Today is Friday, February 3rd, 2023, and Chinese spy balloon has been hovering over our nuclear silos here in America and breaking. Joe Biden has officially surrendered to his masters in communist China. He refuses to shoot down this enemy aircraft. And the U.S. military has known about this for a week. Huh? Now, it's hovering over a state, Montana currently, that has multiple Air Force bases and multiple nuclear silos. The vast majority of America's nukes are in the center of the country, inside of the northern plain states. And these nuclear weapons, of course, are highly secretive. They're the bases and where they are located is highly secretive. Their operations are highly

secretive. And this balloon is hovering right over them. What the hell is going on? Joe Biden is refusing to shoot this thing down. And we know why, because Joe Biden is owned, operated, controlled by the communist Chinese. And we are going to detail all of that today. And of course, Ryan Zinke will be joining us, the only sole congressman from Montana served in the Trump administration. The U.S. military scrambled F-22 fighter jets Wednesday and closed the Billings, Montana airport for two hours, ordering a ground stoppage in case the president gave an order to shoot the balloon down. The president was briefed by his national security team about his options. President Biden was advised by his military chiefs about the possibility for civilian casualties if they were to shoot the balloon down over the continental U.S.

Adding the surveillance balloon does not provide the Chinese government with more intelligence than it can glean from existing low-orbit satellites. U.S. officials tell me they have mitigated the ability for this balloon to survey any sensitive sites, blocking it from doing so, and that they are learning a lot by monitoring the balloon. Dana? Jennifer, a lot of people are wondering why the administration wouldn't have just shot it out of the sky immediately, especially if it was over uninhabited mountainous areas in Montana. Is there any good reason for that? I think what, from the discussions that I've had, is that there is no way, given the size of this thing, the potential debris field, that even in areas that you think are uninhabited, it wasn't clear that they could take a shot and avoid any civilian casualties.

And so I think that is the consideration. They have not ruled out shooting it down eventually. But there are other ways that they may be able to deal with it. They have other options. Oh, interesting. Really funny how the U.S. government can go quarantine you or can move you about or can declare that no people can go running or jogging on the beaches during COVID. But then suddenly when they need to shoot down a balloon, it's like, oh, we can't tell people where to go. Just say, hey, nobody goes into this national park see ya would you be okay if the

government shot down an enemy aircraft that was spying on our nation's nuclear secrets and it just so happened to fall onto the playground uh ladies and gentlemen in your home like i'm sorry like i would be okay if the government's like hey hey, listen, there's enemy aircraft over Tampa. messages between a senior professor at Penn's International Relations Department to Naomi Biden, that would be Hunter Biden's very young daughter. The message from the professor begins this way, quote, Dear Naomi, I'm writing you tonight to invite you to take part in a major conference in China at the end of March. I've been asked to help recruit a prominent young leader. They, the Chinese government, will fly you business class and of course provide all of your accommodations. I don't think it would surprise you they are interested in you thanks to your family name. I would not take offense at that. It is truly the Chinese way. And frankly, better you than that dolt, Tiffany Trump. If you're interested, can you send me your CV and or a bio? I would forward

that and you could expect an official invitation from Li Baodong, the secretary general of the forum, end quote. Pretty remarkable. As far as we know, that has not been previously reported. So here you have an employee of the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League school, sending an invitation apparently on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party to recruit Joe Biden's granddaughter for an influence operation, saying that she'd be flown to Beijing and stay in Chinese government controlled accommodation. Why is that not the biggest story on earth right now? That the dead to rights letter of the Chinese Communist Party. Making an asset out of Joe Biden's granddaughter.

We have that dead to rights. And we know exactly what the Chinese government was paying for inside of the Penn Biden Center, where the initial tranche of classified documents pursuant to China. As far as I know, the government of China is quite stingy, quite mean. They don't give people a ton of money for nothing. Fifty four million in Chinese gifts donated to the U.P.N. home of the Biden Center. Article after article. The president of the University of Pennsylvania, Amy Gutmann, questioned about

Chinese donations. Well, this is strange. University of Pennsylvania can't explain mystery Chinese donations. This is strange. U.P.N. struggles to explain three millions in donations from Hong Kong Shell Company. These aren't even real companies. Ladies and gentlemen. So what's going on? What's happening here? You are able to see directly what the Chinese are paying for when you go back through the histories of the Biden family with the Chinese, Hunter Biden used your tax dollars. And it is very simple. Was paying for $50,000 a month in rent, a place called the House of Sweden in Washington, D.C.

for his partnership with CEFC. CEFC is a Chinese energy company, China Energy Company. That's what it stands for. This is, ladies and gentlemen, the company that the Bidens decided to sell out American natural resources to the Chinese directly. Now, who were who are the people involved in all of this? This is where it gets really, really fascinating for the Bidens. The people involved in this deal and the reason that this deal fell apart is that Patrick Ho, who is one of the Chinese partners in all of this, who Hunter Biden acted as his lawyer, represented him. This man was prosecuted by our own Justice Department for being a nefarious arms dealer. This man is called in Hunter Biden's laptop, the spy chief of China.

So the Bidens were literally getting bags of cash from the spy chief of China. Secretly stashing away for his own private use and probably his own private profit. Classified documents pursuant the Chinese watch. Three sources tell CBS News the classified documents were discovered in this building about a mile from the White House at the offices of the

Penn Biden Center, a foreign policy research institute set up after President Biden left the vice presidency. According to a source familiar with the matter, the classified documents are small in number and were found in November in a box among unclassified material. Sources would not characterize how sensitive the documents are. Responding to requests from CBS News, the White House counsel said that on November 2nd of last year, before the midterm elections, lawyers for President Biden were cleaning out office space at the center. When they discovered the documents marked classified in a locked closet, they stopped the work and contacted the White House. White House lawyers then reached out to the National Archives, which is responsible for

the records. The archives in turn contacted the Department of Justice. Attorney General Merrick Garland then tasked the U.S. attorney in Chicago, John Lausch, a Trump appointee, with determining what is in the documents and how they arrived at the Penn Biden Center. January 9th, CBS finally reports first that the U.S. attorney is investigating classified documents stowed away in Biden's private office. January 9th, November, January 9th. Biden continues to conceal the fact that he knows that

they found multiple tranches of classified documents. Watch him lie. People know I take classified documents, classified information seriously. When my lawyers were clearing out my office at the University of Pennsylvania, they set up an office for me, secure office in the Capitol, when I, the four years after being vice president, I was a professor at Penn, they found some documents in a box, you know, locked cabinet, or at least a closet. And as soon as they did, they realized there were several classified documents in that box. And they did what they should have done. They immediately called the archives, immediately called the archives, turned them over to the archives. And I was briefed about this discovery and surprised to learn that there were any government records that were taken there

to that office. But I don't know what's in the documents. I don't know what's in the document. I was surprised. It was just one, one box, ladies and gentlemen. Listen to him lie. The final blow, ladies and gentlemen, coming this week, February 1st, 2023, federal investigators raid Joe Biden's Rehoboth home and steal, take his private notes. What's that all about? They're confiscating his private notes, you see, because they know something that you and I also know, that Joe Biden was selling out top secret intelligence

and classified information to the highest bidder. He was doing this for the benefit of China. We've shown you the 22 point email from Hunter Biden on his laptop. We've shown you numerous, seemingly classified pieces of information that Hunter Biden was sharing with his business partners all around the world, China included. Now, all you need to do is cross-reference official documents from the State Department, from the Ukraine or China hands at Foggy Bottom, and you'll realize, ladies and gentlemen, that what Joe Biden is doing here is posing the number one domestic threat to our nation. That we've seen in our lifetime is the largest political scandal of our lifetime. This is why they're trying so, so full throatedly to cover it up.

We just gave you the tick tock timeline there. And more importantly, we drove a stake through the heart of this idea that Joe Biden is. The president of the United States, no, ladies and gentlemen, Joe Biden is a Chinese asset and he is somebody who is allowing now a spy drone, a Chinese weaponized aircraft to hover over a fine American state, ladies and gentlemen, a fine American state represented by a single member of Congress, a wonderful man, a patriot, a fighter, a Navy SEAL, somebody who served inside of the Trump administration admirably and honorably as our Secretary of the interior. Joining us now, ladies and gentlemen, Congressman from the great state of Montana, Ryan Zinke. Thank you so much, Congressman, for being on the program. People don't really understand that you do have one of the more badass biographies in all of Congress. And we are honored to have you on the program today because you are a war

fighter. You are somebody who served this country. You're somebody who's probably very upset that the Chinese are able to fly a spy aircraft, a military aircraft over your state. And presumably the red carpet has been rolled out for them by the Biden administration. Your thoughts on this? Well, first of all, we should shoot it down. And this leads to this balloon, surveillance balloon or not. It didn't happen overnight. I mean, it got here somewhere. We presume what we've been told across the

Aleutian chain. And then it goes across Montana, is hovering there. So it's been here a while. And look, if we can't shoot down a balloon, which we should, then how can we defend Taiwan? So number one is the administration came back on our briefing last night and said, well, we didn't shoot it down because of our chance of civilian casualties from the debris field. When I've been to the Lucian chain as a SEAL, I can tell you there's not a lot out there. And I can tell you in Roosevelt County in Montana, it's the least populated county in the lower 48. And I would say almost all the residents of Roosevelt County would love to shoot it down themselves. We've got down over Roosevelt County. But, you know, it leads to a couple of things.

Number one is what was their response? They tried to as their playbook blame it on Trump. Oh, this has happened under other administrations. But China is a lot different today than they were even during the Trump administration. Obviously, they have increased their aggressive position. They are threatening Taiwan. They are moved into critical minerals. So China is flexing and remains the aggressor. Secondly, the debris field that somehow this would constitute a threat was also not accurate because again the lucian chain in roosevelt county and lastly i said well it's nothing to worry about because they can't collect any intelligence they can't collect through other means either satellites

or or human and those sources and that's not correct either, because what they observed is what was our response? You know, again, when did we pick up the balloon? Was a combatant commander informed as it went to the U.S.? What's a chain of command? When did it go to the National Command Authority? And did we act? And the bottom line, Benny, is we did nothing. And that's the same scenarios as Afghanistan. We showed weakness in Afghanistan. And that debacle, I think, led to a green light for Putin. Now now we're in a war with Ukraine with without any idea how to get out of it, by the way. And I, you know, I love John F. Kennedy. We'll pay any price for freedom. However, blank checks. No way. You can't give a blank check to anybody because this is on the backs of the U.S. taxpayers.

What's the plan? And then lastly, with China, I think this was while some people would say this is much to do about nothing. I would say once again, it shows our ineptitude of action. So two things I would like to drill down on here. One, this didn't just appear. This balloon has been traveling over the continental United States for quite a while. So why are we just hearing about it now? Secondarily, there is a large group of people who appreciate the Second Amendment in your state. Do you think that somebody in your state will just take matters into their own hands and shoot it down themselves? Well, that's the first you're exactly right.

And we'll get the bottom of it. Our job is to is to get the Department of Defense over here and find out what the truth is. When did you discover it? At what point was the procedure? Did it come back in command? Were you authorized to fire? All those things, some of the secret level, we'll get to the bottom of it because that's our job. Secondly, I am sure in the great state of Montana, there's probably some barn out there that has something capable of knocking this thing down.

But in the Chinese response, it was interesting to look at that. I said, well, this is, you know, calm down. They said, you know, this is it. We have limited steering capability on this and it's a balloon. So I accept that. But look, if the Chinese can't deflate it, I think we had to deflate it for them. I mean, I think that the vast majority of people in your state would agree. And I think the vast majority of people in your state would say, I don't care if this thing hits my barn. You know, I want it down. I don't want it hovering over our nuclear silos. And there are multiple Air Force bases that have, you know, high capacity capabilities inside of your state. Am I correct on that? Well, there are. Montana enjoys

to be part of the triad. So we have ground-based missile defense systems. And I agree to the degree that the Defense Department would say you're not going to gain anything on those specific sites from the flyover, although they could. Their technology is improving but i think that the the biggest assets what's our response you know how long did we did we see it come in did we do anything in this case it doesn't seem like we're doing anything so you know again i'm for shooting it down we should have shot it down a long time ago and look if it was an air and balloon and they won control and then diplomatically they would they would have informed you know us we we would have we looked at we maybe would escort it or help them deflate it uh but but i i don't i don't think the good state of montana the citizens want that a chinese communist balloon overhead and america should not put up with it yeah yeah that's right

i mean truly and i i think that you should you should say the first Montanan to shoot this down gets the Congressional Medal of Honor. That person would be a hero. Well, I tell you, if I could, I'd go back to Montana and pull the trigger. But unfortunately, in my barn, I don't have anything to reset for. But, you know, I think in seriousness, it needs, once again, the biggest thing was, is that, look, if we can't handle balloon, how do you think we can handle the Chinese invading Taiwan or put an adequate check on their aggression? And look, in China, not only militarily, but look, China is the largest violator of phishing. So they do illegal fishing all over. If you're an environmentalist, 90% of the plastics in the ocean come from four rivers in China.

So there's islands out there in the Pacific that are 800 kilometers, and it's all made in China. So China has not been our friend. And this is just another poke in the eye. And look, if they poke us in the eye, I think we need to poke back. Yeah. You had a remarkable tenure as secretary of the interior in the Trump administration, cabinet level position. You did wonderful work opening up our national parks, obviously protecting the majesty of this nation so that Americans could enjoy it without communist balloons hovering overhead. How would Donald Trump be treating this situation? You know, I don't think President Trump and the Trump administration gets enough credit for what we did on the conservation front.

I mean, the Great American Outdoors Act, which I was principally the architect in that past, that was the largest investment ever to restore the infrastructure in our parks and forests. So we did a lot on the conservation side. But in my working with President Trump, he can make a decision. He's not afraid to make a decision. And with Pompeo as the Secretary of State, I guarantee you that would been handled the same the same way. It seems like we're confused. We shouldn't be confused. We should be have a resolute and look out for the interest of the United States first and foremost and our and our allies. From a from a military

perspective, and you were a Navy SEAL, there there seems to be a large intelligence capacity here. Why are we taking the Chinese at their word? Why not bring the balloon down? Mark Esper was just saying this moments ago on CNN. Bring it down and actually assess for ourselves if they are telling the truth here. Well, as you remember, we had an EP3 not too long ago. It was operating in international space. They escorted that to a Chinese base, then successfully disassembled it and all right, and sent it back to us parts later and got, you know, sucked all the information and classified information out of it.

So I have no problem. We should have identified this early. And if it was if we were worried about civilian casualties, I can tell you I've operated the sealed pollution chain. Not a lot out there. And then beautiful Roosevelt County. I guarantee the great citizens of Roosevelt County would stand in line to shoot that thing down. So, you know, what the administration says and what the truth is, sometimes there's a pretty big gap. I think in this case, they just don't have a, you know, a hill to stand on in their position. But we'll get to the we'll get to the answers. But right now, I don't think we should let that thing hover in Montana or anywhere else.

I think we should knock it down. A final question here for you and changing tact ever so slightly. You are a member of Congress now. Once once more, you are a member of Congress. Now, once once more, you are a member of Congress. You had a another foreign asset, arguably Ilhan Omar, who was kicked off the Intelligence Committee yesterday. I believe you voted for her to be removed from that committee. Talk me through this. And some of the reactions have been really going viral. It seems like the theater kids are really taking the opportunity to pantomime and flagellate and throw their arms in the air quite hysterically. Well, a general rule of thumb, if you can't get a security clearance, I don't think you should be on foreign affairs. And you know what? Your words do have meaning. But yeah, second vote yesterday there was a hundred democrats that voted against a

resolution condemning socialism a hundred i mean and that was one of the easiest pitches probably in the history of congress do you believe and support you know socialism communism or you support america and our constitution and a hundred went sideways. Unbelievable. But then again, that's that's that's why we're here. We're going to defend America. We're going to defend Montana and our values. And I wear a cowboy hat constantly for a reminder that, look, the cowboy is under duress. He's under attack. The cowboy values are and we're not going to stand for it. Yeah. Final question for you, Congressman. It does seem as though Republicans are getting off on the right foot here in Congress.

You know, I was a Kevin McCarthy skeptic, to be quite honest with you. And now I'm watching how the Congress is operating and it is based. And I am deeply impressed at the work that I'm seeing done. Can you give us a little bit of a preview as to what is to come in the coming months for oversight of the Biden regime for, you know, incidences like this, the multiple scandals on multiple fronts? What are you the most interested in Congress doing in the coming months, sir? Well, the answer to the first on Speaker McCarthy, look, I've been to a lot of battles in my life, and I have. I can tell you, the battles aren't won by generals. They're won by the front line. In Congress, it's not the speaker who passes the bills. It's the members of Congress. And it's also the people holding their members of Congress accountable. I mean, here's a shocker. Why don't we do what

we said we're going to do? And so it's the bodies, the committee chairs. And lastly, here's a shocker. Why don't we do what we said we're going to do? And so it's the bodies, the committee chairs. And lastly, where we're going, you know, it's clear that we have issues in this country. We're failing foreign shores. We're seeing the consequence of Afghanistan, Ukraine without a plan. I'm sorry, I'm not a blank check guy. And then the curb, the aggressiveness of China. So on foreign shores, domestically, energy costs are far elevated. Inflation is still run out of control. People can't find a place to live affordably. We don't have a border. And then finally, culturally, I think we're in trouble.

Boys should not play girls' sports. You know, it's okay to call a mom mom and dad a dad. So on those trifectas, this Congress is going to push back, use the power of the purse. I sit on appropriations. We need to curb the spending, find savings where they are, make it more efficient. And, look, I'm a pro-defense.

Obviously, my background is a former SEAL and commander. But the defense also, we need to be able to have an audit that passes successfully. And look, there's 800,000 DOD employees. And think about it, 800,000 DOD employees. That's not those that were in the uniform. So we've created an army of bureaucrats that insurers on our weapons systems are late coming, they're overburdened, too much bureaucracy. But DOD, it's fast becoming a healthcare and a pension fund that makes a few rounds of ammunition. We need to look at restructuring the process and find the savings where they are, which we can,

and make sure the priorities of the U.S. match what the priorities of the people are. We have here, sir, your spectacular tweet from this morning. Shoot it down. In Montana, we do not this morning.
