Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed human. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me. Clivert Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits,
Starting point is 00:00:12 my basketball and college football journey, or my career in sports media. Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifers Show. This is a place for raw, unfills of conversations with athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated.
Starting point is 00:00:28 So let's get to it. Listen to the Clifford show on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok podcast network on TikTok. The 2026 NFL draft is here and the NFL Daily podcast has it covered from all angles. Join me, Greg Rosenthal, and Jordan Rodriguez after night one on Thursday. Nick Shook joins me night two Friday and then Sunday to recap everything that went down over the three days in Pittsburgh. We'll tell you who won the draft and which players were my favorite picks. Listen to NFL Daily with Greg Rosenthal on the free IHeart Radio app.
Starting point is 00:01:06 Open the app, search NFL Daily, and listen now. In 2023, Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd was accused of fathering twins. But the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax. You doctored this particular test twice, Ms. Ellen's, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Gillespie and Michael Mancini.
Starting point is 00:01:31 My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trapped. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. This is a podcast. All right, Bobby and Eddie, I text Eddie half an hour ago and said, hey, do you want to come to a podcast?
Starting point is 00:02:14 and you ask not what the podcast was about. You have no idea if we're doing a Bobbycast, Bobby Bone Show. I figure we're doing a sports podcast. I don't know. You have no idea. Who cares, dude? And I admire that.
Starting point is 00:02:25 I haven't seen you since before Christmas Day. I know. How you been? I've been good. Happy holidays. I have your Christmas gift. First of all. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:31 Speaking of, like, dude. Hold on. No, I need, no, don't even say anything yet because I got questions. I don't say anything yet. This is 25 whistles presented by Draf King's Sportsbook. Okay, so I have yours first, and then I've got questions. Questions about what? My gift to you?
Starting point is 00:02:46 We just wait. So this is why I got you. Oh, yes! It's one. You always, George had one. Dude, this is amazing. It's not even wrapped. I love it.
Starting point is 00:02:58 Thank you. So our friend George Burge is a really great golfer. And in his bag, he had one of those sticks with a ball on the end of it that's heavy. And you would act like you were better after you used it. I know, I was. Like, as soon as I would warm up with this, like my drives were straight as an arrow. Yeah. So anyway, when I was like, what can I get him?
Starting point is 00:03:16 I got you that. It's called an orange whip. Yeah, I think some people use it for like 50 shades of gray stuff, but I think for golf. So I can take this to the bedroom? You could or you could also just stick it in your butt. It's long enough to just turn it all the way around. Dude, thank you. This is amazing.
Starting point is 00:03:32 I'm serious. Every time I use this, man, I know. I know you say that. I play a lot better. It's called a placebo. But if it works, a working placebo is still something that works. No, this is like the batter's using the weight on the end of the bat. That's not.
Starting point is 00:03:44 It's the same deal. No, it's not. But okay, whatever. Merry Christmas. Thank you, dude. I had it at work the day that we, our last day. It's always awkward for me to give presents to you at work because there are nine or ten of the people. And a few years ago, we just decided we're all going to buy one gift so nobody feels
Starting point is 00:04:00 of pressure to buy everybody something or like a few people. Yeah. So I'm always like, oh, I don't know I give this. And there was never a minute where I could like slide in. So that's why I brought yours to your house. Okay. Can I ask a couple of things? questions. Yeah, what's up, dude? What's up? I don't know what it is. What do you mean? I
Starting point is 00:04:16 opened it and I thought you gave me the wrong gift. No. The only thing that I understood was it was it was a bag and it looks like, do you know the, there have been times when I've been swimming and I've been like, oh my God, do I for some reason have panties on and I didn't realize it? And then you're like, oh, it's the truck, that thing's inside of the shorts. You ever had that experience? Uh-huh. The mesh? Yeah, and you're like, oh my God, why do I have panties on? And you ever thought that? No, I've never thought that. Oh, I have. I really have. I'm like, oh my God. I know what you're saying, but I've never thought that. And so, because it's kind of the meshy stuff. And then I you drove by and like dropped off a present and I hate opening presents in front of people.
Starting point is 00:04:52 And I knew that. So I just gave it to you. You did. You like, do your thing. You like threw it in the house and ran. Go. Like a malltop cocktail. I didn't even want to give you the option. You threw it and took off. And so I opened it. Not the same day, though. Okay. You waited a little bit? Waited a day. Okay. Why don't you wait for Christmas to open all your gifts? We were going to be in Oklahoma. Okay, you don't want to take it out there. Well, I knew it's probably going to be something awesome. I want to experience it now. It is awesome. Okay, I don't know what it is. It's a pickleball bag. That's what that is? Yeah, yeah. It's got like room for two rackets in balls and your like shoes. Why didn't you say that? It doesn't say it on the bag at all. I figured I just, I mean,
Starting point is 00:05:28 I figured it just kind of that you open it, you know what it was. It looks like the mesh and a pair of swim shorts. Let me do you have it with you. It's at the house. Honestly, I never saw it. I ordered it. I liked it. I had no idea what it was. And I thought it was some sort of joke. I didn't know what it was. That makes sense. Did your wife say anything about it? Like, did you ask her, what is this? No, because I was kind of embarrassed. Because I didn't know if it was like a joke or something. Why would it be a joke? I don't know. Now that makes sense. Yeah, dude. Speaking of, I played pickleball over the break with all of our cousins. Tell me. Love it, dude. It's awesome. I'm so good at it now. Doesn't everybody say that? Everyone says that. And I was playing against like 10-year-olds. It's like dodgeball. Everybody
Starting point is 00:06:11 thinks they're good until they play against somebody. A lot. little better. Then all of a sudden you're like, oh, maybe I'm not that good. But yeah, the good thing about pickleball is you can become pretty good, pretty quick. Therefore, it's a game that a lot of people can play. Are you good at your backhand? That's the one I can't, I can't really get right now. You asking me if I'm good at pickleball would be like me asking you if you're good at golf. Because. I am right. I am. No. You would be like, no, I mean, I'm like, sometimes. You'd be like, I'm okay. It depends on playing with. I'm like good enough to, but it's the same, because when I've played elite people,
Starting point is 00:06:42 it's not even close. Now I can crush on some people that are decent athletes. Like, I'm pretty good, but no. You start playing. Even Rector is, he plays a lot.
Starting point is 00:06:55 Ben Rector. And he is a deceivingly good athlete. Because you see him. He's long. He's got long limbs. And he also doesn't look like from pictures he would be that tall. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:07 But then when you meet him, he's taller. But then you're like, okay, he's taller, but he's kind of tall, like too tall. Like, but he's a hand-eye coordination, A-plus, plays golf awesome. He started playing pickleball. And he was like, let's play. And I was like, all right. And he's also very competitive.
Starting point is 00:07:25 So we went and played and we got into a big fight once. I told you that, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you got over it. On the same team. So you all, you were doing doubles and you blamed each other? Yeah. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:07:35 We're both into it. Oh, boy. We got into a huge fight at the end. And then like, I think. He left or I left at the end of it. And then we were working out here at the house the next day, me, you and him, and at the end of the day, because I moved on. I plan when I compete.
Starting point is 00:07:51 I'm probably going to get extremely mad at myself or something because that's just how I play. How quickly do you move on? Like hours? From competing? Yeah, yeah. Oh, 20 minutes after I went home. Okay. From somebody that I feel like has done me a disservice or has been unjust, never.
Starting point is 00:08:10 I still hold grudges from like third grade. Dang. I know. But if it's like competition, because I know how I compete, I'm super competitive. Like a little bit, I'm still mad at you
Starting point is 00:08:20 for whenever you told Caitlin take it easy on. We're playing basketball at the Y? Yeah, it was me and you versus her in a mod. No, but that's competitive. You should have gotten over that 20 minutes after we were done.
Starting point is 00:08:29 I know, but I'm just saying a little bit I remember that, though. We were on the same team. Yeah, and I'm not mad about it, but I remember you telling her, just, hey, just lay off. Just lay off a little bit. I'm tired, yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:38 I'm out of breath. But see, I'm not holding it against you. I just remember it. But Ben and I got to a fight because I was, he was, I'd let him play the net and then I would play back. And a lot of times you get up and you both play the net at first. But he was pretty long and quick. And so I'd say, okay, play the net, I'll play back. Well, whatever.
Starting point is 00:08:56 And then we were getting crushed by Brett Eldridge and another guy. And, you know, we're just irritated. And he's like, well, get up. And I'm like, you go out. And I'm like, you go on the word, do, right? So when he getting a big fight, he leaves. I'm over it. Next day he, over at the house, we work out.
Starting point is 00:09:11 I'm not even thinking about it. Me, you and him, Kevin, we're all working out. And he waits behind and usually, you guys all leave and I sit there for like five minutes and cry. After the workout. Yes. And he stops and goes, hey, man, we good. I remember thinking, did you hurt yourself? Like, what happened?
Starting point is 00:09:30 And I said, yeah? He goes, no, yesterday. I was like, oh, yeah. Oh, that won't be the last time that happens. I told him. You'll fight again. Yeah, I said, we'll fight either against each other, two teams. I said, I just have sometimes a too competitive spirit,
Starting point is 00:09:42 but he's really good, and I thought I was pretty good, until I played him. And we've probably played just ones against each other four or five times. He's probably three and one against me. Jake's good, although I pounded Jake last time. And Brett's good. Brett and I are about equal. Oh, okay, because he's tall.
Starting point is 00:10:01 I figure he's got a lot of reach. And Brett's got a court at his house, but it's winter. But it's kind of hard if you have a court and no one to play with. So you've got to have, like, people to come. But if you're Brett, you get a ball machine and it shoots them at you. Oh, my God. That's what I'm going to get one. That'd be amazing.
Starting point is 00:10:12 When we build this over here, we're building one. We're going to build one. Yeah, with a machine too. That'd be cool. I'll probably an AI partner to play with so I can yell at it and they'll not be mad at me the next day. And then asks, everything cool. You're good AI? We are very good.
Starting point is 00:10:24 We are very good. Thank you, but pickleball is fun. I think you and Caitlin. I think you'd lose it to Caitlin. Okay. She's really good. Well, I'm new. Yeah, but you said you were good.
Starting point is 00:10:36 I'm better than I thought because I played with you, what? I mean, that was six months ago. Yeah. And I was terrible. I didn't even not hit the ball. But it's not that. It's, I made you terrible. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:10:45 You were playing against somebody that was better than a 10-year-old. Right. And that's when I'm terrible, when somebody that's really good, like sets me up for crap. And I'm like, I had no chance. So then me playing a 10-year-old, like I was king of the world. Yeah. King Dingling. Pickle Ball.
Starting point is 00:10:58 Yeah. Welcome to your kingdom. But it is fun, right? Yeah, I did. I loved it. It's fun. Yeah. We'll play more in the spring, I'm sure, a lot.
Starting point is 00:11:06 That's fun. I did not know it was pickleball bag. Well, thank you for the gift. Pickleball bag, you're welcome. Now it makes sense. You should have because it's hanging up in my closet. Just so I remember to ask Eddie, WTF is this. Do you have a pickleball bag?
Starting point is 00:11:19 Yeah, I got a couple. Oh, great. But not like that. Okay. I figure it's cool. It's kind of like it's stylish. It's not like an athletic pickle bag. Like, it's not like one of the pickleball brands or whatever.
Starting point is 00:11:29 That's what I have, and I feel like a douchebag carrying it. Right. Because I'm not good enough to have a, let's just call it. A tennis bag. That's what it looks. It looks like, let's just call something cool name like, Fireshot. I show up with a fire shot bag with a strap over my shoulder that looks built like a racket with all this stuff in it. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:11:47 And then I'm terrible. So yours is just a red bag. This looks like a bag. Thank you. It fits the paddles perfectly. But I did think about that. Like, man, is you going to want like a fire shot? No, I have a fire shot.
Starting point is 00:11:59 Walking in there like Andy Roddy. And I don't even know what the, that's who I got the fire shot from, honestly. Because he had a big deal with pickleball company. It's like you're playing a U.S. Open. And I don't even know a P. It's not even called Fire Shot, but for those that are, don't be Googling Fireshot because that's not it. I just don't know what the brand is.
Starting point is 00:12:14 But yeah. You got a pickleball with a flame behind it? Yes. Exactly what you're talking about. There we are. Okay. So, okay, let's just start because I have no notes either. Oh, dude.
Starting point is 00:12:24 I'm going on memory. Me too. But it's been awesome. Like, football every day. Let's just start with the Cowboys. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:32 But there are two games that we've not been able to talk about. Miami? They paid their taxes. It looked like crap. And then, well, that was double taxes. Because, yeah, that's bad news. They didn't look very good. That was tough.
Starting point is 00:12:45 And that was Christmas, was that Christmas Eve? It's something. Oh, did that ruin my Christmas. No, it didn't. It did. Okay. Until Christmas actually came and then we forgot about it. But then it didn't run your Christmas.
Starting point is 00:12:54 It run leading up to Christmas. It ruined the countdown to Christmas? Yeah, the countdown. Oh, no. You know what I'm talking about? Even the countdowns run? Like the running down the stairs looking for the presents. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:13:02 But when you got to the presents. It's all over. We're good. We're good. So let's move past that one because that stuck because this is whatever. People already heard about that. I'm just curious before I give any of my thoughts on the game, your thoughts on the game. The Lions, Cowboys and Lions.
Starting point is 00:13:15 We've got to stop the run. Like, if we can't stop the Lions run, like, we're in trouble. They do have a pretty good offensive line and two good running backs, to be fair. They do, but I mean, I just feel like that's going to be our Achilles heel. Is that right, Achilles heel? Do you know why they call it that? No. Whenever Achilles.
Starting point is 00:13:32 The God? It was, yeah, so they put them in. in the river because the river made him basically, I'm not paraphrase, made him invincible. And so when his mom dipped him in the river, the only thing she could hold on to did not keep them, not get in the water herself was Achilles. It was the only thing that wasn't wet. So she lifted him and everything about him was invincible. It was a guy except for his heel, and that's where they shot him to kill.
Starting point is 00:13:51 Oh, wow. That's cool. I didn't know that. Yeah. All right. Anyway, go ahead. I'll never forget it. Achilles heel.
Starting point is 00:13:56 I just think that that's it. And that's just kind of hard to kind of watch them. Like their past coverage is good, but all of a sudden that defense can't stop the run. that worries me. You're getting way too granular though about the things that nobody cares about. I know. Because all we care about is was it rigged. There were two, no, two plays at the end. I mean, I don't think it was rigged.
Starting point is 00:14:16 I honest. What about the tripping call where they called it on the lion? Sure. But it was on the Cowboys. Sure. Ender shot. Yeah, I saw that. I mean, I think the refs definitely screwed up. The, the big call though, the big two-point conversion call to me. Eligible tackle?
Starting point is 00:14:31 Yeah, and I haven't really kind of, I want to hear from the Cowboys defense. Like, who did they say was eligible. Like, what did the ref say to them? And then I want to hear from both of those linemen, like, okay, what did you say? What did you not say? Well, they can't really, and I listen to the linemen talk, both of them in the press conference.
Starting point is 00:14:50 You can finish your thing, and I'll tell you what I heard. Well, I just feel like there's so many people to ask because the ref, one alone, like, did he hear him? Did he not hear him? Did he walk away too quick? Or did he ignore the fact that he was registering himself as an eligible receiver? I don't know. We don't know those things.
Starting point is 00:15:07 To me, what I saw was 70, who was running up. Like, it looked like all the attention was like, hey, 70 is the dude. And the ref said 70. Right. Go ahead. And 68, which was the receiver, whatever his name is, was the guy right in front. But ref wasn't even looking at him. So I don't know.
Starting point is 00:15:29 To me, I think that he was trying to, like they were saying on the broadcast, I think the 68 was trying to be like, hey, man, Don't bring any attention to me. Like trying to whisper it or something, 70 and 68 are eligible? I've never heard anybody say he was whispering, by the way. I don't think anybody on the broadcast. I listen to the same game you did, and I heard Joe Buck say nothing. I don't think it was Joe Buck.
Starting point is 00:15:51 Say nothing about a whisper. Somebody said that he was not trying to draw attention to himself. Registering himself as an eligible receiver. Did you go down TikTok and watch all the angles of all the videos of all the people? Of course. Okay. Of course I did. Of course I did.
Starting point is 00:16:05 So I just feel like the ref didn't hear it. So this is what, not only do I think I'm fairly certain. Like I'd bet on this. This is what happened. So part of that play, part of the confusion of that play, which is supposed to be confusing to the team, is the two tackles. Because unless you're familiar,
Starting point is 00:16:26 and I'm going to assume everybody is, but in case you're not, the last person on the line of scrimmage is eligible to catch the ball. if you're a lineman who is a 70 or 60 number and you haven't, you have to check in. Yes. If you tell the ref. Now, a wide receiver can still be outside of you
Starting point is 00:16:44 but he has to be off the line. Correct. Basically in like a slot spot. Just a wide receiver. Just a little behind the line. Yeah. So 70 was never eligible because he was covered up.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Which means there was a wide receiver covering him up on the line. What they try to do on that play? What do you mean? On the side, on the right side of the office got you
Starting point is 00:17:09 he was there but there was also a wide receiver over there covering him up on the line so the only person eligible over there was the wide receiver got it so it doesn't even matter if the dude says 70 is eligible or not what the purpose of that play is not just to get 68
Starting point is 00:17:25 eligible and open and big man touchdown it's to confuse the cowboys whenever two guys go up to the referee so they had seven and 68's the one that checked in, but 70 was standing there. Now, the referee only heard one of them go, hey, I'm eligible. 70 didn't say it.
Starting point is 00:17:45 70 never checked in. 68 did, but there were two dudes, and there's a crowd, and the ref messed up and said the wrong one. He said 70's eligible. And his job after that, though, is to tell the defense, 70 is an eligible receiver, so you need to cover him. He did, but he screwed up, because he wasn't. Which the Cowboys covered 70, but left 68 wide open because he wasn't eligible. But the Cowboys didn't even need to cover up 70 because he was already covered up by the wide receiver.
Starting point is 00:18:12 It was the referee's fault. I also don't think there was a fix in. Right. That play is meant to confuse the Cowboys by two linemen going up. However, it confused the ref. And that can't happen. No, it can't. Like the refs.
Starting point is 00:18:29 And it looked like the ref just ran off. Like, got it. I got it. Good. It's like that server that doesn't write down your order. Like, got it. I got it. And it looked like 68 was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, are you sure?
Starting point is 00:18:42 I said no pistachios. Why did they put them in here? Okay, here we go. I told you didn't write it down? That's a great analogy because that's what happened. Yeah. I don't think there, it was, Cowboys got very, very fortunate twice. That tripping and that play.
Starting point is 00:18:59 I also don't think it was rig. The tripping was a little suspect because that's not even like a met. It's just... A tripping call? On the wrong team. It's bizarre. It's bizarre. If somebody doesn't trip and you call it
Starting point is 00:19:11 or somebody does trip and you don't call it, okay, but on the wrong team... But I think refs, man, in the moment, call things and they're just like, even if you know, it's like, even if you know you're wrong, you're just like, ah, just let it go, just let it go, and then we'll, I don't know. Make it up later?
Starting point is 00:19:26 We'll make it up later. And some of those are non-reviewable. Like that one. Like that one. Like that one. And, but the Lions had four shots. The Lions had four shots at a two-point conversion. But their first shot they had, they made.
Starting point is 00:19:38 Sure. So it's fine. But that second shot was from seven yards back, too. So it's not like it was an even second shot. What do you think about going for the two? Like, I understand that's his thing. Dan Campbell. He's a renegade.
Starting point is 00:19:51 Yeah, let's go for the win. But, bro, like, let's just tie it up. You saw the Cowboys weren't scoring a lot. They weren't really, the offense wasn't clicking the way it normally does. Let's just tie it up and win an overtime. It's hindsight. Always easy to say stuff in hindsight. Especially for me, I love hindsight.
Starting point is 00:20:07 But I did think about that when they went for the first two. That's bizarre. The first one I totally was down with because if I'm on the road, and also that game really didn't matter that much because they had already won the division for the first time in 700 years since Columbus landed. It was the first time. Good for them. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:22 So they were a bit playing with house money, as they say already. And Dan Campbell, I love consistency. Even if you're inconsistent, as long as you're consistently inconsistent, like I like that. I like consistency. That's what he does. So he was standing true to who he is. I like that. When they were back at the seven, I thought he would kick it because I think the percentage probably goes way down more so than who you are. I think it's, it's tough. Fourth and seven, a first and or basically a fourth and seven. Sure. One down. So I probably would have kicked it there, but then the third time I probably would have gone for it again. Because I think more times than not,
Starting point is 00:20:58 and analytics will tell us in about five years once there is a sample size. because we're getting close to a sample size, but the first couple years of the two-point conversion, first three, four years, nobody really did it that much because everybody was scared of it. It's just now starting to be that time where people are not only going for them a little bit more,
Starting point is 00:21:14 the big sample sizes we're getting are the fourth and ones, fourth and two is fourth and three on different parts of the field. Like those are exciting because people go for it now, which is cool. I've always done it in Madden
Starting point is 00:21:22 and I'm pretty good at Madden. So if I tell you anymore. Fourth and seven even, you're like, oh, they're definitely going to try to draw them off sides. And then they go for it. You're like, okay, wow. So I'm glad he went.
Starting point is 00:21:32 I think that he also, since it didn't matter, really, that they lost so much. It also shows his team that he believes in them regardless, which has been kind of his brand. Like, you're my guys, I believe in you. You know, he played for the Lions when they went 0.18, Owen 7, Owen 16. Oh, in 16. He played for the Lions and went 0.16.
Starting point is 00:21:53 Like, he was on that team. Yeah. So I like Dan Campbell. I don't think he's the coach of the year anymore. But that was a weird game. And I bet the Cowboys minus one and a half. And they won by one. You bet them one and a half?
Starting point is 00:22:12 Because was that a lie? Was that a lie bet? Yeah. Okay. Yeah, because I think they... They only won by one and I was pissed. I bet like 300 bucks. Oh, damn.
Starting point is 00:22:19 Sorry, dude. I know. Sorry. I have a future. I have two futures on the Cowboys, though. Yeah. How do you, what do you think about the MVP one? There's no chance.
Starting point is 00:22:27 And there's no chance? No chance. That's just crazy. It's all Lamar. So that's $1,000. It's a thousand bucks that wasted. It's Lamar, $1. It's all Amar.
Starting point is 00:22:33 I mean, he's going off right now. It's all Amar. I think if I were to look at the odds now, he's probably, and I haven't looked because I don't want to be sad. But he's probably plus, I mean, sorry, minus 8,000. What? I don't know. I made that up. Let me look.
Starting point is 00:22:54 That's like for sure, for sure. I made it up. I did make it up, but let me look. Minas 8,000 was Washington Money Line last night. Wait, late in the game? Uh-huh. Okay, stand by. Okay.
Starting point is 00:23:08 So if I go over to Draft Kings, NFL, Futures, MVP, Super Bowl, 49ers are still the favorites. Well,
Starting point is 00:23:22 no, that's, that's crazy to me. Like, look how far everyone else is after the Ravens. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:23:27 I mean, you're, you must have seen this recently. I saw it. I was crazy. But not, the Cowboys,
Starting point is 00:23:31 they got pushed to plus 850. How do you know that, dude? I watched it. You freaking weirdo? Oh, dude. Definitely,
Starting point is 00:23:38 definitely Walmart. Definitely, Cowboys 850 Walmart definitely just I saw that yesterday I'm like that's crazy The odds think that 100% the Super Bowl is going to be The 49ers and the Ravens So 49ers are plus 220 Still the favorite Ravens at plus 300
Starting point is 00:23:50 Now third is the bills a plus 800 That's bizarre Do you know if the bills lose this next week They don't even get in? They're done, they're done zo They don't even get in But that's how much they believe in the bills Cowboys are plus 850
Starting point is 00:24:01 If I were me, which I have I would be loading up Not loading up I'd be middle loading on the Chiefs at plus 950 You believe in the Chiefs. It's not that I believe in them. I believe in them way more than plus 950
Starting point is 00:24:13 because they've done it before. They've been there. Patrick Mahomes has done it multiple times. Like that, even the Eagles who have looked terrible. Yeah, I agree. They're at plus 1,100. That's bizarre, dude.
Starting point is 00:24:24 Like, it's not that I think... After two losses, they go down to 1100. It's not even that I think for sure they're going to win the Super Bowl. And for those, again, who are new to understanding betting odds, and there was the time when we were two, so we're not acting like you're dumb,
Starting point is 00:24:38 you just may be like us, and we were behind. and knowing how the stuff works for a long time. Sometimes we still don't know what we're done. Okay, I agree with that. But plus $1,100 means if you bet $100, you're going to make $11,100. Which means that they think that they have not a good chance to win a Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:24:53 A one and 11 chance. And they're the sixth team. Yeah, that's tough. So I put a little something on the Chiefs and the Eagles, because I feel like those are the two teams with bad enough odds that could actually do it. And you're saying that because you already have the Cowboys future. I have both. What about your saints?
Starting point is 00:25:11 No, that's our saints. Oh, our saints. The whole show did. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I can read you all my feet. Oh, I want to look at the MVP real quick. Sorry. We got sidetrack.
Starting point is 00:25:19 Okay. And then I'll champion futures awards. Okay. MVP. Oh, my God. It's more than? It's worse than I thought it was. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:25:32 Worse than minus 8,000? And to be fair, I did say 9,000, I think. I think you said 8. You said 8. Did I? You said 8. Okay, what's it at? 10?
Starting point is 00:25:40 20,000. Oh my goodness. That's crazy. It's at minus... You suck it, Brock Purdy. It's at minus 20,000. If I were to put 100 bucks... Listen to this.
Starting point is 00:25:49 If I were to put 100 bucks on Lamardo in the MVP right now... That's going to give you what? Five bucks? $100 and $50. That's crazy, dude. You can get 50 cents. Dax's a plus $1,800. Wow.
Starting point is 00:26:05 If I put $1,000 on DAC right now... I think Dax's still playing great. win $19,000. Dak is still playing great. And obviously, Lamar is going off. Purdy's at three, Josh Allen's, four, Christian McAfreys, and five.
Starting point is 00:26:16 But Christian McAfree is I'm going to play next week. Yeah. So that won't happen, plus 4,000. Tyreek plus 7,500. And he got banged up a little bit, huh? He did. He was out for... And it came back, though, right?
Starting point is 00:26:28 Yeah, and then he played. So, okay, how's the tax situation with the Cowboys right now? You got one game left. You're playing Washington next week? Washington, but this is a big game for the Cowboys, because if they, beat Washington, we win the division,
Starting point is 00:26:40 which is just as it stands, that's even if Philly wins. If we lose the Washington and Philly wins, we lose the division and here we are, we're in the same situation. We're probably going to play the Lions again, possibly. You sure? I saw a scenario
Starting point is 00:26:55 generator. I've seen a scenario for every situation. Possible. Listen, because if you're the five, if they win the division, if they finish second. If you're the five, you end up playing the four, which is going to be the winner of the division with the Saints, the Bucks. Well, one of those two. Probably going to be the
Starting point is 00:27:16 bucks. Probably going to be the Bucks. Regardless, we'd be on the road. Yes. However, would you and, yeah, please look that up. I don't know. You can look it up, but I'll ask you a, would you rather pee out of your nose or poop out of your eye? What's he got? Would you rather go on the road and play Tampa with the horrible road record, horrible performances on the road as a Cowboys, or would you rather be at home and play somebody better than that, like the Rams? No, I'd rather go on the road. I mean, I don't believe. Could it play the Rams?
Starting point is 00:27:49 They could play the Rams, yes. Yeah. What did your situation say? Well, the situation I'm looking at is with the win, but with the win, you're looking at three different options with depending on who wins and who loses on the other sides. It's just a lot. Honestly, it's a lot to break down because. Do my thing, though, which would you rather do, go on the road and play a worse team or stay home and play a better team?
Starting point is 00:28:12 I don't believe on the road situation. They've sucked on the road. I understand that. I understand that, but I don't believe in that. Like, there's the, what is at home to make the Cowboys feel better? To you, the road is COVID. Not real. I just feel like it's playoffs time.
Starting point is 00:28:29 Even the road, give me at home, they're going to play their butts off and they're going to win the game. And I'd rather play a worse team, whether on the road or at home. Give me the bucks in Tampa. Okay. So here we go. If I have it right here. If the Cowboys end up winning this week against Washington, they will be the two seed. They will have to play week one, but as the two seed, they will get to play, it looks like the Packers.
Starting point is 00:28:58 Now the Packers still have to do a little way. They have to beat the Bears and the Rams have to beat the Niners to play the Packers. But I'm saying all percentages in right now. Yes. That's the best we got right now. Yeah, which I'll take it. So Cowboys with the Packers coming to Dallas. Yes.
Starting point is 00:29:16 And they've been playing really well. The Packers have been playing well. Yeah, sure. It's that run game again, man. Or the Bucks in Tampa. I'd rather play the Bucks in Tampa. It's a little closer to when it's the Packers and not the Rams. But I hear you.
Starting point is 00:29:35 I'd rather play the Bucks in Tampa. I just think the Packers. are sneaky good. I think Jordan Love is going to be tough because he's got legs. Baker doesn't have legs. I don't know. Baker's awesome, dude. He's awesome.
Starting point is 00:29:45 He makes amazing throws under pressure, but he doesn't have legs. To me, I think the defense can handle that. He doesn't have the legs? No. He plays in a wheelchair? Lieutenant Dan? He float ten and Dan.
Starting point is 00:29:58 Like, dude, yes, give me the bucks any day. Okay. If they were to play the Saints, because the Saints could still win that division. That would be great. Oh, God, dang. I would love that.
Starting point is 00:30:06 That would be a dream scenario. But they'd have to go to New Orleans. That's okay. I'd still rather go to New Orleans. Yeah, dude. Yes. God, that'd be. What is your theory on the home thing, though?
Starting point is 00:30:16 Like, why are they, were they undefeated? I think they were undefeated at home. I think some, what do you mean? They won every game. I'm theory. Anybody that I've talked to, and it's different in all sports, anybody I've talked to that's played or plays professional football, um,
Starting point is 00:30:30 weather is a factor at times. Now, you have to think that the cowboys, they basically play indoors. They play indoors in a dome. That thing opens. Yeah, but they never open it. Right. So I just don't want to get hated out for Sand Dome.
Starting point is 00:30:42 It's not really, we got it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So that's definitely a factor if you're always comfortable and then you have to go somewhere and you're not comfortable. It's why Miami goes and loses a lot. When you're living comfortably, when you're practicing comfortably all the time and you're playing comfortably, when you're not, it does affect a bit. Even if you were born in Minnesota and you move to Florida and you have a job as a banker, but then you go back to Minnesota, during Christmas, you're like, God, dang it's so cold. You're like, no, you're from here.
Starting point is 00:31:10 That's true. Look at us. Yeah, you're like, you're from here. Like, no, but still, when you get down your blood, I think that could be a factor. You're also not sleeping in your own bed. Yeah, it's not a 10-minute drive to the stadium. And then I think also the, depending on the fan base. Because some teams, if you go to L.A., you know, you're going to have more,
Starting point is 00:31:30 probably your team there than theirs. Oh, yeah. You go to Pittsburgh, you know it's about to be terrible town city. Sure, Philly. And it's going to be harder to action. actually play the game. So I do think there is something to it. I would say 22% change. Nothing crazy because if you're really good, you're just a better team. But I don't know what, like I don't know what's the Cowboys. Like I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:31:54 But I do think there is a bit of a difference. The betting lines in the NFL have not changed as drastically as they have in the past. It used to be three, it'd just be three points. Sure. Like regardless. In college it still is pretty much that. In the NFL, it's like one, one and a half now. So that to me is interesting. And some players, like Peyton Manning, he was not good playing outdoor cold games. You have to think about when...
Starting point is 00:32:24 Even in Denver? You'd have to go and think about whenever he would play... Well, he's living there at that time. So again, his blood's getting normal. I don't know if you can adapt that quickly. When he was with the Colts, it was tough for him to go and that he'd lose in New England.
Starting point is 00:32:38 That's why Brady won all the freaking Super Bowls. Drew Brees, another dome quarterback that struggled. Luckily, their Super Bowl was in Miami when he won that one. So I'm basically just saying a lot of words, but I think that's if you're always comfortable in one situation and you're put into another, even if it doesn't feel like it's that big of a difference, if it's fans, if it's temperature, I think that is a factor.
Starting point is 00:33:03 Not a lot, but enough to matter if it gets down to the point where something that small could have. actually tip to scale. The Cowboys can win the Super Bowl. I still think anybody can win the Super Bowl. Yes, the Cowboys can win the Super Bowl right now. I don't see, I don't see the Ravens crack five or six times this season. Just break. Yeah, but you've seen the Cowboys like be worse than break. Yeah, they've been pretty bad. Yeah, but you've seen the Ravens beat the 49ers. What did the Cowboys do against them? I've seen the, I've seen the 49ers crack. No, no, hold on, no. You saw the, I'm just asking you one-on-one. Go ahead. You saw the Ravens, I believe, go into San Francisco.
Starting point is 00:33:40 just dominate. Dude, terrible. Just dominate. So, you saw the Cowboys play San Francisco. And just fall apart. Yeah. Does that affect anything? Yeah, but I mean, you learn from those things.
Starting point is 00:33:51 You learn from those games. You learn how to shift things and change plays and change different ways to defend the team. When the Ravens were losing, they didn't learn anything from those? Hey, man, like, what do you want from me? You just love the Cowboys. I just need you to say you love the Cowboys more than you can think rationally. Do you really think that right now there are only two teams that can win the Super Bowl?
Starting point is 00:34:10 No, I think they're... Like, you still think the Chiefs. The Chiefs look like crap, dude. But the Chiefs have a history of... So what? So what? It's the same people that have done it before. Who?
Starting point is 00:34:21 Andy Reed. And? Patrick Mahomes. And Travis Kelsey. That's it. Those three dudes, that's it. Pacheco, we didn't know what he's doing. Pacheco won it for him last year.
Starting point is 00:34:30 Oh, that's right. I forgot about him. Okay. Forgot about him. Yeah, good point. Good point. 25 whistles presented by Draft King's Sportsbook, an official sports betting partner of the NFL, download the Draft King's app and use the code Bobby Sports to get in on the action.

But a parlay, you make multiple bets. And if they all win, you win. If one of them loses, you lose, but you get better odds if you do that. Right.

Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of The Girlfriends, Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck.
Starting point is 00:37:25 I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the Girlfriends. Trust me, babe.
Starting point is 00:37:43 On the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Okay, then here are the four teams I think can win the Super Bowl. I think... The 49ers. I'm going to put them in order. Okay. The 49ers. Wow, you're going to put them over the Ravens.
Starting point is 00:38:08 The Chiefs. Okay. The Eagles. Wow, the Ravens still haven't been named. And the Ravens. The Eagles over the Cowboys. Yeah. But close.
Starting point is 00:38:17 And I would put the Cowboys in that next line of, hey, if they did it, I know I didn't say they could, but I'm not surprised because they were good and Dak went on quite the run. C.D. Lamb is all they have offensively. How about those hands? Well, it's not his hands. How about those hands? His legs are really good. He's so fast.
Starting point is 00:38:37 He had a 200-yard receiving. Amazing. But see, look, you got to give Dak credit for that. Like, dude, he was about to get sacked in the end zone. Oh, yeah, that's a great play. And C.D. Lamb went, I think his over-under that day for that game was 1.25. Absolutely. I think he hit that in the first, like, five minutes of the game. It was awesome. I except I was playing C.L.L.m. in the fantasy football championship, and he put up 40 that night.
Starting point is 00:38:59 Did you win? You won the whole thing? Congrats, man. Thank you. You deserve that. Because I had Lamar. Had Lamar Jackson from Baltimore. That's crazy. I was going to read. So, wait, who are the teams you think I win the Super Bowl? Then I'm reading my futures, and then we're going to play a commercial, and then we're going to finish up with some other stuff. Okay. I think that the... The Ravens can win the Super Bowl. I think that the Niners can win the Super Bowl. I think that the Cowboys can win the Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:39:22 Obviously. You probably want to start with that one. You just didn't. No. No. You weren't a Cowboys hat right now. I know. But I got to be honest.
Starting point is 00:39:28 I got to be like realistic here. Realistic here, if they were to play today, the Niners look like the huge favorite. And then I would put the Ravens. And then I would put the Cowboys. You already put the Cowboys in there? Well, I'm just doing. I'm rehashing my three. So start at one again.
Starting point is 00:39:42 I'm redoing it. I'm doing Niners at one. Ravens at two. Cowboys at three. and then give me at four. How do you not put the chiefs in there? Because they're terrible. Yeah, okay.
Starting point is 00:39:52 And Mahomes is pissing everyone off. His little baby tantrums going on at the end of the game is pissing the whole team off. I love him. Like stop, stop being a baby, be a leader, stop making excuses, go win.
Starting point is 00:40:05 He's made so few and so less excuses than I, whatever, you would have. His receivers have dropped balls and cost him games, and he gets on the podium and goes, I've got to do better. podium. But what's he saying in the locker room? Who cares? What's he saying on the sideline? We don't know. But we can see it. We can see him acting like a child. I told Ben
Starting point is 00:40:24 Rector, hey man, you cover the net about. Yes. That was me. That's childish. And what do he say the next day? Hey man, are we cool? The whole team, you think he's going to go to the whole team and check, hey man, are we cool? No. So, so 90% of that team is like, oh, he's pisses. He is the Super Bowl champion, multi- MVP. Anyway, you're not picking the Chiefs. I'm not picking the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl. Not this. You don't think they can win it. They cannot win it. Not this year.
Starting point is 00:40:49 No. So those? Those are my four. I put the Eagles in there. They've been playing terrible. I know. But I still think they can do it. I believe in Siriani.
Starting point is 00:40:57 You believe in Siriani more than Andy Reed? Yeah. Who actually beat Siriani has tools. By the way, is Devante Smith out? A mild ankle sprain is what I read. So he'll be okay. That's what I read. As long as it's mild salsa.
Starting point is 00:41:13 We have no notes in front of us. so I'm pretty sure I'm pretty sure it's a mild because if it was a medium we'd be in trouble yeah but they're thinking about wrestling their players anyway sure why not
Starting point is 00:41:24 because they're like we don't win the division or not if we don't have people healthy we can't because they could win and still not win the division but they need the cowboys to win to beat the
Starting point is 00:41:36 the commanders they still need that the commanders hold on the Philly they're tied right now but with with Dallas having the tiebreaker.
Starting point is 00:41:46 Yes. But the commanders don't matter. Right. So if Philly wins and Dallas loses, Philly takes that division. Yeah. My point is, Philly's in regardless.
Starting point is 00:41:53 In the playoffs. Yeah. And I think what they're saying, and what they're thinking to themselves is, if we hurt our players, even by winning the division, we're going to be terrible because we have to play next week.
Starting point is 00:42:03 And it goes back to the scenario. Maybe Sereana's thinking, would we'd rather go and play Tampa in Tampa? Or have Green Bay come to us. And that's so close anyway. I'm sure the owner's not. thinking that because the owner wants the money sure but same time the owner probably wants everybody to be healthy so they can try to win a super ball yeah dude it's it's like watch some of these bowl
Starting point is 00:42:22 games and you know like did you watch bowl games by the way yeah some of them like they got to stop with the bowl games i mean i did a whole podcast about this the other day okay i can i can go ahead i want you to say what you're going to say in a minute but i yes well i just feel like it's such a money grab for for for the college like it's great it's a money grab it's all about sponsorships and all that but it's hard for us it's hard to bet it Like, I don't know who's playing. Now we're at the root. I never know who's playing.
Starting point is 00:42:48 I never know who's not going to play. I didn't bet many bowl games. It's so hard to even watch it. It's like preseason football to me. Yes. That's what it feels like. It's hard to bet it. It's hard to watch it.
Starting point is 00:42:58 And I think, like, you see all these starters that aren't dressed for the game and they're just standing on the sideline, just having fun, having a blast. They don't even want to be there. Nobody wants to be there. Yeah, the ball things. It'll fix itself, though. My whole theory slash what I'm looking for. to what I enjoy are the bowl games and NIL and the portal because it has got to get so bad
Starting point is 00:43:20 before it gets better because if it just stays medium bad, it's never going to change. It's like anything else. You really need it to be just so effed up that they're like, we've got to change it. Because if it's not, nothing's going to change it. We're going to stay in this perpetual loop of, ah, the bowl games suck. It would have been like the Pro Bowl. You ever try to bet the Pro Bowl? Yeah, it's impossible.
Starting point is 00:43:39 It's impossible. It's impossible. It's impossible. All-Star Games, impossible. So I love that Georgia beat Florida State 7,000. 101. I know, I felt like an idiot. Because that game just shows that nothing matters.
Starting point is 00:43:50 They have to fix it so that it matters a little bit. And there were a few of those. Oregon and Liberty. Liberty did try. Sure. Undefeated Liberty. Yeah, and Bo Necks played. But, okay, here are my futures and we'll do this.
Starting point is 00:44:04 So every time I make a big win, I'll throw a little scitchy scratch on a future. Okay. Just a little some of some. Yeah. So some of my future bets are bigger than others. and some are just me scritzy scratching just in case to make up. Are these all NFL?
Starting point is 00:44:17 Yeah. Okay. Yeah, because I mean, I wouldn't read my Arkansas basketball national championship one. I mean, who cares? That one's there. But I have, okay, here we go. These are my scritzy scratches. I have the Eagles, which I bet this week because they lost and those odds plummet.
Starting point is 00:44:32 Yeah. So I have $100,000 to win a thousand. Yeah, it's good. You ready for this one? Come on. I like this one. Come on. Because the odds were so bad, and this could be that team.
Starting point is 00:44:44 that rides in on the horse? Cleveland? It's Cleveland? Is it Flacco Flacco Flame? I put a little scroo scratch 100 bucks on Cleveland to win $3,600. Let's go!
Starting point is 00:44:57 Their defense is awesome. Flacco's been there before. Amari Cooper playing out of his mind because somebody to get the ball to him. So do I think they're on the Super Bowl? No. But did that be awesome? But was it worth it to about 100
Starting point is 00:45:08 to win $3,600? Yeah. Absolutely. I might do that too right now. So I scoo-scritchie scratch that one. I don't know what the odds are now. but after this podcast they're going to change um i'd be December 10th i bet Kansas city
Starting point is 00:45:21 well i just put a small scroo scratch on that 50 bucks to win 450 okay um i bet the day before that on the chiefs a little scratch but the odds were a little better because they i guess they lost after this hey doubled down on them well i just bet more once i lost because i'm like i still believe in them um i bet 200 i went 1600 on the chiefs that's pretty good scroogey scratch really good yeah um have another chiefs one $100 to $800. Buffalo Bills.
Starting point is 00:45:47 Now, this is when they were losers. Yeah, that's good. I bet $100 to win $1,300. Wow. That's really good. See, I like that one better than your chiefs, gritty, scratchies. But whatever.
Starting point is 00:46:03 I bet that price got a thousand bucks to win the MVP. That's terrible. Sorry about that. I have another chief's one from earlier in the year. You have three chiefs vets? I have like four. I have $500 to $1,000 to $1,000. $600.
Starting point is 00:46:14 Oh my goodness. I have a little scratch on the Jacksonville Jaguars, $50. Because some of these, again, if I win a couple grand, I'll throw $50 out of it, because I'm going to lose that anyway in some stupid bet. I get $50 to win $800 on Jacksonville to Alabama. I was pretty proud of my Alabama because when they were like, they're not getting in, they're seventh. I bet $100 bucks on them.
Starting point is 00:46:38 That was to win the whole thing. Yeah. And so I lost that yesterday, though. But $100,000, $20,000. That was my big loss yesterday. college basketball, I bet 50 bucks on Yukon with the national championship for 750. That still looks okay. I have...
Starting point is 00:46:52 Although they lost at someone random recently. They all do. I have Arkansas won in the NCAA tournament. $100 to pay basically $3,000. I just do that because if they don't and I didn't make that bet, I'm going to hate myself. I have the Eagles back in June of last year. I bet $350. So I only made a couple bets that were like...
Starting point is 00:47:14 hundreds of bucks. I have the Eagles, $350 to win the Super Bowl, over $3,000. Wow, that'd be nice. And then I have the Ravens, I bet $250 to win $37.5. That was early.
Starting point is 00:47:27 Oh, good for you. And I have the Cowboys. Oh, this is a big one. I don't remember betting this one. Uh-oh. Sleepwalking? I bet it on June 30th, 20, 23 at 7 p.m.
Starting point is 00:47:40 What was going on that day? Had it even started yet? the season? June 30th in the summer? No, it hasn't. It hasn't yet. What the hell? Man, you were feeling the Cowboys.
Starting point is 00:47:51 I love it. You must have been watching a 30 for 30 or something. The train robbery. Huh. I bet $500. Let's go. To win $5,500. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:48:08 See, dude, that's, I mean, right there alone, you should be won in the Cowboys. I do. I want the Cowboys to win. It's going to happen. And then I have the Saints, which all the show has the Saints. We all put 50 bucks in. 12 of us, 600 bucks,
Starting point is 00:48:20 and if the Saints get in, which they have to win this next week. I think that, who are they playing? I think I remember thinking like, okay, Saints, maybe Panthers? Yeah. But Bucks have to lose two, I think.
Starting point is 00:48:33 I'm not sure the Saints are playing. Maybe Panthers. I'll tell you. But if the Saints win, it's 600 bucks to win 18,600. Oh my goodness. They're playing the Falcons. Is that for a playoff spot?
Starting point is 00:48:45 No, because the Bucks can still win. Who are the Bucks playing? The Panthers. That's what I was thinking about. They're loving life right now. That's what I was thinking about. So, okay. Let us do this commercial here.
Starting point is 00:49:01 Okay, so let's do the bowl games, the two bowl games. Okay, last night. Yeah. The Alabama-Michigan game was an awesome game. It's so good. I'm going to remove the fact that I lost money on it. Although I did win the first to score.
Starting point is 00:49:17 I put that in our group thread. Oh, you did? And you picked who scored for Alabama? Yeah, nice. I thought Alabama would win the game I really did. Me too. And I thought they would win it mostly all the way through the game, even down at half. Give it up to Michigan, though.
Starting point is 00:49:30 Yeah, man, they kept going. And they didn't quit. And Harbaugh went forward on that fourth down. Baller. Nearish midfield, that was the game. Baller. If he didn't get it, yeah, Harball's got freaking nuts like me. Just like you. And that quorum kid, dude. Yeah, I play quorum. Oh my gosh, he can run.
Starting point is 00:49:47 He is awesome. He's awesome. Yeah. And I think that's why they could win the whole thing. So, okay. That game was freaking great. The very end. Oh, I got a question for you. I got a question for you. So when they go to overtime and they get the coin toss and Alabama wins the toss,
Starting point is 00:50:07 everyone's acting like, oh, they're going to play defense. They did. Right, and they did. But even before then, the announcer is like, obviously they're going to pick defense. Why would you obviously pick defense? Just Sabin plays defense first. As a matter of fact, he always, when they win the toss, you may have noticed at the first of the game, they deferred,
Starting point is 00:50:26 which means they're going to get the ball at half. Sure. And I understand that. That's just him. That's just Saban wanting to play defense. Generally, the rule has been play defense and see if you can stop them and score, but more in the past two or three years,
Starting point is 00:50:40 that's not been the case, where the new strategy is, let's score first and then put the pressure on them. But Saban, got a burp. Historically has just been a, I mean, he's a defensive coach anyway. He wants to play defense first. That's why they were saying that.
Starting point is 00:50:55 Mostly Sabin related more than anything else. Not just a general rule in overtime. You want to play defense because I thought that was strange. It used to be a generalish rule, but now more people are doing the opposite. But I think that, because they even said it at the beginning on the coin flip, whenever Alabama won.
Starting point is 00:51:11 And they deferred. Maybe that's kind of what I was referring to. So then went to overtime, and I still thought, going into that last play, that Alabama was going to pull it out. And they didn't. And I don't like Michigan. I think it's hilarious.
Starting point is 00:51:24 They've kept winning. I said it from the beginning. Like, I don't like Michigan, but I was rooting for them to get the national championship game. That's before I bet on Alabama, honestly. But it's, we've forgotten so much about that scandal because the Florida State stuff. Sure. Now, remember, Michigan cheated. They did cheat.
Starting point is 00:51:41 But I don't think anyone cares. They don't now because it got turned up. But even if you bring it up, even if you bring it up to people that didn't know about it, like, like, I was there. I was with family. And a lot of the wives, they didn't know anything about that. So we kind of brushed them up and they're like, don't they all do that? And these are like people that don't watch sports saying, don't they all do that? But that's who it is.
Starting point is 00:52:02 People who don't watch sports. Who cares about them anyway? Screw them. Because they didn't know about it anyway. But I'm saying in the whole scheme of the big picture, like really, was it that big of a deal? It wasn't that big of a deal. It's not a big deal, but it's a big deal that got caught because they're stupid. Right.
Starting point is 00:52:17 That was dumb. I'm like, I'm surprised every team isn't. doing it. They may be. They are doing it. But I'm surprised, but I'm just surprised no, that everybody else isn't getting caught then. That's, that's, that's all I cared about. If you're so dumb to get caught, you should be penalized. I don't care they were doing it. You could have somebody at every game doing that. I mean, I was doing it. What's the Indiana Pacers sign doing back there? Oh, I saw it. I saw when they flashed the Indiana Pacer sign. Then when Texas flashed the Indiana Pacer sign, what did that mean? Oh, that's a run. I'll remember that now. I mean, what's the, no, but that's not how that works.
Starting point is 00:52:46 Oh, it's not? Well, because they could have four different people calling, signs and they could actually switch or there could be an indicator. They could switch the person who's calling the signs every quarter or even downs or odd downs. And they're just trying to break the code, right? That's what they were trying to do. Yeah, but you won't see a Pacers and no, it's that easy. I saw the Pacer sign though. Maybe you were right. Maybe you're right. They cheated and got caught and that's stupid. And you should be penalized if you get caught. That's it. And they got penalized. Three games. Coach, sorry. take the championship away once it's over if they win it no chance no chance they're going to do that so
Starting point is 00:53:26 i was running from michigan to get to the championship game but not over alabama that sucks uh but they played awesome they just did i mean it was they they hung Alabama hit them hard right in the mouth early oh yeah i thought it was going to be a 38 36 type game it wasn't uh michigan played really well uh jim harball had balls like mine went forward up just like yours and it was a good game and then so we go to the texas and washington game and i bet a thousand bucks on the Washington money line. You're making up. I didn't lose that, though.
Starting point is 00:53:58 I bet a hundred bucks on Alabama. Yeah, but to you, I think you and I are similar to this. Even if it was $100, like, for me, when I lose a dollar bet, I'm pissed. Oh, I'm not pissed. And the next game, I'm going to double down or triple down. I can't do that. I'm not going to chase unless it's, like, fun. Okay.
Starting point is 00:54:16 Unless I'm, like, publicly chasing, and I'm going to get put in the town square to be made fun of or to be celebrated. But don't you see two, three games left? Like, don't you look at like, oh my gosh, I got one game left tonight. That's it. Like, let's... Oh, that's how I look at it. And then, and then we got one more championship game. That's all we got. I got a lot of college basketball, buddy. Well, that too.
Starting point is 00:54:34 There's a lot. If I was just looking for that, now when college basketball ends, I'll probably be trying to fit in some bets. Because then I'm done for a while. You got golf. You got golf. I don't bet golf. Oh, you're going to start betting golf. I bet it a little bit, and it's just so hard to win. Yeah, but dude, the payoff is so good when you pick that one golfer. I did hit an eight-game parlay
Starting point is 00:54:53 You did? On what? Basketball? I sent it to you guys. Oh, I didn't see it. Dude, I had bad service for most of the trip. Let me finish this. Washington, Texas, I bet the Washington money line. I talked to, I heard from John Middilkoff.
Starting point is 00:55:09 I guess I didn't talk to him. So what do you mean you heard from him? I heard him on a podcast. It's like, what did he call you? I text with him a bit. I'm going to start saying that. No, at first I thought. I saw it on Twitter.
Starting point is 00:55:20 heard from him at first i thought i talked to him that's how that's how podcasts are in my head oh my god he was speaking to you i think i'm having a conversation with these people you're losing it he was really bullish on de boer or their coach no who was like 90% and all the national championships he's won there uh he was just like i just feel like with this much time he they're gonna beat texas and he's like i'm placing the biggest bet i've ever placed blah blah not i guess not to me no no to everyone But I wonder if he's around. I'll text him and see if he talk on the phone here. So I went and I bet it.
Starting point is 00:55:57 You around for five minutes to talk on this pod. I just put you on speaker, if not NBD talking about you now. So I bet it and... You did Money Line. Money Line. Yeah. Which they were a four-point dog.
Starting point is 00:56:26 You bet them and points. I bet the dog, but I bet the dog before I left to, I left to Texas, which was... Oh, you bet it a while ago. Yeah, because I mean... You can't bet in Texas. And I figured I was gonna be... You're gonna bed in Texas. You better have a VPN on.
Starting point is 00:56:39 But VPN's don't work. I can tell you they don't work. And you shouldn't do that anyway. They don't work, so don't do it. Yeah, so I bet those early. So I don't know. I only got them at like two, I think. Dude, the line that changed...
Starting point is 00:56:50 Well, I thought you got him at four. Maybe I did. I don't know. I don't remember. I don't remember. I mean, even if they're an underdog, I just want them to win anyway, which I did end up betting the live money line. But, dude, so we all won. We all won on that one, except I won $10.
Starting point is 00:57:05 You got a Washington plus four. There we go. Washington plus four. You made the bet on December 22nd before you left. And you made, you bet 10 and you won... Nine bucks? Mm-hmm. It's a great day.
Starting point is 00:57:19 Sure did. It's great. Yeah, but then I did spend the bank on the money line because they were up, I think, by, gosh, do what I bet? I think they were up by 10 or 11. Did I post my bet slip in here with you guys? You did. You sent on the same. Oh, so I bet Washington before the game plus 142.
Starting point is 00:57:40 John Middukoff told me, especially just me, all alone, just me. I want, just you. I bet a thousand bucks and I won $2,420. That's awesome. Were you puckered at the end there a little bit? Yeah. Yeah, I was too. because, and I don't even know that it's that Washington made any sort of terrible, bad strategic decision.
Starting point is 00:57:55 They're running the ball. Their player gets hurt. Sure. You can run the rest of the clock out. This happens all the time. Yes. And you could see him trying to fight to get off the field real quick. For a minute. He was like, and then he just couldn't do it and he stopped. And they had to carry him. But I did see him after the game in just a boot, no crutches. I saw him going out from the cart, kind of celebrating the win. Oh, you did?
Starting point is 00:58:17 Yeah. He was going to the tunnel like just. celebrated. And then Texas just chunked. Yeah. Chunk, chunk, chunk, nail. But the thing about Washington, what I did admire was they weren't playing a prevent defense. A lot of times you get got because you play a pre-event just to make sure they don't
Starting point is 00:58:31 score and all of a sudden. But they had their corners up playing, I won't say press, and at times they were given a little cushion, but it was not a straight pre-vent defense. But I was puckered a little bit. I was happy to see Washington win. I think Washington could be Michigan. You do? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:47 See, I don't think Washington can stop. that run because that's kind of what they were getting beat. And I think Texas, Texas lost their running back. So these are two guys, I think two freshmen were running the ball against Washington. And if they could move the ball like that with two freshmen or two younger guys, not their stud, I think they're going to have a problem with Blake Quorum. I think you're exactly right on if there is a problem. That's it because they're not as strong inside as they'll need to be to stop that Michigan
Starting point is 00:59:18 offensive line and run. And Corm's awesome. He set the record for touchdowns all time in Michigan, which is cool. But yeah, those games were good. Two great games, back to back. Because both teams cared. I know. That's what happens when teams care.
Starting point is 00:59:33 You get a good freaking game. Oh, man. But, dude, what's crazy, I was going to talk to you about the Florida State game is, I bet that on the 22nd, too, at the airport before I left. And that line changed. I got it at plus 14. Florida State plus 14, and it was plus 21. started the game.
Starting point is 00:59:51 Like, I'd never seen a line change like that. Because nobody was playing, yeah, right? Like, eventually more and more people weren't playing. Yeah. But then obviously, it didn't matter because they got peep by 60 points. Here, oh, God, I felt bad for them. Yeah. And you can't.
Starting point is 01:00:05 Because you know they wanted it so bad. Well, and also all the people are going, see, we told you the bowl community, what sucks is they were playing fourth stringers. And so it isn't actually reflective of if they would have done. Right. I still don't think it would have. mattered. I still think they would have lost and it had been pretty ugly. However, it sucks for Florida State now fans. Because even though everybody knows it was bull crap, they lost so bad because a lot of players, Florida State, if they say anything, they're like, dude, dude, you lost 60s or did?
Starting point is 01:00:32 They have no ground to walk on. I know it's nothing. But they deserve a little ground to walk on. For the season. Florida State... But as far as getting in the playoffs, no, you can't say anything about it. That game just solidified any argument. That game solidified for idiots. But everybody's an idiot. That's my point. Everyone before it happens is an idiot. Everyone's an, yes, because people, if someone argues, let's say I'm a Florida State fan. And I'm like, no man, we got screwed. Like we went undefeated in a Power 5 conference. Yeah, we lost our starting quarterback, but our second string guy, four-star kid,
Starting point is 01:01:03 we beat Louisville. Yeah, he won the conference, the conference champ. Yes, it's like we should have been there. What would you say? I was with them. I'd say yes. You should be there. No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:01:15 I was with them. No, today. Oh, today. you're an idiot. Why? Because look what happened. What? They lost by 60 points. No, no, but we, our whole team was fourth stringers. It was like the kid. We had like 27 scholarships on the whole team. Did they
Starting point is 01:01:28 though? Because like, I would think the Florida State would put all their efforts to win that game just to shut everyone up. But they don't have enough scholarship players. They don't have to So even if you're not a scholarship player. Even if Westlake high school put all their efforts in to beat Georgia, all their efforts. They can't beat them. They ain't going to do it. I get it. My big losses were
Starting point is 01:01:46 the Alabama future kicked me in the nads I did have an Alabama $100 loss spread first half 0.05 I thought they'd be in the lead there they didn't let's see I bet one of your stupid bets
Starting point is 01:02:01 well my stupid bet field goal attempt on the seventh Miami Dolphins drive result live betting yeah dude that I was just like let me just see what's up Eddie loves doing these punts though that's what I bet a punt
Starting point is 01:02:11 I bet a punt I bet 45 could you always say punt I bet punt I wasn't watching the game dude I just pulled it up I was like I'm going to bet punt without watching it. And I lost that one. Yeah, those are fun. Those are fun until you're like,
Starting point is 01:02:21 you're just like, how am I losing five punts in a row? I don't understand it. The Dallas Cowboys, minus one and a half, live game. Lost that by one point. I bet $315 bucks.

Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
Starting point is 01:05:23 And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that, trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends, Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care.

Starting point is 01:06:12 Yeah, the Cowboys one was tough. I enjoyed the game. I mean, I didn't think it was going to be that close. So watching the game going up to the game, like, you know, leading up to the game, I thought, man, this is no big deal. It's going to be fun. Families are going to be fun.
Starting point is 01:06:27 We're going to be watching the Cowboys beat Detroit. It's going to be great. And then it was just stressful the entire game. It was stressful the entire game. And then in the end, I'm like, oh, my gosh, are we going to win this stupid game or not? Oh, I'm going to find you that parlay I hit just so I can show you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:42 I can probably pull it up too. I have it. Yeah. Oh, yeah, I did send it in a thread here. But I was pretty happy with it because I don't bet a lot of your parlayes, which is you just pick every team in the whole world. Oh, you know what I bet, too? I have one going right now.
Starting point is 01:06:55 That I don't often win. I don't ever bet because I don't win them if I do. I bet CD Lamb first touchdown score. Nice. Which he was. I bet $24, one $156. That's what I'm talking about, dude. I never do those.
Starting point is 01:07:06 Because it's so hard. Like, out of every player on the field, like he's going to be the first touchdown score. I never do those. Those are the craziest stupid bets ever. That's awesome. That's all. What I've been doing a lot is NBA.
Starting point is 01:07:19 I hit Joe Flacco over passing yards for 100, I bet 151, 280. Nice. I bet five. I had a five game parley. I didn't even know. Joe Flacco passing yards. Joe Flacco passing touchdowns over 1.5. Over 48 and a half David, Newoku, receiving yards,
Starting point is 01:07:37 and Cleveland around the money line. Okay. And then over 57. That's same game parlay. Amari Cooper. What? Same game parlay? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:46 That's awesome, dude. I just want to find this one out because I don't, I'm not going to do all my bets. Okay, here we go, eight picks. Eight picks on college basketball? I bet $33 on eight picks. I had Nevada. money line over TCU and they won 8875. Wow. I had SMU money line over Murray State,
Starting point is 01:08:05 they won 9265. What a random game. I know. I had South Carolina, I took a line here, minus 14 and a half because I just looked to see if Elon was any good and South Carolina is actually playing really well and they won 70 to 43. I took a Baylor money line minus 40 and a half versus Mississippi Valley and they won. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I took... Bro, I just clicked this one, I'll be honest with you, because I do a couple of those clicks.
Starting point is 01:08:34 High Point beating Kinesis. Who? Exactly. It sounds like something I do with the Dennis. Kenesaw. No, Kinesis. Who are these teams? Could you watch this game at all?
Starting point is 01:08:44 Dude, I don't even know. ESPN Plus? I think it was just played in the Metaverse. It's like when I used to bet. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Overseas. St. Bonaventure beating Binghamton. I got that one.
Starting point is 01:08:54 Oh, my goodness. Notre Dame beating Marist Money Line got that one. Okay, good, because Notre Dame is terrible. And the one, I picked Kansas minus 15, and they played Yale. And I watched that game. And Yale scored to make it a 15-point game at the end. Wow.
Starting point is 01:09:09 That one got rubbed. So it just didn't count either way. So it was six games? Seven. So it was eight to begin with that with the tide of the seven. Nice. I bet $33 won $436. That's amazing.
Starting point is 01:09:21 It was fun. Dude, those are the best. That's fun. Yeah, but it never happened. No, and $33 bucks is like, that's literally, Like, all right, throwing this money away. Yeah. Good job, dude.
Starting point is 01:09:31 That's awesome. I'll do a couple other things real quick, and then we'll wrap it up. Because I, let's see here. When the last episode that I did, when I was about myself, I was talking about the Pistons, 28 game losing streak. Yeah. It's over now. They won a game.
Starting point is 01:09:45 But they've lost every game since they won that game. But then I went and started talking about the best streaks, most entertaining streaks ever. Okay. Like winning streaks? It doesn't just matter if. they're winning. And I was talking about squash. Squash. Yeah, what do you think squash is? Squash. Because I, I mean, I just thought, I'm like, go ahead. I don't know what that is. I'm not an
Starting point is 01:10:08 expert in squash either. Don't worry. I don't know what you're talking about. So you look it up on your phone because I never did. I just assume it's like, what do I put in there? Because it's just going to give me the vegetable, right? We'll do squash sport. Okay, that'll help. Squash sports. or just sport. Is it like racquetball? Oh, okay. It's a racket sport played by two players
Starting point is 01:10:30 or four players for doubles in a four-walled court with a small hollow rubber ball. So racquetball. It's what I thought, basically racquetball. Yeah. This guy named
Starting point is 01:10:40 John Gahir Khan won 555 matches in a row. Baller. It is the longest sporting win streak of all time in any sport. How did you find that? I think I googled
Starting point is 01:10:50 what's the longest winning streak in all time. And Homeboy came out? Yeah. That's awesome. He had won the first championship, because apparently I don't even know where he lives. Type in jaw as in jaw rule.
Starting point is 01:11:06 H-A-N-G-A-R. Jaw-Hang-I-R, but hangar with an I-R, that's what's first name. Jaw-hanger with an I. Khan, like Genghis. And see where he's from. Khan. Got it.
Starting point is 01:11:21 He's Pakistani. Okay, so it must be huge in the Middle East. Okay. Because I thought... There's your dude right there. That's an athlete. Looks like an athlete. Looks like me.
Starting point is 01:11:33 He's just older. Yes. He's older. But I thought, I wish I had an American sport to compare it to because I don't know enough about it. So another one. Deliselle High School. Okay.
Starting point is 01:11:45 They held the national record high school of 151 game winning straight high school football. Wow. They won every game from 92 to 2004. That's crazy. Well, they must be in a really small, like, No. Division? Mm-mm.
Starting point is 01:11:57 Wow. But they won state championships, too. So even if you're in a small division, that means you have a small school. Yeah, but like, well, look it up. But what's the,
Starting point is 01:12:05 like how competitive was Mountain Pine? Like you had to be, what, five schools? Our conference was eight or nine, but even if we won that, that's not the state championship. Then we have to go and play Risen. Oh, then you lose.
Starting point is 01:12:15 Yeah. Like, we went to the playoffs and just got run sometimes. That's pretty amazing. By the private schools. Sure. Who can bring anyone in? Who can bring anyone in, yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:24 Look up. Dela Salle High School As in Della Hoya D-E space law L-A Della Sal S-A-L-L-E High School Della Sal football
Starting point is 01:12:36 Here you go What conference are they in? They're in Concord, California Uh-huh They are, let's see Max Preps What we got here? Where's their conference?
Starting point is 01:12:51 I guess you could just decide What size is Dela Like what I'm trying to see What conference there is? How big is it? I mean, what classification? I could probably do that.
Starting point is 01:13:09 Here, here, here, I got it. What classification is Del Salle? I can't, I don't know. I spelled, how do you spelled it? It's D-E-E-L-A-S-A-L-L-E-A-L-E. Okay. Della-Sal. I did classify at DEL-Sal University.
Starting point is 01:13:40 That's not it. Delisal High School. Okay, here we go. It is a private school. You got that? Oh, Division 1 AA. Division 1 AA. Are you sure you're not looking at the university?
Starting point is 01:14:03 Because a lot of private schools, like even here, like Belmont, you can go to college there too. This says varsity football. Which NFL players went to Deliselle? DJ Williams. Simon, Mike. They have a, did some of the college. Bill players. I don't know, dude.
Starting point is 01:14:22 That's pretty cool, though. It's impressive. How many state championships? Same coach. 25. North Coast Section Championship. 18 Northern California Championships. 25 CIAF Championships, six national titles. Dang.
Starting point is 01:14:36 I don't even know what the California system is. Okay, so there's that one, which I thought was pretty cool. But they ended up getting beat by a school from Seattle. So they were playing schools outside of their conference, too. Yeah, these public schools can pick whoever they want to play. These private schools. Another one was Chris Dudley. Do you remember him?
Starting point is 01:14:53 No. Play basketball. He played forever, but just a big, tall, goofy dude. I don't even know where to play college. I felt like Chris Dudley played college at... Chris Dudley, did he play in the 90s? Oh, yeah. Yeah, okay, I think he was in my team.
Starting point is 01:15:07 You might have been on my 2K team. Oh, really? I think so. Well, you haven't played in two years. With two... Your computer's trading your players off and everything. I tried to log in today and didn't work again. He missed 13 straight free throws.
Starting point is 01:15:20 Wow. Obviously not at one time. Right, right, right. There's no foul. That's that hard. 13, I can probably do that. No, no, yes. You probably could do that.
Starting point is 01:15:29 But he missed 13 straight free throws. That's crazy. I feel for that, I feel for that, dude. I have another one. Caltech men's basketball lost 207 games straight. Hmm. Mm. Like, how do you even play for that team?
Starting point is 01:15:42 Well, you play for them when no one else wants you to play for them. I know. This is brutal. So I did that whole thing. You can go back and hear that too. And then we did an episode, Kailin and I hopped in, Kailin hopton for one. Do a 25 whistles?
Starting point is 01:15:53 No, I did a bobbycast. Oh, okay. What y'all talk about? Well, she didn't know she was coming in for it. She was coming to tell me that maybe food was ready or something? She's just walking in here to tell you. No, she walked in and it was dark and she scared the crap out of me. And I was like, come in, and then she sat down and we talked about some movies.
Starting point is 01:16:10 Oh, that's nice. What about the food? Did it just get cold? Yeah, but I don't know if you've heard of this. It's crazy. We have a microwave. Too warm, but that's not the same. Food's ready means like, dude, it's ready to eat.
Starting point is 01:16:22 Hey, let me ask you this. Do you think it's racist? Oh, God. I'm out. I'm out. All right. Let's see you. See you next week, everybody. Why does my wife's family always make me cook fajitas Christmas time? Like, there's a fajita night, okay? And, like, I've always, I always have to do it. Now, it could not be racist because I do make good fajitas. Can I say that I do not? I think it's racist. But you're also asking a white guy to make a decision about somebody who's Hispanic. Sure. I do not think it's racist because if there were two things I would ask you to make,
Starting point is 01:16:57 I would say, hey, would you mind cooking the steaks? Or would you mind making fajitas? Steaks, not racist. But I'm not asking you because either you're a rancher or a Mexican. Fair, fair enough. I'm asking you because in our history together, the two things you have made the most and have made really well are steaks and fajitas. Okay. And two things you've taken pride in are steaks and fajitas. Right.
Starting point is 01:17:19 So I would say that as well, would you make steak. or fajitas, not because of your skin color, but because of your history of doing it successfully. And I think that's okay because you got the options. Unless they're like, ha-d-d-d-a-di-a-a-a-hita. Well, they do buy tequila to make margaritas. Okay, but that's okay too,
Starting point is 01:17:38 because you do that too, but you want that done. Correct. But see, here's the deal. So there's three siblings, right? My wife has two sisters. They're all white. I'm the only Mexican. Okay.
Starting point is 01:17:50 So one family is responsible. responsible for one night of dinner. Right? So the first night, one of the other couples, they made pork butt. Barbecue pork butt. Okay, now, are they white? They're white. Okay, checks off. Go ahead. Okay. The second night. The second night. They're white. Checks off. All right, go ahead. Third night, it's our night. Bahitas and margaritas. Maybe they're asking you that as a favor to you because they know that's easy for you and you don't have to like look it up. Also, dude, also did you are Mexican. I understand that. I don't think it's racist. To me, racism. But it's not like Eddie, you choose whatever you want to choose. It's your night to cook. Did they ask the other people,
Starting point is 01:18:31 would you mind cooking cheese burgers? No. They just say you're doing pork butt, you're doing cheeseburgers. I'm slowly letting racism. I'm slowly letting racism. I'm slow. I got you. That's it. That's fun. Now you know what I'm talking about. All right, you guys, we're back on the air on Thursday morning live. So I don't know how you're hearing this, but we're back on the air Thursday morning live is the Bobby Bone Show. Thanks for listening to 25 whistles. Eddie, thank you for the Christmas gift. Yeah, you're welcome.
Starting point is 01:18:57 Now you know it's a... A... What do you mean? I just told you. That's right. It's a pickleball bag. And then we hope this loads. I hope it recorded.
Starting point is 01:19:09 Well, I worry about that too. Because I'm running it myself. But I used to run the board all the time. So I still have knowledge of it. But what I do is Mike uploads it. I leave it here on the... I save it and leave it on the desktop. he uploads it. You're going to tell them there's these spaces
Starting point is 01:19:23 where we're looking up stuff? Cut them out? No, I think you should leave them in. Okay. All right. Who cares? At L.A. Space. Sal. Mike, if you hear this, leave it in. All right, thank you guys. Follow at 25 whistles. And so, quickly, we're going to the Pacers next week. Yeah. To shoot out too much X-A-Sat. And we're going the night before to watch a game.
Starting point is 01:19:46 Who are they playing? The Celtics. Oh, Kevin's going to love that. I know. I can't wait to hear Kevin's story about going to the Rose Bowl. Well, I was talking about them, but yeah, apparently he didn't get in. I can't wait to hear that one. That's going to be cool. They just asked me if I want, I didn't, I don't know the tradition.
Starting point is 01:20:02 Oh, halftime? Halftime dunks on a trampoline in a monkey suit. Come on. They have asked me to ask you to cook fajitas for everybody in the area. Okay, see, I knew. Here we go. And margaritas. I think they do, who just the, is the sun has the gorilla, a dunking girl, right?
Starting point is 01:20:18 They've asked me to get in the indie car before the game and start it up. they do that? Apparently so, because it's Indianapolis, obviously. Maybe that's how they start their games. That's cool. They're like, do Bobby want to do that? And I was like, I told my wife,
Starting point is 01:20:31 I was like, that's so cool. She's like, why is that? Not why is it cool, but she's like, why is that cool to you? I was like, because I'm not famous. Like, I'm like known in places, but I'm not famous. And for a professional team
Starting point is 01:20:44 where our show doesn't, like, we're not even on the terrestrial radio in Indianapolis. Yeah, but you want to dance with the stars, dude. But that doesn't matter. They'll remember you from that. Like, realistically, here's the thing. Nobody cares.
Starting point is 01:20:57 I joke about it because it's hilarious. You aren't American Idol. Again, not anymore, though. They might know you from that. It turns out they're all breaking body bones fans. They're breaking body bones. But. They're breaking body bones.
Starting point is 01:21:18 But. Snake in the grass. I hear you. Awesome. That's going to be really cool. We're going to have fun. So you start the car and then that's the game starts? Then I drive it around the game. You crash it.
Starting point is 01:21:29 I have no idea what's happening. I don't know anything about it, but they ask if I want to start the car. That's really cool. Maybe it's up somewhere in the cameras on it. I don't think they drive it on the court, but I don't know. Do you know who we're talking to? No. Okay.
Starting point is 01:21:41 And Kevin said he's going to find a he's going to get a call next week and figure out who it is. His buddy healed would be cool. That is awesome. I had him in my 2K team. All right. Well, speaking of 2K, I asked, if we could talk to Wally, Zurbiac. Is he there?
Starting point is 01:21:55 Well, he does their play-by-play. Oh, that'd be amazing. I hate that guy. Why? Just because he scored like 50 points on me. Oh, and 2K? Oh, they smothered, too. He's my shooter.
Starting point is 01:22:04 Smothered. I was like, can I get Wallyzzerbiag? And it turns out he works for the Knicks as well. And it goes back and forth and he will not be there. Ah, dang. I know, I know. All right, thank you guys, and we will see you later on this week. A win is a win.
