Aliens exists. Welcome to the Ben Mulrooney show. It is Monday, November 17th. Thank you so much for starting the week with us. Let's start off by looking to the sky and wondering if we are alone. It's a question that has gripped us for generations. It is a source of countless stories, countless books, countless movies, countless songs. And I think it's a question that we now have the technology.
technology to ponder in a very real way.
And to talk about this, we're bringing on somebody who's a good friend of the radio station
where we do the Ben Mulroney show, 640 Toronto.
He normally comes on to another show to discuss politics as a journalist with Blacklock's reporter.
Today we're talking about something a little bit different.
Tom Korski, welcome to the show.
Thank you, Ben.
Yes, so the Canada's chief science advisor, Dr. Mona Neamer, could be looking into anything.
right she could have uh she could be looking into to you know TB outbreaks or measles but she's
speaking out what extraterrestrials why that's a really good question it appears by the way budget
undisclosed so that's one of the mysteries of this aura of mystery budget undisclosed dr namer who's a
biochemist appointed by cabinet as their chief science advisor who really sat out an outbreak of science
we remember as COVID-19 really played no role in there whatsoever,
has assigned seven staff, we see-through access to information, Ben,
seven staff to what she calls a Sky Canada project.
Interestingly, there's been virtually no parliamentary committee scrutiny of this program,
the spending, the staff time.
What is the point of it?
The feds shut down their last UFO research project 30 years ago as a waste of money.
That was at the National Research Council,
It was an austerity cut.
And Dr. Nemer has brought it back, and she wants to have a new federal agency to take calls from Canadians who spot UFOs and asks, in these internal reports, we see, whether it's possible aliens have already visited Earth.
What would be the dynamics of that?
and how can we start to apply some sort of scientific lens to extraterrestrial contact with Canada?
Fascinating.
It is fascinating.
And look, there are two ways to look at it, Tom, because I'm of two minds.
One is to say, look, we don't have the money for this.
We don't have the money for most of the things, most of the bold, ambitious projects.
We're sending money around the world for projects that in no way will benefit Canadians.
And the money that we're sending doesn't exist.
It's all borrowed money that our kids and grandkids and great grandkids are going to have to pay back.
So this is not on the list of need to have.
This is a want to have or nice to have.
But I'm also sort of, I kind of look at it.
So the minority view in my mind, Tom, is, you know, it would be nice if we had, if we, like I look at what the Americans do.
And look, based on the on the data that exists, based on the congressional hearings that they've had,
based on the scientific conversations that they have,
based on all of the technology that they've brought to bear
on all sorts of issues that go beyond our globe,
from interstellar travel to the moon, to Mars,
to the satellites in orbit, to tracking, you know,
possible dangers to our Earth from the beyond.
They have placed a priority, at least in some way,
on looking to the stars.
We've never done that.
And the fact that we've saved our money,
we've penny-pinched by not doing that in the past,
it would have been nice if we'd spent that on things
that would make life on earth better,
but we haven't done that either.
And so I'm sort of of two minds.
Like, it'd be nice if we could have done that.
We haven't done it.
It shows what our priorities are.
But on the other hand, if we're starting to do it now,
where's that money going to come from?
That's exactly the point.
Because it always comes back to dollars, doesn't it, Ben?
Canada, we know, was the third country
in space way back in the 70s
with the satellite launches. But you're
right, time has marched on.
The prime minister today says
these are tough times, his words, not
mine. We have to tighten our belts
said the Minister of Finance.
Let's talk about science. You mentioned an interesting
word tuberculosis. Here's some science
that perhaps the chief science
advisor could look at. This is little
known. In 2018,
cabinet pledged over
almost $140 million
to eliminate tuberculosis. To eliminate
tuberculosis in our country by 2030. Why would that be an issue? In northern Canada, in particular,
among Inuit Canadians, they have the highest TB rate that has not been seen in our population
in 100 years. This is like a 1900 rate. They have higher TB rates than some countries in Africa.
Yeah. If I was a chief science advisor, instead of theorizing about atomic-powered spacecraft
traveling through galaxies.
I would get on that.
But that's just me, Ben.
I'm picking up what you're putting down.
I want to be clear.
The world I want to live in
is a world where our chief science officer
has the bandwidth and the budget
to look into space.
But we clearly don't live in that world.
You have to take the world as it is,
not as you want it to be.
In the world that we live in
is a world where we have no money
and we have to, we've been told
we've got to pinch,
are but we have to make sacrifices
in previous segments on this show
we have talked about the sacrifices
that Canadians make on a daily basis already
and the fact that we have
Canadian citizens
in our most remote places
who are dealing with
diseases that have existed
for generations
that in other parts of the world
are in more control than we have
in an industrialized nation like Canada
tells me that perhaps
the priorities of our
chief science officer, and by extension, the government, are a little out of whack.
Can you imagine? By the way, her recommendation for the special office to take calls,
like the description of the office is very explicit. Dr. Niemer is very enthusiastic about this,
but not publicly, only internally. There was one report her office came up with,
and this is the office she envisioned to take UFO calls from people who spot UFOs.
I don't want to characterize. I'll just read it just a sentence. This office would handle
sightings, investigate cases, provide public communication, and coordinate with scientific and
government entities to ensure standardized data collection. My goodness, so you can see this would be
an entire bureaucracy. By the way, you have to fight stigma, Ben. Dr. Neamer says we must
dispel stigma by recommending approaches that promote openness. Now, when there's two million
people going to the food bank, I think Dr. Neamer should take a lab coat and a clipboard,
and just stand in the parking lot and ask about stigma with UFOs.
And then that will be our focus group.
Well, no, because when the aliens do land, you know,
we need to recognize their charter rights to be here.
And we've got to make sure that they feel comfortable
and that they don't feel attacked for being.
Yeah, we don't want to marginalize them.
We don't want to other them.
We want them that when they get here, as Justin Truers,
that Canadian is a Canadian is a Canadian.
even if they come, even if they come from Alpha Centauri.
God bless him, I'm going to get back to the basics in this country
so that we can one day have an economy that works so well that we can look to the stars.
And you said it.
That's what balanced budgets do.
They made us the third country in space after the Soviet Union and the United States.
How's that?
That's what balanced budgets do.
I'm with you.
Yeah, well, it feels like we're trying to just get to the end without doing the hard work to get there, right?
The cleaning up our books, making sure the country runs well, making sure the government's doing everything it can within its means.
So, oh, look at that.
I mean, do you remember back in the day, Tom, when the governments would announce that we had surpluses?
Do you remember the days of surpluses?
It got almost to the point.
I remember Ralph Goodell, asked a liberal finance minister to balance a budget.
Ralph Goodill, in his last budget, proposed dividend checks to everybody.
Everyone sees that now from Trump.
They said, that's crazy talk.
Ralph Goodell has such a fat surplus going into an election.
He wanted to send everybody a check, a prosperity check.
Can you imagine today, isn't that?
I mean, I remember actually feeling like, hey, stop collecting more money than you need.
Like, you clearly, you have a surplus now.
You don't need all that.
Start giving it back, or don't take it in the first place.
That's the world we used to live in.
was the world that was handed, uh, more or less, uh, to Justin Trudeau. And that is not the world
we're living in now. But I want to thank you so much, uh, for being here, my friend, really
appreciate it. Thank you, Ben.

Hey, Mr. Spaceman.
Won't you please take me alone?
I won't do anything wrong.
This is the Ben Mulrooney show.
Welcome back to the Ben Mulroney show.
So apparently the Canadian government has to be in their bonnet now
about looking to the skies to see if we're alone
and the government wants to set up a new bureaucracy
that will field calls from regular everyday Canadians
about UFOs and sightings and that sort of thing.
I frankly think that today is more.
not the day for that discussion, given the fact that we have no money. Simple as that.
There's no money. And to do that is just, do you really think it's going to, whatever the budget is,
it's going to end at that? No, no, no, because a bureaucracy is designed to grow. That's what
bureaucracies do. And so I want to ask you, our listeners, at 416870-6400 or 1-3-225 talk,
do you think we're alone? Do you think we're alone and do you think the government should be taking
this on at this moment? Let's start with Scott. Scott, welcome to the show.
Hey, Ben. It's sarcastic, Scott, by the way.
It's already in place.
Lead to the academics.
The big day theory, there's people in universities that, you know, they get excited
about stuff like this.
How about the government focus on something that's really simple, like clean water for
everybody.
Yeah, no, well, that's the point.
We can't do, we have demonstrated as a nation that we are unable or unwilling to do the
things, the most basic things that this country expects of its government.
Not all of it, but some of it.
And the government's going to get it wrong.
Well, they'll screw it up.
Like they screw everything else up.
They'll get it wrong.
Listen, to be fair, we don't screw everything up.
The government doesn't screw everything up.
But in this time of penny pinching, are we, this just, it just seems like we're
taking something on that, by the way, we don't really, we don't have any experience with
doing it.
The Americans have been taking it seriously for years and they're now only finally doing it in the open publicly.
The conspiracy theorists in a lot of ways were proven right that the American government has been paying very close attention to these things.
And could there have been interactions?
Could there have been communication?
We don't know and we probably won't know for a very, very long time.
But they've been doing that work.
They've been putting in the work.
They have protocols in place.
They have people with that experience.
We've got no one here at the government level who would know what to do.
and so why start it now?
Yeah, and we're going to be taking calls from, you know,
people living in their basement
that have theories.
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
I saw a shiny light, okay.
Okay, Scott, thank you very much for the call.
We appreciate it.
Let's move over to John.
John, you've been researching this for 50 years.
Hi, Ben, how you doing?
I'm doing well, so it's explain.
Have you been doing this as a hobby, as a passion project?
What's your background?
Well, you can call it a passion project, I guess.
To answer your question, we are way behind on this topic, and yes, we should be spending quite a bit of money on this topic.
It's probably one of the most important conversations that we can have in the history of humanity is, and one of the biggest questions are, are we alone, and the answer is we are not alone.
We are definitely not alone.
Most people are blissfully unaware of what's been going on in this topic.
So what's, yeah, so give me, yeah, so tell me after.
studying this for 50 years, and maybe you can give us a little bit of your background in this.
But are you saying we're not alone because, look, I subscribe to the theory that was put forth
in the movie Contact, where they said, you know, if we're the only people out there in the
vast expanse of space, then it's got, then that's just a massive waste of space.
Well, it's just numbers.
Yeah, the numbers.
It's a numbers game.
We're beyond that now.
I mean, governments have already admitted.
UFOs are real. Most people don't understand that Joe Biden signed a whistleblower protection
for in December of 19 or of 2022 in January of 23, David Grush came forward under the whistleblower
protection and spilled the beans. And it was he was in a congressional hearing that we've been
lied to for eight decades. We have recovered craft. We're reverse engineering this craft.
there's a secret Cold War going on because whoever successfully reversing engineers these craft are going to lead the world,
I would invite your listeners to watch a documentary coming out on November 21st called Age of Disclosure.
And it'll be really an eye-opener for most people that aren't familiar with this topic because mainstream media is not allowed to or will not cover this topic.
So it's not the fault of most people.
They don't know what's going on.
Let me ask you a question.
is somebody who's been doing this on
on your own for 50 years
when the chief science officer
in Canada would ask
are we alone?
Are the aliens exist?
And they sort of shrugs and says,
well, maybe.
I mean, I can do that with no domain expertise.
So that tells me that whatever projects
this government has to get into this game,
they're getting in,
they're a day late and a dollar short.
Like just sit this one out.
You've chosen, we as a nation have chosen
not to prioritize this for years
while other countries have been moving ahead.
And to do it today just seems like we'd be lighting money on fire.
What's the point?
Well, I would take issue with that.
She's saying what she has to say because she's only allowed to say so much.
Canada's been involved with the Five-Eye Partners,
reverse engineering, recovered craft for years.
And it's just a big, big, dirty secret that no one's talking about.
But they can't talk about it.
They've lied to us for many, many years.
and the topic is being forced out.
We're going through what's called disclosure now.
They're just trying to figure out how to tell us.
Part of the UAP Disclosure Act involved a seven-year plan
where the information will be slowly released to us
so that it will not adversely impact the markets or society in general.
And we are going to have our eyes opened and realize that we've been
kept in the dark since the 1940s.
Well, I appreciate the call, my friend.
Thank you very much.
And keep it up.
Keep it up.
Thank you.
Mike Droulet, do you think we're alone?
Of course not.
Do you think that we...
I acknowledge that the math dictates
that there's got to be some other extraterrestrial life out there.
I mean, is it the little green man?
Is it any of the things that you see in science fiction?
Who knows?
Do you think...
Okay.
Are we alone is one question.
but do you think that Earth has been visited?
Do you think Earth has been visited by sentient life?
And do you think that we on some level have interacted with them?
Do you believe that governments around the world have recovered these alien craft?
Do you believe that countries are reverse engineering that technology?
I think if there was a mass conspiracy, we'd have known about it
because it's impossible to keep one of these secrets.
Although some of them, I mean, some of the ones within the United States,
some of those secrets have been kept forever.
I mean, like the JFK stuff, whatever it is.
You end up, they do keep some secrets.
So who knows?
That said, it's anybody's guest whether or not.
It's however you feel about in the moment,
whether or not somebody is visited here,
some other alien tech.
Yeah, I think what we've witnessed in the past couple of years
coming out of the United States with all the sightings,
especially by the military.
You can't explain a lot of that stuff.
Can't explain a lot of it.
And, you know, if you subscribe to the belief that, you know,
the simplest answer is probably the most correct,
no matter how outlandish it may seem,
Occam's Razor, then yeah,
in a lot of cases, if you can't explain it with science,
then it's got to be, it's got to be something otherworldly.
Hey, there's a reason the United States had congressional hearings
and that they created their, what is it, the arrow,
which is the all-domain anomaly resolution office in 2022.
There's a reason, because they have a lot of video from,
Navy fighters. And the video shows something, these things flying over the sky. Yep. And
extremely fast speeds, making incredibly sharp turns, which defy logic. And you go, okay,
well, geez, was it some sort of visual impairment? Was it some sort of trick on the video or something
like that? But then the ships go, we have it on radar as well. Yeah. Yeah. So explain that.
Yeah. I mean, look, what I find interesting is we're getting more and more sightings of these
of these UFOs.
You know one thing we haven't seen
is with this
rise in cameras everywhere
and drone technology.
No big foot sightings.
No, seriously, back in the day,
there were big foot sightings all the time.
It was always grainy video
and it was always pixelated pictures
because it was probably somebody in an apesuit.
Or Loch Ness.
No Locke-Nas. No Ogopogo.
None of that stuff.
Yeah, a lot of those are just, I mean, they're...
Yeah.
You know, they are what they are.
Listen, we are not alone.
X-Files got it right.
No, I agree.
I do not think we're alone.
Okay, only ten more presents to wrap.
You're almost at the finish line.
But first...
There.
last one. Enjoy a Coca-Cola for a pause that refreshes.
