It is free for all Friday, baby.
The Rock, Dwayne Johnson,
his given name known as the rock admits that he made a mistake he poo fannie willis hit with new criminal accusations and nebraska gop chairman eric
underwood joins the show my name is benny johnson and this is the benny show we have ladies and
gentlemen our blackout coffee for this morning. Rolling around our brigade mug.
We have been piped up on coffee.
It's been a long week.
Kids been sick.
You know how it goes.
Kids in and out of your bed.
Jumping into bed, right?
We got three little kids under the age of three.
It's been a week.
Gotta get that coffee in the morning.
I am on no stimulants.
I know.
I know.
There are so many.
There are many rumors out there. I read the comment section. I'm on no stimulants. I know. I know. There are so many. There are many rumors out
there. I read the comment section. I'm on no stimulants. I don't do Zin. I don't do any of it.
Not even Tucker. I had dinner with Tucker like a couple weeks ago, and Tucker was like,
had like a Zin in the entire time, except for when he was eating his beef Wellington. That's it.
Is that like a Zin? Like the whole dinner? It's amazing. The guy just went off for like four
hours. Awesome. But no, not me, ladies and gentlemen. Just thing. It's amazing. The guy just went off for like four hours. Awesome.
But no, not me, ladies and gentlemen.
Just caffeine.
That's right.
Just caffeine.
And the caffeine is Blackout Coffee.
The reason why is that woke coffee companies destroy America.
These people really like hate you.
You're based in Seattle, Starbucks.
Don't you see how bad things have gotten in Seattle?
You're not going to change maybe your political, your politics.
Blackout Coffee instead is based in Florida, along with their roasters and the people who make their product.
They're incredible. I drink them every single morning.
Go to blackoutcoffee.com slash Benny. Use the coupon code Benny for 20 percent off your first order.
Be awake, not woke.
Certainly love that tagline, ladies and gentlemen.
Awake. Are people becoming awake or is it all a scam for money? I don't know exactly, but I do know this, that there is a
disturbing trend among major companies and among major corporations and among celebrities
where they say F you to their paying customer. And that trend I do not like. So I'm going to take,
just take a step back here and say that we don't have a culture. We don't have a, actually,
I see a prop. I'm going to grab a prop. I'm going to do this. I'm going to do this with my
American flag. There we go. I'm going to do the Rolls Royce, Rolls Royce having a heart attack.
I'm going to do this with my little American flag here that we have. I think we got this from Walmart. There was a time when we had things that we agreed upon
in this country. And this is really important because you actually don't have a country
if you don't have some type of shared culture. That is quite literally the purpose of culture
is the purpose of country. It's the purpose of religion, right? To have things that we all agree with, we believe in, right?
Maybe right now is the right time to say Christ is king.
There you go.
But if you don't have things that you can all agree upon,
then you are going to have a fractured, horrible, warring country
that's going to be a miserable place to live.
I remember not too long
ago when I was a little boy, right? I was born in the 80s. Ronald Reagan was still president.
Born in the 80s. And I remember growing up when, and maybe you have these memories too. If you do,
then you have a blessed childhood. When we could all kind of go to a football game,
basketball game, and it didn't need to be some political statement.
You could go and watch Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal without worrying that they're going to
disgrace or spit on the American flag. They're going to disgrace their national anthem,
that they're going to make some type of like political statement about some some like fad
radical ideology when you could send your kids to school without worrying about them
being indoctrinated by some freakazoid teacher, when you go to the movies without worrying about
somebody like harping on you, it was just Star Wars, right? With Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill
and Carrie Fisher, it was just Star Wars. It was just an Indiana Jones movie. It was just fun. There wasn't some like massive message about it, right?
It wasn't having modern day,
the modern day ideologies of modern day Hollywood
and Los Angeles shoved down your throat,
especially in like a period piece, right?
Especially in like Indiana Jones,
it's like set in World War II.
But you're gonna write into this
world war ii movie the uh political sensibilities of modern day hollywood modern day la it doesn't
work it's destructive like there was a time when you could go crack a beer and not worry about that beer uh quite literally promoting an agenda that is destroying
the country right promoting divisive political agendas uh that are against
your religion biology at you know like like quite literally like you you know you
the the basic tenets of human nature like you you
don't have to worry about that you could just drink your beer you could just go to your sports
game you could just watch your movies it was something that we all like that's an important
thing because culture needs a pressure release valve you got to be able to like put the politics
away and you got to be able to like have dinner, have a beer, watch a movie with
people. That's culture without having to worry about it, like descending into some type of like
freaking scream fest about modern politics. There was an America not too long ago where
everything wasn't infused with the poison of some type of radical culture war agenda.
And that made for a really nice country, made for a very nice place to live,
made for a really nice place for people to just kind of sit back and put their feet up and enjoy
and argue maybe over the little things, small disagreements about this or that,
but like doesn't need to destroy your night right doesn't even to ruin your day and
you could go and watch athletes like let's say a wrestler okay say let's say
you dad's like I have a wrestler like that wrestler doesn't need to like
constantly make political statements and something that I think is amazing about nature itself is its healing,
and when something's gotten too extreme or when there's been too much of an industrial revolution,
let's say the industrial revolution, like goes and strip mines and creates all these factories.
Those factories are now abandoned, and what happens? Like suddenly those factories become
like giant tree preserves, right? Trees shoot right up through the factory roofs. Nature comes and
takes back over and nature is healing. Like the earth returns, okay, to the way it was before.
You ever seen those trees? They'll grow like right up through the buildings. Doesn't matter.
Can't stop them. And nature is healing in that way and given a long
no long enough period of time uh you'll return back to what was a far more positive
uh and a far more healthy way of doing things i think that america maybe i'm an optimist but i
think that like i'm seeing a lot of signs that this country is like viscerally.
The white chocolate macadamia cream cold brew from Starbucks is made just the way you like it.
Handcrafted cold foam topped with toasted cookie crumble.
It's a sweet summer twist on iced coffee.
Your cold brew is ready at Starbucks. rejecting the viciousness and the bile of wokeness that has been injected like a virus
into everything we used to love everything that used to just sort of unite all of us
uh and that you could like escape politics and the pressures of the real world and be
entertained it's not entertainment if somebody's lecturing you, like harping on you, like some type of activist the entire time.
No, it's entertaining for the sake of it being entertaining.
You laugh, you cry, you cheer, and it doesn't have to be infused with some message. All I'm saying is this, that nature is healing and that given a long enough timeline that the arc of history will bend back towards something that's more engaged in like human flourishing.
And we're seeing that right now.
And I'm an optimist about it.
Ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you something about The Rock.
I don't like The Rock.
I don't have any of The Rock's gear, shirts.
Don't buy his tequila.
Okay?
I'm not some simp or fan of The Rock.
But it's worth noting in a time period of Bud Lights and Targets and Disneys,
it's worth noting when somebody is at the very least trying to correct their mistakes. OK, it's very hard to not forgive somebody when they apologize. And it's
like a real apology. And if somebody is like actually like contented and and humble about
the mistakes that they've made. Now, we're going to get to Joe Biden here in just
a second, because I'm not sure if you should be forgiven for endorsing Joe Biden. I don't know.
I don't know. I'm going to leave that up to you in the comment section. And we'll put up the
comments. We'll see whether we forgive the rock or not. But I want to talk about something that
happened actually one year ago. One year ago, under very mysterious circumstances, the city of Lahaina, a working class, generally poor city in Maui, burnt to the ground.
All right. Tons. A horrible thing happened. And tons of people lost their homes.
Many died. It's awful. The people who this amazing article, actually, this amazing article.
Maybe we should. Can we hunt this one down from the AP
that says, in case you're wondering, and there's an earthquake apparently that happened right now
in New York. There's a lot of like swine flu and bird flu, whatever. They're going to pull out,
whatever they're going to pull out of the Black Pandora's box for the Black Swan event.
Just a reminder here, ladies and gentlemen, that the people who listened to the government, they died in Maui. There's an AP article that straight up
admits that. The people that followed the rules, like listened to the orders of the government,
they died because the government turned people away and told them to go back into the melt center
in Maui. It was pernicious, deeply evil,
ladies and gentlemen, deeply evil.
And even the Associated Press straight up admits it.
If you follow the government's instructions,
you died in Maui.
It's a remarkable article.
But there's something also that happened
that's less remarkable,
which is that billionaire Hollywood celebrities decided to shove their noses into this horrible
tragedy. And instead of just humbly and quietly giving of their untold hundreds of millions and
billions of dollars, they decided to unite and ask us to give our money. Here's the article, ladies and
gentlemen. This is just a remarkable. Just keep this in mind during any during any emergency
situation, not giving you any advice here. But this is what the AP says in deadly Maui fires.
Many had no warning and no way out. Those who dodged the barricades that the government put up survived.
I actually think they've changed. I think they've self-edited this headline.
The headline used to be like, those who listen to the government,
they died. And it's incredible. It was a crime against humanity, to be quite frank.
But what happens then? Two celebrities who happen to have mansions and massive fortunes in maui of
course their mansions not affected by the wildfires at all they're not opening their
mansions or their large acreages to any of the people suffering and they decided to get together
the two of them were named oprah and the. And they were going to get together and ask people to donate money to their little private island to rebuild.
Because they needed their private island rebuilt. Yeah, it's very ugly to look down from my hilltop
at a burned city, right? So you got to fix my view, says Oprah. uh this was the video that they they created uh here you go ladies and
gentlemen we have created the people's fund of maui that will put money directly in the hands
of the people who need it right now so if you send a donation just click where you see below
and send a donation that money is going to go to one of many residents who have
been displaced in Maui. We guarantee. Just click, please give us your money,
says Oprah. Give us your money, says two billionaires. Please give us your money.
And they'll say, oh, we donated. Well, we did the numbers. They donated what would be equivalent to
a penny, taking a penny, taking copper snippers, we did the numbers. They donated what would be equivalent to a penny,
taking a penny, taking copper snippers and cutting it in half from their fortunes.
They donated 0.0001 percentage of their fortunes. Quite literally, the equivalent of you cutting a
penny is literally the equivalent of me cutting a penny in half. All right. That's how that's how much it hurt for Oprah for a little donation. And also, the two of them were big hype men
for Joe Biden. And you may have realized that Joe Biden is delivered to the country, a very bad
economic state. Joe Biden, the economy is, of course, in complete and total collapse.
The only people getting job are government workers. There's new job numbers out this
morning. I actually, I retweeted something. Can we pop this up? There's new job numbers
out this morning. Joe Biden, Bidenomics is working. The only person hiring is the government.
That's it. And every job is now going to somebody who's an immigrant,
not to Americans. I mean, it is remarkable. You want to talk about a government that truly hates
you. All you got to do is look at the job numbers. Oh, there's a lot of jobs. Yeah,
they're not going to Americans. And the only person hiring is the government.
That is not a healthy economy. It's a crippled economy.
So in that crippled economy where people can't afford gas, groceries, can't afford their
mortgages, can't afford rent, the rock and Oprah, as you can see here, here's the actual numbers
broken out. Does that look healthy to you? Healthcare and the government are the only
people actually hiring in this economy. And healthcare, of course,
is just simply an appendage of the government.
So in such a collapsed economy that they created
in part through their endorsement
and installation of Joe Biden
as a resident of the White House,
the Rock and Oprah decide to go hat in hand
to people that have no money to live and beg for more money so that we can fix their little pretty views of the ocean from their mansions.
I didn't go great. Here's just a little sampling of what the Internet said to that nation.
Did I just witness what I think I witnessed. Please don't tell me I just saw a billionaire standing next to a multi-millionaire
begging the average everyday citizen for donations that can barely get by due to a real-life recession,
living paycheck to paycheck, barely can pay rent, barely can put food on the table for our families,
in a country where our president is giving away all our resources to another country for money?
If you two don't go take your Hollywood elite behinds to your other
Hollywood elite friends and
politician buddies that got millions
like you do and billions.
Get all that money together and help out
Maui. You are out your damn mind.
Please don't insult our intelligence like that.
And after you guys do all of that,
you will have enough money to help the rest of us.
Boo.
Get out of here with that.
The nerve.
Okay.
So one thing I would ask, I don't know who this lady is, but did you vote for Joe Biden?
Can you swap that headband for a MAGA hat, please, in 2024?
If you feel as strongly about it, wear the MAGA hat.
Put the MAGA hat on, okay?
MAGA hat stays on.
Just a quick side note, just to,
because you're right.
You're right, lady.
Preach, you're right.
These people are frauds.
They sold you out, they destroyed your economy,
and now they're begging you for money?
Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm.
And they're billionaires?
Yeah.
That would be the time to shut the mm up, right? As the kids say,
S-T-F-U. But they didn't actually shut up. And here's the learning moment. Here's the
teachable moment. We talk about a lot of teachable moments on this program.
The question is who learns and who doesn't? Oprah decided that instead of listening to the outrage online and saying, I messed up post-menopausal lady who hasn't
done any work in 20 years with the g5 jet gulf stream and multiple palatial mansions
all across america is the victim feel sorry for the rich lady billionaire is how Oprah decided to address this.
There's a really great point about being happier in the midst of an onslaught of being terrorized
and vilified online. I will say this. I came out of this experience. I was just saying this,
Arthur, this morning with so much more compassion.
I feel so sorry for Oprah.
Oprah's worth $5 billion.
Can we do a collection for her at church this Sunday?
Pass the plate around.
Oprah needs another gold-plated shark tank for sharks with freaking lasers on them. Maybe the lasers that burn Maui. Who knows?
We may never know. But here's what we do know. That's the wrong way to do it, okay?
Oprah's so rich and so removed from regular life,
from normal people, she doesn't care.
And she's happy to tell you she doesn't care.
She loves your suffering.
She doesn't care about you.
She's excited that you're suffering.
She hates you.
There was a different way to handle this.
There are two sides of the equation here.
It was Oprah and The Rock together.
They did this little fundraiser together. Oprah turned off her comments they're still off by the way we check
oprah turned off her comments she muted people being able to comment on her little thing and
the rock on the other hand did this when we first launched the fund uh there was some backlash that
came with launching the fund and i want to address and acknowledge that backlash right now.
And here's what I have to say about that.
I get it.
And I completely understand.
And I could have been better.
And next time I will be better.
And I understand, you know, money ain't falling out of the sky and it's not growing on trees.
And there's a lot of people out there who's living paycheck to paycheck.
And I get it.
And I know what that's like. I've lived paycheck to paycheck to paycheck and I get it and I know what
that's like. I've lived paycheck to paycheck, seven bucks. I know, I know what that's like.
And when you are living paycheck to paycheck, I don't want to speak for everybody. I'll speak for
myself, but I feel it's connected when you're living paycheck to paycheck. I was easily pissed
off and I was frustrated. And the last thing you want to hear when you are living paycheck to paycheck is someone asking you for money, especially when the person asking you for money already has a lot
of money. So I get it. I understand. I'd never launched a fund before, but I'm a quick study
and lesson learned. So two quick things here. You don't have to forgive The Rock. You can still make fun of him. I'm not here to simp for the billionaire, all right? I'm here to say that The Rock has so much money, he doesn't need to apologize. He can do the same thing Oprah did, when they do something that is disreputable and repulsive,
they just go, F you, right? Don't care. Don't care about you. Don't care about the fans. Don't
care about the paying customers. It is, this is my personal take. It is deeply refreshing
to see somebody say, hold up, I got this wrong. I'm wrong and I'm sorry, and I'm going to be
better. Like somebody who doesn't have to do that, that's nice to see. And we'd have a better society if
more people did that. It's hard to not accept an apology from somebody who's really contrite
and who means it. That's tough. That's difficult to actually not say, well, all right, that's
really neat to hear. And also, you know, if you study the guy's background, like the guy did come
from a working class family and did grow up with nothing and needed scholarships to go to school and
everything. We actually had The Rock's coach on the show a couple of weeks ago, Tommy Tuberville,
who coached The Rock at Miami, and he talked about how poor, how poor The Rock, he recruited The Rock,
and I like how they were very, very poor, actually, And so to like speak out about that and from that experience and just remember what life was like, that's called empathy.
And it's really nice to see somebody with empathy, I guess.
I just get you don't see a lot of it.
Right.
So I'm gonna give The Rock a pass on that one. Although I will say
it's kind of hard to give The Rock a pass on this one. This is what The Rock put up in 2020.
Now, what's crazy is The Rock never and did an endorsement, a roided up, steroid infused endorsement of Joe Biden with a silly little shirt in some type of palatial garden.
Again, stop doing these videos from your mansions, OK?
You want to relate with normal people.
Do you forgive The Rock for this?
I don't.
The country's in shambles because of people like you.
You were tricked. You were duped. But can you make amends? Can you fix yourself and not make that mistake
again? Well, ladies and gentlemen, let's see. The rock was actually asked this morning on a live
interview with Fox News. If he is going to endorse Biden again,
if he regrets that endorsement. And here's what he had to say. And once again, ladies and gentlemen,
we're just going to look at this with clear eyes and we're going to say, all right,
let's listen. Are you happy that you made that endorsement in 2020? Are you happy with the state of America?
Am I happy with the state of America right now?
Well, that answer is no.
Do I believe we're going to get better?
I believe in that.
I'm an optimistic guy, and I believe we can get better.
The endorsement that I made years ago with Biden
was what I thought was the best decision for me at that time.
And I thought back then when we talk about, hey, you know, I'm in this position
where I have some influence and it's my job then. I felt like that then. It's my job now to
exercise my influence and share with this. This is who I'm going to endorse.
Am I going to do that again this year?
That answer's no.
So The Rock says America's in shambles.
He's not happy with what's happened.
He regrets his endorsement.
He thought it was the right thing to do at the time.
He regrets it and he's not going to endorse again.
Now, you don't have to forgive The Rock for the first time that he did this,
but you can begin to see a trend.
And the trend is that nature is healing.
And we would actually have a better country, I think,
if more of these celebrities stopped being used as tools of the Democrat Party.
Look at Diddy.
How well has that gone for Diddy?
As the feds raid all of his house for all those
secret cameras they hid in there, milked that guy for every endorsement and every turnout in the
vote operation they possibly could in urban America. And now they're coming after him,
right? Like stop being stupid, I guess is the question question. But can you can you like return America to a time
when not every where every celebrity and every person and every athlete and every famous brand
doesn't have to be some type of divisive political statement, doesn't have to make some type of like
woke left wing statement. I mean, I've said this before. It would have been wrong
for Bud Light to put Donald Trump's face on the can, right? Like as much as I would have loved it,
I would have went and bought cases of it, sent it to all the brigade members. I'd have been like,
that's not the right business move, I don't think. Like you're going to piss off a ton of people that
drink your beer for no reason. But it never seems to go that route,
right? It's never that way. It's always every single corporation, of course, bending the knee
to Marxism and going the way of the left. And so now we've seen, of course, the collapse in that
model, the destruction of brands like Disney, the destruction of various celebrities that have gotten overtly political.
And it's been amazing to watch what's happened at Disney recently with some of their overtly
political stars and what a tight leash they are on now for talking a little too much about politics.
Amazing. If you know where to look, you'll see like the incredible overcorrection actually of that
because they realized how bad it was hurting them.
And now you're watching The Rock do this. I would argue that this is a good thing. You don't have to forgive The Rock. I don't. You should never endorse Joe Biden. but you can see the correction and say that that's good and what's ultimately the point of of someone
like the rock the ultimately the point of a guy like that and of every celebrity frankly is to
put asses in seats to have fans to like respect your fans and have your fans feel like you respect
them and that model breaks down when you piss off 51 of your fans
do you really think there's 81 million joe biden voters out there
i know for a fact the rock lives in georgia
and i'm gonna pull up actually very interesting side-by-side of
what it looked like when Donald Trump went to Georgia and Joe Biden went to Georgia over the
past two weeks, I think it was ago. Joe Biden, Donald Trump in Georgia at the same time.
The Rock lives in Georgia. The Rock has his production company in Georgia.
He has all of his businesses in Georgia. And The Rock is somebody who reads energy.
And The Rock is reading energy and is able to look out and see that Donald Trump has real actual supporters, people cheering for him in the arenas, people screaming for Trump and screaming FJB at UFC.
We were just at UFC with Donald Trump. It's remarkable. And somebody like The Rock, I mean,
is not completely brain dead, is going to say, I shouldn't piss off those arenas of people.
Those arenas of people pay my mortgage and buy my brands. And that's why in a very interesting interview
last month, The Rock said he actually really respects Donald Trump
and respects how much the fans love Donald Trump, which is a nice and refreshing thing to see.
Just like the basic levels of respect for your fellow American.
We used to have an America that you could disagree with people and still respect them.
Here we go.
And the wrestler Donald Trump, he has a long history with WWE.
What does it mean that both the WWE audience and the UFC audience
seem to have such an appreciation or celebration of Donald Trump?
Red states, we sell out blue states, we sell out.
It's not what we're focused on.
What we're focused on is the in-ring product
and how it delivers to the fans.
And if politicians are fans of our product,
they're welcome.
You got the rock.
You want Donald Trump back in the ring at WWE?
Listen, rock against Donald Trump,
I don't know how well that would work out
in the ring for Donald Trump.
How about that ovation he gets when he comes out?
I know President Donald Trump. How about that ovation he gets, though, when he comes out? I know President
Donald Trump taking his
octagonal side seat for UFC.
Oh, big, big ovation.
No question. That's what I'm talking about. It's incredible.
A lot of friends who have achieved...
Yeah. Yeah.
Ladies and gentlemen,
this is what it looked like in
Georgia. Here's Carolyn Levin.
She is tweeting live from Donald Trump's event in Georgia.
Now, then these events are taking place just down the road from each other.
This is the line to get into Joe Biden's event in Georgia.
Remember, The Rock lives here.
OK, the first image is the line to get into Joe Biden's event.
Can you like, huh?
Is there even a line? There's
like seven times the number of people at the DM at our local DMV. I was just at our local DMV
in the line. Can we zoom in on that? Like you really do literally have to zoom in.
Look at this. I assure you at your local Chick-fil-A on a Sunday morning,
there's more drunkards waiting in the drive-thru line without recognition that like Chick-fil-A on a Sunday morning, there's more drunkards waiting in the drive-thru
line without recognition that Chick-fil-A is closed than there are at a line to see the
current residents of the White House. And this is the line to get into Donald Trump's event
just down the road. A little hard to see because it's a panoramic photo because you can't fit the entire crowd in one frame scroll through look at
this and we've been to trump events i mean we've we've gone to these rallies the lines are down
the street around the block and into the next county the people go the people literally stretch
as far as the eye can see to get into the trump event. So this is also obviously part of the thing that
leads The Rock to be like, ah, yeah, I'm going to back away from this because Donald Trump's
supporters are real. Right. This is what it looks like when Joe Biden goes to a state he won,
Arizona. This is footage filmed from the road. This was sent to us.
Some dude was walking to his job in Phoenix in a big metropolitan area, very blue city.
Here's Joe Biden literally traveling down the road. Here, there's the beast right there.
That's the limousine that Joe Biden drives in that we all pay for no one nada nothing not even a squirrel
not even a chick monk whatever lives in the desert nothing not even an armadillo there for joe biden
here's what it looks like when donald trump make this big let's let's go big time on this
it looks like when donald trump goes to california this is california this is trump rolling through long beach look at this
look at this an army flanking the street the motorcade can barely get through. The people are stacked nine levels deep.
Tell me, ladies and gentlemen, who actually got 81 million votes?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
So this is why The Rock is making these moves.
And also, I think most importantly, the rock understands that there's writing on
the wall that this is bad for business and that's because of you and me like we have made this bad
for business for entertainers and celebrities to be so overtly political and that's like great for
the country actually that's healing for the nation.
And we should all be like thankful.
We should all be thankful for that.
Now we've seen like a ton of celebrities follow this path.
Antonio Brown, big time, like NFL celebrity.
He was quote tweeting us this morning saying that he started this trend for celebrities
and he wants to be Donald Trump's vice president.
Okay, got it.
Snoop Dogg saying that he loves Donald Trump and has nothing but respect for Donald Trump,
and Donald Trump did good things for him.
Various rappers, rapper 50 Cent saying Donald Trump is the answer.
Donald Trump's going to be president, right?
Donald Trump will be president, says 50 Cent, along with an unbelievable
AI video of Donald Trump dropping a number of N-bombs that we haven't bleeped enough for the
show, ladies and gentlemen. That would require some bleeping here. But 50 Cent posts it, that's
news, and you deserve to see it. So what else do you deserve to see? Well,
you deserve to see some people who backed Biden also breaking with Biden. And this is an
unbelievable and quite astonishing phenomenon. There's an ESPN host who's known for his deep
abiding wokeness, right? His name's Stephen A. Smith. And Stephen A. Smith was on CNN this past week.
I believe this is the CNN.
Clip H is the CNN?
Yeah.
This guy's been doing a ton of media bashing Biden
and saying this guy's trash.
And it's remarkable.
And now he's going after Hillary too.
And for a regime that is all about control of message, this is true panic
time. When you're losing guys like The Rock and you're losing guys like Stephen A. Smith and you're
not able to, like, convince these people to destroy their careers anymore for your garbage candidate,
it's really something special. And also, man, going after Hillary. So the clip that was just
played was Hillary Clinton saying there shouldn't even be an election. I don't know why we even have to have an election. Everyone loves Joe Biden.
Here's Biden supporter Stephen A. Smith over it. I don't think it was a very wise statement on her
part. How did that work out for her in 2016? I think that's something that we have to recognize
here. She won the popular vote, but at the end of the day, she wasn't the president of the United
States. It was him. You can look at her not campaigning in Wisconsin in the last days, not campaigning in Pennsylvania
in the last days. You can look at some of the stuff that they were saying about her that sort
of distracted things from where it should have been in terms of Comey and his report from the
FBI. You can bring up a whole bunch of things. But at the end of the day, the last thing you need to
do is to do anything that could agitate a potential voter
in this particular election. That at some point in time, you've got to take into account what the
voters are thinking about. The voters, a lot of them out there, tens of millions of them out there,
by the way, don't care what he's going through right now. They don't care about his guilt or
innocence, his perceived guilt or innocence. They don't care about the 91 counts. They're
thinking about their lives. And a lot of times we see politicians taking the positions
that they're taking. And while we
can respect their candor and their honesty,
they do seem a bit detached at
time from what the voters are actually
feeling and what the voters are actually thinking.
Nobody wants to hear that
from Hillary Rodham Clinton at this particular
moment in time, because especially if
you're Joe Biden, what are you really, really worried
about right now? You're worried about folks coming to the polls. You're worried about
them showing up to the polls. So again, you're not supposed to say that, that you're not supposed to
read the script, right? What did we hear this week from Sage Steele, a former ESPN? She used to work
with Stephen A. Smith. She was colleagues.
They did shows together.
Read the script.
Joe Biden's on.
We gave him all the questions in advance.
Read the damn script.
Okay?
That's what you're supposed to do.
And he ain't reading the script.
And you can hear the CNN anchor.
You can always hear it, like, their voice.
It peaks.
B-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-trump!
Right? It's really amazing. It's so funny when it happens.
What he's saying there, it's very similar to the Oprah video, right? And all kind of sort of
circles around. Like nobody cares about what you, like Oprah's mansion. We don't care about your
stupid fundraiser, all right. We care about everyday life.
We can worry about these other things later. You have destroyed everyday life for everyday
Americans. You are destroying this place. I know you're getting fabulously rich off this, Oprah,
but we don't care about you. We don't like you. And you clearly don't care about us. It's amazing how people are so, they're so close,
right? They're so close. Charles Barkley is one of them. Charles Barkley is so close. Listen to
Charles Barkley from like a few hours ago on an interview with Stephen A. Smith talking about the
problems with the black community in this country. We elected y'all to do y'all job. Y'all do your
job. Stop this homelessness stuff. Get these people off the street. Find
some other way to leave them in front of just out
and taking advantage of the public.
And hey, if you come in these stores
robbing people,
number one, it's
open season on your ass. But also
if we catch you, you're going to jail.
You know, I've been coming up here to
New York to do this show for like the last
couple months.
And like you see the streets, you see the streets in New York three weeks ago on TV.
They had these these these migrants. First of all, the border is a joke.
The border is a joke. But they have these migrants.
They call them had just bust up in New York. They got them on camera kicking and being like cops.
They beat up these two cops, beating up two cops, beating up two New York. They got him on camera kicking and beating like cops. They beat up these two cops. Beating up
two cops. Beating up two police officers.
They were out of jail
in 24 hours.
And the next day... Actually, it was
the same day, Charles.
But two days later, they called him
Rob and Macy's.
Wow. First of all, they beat up
cops. How are you out of jail in 24 hours?
And then clearly, two days later, they're robbing Macy's.
Anybody, whether you're Democrat, Republican, a dog, a cat, or a puppy, you know that's wrong.
Okay.
Democrat, Republican, dog, or puppy.
He's so close.
You're so close, Charles. You're so close. They call him King Charles,
right? The great MAGA king is your king, Charles. Put on the red hat.
So you've always been picky about your produce, but now you find yourself checking every label
to make sure it's Canadian. So be it.
At Sobeys, we always pick guaranteed fresh Canadian produce first.
Restrictions apply.
See in-store or online for details.
Put on the MAGA hat.
I'm so frustrated with these people.
Everyone's complaining about everyday life.
But if you can't put the MAGA hat on, then you aren't serious about fixing the problems. And if you voted for Joe Biden, you are the problem. You voted for this, and I don't feel
sorry for you. I don't have any empathy for you. So unless you are changing your ways, then you get,
of course, no quarter on this show. Ladies and gentlemen, a dollar, by the way, is worth approximately a quarter. If you go back
about 35 years, you can see the erosion of the value of the dollar is at hand. And we have,
of course, our Federal Reserve and the psychopaths who run our economy to thank for that.

That's backed by nothing.
Well, we've seen it throughout history.

Somebody who probably needs some extra protection is Big Fanny.
Big Fanny Willis is maybe in more trouble.
Some hot water here, ladies and gentlemen. Fannie Willis hit
with new accusation. Apparently, Fannie Willis has been secretly recording people who are some of the
Donald Trump defendants, and that's breaking the law. Fulton County District Attorney Fannie
Willis may have avoided disqualification from the Trump case as of now. That's still up for the appellate court to decide.
But that decision has done little to put the conservative attack against her to rest,
and it won't. Big Fannie is facing new allegations that she illegally recorded calls between her and
one of the defense lawyers in the case. In a Tuesday interview with Legal Analysis, Phil
Holloway, attorney Chris Kershaw, who's representing the Trump co-defendant,
Harrison Floyd,
alleged that Willis recorded a phone call
between her and Maryland-based colleagues
without their knowledge.
And that's obviously illegal.
So, ladies and gentlemen,
another hot pot of water for Big Fannie.
Here we go.
By the way, Fannie did reach out to us.
My,
my colleague,
one of my colleagues in Maryland and was rude,
abrupt with him on the phone.
And,
and he was dealing with the Maryland case.
I was dealing with the Georgia case and she ended up recording him.
You know,
Maryland is a one party state.
I mean,
a two party state,
both parties have to consent.
I'm sorry. So are you saying that she illegally recorded a phone call?
Oh, yeah. It's a felony in Maryland.
So Harrison Floyd, who, again, is being prosecuted by Fannie Willis, says, I don't want to put a black woman in jail.
But if Fannie Willis does not recuse herself from this case by noon Monday, I may have no other choice but to pursue all legal remedies.
Make Fulton great again.
So he's giving a ultimatum for Fannie Willis to drop off the case.
It's going to be very interesting, ladies and gentlemen, to see what happens there. the most important legal question of our day, which again has boggled the mind and has confused
some of the sharpest lawyers in the legal profession. It's a question that some of the
great philosophers throughout human history have struggled with and wrestled with,
and we don't have an answer And we don't have an answer.
We don't have an answer. Nathan Wade, someone we lovingly refer to as Nathan's hot dog
on the show, was asked this tough question and went like this. Did you go to a cabin?
Here's the answer. Did you go to a cabin with miss willis ever ever ever
the hardest time we've been together for the thing would last forever through thick and thin We never, never said that. Now it's all gone sour.
Getting worse.
Let's break up.
No.
Never want no capitalism.
No.
Okay.
I apologize that we cry and work that meme into almost every show.
We laugh every time.
It's actually a gift for us. I hope it's a gift for you.
It's a gift for us in the studio. We love every time. It's actually a gift for us. I hope it's a gift for you. It's a gift for us in the studio.
We love that meme.
Something that the Department of, well, crimes for Joe Biden doesn't like is that they're being sued over an Obama directive on classified documents.
What does this mean? And apparently there's some secret directive that has kept that has been kept from the public.
That is the reason why they're going so hard at Trump.
But it actually allows Donald Trump not be prosecuted here.
Let's have a read. headed by ex-Donald Trump advisor Stephen Miller, accused the Defense Department on Thursday of failing to answer a request for an Obama-era memo
that may reveal pertinent information
surrounding the 45th President classified documents indictment.
America First Legal in January filed
a Freedom of Information Act request
to compel the DOD to submit information
pertaining to a secretive technology committee
created in 2014 under President Barack Obama
in response to foreign cyber attack threats.
Miller's group alleges that the Presidential Information Technology Committee creates the
presumption that the president controls all information he receives and says that it could
be have sweeping implications for Trump's 40 count indictment against allegedly mishandling records.
Ladies and gentlemen, I don't really know if this is something that's going to like blow the case wide open.
But we trust Stephen Miller. It's been something that he's been effusively posting on X about.
The defendant has violated the FOIA by failing to reasonably search records in response to the
request and release for non-exempt records within the prescribed limit. So what does this say effectively?
What this says is in 2015, under Barack Obama,
there was a memorandum that was established
saying that the president has exclusive control
over all information resources provided to the president,
vice president and executive office of the president.
The memorandum made clear that any records
sent the executive office of the president, The memorandum made clear that any records sent the executive office of the president systems or record stemming from those systems are
controlled by the president. Trump has argued that under the Presidential Record Act that he
had broad authority to designate documents from his time in office as personal property, which is
true, and argued that his decision to take them to-Lago State showed that he treated records as such. So, again, this would really blow a hole in Jack Smith's prosecution of Donald Trump and persecution of Donald Trump.
Stephen Miller obviously was is a friend of the show and is the sharpest tack, I think, in the Donald Trump box.
What do I mean by that?
Donald Trump hired a bunch of people.
Some of them are really bad. OK, Donald Trump says some What do I mean by that? Donald Trump hired a bunch of people. Some of them were really bad, okay?
Donald Trump says some of them were really bad.
Stephen Miller was not a bad apple.
He was a very good apple.
And Stephen Miller, every Trump policy that you like,
every speech that Donald Trump gave
that was like crisp and clear and like really nice
and rang like a bell, written by Stephen Miller.
Stephen Miller on our show just last week
told us exactly what will happen
when Trump retakes office in 2024. I don't want to make any news today beyond what's already been announced,
but what I can say that comes from a personal experience and knowledge is that
President Trump, on day one of a new administration, will launch the most effective, complete, and total reclamation of
government for the American people that you can possibly imagine. Every rogue agency, every rogue
department, every rogue sub-agency and component of government that has been brought into service
of the radical left, that has been weaponized against the people, that has been brought into service of the radical left, that has been weaponized against the people,
that has been weaponized against our liberties,
our freedoms, our constitution,
will be reclaimed and redirected in defense of
and in service of the American people
against the forces that are trying
to demolish Western civilization.
And it will happen as surely as the sun rises in the morning
if enough people
get out and vote. Now, obviously, Stephen Miller, sharp guy, but he can't force people
to vote for Donald Trump. We have to make that decision ourselves. There is one man, however, who could
potentially force a Donald Trump victory given a number of electoral scenarios in 2024, which is
going to be pretty tight, right? Looking like the polls are going to be razor thin, astonishing how
that's the case. But nonetheless, here we are. There is one man who has been fighting to give Donald Trump
and he has the pathway and the power to give Donald Trump extra electoral votes from a dark
red state. We've been covering this topic pretty extensively. Charlie Kirk was on the show yesterday
to talk about it. And now Eric Underwood, the chairman of the Nebraska GOP, joins the program to talk about it.
Eric, thank you so much for being on the program.
You are clearly somebody who is the man of the hour.
A lot of people talking about this electoral vote,
winner takes all situation in Nebraska.
We covered it extensively on the show,
but the background is effectively
Nebraska splits up its electoral votes
via congressional district.
That generally means one vote
could go to Joe Biden.
That one vote could be the deciding vote
actually on a number of electoral scenarios.
And you are pushing to make it win or take all
like most states um how is that fight going well you know the fight's actually going on over eight
nine months so i've been trying to take a look at what would be the projected outcome of the
electoral college even with the redistricting that occurred in 2020. And it made many scenarios occur
where one vote could make a difference,
a 270 to 268 number.
And with 269 being a number that we could get
if Nebraska changed,
it's been in our political plan
for the NAGOP, the Nebraska Republican Party,
to make this happen.
So to be honest,
a lot of it was trying to do a backdoor
bringing effort into this
because I knew it would make national news. And so my goal has been to communicate this to everybody.
A bill is sitting in our unicameral since last year. We have to do a two-year cycle. It was in
there last year, which means it gets to get carried over to this year. And our goal has been to try
and find not only enough votes to get it to pass, but I think what we're finding right now is to make sure that people understand the importance of it.
Because I guess in my mind, if you have the idea that this could dramatically change likely scenarios, wouldn't you put every effort to make it happen?
And so we have options through our unicameral process, and this is what makes it so unique to Nebraska.
We don't have two different legislative bodies. have one the red state is very accurate assessment
we have 600 000 republicans to 300 320 000 democrats we have all five federal seats the
lieutenant governor governor four constitution officers and one legislative body which we have
almost two-thirds in fact now as you saw this week we do have two-thirds. In fact, now, as you saw this week, we do have two-thirds.
A Democrat became a Republican this week, and that gives us 33 out of our 49 legislative seats.
So the question really comes down to is that if you have opportunities to make
America great again, if you have opportunities to put Nebraska in the forefront of leading on taxes
or protecting of youth.
We've got a sports and spaces bill going through today,
protecting the women's bathroom and women's sports.
If you have that opportunity and it aligns with the party's platform,
wouldn't you do everything you could to make it happen?
So this week, Tyler from Turning Point texted me and said,
hey, are you guys still in
session? I said, yes. He said, do you think we could get winter take all to go? I said,
let's make it happen. He's like, all right, we're going to roll it. And that's Tuesday.
And in 48 now going on 72 hours, I guess the eyes of the nation are now on Nebraska.
We're not a flyover state anymore. Yeah, no, you are a stop in state. And I know Charlie is going to be doing
a rally there next Tuesday. And I assume you'll be at that rally. Obviously, we watched your hit
on Charlie's show. And it sounded like there is a little bit of backstabbing going on with this
right now. And there there is the Republican establishment as ever standing in the way and saying,
no, no, no, we're just going to lose graciously.
That's our job here, right?
You got the Harlem Globetrotters, right?
And then you have the Washington Generals, right?
Their job is just sit around and lose
like a bunch of buffoons.
And that's the Republican Party.
And you talked about how ron mcdaniel
was somebody who you personally went to and said we got to get this done and she her response to
you was it's not important i reached out in october of last year i tried to backdoor the
conversation by just doing some general conversations about michigan football and
nebraska football uh obviously that's something that you can try to start a generic conversation with.
And then I segued into, you know, we've got an option here and didn't get a response to that.
So then in October, I reached out again and said, I'd really like to sit down and show you our political plan.
It includes winner take all, which I think could make a big difference.
Just quick text messages then finally
in the middle of november a scheduler contacted me and said in two weeks we can have this meeting
how would that work so we had a zoom meeting in in november and i tried to paint the scenario
obviously at the time we didn't have a presumptive nominee like we do now but i tried to paint the
scenario even beyond just the presidential in ne, I get $8 million going to the Nebraska
Democratic Party. Why? Because they care about Nebraska. They're outnumbered two to one.
They have one option. They can get that potential electoral vote out of the Omaha, Douglas County
area. And if they continue to do that, I have a harder challenge to move all the principles forward
of our party.
So that I also segwayed into the electoral college vote.
And I said, we have these opportunities here, but I need help.
As grassroots and people that are trying to adhere to the platform,
almost strictly to the platform, move into these lead positions there,
there becomes a disconnect.
And you're seeing this happen everywhere, Benny.
You're seeing this happen in many states where leaders, elected leaders go, I get it. You're the state party chair and maybe you have to follow the platform, but we've got a different scenario that's happening
in our legislative body or as a federal delegate. You need to understand the 80% rule.
And I'm not sure where this aligns. There's no other business model that you can have a vision, you can have a mission, you can have your business operating plan,
where 80% of the people, 80% of the time don't have to follow it. They can just sliding scale
choose when they can utilize the platform. Our platform for Nebraska says that we want
winner take all. It's literally in there. I didn't write it. It was in there for a long time. In fact,
it's been something I've been trying for two decades to accomplish, probably even more
so relevant this year because you see how much the money comes into Nebraska, as I indicated.
So I referenced this all to her and it basically came out, well, what do you want us to do about
it? I said, I need your support. I need you to come into Nebraska and say, the state chairman's
got a political plan. How can we help? I was told the federal entity concept of the RNC can't do anything
with legislation, which I didn't quite understand because we're going at, we're filing lawsuits
in opposite of legal, with legal action when it comes to election integrity lawsuits. There's 80,
90 of them out there.
And basically, I was just told, well, let us know how that turns out. Maybe I'll call a senator there to see if there's any interest. And that's how it ended. And so you sit there and go, I could
have made that announcement then, but I don't have the political leverage. And I certainly don't have
an audience like you do to make this happen. So am I going to sit there and say, well, oh, well, I'm going
to continue to work to make this happen. And I said the very same thing at the last RNC Las Vegas
meeting that we had. I stood in front of the entire legal team and I said, I have two challenges in
Nebraska. I have a winner-take-all model that's out there. And I also have a photo voter ID that
did not get passed the way that people wanted it to get passed. It's not implemented the way that
they voted on it. But we have such things coming through our potential ballot initiatives that could enshrine
abortion in Nebraska's constitution because they're using the terms fetal viability.
We have all these things that could be happening here and we have solutions to the problem.
I need your help because I don't want you calling me on November 6th going,
how did abortion get enshrined in nebraska's constitution how did
we lose the presidential nomination by one vote nebraska i'm begging you for your influence
because i thought we're on the same team here to come help but i'm not really in the in the club
quite yet so i'm still working towards that you're saying that democrats sent eight million dollars to omaha to the 2020 nebraska
in 2020 you go into the fdc filings it's eight million dollars exactly and they spend 7.8 million
of it that's just the nebraska democratic party that doesn't include the c4s and all the dark
money there why they have no the highest elected if you count these legislators there i guess
there's 16 or 17 democrats there now maybe 15 if you count the one that transitioned.
The highest elected Democrat in the state of Nebraska is the Lincoln mayor, the one that I'm in Lincoln here.
That's where I live.
The Lincoln mayor is the highest elected Democrat there.
That election only happens every four years, and it's in an off-cycle year.
It doesn't happen during these even cycles.
It happens in the Springs coming up.
So $8 million in 2020 for what?
One electoral vote.
Now imagine where all that money goes, that one vote, because in every, every two cycles,
what happens is half of the legislature is up.
So this year, half of the 49 seats are up.
The odd number seats, one, three, five, seven. Two years
ago, it was the two, four, six. And they get a four-year cycle. But there's money coming in,
especially during these presidential election years because the congressional race is there.
I get it. But it's a targeted congressional district race. Why? Not just because of what
they think the demographic of voters are. When you look at the numbers, the voters of Republicans
in congressional district two is actually more than Democrats. There are a lot of independents
there, but it's not because they want that one congressional seat. They want the electoral vote.
And yes, $8 million. They had $250,000 donors to the Nebraska Democratic Party. And you want
to know who the names are? George Soros, Steven spielberg jeffrey katzenberg george sewers is sending stephen
bilbert spielberg is sending ten thousand dollars to the nebraska democratic party
now i'm sure he's not sitting there writing a check but he's been given the marching orders
to do this because that's important 250 10 000 donors from outside from outside of Nebraska for that one electoral vote. And so I say to myself,
I need to solve that problem, right? That's what you have to do.
That is remarkable. And it really is. It does. It's checkers versus chess. How much money did
the RNC give you? In this last cycle, as I took over in 2022, the RNC doesn't give direct
contributions to a state party unless
there's some relationship that's being developed through a community center or whatever i in 2020
it's going to be nominal but you know this is the same situation that's happening in all the state
parties in 2024 so far i haven't received none so wait so the democrats gave eight million dollars
the the democrats or dnc or the apparatchiks gave $8
million. That's not including dark money to play for the seat. And the RNC did nothing.
I have my records show that there's no RNC money moved into there. We have money that because of
the largest of many other people in our state that were Republicans. Yes, there was some money moved
in there, but a lot of it was moved out. I'm looking at our finances and I'm trying to
understand how this party stayed red when we've made no focus on the relationship of building
the trust with the voters based upon our values. You see, that's where the whole relational
organizing and all that's supposed to occur, where over time you build this trust, you know who the
individuals are, they actually become volunteers. And that's what's happened under my administration over
the last two years is that we've actually doubled or tripled the amount of volunteers.
Our individual donations from our booster program or any GOP plus have tripled over the last two
years. Why? Because instead of telling the grassroots that we only need you six months
before an election and don't forget to vote and donate, I said, I want you here.
I want you to be a part of the party, and I want you to be a part of the county parties as well.
We've sat in a situation for CD2.
There was only three counties in CD2, and instead of having nothing they had 155
patriots show up to their county convention to go through the governance component of it
the sarpy county patriots if they had two years ago they had 90 people at their convention
this last this last week they had 315 show up because when you give a voice and an opportunity
for for grassroots or anybody that's been activated since 2020 when you give a voice and an opportunity for grassroots or anybody that's
been activated since 2020, when you give them an opportunity to actually bring their time,
talents, and treasures, if you give them that opportunity, they'll show up.
But they're asking for two things. First and foremost, they're asking for stability.
They don't want to come to an organization that doesn't follow its own rules.
They don't want to come to an organization that doesn't even have its constitution
or bylaws and says, you know, we just kind of do whatever's been precedent and we'll status quo it.
And your job is to support the elected officials. The objective of the party that's written into
our constitution, Benny, says two things. We're here to maintain the government of, by, and for
the people, which means the individuals that are elected need to come from the people.
They need to be by the people's will and then you do it for the people.
But here's the second thing.
It says our job is to further the principles within the community.
And when you make that your guiding documents, as well as your platform,
people say, I want to be a part of that.
That's how you grow this party.
Final question I have for you here, Mr. Underwood,
because if we had 50 state chairs like you,
we'd have a Richard Nixon,
Ronald Reagan level landslide election
where you'd have 49 states, right, voting for Donald Trump.
Donald Trump came out this week and endorsed your fight
to make Nebraska winner take all.
This is pretty powerful.
And it seems like the entire ecosystem is now
obviously demon level screams uh about this play you know this you're playing i mean you can see
that they are very scared and angry that this is now catching some uh traction Yet, the reports that we hear is that people in the Senate are dithering,
that people in Nebraska are saying, oh, next cycle, we'll figure it out. We'll try and find,
we'll try and figure it. This is going to be a willpower game. This is going to be like a force
of will, like a will to power game. And this could very well save the country and give Donald Trump the presidency. And so
what's your what's your message, one, to Donald Trump to help make this happen and to the rest of
the maybe the dithering, mealy mouthed, hand wringing Republicans who are worried about,
you know, upsetting the Tea Party? Well, my message to Donald Trump is whether it's this sort of one single item that each
state could do or the multiple other state parties. As I told you, we kind of coalesced
with state parties, the state chairs from Kansas and Idaho and North Dakota and Colorado.
We'd come together. There can be, in essence, my plan was to bring us together
because my goal was that I thought Donald Trump would get there in 2024, but what about 2026?
We have to be looking into 2028. And the only way you do that is with strong state parties that use
the platform. So my goal would be is, and I'll talk with Ms. Trump, who's the co-chair now,
and Chairman Watley and I are good friends. Don't forget
about the state parties. They have the greatest impact on what can rally troops over the length
of time. So let's build our state parties up. Let's put as much effort into election integrity
as you can to the leaders that say more people are welcome. And they can find what's approachable in
each state there, whether they need to hit the Hispanic community, whether they want to go African-American community, whatever it is.
They'll be the best ones to determine just as much as I said the same thing about my counties.
My 93 counties are the best ones to determine what's good for them, what will make their county great again.
And the second part of it is that I put this in our tweet last night. If you knew that you had
an option to be a history maker, to be a difference maker, and you knew that this was the choice of
whether you had four more years of a Biden or Harris administration, one that has continued
to increase in inflation, the one that has the open borders, the one that has fentanyl and drugs,
we could lose Supreme Court seats.
If you knew that there's a mathematical possibility, and I don't care if you say it's 0.001% or you say it's 50% of the time, and you could use your procedures,
you could use the rule of law to make that change, wouldn't you do everything you could to do that?
What else is there left? There is supposed to be an integrity of every institution and i get that but there won't
be an institution left if we have four more years of a biden administration we have to do this there
are rules and you can suspend them you can find ways to add this to another bill you could do a
special session because it's of this much importance and if you take a look at where the country is at
i think we have to do everything
we can to save this country that's exactly right that's exactly right again we'd have 49 state
landslides if we had state gop chairman like eric underwood everyone pray for this man uh and
support the nebraska gop and their fight to save the country uh here is eric underwood's x account
ladies and gentlemen the ne, the Nebraska GOP
post that he just referenced here up on screen and EGOP is their ex account.
Godspeed, sir. Thank you. Thank's Ask Benny Anything time.
It is Friday.
Let's go.
Have you ever seen a redwood tree from Donna Dunn?
Yes, I have.
So we do a lot of smack talk about California and liberal states, but I was born in 1986 in Los Angeles.
And my parents were big outdoors people, and we would go see the redwood trees all the time.
And so there's photos of me as a little kid.
You could drive through one of the trees, right?
We went to these little parks.
And so the answer is yes.
Thank you, Dawn. From Lisa Subino. Hi, Benny. and so the answer is yes uh thank you dawn
from lisa subpoena hi benny not a question just a comment a photo of your family at easter was
so sweet thank you for sharing uh what a handsome bunch uh and your shorts did crack me up well
we thank you for that we're actually we're actually retooling our shorts and uh we encourage
you to go over and check our shorts,
check out our shorts and our short form content.
We try to make this stuff very, very punchy
and very entertaining.
I got a great team over there with David and with Eric.
And so thank you for watching.
And we do have the, do we have the Easter photo?
I mean, I guess we pop it up, right?
There you go.
Here is the Easter photo.
And we appreciate it, right?
So, oh, these shorts.
Oh, not the shorts product.
Oh, these shorts were cracking you up.
Okay, yeah, I mean, obviously.
Okay, so there's two different shorts.
There's like something on YouTube called shorts,
the short form video.
But these shorts are also quite short form all right so
they're shorter than they actually look because I'm sitting down and also
because you have to like bunch everything up you're there the you ever
tried to like have all the kids looking the same direction a photo we barely
accomplished it here you see Juliet over there she's not looking the right
direction I got Theo Theo's a little confused about what's going on. All right. And then a little Theo. And you got Eloise, who is a miracle. I mean, a miracle. But it took like all like took all of our effort to like get the kids just seated together for a second, for like a split second there. short shorts is that it's pretty hot already in Florida and the eighties are back baby.
And I don't know, I'm not, I'm not basketball. I'm not going to go hit the court, right? I'm not
like, I like the short shorts. I don't mind them. They're not super short, but yeah,
maybe new merch. Maybe we'll put the shorts in the, maybe we'll make our own set of brigade shorts.
The Stay Salties, we'll call them.
80s are back, all right?
There's plenty of photos of my dad
wearing shorts like this.
It was a great time.
It was a great economy.
It was a great country.
Maybe I'll grow a mullet.
I don't know.
Grow a mullet, mustache.
We can do that.
We can do our AI version of 80s Benny.
Don't you want that back?
Don't you want the 80s back?
You want the 80s back.
Come on.
Come on.
There's nothing wrong with it.
That's right, ladies and gentlemen.
That's right.
ALX just sent us a photo of what it looks like in Massachusetts.
ALX says, meanwhile, in Massachusetts, where ALX lives.
Oh, man.
Look at ALX's pool.
Holy moly.
ALX got a basketball court.
So maybe ALX doesn't wear short shorts like that.
You know, ALX is b-balling.
And ALX got the pool.
And little did you know, ladies and gentlemen, that's not actually a pool.
That is actually a massive, that is where we keep our leftist tears that we gather.
It empowers the show.
We have a massive amount of them.
We collect them.
All right.
We are the world's largest owner of leftist tears and they sit in ALX's backyard.
We keep them for a rainy, very salty, salty day.
All right.
And moving on to Sally Hull's comment.
Uh-oh, here we go.
Sally Hull.
Hey, Benny.
Love your show.
Every morning, look forward to the Benny Show,
coffee, and crochet.
I love that.
Can you send us a crochet, Sally?
Can you crochet our logo, like a brigade logo?
Can I get a crocheted tank?
I do have a question. I understand
if you don't want to answer, but what happened to make you move from Washington, D.C. and move
to Florida? I live in Illinois. Sad face emoji. I don't know if I can get my husband to move,
but I'm hoping to get better eventually. Many thanks to you and your whole staff. Do amazing
job. I'm praying for you all. Well, thank you so much. My parents actually live in Illinois and they moved down here to Tampa quite recently.
So, Sally, a couple of things. One, I never I never.
Never, I never like demand that we can't have everyone leave these states because then we won't have any Republicans, you know, anywhere.
And it's important for Republicans to remain even in some of these states that are ruled by these corrupt Democrat cities.
Right. You look at a state like Oregon or Washington, Portland and Seattle are these little dots that rule these red states.
Illinois, every county is red except for Cook County. Right.
In Chicago, you got one blue county that dominates over the entire state. these red states. Illinois, every county's red, except for Cook County, right, in Chicago. You
got like one blue county that like dominates over the entire state. And it is so many such cases
around the country, very sadly. So and so if you feel compelled to leave, like for me, for me and
my family, it was an issue of our safety. You know, we lived right in the heart, the belly of the
beast. I don't know where you live in Illinois. My parents lived in Rock Island. We lived in the
belly of the beast in Washington, D.C., on Capitol Hill. They defunded their police. We already lived
in a relatively unsafe neighborhood because we were dirt poor, right? And we lived in an unsafe
neighborhood. And then when they defunded the police, man, things got deeply dangerous.
And I've told the story before.
I'm happy to tell it again.
I still have the police reports.
We lived in a gangland area and we just brought home our little daughter, our firstborn.
And a gang war led to our house being lit ablaze.
There was a gang war where somebody went, smashed a window, dumped a bunch
of gasoline, lit a house on fire. That house was next door to ours, but not next door in like the
suburban sense, next door in like the row house sense. You ever seen these old row houses from
the East Coast where you share walls with people? So the fire set my house on fire. Black smoke
pouring through our home, pouring into my child's nursery, firefighters
breaking down the door. You can see it on the cameras, smoke billowing out and could have led
to the death of my child. And that's enough, right? Any righteous person says enough, right?
I flee to Egypt, you know, I leave, I take the child and i leave right i will not allow harm to to come to
my children and i'll do anything as a parent and so we up and love we didn't know a single soul
in florida we didn't know anyone we just up and left because we looked at places that were safe
to raise children this is one of them and so that's why we came here and this is you know we
oh we've been so happy with the move we've been so happy with the move. We've been so happy with the move.
In this state, I'll tell you this.
Like, this state loves its cops.
They bonus out their police.
If you're a cop and you move to Florida, you get a bonus.
There should be, like, homeless everywhere, right?
Because it's really nice weather most of the year.
But there's none.
You see a homeless person, they're, like, taken from, you, you know, like they're, boom, gone, boom, gone.
It's illegal to be homeless,
as it should be.
I'll say this.
I'm paraphrasing Mike Cernovich.
Who are the parks for?
Who are the parks for?
My children play in the little parks, right?
Little parks, they love them.
Who, what are the parks?
Are the parks for the children and the next generation,
the innocent, sweet, beautiful children so they can play outside and get sun and exercise?
Or are the parks for drug addicts who've squandered their lives and destroy communities and commit crimes? They're going to be for someone. So who's going to enforce that? The
drug addicts are scarier and carry needles with them and Lord knows what else.
And they'll scare off the kids.
So you make a choice.
You choose either the drug addict, the junkie, the criminal, or you choose the children and
your future.
And you actually make a choice where you live.
And that's one of the big dividing lines, right?
Many blue states, many such cases are
choosing the drug addicts, the illegal criminal alien, choosing the people who are not like the
future of this country. They prioritize filth, destruction, criminality over the only thing that
keeps a culture going, which is falling in love,
having children, creating family units, and then providing safe places for those children.
And so the moment that D.C. became unsafe for my child, I said, I am out of here, baby.
And I moved to the safest place I could possibly possibly find one of the safest places I could possibly find.
At the time, Ron DeSantis was giving five thousand dollar bonuses to cops who decided to move from like BLM defund the police states down to Florida.
And I'm like, punch my ticket, baby.
Ladies and gentlemen, we thank you for your questions.
We hope you punch your ticket into the Benny Brigade.
You can sign up for the Benny Brigade, bennyjohnson.com slash brigade.
Support our show, keep us independent.
We are deeply thankful, obviously, for your support.
How thankful are we?
We are so thankful that we will do a verse of the day
every single day
because that's the most important part of the show.
And that's the reason why we do the show
is to stay grounded on truth.
Grounded on truth. Spend some speculation
in the show about The Rock and his intentions. I read the comment section. A bunch of people
don't believe any of this stuff from The Rock is authentic. You do you, right? I'm speculating,
sort of like the greater overall landscape of what's going on. But this is what's really
important. What's really important
is that every show we have truth, and this is the truth. This is the truth from Romans 15.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace and believing so that by the power of the
Holy Spirit, you may abound in hope. Abound in hope, ladies and gentlemen, heading into this
weekend in this, the greatest country on earth. It's your boy, life. Be relentless. Keep charging. It matters how you talk to yourself, how you look at the world.
That matters.
We talk about that.
I don't know.
I'm fired up.
Baseball's back,
and it's going to be incredible.
I love it.
