Welcome to the show, Blow it, Eddie. And we do have the Super Bowl that I think is the most
entertaining Super Bowl of all the Super Bowls. Let's live it back. It's the Mighty Chiefs and the Mighty
Eagles. Let's first talk about the play that everybody, Mahom, my home, my home's got all the calls.
Shut up. Everybody shut up. I feel like they went out of the way to not give Mahomes certain calls.
I think so.
Because they know that's been what's happening.
So the one call that everybody wants to focus on
so everybody can have their opinion on it.
And we will go around the room and let everybody have their opinion
is the Josh Allen sneak, midfield,
did not get it.
It was a bit of a tush push sneak type situation.
Kevin, give us your opinion first.
Let's all be completely transparent.
Kevin did bet on the bills.
You're talking about the first down?
I'm talking about the one where they did not get the first down.
Yeah, yeah.
The one that they got the first down.
that didn't get the first down?
That one.
That's what I thought.
Okay, that's it.
Just making sure we're talking about the same one.
Okay, let him have his time.
We're talking about the same one.
60 seconds on the clock for you to cry, little baby.
Go ahead.
No, you saw it live.
I saw it live and I'm like, yeah, he for sure got it.
You saw one ref on one side running, and he clearly had it marked as a first down.
The other ref running the other side.
He's like, no, no, no, back here.
And they review it.
And you're like, all right, cool, they'll get it right.
Of course they didn't get it right.
You got Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City on the other side.
You can't get it right.
So as they're driving, try to put the game away, possibly, because they're up one at that point, I believe.
You got to give the ball back to Patrick Mahomes.
They can't get this and they didn't get it.
Patrick scores.
And I will say, though, the bills, why the heck did you keep going for that sneak when it wasn't working?
But they did get that sneak.
That's his 60 seconds.
Boo Boo, boo need you cry?
Boobo need a bottle?
Okay.
Reed, did you even watch any games?
Yeah, it was so rigged, dude.
I was kidding.
I didn't watch it.
He didn't watch the games at all?
No, dude, I was with Matt.
Maddie. We're doing marriage stuff, man.
Wait, does that mean sex?
No, not yet.
That sounds like.
To people when you say marriage, that's what that mean.
Marriage counseling.
But in night, the game was at 6 p.m.
Oh, yeah, I guess that is true.
We don't care because you don't watch.
That's not your thing.
We were doing something.
You're making it to dinner.
Yeah, your thing is to like, you know, video.
Exactly.
Content.
I'll pull the clips.
You just let me know what to play.
I would think, though, after so much sports talk that he sits around and listens to
that he'd want to.
When I was gambling,
it's all I wanted to do
was watch sports.
But since he called the number on himself
to make him stop gambling
because he was winning too much,
he really hasn't been as focused in.
If you go to the Super Bowl,
would that be the first game all year
that you watch beginning to end?
Absolutely.
Oh, gosh.
This is why he shouldn't go to the Super Bowl.
It'll be the one I bet on too.
I'm coming out of retirement.
Are you kidding me for that?
So, Reed, thank you for your 60 seconds.
Of course.
Eddie, you have 60 seconds?
Go.
look, those are always so hard.
I'm not there.
Like, we see it on TV.
We don't even know where the camera's lined up, right?
Like, what angle do we have?
Yes, did one ref from the bottom have one line?
The ref from the, it looked like the guy on the top, though, had a line, and then a player
got in his way, and he was like, oh, shoot, I got to make up a line.
And he kind of moved back where he shouldn't have been.
Honestly, I think he did get the first down.
If I was the ref, I probably would have given him the first down.
But honestly, I don't know, dude.
We're at home.
We don't know what kind of TV angles.
we're getting. So I say he got it though. Do you think it was rigged? No. No. This is the first year I've
thought that none of the NFL games have been rigged. This is the first year because you're right. I think
that if they wanted to rig anything, L.A. would have gone to the Super Bowl. L.A. probably would have won
the Super Bowl in honor of the wildfires. In honor of them? Yes. I can agree with that.
Okay. Casey, you're on the clock. Yeah, I mean, I had the Chiefs winning. So I guess I
I'm happy with the result, but I mean, that definitely looked like a first down to me.
So I understand that it was a high leverage situation, and one ref had one spot, the other
ref had the other spot, and then they kind of met in the middle, and it was a little short.
It is what it is.
I still think the bills kind of just, you know, lost that game.
They had a chance to win it.
And if they're going to complain that that one call was the difference maker, I think they got to suck it up, you know?
So I did bet on Kansas City.
I want everybody to know because if I'm going to give my opinion, you should.
know where my money was. By the way, I went 10 for 11 and betting.
Look at you. I was on freaking fire. You got that parlay early too. The touchdown parley?
The one I did, the parley I didn't hit was Kareem Hunt, Travis Kelsey both scoring a touchdown.
I bet $200 for like $200 and Hunt scored the first drive. Yeah, he did. And I was like, boys,
we're about to hit hard because I hit a three game, a three touchdowner the game before.
Terry McLaren, Jalen Hertz, and Sekewan all to score touchdown. Nice.
I thought I was about to go 11 for 11 on the day.
So, but I hit, 10 for 11, I made like $3,000, which is, hey.
Awesome.
But here's the thing, and you can look at my stats, if you want to see them, I'll show them to you.
I'm still down like $1,500 because I had a really bad.
I was so cold at the beginning of January.
I needed that yesterday to kind of get back in the mix.
Climbing it back in, yeah.
But I had a great day.
I did about on Kansas City to win.
So I watched the play.
The ref that had the actual angle had the shorter spot.
Is he the bottom one or the top one?
Watching the TV.
Maybe.
The bottom.
The bottom.
Because he had the actual open.
He could see the ball from his side.
The guy from the top could see Josh Allen's back.
So his spot was a little more generous.
But it was like three inches, right?
So they go and they use the spot of the guy that could see Josh Allen's chest.
Although a lot of the ball was covered.
So then they decided to go and review it.
Now, the thing about the review is if they can't 100% reverse it,
They won't. I think had they given him a better spot at the beginning, it would have stayed a first down.
Because I don't think you could really see a jury couldn't convict it because it wasn't a hundred.
Do I think he probably got it? Yeah, probably about like an inch of the football.
Yeah.
If it was like, I just think we need sensors on the freaking balls.
Yes, and the lines.
So do I think he got it?
Yes, and probably just barely.
But they can't reverse that if it's so.
close and there's any doubt.
So I think it was the right call upon review, a very difficult call whenever you're calling it,
but the right ref had the right spot because he was the one that could see it.
But that's also not the play that lost the game.
There were many plays because they should have got the play before that.
They were just sneak in the two-point conversion sneak.
Yeah.
What the heck was he was like running the option almost to get to that.
And then he tried to pitch it to the guy.
There was a lot, but I can definitely understand Buffalo fans being frustrated with that.
But I don't think, I didn't see anything last night that I thought was great ammunition for the,
they're really working to help Patrick Mahomes.
I haven't thought Mahomes knew he wasn't going to get the calls.
So he was going down earlier.
He was getting out of bounds quicker.
Because there were refs, I think there were refs, like old refs even talking about it,
going into it, going, hey, we want to make sure that it's a physical game.
the refs want to make sure it's a physical game
and they don't want it to be left to the refs
for all of this controversy.
Was he getting calls the week before?
For sure. Brady and Mahomes, we did this.
They got all the calls.
What do we do?
You get all the calls.
But I don't think that
there was a crazy Kansas City bias yesterday.
If anything, I think Mahomes
and Kansas City knew there wouldn't be,
so they had to
overly do things the right way.
There were no flops.
There were no late slots.
There was a terrible spike.
I'll have to allow him on my own.
Oh, gosh, what was you trying to do there?
He's trying to fight.
He's trying to fight. He's trying to fight. He was asked about it after and he goes, that's why I don't spike the ball.
He's trying to spike the ball and it like slips out of his hand.
He like throws it six yards instead.
It was awkward.
But how about that?
Another great game between those two.
I mean, I wish that was a Super Bowl.
You know, like I feel like, oh, I just wish the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills would be the Super Bowl.
Josh Allen, that's four losses.
Two Mahomes.
So it's done, right?
We now know who King Dingling is.
Well, I think we knew,
but Josh Allen has had success in the regular season,
and the bills had a...
There have been times that he's lost him in the divisional round
when Kansas City was the better team,
and it was a Josh Allen L to a better Mahomes,
Kansas City offense.
I still think Josh Allen's probably
the second best quarterback with Lamar.
I mean, I don't think anyone's going,
And he's not, but that's the monkey on his back.
Now, Lamar's is the playoffs.
Josh Allen's is Patrick Mahomes.
That's it.
Yeah, because he puts up the same numbers, essentially.
Like in their head-to-head in those four matchups, it's pretty similar.
Plays really well.
Really well.
Like Lamar doesn't play that well.
Right.
Where Josh Allen actually plays even better.
Not better than Mahomes, but I'm saying better than Lamar.
It's a good game.
It had a Super Bowl-type feel, though, even like in the third quarter.
Yeah, it was awesome.
It was tight.
You're like, oh, gosh, what's going to happen here?
Yeah, it's good.
I felt like I was watching a Patriots game.
I was like so tight the whole time.
I was like, what the heck?
Yeah, James Cook, too, showed up at a few of those touchdowns soon.
Well, I don't understand why they didn't use them more.
I don't get it.
On the fourth and short.
They did at the end.
They tried.
They gave him the ball like five times in a row, but.
That touchdown role was awesome, though.
Hey, my boy, Samajé, with the final catch and put it out.
It's awesome, dude.
I message him.
I was like, let's go.
You didn't message him?
Yeah, of course I did.
I love it.
You know, he didn't play much, and then out of the backfield on that final play to
Clench it.
Comes out of nowhere.
Yeah.
Ah, what a game.
I think also just McDermott just will never be able to beat Andy Reed either.
It just seems like it's just a complete out.
He definitely got out-coached.
And then please, can we just not do the interview, like the loser coach interview?
Yeah.
It's so sad.
It's so sad.
I would agree it sucks.
Yeah.
And there's nothing that we want to hear him say.
Like there's like for entertainment value, there's nothing there.
We just don't want to see them.
Yeah.
I can agree with that.
And it's awkward for us to even watch.
Because they go and even like the TV is like,
Yeah, cheese, cheese, yeah, you got to fight for your right.
Let's talk to coach.
Hey, coach, I'm sorry about this.
How are you feeling right now about the game?
It's terrible.
It's cool to see Mahomes still get so fired up about winning.
He's won.
I mean, what, he's been to, what, seven AFC championships in a row?
Seven, yeah, seven championships in a row.
And, like, I mean, he was fired freaking up.
It was cool.
I enjoyed it.
Also, I bet on it, but I did want Kansas City to win because we're going,
and I want to see, I wanted to see Kansas.
City and the Eagles. That would have been the most fun Super Bowl. It's a rematch. That game was
amazing. Yeah, a couple years ago. Yeah, Jaylon Hurts played great. I've ordered to go back
a few hours. He played great. Sequin, dude, like first series.
First touch. Right. It was the first touch. It was like ballgame, that's it. And it wasn't
ballgame. That's it right away. But it got so out of hand. Early third quarter, I went a
dedicated time to my wife. Yeah. Smart. Because I knew the game left. Yes. Good move.
Because I knew that was over, and she's not going to bust my balls.
She knows it's AFC and SU Championship, but I went and dedicated some time to her to hang out
because I was going to go watch the game later, and it was over.
And then I just kept checking it.
It was like 40, 50.
Worse and worse.
Another fumble.
I stopped at 41, and I came back as a 55.
I was like, oh my goodness.
Jane Daniels played pretty well at the beginning of the game.
He just got out of hand.
Turnovers.
Yep. So Washington's going to be good
and good for them.
Man, what a... I just hate their colors and hate their logo.
I think their uniforms are awesome, by the way.
That's cool. I just only associate it with losing.
Yeah, that's fair. You like the color? I do. Dark red? I don't know why.
Is that red?
Yeah. It's like a... Burgan. Burgin. Maroon. I should be drawn to it, but it's just
it's the yellow with it, I think. Sure. Because the Kansas City yellow is not as prevalent
unless it's like in their shoes or their hands.
It's like a little accessory on it. It's very red and white. And I think that's also
I'm drawing to Kansas City. I love red.
So, yeah. I'm trying to think, like, the Rams yellow, I can't stand that yellow.
The Rams. That yellow is the same as the Kansas City yellow. Hold on. The Rams have yellow.
They have a little yellow in there. It's like IKEA. Oh, yellow. I'm thinking of red.
Yeah, yellow. It's blue and yellow. He mixed up the colors.
Dude, my brain was not. I could not figure out Earth as a whole right then. That's okay. You're handicapped.
Oh, my gosh. Okay. The, yeah, I don't like the yellow with the red. I think.
think. And also it just is a losing
logo. It feels like
Which one, Washington's? Yeah, it's just a loser.
What's the logo? A W?
Yeah, straight up. Yeah, that's weird. But they're all
blacks are sick.
That's cool. Is that what they wore
yesterday? No. Okay. Other
losing, like, loser logos,
I just think of losers
throughout the history. First of all, Jacksonville,
I hate their uniforms because
they suck. They just remind me of losers.
That Jaguar.
Unfortunately, yeah. That's just a
Turquoise.
Yes, it's just a losing color and a losing logo.
No offense to you, but the old Patriots with their finger down, that to me is a loser.
The old Buccaneer logo.
Losers.
Losers.
Popsicle, what do they call that?
That funky orange.
Orange.
Popsicle.
I don't mind the cream single color, but the Buccaneer guy on the helmet.
That's a loser to me.
And they're cool logos.
That's what sucks.
And when they wear the old school back, I like it.
And that's like, oh, it's cool.
But as a kid, I hate it.
them because they lost. What's the name of the Patriot?
Pat. Okay, Pat, you're right, dude. Pat, they were terrible.
And it just, I only associate that with losers. So, the new Patriot logo, I don't, that is a winning
logo. But I don't even like that logo. See, I do because I just feel like winners wear that.
Other loser logos on my head that I think of. Because it, Jacksonville, Jacksonville comes to mind.
The Dolphins for me. The Titans, too. It's a loser to color. It's a little logo. Oh, yeah.
Hey Mike, do we have the audio for my Titans?
I can play it from my phone if not.
I forgot to do this.
And I wonder, because I wonder if I should talk about this.
Is it a good morning football clip?
Yep.
Yep.
Okay.
So, yeah, screw it.
We have been.
I don't even know what you're going to talk about.
We've been able to do some cool stuff on our show too much access where we go out and we, you know, play ball, talk to coaches.
And so we live where the Titans are.
and over the past years
they have not let us come and do too much access
or interview and we're like, we're down the road.
Yeah, we live here.
We're one of you.
Like, we flew to L.A.
to hang out with the chargers.
So we're doing, and I would just be like,
we're just down the road.
And we've done like 50 episodes
and it's a good show.
And they would be like,
nah, nah, nah, nah, okay.
And I'm trying to take that personally,
but they've also sucked as well.
So it's been, they're down the road
and they've sucked.
That's two reasons that you want to have some good.
Yeah.
Like some...
Yeah, like show people.
And so they invited us to come back this year and I was like, we're good.
Oh, nice.
And it's not even that I don't.
I hope they win.
Then we got to...
There's a new general manager, a new coach last year.
Yeah, they've cleaned house.
So maybe there's someone that they let go that didn't want us there.
Regardless, I just am like, you know, I think we're going to be okay.
we're going to pass on this one.
And I only knew they invited me after I went on Good Morning Football.
And I don't know if they heard this.
Heck, they may rescind their invitation.
And I was talking about the Titans.
It wasn't glowing.
And I'll play it for you now.
Go ahead.
It sucks.
The Titans suck.
I'll just be honest.
The Titans suck.
That's why they got the first pig.
They're terrible.
The colors look slow.
It's weird that colors are even slow.
but even our colors look slow.
So everything about the Titans is an absolute disaster.
Derek Henry goes, has a great season.
It's a mess.
We have the number one pick.
I'm sure somehow we're going to trade for like a Babe Ruth from the Red Sox to the Yankees
for like a Broadway play.
Like that's what I expect us to do.
We're going to trade our best pick for a Broadway play or something.
So no, it's a disaster.
And nobody wants to go to the games because it's cold.
But we're building a new stadium.
Nice.
And, well, that's all we have to hang our hat on.
So I said that.
And the old Babe Ruth thing is they traded him for money so they started to play.
Like Bad Ruth was the Red Soxed the Benbino.
Yeah.
And so I was like, well, that's what the Titans are going to end up doing, trading the first big for like the wicked.
The wicked production.
Not even the real wicked.
So I kind of went hard there.
But that's how I feel.
Like we suck.
And if you suck, you know, we're going to go to a cold game.
So, but then the invite came after.
And that was on NFL network.
And I wonder, do they hear that?
And they go like, we need to get them back.
or do they not hear that?
Now they're like, we hate them,
but we already said no.
I don't know if they watch that,
because I don't know if they would invite you after that.
Yeah, I kind of went hard.
It was the next day, too.
Yeah, no, it was the next day.
They might have missed that one.
So, okay, Eagles and Chiefs,
that's what's up.
When it opened on Draft Kings,
it was Kansas City minus one and a half,
same as it was with Buffalo.
I jumped on it immediately.
I put like 500 bucks on Kansas City minus.
one and a half.
I don't know if it's going to move,
but I'll check it right now.
I'm assuming it's probably
going to be about the same right now,
but that's fun, and we're going to go.
And an update on that in just a second.
Yeah.
Wait, do you know the update?
No. You're acting like you know something.
No, I'm just ready.
Nobody knows anything, man.
Okay, standby.
Right.
I'm scared. I am scared, man. I'm shaking in my boots.
Did you guys see that sequence of plays
when with the tush push in the Washington game
where they kept going off sides
and the ref actually had to warn Washington
Yeah, they can give a free touchdown.
Yeah, that's crazy.
But I almost like don't blame Washington though
because it's like what else are you supposed to do?
You have to kind of jump the snap count
in order to actually stop it.
It's all time right.
They got to like figure something out
because that was kind of ridiculous for a little while.
Take notes from the chiefs, I guess.
I don't know.
It's still minus one and a half.
So I didn't know that rule
but I looked it up after.
Yeah.
And I forget the exact name of it,
but if you keep jumping,
It's like madden if you keep like jumping off sides,
they'll just cancel the game and go that person loses.
Really?
But they can give a touchdown to a team if another team like bladently cheats.
Right.
Like jumping off or like.
In that situation,
it's like you can't even blame them really, you know?
Because they're going to get it anyway.
Right.
So let's try to time it.
Yeah.
The chiefs were jumping and timing it right.
Yeah.
They were.
Yeah.
Because of that thing with Allen always going left.
Even Romo brought that up.
Yeah.
That was crazy.
Yeah.
But yeah, they're like, how do you stop?
That crap.
I don't, the touch, push, I think they should get rid of.
I know.
And everybody can do it.
And it's free.
Everybody can do it.
It's just boring to watch.
So I don't think it's like cheating and everybody can do it fairly.
But as just a consumer, just watches on television, when they do it, you're like automatic.
It's like watching an outside kick, but the opposite.
You're like, for sure this is not going to work.
But how come like it just started, what, three years ago, four years ago?
The Eagles, yeah.
Right.
So like, that's crazy that football's been around for so long, but they just.
invented a play where it's like it's guaranteed.
If you're one two yards away, it's guaranteed a touchdown.
And now we want to get rid of it?
I don't think so, Vones.
I understand that it's fair, and I don't think there is a disadvantage for anyone.
But I think the reason that the tush push became, I think it was a timing and a personnel
like all coming together because you're talking about a quarterback that can squat
a gazillion pounds, right?
Yeah, and Jason Kelsey.
So, yeah, sure.
Revolutionary.
Great.
It's crazy.
And also they started to elect.
a bit of players touching and pushing each other,
which that was highly...
And you're not really supposed to do that now as to help,
but they loosened up that rule.
So, again, personnel and timing.
I don't like it as a viewer.
But do I think it's unfair? No.
It's absolutely fair.
Part of the game.
I can't wait for them to change the onside kick, though,
because I hope that they do the fourth and 20.
Fourth and 20 is weird to call it,
but it's like you have one shot to get a 20-yard play
to get the ball back.
You've got to still call it onside, right?
Or like, do we just keep it the same?
That's a kick.
I know, but it's just like, to use a, hey, come on, the fourth and 20, let's go, baby.
We're going to do a Hail Mary, fourth and 20, we're going to win this game.
That just sounds weird.
They'll have to change the name of it.
To like a, to like a, survive.
Get the ball bat.
Yeah, it needs a cool name.
Yeah, it does.
And something that sounds better than get the ballback play.
Get the ballback.
But that's, you know, what it is.
So, yeah, it's a good day.
that she and even again the commanders they had a good half they did it was close right like 14 to 12 at one point
they had a good first drive and they played with house money yeah in the way of nobody expected
them we get that i'm sure they did and they've said i've watched dan quentin another player said we're not
playing with house money we expected to be here from the perception of the football fan they were playing
with house money no one's watching going like those freaking losers in it sure everybody's like man
i can't wait to see them next year if you're a commander's fan
Although it stings to lose, you're going, what a ride.
That was amazing.
We're really looking forward to next year.
And that's the best thing is if you can look forward to next year when that year is over.
Other than a championship, I just haven't got to experience any championships in my life, so I don't know what that is.
But like Arkansas football, I don't feel like next year is going to be any better than this year.
It sucks.
So you have nothing really to look forward to.
I look forward to getting my hopes up and get them dashed again.
But right now they're not up.
So I'm looking forward to them going up.
But then also...
At some point.
Yeah, also the great stock market crash will happen.
Yeah.
Like week three.
Yeah.
So, Commanders fans, good for you.
That's pretty cool.
And then afterward, you see Zach Ertz.
He's coming out and...
Fletcher.
London Fletcher Cox.
Yeah.
Oh, Fletcher Cox.
He was like, that's cool
because Ertz was an eagle for a long time.
Yeah, he won the Super Bowl.
Yeah.
So, there you go.
That's our talk about last night.

I'm Ego Vodam.
My next guest, you know from Sincol, you know from Sincol,
Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network.
It's Will Ferrell.
Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo.
My dad gave me the best advice ever.
I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot.
I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent.
He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet.
Yeah.
He goes, but there's so much luck involved.
And he's like, just give it a shot.
He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall
and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.
It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat.
Just hang in there.
Yeah, it would not be.
Right, it wouldn't be that.
There's a lot of luck.

A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey
from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the
way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement
to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show. This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with
some of your favorite athletes, creators,
and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated.
One week I'll take you behind the scenes of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment,

So the question is,
five people, four Super Bowl tickets.
Except I'm getting a ticket
because of my tickets.
So it's four people,
three Super Bowl tickets.
That's fair.
We are going to fairly
figure out who gets the three tickets.
This would absolutely be fair.
And, well, let me play a couple of voicemails first because people have ideas here.
This is Abby from Minnesota.
Go ahead.
I have a six year Super Bowl ticket problem.
Sorry, Reed.
You're getting the cut.
He is leaving you, right?
He's moving away from the role with you, right?
Guy's gone.
Sorry.
Super Bowl is Mike, Eddie, Bobby, Kevin.
Perfect.
Sounds good.
So I would say this is more of a reward for the past than an investment in the
investment in the future. So you reward someone for just quitting on you?
Leaving you? Read. I don't feel like you're just quitting or just a way long.
Would you like to explain what's happening in your life and why you must leave the show?
Okay. All right. Yeah. So my fiance, Maddie, is in medical school. She's in rotations right now.
She's about to start her residency program. In Nashville, they require a specific test that in her school,
she's not able to do.
So she couldn't even apply for residency in Nashville
even if she wanted to.
So residency programs will start
in August of next year,
and so she is applying to a bunch of different programs,
but Nashville is just not in the cards.
We're getting married in June,
so we've got to go wherever her residency program takes her.
Sounds like he's quitting.
Mm-hmm.
It's tough.
I understand.
But she knows how important, you know, my work is,
And so we're trying to fight for the best alternative to where I could still be able to do stuff here in Nashville and maintain, you know, relationships and stuff like that.
And so that would be Franklin.
Exactly.
Murphsboro.
Yes.
Exactly.
Murphy's Bureau.
So Memphis is the possibility?
Yeah, it's the number one.
I mean, I'm pretty confident.
But that's also like proximity to home too for you guys, right?
For sure.
Yeah.
Her family is about an hour away.
It's not just about this job.
I don't want to, like, we're just doing it up for 25 whizzles.
Yeah.
But that is.
Yeah, very true.
Yeah.
And Memphis is three?
Yeah, three hours.
Yeah.
So I also think of it as a reward, not an investment in the future, as I said.
So I'm not going to cut read because he's not going to be here.
Interesting.
I would also say, well, let me play something.
First, because I think they have something to say.
Play the next one, please.
Hi, I have been listening to the podcast for the show and for 25 whistles and heard the segment about the Super Bowl.
And I think that because Casey can't go because he's the newest to the show,
maybe Eddie shouldn't necessarily be able to go because he did leave the show at one point.
And everybody else has stuck with every season and every episode of 25 whistles.
Just the thought.
Dang.
That was a little political, though.
Another logical argument.
See, what happened there, though, was my wife, you know, she's doing a residency.
Okay, so that is it.
That is presented.
They've probably done more episodes than you have.
More work.
I'll put it this way.
I didn't want to leave.
I didn't want to leave.
When I took that,
I didn't want to take that break.
And Reed doesn't want to have to move away from 25 whistles.
So the want to is really not an argument.
She's just saying they've done more episodes,
which is why Casey's not getting a ticket because he's the newest.
So do you co-sign that on?
No, no.
No, no.
Not cosigning any of that.
Okay.
I don't either.
Okay.
But I appreciate everybody that's calling and giving feedback on this.
Yeah, that's great.
Because it's excellent.
We are next week on Tuesday after the show.
We're taking a bus.
And Matt Stel, also on a bus.
Because Eddie and I are going to play a couple charity shows on the way down.
We're going to play in Atlanta.
I just read that maybe everything sold out.
No way.
We've never even, come on.
We've only been on the air in Atlanta for like eight months, six.
I don't know how long.
Yeah, something like that.
I definitely.
did not expect.
And this is the Superdome?
No, dude, that was on the ball game you're watching.
Got it.
Yeah, you're watching the bowl game for that one.
Like, dang, we sold out the Superdome.
Okay, so, Rod just said Atlanta is sold out.
When Your Way in only, we'll check on Mobile.
And I said Mobile is sold out.
So what we were worried about was going and nobody being there.
Yeah.
Because, again, we don't really have a massive, our podcast,
It's a semi-strong, but it's not like the show has been there.
We've been able to have a bunch of listeners to do it.
So we're going to go down and play Atlanta on Tuesday night, get on the bus, drive Wednesday,
Wednesday night, we're going to play mobile, drive, spend the night on the bus.
You ever bust it like touring?
Not like that, no.
You'll like it.
It's a little weird night one because you're just like, but Reid, do you have?
Yeah.
On the bus, though, or just?
I think the only bus thing is when we did too much access with the bus.
So not like fully stay in the night.
Oh, we did Cincinnati.
But back and forth the same day.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah, okay.
But you just live in the bus.
Dude, I'm pumped.
So, we'll do the bus.
Did you tell them the rules on the bus?
No poop in it.
No poop on the bus.
You have to poop somewhere else.
Let's get that clear right now.
All right, Reed.
No maintenance dudes.
Is there a traumatic experience?
I didn't see the tools.
Come on, man.
I'll focus.
We'll play the two shows, and then we'll get to New Orleans on Thursday morning.
actually late Wednesday night, Mel the night, Thursday morning.
Then Thursday morning, I can probably pull up who we have confirmed so far.
Yeah.
Do you know?
For guests?
Have you seen?
Just the one that I mean, you know, number 22.
You only know one?
22.
Okay.
So we have Emmett Smith confirmed.
Yeah.
That is awesome.
We have, and again, confirmed is if they don't get sick or whatever else.
We have Dion Sanders confirmed.
Oh, my gosh.
Fine time.
We have, it looks like, in all the spots,
aren't full yet. We've got two cowboys, so Troy Aikman. It looks like Nico Collins.
Well, that's cool. Nice.
Because we wanted somebody current. It looks like Greg Olson.
Oh, awesome. That's great. Which would be super cool. I think he, I mean, he's the best.
No, he does a great job. Yeah, he's awesome. Reggie Bush.
Oh. Whoa.
Wendy's commercials, right?
Yeah. Yeah, I did a little time of USC as well. Hizman.
I remember that. I remember that.
Braxton Barrios from the Dolphins
will be the first one on Thursday
and so far that's what we got
That's pretty awesome
Still a couple spots open
But pretty cool
That'll be who's on the show next week
We've got a cool stage and everything too
Have you seen like a drawing?
Is it like a one we at a Fanatics Fest?
Yeah but it'll even have like a digital
Screen on the front like a TV like your desk here
And it'll say like 25 whistles
The logo on it and everything
Fancy
You know I have a Gettie
You know, Gettie images?
It's kind of like a database for like if you want a picture of Britney Spears, go to Gettie,
whatever they have it.
We have to pay for it.
Yeah, yeah.
So I have a membership just for work.
And I don't know.
I was looking for a picture for you.
And it popped up a picture, a couple pictures of us doing interviews at Fanatics Fest.
So it's crazy.
There was a Gettie photographer walking around and took a picture of us and posted that.
Nice.
Do you have the ability to get the, like it's paid for?
You can use the pictures?
Yeah, I can use it.
Do you want it?
I don't know.
I don't know.
It's really just, it's us.
interviewing, I believe, Adam Schaefter.
That's pretty cool.
Yeah, it's pretty awesome.
I think, too, look, what do I know?
What's going to happen?
We're going to have a bus.
The radio station is actually parked across the street, kind of, from where we're going to be.
So even our, and we'll do some podcast stuff on the bus, because we're not going to do it
on the stage.
I don't know, maybe we'll find people there and just like, come over to the bus.
That's cool.
We'll interview.
But their rules, no pooping on the bus.
That's true.
Yeah.
But also, so we do our thing for two days and then the NFL show that we're doing.
And you should hang around because Matt and I are doing stuff, and people are coming
over to that too. Oh yeah. Do you know who we have over there yet? I saw some stuff.
I have definitely Cam Jordan off top of my head.
He lives there, right? Yeah, probably. Well, he plays for the Saints.
I think, yeah. What? I don't think that he lives in New Orleans. Oh, I thought you meant like at the
no. By the radio station? Yes. Rolls out of bed.
Yeah. I don't know. I've seen a whole list and it was pretty solid. Yeah, there's a big
list. Because that's like the NFL.
And I think people are just going to come by.
I think it's going to be just a fun time.
Okay.
Boom.
Got that.
Mike, do you need to...
So here's what we're going to do.
Reed.
Of Mike, Kevin, and Eddie.
Yep.
Just pick somebody.
Pick somebody?
I think it's fair to say.
Mike.
Okay.
Pick somebody for what?
Who knows?
Oh, just pick someone.
Yeah.
So Kevin, since Reed has picked Mike,
you and Eddie are now the team.
So what we're going to do is you're not actually a team.
What's going to happen is we have the old Connect 4 game here.
Oh my gosh.
You're going to play the person that...
I've been playing all weekend, baby.
Is he really?
Yeah, I got on my phone.
I've been doing multiplayer.
How did you know that's what we were going to do?
It's just sitting right there.
I assumed.
I never said anything to him.
He just saw it.
I was going to be very upset if we were like bringing out the game of life or something instead.
You did mention it the other day.
But you didn't mention it.
Passing.
Okay, got it.
So you don't, if you lose, I'm still bad.
If you lose, you're not out.
You're one of the two people that are out.
Gotcha.
I am not good at this game.
I'm terrible.
Are any of us good?
I don't know.
Mike's going to be sneaky good.
No, I hate that.
I got a losing record.
Okay, but Kevin and I are a team.
No, no, no.
You're playing each other.
Oh.
It's like Squid game.
When they're like, pick somebody and all of a sudden, it's one of the two that are going to lose.
So let's set it up.
Reid, if you don't mind
saying it up real quick.
We're going to play.
I'm going to do it on the stage over there.
Yeah.
And we'll keep going.
We'll take a little break for a commercial.
And then we have some other stuff to talk about.
But Reid will be setting it up.
And what we'll do is we'll video it
and we'll put the whole video up of the game.
But we won't do the whole game on the podcast.
We'll just update you at the end as to who won.
Okay.
So at the very end, we'll break, Mike.
We'll play the games.
and then we'll put an end on the show.
Okay.
But all this is still on the show as of now.
Let's do a little break.
We'll come right back.
This ain't no little bitty, itty bitty teeny bowl.

Eddie, I do want to talk about your head coach, Dallas Cowboys.
Yeah, what do you want to talk about?
We're wasting another two years of our existence.
Yes.
You did say that would not be a sexy hire.
And this definitely is the opposite of a sexy hire.
God, what are we doing?
So you have no faith or hope because I would think there's a bit of hope when you have no idea about somebody, at least a bit.
I think there's less hope if you're getting like a retread that's done it three times and you're going, oh man, he's failed here and here.
We're doing this.
I'd feel less hope in that than somebody that you have no understanding of what they're going to do as a head coach.
Do you remember Quincy Carter?
Absolutely.
Play for the Georgia.
Do you remember?
and the quarterback, play quarterback.
Dave Campo.
Yeah.
I feel like that's the season
we're going into again.
Like, and now bones with...
You have a quarterback though.
I mean, you do have...
Quincey Carter, again, was a bit of an experiment.
Wasn't a quarterback you were paying a bunch of money to.
You at least have a quarterback.
You at least have a number one wide receiver.
You at least have probably Michael...
I haven't paid Micah Parsons yet, have they?
Not yet.
So I think it's a bit...
I hear you. You're the cowboy fan.
I am, and I'm just telling you what we're all thinking.
And especially now with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Super Bowl and then the commanders with just a great team going into next year.
Dude, we're probably not going to make the playoffs again.
So if you do want two years to rebuild your team and maybe kind of we're going to lose the next couple years,
we're going to have a Schottenheimer as our head coach.
We'll rebuild and then we'll try to make the playoffs in year three.
Possibly that's what they're thinking.
but to me...
I don't think it's a placeholder.
I do.
I think Pete Carroll's a placeholder
with the Raiders.
Oh, really?
Did you see him practicing and throwing the passes?
Yeah, man, that was awesome.
In practice?
No, but I mean, I've seen it before.
I know he's 73.
And he's still...
He moves better than I do.
Well, everything breaks on you, dude.
True.
Exactly.
And by Pete Carroll, I don't mean just like
a placeholder, like, who knows, generic.
Like, I think they're bringing him in for the same reason
they brought Riverboat Ron in places.
Yeah.
He's that success.
Culture reset.
Absolutely.
And they couldn't get Ben Johnson.
So they went and got Pete Carroll who they believe in and has won
and can get players to play for him and can get coaches to coach for him.
But I feel like that is a placeholder until they're able to find their guy.
Because he's old.
I don't think Schottinheimer's a placeholder, man.
What's pretty crazy is he is the 10th head coach the Dallas Cowboys have had.
I don't just realize how young of a franchise they are.
He's the 10th head coach.
How old is Jerry now, too?
He's like 83 or something.
Something? Like, I mean, it's kind of like, yeah, man.
Did you see that meme?
That was mean. I'm not going to say it. Forget it.
It was a Yoda? They compared him to Yoda. I saw that. That was the best thing ever.
Jerry Jones to Yoda? Yeah. They made Yoda white. He looks like Jerry Jones. It's incredible. You got to see it.
Dang, I don't want you going on my boy Jerry.
That's what I'm saying. I did laugh a little bit. It's fantastic, though.
What do you think, Bones?
Honestly, honestly. I think I would be disappointed because there were a,
a few people that I think I would have
rather had knowing only what I know
and only knowing who I talk to. I will
say that I do, and I have
limited actual sources anyway, but I do have a few more sources
now that I know Matt, Castle?
Sure. Because he's friends with like Kevin O'Connell, not our
Kevin. He's friends with like Kevin O'Connell.
I am too, dude. We're friends too.
Pete Carroll coached him.
Yeah. At USC. Like he knows people and he like
and with Matt and I, I don't know if we'll talk about this on our show over there,
but we, that process to do that
because Matt came on this show first as an interview
when I was kind of going,
who do I want to be the co-host?
Because NFL had been like,
and I didn't want to do another show
because this is like our baby.
Like we own this show.
But when NFL comes calling,
you go, I'll do that as well.
That's crazy.
I get to work for the NFL.
That's wild.
And so I was like, well,
I don't want to do it
if I don't have somebody
that has credibility.
So they were like,
whomever you want.
Like I was on the phone
with Colt McCoy having calls with him.
I was talking.
So when I got to know Matt,
we were just,
it was kind of like,
slam. Okay, I like them.
But you have to start working immediately.
We did all this work during Christmas break and then they delayed it.
So Matt and I, my point with the story is Matt Castle and I, we had never hung out.
We've only been together working here and then in my house, though.
And I like him, but it's like we'll talk a little before and after, but it's always like work, work, work.
Well, finally he was like, dude, let's just go hang out.
And so we went to lunch on Friday.
And it's pretty cool to talk to somebody that knows actual stuff.
Because what the crap do we know?
Nothing.
We just watch and have opinions.
And I got like a few people I know that have a,
but really to talk to like somebody who played for that long,
who has all,
he knows Kellynmore.
He played with Kellamore.
Was Kellimore?
Yeah,
played with him.
Yeah.
In Dallas, yeah.
Yeah.
So he's like, I know.
While he was there.
Yeah.
In Dallas?
Oh, wow.
Okay.
All these.
And so I'm like getting all the nuggets.
And then I'm like, man, which, how can I disguise it?
How can I release these nuggets?
Right, right.
And he has like nicknames for
Siriani. Like he's that good of friends with him.
Like what? Yeah. So I'm not
And I'm, I'll never
like blow somebody spot up ever.
I don't do that on our show on country music
even though I know a lot of crap.
Right. I find it. But it's like I kind of have some
it's pretty cool to have some sources now.
So I only trust my sources when they tell me
stuff I have no idea about. And it's Schottenheimer.
I have no idea, right? Because he's only ever, he's
an assistant. He didn't even call the plays.
From what I know.
And let me stop.
just for a second.
If you're not calling the plays
and you're the offensive coordinator,
what are you doing?
Preparing the team each week.
Just kind of hear the plays.
Installing.
But you're putting your installations in as well.
Like this is what's going to work.
You're running them through practice.
And then you're telling McCarthy like,
hey, this is what I think.
Yeah, and he's also involved.
But this is what I've heard about Schottenheimer.
Is that the only reason he didn't call plays
is because McCarthy's a great offensive play caller.
So anywhere else he'd have been calling the plays
He started off calling plays
Yes
But he'd have been he'd have continued
But also when he was calling plays
He didn't have, dude
He was calling plays that wasn't going well
But you know
Doubtz never running back
True
Yeah
Like what are you gonna do without running back?
Rico Dowdell
Seriously
So
The people that I know are like
This guy deserves a shot
He's been a career assistant
Wively regarded as a really smart guy
and had he not been under McCarthy, he'd have been calling.
Plays continued.
But he didn't have the personnel when he got pulled from him.
And that's why he got it pulled from him.
Okay.
So I'm not even saying believe in it.
I'm just saying there are people I know who are smarter than us
that believe there's an opportunity for him to do well.
Okay.
I need to believe in something.
I hear you.
I feel that way.
Because right now I'm not believing in anything, so I appreciate that.
Three people were busted trying to sell $200,000 worth of fake Jason Kelsey memorabilia.
Really?
How much? I mean, the Jason Kelsey stuff can't be worth a whole lot. Yeah, that's a lot of stuff.
Really? I mean, because his fame has come after. Sure. His fame has come, you know, they launched the podcast and it was doing well. But then when Travis started dating Taylor, that's when that's when that they both went. Correct. Next level in the media world. Their podcast was doing well. It really was doing well.
So much that even his wife took off. Yeah, right. Taylor is what super launched them. They already had a successful podcast.
for sure. But they didn't pop into
the pop culture world. They weren't doing Campbell's Chunky Noodle Soup
Things. Yes.
And that's... They have their own cereal too. Do you see that?
That's not a slam on them.
Because also Travis was
and is probably the best postseason titan of all time.
Top two titans ever.
I give gronks there, buddy. Don't get mad.
We heard you puffing out over there.
But when Travis started dating
Taylor, you know, a rising tide
brings up all ships
and all those ships were wildly famed. He got a
on ESPN. So all that's happening. So I can see where his memorabilia would be worth more.
But really, how much? Jason Kelsey memorabilia. That's crazy. So yeah, anyway, 200,000 bucks
worth a fake Jason Kelsey memorabilia. Authorities say Branco in June 24, 10 an autograph signing
at Pennsylvania where Kelsey was present, taking a photo with the Pro Bowl lineman in order to
validate her in the presence of authentication. And then there were stuff that was forged on it. But she
took a picture with them to go like, look, this is me in the presence.
I can say, ultimate officials say the fake items were sold through two sports, memorabilia
businesses.
After items were sold, authorities say a local police department was tipped that something was wrong,
jail, out on jail, what's it called bail?
Bail.
Bail bond, whatever it is.
Over 1,100 items, including helmets, jerseys, photos, footballs.
Advertising them is real.
I feel like it would be so easy to do that, just sell fake memorabilia and say it was real.
Yes and no. Yes, draw stuff on it.
Even there are like AI signing.
Like they're a country artist I know that use AI to sign their name on stuff.
They draw and then the thing can do it because they're like, I want to sign stuff.
So they do it and it memorize their signature and the signature.
It does it.
And that sucks.
Dang, that does suck.
But there are if it's, and I could walk you through some of the companies,
either it needs to be seen by somebody at the company.
There's always a little sticker on it.
And you put the code in the sticker and you go and it says what it is.
For the most part, there's a way to make sure it's legit.
But if you're just like, Jason Kelsey Jersey, $100, you're like,
and you don't know how the authentication works, which we do.
We did a whole freaking series on it.
Check it on the YouTube channel.
That's right.
Bobby Bone Sports.
That's a lot of Kelsey.
Travis Kelsey remember really?
I'd be like, oh, I got it.
Game worn jersey.
For sure.
Jason Kelsey, that's about 1,100 items, I guess it makes sense.
Tom Brady's Florida home may be for sale for $150 million bucks.
Kevin?
Yeah, I'm in the market.
Are you?
Yeah.
He needs more space for the twins.
Exactly.
That'll do.
Do we feel nervous about going to the Super Bowl, though, in New Orleans?
No.
No?
Because of terrorist activities.
Nothing like that?
Mm-mm.
I don't get scared getting on planes.
I don't get scared doing stuff like that.
Like ever, though?
Like I don't really generally, but on planes, you know, you kind of get there for 30 seconds.
You're like, oh, get out of there.
Oh, mine is never about terrorists.
It's about crashing.
Yeah.
Oh, I'm talking about, like, blowing stuff up.
Because they're like at the Super Bowl or all these people together.
New Orleans had the terrorist attack already.
Sure.
Right.
Do we...
That makes me feel safer, if anything.
In terms of the security will be ramped up even more.
Have you seen the invisible bombs, though, that they say now can get through sick?
What are you talking about?
Oh, my gosh.
What are they?
They're invisible man
I don't know
I watch
TikTok
I've never seen
You know that podcast guy
who does like all the
He's bald
He has in all like the CIA stuff
Do you guys ever get on his account?
No
Is that CIA stuff's not in my algorithm
Oh Jock?
Oh a lot of my name is
I'm sure
Yeah
He's like they have these things
called invisible bombs
And you can see them
But they can get through detectors
Oh
It's not the agency
It wasn't in that was it
Are you done?
Did you watch agency
Do you watch final episode?
It's awesome right?
Do you?
Yeah
Yeah
That shows April
Oh gosh, yeah. Awesome.
It's awesome. Do you watch The Diplomat?
No. On Netflix? You like it.
You like it. And season one is good, a little slow, but season two is
freaking awesome. Similar type vibe. The agency's CIA.
Yeah. Now we figured.
Dude. You love that stuff.
I don't even know that I love, I always loved it, but I love love it. There have been a few
shows that have been CIA FBI that have been amazing in the past year and a half or so.
Then you start walking around like, ooh, I wonder.
Oh, everybody's up to something.
Yeah, I know, for sure.
Yeah, for sure.
And then we were doing like conspiracy theories on the By Bone Show that have been proven true.
And there are a lot of those that were like the U.S. bomb their own stuff in order to get us angry at somebody else.
Yeah.
And the CIA is very involved in, it's CIA is international, right?
FBI, domestic, CIA international.
But that doesn't mean they don't have their own hands and stuff.
All right?
I just want to be on.
Do you know one CIA member?
Like anyone that works in CIA?
No.
I know multiple FBI.
So do I.
So does he even.
exist?
Yes.
Okay.
I think it's just weird that all of us, you probably know an FBI agent, right?
Yeah.
You do?
Maybe it's, no.
Maybe it's you guys talking.
Why do I, I feel like I know.
I have a now, who's now a friend of mine who is FBI, hardcore FBI?
My brother-in-law is an FBI agent.
Okay, maybe it's you that talk about it.
Are you Walter White?
No.
Oh, yeah, he's a DEA agent.
His brother-in-law?
Oh, is he D-EA?
Oh, dang, I missed it.
Oh, yeah.
I thought it was FBI.
Shout out.
So no, I guess not.
Maybe it's just Eddie talking about it.
It's crazy to me that we all, I mean,
Bones, you and I know an FBI agent,
but no one knows a CIA agent.
Yeah, but most of them are like probably overseas.
Oh, international.
There's some here.
Yeah, because even in the agency, they're in London.
Yeah.
Because that CIA is, I don't even like talking about my FBI,
Frank, because I don't even want to blow him up.
I don't want to say anything about him.
Because, like, I don't know what he's, I don't want to.
He's on some list or something.
You know, I shouldn't have said anything by my brother-in-law.
That's what I'm saying.
B-F-I, I meant B-F-I.
Best friend.
I meant KFC.
Works like my business.
It's like, it's not my business.
Yeah.
I don't even introduce him.
Like, what's you do?
I'm like, law enforcement?
Air condition.
Repairmen.
Well, I don't want to lie.
You wink at him.
I don't want to lie.
It's like my AC's broken.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sorry, he's booked up for two years.
Agency's awesome, though.
So, now we've got to wait for like a year.
I know.
A year.
They, you watch Silo?
Anybody?
No.
Are you done?
I haven't watched
the second season.
Okay, then I'll say nothing.
Night Agent
season just came out.
Wait, did you just watch that one?
So we watched all season one.
We're halfway through season two.
What do you think of the night agent?
I'm only on episode three.
Of season one?
Of season two.
What did you think of?
Season one was incredible.
I thought it was so corny, dude.
Really?
I thought it was, my wife and I sit there
because we watched like real CIA stuff.
That's what it feels like.
And we were like, we can predict the storyline all the way through.
Yeah, that's true.
That's true.
And I don't know if we're CIA snobs now.
Yeah.
But I love the premise and we liked it because we stayed with it.
But it was so, okay, we just need a break to happen.
Well, here's a book we've never looked in.
Let's look in this book.
Oh.
The clue is right here.
That's true.
Oh.
Oh, my God.
Oh, here's a birthday card from someone.
Let's track it.
And they track the birthday.
And it's everything was so.
I see it.
A, B, C, D, FG.
Not that it was bad.
But it just, you can predict everything.
Yeah.
So far...
Season two, it feels a little better, though.
Yeah, I haven't been able to predict any people that are secretive or, you know, questionable.
So, like, I have no idea, like, what's going on the second season, honestly.
I'm so annoying when I watch a show because I just throw out theories the whole time.
And I'll throw out ten theories.
And if I'm right about any of them, I claim credit at the end.
I told you.
Yeah, my wife hates when I do that.
Oh, my gosh.
Okay.
We're...
I'll get two things.
and then we're going to...
I mean, we can do a little connect four and see how it goes on...
I can't get that thing out of my vision.
We need to probably flip it, though, this way, right?
So you can see the board?
Yeah, so we can see it, sure.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, we can do that.
Unless you have a camera from over there.
We'll just angle it.
Okay.
So two things I want to mention.
One, I just got invited, and I'm not sure how real this is.
I took a picture of it.
I don't think it's a scam.
But it says invitation.
Super Bowl
L-I-X commissioners party
Oh, no
Dang
That's got to be real
I want to personally invite you
To the Super Bowl
L-AX commissioners party
At I'll leave it out
On
One of the days we're there
Please click below the RSVP
We're looking forward to seeing you there
Roger
Roger
It says Roger
It says Roger
I'm sure it was sent out by like
Not Roger
Not Roger
Mr. Goodell himself
Yeah
I've met them once
Like most firm handcheck
I ever shook.
He's a big, big dude.
Most firm handshake I've ever shay.
You're shaking my hand?
I have, yeah.
Very clammy and pretty weak.
I'm nervous.
That's one.
And then two is we're not going to be able to do,
I know we're doing the Connect 4.
We're not going to be able to the ball,
the 100 pound ball.
So that's out.
We're doing the 50 pound.
I just want to let all the listeners know
because they're coming up with ideas.
He's still in this kind of or the sling, you know.
Eddie's arm is broken.
Yeah, we're good.
Eddie's arm is broken.
And you're not working out with this.
I'm not.
Not as of, I would say in two weeks I'll probably be ready to come back a little bit,
but the doctor said don't do anything until you come to your checkout.
The two weeks, you shouldn't come back if you can't come back.
Well, no, what I'm saying is mostly is like I can lift with my other arm.
I can probably do squats.
But if I do any kind of reflex stuff with my broken hand, I can, the muscle could knock it out of place.
Last Thursday, Reid now working out and Reid was like, it's so much better without Eddie here.
That's a second time you've said that.
That's what he said.
What is that, Reed?
You know, I don't know.
I just feel more confident.
I feel like I can lift more weight.
I mean, it was just like we get a lot of stuff.
I think we were getting a lot done.
And it was kind of like, man, we get a lot down with that Eddie here, something like that.
But see, then he turns around and comes to me and says, man, I'm so glad like you're doing workouts with us.
Because when there's three people, we get more rest time.
So I don't know what to believe.
So we're only going Tuesdays now.
I know you're not here.
Oh, really?
Uh-huh.
Because I'm not there?
sure
huh
feels good
that feels like a nice thing to say
so yeah
wow man
so we're going
on Monday Tuesday Thursday
we're doing Tuesday Thursdays
for now with Kluge
but we'll see what happens
when you come back
what does that what does that mean
we'll see what happens
I don't know if we're
oh we go back to three
if I'm gonna go I don't know
I need to like
box or do yoga or something
my I need to like
instead of lift heavy like we do
supplement that
third lifting day.
It's just a, no, the we thing was funny to hear.
What, what do you mean?
They lift heavy like we do.
Oh, dude, we lift heavy, dude.
Yeah, maybe I could do it.
But I'm usually, we're gone on a lot of Fridays, I know.
And what do we do golf?
Like, what do we walk around?
Oh, I know it.
Also, it's pickleball, right?
Pickleball will come back.
And I want to have days to play pickleball because that's a grind too.
Because I plan on trying to go pro.
You sure?
Maybe.
I think you can.
I don't.
The Olympics?
Is it?
It will be.
It will be.
You do own a team.
Could you just tell them like I want to be a player?
No.
You can't just do that.
One weekend tournament?
So paddle is I think probably going to be an Olympic sport, which is like pickleball.
Or it's like a pickleball but with a racquetball around it.
You guys have to see paddle?
I've seen it.
I was a really good racquetball player.
That excites me.
I think I can, listen, I don't know.
I think I can make a run playing a football.
Get a train.
I think you give it a run
Because I'm not
Or I just need to learn my lesson the hard way
Either way I think I need to train
I think I'm going to possibly hire a coach
Dang
To train and to see if I really can be as good
As I think I have the potential to be
Not that I am
But the potential
Because a lot of strategy
Sure
And I feel like
I'm able to compute
Pretty fast in the old brainer
And I think that helps
Now do I
Can I stay uninjured?
Am I as quick as I think I am?
Maybe not
Like the age thing
The pro pickleball players, are they still youngish, or are they older guys too?
The really great, great ones are youngish, but there are some pro players that are 40,
even in the female part, there's 50.
I'll just identify it as a female.
Oh, that'd be fine, too.
Why not?
Let's do whatever you want.
UFC ladybugs?
Is that?
Ronnie Dangerfield?
Soccer.
Oh, yeah.
I remember that movie.
So, yeah, that's what's up.
You get no respect around here.
Hey, that's pretty good.
you want to set up
first game
yes let me set the camera up
Reid who did you
it's read a mic
we want to do
Kevin can you hop back there in the room
yeah
do we need anybody back there Mike
are we airing this
or just need to record it
we're gonna record
we may put this on the air
we'll see how it goes
okay
but we're gonna run the cameras
yeah just the monitor levels
there it go
okay Kevin you walk back
yep
so whoever loses this
will be one of the two
who's going
first? You are.
You and Mike.
And we're going to flip the
this. You'll be able to watch all
of this on video. I'm going to flip
the coin here to see who
goes first. Now, Reed, you can pick
your color first. Okay, Reed's going to
go red. It's the old Connect 4 game here.
And since
Reed picked the color, I will
let Mike call the coin flip.
Like the NFL.
The head? This is a
Buffalo nickel. Hold on. Don't move it. I set the cameras.
The head is a Native American.
The tails is a buffalo.
Mike, you get to call the coin flip because we pick the color.
Which would you like?
Heads or tails?
Heads.
There you go.
Is that for me to go first or second?
Let's see.
Let's see here.
It is heads.
It is heads.
Now, Mike, would you like to go first or second with your yellow?
I would like to go first with yellow.
Okay.
And do we have good camera view on this?
We got good camera view.
The posture's not great.
Mike, can you scoot your...
Just chair this way a little bit.
That's perfect right there.
Are we ready to go?
Mike, you will go first.
All right.
And the loser is one of the two that will not be one of the four tickets.
Okay.
And action.
Mike goes with a yellow in the middle.
Who's going to middle?
Wise choice.
Is there a time?
I don't think it's like chess where you like hit it quick.
Reid goes beside him.
Mike goes the double yellow on the bottom.
Okay.
Mike's already got two connected.
Okay.
Mike's got his whole life for this.
read traps some so it's it's red yellow yellow red on the bottom good block
Mike's thinking a lot here
I'm thinking way too much too much strategy going on here
Mike knows one false move okay okay
okay
reeds to go on the stack he's the first person to go to that second row
Reed has two connected
wow two more read and you
I guess if you win you're in though
just automatically
If you win, you're in
You have to be eliminated
If Reed wins or Mike wins
They are in
But Reed has been practicing
Well Mike has known about it too though
To be fair
He's not been doing anything though
All right Mike's
Thinking of the hole to put it in
As I always do
Smart
Okay he's up on the second
Rosewell
He's now connected two at the angle
Okay
We should probably stop
saying that though because maybe the other person didn't see it.
Oh, that's a good point.
I was going to say that.
We should probably stop at this point.
That's a good point.
From here, we'll cut audio and we'll tell you a look and a little bit who won.
Oh my good friend.
Damn it!
He had him a checkmate.
Yes.
He had him a suck it to game, man.
He had him two moves ago.
Mike wins.
Had Reid not gone there, Mike Adam, had we gone there to block Mike Adam?
I saw him to wait, to set it up both ways.
And I was like, he's going to take the bait.
He's going to go for it.
I got it.
Mike is going to the Super Bowl.
Good game.
Good game, Reed.
I still got one more chance, baby.
I still got one more chance.
After all that practice, Reed.
There's no practice.
It was just letting me know.
You played at the bar.
Are you talking about it?
It was letting me know how bad I am at this game.
It was just making me lose confidence.
Wow.
Wow, wow, wow, wow.
So Reed is down in the bottom, too.
Okay, so next game is me and Kevin.
Winner of that goes Super Bowl?
Winner of that goes.
I love it.
Mike has just secured himself a ticket to the Super Bowl.
Let's go, Mike.
Let's go, man.
I would clap for you, dude, but I only have one arm.
Okay.
Okay, you want to move over there?
Yeah.
Reid, I need you to run cameras, please.
And everything's set up here, so I have to do is click and take.
I'll show you.
Come here.
Literally, this camera, that camera, to that camera.
Oh, nice.
And then if you want Bobby, he's one.
Dude, that's funny.
Dang, Mike set up for a double.
Mike, did you see you had it two in?
I thought it.
If it were chest, you did.
say checkmate as soon as you dropped that one because you had him
no matter what he did. I was just trying to give no indication
that I was said in a lot. I didn't see one of them. Clearly.
Yeah dude you got doubled up. Double up.
We got to flip a coin. Okay, so
Kevin, would you like red or yellow?
Yellow. Eddie, you get to call the coin flip.
Love it. Heads or tails?
You ready? I'm flipping it.
Tails. Never fails.
It is. Head.
Dang! So Kevin, you'll go first or second. You get to pick.
I'll go first.
Okay, go ahead. And now we're starting the second game. Kevin will go first with the yellows.
And he's in in the middle spot. And Eddie stacks on top of them. And from here we'll cut till the end.
We'll bring him back at the end. Okay, we're going to cut. I'm going to put my mic down. Is that okay?
It's still going to be on cam. Okay, well, I'm just having a hard time holding it.
That's true. Here.
No, we're going, we're going.
Game.
I think I broke down again.
Kevin? Come on.
Wow.
I cannot believe he didn't see that.
Me either.
We were all looking at each other.
Kevin picked the mic up.
It's like at the end of the game, we talked to the coaches.
Oh my goodness.
How do you fell after that loss?
You know, I thought I was in this one.
It was a good game.
Got to give him credit where credit is due.
Hell of a game.
Hell of a game.
And that's tough, man.
That's tough.
But we're still in it.
We still got a shot.
You're still in it.
We're still in it.
Reed. Mike? Well, you're not playing
now, Reed, for the loser, loser.
No. No, no, we're not
final. No, the last one's going to be right in front of the Super Bowl
doors. Today's? Oh, we're
playing something else. Not today? No,
we're just going to wait a few days as you two will be the last
two up. Oh, thank God. Okay. Yes.
Oh, my God, that's amazing.
So now I can tell people
I'm going to the Super Bowl. Yes.
Because it's been so awkward. People are like, hey, yeah,
I might go to the Super Bowl.
You might? Well, see, I have to play
Connect 4.
Mike, you can hit our outro music because you can go watch the full games on YouTube.
Yeah.
You heard like the beginning and the end of the games, but as you heard, Mike D and Eddie
