Oh, God. That sucks for James J.J. McCarsey. He's out for the year. We went from like, oh, just a few weeks. Well, they said a few weeks, right? I mean, we didn't diagnose them. No, I know, I know. But it was like, hey, it could be just a few weeks.

Because that meniscus, it's an interesting thing because you can actually remove it and keep playing. But then your legs, when you get older, it's going to hurt real bad. So who cares about when you're older? You know what I mean? Exactly. Well, when you're 22, you probably don't. Or you can repair it and it takes three, four, five, six, seven weeks. Or, like, apparently this one was worse than they had initially thought and shared.

And now he's out for the year. That sucks. great for Sam. Sam Brown. Like that dude's probably like, he has to do one of those like, yes, but no way can see him. Yeah, that's tough. Or sometimes you're like, but you can't outwardly do that. Because there's no competition now. But I think he will be serviceable, but also it was almost a terrible, terrible day.

Jordan Addison got taken off on the cart. So, and Jordan Addison had 10 touchdown. I'm going from memory here, like 10 touchdowns last year, 6, 700 yards. could be a number one anywhere else if they already didn't have arguably the best receiver in football turns out he's okay but it was almost a disaster from Minnesota

they almost just packed up and did no team this year in one day we're going to sit out this year but if you're a Vikings fan that sucks no let me take it back it still could actually be okay

because we didn't know that Sam Donald may not be the quarterback anyway so probably something good out of it is J.J. McCarthy is going to be here on the complex. He's going to learn. He's not going to be pushed in. There's going to be no quarterback controversy. It could be a net gain for the Vikings, just a slight less bit of excitement

because the guy you drafted in top 10, is it top 10, right? Number 10? 10? 11. I believe 10. Whatever is not going to really be able to play this year. So that sucks for the Vikings. Yeah. A little setback.

But it also could actually be a set forward because they may just, Darnold may be fine. Sam Donald never really had a chance. Like ever in his career? Well, think about these quarterbacks when they go one through eight or nine. Occasionally you have a good team that has a bad year and they get very fortunate. But mostly it's bad teams. That's why they keep getting the best players because they suck. Sucky teams usually suck for more than one season.

Usually it's incompetence inside the organization. Owners. Bad owners hire bad executives. bad executives hire bad coaches and all the way down. So, like, I think, like, Tim Couch, I think he would have been pretty good. He went to the stupid Browns way back in the day. I don't know why that comes to my head as like somebody. It's so random, right?

Yeah, yeah. Yeah, for sure. So random. But every once in a while, like teams get lucky. Like when Golden State is basketball, but Golden State was really bad because they lost everybody. And they got high draft picks. So it's rare that a good team gets a high pick. Like, read me the top, number one.

Well, so it would have been Carolina, but it was the Bears. But the Bears suck anyway. The Bears have sucked forever. Years. The Bears haven't had a good quarterback in forever. Yeah. If ever. McMahon.

And he was not even really a good quarterback. And again, you're talking about, I can barely remember Jim McMahon. He was just somebody who was flashy, but that was a defensive base team with Walter Payton. It wasn't like they threw a lot then. But yes. Okay, fair enough. Jim McMahon. Go ahead.

That's it. Mitch Trubesky was a hero. It was supposed to be. Who else you want to go with? Rex Grossman? Rex Grossman. It's supposed to be the guy. Jay Cutler?

And Jay Cutler probably their best. Yes. Wow, that's great. He was entertaining at least. That's crazy. I would say their best quarterback ever was Jay Cutler. Yeah. Over Jim McMahon.

They won with Jim McMahon. Yeah. But I'm saying if it's just a quarterback, could you think, yeah, Super Bowl Shuffle. That's what I remember. If you're just looking for a quarterback to do quarterback things, I think Cutler is probably that guy. I can't believe Grossman got to the Super Bowl.

I know. That's crazy. Yeah. So Vikings, that kind of sucks. But I think it could be a net gain in the end of McCarthy. Hills up is good. It has a year to be in the NFL. You know, second half of the year probably gets to train a little bit.

But, and for Sam Darnold. Yes. Like a secret yet. Yeah. Yes. It's really good. Yes. Let's go over and do the tittle tittle.

And by the time this airs, because we're doing this late Thursday, this will put that come out on Friday. Like, has that he been traded yet? No. Okay, so it kept going. The Steelers have a plan. We all know the stuff he didn't want to do. He didn't want to go to the Patriots.

Heck, I don't want to go to Patriots right now. I don't even play, and I'm good. I don't want to go to the Patriots. We kept hearing the Steelers. Then it was like there's a plan. So this may all be gone. but the last I had heard was the Steelers were making a move, but also the 49ers were like,

no, we're building the structure to actually keep him here. So could be done. That's for Iuke. Yeah. That's the trade I'm thinking of. Not CD. Yeah,

not CD land. No, I didn't think that. Nothing's going to happen there. Nothing's going to happen. They're going to pay him, but they're going to have nobody else. I mean,

So first, I could not go to a Georgia or Alabama. SEC, rivals? No, just really good. I would feel like such a freaking loser, quitter, trader. Just to go jump. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, that's all I was thinking. we go straight to

So But I don't want to go there, but I can like a pre. I like South Carolina. I like Coach Beamer. What about Texas? They suck and they're very optimistic. No, they went to the college football playoff last year. He hates them so much.

I know, but you'd trade myself out of sports. Before that. Rather than to be a Longhorn fan. I was on Paul Feinbaum and Eddie and I were on Baltimore at the baseball card extravaganza. And he was like, what's the worst fan base? And I think he only puts me on because he knows I'll actually answer the questions because I think Feinbaum has a lot of really legitimate sports, you know, prognosticators, analysts and who are going to actually talk about things that matter.

But he knows with me and go like, who do you hate? And I'll just answer it. I have no problem. And I said I hate Texas football. And here's why growing up we had to hate Texas. They were big brother. They had everything. We had nothing.

And I said, anybody that I hate Texas and Tennessee, you have to respect somebody to even think about them. Like there are teams that I probably don't like. I mean, I don't think about USC. They're not a threat. Yeah, it's like I'm not close. Proximity-wise, I didn't grow up hating them. We never played them.

I don't respect really them because I wasn't. But there are teams I easily could be like, nah, they went too much. I'm annoyed. But like Texas, they would beat the crap out of us. I hate it. I hate Texas. But it's out of respect because they're a big program.

I wish we had the money they had. Tennessee. I live in Tennessee now. And I never really like Tennessee because 98 was bad for us. We were a game way from National Championship. We won that. We have the ball. We don't fumble. It's on. What year was that? 98.

We ended up beating him in 99, doing the same thing to them, kind of. But that hurt. And now you're born in 98? No, I'm just saying that was a good year, man. Why would you whisper? Say it like a man. Yeah, that was a good year. Speak up, man. Yes.

So hate Tennessee. The orange. You hate the orange. But respect Tennessee. I think Hypo. I mean, who doesn't wish Hypo was their coach? Right. He's turned that program around quick.

And I was telling fine ball on that. Like I hate them, but like you have to respect somebody to hate them or you just don't think about them. And then he said, okay, well, who is it? And so I said, okay, without a doubt. And I think he was ready for me to go Texas or Tennessee because I'd set him up. And I said, Kentucky basketball. I said, I'd put him hand by hand and walk them all into a river and say goodbye. And individually, and individually, I have a lot of Tennessee, Kentucky basketball fans that I like.

But as a group, to me, they are the worst. Do I respect them? Absolutely. They win. They show up. But they're annoying as crap. And so that's the question that I answered by who I didn't like. Yes. And I liked it.

I thought it was pretty good appearance. He kept me on longer than... And I like Fine Bomb's cool, and I like Paul a lot and got to know him a little bit. But he's cool because he'll keep you on longer if you're doing well. It's like the old talk shows back in the day where Johnny Carson, they'd say keep you for an extra segment if you were killing. And so they were like, hey, you're going to go on to eight minutes with Fine Bomb. They asked me to come on. No problem. I go on and then it was like a 17 minute hit and I was like man I must have been on

Nice because sometimes I don't know I'm really on or really off but I'm still going with passion It's not until afterward I'm like well that appearance might have sucked do you ever just black out Don't understand the question like when you're getting interviewed like that and you're just in the zone And you don't know if you're off or on in the moment I'll do the opposite of blacking out I'll start over-evaluating thing I will not not say something if it's funny in my head I'm just going to say it. But in mid-interview, I'm starting to go, I'm starting to reevaluate what I said. And I'm like, oh, my God, I'm going to cancel for that. I don't care about the team stuff, but I said something about getting kicked in the nuts or something. In the interview, yeah, something like LSU,

I made like a penis or a nut joke. And then I'm like, oh, I forgot I'm on like national radio, like broadcast, not just satellites, on satellites, on ESP, SEC Network. And TV show, yeah. And I just wanted to make sure I didn't say anything that I wouldn't have wanted on my show. And then I did and it was fine. I said something like LSU, we're going to kick him in the nuts or something. But I will do the opposite. I'll be extremely over-evaluating mid-interview. But I like that. And there are times where I do feel like I'm in the zone. And there are times where I go back and listen to it. And I was like I was not in the zone. But like Rich Eisen, I felt like you were rolling. And I did not because I was on Xanax. I know that. But I'm just there you might have

blacked out. And that's why when I went in, I said, hey, I just, I don't normally take this to fly. I took it because I didn't sleep well last night. So anything I say can and will be held against me, but I don't want it to be. I don't go back and watch my appearances almost ever because I always hate myself, even if I do well. But I felt like I remember watching Rich laugh so hard. There were like two times, not even sure what I said, but he was laughing so hard, I thought this is going pretty good. That's awesome. That's usually when I can tell if something's going well.

If I can get the person who always has people to like genuinely laugh, And I think I'm going to go with Oregon. It's my fan. I'm trading my fan base. Oh, yeah. Back to the question. Back to the question. A light landing.

He's younger than us, which is weird. Yeah, so weird. He's a big dude. Yeah, and like. And tough. Yeah. Like, tough, dude. Yeah.

Like, I'd be scared to play for him because he just seems like he's just serious and tough. Nebraska seems fun. Oh. Now, here's why they have a history of winning. I think they hold on to their winning a little too much because they haven't been good in a long time. But I can understand, listen, I still wear a 1994 Razorback Basketball Championship shirt because it's all we have. If we had a 98 or 2003, I'd be wearing that one, but it's like, we have 94. It's all we have.

That's fair. Rules to coach there now. I think they're on their way to bounce about. Yeah, they got that Riola, that quarterback. They got number one quarterback. And their fans are really nice. Like, anytime I've been around Nebraska people for any, like sports fans, like I feel like they're like, they're, like, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're. They're a kind group, and I like that.

We're going Oregon, Nebraska, and finally, BYU. Just the Mormon curveball they had to throw in there? Yeah, no drinking, no caffeine. That sounds fun. Oh, that's true style. I want to sleep. Yeah, like, the religion part, not for me. No, I don't want to be Mormon, but everything else about it,

that's pretty good. Like, I live like that anyway. That's fair. I'm as Mormon as you can be without being a Mormon. That is true. So I'm going to Oregon. Eddie's going. Whoever's number one in the poll.

Yeah. All right. All right. We just talked about it, JJ McCarthy out for the year. Where do you put the Viking ceiling out this year now? I think the ceiling is higher than what it was. It sucks the McCarthy's out. I think the ceiling is higher, though.

I think there will be a year of development they don't get out of it. him but they were at seven to ten last year i think they can win nine or i think they win nine or ten games they're a pretty good team and sam darnald in that offense is going to shine a bit and i think what i was talking about earlier with sam darnal like look he played for the freaking panthers and the jets those were bad bad bad teams i mean heck they still are i mean the jets would be pretty good this year. But like he didn't have a shot. He goes to San Francisco. They raved about him as a backup. I think he has, I think the thing they would say about him, because I was reading some of why they thought Sam Donald

still wasn't good. I think his release is a little slow. I don't know what the difference. All looks good to me. Right. Right. I never, when they say that, I don't know what they're talking about. Well, I mean, I know what they're talking about. I can't see it. It's like when someone's like, man, that's a great actor or that's a pretty good actor. They all look good to me. I'm watching a movie. I never watch a movie and go, that actor sucks. But see, like, to that point, though, like Tom Hanks is good because he can play, you know, Forrest Gump, and then he can play this Serbian dude stuck in an airport. I can, and you're not thinking, ooh, that's Forrest Gump.

No, no, but I can respect that, but I don't see a bad actor and go, oh, that guy's a crappy actor in like a movie. I've never done that. Oh, really? Sometimes I'll watch him be like, he's definitely acting. Like, I don't buy that. Is it because, though, they're associated with another character, though? Yeah. Yeah, like, Joaquin Phoenix to me is always Joaquin Phoenix. That's a personal thing.

Not the character. It's just weird walking. You're broken. You're broken. Movie Mike, you can, because you do spend so much time. I can tell. If we had spent so much time in a movie, I think we all could. Yeah.

I don't spend a lot of time measuring the release times of NFL quarterbacks. I will say with shooters now, I was watching Steph, and I see some of the drills they do now where they do the very quick. And Steph did it in the Olympics last game against France, where it's, as soon as he catches it, it's like, it's not even the straight. How quick can you get the release off shooting at three? But it's like super quick release.

Have you guys seen those? Yes. That's awesome. So that I can tell the difference, but that's a whole different shot. But anyway, Oregon and nine. Nine and eight. Ten is a ceiling. For the Vikings?

For the Vikings. Dang. They have two great wide receivers. They throw the ball a lot. And Aaron Jones? Oh, he's in the backfield. Yeah, yeah, fine. Aaron Jones is fine.

Solid. Yeah, there's a solid six out of ten back. So I think the Vikings can be pretty good. All right. Next up. All right. Which wide receiver holdout is more awkward? I yuk in the Niners or lamb the Cowboys.

I don't know if Iyukes is a true holdout. That's the weird part about it is he, he's like, find me a trade. Nah, I don't want that one. Find me a trade. I'll pass. So if it is a holdout, that's a pretty awesome one because he's like making them do extra work. Yeah, he's making him work and find other teams. No, even if he didn't want a team.

Like, if he just always says no. Yeah. It doesn't matter who he comes with. Nah, I'm good. The CD-Lam one is a little more awkward because Jerry Jones is awesome. It just says crap. And Jerry Jones is like, yeah, we'll get to it.

You know, we plan on talking about it at Thanksgiving dinner. Until then, let's just play ball. He just says crap. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, he's done it so many times. And I would also say CD-Lam's a better player than a... I like so yeah thank you

to be fair though about time to be fair I mean Cady Lamon if he's not on that Dallas offense what the heck do they even do nothing they don't have any I mean well Brandon Cooks no we put Zika at center and we just do that play over I saw that yeah that is not going to work

the CD Lam one is a little awkward and hilarious because it's been so much more public by the people doing it the Brandon Ayuk trade it's we're just hearing about what's happening more than actually seeing the star players talk about it. Like Jerry Jones.

Even like C.D. Lamb, didn't he like LOL? Did he like retweetin the LOL? That's what I'm talking about. What are they doing? That's why I like. So that's why it's awkward, but that's fun for me. All right, next up.

Last one year. After trading for Judon this week, where do you rank the Falcons in the NFC? I don't know because it's different. They're different. New coach. He's now offensive coordinator. Where did he go to... Arthur Smith?

Yeah. He's now OC somewhere. New, obviously, Kurt Cousins is a quarterback that doesn't really get his... Due, his flowers, because he's been really consistent without ever being like super awesome. He's been really consistent. Steelers. That's what it is. That's why I was thinking because Brandon I was going to go play for Arthur Smith.

And that was the thing, too. He was like, I'd like to go play in that offense. He said that. that for Arthur Smith. And then really, he's like, he's messing with the Niners. Right. So that's all new to me.

I think they can win 10 or 11 games. They're playing in a division that's not great. And so I think when you play all those teams twice, like that helps the total. So, I mean, I think they can win 11 games. I think Kurt Cousins, as a healthy quarterback all year, sealing at 11, maybe 12. I don't think you get to 12 unless you're playing those.

a weak division, but if Kurt gets hurt and now all of a sudden they're going to Pinnock's, I think they can win nine or ten. I think hopefully this is going to be the year that Pits catches more than a ball. You're going to draft him again? This is year four. I have to. I'm going to tell you, because I've drafted him every year. Every year.

I've either drafted him or been like, I really messed up by not drafting him. I'm going to trade form in week one. And every year, It sucks, and he doesn't suck, but no one's allowed him to be good or great. So Kirk Cousins also, the only time he gets his shine is when they pay him, meaning you give him $100 million, his deal in Washington, his deal in Minnesota. They were all big deals. And everybody's like, I can't believe he makes so much money.

But the reason that we're not like, Kirk Cousins is the greatest is because he's never like super dynamic, but he's always really good. Solid, reliable. Yeah. He's always really good to solid in that space. So I do think that because Atlanta has that I think they can win 10 or 11 games I think it's pretty cool I'm rooting for them

Yeah It'd be fun to have a that division have somebody That we're not like wow they get to host a game In the playoffs And they don't have a below 500 record Yeah Because both the South divisions That's kind of happened

So yeah And I like with the trade Obviously they're Building an organization now So I like it I'm rooting for the Falcons I don't want to trade him for my fan base though I don't want to have an NFL

We were talking about, I think Alex Morgan came up, and she didn't play on the soccer team. Yeah. And I think Amy or Eddie asked lunchbox, why wasn't she on there? And he goes, because she's old, you sucks. And I'm like, well, you can just say she's old because your skills deteriorate. You're not as fast. And then I said, Nick Foll's also retired, because Alex Morgan is still young as a human. I said, Nick Foll's just retired. And I said, do you guys?

know about Nick Falls a penis? And then they had this whole thing where they're like, you're weird. And what algorithm do you have? Yeah. And I was like, no, no, I think he's known for that. Yeah. Like other players would like make reference to. You heard that one time, Kevin, or you knew?

There's cards. It doesn't even have to be that for you, though. If you're not into that at all. The paintings. Yeah. Yes. What percentage? At the end of the year, it gives you the percentage of what top listenership Were you in? Was it five? Well, none from last year. He only started this year. So 0% last year. December 31st setting in the calendar to ask what your percentages. So sports card nonsense is the podcast that I listen to with Jesse and Mike. Recently on the show, you guys have been talking about people CT scanning card boxes. Yeah, we did. Was that work? Oh my God. Dude, it's a whole. Really? It freaks me out and it's a controversy. Would you please tell Eddie about the scanning of cards? I will tell you that the last three episodes

have had a portion about CT scanning. We almost never cover the same topic so much, but we've had to because it is such a big topic right now. People are legit taking CT scanners that you use in the medical field, and they're applying, well, if I can see inside a body, I can see inside a box of cards. And what if there's a box of cards

that may be worth tens, hundreds of thousands of dollars? If they have a certain card in it, great. Well, let me scan it. If it's not in there, no one has to know. I can now take my box that does not have the card I want, sell it at market value, and then keep trying until I do get the one. I like it. It's cheating.

It's cheating. Oh, okay, okay, okay. So do you like it for that reason? I like it too if it's not happening to me. Right. So I was blown away by the idea that people were using medical devices to scan inside of card boxes. And so I started just fangirling them on their account, like how true is this? So I bought this car.

So I bought this box here for $13,000. So this is... I'm afraid of it. I'm like looking at it and I don't even want to breathe on it. It is the Upper Dag Ultimate Collection. It's the 03 LeBron rookie year. And there is a card that has not been opened yet. If you ask collectors, it's the one of one LeBron signed rookie.

Yeah. Probably the most valuable card ever. If it goes up to auction, it'd be $4, 5 million. And it could be in there. Right. So my fear is somebody had scanned this box. already. I'm not going to lie to you. That is the box that they would scan. Of course it is. It is also how long have you had the box? How long have you had it?

For five days? It was just that bad. Cretches do not translate to podcast well, but I cringe when I heard that. Because here's the thing, if you had had it for a while, I wouldn't be too worried. But the fact that you just got it five days ago, it just started though. Literally so you have started doing this clip. But I saw, if they have. Jesse, I know, I appreciate you trying to make me feel better. I saw, I was watching the clips three weeks ago.

Yeah. And so then this goes up for sale on Fanatics. Okay. On collect. Yes. And so I won the auction. And again, I spent $13,000 on this box of cards where someone could have easily. Now, my question to you as a former doctor.

Yes. Let's make, yeah, Dr. Jesse. The CT scan, it mostly is able to see things protruding from cards. Because if it's just a flat surface. can it still read the card? Okay, so I asked this question to the salesman. The company that is doing this, I reached out to because I was like, I need to know more. And this is what I have heard.

There was also a guy Boston Card Hunter, I believe, he did a podcast with him, and he asked them some of these questions too. They clarified that so long as the card does not have any foil, any engravings, any difference in materials, or a heart, like, a heart like a ballpoint pin signature. If it has that then- Border wave and no one is in the bottom, no one has what?

That's a lot of variables. Here's the thing. It definitely has one, if not multiple of those things. So yeah, it's gonna have metallic materials in there. And more than like, like if you use the marker pin, you wouldn't be able to see this auto. But if it's, I don't know for sure if that's an on-card auto or a sticker auto. I think it's on-card.

It's gonna be on-card, right? I would think it's on-card, which means you would not technically be able to see the auto in that CT scan. So if someone did scan it, they may not be able to know if that auto was there. You're saying if and maybe a lot. I know. I'm just trying to value $13,000 is a lot of money. I don't want you to lose $13,000.

When were these boxes issued? Like when could the first time you can buy this box? Like 04? Oh, yeah. Late 20073, early dozen 4, yeah. More than likely early dozen 4. So that's a long time for people to CT citizens. This has only happened in the last six months.

Well, so here's a. man I am fighting here to trying to help you I don't put you to help me no no no I want I want honest I want yeah I want honest so this is what the companies that when I reached out to them about this I asked them like okay is there any proof of this has anybody been doing this and they showed over the last six month or three to four months six months and a year

progression going back of people posting online of hey if I was going to do this this is how I would do it and I have a CT scanner at work let me try this with a Pokemon box and all these. So technically, yeah, it's possible. What do you think, talking honestly here, what do you think the odds are that box has been scanned? Oh, very.

Any box in the world, the odds are low. That box in particular, I would say, less than 0.01. Oh. It is very. Don't go. You're not saying it as a friend. I did you say this.

I know this. I am saying this because the service that they are offering for people to go out and do this, you would have had to have an uncle who has a CT scanner in his basement, which we all have that uncle. Right. But other than that rare uncle, you are more than likely not going to have this sent into that service

that just started a few weeks ago. Isn't that scary, though, that is so scary. And it's all I can think about now is do I not even want to open the box and then resell the box? Let me help you out here. Go ahead. Go ahead and get that CT scan. That way you don't have to open the...

Yeah, that's possible too. You joined the dark side. That'd be part of the problem. starting scanning all your boxes. No, see, that's my fear. That's whatever. I'm afraid people are going to be too worried about it. And they're like, oh, well, now I need to make sure.

So I will scan my box. That's how that whole downslide starts to happen. I say, let's nib it in the butt. I'm not going to talk about it for at least five minutes. Five, six more minutes. Yeah, exactly. Because every time I listen to you guys, the last three episodes, it's like, I'm not going to think about it.

And you guys bring it up. Yeah. I know. That is the problem. though, it's a hot topic. You know, it's the next iteration of pack weighing. The guys, people that are trying to be collectors of cards that are more valuable, typically those cards might be off by a little difference because there's a patch in them or they weigh a little more because they've got a sticker on there. So they'll weigh the boxes to see, hey, is there something special in this box? This is the next iteration of weighing boxes. And people have kind of accepted that, hey, there are people that weigh, and we are going to move on past that. We're just a lot. We're just a lot. We're just a lot. We're just, we're just. We're just. We're just, we're just. We're just. And we're just, we're just It's not going to worry. I think like it's not real and we're just not going to worry about it. The real thing is going forward if you're getting new product, you don't have to worry about it. It's all coming straight from the factory. That's not CD scan.

This is the only time it's going to be a concern. And yeah, I don't, there's not anything to say, you have the circling stickers that have like a, some guy actually reached out to me. You said, I work in the medical field. They have stickers. You can put on things that show if it was CT scan. They need, maybe they need a certain. Oh, that's cool. And then I'll develop a sticker that does the eye. opposite.

It reverses that. Hey, I was looking, because I am a fan of you guys' show, I was looking on eBay to find Michael J. Fox like autos, back to the future. You listen to that? Yes. Oh, my God. Yes. Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd.

That's your thing. That's what you want. I want a Michael J. Fox back to the future. Either a hover deck, you know, the hoverboard, excuse me. I would like the hoverboard because they do sell those, but honestly, there are cards. That would be, I would just treasure that thing. forever. I put it under my pillow. I'd put it between me and the wife and I just like,

don't, that's Christopher Lloyd and Michael Jay's spot. We don't enter their spot. Yeah. Yeah, that would be my precious. And I, because again, if I'm, if I'm, correct me if I'm wrong here, but your main collectibles and cards are not sports. They're more, they're some, but more celebrity based. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I'm a big Shaquille O'Neal as a big man myself. I feel a little closeness to him. But other than, you know, the few different sports guys that I grew up with, I really am more into the non-sport thing. Like, in fact, Star Wars product, there's this thing, tops chrome, not only do they make baseball and all these others work, but they are now doing Star Wars. You know Bobby's, you know Bobby's never seen Star Wars? That's that. I haven't.

Do I show myself off the stage? That's what I'm saying. It's weird. How do I do? You've never seen, you don't, just don't care about it. That's not that. I like Game of Thrones Lord of Rings. I like aliens and time travel. So I am very, yes, I'm very nerdy and what people would consider traditionally nerdy. I just, as a kid, never watched it. And then there were 14 of them, and I was overwhelmed by what they were to catch up with. And so I just never got in.

Can I be honest with you? I've never seen Godfather. I mean, either. Oh, really? I never watched sopranos either. Should we hold hands or something? I don't know. And there's only three of those, right?

Or four of them. Yeah, exactly. like here's the thing about Star Wars. Are you a Star Trek fan? No, no, no, no, no. Okay, never mind. I was going to say, but I did like Star Trek and Ed McMahon.

No, no, no, no. That's different. Did you try out for Star Search? I could see that. Too young. I listened, I was literally in my daughter's room the other day. I told you this on the podcast that she listens to, she was listening to the, uh, the granny, I saw Grandma Naked song.

Just, I was. That's us. Yeah. I know. I was staying. That's me and Eddie. That's me and Eddie. That's what we did.

We do. We do you like, we're cool that way. The two of you? I'm not as much as much as like the song too. Yeah, no, no, no. Yeah, yeah. I was in the room. She was listening to that.

Anyways, we got way off track. Star Wars, the product that just came out, is like one of these things where now we're seeing not only is just a non-sport thing. Because it used to be like you had your sport card guys, you had your non-sport guys. Now you're seeing so much crossover between the two because Star Wars is such classic IP intellectual property that everybody, even your sports card fan, can get in on that and want the high-worldsport. on that and want the Han Solo, the Mark Hamill, Luke Scott. He had no interest. No, that's, that's Han Solo. No interest.

Luke Scott. Sports card nonsense, you guys, is my favorite. They also talk about sports, but turn it into really valuable. Sometimes Mike goes a little too deep for me, but, you know, that's show-based baby. Yeah. Congratulations on Bill. It's such a good show. I really appreciate you stopping by.

And so I went and spoke to different classes. I did like seven talks for different levels of classes in media. and I went to spoke to a small group of older students, not non-traditional, but like seniors, grad students. And I had like a little video because some of them just have no idea who I am. I don't expect them to. And I'm like, hey, before I start telling you my version and vision, watch this tape so you can like watch my resume so you don't think I'm just full of crap. Oh, cool. So it's like a 90-second thing.

It's like TV stuff, radio stuff, whatever. And Katie was the person who I gave the file to to load it in so she could put it up. And so I told the class, anybody that needs anything, like, let me help you, just email me. And so Katie email me. It was like, hey, can I like do an internship or something? And I'm maybe paraphrasing how it goes. And I'm like, no, you can't do an internship. But if you move to Nashville, I will pay you so you can say you had a job and add that to the resume.

That's better. That's pretty cool. Yeah. Way better. Again, you can intern your lights out. connections or and you know paid her and you can say you actually had a position in a somewhat respected organization and so Katie's been here but she's going back to finish her master's how much do you have I just have two semesters so almost done finish line is really close and so she's

still going to do some stuff for me and us as she's doing that I'm not going to kill her with stuff but she's still going to do some videos like you can kill me with stuff light stuff if you don't get your degree. I will kill you then. She flunks her final because she was doing a video. But this is it. She's going back to Arkansas. I did not know her beforehand. It was simply an email and I was like, I would love to help you. I hope that

this has been a really cool experience for you. It's been incredible. Like, private planes, Steve Young, Jim Edmunds. I cannot complain. I cannot complain. That's what she goes to? When did you ride those? Yeah, what show was that? That wasn't nice.

And that's also not normal. So she came into like an organization that we're pretty, yeah. Private Planned Steve Young Jim Edmunds. Aside from that, you guys have all been so welcoming. Like this is one of the fewest work environments that's just been like so incredible from the day one and consistent the whole way through. So I appreciate all of you guys so much for that. So you're going to go get your degree, and then what's the goal? What's the goal? Working in the entertainment industry, I mean, I can't sing and I can't act or anything like that, but I can talk to people. So something with that end of it, whether it be hosting something or anything in that area,

would be the goal. I went to school originally to do sideline reporting, so something with that or something with hosting. I'm open to anything in the industry, really. Well, we're rooting for it. we care about you. You've been awesome. You've had a lot of great stories and I don't know A plus all the way. Oh yeah. We give you an A plus so now you just need one more semester. That counts as a grade. Yeah. But if there's something too, if I can write like a sheet, because you're not an intern.

We said that from the very beginning. You are a paid employee and we're going to create some cool name for a position to like director of. Make it up. Oh yeah, of course. And then that's really what I'm going to say the job was so she can put it on a resume. Thanks. And so if there's like a job we can help you with or if you need me to write a letter to say you did intern, if it gave you credit, I'll also do that. Okay. But if not, you're not really an intern. I mean, this could be in her resume, right?

Like this is that she worked here. No, no, it should be. That's why we did it. Yeah. It'll be at the top. Like head director of digital for multiple properties, including. Yeah, whatever it is. We'll create the coolest title.
