My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious.
Wait a minute, Sam.
Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.
Well, Dakota, luckily, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon.
This person writes, my boyfriend's been hanging out with his young professor a lot.
He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her.
Now he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone.
Hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That seems inappropriate.
Maybe find out how it ends by listening to the OK Storytime podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Right now in a backlog will be identified in our lifetime.
On the new podcast, America's Crime Lab, every case has a story to tell, and the DNA holds the truth.
He never thought he was going to get caught, and I just looked at my computer screen.
I was just like, ah, gotcha.
This technology is already solving so many cases.

What would you do if one bad decision forced you to choose between a maximum security prison
or the most brutal boot camp designed to be hell on earth?
Unfortunately for Mark Lombardo, this was the choice he faced.
He said, you are a number, a New York State number, and we own you.

This is the Ben and Ashley I, almost famous podcast with IHeart Radio.
It's a beautiful morning in San Francisco.
We're here with Andrew Spencer.
Andrew, it's been a while since we will sit down, catch up, and talk about a year.
Last time was in Beverly Hills, you think?
Yes, it was.
life for you i think looks a little bit different in the last year right what i think when i saw you
uh you were well you're still out in l a living at the time um kind of doing like the group of guys
that came out to beverly hills i think it was you and justin rodney and i think Nate
um we're kind of all you know running together but at that point time some people had started
to find love yeah and speak of it uh obviously we got to give a little shout
out to Rodney. I just saw yesterday that he proposed. Man, just out of the blue. I scroll and
I see it. A little hurt. I didn't get the call beforehand, but it was just as cool seeing the
was that yesterday that you found out? Yeah. Oh, man, it was amazing. Obviously, he's like one of the
most people that are so deserving of love. I'm so happy he found it. You know, it's good.
If I remember right, when we were together, you were also dating somebody.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That was a while ago.
It feels like a while ago?
Yeah.
Both.
It was a while ago.
And it does feel like a while ago.
Yeah.
And that obviously no longer, that relationship no longer is active.
No, no longer active.
Just, you know what happens.
You're still trying to find someone.
So it's, yeah, you just keep moving on.
Well, okay, so catch me up then in the last year because I, like I said, at that event in Beverly Hills, it did feel like everybody's kind of doing their own thing.
Yeah.
There's relationships.
You're kind of still all in L.A.
But now there's so much different as we started this thing.
And I said for you.
I think a lot has changed within myself and also just my friends group.
You know, obviously everyone is looking for partners.
You know, I see like there's like a baby craze going on right now.
Everyone's getting engaged right now.
So it's like you've seen all these things coming happening.
And for me and like a couple of my friends right now, we're going opposite.
So we're, I don't know what.
Intentionally?
No, not intentionally.
I think, I think we're starting to realize that we're putting a little bit too much pressure on it.
And I feel like myself, like I've been like too much pressure on like trying to find my family and that my partner that it's not happening.
and I keep doing these like same failed relationships over and over so do you know like do you have a
reason why in your mind that these relationships aren't working do you feel like you man you know
no I don't I just actually I just got out of relationship like a week and a half ago I was seeing
someone else that was my first like local in town like this one was it public or was it public
no it wasn't I mean we did public stuff but not like no no I wasn't like yeah
So it was nice.
It was like, girl from Chicago.
Like, I never dated someone that was, like, down the block from me.
You know, it was nice.
And then that didn't work out.
And then I'm like, I'm like, look.
And I'm like, what am I doing wrong?
So it's still a week off.
So we're still trying to, like, figure out what it is and what we're looking for.
Are you a relationship type of guy?
Like, do you desire to be in a relationship or?
Yeah, I am.
I just feel like, you know, it's a scary thing.
It's a scary because I feel like I do self-sabotage in a way where I don't like being such a high and then like, and it ends because then I like I can't recover fast enough.
So I always try to like lessen the blow.
And I think that's probably my biggest problem was just like I was like, I act like I don't like care about certain things because I don't want to get too invested.
And then you're like, well, I want to get to a point where I know for sure like this is a person and then I could just fully give them a hundred.
And that's where I'm like, I feel like I'm messing up a little bit.
So you're obviously, I mean, you're somebody who has always been, I mean,
you've been told a thousand times.
You have an energy about you that's captivating and brings people in.
You have a joy about you that obviously is people want to be around.
Right.
And so like how, I guess when you, with what you just said, how do you hold back in relationships
then?
Because it does feel like you bring everything you've got to the moments that you're in.
so how do you hold back it's it's it's almost like uh you you're stuck playing this game
you know what i mean like of like push and pull and that's where i'm like i'm in the middle of
i'm just like playing this game because you know i feel like every other woman is playing the game
against me you know what i mean so you're like well they know the game you know you know what i mean
so they're like you don't give too much or you don't take to you know what i mean so
that's that's the situation i feel like i'm in and it's so exhausting because uh i know like myself and
a couple of my friends we just we want to give like all of us but at the same time like i don't know
if this era likes that you know what i mean it's like well he's too nice of a guy or he does too much for me
i'm like how is that a bad thing so at this point like you're just kind of like trying different
things and it's not very it's not it's not as natural as i want it to be and like that's what
kind of sucks.
It's like, you know, you want to be your full self,
but at the same time, you're afraid of like that being rejected.
Because if your full self gets rejected, then you're just like,
I don't know, what am I going next?
Oh, yeah.
I mean, you're so vulnerable when you get into that
and that pain that can come with it.
I mean, I think a very cheap question to you would be,
would you ever try to do the show again?
Because obviously dating in the real world isn't easy.
Yeah.
I mean, yeah, I would.
I mean, I don't have a problem with that at all.
I've been actually asked to be on so many other shows right now.
I can't say, but so, I mean, I'm not like, you know, opposed to it.
So we'll see.
You know, I think any way I could find.
Outside of The Bachelor World?
Yeah.
Does that excite you?
The opportunities outside of it, or would you prefer to stay within it?
I'd, you know, I'd prefer to stay in it.
But, you know, at the end of the day, like, if there's a different opportunity, a different way of doing it.
you know, it doesn't bother me at all.
Yeah.
My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious.
Well, wait a minute, Sam, maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.
Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon.
This person writes, my boyfriend has been hanging out with his young professor a lot.
He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her.
Now, he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone.
Now hold up, isn't that against school policy?
That sounds totally inappropriate.
Well, according to this person, this is her boyfriend's former professor and they're the same age.
It's even more likely that they're cheating.
He insists there's nothing between them.
I mean, do you believe him?
Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him because he now wants them both to meet.
So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not?

A foot washed up a shoe with some bones in it. They had no idea who it was.
Most everything was burned up pretty good from the fire that not a whole lot was salvageable.
These are the coldest of cold cases, but everything is about to change.
Every case that is a cold case that has DNA right now in a backlog will be identified in our
lifetime. A small lab in Texas is cracking the code on DNA, using new scientific
tools, they're finding clues in evidence so tiny, you might just miss it.
He never thought he was going to get caught. And I just looked at my computer screen. I was just
like, ah, gotcha. On America's Crime Lab, we'll learn about victims and survivors. And you'll meet
the team behind the scenes at Authrum, the Houston Lab that takes on the most hopeless cases to
finally solve the unsolvable. Listen to America's Crime Lab on the IHeart Radio app, Apple
podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts well obviously yesterday you know we're out here in
san francisco yesterday i spoke with gregg he had mentioned he hasn't started dating in the last
like seven six seven months he's kind of taking time off yeah um you also said at the beginning that
your your friendships have changed yeah is does that can you elaborate on that like does that mean
you've lost friendships here in the last year or you've just
gone different past like what is that oh i think you guys were so tight yeah well i wouldn't say
that i think everyone's starting to find their person and like you know you just want to be more
respectful to their time with their people and and um you know like like i said like greg said like he's
not dating anyone like the vibe of our group has completely shifted a little bit um you know it's
it's a lot more work based it's more about like doing stuff like that than it is how we were you know
trying to find a girl and trying to do this and it's completely like shifted so it's like uh
like everyone around us is just like it's i don't know it's it's it's a lot different than we were a year
ago um our mindsets compared to you know last year so is this something you enjoy or are you missing
a year no it's i think it's good for the group i think i think and it wasn't like we all sat down
and talked about like we should do this it's something that's like just
happen to all of us and you know it's been nice that we know we'll be able to be able to be on the
same page um and that's what you know it's easier to do things you know easier to make decisions
on what we're going to do because everyone's kind of on the same page yeah it it feels like that is a
really healthy natural progression yes um because you're how old now about turn 30 about turn 30
yeah so like when you hit 30 right the life looks different than it does at 25 yeah there's new
responsibilities and new and new fun things that you can participate in but like i don't see my
friends half as much as i did at 25 now that i'm 35 because families kids exactly but one together
still a blast same thing pick up like where you left off yeah well uh to kind of close out here i do
want to talk about um outside of romance because that's kind of what people love to hear but outside
of romance professionally for you i know last year we're getting ready to come up on college football season last
you did a lot with college football i got to see you on my television on saturday mornings
right um you're obviously a former uh college football player yourself you know what does that
look like this year and what maybe kind of dreams do you have right um for that career path
no man i um i absolutely love the game of football so um it's like it's like it's like a second
nature to me so um i thought like you know hey i'm really good at this and i get to be able to be
around it more. This is something I really want to do is what I dream of being able to do.
And being an athlete, you never got to play in all these big stadiums and, you know, for these
established, you know, universities. So being able to go to these different universities,
stadiums and all that, like that, that just brings me great joy. You know, I've worked with ESPN
multiple times, college game day specifically. You know, I've been on the show. I've talked,
talked football national championship like on a on a television screen in front of millions
um you know i've emceed jonas brothers concerts so like it's been uh you know it's been really
cool i've gotten my feet in the water and i kind of want to just keep going and doing it um you know
i also want to like try to put my little spin on it you know obviously there's so many people in
this field and i want to do the same thing um so yeah i mean i feel like i've i've gathered a lot of
connections within college football and ESPN.
So, you know, hopefully that, that gets me a little bit further.
Like, because that's, that's the only thing.
It's about who you know, not what you know.
You know, I didn't study to be a journalist in journalism and anything like that.
I just kind of fell into it.
And, you know, hopefully that keeps going.
What's your spin that you put on it?
See, I want to, I want to deal with a little bit.
bit more of the players. You know, I feel like I want to be able to relate to them and just have them
be more free. And, you know, I hate when athletes do interviews and they tell you the same old
shtick. You know what I mean? Like, who are you? Like, as an athlete, like, you know, be yourself here.
You know, I want to be able to promote you as you. Yeah. And with that, and also being able to see
the facilities, like what a day-to-day looks like for an athlete right before a game day. You know what I
mean just kind of that kind of stuff um i feel like there's not enough spotlight on some of the
players and you know um going into the NFL draft i think it's one of the coolest things to
kind of know who your team is about to pick and i feel like that's a quick YouTube church like
oh well i i saw him sit this is the kind of guy we're getting so like that's that's something
i would want to do like down the line i think that'd be really cool so if anybody's listening and
they have a connection or they're into that field andrew's just you're
excited, you're ready, and you've put in the work. I mean, it's not like you're just, you know,
I think sometimes people get off the show and they just kind of say, no, I'm going to go host this
or do this. You've put in the work. You've grinded now. Grinded, sent millions of DMs to college
universities and, hey, can we come out and you guys, can you host a sort of game? And, you know,
people might be embarrassed to do it, but I think it's, uh, you know, I think it's one of the things
that, like, I take pride in myself is just like being able to ask. You know what I mean? And
ask for help. And I think it's a huge way.
no i mean i think it's incredibly impressive right it's so much better than just sitting back and saying
i deserve this now you're putting in the work you're sitting a resume out there in a sense and
that's you know that's you know that's the athlete in all of us and you know um you know work is the
reason why you're going to get to where you want to be um so yeah i'm not afraid of that and
uh look forward to doing more yeah well i hope it works out i really do um i'll be excited
for you uh when i full pull up my social media or maybe
turn on the TV on Saturdays and I see you there.
Yeah, I mean, there's already, it's oversaturated for Bachelor guys.
I mean, I got on the float and I see Jesse and then I see Jordan.
I was like, oh, dang, I'm the third.
I'm the third guy trying to do the whole football to Bachelor to.
It's worked out for those two, though.
Yeah, they're great.
They're crushing it.
They're crushing it.
They're doing just fine.
So I think there's room for three.
Yeah, I hope.
I mean, shoot, I would take a little piece of the pie.
Oh, you deserve it, man.
Hey, we wish you the best. Thanks for coming out here.
We'll have a lot of fun today.
Just appreciate catching up.
Appreciate it, man.
Thanks for having me.
