Detectives arrive at Juliana Redding's house in Santa Monica, California.
It's a quiet neighborhood between Hollywood and the ocean.
There was no pulse.
So with the lividity, the blue lips, she was obviously, she'd been gone for a little while.
What looked like a neat, tidy crime scene at first turned out to be anything but.
We knew that something had happened
and that it wasn't an accident.
The murder investigation quickly focused
on a glamorous older man, a doctor, her boss,
and maybe her lover.
Such a manipulator, such a master craftsman
at manipulation, he's evil.
But if you think this is gonna be an open and shut case,
you haven't been listening to the binge for very long.
Because what unravels
is a dark Hollywood script of deception.
What the hell did you do to me?
You left gauze in my arm, you f***ing idiot.
Fraud to the tune of $150 million.
I need to see the doctor and I need to see the doctor right fricking now.
This is wrong, just absolutely wrong.
An alleged murder for hire.
It's a woman and I was like, what?
And I was like, what's her name?
Do what he says, or else.
From Sony Music Entertainment and Western Sound, this is Doctor's Orders, coming August 1st
to the binge.
