Let's go.
We did beat them in improv.
You had an improv against the team?
Yes.
We would pull up their schools would be there with signs for us.
It's competition.
What you would win is a bottle of gold shlogger.
James Fester threw it out of a van because he didn't want us drinking it.

What's up?
What's up?
Welcome to the show.
I want to say, first of all,
I want to punch Kevin right in the face.
What?
Whoa.
Do it now.
Do it.
Listen, I never punch anybody in the face,
and Kevin would have wot my butt.
Probably.
Not really.
I'm wiry, dude.
And I don't quit.
You guys have seen me to do some stuff.
Not even, like, fight.
I don't, but he's stronger than I am.
But I'm telling you, I got no quit.
Yeah, but you're the boss.
He's not going to punch you back.
No, no, I'm saying all that was off.
We were in a fight.
Yeah, he'd beat you up.
You seem like, I don't know about dirty, but you would just do some weird stuff.
Oh, for sure, weird stuff.
Yeah, like grab some weird area.
I'd grab, bite.
I would do anything to win, but that's been my whole career.
And in fighting, there are no rules.
That's fair.
I abide by rules.
I try to find ways around rules.
But listen, when it's time to dance, I win championships.
When it's time to be MVP in a softball game against other celebrities, I win championships.
When it's time to have the biggest radio show.
Got the bigot.
Like, I don't have a round.
What's the problem?
Why do you want to punch him?
Because he goes to a Cubs game and he says Wrigley Field's overrated,
which is so stupid because it's not trying to be rated.
It is the baseball mecca for someone who loves tradition,
for someone who loves teams that have sucked forever
and got good one year and then suck again.
You don't even need to like the Cubs.
When you go to Wrigley Field, it's a time warp.
Remember Super Mario Brothers?
bones, you'd go to like the little pipe
and then you end up in like level three.
That's what it's like walking into Wrigley.
So I just know he went, and by the way,
he went because Phil, who runs
all of our stations of Portland, we went up there
and did too much access with University of Oregon.
Check out the last episode.
I think Friday, the Coach Landing episode was up.
And so Phil hooks him up with like seats
behind one of the dugouts. Where were you? What side?
Yeah, third base side.
How many roads behind the dugout?
Two.
The greatest seats ever.
And then all I hear I'm overheard saying
Riggly Phil's overrated. Go ahead.
Yeah, shout out the Phil.
That was awesome.
Seats were great.
I'm saying it's overrated because you hear it for years.
I'm 33 years old.
For 33 years, I've heard great things.
Oh my gosh, Riggly this.
But what have you heard?
I don't think anybody brags about how easy it is to get around, how new it.
None of that.
No, none of that.
And I don't even like that.
I don't like the newer stadiums.
Go ahead.
Fenway is my favorite place, obviously, for the Red Sox.
But you just feel like this energy when you walk in Fenway.
I didn't feel any of that.
You're a Red Sox fan.
I didn't feel any of that.
That's your fan energy.
And, and, hey, and there is no green monster.
Man, there's nothing more aesthetically pleasing than that monster.
Okay, you're just being a fan.
The Ivy?
Yeah, it's okay.
Oh my God.
You're just being a fan and that's unfair.
I'm not being a hater.
I'm really not.
I like the Cubs.
I always have.
I respect them as a club.
Why would you?
Because it's just like a historic thing.
Yeah, we suck.
And there's nothing, like, do you hate the Red Sox?
Probably not, right?
I mean, when do we ever, you know, there's no rival.
I get annoyed at time.
Here's why I.
I kind of like the Red Sox more than I think I would,
is that I don't like the Yankees at all.
And the Yankees antithesis is the Red Sox.
So it's like the enemy of your enemy is your friend.
And so I kind of feel that I like Boston only because they hate the Yankees.
Okay.
So I don't have any.
But Fenway's cool.
We've been there.
It's great.
Is it the fans, though, you have a problem with?
No, no, not at all.
I have a Red Sox hat on right now.
As a matter of fact, while he's in here.
I have a lot of respect for the fans, actually,
because they're not very good this year.
But every seat was taken in that stadium that day.
That's awesome.
Which is great.
I have a lot of respect to that.
So what's overrated about it?
That you're not a fan?
This is what I think.
I think it's been built up for so long in my head
that I've heard these stories
and how great it is and this and that,
that it was almost you can't even get to that level.
Okay.
Fair.
I think some things are overhyped so much.
It's impossible to actually receive
what the hype is promising you.
The thing about Wrigley, though,
I think you're taking some random bad hype.
It's never been nice or fun
as far as like how comfortable.
it is, but the whole point of it is it's been there forever.
Yeah.
And they have changed, even since I've been last.
There have been some small changes, aesthetic changes.
The bleachers are different.
But comparing it to Boston, I think, is fair, but you have to acknowledge you're a Red Sox fan, and that's the only reason you feel that way.
I get that, but like Bush Stadium.
It's nothing compared to Riggling.
It's much easier.
It's nice.
Yeah, it's nicer.
It's way nicer.
But you're talking about history.
Bush has had three Bush stadiums.
Even, you guys didn't really love this one.
Petco Park in San Diego.
What the backdrop?
The scenery in Petco Park, I think gives it more of an aura than Riggily did.
Okay, so you are a poser fan, basically.
Why?
Because you'd rather go swim out in the ocean.
No, no, no.
No, I just think the expectations were, they just,
there's no way it was going to be met.
Like, I think Soldier Field was better than Wrigley.
You're out of your mind, too.
I've never been there.
Dude, Soldier Field is awesome.
Okay, I'm not even arguing the two.
You're a Boston Red Sox fan.
You felt threatened because this place challenged that place as like the only two real Yankee Stadium's new.
Yeah, no more.
It's the only one that challenged it, so you felt you wanted to come on the show and to grade that.
So, okay.
Hey, I like the Cubs, man.
Shout up to their fans.
They're real fans.
But I'm just saying.
That's a little bratty too.
He got free tickets and everything.
That's why I started a date.
Thanks, Phil.
Phil, you're the man.
If I go again?
I don't know.
I'll go again, but I'm just saying.
No, you're not going anymore.
What's the different? Have you been to a night game and a day game? Maybe it was a day game thing?
I don't know. The day game's the best, right? You're just a hater.
You're just a hater.
NFL comeback player of the year odds.
So what I do, here's what I think we should stop doing with the NFL player, a comeback player of the year.
And I'm glad he didn't win. I don't think if you just come back from death, you should win a comeback player of the year.
And DeMarne Hamlin didn't win, right? No. Joe Flacco did.
That's crazy. Right?
Baker?
Joe.
Ooh.
It's a good question, but I remember DeMarne Hamlin did not win. He was like second, but it was a second, but it was a
a big debate.
He literally died.
But we're not coming back from death.
You should.
That's the ultimate.
No, but it's not.
It's Flacco.
It was Flacco.
Okay.
So Flacco comes back, who's not even in the league yet.
I wonder if he'll sit around and...
I know.
Same thing last year.
Wait for the call.
He gets a comeback player of the year and then doesn't even play the next year because nobody wants him.
He's like you, dude.
Stay ready.
He always got to get ready.
He does stay ready.
Remember that flight?
He was like on a Southwest flight or something, flying to the team when they called him in.
He was like putting his stuff in the overhead.
Crazy.
Which I'm surprised I didn't send a plane to get him
Yeah
Like send the team charter
Or a small plane by the owner to pick up their
What's about to be their quarterback
All that to say
The NFL comeback player of the year odds
Have been released
Eddie you haven't seen these
I don't think so who do you think is up
Based on nobody almost died
So I'm glad that's gone
I don't even think DeMarne Hamlin should have been considered
Unless he would have come back and had
An amazing season where he was like
in the conversation for one of the defense player of the year awards.
I don't think the comeback is just living.
Almost die, and then you come back and play the game that almost killed you?
No, I think that's a great comeback.
That's like an ESPN, come back to life player of the year.
I don't know.
It's not the NFL.
It's not the NFL.
The DeMarie Hamelin Award.
Who do you think is even on the list here, somebody who last year fell off, was injured,
and we're expecting a big comeback?
The first one should be pretty easy.
Aaron Rogers.
Yeah, he's the favorite.
That plus 125, you played four snaps last year.
That was tough, man.
That's tough.
I remember watching the game?
And we're like, are you kidding?
It was like some bizarro world.
Because there was so much talk about Aaron Rogers.
And the Jets were one of the five or six favorites last year.
They were the HBO was called Hard Knocks.
They've been done.
Joe Burroughs at number two.
And I keep watching all these guys on TikTok.
And they're like, here are my fantasy.
whatever. If healthy,
Joe Burrow, but you can say that about anybody.
You have to say that you should not be able to say if healthy
in any sort of description when you're telling somebody who to bet on
or who to pick in fantasy, because that's the rule with everybody.
Derek Henry, if healthy, is going to kill it in Baltimore.
So I get annoyed of people who do that.
But Joe Burrow was hurt twice last year.
Remember in camp and he like hurts his leg?
Yeah.
And then again, he like, his hand wrist situation.
Yeah.
So Burroughs a plus 300.
But they also played pretty well.
at the end of the season with their backup quarterback.
Who was that?
Somebody with like the same...
Wasn't the Washington quarterback from back in...
No.
It was like somebody that had alliteration in their name.
It was like Benny Blanco.
Benny Blanco.
It wasn't him. He's an artist guy.
But Mike Deafield let me know that.
Number three is Kirk Cousins,
which is interesting coming off the...
Yeah.
And that injury looks to be the...
Our friend of Maude tore his Achilles.
Just stepping off a curb.
And it put him out for a year.
that Achilles injury looks like it would be the worst.
Do you know why they call it the Achilles heel?
I don't know, no.
So is it some Greek god?
Yes, Achilles was invincible because his mom put him in the water,
except the only place she could hold him was on his heel,
why she dipped him in the water.
And that was the part that was vulnerable and shot him on his heel, killed him.
I almost tore my Achilles, not playing any sports, though.
We were playing hide-and-seek at a friend's house.
And I was under the bed.
It was, well, you know, in the bottom of the bed, you know how they have wheels on them?
And there was, like, a metal thing sticking out, dude.
And as soon as I got up to run, it ripped right on my Achilles.
And the doctor said it was, like, a centimeter away from my Achilles.
Would have ripped it all.
So it didn't tear your Achilles at all just next to it.
Just the skin and everything right by it.
Anthony Richardson, I mean, he was, for fantasy, he was killing.
I had him as my second quarterback last year.
I was like, I'm about to trade my first quarterback.
He's going to be the greatest year ever.
To be fair, I still won the league.
You did.
I did, thank you.
But he's a plus 600.
Nick Chubb, bad loss for the Browns last year.
Plus 850.
Daniel Jones, well, just because he sucked mostly.
Was he injured?
Yeah, he was, right?
He was because Tommy Spaghetti played a little bit.
Evido, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But he, like, he cost the Giants so much money.
Yeah. This has got to be it for him.
That whole staff could lose their job if they don't have a good year this year,
with Hard Knocks, where the owner wanted to keep Sequin.
Oh, yeah.
But he's like, I'm going to let you guys do your thing.
Are you watching that?
No, I just see Cleps on TikTok.
And Seekwant was like, you know how I feel.
So what is this pre-season hard knocks?
Yes, exactly what it is.
It's off-season.
Sam Darnold, plus $2,500.
And Sam Darnold was the backup of San Francisco last year.
He was starting for the Vikings.
And if he does well, that's just a comeback player.
That's not a comeback from injury.
Just comeback of your career.
like, yeah, you're a backup, you get another shot at it.
Like a baker.
Yeah.
Right.
Kyler Murray plus 2,500.
Now, that is coming off an injury.
Because he was hurt, and he played a little bit at the end of year last year.
Mike, what do you have?
I can't find it.
The Bengals quarterback last year won all those games?
I bet you his name had alliteration.
It was a, like Benny Brown?
Benny Blanco, but not.
Jake Browning.
Okay, well, none.
I knew there was a B, though.
I was over here looking for alliteration.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Jake Browning.
Okay.
So, Kirk Cousins probably has a great year.
I think this is your Kyle Pitts-Dut.
Oh, you want Kyle Pitts to go.
I do.
You want him really well.
I've drafted him every year in fantasy.
I've got like rookie cards galore.
Apparently he's playing wide receiver now too.
I mean, at Florida, that's basically what he played.
Right.
I mean, he was a tied-in for sure.
But he was split out as much as he was, anything else.
But Kirk Cousins, to me, I think that's who I'll bet in this comeback player of the year.
Because if he's really healthy, I think Atlanta's going to have a really good seat.
Look at who they, look at their division.
Yeah.
like who's going to really press them in their division?
Baker?
Yeah.
I mean,
the Panthers will be a little better,
but Vegas has them as a least amount of wins on the over-under.
The Saints,
no idea what they're going to be.
No idea.
I mean, Carr,
he's good sometimes,
but I think I'm going to take Kirk Cousins at plus 500.
I have the Cowboys to win the whole Super Bowl.
Yes, let's go, baby.
Oh, man.
What about Anthony Richardson?
Are you excited to kind of see?
Because he really was on a role,
and I don't know.
Yes.
however he was hurt
probably mostly because of his style
but his style also is what made him
so dynamic so it is that
can you still play your
style which made him so dynamic and difficult
because I mean he was going head first
to players
but that's what made him special and good
but can he still be special and good
without doing what's always made him special and good
is there a hybrid there
I think that is interesting
and I also think watching these freaking kick returns
that's going to be crazy
who's going to kick off
Like the chiefs are going to have
Who's the safety?
Justin Reed. Justin Reed's going to do their kickoffs.
Because that person's got to be a tackler now.
Because the linemen, they're 10 yards from each other.
That's going to be wild.
So comeback player of the year.
I'm taking Kirk Cousins.
I'm going to put 20 bucks on that right now.
And I'm going to be rich.
I'm being rich.
Hey, why do you hate Justin Rose so much, Eddie?
Because he cost me $200.
Oh, it's a money thing.
Oh.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, dude, look, I saw him on Friday.
I think he had got a good start
after his Thursday round
and he was 40 to 1 on Friday. I'm like, this is amazing.
I got to bet on this guy. And I've always
liked Justin Rose. He's just that sneaky, good
golfer who's just always kind of tinkering the top
25. And dude, he was
so close, got second place
in the open, but now I couldn't catch
Zander. Zander's won two majors now.
In a row. Crazy. Back to back.
Yeah. Good for him because he couldn't win one forever.
Didn't Bryson win the last one? No.
No, he didn't win back to back.
He won a good catch. Good catch.
My bad.
Yeah,
Vizander was always the guy who could not win it.
He was the new Phil.
The Phil Mickelson,
who was like,
is he ever going to win one?
And good for him,
you know,
because he was one of the ones
to stay back in the PGA.
And I think it's a big cop-out
for the PGA guys
because half of their competition
went to live.
And so if him,
Sheffler and...
Rory,
Rory, like,
those are kind of the three dudes
that always kind of
consistently win tournaments
in the PGA.
And for him to go in the open
when everyone's on the field
and win,
it, it says a lot.
I'm sorry that happened, buddy, too.
Ah, screw Justin Rose.
Oh.
I mean, he probably is unhappy with him.
He wasn't, though, and that's the thing.
Like, he's such a good guy that he was
happy for Zander. But I think
with a three-stroke lead, he kind of
knew that he wasn't going to win anyway.
So, like, he was smiling and hugging Zander
and excited for him. So.
You did win in the lottery, though. I followed your
Instagram. How crazy was that?
Eddie found two tickets. No, no, no, no. No, no. They were
eight tickets. Oh, I only saw the two on your
on your page. Yeah, I showed the eight, but
out of the eight, there were two winners.
That's the two I watched you do.
Dude, it was crazy. Like, I saw the tickets there on the ground,
and I'm like, there's no way that someone threw away these tickets, and they're winners, right?
Did you see him? So, first he did it to be continued on the first one?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I learned from the best.
And I commented, I was like, that's such a dirty Bobby Bone Show move.
Like, he tells the whole story, like, I got two winners, didn't scratch the money underneath
them, and then it's to be continued, and I was like, got me.
But what's dumb, though, is people are like, you know, this isn't real.
promise this is 100% real that I just felt like picking up the tickets. And how could there be two
winners in a pile of trash? So somebody bought eight tickets and they fell out of their hand or something?
Dude, no, they scratched them all. And they didn't look at it. They scratched all the numbers.
They thought no winners. I thought you would scratch those before because... Nope. They were all
scratched. And I just kind of double-checked them. I looked up. I would never do that. That's the garbage.
He got in the garbage for lottery tickets. And there were two winners of the eight, though.
Yeah. Do you know how much you want? No, how much was it?
five bucks.
I thought it was $1.
Like a free ticket.
So I got, it was $3 on one ticket.
So one, one, one.
Oh, plus the two they spent on it?
Plus the $2 ticket.
Which you didn't spend, so that is $5.
But check it out.
It's not over.
And that's a free ticket one?
I got new tickets.
Do you want you think it's a sign, though?
Like God put those lottery tickets there and said, hey, you need $50,000.
But what if God put those lottery tickets there for somebody else and you picked them up.
Yeah.
And you got no.
I don't think about that.
You can always take it manipulate what signs are.
No, then God would throw lightning on me while I was trying to pick him up or something.
You think that's what God would do?
It's not focused on the tickets.
I think he laid on there and was like, this will happen to the right person.
So we need to scratch these.
All right.
Let's, uh, to be.
Hey, to be continued.
Okay.
To be continued.
Let's do the tittle title.
Here we go.
All right.
With the summer Olympics kicking off this week, if you could win gold in any event, what would it be?
I don't feel like the basketball goal.
I know this one's going to be tough, especially we almost lost to South Sudan, which was wild.
Basketball dude?
Yeah, we'll talk about it.
South Sudan.
Dude, it's crazy.
And the game didn't count yet because we're not in Paris.
However, what's the most famous Olympic sport?
Like, I think about Michael Phelps,
but it wasn't because of a single event.
I think it would be the 100, the 200,
whatever the fastest man alive is.
That's the one single event that I think I would pick in track
because that single event makes somebody famous and rich for a while.
Where swimming, there's not one event.
We knew Phelps because he won all the medals.
And then baseball, they don't have a sport anymore.
Football America, that ain't even really an international thing.
Flag football?
Oh, yeah.
Oh, they're doing that, aren't they?
Yeah.
No.
That was quick.
They'd laugh at me.
Hey, check out my flag football medal.
You okay.
Golf?
I think I'm going to go with the fastest man alive.
That would be the sport I would want the gold in because that is prestigious.
Or badminton.
That's not prestigious.
Wait until a pickleball comes.
Oh, that's a you for sure.
Yeah, but what if you had tell somebody like, I want golden bad
admitting. That would be cool to have a gold medal. I've seen a couple.
It doesn't matter what it is. If you had that gold medal,
they'd love you for it. Correct.
I think it matters what it is if you want to make a lot
of money from it. Right. That's different. But anybody has
it, yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, next.
All right, do you think Team USA's narrow win over South Sudan
is a cause for concern or nothing at all?
I don't know what had happened. I didn't even watch
the first part of the game. I only was
flipping through TikTok and somebody had it up
streaming it on their TikTok, like had their
phone on it. And I was like, are we really
at half, if I'm correct, we were down.
big time. We were down
one point with like 12 or 13 seconds left
and LeBron had to hit a game winning layup
with a few seconds left to win the game.
I was watching the South Sudan guys be interviewed
and it was the... They won the game.
They were like, this is crazy. One of the guys said, we don't even have an indoor
basketball court. Who's on the team? Anyone we know?
Like, is there any NBA player? I don't know.
The people I saw interviewed, I didn't know them.
Yeah, LeBron had to...
It says LeBron's game winning shot, but it was
a layup. So I guess it's a shot.
But they won
by I think
one
or we won by one
but we were over a 40 point favorite
I did not watch
the first half of the game
I caught it through TikTok
but yeah
why we should be able to take
four of our guys
and beat five of their guys
this is it's wild
I don't know the answer
and maybe they're just dicking around
playing everybody's playing
with the wrong hand
trying to get ready
so everybody's left-handed
except for the left-handed people
yeah what are they doing right now
are they just warming up
I don't know
the fact of South Sudan
scored over 100 points
on. We did,
Kauai did, you know,
step aside for whatever reason, and we did
bring in your boy Brown.
White. Oh, that's right.
Jaylen Brown got screwed. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's right. But they needed a point guard, that's why.
But Kauai wasn't a point guard.
But I thought they were bringing in somebody that would play defense.
Well, Derek White, all the defensive team, too.
Same with Jaylen Brown.
I don't know. I don't know the answer to this. I couldn't believe it.
We should be able to beat him with four people and me.
I should be able to be the fifth guy and we should win that again.
All right, next.
Following the announcement of Alabama naming their field after Nick Saban,
what would you name Arkansas football field?
Oh, easy.
I mean, what are you thinking about?
Oh, real name or fake name?
Interesting.
Well, if the rules are,
it has to be named after someone that has been instrumental in the program.
I think that makes it different than naming it Bobby Field.
Right.
Right.
Because, I mean, that would be like my dream would be, sure, it's Bobby Field.
But Bobby Bonesfield, Bobby Field.
Bobby Real Name Field.
I don't know.
One of the three?
Probably, I don't know.
But I wouldn't name it after me.
What?
That's what I...
I'm going to answer this legitimately.
And there are two options here.
And I'll go over...
I mean, Reed's from Arkansas,
but Reed's not really a fan.
You are a fan, but you're not like diehard.
Yeah.
I agree.
Where Katie is...
Exactly.
I have two people in my head.
Who would you name it after?
In recent years?
It can be one of...
ever.
Because I have two folks, I don't want to say them.
I want to see if we're on the same page here.
Who would you name the Arkansas football field after?
The Petrino.
I'm just kidding.
Oh, wow.
Petrino motorcycle field.
The Patrino Phil.
I was going to say if you went after your name,
you could name it like the Bone Yard or something like that.
They were nicknamed in the field.
The Bone Yard.
I would say, after Jerry Jones.
Oh, that would be legit.
Because he's obviously given a lot of money.
We'll continue to give money forever.
The field's named after him.
He played for the last Arkansas Razor Bike National Championship team.
So the Jerry Jones Field
makes a lot of sense.
Or if you're going to go old old school, you go with Frank Broyles,
who was head football coach for a long time,
and then the athletic director through all of that.
But probably, I'd still go with Bobby Bonesville.
They are renaming it in the next year or so, I think.
Are they selling it or are they just naming it?
I think maybe both.
I think they're just kind of.
The field or the stadium?
So the stadium for us is Reynolds, Donald W. Reynolds.
And that's because they donated a bunch of money.
Is that anyone famous?
Donald of Reynolds, yeah.
Yeah.
You won the shot put.
I have no idea.
I'm a rich people.
All right, what else you got?
Last one here.
We talked about Daniel Jones a little bit coming back.
What is your confidence in him leading the team back to the playoffs?
Oh, man, none.
That sucks.
I mean, does anyone have confidence?
None because, well, they have Malik Nehers, a wide receiver.
Yeah.
And then who do they have running the, they downgraded a running back.
They got a rookie at wide receiver who, and Daniel Jones, I liked him.
but I just can't see them winning games with him
especially
I mean in that division too
where everybody supposedly gotten better
the Cowboys had gotten better
the commanders I don't even know what to expect
they may actually be pretty good this year
and the Eagles are really good
so it's like it's a combination of all things
that division they have to play
each of those three teams twice
and I think of all four quarterbacks
that's the one I'd like to have the least
even though the commanders have a rookie quarterback.
So I have,
and he's coming off an ACL tear,
which, by the way,
doesn't scare me so much
if it were somebody really good.
Did you watch Patrick Mahomes
and Xavier Worthy in practice?
They're going to be, it's over.
It's Tyreek part two.
Why, they look really good.
You can't catch them.
You can't catch Worthy.
Oh, boy.
Mahomes are rolling opposite way.
Takes chunks, just chunks.
Boom.
I mean, obviously that's the clip they should
But it was
And there's no defense there
And he is the yeah, yeah, their defense
It's not like Madden when you pick no defense
Even no one's really like covering him
That's not true
They're trying to get their spot
Yeah, they're gonna be tough
No, I think the Giants will finish
And dead last
And that's behind the commanders
Who were awful last year
All right, that is the tittle tattle, thank you
Stupidest name ever
We'll take a quick break
We'll come back

What would that look like in our families if everyone was able to pass on wealth to the people when they're no longer here?
We break down budgeting, financial discipline, and how to build real wealth, starting with the mindset shifts.
Too many of us were never, ever taught.
Financial education is not always about like, I'm going to get rich.
That's great.
It's about creating an atmosphere for you to be able to take care of yourself and leave a strong financial legacy for your family.
If you've ever felt you didn't get the memo on money, this conversation is for you to hear more.

I'm Daniel Jeremiah.
Rosenthal. And this is 40s and free agents. The games may be over, but the NFL never stopped. This is my
favorite part of the calendar. Yeah, mine too, Greg, free agency, the combine, the NFL draft pro days,
trades. This is where teams reshape their future. This is where Daniel Jeremiah makes his money.
On 40s and free agents, we break down every move that actually matters. From my draft evaluations,
mock drafts, and team fits to my top 101 free agents and how real rosters are built,
cap space, contracts, and all the tough decisions included.
You got quarterbacks on the move?
We got teams rebuilding.
It's hope season.
Yeah, absolutely.
It's hope season.
We'll tell you what's real, what's noise, and what it means for your favorite team.
Smart analysis, real conversations every week.
I don't know about the smart, but definitely analysis.
Listen to 40s and free agents on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
On one of the episodes last week, I'd mentioned I was auctioning in an auction for something.
And we didn't say what it is because we don't want people to jump in and steal it from me because it had been hilarious.
Someone had stolen it from me.
And what it was, the pitching rubber from the All-Star game that I played in, the Celebrity All-Star game, they were auctioning that off.
And I just thought that would be hilarious if somebody jacked it from me.
I wouldn't like it, but that'd be funny.
That's like some crap I would do.
But you were the pitcher, so it's extra specialty.
Correct.
So I did get it.
I did it win it.
Nice.
But I'm surprised anybody bid on it.
Like, who would want the hat, garbage?
It's literally a pitchers rubber from a celebrity softball game where they were, you know,
I got it for $200 and $10 shipping.
And so I don't even know what I'm going to do with it.
I plan on framing my jersey, which will be cool,
but I asked them if they had like another one, not of mine, just a general one,
because the difficult thing about framing a jersey is you only see the name in the back.
And a lot of the cool stuff on a jersey is the front.
Yeah.
So what I've started to do is at my house of some really cool ones,
I cut them in half basketball jerseys.
So I take a hockey frame
because the hockey frames are the biggest
because those jerseys are monsters
and then I take the two basketball jerseys
that I've cut in half and you see the back in the front.
Luckily, my Oklahoma State softball jersey,
they have the name on the front and Oklahoma State.
So I frame that one, that's cool.
I've got a Titans one with my name on it,
but it's like too...
You can't see the front.
And like just see in the back.
And so with this, I wanted a blank
one from the All-Star game, but they didn't make any extras.
So now, I guess I put the rubber in there with my jersey name.
You know what you can do?
I just don't like the picture.
When people have pictures under them.
You can DMTO or DES and be like, hey, man, you still have your jersey?
Well, I didn't.
It's not the same number, though.
Ah, that's a good point.
Because you get to pick your number one, obvious.
Because you're number one.
Yeah, so I do have the pictures rubber.
People were asking me, though, like they said, hey, you never really talked about it.
I guess we didn't.
We talked about it and did the episode, and then never really went back to it
because our other episodes have been on the road.
What do we need to talk about?
I don't know.
I won.
It was awesome.
You were on a heater.
I remember telling Eddie and even texting my wife,
I was like, man, if I don't start, I'd be so embarrassed.
Like, I just wanted to play.
And a lot of these things,
whenever it's quote, unquote, celebrity, anything,
you get there and everybody's kind of measuring each other out.
Not at how famous they are, but how dushy they are.
And so nobody knows each other.
It's not like a celebrity softball game here where everybody knows everybody.
We all live in the same town, basically.
None of us knew each other.
And there was definitely really famous people,
which I would put up the top of that list,
like T.O. Des, Dionne Sanders, even Tiffany Haddish, like people.
And then there's like me.
And so there's a wide range and all aren't equal when it comes to a celebrity world.
So you're all kind of saying, oh, what's this person?
And so the first hour or so.
And they were like, get there at 4 o'clock.
And I'm like, great, we'll get there at 4.
Batting practice, 4.30, get on the field.
We didn't believe the place to like almost 7.
Yeah.
And then you took BP like three times.
Yeah, yeah. At first, I didn't know anybody.
So I just kept taking batting practice.
Since I didn't know anybody.
That's all I did.
I was like, I guess I'll just take more batting practice.
Stay busy.
And so, but batting practice was inside like the city center.
Like a ballroom.
Where they had built a cage net.
And I was like, sure, we'll just keep going.
and so I took batting practice many, many times
and we would slowly start to meet people
and again
you wouldn't even know if they were a celebrity or not
because we didn't have jerseys yet
and it wasn't until we put the jerseys on
that some people were like, oh, you're playing,
who are you? What do you do?
And everybody ended up being really nice
and it was super cool and we go out
and I can see me, when I hit that first ball
and it goes up the middle and outfielder,
it wasn't an error
because he never got to the ball, which is what was great.
Because it went under, through the legs,
that just wouldn't have been considered a home run.
Yeah.
That was definitely, he tried to dive for it, missed a dive.
It was a weak home run as far as in the park.
It wasn't, like, Kane Brown, Jack's.
That was over the fence.
Yes.
Yeah, yeah.
But I can see me in my highlight video, my legs, my tendonitis.
Between second and third base, I see me kind of know I'm going to go,
but like hurt big time.
I was going, like, tiddling my feet like a cartoon.
We didn't see that.
What we did notice was when you were, I think you, at one point you played center field, right?
And when you were running out there, you were kind of like limping a little bit.
And then we were all looked at each other like, oh my gosh, hope he didn't hurt himself.
I have to keep my feet flex, that tendonitis kills my leg.
But I could see me, right on the announcer and Dion go, he's got wheels.
You see me pull up 10 percent.
One, because I thought I was going to make it anyway.
And then two of my feet were killing me.
It's that tendon that goes up in middle of the foot and beside the shin.
And I have tendonitis and both of those.
and I haven't figured how to work them out yet
because tendonitis takes forever.
I got to get blood flow back in.
When I went up, I just wanted to hit it on the ground.
First of all, I was happy to start.
I was like, yes, I'm starting,
because some people didn't start.
Four people didn't get to start.
There were 13 players on our team.
Were you at the end of the lineup?
I was 13th batting.
Out of...
13.
Yeah, yeah.
To be fair, though, what was good was other major...
I'm not saying me major,
but there were other people that were major stars
were like 12th and 11th.
Yeah, you were right behind them deads,
weren't you?
Yeah, yes.
So I don't know what their formula was for putting us in order.
It worked.
But I was 13th and I was like, that sucks.
But I was pitching inning one, playing centerfield, inning two, playing first base.
This is on the graph.
Inning three.
Back to pitch, inning four.
Ending five, I was out of the game.
It's a five inning game.
So that last inning I was going to sit.
We go out and I pitch the first inning and it goes pretty well.
Nothing crazy.
I go out and I play centerfield the second inning.
my legs were killing me, but I didn't say anything about it.
I'm not going to act injured because they'll pull me out of the game.
And they hit me one ball that I was tracking pretty good.
And I'm about to get to it in center field.
And Des, it cuts right in front of me and catches it.
Glad we caught it, didn't care.
And then the third inning, I go and Dion says to everybody,
hey, we're two, we're up, and it's two innings.
Bobby, you go back to pitch, and you're pitching the whole game.
Whoever's pitching. Deion says this, you're not taking Bobby out of the game.
Figure out wherever else you're going to go.
And I'm like, oh my God, that's the greatest thing I've ever heard in my life.
Because I don't want to sit the bench.
Nobody wants to sit the bench.
And so I pitched the rest of the game and made a couple decent snags, like I'm balls,
comebackers, which were pretty good.
But it was one of those nights, and I'm definitely not a good athlete.
I'm an okay athlete that plays ball well, meaning I'm always thinking.
There's a different.
like I don't have pure athleticism
but I am always
I'm a pretty cerebral
player
and so I'm thinking to myself
I'm making every play that comes near me
I'm calling balls
I'm just going to be the leader out here in the infield
and I didn't even think there was an MVP
until like the third inning
I didn't know they were doing that
but I just didn't want to get taken out of the game
so about the third inning
Dion's like you're the MVP
and I'm like oh my God are they doing an MVP
so they would hit a ball
and I would be on the ground
threw one for my knees.
You're saying as soon as you found out that it was an MVP,
you're like, turn it up.
Yes. It was one of those where it was like,
oh, I'm now trying to play for MVP.
And we want to win the game, but I'm trying to play for MVP.
And so made a couple good plays,
but it was one of those rare times
where playing a sport where nothing can go wrong.
It's happened like twice or three times in my life.
Whereas like it didn't matter what I did.
They call it the zone.
I don't think I'm athletic enough to get the zone.
You're in the zone.
You're like Steph Curry when he's in the zone.
It was so rare for me to feel like, it doesn't matter what happens.
If they hit it near me, I'm just chunking it because it's going, I mean, I threw it from my knees.
That was the big one, dude.
When you did that and you got the runner out, I'm like, as MVP.
I didn't even know who was hitting the ball.
Do you almost just black out at that point where you're like, at one point I'm pitching and the next point we got another out?
I'm like, I don't even know what just happened.
The only time that happened was my, I only got to bat twice because it's bad in 13th, right?
Yeah, yeah.
And so the second time up, I'm like, okay, just hit it on the ground.
and I didn't hit it on the ground
I bombed what I thought was a pop-up
and it just kept going
and it burnt that right center filter
it one hopped into the fence
I didn't swing that hard
and I was like oh my God
I'm about to win the MVP
if we win the game
what sucked was that ump
started making the game closer
because anything that had been a strike
before he was calling a ball
if they didn't swing
because he just wanted people to hit the ball
you're saying it was rigged
no I'm saying that it was
it was directed towards entertainment at the end of the game.
Like boxing.
So they wouldn't swing and they'd be two,
they'd have a two O two-O count instead of an O-2 count
when I'd thrown two good pitches.
And if they're O-2,
they're definitely up thinking differently
as to where they're going to hit the ball
versus if it's 2-0.
Sure.
But finish the game.
When you were pitching,
did you try to do any kind of movement of the ball?
Absolutely.
Really?
Because we were pretty far away.
We couldn't see anything.
Constant.
I was throwing,
I'm telling you how I was pitching.
I've never pitched like that before in my life.
I was throwing side balls.
Really?
I hit a guy once.
And then after the game is in the last inning.
He was like, I was only doing that to be funny.
And he's like, I didn't even want to walk.
And I'm like, I don't want you to walk either.
Because they almost came back because the amp was making sure they all could hit it.
But I was throwing under.
I was still on side.
That's why they were missing.
They were swinging and missing at times because I was just dicking around throwing weird balls.
It is amazing.
And then they gave me that bell.
And they said, hey, you're the MVP.
We'll take you back to the hotel.
They took me to the wrong hotel and dropped me off.
Oh, man.
I went up to the eighth floor of the hotel that wasn't mine.
I was like, this does not look like my room.
That's why it took so long.
Yes, my feet were killing me.
Add the big belt on my shoulder.
So even people who didn't know who I was,
they were like, oh, let's take a picture.
And I'm taking pictures.
Like, who are you again?
It's one of those.
Oh, you on the MVP?
That's cool.
Are you on Instagram?
It was that kind of thing.
But because I had the belt,
but it was really one of,
it was a complete highlight
because I was welcomed into the group
with like Tio and Des,
like all those athletes
and they were so cool to me
because I was playing well
on their team and we were winning.
That's cool.
Even Dion Sanders,
as soon as we get there,
he comes up and he's like,
I mean, I'd seen him forever.
And, you know,
we talked for like five minutes,
just him and I.
And so it was really great.
That's the end of that conversation.
We've now talked about it.
Where's the belt?
It wasn't my car until yesterday.
You sit in the car?
It was in my car in the garage.
It stayed there all weekend long because we're gone all weekend.
Oh, okay.
In the garage, okay.
Yeah, and then now it's upstairs in the video game room that has three TVs.
Yeah.
But I have a lot of work to do as far as what to pull out there.
But I don't think I should frame that though, right?
I can just leave it out.
You got to wear that around.
You can't wear it.
It's too heavy.
It's very heavy.
Leave it out.
I'd frame that with the base, you know, like in one case.
But I mean, I like that, like, you know, if I'm going to go grocery store on my shoulder.
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
Like, having a conversation piece.
All right.
So that was that.
Let's take one more break, Mike.
We got on that?
Okay, go.

I'm talking to people like Julie K. Brown, who broke the explosive story on Jeffrey Epstein in 2018.
These victims have been let down time and time again for decades and decades by local law enforcement, by federal law enforcement, by administration after administration.
The Justice Department through, I think we counted four presidential administrations, failed these victims.

All right, here's the question for you guys.
What's the one NFL storyline that you're looking forward to seeing this next season?
And I can go first.
I think I'm looking forward to seeing how for real C.J. Stroud is.
I think he had a great year last year, obviously.
Rookie of the year?
Yeah, sure, yeah.
Playoff win, and not so much are the Texans real.
But I incorrectly doubted C.J. Stroud every week last year.
I was like, there's no way, this can't keep happening.
But it was a combination of him versus the Texans who have sucked versus also a rookie coach.
All that together, I just kept thinking, no chance, no chance, no chance.
Wow, he was great.
Now, there's a whole season to tape on him, but he's also had a whole off season to learn more about his game and the game.
I am curious to see if C.J. Stroud shows up as a top five to seven quarterback.
Because it's going to be hard for me to admit it, because it's going to be hard for me to admit it,
because I was so anti it,
but I'm on the verge of saying
I was completely, completely, completely wrong
and he's here to stay.
He hasn't given me enough body of work, though,
to say he's a top five quarterback yet.
Do you think his off-season's hurt him a little bit?
He's been all over.
And good for him, use the platform and all that.
I get that with Michael Parsons.
Like, he's been clips, he's been traveling him,
and Michael Parsons have clips everywhere left and right.
Like, as a veteran defense guy,
I'd be like, man, I can't wait to show this guy.
I think for me, it makes me feel even more wrong
because to watch him talk football.
Yeah.
Smart.
Extremely.
And thinking back when he took the test,
the test that all those guys take before,
he was like the lowest score.
And I'm like, that's not the same guy
because I'm watching the microparson sit behind a table and go,
this is what we do here is a 3-4,
we'd move this to the egg.
And I'm like, God, dang,
I thought the dude was dumb as a rock
whenever they showed us one on the ACT.
Like, he just didn't want to take the test that day, apparently.
He had an 18 out of 100.
On the...
Litness?
No, on the, what was the test called?
Cognition test?
Yeah.
I forget what it was called.
But it's the one that they take
going in.
So I'm anxious to see that.
Kevin? Mine is the Bears, actually.
Big Chicago guy now, you know?
Shut off.
Now, Caleb Williams, that offense,
you look at that roster and you're just kind of like,
all right, D'Andre Swift, DJ Moore,
Keenan Allen, Roma Dunesay, Cole Commet.
Now Caleb Williams, if he can translate quick.
There's never been a rookie set up
to have immediate success
like the Bears have right now
with Williams coming in.
Yeah, and I don't know
their offensive linemen too much, Darnel Wright,
but if they can hold up,
and their defense is solid last year,
they were good.
So if he can come in and play like a CJ Stroud,
I think they could be all right.
I don't think he has to play like a C.J. Stroud.
I think he can play like a generic,
I'd say Jared Gough,
but Gough had a really good year.
Yeah.
I think he can be a C-plus quarterback
and that team be really good.
I think he could be a very light version
of what the Falcons are going to expect.
As far as from their weapons or their offense.
Kirk Cousins.
Right.
You know, a distributor who gets the ball to their guys.
Yeah.
I think he can be a light version of that and they'll be really good.
Yeah, because they got some dudes.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think the Bears are going to be good.
Eddie?
Chiefs. Can they make it to the Super Bowl again?
No one's ever won three in a row.
I know. Can they do that?
That's what I'm really looking forward to.
And more importantly, how Travis Kelsey comes back and plays,
he's in a serious relationship now.
Like, this is serious.
If he can make it through last year, I think he's going to be okay this year.
Well, but here's the thing.
What people don't realize.
I agree with that because last year was the shock of it all.
Yeah.
Sure, media,
frenzy, all that.
But guys, we know the married guys in the room, bones, we know.
Like, a wife influences our lives a lot.
Like, when you're in a serious relationship,
you become a changed man.
Sometimes you're a manly, manly dude before you get married,
before you find the love of your life,
then you fall in love, you get a little lazy,
you get a little comfortable because you now found the woman of your dreams.
Taylor Swift, is he going to be good?
Is Travis Kelsey going to be good this year?
Can the Chiefs go to the Super Bowl again?
That's what I'm looking forward to.
Cannot wait.
Travis Kelsey thing.
He's also getting older to eventually.
He is going to hit the wall.
But I don't think it has to be specifically Taylor Swift.
It's just all of it, man.
The comfort level.
Sure.
Sure, sure, sure.
You talk about traveling.
He just tried everywhere.
Kelsey's been all over the world.
He's been in Europe dancing with Tom Cruise in a tent
in the Irish version of Taylor Swift concert.
Yeah, yeah.
That changes a man.
How do you know?
I don't know.
Okay.
I'm just assuming it.
Read.
Rumors and speculations.
Jeff Bezos buying the Seahawks.
He's supposed to buy the friggin redskins slash commanders slash football team for a while.
And now they're thinking Seahawks?
Yeah.
And I mean, you know, Amazon already has exclusive rights.
Thursday night football with his money.
Thursday night Seahawks every week.
Every Thursday.
There's a night Seahawks.
That'd be cool.
That'd be cool.
I'm curious to see what that would be like for someone of his.
his stature to own a football team.
Do you know what he owns now other than Amazon?
I don't know. Probably
a lot, right?
Well, I'm sure a lot, too.
Like cars and stuff. Washington Post.
Yeah. Oh, really?
Oh, man.
He has Washington Post.
Cars.
A house is a lot of planes, stocks,
boats.
Katie, you?
I was going to say the Jim Harbaugh
coming back to the pros
from collegiate level.
Oh, that's good.
It's been like, what, 10 years?
And he's won everywhere.
He's literally won everywhere.
He won in San Francisco.
So, yeah, that'll be cool.
And I have a friend who spent a little time with him,
who I didn't know they knew each other.
And he was like, Jim Harbaugh is like the coolest, most fun guy.
Really?
And I'm like, really?
Because he seemed like a freaking disciplinarian at Michigan.
Now, granted, I'm not playing right guard for him.
But that'll be fun to see.
There's a chance we go talk to him.
Yeah, there's a chance we go talk to him.
That would be super fun.
So, yeah.
I think that would be good if we go talk to Jim Harbaugh.
And he's like, quirk.
He's like squirted us with the flower out of his book.
Say, guys.
I wonder what his Mount Rushmore music.
I know.
It's like metal.
Pandara.
There are a couple different interviews up if you missed the episodes with Dan Lanning.
We have a Steve Young interview that we may put out the end of this week early next.
We have Dylan Gabriel.
We'll have something up later this week as far as an interview goes.
but we have scheduled as far as interviews and too much access
we're going to the Dolphins
we're going to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Rays
The Rays, yeah, baseball
But not football
Yeah, yeah
Doesn't matter
Yeah well
It's exciting either way
What NFL teams we had
Titans hopefully
Titans hopefully
Yeah, the Jets, the question is
Do we want to go to the Jets if we don't?
get Aaron Rogers and we don't get their head coach.
Salah.
Is it worth the trip and the money?
What you guys want to pay the money I do?
Right, right.
We're not worried about that.
If we don't get Aaron Rogers, no Rogers, no Sala.
Just think about it.
You know?
But, but I mean, that also means he could still be there.
Like, he could be there.
But what does that matter?
Every can get a shot of him.
Who cares?
I get shots of him all day.
It's called Google.
He can pull that from YouTube all day.
Yeah, all day or day.
We can't talk to him in a cold tub.
Catch him in a cold time.
It's interesting.
Yeah, it's funny where your mind goes.
So think about that.
I think that's going to wrap it up for now.
Reid and I are now in the same NCAA
College Football League.
Nice.
It's just basically my Madden League with Reed added.
It's so fun.
So college football is great.
The recruiting's nutty.
What, in your Miami?
Yeah, Miami.
Hurricanes.
We had one guy that, so kind of the deal was,
in our league, you take a mid-team.
We weren't taking like a...
No powerhouses.
No powerhouses, but also we weren't going and getting an FCS school or...
Toledo.
None of those.
Sam Houston State's on there.
Saw that.
Great.
So we took a mid.
Obviously, I wanted to be Arkansas.
They're not one of the better ones in the SEC, but they're still like 82 or something, right?
Reid took a mid.
Our friend's science took Texas Tech.
It's a mid.
Even though he's a big Longhorns fan, the Longhorns are just stacked on the game.
And so our friend Steve goes, oh, then I'll take the Longhorn.
So he's got like one of the...
the best teams in season one.
He's recruiting four stars out of his brain.
He's like, I'm so much better than this that you guys are.
No, bro, you just took Texas.
That's why.
You're built in with an advantage.
Yeah.
So we all want to punch him in the face.
And that was a clear rule?
We all took mid-team.
It was an understanding.
Yeah.
That we were all going to take mid-teams
because if you take Georgia, Ohio State,
Michigan, Texas, you are-
you either all do it or nobody do it.
Yeah.
And he takes Texas.
And we're just so annoyed because now he's like, just landed another four star.
I'm so much better at that game, though, than 2K.
It's not even funny.
Different sports, though, too.
Yeah, that's fair.
I watched Reed stream last night.
What's your Twitch channel?
Twitch.com slash Real bogus.
Real bogus.
That's right.
Which, if I were to read, I would have just started a new channel.
It was like Reed's sports channel.
That makes more sense.
Yeah.
But you can follow Reed.
I watched Reed play last night with Miami as they played.
Akron or something.
USF.
Oh, yes.
South Florida. But it's fun. The game's fun.
Why did you pick Miami, Reed?
That's a good question. I think because
me and Stone played a couple of practice rounds,
and I just used to them, I was like,
you know, warm up there.
Who do you? Yeah, but to be fair, when we
played 2K, you had a Florida team, too. I think you're just
drawing a Florida. Really? Like Orlando?
I was Orlando.
Not coincidental.
He just secretly wishes he was from Florida.
He's a Floridian, yes. All right, that's it.
Thank you guys. We will see you guys.
Later on this week, we'll have another cool interview.
We don't know if it's going to be Steve Young yet or not.
Or Dylan Gabriel, or we have a bunch, Dylan, in the canister.
But you guys have a great day, and we'll see you guys later on, probably Friday.
All right, buddy.
I'm Daniel Alarcon.
And this is my friend.
He's much more famous than I am.
I wouldn't go that far.

Let's go!
We did beat him in improv.
You had an improv against the team?
Yes, we would pull up their schools, would be there with signs for us.
It's competition.
What you would win is a bottle of gold slager.
James Fester threw it out of a van because he didn't want us drinking it.
