Starting point is 00:04:10 Eddie, I do have your business. They came in? I've had it. From TikTok shop. I brought yours only today. Yeah, it's a big old. bag. Merry Christmas, boys!
Starting point is 00:04:19 After you're done, I want the bag bag. It's like the one bag I'm getting ready's present in. That's a nice bag. Thank you. It is a big bag. Wow, dude. It's huge. Yeah, it's a white bag, a little Christmas tree's over it.
Starting point is 00:04:28 Can I open it now? Yeah. Is that the whole point? Yeah. Did you wrap this yourself? Yeah. Obviously, looking at a bag in the paper. It's a bag, yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:35 You don't want to keep this, dude. Now you can throw that way. That's still folded. What is this? Oh, dude. Yes. It's the flamethrower. Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:45 It's the flamethrower. Dude. It's the little flamethrower with it. And I even went... Are these the tanks? So they didn't come with it, but I had to buy them separate. It's like, if you got something without batteries, you're like, oh, that sucks on Christmas morning.
Starting point is 00:04:54 So I had to go and Amazon order those separately. How do you ship these tanks? I feel like this would blow up the truck. I don't think that's the case. But I got you four of them. Wow. Should we try it right now? No, not in here.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Wait, how much is it? Throw out flames. I haven't opened it. On TikTok, it looked awesome. People had... Yeah, how far was the flame on TikTok? A couple feet. Dude, what am I going to burn?
Starting point is 00:05:16 with this. Now, I actually know what I can legitimately use this for. No, what you're going to use it for is look cool in front of your kids. Well, yes, but you can also do it with a smoker? Like when you're smoking meat? I mean, could you do it in here? Would water start coming out? No, no, no, dude. I can do it right now. But you don't do it in here. Maybe go to the porch. Philibuster. Let's do it right here. We can go out.
Starting point is 00:05:33 Maybe not about my computer. No, I wouldn't do it in this room. Because if water starts to come down from the electric What's going to smoke? We just don't know. Yeah. Come on, guys. Live up a little balcony right out of this door we can go to. Yeah, I think you'd go to the balcony with it.
Starting point is 00:05:48 Eddie's opening it with his teeth. I've broken way too many teeth doing that. So anyway, that was your present. Thank you, dude. You got to keep those away from your kids, though, right? What? Boutain. Okay.
Starting point is 00:05:58 Oh, so this screws on. Oh, it screws on to the actual gun. And then you fill the gun. Dude, let me try this. Can I try this right now? Not in here, though. You can open it right now. This is so cool. And the fact that I have three freaking butane tanks.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Four. Or four? It's legit. You keep opening that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can talk it. We'll shut his mic off for a second. Holy crap. Okay, can turn it back on. Hold on. He's remarking on how beautiful it is.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Look at the silver thing. Oh, dude, that looks dangerous. Look at this bad boy. It's got a trigger? I want one of those. Bro, he's right. Your kids are going to think you're like... That's so cool. The coolest.
Starting point is 00:06:36 But if it's a huge flame... Oh, this isn't it. Did you look up what you needed? Because this definitely isn't it. Is it an adapter somewhere? I think I, dude, you know what I think I need here? What? I'll read more about it.
Starting point is 00:06:49 But I think I need those big Coleman screws. I took a picture of it and put it in chat GBT and it said, hey, these are the tanks that you order. We've talked about chat GBT. Oh, man. And I'm always right. Dang, your batteries are wrong on Christmas morning. You can't play your video game. That's okay, though.
Starting point is 00:07:01 I'll put this in my zippo. I don't have a zippo, but. Well, you got a flame throw for Christmas. Awesome. Okay. Hey, and the good news is we're not going to burn anything down today. Yeah, maybe that is the good news. Thank you, man.
Starting point is 00:07:11 That's awesome. Merry Christmas. I know last night's a rough night for you It's terrible, dude When I went to sleep By the way, we had such a bad day of our money league We're down like almost $4,000 $4,000.
Starting point is 00:07:24 Did you not see what I sent you? No, no, I wasn't looking at text after last night This guy kills me, no, it was before the game I wasn't looking at those either But it was before the game 4,000? Dude, I can't 4,000, I can't We were at 37, minus 3,700 before last night's
Starting point is 00:07:37 At minus 3,900 now Guys, we're in trouble Because we didn't have, that's why I was saying this morning morning, next week's a big week. We didn't have a single team win. I'm going to torch myself. Don't throw the butane. This is not good. Yeah, we're down $3,900.
Starting point is 00:07:51 Dude, what on earth? Every team we had lost this week and every other team wins. What are we going to do? Yeah, I couldn't. Hold on a minute. It says here, there's no way we went from $39. It says now minus $5,900. No way. All right, for donations.
Starting point is 00:08:09 We can't do it to. Maybe he didn't. that's not right because hey listen 40 scans is minus 7,000 we can't do we're at 43 I think we might be
Starting point is 00:08:19 he might not have updated it to the second part of the game I took that picture we need to call them right now we can't do that we can't do that we have to do that no I mean
Starting point is 00:08:28 it looks like right now we're down $5,900 oh what the oh my gosh did we call Matt yes yes did they take
Starting point is 00:08:38 payment plan payment plan yeah yeah my twins first Christmas Well no toys It'll happen after Christmas though So you don't have to worry about it You don't have to pay it before Christmas
Starting point is 00:08:47 Okay It's a good thing they're babies man I know Well I don't have babies Well when it was 4,000 I was like oh this sucks But then when I looked at it again And now it's this 5900
Starting point is 00:08:57 It must be a typo Hey you're on the air Oh okay It says we're at minus 5,900 And the guys Because yesterday we're at minus 3,000 And how do we get from 37 to 59, they wonder? Well, the best answer to that is because y'all lost a whole lot and you didn't win any.
Starting point is 00:09:23 They're just right now. Now, we figured that. They figured that. But again, when they looked yesterday at like 4 p.m., it said 3,700, now it's at 59. They had a big trouble with the jump. Oh, well, I don't know. I think it must have been, on a serious note, it must. be that a lot of
Starting point is 00:09:42 skins got one that week, because I remember I don't think y'all have one one yet this week and you've got, and you've got the only thing you can do is you're guaranteed one tonight. So I mean, add 500 to Well, maybe four, maybe four because we can also lose
Starting point is 00:09:58 a skin as well tonight. Oh, you can? Well, because the dolphins are playing Steelers, the Steelers, and if somebody has the Steelers to win and the dolphins lose, we get 500 but then we lose 100 on the four. Oh yeah, that's right. So you win four or
Starting point is 00:10:14 500, yeah, from that. But, man, I don't know. I know that this week as I was filling it out, I think we won five skins. Jared, and then won five skins. I think I think the ringer boys maybe won four or five. Like, there are just a lot of skins
Starting point is 00:10:32 this week, and I think that's probably the issue. Eddie? Yeah, Matt, is there any way the math the math is wrong, like could maybe a number been punched twice or something? But it could be punched like the wrong way too. It could be, it could definitely be user error or administrator error
Starting point is 00:10:50 being is that I'm the administrator. So I will do a double take over that to make sure that I've got y'all squared up. Yeah, I would appreciate that. Yeah. All right. Thanks, buddy. All right, boys. Oh, boy. Dude, I think there's an error the other way.
Starting point is 00:11:06 I think we're going to caught the other way with an error. Oh, so don't double check. Call him back. Don't double check. No, you can't say don't double check. Yeah, we're at minus $6,000 right now. Why? According to your math?
Starting point is 00:11:15 No, according to this math. Dude, it just went from 1,500. That's a crew. But why do you think it's going to get worse if he double checks? It doesn't matter. I don't want to say because then somebody will message him from eyes. But, yeah. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:11:30 So. I mean, there's a chance to climb back. Yeah, we have to win a lot of games. Yeah, but I mean, we only have three weeks left. We have the Chiefs and they lost Patrick Mahomes. But Menchu, dude. Menshu Magic is a real thing. We have to win so much and hope two teams get in the playoffs and hope they win a lot. We're going to be down.
Starting point is 00:11:45 Because right now it's $6,000. So that's $1,500 from each of you. And $3,000 for me. We have the Patriots who could win it all. We need them to go far. We have the Patriots. They have to get in the playoffs and win. We'll win the Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:11:58 And then we have the bucks. They need to get in the playoffs. Otherwise, we need the Chiefs to win. And two of the three games are against the Raiders and Titans. Yeah, so love that And the other one in Broncos You're gonna lose that Yeah, who knows
Starting point is 00:12:12 It doesn't matter I don't want to spend this whole time Before I know I know I know about us talking about our money league Real quick though Dream scenario We're down $6,000
Starting point is 00:12:17 I know Dream scenario Patriots Buck Super Bowl Yep Yeah Okay Yeah
Starting point is 00:12:23 I like it Eddie I think it's possible Doreen Is Baker healthy I mean They lost Thursday night It feels like Forever ago
Starting point is 00:12:31 He doesn't look like he's healthy But anyway Sorry to tell you We're down $6,000 Yeah Thank you man But I got a cool Christmas gift, so there's that. I thought you already knew we were down four.
Starting point is 00:12:40 I did. I knew four, dude. No, you didn't. When I said four, you're like, I didn't know, I didn't look at it. Well, I figured, I mean, we didn't win one game. And then, yeah, I figured it was bad. How does that make you feel it would be down $6,000? No, I'm scared.
Starting point is 00:12:52 I think we have your wife on the line? No, you did not, dude. I've not told her. When is that coming? But remember, you guys only are 25% of the team. Yeah. Thank God. I know, dude.
Starting point is 00:13:02 And you want to do 33, Eddie. Did I? Yeah. Two of our quarterbacks, gone. Mahomes and Burrough. Gone. Two of the top three quarterbacks, gone. Anyway, we'll come back to that.
Starting point is 00:13:12 Okay. No, I, yeah. How's it make you? But it's not for Christmas, though. It'll be, they don't make you pay until. February? March? After Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:13:19 After taxes? Okay, so March. We can push them after March. Yeah. Get the return first and then we can pay. After Super Bowl. I saw McDonald's hiring across the street. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:13:27 A second job just to do this. On the way out. They're like 20-something bucks an hour now. Yeah. Okay. I have a lot of notes. Mike, did you watch Sina's last match? I did.
Starting point is 00:13:38 Thoughts? Emotional. Like him walking out that first pop whenever his interest music hits for the last time, like that hit me. That was the best part of the night. He's done, done? Yeah, he's done.
Starting point is 00:13:48 I don't like the production of Saturday Night Main Event. Why? Feels cheap. Yeah, it does like a little second rate. It does. They're not called pay-perews anymore, but we'll call it that for the sake of this. Those look much better.
Starting point is 00:14:03 Better camera angles. It looks a bit more. cinematic, better camera. This is like a shot with webcams almost. Yeah, not the platform I wish you would have gone out on. I agree. I had a friend who was there as well. Yeah, me too. What was it on? Peacock. And it's not a peacock thing because sometimes
Starting point is 00:14:17 Peacock runs the PLEs. And they look great, but it's the production of NBC versus WWE. So earlier there was a tag match. They had three matches before Cinas. There was a tag match and AJ
Starting point is 00:14:32 Stiles fell during the match. And I I was watching with my wife, and she'd never watch wrestling. And she was like, but they're not really hitting each other. And I'm like, that's not the point. I had to go through the whole talk of everybody knows that it's not real, except they are really falling and it makes me nervous. It still hurts. And they're extremely good athletes and people get injured.
Starting point is 00:14:53 But yes, it is scripted. And so she'd see the moves that looks super fake. She'd be like, that's fake. I know I said that the very beginning. I'm not going to argue about how fake it looks. It's not the point of it. But they were doing a tag match. and AJS. I was climbing up on the ropes
Starting point is 00:15:06 and was going to jump off the rope and he slipped and just fell under the ring. And I was like, oh, and that is what I hate seeing. Yeah. It makes me uncomfortable because watching adults fall no longer fun to me. That wasn't part of the script. No, and he's like 48. Yeah. I always wear for their ankles whenever they even jump out of the ring. You're like, oh, man. He's like Philip Rivers of freaking WWE. Beer billy and all? Not so beery, but definitely older.
Starting point is 00:15:29 Wow. But yeah, that sucked. There's the wrestler. She went to University of Oregon. as an athlete. She was a tumbler at Oregon. Like whatever that is. What's her name, Mike? She does all the flips. They won. It's like, oh man, she's like the greatest female athlete wrestler I've ever seen. All the Flip she does, but it's all the time. It's just a little too much. Like, you can do some of it. I don't think you need it all the time. Because if you miss a couple and you're doing 20, it looks bad instead if you do six and hit them all. but she I think is the most dynamic female wrestler I've ever seen Kela or soul that's it
Starting point is 00:16:07 Sol Sol Sol Ruka yeah what is it Sol Ruka Sol Ruka there you go She went to Oregon she was like a track athlete But like to Oh yeah an acrobatics and tumbling team Yeah
Starting point is 00:16:20 And man she's awesome But again maybe it's just old me going I don't like all that flipping Don't hurry yourself Because it's nonstop It's like double flips off the turbuckle Where does she do it like In the ring
Starting point is 00:16:31 In the ring. Yeah, she does it if she's on the ground or she climbs to her. It's crazy. To go from the ring outside the ring. Yeah, some of them she does full flips onto the floor and hits me. Oh, that's too much.
Starting point is 00:16:41 Dude, it's crazy. That's like that was so much more fun when I was 17 didn't care about their bodies. But yeah, I thought the whole event itself was pretty good. John Cena tapped out at the end. He quit. Gunther tapped him submitted him. And I thought it was fine.
Starting point is 00:16:56 We all knew that he was going to lose because that's how wrestlers retire. They go out on their back. Oh, they never go out on top? not big ones. When they retire, they put someone over. And John Cena's always been the company guy. His whole thing throughout his whole career is, if somebody needs to be put over, I'll put him over. And yeah, he kind of looked at the camera, half smile as he was in like a sleeper and kind of smiled and then went and tapped out.
Starting point is 00:17:17 Wow. And the guy that made him tap out, is he like an up and coming guy that'll take over? I wouldn't say up and coming because he's 38. But he, they're trying to make him a bigger, better heel. And it's hard to be a heel nowadays because as soon as you get really really, cool being a hill, the people start to love you. Back in the day, if you were just a bad guy, people hated you. But now if you get really good at being a bad guy, people are like, that's cool. They start cheering for you. Who's an example of like back in the day, like the rock
Starting point is 00:17:43 days and stone cold when I would watch? As far as a heel goes. So a bad guy. But people would bounce back and forth. Like DX was bad. And then they were also good because they were the first guys that got so bad that people just started to like them. But like a heel would be way back in the day, Andre the Giant versus Hulk Hogan. Bad guy. Ravishing Rick Rood. Bad guy. Lex Luger had a big career as a bad guy. So,
Starting point is 00:18:09 a lot of heels. NWO, again, all bad guys, and then they got so cool that people started to like them. Right, the Wolfpack. Wolfpack was the red version of NWO. Really cool. I don't remember the Wolfpack. Remember this? But they were NWO, like, break off.
Starting point is 00:18:26 Yeah, I was like WWF. That's about it for me. Yeah, I thought it was pretty good. How'd you feel about him leaving his shoes and his wristbands at the end? After all that, I was like, okay, this feels a little corny. He's kind of a corny guy, though. He's very corny, yeah. But you can tell people really like him. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:41 Like, you could tell the wrestlers really had a true affection for him. Not just because they came out, but you could see, like, seeing him punk was like crying when talking about him. I feel like Bailey, who lost her match, by the way. It was a tag match, right? Was she in that Soul Rocket match? She lost. The whole, and I'll get off wrestling, but the whole John Cena
Starting point is 00:18:59 thing was this night his final match he wanted to bring up the kind of minor league guys in NXT and have them face big stars and like give all those new people a push. Oh, that's really cool. Yeah. So the first one was disqualification. That's kind of a stupid way to, it was Cody Rhodes. It's stupid. I hate that old trope of have somebody jump in the ring for disqualification.
Starting point is 00:19:18 Hate that. Then there was a winner of the new person and then a loser of the new people, those tag team guys lost. But they were both 21 years old and then AJ Styles was 48. Well, yeah, I thought it was overall, I liked it, thought it was good. It's probably what Sina wanted, but it did feel a little corny. Yeah, I was just expecting something a little bit more special. Even afterwards, when they're showing that package again of his career, I'm like, where's like the big pop?
Starting point is 00:19:43 Where's the big moment? Yeah, and they had wrestlers that weren't there that left videos. I still expected them to come out. Yeah, I thought somebody was going to come out. So, yeah, I guess Mike and, did you watch it? I did, and I saw Mike's story. Oh, really cool. On Instagram?
Starting point is 00:19:57 I was like, oh, that's cool. I thought you watched it too I mean I know a lot about wrestling just not the like right now What would you rate it Mike? I give it a 4.5 out of five jorts If there would have been one more
Starting point is 00:20:10 Surprise or thing at the end To kind of bring it all together Would have been better I agree with you And I thought the production was a little lackluster So I'm going to give a 4 out of 5 But John Sina has no sense of humor Which is crazy
Starting point is 00:20:21 Consider he's funny in movies He's an actor And TV shows But I feel like he's a really Liked guy Like I feel like those wrestlers really like him. I mean, he looked like it had another year in him. Oh, yeah. Pretty well. All right, so there's that. Let me see my notes here. The Chargers, when they beat the
Starting point is 00:20:39 Chiefs yesterday, which is terrible for us because we lost our playoff shot and we lost the money yesterday. But that was the third coldest game they'd ever played in the history of their franchise. How cold was it? I think it was like 18 or something. So like what we're doing here, we're dealing with here? Probably, but you have to think they're L.A., so half their games are already going to be. and a lot of those other teams West are going to be Arizona NFC or AFC are going to be most of those West teams
Starting point is 00:21:05 but it's the third coldest game ever So and then We should be doming everything, huh? Just doming. Unless you're known for your weather Like Buffalo, I don't think they should dome And they're not, they built a new stadium That's part of their identity Is the snow
Starting point is 00:21:19 Kansas City, same thing, I feel like Yeah, I think so too Cold, New England, same thing Because like Minnesota or Detroit Like when they go there It's always like, oh my God It's so cold. And then you watch the game like, oh, I forgot they're in a don't.
Starting point is 00:21:30 It doesn't matter. If it's part of their identity, I think you keep it outside. Yeah. But I would hate to play in one of those. Like Chicago or Green Bay. I would hate that. You know, it's funny yesterday I was watching the games at the same time. I was watching the Patriots and the Jags.
Starting point is 00:21:43 Patriots was snowing. And the Jacks looked like it was like July, sunny and 70 degrees. I was in Florida this weekend, dude. It was like 80 degrees. I'm watching the Jags game. Like, that's crazy because it's so cold here. homes out for the year he's going to miss part of next year too
Starting point is 00:22:00 probably you think they just restart I think well they're in such cat trouble right that I don't know how restarty they can do I think yes I do but what are they going to restart
Starting point is 00:22:14 well I'm saying it's almost like an overhaul yeah he's got to be done the only thing that would keep him to come back was my boy got hurt let's make one more run let's make a documentary one final run That'd be kind of cool. Two B comes on.
Starting point is 00:22:27 But I think you restructure Mahomes contract. I think that probably happens. And Chris Jones. I mean, I just think some new faces, maybe some overhaul a little bit. In theory, it sounds great, but then when you look at how they have to do it financially, it doesn't seem as easy.
Starting point is 00:22:41 I did save this image that I wanted to read to you guys. Tom Brady and starting NFL season 8, going for his fourth ring, loses in the Super Bowl. Patrick Mahomes, NFL season 8 of starting. Ghost for fourth ring, loses in the Super Bowl. Tom Brady in season 9, injures knee,
Starting point is 00:23:00 team misses playoffs. Patrick Mahomes, season 9, injures knee, team misses playoffs. Interesting. Exactly the same. Maybe that's the template. Exactly the same for the new goat. At least... The new goat, stop it, dude. They're on the same trajectory.
Starting point is 00:23:15 You can't say stop. They are literally on the same trajectory. Brady was we've won. The Chiefs weren't even going to make the playoffs anyways. How do we know that? No, if they would have won that game, much they were going to win that game. They were not going to make the play. They were at midfield just about to kick it. They were not going to make the ball off. Dude, all they had to do is kick it
Starting point is 00:23:30 and tie it up. They had 12% chance last week. No, they had 18. But if they, because I went through the calculator before the game, if they won every game, they were at like 52%. Same with the Cowboys, by the way. Yes, yes. The Cowboys still aren't out. We talked about the, I know, but they're out. Are they in for the division? Is that what it is? That's it. Oh, okay. So I saw the wild card they're out. If the Eagles, when I think any one of the last three, I think it's over. I mean, I think we're two and a half games behind the Eagles. Which would make sense.
Starting point is 00:23:58 So if they went all three. Do I live on that calculator? I just try, by that, I'm just trying to find ways that we can not lose our money. We're $6,000 in the hole. In case you all didn't know that. Yeah. Yeah, it was a crappy day. It was a crappy day of football.
Starting point is 00:24:14 No. What are you talking about? Oh, no, I get. I was so dejected. Oh, after the first round of games. Yeah. No, no, I get it. The Patriots.
Starting point is 00:24:21 Patriots. Luz. Yeah. Blue that game. It can't always be about us, though. I'm talking about. No, it's always about me in my life, how I feel. My feelings are extremely selfish because they're my feelings. Yes, of course.
Starting point is 00:24:32 I don't give a crap about the NFL as a league. I don't care how they go to their corporate office. Be like, what a week, boys, good week for the brand. I care about my team's winning a losing. I know. I'm just saying Philip Rivers coming back and two guys tearing their race. I mean, that's an eventful Sunday. I hope it was worth $6,000 to you.
Starting point is 00:24:47 It wasn't. It was definitely not. But a crappy day because two guys, two premier players toward their ACL. The holidays are heating up on pick six. Starting point is 00:27:46 I'm John Green. You may know me as the author of The Fultonar Stars, and now I guess also is the co-host of the Away End, a brand new world soccer podcast. I'm Daniel Alarcon, a writer in journalist. and John and I have known each other since we were kids. My first World Cup was Mexico 86. I was nine years old.
Starting point is 00:28:03 I watched every game and I fell in love. On our new podcast, The Away End, we'll share with you the magic of international football, all leading up to the 2026 World Cup. For us, soccer, football, is a story we've shared for over 30 years since Daniel was the star player on our high school soccer team.
Starting point is 00:28:21 Very debatable. And I was their most loyal and sometimes only fan. I love this game. I love its history, its hope, its heartbreak, and above all, its beauty. Together, we'll find out why, of all the unimportant things, football, soccer, is the most important. Listen to The Away End with Daniel Auerkone and John Green on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. You can have opinions. You can have like a strong stance. And then there's your body having its own program.
Starting point is 00:28:58 I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and hosts of the podcast, a slight change of plans, a show about who we are and who we become when life makes other plans. We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate these periods of turbulence and transformation. There is one finding that is consistent, and that is that our resilience rests on our relationships. I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change. We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes. Listen to a slight change of plans on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. When you listen to podcasts about AI and tech and the future of humanity, the hosts always act like they know what they're talking about and they are experts at everything.
Starting point is 00:29:52 Here, the Nick Dick and Poll show, we're not afraid to make mistakes. What Cougler did that I think was so unique. He's the writer-director. Who do you think he is? I don't know. You meet the president? You think Canada has a president? You think China has a president?
Starting point is 00:30:10 Those law a rouset. God, I love that thing. I use it all the time. I wrap it in a blanket and sing to it at night. It's like the old Polish saying, not my monkeys, not my circus. Yep. It was a good one.
Starting point is 00:30:25 I like that saying. It is an actual Polish saying. Yeah. It is an actual poland. Better version of Play Stupid Games, win stupid prizes. Yes. Which, by the way,
Starting point is 00:30:33 wasn't Taylor Swift who said that for the first time. I actually, I thought it was. I got that wrong. Listen to the Nick, Dick, and Poll show on the IHeart Radio app,
Starting point is 00:30:40 Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Man, I hate to say this. I thought Pavia kind of looked like a douchebag after the Heisman. Yeah, not a great look.
Starting point is 00:30:51 He did come out and apologize the next day. F the voters, when he went to the bar and got the sign that said F Indiana. It's all that. And he's flipping off the camera.
Starting point is 00:31:00 Yeah. Not a good look, man. Yeah, real bad. And I like Pavia, and he's been in here. I mean, heck, you sign that helmet right there. Yeah. Really immature look. A guy that's going to, he probably won't even get drafted anyway because of his size. But now it's like, that's a stain. Oh, yeah. You don't want that around. He'll be a CFL legend, maybe. He'll go somewhere as a, you know, unrestricted free agent. That's a bad look.
Starting point is 00:31:29 Yeah. I hated seeing it. Even, even... And you had a bunch of money on to win the highs. He finished second. Yeah, he did. He did. I thought it would be a little bit closer. It was still kind of close, but just even closer than that. But then walking through the red carpet with the two brothers, like that whole look. That was funny, man. I don't know. That was kind of like, all right.
Starting point is 00:31:44 What are we doing? I feel like the brothers are what gets them in trouble. Probably. They're bad influences. Yeah, I do. One, I got arrested during a game. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But what's funny, too, is like they almost acted like it was their awards.
Starting point is 00:31:56 You know, like, they're leading the way. I was like, I got it. It's my award. I'm here for me. I made two other notes. I wrote Arkansas wins because we had a really good basketball. ball won over Texas Tech, two top 20 teams playing, big win for us. We're down the whole
Starting point is 00:32:07 first half that we just put it away at the end and then I wrote because I went to bed the Cowboys win. You thought they won because... Well, because when I woke up, the article I read was Vikings eliminated from playoff contention, which they were, but they were eliminated after
Starting point is 00:32:24 they won based on the other teams. But all I saw was Vikings eliminated. I'm like, oh, Cowboys want to make my note. And then I happened to go over to ESPN and see that. I was like, what am I looking? And then it hit me. Nine goddess, dude. And he lost in every capacity.
Starting point is 00:32:38 Nine goddess. Yeah, how'd that happen? I don't know. I mean, I don't know. We couldn't score. I feel like it's almost like a repeat of when we're, when we fall behind like that, Dak's going to throw a pick,
Starting point is 00:32:53 which he almost threw another pick again. It's almost if you can't come back from like a seven point deficit or a 14 point deficit, like it's not. You have no. you're not going to make it anywhere. He chokes in those clutch moments every time. Which I hate to see, but that's just, it's been happening every week.
Starting point is 00:33:10 So whatever. Whatever, dude. Season's over. It's fine. The second year we haven't made the playoffs, whatever. What sucks worse? The fact that we owe $6,000 or the Cowboys aren't making the playoffs? I think the $6,000.
Starting point is 00:33:22 I'm going to say $6,000 because the Cowboys not making the playoffs. It's like, I can always fall back to it. It's the Cowboys. What do you expect? It could, as Eddie said, and I said, I don't think it could get $10,000 if we're not careful. There's nothing we can do dude. We're very careful. Nothing we can do.
Starting point is 00:33:39 Do you think Micah Parsons He's out? He's out. Effects 4N ACL? The Packers? And their wins? Did it affect the Cowboys whenever he left? Not really. As great as he is, he's still not the quarterback. Not true. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:56 Well, we'll move off. Because like my homes, I mean, Chiefs are done. Right? Didn't matter. They lost anyway. They're done. They won't make the playoffs. I think they still can win two out of the three. Yeah, they have a shot. Because they're going to play the Raiders and the Titans two, man, maybe the worst two teams in the NFL. The Raiders are, they are god-awful.
Starting point is 00:34:13 And I bet, yesterday I bet a thousand bucks on Jalen Hertz to throw for over 200 yards. I was like, this is the easiest prop ever. After the end of the third quarter, he's at 175. They took them out. Oh, my God. Oh, no. There's no early exit on that?
Starting point is 00:34:26 They took them out because they were killing them. So I lost $1,000 on that. I was like, oh, this is the easiest prop ever. There's no chance. I didn't even consider the fact they'd be beating them so bad they take them out. And the Raiders played Pickett, right?
Starting point is 00:34:38 They did. Yeah. They're bad. I think they want to be bad. Yeah. Why would you? I mean, the Titans had a little fight against 49ers for a second. I just saw it 24, 27.
Starting point is 00:34:48 So, little fight, they don't want to win, though. They shouldn't want to win. They're both fighting for that number one spot. And if they get it, they can trade out of it. I think it's the Giants, the Titans, and the Raiders are all three in contention
Starting point is 00:35:00 for that number one draft pick. And if the Giants, or the Titans get it, they'll trade out of it. So they're going to get all these picks because they both got a quarterback. If the Raiders get it, obviously they'll draft a quarterback. Yeah, rough day for your boys. Rough day for everyone. You see the story about Troy Eggman giving NIL money?
Starting point is 00:35:18 Yeah, yeah, too. UCLA? They say he's not doing it anymore? Yeah, because the player that he wrote the check to left the next year and didn't anybody think he was like no guarantee. He took the money and just like, I don't have to do anything. He's like, why would I do that? I didn't even get to thank you. and he left the next year
Starting point is 00:35:33 I feel you couldn't feel you anymore you read that and you're like yeah yeah I was like okay whatever I did tease this oh I guess we mentioned it a minute um
Starting point is 00:35:44 poll star the top touring artists of the millennium I got a couple lists I was like guessing lists I'll do top 20 here we'll go three times if you missed three you're out
Starting point is 00:35:56 touring artists of the moment I already saw it you did yeah that's nice of you so we won't do it like that then okay I got a different one we can do in a minute Eddie, who do you think is on the list? The Millennium is what?
Starting point is 00:36:06 Stupid question. Since 2000. Taylor Swift. Coldplay is one. Okay. Well, we did that on the show last week. Taylor Swift is five. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:21 Who else? Elton John? Yeah. Wait. Yeah, 10. Elton John, huh? You both music guys. You guys go back and forth.
Starting point is 00:36:30 Ed Shearin? Well, Eddie, don't jump. Ed Shearin. Ed Shearin's correct. Eddie, good job. Thank you. Cool. Brandon?
Starting point is 00:36:36 Justin Timberlake. Oh, I don't think he makes it. Okay. Nope, swinging a mess. Eddie. Bad bunny. You're looking down on the list. Look up the list.
Starting point is 00:36:48 Didn't make it. What? That's surprising. Huh. Okay. Brando? Drake? Drake did not make it.
Starting point is 00:37:00 Okay. Kendrick, I went on that tour. I saw him in Dallas. Yeah, you got to suck at this. Yeah, this is bad. So let me read this. Okay, good. It's probably better.
Starting point is 00:37:08 We're 25 years into the millennium, guys. So it's not going to be the last five or six. It's going to be people that have 25 years of touring for the most part. So I would say like Bad Bunny, he's probably, what, 34 or something? He didn't start when he's nine. If it's like last 10 years, he's probably in it. Okay. That's a good point.
Starting point is 00:37:24 Who's up? It doesn't matter. Go ahead. Rolling Stones. Yeah. I know they made it at 12. Brandon. Yes.
Starting point is 00:37:30 This is going to be my guess that I'm going to give right now. Uh-huh. You have nothing? Oh, I don't want to say this one because it's just that's horrible. Aerosmith, that's not on there. He choked. No, there's one country artist. I'm going to save the country artist.
Starting point is 00:37:48 In the top 20, in the top 20. Toby Keith makes it at 23. Okay, that makes it. Oh, that's the country artist? No, there's one in the top 20. That's not Toby Keith. All right, I'm going to save that one. I know that one.
Starting point is 00:37:56 I'm going to go with the Eagles. 17. Yes, I did it. I can't even think of anything right now. Go ahead, you go. He's skipping? Yeah. I can just read it.
Starting point is 00:38:11 It's Chesney. No. Luke Bryan. He said, oh. Luke Bryan's at 20. Tobi Key's a 23. Outside of the top 20. Cole play at 1, U2 at 2.
Starting point is 00:38:21 Ed Shearant at 3, Dave Matthews Band at 4. Taylor at 5. Bruce Springsteen at 6. Oh, you know what, Eddie? I missed 7. He's Kenny Chesney. Oh. That's on me, buddy.
Starting point is 00:38:28 There we go. I didn't see him. I could have kept playing. Yeah. Metallica, Bon Jovi, Elton, John, Pink, Rolling Stones, Beyonce, Andre Rue. I don't know that is.
Starting point is 00:38:36 Madonna, Guns and Roses, Eagles, Fish, Iron Maiden, and Luke Bryan. Oh, wow. Iron Maiden make the list. they're like worldwide man I thought you guys are at you two for sure yeah they're kind of yeah I didn't think Kevin they're stupid idiots
Starting point is 00:38:47 yeah they're lucky I didn't play that one so here I have here I have from world of statistics the all time worst people in history whoa I got number one
Starting point is 00:38:57 and I got well we gotta pick a number one through 50 Kevin 33 Brandon 427 Eddie
Starting point is 00:39:07 one it's seven so Eddie you'll go first nice all time worst people in history, Eddie? Give me Hitler. Number one, Hitler. Do I keep going to my miss?
Starting point is 00:39:17 No. Kevin, over to you. You get three misses, though. So you get to stay in. I was like, first got my list there. That's all you had. That's all I got out over there. Saddam Hussein. That's good.
Starting point is 00:39:32 Number 16, Saddam Hussein. You're in. Wow. Brandon. Trump? Trump did not make the list. Oh, okay. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:39:39 Brandon. Sorry everyone Let me make sure It's people voting So you don't know who they're going to put it on it It's Ranker So it's everybody just getting on the internet Oh
Starting point is 00:39:46 Are you gonna go with Obama? No What are you gonna do Osama Karin Laden Dang it that was my next one dude You help me with Who's saying

Starting point is 00:40:15 I know. Somewhere in there, yeah. Dang, dude. Italian? Who's the North Korean dictator? We can't tell you. I don't tell you. We can't tell you.
Starting point is 00:40:21 Kim, Kim Jong-un? No. What's your answer? Yeah. Kim Jong-un. Missed it. Incorrect. I'm not going to try that.
Starting point is 00:40:32 That would be it. Sean John Oom. John Oon. Oh, give me Joseph Stalin. Massacre. Joseph's Dahlin at 17. Okay. Kim Jong-un did not make it.
Starting point is 00:40:48 Okay. His father probably did. I can't think of the name off the top of my head, but it's Faraz Sadat. Is that close at all? I don't, no. I'm thinking of... Incorrect. Brandon.
Starting point is 00:41:07 Just because I'll watch something on this, Dick Cheney. What the... What? What? What? Dick Cheney. he did not make it. Eddie? What did Brandon say for North Korea?
Starting point is 00:41:17 Ken Jong-un. Okay, I'm going to say Kim Jong-un. No, you said what he said. No? No, you said un. That's okay, that's the same thing. On. On. No.
Starting point is 00:41:28 No. You're on the right track. I know, dude. I can't get it, though. You basically just had the same answer, different pronunciation. Yeah. King Henry the third. What do you do, man?
Starting point is 00:41:40 You just saying stuff? Yeah, he was like a dictator. I know. Brandon? Who's the Mongolian guy that killed like millions of people? Think Bill and Ted's. I know. Atila the Hun. That's not it. Attila the Hun, incorrect.
Starting point is 00:41:56 Yeah. And I think you've walked away winning this one. Nice, but I'm going to have victory lap. Go ahead. Christopher Columbus. No, although a terrible dude. I know. Okay.
Starting point is 00:42:06 Not in there. Does anybody have anybody else that want to try? Who's the Russian president now? Putin. Putin. Putin. Vladimir, Putin. Vladimir. So I'll read you some of the ones that you'll know. Okay.
Starting point is 00:42:16 By the way, Kim Jong-il would have been... Oh, really? Yeah, he's the dad. Ill? Oh, you're right, Brandon. Oh, wow. He said the dad. Yeah, oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:24 Kim Jong-il. Oh, Charles Manson's in there. Yep, sure is. Number 19, Charles Manson. That just came to me. So at number two, though, is Pol Pot. Yes. Anybody familiar?
Starting point is 00:42:37 Kevin? No. No. Murder. P-O-L. That's a good guess. Pull pot Yeah
Starting point is 00:42:45 P-O-L-P-O-T He was a Cambodian dictator And revolutionary who led Like 75 to 79 One of the worst genocides in the 20th century Dang, dude He created a communist society He believed cities
Starting point is 00:43:01 Intellectuals Were all enemies at the state So if you read, you were an enemy He estimated Killed 2 million people in four years Execution, Starvation Forced Labor Disease he's not number one
Starting point is 00:43:13 Hitler I mean yeah he killed a lot Mm-hmm What about Heimlich Himmler? Oh yeah yeah yeah Do you know anything about him? Yeah he choked people
Starting point is 00:43:23 Mm-hmm So the Himmler Doing the Himmler maneuver Is that what Himmler is that he said So they named it Because the opposite of what he did Because he just choked
Starting point is 00:43:35 crap out of people Yeah Yeah It's not Yeah So Heinrich Himmler was one of the most powerful and dangerous men in Nazi Germany. He was the chief architect of the Holocaust.
Starting point is 00:43:47 Bro. Yeah, so he was head of the SS, head of the Gestapo. He was second only to Hitler. Dang. So, yeah, Nazis coming in strong, two of the top three on the power rankings of terrible people. Kim Jong-il at three. So who's the son?
Starting point is 00:44:05 Oon. Oon. Yeah, Kim Jong-un. Right, Mike? Yeah, I thought so, but I've said that. Those words so many times, I'm not sure anymore. Kim Jong. May Zedong.
Starting point is 00:44:17 Or Mao Zedong. Oh, that sounds familiar. Founding leader of the People's Republic of China, ruling from 49 to 76. He makes the list. Hardcore communism. Let's see. Absolute power. I don't know, dude.
Starting point is 00:44:35 He just killed a bunch of people, too. Terrible. Let's see. Jim Jones makes it less another American. Yeah. Jim Jones, first American on the list, number eight. Wow. I'm thinking of the cult down in South America.
Starting point is 00:44:50 That's a crazy dynamitory. Tell him. Go ahead, if you wanted to tell him. Tell him. He had a religious cult moved everyone. They were being investigated in America, so he moved everyone to South America, build a whole commune down there. Jonestown.
Starting point is 00:45:05 Called it Jonestown. And then he told everyone once all the, I think some reporters came in to do a story on it, and he cooperated, but then once he knew that they were going to expose them, he told everyone like, hey, we're going to go see the Lord,
Starting point is 00:45:19 like right now, so let's just drink this Kool-Aid. Give them all poison. And they all just died. About a thousand people. Oh, my God. Did I get that right?
Starting point is 00:45:26 Yeah, pretty much. He moved everybody to South America, called it a socialist utopia, and then it actually wasn't Kool-Aid, which is what's crazy, it was Flavorade. That's right,
Starting point is 00:45:34 that's right. But still, Flavorade's a bootleg version of Kool-Aid. But we still say, drank the Kool-Aid. and a lot of the people didn't want to drink it. That's where it comes from. But they forced it like over 300 children.
Starting point is 00:45:46 Oh gosh. That's terrible, dude. Yeah, we can't say drink the flavor. And he killed himself? I think he was with them. I think he too drank the Kool-Aid. Do you say that in a way of like he drank the Kool-Aid? But yes, he did die the same day.
Starting point is 00:46:01 Yeah. Oh, and so not with them? No, no, he did. No, he shot himself. He didn't drink the Kool-A. I thought you meant like, drink the Kool-A like you said, this expression versus the literal. I thought he actually drank it.
Starting point is 00:46:11 He shot himself in the head. Wow. Let's see. Ted Bundy makes a list at 10. There it is. Yeah, we messed up. There it is. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:20 We were all so political. There it is. We were not. We didn't even think about murders. Right, I thought it was just like, serial killers. Yeah, I don't know why I wouldn't think that. Ted Bundy at 10, Ben Laden and 11. Do you guys ever watch a Ted Bundy docus series where you like escape prison?
Starting point is 00:46:33 Yeah, man. Can't watch that. Jeffrey Dahmer at 15. Yes, he doesn't know. He ate people. He had two other Americans on the list. One of them you got Charles Manson. Yep.
Starting point is 00:46:45 One above him at 18. Above Charles Manson? Oh, Timothy McVeigh? No. The Unabomber? Ted Kaczynski? No. Okay.
Starting point is 00:46:59 O.J.? Bill Belichick? Oh, Jared, the subway guy. No, that's a good one. That's a terrible, dude. John Wayne Gasey, the killer clown. Murdered at least 33 young men in the 70s. Dang.
Starting point is 00:47:12 Yeah. Seemingly normal guy, business owner, was active in local politics, volunteered as a clown at hospitals and parties. He was Pogo the clown was who he was. And he lured victims with job offers or alcohol. He assaulted, tortured, and killed them, buried 26 bodies in the cross space under his house. Others were dumped in the river. And they were all young men?
Starting point is 00:47:33 33 murders. He was executed by lethal injection in 1994. He confessed saying, they're my boys. He lived a double life. He was so respected out. and he was killing people. So that was the Last American? Last American at 19.
Starting point is 00:47:50 There's somebody at 20 who I don't know. Vlad 3 Dracula. Now, I didn't think Dracula was real. Is he a rapper? I don't think that's him either. Ram Stoker's Dracula? No, Vlad 3 Dracula. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:48:06 Let me see who this guy is. You're telling me Dracula's real? No, that's a vampire, dude. I know. Okay, here we go. Vlad 3. also knows Vlad the Impaler or Dracula was a 15th century ruler
Starting point is 00:48:18 of modern day Romania called Wallachia he's the real historical figure who inspired the fictional vampire Count Dracula born in 1431 he earned the nickname the Impaler because his preferred method of punishment
Starting point is 00:48:35 was impalement slow public and meant to terrify meaning he would just put off stuff and so okay I got it So Dracula, as we know, is a fictional character, but based off of this guy. Western Europe painted him as a sadistic monster. Romania today, he's seen as a national hero because he fought Ottoman expansion. He enforced law brutality, but effectively, I mean, if he broke the law, he left a gold cup in public square.
Starting point is 00:49:02 No one dared to steal it. Bram Stoker borrowed the name Dracula. Almost none of the vampire mythology comes from Vlad himself, but he did use, extreme violence as a political strategy. This probably happened with so much, so many leaders back then. Yeah. Were you thinking in Genghis Khan earlier? That's what I was thinking of. That dude killed 40 million people. Oh, he ruled the world. Yeah. Genghis Khan? Yeah, dude. He had thousands of kids, too. So, not a good dude? The worst.
Starting point is 00:49:32 I would say not a good dude if you're comparing them to how the standards people have today. Back then, you're just conquering everything. And so when you're conquering everything, you're killing everything. Yeah. I think, no, not a good dude if we're using our own societal standards of today. A feared dude back then, but, yeah, I mean, he was the founder of the Mongol Empire. Like, he owned everything. It was the largest land empire in probably history.
Starting point is 00:49:56 I need to look at that to see if that's true or not. But he just conquered. I mean, it's like war now. When you're conquering out, people are still killing all the time. Yep. Yep. So my neighbor has a dog named Genghis. Mm-hmm. Death toll, 30.
Starting point is 00:50:10 to 40 million, but erase complete cities. Wow. To take them over. Yeah, go ahead. Gengis the dog. Yeah, is that like naming him Hitler?
Starting point is 00:50:19 No. Okay. Because we didn't, nobody alive saw Genghis Khan. We have people now that were affected by Hitler. Sure. And also, Hitler was not,
Starting point is 00:50:30 I don't want to compare the two because I'll say something wrong and be canceled for it. But I would say Hitler is very, is a lot closer. I mean, to us that we, Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Modern day Europe, Germany, old people still alive, survived the freaking Holocaust.
Starting point is 00:50:47 Because we're cool with going to Mongolian restaurants. That's true. I'll do like Mongolian beef. Oh, so good. Barbecue. Barbecue. I don't like Nazi restaurants, though. Nope, don't go anymore.
Starting point is 00:50:56 Can't do it. So, Genghis Khan allowed religious freedom, protected trade routes, created laws against kidnapping and torture, united east and west more than you went before him. One and 200 men alive today probably are descendants because he just went everywhere. and conquered and had sex everybody and had kids. It kind of depends on the perspective. Like he conquered everywhere, but people today are still trying to conquer, and people are killing all the time.
Starting point is 00:51:20 But he was the goat conquer. He was brutal. They all were right. Back then. Yeah, that's the only thing. It was no mortality. That was the only way to win. Anyway, that's a fun game, huh?
Starting point is 00:51:36 That's fun. All time worst people in history game? Yeah, good list. Yeah, it's so exciting. I just see these lists and save them. I'm like, oh, this would be fun. Yeah, yeah. We'll see how it goes.

I'm Daniel Alarcon, a writer and journalist, and John and I have known each other since we were kids.
Starting point is 00:54:38 My first World Cup was Mexico 86. I was nine years old. every game and I fell in love. On our new podcast, The Away End, we'll share with you the magic of international football, all leading up to the 2026 World Cup. For us, soccer, football, is a story we've shared for over 30 years
Starting point is 00:54:56 since Daniel was the star player on our high school soccer team. Very debatable. And I was their most loyal and sometimes only fan. I love this game. I love its history, it's hope, it's heartbreak,
Starting point is 00:55:09 and above all, it's beauty. Together, we'll find out why, of all the unimportant things, football, soccer, is the most important. Listen to the away end with Daniel Alarcon and John Green on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. You can have opinions. You can have like a strong stance. And then there's your body having its own program. I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and hosts of the podcast, a slight change of plans.
Starting point is 00:55:42 a show about who we are and who we become when life makes other plans. This season of Math and Magic, I'm talking to CEO of Liquid Death, Mike Cessario, financier and public health advocate, Mike Milken, take two interactive CEO, Strauss-Zalning. Sesame Street CEO Sherry Weston and her own chief business officer, Lisa Coffey. Making consumers see the value of the human voice and to have that guaranteed human promise behind it really makes it rise to the top.
Starting point is 00:57:15 Listen to math and magic, stories from the frontiers and marketing on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Haley Seinfeld's pregnant. Yeah. Congratulations, Josh. That's why the Patriots let him win. Bro, that's a bad game. Yeah, needed one of those. I thought we might be able to pull it out at the end there, but allowing five touchdowns in a row, that was pretty embarrassing.
Starting point is 00:57:36 God, when you guys jumped, I was like, oh, Patriots are running. I know. I know. That sucks, man. Sorry. Then they puckered up a little bit. And what do you say? To be the man, you got to beat the man.
Starting point is 00:57:46 And they did not beat them. They did not beat the man. They beat them once earlier in the year, but they needed that one and they didn't do it. They need the Broncos to lose. Yeah. That sucked. We need that.
Starting point is 00:57:56 Again, back to our money league, we're down $6,000. We need that buy because that's a guarantee to win. That's $500. You don't play it, you just get the W. Yeah. You watch Frankenstein? I did.
Starting point is 00:58:06 Yeah. Because you guys have been talking it up. Loved it. So I did what you said where I was like, okay, I can't watch a two plus hour movie all in one sitting. It's too hard. nowadays. It's like, I'm going to get myself some time.
Starting point is 00:58:17 I watched, we can say this, chapter one, because it goes in chapters. Three chapters. Okay, three chapters. So I watch chapter one, and I don't know if I'm going to go back and watch chapter two and three. What the? So you're that kind of reader when you read a book? You just read one chapter. Well, first of all, I got to read a book to be that kind of reader.
Starting point is 00:58:36 You know read books? Not really, no. Not really or no. No, I mean, I'm on a book for about a year now. Because there's a difference in not really a no. Eddie's a no. I'm not a reader. Yeah, no, I don't. I go through my little phases.
Starting point is 00:58:51 I will say that, especially the last couple years. I've gone through phases where I'll go a month of doing it before bed and then I'll go six months without doing it. But would you read a whole book? Have you read a book in the last 12 months? Yes. Okay.
Starting point is 00:59:02 Then you're a kind of reader. Okay. Yeah. I'll take it. I know. Which is what you said. Yeah. But I'm not a kind of a kind of Frankenstein guy.
Starting point is 00:59:10 Yeah, I don't know. I just, I just feel like it drags a little bit. Yeah, I really liked it. Yeah, so did I. I'm super curious. Is it, how long is each chapter? This one was like an hour and ten?
Starting point is 00:59:22 45 minutes or stuff? Yeah. Okay. Hour? I feel like the first one's the longest and the other two kind of. I'm going to try it. We don't have to. No, I mean, I've heard you guys, a lot of people talk about.
Starting point is 00:59:33 I liked it. Eddie liked it. Mike liked it. I loved it. And I like those movies, the time pieces that you guys talk about and old school stuff. but it's I think it's cool I'm not much of a science guy
Starting point is 00:59:44 it's not okay yeah I mean it's not real it's not real science I mean he's kind of he's a scientist yeah
Starting point is 00:59:53 he's a scientist yeah okay why are you using that voice dude if you don't want to watch it don't watch it's okay no I'll probably finish it but
Starting point is 01:00:03 I don't know when okay that's a no I did watch the Channing roofman? That was good. That was good. That was good. Yeah, it's good. I like that one. My mom and my sister, they're like, it's fine. I'm like,
Starting point is 01:00:16 what are you talking about? I liked it more than fine. I liked it, but I didn't love it. You didn't just drive around, like, after watching the movie, and like, oh my God, every time you hear a siren, like, oh, man, he would be freaking out right now. No. Okay, I thought. Some of that stuff was a little over the top that they were portraying as real. Yeah, yeah, because you read about it. Yeah. But no, I liked it. I did. I recommend it. I get it four out of five roofs or something. Yeah. But I liked it. It's good. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:39 I get 4.5 bikes. We missed our parley. I missed all three. But that fit. We missed all three. Did I do all three? No, we all did. I figured I did.
Starting point is 01:00:48 I've been so off. I just figured I did all three. We lost every single one. Yeah. Thank you. Yeah, we suck. Before we go, you guys want to, if you have anything on your mind now, we can go around the room, anything in the whole sports world at all?
Starting point is 01:01:00 You can say whatever you want, Kevin? Yeah, no, I'm good, I think, actually. We talked about it all. I just hate football right now. Yeah, it sucks. At least Arkansas basketball is giving me a little something At least you have that It's pretty exciting
Starting point is 01:01:14 We're pretty good Gosh, what would be my at least? I think we're top 10 good And we're getting better We have two freshman point guards That's awesome Yeah so they won't be here next year Obviously but I think they're good
Starting point is 01:01:26 Oh did you see DJ Lagway is leaving No he's in the word Yeah Is that today? Yes This and now it's like Probably 20 minutes before we hopped on here Wow
Starting point is 01:01:35 I guess that makes sense new coach Yeah And Summerall's given a hundred grand to Tulane. It's all that to help with their program. That'll buy half a lineman. Hey man.
Starting point is 01:01:47 Whatever helps. Anyway, I guess I did have something to say. What about you? Oh, I just want to tell Philip Rivers thank you, just, you know, inspiring guys like us to just maybe, like he said in his post-game interview,
Starting point is 01:01:59 like maybe it was inspiration for people all over to be like, you know what, I can do something that I didn't think I could do. I really didn't think that watching them, though. But it was pretty cool, dude. I thought they were going to win the game. I thought they were going to win.
Starting point is 01:02:12 And I was like, wow, if Philip Rivers comes back from retirement as an old man and wins this game, that's the script is real. He played good considering what they're asking from him. Yeah, for sure. Dude, every time he got hit, though, I'm like, oh, that's it. His jersey was a little too clean and, like, new. It looked a little weird. And he's chunky. I couldn't tell him he was like a rip protector of this belt.
Starting point is 01:02:38 No, really, dude. I would say rip protector in pads, but he was walking around not in pads before the game. Yeah. And it wasn't a rip protector under his hood. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's true. Brandon, anything? My kids got an arm.
Starting point is 01:02:50 I know that's not direct sports, maybe future sports. He has two arms, right? Well, I mean, he can freaking throw. What? With both arms. Baseball, football. Train him to throw left. Yeah, that's a good point.
Starting point is 01:03:03 Is he a lefty or right? I don't know. Like, he writes with both hands. What? Are you ambidextrous? I kind of. Like, I write left-handed and eat left-handed, but I throw right and kick right. And you play guitar right?
Starting point is 01:03:17 And I play guitar right. Whoa. So I got that from you. But I don't think that's ambidextrous. You can do both. You can do both. You sound like you can do both. You have a version of it.
Starting point is 01:03:27 You do both. It's not the same thing. Oh, kind of, yeah. But it's weird. Like he, I'm like, oh, he's right-handed. One day I'm like, oh, definitely. And then the next thing I know he's like ripping a line dry. with his left hand, it's like, dude, let's go.
Starting point is 01:03:42 Okay, sports vocabulary. You don't rip drives with your hand. Oh, yeah, you do. If you're ripping a line drive, you'd be hitting the ball. You hit it with the bat. No, absolutely. That's what I meant. Yeah, nude sports.
Starting point is 01:03:53 It's okay, you'll get there. New disports, you'll get there, buddy. Mike, anything? What's going to go with the citrus bowl now with Michigan? Like, is that an instant win for us? Do they even care? Does anybody care about the balls? Is it weird to be excited about it at all?
Starting point is 01:04:05 Does Texas care about the bowl? I kind of care just because I have no. nothing else to look forward to. So many teams were turning down bowls. They've gone to a bunch of five-win teams to just play a ball. Yeah, the bowls are kind of dead. Yeah. I mean, the Music City, I think Tennessee's playing in it. Which is another reason
Starting point is 01:04:20 to expand the playoff, because they're losing all this money because nobody cares about bulls. Expand the playoff, at least you have other games. That people will actually watch. And they're so hard to bet, dude. These bulls are so hard to bet. It feels like preseason football betting. Yes. Just flip a coin. Yeah. It was a boring weekend in college not being able to bet on any games, you know? You didn't bet Army Navy?
Starting point is 01:04:37 I didn't bet anything. I literally bet not $1 all weekend because I just couldn't do it. Yeah, I bet a thousand bucks on Jalen Hertz go over 200 yards and they pulled them in the fourth quarter. I was like, this is the easiest prop line ever. I almost sent it to you guys, get in on this money. Get in there. That would have made my weekend worse, dude.
Starting point is 01:04:56 Oh my gosh, what a stupid, stupid weekend. Okay, thank you all. Hope you guys have a great rest of the day. We will see you later on this week. I think on the show Thursday we come back, not when we come back this week. we should have the Stanford head football coach on with us. That would be pretty good.
Starting point is 01:05:10 All right, Eddie Blount. Let's go. See you guys. We're down $6,000. Oh, my gosh. But I have a flamethrower. Yeah, flamethrower. All right, that's it.
