Welcome back to the Ben Mulroney show.
And when we talk crime in this country and especially in the greater Toronto area,
there's no better voice to highlight and to bring on to help guide us through some of the ins and outs.
And let's be honest, like some of the things that make.
us angry and scared. Then Ron Chinser, former cop, former conservative candidate and frequent
640 contributor. Ron, welcome back to the show. Thank you, Ben. Thanks for the kind intro as
well. Okay, so let's be honest. And I'll tell our listeners, a lot of people have wondered why we
didn't cover one particular story that happened in the Niagara region and Welland, the story of a
person who broke into someone's house and sexually assaulted a child. I mean, there's no, it makes me
feel gross. And I didn't want to report on it just for the sake of reporting on it, but as this
story has grown and evolved. It becomes even more outrageous. Let's break down. I mean,
you tweeted about this yesterday. Let's talk about what compelled you, what new information
came out that you thought was important to highlight. You know, man, the same reason like you,
Ben, when this came out, man, look, I was told right away when this came out for some people
connected to it. And I put it out there to say, like, look, look what's happened. And then since then
kind of laid low a little bit because it's just gross, right? And look, we're all human beings.
There's only so much somebody can take.
But more and more information has come out to the history of this accused child rapist,
as well as what's currently happening with them based off of their identification.
So I just, it's not about the identification as trans, that's bothersome.
That's the broader issue is, is our current system being utilized and abused by somebody
who understands it, who's victimized kids by raping them?
And are we just bending the knee to this because we don't want to get.
politically involved. It's a little crazy. And that's why I said, look, guys, here's what I heard.
And look, I heard this information about two days ago. And it took me about two days to be like,
you know what, I'm going to put it out there. I think it's an important for public interest.
Yeah. Well, you mentioned that this person who identifies as a trans woman is being granted all the
rights and protocols that are afforded to, you know, biological women in jail. Only female
staff are allowed to strip search this person. And you say that because of this particular thing,
because of this person's self-identification, they are being kept in a special part of the prison.
And you claim it undermines fairness. What do you mean? So, for example, you have, you know,
we got to look at the incident here like in its entirety and the history that we know. So just to
give everybody a background on this guy. His name is Danny Seneca. Yeah. And September 25th,
to 2021, he was accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy during a nighttime incident where he was
at a relative's house. And Danny was a guest. Now, this was not consensual sexual acts. And there's
some information that luckily, this 12-year-old kid fought back using Jiu-Jitsu and pinned Seneca
against the wall until help arrived. Now, he gets charged and arrested. It takes two years to go to
court for sexual interference with a child under 18. He gets convicted. And when he gets convicted,
He spends, he gets sentenced to 18 months, but he only spends 12 months in jail.
And he gets released on parole and his family gets told, listen, here's all the conditions.
And then there's this huge gap there.
And there's a lot of criticism, which is tough to verify.
But it's stuff I've heard from liable sources saying that allegedly his probation officer had lied to the victim's family.
And this guy was living 15 minutes away, which he wasn't supposed to do.
So he's got a history of this and doing it to people that are known to him.
And then what happens on August 31st in, you know, 859, a couple days ago,
is the Niagara Regional Police responded initially comes over as a medical emergency in Welland.
And when they get down there, they discover that there's signs of forced entry and a female child under five.
The information is right now that it's a three-year-old was severely bruised and bloody,
consistent with a violent sexual assault.
Some information has come out that indicated through family and friends and other sources
that allegedly and potentially this child was sexually assaulted with a screwdriver and choked.
and I've received other information that these injuries are so severe that they need surgery.
Luckily, they're stable.
Now, information comes out allegedly that Danny Seneca was somehow connected to this family
and that this victim called him uncle and he gets arrested.
As he gets arrested, this is so heinous.
The entire country starts looking at him and then somebody finds that, oh, on this guy's
Facebook profile, he identifies as trans, which is, again, that's not the issue.
No.
The issue is you have this history.
It's all within three years.
And look, FYI for the general public
who likes to live on unicorns
and think that everything is always feel good.
There is no academic or evidence-based evidence
anywhere that suggests child pedophilia
can be rehabilitated.
I've known that I've been,
I learned that from law and order 30 years ago.
The risk of recidivism for pedophilia
and for sex offenders is higher than almost anything.
It's impossible to man.
And manages the word.
And look, I'm going to say this.
I want everybody to live in however they feel comfortable.
And if somebody identifies as a woman,
I don't have a problem with it.
It doesn't affect my life.
However, however, if you are somebody who exhibits aggression like this
that is typically associated with men.
And if you touch a kid, I don't give a shit.
You do not get to leverage that experience or that womanhood to your benefit in prison.
The prison, I'm sorry, you're a bad dude and I don't care.
You are Danny Seneca, a Seneca, and if the criminal justice system can treat you more harshly as a man,
then guess what?
We're going to opt for the most difficult life possible for you because you are a monster.
And I don't care how you identify.
I identify you as a disgusting piece of trash
that needs to be dealt with as harshly as humanly possible.
Woman or men, don't care how you identify.
You're disgusting and I'm putting you in a separate bucket.
Yeah, you're right.
And, you know, that was part of the decision-making
when I'm like, look, do I want to release this information
I've heard about his experience in jail
where he's utilizing the trans identity
to potentially get put into segregation?
And ultimately, his defense lawyers can ask
for reduced sentencing.
He was kept in harsh conditions.
Yeah, Ron, we need a system that says,
I don't care how you identify.
If you did this crime, this is,
you're in Gen Pop, buddy.
You're in Gen Pop and guess what?
They hate, they hate Kitty Diddlers in Gen Pop,
and you're going to get your ass handed to you every goddamn day.
And I'm sorry, I'm swearing so much, but.
No, listen, you don't have to be sorry about that.
And you're right, because that is true equality.
Equality says it doesn't matter who you are,
what you look like, what you believe in.
If you break the law, you break the law.
And that's why Lady Justice is blind.
but in this case what we're seeing and how people are interpreting this is this guy is playing the
system. He's linked himself to to an ideology and a belief system that he knows is potentially
untouchable. But we have to start challenging these things. When the DNA of this doesn't make
sense. And I don't mean to say that as like a reference to all I'm saying is, you know,
as human beings, we're designed within our DNA and our brain of behavior to survive and to be wary
of threats. We have a guy who's a clear threat and we know he's playing the system. And most people are
just like, guys, what is going on here?
Are we just going to be complicit in this?
Yeah.
And we're not going to push back.
Like, yeah, like, there's the leadership.
We have to say, look, you don't talk to me like I'm an idiot, okay?
I look at this situation and he's a bad person who knows he was doing bad.
He had a high risk of recidivism.
He's been in jail before.
He probably doesn't want to go back.
And I'm saying he, because I don't, I don't care about being polite to this person.
I don't.
You did this?
You don't get the benefit of my, of my willingness.
and my appreciation that life is complex.
And in this case, it's simple.
You ruin this little girl's life.
You destroyed a family.
You tried to do it once before you went to jail.
You realized you don't like it so much.
So you're going to play the system and you're going to tell people that you identify in a different way.
And that's going to get.
I feel bad for it.
Yeah.
And he was convicted.
He was convicted.
He spent 12 months in jail.
He understands this system better than.
He's like, oh, I'd much rather be with women than with the men.
Yeah.
He's a pervert.
Yeah.
He's a pedophile.
And he should be in custody.
And he doesn't get, he doesn't get this blanket washed away by identifying.
You don't get it, man.
Like, you don't.
You want to play, people want to play by the rules.
Want to participate fully in society.
Guess what?
You have my full respect.
My full respect.
You do something like this.
It's the exact idea.
You've made an enemy of me.
You made it.
And I don't treat my enemies well.
No.
And this is the worst case scenario where we have, again, this divide of, who are we protecting
in Canada?
Are we protecting this three-year-old who was, you know, potentially,
completely abused with a screwdriver or need surgery?
Or are we protecting this piece of human garbage?
Yeah.
And Ron Chinser, we're going to leave it there.
Again, I wish we could talk about better things and happier things,
but we're glad to have you on to be at least a little more measured than I am in this case.
Thanks a lot.
Listen, thanks, Ben, for bringing this up as well.
I appreciate it.
All right, we're going to lighten things up.
Toronto's indie race is now Markham's Indy Race.
Let's, I want you to call in.
Give me the pros and the cons.
If you're on Team Toronto, tell me why you hate Markham.
and vice versa. And we're doing this for fun, ladies and gentlemen.
So let's have, let's enjoy ourselves next on the Ben Mulerty show.
Look, stuff is not good out there.
I know that there are people out there who think that I'm over-exaggerating or I'm trying to stir up anger.
Sean Fraser, our minister of justice, poo-poohed Pierre Poliev's,
contribution to the debate
saying he wants to see
people be able to defend their homes
and those within their homes
with whatever force necessary
including and up to using lethal force
essentially it's the castle doctor
Sean Fraser poo poohed that
and said that's called it a slogan
and said that we don't need that
this isn't the Wild West, it's Canada
for context since Sean Fraser
made that put out that
I believe inappropriate
insensitive tone deaf tweet
the following incidents have occurred
and this is just in our area
a shootout in Hamilton with over 80 rounds fired
three injured a father and Vaughn executed
a father and Vaughn executed in front of his wife and children
a child under five assaulted in Welland
and we're going to get into that one
a man charged with attempted murder for trying to burn
three people alive in Windsor a 12 year old boy charged with attempted murder
in Markham an 11 year old girl murdered and her four family members
in critical condition from an arson attack
A man shot and a woman kidnapped during a home invasion in Markham.
A man and woman shot in Mississauga, a shootout in front of a Toronto high school with two innocent bystanders hit.
That is since we were told this isn't the Wild West.
And so I want to hear from you and tell me, as this, don't forget, the police chief in Markham said, just comply.
Just comply.
And if we're relying on people to defend themselves, then we've lost.
And what I'm saying is wave the white flag man.
we've lost it's time to reset it's time to reload it's time to change the laws change the
attitudes and change this country for the better all right let's welcome who we're going to start
with rob rob welcome the ben mulrooney show happy thursday good morning ben thanks for taking my
call absolutely all i want to say is that i agree with you 100% anyone that tries to break into my
property um there i'll tell you right now they're not going to be walking out or
breeding. No. Because at the end of the day, it's them or me. It's them or my family. Yeah. So I'm going
to pick my family every time. And let me tell you that people that think that you're bringing up
anger and any, we as friends and relatives and family getting together, this is high on the
discussion list. Yeah. Yeah. Because what you're talking about now, the news is talking about it now
a nauseam. I shouldn't say a nauseam, but
they're talking about it.
Rob, just for clarity,
we have a three-hour show here.
We can't keep up
with the pace. We wake up every day,
and there are too many of these
stories to talk about, because we
don't want to just gloss over them,
although, to make a point,
I listed them all off in bullet
point form, but there are stories. We get
so many people writing in, why didn't you talk about
this thing? Why didn't you talk about this crime?
Why didn't you talk about this child victim?
Why didn't you talk about this break in?
Because we can't do them justice.
I also want to say is that all due respect to that, chief,
they're just making puppet statements, okay?
The liberals want these things, I hate to say it, to occur
because then it takes away from other important matters like the debts
and where they're spending money.
Carney, I heard this morning on the Brady show.
All he wants to talk about are tariffs, tariffs, tariffs.
That got him in, and that's all he's going to.
talk about. So as long as people
are killing each other with guns
and home invasions, I'm sorry to
say, he is smiling. Him and the
liberals are smiling. Well, I listen,
Rob, thank you very much for your call. I am
not going to go so far. I'm not going to go anywhere
near the suggestion
that any politician in
Ottawa is smiling over anything
going on right now. Absolutely not.
I believe everybody
up into and including
the Liberal Party of Canada and their members of parliament
are good and honorable people.
and they just see things differently and their priorities are different.
I would never suggest that and I don't want that to be something that permeates my show in any way.
George, welcome to the show.
You know, I want to start off to say, I agree with the police chief.
Maybe his message is not what people may hear during this time when that father lost his life.
But I'll tell you why.
If you listen to his speech, he said for most people.
Now, unless most people out there, they especially trade and self-defense.
martial arts, some sort that we have, like myself, I have for 25 years.
And when you train students, you don't train students to run at a gun from across the room.
You got to get close.
You've got to be calm, collective.
Get close to the weapon.
There's a way to do things.
So when the police chief says you've got a better chance to survive it by complying,
maybe you don't like the word comply.
You know, that's fourth father.
Listen, one thing, the four father had that gun to put his child's head.
Panic, fear.
You don't know what you're doing.
Half the people can't even cut a tomato in their kitchen using the night.
Listen, I'm not cutting you off.
We're going to keep talking.
But look, I get it.
And I'm glad that he's going to be on Alex Pearson's show after this one where hopefully he can explain, expand, maybe walk back certain parts of it.
It doesn't, like, I get it.
I said off the top of the show, there are almost everything in my life is replaceable.
So, of course, if somebody comes at me with ill intent and violence and an ability to carry out those threats,
of course, I can give them whatever they want.
None of that stuff matters compared to the life that I'm leading and the value that that has to me.
I get that.
But we're not living in a world where they're just coming after our wallets on the streets anymore.
We're not coming at, we're living in a different time where they are invading our property
and they are making people feel unsafe at home.
I don't know how I would react to that.
And actually, no, I do know.
I would react by defending my family, including with my own life.
George, last word to you, George.
Well, you know, I'm pretty sure the family wants a live hero within the dead hero.
No, but my point is, my point is, I don't, I am not going to be thinking rationally.
I am going to go into defense mode of my family.
I know that.
I'm a dad now.
If you're not specially trained and you're calm, you're going to die.
Well, you know, you know, but what my point is, you know what would solve this, George.
There's no difference to someone take your wallet in front of your house or in your house.
If they wake me up in the dead of night.
Unless you're specially trained.
I'm not saying not to fight for your kids or you've got to know what you're doing.
George, I appreciate it when you're in panic.
George, I appreciate.
Thank you very much.
And look, I don't know what to tell you.
You come wake me up in the middle of the night and start screaming and breaking stuff in my house.
I'm not thinking rationally.
You cannot expect me to think rationally.
And I won't think rationally.
I will think, I will see red.
and I will see White.
Let's welcome Mike.
Mike, welcome the show.
All hail the Mulroney majority, as we used to call it in my house.
Pretty soon, buddy, you're going to follow the steps and have the Mulroney majority in the ratings.
Thank you very much.
I'm glad you stuck with me being in media because me in government, that wouldn't help anybody.
We, oh, buddy.
That's like having me on a TV show.
I got a face for radio.
My grandma told me.
All right.
Where do you land on this debate?
So, you know, we grew up, obviously, I remember the entirety of your father's reign.
I know the entire 1970s.
So we were led to believe we pay our taxes, we have protection by the police services.
That's part of what being Canadians all about and having this lovely, wonderful country.
But these days, it's turned out to be that the government's found a way to suck and blow at the same time.
They say you're only allowed to respond in a defensive posture commensurate with the aggression.
Okay, they're coming with a gun.
Are we not allowed to shoot them?
They want to shoot at us?
We're not allowed to shoot back.
We have to just acquiesce to the law and say, no.
We can offer commensurate defense up until it aggravatedly assaults them.
No, listen, the best thing for a criminal to do, if they walk into my house with a gun, and I have a gun,
if they really want to make sure that everything goes in their direction, all they got to do is turn around and take a bullet in the back.
They don't have to be leaving.
Just turn around, take a bullet in the back.
and when the cops come to investigate,
it's going to look like I shot him in the back
as he was escaping,
and I will be the one going to jail.
They say the conversation cures everything.
All that person asks to do is walk in and say,
I have a gun.
I will execute people.
If you don't give me everything I asked for,
just get it and line it up,
and I will leave and you'll all be safe.
And then, you know, I would love to be able to respond.
There you go.
I too have a gun.
I too have a gun.
And if you don't leave right now,
I'm going to shoot you in the face.
As I told Mike there
These days I have a checklist
It's a simple checklist
Somebody breaks into the house
As your last caller
I'm not worried about somebody
Coming in my house
They should be worried
I have
I have a terrible shovel
A bag of lie
And a map to the local
The local swamp
And they'll never do that person again
We're gonna leave it there
And we only got time for one more
Ian very very quickly
Tell me your thoughts
Yeah I think the
The statement by both Sean Fraser
And the police chief
is it admission that they can't protect us.
And if we try to protect ourselves and something goes wrong,
either with the guy in Lindsay,
where the guy that came in.
Oh, yeah, we're talking about that later.
Or with this gentleman trying to protect his daughter.
Instead of it being a back page story of a house got robbed,
it's a front page story that we can't protect you.
And it's, I don't blame the cops.
because they arrest them, they get out.
It's a round and round situation.
It is.
Yeah, we're going to leave it there.
Thank you very much for your call.
And we're going to keep this conversation going after the break,
a twist to one of the horrible crimes committed in recent days that we didn't see coming.
Welcome back to the Ben Mulberry.

The risk of recidivism for pedophilia and for sex offenders is higher than almost anything.
It's impossible to manage, and manages the word.
And look, I'm going to say this.
I want everybody to live in however they feel comfortable.
And if somebody identifies as a woman, like I don't, I don't have a problem with it.
It doesn't affect my life.
However, if you are somebody who exhibits aggression like this that is typically associated with men,
and if you touch a kid, I don't give a shit.
You do not get to leverage that experience or that womanhood to your benefit in prison.
The prison, I'm sorry, you're a bad dude and I don't care.
You are Danny Seneca, a Seneca, and if the criminal justice system can treat you more harshly as a man, then guess what?
We're going to opt for the most difficult life possible for you because you are a monster.
And I don't care how you identify.
I identify you as a disgusting piece of trash that needs to be dealt with as harsh as harshly as harshly as humanly possible.
Woman or men, don't care how you identify.
You're disgusting.
putting you in a separate bucket.
Yeah, you're right. And, you know, that was part of the decision making when I'm like,
look, do I want to release this information I've heard about his experience in jail where he's
utilizing the trans identity to potentially get put into segregation?
And ultimately, his defense lawyers can ask for reduced sentencing. He was kept in harsh
conditions. Yeah, Ron, we need a system that says, I don't care how you identify.
If you did this crime, this is, you're in gen pop, buddy. You're in gen pop. And guess what?
They hate, they hate, uh, kitty didlers in.
in Gen Pop, and you're going to get your ass handed to you every goddamn day.
And I'm sorry, I'm swearing so much, but...
No, listen, you don't have to be sorry about that.
And you're right, because that is true equality.
Equality says it doesn't matter who you are, what you look like, what you believe in.
If you break the law, you break the law.
And that's why Lady Justice is blind.
But in this case, what we're seeing and how people are interpreting this is this guy
is playing the system.
He's linked himself to an ideology and a belief system that he knows is potentially untouchable.
But we have to start challenging these things.
Yeah.
when the DNA of this doesn't make sense.
And I don't mean to say that as like a reference to all I'm saying is, you know, as human
beings, we're designed within our DNA and our brain of behavior to survive and to be
wary of threats.
We have a guy who's a clear threat and we know he's playing the system and most people
are just like, guys, what is going on here?
Are we just going to be complicit in this?
Yeah.
And we're not going to push back.
Like, yeah.
Like, we have to say, look, you don't talk to me like I'm an idiot.
Okay.
I look at this situation and he's a bad person.
who knows he was doing bad, he had a high risk of recidivism, he's been in jail before,
he probably doesn't want to go back. And I'm saying he, because at this point, I don't
care about being polite to this person. I don't. You did this? You don't get the benefit of my
willingness and my appreciation that life is complex. In this case, it's simple. You ruin this little
girl's life. You destroyed a family. You tried to do it once before. You went to jail. You
realized you don't like it so much. So you're going to play the system and you're going to tell people
that you identify in a different way.
And that's going to get...
He was convicted.
Yeah, and he was convicted.
He was convicted.
He spent 12 months in jail.
He understands this system better than...
He's like, oh, I'd much rather be with women than with the men.
He's a pervert.
He's a pedophile and he should be in custody.
And he doesn't get...
He doesn't get this blanket washed away by identifying...
You don't get it, man.
Like, you don't.
You want to play...
People want to play by the rules.
Want to participate fully in society.
Guess what?
You have my full respect.
My full respect.
You do something like this.
It's the exact.
you've made an enemy of me. You made it. And I don't treat my enemies well. No. And this is the worst
case scenario where we have, again, this divide of who are we protecting in Canada? Are we protecting
this three-year-old who was, you know, potentially completely abused with a screwdriver and
surgery? Or are we protecting this piece of human garbage? Yeah. And Ron Chinser, we're going to
leave it there. Again, I wish we could talk about better things and happier things, but we're glad to
have you on to be at least a little more measured than I am in this case. Thanks a lot.
Listen, thanks, Ben, for bringing this up as well. I appreciate it.
