard for so many to see their parents kind of date again. You know, you're so used to the other, the life with your, your mom or the life with their past partner. And so I'm guessing it's a little emotional, too. Yeah, I don't know. I don't think I could do it.
Starting point is 00:09:12 he wants him happy that's amazing and i'm sure she's like i know i she's like it could be hard to watch but like i'm really i want him to find love but you you know it would be daisy kent says she tried to force things with bachelor joey uh she says something was always missing this according to us yeah this week she said if if i'm being honest there was always something missing i always felt in ways i was trying to force it to be there because i felt like we were alike in a lot of ways, but also I just felt like there was something always missing. And I think that for a period of the show, I just kind of ignored it. And when it got to the ending, I was like, yeah, I'm right. There is something missing. And then she said from that
Starting point is 00:09:58 last rose ceremony, I remember him and Kelsey. And I could just tell that there was this energy between them. And she was, she was like, I don't think it's me. And I just remember thinking that. And I remember, like, I just broke down crying and they both hugged me. And I think I just kind of like blocked that out of my system. Meeting the family wasn't great. And then after I was like, okay, that went so good. But I didn't really get to talk to him. When you meet the family, you don't talk to talk to him much that day.
Starting point is 00:10:29 And then going into our next day, I was just filled with so much anxiety. And I didn't really feel the excitement that I had prior when I was about to go see him. And everything just started to physically hurt in my whole body. And I was just like, this doesn't feel right. Well, I'm glad it wasn't right. Yeah, me too. You know what? I'm glad you feel like this because that just makes everything easier to get over.
Starting point is 00:10:51 100%. I don't write songs. God write songs. I take dictation. I didn't even know you've been a pastor for over 10 years. I think culture is any space that you live in that develops you. On a recent episode of Culture raises us, podcast, I sat down with Warren Campbell, Grammy-winning producer, pastor, and music executive
Starting point is 00:11:14 to talk about the beats, the business, and the legacy behind some of the biggest names in gospel, R&B, and hip-hop. This is like watching Michael Jackson talk about Thurley before it happened. Was there a particular moment where you realize just how instrumental music culture was to shaping all of our global ecosystem? I was eight years old, and the Motown 25 special came on. and all the great Motown artists, Marvin, Stevie Wonder, Temptations, Diana Raw. From Mary Mary to Jennifer Hudson, we get into the soul of the music and the purpose that drives it.
Starting point is 00:11:48 Listen to Culture raises us on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, I'm Kurt Brown-Oller. And I am Scotty Landis, and we host Bananas, the Weird News Podcasts with wonderful guests like Whitney Cummings. And tackle the truly tough questions. Why is cool mom an insult, but mom is fine? No. I always say, Kurt, it's a fun dad. Fun dad and cool mom.
Starting point is 00:12:12 That's cool for me. We also dig into important life stuff. Like, why our last names would make the worst hyphen ever. My last name is Cummings. I have sympathy for nobody. Yeah, mine's brown-oller, but with an H, so it looks like brown holer. Okay, that's, okay, yours might be worse. We can never get married.
Starting point is 00:12:31 Yeah. Listen to this episode with Whitney Cummings and check out new episodes of bananas every Tuesday on the exactly right network listen to bananas on the iHeart radio app apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts imagine that you're on an airplane and all of a sudden you hear this attention passengers the pilot is having an emergency and we need someone anyone to land this plane think you could do it It turns out that nearly 50% of men think that they could land the plane with the help of air traffic control. And they're saying like, okay, pull this, until this.
Starting point is 00:13:10 Pull that. Turn this. It's just, I can do my eyes close. I'm Manny. I'm Noah. This is Devon. And on our new show, no such thing. We get to the bottom of questions like these. Join us as we talk to the leading expert on overconfidence.
Starting point is 00:13:24 Those who lack expertise lack the expertise they need to recognize that they lack expertise. and then as we try the whole thing out for real wait what oh that's the run right i'm looking at this thing listen to no such thing on the i heart radio app apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts hi my name is enya umanzor and i'm drew phillips and we run a podcast called emergency intercom if you're a crime junkie and you love crimes we're not the podcast for you but if you have unmedicated ADHD. Oh my God, perfect. And want to hear people with mental illness, psychobabble.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Yes, yes. Then Emergency Intercom is the podcast for you. Open your free IHeartRadio app. Search Emergency Intercom and listen now. Tyler Cameron launches only fans. This is the headline. Tyler Cameron launches only fans with Thirstrap. And it's not an April Fool's joke, people are saying.
Starting point is 00:14:30 covered this. Ashley, is this real? All right. Well, we banked a interview with Tyler last week. So I got to spend about 45 minutes with him and he, I think that he's just such an enjoyable
Starting point is 00:14:46 good guy. And you guys will be able to hear that interview later in April. But I only mention it because I do feel like there is something in that interview. that is at least worth bringing up here.
Starting point is 00:15:02 I was like, Tyler, what's your secret to long-term success? And he goes, taking my shirt off. And I just loved the honesty about it. And I feel like Tyler knows exactly what to do business-wise. And I think this OnlyFans is a little bit of a tease for his upcoming show, which is going home with Tyler Cameron. and it'll be on Amazon Prime
Starting point is 00:15:32 and I think that this is just kind of like one of those things to get the fans excited it dropped on April Fool's Day but then our friends over at
Starting point is 00:15:43 the The Chicks in the Office podcast they saw this OnlyFans tease because he says that like he shows himself on April Fool's Day with his shirt off and he says like
Starting point is 00:15:54 basically he's gonna drop his pants on OnlyFans he alludes to this and then they call him live on the air. Ben's like in astonishment. Um, and he didn't give them any more clear answers. He did kind of say it wasn't an April Fool's joke. His only fans right now is free. So you don't have to pay for a subscription. I think he probably, you're probably going to sign up for his
Starting point is 00:16:19 only fans. There's nothing on there right now. There's nothing on there right now. And then I think that he's just going to post a lot of promos for his new Amazon show. And his pants will somehow like fall off in the middle of him like doing some construction work by accident and I just feel like it is a big tease for that there's no way that he's going to go nude on only fans I don't think he would do that I don't he's not doing that guys he's not doing it would you be uh how would you view it Ashley if he did go nude on only fans I would say that like like okay Tyler Cameron if you are this is years decades of now somehow you didn't save the money you did not plan for your retirement well people are still
Starting point is 00:17:06 interested in seeing you nude go for it make all your money you know draya de matteo just did that she used to be on sopranos and now like her only fans is helping support her through life um i paid off her mortgage in like a week she said i don't even know what she's doing on there um what would I do if Tyler Cameron today just decided to like go naked on only fans it's it you know Ben
Starting point is 00:17:36 would I'm trying to think about this because this is what I told do you want to like get weird for a second? Yeah. Okay so Jared and I were like
Starting point is 00:17:53 one time we were talking about I think it all started because, like, one of the porn companies came to Jane and Tanner for them to do a celebrity, like, sex tape. And then we started talking about how much you would need to make from a sex tape to put it out there. And I was like, well, in the realm of marriage, how much would I need to make in order to put the sex tape out there with Jared and I. Do you, you would, and I, and I said that the number one thing is I'd only, I'd have to, we have to get approval from both parents.
Starting point is 00:18:35 Like, we'd have to be like an okay family decision. This is it has to be like a financial family decision. And I don't know the number that I came up with is enough now. I don't think it is. So I don't even know why I want to put it out there. But like, I want to know now for me. What was the number? the number was I'd have to after taxes make 10 million from it
Starting point is 00:18:59 but I don't I think I'd have to do higher now because then you would just like this is what my thought was you retire you have money for the rest of your life to live comfortably and um you know you're set and you had approval from your parents and like whatever but now i would think maybe i'm a parent now so it's a little different what did jared say jared we were i think we were on board with a 10 million where it was not each but like together no emails are going to get so weird in the next like two weeks stop i can't believe i'm saying this i feel like could i have jared come here please no you're doing this alone no please yeah we're
Starting point is 00:19:48 you're my co-host okay so ben i guess you wouldn't do it for $10 million. Me personally? Yeah, with approval from your parents and justice parents. There's no, there's no number. There's no number? No number. Okay, well, I need to tell you, I really do think that $10 million doesn't cut it anymore, okay?
Starting point is 00:20:09 It doesn't. Especially not with inflation. This was done in a different economy. Okay, but, but there's no number for you? No number. Not like, no. No? like it could be like totally wholesome it's wholesome and the in holy matrimony with the approval of your parents yeah so other people can watch and enjoy i don't know or or get grossed out by i don't know but they the i get one shot at this life and uh if like i'm 80 and the thing that's made me enough money to buy my house and i have to sit in that house every day is this like i just personally cannot
Starting point is 00:20:51 get behind that. Like, I can't think of, that's not who I am. It's not in it at all within the realm of possibility. I know. It's not really, it might be either. Tyler Cameron, it might be. I don't know. It's not for Tyler either. But what do you think, do you think, we can't even put a number to Tyler, what Tyler would want to make from it? I would have to call Tyler and be like, excuse me, what would you do? Obviously, he's going to do it for free. No, he's not doing it for free, Ben. You can subscribe to the only fans are free and then get zero videos as of right. as of right now. You're gonna
Starting point is 00:21:23 all you're gonna get is a trailer for the video and I can't believe how far gone this conversation has gone I'm gonna die because there's gonna be headlines on us weekly
Starting point is 00:21:34 saying like Ashley and Jared would do like save for 10 million dollars until this week 10 million dollars Ashley and Jared I'm going no why do I do this will perform for you I will never
Starting point is 00:21:47 okay you know what when you like actually make scare me like that now I go I would Never when you actually scare me by saying it's going to get headlines and then people will come to us. You can't back down now. You know, this game is one of my favorite games to play.
Starting point is 00:22:03 I've done it since I was in middle school. How much would it cost for you to streak across the neighborhood? How much would it cost for you to do X, Y, Z? Like, we always, there's always, you know, there's always this game that goes on. And Ashley just gave it. Ashley, you're, you're feeling real weird right now, aren't you? I'm feeling so weird. I need to stop.
Starting point is 00:22:25 I'm also just realizing the number is really low. And, like, my parents wouldn't see the tape, okay? They wouldn't see the tape. I don't know. I'm going to die now. I'm going to go crawl into a hall. Jared. I just made a huge mistake.
Starting point is 00:22:41 So he was talking about how Tyler Cameron is, like, he's, like, teasing this only fans. And he was, like, he was, like, talking about Tyler Cameron, like, actually just, like, showing off as, would he do it? And, like, I was just thinking about the, I was like, no, of course not. Maybe when, like, maybe if he didn't save properly in, like, decades from now, he just decides to, like, drop his pants and then he's able to, like, for the rest of his life, take care of himself. Okay.
Starting point is 00:23:08 He could have done it, you know? And then I just, because- He could do that without showing his, but sure, go. You think that he could- Doing what he's doing right now, 100%. Yeah, okay. Anyway, so then I go, years ago, um, I said that, that we came up with a number for a sex tape
Starting point is 00:23:25 based on Jane and Tanner being offered. Yeah. And we came up with 10 million. Yeah, I mean, it was a big number. With our parents' approval. And I'm really seriously embarrassed that I said this on the podcast. Because I'm like, would we ask?
Starting point is 00:23:41 Because I was giggling through it the entire time for them was like, I did just kind of admit that we would do that. And I don't think we would do that for, 10 million anymore. I don't know if we'd do it. I know. I know. But maybe. Okay. I just wanted to make sure that that was a fun conversation for you. I mean, how could you not consider the idea of doing it if you could really take care of you and your family for the rest of your life? That's what I was thinking. You know, especially for me, like, I don't know how long the tape has to be, but if it's like a seven, if it's seven minutes of my life. I know. And it doesn't like,
Starting point is 00:24:14 it could be undercovers or something. And we're taking, no, no, no, no. Oh, it can't be undercovers. We're not going to be like, oh, we don't show anything. I'm Of course, we'd have to show everything, but... Well, no close-ups. I don't think Kim Kardashian has, like, close-ups. No, it's all blurry. But if you could take care of... If you're taking care of for the rest of your life...
Starting point is 00:24:32 Okay, that's what I thought. Okay, well, now you make me feel not as bad. It's a course 30-second video in the history of Maynardown. He doesn't... He said absolutely not. He said there's not one number. Ben, I'll give you $250 million. He doesn't...
Starting point is 00:24:47 He's a Ben. He doesn't care about the money. God will forgive you Okay, I'm glad you're not embarrassed Already putting that out there I said 10 million with the taxes already taken out You know like 10 straight million dollars But I still think I said with inflation
Starting point is 00:25:03 We were going to need to go higher I don't write songs I don't write songs I take dictation I didn't even know you've been a pastor for over 10 years I think culture is any space that you live in that develops you. On a recent episode of Culture Raises Us podcast, I sat down with Warren Campbell,

Those who lack expertise lack the expertise they need to recognize that they lack expertise. then as we try the whole thing out for real. Wait, what? Oh, that's the run right. I'm looking at this thing. See?
Starting point is 00:28:22 Listen to no such thing on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Who is the most attractive Bachelor of all time? Scientific... Apparently, it's not you. Not me. I haven't even read this article to see if I am on it.
Starting point is 00:28:42 Scientific theory yields surprise answer. This according to the Daily Express. Okay. One, how in the world are we measuring attractive just now? I think that's wild because people are attracted to all shapes, sizes people. So I don't know
Starting point is 00:28:58 what their criteria or algorithm is to figure out who's attractive or not. I'm scrolling down here. Ashley, I don't know. Tell us who the most attractive bachelor is according to whatever scientific process. It's like a golden ratio thing, you make a jig. It's
Starting point is 00:29:14 Yeah, golden ratio face analyzation. It's like all about your facial proportions and like how symmetrical you are. Like I've never really believed in this theory very well because like if you Google it here, I will do that real quick. Just let me do it because it's fun. So when it comes to like celebrities with high symmetrical grades or whatnot, Bella Hadid is really high. But we know that she's had a lot of work done. Beyonce is really high. Amber Hurd is really high.
Starting point is 00:29:46 They're in the 90-something percent. They're like 92 percent, 91 percent. Ariana Grande is at 91 percent. We also know she's gotten a lot of work done. Yeah. So like they are stunning, but there's like going to be like a lot of gorgeous celebrities also who don't like rank high when you use this ratio. But now we'll make it bachelor. related this this you know analyzation came out and brad walmac was the most
Starting point is 00:30:19 beautiful according to the ratio at like 8.54 if annaisly stone is not number one i'm out i don't believe in it i don't i think that bratt i understand why brad like got high on this it makes sense like he's very like classically handsome but andy baldwin is second followed by byron I think he'd like the prince and then Juan Pablo so that rounds out your top four I don't think of Juan Pablo as being super symmetrical
Starting point is 00:30:51 Ben you rank in the top 10 you round out the top 10 26 or 7 let's go top top 30 there you go amazing you are also amongst Ari
Starting point is 00:31:09 Ben Flanick Andrew Friarstone Alex Michelle and Matt James in the top ten yeah I just don't believe this stuff do you want to know you want to know who scientifically would be the least attractive
Starting point is 00:31:25 don't look at your notes I'm not I'm down two two stories already but guess okay well I guess that's so mean no it's too mean
Starting point is 00:31:37 you just made me tell me my You just made me say, like, if you say for 10 million, you can say something mean. No, okay, actually, it's different. That's worse. It can be mean. I can be absolutely outrageous, but let's not be mean. Because this is absolutely not, this is crazy. This is not true.
Starting point is 00:31:56 The lowest scoring bachelor is Sean Lowe. So handsome. Very handsome. So just this thing doesn't work. But it's, I guess it's, It's a fun headline. It's a fun headline. I'm just glad I wasn't last. I would be so sad if I'm last right now. It's really hurt my feeling. Love is blinds. Gianina. Details empowering birth says baby Heath is Blake Hortzman's twin. Well, we have some bullet points to hear. First, congratulations, guys, on the birth of your beautiful son, Heath, Orion Hortzman. She says that he looks exactly like Blake. And they actually didn't. decide decide on the name until he came out they wanted to just kind of like get his vibe see what he looked like before putting a name to it but they didn't know that they love the name
Starting point is 00:32:50 heath and i do love the name heath and guess what guys screw you because that was on our list that was on our potential child list but we're not going to name another bachelor baby heath and guess and it probably wasn't our number one anyway but I do really like it. I think Heath Hortzman, so cute. Love it. All right.
Starting point is 00:33:16 So she had an empowering birth and good for her. She loved birth. She and I cannot relate. She loved pregnancy. So this is all we got from Giannina Hu Jia, who gave birth about a week ago now. She said that she just really enjoyed the act of giving birth. She said, you're conditioned to think this.
Starting point is 00:33:39 is like the scariest thing, but even during the hardest parts, I had the biggest smile on my face. I literally couldn't hide how happy it made me. She said she wasn't able to go through with a fully unmedicated birth due to how her body was reacting, but she was still able to have the delivery that she always wanted, and she was able to advocate for herself along the way. She said she took classes from their doula in preparation, and Blake really absorbed a lot of that. He knew how to calm me down. Let me be. Let me be made me feel so powerful exactly what I needed to be. I couldn't have asked for a better partner. And it was beautiful to witness. And then she also says, and I'm just very jealous, she said that she just, like, loved pregnancy
Starting point is 00:34:25 and that she felt just so beautiful and feminine and embraced soft femininity in womanhood throughout it all. She said she would do it over a hundred times. Amazing. I'm so happy for you. So happy for the two of them, though. That's awesome. Such a big deal. Another bachelor baby is born. Okay, final headline up today.
Starting point is 00:34:47 Is there trouble in paradise? The Golden Bachelor stars, Gary Turner and Teresa missed, haven't moved in together yet, this according to sources. It is quite interesting. It's a source close to TMZ and Us Weekly, and they're saying that Gary is. is living at his lake house still in Indiana. While Teresa is still staying in New Jersey,
Starting point is 00:35:14 they have no immediate plans to change their living arrangement. She is continuing to work as a senior compliance officer at a financial advisory office in New Jersey. And they are instead just navigating a long-distance relationship and visiting each other often. There you go. And it seems like their plans to live in Charleston, South Carolina, are indefinitely paused.
Starting point is 00:35:35 It feels weird to be. It feels weird to you? feels weird to me too guess what I didn't think you needed to get married but I didn't think you needed to get married that fast so
