Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast, Doubt, the case of Lucy Letby, we unpack the story of an unimaginable tragedy that gripped the UK in 2023. But what if we didn't get the whole story? Evidence has been made to fit. The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapsed. What if the truth was disguised by a story we chose to believe?
Starting point is 00:00:24 Oh my God, I think she might be innocent. Listen to Doubt, the case of Lucy Letby, on the IHeart radio, app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. This is Special Agent Regal, Special Agent Bradley Hall. In 2018, the FBI took down a ring of spies working for China's Ministry of State Security, one of the most mysterious intelligence agencies in the world. The Sixth Bureau podcast is a story of the inner workings of the MSS and how one man's ambition and mistakes opened its fault of secrets.
Starting point is 00:00:57 Listen to the Sixth Bureau on the IHeart Radio app. Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, it's Joe Interesting, host of the Spirit Daughter podcast, where we talk about astrology, natal charts, and how to step into your most vibrant life. And today I'm talking with my dear friend, Krista Williams. It can change you in the best way possible. Dance with the change, dance with the breakdowns,
Starting point is 00:01:22 the embodiment of Pisces' intuition with Capricorn power moves. So I'm, like, delusionally proud of my church. Listen to the Spirit Daughter podcast, starting on February 24th on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to your podcast. I'm Clayton Neckard. In 2022, I was the lead of ABC's The Bachelor. But here's the thing. Bachelor fans hated him. If I could press a button and rewind it all I would. That's when his life took a disturbing turn. A one-night stand would end in a courtroom. The media is here. This case has gone viral.
Starting point is 00:02:00 the dating contract. Agree to date me, but I'm also suing you. This is unlike anything I've ever seen before. I'm Stephanie Young. Listen to Love Trapped on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, I do part two. It's your favorite mentors, Susan Knowles and Kathy Swartz. From the Golden Bachelor and the podcast Bachelor Happy Hour's Golden Hour.
Starting point is 00:02:46 Today, we're going to catch up with a woman who has really. really been her own warrior in her chapter two. She's divorced, a single mom to two boys, and she's been fighting to find answers with the medical nightmare she's been trapped in for years. From the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it's our one and only Brandy Glanville. Brandy, welcome. Welcome, Randy. Hi. I'm Kathy. And I'm Susan, and we finally meet. How are you? I'm good. I've been up all night with my dog. So I have no makeup. I've been up all night too and I don't have a dog. So, you know, we just want to get right into it. Brandy, you have been so transparent in the last few years about your health struggles. First off, of course, is how are you doing today? Seriously. I'm good. I like I have, what is it called? Tonitis or something in my ear. So. Titonitis. It's ringing, like, constantly.
Starting point is 00:03:52 So I almost used to it this morning. But it's hard to hear people. One of my friends can't hear out of his left ear. And I'd always get frustrated with him because I would have to, like, repeat everything. And now I'm like, I was such a bitch. I am so sorry. I cannot, like, I literally can't hear it. Randy, Carmen is a bitch.
Starting point is 00:04:14 It is. He's like, I told you. I'm like, oh. Brandy, I have to share with you, my daughter went through five years of hell and had no idea what was wrong with her. And she actually wrote a book about tattas. And it was her breast implants. Can you share with us your journey? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:34 I mean, honestly, it all started. I just started feeling sick about three years ago. And it was all like all my symptoms were really in my neck and my head. And not in my head. So she says. Yes. And now it's, and now it's trouble to your ears.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Right. It's like the whole body's going. But then my joints, like I felt like I was a hundred years old. Like I would go to sit down and it would take me like five minutes to stand up. And it was just like I ate. I can't even explain it. I just felt like I had brain.
Starting point is 00:05:17 rain fog. It's coming back to me, so excuse me. It's exactly what Brittany did. Yeah. And how did you decide that the issue, what made you decide to have the breast implant implants taken out? Well, I mean, they were making me sick. Did you know that was the cause though? How did you figure that out or you didn't? Yeah, I mean, it could have been menopause. It could have been anything. No, I had no idea, but I just go, I went to 21 doctors and not. Yes. I'm telling you, two. I'm telling you, $200,000. I had insurance with the people of my insurance, like Kaiser, let's just say, sucks. So I was like, I'm paying out of pocket to see specialist, infectious disease doctors,
Starting point is 00:06:02 you know, rheumatologist, like every doctor you can think of, I saw. And no one suggested it was the breast implants? No, because I had mammograms that were fine. And did anyone say menopause or just ate the natural process of aging or, anything, nothing. No, no, because it wasn't, it came on like overnight and I had like, I had weird lumps in my neck, like hard lumps. So did crazy. Lumps. Yes, like really, really hard lumps. I still have them because it's going to take some time for them to go away. Yes. I can't explain the like the brain fog, the fatigue. I would get up and go into the pantry
Starting point is 00:06:42 and not know why I was in the pantry. But see, what I'm saying, Brandy, I hear you, obviously. you and Susan's daughter have a lot in common. Everything she's saying, Kathy, I watched. But when I went through menopause, the brain fog, the getting up and going to room, why the hell am I here? I don't remember. No, it's different. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:59 No, no, no. Yeah. It's different. It's like hot flashes and night sweats and all the fun. And some brain fog. Yeah. It was completely different for me. And by the way, that was done in COVID.
Starting point is 00:07:11 So I knew it wasn't that. And when you had them taken out, did you feel? feel immediate something because my daughter felt immediately. I did. A thousand times better. Not 100%, but a thousand times better. Yeah. So I'm two weeks out right now.
Starting point is 00:07:29 But the first week, I was like up. I would sit down. I would jump up. I was going to the kitchen. I was actually doing too much because I was so excited to be moving. Right. And he's like, you have to stop. Like I'm like, no.
Starting point is 00:07:45 You know, like for me, all of my. my symptoms were on my left side, really, but my right breast was ruptured and had, like, leaks. And I had silicone in both my lymph nodes, like, both under my arms and both my arms, like, silicone were in my lymph nodes. However, like, the mammograms were saying, you're fine. So I, like, literally not that long ago was, like, to my friend James, who's gay, because that's the only love I get right now. Damn, I was going to ask if you could fix me up when I heard a man's name was to say, he'd fix me up with him. Never mind.
Starting point is 00:08:23 You don't want him. He just tell you everything that's wrong with you. Oh, and that's a long list, Brandy. You have no idea. Well, he would rattle it off. Trust me. No, and I said, James, because he's obsessed with boobs and I always tell him. I'm like, I don't think your mom breastfed you long enough.
Starting point is 00:08:42 That's your problem. He's always wanted to take a picture where his hands are over my boobs. I'm like, we actually did it one day, but I was just like, why? Why? And so I asked him, I said, James, is my right boob look a little bit smaller than my left boob? And he's like, yes, I go ahead and feel it. And I go, it's feeling a little bit harder. My boobs were fine, like nothing.
Starting point is 00:09:09 So I got a new manager and I told her about my problem. And she told me that she had 15 breast implant surgeries. She almost died from it. It took her like five years. She goes, you need to get a sonogram like tomorrow. Yeah. And so I went to this new place that like usually sonograms give you 6,000 images. This one gives you 30,000 images.
Starting point is 00:09:38 You feel like I have to ask, Wendy, do you feel like you sort of have earned your medical degree by now? No. My friend told me, she's like, you know, if you're on antibiotics too long, they stop working. I'm like, girl. I'm a doctor. I'm very aware of that at this point. I'm like, I kind of have been down every medical rabbit hole there is.
Starting point is 00:09:59 Wow. It's amazing. So clearly you're beginning to feel better. And this podcast, as you probably know, is all about relationships and finding love in chapter two, which we are all in our chapter two. I'm on chapter three. I'm on chapter three. Well, okay, you're on chapter three. So we all have our, you know, Susan's divorced, you're divorced. We're going to get into that a little bit. I'm a widow, which is, yeah, thank you. It's, in fact, today is the seventh anniversary of his death and he died by suicide seven years ago today. Oh my God, that's horrible. I'm so sorry. Thank you. But this is about you
Starting point is 00:10:37 today. It was about you today, too. That's a hard day. Thank you. Thank you. I appreciate it. But I got some great news today, and that's how life is. So I'm doing great. I want to know, though, how I've had some health issues since I've been single and going through it by myself. You know, I have three grown children. You have two young sons. But I want to know how has it been going through this experience as a single woman with a gay friend who just wants to put his hands on your top? Well, when she mentioned her best friend was, you know, her gay friend.
Starting point is 00:11:06 At least I thought she had somebody. Yeah. You know, and when you go healthy, did your ex-husband come to them? support you at all or was he no? No. Your sons? Oh yeah. My sons have been, they're 18 and 22
Starting point is 00:11:22 so they're growing. I mean they're Oh, trust me. Trust me, Brandy. They're not grown. They are not grown. Boys and brains are not, frontal lobes are not fully developed to the 24 so. Start marking your calendar. No, I mean, but they're 18 and 22 was like my 12 and 15.
Starting point is 00:11:39 You know what I mean? Like, they're boys. Yeah. These kids too, right now, they're not, like, developed. I can't explain it. Are you saying, yeah, but you know what? They'll get there and then they'll be your biggest supporters. But I want to know if your ex-husband, Eddie, he has not shown any support to you throughout this because what you've been through is traumatic.
Starting point is 00:12:01 I'm going to take that as a no. He has not. I mean, but, you know, we are getting along and that's all I can ask for. we like are together on holidays. I missed a few because I was so ill. And it sucked to not be with my boys on, you know, certain holidays. I just, I literally would lay in bed like for four days straight. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:26 What about like Leanne went through her, her wellness treatment thing and lost her teeth in the middle of a concert. Do you guys swap stories or? You just missed Brandy's eyes. No, I saw her. I just want to know. I mean, yeah, so I was over for Christmas and we were talking about, I told her, like, I had like six teeth pulled as well during this whole thing, which is great. They're so, like I feel like a hillbilly because there's so one-knitted every hair. And waiting for your implant.
Starting point is 00:12:59 And I cannot, exactly. It's a bitch getting old, Brandy. It's a bitch getting old. I know. Well, I've had teeth that she's my whole life. Yeah, soft teeth. Yeah, exactly. Are you telling me that, okay, so brand, I mean, obviously, you're not going to be kissing cousins with Leanne.
Starting point is 00:13:17 But given what she's been through and what you've been through, please tell me she has supported you in some way. I mean, they have me over for the holidays. Did they talk, she talk about the plasma treatment that she had and what it did for her or anything? Well, she, I don't think she had it yet. Or maybe, no, she had. Actually, she had. I talked to her at Christmas a little bit. but I hadn't told anyone about my breasts as of yet.
Starting point is 00:13:45 But luckily, I have two boys with big mouths. And she's like, so it's your breast implants? And I'm like, no. And I looked at Mason. He's like, what? She said, like, she got it out of me. I'm like, oh, my God, I'm never telling you anything again. You only tell girlfriends this.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Yes. Or you're gay friends. I mean, I want to know. Like, a $10,000 plasm exchange to clear toxins, you know, I find a bottle of vodka does the same thing. I mean, unless you're on antibiotics, then you're just a giant rocking yeast infection, which is never fun. China's Ministry of State Security is one of the most mysterious and powerful spy agencies in the world. But in 2017, the FBI got inside. This is Special Agent Regal, Special Agent Bradley Hall.
Starting point is 00:14:45 This MSS officer has no idea the U.S. government is on to him. But the FBI has his chats, texts, emails, even his personal diary. Hear how they got it on the Sixth Bureau podcast. I now have several terabytes of an MSS officer, no doubt, no question, of his life. And that's the unicorn. No one had ever seen anything like that. It was unbelievable. This is a story of the inner workings of the MSS.
Starting point is 00:15:15 and how one man's ambition and mistakes opened its fault of secrets. Listen to the Sixth Bureau on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, this is Joe Winterstein, host of the Spirit Daughter podcast, where we talk about astrology, natal charts, and how to step into your most vibrant life. And I just sat down with a mini driver. The Irish traveler said when I was 16, you're going to have a terrible time with men. actor, storyteller, and unapologetic Aquarian visionary. Aquarius is all about freedom-loving and different perspectives, and I find a lot of people with strong placements in Aquarius are misunderstood.
Starting point is 00:16:00 A son and Venus and Aquarius in her seventh house spark her unconventional approach to partnership. He really has taught me to embrace people sleeping in different rooms, on different houses, and different places, but just an embracing of the isness of it all. If you're navigating your own transformation or just want to chart-side view into how a leading artist integrates astrology, creativity, and real life, this episode is a must listen. Listen to the Spirit Daughter podcast starting on February 24th on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to your podcast. In 2023, a story gripped the UK, evoking horror and disbelief. A nurse who should have been in charge of caring for tiny, baby. is now the most prolific child killer in modern British history.
Starting point is 00:16:49 Everyone thought they knew how it ended. A verdict? A villain. A nurse named Lucy Letby. Lucy Letby has been found guilty. But what if we didn't get the whole story? The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapses. I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast, doubt the case of Lucy Lettby, we follow the evidence
Starting point is 00:17:09 and hear from the people that lived it. To ask what really happened when the world. world decided who Lucy Lettby was. No voicing of any skepticism or doubt. It'll cause so much harm at every single level of the British establishment of this is wrong. Listen to Doubt, the case of Lucy Letby on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Clayton Eckerd, and in 2022, I was the lead of ABC's The Bachelor. Unfortunately, it didn't go according to plan.
Starting point is 00:17:44 the first bachelor to ever have his final rose rejected. The internet turned on him. If I could press a button and rewind it all I would. But what happened to Clayton after the show made even bigger headlines. It began as a one-night stand and ended in a courtroom with Clayton at the center of a very strange paternity scandal. The media is here. This case has gone viral. The dating contract. Agree to date me, but I'm also suing you.
Starting point is 00:18:11 Please search warrant. This is unlike any. anything I've ever seen before. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trapped. This season, an epic battle of He Said, and the search for accountability in a sea of lies. Listen to Love Trapped on the IHeart Radio app,
Starting point is 00:18:34 Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I have a couple of questions here now. Have you, you know, I'm single, Susan's sort of single. What's it like? Have you found a tribe? How have you learned to love yourself again? How, you know, what you're going through is traumatic. How are you moving through this stage of your life?
Starting point is 00:19:02 Honestly, like I haven't had sex in three years the whole time I've been sick because I've I've lost my confidence. And I felt like I lost everything at once in a weird way. Like I lost my job. I lost my reputation. I lost my looks. Well, you also suffered from some kind of. kind of facial parasite, I think you mentioned.
Starting point is 00:19:27 Yeah, but I'm not sure that this maybe didn't have something to do with it. Yes. I mean, my breast implants were 18 years old. So are you, wait, are the breast implants, like I'm just going to be honest. I mean, Susan and I have both had a little work done. We've had a little fillers, a little. I mean, is it possible that something else caused the parasites on your face? Or is it?
Starting point is 00:19:50 Yeah. I mean, I went to Africa. I mean, I didn't have like a bunch of parasites. You only need one. But you know what? There's comfort. There's comfort in more, Brandy. There's comfort in more.
Starting point is 00:20:03 Is there comfort in numbers? I don't, not when it comes to parasites. But I literally was like some things in my face having babies. And as I massage, I'm like, sorry, sorry. I'm killing your babies. Yes. I mean, Susan is an expert on, because her daughter has been through Helen. back. And that's true. I will say to you, though, you know, the litany of what you just listed,
Starting point is 00:20:27 you know, losing a marriage, losing your job, losing your reputation. I'll argue the fact, losing your looks. But I understand what you're saying. And I'm a big proponent of, I always say loss is loss. You know, it's not a, it's not a, it's not a game to see whose loss is worse. No. No, but it's a definition and explanation of depression. I'm sure. And I know that I went through an incredibly hard time and I had grief therapy and I leaned on friends. Are you, what are you doing? Because these can be dark times. Yeah, no, they've been dark times because I've isolated myself because, you know,
Starting point is 00:21:08 everyone would call, how are you? Horrible. Yeah. I know. I got, I got the letters. How are you doing? How the hell do you think I'm doing? Exactly.
Starting point is 00:21:17 And you don't want to, you don't want to keep saying it. Yeah. And then it's just like, so I just stopped answering my phone. And I was really, I only saw my kids, really. And now today you're feeling a little bit more like yourself. You're looking better. You're feeling healthier. How does that make you feel like you starting to love yourself again and feel confident?
Starting point is 00:21:39 You know, I'm still working on my confidence. I think it just has to do with like my hair fell out. And, you know, you know. Whitney's did too. You know what I mean? Like it's just a lot. of, it seems silly, but I mean, as women, we, like, when you, when you look good, you feel good. You feel good, yes.
Starting point is 00:21:58 But, Brandy, let me say something. First of all, letting others judge for me, every day was a struggle. I'm just going to be honest, getting through what I went through. And so what did I got, even though I wanted to crawl in bed and put the, and I did. But I realized that I have a lot of life left to live and so do you. In my darkest days, and believe me, I had them. I couldn't shower. I couldn't answer the phone.
Starting point is 00:22:22 I couldn't read one more note of condolences. I can't. One more, I'm sorry. And one more, can I do something for you? Like, I couldn't even think how to put my foot. So I just,
Starting point is 00:22:35 one day, I just thought, I have to get up and move. And I got up and started walking. I journaled a couple of times. I started, it sounds so silly now, but like could I get up and boil an egg
Starting point is 00:22:49 make scrambled legs like do something because I was I was frozen and I you know I want to know if you're doing any of those things two weeks out of surgery correct but you can move you can get up my god I was like sweeping during the windows I came out of surgery and I threw my hand I was a little bit loopy and that day like when they wheeled me out I threw my like yes I threw my hands in the air they're like No. And I'm like, they're like, yeah, let's not do that yet. You're feeling good right now.
Starting point is 00:23:23 So what are you doing? What are you doing to make yourself feel better right now? Well, you're being a little pushy. I'm kidding. Me, Kathy. Hi, Brandy, listen, I'm the girl in the golden bachelor who told the woman who got married to zip it. So, you know, that's why I am. Well, yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:41 Well, is she divorced now? Yeah, so there you go. Moving on. Yeah. I'm still like my, I had my son and his girlfriend over for dinner and I made fun of him. That makes me really happy, like making fun of my children. The same one that has your personality can get a little funny too. Oh, I mean, oh gosh, they both have my wit.
Starting point is 00:24:10 And like, I'm like I used to be real quick, but it's coming back and he saw that. He's like, uh-oh. He's like, mom's back. Mom's back. And like, and his girlfriend, I love her to death. And like, I could say anything in front of her. And he was saying something so stupid that I had to call him out. I'm like, you, like, and now it's a joke.
Starting point is 00:24:35 I mean, I would say what it is, but he's going to look like an ass. So I'm not. No, no, no. We don't want to embarrass them. And watching your son be in love and having a girlfriend. Do you feel like someday you're going to fall in love again and are you open? And can I have your cast-offs? Well, you know what?
Starting point is 00:24:53 I don't know if I even have since my ex-husband. I've had like relationships where I love the person, but I don't know if love is the same the second time. I don't think it is. I couldn't tell you. I didn't, I've not, I had butterflies. Okay, that's a good thing. That's a good feeling. Whether the butterflies turn into moths, what happened?
Starting point is 00:25:15 No, I haven't had butterflies. Oh, you haven't. Oh, no. It was just silicone everywhere. Yeah. I will say it looks different. For me, it looks very, I don't want to replace my husband. I mean, I wouldn't know.
Starting point is 00:25:26 Yeah. God. I know you might want to. I definitely don't. I don't. I don't. Do your sons ever say to you, mom, we want you to find somebody. We want you to get married again.
Starting point is 00:25:35 No, they don't want me to get married, but they want me to find boyfriend. They're like, I think they're sick of like coming over and hanging out. So wait, do they, so they don't say, I mean, guys, boys, I have one daughter and two sons. And my daughter, trust me, if you think your boys are tough, have a daughter. Oh, my God. It'll put. Yeah, really, we can test to that. But I want to know how do you look at marriage. How long were you married to Eddie? I was married for eight years, but with him for 13, like straight. There was no breaks. There was so. Yeah. So how would. you look at, I mean, I was married, you don't even want to know how long. How do you look at marriage
Starting point is 00:26:12 now? Like, if you were considering it, how do you consider it now versus just? I wouldn't, I wouldn't get married again, only because getting unmarried was so difficult. Yes. Like, it was the hardest. I actually think this past three years is harder than my divorce. It's just saying a lot. But I would love to cohabitate. I would love to have a partner. I just don't want someone to be there because they have to be there. Yeah. Because what would he look like? What would he look like?
Starting point is 00:26:41 If you look for something different than what you did 20 years ago, like what kind of traits would they have to have or not have that you? They have to be confident. And like, like I can date a shorter guy. I'm a very tall girl. How tall are you? I'm five, ten. But when I put on heels, you know, you're six to or six one.
Starting point is 00:27:02 And I've dated like some shorter men. And as long as they're confident that I can wear my. beautiful high heels that I spent a lot of money on, then I'm cool with it. But if they're like, can you put on flats, we are breaking up. Yeah, because they're not comfortable in their own skin. Why on earth would I have to lower myself literally? And my love language is shoes. Like, what are you talking about? I'm just going to say, Brandy, I don't think in that book, shoes is one of the five. Well, it should be. I mean, we could, we could subtitle it under gifts if you want.
Starting point is 00:27:38 I mean, it's shoes. I mean, I buy, like, I buy myself shoes. Shoes and purses I spend money on. Everything else I'm at Target. Like, what's a high shoe do you wear? Well, it's so sad. I went from a seven and a half when I was before kids. And now I'm a nine.
Starting point is 00:27:57 Damn. And I had to get rid of all of my favorite. Like, like, I buy expensive shoes. Like, I don't spend money on a lot. But, like, my shoes. That's your thing. That's your thing. In 2023, a story gripped the UK, evoking horror and disbelief.

And that's a unicorn. No one had ever seen anything like that.
Starting point is 00:29:52 It was unbelievable. This is a story of the inner workings of the MSS and how one man's ambition and mistakes opened its fault of secrets. Listen to the Sixth Bureau on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, this is Joe Winterstein, host of the Spirit Daughter podcast, where we talk about astrology,

The Irish traveler said when I was 16, you're going to have a terrible time with men. Actor, storyteller, and unapologetic, Aquarian visionary. Aquarius is all about freedom-loving
Starting point is 00:30:35 and different perspectives, and I find a lot of people with strong placements in Aquarius are misunderstood. A son and Venus and Aquarius in her seventh house spark her unconventional approach to partnership. He really has taught me to embrace people sleeping in different rooms, on different houses and different places, but just an embracing of the isness of it all. Starting point is 00:31:17 I'm Clayton Eckerd, and in 2022, I was the lead of ABC's The Bachelor. Unfortunately, it didn't go according to plan. He became the first Bachelor to ever have his final rose rejected. The internet turned on him. If I could press a button and rewind it all I would. But what happened to Clayton after the show? made even bigger headlines. It began as a one-night stand
Starting point is 00:31:41 and ended in a courtroom with Clayton at the center of a very strange paternity scandal. The media is here. This case has gone viral. The dating contract. Agree to date me, but I'm also suing you.
Starting point is 00:31:53 Please search warrant. This is unlike anything I've ever seen before. I'm Stephanie Young. This is love-trapped. This season, an epic battle of He Said She Said. and the search for accountability in a sea of lies.
Starting point is 00:32:14 Listen to Love Trapped on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. You know, after all this time and being a prisoner, literally, in your own body, not knowing what was happening to you. And now that you have an answer and you're moving forward, what will it take for you to start loving your body again instead of being afraid of it? Good sex.
Starting point is 00:32:49 Yeah, I mean, if I remember how. Brandy, three years, you need a toy. That's your first. Oh, no, I have buckets full of toys, but I didn't even, I didn't have the energy. Had no desire, right, right. Or the desire to even use them. I mean, I would go and get my hormones, like, you know, the palace and stuff. Yes.
Starting point is 00:33:09 Yes. It didn't do any. It gave me a little energy, but it was. Nothing more than that. I have the hottest doctor, but he's very married. And I would just be like, like, that was like my big outing for the month, you know. I'm like, oh, I'm going to be. Going to the doctor to get her ass shop.
Starting point is 00:33:28 Wait, I want to know where she's looking. When you decide to start dating, tell me what your procedure. What's your process going to be? Because I'm taking notes here. Okay. So, I mean, honestly, I like on like dating websites. You are? On his favorite.
Starting point is 00:33:44 Yeah, I mean, but I was on age before. it became, it's like more like Tinder now, honestly. Yeah, but wait, I would think you would be nervous, Brandy, because people know who you are. I would think you would use a matchmaker. I thought that's what you were going to say, actually. No, I mean, honestly, straight men have no idea who I am. I mean, it's gays and gals. And that's okay.
Starting point is 00:34:08 That's great. That's actually wonderful for me. Because I have. You're not judging. that I've met on like a TV show and they love the camera and you have to you have to wonder I already have trust issues so you have to wonder are they here for me or are they here because they want to be on TV. And so I mean the past three years I haven't moved out of my bed so that wouldn't be a problem. But I just I you know, I think that I went out for Valentine's Day with my girlfriend, not like girlfriend, girlfriend, one, but like just one of my friends.
Starting point is 00:34:47 And that was big. And we were like flirting with the bartender. And like I started to feel like I wanted to get dressed up. Like I have not. I've been in my pajamas for three years. You know, I'm like I wanted to get dressed up again. I want to wear my sexy clothes. I want to put on lingerie.
Starting point is 00:35:05 I want to. I just need. It's been two weeks. Yeah. You need to be patient with yourself. You need to be patient, Brandy. It's it all comes in. time. I just hearing you talk, I hope, I mean, I could be your mother almost.
Starting point is 00:35:22 No, you couldn't. Well, I'm saying, I just hope that you don't let others define your beauty, your self-worth, your value, because that's a no win game. What about TV? Would you want to go back on TV? I don't know. I mean, honestly, I have, I'm definitely finishing my book up. Like, it's hard for me because I, I'm sure it's hard for everyone. But I grew up modeling and then I fell into television, not on purpose. It found me. I didn't find it. So I've kind of always been defined by my looks.
Starting point is 00:35:59 So I am extremely hard on myself. It's not anyone else. Like my kids are like, you look back to normal. And I'm like, I go, look at this. And like, you know, there's things that come up on your phone. From the past, yes, the picture. Yes, yes. Oh, God, look how good I looked. At the time, at the time, I didn't think I'd look great.
Starting point is 00:36:21 That's what I'm saying. We're old enough now. You're not alone. But we're old enough now. I mean, truly, we're old enough now. We all do that. We look, you know, 10 years ago, you're like, damn, I was hot. Why didn't I know it at the time? No, exactly. Highside is 2020. Yeah, but you know what? You should learn from that. I have. I'm learning now. And L.A. is L.A. Would you ever consider a different kind of life moving out of Los Angeles and doing something different?
Starting point is 00:36:50 Yeah. Only if my boys move, I have to be near them. I'm like, I'm in, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I will go where they go. If they just, if they just, if I'm like, you're going to college is near one another. And so, luckily, my, um, eldest is that chat. men so it's not far away. Oh, yeah. Is he the one that was modeling?
Starting point is 00:37:15 Yes, he's still modeling as well. And then my, my youngest is taking a little time after high school. He just graduated. It's called a gap year. Yeah, I mean, let's hope it's, I mean,
Starting point is 00:37:28 let's hope it's one year. But he's in acting classes. He just got a job because I was like, I, if you look at my Venmo history, like it's my friend, my friend Fado was like, she was like, You know your Vembo's public?
Starting point is 00:37:42 I'm like, yeah, I do. Because I want to embarrass my children. I'm like, here's $100. And it says, what is this for? And I'm like, nothing, linsiness. And so she's like, girl, you need to stop with that. I'm like, nope, because it's for nothing. Like, they need to get jobs.
Starting point is 00:38:00 Like, I had a job when I was 12. Like, I worked my whole life. Would you be okay with your boys being on TV? Would you like that or care? So Mason is going to be on TV. He did a reality show, but he decided it's not for him. He literally shot the first episode with me because they asked to shoot with me. And so it's like the housewife's kids, like Larsa Pippen's son is friends with my son.
Starting point is 00:38:32 And so they got all of these rich kids of Calabasas. I'm not rich. They might be. I'm not. So he shot an episode with me and he made me cry. First he told me all the things I couldn't talk about. I go, do you think that's going to work with people, with your friends?
Starting point is 00:38:52 I go, don't say anything because the second you tell them not to say it, a producer's going to go, go say that. Yes. And so he made me cry in our, I was like, what are you talking about? Like, he was, I'm like, I'm not allowed to talk about yourself. but you could talk about my stuff. Yeah, that's about right. That's about what kids are like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:14 Yeah, but he decided, he did, he did like, it's not aired yet. It's going to be on Netflix, and I don't know the actual title, but he was like, I'm, it's not for me. It makes it makes him anxious, and he's already a little bit anxious, like his mama. So he was, he was shaking his knee the whole time. I'm like, dude, you're with me. I'm not going to throw you under the bus. Right, right, right, right.
Starting point is 00:39:39 Come on. I said a few things that embarrass him, but that's what I like to do. So would you date, how do you feel about dating a guy who has children, maybe your kid's age or even younger? Do you feel like you'd want to start reparenting younger kids again? Well, no. Hell no, hell no. I did it.
Starting point is 00:40:00 I got them out of the house. They're great boys. They have jobs. They haven't been to jail. They haven't been to rehab. We're good. I'm not doing that again. No way. I mean, but older kids, yes, they're great. You know, I love, I love family.
Starting point is 00:40:14 Yes. My family was all together. Um, actually, was it yesterday over the weekend and like, I'm still a little foggy. That's okay. And my mom sent me a picture. She's like, this is what retirement looks like. And it was of this guy, this really handsome guy. And I, like, I was like, mom, are you trying to set me up? Because I'm really not ready. Two weeks, Rob. Two weeks with the stitches even. Like, come on. I haven't even looked at them yet. Come on. She's like, Brandy, that's your little brother.
Starting point is 00:40:46 Oh, my goodness. Oh, God. He grew his hair out and he grew a beard and a mustache. And I haven't, I mean, last time I saw him, he was like, bald. I'm like, wait, are you close with your family? Yes. Very close. I'm mom and dad are still together.
Starting point is 00:41:02 I have an older sister. She's 16 months older. And my brother is two years younger, but they all live in Northern California. So, you know, I don't go to the family barbecues. I'm like, why are you even up? It's 10. My mom goes to bed at like 9. I'm like, it's 10.30.
Starting point is 00:41:19 She's like, the Olympics, Brandy. I'm like, oh, my gosh. Brandy, do you keep in touch with any of the other housewives? Did any of them come to support you during this time? Absolutely. The girls from girls trip were, I have been my biggest supporters, Vickie and Fadra and Iba. like those three and Gretchen as well but like really Vicky Fadre, Yolanda has been very helpful because she was like get your,
Starting point is 00:41:44 she was like one of the first people to say get your in-stack-em-out, take them out. Take them out. I said, no. You know, but she did. How do you feel moving forward about plastic surgery? Would you? I get it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:41:59 That didn't scare you. I'm not, I'm not anti-surgery. Let's be clear. I mean, I should have had them, like, they should have not passed mammograms. Let's be, that's another thing. I know, I know. My daughters did as well. Yeah, because also mammograms can cause a rupture.
Starting point is 00:42:17 But, you know, I should have been more responsible. They were older, but they looked fine. Hey, Benny, I'm going to give you some more advice that you don't want. Stop getting yourself up. I'm hearing this self-flagellation. Stop. You know, you've got a lot of life left to live. You're young.
Starting point is 00:42:35 You're young. We'll trade you ages in a minute. Yeah. You're young. You've got two fabulous kids. You have a lifetime of dating ahead of you. You're going to hand off the guys you don't want to Susan and me. I mean, this is a match.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Speaking of matchmakers, this is one made in heaven. But I want to know what your advice would be because you are truly, I am sympathetic to everything you've been through. And again, your life has played out publicly. And that's a whole. Yeah. That's a whole other dimension to what you've been through. But anyone who's listening, what would you want them to take away?
Starting point is 00:43:12 And I'm interested myself from your own lived experiences. What would you want them to know? I mean, like, I feel as soon, I mean, as soon as I'm, like, feeling, like, confident with myself, I just, like, this ringing my ear needs to stop. I don't want to be like, huh? And I like pull out my, every time I put my glasses on to read a menu, I feel old.
Starting point is 00:43:38 Like, I'm like, this is, wait, let me take off my glass. We all do that. Don't worry about that. No, you're my light and I'm like, because I, my vision is super, was perfect. And now it went, it was like super blurry. It's getting better.
Starting point is 00:43:53 But you, like, you don't even, I'm like, I'm growing blind, you know, like it was, no, I mean, just through these three years. Like, like, I really couldn't, like, see that well. And it was hard. I had no energy at all. I would, like, go up and down the stairs and be like, who, that's my workout.
Starting point is 00:44:12 Can you say it's in behind you now? Stop dwelling on everything that happened to you and start moving forward. Think about what's the first exercise routine or walk you're going to take and start repairing your mind. I'm not ready to say it's behind me now because I'm still in the thick of it. But honestly, I have a doctor's appointment. Yeah. Yeah, I have doctors who are today at three. I'll give you grace.
Starting point is 00:44:36 Thank you. I appreciate that because I'm not going to lie to you. I know. I would like to get a tooth in before your first date. Right. But of course, I have to have a sinus lift. I'm like, can I get a facelift and not a sinus lift? What the hell is a sinus lift?
Starting point is 00:44:57 So my sinuses are very close to my gum. to my gums. And so when they pulled the tooth, which is it dropped, my sinus dropped. So I have to get a sinus lift first and then an implant. Because you see the three of us out together. We don't have a ball.
Starting point is 00:45:12 Really? I could be your wing woman. I'm good at it. I'm really good at it too. And like my girlfriend, Hanan, like on Valentine's Day, she was,
Starting point is 00:45:22 I'm like, are you going to go out with the bartender? And she's like, I think I might. I'm like, okay. I was like, I was like,
Starting point is 00:45:29 all right. Brandy, we have had, we've had the chance to dig into so much with you, but there is so much more we want to talk about. So we're going to come back and join us all again for part two with Brandy Glendville.
