So I don't have COVID. But I thought that was the only disease left. I thought that was the only disease we cared about. Yeah, the fact that you don't have COVID is fine. I mean, you have anything else. Who cares? I think you have everything else. That's great.

But I don't have COVID. And I'm actually getting better now. So whatever it is, I've beat. So how bad do I sound right now? 1 through 10, you sound like 7. Because 10's perfect. That's pretty good. You were with me a couple

days ago when it was like a 2. Oh, dude, you started talking and it was like, oh, we're not going to be able to do anything. Yeah, but you sound a lot better. Thank you. Thank you. A little water. So, a couple things have gone wrong today.

First of all, I tried to eat breakfast this morning and my spoon is way too big it's when you have no regular sized spoons the only spoons left in the drawer those big all fat humongous spoons like the ones you cook with? No, like this one it's not

small enough for cereal but it ain't big enough to mix and cook with that's like to serve salad and stuff why do they make this side? No no this is not big enough for salad they shouldn't make this size spoon the normal spoon is fine the big big spoon is fine

this almost extra large but not quite spoon is too big and the only time we ever use it in my house is whenever we're out of the other spoons so why don't we just get more small spoons instead of these big spoons yeah talk to your wife about that but not in that tone but why not in that tone I don't even know why they make spoons of this size

and I'm trying to have my yogurt and it's too big to like put a hole in my... Like the spoon will go on my mouth but just barely so that didn't work out for me the shirt, the neck is too wetered on it. I lost my wedding ring, so now I'm wearing my real one. Oh, no. You lost a rubber one, though. That's fine.

That's the real one. No, no, that's the real one. Listen, I want to tell you what happened. So I was getting married. And I bought my wife, her engagement ring. She had never seen it. I proposed. Boom, nailed it.

It's big. It's a nice one. And so we go to get my ring, and I think, well, if she's got a little something, something, I should get a little son-z-z-da-old. You know what I mean? Like, something. And so I go, and I get a little zonzo.

And it's got like diamonds on the insides of, on both. I can't even get it off now. It's got diamonds on the insides. Dude, that things twinkly. Dang. And it was a little something something. And so, but then I never wear it because, one, metal, I don't like sleeping with it on. And if I don't sleep with it on, I forget about it at the morning.

And then two, it's, it's. hurts sometimes and then three it's expensive I don't want to lose it so I wear the rubber one and the rubber one's red which I really like

yeah yes I lost the rubber one so now I'm wearing something something and I'm worried about it all the time so I slept with it on last night and I woke up and it won't come off a finger you just saw that yeah it's on forever now

well it did finally come off but I ripped some skin to get it off but there we go so that happened how did you lose the red one did you take it off someone you go to the bar you went to the bar

didn't you Hey, hold this, will you? Put that in your pocket. Those ones come in all the different colors and whatnot, right? Did guys do that? Hold this, put that in your pocket when I go into a bar? I'm sure. Why wouldn't they?

Yes, of course they do. Why wouldn't they? Probably. But do you have friends that have done that? I haven't. No, but I wouldn't surprise me if people did. Eddie jumped on that a little too quick. I used to do that joke.

I used to do that joke. I remember we were with Lunchbox and Amy, and I told Lunchbox in front of Amy, I said, hey, hold my ring, dude. We're going to the bar. And Amy goes, Eddie! Like, it's a joke.

It was a joke. Okay, well, here we are. Fresh off. Did anybody watch Baker come back last night, 90 years? Me too. Come on. And I don't always watch the end of those games

because usually they suck. Yes. And I usually only watch them for fantasy purposes because, again, they usually suck. And so I was watching last night. And Baker played well in the first half. You feel like they kind of got onto them

a little bit in the second half? Well, he came in, you know, replaced the original quarterback and he was throwing the ball well um and then what 98 yards no timeouts touchdown yeah why the raiders were playing press coverage on the outside and i just saw them talking about as well as they did that sounds good sherman was getting all he was i watched all of them just go at them yeah and so the raider two stories here one holy crap baker mayfield 98 yards with a minute left wins the game for the for the rams uh two The Raiders get any momentum.

Oh, my gosh. And they just get swept out from underneath them. I mean, they did it to themselves. Yeah. Have they fired their defensive coordinator yet? They've blown, what, three or four games? Four. Double digits.

Yeah. a few days before and learn the entire playbook and lead the team to a victory. That's crazy. So that offensive coordinator is now going to Kentucky to be the offensive coordinator again.

He left Kentucky to go to the Rams. He was the guy who got Baker as prepared as possible in two days. So what I've read about, and I'm a big Baker guy. Always have been a big Baker guy. Even when you guys aren't? Yeah, I'm not really.

I'm Big Baker guy. I think Baker's been in two places that are quarter by killers. But I'm big Baker guy. only because he's a fan of me because otherwise And you're fan of him Yeah yeah otherwise

I'd probably like yeah But apparently They one Put it all on his wristband Where he could just call the number Which is typical for quarterbacks That are in a system and still have trouble But they abbreviated for him

Apparently it's a really smart guy So he can pick up stuff quick But they abbreviated it on his arm They ran Only a small portion of the playbook so we didn't have to memorize the whole playbook. When they sent him the playbook, they sent him the whole thing,

but they were like, we're not going to break out of this. So you need to hopefully understand the concepts of this small package. And then, too, that offensive coordinator, from what I read, learned a bit about what he was running and was able to be the translator

between the two. Oh, wow. Yes. So because of that, they patchworked an offensive system together. That's really cool. And again, they patchworked it without their number one receiver.

They patchworked it with, I mean, Cam Acres, I guess, is the guy again, but they don't really have a guy, even though Cam Acres is the guy again. He did score touchdown late in the game. I did have him any time touchdown score on Draft King. Oh, good for you. That's a good bet, dude. It was a good bet, yeah.

I had another one, too, where I teamed him up with a Clippers Parlay. Hit all four of them. Dang. Well, I cheated. It was the one on. It was like, L.A. Parlay. And I didn't have time to get in and make a lot of bets for that game because then I cared much about it.

But I was like, I like that one. So I bet it hit all four. That's ballsy, I don't have the guts to go cross sports bets. Well, I don't either, but it was the only one available. And I was like, I got to take that one right there. That's cool. So I like that. It was the cammakers anytime.

It was over 41 yards rushing. And it was like somebody on getting a certain amount of rebounds for the clippers. And I was like, I don't know, like, whatever. And I hit it. Yeah, I hit it. It was awesome. So I believe that was a lot of the reason as to why he was able to pull that off. And also, he was just flinging it.

You know, he did it? What did he have to lose last night? He came in as the backup. If he screws up, well, of course. One, it's the Rams. And two, he didn't have any time. But he looked good doing it. Yeah.

He threw some dimes. Just dropped him. You see him headbud that guy too? Well, that's his thing now. He's so stupid. He's so stupid. He should stop doing that. No, no, it's too late.

It's too late now. He has to keep doing it. The problem is he's going to hurt himself having to live up to the Baker standard. But it was really cool. I liked it. I liked to see Baker succeed. I watched the. locker room talk right after the game.

Did you guys see that? Sean McVeigh comes in and he's pumped obviously and they're bleeping out all the curse words so it's only like every third word you hear but he's going hey great and he gives the coordinator a ball

and he congratulates a couple other guys and he's like the guy's been here for 10 minutes and then Baker Mayfield comes in and looks like the leader of the team what I noticed was he comes right in knows the chant the group chant immediately

is like I'm here, I'm glad to be home. And they're all like, they're jumping all over, I'm slapping his head. I don't know, it's pretty cool. And to hear some of the people at the Panthers and even the Browns talk,

even the Panthers love Baker. They were like, we love, as a teammate, he was awesome. He came in and was very supportive of the other two quarterbacks when we put him third. We liked him so much, we cut him. Yeah, they didn't want to.

They didn't want to hold him back. That makes sense. They knew he wasn't going to be there forever, even next year, and they wanted to give him a shot. And that says something because they could have held them and just paid him that money, which it wasn't a lot,

and had him just in case Sam Darnold went down, had him just, but they were like, no, we liked him so much, we cut him. So that does say something, as much you get on Baker for being at times extra. Extra. In many ways. The fact that you had Browns and Panther organizational folks going, hey, we like Baker a lot as a person.

And also, if it were two other teams, if you were playing for the Broncos or, Tampa or any of these teams I'm not putting the teams that are at the top of the echelon but even the healthy-ish teams that are known to be okay

at developing quarterbacks or having structure maybe you think different about them but it was the Browns and the Panthers. So you feel like it was almost Carolina apologizing for being Carolina. And also I'm a baker guy too

so. Yeah you are. But we're here. That was a fun one to watch. I'm glad everybody you know was able to watch the game last night and win money. Do you guys want any money? Do you guys bet the other side? You did? I feel like a lot of people

probably bet the other side. You got new quarterback and the Rams haven't been looking good. Well, they weren't starting Baker either. Right. So you're thinking like, oh, I mean, the Raiders can pull this off. I mean, why not? They were like seven-point favorites too, right? Is that what it was? Six and a half. It was at seven at the beginning of the day. So, yeah, you guys should fight about that. No, no, we're good.

No, it was seven. Yeah, I didn't bet the game pre. I have both of those teams in my owner league, which I was kind of pulling for the Raiders to win before Baker went in, because if the Raiders win, they continue their streak and they're fighting for the playoffs. And the Rams come with a fresh Baker next week ready to go and prove himself. Didn't quite work out like that because I love storylines and emotion. I like teams to win on emotion.

But it's a good game. Any game where Al Michaels doesn't want to kill himself in the middle of the game is a victory. Doesn't he sound miserable? Always. Yeah, it's a touchdown. Yeah, I don't even know how these coaches do this anymore. more, man. Is that because he's on Amazon?

Because he wasn't like that. All the games are bad. All the games are bad. And they stuck him with a college guy. And they stuck him with Herb Street. So, all right. So let's do, we're already kind of warm, but let's warm it up anyway. When you're not feeling great, which has been my case for the past few days, which, again,

I'm back to 100% health now except for my voice. What is it that you need food or drink-wise? What is your go-to? If you're like, I'm not feeling good, I need this. Eddie. Easy. Chicken noodle soup and spright. I mean, I don't know what that did as a kid, but my mom was just like, oh, you're not feeling good. Let's get you some soup and a little of a sprite, and it'll make you feel better. And it did.

I think the sprite is the carbonation. So probably sparkling water would be better than the sugary drink. Probably, but if it makes you feel good. It does. It makes you feel good. And that warm soup, dude, yeah. It's great. Kevin. I like it. Soup as well with salting crackers and some pediolite. Is it go-to for me for sure? No, I didn't say hungover.

I said if you're sick. Well, usually if I'm sick, then I'm hung over. That same thing. Okay. They go together. Good. Mike? Topochico.

This is that carbonation. That's all? Yeah, that's all you need. No food or anything? That's it. You're sick. You just want water? I just need the liquids.

Okay. Adam. I like coconut water and, uh, coconut water and usually is soup. I don't care if it's chicken noodle soup. Just, just something liquidy and whatever. I just like sugar. Yeah. So like a Kit Kat bar?

It doesn't matter. Just give me all the sugar. I think I just use being sick as an excessive. to openly eat all the sugar because I love sugar all the time but I'm like God I really am I going to do it but when I'm sick I'm like you know what I'm going to do it because it makes you feel better

so a lot of sugar like pile it in the worst thing possible that's what I do all right let's do the tittle tattle do you think Hendon Hooker or Blake Quorum got snubbed from the Heisman finalists did you see they released the top 10 in order no I didn't what is that

they put them I wish I would have saved the image Google it up but Hooker was 5 then Corum was 6 or 7 but it's on a screen the 4 in the middle big and the other 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

they put the numbers beside them and they're all on the sides Okay So they did release the order They all came out Corum Nah, not so much It's a quarterback award now

Right For the most part Hooker sure I don't know why they just didn't put 5 in there I'm not saying that he should be over anyone else, but he should. I feel like he should.

But I do feel like they should have at least put five in there in this situation because he was elite and he had better stats. I don't want to call anybody out because I don't want to pull anyone out of the running. I think what these guys did all great. Oh, here we go. We have it right here. I think C.J. Stroud was just only in because he was way in at the very beginning and never played himself out.

But I don't think he was super dynamic. Stetson Bennett, there's an argument that he probably shouldn't be in the top four either. I like that, dude. Especially with Hendon Hooker, if you compare stats. But again, it's not just a stat award. It's almost like entertainer of the year

at the CMAs. You know what? it means, but there's really no absolute definition or protocol as to how and why you get that person. I feel it's like, you look at them and you're like, all right, is that, was that the best player of the year? Like overall. But I think also C.J. Stroud and Stetson Bennett get a little bit of benefit from last year because Stetson wins the national championship wasn't even the starter all year, had a really good borderline great season. We'll vote him in there. He's a quarterback Like a Georgia, the number one team.

It's like the MVP race in all the professional sports. Usually you got one person from that team that's in that. It's rare that you don't have a person from the Yankees in the MVP race if they are winning the American League. If the chiefs, Mahomes is going to be in the race. So Stets and Bennett is in because of that. He had a great season, but he's in because he's the quarterback for Georgia and they didn't really have anybody else. They were going to throw in there that should have been in there. you go to TCU

I mean I'll go to Caleb Williams first he's going to win it but nobody really came in and walked away with the Heisman this year he's going to win it because when everybody else had a shot

they either played fine or they didn't but nobody had that door open for them just kind of kicked the door down so here we go here's the list you have the four Eddie can you name the four that are up

for it? Can I name him? Yeah. Dougan, Stroud, Bennett, and Caleb Willem. Okay, good for you, buddy. Yeah, I got you.

I'm not even looking at a list. Well, you look down on your computer, but then I realized you were searching for something. What I'm looking for is the Heisman bet, because it hadn't been up all week, and I still don't think it's up. I think Caleb Williams is such a huge favorite. These betting sites are not going to put that better.

Well, he's also won the two big awards already for, like, player and offensive player of the year that aren't the Heisman. And so yes, it's him. Because nobody else deserves to win it over him. Stroud is not going to win it over him. How cool would a shocker be, though, dude? So when they're all there and they're like, all right, Caleb's ready, he's so ready.

Stetson, Bennett. And we're like, what the up? Max Duggan. I would love to see Doug and win it. I would love it too. The reason I say that that, and it probably won't happen anyway, we all know that. The only reason I could see it happening is if there were another West Coast guy that was in that voting, and it was splitting the vote a bit.

Yeah. And that's not happening because Stroud's Ohio State, Midwest, Dugging, TCU, Texas, Georgia, SEC. Yeah. It's the perfect scenario for Caleb Williams. A hooker at five, Bryce Young at six. Why are you shaking your head? Because I still think he's the best player I've watched all year. You know what?

And when you shook your head, I thought he doesn't think Bryce should be at six. I think Bryce should be in the top four. I think he should win it. Yeah, I agree. I think if you put a C.J. Stroud even on that Alabama team, they don't win nearly. most of the games, but they'll lose a lot more than two games. C.J. or excuse me, Bryce Young is so good.

So good. The only problem with him being drafted, because I was looking at, maybe it was Kuyper's Big Board, and he has the Kentucky quarterback, Levis, at three overall, and Bryce Young at four overall. And I think the difference,

Bryce Young's height, they list him at six foot. I don't think he's six foot tall. But I think what I read was, and I still think he's like the fourth or fifth overall pick, so don't waste your tears, is that he processes the game so much faster than everybody else, they say. But Bryce Young at 6,

again, they're not in it, so they're not in it. But the same can be, I mean, Caleb Williams, USC's not in it. They just nobody can take it from him. Blake Corman at 7, Bijan, Drake May,

who's coming back, by the way, in North Carolina. He just said he's going to come back and play again next year. I like watching that guy. Which could have, he probably would have been a first round guy. Because those quarterbacks will get drafted earlier, then they really are worth if you're just

basing on a talent because it's so important of a position and maybe you get lucky. Or maybe Anthony Richardson will go on the first round because of the tools that he has from Florida. Now, did he play well enough to go, man, based on what he did at Florida, he should go on the first round? No. He had a couple games where we're like, golly. The Utah game, at the beginning of the year. He won the Heisman. That seemed like so long ago. It does. He won the Heisman. It was awesome. Congratulations. But to your question, Hinden Hooker should have probably, they should have done five.

I don't want to pull any of them out because I don't want to do that. But I think they could have done five and it had been fine. I wonder if they've ever done five, by the way. And I don't think it's a participation thing. I just think Hooker deserve to be there. So, hey, take all 10. Who cares? That'd be cool. Send everybody in New York. Yeah, why not?

Free trip. Send him all there. So I'm going to go with, I think he should be in New York. If he wouldn't have been hurt, I mean, I could see him be in the top three. If he had another game or so to pad some stats, I think they probably would have beat Vanderbilt. They would have still lost South Carolina because they were losing that game pretty bad. But if they beat Vanderbilt, they're probably in it. Wait, wait, wait, hold us.

They didn't lose to Vanderbilt. Who do they lose to? South Carolina. And they lost early. Who's the other game now? Georgia. Georgia. They're not going to beat South Carolina.

Carolina, but I think he could have come into Vanderbilt and padded some numbers, and it had been a much easier argument, because his numbers are already better than Stetson Bennett. All right, next question. Do you think the transfer portal is bad for college football? No, I love the transfer portal. I would change a couple rules on it. I think just because it exists and you hate it now doesn't mean you should wipe it completely away. I think you could do a couple things to it to make it easier for everyone to keep up with. The good thing about it is, once you transfer once and as long as you're not a graduate, you can't transfer again. You're locked in.

I do think they should make that two years. If you agree to go to a school, you got two years there. Similar to you can't go into the NFL until you are three years out of high school or, I don't know why I sung that, or high school, or the NBA right now, which

will change again, you've got to be one year out of high school before you go to the NBA. I think if you transfer, you should be, excuse me, before you transfer, you should have two years at the program you transferred from. So you don't get there as a freshman, get your panties in a wide because you didn't play, because most freshmen don't play if you go to Power 5 school. You see what happens your sophomore year, then if you don't like it, then you can go.

So I think that small change would make a big difference. I haven't seen this anywhere. I've seen anyone to write this, so I'm sure someone could tell me why I'm absolutely wrong, but I feel like one year's too quick. But the good side of that is is that if someone transfers to your school after one year, then you have them. They can't leave

unless they graduate. Because if you do graduate, then you can transfer again. You know, that's the rule. That's always been the rule. That's Russ. That's how he transferred from North Carolina State. He graduated. Went to Wisconsin. So, I like it.

But I want to love it, and I think I can love it if they make a couple alterations. We got a couple nice suits and they look really good. But they were just a little wide in the leg. And I wore one to the CMA. It was a blue one. I don't have to pay for it. It's crazy now. I'm going to tell you the most bizarre thing. Now that I have money, I get

stuff for free. It's crazy. You still talking about the transfer portal? Yeah, I'll get there. I'll get back over there. I'll get back over there. You get stuck on the CMA Awards. And so they send me this, it's a very really nice company. They're like, we'd like to dress you for the CMA. It's I'm like, wait, what? How much does this cost? Like, nothing.

Do I have to post about you? No. Just wear it, and if you want to tag us, tag us. And I googled how much the suit was. It's a $2,000 suit. That's awesome. And you're supposed to send it back. But you wear it, you look good, you send it back.

I don't pay any money. It's amazing. So I go and we alter the legs because they're just, the suit looks great, but the legs are a little wide on me. I'm in that weird size where if I wear a medium, it's a little big, but it's long enough. But if I wear a small size, it fits my legs, but it's too short because I'm tall and thin. And so we alter it just a little bit. Boom, nails it. It looks great. Go to CMAs, can't believe them. It's free.

It's amazing. We do our thing. We get out of there. A post. You can see it on my Instagram. That's light alteration. Made all the difference in the world. It looks so good. They said, hey, thanks for doing that. You look great. Keep the suit. I was like, really? They're like, yeah. I'm like, all right. So I have the suit. suit and the shirt, everything with it. That slight alteration, made it look perfect. Same thing with the transform portal. There we go. We got that. If there is just a small

two years, that's all I'm asking. It's just one more year. It's no big change. You've got to be in for two years before you leave. If you do that, it's great. But yes, I love the portal. If in real life you go to a job you don't like, you go to a boss that makes you feel uncomfortable, it's too far of a drive. You can't get back to your family because traffic is so

bad or it's a little further. You can change jobs. in real life. Now, you don't want to go and do it for a month and then leave. It looks bad at your next employer. So you do have to stay a little bit. And if you do want to leave after one year, you have to sit out a year.

Yeah. So you can leave. Yeah, because that's what I was going to ask too. Like, who is it? From SC to West Virginia, J.T. Daniels. Georgia. He's been in six schools. He's the ultimate free agent.

Dude. When do you stop? I'm assuming. I remember when he played in Missouri, right? No. SC, Georgia. He never played in Missouri?

Ohio State. I don't know. Now we're just throwing. teams out there? Yeah, yeah. First guessing. Okay. Yes, he's been everywhere. I mean, he is that song. I've been to West Virginia Montana. Montana. I'm assuming with him that happened early, because he has one year of eligibility left, I think. It happened pre. Maybe he's a graduate as well. Maybe he used the portal. It's almost like you can play seven years because of the COVID year. Yeah, Annie Torres-A-Col, I think twice. So there's a lot of situations there. But, yes, I like the portal.

I love the portal. I'm going to say that. I love the portal. I think it makes it more real life. I love NIL. I think it makes it more real life. You should be able to make money off of who you are. But should there be changes to these rules a little bit absolutely? It's the Wild West right now and we're slowly figuring out who the sheriff is.

We don't know yet. So, okay, cool. What else you got? Last college one here. Do you think the committee got the final four correct? On the Heisman? For the playoffs? I was better to say, guys, am I sick? Are we just having this question?

Yeah. I mean, controversial when I said it. I know you guys probably didn't agree with me, but I said if TCU loses, they should stay in. And that was way early. And they did. So yeah, I'm okay with it. I would have rather seen Alabama in than Ohio State.

I think Alabama beats Ohio State. I think I'm just an SEC Homer as well. I'll admit that. And Ohio State gets everything gifted to them. Always. So, sure. I can't really argue. Sure.

You saw everybody coming out hating Alabama. anti-alabama. So Bama fatigued. But I'm Ohio State fatigued too. I wish it would have been somebody else in the argument that we hadn't seen before. But yes, I would say they got it right.

I wish they would have put Ohio State and Michigan up against each other first because we could watch that game again and it'd be fun. Because Georgia's going to pounce, Michigan's going to pounce, probably, and they're going to play each other.

But Buffalo's a healthy, healthy, healthy organization. And it's weird to say that after a whole lifetime of them not being, I still think they're fine until they prove otherwise. I feel like Josh Allen's, they're not talking about his arm anymore. No, he's hit that pretty well. If he's still hurting, we can't tell. And I don't know that he still is anymore. No, literally, I don't know.

Yeah, literally, I don't know. We have no clue. But I'm going to go with, I'm sure they're going to have to figure out how to do it, but I think they're going to figure out how to do it because they are a well-run organization right now. Can Von Miller still be an effective leader from the sideline? Is that possible? Sure.

Yes, but what's effective mean? His play was a big part of why he was so effective as a player and a leader. But yes, I think he'll be respected. It also comes to a point where once players are hurt, like how much do they actually still invest in, he'll still be there, he'll still be doing everything. And I don't know Von Miller personally, but I know some players that, yeah, they're there

and they're on the sideline cheering, but they're not in the room all the time. They're not spending all this time in film with the other linebackers. Now, if he does that, I think he's worth even more, but if he doesn't, which I don't know that we all would spend the exact same amount of time if we're injured in those rooms than if we weren't.

Well, you probably have to rehab too, so that takes a lot of time. So, yes, he can be effective, but as effective, probably not. Next up. And it's from one of the heads at the Dallas Cowboys. And I'm like, okay, because some developments have created a situation. we'll call you before five. And I said, all right. It actually said, I don't want to say what it is, but something happened, and it's throwing several things up in the air for this weekend.

I expect to have clarity by tomorrow afternoon. We'll call you at 5 p.m. with the update. And so, I was nervous. And the next day, 5 o'clock came. And it did not get a call. 515, 530, 545, and then, boom, a number from Dallas calls. And I answer it.

I say, hello. He says, hey, this is so-and-so. We appreciate your patience. We're still on. Yeah. Woo. That's huge. Yeah.

He said, we were real close to having to cancel it because of some things, sports-related things. Yeah. But we're still good to go. We're still on. I really thought it was going to be canceled. Man, I started thinking about this. I wonder if the conversation was just like, all right, there's some stuff that, you know, if we allow a full intense interview with.

with Jerry Jones with someone like, I don't want to talk. We don't want to talk about the stuff. We can't talk about this stuff right now. But the reputation of the dude coming into town is like he's going to keep it real. He's cool. He respects us. He's going to ask good questions, but he's not going to invade our privacy. So let Bobby do it.

That was really my thought of just like, dude, what cool reputation do you have that they're thinking like, no, Bobby would be a great one to talk to. I'm not worried about him. I don't know if that's the case or not. That's what I would hope for it to be. mostly for stupid things I'm doing on television which I never liked because I always knew what was coming soon after, bare grills, breaking body bones. The only time I get to ride on one, it was kind of fun, was I went to Blake Shelton, I stayed with him for a weekend, and the helicopter took me to the airport.

That's great. From that place in Oklahoma to the Dallas airport, which I guess is pretty close. Like his ranch? Yeah. Wow, that's cool. Yeah. That's awesome.

Mike had a really funny joke about Blake that I didn't do because it had something in the joke that I don't think I'm supposed to share. What is it? Well, I can't say here. Did you say it with Mike? Not funny. What's the joke? And I really can say, not bad.

Nothing like that. But it's like, you know, people have their own personal. I'm never going to reveal something if somebody doesn't want it revealed personally. But that helicopter was fun because I had a headset. And I remember talking to, I think it was Rod, who was riding with me. And I was like, pretty cool up here. I don't feel like Magnupi. But, yeah, I like that offense. I think the Chargers could actually win that game, though. I feel like the Chargers are playing pretty good.

Seattle's run defense is bad. I do think Carolina can win that game. That one's interesting to me, but just the local interest is probably the Titans and the Jaguars. The Jaguars are kind of playing good again. Are they convincing us again? They might be pretty good next year.

I love Dion Sanders because I am lucky enough to have had a relationship with Dionne Sanders. I loved him when I met him. I was nervous to meet him, was starstruck while meeting him, and then after spending many, many days with him and extreme close quarters

came away going whatever he wants. Nervous because he seemed cocky? No, nervous because he's Deion Sanders. And he's the greatest defensive back in the history of the NFL. Well, I thought maybe you felt like you may not like him

because he's such a big character. He was never cocky. In person, when I was with him, he was never once cocky or arrogant. If anything, he was extremely humble. That's awesome. And I wrote about him and I haven't read my first book

ever except for when I did the audio book but I know I wrote about you wrote it in my first book Bear Bones our experience together they brought me in as part of like a hundred people as a cattle call and said hey we have this talk show that we're developing for ABC we're gonna find a couple hosts

daytime talk show do you want to be in the running and I was like yeah sure so I go out and I spent like two or three days just auditioning doing one thing after the other I keep get a move through and like the next to last day I see Dionne Sanders come in and they didn't make him go through the cattle call because it was like me and Lance Bass and Tudy. Yeah. So he, you know, he wasn't that level. Yeah. And so I survive and there's like eight of us left and he's one of them and they team us together. And it was like magic. It's awesome. He was drawn to me.

I was drawn to him. I was super nervous. I sat beside him at lunch and we just were talking. And so we work together and it ended up being him and I. And there were a couple other people on the show too that were kind of side people that we'd go to, but it was him and I hosting the show. And we did a pilot. A whole episode was amazing. And I spent a lot of time with him.

Spent a lot of time with Tracy, his partner. She's awesome. And so when he went to Jackson State, I remember this, I don't think he'd care of me sharing this now. He texted me whenever that Florida State job came open. He's like, hey, well, you tweet

out there, you think I should coach Florida State? And I was like, yeah, sure. How do we not hire Deion Sanders as a head coach of Florida State? Yeah. And so he didn't get that job. I think the coach of Memphis got the job, who's there now. And he went to Jackson State, and he won, they went undefeated, turned the program around.

I get it. His whole career has been him because he's such a large personality. But I love it. I'm rooting for him. I hope he goes over and kills it. I love him. But I have a very personal relationship with him, and I saw what kind of dude he was to somebody. have to be that kind of dude too. He had no reason to be super nice to me.

He had, you know, everybody's, everybody can be nice. Some people aren't. But it was different. He was just the kindest advice offering, advice taking guy. And we stayed in touch after a bit. We don't, I text him when he, the day the job was announced. And it was such a crazy date and text me back. But he's awesome.

some team from, I think, like Mississippi, probably. and the whole stadium, the visitor's side was full. And they were talking about how, like, we just came to see Dilfer. Like, you know, we wouldn't travel this far to just come see our kids play. Like, we can't see Dilfer. We get our kids. Not this far.

So I hope he does well. Do we reach out to him and heard nothing? Yeah, I heard nothing. It was a big time. It's a very busy time for them. Reach out again. Okay. Oh, yeah, they're in the middle of the grind, man.

That's what I said on my DM. Well, no, they're in the middle of changing jobs. Does Mike get a point for that? No. because he was almost a guest. And he was a high school coach at the time. That's true. And it's got to be Power 5, right?

weekend, it goes to playoffs, and people play in multiple leagues. How many leagues are you playing in, and how are you doing quickly in each league? Okay. Eddie, I'll let you go first. Yeah, easy. I'm in three leagues, $100 each, and I am only making the playoffs in one. So it's been a bad year The team you're making the playoffs, whether they're really good?

They're second overall. Oh, good. Yeah, they're pretty good. I don't have a tight end. That's my weak spot. What league is it? Because in our league, you're not making the playoffs, right? No, I'm not making the playoffs.

But in our league, I'm trying not to finish last, which I think I'm doing pretty good there. Which you finish last in our league, you have to pay money. Exactly. So we don't want to do that. But my Achilles heel is my tight end. I lost. I forgot who I lost. I think Pitts maybe or something.

So now I have this Vegas tight end guy who scored nothing for me in the last two games. So I don't, that could be my, that can be my enemy right there. Yeah, after Kelsey. Kevin? I am in two leagues, $100 a piece as well. One of them I started 8-0, doing great, and I've lost three of the last four. Are you still starting players, or you leave them empty? Don't do that crap.

and he's been a massive disappointment. Lamar Jackson's been good in spots, but he hasn't been consistently good all year. And I've had a decent wide receiver play. And then I lost Dallas Goddard, he was giving me good points. And so it's been kind of a bad luck kind of season. But you guys are playing. We're on the edge. For the playoffs?

Yep. Oh, man. Last game of the season. Can't hold anything back now. Mike D's been pretty good this year. For his first year to hop in with us. Yeah, I've been playing in like 10 years. Yeah, he's been pretty good.

It's tough when you get back in because we at least have that wealth of semi-knowledge of playing the year before knowing who sucked and who didn't. and knowing who got a bunch of points and who you wish you had that you didn't draft when you sucked the year before. So yeah, Mike's done pretty well. Good luck.

in a different league. That's tough. It tears me apart inside. So are you a one bracket dude, too, in the final March Madness? Yeah, one bracket. And if I do play multiple brackets, I'd pick all the same teams.

That's crazy. because I don't, I can't. It was like, it's like Iron Man versus Captain America. I can't watch that movie. Because I like them both. And they want to square them off against each other. I'm uncomfortable the whole time. And in wrestling, they put two good guys against each other.

I would be like, I don't know what to do. So, I mean, Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior was miserable for me. That was exactly the same thing I thought about. It was miserable for me. In our league that we have, our fantasy league amongst us, I'm in first place. I am 11 and 2 or 10? and two, something like that, I can look real quick. And it's going pretty good.

I mean, I don't know what to say. I'm 11 and 2. I drafted my homes as my quarterback, so that works. I got my homes and Sequins. That always works. Yeah, my homes and Seek's been really good for me. When I drafted the team, I think I heard four or five people go, you think you're drafting the 2009 fantasy team? I heard the same thing.

You know, St. Brown, I took early because I felt like he was, and that was a really good pick for me. So on that, I think I'm number two and overall points. I'm number one in the league. Over in the other secondary league, which I only got in because our other league hadn't committed to doing yet, I am number one in points, and I am eight and five, but I'm like number two in the league. I'm number one in points. So if I win this week, I'll get a buy and be number one.

And if I don't, I won't get a buy either. I'll go to the playoffs. But I feel pretty good. I drafted most of the same players. I told you guys this because I don't want to be fighting amongst myself. The only problem is I'm playing Pat Mahomes this week. I have Jaylon Hertz as my quarterback in this league. and I have to play my other quarterback, so I'm just not going to watch any football.

I'm just going to check in on it later and see it just. Good thing you'll be busy. It eats me up inside. So, but fantasy teams are doing pretty good. I enjoy fantasy. How many of you want? My wife asked me that the other day. I'm just like, well, I've only won a couple times.

But have you won two championships, but I've been playing for what, 10 years? And how many leagues, so? Lots of leagues. Yeah. I've only played one league ever, this one we're in. And I think I've won four or five out of ten. It's pretty good, man. It's been pretty good.

That's the answer my wife wanted to hear But didn't get One time I was playing Scotty in our league My friend from home but he plays in our league with us And we went to the championship game And Scotty Had a running back that scored a touchdown To win the league

And it was and it was like three minutes left He scores a touchdown I'm like God it's over By one point right I was up five he scored a touchdown He got six points They get the ball back He fumbles

I win the league They took the point away Two points away He fumbled. He fumbled. I won the championship. That's crazy. The fantasy version of bad beats right there. I feel like I remember that. Well, I got bad beat by that touchdown.

And I was like, I'm up five. Oh, no, no, no! Touchdown, the end. And then they get the ball back and he fumbles. And I'm like, Scottie wouldn't talk to me for weeks. And I'm like, dude, I didn't play. It wasn't me, man. I didn't do it.

Oh, it was awesome. Bone still talks about a stack corrections. You always like, you always wait. You never know. But I haven't seen that in a long time. Hey, you never know. Hey, don't forget about stat corrections. Don't forget about stat corrections.

Okay, let's end the show. Let's give some thoughts here. Final thought of the week. Let's go over to our guy, Eddie. Eddie. Man, we're about to approach the greatest day of my life. Not the days my kids were born, but when we go to a Os Cowboys game with Jerry Jones,

dude, it's going to be crazy. There's nothing else in my mind other than that. I cannot wait. Kevin? Last week, I filled in for Eddie to coach the Laker Bones, and it didn't go so well. So I'm looking to redeem myself. Well, the problem is you played a team that shouldn't have been,

you shouldn't have been playing against. It was completely unfair. I called Eddie after he called me and I was like, dude, we didn't belong on the same court as this team. So we're going to redeem ourselves. Again, you shouldn't keep that in your heart because you played a team they shouldn't have ever teamed you up with, a team that was far skill.

With nine-year-olds, there are levels to play. Oh, yeah. Yeah. And they were gold. Even my son said, like, we tried our best. And there's just no way these. guys were so, so, so, so good.

But Eddie did say if he were there, he would have been able to change it up. I don't think it would have been 42. Hey, that's what he said. Oh, yeah. Forty-two. I can't believe they scored 40 points as 9-year-old. Well, they stopped the scoreboard at 20, but it was really 22 to 2 on the score, but I kept to score my head.

Oh, my gosh. That's just getting worse. Like, this game, is it? So do those kids get credited with the points? Like, not on the scoreboard, but if they scored 24, do they get to have all those points in the schedule? I'm sure they're, yeah. You can record your own stats, but they don't.

go anywhere. Is this for you? Adam? This week we had my Christmas show at the Bluebird Cafe. We had some good friends come by. Colby Calais joined us. Carly Pierce joined us. Jimmy Robbins, Andy Albert, and we had an amazing time raising money for Room in the Inn. And so thanks to everybody came out. What is it again? Room in the Inn. It's a ministry in Nashville that does work with the homeless community here. And we had a blast. We raised some good money. And it was awesome. That's cool, man. Yeah. Treve in Brazil is out at Arkansas. He was our six foot 10, six foot. 11. What happened to him? He's so good. Tours ACL out for the year. Nasty. I didn't know that. It really sucks for us. I didn't know that either. He can shoot the three. He'd bring their big guy out, which created more room, more space inside. I don't think it's a total season killer for Arkansas, but I do think it's not fortunate. So really looking to see how they bounce back tomorrow. They're playing Oklahoma, which got beat by Oklahoma last year. But as a big loss for the Arkansas basketball team,

We're a top 10 team right now. Got a lot of freshmen. He was really someone that we had big plans for. He'll go to the NBA. He could have gone to the NBA after this year. He still may, even with the injury. But if anything, I hope he stays and plays again next year. But it's a big tough loss for us, Arkansas fans.

It's my time we talked about Arkansas, the whole show. Look at me. I'm really growing. Do you and your wife watch that game together? She doesn't really care about Oklahoma. She doesn't really. She would. I would say it doesn't care.

She won't make it a point. part of her day to block out time to watch that game. Football, yes. Basketball, not so much, because they're not traditionally a great basketball school. True. They've had good teams, but this year they're not, I don't think they're that good. Whenever Blake and his brother played? Yeah.
