The Bobby Bones Show - 25W: Arkansas Coaching Chaos Has Bobby Fed-up + Are the Cowboys Actually a Playoff Lock? + Lane Kiffin's Soft Move from the Weekend
Episode Date: December 1, 2025Bobbys had it with the Arkansas coaching chaos, and he lay out why the nonstop rumors, misreports, and “done deal” whispers have him completely fed up with the football program for the yea...r. The guys also discuss the big question: are the Dallas Cowboys actually a playoff lock, or is everyone getting a little too comfortable with that 10-win number? Bobby breaks down what the rest of the schedule looks like, why the Chiefs might need to win out, and how a lot of money could potentially be lost in the midst of it all. He also hits on Lane Kiffin’s “soft move” from the weekend involving a reporter and an apology, plus some college playoff talk, Diego Pavia’s big statement game, and a few life notes like Eddie taking his kids to the Y, carving turkey, and why Bobby’s foot is absolutely screaming by the end of the show. Hello, welcome to the show.
I have so many notes.
We can start with your Dallas Cowboys.
You can blow the whistle.
There you go.
Dude, what are we doing?
This is amazing.
How about that Thanksgiving game?
How about it?
Yeah, it's great.
Dude, it's awesome.
We went from 0% chance to go into the playoffs
to I think now we're at 24.
If we beat the Lions,
we are 50% chance of making the playoffs.
You're do or die.
This is an elimination game for the Cowboys.
And for the Chiefs.
Both.
Yeah.
The Lions are struggling too.
Lions are struggling.
Nobody looks amazing.
Everybody looks beatable.
You mean in all of the NFL?
All the NFL.
The Cowboys offense does look really good.
Dude, the offense has always looked.
It's the defense that looks so different.
You're right.
Yeah.
I'm rooting for you guys.
It's a brand new team, dude.
I think...
Don't do it.
Don't be a cowboy, though.
Here's the problem.
You're going to get...
It's so excited because here you are going from zero to, well, you weren't at zero.
Notice I'm not saying Super Bowl.
I'm not saying Super Bowl.
I'm being realistic.
Mike, you're a Cowboys fan too.
Yeah.
And I root for you guys against everybody except the Chiefs, so I didn't want you to win that game because it cost us money.
I know.
I know.
But at that point, I was like, screw the money.
I'm a Cowboys for Life kind of guy.
So to me, at that point, winning that game as a Cowboys fan was number one.
The Cowboys and Lions, that is for both teams, pretty much a playoff game.
Yeah.
You guys can't lose again.
No.
And you kind of have to come up in the NFC East, right?
Well, not necessarily.
Like, we can lose as long as the Eagles lose.
If the Eagles...
Aren't you two games back?
We're at one and a half.
One and a half games back.
Because we have that tie.
Do not forget that little tie against Green Bay.
Yeah.
That could be the difference maker.
Dude, if we come back and win the division, this is insane.
Yeah, because, yeah, they're one ahead.
The DeLions, that is.
playing on this week.
They're one ahead of you in the standings.
They're the eight seed right now.
You're the nine.
I mean, it's amazing.
And it's a lot of clutter in the NFC.
There is.
There is.
There is.
Good teams.
Yeah.
We're going to need a lot of teams to kind of just take it down.
I think you have to win.
I think you have to win every game.
Yeah.
Starting with the Lions, baby.
Can you read me the rest of the Cowboys schedule?
And we can do the Cowboys and we can move off the Cowboys.
I know you're just, it's just, it's been a long.
I haven't wanted to talk about this for so long.
Chomping it's so long
Yeah
It's happening on Thursday, dude
The Cowboys have the Lions
Lions
Vikings
If they don't have a quarterback
That might be one of the worst teams
I've ever seen in my life
Oh it's hard
I feel bad for their fans
Even with their starting quarterback
They're still a really bad team
I feel bad for Justin Jefferson
Yeah yeah yeah
That's what I feel bad for
Yeah
Yeah
Okay
And then Chargers
Can do that
You know
Man it's weird to say
But yeah
Go ahead
At Commanders
We can do that
Okay
Finish off at the Giants.
Oh, we could definitely do that.
I mean, again, the Cowboys beating the Chiefs, awesome.
It was great.
We celebrated.
You had to win that.
But then the Eagles losing, even more of a celebration.
And then the commanders losing, they weren't really even in the conversation.
I can't believe the Eagles lost that game to the Cowboys.
I know.
And they, the Cowboys?
Or to the Bears.
Or to the Bears, excuse me, the Bears are the number one.
The Bears are the number one.
The Bears are the number one seed right now.
Yes.
It's crazy, dude.
Okay.
So anyway, I'm on cloud nine.
Just because there's hope on the horizon.
I hope that the Cowboys make it.
Do you?
Yeah, of course I do.
Because I like the Cowboys, and I have a future on them.
I bet to win the Super Bowl that I keep posting in the Cowboys
of Group Thread that we're in.
That I changed the name to, by the way, our group thread.
You did, you did, you did.
Yeah.
Did Eddie say anything at all this weekend?
Not really.
Maybe.
I might have said something.
Our group chat is now lifelong Latino Cowboys fans.
And you're in it.
I'm the one white guy in the group.
It's me and all my Mexican cowboy friends.
I posted about $100
a way months ago
for the Cowboys to win the Super Bowl
to win $6,000.
They're hot.
No doubt about it.
I bet those odds changed.
Not much, but I bet they changed.
I think I got them at 11 plus 1,100.
I don't know what I got them.
You bet them to win the Super Bowl too?
I did, yeah.
I'm surprised.
Okay, so there you go.
There's Dallas Cowboys.
Congratulations to Eddie.
Thank you, man.
on a massive win.
And Mike, congrats, Mike.
Yeah.
And Mike, congratulations.
Okay, we'll go to Mike then.
Congrats to Texas for being Texas A&M.
It was a great two days of football for me.
Yeah, I forget you got it on both ends.
That was crazy.
I was crazy.
I know, I felt like Texas, I think I said this on the show last week.
I felt like Texas was prime to come in and I've never seen Austin and that Texas.
Listen, I'm a Texas hater.
So if you don't know that, just know that before I say this stuff.
I've never seen that stadium be that alive.
Yeah, it was crazy, wild, like just roaring.
On television.
And I've been there.
But on television, I've never seen that stadium, that ant for anything.
You can see, like, the wave of people, like, just going up and down the entire time.
Texas A&M coming in.
Texas, at home, as an underdog, they're fired up.
They put their wine and cheese away, and they just, they did some yelling.
He did some yelling.
Yeah, thoughts on the game?
I thought it was crazy to see A&M kind of be conservative in the second half,
like, where they could have just really chomped down and got back in the game.
They just could not do anything.
They weren't going for it.
in Texas just dominated.
Yeah, I didn't like what I saw.
But I like Arch Manning.
And so there's always like a little nugget of rainbow in there for me.
I like that he's playing pretty well.
I feel like he's just run the ball.
He runs, man.
Always, yeah.
When he ran for that touchdown, like he outran people.
Yes, he did.
I love like when he was going to the end zone just like, guard the ball,
make sure like at all cost not to lose the ball.
It looked good.
All right, Kevin, your Patriots have not played yet.
Tonight.
They play tonight.
He got the jacket on.
Oh, yeah.
You like it?
Yeah.
Yeah, that's a cool old school jacket.
I thought maybe he just bought it because it looked a little wrinkly.
Doesn't it look a little wrinkly to you?
Like he pulled it out of the box this morning?
Are you waking up with hating your heart?
I know.
You're team one.
No, no.
Always.
Eddie's always firing shots at me for no reason at all.
I'm team Patriots, man.
We got money on Patriots.
Congrats to your cowboys and you're over here.
Just like, hey, I like your jacket.
But it looks like crap, dude.
Wow.
It was tucked away for the summer, right?
I had to pull it out.
It's 30 degrees here.
I asked about, hey,
if these teams get to 10 wins,
are they guaranteed to be in the playoffs?
I just ask ChatGBT, GBT,
based on the history of the NFL.
And so historically, 10 wins is often enough.
So think about you guys' teams.
So the Cowboys, are you 7, 7, 4 and 1?
No, 6.5 and 1, yeah.
Historically, 10 wins is often enough.
Teams with 10 wins have made the playoffs
90% of the time since 1990.
So you get to 10, you're pretty much in.
11 or more wins,
98% of the time.
You get to 11, you're for sure.
12, also a guarantee.
So you got to hit 10.
And I think I was looking this up for the Chiefs as well
because they're 6 and 6.
But they're also behind their division rivals.
Denver's going to win that division,
especially with their commanders
win by 1, go for 2, overtime.
Denver keeps winning. It's crazy.
Yeah.
Eventually, though, I've got to stop being a hater
and just go, they just win games.
Same thing with the Bears.
That's a weird one though. It's a weird one.
It's a weird one to say because they've been bad for so long.
But also, you're watching them. It's not even just saying it.
Like, I'm watching Denver and I'm watching the Bears.
And every game, like, oh, they could lose this game.
Yeah. Like, you never feel, if you're a fan, you never feel comfortable.
Yeah, never. To have that good of a record, you'd think there'd be some comfortability with your team.
Right.
So Denver's going to win that.
But it's like, the Chiefs lost to Jacksonville, like, idiots.
They're behind Jackson
They're behind the Chargers
So I don't know what they're going to
They have to win every game
We do
We need them to win every game
We do
When you texted me after the Cowboys game
Like a little upset because maybe the Cowboys
You put it in the wrong thread
Keeping the Cowboys thread
That was our money making thread
I never said anything you got
I did Kevin started at all
I never said anything
Whatever it was all I knew is I was triggered
Dude you got fired up
I was triggered
And then you're like, yeah, congrats on your little win, dude.
You cost us this much money.
I'm like, whoa, whoa, dude.
Let me go back to this thread.
Yeah, I knew it.
I was sitting there on Thanksgiving.
I want to stir the pot a little bit.
They talk about like a drink in my hand, loving life to like, oh.
Let me see, let me see.
Kevin goes, congrats on the big win, Eddie.
Let's effing go Bengals.
I said that one hurts our money team for sure.
Eddie goes, I know, but that was awesome.
No, you did it.
I just responded.
No, no, no, no, no.
That wasn't that game awesome?
But all I did was say, yeah, that hurts our money team for sure.
I wasn't angry, and then you go, I know, but that was awesome.
And then what you say?
Not really.
It keeps can't stay out of the playoffs, and it costs us roughly at least another $1,000 more.
So good for you.
If the Cowboys lose and the Bengals lose, that's an Eddie minus 1K day itself.
But that did not happen.
They didn't because Joe Burroughs awesome.
Yes, he is.
Yeah, Kevin was kind of stirring it up there.
I did.
And then you jumped in, make it worse.
You knew what you were doing.
Oh, yeah.
I was sitting there and I was just like, because I enjoyed it.
I knew we were going to lose money.
I was like, I just want to see what's going on here.
Let's see what the boys are doing.
So I knew it was either going to trigger Bobby or trigger you.
Eddie triggered. You triggered Eddie that triggered me.
Yeah.
Did you bet on that game at all?
Chiefs Cowell was?
I don't think I caught it in time.
No. And I was torn.
Oh, you weren't in town.
That's what it was. I couldn't bet for Markinsville.
That's what it was.
It saved me a lot of money.
Not being in a state thing about.
I had a bad day.
Because as soon as I got home, I started betting again.
Loos, loose, loose, loose, losers.
Terrible.
Lose, losers.
It felt like you had to make up.
Los, Los, Los, Los, Los.
I lost so much. I've been on, I was on a bad run, had a decent week to get kind of close,
and then I had another bad, like Saturday Sunday. I don't even bet that much NFL, I just had a bet.
I think I bet two games lost them both, and I know when to say win. Yeah. Tapped out.
It was also kind of a boring Sunday because of all the games that had happened already.
Because they just weren't as many games, and the teams kind of sucked. Yeah. The earlier games were decent.
We can talk about Arkansas if you want.
Yeah, what's what's going on there?
Well, so first, what do you mean what's going on?
So you happy?
Yeah, I'm fine.
I am indifferent.
So when I came on, and I would have to go back and listen to me, and I won't do that on last week's show.
Because you never do or you just don't want to?
Both.
But if I know me, I don't think even I was sure that we really had goalish.
Because I was like, this is saying that, but it's like, it was one small town guy saying it.
And then the national media ran with it.
Yeah, when did it?
Because I saw it all over Twitter.
It never went official.
But it never went official.
It was one guy who did not have two sources and trying to be first in Arkansas and said that he had signed.
He never signed.
And from what I, and I'm not doing what I heard and stuff, but I know people that, and they were like, hey, trying to get the Ole Miss job.
And so Old Miss job was not going to be open even if,
lane left because I hired the defensive coordinator.
But the Auburn job was opened because
Summerall went to Florida and they thought some
and so he took the Auburn job, which right now is a better
job than the Arkansas job. And so
we don't have a goalish and then
everybody's like, well, this is interesting.
And so they hire Silverfield from Memphis
who beat us this year.
I posted on Twitter, I didn't know Pittman and Silverfield
were racing for pinks.
I just am so emotionally burnt
of this season of the last three, four, five years.
Whatever, man.
I don't know.
This year has been a long one for you guys.
I don't know them.
I'm sure it'll be fine.
It can't be worse, right?
Famous last words.
I mean, it can, but I mean...
We won two games.
Yeah.
That's pretty bad.
But what's crazy about all these games, though,
is that you were...
Arkansas was in all these games
until the last quarter.
Fourth quarter.
And then...
There's a famous shirt.
And they did it again this week.
The people wear in Arkansas.
So we almost always win.
Really?
They wear that shirt?
Yeah.
Oh, that's tough.
Yeah, it sucks.
But I'm hoping for...
I'm hoping for the best.
I have a friend that's a really good friend with him.
And he was like, great dude.
And I was like, I'm going to be honest with you.
I don't care how good a dude it is.
He didn't get me my friend.
I hope he's a good dude.
That's great and all, but I want to win games.
And like, selfishly, like I've pumped a lot of money into that football program.
Not as much as the whales.
No doubt about it.
I've not put millions in, but I've put hundreds of thousands of dollars into the football program.
And to get nothing and to suck, that sucks.
Yeah
They had a protest
Where?
In Arkansas
Yeah yesterday
And it wasn't even really
About the new coach
It was about the athletic director
Is it just the way it's been handled
Or is it everything
It's a travesty
All of this is a travesty
But Tiz of my life
Being an Arkansas fan
Did you jump in on the protest?
No
You got out of town
Yeah
Smart
Yeah no
I was already back home
But we were in Fayette
But you were there this weekend
Like was there a lot of talk of
No nobody cares
Everybody
Because they knew
They knew
that we were everybody checked out there was nothing to do we're gonna go and freeze to death on a
Saturday game and then we lost that game it's terrible it's cold out there yeah it's miserable
just looking forward to basketball now yeah we already we already are we have a big game against
Louisville on Wednesday but we're oh and two and quad one games because we've called cow to his credit
and to the frustration at the same it has scheduled like every top team in college basketball
for us to play this year because he believes we're really good and so you know we played duke
and we played them really close on Thanksgiving night
in Chicago.
They were out by 10 at one point.
We went out by 7.
They ended up beating it by 7 or 8.
At the end, it was just shooting free throws.
But we played Duke,
and then earlier this year,
we got to be by Michigan State.
It's really good.
They are really good.
We have Louisville, I think,
their top 5 team on Wednesday.
I feel like there's a lot of big matchups already.
The college basketball has kind of gotten to that,
hasn't it?
Yeah, you can lose.
You just want those quad-one wins.
You're trying to get a couple of those.
Why do they play as you?
Chicago. That wasn't a tournament, was it? No, just a
holiday classic. Okay. I saw a lot of teams playing there.
Turkey Classic. I'd turn it on, I'd see the Bulls logo and be like, wait, what?
Were there a lot of teams? I just knew the Arkansas Duke game.
There were like two or three games there. That makes sense then. Yeah, I didn't know that.
So, yeah, it kind of sucks for us as Arkansas fans. Like, we're...
Yeah, so you have nothing, you're indifferent.
Towards football? Towards football, that is, specifically.
What do you have me to do? Yeah, I know.
I looked at our record over the last 10 years. We haven't had a conference winning.
season in 10 years.
Our best in conference.
Now we've had a couple of seven and four,
you know, when Petrino was there.
Sam Pittman had one good year,
but we have never had a winning.
If 500 counts was winning,
I think we've had two in 10 years,
but we've never been over 500 in conference.
It sucks, man.
And I know that when the calendar changes
and here comes August next year,
I'll be fired up again, but I'm tired,
I'm sad, I've spent a bunch of money
and got nothing back from it.
It's only a Cowboys fan.
Yeah.
Except they don't donate to their team.
They don't.
But they buy merge and spend money.
Most of them leave, though.
So what do you give Silverfield?
What's the expectation?
I don't have one.
But like as a fan base, what do you guys give?
Three years?
Three years?
It can move quicker.
We've seen with money, with resources, with, he's going to bring a general manager,
which we didn't have prior just for football.
So, I don't know.
I do.
I'm just so indifferent.
I'm numb toward it, and I'm sure if I reach out, he'll come on the show, but I don't even
know I want to talk with him.
I'm kind of over football.
You want to wait until the breaks over?
Mentally exhausting.
I'm over Arkansas football.
You just get beat with a belt so much.
You stay away from the closet.
Because you know what's in the closet?
The belt.
Yeah. Bigger belt.
Yeah.
Hey, man.
It's tough.
Yeah, that sucks.
Well, you got the Panthers.
Yeah, that's crazy game, huh?
I wish that was like my real team.
You know, it's my fake team.
Started, dude.
It's never too late.
I don't have like a lifetime relationship with it.
I know.
But I am.
I keep pounding.
You always keep pounding.
You keep pounding.
Our parlay, I did hit my Indiana minus 28 and a half at Purdue.
Yeah.
Oregon minus seven at Washington.
Who is that?
Is that Brandon?
No, it wasn't me.
Okay, then it was Brandon.
So that's another win.
Yeah.
And then you guys lost it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oklahoma, man.
Come on.
I thought it number three A&M would do better than that.
I did make a lot of notes.
So let's just start going to.
down the notes here.
So Lane Kiffin goes to LSU and I thought that it was, now we have seen a bit since, but I thought
Lane was super soft after the game when he goes to that reporter who looked like a child and
is like, do call me a ho?
You should don't call me a ho.
That was super soft Elaine.
Because he didn't even, I felt like people were like, this, this, he was a reporter,
podcast or whatever, did you guys see him?
No, yeah, yeah, I saw.
He looks like he's 25 years old.
Yeah, yeah.
I saw his response to it.
So did he really call him a ho?
No.
So here's the thing.
Kind of, but not really.
So, Ludacris says you can't turn a hoe into a housewife because a hoe don't act right.
Now, he wasn't really calling Lane a hoe.
He was saying that a zebra can't change the stripes, basically, just using a funnier line.
It's the same thing.
And he said that about Lane Kiffin, can't turn a hoe into a housewife.
Meaning, Lane has always left.
Lane has always been drama.
Lane has won a lot of places, but he's been the same person.
Like, you're never surprised by what he just.
did. And so he can't turn a hoe
into a housewife. And so that went
a bit viral. So Lane Kiffin went up to him after the
game with cops surrounding him.
It was like, you know, so
soft, Elaine Kiffin to do that. Because he had all his cops
with him. Like, the cops do surround the head
coach in the SEC. Yeah, there's three.
And he's doing it, and there's a camera around, like
super soft. So
then after that, Lane
talked about it in the press conference.
And then he called the kid
and apologized that night.
Oh, he did.
He did.
Okay.
So that's not even where it ends.
And it's not even about Lane going to LSU.
That's the funniest part.
Before, maybe right before they had, like, announced it,
Lane sent that kid a text message with a picture of him wearing a hat that said a hoe on it.
So he was...
Admitting he had a hoe.
Got it.
Got it.
I do have the audio.
This is from a podcast.
This is going to be from my phone.
Lane Kiffin called me and apologized.
on Saturday. It was about a two-minute conversation.
Been at 7.15 p.m. amidst all this craziness on Twitter,
the same number that called me, and it was laying on the other end, apologizing,
and I apologize for my role in it, too, because it's all really silly.
The same dude, the exact same dude,
is sending me a meme of him picking up the ho hat and putting down,
or not, you know, picking up the hoe hat over the housewife hat.
That happened.
I've been going through it this weekend trying to defend my friend Ben, okay?
I've known Ben since I was like...
So the funny that Lane then sends him the picture going,
yeah.
And I'm not even surprised he did that.
No, me either.
That's such a lane thing to do, I feel like.
I feel like it was so soft to go up to that kid
with cameras around and like,
challenge him after the game.
Also, he sounds like a 50-year-old guy.
He does.
He doesn't sound nearly as young as he looks.
I wish I knew the...
I mean, I can...
I want to credit this kid.
Because...
And credit the podcast.
Sudu.
Sudu TV is the account that I took it from.
S-U-D-U-T-V on TikTok.
So anyway, can't turn a hoe into a housewife because the hoe don't act right.
A lot of pressure on Lane Kippertr at LSU now, but he'll win.
Yeah.
He'll for sure win.
They're happy.
The big debate was they're going to let him coach through with Ole Miss, and you couldn't.
And the fact that Lane was trying to make himself a victim going, they won't let me coach.
No, they will let you coach if you stay with the team.
Yeah, you're leaving.
I was surprised that defensive.
coordinator is now the head coach. And at first they were like, they're going to take the
defensive coordinator, make him the interim coach. But it was like interim head, moving on.
Yeah, and they even said before Lane decided what he was going to do, they were like,
we have a plan. So they've had this in the plans, which is, I don't know if it's like a, we just
got to have a plan and there's a guy we're going to hire or if they actually wanted that.
The, all the students from Ole Miss yelling at Lane on the tarmac with middle fingers when
he got on the plane to go to LSU yesterday. Oh, I didn't see that.
Hilarious. Damn, they all loved him like a month ago.
and they all now go
to the private airport
and they're like three rows deep
like 40 students
middle fingers in the air
screw you lane
FU lane
it was awesome
gotta love college football
the guy that was parked out
in front of the chancellor's house
the night before
because so
Lane went to the chancellor's house
that supposedly having a meeting
and they're watching the Iron Bowl
really just to see if Ole Miss
would make it to the SC championship game
because if Auburn would beat Alabama
Ole Miss would have been in the SC championship game
against Georgia next week.
This is the chancellor of who?
Ole Miss.
Okay.
So supposedly Lane was there
trying to negotiate
that he could still coach the team.
But the guy was at the chancellor's house
and he's like, here's a picture,
there's Lanes Bentley.
I saw that.
And he's like,
these fans are crazy.
You're in a small town too.
All these college towns for the most part
except for Austin and the SEC.
What other big talent, big city?
In the SEC?
Bandy.
Oh yeah, Vandy, Nashville.
Yeah.
But most are college towns.
Yeah.
And you know where people live.
That was like the Brian Kelly where they sat outside of his office.
You're like he's in there getting fired right now.
At least that was the office, though.
That's true.
That is true.
A house is weird.
Lang Kiffin drives a Bentley, huh?
That's cool.
He seems like a Bentley guy.
Yeah.
He does?
Sure.
Yeah.
I see a sports car kind of guy.
Corvette.
Bentley's like cool luxury.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like, I had one.
Did you like it?
Like it.
Yeah, because it wasn't like two,
fancy and it wasn't
it was right in the middle
I didn't feel like it was screaming
I don't want anything that screams money
but I don't know what screams money sometimes
I have no idea
gold well I mean like a car
because I felt like that would look like a sedan
yeah and I was like it's not really a sedan
I'm like but unless you know
unless you're like a car person
just looks like a normal car
sometimes more discreet sometimes looks like a Genesis
yeah this is nice they look nice

I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up-and-coming talent.
He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet.
Yeah.
He goes, but there's so much luck involved.
And he's like, just give it a shot.
He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.
It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat.
Just hang in there.
Yeah.
It would not be.
Right, it wouldn't be that.
There's a lot of luck.

You doctored this particular test twice in so-ins, correct? I doctored the test ones.
It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what
their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected.
They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing.

I hear something that I pulled.
So this was after the Arkansas game losing to Missouri.
Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz.
I think the SEC's better when Arkansas is good.
As a guy is from Arkansas,
I hope they can find the right coach
and get this thing going again
because this is a special stadium
when it's sold out and the fans are rocking.
I know Arkansas fans believe in the hogs
and so I wish the best for them.
That's a bless your heart.
It is a bless your heart.
We're so bad that the opposite coach
who's from Arkansas
is like having to be like, it's okay.
Guys, you'll be there again.
Oh, no.
according salt in the wound
yeah so
whatever man
um
I pulled this
world's largest cities
speaking of college towns
this is the complete opposite
straight world's largest cities
based on population
oh the world's largest
one two three four five six seven
are we guessing yeah I got the top ten

I mean got to go
like L.A.
Did not make it.
Really?
Kevin.
You've lived in Europe too, huh?
Yeah.
But those are
Dubai?
Dubai.
Dubai.
No.
Hey. Eddie?
New York City.
Ten.
Okay. There you go.
You guys are one-to-one. Three strikes drop.
Hong Kong.
Seems big.
I still have a lot of people there
No
Wow
London town
No
London town
It's that a thing
London
Last one
What's a
Largest city
Big
City in
I'm gonna tell you
I don't
A couple of these
In like the top 15
I never even heard of
Really
We'll never get those
Moscow
No
Dang
Okay I got it
Yeah
Rio de Janeiro
For the wind
Nope
Dang.
Number two is in India.
Oh, yeah.
You say it.
India cities?
Oh, yeah.
No, India.
The one in India.
Low India.
Oh, yeah.
Bangladesh.
Anything?
Delhi.
D-E-L-H-I.
Number two, most populated city in the world.
Number three is in China.
Ding, Zing, Jung.
No, you're just getting racist.
No, no, no, no.
I know one.
It's like Sing do or something.
I don't know, dude.
Yeah, I have no idea.
You can't name of China, China City at all?
Yeah, Hong Kong.
Singapore.
Ooh.
Are you just yelling things?
Yes.
Thailand!
Yeah.
Shanghai and number three.
Oh, duh, Shanghai Knights, dude.
Great movie.
Great movie.
Number four, I'm going to tell you, I don't even know what country this is in.
Come on.
Do you know anything, like anything?
If I were guessing, I would say Brazil, but I don't know that it's Brazil.
The flag's green with a red circle in it.
Green with a red circle in it.
23 million people, number four most populated.
Lima?
D-H-A-K-A.
Oh, never heard of that.
No idea.
Mike, where's DACA?
Bangladesh.
Oh.
there's a lot of bot farms in Bangladesh.
Oh.
A lot of scammers.
Yeah.
Whenever they did the Twitter turnaround where it was like you can now see where
people's accounts were tweeting from, a lot of the political accounts were actually set up in
these countries.
No way.
Yeah.
San Paulo at number five.
Brazil.
Mexico City at six.
Wow.
That's big.
I've been there.
How'd you not guess it?
I don't know.
I didn't think about that one.
Just look down at your hands.
Did you know when I was there?
Yeah, the color of my hands?
When I was there one time, there was an earthquake.
I slept through it.
Big one?
Enough to drop frames from the wall.
Really?
That's pretty good.
But you didn't...
Nothing?
Nice.
Left through it.
Cairo?
Egypt.
Beijing, China hits it with the second one.
Duh.
Why did you think of Beijing?
The Olympics.
Mumbai, which I believe is also in India.
India, right?
Osaka, which I believe is Japan.
New York.
And then here...
This is outside the top 10.
Karachi.
17 million people.
K-A-C-H-I.
Karashi.
My trips.com never recommends Karashi.
I don't know where that is.
I never even seen this flag.
It's got like a moon and a star and a stripe.
Where's Karashi?
Pakistan.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Probably why.
Okay.
Chongqing.
That's China.
China's got three in the top 15.
That's the one I was trying to pronounce.
No, I don't know.
Okay, here's one I don't know.
Number 14.
Ken Shasa.
And it's a blue flag with a stripe going corner to corner with a star in the upper half.
Okay.
Kenshasa, that seems to me like something east, like Singapore, China.
I'm thinking like Kazakhstan.
I don't know if it's in the stands.
You know what I mean?
That's like Middle East, isn't it?
I think it's a stand.
Really?
Mike, where is Kenchasa?
The Republic of Congo.
Oh, that's Africa.
Africa. Way off. Wow.
And then the final one is Lagos. Lagos. Oh, oh, Lagos. Lagoz.
Are those islands?
Some of it. See that? There's no way.
16 million people in Lagos. And the flag is green, white, green.
Philippines. Oh. I don't know the answer. Like, I'm just, I guess I'm shocked out. I don't even, I haven't heard of some of these places. Lagoes. Anything, guys?
No, before you tell us?
I guess it's Philippines.
um
Jamaica
Mike
Nigeria
um
Africa coming in
coming in strong
you're in top 15
oh man
what
I'm now getting texts about
like why am I getting
coaches about
text about the coaching search now
these like friends
I don't even know who it is
it says
I don't know who I'm on with here
isn't that weird
you're in a group chat
yeah
and no numbers pop up
from that group chat?
Yeah.
501s, which means
they're both Arkansas.
But no names.
Because I don't have them
saved on my phone.
I don't know.
All right.
Anyway, I kept that screenshot.
I thought it would be fun to see
if you guys could guess the city
because I felt totally stupid
trying to read those.
We did pretty bad.
Really bad.
I don't know who any of them were.
Ohio State crushes Michigan.
Although at the very beginning of the game,
I was like, here we go again.
Yeah, the interception.
But once I kicked another field goal,
I was like, yeah, you guys are done now.
because it was 6-0, then 6-3, and then Ohio State kind of
had control of it since then, but it looked miserable cold.
Yeah, that in Illinois. Did you see the Illinois game?
Snow.
Oh, yeah.
There's like nobody there.
Yeah, I saw Bilema with like the ski mask on.
Covering his face?
That's cool.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay, let's see what are the games again?
Oklahoma beat LSU, that was an ugly game.
The whole game is ugly.
Oklahoma does not have an offense.
It's like they just should have their defense.
Like there's a practice mode.
or college football where you can play only defense.
They should just play defense and just try to score on defense.
Yeah.
Because it's the best shot.
It is not good.
All right.
Let's see.
I'm just so,
I have to get all these helmets off my desk.
I'm just so grossed out by college football.
Oh, you want to just take them all down?
Diego Pavia.
Hey, that's a big Vanderbilt win.
That's a big Vanderbilt win.
And now you have money on Pavia to win the Hizman.
He's not going to win the Hizman.
But how awesome for Vanderbilt.
He's moved up.
He's third favorite.
He's not going to win, Kevin.
He's moved up.
You get the invite to New York.
You never know. No, I'm riding.
Remember, I'm riding. I didn't want to buy it after this week.
Oh, you don't? Not anymore. Because he's not going to win because Indiana, they're going to play Ohio State.
But if Indiana loses to Ohio State, you know?
Do you think Mendoza is the guy?
I think Mendoza is probably the big favorite.
But yeah, it's exciting for Vanderbilt fans.
Yeah, and they pulled away at the end there, too.
Let them have it.
Tennessee didn't beat a single team, I think, over 500.
If you look at that.
Like, I don't think they have a quality win.
if you look at their schedule.
I think Texas A&M is a bit dealing with this as well
where they played basically all the bad teams in the SEC
and so we're just like, man, they must be awesome.
And I think they are really good,
but I think we kind of declared their awesomeness
before they actually got to prove they were awesome.
Are you looking at it?
Yeah, they lost to Georgia.
Like look at their wins.
I don't think they have any quality win.
Syracuse, UAB, Mississippi State, Arkansas,
Kentucky, New Mexico State, and Florida.
Yeah
Tennessee didn't beat anybody
Yeah
Our boy at Kentucky got fired
Soops
I didn't see that
Yeah
Paying him out like
$36 million
They just got smoked
By Louisville didn't they
Yeah
Rivalry game
But ours
It's supposed to rival
I cares
College football who cares
I gotta get
See helmets off my desk
It's dropping me crazy
I'll take him to the house
I thought you were gonna say
Goodwill
Like dang dude
No no no no
No I don't care
Did you go to the Y?
I did go to the Y over the break, man.
It was crazy.
So, like, I take my kids to go practice basketball as much as we can.
And our gym was closed, the one that we normally go to.
So we went to the Y.
And they were having, it's like two gyms, right?
And it's split by kind of like a divider.
But it's halfway open so you can kind of see what's going on over there.
And there was a pickup game going on.
And I could just start hearing things get a little fired up.
It was like, you can hear two guys just kind of bickering.
Men, men, men.
Like, get off me, bro.
Like, that kind of stuff.
Hey, whoa, whoa, hey, settle down, settle down, settle down.
Whoa, whoa.
Dude, finally, after like five minutes of just escalating, it just went like, you want some of this?
And just everyone just started going at it.
And I was like, I grabbed my two kids.
I'm like, let's get out of here.
I'm not sticking around to see what happens here.
I've never seen that before.
Pick up.
Scared you?
What?
Oh, yeah.
Well, maybe not scared me, but like the fact that my kids were there and who knows where this was going to go.
There's some big dudes that were about to throw down.
I didn't even want to wait to see.
I'd probably get my phone out
Yeah
You would have
Told my kids go to the car
Yeah
Wait for them in the car
I gotta see this
Yeah I get it
Dude I mean these guys
It's funny because like
Every time I get my kids to play
I think it's just a perfect situation
Because I have a 12 year old
And the 10 year old
And they're about the same skill wise
You know one of the older ones
Just a little better
Because he just has more experience
But having them play one on one
is like the best scenario for them.
It makes them both better, but they always fight.
Like it always turns in to like a get off me bro situation.
And like, I don't know how to do this.
And then when I saw that fight, I'm like, I guess this never ends.
You know, like the fight during a basketball game.
I mean, I think I want to fight people when they take a pocket spot from me.
I think it's a competitive if you get disrespected.
Yeah, especially about your brother.
Yeah.
You got to ref it.
I try to.
But I mean, to me, I'm like, all right, guys, one-on-one.
This is good practice for both of you guys.
It always ends up with like, he's friends.
Fowling me. He's fouled me first. Okay, guys.
You'd think the college football playoffs has ruined the excitement of the regular season?
Yeah. You do? I do.
Oh, man, I don't at all. I'm ready for the playoffs.
It's so exciting that all these teams still have a chance.
Yeah. I don't necessarily hate the playoff by any means, but I'm just saying, like, even
Ohio State, they're like, oh, this game is for everything against Michigan.
It's like, not really. If Ohio State loses, they're still going to make it.
Yeah, but the rivalry is what I felt like that was about.
Yeah, but it added even more.
Michigan would have gotten the playoff if they won.
This, oh, the other day?
Yeah.
Yeah.
But then it wouldn't have done anything in the playoff.
That's okay.
I think it's added a lot to it because you have like 20 teams all still like in the mix
that we're paying attention to.
It's like exciting to watch.
Vanderbilt may not even make it.
They've got, they're going to go, what, 10 and 2?
They went 10 and 2?
Yeah.
But the grand scheme of things, it's like, okay, yeah, this is more fun.
But when you look at it week to week, it's like, okay, if they lose, if they lose
are okay.
But do you feel like the playoffs in the NFL, because it's the same way?
Do you feel like it's less exciting because of the playoffs in the NFL?
Do you feel like it should just be the best four teams in the NFL, play each other in a four-way?
It doesn't take away from the playoffs to you, does it?
No, it doesn't.
But I don't know.
Maybe it's a tradition thing for me with college football.
I just loved how every single week was just like, this is it.
This is the big week.
This is the big week.
And then the next week could be the biggest week.
And then just build up, build up.
And then if you lose, it's like, oh, you're done.
So it's just the change that you don't like.
I've gotten used to it, but I still loved, like, the crazy upsets that ruined an Alabama season.
Yeah, I just feel like I took too many fan bases out of being idiots.
And I love idiots camping outside of Chancellor's homes.
Like, I love all that.
And we, I mean, there's like 16, 17 teams right now that are still kind of in the mix.
Maybe it's because I don't have like super loyal to a team either.
That could be it.
And mine could be because I know my team on every one through,
10, so I'm hoping to like at some point
scrounge in. You got a shot?
But I feel like I really like the playoffs.
Yeah, I do too. But like Texas,
like, so do you think Texas will make the playoffs?
No chance.
Okay. I just feel like there, a lot of times
it's like you're watching Texas or watching a team
like Texas and be like, all right,
week four, we're like, well, they lose one more,
it's over. And then they beat
you know, A&M, you're like, ooh,
could they be back? But you can't go,
I'm not going to go into three lost team. There are too many two
lost teams that aren't going to get in. And Texas did
beat Vanderbilt, but...
And they beat some good teams. That's the crazy part.
You can't lose three games
in a season like this year
and get into the playoff.
Texas will not go in over Vanderbilt, even though
they beat Vanderbilt, and they scheduled harder than Vanderbilt.
You ever thought you would say that? No, never.
That's crazy. But a three-lost team
is not going to go in over a bunch of these two lost teams.
Let us in. Let us in.
Sark was politic, and soon as that game was over, he was like,
they will just not be the same. Why do we schedule it?
Yeah, that was awesome.
Yeah.
The weird part's going to be if BYU beats Texas Tech, which I don't think they will.
But if they do beat Texas Tech, BYU gets that spot and a lot of teams are left out.
Because that's an at-large spot.
Because Texas Tech is for sure.
If they don't win their championship game, the craziest of all those, Duke going into the AC Championship.
Yeah, and they're like 500.
They're like a little bit above 500.
They lost to North Carolina State this year, which is in conference, but it wasn't counted
as a conference game because it was already scheduled before the change conferences.
Yeah, so they're a 500 team playing in the conference championship game.
And if you win that championship, you're in.
No, not necessarily the top, what, five conference champions go in.
Yeah, it's the power four.
ACC could not have a person in the game if, like, James Madison is ranked over Duke.
If Duke wins.
If Virginia gets in, they're ranked high enough because they'll be ranked higher than the, I guess it's probably going to be James Madison.
Anyway, I like it.
I just wondered what Kevin thought about it.
Yeah, more of a tradition.
I guess. I like the old school.
But you didn't have a team though.
It was easier to root for just big people to fall.
Yes.
If you don't have a team.
Yeah, that's probably what it was.
Did it suck when Tennessee lost or not really?
Oh, man. No, because I was going to...
Because you're not a fan.
Because I got a shot to win two grand, baby.
You're not a fan.
I was rooting for Diego more than anybody this weekend.
Yeah, he should go to New York.
Man, how crazy when Clark Clay said, we're here to win a national championship.
And Diego Pavi was like, I'm here to win a Heisman and we're like,
oh, great.
Okay, guys.
That's cute.
And now they're 10 and 2,
and he's going to be in New York
at the Heisman ceremony, I would assume.
Yeah, he'll definitely be there.
I mean, he sat in this chair and said that.
Yeah, we're like, okay, dude.
We're glad you came in,
so we're not going to push back, but okay, dude.
Thanks for the helmet, dude.

I'm Ego Wadam.
My next guest, you know from
Step Brothers Anchorman,
Saturday Night Live,
and the Big Money Players Network.
It's Will Ferrell.
Woo.
Woo.
My dad gave me the best advice ever.
I went and had lunch with them one day,
and I was like,
and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot.
I don't know what that means,
but I just know the groundlings.
I'm working my way up through,
and I know it's a place that come
look for up and coming.
talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet.
Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes,
but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel
fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.
It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat, just hang in there. Yeah. It would not be
Right, it wouldn't be that.
There's a lot of luck.

at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring
inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth.
You doctored this particular test twice in so-ins, correct? I doctored the test ones.
It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see
what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected.
They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing.
Greg Alesspian and Michael Marantini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young.
This is Love Trap.
Laura, Scottsdale Police.
As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences.
Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Americopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges.

You spent Thanksgiving in Arkansas?
I did.
Yeah, first time, I've driven through there,
but first time outside of our work stuff
that I've been there for multiple days.
Where did you go?
Heber Springs.
I'm familiar. Why?
My uncle lives there, actually.
You guys met him when we were in Fayetteville?
Oh, Uncle Willie.
Uncle Jerry.
Uncle Jerry. Shout out, Uncle Jerry.
He listened to this show all the time, actually, too.
So, yeah, we went out there for a few days,
surprised him, had a great time.
Family flew in from Tahoe, from Boston all over,
and we were there for a couple days.
It was awesome.
What did you guys do?
It was like the traditional Thanksgiving.
Nothing, I mean, we don't have any...
You didn't cook?
No, I didn't cook.
I cut the turkey for the first time, though.
You were the one?
I was the one, dude.
Have you ever done it?
Yeah, every time.
Really?
I'm the head of the household, so I usually cut the turkey.
Yeah.
Do you have like a technique down?
I start with the breast.
It's right down the middle and then slice it.
And then end with all the dark meat.
Okay.
The legs.
Why?
What'd you do?
I did legs first.
Microwave.
Oh, no.
You went legs first.
I went legs first.
Dude, it looked good.
I watched a YouTube video, of course, while doing it.
I was like, I got to figure out how to do this.
But it looked really good and it tasted really good.
Food was good.
We were on the lake, too, so it was a good time.
The college ball playoff automatically includes the five highest ranked conference champions.
They can come from any conference, power or group of five.
So, SEC champ will get in for sure.
Big 12.
And whomever doesn't win will for sure get in.
Big 10, Big 12.
But if, let's say James Madison wins,
and they're in the Sunbelt, I think,
if I'm just going from memory,
if they're in the Sunbelt
and they win and they're ranked higher
than the ACC champ,
I think it could keep the freaking
ACC from having a team.
Sunbelt, yeah.
Man, that'd be wild if Duke wins the ACC.
In Miami's sitting out.
Yeah.
Yeah.
All right.
My foot is killing me.
Like, it's even hard to concentrate
on whatever you guys are saying
because my,
we went to the Brett Eldridge show last night
and I haven't walked around on it as much as I did like yesterday
because we went, parked, walked in,
did the thing where you have to sit in a seat.
Do you get dropped off?
No, we drove.
No, no, no, like, does your wife drop you off the front from the door?
No, she's pregnant.
I know, but you have the handicap.
No.
Okay.
We had a pretty good parking spot because Brett's like,
I got you a parking spot.
Oh, okay, that's good.
So we didn't like parking.
That's nice.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, but I haven't walked on it as much.
Man, I woke up.
First of all, the show didn't start until nine.
Oh, wow.
on a Sunday night.
And we didn't get back
or we'd have gone
to another show
like Friday
or Saturday.
He does three shows.
So I didn't get
start until nine
so I didn't get home
until 11.
30.
So I didn't get a lot of sleep
but my foot is just like this
because it's the first time
I've walked on it really
this much.
Do you have first day of school
kind of like
can't sleep?
For what?
Like whenever you come back
from like a little break?
I kind of had that last night.
Oh no.
Because I had late night out
And I was already like...
I was tired.
I know I'm going to be sleepy
and my leg is killing me
but I wasn't going to miss that show.
So, yeah, no, you guys have been talking to
some Momo Jumbo.
I haven't been here.
Oh, that's good stuff.
Really good stuff.
We talked to a little Arkansas, do you remember?
I do remember all of it, but man, I'm not...
My leg has kept me from me and totally focused.
All right, we're done.
Thank you all.
Eddie, anything you want to add?
Oh, man.
We're good.
It's good to be back with you guys.
I don't know there's anything that I miss.
That Alabama Auburn game was good until the very, very end.
bad fumble
yeah I was asleep but I watched the majority of the game
I was asleep for the two-point conversion with the
no I wasn't asleep I was at the show
I knew it was something the two-point conversion
that Broncos and commanders I saw Traylon Burks who played at Arkansas
yeah dude great catch yeah I didn't see it live I just saw the clip
but a hundred times I saw it live was amazing yeah
yeah and they talked about how he didn't do so good in Tennessee
but he's here now he's been hurt the whole time
I was his first touchdown in three years really yeah
first round draft pick
he was awesome at Arkansas
Arkansas. Oh, those are the days.
It makes me sad again. I'm hurting and I'm sad. It's cold outside. It is cold, man.
Here's what I learned. People in Arkansas that claim they know crap don't know crap about what's
happening with the program. Like nobody called it. It's probably like that everywhere.
Nobody called it. People called the wrong. Nobody called it. So, all right. That's all.
You guys have a great rest of the day. And if you got this far, send me a DM on Instagram.
Just be like, hey, got to the end of 25 whistles.
On the day that you were complaining about your leg.
We do have a Spotify comments from a week and a half ago?
Oh, we do? Any of those?
Yeah, yeah.
Well, I got a few.
We can send it and talk about it next time.
Okay, yeah.
I'll send them to you.
Hey, yeah, thanks.
Keep commenting because it knocks things up in the algorithm, for sure.
Yeah.
All right, thank you guys.
We'll see you later on this week.
