and use the code Bobby Sports to get in on the
action. We're going to let our buddy Jordan Davis
whistle a sand. Go ahead, Jordan.
There he is. We're back. We're back.
We're back. We're back. Mike,
are we back? We're back. We're back. Jordan's
back with us. I'm always
curious because your schedule
is very odd, Jordan, with you traveling every
weekend. How many... Did you get
to watch the college games you wanted to
watch? Got to catch the
second half of the LSU
Florida game and I got to
catch the second half of Tennessee
Alabama so yeah we should jump in
both those games then I miss
my parlay because I had Alabama
I'll say this Tennessee fans great job
you won. Huge win for your program
I still think you're going to lose probably two
but huge win and maybe I just get annoyed
because I was around a lot of Tennessee people
yesterday and they were like I wonder who we're going to play the national
championship. They were already doing that
right oh gosh
And that's just tough to hear because I get it. It's fine.
And Big win. And it's awesome to rush the field.
Done it a couple times. It's amazing. So I'm just going to leave it there.
I did miss because I did have Alabama won in that game.
So I'm sorry I let you down. I feel like I let everybody down when I don't hit because we've hit so many times.
It's hard to hit those.
I know. But I feel like I let Bobby starts off 15 and O.
I know. Exactly.
I feel like such an embarrassment, such a failure.
So I'm very sorry I did not hit the parlay this week, the Alabama game.
got me. I thought they would win, that they'd
whoop. I thought they were going to, I thought they were going to
turn it around and actually second half, bend
them over. I honestly thought that it was
going to end up like a two-possession game.
What did you think of that one? I took Alabama
too, so. But, I mean,
Tennessee is, you know,
I didn't know what to take leaving the LSU
game. So LSU's not a great
team. Tennessee rolled us. But we also
had a couple of fourth downs
that we should have maybe punted. It could have been closer.
I just thought Alabama
was a better defensive
team and I did not think that Tennessee
was going to be able to carve them up like they did.
Bryce Young is so good. I know
they lost. I get it, but they scored 100 points.
That ain't his fault. He's so
good. And he was getting
smacked. Constantly. A lot of pressure.
Yeah. And dude, those running backs from Alabama, man.
Those guys got some wheels.
And we should give the praise of Tennessee
as well. But I just remember thinking if Rice Young's not your number one
quarterback over C.J. Stroud going into
the draft, what's wrong with you?
Yeah. I mean, slightly
undersized. But a lot of
of those guys are now. You don't have to be sized
the same way because it's not all about drop back
and throw. I think that's the thing
is that you're seeing it with, although they lost
yesterday, but Kyler Murray, like, you know,
even Jaylen Hurts, like moving the pocket,
getting outside, making plays, like, yeah, I think Jayland,
I mean, Bryce Young is going to
fit just fine anywhere in the NFL.
A game of the year so far. Would we all agree?
Oh, yeah. 100%. It was awesome.
Tennessee fans, congratulations.
That really was an epic win, and I like to watch
just pure joy on
people's faces, and that's what was
happening.
Yeah.
Which, by the way, five touchdown receptions in a game.
Unbelievable.
Yeah.
How do you not guard him after, like, I don't know, three?
Did you see how Mad Sabin was after, too?
Four?
Yeah.
He went off in the press conference.
Yeah.
And what about the penalties from Alabama?
I know.
You never see a Sabin coach team.
Texas was the other game.
But the second time this year, where it's just rack up 100 plus yards and penalties.
They have the most in the FBS this year.
That's great.
Yeah.
Which is unheard of with Sabin.
A great win.
All you Tennessee fans, you deserve it.
I'm not even going to say anything.
about the home cooking it with the calls.
Just slightly, though.
Not a ton, just slightly.
But you deserve it.
You deserve to get the home.
If your crowd is that loud,
you should almost get a cup.
It's like, okay,
the refs should have a meeting and go,
okay, depending on,
it's like an encore.
Yeah.
For a musical artist.
All right, you finish your set
if they're really into it.
You're like, all right,
maybe we'll go out and do three.
If they're not,
okay, we'll give them the one
because we have it on our set list.
We've got to go down
and do that the big song.
Maybe the reps are like,
if they're really killing it.
If it stays away to it.
We'll give him a couple of calls.
That was such a special, that would have been a special atmosphere to be in.
Yeah, it is.
That look wild.
I have a friend who's not a Tennessee fan who went to the game, and he was like,
yeah, I'm a VALS fan now because I just went through all that.
Yeah.
And I was like, because he didn't have a college team.
And I was like, you know what?
I'll accept that.
That's a special stadium, man.
Can I do that too or no?
Oh, you want to be a Valls guy now?
Yeah, yeah.
You need to be there.
No, I know.
I regret not going to that.
All night, I was like, I should be there right now.
I should be there.
I looked at tickets a few weeks ago.
but they were expensive then
and then obviously after they kept winning
I was like I'm not going to spend that much money
talk about the LSU game that's your team
yeah I mean
hey
Jayon Daniels looked like a different quarterback
I did not think that we were going to go to the swamp
and play as well as we did
but here's the crazy thing
LSU going into Old Miss
at home next week with a win
could be tied for the SEC West
in the eighth week of the season
with Alabama losing
going into the Alabama and
So it's number seven, Ole Miss number seven
versus unranked LSU, and it's a pickum?
And Ole Miss isn't that good.
No.
I don't think they're that good.
Number seven?
Well, that alone.
How come the number seven teams are always overrated?
It's like every U.S.C., Kentucky,
what U.S.C.
But USA lost to, to Utah.
Yeah.
And so, that's another great game.
Congratulations, by the way.
It's a good win.
Thank you.
I mean, it's turning around.
I still think there's a lot of unrest in LSU fans.
Yeah, but it's starting,
you're starting to actually see.
growth in the middle of the season.
Exactly.
Offense looks better.
Defense looked better.
And we went to a really tough place to win a football game and won a football game.
Our game was unranked, so I'll just mention it quickly.
But Arkansas destroyed BYU.
It was never really a game.
We're down six defensive backs.
We have two wide receivers playing secondary.
So we are so depleted, and we still rolled a team that was supposed to be pretty good.
And so I was pretty happy.
That I have to come here crying.
But nobody cares.
Hey, it's a win.
It is a win.
We'll take it over a BYU team that was like ranked 11 or 12 at one point.
season. Yeah. Yeah. So, okay, uh, let's, let's go to some of the, the big games, just in general.
The Kansas City and Buffalo game, it was what we thought it was. At the end, surprising
the Mahomes through the pick, but what a game. Just what a game. First half, a little slow.
And you're like, okay, okay, defenses are, it just shows you there's also defense on those teams.
Oh, yeah. And so it was, it was a really good game. I enjoyed it. I'm glad that Buffalo won. Here's why.
they needed to win occasionally to make that a real rivalry.
Yeah.
Because those are the two quarterback.
That's, it is.
It's Peyton and Brady now.
Obviously, they don't have those credentials yet,
but those two didn't either at first.
But that's what this is.
And they're going to meet up again.
And it's going to be awesome.
It's going to be fun to watch those two guys battle for a long time.
A long time.
They're both young.
They're both extremely dynamic at doing different things.
They both can hurt you different ways.
Their offenses are lethal.
It was nice to see Juju.
He scored touchdown.
First time, you know, I've been talking all year.
He had a great game.
Yeah.
Great game.
And, too, even the coaching side of it.
Like, you know, Stefan Diggs had a few big catches,
but I thought the Chiefs did a good job of not letting him take the game over.
But then Josh Allen found other guys.
Same with Juju stepping up and having a big game.
Who would you take?
If you were – Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes.
Right now, same every part about it.
I like it.
Who would you take right now?
Eddie, you're the GM.
they're both up there.
Who do you take?
I'm going with Patrick Mahomes.
I think he's a little more careful.
I love Josh Allen,
but he's really reckless.
And I feel like when you play that hard all the time,
your time's coming at some point to get hurt.
Like reckless with his body.
Yeah, with his body.
I mean, dude,
he just sacrifices his body to get yards.
And I love it,
but at some point,
it's just your time's going to come.
I think we're talking about throwing.
I'd say Mahomes gets pretty reckless
at times when he's flipping balls.
Yeah, but body wise.
Yeah, but he always completes those.
You're right.
But body-wise, when you're reckless
and it doesn't work out.
That one hurts you for long.
Josh Allen isn't going out of bounce.
He's ducking his shoulder and trying to...
Just a big old boy.
I don't realize how big he is.
Big dude.
Big old boy.
And Kim...
I mean, he has a very mobile NFL quarterback,
but he's a large mobile NFL quarterback.
Yeah.
What are you got?
Kick off Kevin what you got?
I would go Josh Allen.
It's very close, but he's just a freak.
Like you watch that guy and you just think,
well, I guess Patrick Mahomes, too.
He's the best guy in the field.
But I think Mahomes is what makes him so great
at, you know, twirling around
and making all those crazy throws
can also be the worst part of his game
because he can throw an interception in the end zone
he can throw an interception at the end of the game
because he's almost trying to do too much
where Josh Allen can tuck it,
run your guy over, jump over your guy,
whatever it may be,
and yeah, it might lead to some injury,
but he was the best guy on the field yesterday.
What do you think, Jordan?
Yeah, Josh Allen, man.
I mean, he made some throws yesterday
that were pinpoint.
That last one right at the end of the half,
streak up to sideline.
I mean, he could not have thrown a better football.
I'm going to go Pat Mahomes, and here's why, you all make great points.
They're both, if you were told you have to take out of one of them.
There's no wrong answer, really.
Your pants are tight automatically.
You know, it's an amazing day you win.
But I'm going to go Mahomes because they both have, again, reckless quality.
We'll use the word reckless, since you did, reckless qualities about them.
But I think Mahomes is reckless quality doesn't get him on the IR for four weeks.
Yeah, I agree with that.
So, you know, now with the protocols being, I mean, they're watching everything.
And if you, listen, if I went down, I would have a talk about players.
Listen, if you go down and you get hit in the head and you think it's, just grab your ankle.
Grab your ankle.
Oh, easy.
Grab your ankle.
And start yelling, my leg, my leg.
If you can think about that, if you ain't too knocked out.
And so, and then figure out the head stuff, like if it is or not, because they'll automatically put you in and they'll automatically hold you, even if you were okay.
So, but I think.
think that both are A plus quarterbacks, no doubt about it, but I'll go home because
his recklessness may lose you a game, may throw a pick, make the game closer, but I think
if Josh Allen gets hurt, there's not another quarterback that comes in and can do that and can
win games, unless you get Cooper Rush.
Yeah.
But both are A plus.
Both are A plus.
I'll tell you what, though, with Josh Allen, they're not calling a lot of rough in the
past with him because he is tougher.
It's like Rothesberger.
They would hit him, and they wouldn't call anything because he's a big guy.
It's like, what do you expect?
You're a big dude.
you're taking it just fine.
I do love, though, when they tripped him
and they didn't call the tripping on that.
And he's just like, look, I know he tripped me
because normally you wouldn't knock me down
if that was a trip.
He was like that.
That was a blatant trip, though.
It really was.
It was pretty bad how they missed that.
Yeah, and I do think it was a miss
because he fired it out of there.
You know, and he did, it was a trip.
I'm saying it was a trip for sure.
But he did go down on him with his arm too.
Like he was able to kind of like hit him
with the side of his arm.
So it did look a little more like a sack
than just a bladent only leg trip.
Because there was a point.
Hunt return earlier this year, maybe a kickoff return with a kicker straight put his leg out.
Do you guys remember this early in the season?
He busted through and the kicker just goes, woo, and just tripped him and boom, he wiped out.
Like, that was a straight trip.
This one, although was a trip, and I think we all saw it, there at least was somebody also that
touched him at the same time.
But what a game, what a game.
And it ended with something that doesn't normally happen with Mahomes making a big bonehead pass.
So you talked to rivalry, and I agree with you, this is definitely a future rivalry.
But do you think it's been infubed?
I think that playoff game last year
That started it
Created this rivalry for years to come
Whenever you have that many scores that quick
At that level
Because that's what a rivalry is
It's big games with great players
And you need somebody else to win occasionally too
The Tennessee Alabama game
If Tennessee wins again in the next couple years
That's a real rivalry
Because they'll both be good programs
It can't be a rivalry if only one team wins
And it can't be a rivalry if it's never for a big game
or someone pulls a gun.
You know, there's only like three layers.
So I think it's already there.
But you don't have to hate the person
to be a rival of the person
because I think those two probably...
Respect each other.
A lot.
Yeah.
I think you saw it at the end of the game
where they go out and just held it
for a second and talked
and like, Patma Holmes was like,
yo dude, do you listen to Bobby Bone Show?
Anyway, yeah.
That's what I saw their lips.
Yeah, I think that's exactly what they're saying.
I definitely picked up Bobby Bones at least.
Yeah, yeah.
Thought I made out of 25 whistles, but I wasn't sure.
Yeah, that's a tough.
I'm going to say because a 20 Brad Whizzled the mouth is a weird.
Do you guys get a little, like, soft-hearted when they, at the end of the game, when they all talk to each other?
Like, I love that part of the game.
I thought, uh, Zach Wilson and Aaron Rogers had a pretty cool one yesterday, too.
Uh, Zach Wilson apparently is huge Rogers fan, and that was pretty cool to see, so.
I'm surprised Rogers will even talk to anybody.
First of all, a bad beat by the Packers.
How about, first of all, the Jets and the Giants went again?
Awesome.
What's going on in New York?
It's awesome.
Right?
They needed that.
Uh, I'm surprised Rogers just, just,
wouldn't be pissy with them.
Because it's not known as one of the most friendly guys on the field.
I don't know what it's like off the field.
It looks like a douchebag.
I think he's a different kind of dude.
You had to guess.
Yeah, but I'm telling you.
He had a guess.
He could be fun to hang out with.
Yeah, he was interesting.
He was like the guy that I said that I would love to go have it with that guy.
That Packers lost.
By the way, what do you think of the orange helmets?
Oh, it's so ugly.
See, I'm weird.
I kind of dug their uniform.
liked them too. I thought they looked cool. I liked them too because they looked so weird.
Yeah. And they looked so old school. They really do. You almost wanted to touch them. I see if they were leather.
Yeah. The helmets. It was 1930. They were so old. Yeah, but the Jets win, the Giants win, you can tell me that I'm a fool.
But the fact that Daniel Jones is one of the fastest quarterbacks in the NFL, that's crazy.
Belowes my mind. That's crazy. Because he doesn't look like he's fast at all.
Definitely does not look fast.
he just is like
it looks like Eli Manning out there
in a lot of ways
he's just kind of dopey and tall and white and goofy
and so when he's like he's one of the fastest guy in quarter
really?
Yeah
but they won again
Yeah
And he's not just playing
management
He's not doing a whole lot more than
He's not winning games by throwing 320
But he's actually playing pretty
And making good decisions
Yeah
So the Giants and the Jets both win
Great the Ravens lost again
Double digits
second half
what's happening
Kevin what's
happened with Ravens
I think
then I don't know
if it's a pressure
Lamar is feeling
but they're not running
the ball either
I'm not sure where they're
ranked exactly
but they're not running the ball
like they usually do
and then all the pressure
is on Lamar
and when he has all that pressure
he tries to do too much
almost like a Mahomes
ask and then he fumbles yesterday
he throws a pick
late in the fourth quarter
and then it just kind of
tumbles from there
that interception
talking about the one
they snapped
and it was a fumble on the ground
he picked it up
and then ran around
and threw it
yeah
yeah he's
or
Or, because I agree with what you're saying,
or he's being asked to do too much because defensively,
they're not doing a lot defensively.
So it's like it's all on you, bro.
Yeah, I feel like he's got the weight of the world on him.
That entire team is on him.
He definitely feels like he is the Baltimore Ravens.
Right.
That's a lot.
Colts went again, by the way.
We'll talk about a brief look as who cares about the Colts and the Jags.
The Colts went again, and Matt Ryan went off for over, what, like 3.30 or something like that?
Maybe even more than that.
I saw that.
Yeah.
He just passed Dam Reno for all-time passing yards.
He's number seven in Maddie Ice.
You know, and that when you say those words out loud, it does hit weird because you're like, that's Dan Reno.
But they just didn't throw the ball that much back then.
Yeah, in Miami.
And Matt's also been playing for how long.
But at all.
You're talking about the 80s and 90s.
They didn't throw the football that much.
That's true.
Yeah, yeah.
They just, that was like.
Montana threw the football a lot.
But even then if you're looking at it.
Montana, baby.
Until Montana.
What other games are?
You're right, though, Bobby.
It was a different style of football.
Offensive culture.
were completely different there.
And early on in Matt Ryan's days in Atlanta,
I mean, he had a prime
Julio Jones. I mean, they were swinging.
The Bucks lost the Steelers.
I like that. Ugly.
And I'll tell you what, I was watching the game.
Trubisky comes in.
Show them.
It was like $150 and a touchdown or something.
Right away.
Immediately.
And the Steelers win the game.
I saw a clip and I couldn't
under, maybe you guys saw it too where Brady was like
screaming his lineman.
Did you guys see a clip?
Yeah, he was losing.
Yes. And then I heard someone.
say that he said in a podcast that when he's screaming at the other players, he's not screaming
at them, he's screaming at himself.
What I saw, that's the biggest crap I've ever heard of my life.
Screaming at the lineman going in a some-ish positive way, like you're better than this.
There were some F words in there.
But it's like you're effing better than this.
And so I don't know that's a complete dressing down of the players.
He's talking to himself is what he said in that podcast.
I feel you, Tom.
Yeah.
Just a heads up, Tom, it really looks like you're screwed.
Yeah.
It does.
But yeah, he was positive.
You can hear some audio.
Yeah, and it's like, you're having better than this.
It was like a mix.
You're like, I'm scared.
Oh, he likes me.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
But yeah, the Steelers win.
That was a wild win.
Because I think the Bucks were leading the division.
Were they leading the division?
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's their only saving grace is that division is just,
I mean, as a same thing.
fan, we're lost.
But the Falcons.
They beat up on the Niners yesterday.
I mean, three and three, Marcus Marriota led Falcons.
The Falcons are like the little engine that can sometimes.
And when they do, I mean, they just, and I'll tell you what, Kyle, Pitts had, I think, a
touchdown yesterday yesterday, too.
And he has had a bad hamstring, and he's kind of fighting back through that.
But if they can get Pitts going, listen, Mariotta is not the long-term answer there.
but he's more of an answer than I think they expected.
Yeah.
And I think they may be a little irritated at him for actually winning games.
I know.
Because you don't want to lose.
But sometimes you set yourself up that if you do, you just, you know what I'm saying.
Yeah, I know what you're saying.
I don't think they start Marriota to go 500 and have the 13th pick in the draft.
Right. Exactly. Yes.
Because they probably could have started someone a lot worse to develop them, A, or B, got someone a little better and tried to win some games.
Let's get that Bryce Young.
But they, yeah, they're getting major league.
Bryce Young and Atlanta could be, that could be fun.
They go in and they pull the little tag off.
They're like, all right, we're going to get Jerry Jones naked if you guys keep winning games.
Just like major league.
You want to hear an update?
Jordan McGrath is for you.
So last episode, I think I revealed to the guys.
Now, I'd send an email to the Dallas Cowboys going, hey, can we get an interview with Jerry Jones?
And they were like, I don't think so.
And I was like, okay, cool.
And so I just said, hey, if possible, we'd love to.
This is who I am.
and his Bobby. He's kind of laid out the resume. I got an email back to said,
okay, let me write it by Jerry. Come back. They go, hey, Mr. Jones is open to the interview possibility.
How would you be recording it? Where were to go? We're like, we're freaking out. We make it Jerry Jones in the show,
right? We're freaking out. That's huge. Right. And then they go, hey,
would it be possible for you to come and do it in person? And I'm like, wow, I tell the guys.
All I know is Eddie ran to the bathroom. I don't know what he did.
A calendar was clear immediately. I don't know what he did. I don't know what he did.
Okay, guys.
And then I say, that'd be awesome.
They said, well, let's find, send a list of dates,
and let's see if we can find a home game that works for you come.
And so I went through every single cowboy game, my schedule,
and there were just some non-negotiables.
I literally only had one date to send them, which was December 11th.
I said, it's Cowboys and Texans.
I said, I'm very sorry, but this is the only date that I have.
And I didn't hear back from the like four or five days,
which is not a good sign, right?
And so I get the email back and it says,
hey, Bobby, let's go ahead and schedule December 11th for this.
Yes, and they're like, yeah.
Sit down interview with Jerry Jones.
And then they said, what would be possible for you all, me, Eddie, Mike D, and my wife to arrive Saturday nights when we get started early Sunday morning.
Awesome.
Then they say, including right into the game with Jerry and his helicopter and taping at the stadium pregame.
And then sitting in the suite.
And then sitting in the suite with Jerry during the game.
This is the email.
That's the email.
Are you kidding me?
No, yeah.
That's the update.
Isn't that crazy?
Isn't that insane?
I know.
We were like that.
Well, they haven't stopped smiling.
It's been crazy.
It's been way more smiles and frowns around here.
For sure.
I mean, it's the Christmas present for me.
Like, I already told my wife, don't get me anything for Christmas.
Like, this is it if it happens.
There's not a better place to watch a football game than where you are going to watch a football game from.
And Jerry Sweet?
You've been there?
No.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
What are you talking about?
I mean, I can imagine.
He made it happen. He called Jerry.
He's like, I vouch for these guys.
He's behind the whole thing.
I can imagine that it's going to be a pretty enjoyable experience.
Oh, my gosh.
Yeah, we're very.
excited and these two guys are about to lose it.
Jordan, what do I wear, dude?
You go covered...
Okay, you can go two...
I feel like you can go one or two ways here.
Great question. Love it. Go ahead.
You can go covered in Dallas Cowboys stuff.
That's what I'm thinking.
Or you just dress like Jerry Jones.
We all wear suits like idiots.
Well, they do say if you want someone to like you, mimic them.
Yeah.
Well, I mean, I don't know if I'm going in wanting Jerry to like me.
I don't know what Jerry's going to think.
Is Jerry even going to talk to me?
You know?
Dude, this is taking 25 whistles to a whole new level.
Oh, no.
Yeah.
We went from the basement to building some stairs in the basement,
hopefully able to walk out one day.
Pretty crazy, man.
That's the new level we are.
That's the situation.
Pretty cool, huh?
That's awesome.
You want to go?
Yeah.
You can't.
Hey, you got to buy tickets.
Hey, Jordan.
We got to block of tickets, but you got to buy them.
Dang, Eddie.
You got them.
You got them.
Remind to the 25 whistles.
me. Just FaceTime me from Jerry Sweet.
That'd be cool.
25 whistles brought to you by Draft King Sportsbook
and official sports betting partner of the NFL.
Download the draft king's app and use the code Bobby Sports
to get in on the action right now.
And my parlay, like I mentioned, Arkansas Money Line,
they did win.
I never put Arkansas on them, but I told you guys,
I felt like we were going to bully them.
Oklahoma State plus four and a half.
Once it got to overtime, I felt pretty good about that.
And then I thought, man, second half hit.
I was like, all right, we're doing, Alabama's going to do this.
And they did it.
And I let you down.
I let you down.
I'm very sorry. I'm a loser.
Hey. I hate myself.
That's Vegas, baby.
You win something, you lose. That's right.
I just, there are so many listeners that get involved in this now that have never a sports bet,
that have never even watched sports.
And I feel like I owe it to them to make them money.
It's part of the game, though.
Like, when you parent kids, you have to teach them both sides of like good, good life, bad life.
That's true.
Bet responsibly.
It's right.
You know, listeners that don't have the Draft King Sportsbook app can download it now and get in
the action with a 25 whistles parlay on Draft King Sportsbook.
If you want to take the 25 whistles parlay, which will give you another one coming up on Friday.
you can, which by the way, we're still
we're like 75%.
That's great.
Parlays.
Not even on the overalls.
Yeah, you can check out the draft king sports book.
New users use the code Bobby Sports when you download the app.
You guys are talking to me into not being sad.
You're okay, man.
I hate letting people down like that.
The bar is so high.

So I got a message.
I won't say who it is, but I got a message from a friend of mine
who is also a, also as in Jordan, not myself,
is a country music artist.
And he says, hey, what's your code for Drive Kings?
I told him.
So put in Bobby Sports.
And he goes, cool.
He goes, I made this bet.
And he sent me his bet slip.
And he goes, do I get like a free shirt or something?
And he was asking me that, like, for real.
but when he sent me his bet slip,
he bet $1,000 on a three-game parlay.
It wasn't mine, thank goodness.
And the parlay, I'm going to want to read the teams.
Eddie, I texted it to you.
Yeah, Bengals, Steelers, and Colts.
To win.
Bengals, Steelers, Colts.
He bet $1,000 won $15,000.
Oh, my God.
Money lines.
See, you bet the Steelers money lines.
Oh, my gosh.
But he bet those three put $1,000 bucks on it.
Again, and it was like $15,900 and something, right?
The $1,000.
$1,000 on a parli line.
is this guy like A-Lah?
Yeah.
He's got a cat.
He's got a guy.
He's got a guy.
He's got cash.
He's just like me like slumming around with the ceiling.
I'm like, dude, who is this guy?
But he wasn't sending it to me to go, look at this.
He's like, where's my free t-shirt?
I put it in your coat.
You just won 15 grade.
That's what I said.
I think you're good on T-shirts, buddy.
I think you're good.
You should buy us a t-shirt.
Yeah.
Yeah, hook us up with that.
But I was just, and so I sent it to Eddie.
And I was like, dude, look at that.
Look at this.
Dude, I didn't even look at what he won.
I just kept looking at the $1,000.
Like, he bet a thousand on this?
A thousand dollar stealers money line.
And the Bengals?
I mean, hey, they beat the Saints, but, like, at home against the Saints, that's a baller.
I did pick up a few smiles from that Bengals win because I bet them at the beginning,
and they went down, and I kept loading up, meaning they were getting three points,
they were getting four points.
I just always feel like Joe Burrow is going to keep you in it.
Yep.
And occasionally he doesn't.
Like we saw against Cowboys this year when they lost that one.
but right they went they lost that one no they lost that oh yeah but oh yeah I just feel like
burrow is like as they say like he's a dog straight up and he's always gonna keep you in it
and Jamar chase man that's his guy like as long as there as long as they're in the game and I bet
the over of like 75 yards on Jamar chase or whatever was 78 because he wore him he wore
he wore chase his jersey to the game the championship jersey yes so I felt like he was going to make a
point to make sure he was gonna feed him they hit and that final there was a touchdown he threw to
Chase, and he threw it to Chase pretty short. And then Chase fell off one guy,
faked out another, and then he just kind of trotted in from like 60 out. And I was like,
oh, man, that, that was awesome. Mostly because I bet it, but I saw it was awesome.
So you load up on the live bets, too.
Dude, if I'm watching, I have. It gets me in trouble sometimes. It does. Sometimes I can go,
but I can also, I can pick up a lot of smiles. I agree. And Eddie and I will text each other.
Load up. And be like, hey, this is something you may want to look at because you may want to
load up on smiles.
Like basketball last year, Gonzaga was way down in the game early.
This is in the regular season.
And it was like 11 o'clock because they play their game still late.
And I text Eddie, I was like, yo, Gonzaga's, bro, they're not going to lose this game.
Yeah.
And they were playing like San Francisco or something.
And I was like, yo, there's a free smiles here.
There's this thing that's free smiles, by the way.
No, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And I was like, there's free smiles.
But there's really safe smiles.
There's definitely safer.
For a couple weeks out of Alabama would be safe smiles, but they let me down.
single time.
Every time.
Loading up on Alabama?
Yeah, last couple weeks.
I didn't load up on this one.
I picked up a lot of safe smiles in the Giants game yesterday.
You did?
I just really, I really liked the way they were playing, and I was like, dude, they're going
to pull this game out.
Well, I tell you, Dave, I mean, that coaching culture there must actually be the difference.
It's absolutely a thing.
And we've talked about it every week and addressed it and recognized it, but it's almost
like they just throw mayhem at every team because they don't.
don't have really the weapons.
They don't really have a great receiving core.
And the receivers they have are hurt, some of them are kind of hurt.
They don't really have a great quarterback.
Sequin, I saw him grab a shoulder and come out of the game during the game.
I was like, but then he's back in.
He scores a touchdown.
And so it's like they're just throwing, but it's working to the point where you start
to go maybe this isn't just them going, let's just roll some dice and see what happens.
It's crazy.
I think the defense is keeping them in.
They had a lot of young talent on that.
on the defense. Tibodeau.
Kvon Tibito's, that guy's good.
He is good.
Did you see the crying video?
Which one?
After the game, he took the giant
social media after the game.
He's like, oh, New York, blah, blah, blah.
And he's crying after they won the game.
I was just wondering if he saw it.
It was a little much.
I don't know.
I just want to get some thoughts on it.
The internet loved it.
I'm like, dude, it's week six.
Like, all right.
He's also a rookie.
I know.
He also is tired.
That's all the games that's playing in college,
like six games.
Yeah.
And also the Giants.
Like, nobody expected them.
to be good. No. We'll talk about the Cowboys
and Eagles. Yeah. Because
it got ugly quick
and then it got a little less ugly.
And then it got ugly again.
And so first, I just like to know
your thoughts on the game.
It's like I told Jordan before we started here. I was like,
I just feel like I knew going in
that there was a really good chance that we weren't going to win that game.
So I wasn't completely devastated.
Obviously, when they go down by
14 points immediately,
I'm thinking like, oh gosh, 17 then. I'm like,
oh, this is bad. But, I mean,
I just, I feel like there's when you're, that momentum's going the way it's been going.
And then, you know, I mean, everyone's getting, you know, you've been playing hard.
You've been playing hard.
Everyone's relying on that defense.
That defense finally showed a little bit of humanness in them.
And then that put a lot of pressure on Cooper Rush.
I feel like Cooper was trying to do a lot.
When you go down 17-0, it's catch up immediately.
For any quarterback.
For any quarterback.
So obviously that first half was, that's what we were feeling then.
And then typical cowboy fan.
fashion, we feel like third quarter, oh my gosh.
And I fell for it. I bit the bait. And I'm like, this is it.
This is it. Everyone got the kids out of bed. Let's go. We're going to watch the end of this game.
And then it got real again. So, I mean, I didn't expect to win this one.
I love where the Cowboys are at. Obviously, I just feel like when Dak comes back,
it's going to be a better team. I don't know how much better, but it's going to be a better team.
So I'm looking forward to that.
Perfect bridge for Dak to come back.
That game was, not just because they lost. I'll say this first.
the Eagles, when they go straight
RPO, when it's like run-pass option
How do you cover that?
And it's like, because they're a running team.
They're a running team.
Okay.
Running back.
Boom.
Five, six yards.
Okay, they're shutting that down.
Okay, running back, boom.
Let me pull it back.
Do I want to run?
Okay, it looks like it's open.
13 yards.
Okay, well, let's shut that down.
Nope, no running back.
Nope, I'm not going to run.
Everybody's open.
How do you stop all three
because they do it.
efficiently and I'm watching the Eagles last night and I got Jalen Hurts and my fantasy
quarterback I think I said before this season even started like don't sleep on Jalen
Hertz is a fantasy quarterback and you guys said oh you're going to secretly draft him and then I
did draft him not secretly I drafted him out and right you did you did they're so good at that
that and I think much like a new hitter like somebody that comes up and then have a lot of tape on
him he's a lot of home runs at first because we don't really know what told him yet
there are going to be teams that figure this out and it's going to be can the Eagles adjust
to having that figured out
and putting one more wrinkle.
It's so hard to stop right now.
Dude, how do you stop that fourth in one situation?
That's crazy.
You can't.
They tried everything.
They had a guy on the ground.
They were diving over.
They were doing it all.
You can't stop it.
All I think about is that video
of Jalen Hart's squatting 600 pounds
when they do that.
Yeah.
And now it's legal to also push your quarterback.
Yeah, they can give them like to...
It's unfair, man.
It was going to happen anyway.
Then it became a judgment.
Yeah.
So I get it.
But that fourth and half a yard
is almost impossible.
It's automatic.
It's almost impossible.
I did see a play in, I believe, in college
where they were doing a quarterback sneak
and the quarterback's up,
but they snap it through his legs
to the running back.
I saw that too.
And so the whole line goes down
and then the running back
throws it over to the tight end
is wide open.
It's amazing.
It's awesome.
It's risky, but it was awesome.
So I think it's the perfect setup
for Dyke to come back
because they won three games.
Cooper rushed through two picks
in a rivalry game, prime time,
so the fans aren't going to be like,
we've got to have Cooper back.
Now, Dad can come back
without all this weird anxiety riddled pressure.
And we're playing the lions,
then the Bears,
so hopefully we got some easier games ahead.
But if you say that Cooper Rush throws two or three picks
or however many,
and they get down at 1.17 nothing,
and they still only lose that game by 9,
it's not bad.
Yeah.
And his last pick, Lamb was wide open down the sideline.
He just got hit when he threw it.
Yeah, he just do it short.
There was a fourth down call I thought was pretty questionable when the Cowboys, when Rush rolled out.
Yeah, early.
Yeah.
And I was like, okay.
I like Cooper Rush, too.
As I was thinking, hey, I like Cooper Rush too, but it was like fourth than one.
On their side of the field.
Yeah, that's exactly what?
It was like a 38-minute midfield.
Yeah.
Like five minutes into the game.
We're like, what?
The analytics must have said something.
I like raise my right hand to TV.
Look, I like Cooper Rush too, Coach.
But at the end of the game, Siriani, yelled,
That's game FU across
sideline.
Dang.
A lot of attention
on the Eagles.
I think there was a fight.
At the very last play
there was a fight.
So for some reason,
I thought he was going to join the fight too.
He looks like the kind of guy
that would join that fight.
Yeah.
And that's got to be fun to play
for a guy like that.
Love it.
Until it's not.
Oh, until he beats you up.
Well, it's always fun.
It depends if you're a player's coach
or not a player's coach.
It's always the great person to play for
until it's not working anymore.
And then they go, well, this is why.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I mean, it's like, I'll give an example of Venables at Oklahoma, very stoic, doesn't give a lot of press conferences, very defensive-minded.
And they're like, this is going to be great.
We don't need coach.
It's all raw-rah.
And they start losing.
They're like, man, if we try to coach is more raw-rah.
It's like, you just find the opposite of what is happening to blame it on them.
But in my house, it's pretty good this weekend because Oklahoma beat Kansas, handily.
And I texted my wife's dad, and I was like, hey, it's like seven-on-seven out here with this game.
And then I asked on BYU's on BYU, same thing.
And he texts on BYU, this game.
A lot of that.
the Tennessee Alabama game.
A lot of points.
It's always cool.
You guys can tell me
if I'm wrong on this.
I like to see goalposts get torn down.
But why throw them in the river?
I feel like that kind of just started
and there wasn't nobody knew what to do.
So it's kind of like,
all right, Ben, we don't have a plan.
What can we do with this?
It's like, do we take it to a bar?
And I just feel like it was one guy
that was like,
oh, let's go throw it in the river.
Everybody's like, yeah.
It's a great idea.
Yeah, somebody had to take control, and I guess the wrong person.
Not that leadership.
The leadership keys.
That's so funny.
So that game with the goalposts, that's pretty cool.
I think you could have put it outside of a bar, though, and everybody goes to the bar and signs that are.
Or like, cut it.
Like, get a, like, you know, go.
Oh, can you imagine a drunk Tennessee fan with a saw?
Yeah.
Then they were asking for money to replace it.
Did you guys see that?
They were like, hey, we're raising money so we can replace our goalpost.
The football program.
You have money to replace it.
Yeah.
You don't need a go fund me or do they?
Okay, we got Jerry O'Connell coming up now.
Jerry O'Connell from many things.
Now he's the host of the talk, and I do bring that up,
how it brought me in in case he didn't sign his contract.
And I hosted about a week of the talk on CBS.
And they're like, if Jerry O'Connell doesn't take this job,
looking at you, and I was like, I'm just in L.A. filling in.
I don't think I could even really do it.
But so Jerry O'Connell from the talk, he's married to Rebecca Romain Stamos.
I guess she's not for Stamos anymore.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
O'Connell.
Great name.
Yes.
Also.
Stand by me.
Stand by me.
The Love Boats, the new show we're talking about here.
Do you know Jerry O'Connell?
Yeah, yeah.
Tomcats.
Remember that?
Uh-uh.
The movie, Tomcats?
No, man.
Oh, you guys got to watch it.
My Secret Identity, which I bring up, which nobody knew but me and him.
That's right.
So, enjoy this interview with Jerry O'Connell.
We will come right back.
Hey, Jerry, big fan, man.
Thanks for hanging out.
Bobby, saving for the show.
I can't wait for this.
Well, no, this is it.
This is the show.
I don't have like a cool radio voice or anything.
You know, so.
No, getting to your radio voice.
Everybody will hit a little Joe, Jerry O'Coddle.
He's got a loose show coming up called The Real Love Boat, and I can't wait to talk to him about that and some fantasy football.
All right.
Jerry, you're on.
How you doing, buddy?
Bobby, I am so excited to be here.
As they say in radio, first time, long time.
I'm going to tell you what a fan I am of yours, Bobby.
Are you ready for this?
I don't think you're telling the truth.
There's no way even know who I am.
Okay.
Okay.
Bobby. Watch this. I, um, I recently, I'm a 48 year old man and I recently have been unable to
see anything from a close distance. My, I'm, what do you call that? I'm near, I'm far-sighted.
I just, I'm blind like reading. So I went to an optometrist. I have a VSP plan. So I got a
little bit of a discount and look at what I got, the Bobby Bones special.
Yes, that does look like me. Nothing like being compared to...
I look exactly like you right now. Much better looking. Well, here is how big...
Just to explain to the people listening, I have a pair of, I mean, these are your Bobby Bones frames, I believe.
Yes, and I have licensed them, and so I'll be collecting that fee for the licensing of those glasses.
Well, listen. I can't wait to talk to you because I'm now a reality show host.
and I found it to be really difficult.
I really did.
Yeah, it's a lot, and it's a lot of hurting cats at times, right?
Especially people that have never taken direction for that.
I mean, is that what happened here with the show?
You know, no, I actually found the hardest thing was to not be indifferent,
was to not be like Switzerland.
You know, so the show I host is called The Real Love Boat,
and it's an adventure relationship series.
It's on in between Survivor and Amazing Race.
and, you know, singles who've had terrible luck and love come on the real love boat,
hopefully find some love, and then as couples, they compete against each other.
And we send a couple people home that I truly believed we're going to win the show.
And I, when we were in the moment in what we call like our elimination,
our sailaway ceremony, it's sort of our elimination.
I actually said, I can't believe you're coming home right now.
And then they completely stopped filming.
and then standards and practices and lawyers surrounded me and said,
I am not allowed to show favoritism because money is at stake.
Yeah, that's funny.
I found it very difficult to not be a viewer.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, it's funny that you bring that up.
So two different examples of that when I was doing American Idol,
because I was on that show for four seasons,
I would either show a contestant that I really liked,
like on my Instagram story.
And same thing, standard practice is like, you can't do that.
You can't give anybody else anything that the rest has because this is for money.
Or I would get, like, bummed when somebody get kicked off the show because I'd worked with
them and I thought they should win.
They're like, bro, you can't do that.
Absolutely.
You know, what's funny is I actually, you know, and I'm not the most social media savvy,
but, you know, a lot of our contestants, I wanted a lot of our singles.
I wanted to follow them on Instagram.
And it's sort of a way to get to know each other.
It's like, oh, hey, nice to meet you.
Hey, who are you on Instagram?
And then you see sort of their past.
And I couldn't even do that, you know,
because now hosts are getting in trouble for following contestants on social media.
So it's like I really had to be, it's so funny.
My, our boss on the real love boat who's great and really makes some,
some compelling television, said, you have to, kept saying you have to be like Switzerland.
You have to be like Switzerland.
And it was tough.
It was tough because.
You know, we have an episode tonight where we really get into sort of the adventure aspect of the real love boat.
So the couples have now formed and they climb the rock of Gibraltar.
And the couple that is the most honest with each other about past relationships will win the challenge.
And some of these couples are just downright dishonest with each other.
And it was really, it's cringed TV, man.
It's crazy.
And it was crazy too.
because watching them, I'm not that honest with my wife of 15 years.
Did you ever feel, I just, I finished a show on USA called Snake in the Grass and we,
and I didn't know who the person was.
I purposefully was like, I can't know because I don't want to react.
Same problem that I had on Idol.
I wanted to eliminate that.
So I never knew.
And I was like a viewer as I was watching the show.
I was hosting the show.
But there were contestants I just didn't like.
And I'm not going to say them now, but there were like humans that I would see and be like,
I just don't like them at all.
But that's a different emotion to have to conceal as well.
Because some people we just don't get along with or we don't like their personalities.
Did that happen at all?
Were you like, man, I don't like this dude at all?
You know what was so funny about hosting the real love boat.
So it's about couples and relationships and all that stuff.
So they got my wife and I to host it because I guess Nick Lechay and Vanessa Lechay were already working on Love is Blind.
So we were the next stop.
but my wife really liked one couple and I was really into another one and it almost became now obviously we showed no favorites on the show because money was at stake and all that stuff but there was one dude in particular that I really wanted to see make it and my wife could not stand this that's crazy because literally we'd go back we were on this the real love boat is an actual cruise and we go back to our cabin and we go back to our cabin and
And my wife would be like, I hate that person.
I can't believe that they made it through.
And I'd be like, you're totally wrong about them.
And we became really emotionally invested.
And I will say there are like, I was a little shocked hosting show, Bobby, because you become emotionally invested.
And I guess it's a lot like watching these shows, you know.
You become really invested.
And I think because relationships are involved, and this is about, you know, a bunch of people, a bunch of kids who really have had terrible luck and love and are hoping to reignite that spark, it's a lot of stake.
The Real Love Boat airs on Wednesdays at 8 Central, 9 Eastern. Just do the math on where it airs.
I'd like to tell you my Jerry O'Connell story, Jerry O'Connell, if you're okay with that.
Yeah, Bobby, come on. I'm going to put my Bobby.
Bobby Bones glasses on for this.
Look good.
This is my Jerry O'Connell story.
I was in middle of COVID, and I get a call from CBS, and they say, I was probably still shooting American Idol because I was in California.
And they say, hey, we need somebody to come over and fill in on the talk.
We have, we have a, I didn't know what was going on.
I'd never hosted that show.
I'd only been a guest on it a couple times promoting a book or something.
And so they said, hey, come, come over to the talk and host it for a couple days.
And I said that sounds like fun.
I'm here anyway.
So they were lovely to me there.
And I go and I host day one.
And that was that cool.
And we did two shows in a day.
I think it was like a Thursday.
And so like, okay, cool.
And so I go and that was it.
There's lovely people I leave.
They call me back.
They go, hey, look, you know, we're thinking about putting a guy on this show full time.
And I say, oh, that's interesting.
You know, I don't live in L.A., but I'd definitely be open to hearing.
I'll listen to anything.
and they say, wow, we think you're great.
And if Jerry O'Connell doesn't take it, we're going to consider you.
And I was like, wait, what?
So you're telling.
So you already have them.
But I thought that was cool.
They were honest.
They were like, if it's Jerry O'Connell's job, if he wants it.
But if he doesn't want it, we really like you.
Well, it turns out you wanted it.
And I haven't worked since.
So thanks.
That's so interesting because I have a Bobby Bone story.
And that is, I was in the running to getting ready.
to host the talk and they offered me, I mean, look, I'm happy with my salary, but they offered me a low salary and I went, no, I want more money.
And they went, look, you don't take this.
Like, Bobby Bones is right here and he actually is worth the money that you're asking.
So we're willing to take the low money.
We're getting a deal with you.
We're getting you at a bargain.
So take it or leave it.
And Bobby, I took it.
Yeah, good for you. I saw.
I saw you.
You were, so the moral of the story is you're too expensive.
I don't think that's the reason, but I will accept that and I will share that.
All right, we're going to pause this interview real quick with Jerry O'Connell and talk about Draft King.

All right, back to Jerry O'Connell.
Hey, you know what I was a big fan of?
I don't know if people bring this up to you,
but you'll never guess my secret identity.
How do you know?
You're too young for that.
No, no.
I know, I used to watch it, and you had the cans, and you'd spray it, and you'd float.
I used to watch every episode of that show.
And you must have been...
I played a superhero in like an after school.
It was like an out of this world.
Remember, out of this world?
Yeah.
Yeah, she'd pause time.
Yeah, she'd pause time.
Yeah.
I can't believe you remember that show.
Does anyone ever bring that up?
Is that a thing where they're like, hey, you're the guy from my secret identity?
I'm not joking.
You and my mom who has all those episodes on...
BHS are the only two who bring that show up.
Loved it. I've seen every episode.
So, yeah, I have no question.
Just have seen every episode.
Hey, I'm going to ask you about the Chargers for a second, though, because are you a Chargers
fan or are you a fan that has the Chargers close by?
I am a Southern California transplant.
I am from New York City.
I moved to Southern California over 20 years ago.
And I'm actually a new year.
Jets fan in my heart.
That's good, though. But it's impossible to root for a team that just loses so massively
every season. So I'm in Southern California, I'm a, I'm a Chargers fan. And they are kind of a fun
team to root for. I'm going to guess you are a Titans fan. You know, I grew up in Arkansas
and we didn't have a, I'm a big, I'm a big NFL fan in general. Yeah, I was going to ask you
about the charges, but I'm going to ask you about the Jets. They're three and two, right? I mean,
they're actually winning games. Like, are you pumped about the Jets? Are you watching them thinking
this will continue? Or are you like, well, we beat the Browns? What's a Jets fan doing right now?
You know, I'm going to tell you what a jet fan is doing right now. I know we shouldn't talk about
gambling on the air, but I was in Las Vegas and I made a bet that the Jets would win six games this season.
okay and by the way the odds were pretty pretty long my friend who i told i made that bet to
said hey it's looking like you're going to win that bet and i thought to myself now i'm never
going to win that bet and they're never going to get the six wins so i uh i won't believe it
until i see it um i i play a lot of fantasy football um uh derrick henry has been very helpful to me
and I sort of, I'm losing in fantasy football too.
I shouldn't be talking about football.
I'm losing in everything.
You should be talking about football.
And the sports show I do is actually sponsored by Draft Kings.
So all the gambling all the time.
What a sight.
What a sight.
Let me tell you the best thing about that site,
the best thing about that site,
the best thing about fantasy football is not just winning,
but it's beating your close friends.
You can individually, this is on top of any league you're in,
say to a friend,
I'm challenging you to an individual game, a morning of games, a day of games, a weekend of games.
I challenge you in a DFS league.
I can beat you one-on-one, and it's so much fun.
I know this isn't a – I don't want to talk about gambling, but it's so fun.
Hey, Bobby, I'm such a fan that I got to finally get on your show and talk to you.
I really – I think we should host one of these things together, and I'm going to wear my BB specials.
Look at my glasses that I got on.
You look great.
Are you, is you running away?
Are you running away, Jerry?
No, I'm not going anywhere.
I've got nothing to do.
No, okay.
I've had so many people just be like, all right, well, that's a good talk.
And then leave.
I kind of felt like that was the pivot out of there.
I had some more great questions I'd prepared it for it.
I'm going to stay here.
You know what?
I'm going to stay here for a couple hours now.
I'm settling in.
I'm co-hosting the show with you.
Michael Rappaport would email me and was talking to me,
and he was like weirdly challenging me to one-on-one fantasy football
because he had just got so irritated with me talking about fantasy football to him.
He's like, I'm better than you.
And very intense.
I think Michael Rapport's super funny,
but I didn't take him up on his one-on-one because he was just really,
like, he just really wanted to beat me.
I don't know why.
I don't know why it was like, have you played with Michael Rappaport?
He's one of those people.
You know, I've never played with him.
do know him personally, mostly from like Bravo stuff.
I always see him at like Bravo shows.
And, you know, I listen to him on another radio show, popular radio show that he calls in too often.
And he plays fantasy football.
Oh, Stern.
I told him the same thing.
I was like, why are you always mad he lose on Stern show?
He's like, mother.
Hey, mad.
I win.
He just went off.
And he gets a little too competitive.
I try to, you know what's so funny?
I'm in one fantasy league where it really bothers me that I keep losing in that fantasy league,
mostly because the people I play against know nothing about football,
and I keep losing in that league.
And it does upset me.
Not to the point Michael Rappaport gets really upset.
I'm not that dedicated.
I don't care that much.
Well, listen, I appreciate your time.
Are you doing the talk today?
I'm doing the talk today, man. Everybody misses you around here.
I heard somebody, one of my co-hosts say, man, I wish this was Bobby Bones.
I wish we could afford him.
Yeah, it's sad for me to, it's like talking to what could have been right now.
I'm just looking how you're going. That could have been me.
I think you're going to be okay. I'm going to go out of O.M. and say, I think you're going to be okay.
Yeah, it's sad. It's a sad day. But everybody, on Wednesday nights, the real love boat with Jerry O'Connell and his wife, Rebecca, and I appreciate the time.
I'm literally a big fan.
So glad I finally got to talk to you.
Let's do this in person.
Come on.
Let's break some bread somewhere.
You know, here's the thing, Jerry.
I don't think you mean it.
Oh, I mean it.
Yeah.
But if it does happen, that would be real cool because I'm a big fan.
And, you know, I'm not all hot.
Every time I go to L.A., but I's like, hey, we should hang out.
We should do lunch.
We should get together.
And then I call them and they don't remember me anymore.
So I'm just going to, I'm going to remember this moment and cherish it.
Because if I call you and then you're like, I don't remember who you are,
then I'm going to just, you don't have to tally it up as another one of those Hollywood folks, you know.
And I like you, Jerry.
And I like my secret identity.
And I like to hear you.
I like to hear you on part of my take.
Because I'm big, big, big.
And so, you know, I like to, I want to keep that memory special.
All right.
All right, buddy.
Well, the next time we do something professionally, I can't, I'm looking forward to it.
Can't wait for the selfie that you and I are going to be posting.
All right, Jerry, good to talk to you, buddy.
Hand in hand on the real love boat.
You and I.
All right, Jerry.
Hey, good to talk to you.
Have a great day, man.
All right, that'll do it this week.
Big thanks to Jordan Davis and his LSU.
G-E-A-U-U-G-A-U-X.
Go.
E-E-A-U-X, baby.
Go.
Big one, man.
Let's go.
That's a big one this week.
Big one.
Big one coming up.
What do you want to say about that?
We won't see a Friday.
So what are you going to say about that one?
I'm going to say 31-27 LSU victory in Death Valley.
And that's a big one.
And that's a big, big, big win for you guys if you win now.
Huge.
You've already had a better season than most people already thought.
Yeah.
That's a big win last week.
This would get us bowl.
I was going to go to a bowl this year.
But, I mean, just to have a share of the SEC.
You mumbled something there.
Go ahead and say that again.
You mumbled something.
We can't go to a bowl.
I know.
I know.
We did something bad.
Yeah.
So, that's our.
He just blows over it real quick.
We're going to be bowl.
eligible.
Yeah.
But yeah, it'd be a huge win.
I mean, six and two.
It would be a huge win for a program that they said bottom of the SEC West.
And for a program where everybody was hating on the coach,
fake accent and all, he's still a great coach.
He's still a great coach.
Has never not been really good to great everywhere.
Yeah.
He wins games.
Yeah, things are looking up until they cheat again.
That's right.
Kickoff, Kevin, anything you want to say as we wrap up this Monday episode?
Yeah, final thoughts.
here, just college football. I'm thankful for it. I love college football. Saturday
proved it that Tennessee, Alabama game. There's multiple games. Utah, USC, it's the best.
There's a reason it's the best. USC got that respect until they didn't anymore.
Eddie? Yeah, I think Sunday night football, NBC owes Cooper Rush an apology.
Before the game, multiple times, they made it the fight between Jalen Hertz and Michael Parsons.
It's rare. Showing their images. Showing their image. I mean, it was just them too.
It was Jalen versus Micah.
I get it.
Micah Parsons definitely
and probably the best player in the Cowboys.
But this is a quarterback match up.
And to not give Cooper the respect,
I think the NBCO's an apology a little bit.
I don't think you're going to get that.
I got to blow the whistle on that.
Wow.
All right.
And I was a big Cooper Rush guy.
All right.
But it's show the most dynamic players on each team.
Come on guys.
And it wasn't Cooper Rush.
I mean, you could have shown Zeke or Pollard before.
Let's list out who they were.
have put on there before. Sure. There were probably five dudes
before. So, okay.
Number one, obviously. Micah.
Micah Pars. Okay. Number two, probably because of who he
is. Also, Zeke ran the ball pretty well last year.
Yeah, he did. Yeah, I think he had like, what, 70 yards
or something in a touchdown? Zika Elliott.
Number two? And split time with Pollard.
Yeah, Zeeke probably at two.
C.D. Lamb?
C.D. at three, for sure. Pollard at four.
Maybe even Jason Peters at five. He came back.
I mean, anybody but Cooper.
That punter's really good.
anger?
Maybe just a screen that's in Dallas, even though they weren't playing in Dallas.
Maybe you put that up there versus...
Okay.
Number five is Jerry.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Troy Aitman.
Yeah, bring them all back.
I guess my final thought is going to be that I often said no game is better than a bad game.
You know, Thursday I watched the Bears and the commanders.
Bad game.
Oh, my gosh.
I don't think I stand by that anymore.
I watched the game and almost fell asleep twice.
I'm glad it was on because it gave me...
What?
Something else to do.
It was on.
I like it.
Football, right?
Yeah.
Guys with helmets, shoulder pads.
Half foot.
Football, yeah.
Football.
But that's a bad game.
And that's two in a row.
And I will even say that this game, I'm not going to say...
The other game, the week before that, which was the Colts and the...
Broncos.
Oh, yeah.
That game was like an...
There were so many, it was just follies.
It was like bad, stupid, stupid plays.
This, Commanders and Bears were just boring.
I like the game where they were just throwing picks and fumbles and...
Better than this Commander's Bears game.
So, but the next Thursday night game, I don't think, is a whole lot better.
And those Cardinals, I want to say?
Yeah, I saw it this morning.
I can look at it now.
Saints Cardinals.
Caller will be fun to watch.
If James is in, he'll have a few interceptions that'll be fun.
You know, I always think they're showing his highlights.
Who do you think the favorite?
I have the early lines.
Where is it at?
It's in Arizona.
It's got to be the favorite.
Arizona, two and a half.
That's exactly what it is.
Arizona, two and a half.
Okay, let me ask another one.
Eddie, don't say anything.
You know this one already.
Come on.
The Giants are in Jacksonville.
What do you think that spread is?
Five.
Bye.
Giants.
I don't know.
Yeah, giants, maybe three.
See, that's what I said.
Jaguars minus two and a half.
No way.
Jump on it, boys.
No low.
Those are in trouble, though.
Those jump on is get you in trouble.
Those are good smiles.
That's what I think.
I hear you.
There's some value in those smiles.
I agree.
Let me see if there's any other that just scream at me.
The Colts are in Tennessee.
Jordan, what do you think about that one?
Oh, I'm going to go coming off of a by week, Titans, six and a half?
Ooh, that's a big one.
They own the Colts.
I'll go four and a half.
Titans by two.
Cowboys and Lions in Dallas.
Eddie?
Cowboys minus three and a half.
this one's going to move a lot of deck
he's playing he is playing
oh he's got to play
I'll go with the four and a half again
Cowboys
I'll go five and a half Cowboys
Cowboys minus seven
Whoa
okay I'm gonna give you like
give you like two more
The Jets are in Denver
Oh man
That's gotta be tight
I want to think what happens
Is Russ gonna cook
You know?
What does he always say
What does he always say?
Broncos
My Denver radio station
made me say it today. What do they say?
Not cowboy, yeah. But, uh, Bronco, let's ride. Let's ride. Let's ride. I was having to do it in
liners today for my station. I was like, oh, I told Kevin. Because Kevin make sure I don't say
wrong things. And I was like, oh, I don't like that. That's right. I was looking at that last night.
He's like, oh, he's going to love this. Wait, they probably have the, I mean, Jets are probably
Jets? One and a half. Jets at Denver.
No, Jets one and a half? No, Denver's got to be up on this.
Broncos three and a half. That's exactly it. I give you one more here. One more.
that seems interesting.
Final one.
Okay, Chiefs at 49ers.
That's a good one.
Is it?
I'm going to go Chiefs.
Chiefs five and a half.
Chiefs four.
Chiefs two.
Chiefs two and a half.
Good job.
Jordan, what's going on with you this week?
I'm actually heading down for a charity event in Jackson, Mississippi.
Today?
We're leaving tonight.
Yeah.
And then I'm going to Louisville for some shows with Luke Combs.
This weekend?
This weekend.
Yeah.
Follow Jordan.
It's like Jordan Davis plays music or something.
What is it?
Jordan Davis is a fish.
Oh, yeah.
You know, something like that.
He plays music.
Jordan Davis has a guitar or something.
But, you know, I moved to Nashville to chase a passion to find that my passion is only 25 whistles.
Yay.
Look at that.
That's just for me to get back on here again.
It's like you're so natural.
Honestly, I'll give you a compliment.
Thanks, man.
We at least sit and talk.
do shows all the time. So this is a new muscle that we've had to flex a little bit,
but you don't even do this and you come in and you're just like part of the group.
I don't even think you're being a guest in the most complimentary way.
I do see y'all's buddies. It's not like, you know.
Yeah, but even talking. Like usually, we have friends that come in and I'm like,
okay, well, let's make sure they're set up in a way to not look foolish.
We kind of root for you to look foolish because you're good at it.
We're like, all right, let's wait for them to slip up. We can make fun of them.
Oh, it'll happen.
Yeah, yeah. Let's wait. Let's wait.
All right. Well, that is it. You guys go follow Jordan Davis official, a supporter of God, Jordan.
and other than that, we will see you at the end of next week.
Unless we do like a halftime episode of the 25 whistles.
It's possible.
It's possible.
I'm always ready for it.
We never know.
All right, let's end the show.
Jordan, go ahead and blow us.
All right.
Please follow that 25 whistles.
We will see you guys next week.
Bye, everybody.
