Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. Hey, Portlandia fans. Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen here. The Dream of the 90s is alive in podcast form. We're launching Podlandia, AEO, rewatch, our brand new podcast where we revisit every episode of Portlandia together, breaking down sketches, going deep on our iconic characters,
Starting point is 00:00:20 and pulling back the curtain on how it all got made. And we'll also be joined by the people who helped bring it all to life. Guest stars, collaborators, and friends, including director Jonathan Chrysler, the mayor, himself Kyle McLaughlin, legendary musician Amy Mann, and many more. Kyle is going for it here. You fully improvised, not just words, but a song. Well, I thought you were all going to write a song.
Starting point is 00:00:41 I remember you thinking that. Listen to Podlandia. A.O. Rewatch on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, fam? I'm sports journalist Ari Chambers. Hey, what's up, y'all? It's your girl, Sam J. And we're the host of Everyone Watches Women's Sports, a new podcast from Together and I Heart women's sports. We're breaking down the biggest headlines. Naomi Osaka, showing out. Shout-houts to you, Naomi. The viral moments. I've been obsessed with Kashan Rocks, boxing journey.
Starting point is 00:01:09 She looks good. Her combos are swift. And the stories everyone's talking about across women's sports. Because everyone watches women's sports. Listen to everyone watches women's sports on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. This is Chelsea Hamler from Dear Chelsea. Every week, the news gets worse. The world gets crazier, and Yamanika is here to tell whoever's responsible, you're the problem. Do you know I just found out who Sidney Sweeney was? If he got a bunch of women, then I should have a bunch of men. Do better or do less so I don't have to do so much.
Starting point is 00:01:41 I'm Yamanika, and I'm out. Listen to You're the Problem with Yamanika on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. I'm Nick Tuturo. You probably know me from NYPD Blue, the longest yard, or Spike Lease Black Klansman. And on my new podcast, delivering happiness with Nick Totoro, I deliver pizza to a new guest. I've shared a slice with everyone from Seth Rollins. What are you doing my belt?
Starting point is 00:02:06 To Bill Burr. I don't think I've ever met somebody so exactly out of their mind as I am. And now, we even have more great guests coming up, including the great John Tuturo. It's called Happiness, delivering happiness. And many, many more. Open your free High Heart Radio app.
Starting point is 00:02:23 Search Delivering Happiness with Nick Tutro. And listen now. This is a pot. It's talking for it. Blow it up. Thank you. First of all, it's the first time Eddie and Kevin have been in the same room. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:55 For a couple reasons. Yeah, yeah, yeah. One, Eddie did come in because he wasn't here when you were on the couch. What are we laughing about right now? These guys are all laughing. We did a whole bit about the group text before it went on Bobby Bone Show. Yeah, I listened to that on Whistle last week, right? You listen on vacation?
Starting point is 00:03:13 Yeah, mainly, honestly, the only reason, well, not the only, but the main reason I listened because I wanted to see if you had the balls to ask. Jason Garrett questions. And I did. And I was proud of you. Thank you. And then I got to the segment after that. And then he was talking about how you were kind of weak for getting out of the group chat.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Yeah, yeah. And then I taught him how to put you back in. But then you had no idea. And then you came on the Bobby Bone Show. And then he wasn't here when we were talking to you about that. Right. And then you gave the whole story over there. Because we were just guessing here.
Starting point is 00:03:44 Right? Like we had no idea why you left. We had our little theories, blah, blah, blah. Well, let's see his vacation. Yeah, yeah, that's what I got. Watch your voice cracker. Because I have bad allergies right now. I have really bad allergies.
Starting point is 00:03:56 And, no, I listened to it. And my whole thought the whole time, and I know we do a podcast, so it's just the nature of the business. I'm like, it's funny. They're all like talking or these guys are asking, oh, I wonder what it is. But nobody ever texted or called or harassed. Why would we do that? Why would they do that? Because then they can't make their theories on the show.
Starting point is 00:04:13 I know. I know. I know. But for the first few minutes, I was like, that's so weird. Like, they're just going with all these theories. I was like, they don't have my number or they can just call or text, but I get it.
Starting point is 00:04:24 But then the update is, we're talking to you about it while Eddie's not here, and then Eddie hears the true nature of it. The true nature. Which was a lot more serious than we thought. I was surprised by that. You heard my theory. You heard my theory of like, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:04:39 he's probably just tired of hearing us talk about stuff, whatever. No big deal. I thought it was vacation, by the way. Dude, I didn't realize it was so serious. I know you were so sad. What happened? Now Brandon. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:04:50 I'm not doing this whole thing. You can go back part two on Friday. Okay. I can give you a quick overview. A little summary. Because I don't think Brandon's been here for other episode because last episode he was waiting at the other studio. And now I got canceled. So Brandon needs a full fill in.
Starting point is 00:05:04 Well, he was here last week's because he said something too. Well, I heard. When you guys talked about it, I'm theorized about it. I was here for when. Okay. Let me just give everybody a quick update. Okay. Kevin was going on vacation.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Kevin goes on vacation different than the show. so Kevin went on vacation but before he left for vacation in the Bobby Bone Show group chat which I'm not in he was like hey I'm out of here if you guys need anything hit me up boom and leaves after years of being on the group chat
Starting point is 00:05:29 very dramatic so everyone's debating as to why Amy's asking me Eddie's asking me I'm not in it I don't know I don't know anything's upset him and I think he's just on vacation and doesn't want to get all the alerts and Eddie thinks it's something different we have that conversation
Starting point is 00:05:43 Eddie then leaves Kevin's in here and it's on the Bobby Bohn Show podcast. I'm like Kevin, what's really the deal? And Kevin goes, well, they were asking for pictures from everyone for Father's Day to put up on social media. They didn't ask me. And so my feelings were hurt. So I just got out of the group chat. To which I say, oh, I completely understand why you feel that way. But here's the real answer. You're not one of the central cast on the Bobby Bones show. It's nothing against you. But that's why. But I do understand you feeling that way. And then we had to talk about that. And then I posted them on Friday's Bobby Bones show, Instagram page.
Starting point is 00:06:16 And I was like, Kevin's the man. Trying to get all the pictures together. There was a carousel of Kevin. Did you get followers from that? Oh, yeah. Probably, oh, man, I'm still getting them. Probably over 100. That's why I did it.
Starting point is 00:06:27 It's a gift to you. I know, I know, and I appreciate that. So that's where we are. So it was more serious because Kevin's feelings got hurt about the Father's Day. Which happens a lot. Let's be honest. Okay. Because a little sensitive baby.
Starting point is 00:06:39 Yeah. Just a little. It's fine. No. It wasn't just a Father's Day. if you listen back. It's a five years leading up and then it just got to the point
Starting point is 00:06:49 where it just, I was just like, I was on vacation and it just like, it was messing with my head at that time. And I was like, I just don't need this right now. So I just left. So where are you now with it?
Starting point is 00:06:58 Because you've kind of expressed it all. You processed it. Like, where are you at? I feel much better that I'm able to express it out loud. I never wanted it to necessarily get to this point. This wasn't my intentions to come on. But at the end of the day,
Starting point is 00:07:11 this is what we do. This is what we're on a podcast. and Bobby has a huge platform you guys all do. And anything you guys talk about, whether it's radio show or here, it's pretty much always on the microphone. Yeah, we got to turn up, turn of drama a little bit. Otherwise, who cares about somebody talking about something just kind of meh? Right.
Starting point is 00:07:27 Did it make it back to your family, friend group? My mom listened to it. Yes, my mom listened to it. I know how'd that go? Because she was asking me, she's like, what the heck? Like your Instagram, you know, like, what's going on? So I just sent it to her. I was like, just check this out, listen to it.
Starting point is 00:07:42 And I talked to her about it the next day, I believe. and she was like, honestly, it was great. Like, it was really entertaining. It was funny. That's for my mom. She's like, were you really hurt you, idiot? Yeah. She's like, I get where you're coming from.
Starting point is 00:07:57 I get where Bobby's coming from. And she's like, it was just entertaining. I enjoyed it as a listener. And she offered, like, a different perspective, an outsider's point of view. So it was good to hear that. And overall, just felt better for sure that, like, I got to get it out. And we talked about it. You explained it.
Starting point is 00:08:13 We talked about it with everybody, and I think, like we've all learned in the past, getting something out vocally, that alone will make you feel better. By the way, I'm not the one that didn't ask you for your picture. All I was doing was trying to rationalize as to why whomever was pulling pictures didn't ask you. Because if it were me asking, I would ask you. Wait, where did those pictures come from? No, I'm talking about the Father's Day pictures. Oh, okay. I wasn't involved at all.
Starting point is 00:08:38 I know. If people were like, you didn't ask Kevin for a picture, no, I didn't know anything about it. Yeah, you didn't. Once I was told what had happened. I was like, oh, let me try to explain why I think it wasn't a personal shot to you. So I wasn't trying to be insensitive with it. Well, that's why I never, I knew it would get back to, of course, but I never wanted to involve you. Because you're not in this.
Starting point is 00:08:56 Amy and Eddie both came at it. They were like, you got to hear this. Kevin left the group chat. Yeah. Yeah. Because you're not in the group chat. So I was like, okay, Bobby doesn't be involved in this. Like social media, he doesn't, as far as the show goes, you never handled that up until recently. And so I was like, Bob, he doesn't even be involved.
Starting point is 00:09:13 And then it got back to you, obviously. Now you do. So anyways. Yeah. Yeah. Here we are. Yeah. We're here.
Starting point is 00:09:19 Do you guys need to hug it out? There's no hug out. No one's mad at anyone. No, no one's mad at anyone. Dude, I didn't even know you had kids. That's crazy. Okay, so my thought. Here's something for me.
Starting point is 00:09:32 I didn't know that Kevin had that many tattoos. Like he was that tatted up. Oh, yeah. That picture of you on your vacation and I made a note. You, your wife, your twins. I don't know. you're like in a mountain or something. Oh,
Starting point is 00:09:45 and you're strategically turned to show your muscles. I'm just holding a baby. No, no, I get it. I do it too, dude. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:09:51 That's just coming from my understanding. Yeah. I didn't realize you were so tatted all the way up. Oh yeah, all the way up. My back. Really?
Starting point is 00:09:59 Yeah, not my whole back. Hold on this picture. Let's show us. Well, it's not on that picture. No, go to kickoff Kevin's page.
Starting point is 00:10:05 Kevin's, okay. Yeah. Do I follow him? That's how you found out. Get out of here. Yeah, at kickoff Kevin. Look at the second picture. I didn't realize he had tattoos all the way up, like his arm up into his shoulder.
Starting point is 00:10:17 This is the vacation one where you're with the Native American? And by the way, he's not even holding the baby in the arm that's flexing with. He's holding the baby's arm. Oh, yeah, you know what you're right. But you don't need to hold the baby's arm. Yeah, I have a sling on with the baby, though, like holding the baby with a sling. Oh, the one in front of the mountains. Yeah, it's a great picture, by the way.
Starting point is 00:10:35 Yeah, thank you. Your arm's huge. You look like Dack in that picture. I know, and I haven't lived in a long time. But look how a Spider-Man tattoos go all the way up his arm. That's really cool. Well, no, that's not a Spider-Man. That's a fly-catcher.
Starting point is 00:10:45 No, no, no, what's it called? A dream catcher. A dream catcher. Yeah. What is a fly-catcher? When did you get all your tattoos? Oh, my very first one, I was... I don't need a whole lecture.
Starting point is 00:10:55 I just wondering, like, generally... I got the full sleeve. I finished the full sleeve. The year was... 1934. Five years ago, I finished the full sleeve, I think, right before I moved out here. Right arm? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:07 Is your left arm sleeved? No. Did it start with the dream catcher? No, that was the very last one, actually. Yeah. You're also in a picture I didn't ever scroll, but there's a picture of you with the Native American guy, full headgear? That's what I was talking about.
Starting point is 00:11:18 I think it's my wife in that one, yeah. That's your wife. I did take a picture with him, though. Look, he's there, it's native land. Is he real? And he's real. Got it. That's all the matters.
Starting point is 00:11:28 So it's not like some guy dressed there as far as I know. And then, you know, you... It's like the Spider-Man in Times Square. They just have somebody that dresses like that. And he was, yeah, he was legit. I don't think he wanted to be there, though. Well, then why was he there? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:11:42 Collecting money? Who knows? It's like a street performer. Like the monks that walk around New York selling bracelets? Yeah. Like, raise up $5? Are they raising money for their monastery? Who knows, dude, they could dress up like that, but probably. Yeah, I think he's just raising money, yeah, for his native.
Starting point is 00:12:00 I don't know. What about your compass tattoo? Is that still there? On your leg? Yes, it's slowly going away. That was going to be my next question. Yeah. Can you show us?
Starting point is 00:12:08 You want to see it? Yeah, sure. Well, he has a tattoo on his leg. used to be a compass and we'd play golf and he would hit it bad and Eddie would go, you didn't use your compass. Turn your leg. Or he can't find his ball. I'm like, dude, use your compass.
Starting point is 00:12:19 Use your compass. Yeah, and then Eddie, Eddie thought that because of him, I'm getting my tattoo removed. Yeah, yeah, because he said he was getting removed. I'm like, dude, we were just joking with you. It's not that big of a deal. No, I know. There's a couple. There's some I definitely regret for sure, and that's one of them.
Starting point is 00:12:36 So I finally, I wish, I mean, now it's been like two years and it's still in the process. I will move to the Caitlin Clark Discourse. for a second where they had listed top five for MVP and she wasn't listed yet her stats were better than pretty much everybody's. This is outrageous.
Starting point is 00:12:50 It's outrageous. It's crazy how much they hate her. The WMBA is wild. It's a poorly run league. It's so bad. I watched a game and she scored most of the points. Everything she put up went in.
Starting point is 00:13:04 She dominated out of the whole game that I watched. You may watch a triple double game I don't remember. They were playing the ACEs maybe. No, is she the, no, aces. Fever. They're the fever.
Starting point is 00:13:17 No, I know she plays for the fever. I think they were playing the Aces. I don't really remember. But she stood out over everyone else. Also, she's the person that most people want to see. And I think that makes a lot of people upset. Even the game they played against Minnesota, and I watched a little bit of that. Minnesota's awesome.
Starting point is 00:13:36 Minnesota links. She didn't have the most points, but she had 10 assists. She had like 17 points. 10 assists and people were like, oh, look out. She's like, no, the other girl was on. So she just kept giving her the ball. She had 10 assists. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:48 She had a double double when everybody was like, oh, look how terrible she is. But here's what I have. Kaelin Clark becomes the fastest player to reach 1,500 career points in just 78 games ahead of legends like Asia Wilson, Diana, Tarrasie, Candice Parker, Maya Moore, and Brianna Stewart. So these are the legends, and it's not comparing anything now. It's comparing them then in their first games, and she did it in 78 games. Asia Wilson in 79, who's probably the best player in the WNBA now?
Starting point is 00:14:19 Briano Stewart in 81. Tarasi in 85. Maya Moore in 91 games. So she scored 1,500 career points faster than anybody else in the history of the league, yet she sucks? She does not suck. She's the 11th best guard, according to the players. What do the fans think?
Starting point is 00:14:34 The fans must love her, right? That's who people come to see for the most part. And the WMBA, if it were just to grow based on what it always had, it would not grow. You have to have in any league. You have to have splashes to bring casuals in, to turn into mediums, to turn into fans. You have to have those. And I'm not just talking WMBA. But Kately Clark is the biggest thing to happen to the WMBA in the last decade. Literally nobody cared that was a basketball fan and wasn't specifically a WMBA fan. It blows my mind to watch somebody sabotage themselves like that league. It's insane. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:15:12 It's worshipping her. And it's just getting worse and worse and worse. It's everything I see. I'm like, it feels like it's like some parody like an S&L skit or something. I'm telling you, I feel like there's something that they know about her that we don't. But it doesn't matter. I know that. But what's the whole reason of it?
Starting point is 00:15:26 Why wouldn't they come out with it? She's so good. Even if there was something, it doesn't matter. It's if she's not committing a crime, hurting kids, hurting animals, you can be a jerk. And if you're great, Michael Jordan was a jerk. Covey. Iversham was a ball hog. Kobe was terrible.
Starting point is 00:15:44 Yeah, yeah, yeah. They were all. Unlikable. You have to, especially when you play, look at the killers. The band? No. Great band.
Starting point is 00:15:54 Somebody told me. But the people that get on the court and are just ruthless. Yeah. The real winners. They're often. Unlikable. They're so competitive that they can come off as unlikable because they're so competitive. But it doesn't even matter.
Starting point is 00:16:10 It's crazy to me to watch them say. If she left the WMBA, nobody would talk about it. No, no. It would only be the people that would talk about the WMBA before Kantler-C got there, and that's a very small audience, and it would not get time on network television, except for them to go, well, we have to put women's sports on, so we're just going to put something on randomly. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:28 And the only other person I hear it get talked about right now is Sophie Cunning, her teammate. I love her, Sophie Cunningham. And now hers is because it's political. Yeah. Oh. Because she's anti-trans. Who Sophie is? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:40 And so that's now why that is front and center. So it's wild. I can't believe how much they hate the person that's allowing them to have more butts and seats, contracts to be larger, that her coming around the time that their collective bargaining agreement ended. She saved the – it was the – yes. Otherwise, they could even like, you got what you got. Right. The NBA's had to pay for that league for so many years.
Starting point is 00:17:08 It doesn't matter. I'm done. This is weird because I can care less about anything you're talking about. But to say that she sucks is absolutely false. And to say that she's not the best guard in the WMBA is like... Well, I don't know that she's the best guard. I wouldn't say she's the best guard. But I think she's the top five player.
Starting point is 00:17:24 Yeah. But they played... It's almost not the same at how they dee her up than anybody else. Like I watch pagebackers play. They play defense against her. But they want to shut down Kailen Clark. That's their goal. With absolute purpose.
Starting point is 00:17:38 It's hilarious and awful. And I feel so bad for her. Me too. Okay, there's that. You've heard the chaos. Now you can see it. Hello. Oh, my gosh. Watch all your favorite podcasts from start to finish, right inside the free IHare Radio app. Gets the blood going up.

Starting point is 00:18:14 What's up, fam? I'm sports journalist Ari Chambers. Hey, what's up, y'all? It's your girl, Sam J. And we're the host of everyone watches women's sports, a new podcast from Together and I Heart Women's Sports. Because let's be real. Women's sports is giving us way too much to talk about these days.
Starting point is 00:18:28 So Kelsey Finler, she became the first female solo roer to go from California to Hawaii. My first thought is, like, what's up with the snacks? Like, what are we eating? The highlights, the rival. the breakout stars, the moments to take over your entire timeline. And the conversations that start during the game and somehow keep going all week. Every week, we're breaking down the biggest stories across women's sports. Naomi Osaka, showing out, she beat.
Starting point is 00:18:55 Sabalinka. Shout out to you, Naomi. You get the palm, Naomi. You get the palm for that. Because we're not just interested in what happened. We're interested in why everyone's talking about it. Because everyone watches women's sports. Listen to everyone watches women's sports on the I-Heart Radio app.
Starting point is 00:19:08 Apple Podcasts or wherever you get. You're a podcast. Hey, Portlandia fans. Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen here. You know us, or rather you know them. Tony and Candice, Nina and Lance, Spike, and yes, The Chicken. We've played a lot of iconic characters over the years, but today we're showing up as ourselves
Starting point is 00:19:27 to tell you about Podlandia, AEO rewatch, our brand new podcast. Each week, we'll revisit an episode of Portlandia from the very beginning, breaking down the sketches, exploring the backstories of our most iconic characters, revisiting the Portland locations you know and love, and opening up about our creative process. How did any of this get made? Why do we think that was a good idea?
Starting point is 00:19:49 We're ready to talk about it. And we'll also be joined by the people who helped bring it all to life. Guest stars, collaborators, and friends, including director Jonathan Chrysall, the mayor himself, Kyle McLaughlin, legendary musician Amy Mann, and many more. Kyle is going for it here. You fully improvised, not just words, but a song, a melody.
Starting point is 00:20:08 Well, I thought he was going to write. I thought you were all going to write a song. I remember you thinking that. Listen to Podlandia. Ayo rewatch on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Nick Totoro. You probably know me from NYPD Blue,
Starting point is 00:20:25 the longest yard, or Spike Lease Black Klansman. But I'm also from Queens, which means I know pizza. And on my new podcast, delivering happiness with Nick Totoro, I deliver pizza from Prince Street Pizza to a new guest. Are you delivering pizza now?
Starting point is 00:20:39 Then we sit down for a real, conversation. I've shared a slice with everyone from Seth Rollins. What are you doing my belt? To Alex Rodriguez. Just to let you people know, we're talking to one of the goats here. To Bill Burr. I don't think I've ever met somebody so exactly out of their mind
Starting point is 00:20:54 as I am. And now, we even have more great guests coming up, including the great John Tuturo. It's called Happiness. Delivering Happiness. Mariano Rivera. Oh my God. And many, many more. Open your free High Heart Radio app. Search Delivering Happiness with Nick Tutro.
Starting point is 00:21:10 and listen now. Tony Romo is on leave after his operating while intoxicated arrest. O-W-I. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Indefinite leave. But what does that mean? A game? Probably.
Starting point is 00:21:24 I mean, they've got to show that they don't stand for that, right? And they've got to make some kind of move to just show that we don't support that. We're not, he doesn't get any free passes. He didn't crash in anybody. Luckily. I know. And nobody died.
Starting point is 00:21:36 Nobody got hurt. Luckily. So it's weird they would to spend him for game. Like I can understand if we're going to find them or we'll evaluate. I don't know. Nobody got hurt. Dude. The video's funny.
Starting point is 00:21:50 The video is hilarious. Yeah, it really does. Even better than the video, the real video, are the videos people are making of him and Tiger? It's running around together. Did you see them all right? He was doing Dax hip thing. That says he's stretching. So who's cooler now to you?
Starting point is 00:22:07 Romo or Brady? Cooler? Oh. That's a tough one. Man, I mean, I'd rather have a beer with Romo, I think, right now than I would with Brady. It just seems like what Romo, Romo was just living a life that everyone kind of lives, except he drove. You know, like, he went to a golf court. Don't you think a lot of people have drinks in the golf courts and drive home?
Starting point is 00:22:30 Absolutely. Yeah. Absolutely. And that doesn't mean it's right, but it's not wildly uncharacteristic of most people. Correct. And he wasn't, by watching the video, he wasn't, listen, he got, I want to say, I want to say again. He should have been sided with an OWI. Everything that's happened should have happened. But it wasn't like some of those where they can't even function or they fall asleep in the
Starting point is 00:22:50 middle of the road and their car is just sitting there. Yeah. You know what's also funny too are the lawyers that are posting videos watching it and then breaking down what he did right by not taking a breathalyzer by not like that's the whole thing that's happening around his arrest is so funny to me. Let this be a lesson. If you drink, you need to call freaking Uber. Yeah. Especially if you have a million dollars. When you can afford it. it. Do you ever get to the point where you're drinking, you're not sure? What? If you can drive or not? Like, you know, you know you can drive in your own head, but I'm saying you're not sure
Starting point is 00:23:21 if you reach that limit. Like, you're just right up near it. I will explain that it's not so much. Like, when you're drunk, you know, like, I'm not supposed to be driving. I don't even get near a car. But I don't feel like he was drunk drunk. He wasn't. And that's the weird part where you're like, I've had a couple of drinks, but it's been an hour or it's been two hours. Like, I feel like, I'm really normal. I can drive right now, but that's not the case
Starting point is 00:23:46 when it comes to like a cop smelling alcohol on your breath. Like once they smell alcohol on your breath or notice you're doing something a little different, I mean, it's over for you. Yeah. So he probably felt
Starting point is 00:23:58 because we don't know his blood alcohol because they didn't test it. So he's probably going, no, I'm good. But because there was alcohol on his breath, the cop said, no, we got to give it to you.
Starting point is 00:24:07 No, I'm not going to take it. You're automatically arrested. The end. Yeah. And then those are the numbers game where it's what, what is it, one drink per hour, I believe they say? Like if you have one drink, you got to wait an hour to drive, two drinks, two hours, and so forth. I just wonder if it'd be hard to actually know. And if you're like, I'm probably not, you could still get pulled over and it'd be a yes.
Starting point is 00:24:28 Yes. Because by watching him and how he's talking and acting and he's just going to see his grandma, grandpa. He'll see my grandpa. Yeah. He didn't look drunk. He didn't look drunk to me. No, he didn't. No.
Starting point is 00:24:42 He didn't. But that just doesn't matter. I know. You're right. The Cowboys, though, I don't know. They might be good. They might be good. The Cowboys look good, boys.
Starting point is 00:24:54 I don't want to, like, push you to a place that's unhealthy for all of us, but they might. And Caleb Downs is, dude, he's going to be good. He's going to be so good. Hey, so what are you, what's making you say that? Are you watching some of the train care? I'm listening to a lot of people talk about it that I trust. See, I don't like that. I think Kevin made a really good point a while back talking about how no one's talking about the cowboys, and I like that.
Starting point is 00:25:19 Oh, so you don't like people talk. I thought you mean you don't like how Bobby consumes it. I heard people talking about him. No, not really. Offseason minor news. I literally two days ago. I'm talking about two days ago. Now they're talking about the Cowboys.
Starting point is 00:25:31 Now that training. But nobody talks about anybody whenever it's in the middle of the dog days of summer. I get it. So you don't want to, you don't like that they're talking good about the Cowboys? Yeah, because it's almost like. All right, now you're hyping us up. And then when they win seven games, you're going to be like, there they go, the cowboys aren't good enough.
Starting point is 00:25:49 Stop talking about the cowboys. I think they're going to be good. Stop talking about the Cowboys. You're right. I'll stop talking about them. I'll watch Dax Press Conference where he's like, yeah, I want to win the championship. Like, I didn't come here to not. And I used to say it all the time, so I'm not going to hide from it.
Starting point is 00:26:00 And he's winning like a 94, 95, or 96 Cowboys Championship T-shirt. Oh, I love that. And he's like, yeah. And so they have the best. combo of receivers in the NFL. I think they're them in Cincinnati. Yes. And they've added some thirds that are really good. And
Starting point is 00:26:19 Giovante came and was actually really good. So good. Exactly what we needed. So I think. And that defense are stacking up on it. Don't talk about it. You're right. I'm done. Not talking about it. Did you hear that Jerry wants to, is thinking about tinting the glass? Up top?
Starting point is 00:26:33 Uh-huh. Not top. Along the, so biggest problem at Cowboys Stadium is when you're playing at 3 o'clock, the 3 o'clock game, somewhere around 5, the sun starts coming right in your eyes for one team. Sometimes it's the Cowboys. It depends how that coin flip falls or whatever. But I guess teams have complained.
Starting point is 00:26:54 I think the Cowboys sometimes complain because they're going that way too, that the sun in your eyes kind of messes the whole thing. So he's thinking about tinting those side windows. Do you hire just a bunch of window guys from the neighborhood? That do windshield? Yeah, they're all just. They bid for it. So if the Cowboys are going to be so good, let's get them in our skins league.
Starting point is 00:27:17 We could probably get them pretty early this year. I don't think I can, I've been, I've been crunching the numbers. Get them in there, man. I don't think I can do skins. What if all four of us get in together? Now we're talking, now we're talking. Brandon, you're in? Because that limits the responsibility.
Starting point is 00:27:33 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Absolutely. Okay. I would even go 50% and let you guys divide the other. one up. Kevin? Brandon, you're in for sure. Hold on. Do you even know what it is? Let me call my mom.
Starting point is 00:27:45 Brandon doesn't care. I know. I love it. But that's the problem. Tell him how much we lost. Tell Brandon how much we lost last year. Oh, I know. Yeah, you were here for it.
Starting point is 00:27:53 Five grand apiece? No. No. No. So see, you're already looking up. Awesome. Dude, can I remind you last year was so stressful. Last year we had everything go wrong.
Starting point is 00:28:04 Dude, our second team we picked overall, our quarterback got hurt immediately. Burrow got hurt immediately. Yeah, nothing you can do about that. No, you can. I mean, except pick the Packers. I don't know. So he did listen.
Starting point is 00:28:17 He was here. He was listening. I don't know, man. I like that. If they're all, if Kevin, Brandon, me, if we can split the 50, 50%, I'm in. I'm back in. I'm in. I got 5%.
Starting point is 00:28:30 Kevin, don't be stupid. Come on. Dude, that was a lot of money last year. I understand. But it's less this year. Not even, it's less, exactly. And not even the money. Like, watching every week, I mean, I feel like it aged me 10 years.
Starting point is 00:28:46 Yeah, yeah, for sure. Dude, I did not enjoy some of those Sundays. Some of the Sundays, it would ruin my week. It's because you weren't winning. Well, yeah. You can enjoy them 12% more now, all right? You're not responsible for 25% anymore. I got you.
Starting point is 00:29:00 Dude, I'm in. Well, it'd be a bit more than 12. But, yeah, yeah. If you split the 50, let's do the math here. So, what, 15, it'd be 45, right? 16, 48. So it would be like 16.75% or something like that. Right.
Starting point is 00:29:20 Sounds good. Sounds good to me. I'm telling you. If the three of us are in, I'm in. Hey, 23%, are you still in? No. Okay. Roughly, it's 17%.
Starting point is 00:29:31 I like that. Would you do 17%. I'm telling you right now, on the record, I would do 17%. Would you do 17%? I'm in. I hate two. guys. That's something to think about.
Starting point is 00:29:42 Kevin, I can't do it. Go home, talk to the wife about it. Kids are getting older, more expensive now. It's just 17%. Just 17%. But you're looking at it from our past experience. It was bad.
Starting point is 00:29:52 The year before, when nobody got hurt, I made $4,000. There you go. And the year before that, I made $2,800. Two minutes ago, Eddie was like, I can't do it. It's like, I can't do it. And now he's like, come on, Kevin, let's do it. I didn't know we were going to do.
Starting point is 00:30:07 Mike, you want to go in four ways? You guys sound so negative. Like you're just going to lose money. Why would I want to hop into that? Come on, Mike. Kevin's making it sound like that. Isn't it going to win money, though? You guys should be hyping that part of it up.
Starting point is 00:30:19 Come on, Kev. Think about it. I'll think about it. They're only six players that made the Madden 99 club this year. What's the Madden? Like the cover? They give you a 99 rating. Oh, the 99.
Starting point is 00:30:32 And you get an award. And sometimes during the season, they'll bump you up. And you'll get it midseason if you end up being so dominant. but you have a 99 overall rating. There's six players. See if you can name one. Kevin. Miles Garrett. Miles Garrett at, yep,
Starting point is 00:30:48 made Edge for the Rams a score of 99. That is correct. Wow, that's cool. Hmm. Let go Jamar Chase. Jamar Chase, wide receiver of the Bengals, 99, correct. Good job, dude.
Starting point is 00:31:02 Okay. This is a guy that's worth 17%. Yes. Absolutely. I will say real quick, too. I wasn't in the draft last year if we do it. I'm definitely going to be, we'll do it together. Hey, man, I would let you do that.
Starting point is 00:31:14 Hey, I think you maybe should go out. I won't even log in. He's in. Okay. No, we're back to this Madden. You can be at the draft? Okay, okay. Josh Allen.
Starting point is 00:31:25 Josh Allen, quarterback bills, 99 overall. Dang. Yeah, six so far. Three other players. Good job, dude. This one might be out of limb a little bit, but I'm going McCaffrey, Christian. Did not get a 99.
Starting point is 00:31:40 He's already got three off the board. Brandon, you want to take a shot? Matthew Stafford. 99. Nice, dude. Wow. At what? The dude's Benjamin Buttons.
Starting point is 00:31:49 Yeah, dude. How old is he? 52. It might be his last year. Like, that's crazy. Okay, go ahead. It's like him and LeBron. Like, what's up, guys?
Starting point is 00:31:59 Oh, is it still my turn? Yeah. Jackson Smith, Najigba. 99. Wow. Wow, dude, good one. Brandon. One more, cool.
Starting point is 00:32:12 One receiver, Seahawks. There's one more, and I don't think you'll get it, so you can prove me wrong. All I have in my head is Pickens because I'm just thinking of. George Pickens? It's not George Pickens. Incorrect. Go ahead, Eddie. It wouldn't be George Pickens.
Starting point is 00:32:27 Now, you have to go last with slim pickings here. One left. Can I ask for a hint? Just is this skill position? Yeah. So it's, like I say, offensive side of the ball, skill position. Okay, not special teams. Give me, I'm on Ross, St. Brown.
Starting point is 00:32:49 Incorrect. Kevin, back over to you. Offensive side of the ball, skill position. Justin Jefferson? Well, I was going to give you another hint, but you ran away with it? No. Oh, sorry. Good guess.
Starting point is 00:33:03 Brandon, offensive side of the ball, skill position is white. Oh, dang, that really narrows it down. I think he's white. Yeah, McConkey's white. McCaukey He is white Mike Yes he's white
Starting point is 00:33:16 That's not McCaffrey I'm gonna go with McCockie Eddie Offensive side of the ball Skill position is white Place for a bad team Oh wow
Starting point is 00:33:32 I got one of my head I wonder he's a quarterback Oh Oh Could it be a tight end Gosh, what's his name? The Lions. Is the Lions tied in? He's had a bad team.
Starting point is 00:33:57 Why am I helping you? Yeah. Is he a tight end? It's not the hint yet. All right, I don't know. I'm going to go with, Dang. Yeah. Skymore.
Starting point is 00:34:17 Just missed it. I'm going to guess, Rock Bowers. Incorrect. You did not let me give you a hint. Oh, I didn't know. Dang, I keep going ahead. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:26 Brandon, offensive side of the ball, skill position, his white, bad team, tied in. Trey McBride. Tray McGrath. Yeah. Oh, nice. Brandon got three of them and he didn't get to go first. That's a guy you want to get in a Skins League with. So Eddie's out.
Starting point is 00:34:42 No, no, no. Okay, I'll be out. Did I make my... Did I make the cell? You got to be in? Oh, to me? Yeah. No, we're not there yet.
Starting point is 00:34:49 Okay. No. Aaron Rogers said his wife gave him permission to play another season. This dude's crazy. He watched Tom Brady get divorced. He's like, I'm good. Wait, but is that like me going to tooth fairy? He says, I should go home.
Starting point is 00:35:04 Yes. Like, we don't know if she's real, right? No one's seen her, right? I can't believe he's still talking about her. See, and stuff like that is what makes me feel like she's not real. He also said that she's the reason he got back with his family because, you know, he was estranged from his family. All those pictures came out of them with his parents. He's like, my wife did this.
Starting point is 00:35:19 Really? Amazing. He got back together with his family. Yeah, there's pictures and everything, them hanging out, having dinner. And he credits his wife. Dude, you know I got a little teary. I'd seen those pictures? Dude, I got to look him up.
Starting point is 00:35:29 Because I felt really bad. It's not him, but just the whole situation. No matter how bad anything is, like when you don't talk to your family like that, when, like, it's just for whatever reason, he never talked about why. But the fact that they got over all that and they're together again, that's a beautiful thing. I mean, I was estranged for my sister for like 10 years. Yeah. And my wife was like, hey, we need to figure this out.
Starting point is 00:35:58 And so. Similar. Maybe his wife did. But mine's real. We've seen here. You have a real life. You guys have met her. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:07 Do we think she's real? No. I don't think she's real either because they've been trying to find her forever. And no one has any clue. There's been, there's nothing. He's even said her name, right? Yeah, Brittany. This is so funny.
Starting point is 00:36:25 Are there marriage certificates? They can't find one. That's bizarre. But they could have got married anywhere. There are a whole podcast that have been like, let's find out who she is. And he keeps talking about her. If he wanted to keep her completely private. Right.
Starting point is 00:36:39 But even then... I don't think in this day you can keep someone completely private like that. Especially high profile, like Aaron Rogers. You can't. Like, somebody's going to follow you. Somebody's going to see you somewhere. Yeah. Or unless they just don't care enough.
Starting point is 00:36:52 Like that guy in the building today. Oh, dude. What was that? Scary stuff. This morning? Yeah. Yeah, I heard. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:01 Somebody's up here looking for me. What? Wait, was it really though? I don't know. The guy was really weird. I was staring at me. Oh, really? It was suss.
Starting point is 00:37:08 Wait, in the building? I heard about the guy out. Okay, okay, okay. But the security guy was like, stay right there. And then he went stop staring. Weird, man. I drove up, and I drove up. And he drove up right to him.
Starting point is 00:37:19 He's like, why are you hiding behind a pole? I was like, I don't know. I was told you. I drove up to a weird situation. Really? Yeah. Eddie thought I was waiting on him. I was like, hey, dude, you can go on.
Starting point is 00:37:28 He's creeping up on you. I got to get my bag out and stuff. You're good. You've heard the chaos. Now you can see it. Hello. My gosh. Watch all your favorite podcasts from start to finish.

Meaning, man, they really need it. Like they really need it.
Starting point is 00:41:24 The lines. The Jets. I would put... Well, I guess the Browns, right? I don't know. Like, what team needs. I would say the Bills. The Bills is a big one.
Starting point is 00:41:35 And all of these are fair. And I'll go first. I think it's the Bills because, one, well, they didn't win all those years they went. Secondly, they've been really good. I know. And so it's a mix of them getting close back in the 90s. It's a mix of them being really,
Starting point is 00:41:52 really good as of late. And it's a mix of them just not winning it. So I'm going to go bills, but I completely understand the lions. You can go now on the lions. Yeah, I just think like the bills, they've been close to the last couple of years. And a couple years ago when they were like 14 and 2 or whatever, it was 14 and 3, and then they lost to the commanders unexpectedly. And just that city, man.
Starting point is 00:42:13 I want to see that city because they are so just emotional in their team. Dan Campbell, so I hope they get it done. And who'd you pick the Jets? I first thought the Jets just because I mean Gosh there's just trouble over there Like I feel like I feel bad for The New York fans who picked the Jets Like the Giants they've had their time and all that
Starting point is 00:42:32 But the Jets I mean back in Super Bowl 2 or whatever Like with Joe Namath Who knows when that was the last time they saw any success Like 1969 when he predicted he'd win And they did Yeah he predicted it That's legit
Starting point is 00:42:45 You've seen that clip Oh yeah No I've seen the clip where he tries to make out with a reporter Yeah Susie Colbert, right? I remember that, yeah. He's all drunk on the sideline. He should not have been driving.
Starting point is 00:42:56 Brandon, who did you say? I'm going to say cowboys. Yeah, I think cowboys are a big one too. I'd put the Cowboys at three because I'd go Bill's, Lyons, Cowboys. Why do the Cowboys need it more now? Because they've been held to a higher standard because they get clicks and views
Starting point is 00:43:14 and they haven't done it since the 90s. And they've had good quarterbacks. They've had good defenses. They've had star players. It just hasn't worked. Yeah. And people love when they don't win. They love it.
Starting point is 00:43:28 They love Hayden on the Cowboys. Hey, guys, let's not talk about it. Does I have anything to do with Jerry Jones getting older, too? What, the people love Hayton on the Cowboys? No, I'm just saying, like, would you like to see him get one more, I guess? I don't care. I never considered that in my thinking of the Cowboys. But now that you say that, I think he would like to see one more.
Starting point is 00:43:44 Well, yeah. He would definitely like it. Yeah. Yeah. I think he's staying alive. Yeah. Just to see it one more Do you watch The Odyssey?
Starting point is 00:43:54 No, I haven't seen it yet Are you once to? I want to see it? We just We gotta get a babysitter I mean, it's a long movie It reminds me of something For that movie I'm not gonna spoil it though
Starting point is 00:44:01 What reminds you? The getting old Jerry Jones staying alive Until the Cowboys won one You watch The Odyssey I'm trying to think It's as good as everyone says It's really good
Starting point is 00:44:11 I really want to see it And I love when something's overhyped I love to come back and be like Overhyped My favorite thing Saying something's overhyped Man of my top things in life to do Probably number six, that's overhyped.
Starting point is 00:44:23 Nice. It wasn't. It was really good. Who does Jerry Jones play in The Odyssey? He actually plays Matt Damon, who plays Adysius. That's range, man. And he got ripped just for that movie. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:36 Do you not get the reference? I get it now. Okay. I have to think about it. Mike, you get it right? I get it. Yeah. I got to see it.
Starting point is 00:44:42 I don't know why I was thinking so hard about it. I'm almost done with the agency. Season two? Yeah. Good, huh? So good. Yeah. Dude, I took my kid to go see me.
Starting point is 00:44:50 minions and monsters this weekend. I'm watching all these people walk, walk into the Odyssey. I'm like, man. I heard that movie was really bad. Dude, we, he literally wanted to leave. He's like, a kid wanted to leave minions? Yeah, because, I mean, he was super tired from the day before, but he was also like, can we go, can we go home? I was like, yeah, let's go home. Usually the parents want to get out of there, but the kid, that's, that's strange. Yeah, it was about like an hour in, so I was like, yeah, let's go. Yeah, my wife took my seven-year-old, and they were both like, It was bad. Wait, so Brandon, you don't know how it ended?
Starting point is 00:45:22 You don't know who won? Minions or... I don't know who won. Cowboys or bills or monsters or lions. I don't know, and I think I'm good. Ah, your kids hated it too, huh? Yeah, they don't like it. That's good to know, man.
Starting point is 00:45:32 Mike, did you watch that one? Yeah, I didn't think it was that bad. I enjoyed it. I stayed the whole time. I don't know, Mike. When you do movies like that, because you're watching it, that's your job to watch movies. Yep.
Starting point is 00:45:41 Are you the only adult in a room with a bunch of kids? That one, yes. Are they loud? No, I go on, like, different times. where a lot of families don't go. Like late at night? So it's like 7 p.m. of minions isn't going to have a lot of families.
Starting point is 00:45:55 Yeah, that's a good point. They show it at 7 p.m. Yeah. Weird. Yeah, that is a good idea. Kevin, what's your update on your knee? Guys, I have surgery coming. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:46:05 Yeah. Another one. So did they tell you something from your MRI? Yeah. So, oh yeah, I think it was the one when you were gone here. We talked about it, but the, I tore my meniscus. So the inner part of my knee tore my meniscus. and they checked it out, and then I met with a surgeon last week,
Starting point is 00:46:23 and he was just talking about like they're going to try to save as much as they can, because the more they have to take out, the more likely you are to have arthritis at a young age, and then the longer recovery. So there's three steps to it. One is I'm walking within like two days, no problem. Another is a couple weeks. Another is I'm on crutches for a month.
Starting point is 00:46:41 And I won't know until he gets in there. That's weird. I know. Man, crutches, you got to do the leg roller, if that's the case. I agree. Crutch has hurt so bad. They're like, your armpits.
Starting point is 00:46:53 Your armpits aren't ready for that. No. Just the two days or three days I was on them a couple weeks ago. I was like, this sucks. But it could also be a minor cleanup. Yes. Like it could be almost nothing.
Starting point is 00:47:04 You go in, you take it easy. Yeah. So this Friday I have surgery. Dang. And it's a arthroscopic surgery. So I don't have to go to a hospital. It's like an outpatient. Yeah, which is nice.
Starting point is 00:47:14 And I feel, honestly, I feel great. Like, comparative of where I was a couple weeks ago, I feel really good. You know what makes you feel even better? Skins League. 17%. Damn. Think about it.
Starting point is 00:47:26 Hey, take your... If I survive this... Make the decision while you're under. Surgery. No, make a deal with God. If I live through this, I'm going to do skins league. That's what it is. That's what it is.
Starting point is 00:47:35 I take that. If you let me live through the surgery, God, I'm going to do skins league. We're there when you wake up. So what he said? There you go. What's unhealthy about that? Nothing. He saw Marshawn Lynch at the airport.
Starting point is 00:47:48 What? No, you. Yeah, dude. In Nashville? Yeah. Whoa. Yeah, when I went on that vacation, literally, as soon as we got there, checked our bags in, then we're walking to the gates, and all of a sudden out around the corner, this big guy.
Starting point is 00:47:59 Like, not tall, but just big baggy hoodie on, sweatpants on, hat, sunglasses, and a bunch of bags by himself. And I was like, walking by literally seven feet away, I was like, beast mode. And he's like, you said that? You said that. Yeah. And Kevin strikes again. Yeah. I know he said.
Starting point is 00:48:17 It's Adam. I just kept walking. He was walking towards us. We were walking right by him and I'm like walking my wife and kids. I'm like, Beast Mode. And he just looked at me and he's like, and then just kept walking. Wow. That was it.
Starting point is 00:48:29 Were you drunk? No. No, not at all. I was just like. I think that's him? Yeah, it's got a game. What would have happened in that interaction if it was perfect for you? What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:48:40 Like what? You yell Beast mode and then perfect, perfect scenario. What happens? He goes, what oh man, you kick off Kevin? No, I'm just kidding. Hey, are you the guy the guy of the group chat? I heard about that. Your mom told me you're a wussy.
Starting point is 00:48:56 No, if he would have been like, yeah, what up, man? And that was it. But once he just gave me like the, he didn't even say anything. No, no, no, but walk through what could have been best case scenario there. Okay, all right, I'm walking by. Not fantasy, but literal best case scenario. And I'm like, beast mode. And then he just stops.
Starting point is 00:49:10 And he was just like, what's up, man? How you doing? Take a picture with him. Say what's up to him real quick. You want him to get a picture? How you doing? Yeah, how you doing? Hey, I do a podcast.
Starting point is 00:49:18 You want to come on, maybe. Oh, now we're there. Now we're there. How often are you in Nashville? Whenever you come back, do you want to come on? He's like, come over to Chili's with me. I'm here by myself. The airport Chili's.
Starting point is 00:49:29 Red Lobster. That was he huge? Not tall, but thick, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And a lot of hair. A lot of hair. I wonder what he was doing here. Was it hard not to know it's him?
Starting point is 00:49:41 Oh, it was so easy. Like, he had, because first of all, he had like seven bags with him. Like, he had a cart. carrying a backpack and another bag in his hand and nobody was with them. He's wearing a Seahawks helmet. And he just comes around the corner and he could just tell, I mean, yeah,
Starting point is 00:49:58 you got a big old hat on and he has long hair. He had a lot of bags with him. Yeah. So he's moving. No, that's not how to move. No, that's no, no. I don't know how you got there, but no, no, no, no. That's not how you moved.
Starting point is 00:50:10 Like, I don't know if it was clothes equipment or what, but it was a lot of stuff. Do you guys see Donald Trump won another club championship? over the weekend golf? At his club? Yeah, so I think he's won like 40 club championship. Of course he has. Oh no. Dude, can you imagine?
Starting point is 00:50:26 Did you see that he even tweeted out? He was like, yeah, I shot a 70 and they showed one shot. I think he was shooting it. 70s. He said a lot of people, you know, work guys, but I have skill, and he's being serious. And I think they said it was his 40th club championship that he's won. Yeah, no one's challenging him. Dude, it's not that nobody's playing and beating him.
Starting point is 00:50:45 They're rigging the scores. Of course they are. That's so Kim Jong-il whenever they showed his round and golf and he had hole in one and every hole. If you were playing against him, would you just laugh? Well, everybody that's played against him
Starting point is 00:50:59 and even a couple people that I know that's played with them, so at the same time, they say he either goes up and cheats or has somebody go up and move his ball and cheat all the time. That's crazy. He has that thing that you strapped to your ankle
Starting point is 00:51:10 and drops it out. There was a story that came out because it's ridiculous because you can watch. He's old. Yes, man. And even if it's the seniors, you're playing 55-year-olds, and any club has awesome golfers.
Starting point is 00:51:22 It doesn't matter what club it is. There are golfers there that are scratch golfers for the most part. The weirdest part was they said the last time he played in a tournament that it wasn't his. He played in that AAC tournament in Lake Tahoe. Okay. The one of the celebrities playing. And over three days, he shot 53 over.
Starting point is 00:51:40 And that's the last tournament that he could, wasn't his club championship. And then at his club, he shoots a seven. Over and over again, older. That's believable. This is a golf person. You have to be like, what is happening? Oh, my goodness. But it's his club, and he says it.
Starting point is 00:51:56 And he's the president. And he's the president. But he was winning him before he was the president. Just because it was his club. Yeah. Power. Have you ever played in club championships? I've never played in a single event at my club.
Starting point is 00:52:09 Dude, you should do that. I've never played in a member member member of a member guest. Oh, member of guest. That sounds fun. Literally, you could go play with me. Let's go. Yeah, that's right. Sounds fun day.
Starting point is 00:52:19 I've never signed up for a single thing. I have a membership. I have a locker. I've only ever seen it once. What's in there? Nothing. You didn't put anything in there? No, because I might want it.
Starting point is 00:52:28 Use it. I don't go up there a whole lot. I just don't, one, since the baby, I haven't played golf, but since last year, my ankle, before surgery, I didn't play golf. And also, just, I don't know anybody there. I just, I don't really do stuff with people. Yeah. Oh, yeah. And sometimes, like, sign up with your, you know.
Starting point is 00:52:45 Other member friend, and the only person I know in my club is Ryan Hurd, and he has family that's in the club, so his family always plays together. And then also they're like two and three day tournaments. I can't do that. Oh, they are? Sometimes they're a weekend, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. That's too much. I don't know if we can do that. Eddie, I don't know if we can do that.
Starting point is 00:53:04 Well, a member guess, you know. Why don't you join so he has a friend and a reason to go? That's it. Yeah, yeah. People love to ask me that, too. What club are you a part of him? I'm like, the Muni. It's called Muni.
Starting point is 00:53:17 It's right down the road. Dang. Do you feel embarrassed to say that? No. You shouldn't. I just feel like. It's a waste of money. It's just a weird question, like to assume that someone's in a club, you know?
Starting point is 00:53:27 Like, and I never know how to. Sometimes I just want to be like, yeah, Trubidor. Yeah, but you play golf and you have a position that some people feel there's prominence to it. So they just expect. Yeah, I guess so. And you're a good golfer. Decent. I'm a decent golf.
Starting point is 00:53:43 But I mean, it's just a weird, I don't know. Brandon's glides in you right now. I like it. I took it. Probably like the best golfs. In a while. And you too, Kevin? Wow.
Starting point is 00:53:53 How do you do it? He just wants to get in that skin's leak. And you can't play because your knee. I know. But you're walking okay though, Kevin. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I feel okay. I mean, certain tweaks here and there for sure, but I got a brace on 24-7,
Starting point is 00:54:09 other than when I sleep, I guess. But it's just, he's like, yeah, the more. you can say I'll fit right now the better because you just don't know at any point it could just go again. Is your brace like a big like Jalen Hertz brace or like Larry Bird? That's a slip on. It's a slip on. It's in the picture where he's showing off his muscle and his tattoos but you don't see it because you're staring at his muscle and his tattoos.
Starting point is 00:54:28 It's not the one with a Native American? It's in there too. Oh actually no that wasn't me in there. Why were you wearing the shoulder brace? To hold my kid. Oh, that was the yeah because we were doing a lot of walking. Gotcha. And the strollers of pain with all those people and the tours and stuff. So we just put a sling just to help that support. I thought something happened to your shoulder again.
Starting point is 00:54:46 No, that was earlier in the year. Yeah. I was going to read this and then we can call it, but I'm happy football is coming back, but it's just not going to be a good year for Arkansas. There's not even any fake hope. Sometimes I get a fake hope. But I was reading this article by Tray Biddy who writes for 24-7. I think it's 24-7, let me make sure.
Starting point is 00:55:08 Yeah. And I have an account, so. In this article, He did one that was talking about why Arkansas could surprise people, and the article was fine. They did one that was like why Arkansas is not going to surprise people. I'm going to read you a paragraph now that really hurt. From the second one? Since 2012, over the last 14 seasons, Arkansas as a program, is a pathetic 69 and 103, which is 40% in that time span.
Starting point is 00:55:36 Arkansas has been the worst program in the conference since 2012. Where's the Missouri? Worst in Mississippi State. worse in South Carolina. Worst to Kentucky. And where's the Vanderbilt. we are the worst Wow
Starting point is 00:55:45 I wouldn't think that's true But I guess I mean he knows the numbers He's sharing the numbers Yeah I mean like it's I would pick Vandy Other than this last year
Starting point is 00:55:56 Two years yeah But damn that's sad dude And if you pick them You'd be wrong I know God you guys are the worst We're the worst That's rough man
Starting point is 00:56:04 I'm sorry you And what's your schedule Like this year We start with the Cowboys then you play Ohio State we have it we have according to ESPN the number one we're schedule all my really here we go yeah I can I can read it to you
Starting point is 00:56:21 but we also like our non-conference when everybody else is playing Nichols or whoever we're playing Utah we go to Utah we go to Utah and play Utah oh immediately so okay let's see here are you gonna go to any of them you think I don't know I mean we have a house there now I would love to I don't know I I really have an issue with our athletic director
Starting point is 00:56:40 It's going to be a long season, boys. Let's see here. Hopefully that skins game gets better. Okay, here we go. Strength of schedule. This is from ESPN Analytics, not from me. Number one worst, which is the hardest strength of schedule, Arkansas, the whole country. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:59 And why I have this image is I sent it to my father-in-law, because number two is Oklahoma. Oh, wow. Oh, really? Number three is Texas. Number four is Kentucky. Number five's Ole Miss. And it's a lot of SEC. just playing each other.
Starting point is 00:57:12 But, yeah, Arkansas has the worst number. We have a bad team and the number one worst strength of schedule. Hey, but you never know, man. Yeah, you do. Good try, Kevin. I've been doing this for way too long. Shut you down. Real quick.
Starting point is 00:57:25 I have found hope in the most hopeless of times. That's fair. So that's what's up. Sorry, dude. On that note, we're done. Thank you, everybody for being here. Thank you for listening. Thank you for being a friend.
Starting point is 00:57:37 Travel down the road and back again. Eddie, out. We're going to get your schedule. Played Georgia. Well, they're SEC, but yeah. Tennessee. Yeah, we played Utah as a non-conference.
Starting point is 00:57:49 Texas, LSU. The back end if it looks tough. The whole thing looks tough. Dang, yeah. It's like when you look at the schedule and you know all those teams and you know they're pretty good, that's tough. How's Vandy going to be this year? Good. Wow.
Starting point is 00:58:07 What were you saying? You said, Eddie, what? You blow the whistle. Oh, yeah. Can we get out of here? I got it. I got there. All right.
