Join me, Greg Rosenthal, and Jordan Roderig after night one on Thursday. Nick Shook joins me night two Friday and then Sunday to recap everything that went down over the three days in Pittsburgh.
Starting point is 00:00:22 We'll tell you who won the draft and which players were my favorite picks. Listen to NFL Daily with Greg Rosenthal on the free. Heart Radio app. Open the app, search NFL daily, and listen now. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, my basketball and college football journey, or my career in sports media. Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Cliver Show. This is a place for raw, unfills of conversations with athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. So let's
Starting point is 00:00:59 get to it. Listen to the Clifford show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok podcast network on TikTok. When a group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist, they take matters into their own hands. I vowed. I will be his last target. He is not going to get away with this. He's going to get what he deserves. We always say that trust your girlfriends. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe, on the IHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Oh, good.
Starting point is 00:02:01 Thank you. There it is. We'll start it. Hey, Eddie, I'm going to ask you. Can you name the four teams that have never played in a Super Bowl? Never played in the Super Bowl. I asked this because I found an image, and it was every NFL team's Super Bowl record. And the best record of all time is Pittsburgh Steelers.
Starting point is 00:02:22 It's six and two. So this wasn't so much a trivia question, but I saw. I got three of the four, and then I think I could have battled it out for the fourth, but I didn't nail all four immediately. So I wanted to ask you, can you name, that's never been? Does this count as, oh. That's never been, not never won, never been. Because there are other teams who have never won.
Starting point is 00:02:44 The Music City Miracle was an AFC championship, I think. So I'm going to go with Titans. The Titans have been. They went because they lost to the Rams in the Super Bowl. Greatest show on turf. That one inch, one yard. Yeah, right. That was also in the documentary we watched on Steve McNair.
Starting point is 00:03:02 I haven't watched that yet. No, no, no, no. It's in my queue. I'm going to watch this. It's not even that long. It's not long like Chief Seholic. Yeah, it goes quick. Yeah, because I think it's like 53 minutes or something.
Starting point is 00:03:12 Chief Seaholic was like seven hours. Yeah, I need to watch that. Um, man. Four teams have never been to the Super Bowl. Can you come up with one? You don't need four ones. I know the brown. Browns have never won, but have they ever been?
Starting point is 00:03:28 I'm going to say they've never been. The Browns have never been to the Super Bowl. They're zero and zero. Gosh, that's tough. Let's see. I think the West, oh, I think the Cardinals have been. The Cardinals have been. Yeah, Cardinals have been.
Starting point is 00:03:47 The Buccaneers? I'm going to go where the Buccaneers have not been. Tampa Bay won with Tom Brady. God, yes. Yes. I forgot about that. They actually won twice with, I think they won the Gruden ones.
Starting point is 00:03:59 Yeah, Brad Johnson. I remember that. I remember that. I'm going to give you one more shot at it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Gosh, I mean, the dolphins have been, kind of look geographically. Oh.
Starting point is 00:04:12 Okay, think differently. Instead of geographically, go ahead first, before I give you a prompt. I'm going to go with the Texans. Correct. There you go. I was going to say, think of the newer teams,
Starting point is 00:04:21 because the Texans weren't moved from somewhere else. they were straight expansion. Yeah. Well, then I started thinking Jaguars, but they have been. I believe the Jaguars were in a Super Bowl, like the first couple years of their existence?
Starting point is 00:04:36 No, they didn't have been. They're one of the teams that have never been. They've the one? The F.C. Championship. Okay. Dang, okay. So you've got the Browns, the Texans, and the Jaguars. There's one more team that's never been.
Starting point is 00:04:46 Wow, that's tough. And they're actually good now. Okay. Now the Bengals have been thinking those Ohio teams the Bengals have been the Jets have been it's really good now
Starting point is 00:05:04 49ers I mean they've been What the Jets going 69 was that to guarantee Joe Namath victory? Joe Broadway Joe Okay you just said a nickname You didn't even add to what we were talking about That's what they called them
Starting point is 00:05:15 It's a good team NFC team A good NFC team The Eagles Obviously Traditionally a terrible team But they're good now commanders
Starting point is 00:05:27 I feel like they were The Redskins have won Yeah the Redskins have won I mean Can you give me a region? Give me a region North Okay Oh
Starting point is 00:05:40 The Vikings No they've won The Vikings They've gone in Super Bowl They've given me their whole record They lost I'm going to give you their whole record here The Minnesota Vikings
Starting point is 00:05:49 Oh I got you I got you I know what's up What is their record Hold on Who is it Eddie It's the lions. It's the lions.
Starting point is 00:05:56 Yeah. And they talk about that too all the time. The Vikings are 0 and 4. Yeah. Like that purple. Wow. When was it last time they've been? I don't have a purple.
Starting point is 00:06:04 I don't have all that. I can't even say it. Yeah. So the four teams, this is a good trivia question for anybody. That's good. Four teams that have never been are the lions, the Browns, the Texans and the Jaguars. O. and the Cardinals, they are 0 and 1. That was against the Steelers.
Starting point is 00:06:22 Yeah. That was the Roblesberger. San Antonio Holmes and the catch in the end zone. The Titans, which they lost. But the issue there is, did the Oilers ever go?
Starting point is 00:06:34 No, I don't think so. Okay, because they are counting all that together, I'm assuming. The Chargers have never won. They're 0.1. The Panthers are 0.2. They've been twice and have won. The Falcons are 0.2.
Starting point is 00:06:45 The Bengals are 0.3. And you have two teams at 0.4. One's the Vikings, and who's the other? Do you know, Kevin? Yep. You'll know this one. Oh, and four. There's two oh and four Super Bowl teams. This team lost all four in a row.
Starting point is 00:07:02 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's the Bills. We were kids, so it really didn't resonate with us as much being children when this happened. Can you imagine being an adult now and watching a team go to the Super Bowl four years in row and lose every year? You'd be so annoyed. And that was the Jim Kelly Thurman Thomas era, right? They lost four Super Bowls in a row. And the wide right, right? It was like the first one or something.
Starting point is 00:07:22 The Cowboys helped with that. Bill's in Giants. The Cowboys got two wins. Maybe they lost... Redskins, I think, was the other? Was it? Yeah. Yeah, it sounds right.
Starting point is 00:07:32 Jets are 1-0. Yeah. That was 6-9. We mentioned that. 100% winning percentage. The Saints are 1-0. The only perfect Super Bowl records are the Jets and the Saints at 1-0.
Starting point is 00:07:43 Baltimore is at 2-0. That has... And both of those had to be pre-Browns because the Browns had never been. Because remember, the Browns moved to Baltimore, and then the Browns became a new team after that. Oh. But then the Colts were Baltimore, right?
Starting point is 00:07:55 Yes. So the Colts were in Baltimore. The Colts moved to Indianapolis. Baltimore did not have a team. The Browns were in Cleveland. The Browns in the middle of the night moved to Baltimore. Yeah, that's right. They ran all their trucks in the middle of the night so they wouldn't be seen. So then Cleveland didn't have a team.
Starting point is 00:08:11 So you have Indianapolis or the Colts. Baltimore with the Ravens. No Browns. So they started an expansion Browns when it used to be the Browns. Wow. The Bucks. And that's it. And the top three, the Steelers, six and two, the Pats are six and five,
Starting point is 00:08:25 San Francisco and Dallas are five and three. The Giants are four and one, and the Packers are four and one. The Chiefs are four and three. And Reed's here now. You're not late, dude. What's up, fellas? How y'all doing? A lot better now, Reed. We started a bit earlier. You're good, man. We've only been on for like seven minutes.
Starting point is 00:08:41 Yeah, I was still early, though, technically. Yeah, you're good. We're not even at starting call time right now. You're fine. Yeah, let's go. Let's rock it. How was your Valentine's weekend, Reed? It was amazing. We went to St. Louis.
Starting point is 00:08:52 I don't know any of this, by the way. Yeah, so we went to St. Louis, dude, we went to the... You planned that trip? Did I plan it? For St. Louis? Like Valentine's Day? No, no. She was doing... What's more romantic than Valentine's of St. Louis?
Starting point is 00:09:03 Yeah, dude. No, she was doing a second look at the residency program there, but we... To be a doctor. Yeah, to be a doctor. We went to the city museum. If you all have ever been, it's clearly for kids, but it is a maze of tunnels and slides that lead absolutely to nowhere. It's by the... It's by the arch?
Starting point is 00:09:25 Maybe. It's downtown. I'm not sure, but we... But did you like the museum? Yeah, it was great. I used to go there as a kid, so I was like, I'm going to get us tickets. We're going to go see what it's like. And so did you guys do anything valentiney?
Starting point is 00:09:36 Let's see. As soon as we got there, we went to this, like, cocktail party thing that the residency program put on. Fancy. That's, like, the only thing we dressed up for. Other than that, I made a reservation, but we decided just to skip it and order take out and just have it delivered to the whole... hotel room and just watch a movie. That's probably better anyway.
Starting point is 00:09:56 That's literally what we did. And you stayed the whole weekend? Yeah. What else did you guys do? So you did the doctor like hello, the welcome. Did she like it? She did like it. She likes the program.
Starting point is 00:10:06 They pay a lot more than what Memphis would. But I'm still just trying to weigh out things. I mean, the Lou is cool, dude. I like St. Louis. The Lou. Yeah, that's what they call it. I like St. Louis better than Memphis. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:18 It's got the Southwest hub there that, like, my flight was 42 minutes. From here to It's in Nashville. But you also have to wait an hour in the airport And then drive half an hour to get there. That's fair.
Starting point is 00:10:28 Yeah. It's an hour and a half drive longer Yeah. From St. Louis to here than it is from Memphis. That's all? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:34 Only an hour and a half. Not bad. Five and a half hour? Not bad. Five and a half hour. From here to St. Louis only four and a half hour drive? You remember that time
Starting point is 00:10:42 we were going to fly. We had a show in St. We were going to fly. But our flight was delayed and we're like, we're going to miss our show so we just drove. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:48 So yeah, it was four hours. I went to sleep. I remember getting in the car. I went to sleep. You did do that. Wow. I'm rooting for Memphis. You like Memphis? No. I like St. Louis better, but I like Memphis better for Reed. It's closer. And us, because it's a bit closer.
Starting point is 00:11:02 I mean, I like Murphsboro for Reed. Hey, I agree. So when did you guys come back? We got back. I flew back yesterday morning and she drove back to Arkansas and then back to Monroe, Louisiana. So I got back around 8.30-ish. Did you guys have some good U-time? Yeah. Like, because you know what's each other.
Starting point is 00:11:19 that often. Yeah, no, it was great. It was awesome. That's why we usually just choose to stay in and eat food and just, like, be together. What movie did you watch? We watched The Hangover, too. It's solid, solid movie. It was just what was on. We really didn't choose a movie. It was just on the, you know, the TV and the hotel. Eddie, how was your Valentine's Day? What did you do? It was perfect. Because, you know, we have four kids. St. Louis? No, we went to Memphis. No. You know, we have four kids, so, like, we just don't, to get a babysitter, we've had a hard time finding a We've had five babysitters that have quit on us because we have four kids, four boys. And they don't quit.
Starting point is 00:11:54 They just don't answer their phone. So we don't really do babysitting anymore. So you get ghosted by sitters. Big time. So we just wait until they go to sleep. My wife mentioned she wanted some steak. So like I went to Costco, bought some big old rib eyes and I grilled them while she was putting the kids all to bed.
Starting point is 00:12:11 And then we just had steak and wine. I picked up a nice wine from Costco too from Spain. Oh. Yeah. And we watched a movie too. We watched an old black and white movie, which is like the best. Well, that's what you wanted to watch. She likes them too.
Starting point is 00:12:24 If I picked the right one, she'll like it too. Because I know you see a black and white movie and you're thinking like, oh, well, this can't be good. But if you look past that it has no color, the storylines are pretty good in some of those movies. They're not. They're not. And I feel like they're so romantic, man. You got Humphrey Bogart and Casablanca. There's something romantic about the time that it was shot.
Starting point is 00:12:48 Yeah. We feel that way because everything was simpler. But in reality, people have polio. Cameras with no colors. It's a great depression. Yeah. Shout out of the art. The 2026 NFL draft is here and the NFL Daily podcast has it covered from all angles.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Join me, Greg Rosenthal, and Jordan Rodriguez after night one on Thursday. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show. This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated.
Starting point is 00:14:05 One week, I'll take you behind the scenes of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment, and the next we'll talk about life, mental health, purpose, and even music. The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast. It's a space for honest conversations, stories that don't always get told, and for people who are chasing something bigger. So if you've ever supported me or you're just chasing down a dream, this is right where you need to be.
Starting point is 00:14:27 Listen to the Clifford show on the IHeard radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either.
Starting point is 00:14:54 We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends, Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands.
Starting point is 00:15:17 I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Casey, what about you guys? We rented a cabin in Gatlinburg, actually.
Starting point is 00:15:43 I actually woke up today at 4 a.m. to drive here to be here on time. Wow. Because I'm dedicated, baby. When did you go out? When did we drive up? Saturday morning. So, two nights. The cabin, did it have like all the amenities?
Starting point is 00:15:55 All the amenities, yeah. Did you split it with somebody or just you guys? Another couple. Yeah. But we were separate enough. So it was nice. But you were comfortable enough that it was like friends. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:05 Is there a hot tub? Yeah. Hot tub. Nice. It's a pool table. That's good. You need that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:11 How do we feel about hot tub and just like bros? All bros in a hot tub. No. What do you mean? No. Come on, man. How many? Yeah, it depends how many.
Starting point is 00:16:19 I say four bros. Too many. Four bros and a hot tub. Like let's say us, our crew. All five of us. Just in a hot tub at a hotel. There's a hot tub at a hotel. Do we all get in?
Starting point is 00:16:28 Because again, a hot tub is not as big as fun pool. If you're like bumping feet with such as you're bumping feet. We got long legs. We got a couple big guys in here, man. I don't know about that. How do we feel about five dudes in a hot tub? I love it. I think we should do it.
Starting point is 00:16:43 I guess the feeling is, do you feel like you're just in a hot tub? Or for some of you guys, is it like too sexual? Do you make a hot tub sexual in your mind? I love it, man. So it's sexual to read, yeah. Eddie doesn't make you. Sounds like you don't make a sexual. I like it.
Starting point is 00:16:59 I just think we're hanging out. We're drinking beers. Well, not you, bones. You'll have a virgin pinia collata and we'll just hang out in the hot tub. The water's just hot. Same if we were just sitting in a living room. What's the problem? Got it.
Starting point is 00:17:08 Reid, do you be good with it? Yeah, no sexualness. Okay. I'd be good with it. It wouldn't be no issue for me. Because we'd all be in a swimming pool, but we'd be that close maybe. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:16 But I'm okay. Yeah, I don't really think of it is. The size has a lot to factor in there. Kevin, it feels like you wouldn't be down. Yeah, I don't think I would. I think just somewhere for them, I don't know, as soon as somebody touches somebody's foot or something, you're like, no, I'm cool guys, I'm out of here.
Starting point is 00:17:29 I'm out. Casey? Yeah, I mean, again, I think it's all about the size because, yeah, if I'm... If I'm grazing reed, it's, you know, I mean, it might be a little. You definitely are touching other people. Like, if you move around, you're going to touch, like your foot's going to hit or your elbow. I think feet's fine. Legs is a little different story.
Starting point is 00:17:46 You're wrestling with some folks away. Yeah, like, if you're bumping kneecaps, it's a little different. Well, I don't want to bump kneecaps even in a car. I mean, anywhere. That's not sexual. It's just no room. Yeah, that's fair.
Starting point is 00:17:56 Like, you guys act like you can't just bump a knee with each other. Like, it's fine. I think they think they're going to get turned on. Then you can't stand up and just get weird. Valentine's, Kevin? Yeah, we didn't do much. Her mom was in town for the weekend, so we just went out to dinner. I had a nice dinner in, like, midtown area over here.
Starting point is 00:18:12 On Valentine's night? On Valentine's night. Yeah, I made that like two weeks in advance. Two weeks in advance, and there's still, like, nothing out there. Did you have to pay ahead of time? No. Oh, that's nice. Most places were.
Starting point is 00:18:23 because it was a Friday night, they were going to pay ahead of time. That way if you bail out, we're not out the money for holding the reservation. But this place did have a system down. I'm not kidding, you couldn't finish your food. Okay, you're done? No, move on in the next people.
Starting point is 00:18:35 They just wanted to get people in and out, in and out. And I was like, all right, I guess we're done. But food is good, service is good. It was a nice night. We just did gifts for the most part. So my wife got me some clothes and stuff, but I got her, I was three different gifts
Starting point is 00:18:51 in every gift that she opened. She had no idea. I've been planning a trip for us for like the past month and a half. And so she was like, what is this? So she opened up like a thing, a sauerkraut. And then she opened up this big pretzel and then she opened up a croissant. And it was from like Aunt Annie's. It was an old pretzel from like the day before because I had to wrap them. From the mall. Annie Ann's. Yeah, Annie Ann's. Yeah. So these were all messages? Yes. So croissant.
Starting point is 00:19:24 A trip. behind the croissant? So either you went to a French restaurant. Oh, what's that French restaurant? No, no, no, no. I'm not asking where I got the stuff. I'm asking what it means. Yeah, where you're going.
Starting point is 00:19:35 You can take her to the, what's that French restaurant at the mall? It's usually attached to a mall. It's pretty good. North Italian. I think Bobby wants to go to France. Reed, what do you think? France. Yeah, Paris.
Starting point is 00:19:47 You went to Paris this weekend? No. Oh, my God. I'm taking her. I'm taking her on us. I'm not taking her. It's us. But I planned the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:19:58 That's good. So it's a couple months away. Very nice. The person I thought it was Germany. Paris? Well, there's three different things. Oh, okay. Because everything in Europe is close.
Starting point is 00:20:07 Right. La Madeline. That's what I was saying in the restaurant. Thank you, Eddie. You really held on to that one. Wow. So Paris. Marit since you're the one who got it.
Starting point is 00:20:14 Sourcrow. Oh, Sourcrow. They got that in Italy? I'm sure they have it. there, but it's not worth it. Sourcrow. Shoot. Where you go?
Starting point is 00:20:23 Kevin just said it. Oh, you did? Mm-hmm. Germany? Yeah. And then pretzel. Okay. That's different.
Starting point is 00:20:32 Because all these are the original thing. So when she opened it at first, she was like, why did you give me sourcrow? Because she hates sauerkra. And I'm not a big fan either. Pretzel. Yeah, pretzel. They got those in Persia? Where do you think Persia is?
Starting point is 00:20:43 Like, dude, I have no idea where Persia is. I'm just going to say it. Poland? No. It's like a Bavar. Prussian pretzel, right? Oh, Bavaria. You're going to Bavaria?
Starting point is 00:20:52 Netherlands? Bulgaria? Belgium. Russia. Austria. Oh, Austria. So, but they're all like, it's all like, you land and you, we've never, I mean, I've been to Paris before, but I've never been to the other places and you just take a train
Starting point is 00:21:06 to the next place. Just a few hours. It's like basically here to St. Louis. Literally, pretty much. It is. On the train, the train ride. So we go Paris to somewhere in Germany and then we go to Austria and then we fly back here.
Starting point is 00:21:18 That's awesome. So all the gifts were confusing to her because she's like, I hate sourcrop. Why didn't get me a pretzel? Yeah. And then finally she's crushed because she's like, oh, because the croissant I knew if you opened at first, she would immediately think Paris. But the other ones were to mix her up a little bit. But yeah, that's what that's, that was a gift.
Starting point is 00:21:36 That's pretty cool. It's pretty good. Well, we don't have four kids. Right. I mean, or else we'd go to Paris. Yeah, big difference. Big difference. But yeah, we don't have four kids.
Starting point is 00:21:44 I was watching the pillow fight championships. Did you guys see any of this? No. Dude, it's wild. Is it sexy? No, it's dudes. They're going hard. No, that's, you're thinking,
Starting point is 00:21:53 you're thinking porn. Well, no, no. I'm thinking of pillow fights like that. Isn't that like, you know, girls hang slumber party pillow fights? It's with real refs in a ring and these two dudes have pillows. And the ref calls that every time
Starting point is 00:22:05 they get smacked with a pillow. And it's like a four minute round. One guy dressed up as the Joker and they were just killing each other with these pillows. And they have like brands on the pillows, like their sponsors. Oh, my God. It's a league thing.
Starting point is 00:22:18 It's like beers. Like a SERDA or is it like totally something different? No, whatever the brand was on the- It should be SERDA. Much like golf sponsors, the farther you go, the more television time you get. It was a tournament. And it was on like ESPN News because I was trying to watch the Arkansas basketball game. And I flipped over because they run that because they always schedule their games bad on ESPN.
Starting point is 00:22:39 The first part of every game is on ESPN News because they do it two hours for every game. So I watch, I'm watching ESPN News and they go off that right into the Pillof Fight Championships. And I'm like, what? Is this a joke? No, I watched like three pillow fights. And then it kind of got old because you're just watching like one round. But there was a pillow fight tournament. Wow.
Starting point is 00:22:57 I watch it on. I think they're doing some of that ESPN, the Ocho. I've seen The Ocho. We're like ridiculous games. Yes. So I think that's one of them. But I watched it and there were people there watching. Like they had a crowd?
Starting point is 00:23:09 Yeah. You ever watch like small town wrestling? Like in a cafeteria and there's like 40 people watching around the ring? In town they have little guy wrestling. Well, that's different. They have arrived by my house. And I drive by the sign, I'm like, that could be fun.
Starting point is 00:23:24 I will not go. I will not go and support that. Well, I mean, if you go and support it, they're making money. No, they're making fun. That's what they're doing. I agree. But if you don't go.
Starting point is 00:23:40 Then they have to shut down and they can't make fun of them anymore. They have to shut down and possibly they can't make money. I mean, it's a fine line. Like, I don't really know how I feel. because they're not forcing them to do it. Yeah. Like even my kids, like if they're in the car, like, we got to go to that.
Starting point is 00:23:54 I'm like, no, we don't got to go to that. Yeah, they're not forcing them to do it. I don't know how I feel. I need to watch. But pillow fights is pretty fun to watch for three fights. Just talk about it for a second. Mike, go take a break. Yep.
Starting point is 00:24:05 All right. Take a quick break. Come back. The 2026 NFL draft is here and the NFL Daily podcast has it covered from all angles. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
Starting point is 00:25:54 You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And Rule 2, never mess with her friends either. We always say that, trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends... Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me?
Starting point is 00:26:19 The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe.
Starting point is 00:26:35 On the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I watched some of the All-Star game. It was fun. Yeah, it was different. I thought it was fun. It was okay. I watched some of the skills competition the night before, only some.
Starting point is 00:26:56 I did not watch when B and Chris Paul get kicked out. So I watched that in clips Kicked out of the arena Well no they were kicked out of the competition For the skills And this had been something I would have tried for sure They just tried to game the system You don't have to make the shot
Starting point is 00:27:12 So when they were doing the past And they got to the shoot that you shoot three of them They started chunking the balls as fast as they could They asked every referee Or everybody that was like Reffing the games if they could do it And they were like well we don't see this is against the rules But then they kicked them out of the competition
Starting point is 00:27:25 Someone came up to them Yeah And Wembe took all the blame He was like yeah it was my idea That's cool That's just like a cheating way that I think It wasn't cheating But they were like
Starting point is 00:27:37 The spirit of the competition Yeah they were like we're going to kick you guys out Which I thought was kind of funny Slam dot contest Here's why everybody thinks it sucks First of all they don't get any big players But back in the day It was rare that you would get national television time
Starting point is 00:27:53 If we're talking about the Dominique Wilkins Michael Jordan Spud Webb Oh that was cool Vince Carter. Yeah. Even at the end of the D. Brown, Vince Carter, all that time. It was rare that you would get television focus on you.
Starting point is 00:28:07 So these national players, national brands that are players, they would use that to pump up their brand so they could get endorsements. And there wasn't regional television, where now you can watch on NBA Sunday ticket, also known as. The League Pass. Correct. Or there's a decent amount of games on, whatever the platform TNT or yeah so they don't need it as much back in the day those guys
Starting point is 00:28:35 needed that national platform because sports illustrated would do a whole thing and that was a thing um so you're not also the guys don't want to be embarrassed now which is pretty embarrassing if you can't make a dunk a couple of those guys couldn't make a dunk and it was very embarrassing yes but that's why the guys don't want to do it now they're elite stars and if for some reason they can't make one of these crazy dunks it's not like they can't make a dunk right right it's one of these crazy dunk, so why would they put themselves through that just to be embarrassed and possibly not win? Like, the culture has changed as well. Matt McClung won again, three times in a row. Unbelievable. If he wasn't so small or white, I don't think it would be as cool. Really? Because
Starting point is 00:29:15 white people can't jump. I didn't make that up. It's a movie? Yes. Maybe two movies now? Neat. And the fact that he's what, six two? Yeah, six. He's like a little white guy dunking, and that's just weird and different. But has anyone ever jumped over a car? Maybe I missed it. Yes. It's happened before, but not like that. But yeah, Blake Griffin did it.
Starting point is 00:29:35 He jumped over. Akea as well. Was this IKEA too? Yeah. Yeah. Sponsorhip. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. But this one was a little more elite because Matt McClung, not as large.
Starting point is 00:29:45 And jumped it from the side, I think, and then came around with the reverse, right? Was it a reverse that he hit? Between the legs or something. Yeah, one of them. Something different. It's pretty amazing. He even tapped the, you even tapped like the rim. Like, oh, Liz.
Starting point is 00:29:56 Again, he's won three times in a row. But he doesn't, he's like, he's a two-way player. Does he play play? He's a two-way player, so most of the time's down the G-League. He's had a little bit of time. He won it in a Philly uniform year one, in the last two in Orlando uniform. That's right. He doesn't play a ton of minutes.
Starting point is 00:30:18 How do we feel about Matt McClain continuing to be in the dunk contest? I love it. To find the crown. I love it. He's almost Joey Chesson at this point. You know, like, it's just what he's doing is pretty amazing. And what I don't understand is the people that are participating, like, like Stefan Castle, anyone like, hey, he had an awesome dunk where the ball came out of the net and he caught it after it was made and dunked it. I'd never seen that before.
Starting point is 00:30:43 That's pretty legit. And I think you got all 50s on that one. Yes. Yeah, but he got 50. Not enough to. Yeah, I guess all 50s across the board. Right? Yes.
Starting point is 00:30:50 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then, but, but like everyone else, like, bring a tank. Like bring 10 motorcycles. If you know you're competing against Matt McClung, who's going to jump over a dude, do a flip over a car, whatever. Like do something else other than do like a McTwist. Like it just doesn't make sense to me that you would even try to participate against Matt McClung knowing that that's how he rolls.
Starting point is 00:31:13 What are the rules? How many could you make? You had time. You had 40 seconds to make your dunk. See, that's how it used to be. Yeah. You got a dunk. And maybe you got one if he missed.
Starting point is 00:31:25 and I think that should be it and I don't even know how many he missed because again I didn't watch all of any Matt McClung. He never missed a dunk? He didn't miss one dunk okay I never I didn't watch and he didn't I think he did them all once really yeah so he completed the first dunk completely that's awesome
Starting point is 00:31:40 like that was a guy for the Bulls I don't know who he was it's like the home run derby though sometimes it's just too much too many pitches too much time they're exhausted and they get tired yes yeah yeah the same thing I get you give 40 seconds but they should get two turns yeah if they don't make the first one they get a second time then they're done
Starting point is 00:31:54 what were you going to say about the guy? He just missed all his dunks and then he looked at the clock and five seconds left. The guy from Milwaukee, right? Yeah, maybe Milwaukee guy. And then he just went up and just two-handed it. Just count me a dunk, please. And they gave him like some kind of point. I watched some of the All-Star game.
Starting point is 00:32:09 I don't have any sort of, I don't have any dog in that fight when it's like Shaq versus Barclay or Kenny. Candace versus Kenny. Yeah. Well, but I guess they had a theme, right? was like older players versus the rookie, the younger players versus some rookies. Well that was just how they drafted. But the
Starting point is 00:32:28 newer team, the young guys did have a team and they had to like compete to be in it. But then the rest they just drafted some of those guys. But they should do like, and I forget who the charger was, who was like, we should have black versus white pro bowl. Do you remember that? Who was that? We'd get killed.
Starting point is 00:32:46 Well, but I'm saying people people don't care. People don't care. Like the All-Star game is for companies and kids People don't care And I don't root for Chuck or Shaq But if you were to go SEC Versus Big Ten
Starting point is 00:33:03 And you gave people something to actually Like I made a list here And who was that Find the Steeler who It wasn't Antonio Brown Who said they should do football White players versus Levi-on Bell was it?
Starting point is 00:33:14 Maybe I think it was And so it was everybody Like creating the best white team versus the best black team It was Richard Mendenhall? It was Mendenhall? Oh, yeah. Okay, cool.
Starting point is 00:33:24 Yep. I thought that's what it was, but I wouldn't have bet any money on it. So you could do white versus black, which would be hilarious. Jeez. Who'd be on the white team? Luca. I mean, you have two of the best four players in the NBA right there. What if they're mixed?
Starting point is 00:33:42 Yeah, what if they're mixed? They pick their own team. Nice. Like the Olympics. They get to choose their country. They get to choose. Yeah. Well
Starting point is 00:33:51 Dalton Connect Yeah Like Steph Curry would pick right He's mixed Yeah He would definitely go No comment
Starting point is 00:33:59 Yeah Yeah I guess so Who would be on the all white team though If you're only white Because we don't have much Well you're Mexican Eddie
Starting point is 00:34:09 You're not even on our white team You're right But you get the foreign team Yeah Because the foreign team's gonna kill everybody If they're taking white players I mean there's a lot of foreign players Yeah
Starting point is 00:34:18 The only white players are former players. The Vincenzo. The All-Star game. What about, for the Celtics? Oh, tall guy? Yeah. Porzzias.
Starting point is 00:34:32 Pritchard? Prytard. Prychard. Prychard. Who's the bald guy? Luke Cornet. No. Where's the...
Starting point is 00:34:40 Oh, Caruso. Caruso. Oh, God. No, Caruso. He's still playing. He's a good defendant. Oh, wow. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:45 Yeah, so I think it would be like... Like conference, age, a separator from age, race, states, like geographic. It just needs to be something because I watch some of, and I don't know anything about hockey, but I watched some of the hockey Battle of the Nations. How awesome is that? Oh yeah, the Canadian here?
Starting point is 00:35:05 Yeah. Awesome. And so we play Sweden coming up, and we're already in the championship, probably against Canada. But again, if they win. But it was cool because everybody had like their personal
Starting point is 00:35:18 country. country pride. So you already said we and you don't even watch hockey. America though, man. I know. That's what I'm saying. I know.
Starting point is 00:35:24 That's what I felt. That's literally how I felt and I was like America. So yeah, the All Star game could use a little bit of that treatment. Like find something people
Starting point is 00:35:34 are passionate about. The race thing would be dicey though. I'd be dicey. That's a dice one. I was just using the men and all reference. That'd be hilarious because white people would get killed.
Starting point is 00:35:45 Did you see Steph Curry during the half court, it's like nothing. The backward, just on, like the pregame? No, during the game. He just hit a half court for fun. Like, not a buzzer beater, just for fun. And then he just jumped a floater from the three-point line and made it. Like, dude, he was just making everything he threw up.
Starting point is 00:36:00 So I got MVP. I was flipping between that. I was watching SNL 50 as well. Oh, yeah. I didn't watch that. Mike, did you watch that? Oh, yeah. I watched the first hour all the way through.
Starting point is 00:36:08 I watched the whole thing. You did? Yeah. I couldn't. How long was it? I don't know. Three hours? Three hours?
Starting point is 00:36:14 Oh, wow. Over three hours. Because it went seven. It's supposed to go seven to ten, which is when your local news starts. But they went past ten? 10.30 was when it finished. Oh, cool. They had Steve Martin come out and do the opening monologue, and it's pretty funny.
Starting point is 00:36:28 And they had other famous people come out during it. They gave him some time to do some jokes, which is perfect. And then like Martin Short came out and they brought ice to get him off because he's Canadian. Steve Martin couldn't get him off. They had ice remove him, which is kind of funny. But they started with Sabrina Carpenter. And Paul Simon? Paul Simon.
Starting point is 00:36:47 Yeah, I saw that. They sang together? They did. What did they sing? He was pretty old. Yeah, he sounded old. I know, I felt... I love Paul Simon, too.
Starting point is 00:36:55 What did he say? I'm a blur. I was trying to consume so many things last night at once. Homeward bone? Oh, yeah. Homeward bounce. That's what I was, yeah. I thought that she was a little too new to be in the very first opening sketch.
Starting point is 00:37:07 Yeah, it was a weird opening. Because she's just now famous, and this is celebrating 50 years. But, again, that's what they're not. for finding the most relevant thing and throwing it up there and she's super famous but i saw post malone and nirvana that's the concert two days prior oh okay unless they didn't do any music last night except for paul wayne was there did a few did he play yeah paul mccartney played it very end nice kind of sprinkled in throughout then two nights before they had the concert which they had bits like lady gaga did d in a box with andy sandberg oh it sounds like post malone did with nirvana i thought it was really good yeah
Starting point is 00:37:43 Was that the one where Was Will Farrell doing the He's doing Kendry? Yes, him and that sketch Where he's like at the ball head and the piano They're like a duo Yes Yeah, it's good
Starting point is 00:37:56 A minor Yes, but I only watch that in clips On TikTok The concert But I watched on Peacock The first hour and 10 minutes Of the SNL 50
Starting point is 00:38:07 It's crazy It's been around 50 years Yeah I mean it has been alive longer than anybody on the show has. Yeah. By a significant amount of years. When did you start watching?
Starting point is 00:38:20 Like who was... Sandler. Sandler? Yeah. Yeah, that's when we were kids, I guess. Yeah, the Sandler years. Like, Sandler, Chris Rock. I kind of remember being a little kid and seeing John Levitts on there.
Starting point is 00:38:33 Yeah, that's the ticket. Remember that one? Yeah, yeah, that's the ticket. I know it because I've seen a bunch of like S&A. I don't know if I remember seeing it live. That might have been like just mid-80s or something, being like six years old. Yeah, it was massive when we were kids.
Starting point is 00:38:47 But every single cast is the worst cast ever, basically. Yeah. But it was good. I mean, if you're an S&L fan, I did watch the S&L movie Saturday night. Oh yeah, what'd you think? I think if you were a fan of Saturday Night Live, you would have liked it.
Starting point is 00:39:01 I think if you weren't, you probably wouldn't have. Because there's, anybody else watch it? I've seen any, yeah. Okay. Because it's so much inside baseball, meaning I wonder what Dan Aykroyd was like but I know who Dan Aykroyd was and I know his career on SNL
Starting point is 00:39:16 as a blues brother as an actor after so like the Belushi stuff was interesting because they had all these people and it was almost like one consistent... It wasn't but it was like one consistent shot running through in the couple of hours before the first episode like that's the whole movie. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:39:32 Right Mike? It's very chaotic, yeah. Yes. So it's the very first episode and it's them doing a lot of explaining as to why it's happening but through scenarios. And so the people that play the first show are like sound checking.
Starting point is 00:39:44 And like Andy Kaufman's, I talked about on the show last week. Andy Kaufman's like trying to get his record player. And Jim Hansen, who's got the Muppets and they're in the first episode. But you're learning about the characters through how they're getting ready for the first episode. And like I didn't know Belushi was like a real serious actor who was like, this is nuts. I don't even want to do this. This is John Belushi. John Belushi, yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:05 So, yeah, I thought it was good. I think I love it just because I still. I still watch SNL every single week that it's on new. So it was cool getting to learn that history of it. So I've just been a big SNL fan my entire life. Like there's a couple minutes where Billy Crystal's character is like all neurotic backstage is they're putting up like what the sketches are going to be. And he's like, oh, I can do it's four minutes.
Starting point is 00:40:25 You know, I can do less than four minutes. So you're seeing Billy Crystal. You're seeing all of them be young. Yeah. And it's giving you a piece of what they were all like when they were brought on it. 1920, 21, 22, 23 years old, however old they were. What's the Chevy Chase? He's massive and he's probably the biggest.
Starting point is 00:40:43 Yeah. Yeah, biggest character. Is he kind of a jerk? Yeah. That's kind of what people say. It's like super funny. Yeah. But like has the skills because he was tall and good looking and funny.
Starting point is 00:40:56 And so he just had a lot of confidence. And probably had the most success from that generation post-S&L in movies. Yeah. And Billy Crystal is pretty big. Yeah, but Chevy Chase, and they allude to him, and they weren't even acting like it was all super accurate to that night. But Chevy Chase has a guy come up to him and it's like, it's you, you're the next guy. Like, you're the guy, you're going to be at, this show's fine, but you're going to be the next. And he ends up hosting late night and being a fill in for Carson and getting his own show and to have his own.
Starting point is 00:41:30 So it like alludes to a lot of things. So it was good For me, I would give it like four out of five But like my wife who does not watch SNL Two and a half out of five Because I don't think she would have liked it Because I think that was for people who knew who they were watching And they were just getting more backstory on
Starting point is 00:41:50 Thoughts Mike Yeah, I would agree with that I'm probably at a four with you as well But my wife watches SNL with me now But doesn't know the history of the show So it's kind of lost with it Yeah, you need it And it ends
Starting point is 00:42:00 Because I don't think it matters where's where it ends. This is not a where it starts and where it ends, right? No. Where it ends is the very first sketch of the whole series. Before they go live? No, they do the very first sketch on that S&L ever had and then it cuts out. What was that sketch?
Starting point is 00:42:19 It's language, learning a language. It was Belushi learning a language. And he's like, the guy's like, The Wolverine will eat your fingertips. And he's like, The Wolverine, we'll eat your fingertips. And then the guy has a, he's like repeating everything, and then he has a heart attack and falls off. And then he thinks that's part of it.
Starting point is 00:42:37 So he has a heart attack and falls off. Funny. Very rudimentary. Sketch comedy. I love it. Yeah, they should have clip of that on the special last night. They did? It was funny that they also did a montage of all like the questionable things they did over the years.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Like all like the questionable, like race makeup. Oh, they did a whole. They did a whole montage of like the jokes they made, the accents they did. I was surprised they did that. I was surprised that Ryan Reynolds was there and then made the joke about himself. And I thought that was pretty good. he was like oh he stood up and there were like Tina Faye and amypola were answering questions and they were like Ryan Reynolds and he stands up because everybody's answering questions and he's like they're like how are you and he's like why what have you heard yeah they're both there yeah and him like lively were there and it was funny okay I saw I think I turned it off when they were doing the digital short with Andy Sandberg about anxiety everybody on SNL yeah worked on SNL had anxiety anxiety anxiety and IBS Funny.
Starting point is 00:43:32 Yeah. So, yeah, that was good for what I watched. I'll watch more clips of it today. Any highlight Mike from you? Anything with Eddie Murphy because he went away for so long and then it took him forever to come back in host. So I think getting to see him in sketches again, it's like, oh, he's still funny.
Starting point is 00:43:46 When they did Black Jeopardy and Eddie Murphy was Tracy Morgan next to Tracy Morgan who was playing a random person. Oh, I got to see. It was so funny because Eddie Murphy was being Tracy Morgan next to Tracy Morgan who was playing a different character. Like, that was super funny. Who do you think is done the most seasons ever on SNL Eddie? Keenan?
Starting point is 00:44:06 By far. Yeah. Because I feel like he's been on there forever. Like 38 seasons or something. I don't remember the actual number, but it's in 30s. Something like that, yeah. Who do you think is number two? I'm going from memory.
Starting point is 00:44:17 Gosh. Bill Hader? Colin Jost. Oh, I don't know that is. I think he's in the 30s and there's one other person in the 30s. You won't get this one. You'll know who it is. It's Hammond.
Starting point is 00:44:32 John. Oh, Darryl Hammond? Darryl Hammond. Yeah. Gosh, he was there with like Sandler and all them. Darryl Hammond. He did all the impressions, I think, right? Something.
Starting point is 00:44:41 Did he do a lot of people? I think so. Or like, Paul Gore. Yeah, he was doing the president. What was your favorite? What's like, what's your favorite S&L skit? Um, when Sandler would sing. Opera, like opera?
Starting point is 00:44:50 Sure, anything. Anytime Stanley would get his guitar and sing. I mean, that's why I was wanted to do like music because I knew I couldn't sing. But Adam Sandler can sing, but he doesn't sing hard on purpose because he wants to do jokes. but yeah the Sandler stuff was the best yeah he did a song last night he's gotten to be like a better singer now he was singing I was like oh he can actually like hit some notes now
Starting point is 00:45:09 and he can play too I'm telling you I watched him do something in the 90s because my algorithm is heavily SNL old clips and so I watched him get up and sing something from in like the 90s and he gets up and he's like who's a hoobo shubber hubby
Starting point is 00:45:25 I go play a song for you who we doby then he starts to sing for real and he goes hard and everybody's like what the crap and then he goes oh yeah Stanley was my favorite because of that I think my favorite sketch is Chris Farley down
Starting point is 00:45:42 in the van by the river oh yeah that's so good man I saw a montage of physical comedy and that was one of them where he kept jumping through tables and they had all the characters and they were showing all the physical comedy or at least a lot of it through the years dude some of that stuff hurt me to see
Starting point is 00:45:59 yeah Chevy Chase was like known for his fall apparently. He would fall like it looked like he was a dead body. And they started saying, okay, how are we going to fall this week? And they made it to a bit. He's like, I'm not falling this week. Boom! He'd fall. But the Mary Catherine Gallagher, you know, she's the schoolgirl with smell her armpits. How she would jump into the chairs?
Starting point is 00:46:17 Because she would boom, boom, boom. She'd fall into the chairs? I got to watch this. So yeah, I liked it. We don't watch all of it. And I started reading a book. A new book. SNL book? No, just the general book. I don't remember the names of song titles or books. So I started a new book last night. by the same person who did, I don't even remember that other book.
Starting point is 00:46:33 Oh, so you're saying you don't know the title of it. Okay. So you want to give a synopsis? Yeah. At the very first she sends an email. No, a past student of her sends an email. It's like, hey, I know you don't respond to a lot of emails, but I just wanted to reach out. My mom died, just updating you.
Starting point is 00:46:51 And she sends one back. He goes, hey, I just don't respond to a lot of emails because she's 70. And she's like, but I saw this and felt like I needed to. and then as she's writing the email, she's like, you know what? I read about your mom, I want to tell you a story. And so the whole story is about her responding to the email. Being telling a story to make him feel better, but she's like in her 70s. I don't know, I could find it.
Starting point is 00:47:12 It's pretty good. I read like 50 pages last night. How did you come across this book? It's called The Life Impossible. He wrote the Midnight Library and I read that and I liked it. I didn't know that I would. I don't even really, okay, look, sometimes I say I don't like musicals, but the ones I watch end up liking. You love La La La La Land.
Starting point is 00:47:31 La La La Land was awesome. I could list like five of them. I'm like, I'm not really a musical guy but man, get me in. Wicked. I mean, all them. Wicked. Great a showman you loved it. Greatest showman was awesome. Dude, we love that one. And I'm like, ah, musicals aren't for me. Dude, I'm going, Saldita. The Westwoods guy. Awesome.
Starting point is 00:47:48 Greece. I was in Greece in high school. Oh, geez. So, and then I'm like, I'm not a fiction guy because I like to read books where I feel like I'm learning. But man, any of the fiction books I read, they're awesome but this one's called The Life Impossible by Matt Hague and it came out late last year
Starting point is 00:48:05 yeah so that's what I did and then I read that I fell asleep for a little bit reading Mickey sleepy yeah me too
Starting point is 00:48:15 yeah like I'm trying to read the Bible in two years and I literally like get through one page and I'm like that's also are you reading it like written
Starting point is 00:48:25 in a current way I'm reading the G-Dog Bible the G-dog where it's like, yo, yo, Jesus walked down. Oh, you are reading it in the easy way. I have to. I can't understand the other one. The G-dog? That's what I call it. What is that? I don't know. I'll send it to you. It's called something. It's like written for youth to understand.
Starting point is 00:48:40 Yeah, but it's like, so Jesus got the wine and he's like telling his friends, telling his buddies the disciples like, hey, guys, this is the blood. Amen, brother. It's the only way I can understand it. That's fair. Yeah, but it might take me more than two years at that face. Yeah, but you could, like, why don't you read some of that, than read a book in between. No, I'm already asleep that point.
Starting point is 00:49:01 Like, I'm telling, I just start reading it. But like a different night. Oh, alternate a little bit? Yeah, like you could read the Bible Monday and read a bit of a book on Tuesday. Or do both in a day. You could read a book in the daytime. Oof, I don't have time for that. Reading books, and I don't, I go through seasons big time.
Starting point is 00:49:18 I'm not all a year book reader. I think I read 14 books last year. My wife read like 40. So I don't even win in my house. So I'm not big, always read a book guy. But I'll do 14 books in like four and a half months. And then I just, I'm like, I don't want to read. I want to get on Twitter or watch TikTok.
Starting point is 00:49:35 I definitely have seasons. But when I start to, when my vernacular is limited, I'm like, I got to start reading books again because I don't know that many words. Are you book guy though? Like if you really get into a book, are you taking it everywhere you go? It's really hard for a book to be that good.
Starting point is 00:49:51 So I read all my books on an iPad. So if I'm like getting my oil change or something, I'll just read it on my phone a little bit because of cloud. So it looks like you're just on your phone. Yes, I don't really take a book. No, I'm going to say no because it's rare. I would, but it's rare that a book gets me like that. Midnight Library was good.
Starting point is 00:50:10 The Chang Gang All-Stars, that was really good. Is that a movie? No. It probably will be, though. Sounds familiar. Yeah, it was awesome. So, okay, so we watch SNL. We watched All-Star Game. We read some books.
Starting point is 00:50:23 Back to the All-Star Game real quick. see just kind of how emotional everyone got? I didn't realize they've been doing that show. Those the Chuck and Shaq and Kenny and Ernie for like, is they seem like 30 years? Definitely. But they're not, they're all coming back. I saw Shaq just resigned.
Starting point is 00:50:38 Yeah. Oh, well, they're all, I mean, Charles Barkley was crying. Maybe it was before they got the news. I don't know. When did the news come in? Is it after the game? I saw Shaq had signed like a couple days ago. Okay.
Starting point is 00:50:50 Because even like Kevin Hart, who was hosting it. Maybe somebody looked that up. It was going away because TNT lost basketball They lost the rights But then it's I think they're still keeping that show Yes And Kevin Hart gave him like a bunch of fishing gear And tackle boxes because like
Starting point is 00:51:05 Hey guys are done you're retiring Like oh I don't know I could be missing on this I thought Shaq just re-signed I thought they were coming back Yeah Shaq on Valentine's Day Signed a new deal It says with TNT Sports
Starting point is 00:51:15 So that show is not coming back though So I guess the whole group's not The group's done Well I don't know It says the news means the cast of inside the NBA is staying together even as TNT is set to license out So why are they crying? No idea.
Starting point is 00:51:28 Edibles? In California. Maybe. Hey man, these things are strong. Wow, they even did a whole montage video of all their years together. Maybe it was like a 30th. Maybe it was TNT's
Starting point is 00:51:40 saying goodbye to them. And they probably, you know, they get to know all the producers and everybody there, so it's emotional for them. Okay, that makes sense. Got it. Yeah, it's moving to ESPN. ESPN.
Starting point is 00:51:49 But the show isn't, is it? is the show? Yeah, the show. The guys are moving to ESPN, it says. But that doesn't make sense because Shaq agreed to a deal with T&T. Yeah, I don't even care of that much. I was confused. 15 million a year. Take a break, Mike.
Starting point is 00:52:04 Yep. The 2026 NFL draft is here, and the NFL Daily podcast has it covered from all angles. Join me, Greg Rosenthal, and Jordan Roderig after night one on Thursday. Starting point is 00:52:41 A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care which I'm saying. Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger, than I ever imagined.
Starting point is 00:52:58 And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show. This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. One week, I'll take you behind the scenes of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment.
Starting point is 00:53:14 And the next, we'll talk about life, mental health, purpose, and even music. The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast. It's a space for honest conversations, stories that don't always get told, and for people who are chasing something bigger. So if you've ever supported me or you're just chasing down a dream,
Starting point is 00:53:30 this is right where you need to be. Listen to the Clifford show on the IHeard radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
Starting point is 00:53:56 And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends, Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care, so they take matters into their own hands.
Starting point is 00:54:22 I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. All right, we're back. How about this?
Starting point is 00:54:46 Top five stadiums in the NFL. Easy. Eddie Go, number one. Cowboys. Stadium, what he called? AT&T. That did not make the list. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:54:56 What? Casey? Oh, uh... Levi? That's a San Francisco 49-O-1. Levi? That's in the worst NFL stadium. That's a bottom line.
Starting point is 00:55:07 Titans? No, no. So USA Today and Yelp have come out with a list of the highest and lowest rated stadiums in the league. What? Oh, okay. SoFi's got to be on there. So they ranked them on a lot of things like game atmosphere, food. It's just a general rating overall.
Starting point is 00:55:27 Eddie, go again? Sofi. Sofi is the worst five. What are really? Yeah, SoFi is third from last. It looks so cool. A 2.9 out of five average rating. That's the Rams and Chargers.
Starting point is 00:55:39 Reid, you want to take a shot here? We got Little Caesars, that one. Are you talking about Caesars Dome? Yeah, Cesar's Dome. That's cool. I also thought it was a little Caesar Dome. That's not on the list. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:55:49 Dang. Casey, top five stadiums in the NFL. How about Pittsburgh Steelers? That would be Accrecher? Yeah, it used to be higher than anymore. Yes, it's the number three. 4.3 average rating. So it is vibe.
Starting point is 00:56:04 It's got to be vibe. Part of it is, yeah. I'm going to go to the Seahawks. Is that Lumen? Lumen is the number five. There we go. Yeah. The other 12th man or are they the first 12th man?
Starting point is 00:56:13 Yeah, who knows? What do you mean? The first? Well, Texas A&M. Oh, that's, that tradition goes along with that. Oh, yeah, yeah. Okay, so the Seahawks are at number five or the 4.1. The Steelers are number three, Eddie?
Starting point is 00:56:27 I mean, the Eagle Stadium looks pretty cool. Nah. Oh, I think I got one. Reed? Hmm. I was going to say Falcons for no reason. You're going to say a bird. It feels.
Starting point is 00:56:40 Yeah, no. Wrong. Go ahead. You got it. Lambo? Yeah, number one. 4.7. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:45 Dang. Number two isn't so much famous, but I think it's a mixture of both. Like, it's a, the vibe's pretty good, but also it's kind of new. Dolphins? I've been there. I saw a Super Bowl there. Oh, oh, okay. Lucas Oil?
Starting point is 00:57:06 Yes, Indianapolis, Lucas Oil, number two. 4.4. The Steelers are at number three. Denver in power field at mile highs at number four and number five is Lumen. The worst stadiums. The commander stadium Northwest and they're trying to get that thing moved to somewhere else. That's the worst. Levi's it second to worst. Sofi. Hard Rock for the dolphins. Why is SOFI? Maybe it's just stale in there? Yeah, it's probably because it is
Starting point is 00:57:31 exactly that. Very generic. Because it looks like really beautiful. And MetLife, the Jets and Giants at number five. Yeah, it had to be in there. Wait, so Titan was in the last five? Yeah, it's that bad. Really? Yeah. Is it because it's old?
Starting point is 00:57:43 It's just old and just like where it is in relation to like New York. Like it's out in Jersey and it's hard to get to and, you know, the turf sucks. They always get hurt all the time, all the athletes. So it's just, it's not a good time for anybody. A suggestion by someone who is not a New York sports fan because you can tell me if there is a local traditional reason I'm wrong. Why don't they dome that thing? Why don't they put out of dome? Because I don't, like, if you were to go to the Packers, you don't want Dom that.
Starting point is 00:58:08 That's an advantage. They're known for playing in the elements. Snow, yeah. They should. I don't really know the Jets or the Giants is being like, we got the elements. Come mess with us. Yeah, I think MetLife was built right before all these like hybrid stadiums or something. Oh, it's definitely old.
Starting point is 00:58:21 So like I just, yeah. And they have a cat problem, don't they? Like, don't they? Like, I was watching a game one time when the cat ran out. There's a lot of cats in the stadium. Well, how would you feel about the Patriots doming it up? Because I do think of them more so as a cold weather team. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:35 But not as like hard-nosed cold weather as the Packers. Not as the Packers. Like those are hard-nosed cold-weather teams that I would be weirded out if they got a dome. I think early on the Patriots, you really thought about that. Like the Peyton Manning days when he would lose in New England, it was in the snow usually. But I think the cold is definitely in their favor. I'd like to keep them out of the dome. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:56 Yeah, the hard thing about that is you have to go sit in it. Yeah, I'm not saying I'm going to the game. But people do, though. People love that stuff. I know. Like Buffalo, man. Oh, Buffalo. No dome. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:07 Like part of the appeal to Buffalo is it hurts. Their new one, I think that they're building, I think it's both, though, right? I don't know. Retractable. But even like going to Arkansas games, like, I want a dome. And we're not even, we're not even the north. Do college teams have domes? Like, I don't think there's one, right?
Starting point is 00:59:23 Yeah, because some of them play in multi-use facilities. Well, they'll play like in Atlanta. Syracuse has a dome. Carry your dome. They do? Yeah. Wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:31 So it's probably fewer and far between, but I think, Some of the places probably play in places that are also used as other. But I mean, Arkansas games, I just sit in a suite now. If I didn't, I wouldn't go. Being 44 now and an adult and having television do what it does, I'm not going to a game of setting the cold. It doesn't matter with the game. I'm not going to go to a game that's in the cold.
Starting point is 00:59:56 Would you rather do the suite or the field like McConaughey? Well, it depends what the weather is. Is it cold? No, just normal day. normal day I can't bounce back and forth McConaughey doesn't bounce you don't know that you know he's all the whole time oh they show him the whole time he's giving high-fives of the players he's in there when the team's
Starting point is 01:00:13 huddling he's calling plays he's got a headset calling plays with his cowboy hat I mean I've done both I think once you do the field thing a couple times you've done it a couple times you can't you can't even you can't even you have to if you're going to be like a non-player there's a certain line like you can't get in the other side of the field you can't get in the middle of the coaches, and you can't get up front if you do, you're behind everybody. So I'm going to go sweet. But much like going to a Super Bowl, once you go to a Super Bowl or two, you're like, okay, I've been. If it's not my team, I've seen everything surrounding it. Maybe you go to a second, but you're like, I've done the thing. I've checked it off the list.
Starting point is 01:00:53 Kind of that same situation. That's with a field. Yeah. Yeah. Been there. Until you do it, you're probably going to go being on the field, it is, until you do it once or twice and you can't see anything. It's like sitting front row at a concert. Certain concerts sucks because you're way too close. The speakers are shooting behind you. But until you're in one of those situations where you're on the very front and it's just miserable, why? Because you're six inches from a foot, like a literal human foot. You're really not getting anything. So you want to be like 12 rows back. But you have to do that a couple times so you know. Once I went to a Chris Rock show in Atlanta,
Starting point is 01:01:30 theater, big theater. Love Chris Rock. So I was like, we're in. We got front row seats. Paid the good money. I don't, I rarely pay for tickets
Starting point is 01:01:37 at this point in my life. I just have so many friends that do music or our promoters or do promotion for like my stand-up shows. I'm like, yeah, we'll get you. I paid for these tickets. Chris Rock, front row.
Starting point is 01:01:47 And it was the chairs up front. But I couldn't hear anything except what was coming from his mouth because the speakers were going behind us. Oh, weird. So I had to like turn my head and listen to his mouth to tell the jokes the whole time.
Starting point is 01:01:56 Yeah, and that's comedy. You want to hear what he's saying. It was terrible. I was close. Again, I was right by his foot. You can see him sweat a little bit. Yeah, but I had to listen. I couldn't really get it from the speakers.
Starting point is 01:02:08 I had to like, he had to hear him say it from his mouth. It sucked. And I was like, man, I paid all this money for these tickets and this blows. Seven more women have accused Ravens kicker, Justin Tucker of sexual misconduct. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 01:02:20 A total of 16 women now have accused him of exposing himself and other inappropriate behavior at Baltimore area of spas. That's from page six. I did see his defense come out and say He was never banned from those spas There was never any complaints from those spas And he continued to go there for years after
Starting point is 01:02:38 Which is just kind of weird That if that stuff was going on They didn't complain about him And then get him kicked out of those spas Which I don't know That's the defense talking That could be an attorney making stuff about who knows I would think though too
Starting point is 01:02:51 That you know It's a powerful athlete famous, big team. I don't think that's reason enough to not at least listen to what everybody has to say. And once the number gets to like 16. It's a lot. Even if like eight are lying. The numbers are still there.
Starting point is 01:03:13 That's tough. And again, we don't know. We weren't there. But if it turns out they didn't know, all these people didn't know each other. That's a tough one to bounce back from 16 different people. Travis Kelsey given a 30-day deadline. to decide on retirement. That's weird.
Starting point is 01:03:28 Why? Well, they have to decide if he's... Oh, contract, I guess. It's money-wise, yeah. Because he's owed... I thought the chiefs are like, hey, you got 30 days
Starting point is 01:03:34 make it for your mind. Mostly it's about the money. Yeah, that makes sense. And he's owed like 15 million or some... I've gone from memory here. Decent chunk of change. Yeah. And so if he's going to be a role player
Starting point is 01:03:45 and come back, he would want to restructure his deal. They'd want him to. Yeah. Definitely has to do that. Oh, the hockey game match, whatever it was last night. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:03:53 What do you call hockey? Match your game. It's a match. It's got to be a match, right? Hockey match sounds right. It's got to be a match. You can tell we're not hockey guys. And you know, you're just using a sentence
Starting point is 01:04:01 if it sounds normal, that's it. Yeah, there's a hockey match. Oh, I don't know. Hockey match feels weird. Soccer match sounds funny. My definition, it is a match. It is a match. There you go.
Starting point is 01:04:10 They had three fights in the first like 10 seconds. Now, I didn't turn it on at the very beginning. I turned it on, I was flipping through a bunch of crap, but I didn't see the fights until I got on TikTok and saw the fights at the fights at the the kachucks. And two brothers were fighting. The kikikokokks? C C-C-C-C-C-C-C-C-C?
Starting point is 01:04:25 C-C-C-C? But yeah, it's like a T-C-C-H something. T-C-C-C-C-C. And they were the ones fighting? Not each other. Oh, I thought they're playing each other. That's hockey right there. That would be cool.
Starting point is 01:04:36 But they're playing for the same country, so they're not fighting each other. Got it, got it. Dang. I also saw, too, that locally there was like a storm or something, so the weather kind of took over and they put hockey in a little box and people were complaining about. We don't care about those possible tornadoes. That's what happened to me. My fiance was like, you're watching the news? I was like, no, you see the little screen in the bottom there?
Starting point is 01:04:57 I'm trying to watch hockey. Yeah, but I mean, you know, tornado is kind of more important than hockey. You ever see the people that, like, the bachelor's on and tornado warning comes on? And the news is that I want to be like, stop calling us complaining about taking down the bachelor. Like, we're saving people's lives here. When I worked for the news, like, it's a real thing. People would call the time. You don't have Jeopardy on.
Starting point is 01:05:18 I watch it every day at the same time. Because of Storm? Because of break-in story that we were doing or whatever. Yeah, that doesn't really happen as much with streaming because it's not local. So I guess I'd be watching a streaming more than I would a local affiliate at this point. YouTube TV, we almost had a disaster there. Do you guys use YouTube TV? It's awesome.
Starting point is 01:05:37 So they almost lost all their paramount, which was NCAA basketball, March Madness, Masters. They did a deal to keep them on for a bit longer as they negotiated. But it feels like this is happening on every cable system, every, everything all the time. And when it ever... Oh, I just got an Amber alert. You guys got it on your phone? Yeah, I just felt something. Well, let's see what we got.
Starting point is 01:05:56 Speaking of breaking news is... Nope. Oh, got it. Oh, there it is. Kingsport, Tennessee. What are they looking for? Reed. Reed, do not tell you,
Starting point is 01:06:09 you're here. She's in St. Louis. They almost lost... They almost lost all those channels that have been a disaster. Yeah. YouTube TV's awesome. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:19 Because the four boxes, watching sports. Yeah, for March Madness. We don't do that on Hulu. The four boxes, for anything. I mean, NFL, if you have the NFL Sunday ticket, you can watch the four games. Can you do like four reality shows? I've never tried.
Starting point is 01:06:33 I don't know. You can't do four of any things because I've tried that before and it's not worked. I don't know what the rules are, but I have matched up some one-on-ones, some twos. But I don't, I've tried things too that haven't worked. But you're watching your phone easily, even four screen on your phone, which is awesome. Cool. That's really cool. That's it. We're done. Mike. We're good. Anything we forgot to do? No, we're all good. All right. Thank you, everybody. You can follow on YouTube. Read at Bobby Bones Sports. You still giving away money or what? Yeah, every now and then, you know.
Starting point is 01:07:11 A couple dollars. Throw some comments. You might get a little cash in your way. Oh, is that? You're looking for comments on the videos? Yeah, comments, man. Okay. Why are you talking like that? I don't know. I don't know, man. I get excited. I get excited. The G Bible. Yo, yo, man. Walking on water. All right, we'll see you guys. Yeah, you guys have a good rest of the week. We'll see you guys.
