Well, so it says Bobby Bones, pitcher national league. Rookie card, a little emblem up there. Look at you. And so it's me pitching at the Major League Baseball Celebrity All-Star game. And then on the back, Bobby Bowens, National League. Are your stats on there? Yes. Celebrity All-Star game.

Batting average 1,000. Nice. Yeah, never got out. Home runs 1 RBI 4. Wow. The game at 4 RBIs. And then it says, named MVP after four in the mound and one in center field. That's right.

So this is the card. That's legit. So if we want to do a signing guys line up afterward, 20 bucks a pop. Now that I'm a card guy, how many did you make? 500? Yeah. Okay, okay. So that's going to bring the value down a little bit.

I haven't given a single one away. There's no population. What do you mean? No, I sent one to a kid whose mom was like, hey, a kid had a bad day from the show. So right now he's got the one of one? Well, it's not one of one. But he's got the one of, but I haven't sent out any. He's just got one.

And so, honestly, I thought it would be fun to have because I'm a big card guy. And then still considering on my eBay page, like you end up winning a big item,

I signed one in there. That's cool, dude. I don't know that I'm doing that yet. It could be like Willie one. I don't know. But we made them. It's just giveaway deals. But I've only given away one.

So don't we put in your dirty, grabby hands on them. All right. Wait, can I have one? No, it's mid-conditioned. This one here is already in a pat. It's in a sleeve. Oh, they're not all in sleeves? No, they're all like fully, they're freshly produced.

It's still in a box. So MVP card This is the rookie rookie You can tell too if one of them's going to be Like graded at 10 Because some of them like They're cut a little bit differently Oh

And on the line you know Like normal baseball cards Because you can send a card in to get graded And you're like it's in perfect condition But if it's cut If they cut it wrong It's not a 10 Or even if the print was like a little off

I respect it I don't want to do it though No way Matt Brown won at Texas with Vince Young Oh yeah And now it's Carolina. Yeah, so the three that are still in the game, Kirby, Mac, and Davo. So the next to join them. If Ryan Day does not win a title or get to the championship game, it's over.

He's going to get fired. He has every resource. No more hard ball. Maybe four All-American, first-team All-Americans, too. I think I saw like three or four first-team all-Americans at Ohio State. They have paid for everything they need to pay for. They also have as offensive coordinator, they took the head coach from UCLA,

who is also an NFL coach, who is also a former head coach, Eddie, who is now the offensive coordinator at Ohio State? Chip Kelly. Boom, let's go. Nice, Eddie. Yeah, I told you. I know my stuff.

That's good. And who's the head coach? Oh, come on, let's stop there. No, no, no. This is the way he worked on. Who's the head coach at Alabama? Oh, yeah. Figured out.

Kalin DeBoer. Got it. Nice. Good job. I know my stuff. I think it's probably Ryan Day just because everything has been set up, and everything has to go right in college football

or at least has. Now you get to lose a couple games too. The weird thing is going to be Ohio State and Michigan playing each other at the end and they play and they can play again the next week in the conference championship. Then they could hypothetically play again in the college football playoff. They can play three times in like five or six weeks,

which is hilarious. But I'm going to go just because it's set up so wonderfully for him to do so Ryan Day. I think other people you have to look at, Dan Lannning at Oregon, Same conference now, which is interesting. Steve Sarkeesian, Texas is going to be good. They're going to be in the SEC.

I'm curious to see how Texas does in the SEC because they are loaded. But we can't forget the thing about Texas is they're Texas. That's underachieving, you know. But again, they performed well last year. They went to, they were in the playoff. Great, good for Texas. I hate Texas.

But they're set up. They're just in the SEC, and it's not that Texas can't compete in the SEC or that that talent can't compete in the SEC it's just they haven't had to ever do it in the history of their life. So now they're moving up a level. They have the talent to compete

but will they adjust quick enough to not one or two games but like seven or eight where people have similar speed in size? Texas is going to be bigger and faster than most teams anyway. But in the SEC you're playing teams that have similar speed in size

once conference play starts almost every week, except for a Vanderbilt, except for occasionally if like Mississippi State's down or even Arkansas down or one of the teams that float up and down the SEC a little bit, even the mid teams, if you're not ready every week, they will sneak up on you. So I'm still going to go Ryan Day.

He's set up to do it. I don't like Ohio State. I don't dislike Ohio State. But I think he's probably the coach that wins a national title if you're putting money in my hands, hand and say and bet it. But I'm not betting it with my own money. You don't want to put money on Ohio State? No, because I don't like Ohio State. I don't dislike Ohio State. I don't like Ohio State. I get annoyed that when there's four teams, Ohio State automatically gets, if it's even close,

they get in. I think that's what's going to be fun about the 12-team playoff, which will be 16 teams, not next year, but I bet you in two or three years, it's 16 that quick. Because there's no change other than the four teams that get a buy. There's no restructuring really the tournament because four teams get a buy in the first round of the college football playoff. So it's not like you're having to add another anything. You just take that little bracket and move it out. And so it's like the sweet 16 in basketball. Ryan Day is my answer next question.

All right. Which week one matchup are you looking forward to most? First of all, I hate week zero. They should just call it like exhibition. I know the games count. They should put one big game on. Just call that week one. You just don't like the name week zero?

There's no such thing as zero. Zero is not a thing. So let's make a couple games. There was obviously the Ireland game. We should have a couple big games in week zero one. Sure. Week one-half. The game that I think most people are looking forward to is Clemson at Georgia.

I think that sets the tone for both of those programs. Again, in the past, it would probably ruin the season for one of those programs, or they'd be really behind the eight ball going further. But not so much. But Clemson at Georgia. If Clemson wins the game, Clemson will be in the tournament if they win this game because it's not like they're over there in the ACC playing anybody.

So if Georgia wins, Clemson is another team. So this is a bigger game for Clemson than it is Georgia, I would say. That's probably the game people are looking forward to most. I think the Notre Dame Texas A&M game is interesting to me because Notre Dame is supposedly good. And again, they get a bit of the Texas treatment. Are they playing in Texas?

They're playing, yeah, at Call Station. Cool. So, and Texas A&M top 20 team in college station. That's just a fun matchup that my head doesn't really process. Yeah, because they never play. Yeah, that Notre Dame, do people from Notre Dame even go to Texas? Like, even that's weird to me. Yeah.

So that's a fun game, too. USC is going to LSU and is what's USC going to do? You know, do they have a defense this year? I mean, literally, is anyone on the field playing defense? So all those are fun, but I'm still going to go Clemson at Georgia. All right, next one? All right, let's go to the NFL. here. Which team do you think has the best chance to go from last to first in their division?

So the easy answer is the Bengals, but that's just because Joe Burrow was hurt. So I'm going to take the Bengals off because the Bengals easily could have won their division last year. Or they'd have been up with Baltimore battling it out. But if we're putting like the teams that actually sucked, I'm going to read you the last place team. These are teams that actually suck that we're looking for a big improvement. Bears, Titans, Chargers, Cardinals, Panthers, Patriots, commanders. those are all the teams that were in last place of their divisions. So the teams that are not going to go to first place are the Patriots.

They don't. They'll stay at the bottom? Most likely. I don't think they win their division. With Buffalo and the Jets and the Dolphins, that's a tough one. I'm also going to pull the Titans. I think the Titans will, I think they'll win a few more games and people expect them to win this year. But I don't think they're going to win that division.

So I'm going to pull them. I'm pulling the Cardinals. Once Eddie told me, here's a little fun fact for you there, Casey. Eddie told me to bet the Cardinals because they flew over his house and it was like a sign from God. And so I bet the Cardinals were the division

and lost much money. You listen to that Casey Muskrault? It was a big roar, dude. I looked up and it's their team playing flying over my house. Like this is a sign. And so he was like, Marvin Harrison Jr. is just flying above.

Okay. Well, he was like 12 then. Yeah, he wasn't part of the couple of years. Okay. I understand now. I understand now. You look at the Panthers, they were last, I don't think they're going to win the division, but that division, I don't guess anything would surprise me.

I don't think they really have the, you know, the ammunition to come out of that gunfight. I'd like to see them win some games, though. I'd like to see Bryce Young actually play pretty well. That'd be nice. Can't put them on it. So now we're at the Bears, the Chargers, and the Commanders. I think the Bears Division is too hard. I think the Bears will actually be a lot better, obviously, but I think that division is too hard.

Which puts us at the Chargers and Commanders. I don't think the Chargers are going to take the Chiefs. Right. Just straight up. That has been there. So that leaves us as the commanders. I do think it's the commanders. Dang.

To do what? Go worse to first. I do think Jane and Daniels has a great shot at being a rookie of the year. I think your old coach. You're just, you're pissing me off. You're all defensive coordinators. Now the head coach. Got his hat back.

Yeah. Yeah. Okay. You know who the offensive coordinator is. For Washington? You can do it. Yeah. You can do it.

Offense coordinator. Give me a hint. He coached... He coached... In college, he coached Baker Mayfield. No, no. Johnny Mansell. Oh.

Oh. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's his name? Good luck and... What's his first... Cliff, Cliff. Coach Cliff. Yeah.

Kingsbury. Correct. He's the offensive coordinator. Oh, wow. So it's a whole new team. That is a whole new deal. And, you know, what's up with Dallas? Who knows?

What's up with the Eagles? They'll be better than the Giants. They will be... I think they'll be better than the Giants. Better than the Giants. But I don't know, the Giants could surprise you. Daniel Jones just has to play five and a half out of ten. I mean, he threw a pick six in the preseason.

Nothing matters in the preseason. Nothing matters. You seem Brock Purdy in the preseason? Exactly. Nothing matters. Here we go. I think the Giants can win eight games. And that's not even 500.

But I do think Daniel Jones has flashes, and I think the Giants will finish last. But I'm not going to write them off. The Eagles, obviously with Philly, same head coach, new offensive coordinator. The issue is between Hertz and the head. That holds it. I'm going on with the commanders. I think they're going to be pretty good.

Last question. I like it. Which QB coming off of injury? Do you think he'll get his team back to the playoffs? Aaron Rogers or Joe Burrow. Do I have to pick one? Yeah. I think they'll both get in.

I have to go Burrow. Sorry, can you see. But I think you'd say the same. Being a Jets fan. Everything tends to not work out. All right, that's the title. Thank you. Let's talk about the parlay this week.

It's getting a little weird. No, no, I need to like go knuckles deep. We're talking football here? We are talking football here.

And then I'm going to go LSU, the rebuilding, the rebuilt a bit, LSU money line over USC. You know, not coincidentally all SEC teams. Oh, no, you didn't even think of it like that? I probably did subconscious thing. You didn't even look at the other games. I know, I know. So we got Texas A&M over Notre Dame, Georgia over Clemson, LSU at USC.

Now we're going to get over to former running back, fullback, all around, great guy, great player,

Chiefs Hall of Famer Tony Richardson. Tony's a super smart dude. He got his master's degree. He's now a mentor for the young players. He still lives in New York. He says that he works with the Giants and the Jets a lot with bringing guys up and teaching them the right route to go when it comes to their career and money and all that good stuff. But list goes on and on. So I'll just let you hear it for yourself. Tony talks about that. Here's Tony Richardson from Fanatics Fest in New York. So as you were coming on, we just finished speaking with Rich Eisen. Great Rich Eisen. That's great. Who I love. So what is your relationship with Rich?

You know, it's funny. It goes way back. So actually, when I was the first person as a current player to finish his master, so I got my NBA in finance. And so Rich, the organization, the chiefs organization, did a phenomenal job of really just inviting the entire organization anybody that wanted to come. Mr. Hunt, the late Mr. Hunt, actually came to the graduation, so they did a big feature on it. And so they came to my house. They filmed the graduation and everything else. And then Rich obviously did a great job of producing it and talking over it. But they also used to do a segment called, I guess it was like NFL cribs or something like that. That's funny that, you know, we did those things. But yeah, Rich was doing that well. So it's amazing from where

he started and where he is now. I mean, he's a legend. So let's talk about being a full. for a second. Yeah. Like that don't really happen anymore. Well, you know, actually there's a few guys. And so I'm fortunate. So I work for Legends community and my boss Tracy Perlman and well my main boss, Roger Goodell is the other way. He's actually on the stage right now on the fanatic stage. And then and Tracy Perlman. So so interesting enough working for the NFL, I get a chance to do a lot of mentorship. So we go down to the combine and I get a chance to work with me and work down. We get a chance to work with the running backs and fullbacks. Generally, there's one fullback at the combine.

So one of my great mentor stories was I got a chance to meet Alec Engel. And he was, I had him at the senior bowl. And he was like, hey, man, do you think I can play? I was like, dude, absolutely. And then from the senior ball, I saw him at the combine. And then the combine, he ended up going to the Raiders. Now he's the highest paid fullback with the Miami Dolphins. And so I built those relationships.

So we have CJ Ham. He's down in Minnesota. A huge check. Yeah, Hushek. I talked to Houston. So it's, you know, it's a, and then you got the veteran ram up there in Baltimore. So there's, there's a few guys that are still out there. It's just, you know, everyone's like, like right now, if I was currently playing,

I don't know if I'd be in the National Football League because if I was with the Chiefs, there's no fullback. Like they have Tyreek Hill in the backfield, obviously not there anymore. But, you know, they run a spread offense and everything's moving. So the position itself is kind of, it's starting to come back. I guess when the weather changes, that's when they start putting fullback. That's when they resign them in the winter. All right, it's below 60.

Let's sign us a fullback. All they do is it's like, look, during this season, we just want you to sit in the house and just eat meat all day long. When it starts to get cold outside, we're going to bring you out like a pole bear and put you out there and just be a batterer around going to hit people. What about, it seems too, like fullbacks, much like tight ends, have to be a bit more utility-esque.

No doubt. They're not just straightforward to end the gap, take out the linebacker. Like, they've also, I mean, Ushchecks is a great example of that. Could you catch? You know, it's funny enough, I think anything, I mean, I was a, I called the ball pretty well, but it's one of those things I think is just as far as the route running. Like there was times where we'd motion myself out of the backfill and then I'd run like a non route. But nowadays you got like, Hushchec, he's running routes.

Like he's running corner routes. He's running comebacks. He's doing, I mean, he had one in the Super Bowl. He came back and called. I'm like, man, I didn't have those type of hands. But, you know, with anything, I guess if I was asked to do that and obviously to keep your job, if you're asked to do that, you're going to do it. But yeah, and that's the thing now.

funny because I do all these football camps with some of my buddies who are running camps and some of my own. And I'm like, okay, where's the running backs? We'll get three running backs and 40 wide receivers. But you got to think about it, like the shelf life for running backs is three years. Wide receivers are making $35 million a year. So parents are like, no, you're not playing a running back. They're going to get you out of here. So it's injured.

So now what we do is we put the running backs and the wide receivers. We put them together because in order to play running back in this league, you have to be able to run routes. You know, the pass protection part is one thing I think that's kind of lost our game because you couldn't play running back in the league if you couldn't pick up the Blitz. Well, nowadays, there's no blitz because the linebackers are 185 pounds just because they got to cover of running back side of the back field. But yeah, I guess if I had to, I would be able to adjust to catch the ball. How special when they called your number to get that goal line carry? You know, it happened. But, you know, it's funny.

Some years before Pre-Terns came to Kansas City, I was in feature back. So I got the ball quite a bit. And then all of a sudden, pre-showed up, and it was like, no, you're going back to put your hand in the dirt. It's like, you're going to put your hand back in the dirt. But, yeah, it was always special, man. And great thing for me is, like, of all the years of the years I play, I've always played with an incredible offensive line.

I mean, you think about playing in Kansas City. I had Hall of Famer Will Shields. I had Willie Roof. I had Brian Waters. Then I go to Minnesota. I got Steve Hutchison, Brian McKinney. Then I come to the Jets. and I got Fanica, I got De Brickshaw, I got, you know, Mangled.

So every place I played, I played with some great offensive alignment, which made my job that much easier. So for a fullback, me getting the ball, it's just like a guard getting the ball, so they cheer me on. So I'm like, you know, I get the ball like maybe five times a season. So it's all fun. It's all good. What about playing if, let's say today you're coming up,

would you have been a tight end? I mean, I probably would have had to be someone like a Dallas fart, just because, I mean, now I've lost like, I mean, I'm down to about, I weigh myself today. I'm like 223. I played about 242. So I've lost a tremendous amount of weight, but I would probably have to be that hybrid type of guy,

like a Dallas Clark, not saying I have nowhere hands like him, but maybe a guy that body type that could run routes out of the back field and catch the ball, but also line up and block as well. How does your body feel after being so, I mean, dude, you plow through a lot of lines. How does it feel today?

You know, I can tell you, I feel pretty good now. When I was going through my line of duty, when I was trying to get all my benefits, I was horrible. I was like, oh, everything. Should I show up in a wheelchair and a neck brace? But, no, funny enough, so I work out every day. I still lift weights.

I'm big in a yoga. Funny enough, when I got to the Dallas Cowboys in 1994, like, I was pretty fast out of college. And our tight end, Novichek actually said, he's like, T. Rich, straight ahead, you're incredible. But if you make a left or right, you're going to blow your hip out. So he got me started to do, I started with taekwondo. and I started just getting loose. And then all of a sudden I got to Kansas City and my buddy introduced me to Bickram Yoga.

And I think that's what really helped me play 17 years because I never had any knee injuries, knock on wood. I don't know if this is real wood. It's all right. The hot yoga? It's Beacon Hot yoga? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've done that. But it's great because, like,

and I tell the young guys now, because even at the combine, they do flexibility test. And they do it because if you get your foot stuck in the ground, one or three things are going to give, your ankle's going to pop, your knee joint, or your hip. And if you're flexible, like, I mean, right now I'm not going to do it because I got these little lemon pants on. But I can do a split. I can do a split.

I can do a split. And if you get into an awkward position, because that's generally when people, you know, knees or whatever, because it's like they get their foot on the ground and they have tight hips or different things like that. So I think the key for my success was flexibility. But that's one thing. Like my body feels great. I have knock up wood, no pain. Don't tell the doctors. No, they're not listening.

They're like, I get my buddies. I'm like, man, make sure you do. all your medical stuff. And they're like, man, can I play basketball? I said, well, don't go in there and just say I just shot 14 games of full full press. I said, you know, but afterwards, you know, because you got to still live your life. But, you know, when you start filling out your paperwork, you got to be like, man, my neck hurt. Everything that might hurt is listed. My neck in my back. Final question for you. And you're known so much for giving back, even working with a lot of the young guys. Somebody just coming into the league coming from a small to a mid-sized school, right?

let's say they weren't in Alabama or in Ohio State. Like, what is your advice to these guys where, I mean, is it so much the speed physically? Is it the speed? And then also like real personal life stuff. Like what do you work with these kids on? Yeah, you know, the biggest thing. And that's a very good question because a lot of parents always come to me and they're like, okay, my kids get recruited. Potentially he can go to Ohio State and he's probably like, like right now, if you go to Alabama, chances are you probably, unless you're like a five star times 10.

you're probably not going to play until your junior, possibly senior year. But, you know, one of those things that now the way tape is spread, the way to internet and everything else, my biggest thing is just, first of all, getting your foot in the door. And then when you're getting your foot in the door, it's just about going to work. Because I came out of Auburn, which was, you know, we went undefeated.

We were 11-0. And I get to the, I was undrafted to the Dallas Cowboys. And so basically, if you're undrafted and you're on the practice squad, my main job was to make sure Emmett Smith's helmet didn't touch the ground. Darry Johnson had water. You know, it was just part of my role, but I accepted it. And so the biggest thing, like my dad said, he served our country for 32 years, and he would say, son, there's a reason why you have two ears and one mouth.

So sometimes it's okay just to be quiet. He didn't say that. He would say other words, but to basically shut up and listen. And so I took that role, and I said, you know what, I'm going to do everything I can to show my value and to show my worth. And I just bust my butt every single day, understanding that, you know, things happen and everything's always not going to work in your favor. but you know, continue to work hard and, you know, good things that happen.

But once you get your foot in the door, understanding every single year, every single year I was in the National Football League, they brought someone in or they drafted someone to beat me out every single year. So never rest on your low. Like if you make the team your second year and be like, okay, now I made it, I stopped working hard. Guess what? There's a young kid in college right now who will come take your job.

And so that's the biggest thing that's the biggest advice I give guys is that, you know, I don't, I mean, I can't run. I used to be able to run fast, but I might not be able to run a four or three, but no one's going to be able to outwork me. And that's the biggest thing that I think carries over into life. You guys are supposed to talk to me about flag football. We didn't even talk about flag football. We ain't got there yet.

Oh, okay. You said last question. Next question is. Well, last question like about my personal, like. Yeah. No, we get the real stuff coming on too, but like we get selfish questions. We do selfish first. Yeah.

I just see a lot of a group of people walking. it's a streamer yeah oh i don't stream we stream yeah i know what you're doing it to us oh is that is that the kid that plays uh the video games he's like yeah yeah okay okay yeah uh i like football yeah i see the uh commercials about the uh during the games about flag yeah and the growth of the sport and it's also in the olympics coming up in four years yep so how are those somewhat connected yeah actually it is so i'm actually uh so myself drew breeze uh we're actually Bobby Taylor, we're actually, I guess, spokespeople for flag football.

And so, you know, it's actually a crazy thing about flag football. I just got back from London, obviously the Jets and Vikings are playing there. And I got a chance to, we hosted a flag football tournament for young girls. And it was Chicago Bears and the Jets. You should have seen these young women. Like, first of all, they're two years into the sport. But just to see their athleticism, to see their want-to and understanding that now, these kids can get college scholarships to go play flag football.

And also it's one of those things that it's not a male-dominated sport anymore. But, yeah, as far as the Olympics, like me and Bobby, we had a chance to go down to the World Games, which is actually in Birmingham, Alabama. And you see these women out here competing, and they're like, they're getting down. They're getting after it. So to be able to see that women are actually now being able to get college scholarships. And also, you know, now it's an Olympic sport. I think it's pretty cool.

Would the goal be with especially female flag football? Because with the Olympics four years is male and female. But it's also five-on-five, like Olympic-wise. is the goal to get universities to eventually have teams as well? You know, I think that's where it's headed because I, you know, because the Jets, I still do a lot of work with the Jets. And we actually sponsored like tackle football. So we have high school, there's high school tackle football.

It's high school flag. And now I think colleges will potentially, and I don't know if it's going to be five on five, but there are leagues. I know colleges are starting to, you know, I guess not necessarily D1, but maybe D2 or D3 where women can actually get college scholarships to play flag football. And when I would play flag, when I was younger, I would cheat and put in my pockets. Well, yeah. Yeah, yeah. That's how like elementary school? Yeah, whatever. I would just cheat. I didn't even know that was a rule though. You can't, I guess you can't. It's called flag guarding.

I would do that. I would guard my flag. I would cover arm. Yeah, yeah. I would do like this. Yeah. I would not it up. But I would. But you know the cool things. Like these kids are so athletic now that they're running full speed and they'll drop down to like where they need and touch the ground and they just, and that's legal. You drop down and they can't pull your flag. Yeah, so these girls got skills. These women have skills. If there are parents that are listening to this now and they have daughters who have an interest, where can they go to read more about what you're doing or learn more about what you're doing?

Yeah, I think you just go to NFL. fag or NFL, if you go to the NFL website, there's always different posts or different things like that. And it's a great entry for, I think, for men and women just because we're boys and girls. Because I know a lot of times parents always say, well, what age should I start my child playing tackle football? And I said, well, if you're kind of concerned about that, then start with Flag.

And, you know, and that's the biggest thing for me. Like, I grew up in Germany. So my first time really playing organized football was my 10th grade year in high school. but I did play soccer and just having the versatility of playing different sports, I think helped me as I started to really get into, you know, really tackle football. So I think if young people start playing Flag at an early age, because, I mean, it's every athletic movement that you're going to make in any sport because in basketball you've got to jump.

And flag, you're jumping. You got to make people miss and all those kind of things. And so I think the game of Flag is really, you know, it's really helping our game because at one time, obviously, when you see injuries and things that nature and then parents, like is the game of football safe. And the game of football is very safe. And I think a great entry way is through flag.

No fullbacks in flag. No, listen, you guys are trying to run me out of here. There's no fullbacks that tackle football. We're done. Well, my question was going to be, is it cyclical? Will we, someone again will adopt like the wing T triple option? Because everything that's old is new is old again. Yeah.

So we're spread. You know, we're McDaniels in Miami. But we're tired. where the can't Andy Reid. Yeah. But who, when we see two fullbacks on the field, like that's when we know. We know the thing about it is, and that's what I think of like I love about Mike McDaniel because they use their fullback all the time.

Now, granted, he does, I mean, he, I mean, I'm like, Alec, dude, I don't even know how you keep your weight up because they have him running. But the thing about it is like they use a fullback almost 60 to 70% of the offensive snaps. So I do, I don't know if we're going to get a full because, you know, I mean, I don't know if we get a fullback and flag. But yeah, don't start throwing stuff out of it. You're trying to give me a limit.

from Native Americans. But the Raiders, it's a fan contest. It's like rethought where the Steelers were, like looters. Pirates are looters. The Chargers. What do you think the Chargers?

Why, they were named that? San Diego Lightning Bolt. They weren't originally in San Diego, just for the record. Anyone want to take a shot of this? I'm just going to guess. They were originally somewhere with a lot of storms and a lot of lightning. So they originally were in Los Angeles

before they went to San Diego, then back to Los Angeles. And the owner, Baron Hilton, loved the bugle called a charge, a horse. Oh. So they were the charger. Not even the lightning bolts came as the imagery of the name, but the chargers were just a forward push. I was thinking solar panels.

Yeah, no energy. It is now. The Dallas Cowboys? That's a tough one. Just Texas, you know. So the Dallas Steers were scheduled to become the Rangers until a local baseball team, the Rangers decided not to fold before the 1960 season. The name of the Dallas Steers was quickly changed to the Cowboys

before the beginning of the season. We're like, well, we'll just go to the Cowboys. Wow. Commanders, take notes. Stuck. New York Giants. A lot of teams up there. They just want to be the biggest.

They want to be the biggest. I'm going to say a lot of, uh, tall buildings. Oh, that's good. It's actually, because the New York Giants ended up moving to San Francisco in baseball, so they just changed it to what the baseball team was. Oh, never mind.

The New York Giants, because the New York Giants were the Giants in baseball as well. Yeah. They moved. The Eagles, you know, not what I thought. I thought it'd be named after like America's bald eagle. That's not it. You're not going to get this.

Yeah, no way. Named after the Blue Eagle, a symbol used for the New Deal programs during the Great Depression. What if one of us said that? Yeah, what? I thought you cheated. I thought you cheated. Yeah.

The commanders, military theme, D.C., that's a new. Just a couple more here. Chicago Bears. This one's good. One time there was a bear that broke loose in the city, and they just added the name of the team after it. Not it, but I like it. Smokey the bear.

The bears were named to compliment the Cubs. Oh. As I'm looking at your hat trying to think of things right now. Wow. I'm wearing a Cubs hat, and I'm like looking at him. The bears were named after the Cubs had already existed, so the Bears came in. to just be a version, like an older version,

tougher version of the Cubs. That's cute. That's cool. The Detroit Lions. Lion Pride. They're big on zoos out there and lions and their zoos. I think it's just they like lions.

I think that one's only literally like lions. Okay. The Packers? Cheese packing. Cheese packing? Who's packing cheese? Named after the Indian packing company, a meat packing company that sponsored

the team. Wow. That's crazy that it's named after a commercial. Basically for them. Back in the day, you paid enough money, you got to name the team. Minnesota Vikings? They liked Vikings. A lot of Scandinavian heritage up there.

Even the horn of the but, whatever that is that plays. Okay, one more division. Maybe two. The Falcons, you know, that was a fan contest. And they were just like, we like Falcons. They're cool. Some of those. Who cares?

The Panthers, chosen at the time by the owner of Jerry Richardson because he thought powers were, Panthers were strong. That's a boring one. The Saints, this is a good one. The New Orleans Saints. That's something to do with that city. Yeah, like Owen the Saints. That's exactly it.

When the Saints go marching in. Oh. Named after the city's rich Catholic heritage and the jazz song When the Saints go marching in. It's a good song. Pretty cool. I was marching on. When the Saints go marching in.

You thought it was on? I thought, yeah. Maybe that changes halfway through the song I don't know that it is. Thanks for making me feel back. I got you. The Bucks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers was a named the team contest.

But also other ties of the area include the local legend of pirate Jose Gaspar who honored in the Gasparilla Pirate Festival. But that was all based in people naming it because of that. Four more, the Cardinals,

they began as the Morgan Athletic Club. They started in Chicago back in 1898. The organization planned wear maroon-colored jerseys that were borrowed from the University of Chicago, but the owner, Chris O'Brien, deemed them Cardinal Red instead, and so the name stuck with them. So St. Louis, they went to Birds, they went to St. Louis. Louis Cardinals. It was the Cardinal Red, but the St. Louis Cardinals, and they put a little Cardinal, and now we think of them as the Cardinal Bird, but the Cardinal Bird, but Cardinal Bird did not appear until 1947. Dang.

So for 48, 49 years, they were known as St. Louis Cardinals, but red Cardinals. Wow. It's like the blues. But the blues St. Louis Blues? Yeah, I think the blues, I don't, is that music? Yeah, is that the color?

But did it turn into the music? Yeah, the logo? Yeah, were they originally named after the color? I don't know. The Rams, the team was from Cleveland. It was named after the Fordham Rams, a college football team in Cleveland. Wow.

The 49ers named after the prospectors who arrived during the gold rush of 1849. Oh. To which Eddie yelled fools gold about. Yeah. Yeah. What was that, Brock? Who did he say that?

Brock Purdy. Brock Party. Yeah. And the Seahawks. It was a named the team contest. It was chosen over other birds, like the seagulls. Oh, thank God. I don't know there is a real, something named a Seahawk.

Okay, all right. Very nice. We went to dinner. It was me, my agent, Eddie, and Rich Eisen. who is also from Long Island. Yeah, he's from Staten Island. Good. I knew it was one of the islands.

But he was rich and he was like, man, where we're going? It used to be like local and home and now it's like a mall. Yeah. And it's like the city, man. It's always grown. It's a lot. It's a lot. It's a lot.

It's a lot. It's a lot. It's a kid, man. What was weird, too, is where we were eating dinner. You can look across the window and, like, there's someone's apartment. They're like making dinner. Yeah. Oh, you can look in the window.

It's so weird. We'll see that. We were looking in the windows there. Privacy is not quite a thing. No. So what are you, a Jets guy or a Giants guy? So I'm a jet fan. Oh, yeah, I remember that.

Yeah. So you guys were talking about Hard Knocks earlier. I have not watched because last year was the Jets. And, you know, as things turned out week one, I feel like it was a curse. So I can't watch anymore. Well, the curse would be on the Bears then, right? I think, I don't want to say anything. Or it's just you watching that show, period.

If it's just you watching any season of Hard Knocks, it hurts the Jets. That's a weird thought. I don't know. I mean, the Madden cover thing is a thing. I don't know. Who's on Madden this year? It's Christian McCaffrey. Who's already hurt? Uh-oh. Yeah. But McCaffrey's been hurt almost every year except for last year. Yeah. I know. I know. Which makes me then think, and I'm like, listen, I know what it's like to be a superb athlete. You know. Yeah. MVP. Of course. Yeah, yeah.

But it's like, it's a lot more easy. It's easier to be hurt and not as hard to be hurt if you're on the Panthers. Let's be honest. And the 49ers. Maybe you don't rush it back so fast when you're playing in Carolina. with San Francisco, you probably push it. No, you go a little harder. A little bit. And Jets' offensive line, much better than last year. Much better. Yeah, Tyron Smith from Eddie's Cowboys over here.

So that should be helpful. So, yeah, I'm actually going to the game week two. The Jets are coming here to Tennessee. I'm actually going with Pops, so I'm excited. Cool. That's a win. Jets are playing Monday night against the 49ers, actually for Monday night. So I'm just hoping.

Wait, week one? Yeah, that's a long travel game. Long travel game. and after what happened last year, I'm just hoping he can make it at least one week. So I can see him play, Rogers, in the green, in the gang green jersey. Did, when they listed the top 100 players in the NFL this year, and they were showing like a great play from them for last year, did you see Rogers?

You mean the one play where he just took the flag out? That's what they used for him for the play. Like number 90 or whatever it was, and the one play they used for him was him running with the flag. Yeah, that was it. Which was pretty hilarious. Downhill. Is a jet? fan like I felt that because I'm a Cubs fan and I'm a razor bike fan. Yeah, you kind of,

we lose. We lose, right? We just generally lose. But you had that moment though. You had the moment, the World Series moment. And I was saying like, I haven't had that moment yet with the Jets. 69. He wasn't around. My dad was six years old. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, yeah, it's been a rough, rough go around. It'd be tough to be a Jets fan. Yeah. But also, I think a positive of the Giants also suck. that's true it'd be much harder if the Giants were great yeah yeah but you know it just seems like with the Giants like it's going to happen sometime soon like I feel like they're just better run generally I mean maybe not these last couple years but I feel like they have the opportunity to

kind of get their you know what together well and the the Giants do have an offensive minded head coach with Salah he's a defense guy in an offense league Xer Cs from 300 I know he's not so great What would be a good season for you this year? How many wins? I mean, I would just, nine and, well, yeah, I guess now with the 17 season. Yeah, I would love 10 plus wins, but I don't know, man. Like 10 and 7?

That's floor. If Aaron Rogers plays, that's floor, right? I mean, they're going to be, there's two Patriot wins. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Well, we'll see. I don't know. You guys, you know, I know we broke the streak. Yeah, but that's, you know, I'm not.

I don't know. Two Patriot wins, one Titans win. There's three wins already. All right. You know, we're already there. So nine wins for you is, that's a quality year. I mean, I guess, yeah, I would be thrilled with the last couple years, you know. And, you know, we had Darnold before this, before the Zach Wilson thing with Adam Gase.

I mean, it's been. Anybody with Adam Gase, like, that's why I give Sam Donald a little chance. If Adam Gase is your coach and you're a quarterback, that didn't count. No. That shouldn't count against you. It's like COVID. Yeah, yeah, like that shouldn't count. and playing for the Panthers.

It shouldn't count against you. And that's all Sam Darnold has had until he got to go, you know, play back up there with a good team. Yeah. Well, you know what, Casey, we're rooting for you, buddy. I appreciate it. You're not going to win.

You're not. I don't care, but yeah. We're not going to win, but there's no way I would ever, ever root for a New York team. But what about a team that's... I'm sorry, Casey, not the personal. What about a team that's been terrible forever?
