A decade ago, I was on the trail of one of the country's most elusive serial killers,
but it wasn't until 2023 when he was finally caught.
The answers were there, hidden in plain sight.
So why did it take so long to catch him?
I'm Josh Zeman, and this is Monster,
hunting the Long Island serial killer,
the investigation into the most notorious killer in New York,
since the son of Sam, available now.

And now we're back making this new podcast
called Business History,
about the best ideas and people and businesses in history.
And some of the worst people, horrible ideas,
and destructive companies in the history of business.
First episode, How Southwest Airlines Use Cheap Seats and Free Whiskey
to fight its way into the airline is.
The most Texas story ever.

On the podcast health stuff, we are tackling all the health questions that keep you up at night.
I'm Dr. Priyankawali, a double board certified physician.
And I'm Hurricane Dabolu, a comedian and someone who once Googled,
Do I Have Scurvy at 3am?
And on our show, we're talking about health in a different way, like our episode where we look at diabetes.
In the United States, I mean, 50% of Americans are pre-diabetic.
How preventable is type 2?
extremely listen to health stuff on the iHeart radio app apple podcasts or wherever you get your
podcasts this is the ben and ashley i almost famous podcast with iheart radio it's almost
famous podcast Ashley and myself are here today we're back at it again breaking down all the
headlines happening in bachelor nation Ashley you have some news
that you probably should share with our listeners
So the reason that I was gone a lot over the summer was because I was filming the Real Housewives of Rhode Island.
I truly can't say much more than you can check out the trailer, which dropped at BravoCon yesterday, Sunday, November 16th.
It was very fun to get to see everybody's reactions and to read all the comments on Instagram.
like thank you all for being so supportive and saying the sweetest things about me being on there.
I appreciate that so much.
It was, it was an experience for sure.
I don't know when it's going to air.
I don't even know if I can give a timeline as to what the estimate air time is.
It was a lot different than The Bachelor.
I will say that.
Well, we can say that Real Housewives just picked up.
one new viewer.
I will be watching.
Same here because I also have never watched the franchise before.
It's going to be great.
And here's, I mean, you're being like a little tongue in cheek right now, but we're going
to be talking about the show here at the almost famous podcast once it's out and released
and things clear up.
This is going to be a home in a lot of ways for you to kind of dig into the show at whatever
capacity you can.
Yeah, whatever capacity that I can.
Oh, we'll make sure you can.
Yeah, we'll just have the PR rep, like on the, yeah, exactly.
No, just come over here and sit there and tell me what I can and cannot say.
It's a huge headline.
Ashley, I could not be more excited to watch you again.
I mean what I say.
You are made to keep me smiling in life.
And having you on my television just means I get a little bit more of Ashley in my world.
And that is always a gift.
Thanks, Ben.
You're the sweetest.
I did.
It is a very fun and exciting time to.
kind of go through the cycle again.
Yeah.
Especially with so many like nice people out there rooting for me.
So it seems a little less scary than I think it might for other people who are just like going out there and nobody knows their personality whatsoever.
So at least like I feel like you guys kind of understand who I am and hopefully that still stays reflected throughout the show.
We'll stay tuned and continue to give you updates when we do know an air day.
and when Ashley can continue to talk about it.
But the rumors were true.
If you were listening to the podcast,
you're like, hey, Ashley is out on a long vacation.
It's because she was doing some really important things
in the world that are going to benefit us all.
Not very important things.
I'll tell you that much.
We have some headlines for today outside of this big announcement.
Something really sweet happened this last weekend.
Katie Bigger and Zach Shellcross,
I think one of the sweetest couple
to come out of the franchise. They love each other so much. It's just wonderful to see.
They threw a Texas wedding celebration. This was five months after their ceremony. A lot of
Bachelor Nation was there. It looked like a great time. Ashley, give us the details.
Well, the festivities kicked off with a welcome party at Urban Pickleball Club in the morning.
That's cute. And then they had a celebration at Tiger Lily, which is a private event space and
Cocktail Lounge that started at 7, went late into the night.
They just wanted a gigantic party with all their friends and their family in one room.
They had a very intimate wedding with only immediate family.
So this was their time to celebrate with all the loved ones, some Bachelor Nation alum that was there is Joey and Kelsey, Charity Lawson, with Dotten.
And then Gabby, who just got engaged to her, to her boyfriend from the past like two or three years.
Kayla Quinn was there with her husband, Nate Mitchell, Susie Evans, and then Avin and Kylie,
Avin and Kylie.
And then Christy Carlson Romano from Even Steven.
So big celebration. It looked absolutely amazing. Congratulations again to the two of them,
not only on their wedding, but the ability to get a celebration together and have so many
amazing people come to support you. They are awesome.
Okay, friends, real talk. You are worth the wait. We've all been there, giving our energy to connections that didn't honor ours and watching friends do the same. And honestly, we all deserve better. That's why Bumble is built for intentional dating. Safety is such a big deal for us all, especially when meeting new people. And Bumble gives you the peace of mind with options like photo and ID verification. That little extra step means you
know the person you're talking to is who they say they are, with their real photos, and they
are ready to show up authentically. And once you feel safe, you can actually focus on what
matters, finding someone who gets you. With shared interests, it's easy to see right away who
vibes with your passions, whether that's true crime podcasts, yoga mornings, or weekend hikes.
So take a pause, affirm your worth, and protect your peace. Bumble helps you create safe,
meaningful connections, the kind that truly respect your boundaries, your energy, and your time.
Thinking about dating again, take this as your sign. Start your love story on Bumble.

and businesses in history. And some of the worst people, horrible ideas, and
destructive companies in the history of business.
Having a genius idea without a need for it is nothing.
It's like not having it at all.
It's a very simple, elegant lesson.
Make something people want.
First episode, how Southwest Airlines use cheap seats and free whiskey to fight its way into
the airline business.
The most Texas story ever.
There's a lot of mavericks in that story.
We're going to have mavericks on the show.
We're going to have plenty of robber barons.
So many robber barons.
And you know what?
They're not all bad.
And we'll talk about some of the clobrocks.
classic great moments of famous business geniuses,
along with some of the darker moments that often get overlooked.
Like Thomas Edison and the electric chair.
Listen to business history on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcast.
On the podcast health stuff,
we are tackling all the health questions that keep you up at night.
Yes, I'm Dr. Priyanka Wally, a double board certified physician.
And I'm Hurricane Dibolu, a comedian and someone who once Googled,
do I have scurvy at 3 a.m.
On health stuff, we're talking about health in a different way.
It's not only about what we can do to improve our health,
but also what our health says about us and the way we're living.
Like our episode where we look at diabetes.
In the United States, I mean, 50% of Americans are pre-diabetic.
How preventable is type 2?
Extremely.
Or our in-depth analysis of how incredible mangoes are.
Oh, it's hard to explain.
Explain to the rest of the world that you, like, your mangoes are fine because mangoes are incredible, but like, you don't even know.
You don't know.
You don't know.
It's going to be a fun ride.
So tune in.
Listen to health stuff on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
What up, y'all?
It's your boy, Kevin on stage.
I want to tell you about my new podcast called Not My Best Month, where I talk to artists, athletes, entertainers, creators, friends.
people I admire who had massive success about their massive failures.
What did they mess up on?
What is their heartbreak?
And what did they learn from it?
I got judged horribly.
The judges were like, you're trash.
I don't know how you got on the show.
Boo, somebody had tomatoes.
I'm kidding.
But if they had tomatoes, they would have thrown the tomatoes.
Let's be honest.
We've all had those moments we'd rather forget.
We bumped our head.
We made a mistake.
The deal fell through.
We're embarrassed.
We failed.
But this podcast is about.
that and how we made it through.
So when they sat me down, they were kind of like, we got into the small talk and they were
just like, so what do you got?
What?
What ideas?
And I was like, oh, no.
What?
Check out not my best moment with me, Kevin on stage on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcast, YouTube, or wherever you get your podcast.
Katie Thurston says she's been struggling with her health recently.
this is amid her breast cancer battle.
Ashley, what do we know?
This is actually like not what you would expect it was.
She felt like maybe her air vents that were in the heaters were creating some breathing problems.
She said that today the heating units of my apartment are being professionally cleaned,
and I think this was the culprit.
Friendly reminder to check your air quality of your home and stay on top of regular maintenance.
If you're a renter like me, don't be afraid to ask on the last time the air ducts have been clean.
There are laws protecting us in our health.
She just felt like she was just like a bit under the weather and like mentally and emotionally just like not feeling together, which obviously can happen in the midst of her cancer battle.
But she hopefully like in a few weeks we'll know if she's feeling better and it could have just been that.
And this did remind me to change the air vents out, which has been on my list.
That's the air filter.
You're talking about the air filter.
Yeah.
So tell me, do you get your air vents cleaned out in your house?
Yeah, every other year we're getting our air vents cleaned.
Oh, darn.
I got to do that.
Like the duck work needs to be cleaned out.
And it's not something you think about until you have it cleaned out and they'll send you some pictures of what your ducks look like.
And you're like, oh, my goodness, that's just spraying through our house.
We also invested.
And I'll have Jess post about it.
Maybe I will too.
We bought this filter.
it's a very nice like air filter for the home it's really nice it sits on kind of in our most
our most used living area uh that's really important also because the stuff that that sucks in
uh is pretty wild once you look at the filter once you need to change it it's important and we've
had the conversation before here about you know mold and dust and all those things that can get
built up in our homes that we don't even know sometimes exist but it can cause like really severe
health issues for those. And so it's a great reminder. Katie continues to put really good
information out there in the world. In fact, Ashley, we talked about this last week on the headlines,
but Michelle Young just found out that she had mold in her house. And that was what caused her to
leave her honeymoon early because she was so sick. So if you're listening to this, this is one of
those things that you'll forget by the time you get home. So either make a note or if you're at
home right now. Call somebody to do it. It is worth the investment to clean the hidden areas of
your home. It's really important. I'm actually right now actually going through a four-day juice
cleanse for kind of these kind of toxins. It's designed for the metals and the molds and all those
things. And so I'm in the midst of it right now. So if I snap at you and yell at you, it's because
I'm hungry. I'm so hungry. You haven't eaten anything. I haven't eaten anything. I'm doing a water
juice cleanse and it's designed to kind of do a little bit. I don't know if it's going to be the
fixer, but at least does a little bit to like reset my body, especially after travel. And when I
travel, I drink more than I want to and I eat unhealthy. So I'm just trying to bounce back into
like a healthy place in my life. But let me know how you feel afterward. I will. I will.
It's wild. I'm pretty early on in it. But I'll be, I'll try to go fortified.
five days. We'll see.
Hot damn, five days to be a lot. I did a three-day once.
Yeah. Golden Bachelors, Mel Owens, Ed Pegg Munson, reveal their holiday plans.
Okay. So they are going to go to Vegas this weekend. It should chill out and relax at Peg's
house. And then after that, they're going to go to Michigan. They did not say whether or not
it would be for, like, actual Thanksgiving. But they're going to an event called the hobnob
but gobble, which is obviously Thanksgiving themed.
And then said that after that,
they're going to go to Toronto and then Montreal,
and then they're going to spend just time in those cities.
They said that as far as Thanksgiving,
they're going to be at his,
no, they will be together.
Yeah, they're going to be at his friend's house
before attending the biggest game in college football together,
the one that is University of Michigan versus Ohio State.
on the Saturday following Thanksgiving.
So there we go.
They will be spending a ton of time together
over the next two weeks.
Sounds like they're still doing well,
which is good.
Dance with the Stars,
Sasha Farber sets the record straight
on Caitlin Bristow friendship.
I feel like this guy always pops up
every season that he's like dating
some contestant or something, right?
Well, he used to be married to one of the other leads.
Then him and Jen like had a thing, right?
And then he and Jim.
Jen, like, dated, dated.
I want to say for, like, six months.
And my friend who, you know, has some insight into Caitlin's life, perhaps,
was like, is Caitlin dating Sasha?
Because they did post a really intimate, flirty, romantic dance on Instagram last week
when they were doing, like, stuff for the 20th anniversary of Dancing with the Stars.
But no, he said, I've known Caitlin for so many years.
Anytime she comes out to L.A., we hang out.
And then he said that doing choreography is not going to, like, signify that there's a new relationship.
Definitely no hard launch there, he said, and it's the same thing going on with rumors of he and Juliana Huff dating.
He said, no, known Jules for so many years.
You just, you know, hang out a lot.
We're just talking life.
He was married to Emma Slater.
they got divorced and they finalized their divorce in
2004 so it hasn't even been that long
he said no hard launches just friends
well that's all the headlines we have for you today
Caitlin Bristow is just a friendly human
that's who you know that's who she is
that's what we've learned from this again get your house
clean for dust and mold
we'll be back with more great content
coming your way on the almost famous podcast Ashley
congratulations to the announcement of the real
Housewives Rhode Island and you being a part of it. It's a big deal. And I think it's something
that all of us are excited to watch with our own eyes. We hope we see a ton of you on our screens.
But, who knows? Until next time, I've been Ben. I've been Ashley. Thank you guys. Bye.
