The Bobby Bones Show - 25W: Eddie Thinks Bobby Was Keeping a Secret from Him & Is Upset About It + Why a Powerplant Conspiracy Could Be the Reason for the 49ers Injuries + Similarities Between Garth Brooks and CFB Coaches with Andy Staples

Episode Date: January 12, 2026

Eddie thinks Bobby’s been keeping something from him — and he’s not thrilled about it — so they clear it up on the air, and Bobby explains why he thinks Eddie misunderstood. Th...en the guys dig into a wild theory floating around: could a nearby powerplant “conspiracy” actually be tied to the 49ers’ injury issues? They break down what’s being claimed, what (if anything) lines up, and where it goes off the rails. Plus, Andy Staples joins to talk college football — including the odd ways CFB coaches and Garth Brooks are more alike than you’d expect.   Download the DraftKings Sportsbook App today: https://dkng.co/bobbysports If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, crisis counseling and referral services can be accessed by calling 1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537) (IL/IN/MI/NJ/PA/WV/WY), 1-800-NEXT STEP (AZ), 1-800-522-4700 (CO/NH), 888-789-7777/visit http://ccpg.org/chat (CT), 1-800-BETS OFF (IA), 1-877-770-STOP (7867) (LA), 877-8-HOPENY/text HOPENY (467369) (NY), visit OPGR.org (OR), call/text TN REDLINE 1-800-889-9789 (TN), or 1-888-532-3500 (VA).21+ (18+ WY). Starting point is 00:04:12 Thank you. There's a lot of places to start. Congrats to Kevin's New England Patriots for winning the game last. Let's go, boys. Thank you. And congrats to you guys because that keeps us alive. It's our New England Patriots at this point. Well, we bought them in a league.
Starting point is 00:04:26 We only lost a little bit because they kept us from losing a lot. Yeah. Yeah, so we owe a lot of money in that league. What's the number now? Yeah. Let's talk about later. Dude, we don't need to talk about that now. We probably owe like $5,000.
Starting point is 00:04:39 I just... Thanks, Brandon. Sorry, bro. We just started off on a great foot here. Patriots winning, and Brandon's like, how much you guys? by the way? He didn't make anything worse. Well, yeah, I didn't really want to know that number. Just because you run from reality doesn't mean reality doesn't exist.
Starting point is 00:04:51 Right. It's right there. So, but you had to feel good because it was an ugly game. It's a boring game. Very. Who cares? When the game? You win. Defense looked great. I'll take that. And I'll take a win all day. Drake May had his moments for sure, but man, he had a couple great moments. Dropping dimes. His nickname is growing on me.
Starting point is 00:05:10 Did Drake, Drake, Drake, May? Drake, Drake, May? Drake, Drake, May. Yeah. He doesn't need any name It's his own name Is it so good? Drake, Drake, Drake, May, Drake, yeah, whatever.
Starting point is 00:05:19 It's hard to say, that's why I don't really say it But yeah, it's cool, I guess. Man, those boys were getting knocked around last night at the game, those quarterbacks, both of them. Oh, yeah. At the end, I legit felt bad for Herbert. Oh, yeah. I was like, oh man, if you're like his family member,
Starting point is 00:05:31 I'm like, is he okay? He was taking some shots. Yeah, dude. We can roll through the games quickly. Eddie didn't get to watch the Jags and Bills at all. I didn't, dude. I was so, we were dealing with some family drama. I had to call a family powwow meeting
Starting point is 00:05:45 and it was like, I know that this is probably going to I'm going to miss 30 minutes of the game but we should do this. Dude, it ended up going three hours. Like we talked about so much and then I look and I'm like, oh my gosh, I miss the entire Bill's Jaguars game. It's a good game.
Starting point is 00:05:57 So good. It's probably the best one. When they picked him up and like tush pushed him into the end zone. That was crazy. That was crazy. It ended up being a yard short, but they were fourth and one trying to tush push him
Starting point is 00:06:08 and their offensive line basically picked him and carried him all the way into the end zone. Was this the very end? Like 10 yards? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. That's when I made the joke and you didn't laugh at it because I don't think you saw it. No, I mean, a couple things.
Starting point is 00:06:18 Like, I didn't laugh at that because I didn't watch the game. And then you guys posting your betting slips, guys, I'm trying to take a little break from gambling, just a little break. And that's almost like you guys posting like if I'm a drug addict and trying to quit and posting like a drug. Bagged Coke? Yeah, dude. Like, I'm not looking at that. I hit a big parlay, like a nine. It's not a gamer because I hit it.
Starting point is 00:06:39 I was doing a bunch of prop bets. Yeah, nine leg. and then I thought this is all extra money anyway so let me try to catch up and I bet a big one last night the Eagles and I needed two more
Starting point is 00:06:50 rushing yards from McCaffrey and two more passing yards and I would have hit for thousands of dollars I could have cashed out because I think I bet like 400 bucks on that one to win close to 4,000 I could have cashed out at like 800 I'm like I'd just need two more yards
Starting point is 00:07:05 Yeah it's a lock You're thinking you're going to get that I didn't hit that was the closest I've ever been to a to a Big one without hitting it. And did you have a scratch on that one too?
Starting point is 00:07:14 A kiddle? Yeah, because Kittle went down in the first half. Tours Achilles. Yeah, dude. That early exit is legit though. I mean, sucks for Kittle, obviously, but as it better, it's like, okay. And that's got to happen before the half, right? Yes, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:26 Yes. Draft Kings with the early exit was legit. Yes. So games, Rams and Panthers. Oh, we almost had that, dude. At first, you thought it was all Rams. Then the Panthers got back in the mix, and not only that, then you thought the Panthers were going to win the game.
Starting point is 00:07:39 Yeah, I thought they had. had the last drive. And then Rams pull it out. It's like you said though, dude. Like when it comes down to the last two minutes and there's a kickoff and they don't make it in that zone, they're going to be in field goal range in two plays. That's kind of what happened. Have you officially stopped pounding? I have stopped pounding. I stopped right after the game. But I was proud. Moral victory. Not a big moral victory guy. But for the Panthers, they were 10 point dogs. It was a good game. I think you feel good. They took Bryce Young's fifth year option in his contract. So they're not.
Starting point is 00:08:10 they're not not taking it and they're not offering him a new deal right now but they're going to take his fifth year I mean I think he's their guy yeah I don't think they draft a quarterback one more year as far as to see if you're your guy guy like long I don't think they draft a quarterback
Starting point is 00:08:25 in the first couple to few rounds no no because they have other stuff that they're like okay well if we can get this far if we draft a I don't even know another running back or something like that that'll take us the next step they just updated if you guys have no NFL money oh no can we wait
Starting point is 00:08:38 let's just get this why because it just puts me in a bad mood. It puts me in a different mental space. You got to be stronger. You got to compartmentalize. Dude, that number is so big that when you say it out loud, my mind just starts drifting
Starting point is 00:08:53 to like second job, by a lawnmower. We're at minus $5,000 right now. So, I mean, that's like the best weekend we've had in a long time. We only lost 100 bucks. We just hoped on one team. Well, we have a game tonight.
Starting point is 00:09:07 Oh, shoot. So it wound up being minus 51. What do we need tonight? It doesn't matter both teams. So, but it's 25 for me and 12-5 for each of you. We need the Patriots to keep winning. Yes, we do. We need them to win the Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:09:18 Yeah, and then they play the winner of the game tonight. So do you guys have a preferred? I pick Pittsburgh to win because everybody else is not picking Pittsburgh to win. Everybody else picked the Texans. I would rather than play Pittsburgh. Me too. Because Pittsburgh kind of sucks. They came from weak division.
Starting point is 00:09:33 The Texans defense is really freaking good. Yeah, the Texans defense aligned. I mean, the Chargers saw what they did in the Patriots. That Texans will, that defense will worry me. Packers and Bears, really good game. Great game. So good. Ugly at first. So not a good. When I say really good game, the end of the game was really good.
Starting point is 00:09:47 And the Bears were down. That fourth down, that Caleb Williams to, was it Roma Dunesay? Yeah. That was it. That was the play. That was nasty. That just seems to be the way the Bears played all year. It's true. Just come from behind and win the game.
Starting point is 00:10:03 Live by the sword, die by the sword. They just haven't died by the sword yet. But there's only max three more swords to even try to live by. I know. I just couldn't believe all the fourth downs Ben Johnson was going for. Especially early. Oh, man. Oh, yeah. There's a couple early.
Starting point is 00:10:17 Like, dang, dude. What do you think about Ben Johnson and the handshake? I think here's my honest opinion. I think they're manufacturing a little rivalry here. And I don't know. They obviously don't like each other, the Packers and Bears. That's been a hundred-year rivalry. No doubt.
Starting point is 00:10:32 I think the fact they split. I think the fact that the Bears are kind of getting good again because Packers have been killing them over the last. 15 years. Yeah, it's been a bit. Aaron Rogers owned them. He said so. I own you.
Starting point is 00:10:47 So, whenever Ben Johnson got the job at his press conference, he was like, I can't wait to beat Matt LaFleur twice a year. And he did. Well, yeah, he did now in the playoffs. One-on-one regular season. And that's what he was referring to. But, you know, they had short handshakes once LaFleur hit him on the back. Then it was another quick one.
Starting point is 00:11:07 It was kind of douchebaggy. but I think, I just think it's manufactured. I think they are purposefully like, hey, look, I'm going to act like I don't want to shake your hand, right? But they may end up firing Lafleur now. I saw this morning that they're trying to work a new deal, actually, to extend them. They're trying to keep them.
Starting point is 00:11:22 Oh, they are? Yeah. I thought they may move on. That's what a lot of people are saying, but now they're going the opposite way. And they're like, oh, we're going to try to keep them around and signed an extension. Good for him. I think he's a really good coach.
Starting point is 00:11:32 He is. But, man, they blew it. You think of Michael would have played? They would have won that game? It's easy to say. It's easy to say, but probably. Because he had been the best player on the field, period. I'm going to say that, but yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:44 Probably. Chargers and Patriots, Patriots, win. Bill's Jags. I missed the Niners Eagles game. You did? You were a really good game, too. Well, I miss a second half, the part that's fun, you know. No, I was on a date night.
Starting point is 00:11:57 I was like, she's like, come on. Just like one game. Okay, we can go for one. Playoff football. Yeah, but then the Patriots were coming, and I knew, she knew, like, after that time, when a set game started, it was all. Patriot football from then.
Starting point is 00:12:10 So I gave her a half. It was really good. Yeah. It's a really good game, dude. Maybe the best. We just tell each other when you missed it. I said it's the best of the weekend. It was a bunch of really good games. Sunday was really good. Saturday was great too. I bet the 49ers a few weeks ago as my future. They gave me good enough odds to be invested.
Starting point is 00:12:32 So I bet a thousand bucks on that game, or on them to win. So it's up, it's 23,000. My cash out's not that good yet because they have to play Seattle next. If they beat Seattle, I think they can get to the Super Bowl. Yeah. But Seattle just served him some terrible tubby medicine. I have a feeling it'll be, it probably won't be that pretty. The story about the 49ers and that power plant that's near them is crazy.
Starting point is 00:12:57 Because Kittle got hurt again. Yeah. Because he has been hurt, but this is really hurt. Like his Achilles is torn, right? Yeah, you see it again. So I sent this to Kevin last night and I'd heard about this. all last week. The 49ers are statistically the most injured team in the NFL
Starting point is 00:13:14 over the past decade. And so the story came out that there is, like what do they call that place next to it? A power plant. Is it a nuclear? No, I don't know, but it's not nuclear. If it says power, it's not nuclear.
Starting point is 00:13:31 Extremely low frequency magnetic field. Oh, my. And like the average is it like some fractional number, but what they have is so much higher and they think that there's probably a causation that why people are getting injured in San Francisco's going more than anywhere else.
Starting point is 00:13:49 Yeah, because it says it impacts your collagen on your body and so all these injuries that they're having are like collagen-rich injuries so like your Achilles, your tendons. Whoa. They've suffered far more full Achilles and Patela tendon ruptures
Starting point is 00:14:05 than league average along with recurrent grade three hamstring and calf tears and high-en ankle syndemosis, I probably say that wrong injuries, tearing the ligaments containing the shin bones, no other franchise, even running those identical schemes on the same hybrid turf, because it was always turf, turf, turf, turf, turf, turf, but now they're looking at teams that have the same turf, and it's not the same with them. Yeah. And I think they play on grass, don't they? In early 2025, they may practice on turf, though, the grass turf. Is the practice there near Levi's
Starting point is 00:14:35 stadium? Yeah, it's right. Yeah, it's there. It's like in between the plant and the stadium, basically. Oh, dang, I didn't know that. In early 2025, 49ers guard retired John Feliciano let slip a locker room theory that has circulated among players for years. Players have joked around about there being an electrical substation right next to the practice field and how that
Starting point is 00:14:53 has led to the Niners' injury problems. So, what about this when you read it makes you think it could probably be true? That it's something scientifically that is way above my head, but it all makes sense in the same time. So I don't understand exactly what they're talking about
Starting point is 00:15:10 as far as the frequency and the numbers and all that. But this guy literally who did this article, his name is Peter Cowan. He has a video out there where he's on the field measuring the frequency and he's saying like, hey, this is normal like two, whatever. But these are at nine. Millagoss, I think is what it's called.
Starting point is 00:15:29 Guys, it's right there. Milligoths. Yeah, Milagos. I've never heard of Milagos before I saw this. Me neither. But yeah, it was like it's between like seven, like between one and two is normal and they would they would always find this is between seven and nine yeah that is
Starting point is 00:15:44 crazy guys and they're practicing i mean and even though you're not practicing you're around it let me tell you this this plant is double the size of the stadium his mechanism claim non-thermal emf weakens collagen integrity over time making routine football loads more likely to produce catastrophic soft tissue failure i'm sold didn't take much didn't take much i had no i mean they it's where there's normally a parking lot at the stadium, there is a power plant. Yeah, we have a map.
Starting point is 00:16:15 Yeah. We're studying the map and the topology. And they also, he was also saying that they're like, oh, it was tested, like it got, you know,
Starting point is 00:16:25 it's official, it's okay, but all, while they're safe. But those same numbers or whatever tests they do were like approved in the 90s. This is 30 plus years later
Starting point is 00:16:34 where it's like, okay, can we redo these tests again? Right. That's like, you know, when they have those schools where like teachers and students are getting cancer
Starting point is 00:16:42 and they're like, there's got to be something in this area. And it ends up being something in the water that they don't know or something like electromagnetic. Yeah. Are you guys worried about when we go? Well, we're there quick. Okay. And we won't be on the field. Although I don't think Eddie's going. Just don't walk.
Starting point is 00:16:58 The hell are you guys talking about? What? Oh, sorry. What are you all talking about? Well, we're going to the Super Bowl. You guys are going to the Super Bowl? For a doubt of the show. Right. Not the game. Not the game. Who knows if we go to the game or not? The three of you guys are going to the Super Bowl and no one told me this.
Starting point is 00:17:14 But all three of us work... What is that? Up there. That's weird. All three of us work on lots to say. No, I get it. But none of you guys told me you were going to the Super Bowl. Not one. Bobby? I'm not going to the Super Bowl. I cannot believe you didn't tell me you're going to the Super Bowl. I don't know that I'm going to go to the game this year. Oh, okay. Same. Okay. But we're going to go and do interviews.
Starting point is 00:17:34 Yeah, yeah. So that's what he means. We're going up there for media days. Yeah, we're still going. Like last year. I don't know if we're going to say for the Super Bowl. I don't know about the game. I think Kevin thinks you're going to the, you guys are going to the game. No.
Starting point is 00:17:47 No, but we're going to the Super, like we're going to, Brandon's saying we're going to San Francisco. What are we going to San Francisco for? The Super Bowl. Yeah, it really wasn't a thing. We weren't keeping it for me. No. Promise. You guys would tell me, you guys would tell me if you go to the Super Bowl?
Starting point is 00:18:01 Yeah, I'll send you a picture when we're there. Dude, what if the Patriots make it? I know. Oh, my God. This is a, I know. I know. ahead of myself, but if they make it. And you got to pay all that money for NFL League, and then you're going to try to buy Super Bowl tickets?
Starting point is 00:18:12 Jeez, man. I know. What do you do there? You know what? Credit card? You did see last year where the tickets dropped like crazy the closer it got to the game. Yeah. And, yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:27 And if your own team is in it, have you ever been with all your wins? Heck no. When you were younger? No. No, I don't even think I've never even been to a playoff game. For the Patriots? For the Patriots? Yeah, yeah, yeah, for the Patriots.
Starting point is 00:18:41 So, yeah, it's definitely a thought that's crossed my mind already. I'm not trying to get ahead of myself here. You're going to be there already there, though. I know. If I'm already there, then it's kind of like... You've got to focus on the Steelers or the Texans first. Exactly. Keep your focus on the game ahead.
Starting point is 00:18:56 Hey, one game at a time, guys, okay? You know what's going to end up being the Bills and Patriots again, right? I'm down with that. That would be cool. Because then we get them at home, which is good. Because they split, right? Yeah. the last game they beat you guys pretty good.
Starting point is 00:19:09 Well, we were up 21-0 and then they came back. And then they kind of ran away. Yeah, they beat you pretty good. And they beat you. Yeah. One in one. At the end of the game, they beat you.
Starting point is 00:19:18 We'll come back and talk college football with Andy Staples in just a second. One of my favorite. We get into concerts as well. So we'll talk with Andy Staples next. Traff King Sportsbook, the number one sports book for live betting is making every snap, every drive.

Very debatable. And I was their most loyal and sometimes only fan. I love this game. I love its history, it's hope, it's hard. heartbreak, and above all, it's beauty.
Starting point is 00:23:07 Together, we'll find out why, of all the unimportant things, football, soccer, is the most important. Listen to the away end with Daniel Auerkone and John Green on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. You can have opinions. You can have like a strong stance. And then there's your body having its own program. I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive. scientist and hosts of the podcast a slight change of plans, a show about who we are and who we become when life makes other plans. We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better
Starting point is 00:23:47 navigate these periods of turbulence and transformation. There is one finding that is consistent, and that is that our resilience rests on our relationships. I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change. We have to be willing to live. We have to be willing to live. with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes. Listen to a slight change of plans on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I feel like it was a little bit unbelievable until I really start making money. It's Financial Literacy Month,
Starting point is 00:24:26 and the podcast, Eating While Broke, is bringing real conversations about money, growth, and building your future. This month, hear from top streamer, Zoe Spencer, and venture capitalist Lakeisha Landrum-Pierre, as they share their journeys from starting out to leveling up. If I'm outside with my parents and they're seeing all these people come up to me for pictures, it's like, what? Today now, obviously, it's like 100%.
Starting point is 00:24:49 They believe everything. But at first it was just like, you got to go get a real job. There's an economic component to community striving. If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail. And what I mean by fail is they don't have money to pay for food. They cannot feed their kids. They do not have homes. Communities don't work unless there's money.
Starting point is 00:25:08 flowing through them. Listen to Eating While Broke from the Black Effect Podcast Network on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Hey, let's get over to our talk with National College Football Reporter Andy Staples. Andy covers college football for On Three Sports and has his own podcast called Andy and Ari on three, which you can listen to, which you can watch on YouTube, one of my favorite guests, also a big music fan. So let's get over now. Here he is, Andy Staples.
Starting point is 00:25:35 All right, we're joined now by Andy Staples, one of my favorites. you have so many and I'm going to do a quick promo here but you've got Andy and Ari which I listen to and watch on YouTube but then you have Andy Staples on three which is just solo I've not heard the solo pod no no no that's that's the old show oh okay good that's why before we before we stole Ari and brought him back into the fold I was going solo see what you do on the podcast God bless you I don't I don't do solo well and I know like on your on your show you have your team to help you. And that's what I needed R-E-4.
Starting point is 00:26:14 Well, I felt like such a casual, because I was like, I don't know that when I listened to the other one. So, okay, good. I don't feel like such a casual anymore. Yeah, now, that was the first year when I was just floating by myself and saying, where'd my friend go? What happened? And contracts are contracts, and we took care of that.
Starting point is 00:26:31 Well, let's start with talking about the national championship game. Do you think there's anything to it since it's in Miami, and it is basically a home game for Miami. Do you think that will affect anything? Well, if Miami were a more traditional college football crowd, maybe, but I'm looking at the price of these tickets, I think the Indiana people are having an effect on that too. And I was also at the Peach Bowl,
Starting point is 00:26:56 which is the most dominant I've ever seen one fan base take over a bowl game. I mean, it felt like an Indiana home game, and I'm pretty sure the Falcons crowd has never gotten that loud in that building. So I've got a feeling that there's going to be plenty of Indiana fans there too. Now, like the Nebraska fans will tell you from way, way back in the day, when they would play Miami in the Orange Bowl, a lot of times with a national title on the line or one of them trying to win a national title that would be a Miami home game and it would feel like Miami had an advantage. So maybe, but I would imagine that the Indiana folks, because of how rare this is, because, you know, they've been. through so much. This is one of the losingest programs in college football history. I think they are going to come out in very strong numbers, and I don't think it's going to feel like anybody's
Starting point is 00:27:47 home game in particular. I think the numbers are going to be a little bit even. Do you credit that to Indiana having such a large alumni base, the largest, or the fact they've never had good football? Both. I think it's both. I think this group's been activated. I mean, they've been dying for this. They've always had, well, always is not, they had great basketball for a long time. They had great basketball for a long time that they would tell you it's not been as good as they want it to be in the last few years. But they've never had this in football. They've never experienced this. So this is such a new thing. For the Indiana fans, like none of this has ever happened in their lifetimes. They are going to soak up every moment of this. Now, I'm watching Kurt Sidetti do this,
Starting point is 00:28:26 and I think they're probably going to be doing this for a few years as long as he's there. But if I'm them and I've waited this long, I'm snapping it up. I don't care how much the tickets cross. And it's funny, Bobby, because that same stadium about a year ago, Taylor Swift was finishing up the Erez tour. And my daughter, you know, was dying to go. And she's like, I get it. The tickets are too expensive. My wife wakes up the morning of the show in Miami. We live five and a half hours from Miami. And she's like, the tickets dropped overnight. We're going. You're buying the tickets now. And you know what? I'm so glad I did because my daughter got to meet Taylor Swift's mom and had the time of her life. And my wife and my daughter
Starting point is 00:29:10 had this incredible experience. If you're an Indiana fan, you can have that experience. You know, think about all the fathers and sons and mothers and daughters who grew up loving the Hoosiers who get to experience this now. So I bet they're not going to let a little thing like a very expensive ticket. Stop them. Did you go to the Taylor Swift show or just your wife and daughter? I had to work. I was pissed because I'm the swifty of the parental unit. I'm the Swifty. My wife, not. And she's like, yeah, she's got some pretty good songs. I'm like, oh, come on. What did your wife think about the show? Loved it. Love it. She said it was, you know, one of the best concerts she's ever been to. You know, she's, she's partial to the Garthbrook show she saw at the swamp
Starting point is 00:29:52 at Florida in 2019, but that's just because she's partial to Garth, I think. But yeah, it's, it's one of those things where I was dying inside because I had to work and I'm getting the text updates. But I was so glad that my daughter got to experience it because it was something that she and her mom are going to share forever. I'll get back on sports here, although I can talk concerts for like two hours. So if we go over and we look at Indiana this year, and a lot of people, again, it's recent see possibly biased where they're comparing it to the borough, LSU Tigers, you know, when they had Justin Jefferson and Jamar Chase, the team is as good as that team. Is this Indiana team as good as that team? Or is that just we're looking at it now? So we want to talk about it.
Starting point is 00:30:33 it. I don't know. I don't know if any team could be as talented as that team in this era. I think it's going to be hard. We'll have to see how does Elijah Serrat do in the NFL? How does Omar Cooper do in the NFL to get a sense of exactly how talented this team was? But I think it's harder to create a team as deep as that team was because remember, that was pre-changing the transfer rules. Like if you were an undergrad, you had to sit out of year if you transferred. You could only transfer and play right away if you're a graduate student. And so it was pre-NIL. It was very different. It's crazy because it's only been six years since that season, but it may as well be two different sports in terms of roster building. What's the best concert you ever been to, Andy? Oh, God. Yeah, it's a tough one.
Starting point is 00:31:19 We're ready for that one. That is a tough one. That is a tough one. Well, I mentioned, so I also had to work. I was, the SEC invited us to referee or officiate the Georgia Spring game. so I was the line judge in the Georgia Spring game with an actual SEC line judge showing me what to do and what not to do on the day that Garth played the swamp, which I had a ticket for and couldn't go. But I did see him at the Orlando Arena when I was 15 years old, and that was spectacular.
Starting point is 00:31:49 My first concert ever, Bobby, was a Jimmy Buffett show at Carol Wins, which is the amusement park on the North Carolina, South Carolina-South Carolina border. I was four years old. I fell asleep. Can't imagine what might have made me drift off to sleep with what aroma in the air might. might have done that. But then in college, I got to go see Jimmy in Tampa, and that was
Starting point is 00:32:07 spectacular for me because I grew up a parrot head and like my dad would make fun of me because you, like, you fell asleep at a Jimmy Buffett concert. So I had to make up for that. So those are probably my two favorites that I've been to. The coolest thing about a Garth Brooks show is he plays all the hits. Like even if he has new stuff out, he makes sure there may be one or two new, maybe, but it is all hits when you watch Garth. So my 20th anniversary is in July. And I was talking to my wife about this. We actually have to figure out if our kids' schedules can sync up on this.
Starting point is 00:32:41 But we're in July. But in late June, in Hyde Park in London, there is a Garth Brooks and Zach Brown Van show. And I was thinking maybe that's how we celebrate our anniversary. Yeah, that would be cool. I didn't know you're such a Garth guy. My favorite guard story on April Fool's Day, like four years ago. I got a call
Starting point is 00:33:01 and I know Garth a little bit because we've done some stuff together and I got a call from a number that I didn't recognize. I didn't answer it and then I got a text from that same number that was like, hey, this is Garth. And it's April Fool's Day. So I had a Garth cell in my phone but it wasn't that number and it's April Fool's Day. So he's like, hey, I want to ask you to come open for me at one of my stadium shows. Are you around? And this is for sure
Starting point is 00:33:22 an April Fool's prank. No doubt. So I'm like, hey, I'll call me in like two hours. I'll be off the air. I'll be home. And so it's like, okay. And so I tell my wife, hey, somebody's trying to get me. So I put it on speakerphone. And this person who's acting like, Garth is like, hey, I want you to come and open up this show. I'm from Arkansas. So it was Razorback Stadium. And it's like, okay, who is this really? And he goes, literally, it's Garth. And my wife's like, you need to chill out. That's freaking Garth Brooks. And it was. It just happened to be on April Fool's Day. So in front of 120,000 people because they allowed the grounds. Yeah, the whole field. Yeah. We got to, I got to play at, and Garth was so cool. He said, before he went on, he said, hey, you can have the whole stage because he does that in the round. And mostly when there's an opener hits, they don't get the whole stage. You get your little section. Garth's like run all the way around. It was super cool. So I'm a big Garth guy as well. So I hope you guys get to go to that show. His live show is unbelievable. Funny story about that. So my coworker Brett McMurphy at On 3, who I worked with years and years ago at the Tampa Tribune, Brett and Garth went to the same high school. So Garth was the quarterback. and Brett was the running back. And so they know each other very well. And I ended up interviewing Garth for Series XM when they announced that stadium tour
Starting point is 00:34:39 that we're both talking about. And it was funny because my co-host that day was Jeff Schwartz, the former offensive lineman played at Oregon. And he's like, I don't really know any Garth Brooks songs. I listen to EDM, so you're just going to handle all the questions.
Starting point is 00:34:51 And so, you know, I had Brett feed me stuff. But it was funny because, you know, on those, you never know, and Garth was doing a junk at a cross. a bunch of different series XM channels. And I think they were introducing the Garth's channel that day too. But you never know with somebody if they really, because Garth is an experienced performer.
Starting point is 00:35:11 He knows when to be on and how to do it. So you never know if they're really interested in the thing that your channel talks about or not. But I did with him because I asked him an Oklahoma State question. Obviously, for those who don't know, Garth was a javelin thrower at Oklahoma State. And it's still a huge Oklahoma State fan. But you never know how big a fan.
Starting point is 00:35:29 fan somebody is. And this is when Taylor Cornelius was the Oklahoma State quarterback. He was only the starter, I think, for one year. And I asked Garth in Oklahoma State question. And he's like, well, you know, Corn Dog had a pretty bad game that game. And I was like, okay, you know, you know Taylor Cornelius is called Corndog. You are a ball nowhere here. So we're, we're in a, we're in a safe space now. And we had the most fun interview, except I got in trouble with my wife, Bobby, because I got a little flustered because I said my wife's going to be the show. I can't be the show. He goes, what's her favorite song? I said the dance. The dance was my mom's favorite song. The river is my wife's favorite song. I was like, oh, God, I messed that up. And I knew I messed
Starting point is 00:36:10 it up as soon as it came out of my mouth. There are only three people that I feel our next level in making you feel like you're the only person in the room that I've dealt with. When they come in, you're convinced that they know you and love you. Garth is one. I think Taylor went to the Garth school of that, because Taylor is just like that as well. When she comes in, you're convinced. You're and she is so equipped because they've told her who she's talking to. She looks you in the eyeballs and she like makes you feel. Again, like you've heard that about Bill Clinton and stuff. Like when he would talk to you, you'd feel like the only person in the room.
Starting point is 00:36:40 And Dolly. Those are the three that I've spent time with where you leave going, that's my new best friend. It's interesting because there are some coaches that are like that. There are coaches who, and you can tell that they recruit that way. I'll give you an example for one. Dan Quinn, the Washington Commanders coach. He's like that. When you meet Dan Quinn, you feel like you have known him for your
Starting point is 00:36:58 entire life. And you may have just met him five minutes ago. And that's why he was very briefly a college coach. He was the defensive coordinator at Florida under Will Mustchamp. And I've told athletic directors time and time again, I'm like, look, I know he's got an NFL head coaching job. He's probably not interested. But if your job opens, you should at least call because there will be no better recruiter in the world than this guy if he becomes a college head coach. That's interesting. Who else? Because I've spent some good time with Shane Beamer, and I really like Shane, and I felt like Shane and I were best friends. Oh, Shane connects. Yes. It's that. It's that. that trait. Who else have you met that you feel that way about? I mean, the guy that just left
Starting point is 00:37:33 Arkansas, Sam Pittman. Sam Pittman is one of the most genuine people you'll ever meet. He's awesome. And Kirby smarts like that, too, if you're a football player. Like, I think with Kirby and with Nick Saban, if you are not a player, if you don't, if you not earned their respect as a football player, you don't get the same level of engagement. But if you are a player, that connection, you can see immediately. How was Sabin when he recruited? Because did he just recruit off I'm Nick Saban? Or again, was there like you're talking about that connection with recruits or recruits and parents? No, I think Nick is one of those people who is going to do his homework. He's going to know exactly who he's talking to. You know, you've seen him in action. He's not, he doesn't have the conventional
Starting point is 00:38:23 social skills that say like a Garth Brooks or Taylor, like a performer has. But when he is talking about the thing he does, the thing he loves, he is so engaging and so smart. And everything he says, like, he's thought it through, and he has every question ready to be answered by mom. And he can engage with parents and engage with players. You can certainly engage with players because he understands them on a visceral level. But it's interesting because, you know, Nick Saban probably would have been, I've asked him this, and he laughs when I ask him, what would you have been if you hadn't been a coach? Because, you know, he was going to go take over the service department, I think, at a car dealership. And I think he would have probably been the largest owner of car dealerships in America.
Starting point is 00:39:16 Like, remember Bill Hurd, there used to be Bill Hurd in every major southern city. That would have been Nick Saban, except with probably, you know, luxury brands, because he likes. He likes the nice cars. But yeah, it's amazing because he can connect on that level. And it's interesting in the way he speaks. So I know this is probably not where you thought this is going. But there's a service called ASAP Sports, and they transcribe press conferences. And they have, it's kind of each transcriptionist is kind of regional.
Starting point is 00:39:47 So there's a lady who handles most of the ones in the South. And they bring her in. And so the coach is talking. And she's transferred. She's like a court stenographer, essentially, and she can transcribe the conversation in real time. And so one time I was on a shuttle bus with the lady who does ASAP Sports for Florida, and she was talking about the various coaches that have come through events she's done. And she's like, this is Urban Myers coaching at Florida.
Starting point is 00:40:17 Jimbo Fisher's at Florida State. So she's Urban Meyer, she's like, he never completes a sentence. Jimbo Fisher, she's like, he talks 200 miles an hour. it's so hard to keep up. I said, what about Nick Saban? She goes, that man has perfect diction. And then I started listening to Nick Savan interviews differently, and it's true. The man speaks in perfect, complete sentences. I can't write them as well as he speaks them. I'm not sure your relationship or your experiences with Dan Lanning, but we went up to Oregon and I spent some time with him, and I'll get a text from him occasionally referencing Arkansas, like we're, you know,
Starting point is 00:40:52 my school and like, don't give up hope yet. Yeah. And, you, Dan, Landing is definitely younger than a lot of the coaches that I talk with. What do you think of Dan Landing as a person? Do you feel like he's a connector? I definitely feel like he's a connector. I feel like he's, he's excellent at connecting with a lot of people. He's got, it's more than just the, this is football, I'm your coach thing. You can tell he's got kind of a mischievous side. And you've seen that with some of the stuff he's done with the recruits. And, you know, I was there the other night at the Peach Bowl. I covered the Peach Bowl and listening to him talk about his team in that moment, which is a terrible moment for a coach. You've just got
Starting point is 00:41:25 and blown out. Everything you've worked for is over, and you lost it in the most embarrassing fashion. And he's sitting there next to Dante Moore and Bryce Betcher, one of their linebackers. And he's talking about the contributions that the seniors to that team had made and how it hurts him that when they get where they're finally going, that those guys won't still be with them, but they will have laid the foundation for it. And they will have gotten so much closer than anybody else ever has. And he talked about how this is a good kind of pain, because it means you got this far and you didn't quite make it, but you did get this far. You put in the work to get that far, and you're going to learn something from it,
Starting point is 00:42:04 and you're going to carry something with you for the rest of your life. And in that moment, you're like, I would send my kid to play for this guy. What do you think the Oregon fan base feels now, a disappointment, but are they upset at the situation at all? So I was cruising the message where Scoop Duck is our Oregon cited on three, and it seemed like it was a very small minority that was concerned about Dan Landing's ability to ever get them to the national title, it seems like most of the fan base understands, hey, this guy's getting us there pretty much every year. He's getting us to the doorstep pretty much every year. He's
Starting point is 00:42:37 going to get through eventually. And I think that's the right way to look at it. I said this about Kirby Smart for years and years when it gets to the national title game. They lose on second to 26. Then they lose in the SEC championship game to Alabama. Then the next year they smoked by LSU in the SEC championship game. And it's like, oh, is he ever going to get there? Or is that second in 26 going to be as close as he ever got? Well, if you keep putting your team in that position over and over and over again, eventually you have the right roster, the right chemistry, the right everything.
Starting point is 00:43:07 And he did. He had it two years in a row. And I think Dan Lannings is going to have that. I said this on my show the other day. I think Dan Lannning is going to win a national title at some point in the next five years. I want to talk about quarterbacks for a second before we let you go. and I'll go to DJ Lagway. At first it was, yeah, he's going to go to Baylor, but then Ole Miss is in the mix. Where does he end up? I still think he's going to end up at Baylor.
Starting point is 00:43:27 The Ole Miss thing is interesting because a lot of this depends on Trinidad Shameless and what happens with his eligibility. The NCAA denied his appeal for another year of eligibility, which I figured they would. I figured they deny the waiver. I'm sorry, not his appeal. He hasn't appealed yet. They're going to sue in Mississippi State Court. And I think the hope there is not that they win the case is that a judge grants an injunction that says, hey, you can play while this case is being fought out in court, which given how slow the legal system tends to move would allow him to play this season. So that part of it could play out in the next couple of weeks. And so Lagway is talking to Ole Miss. Olmiss has gotten a commitment from Deuce Knight,
Starting point is 00:44:08 who was at Auburn this past year. He's from Mississippi. He was a big time quarterback recruit, was originally going to go to Notre Dame, flip to Auburn on signing day. We actually got see him play against Mercer this year because they were trying to save Ashton Daniels redshirt at Auburn. And Deuce looked pretty dang good. So I'll be curious to see how that all plays out. But the Deuce thing, I think the feeling is they maybe weren't ready for him to be the starter right now. And they're hoping they have Trinidad for another year and then Deuce can slide in there. But if they don't have Trinidad, then DJ becomes an option. But I still think DJ probably winds up at Baylor where it's a more sure thing like you're going to be the guy. What about Raola?
Starting point is 00:44:48 He is committed to Oregon. Just before we started doing this, he committed to Oregon. I did not see that. Wow. Now, I'm not sure when this show is dropping. Today. So the, yeah, the situation, and even within hours, the situation may change. I think this means Dante Moore staying at Oregon.
Starting point is 00:45:07 Because I think the Raola decision had a little bit to do with the idea that he could do what Dante Moore did, where he got to sit behind Dill and Gabriel for a year and learn. And I think that's an interesting way of looking at it because Dante Moore made a fairly unusual decision there, which is why even though Dante Moore could be a very high NFL draft pick, I don't know that he's going to make the conventional decision, which would be go to the NFL. So we'll see if Dante says he's coming back. It may be that Dante says, hey, I'm going to the NFL and Dylan's going to be Oregon starter. But it also, this says to me there's a chance Dante comes back. He's the starter and Dylan's waiting behind him. I did not see that.
Starting point is 00:45:45 We were in the middle of doing a little broadcast here. Oh, so this, this never stops. It's crazy. Try, try planning a daily show around this. Especially if you have any time stamp everything. Yep. If you end up going to that show in London, let me know. I have friends, both of those guys.
Starting point is 00:46:03 So if you and your wife go, let me know. I'll send over my cell phone number and you guys text me in again. Oh, I would love that. It's the one place I can help anybody is that area. So, yeah, and thanks, Andy, big fan. So love your YouTube, love when you guest on other people's shows. So thanks for coming on. And I will send you my cell phone number.

You guys follow Andy. So it's, go ahead. Oh, it's my daughter's ballet schedule is the thing we've got to figure out. Starting point is 00:49:38 I'm Daniel Alarcon, a writer and journalist, and John and I have known each other since we were kids. My first World Cup was Mexico 86. I was nine years old. I watched every game, and I fell in love. On our new podcast, The Away End, we'll share with you the magic of international football, all leading up to the 2026 World Cup. For us, soccer, football, is a story we've shared for over 30 years since Daniel was the star player on our high school soccer team. Very debatable. And I was there most loyal and sometimes.
Starting point is 00:50:08 only fan. I love this game. I love its history, its hope, its heartbreak, and above all, it's beauty. Together, we'll find out
Starting point is 00:50:17 why, of all the unimportant things, football, soccer, is the most important. Listen to the away end with Daniel Auer Kohn and John Green on the IHeart Radio app,
Starting point is 00:50:26 Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. You can have opinions. You can have, like, a strong stance. And then there's your body having its own program. I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and hosts of the podcast a slight change of plans, a show about who we are and who we become when life makes other
Starting point is 00:50:51 plans. We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate these periods of turbulence and transformation. There is one finding that is consistent, and that is that our resilience rests on our relationships. I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change. We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes. Listen to a slight change of plans on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. I feel like it was a little bit unbelievable until I really start making money. It's Financial Literacy Month, and the podcast Eating While Broke is. bringing real conversations about money, growth, and building your future.
Starting point is 00:51:41 This month, hear from top streamer Zoe Spencer and venture capitalist Lakeisha Landrum-Pierre as they share their journeys from starting out to leveling up. If I'm outside with my parents and they're seeing all these people come up to me for pictures, it's like, what? Today now, obviously, it's like 100%. They believe everything. But at first, it was just like, you got to go get a real job.
Starting point is 00:52:03 There's an economic component to community striving. If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail. And what I mean by fail is they don't have money to pay for food. They cannot feed their kids. They do not have homes. Communities don't work unless there's money flowing through them. Listen to eating while broke from the Black Effect Podcast Network on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Hey, one of the things happening right now that I have, I saw a pop up in the news and I'm just surprised that it's still a thing is the guy that played offensive line, Matt Kille.
Starting point is 00:52:38 He was married and getting divorced And she was on a podcast Talking about how his wiener was so big And now he's suing her Why would you sue for that? Matt Kullo's ex-wife, Haley Bailey And is she a big influencer? Like that name sounds funny.
Starting point is 00:52:55 I think she was on a reality show. Is that what it is? I'm pretty sure. Let me check it. Is pushing back against his lawsuit against her Her lawyer filed a motion to dismiss the suit And it was that she said his wiener was so big that it was made their life difficult.
Starting point is 00:53:08 Wow. Made their life difficult. And that he was embarrassed and he's like, I'm suing. Like to share my personal information. Yeah, I mean, big or small. Can you find the quote? Oh, small be way worse. She said it's the size of two coke cans.
Starting point is 00:53:22 Yeah. Where's a Coke can? That's a big Coke can. Wow. Wow, man. I mean, think of a Coke can. I know, dude. That's two of them.
Starting point is 00:53:30 Dang. Ouch. Yeah, I can see how that's difficult. He's a big dude, though. But this is wife, ex-wife. Ex-wife. Yeah, they're getting a divorce or they just got a divorce. You know it's difficult when you start dating. I think he's remarried now, too.
Starting point is 00:53:43 Oh, he is? Yeah. That's weird. Then why is she talking about that if he has a new wife? No, that's terrible. She was a Sports Illustrated swim-suit issue model or competition. That's terrible. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:54 But kind of cool that everyone knows, though, right? I know it's private. I get it. I would be so irritated if another woman, if I'm married to a dude and another woman, even if it's ex-wife is out talking on a podcast about intimate things about my now husband. Mm-hmm. Yeah. What happens?
Starting point is 00:54:09 People just get on podcasts and they think they could just, like, say whatever they want. No one's listening. Yeah. Guys, we're all listening. They all just want to be a good guest. Yeah. They're just saying crap. Right.
Starting point is 00:54:19 I need more of those guests. That just say crap. They just say crap. But it comes in so guarded. I got to like, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. Yeah. Like get away. There was a story about that Buffalo Bill Stadium because they are moving a new stadium and
Starting point is 00:54:31 they're auctioning off some of the things. They were auctioning off one of the big truff urinals. That everybody, you stand, you stand. You just peat. into it. Would you want that? No way. That seems disgusting. And I love memorabilia. Yeah, that sounds gross. Did they put ice in that?
Starting point is 00:54:45 Did they put ice in those trucks? But it's so disgusting. You watch it melt as you're peeing. Yeah, but you try to melt it and you do no damage. It's like, come on, I can do more than that. You start spelling your name. You had a bad weekend gambling this weekend? Because you were already told you couldn't gamble. No, I didn't gamble. Oh, at all. So you are taking a break. This was my first weekend with pure no gambling. It's tough, man.
Starting point is 00:55:07 It's tough. You're telling it. I was watching games and I'd be like, this is the live bet right now. Indiana. I love live betting. I would have lost on the Indiana. I would have live bedded. Indiana. Yeah, I would have bet it. I would have bet Oregon for sure live to come back. Yeah. So good thing I didn't gamble on that. Some of the other ones though, like the Bears, I would have done Money Line for sure to win that game. The Niners to win that game just because I hate the Eagles. No, he's just nailing off all his wins and he never gets. He never wins He's like I had to stop because I kept losing But if I were to do it again
Starting point is 00:55:43 Here's what I would have done I did rub it into my wife and be like Look I would have hit that bet Totally would have hit that bet She's like what would you bet $5? Like yeah but still Kevin had a few parlays that were good Yeah yeah
Starting point is 00:55:54 We were talking about earlier with the early exit With George Kittle He was involved in both of them but I won both of them I had a Goddart and Kittle touchdown So it just counted for the Goddard But I won And then like a five-leager With that Niners Eagles game
Starting point is 00:56:07 McCaffrey touchdown a couple other things Without watching the game, you bet on it? Yeah. That's crazy. Well, he bet on it and then didn't watch the game. Yeah, I know. I usually don't like the bet on games I'm not watching. It was a little less stressful, actually, I felt like.
Starting point is 00:56:20 Because I didn't know, and then I looked after the game, and I won. That's great. Oh, you didn't watch it while you're on your date to see if you would hit. No, no. But if I'm at home watching the game, I'm also watching my phone, you know, as we all do.
Starting point is 00:56:32 Did you watch cocaine quarterback? Awesome. He's not a quarterback. Did you watch it? No, but Castle played with them. They're on the team at the same time, I think. Owen Hanson, I believe is his name. He was not a quarterback.
Starting point is 00:56:44 His story is crazy because, and this is the beginning of the documentary, so I'm not giving anything away, but he was a volleyball player. Like he was a beach, he lived by the beach and Redondo Beach growing up, so he played volleyball. He got a scholarship to play for USC as a volleyball player. But his, I guess after his first year there, he didn't play at all. And his coach was like, if you don't get stronger and jump higher and look bigger, you're not going to make this team next year. So you might as well just quit.
Starting point is 00:57:15 So he started roiding it up. And he got so jacked that a trainer in the weight room was just like, you play football, dude? He's like, I've never touched football in my life. Wait, that's how he got on the football team? What? Yes. The trainer is like, you need to try out for the football team. He's like, dude, you don't understand.
Starting point is 00:57:30 I've never touched a football in my life. And he made the team. As a tied-in? Nah, he really didn't even play. Maybe he was a tight end listed, but he never played. I think he played a couple of special teams plays. He's a gunner or something. He did dress out, though.
Starting point is 00:57:45 But he dressed, dude. He was part of the national championship team at USC. And that's the height of his life. Then he took some wrong directions, dude, and it gets crazy. Is it good? Is it good? I feel like... The show is it good, yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:00 Yes. Overall, it's good. I feel like the first episode, there's three episodes. The first episode was kind of. kind of cheaply done. You can tell that they didn't have a lot of money, whoever was producing this. But the story is so good,
Starting point is 00:58:12 it didn't really matter. The production level, when episode two and three comes out, is way better. So, was he selling drugs? Yeah, I mean, everything. It had to do it drugs, all right? Everything.
Starting point is 00:58:23 I mean, it went from, like, I can get you steroids, you know, like football team, get you steroids too, like. Yeah, well, I never finished it, but I started it. You did it on it? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:33 I just felt like, well, it just kept dragging it. little bit. That's how I felt. Nah. For three episodes, I think it's perfect. I was like, I get the, I get the, hey, instead of gambling, Eddie's watching cocaine cocaine. Hey, instead of gambling, it's drugs. Dude, it is so good. You must watch it. Maybe. Maybe. It's really good. You'll like it.
Starting point is 00:58:50 Maybe, maybe. Okay, we got a game tonight. Steelers win. For the sake of us having the Patriots. I don't know. Indiana looks so good, though, too. My sister and mom read that game the other night in Atlanta, because she went to Oregon sister, and they said it was like the scariest thing. Just being in that environment with all those Indiana fans. I mean, they've never been to anything like that before. The Oregon section was so small. Yeah. Like it was a corner of a of the stadium. Yeah. Really far away
Starting point is 00:59:21 to be fair. Yes. Yeah. For sure. Other side of the country, but in Indiana just buys every ticket now. They're so pumped. It exists. And they're awesome. And there were just a bunch of unfortunate place for Oregon at the beginning. They just couldn't bounce back from. Yeah. That picked six at the beginning the game you're like, oh no. But then they scored a touchdown on the next drive so you're going, okay, we're in the mix, we're in the mix. I say we because I bet Oregon. I bet Oregon like plus three I think is what it was.
Starting point is 00:59:48 Not enough. Not near enough. And then that fumble and then it was just... Downhill. You know what, dude? I'm starting to shift on Fernando. Mendoza. Shift as in he's thrown more touchdowns and they're completions? No, no, I kind of like them more. Oh, got it. Yeah, he's He's consistently, like, lovable. He stopped the yelling, which is great. He stopped looking at the camera.
Starting point is 01:00:11 You can tell he tries not look at the camera now. Like somebody told him, like, dude, stop look at the camera. But I think that that's just him. I agree. I think that that's just him, and he's a little quirky. I agree. And I'm liking him more. He's from Miami, so they're going to go play that game.
Starting point is 01:00:27 He would have gone to Miami. Yeah. What about his little bro? I don't know what's going to happen to him, because I think they signed another quarterback, didn't they, Indiana, for next year? I don't know. I haven't seen that. Yeah, I don't think his little bro is like the heir apparent.
Starting point is 01:00:39 No. I think his little bro is like Janus's brother. You just see the last name. His two brothers now that are on the team in Milwaukee. Oh, they signed TCU QB Josh Hoover. And they paid him a lot of money. Yeah, and he's really good. He's really good.
Starting point is 01:00:53 Yeah. Good luck with that. Dang, man. Yeah, I think the Mendoza was, we'll take him to. It's part of the deal. Yeah, we'll take him too. I think Mendoza's dad played high school football with the head coach, it was Christobald, the head coach of Miami.
Starting point is 01:01:07 Oh, really? I saw that. That was crazy. So it's from Miami, and his dad played... I saw Kevin's head on that camera. I just glitched. The camera went down and gave you perfect bald head right. How often do you shave your head with a razor? Looks good and shiny right now. I just did it, that's why, yeah. The reason I noticed is because the camera went right down on it.
Starting point is 01:01:26 Oh, really? Wow. So glossy, bro. I was wondering where you're looking. I was like, do I got something on my face? Dude, it went right to the top of your head. I usually do it like once a week But I'll trim it with the Electric yeah trimmer A couple times a week
Starting point is 01:01:41 Do you have one of those Trimmers that shapes to your head Like it's four? Yeah it's got like six like prong things And it just molds with your head Yeah something like that What do you do? I have five electric
Starting point is 01:01:52 Same thing you put it on your head Yeah Wow Yeah I'm a couple days without doing it Three days Do you have to do shaving cream? No not with that No general
Starting point is 01:02:01 Once a week You do shaving cream? Yeah, feels good, though. I haven't done the razor yet. Ever? Ever? I'm a little scared to do the razor on my head. Do you ever cut your head?
Starting point is 01:02:09 Yeah, like a month or so ago, right before a Christmas party for the word Christmas party. Just bleeding out of the back of my head. Do you have a pimple back then? I was like, oh, great, but luckily it was dark in the room, so nobody noticed. Were you speeding? Yeah, yeah, because I was trying to get ready and trying to, yeah, get things going, and then I was like, oh, crap. And then it just doesn't stop bleeding.
Starting point is 01:02:28 Speed shaving gets me on my face if I'm doing that. And then it bleats forever. Yeah, and you stick a little piece of tissue on it or whatever and just doesn't. doesn't even do anything. All right, that's it. Thanks to Andy Staples. Thanks to you guys. Thanks to you.
Starting point is 01:02:41 I didn't do anything. Thank you so much. And thank you guys for telling me you're going to the Super Bowl. Appreciate that. No, we're going to do interviews.
