Starting point is 00:00:00 This podcast is brought to you by the National Payroll Institute, the leader for the payroll profession in Canada, setting the standard of professional excellence, delivering critical expertise, and providing resources that over 45,000 payroll professionals rely on. All right. You know how I've told you that when you behave in insane ways, insane things happen, and if you board the crazy train, it's going to, eventually take you to Crazy Town. Welcome to Crazy Town, right? We've been talking for so long about the well-being and the dignity of drug addicts and it is incumbent upon society to remove the stigma so that they can live with dignity. And we have been bending over backwards to make it easier for people who are suffering with the weight of addiction on their shoulders. We are making it easier for them to add to that burden instead of doing what we should do,
Starting point is 00:01:29 which is throw as much money as we can at a system that will help get them off drugs. And so when we found out last weekend, Michelle Ferreari brought this to our attention, there is a website out there called, I mean, I think it's Foucq Rehavis. dot is that sells drugs, sells drugs through the mail. And here's from their website and listen to the language and ask yourself, does this sound like the progressive left? At FACUC reality, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our customers by lab testing all of our product.
Starting point is 00:02:06 We believe that Canadians deserve access to safe, high-quality drugs. We're committed to providing outstanding products accompanied by credible customer service. That's the language that our politicians have been using to justify quote unquote safe supply. This is where it goes. This is entrepreneurs doing it better, I guess. And so to talk about this, and you got to see this website, it's just bananas. We're joined by Sondren Fannera. He's got a YouTube channel, Life with Sondren.
Starting point is 00:02:37 He's a great friend of the show. Sondren, welcome to the show. Thanks for having me. And happy belated birthday. No, it's today. It's today. But thank you. Oh, it's today. Happy birthday. Thank you very much. Okay, so this is, like I said, I believe this is an extension of the bananas policies that the government, that governments across Canada have been endorsing and implementing. And it's just, it's the, it's done by business now, by entrepreneurs. 100%. And it's funny, because it is delivered by Canada posts. They show on their website to give you delivery times.
Starting point is 00:03:11 And honestly, you really look at it and you just think, wow, you can't believe this is happening. They are putting cocaine, ketamine, MDMA, men's health drugs, study drugs. So they're targeting children, by the way, here in kids, study drugs, Xanax, 2CB, DMT, LSD, magic mushrooms, all here. And they advertise it like it's skittal flavored, mango tango, strawberry rush, all of this stuff. And they will get it shipped to you. You can have it in your house two to four business days through Canada Post. Yeah, and they're marketing hard drugs as, quote, premium and lab tested. So unsafe drugs.
Starting point is 00:03:47 And wasn't there a story last week of a guy who OD'd on one of these things that was supposedly a safe lab tested drug? 100%. There was. And the problem is you can't trust any of this, obviously, because this is an illicit business doing this, right? You can't judge any of this. Sondran, it looks legit. I mean, you got to be pretty brazen to break the law. not on the dark web, but on just the regular worldwide web, and put that out there.
Starting point is 00:04:16 I mean, how can something like this even stay up? I mean, I would have thought the second that people heard about this last week because of the bad news, they would have shut down, but they're still operating. They're still operating. I sent an email to my local police about it to inform them about this. They're still operating. They're operating within Canada Post. So, Ben, I had four people just from the,
Starting point is 00:04:39 GTA reach out to me to confirm what they received was, which is, that's even crazier. They received mailers inside a black, what looks like a small garbage bag with the promotional pamphlet inside of it. And some of those mailers, I'm not joking you, Ben, have a promotional sample pack of cocaine inside of it. No way. This is not a joke. Ben, it is not a joke.
Starting point is 00:05:03 They're sending cocaine out in the mail to anybody. They're sending it out a cell. small little sample. I think it was 0.25 grams. I'm sending the picture to Mike right now. Wow. I mean, this is, this is crazy. But like I said, this is where it goes. Okay. But if I'm, let's say I want to buy some drugs and I go to this website. Like, it feels to me like I'm putting myself in a pretty like a big liability space by by setting up a pro. profile with these guys who would do something like this? Well, exactly. And they know that. So what they're doing is if you go on the website, they're offering a 20% discount. If you use Bitcoin or Ethereum, et cetera, but they also take,
Starting point is 00:05:52 you know, transfers of other kinds. And there is a risk to that. You're giving your personal information, whether that's your ID or email address to these people that you do not know, what they're intense or. You don't know the type of people they are to get these drugs that, again, are advertised in a lot of this case, I look at it. students. I'm looking at this. FACUC reality, cocaine, high heat, free sample. And there's a, I guess there's some sort of like promotional thing that might be a beer cozy that looks like straight out of Compton, but it says straight out of cocaine. Uh, you're right. Yeah. My God. This is, this is absurd. So what can the cops do? Like, what can we do?
Starting point is 00:06:34 And that's a great question because I just showed you another one. It comes in this black sample, like it comes to some black package, right? A discreet black package with postage stamps. So obviously whoever's doing it, they're buying the stamps. And they're sending them to people. So I don't know what we need to do, but we got to figure this out. How can people be shipping hard illicit drugs in Arcanda postmail to people en masse? Now, what I can tell you is anecdotally, four people from the GTA sent this to me.
Starting point is 00:07:04 Do I know how relevant this is? I do not. but the fact that four people reached out and they said they know others that got it within their apartment complex as an example tells me enough like that's already too much yeah this is
Starting point is 00:07:16 I just I've I'm I'm gobsmacked I'm my my my my my my Junie chin has hit the floor I my chin is down on the ground and you know what it just tells you it just tells you like they don't care for the consequences there
Starting point is 00:07:32 it's so brazen it's so out there it's a public website and there's still up even after all of this kind of awareness. But this is what we're living in. But Sondred, let me just like push back for a second. They're just following the lead set by certain politicians. They're not, they are, they're just building a better mouse trap. That's it.
Starting point is 00:07:54 Like they. Yeah, essentially, you're right. I'm staring, I'm staring at a bag that we've had in this office for months. And it is, it is the city of Toronto. It's a city, Mike, it's a city of Toronto thing, right? It's the city of Toronto free crack pipe and meth pipe and like cocaine straw and all this helpful, helpful information on how to use these things. We use that as a prize for a nonsense thing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:23 Your safer crystal meth kit includes ballpipes and piece of foil, alcohol swabs, condoms. Oh, right. Yeah, because I guess when you do crystal meth, you want to have sex. And so it makes sense. Yeah, so pack it. of loop because crystal meth users can be dehydrated. And if you have sex, use lots of loop. Okay, so all they're doing is closing the loop.
Starting point is 00:08:48 And so, yes, I think these people are terrible people, but they're following our leaders. And this is exactly why we need to continue to talk about this, because to me, this is just totally unacceptable. I can't believe we've come to this point where not only do our leaders, yes, they are talking about these policies and they're enacting these policies that are affecting Canadians every day today. But then private, illicit business, quote unquote, is actually overthrowing them and providing what looks like a better service. Yeah. You know, it shows on their website.
Starting point is 00:09:21 Over 15,000 satisfied customers, four-day delivery average in Canada over 100 products on their website to purchase. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Hey, do me a favor. Can you stick around? Because I'd love for you to stick around and take some calls with me because I'm sure people would love to hear your thoughts on this as well. Let's do it. All right.
Starting point is 00:09:38 Don't go anywhere. Sondren's going to stick around. And when we come back from the break, we want to hear from you, Toronto. What do you think of this entrepreneurial, over through the mail, online drug service? Well, we are sticking with our guest to Sondarin is going to stick around. We've been talking about this website that allows you to purchase all sorts of illicit hard drugs through the mail. You purchase them online. You use a Bitcoin if you want.
Starting point is 00:10:17 and it gets sent to you through Canada Post. And Sondren, our first call is going to blow your mind. Please welcome Paul to the conversation. Paul, you are a satisfied customer. Oh, Ben, yeah. Pleasure to speak with you. Ben, I've got to say, I've been, I was told Mike. Like, I've been struggling or dealing with a day for a while.
Starting point is 00:10:40 And, you know, it's always like a party thing. But out of all the times I've ever used cocaine, this time that I got it in the last week, I could tell right away it was the best quality that I've ever had in my entire life. It's not even close. Like normally when you pick something like this from a dealer in a parking lot in a car or late at night, you get it and you use it. And like immediately your whole body is like taken over.
Starting point is 00:11:15 You can't stop doing it. You can't sleep. You want more. And this time, it's like you can do a little and you don't need to do anymore. It's not even like it doesn't like, it doesn't take you over. Well, okay. Paul, Elizabeth, first of all, thank you so much for calling. I think this is a side of the story that I didn't even think we would get.
Starting point is 00:11:38 And you're offering real insights. I'm going to ask you one quick question. And I'm going to pass the microphone to Sondering because I'm sure he's got some follow-ups as well. You said that you've been struggling with addiction for years. Have you sought out treatment? Have you tried to get help? And what was, like, what was that journey like? So I went to a rehab facility for a month in 2021.
Starting point is 00:12:07 It was a fantastic month. It was highly spiritual. I recommend to anybody. It was expensive, but it was worth it. The problem is when you get out. When you get out, you know, they... The supports aren't there. Well, not even that.
Starting point is 00:12:30 Like, I got into the 12 steps, and I did that whole thing. But the problem is, is I did not like the AA model. It's too cultish for me. Yep. And I did not I just I had too much going on and I couldn't fulfill my my expectation once you're done the 11 step to go on to the 12th step to mentor others so so Paul you've relapsed I just have to ask this
Starting point is 00:12:59 it's yes the problem is don't aren't you not scared for your life because you don't know who's actually you don't know if they're putting fentanyl in these substances to make them more potent because they're trying to optimize profit Like, you know, are you not concerned that your life is at risk beyond just using the cocaine, but in terms of substances that you may not be buying and that they may be lacing inside of it? Yeah, the concern for me was more surrounding buying from people, dealers, quote unquote dealers, who I have no idea where they're getting theirs from. I know that it's cut because you can tell by the way that it feels and you feel as soon as you do it.
Starting point is 00:13:46 Right? Like there's instant pain in your nose. There's nosebleeds. There's sinus collapse. There's all kinds of things that happen. The fact that you get it and you start taking it and you can't stop for like 48 hours, you'll literally get in your car and go get more at 5 in the morning on a Sunday morning. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:14:06 Like all of that stuff is part and parcel. and that is indicative of what is being put in there. Yeah. So you finished out of rehab, though. Do you think that this is appropriate for, let's say, others who are trying to fight against using these drugs? Because, you know, I don't want you to get through any situation where your life is at risk. Is this not just making it worse for the people that are fighting to get out of their addiction to these hard illicit drugs that could take their lives away, right? Is it the opposite?
Starting point is 00:14:33 Is it not the opposite of what we should be doing for those that are trying to fight out of this addiction? It's a bit of a 22, Sondra, I must say, you are right. Like, obviously, once you go to rehab, you don't want to relapse. But the relapse rate is very high. And it's like if there is a, if there is a, if there's some sort of a method or a control, a lab tested control, quote unquote again, that is going to ensure that it's what it is. that you're buying, they're actually expecting, then it's weird, right? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:15:15 I don't know the answer. I definitely know. It's like if you're going to relapse, you want to relapse on stuff that's actually quality rather than stuff that's, you know, what the government would call that harm reduction. And like that's,
Starting point is 00:15:29 that's what they would call this. But let me, I'm actually also curious, Paul, and honestly, thank you for calling. But tell me this. like what was the process like
Starting point is 00:15:40 did you use Bitcoin and are you not worried about the police coming to find you are you not worried that your name's on a list somewhere I mean I have a smartphone so my name is everywhere anyway right like I have a business and my business number only gets robot
Starting point is 00:15:58 calls now right nobody calls shop to for me it's always robots everybody calls my cell phone if they want me yeah right So, no, I'm not really worried about that. And even the purchasing process.
Starting point is 00:16:14 It's all, it's all too, it's not, it's not like your, I don't even know how to explain it. It's just, it's anonymous. Yeah. It's the best way I could say, do you know what you mean? Well, Paul, listen, I want to thank you for calling. I honestly, I think you've shown us a side of this. I did not expect to talk to a customer, but I do want to say one thing, sir. Like I want to thank you for calling.
Starting point is 00:16:39 But, you know, recovery is as, as it's sort of like to use the imagery of Jerry Seinfeld. It's like trying to push over a Coke machine. You got to rock it back and forth a few times before it goes over. You're not going to be, you might not be successful the first time. But I do hope you go back to that. I do hope that you realize that life, that your life can be better. Your life can be fuller and richer. And I appreciate that, you know,
Starting point is 00:17:05 It's not, you're not at the end of your journey. And I hope that you know that there's more, there's more to your story. I appreciate that, Ben. I must say, my life's pretty good. I'm not, it's not as bad as it was before I rehab. There's all, there is a level of restraint now because of that, because of that one month that I spent in there. I do have tools. I do meditate.
Starting point is 00:17:29 I have all, you know, I exercise. I do all that stuff. I eat exceedingly well. I work really hard. So it's like it's a, once again, a crime reduction strategy. And, you know, with all the stuff that's going on in the world and with all the ridiculous politics and stuff in this country, I must say to be able to take your mind off everything for a little while is helpful as well.
Starting point is 00:17:57 Yeah. Well, I thank you for the call. I thank you for sharing. I thank you for being honest. And I hope you're safe. And I hope that ultimately you'll get past this part and you'll be able to have a life free of addiction. But thank you very much, Paul. I appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:18:16 Thank you, Ben. Thanks. Yeah. Yeah. And look, Sondred, like, that was a really interesting call. Yeah, I can't believe it. Well, we're straight from a customer. See, like, this is how much reach they've already gotten, right?
Starting point is 00:18:30 And look, and look, I appreciate what he's saying. It's like, look, if you're buying off a deal. dealer on the street, you don't know what he's putting in it either. So this, that's right. So when people were going after these guys for, there's lots of reason to go after these guys, but to say, oh, nobody knows if it's lab tested. Okay, well, yeah, well, nobody knows if that stuff they're buying on the streets lab tested either. It's sort of six or one.
Starting point is 00:18:49 That's right. Quite literally pick your poison. But the fact that, that Paul, like, was talking about using the language, again, of of what the government has set up. Like this is, this is, I'd rather to get it from these guys than from somebody. That's harm reduction. That is harm reduction.
Starting point is 00:19:12 The system is fully mature now. It's fully mature. We have a burgeoning entrepreneurial class. And so, like, that's, that's where we are. I, this is, it's not a good thing, but I understand. It's, it's, I understand. And I'm just honestly. My mind is blown away that this is what it's come to now.
Starting point is 00:19:36 Yeah. Where we have done this. This is the government policy. And now entrepreneurs are taking advantage. And we have cocaine, MDMA being slipped through Canada Post in packages. Yeah. This is happening now in this country. Well, let me tell you, if all of a sudden, if all of a sudden,
Starting point is 00:19:51 a Canada Post posts massive quarterly gains, I think we'll know why. Oh, God. There we go. I think we had time for one more call. Let's talk to Daryl. Daryl, welcome. Hey, guys. Happy birthday, Ben.
Starting point is 00:20:09 Well, thank you very much. Going to Paul, hopefully he gets through what he needs to get through. Yeah. But he brought up a point where he's already had issues in the past. And I think what you guys are saying, and I disagree with this company sending out the free samples, because if there's somebody that has not being introduced to this product, that could start another addiction.
Starting point is 00:20:34 Yeah. Oh, yeah. 100%. And it's just targeted to, like, I'd say, like more youth, right? Because they're using like skittles and all this other stuff. And can you imagine if you're a family and I don't go open all of my mail all the time, I may leave it and there's a package. Imagine your son or daughter opens this package to read this pamphlin.
Starting point is 00:20:52 They see a sample of cocaine inside of the package. But guys, guys, I hate to be the guy who keeps doing this. But this is the end result of these government policy. Because what are these guys doing? They're destigmatizing drug use. They're normalizing drug use. That is what these people have been trying to do for years. So when I see these guys do it, this is the end result of years of these sorts of policies
Starting point is 00:21:18 and this sort of thinking. Of course I want this thing to be shut down. But do I understand why it exists? Yeah. And we can look at years of insane drug policy for this. This is the, like I said, this is the end. This is the last station on the crazy train. Well, here's another good point.
Starting point is 00:21:39 The government actually owns Canada Post, and so they're actually letting it happen, yet there's laws against this type of issue. Yeah, 100%. It's been how many days now, it's been a couple days. It's gotten over a million views across, I know Michelle Ferrears and my channels, and nothing's done right now. Right now you can still get your MDMA and cocaine, right through Canada Post in four days.
Starting point is 00:22:03 Yeah, there we go. Gentlemen, thank you very much. Daryl, thank you so much. Sondren, I really appreciate your time. Thanks for sticking around, taking these calls with me. I really appreciate that too. And we'll keep an eye on this website and see how much longer it's going to be up for.
Starting point is 00:22:15 You would think that with this amount of attention, they might go away, but not in Canada in 2026. Sondren, thanks so much. Thanks. Thanks. Maybe they have a birthday special, Ben. Sign up. Take care, brother. soon. All right, bye. This winter on Global.
Starting point is 00:22:48 Have you ever told a lie? Are you serious? Wasn't lying part of the job description of CIA? On executive producer Dick Wolfe and the team behind FBI. New partner? He can be a little by the book. June, how much used to me alive, but you're really not used to me dead? I never knew you cared.
Starting point is 00:23:01 Two perspectives, one mission. You guys work in the open. We work in the shadows. Starring Tom Ellis and Nick Gelfis. Nice work, partner. CIA. All new Mondays at 10 on Global and stream on Stack TV. You know.
