Starting point is 00:03:18 These spots are going fast. Book now, top shelfcountrycruise.com or 888-381-44. 20. Welcome to Monday's show. Morning studio. Morning. Here's the question I have for the guys in the room. I have clothes, sweatshirts, T-shirts. We'll take them. No, not that. Oh, okay. That are really old. And I like to wear them. Like, I have an old cutoff shirt that says just says sup on it. I think I've had it for 20 years.
Starting point is 00:03:57 I have underwear that probably are 15 years old. And my wife is like, hey, why don't we get rid of some of that stuff? But I really like it. And she doesn't make me. But she was like, what's this shirt that says sup on it? They're like, it's comfortable. It's old. It feels good on my body.
Starting point is 00:04:16 Do you guys have this with your wives where they're like, hey, maybe we should throw some of this out? Yes. Yes. And I recently had one go missing all of a sudden. Oh, classic. You know, so, so, yes. And she's mentioned about four or five of them I've had since high school. There's one that I love, but it does have holes all over it.
Starting point is 00:04:33 I'm not even going to say she's wrong about her opinion. But what do they care? You know what I mean? Because it takes up space and it's annoying. But that's our side of the room. Okay. Ramundo? Yeah, my wife will go one step further.
Starting point is 00:04:45 She'll go to Nordstrom's, get me a new, brand new cutoff shirt and say, okay, so your other old ones you can throw away. I got you two new cut off shirts. So she makes you throw two out to get two new ones? True. And they're nice. And she's right. They're better quality.
Starting point is 00:04:58 So, yes, we'll get rid of the others. That's a good one. But also, they can go have your stuff made into a blanket. No one wants a blanket. I did that with my husband's. husband's high school shirts. And I'm telling you, he was like, what just happened? I'm just going to act like it's okay. I don't want a blanket. Yeah. And honestly, she's right. I should throw a bunch of this crap out, but I never thought about it. Why? If I could, you don't have to succumb to.
Starting point is 00:05:19 She may not be right. These are your shirts. I have the right to keep them. I counted the holes in Oh, no. It has six holes in one of these pair of underwear. That's different. Let it go. Get rid of those. It's hard for me to let it go. It's hard for me to go full frozen. You know what I mean? Let it go. Let it go. well we are here that's the situation at home I'd mention my last week maybe two weeks ago my dog was getting really fat
Starting point is 00:05:43 my bulldog we've trimmed him back on food a little bit now instead of two big cups he gets a cup and a half and you know what he's doing pretty good good yeah he's living his life pretty good I think he dropped a couple LBs we take him to the vet and the vet's like pretty fat even for a bulldog
Starting point is 00:05:58 and so we have to make sure that if he's fat it's normal for a bulldog does that make sense yeah not fat even for a bulldog. Right. And I don't want to fat shame him. He may be listening to the show right now. Right. Sorry, buddy. Sorry, buddy.
Starting point is 00:06:14 It's time to open up the mailbag. You send an email and we read it on the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah. Hello, Bobby Bones. My name is Evan. I need your help. I am 15 years old. I want to ask this girl out. We go to the same church. Our dads are friends. But we've only talked once or twice. I've always found her attractive, but I can never find a good enough reason to ask her out until now.
Starting point is 00:06:40 There is a homecoming dance at my school next week, and I need a date. I figured this was the perfect opportunity to ask her out, but I've never done this before. What do I do? Thanks, Evan. Aw. Here's the thing, Evan. Love it. I scared my whole life, too. So I'll talk to you as someone who was always scared to talk to girls forever.
Starting point is 00:07:01 Heck, sometimes I go home. I'm still nervous. Talk to Caitlin. I could give you the answer that everybody wants me to give you, which is, hey, man, just swallow, walk up there and be like, hey, girl, I'm taking you out. Let's go. But you're probably not going to do that because you sound like me, someone who's nervous, someone who thinks they're going to get rejected, someone who hasn't done this a lot. So what I'm going to do is give you the practical advice on how to ask crowds. And it involves not in person. It involves text message. Oh, wow. Because rejection doesn't hurt that bad if it's by text message.
Starting point is 00:07:36 And then you can avoid her for a while. This is the weenie way out, but I feel like one weenie talking to another, this is what? Well, she might appreciate, too, the text message because she might be shy or depending on her personality. Whether she's going to say yes or no, it might be easier for her to do it over text, too. What I would encourage you to do, though, on text is to at, because I was an idiot and I would ask, and I wouldn't be clear about asking. I'd be like, hey, so there's a dance coming up. Be pretty cool if we went, huh? And then she'd be like, yeah, but I wouldn't know if she went, like, if she went and I went, and we went separately, we went.
Starting point is 00:08:11 So you have to go, first of all, you get her number. I'm sure you can, I'm sure you can get it, right? You may already have it. And you say, hey, this is Evan. We go to church together. We have a Halloween dance coming up. Would you like to go with me? Question mark?
Starting point is 00:08:26 Would love to go. And then let her answer the question. She may say no, and that's okay. At least you'll be able to live it to yourself. I regret so many times. not having the courage to be told no when I was young. Well, we didn't, when we were 15, text message wasn't an option.
Starting point is 00:08:41 I did smoke signals. And then I guess we have to assume they have phones. Yeah, 15, I'm assuming there's a phone somewhere involved. 15, yeah. Most kids have a phone. So that's what I'm going to say to you. Listen, other people may say, hey man, suck it up. Nud up and get up there and go up to her and be like, hey, girl.
Starting point is 00:09:01 That's not how I react. It's not real world. It sounds like that's not how you work either. you're going to be uncomfortable. You're going to be like, I don't want that to happen. With text message, it's easy to say exactly what you want to say. Edit it. Don't send a page.
Starting point is 00:09:16 Say, hey. Short and sweet. We have a Halloween dance. I would love for you to go. Don't say, hey, like, I don't have a date. Don't do that either, where it's like, I'm only asking you because I don't have a date. Say, hey, we have a Halloween dance coming up. Would you like to go with me?
Starting point is 00:09:29 I think it would be a lot of fun. Boom. If she says no, fine. If she says yes, great. Sounds good. The end. That's my advice for you, buddy. 15 stinks.
Starting point is 00:09:40 It's a tough age. It is. So hard. It may be the hardest age. Just trying to figure everything out, man. Yeah, 15. It's like you're kind of getting old enough to make adult decisions, but you're not quite there.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Yeah, you're definitely not there. And you're not a kid anymore. You're not quite at 11 or 12 anymore. You so don't know what to do that. You have to email Bobby Bones to ask him. Hey, I'm here for you, though, bud. That's great, though. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:03 Like, I love that. I'm you, just older. Yeah. All right, Evan, good luck. Let us know how it goes. Thank you very much. We've got your email and we've read it on the air. Now it's time to close Bobby's mail pack.
Starting point is 00:10:16 Yeah. Or you could play her this segment. Hey, I wish I knew her name. Evan's the coolest guy I've ever known. The coolest. Evan is A plus. Evans, that guy. Like, did I see and go, that guy's going to be a billionaire?
Starting point is 00:10:29 I mean, there are a couple I've known. I saw a young Elon. I was like, there's something there. The same thing with Evan. And he can dance. Man, that kid, that kid, he can go to town. There's not a TikTok dance he can't do. On TikTok?
Starting point is 00:10:42 I don't know. Just play that format. All right, Morgan, if they want to email the mailbag, what do they do? Mailbag at bobbybones.com. When Instagram went down last week, maybe two weeks ago, it was down for like seven hours. Were you guys like, is it just my Instagram or is everybody down? Oh, yeah. I mean, I was asking people.
Starting point is 00:11:00 I was like, wait, is this happening? I didn't know it was the whole world. And you kept swiping it. Yeah. All it said was something wrong. Can't refresh feed. Well, Instagram is now testing a new alert that will now tell users when the app is down. Oh.
Starting point is 00:11:12 That way we can just be like, okay, it's not just me. Nice, yeah. Because I did, and then it was stuck on top of, I don't remember somebody. I think Chris Jansen's picture, I had to watch Chris Jansen play his concert over and over again. And if they can send an alert too when it's back up, so that way you don't have to check. Hey, speaking of music, there are some parents at a school that want this teacher removed because the teacher listens to Iron Maiden, Have you guys heard this story? Sharon Burns is the principal of East High School in St. Catherine's Ontario.
Starting point is 00:11:42 She's also an Iron Maiden Mega fan, and I guess those things don't go together according to concerned parents who have put together a petition at change.org and want to see her transferred. On the petition, which has been signed by 456 people, the parents say their stance has nothing to do with Iron Maiden, the band. Instead, it has to do with her openly displaying a handmade sign on which 666 is clearly visible. Oh, yeah, that's weird.
Starting point is 00:12:07 But it's about Iron Maiden. It really is about Iron Maiden. And I was thinking, do I know any Iron Maiden song? I can't think of one. Let me hear. Don't know that one. It's a jam, though.
Starting point is 00:12:29 Not really. You'll take my life, but I'll take it to. You'll know that one. Give me another one. Of the dark, you fear that something's always near. By the way, this is a public school, too, not a Christian school. So I found a picture of the teacher online, and it's like a professional teacher photo, but she has a bird on her shoulder.
Starting point is 00:12:59 I like her already. I think she's just a kooky principal. But the kids have all got together and said, do not kick her out of the school. Yeah, like at the end of the day, is she a good principal? Why can't we just tell her to remove the poster? Right. Move the... And we're done with it.
Starting point is 00:13:15 Because it seems like that's just the problem. I agree. It's just a slippery slope. And also, I'm made to one of these bands who they don't really believe in the 16. 6-6, whatever that is. They just do it because it gets people talking. Yes. Metallica did it. Right. Ozzy did. They're not devil
Starting point is 00:13:30 worshippers. Right. It's just music. She's a big Iron Maiden fan and on the poster it has that. I don't think you kick her out of her job for that. I hate that. But all the kids are like, they put together a longer petition. I'm like, do not. We don't want to lose our principle here. Yeah. But can we just be honest? That music kind of sucks. Yeah, it's not very good. Like I just question her taste.
Starting point is 00:13:49 She's into it. I'm looking at pictures. Give me that first one again. I guess some music I just, I don't get, like the screamo stuff. What's crazy is that they were so big. Like you say Iron Maiden and everyone knows, oh yeah, they're a metal band, but no one knows their songs. And they may be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. That's crazy. There's a chance.
Starting point is 00:14:12 What? I just, I've never heard anything about them. Ever? You've heard the name? No, no. You never heard the name Iron Maiden? No. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:14:19 Okay, well, do we think she should be kicked out of school for that song? No. Negative. Iron Maiden have failed. I guess they're not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. And you know what, did I say to that? Good. Yeah, they're reviewing it. They're like, do you guys know any of the songs? Nope.
Starting point is 00:14:31 Oh, we can let me. Can you name a single Iron Maiden song? Nope. Okay, we're not going to put a minute. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan number two's 30 Second Skinny. Congratulations to Jimmy Allen and his wife Lexi. They welcome their baby girl over the weekend.
Starting point is 00:14:47 Her name is Zara James and everyone is doing great. Brad Paisley has a Christmas song collaboration coming out this Friday with Rob Thomas. The song is called Something About Christmas Time. Here's a teaser he posted to social media. Luke Bryan's wife, Caroline, rescued a cat from the middle of the interstate, and now she is the newest addition to their family. They named her Lucky Bob. You can see the photo on Caroline's Instagram at Lena Brian 3.
Starting point is 00:15:36 I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. First responders were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash in Billings, Montana, where the cars tons of damage, no injuries were reported. Ali Marie Schmahl, as a bystander at the accident scene, took a photo of a firefighter who had responded reading a book to a little girl
Starting point is 00:16:00 after she'd been in the wreck and was all freaked out. Oh. that immediate reaction to do that is changing the trajectory of probably how horrible that was for her. Fire officials identify the firefighter as 26-year-old Ryan Benton of Billings Engine 4. He took it upon himself to read her a story while her parents dealt with the accident. Yeah. This allowed her to calm down and also allowed the parents the ability to focus on getting some sense of normalcy back and getting all everything kind of in line after the accident.
Starting point is 00:16:37 Pretty cool story. Ryan Benton and Billings, Engine 4, you're awesome. That's what it's all about. was tell me something good. We're about to talk to Jimmy Allen, who you may know from these songs, Best Shot. Because when you smile, I see the sun sink down on a coast out of California. Or make me want to. Girl, what's your name, what you're drinking?
Starting point is 00:17:00 Yeah, what's your favorite song? He's on Dancing with the Stars. We're going to try to help him get through this week, and I'm going to, at the end of this, suggest a word he's safe on the show live tonight. Oh. All right. Jimmy Allen is on. Now.
Starting point is 00:17:13 On the Bobby Bones show now. Jimmy, can you visualize yourself winning this show now or no? I'm starting to you. You know, and I feel like country music family, I think it's possible. I would imagine that you are exhausted at this point. And I say that as someone who was touring pretty much the whole time and trying to learn how to dance. I would imagine right now it's really starting to hit you in the gut. Bones, you're correct.
Starting point is 00:17:44 Yeah, dude. It was like, yeah, week four, man, I just felt it all it wants. It was just like, whoa. And like a lot of contestants we were talking about just, like, being sore. But mentally, just take it to another level. Whenever we saw Brian Austin Green and Sharna and then Matt James, they got voted off. Was that shocking to you guys on the floor?
Starting point is 00:18:06 Everybody was shocked. You know, it's like we didn't know exactly who was going home. We were really shocked. We didn't expect Matt and Brian to leave that. For sure. Mostly, I can say the old people go first. Older, just speaking candidly, you know it's pretty good. Jan from the office, she's pretty good dancer.
Starting point is 00:18:25 Oh, wow. Oh, my Lord, good, man. She's one of my favorite dancers. She's fun to watch. She's having fun. But yeah, she's getting after. Do you feel, though, now that you are vulnerable if you don't have a good dance, you could be sent home?
Starting point is 00:18:39 Not really fun. First of all, I think, is about having fun and commit to it. 100%. But two... He fell asleep. Oh, he fell asleep. Oh, he's back. He's back.
Starting point is 00:18:49 All right, we lost him for a second. That was it. Okay. I just kind of like the old three, but if he fall asleep, having some conversations, that's what it's not like. But now it's done. Listen, I get... Jimmy Allen's on with us.
Starting point is 00:19:01 Tonight he's dancing again. What we need is if you watch, you jump in and vote because it's very easy. You can text Jimmy, and they give you all the details there to 21, 5, 23. But during the show, they tell you it's easy to text, and we encourage you to hop. on and vote with Jimmy. Well, because Jimmy is J-I-M-M-I-E.
Starting point is 00:19:19 And I wonder if you text, like, accidentally, people are just thinking, oh, I got to vote for Jimmy and they quickly do J-I-M-M-M-Y. Will he still get credit? I think there's a correction thing. There's a couple of misspelled options. Okay, good.
Starting point is 00:19:32 Because I double-checked that before week one. I was like, hey, let me highlight you all real quick. I think somebody's spelled my name wrong. So tonight, when they talk to you, if you'll just fit in the word a plenty, you know when they go to you like yeah you know we we worked hard you know we we danced a plenty you know I like that word a plenty I feel like if you can just somehow fit in a plenty a plenty yeah hey we should start doing words of the week words I have to somehow start using yeah that's what it is what I'm talking
Starting point is 00:20:00 because what's gonna what's gonna happen is I'll have the show people that are like on the fence about watching anyway check in to see if Jimmy watch if Jimmy says a plenty at some point like look up a plenty Mike so me the definite because I feel like I use that word all the time it's like do yeah I don't know that I've ever heard you say a plenty. Anybody else? No, not me. I don't know, dude. You may be thinking it.
Starting point is 00:20:20 Yeah. Yeah, you got today, but I mean, that's funny. And I think, yeah, Jimmy, that could contribute to, yes, our B teamers are pretty hardcore. If they hear you say it, that equals a vote. Yeah, isn't there like a candy too? It's like a plenty? Yeah, no. A plenty.
Starting point is 00:20:36 What's it called, Mike? Good and plenty. Oh. Just say plenty. Just say plenty. When it comes. When it comes to using that word tonight, I think the options to do it will be a plenty.
Starting point is 00:20:48 Yes, there are going to be disasters of plenty in the garden. It's in abundance. So as long as you say plenty, you've got all of our votes and all of our listeners will be watching for it. Well, deal. It's gone down. All right.
Starting point is 00:21:01 Jimmy Allen, good and plenty. Yeah. Jimmy Allen is on tonight. We want him to win this show. Last question before we go, Jimmy. Would you rather, if you had to pick one, when CMA new artist of the year or Dancing with the Stars.
Starting point is 00:21:14 Ooh. What? Hey. Hey, I see what you're doing there. Man, my service is getting bad. Okay, he's cutting out. All right, hi, hi, right. All right.
Starting point is 00:21:27 Hey, you guys vote for Jimmy tonight. He'll be dancing. What are you dancing to tonight? Can you tell us? Tonight. What song? Yeah, we're done the Fox Shot to St. Greece night.
Starting point is 00:21:41 Oh, it was Greece night. Grease. Fun fact. I was Danny's. Zucco in Greece in high school. That's right. That's fun. Dude, me too. Well, we should doling Zucco up here one day. Wow, that'd be fun.
Starting point is 00:21:52 Dude, we should talk about a multicultural Danny Zucco. Let's do it. Let's do it. Jimmy Allen, dancing tonight. It's going to be dances a plenty with Jimmy Allen dominating. You guys vote for Jimmy. Jimmy, good to talk to you, bud. We'll talk to you soon. You too. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:22:08 All right. See you, buddy. You guys be sure to vote for Jimmy tonight. It's what we call crap from the back or junk from the trunk or prizes of different sizes. It's all kinds of good stuff that we have up here that.
Starting point is 00:26:43 We don't know what to do with individually, but we package it up for you, okay? Okay. We're going to play Never Gonna Get It. All right, so this question will be pretty hard, but you'll have three chances to win. You get a shot. Then you'll pick somebody in the studio to take a shot for you. Then if those don't work out, we'll flip a coin. Everybody feel good about this?
Starting point is 00:27:03 Okay. Yes. Sounds good. The question is, only 13% of American men own this luxury item. Only 13% of American men. own this luxury item. Think about that. Give you about 10 seconds to think about it.
Starting point is 00:27:27 Only 13% of American men own this luxury item. Everybody's writing their answer down. Amy Zin, no? Eddie? I think I got it. Morgan. You got an idea.
Starting point is 00:27:40 Ray? Yep. Okay. Everybody in, though. Yes. Okay, you get a shot first, Ben. 13% of American men own this luxury item. What is it?
Starting point is 00:27:52 I'm going to say sports cards. A sports car. Oh. Does anyone else have sports car? I have fancy sports car. Well, that counts. Right? Same thing. No. No. Fancy is like
Starting point is 00:28:06 Ferrari. They're reaching for no reason because it's wrong. No, it's not. Ferrari versus like... But that's a sports car. I know. Any sports car. Okay, okay. Sorry, this is what I have. Isn't all right? No. Well, okay. That's what I'm saying. There's no need to fight for it. It's completely wrong.
Starting point is 00:28:22 That's not right. Nobody else had that? Uh-uh. Huh. You can change your answer, though. 13% of American men on this luxury item. I'm in. Let's go over to screw Steve and see what exactly he's playing for with the crap in the back.
Starting point is 00:28:37 I was left you asked. Yes, go ahead. What do you have there? Well, we love playing board games around here, as you guys know and listen to the show. So U.S. Opelie, they have a game for Halloween time. It's Horror Edition. Trivial Pursuit. Trivial Pursuit Horror Edition. Yes, we've got a pair of sandals.
Starting point is 00:28:50 Hopefully you wear a size 11. Hey, what size shoe do you wear, Ben? They might fit. What size do you wear again? 10 and a half. Oh, perfect. Oh, that's just. Hey, they run a little large on her.
Starting point is 00:29:02 Yeah. What else? And Aaron Goodvin T-shirt. Oh, Aaron Goodvin, lonely drum. Okay. Yeah. So far, that's wrong. So, Ben, you can match up with Amy, Eddie, Morgan, or Ray Mundo.
Starting point is 00:29:13 Who do you think we'll get it right? I'm going to say Eddie. Okay. Just for the record. I've never won this, ever. I don't think I've ever gotten one right. Let's see if anybody else got it right. Amy, what is your answer? 13% of American men own this luxury item.
Starting point is 00:29:26 A yacht. What? 13%? Too much. No, it's a fancy yacht. Sorry. 13%. I know. I thought that might be kind of high. I don't know one person. Yeah, I don't know a person either.
Starting point is 00:29:38 Maybe Chesney. I go to the water. I mean, I don't know if to call them. When you go out on the water, you see all these fancy yachts and you're like, who the heck are these people? What water do you go on? I may go to the lake. You ever seen boats on something? like a ski boat.
Starting point is 00:29:51 Okay. Driving by. I've seen it on the water. Morgan. Maybe I'm not thinking big enough. Amy's thinking super big and I'm like really small. I'm thinking like a robe. Like I don't know. Guys may not have a robe
Starting point is 00:30:03 and a robe is a luxury item. Is it? A robe is luxury? I'll say, yeah. I don't wear a robe. Robs are fancy people. It is? Or when I'm naked, they knock on the door at the hotel and I'm like, oh, you need something to put on real quick. That's the only time a robe ever gets on my body. That's incorrect.
Starting point is 00:30:19 We're getting correct, but you're a lot closer than what Amy is. Okay. Apparently, I'm way off. Amy's like, Jeff Bezos' a spaceship or Bezos, whatever. A rocket ship. No, it's not. But I mean. Ray Mundo, I went simple to electric toothbrush.
Starting point is 00:30:34 That's a good guest, too. That's a luxury item. Queen Elizabeth, what are you doing? What's happening here? Well, I'm figuring more than 13, it's not just the luxury part. It's that more than 13% of people or men have electric toothbrush. I don't think they do actually. What?
Starting point is 00:30:50 So women are the main population of buying those? I still don't think one of ten women do. Amy, you got to stop fighting. You're just wrong. I'm going to keep fighting. What do you got? That's incorrect, Ray. Eddie, you can win it, though, for Ben.
Starting point is 00:31:03 Look, man, as I heard all these answers coming in, I felt better and better about my guess. What is it? Do you have what you have written down? Do you what? Do you have one more? Do you have what you have written down? Oh, do you own it? No, I do not.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Okay. Okay. But as I look around the room, only one of us has it. Well, I'll tell you, before you give it, I have it. On right now? No. Okay. No.
Starting point is 00:31:29 But I only recently, for the first time ever have it. Love it. That makes me even feel better about my guess. Does that help anybody else? Yes. I know what it is. Oh. Yeah, I have a guess now.
Starting point is 00:31:39 Eddie, go ahead. I'm going to go, I don't know if it's gold, but I'm going to go with a gold necklace. But let's just go necklace. What? Luxury item. No. I don't think I own a gold necklace. Please say.
Starting point is 00:31:50 necklaces. Please say that's the worst answer ever. That is not. Yacht is terrible. No, y'all's not terrible. If we're ranking, yacht's the worst. Whatever. Have you been to Lake Ozart?
Starting point is 00:31:59 Okay. Okay. No, Eddie, that's not right. Okay. When I said I have it, what do you guys think it is now? Watch. No. Rolex.
Starting point is 00:32:07 You don't even have one, do you? No, I thought necklace. I thought Eddie was right. See? Come on. No. A necklace. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:32:14 Not a gold one, but a necklace. A bulldog. Ben. Ice maker. What about Cologne? Cologne solid A wedding ring? No
Starting point is 00:32:23 Oh, that's new I thought about ring American men own this luxury item And you have one Yeah Have we seen it on you? Yes On you?
Starting point is 00:32:31 Yeah On you? No You guys all start listing All the nice things I have I get embarrassed What are those sandals you wear With spikes on them
Starting point is 00:32:39 You're like your pool You guys stuff it Wait 13% of American men Have this luxury item And you've worn it Man I thought I nailed it with necklace Glasses
Starting point is 00:32:49 The answer is Anybody, Scooby, do you know it? Yeah, I know the answer. Oh, you know the answer. We want to guess. I've only worn it once. A tuxedo! There it is. A tuxedo.
Starting point is 00:33:03 But Amy, it doesn't count. You didn't get it. Why, I got it. Ben, you have one more chance to win on the coin flip. Okay, okay. 50-50 chance. Heads or tails?
Starting point is 00:33:14 I'll do heads. Okay, Amy, tell a little Ben what this is. Oh, why didn't you have to move? It came right to me. What do you guess? What's on there? Tails. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:33:28 I was not lucky today. Dang, don't buy a lottery ticket. Dang. Don't leave your house. Dang, that's what's happening. Ben, I'm sorry you did not win. That's okay. Oh, that rhymes.
Starting point is 00:33:42 We hope you had fun, though. Yep, it was great. Thanks, guys. All right. It's always awkward to hang up on these calls. But he's in good spirits. It's all right. Yeah, but he doesn't know what's going to happen to him today.
Starting point is 00:33:50 I'm telling you, it ain't looking good. You're right. Yeah, he lost three in a row. All right, there he is. I mean, but in a way, did he kind of win? Because it was crap from the back. I'll tell you who didn't win, Amy. That's true.
Starting point is 00:33:59 She got a good reason. You're a gold medal. All right, there is. Ben, everybody. That's how we play. Never going to get it. Thank you, everybody. Bye, Ben.
Starting point is 00:34:09 Last week, we talked about Demi Lovato, and she was going, all right, don't call aliens aliens because that is offensive. Because she has a show about aliens. she has been abducted by aliens according to her although if I were to bet on it I would bet she really hasn't been I can't prove she hasn't been but I would bet she hasn't been right yeah I mean the odds are we all bet she hasn't been
Starting point is 00:34:29 and we'll never find out so who knows she's a bit of a cuckoo clock or I mean either she's crazy because she's saying this about the aliens and their feelings or she's you know like you said last week that's offensive Amy use another word please not PC I don't know the PC thing ET that's what she says so you you've said last week Either she could be smart promoting her show. This gets her in the news and we're talking about her. Well, Nildegrasse Tyson, my favorite astrophysicist who's hilarious, he's also on
Starting point is 00:34:54 Instagram and Twitter. He said she's out of her mind, basically, that aliens don't have feelings like humans have feelings, so you can call them whatever you want. Yeah. Because they don't have same language we do. If they're even there. Yeah. See, now we're going down different roads.
Starting point is 00:35:06 Right, because what if they do have feelings? What if they're exactly like us? Dang. I've thought that. Go ahead. Okay. But just they say that people exactly like us wouldn't be able to live some. somewhere else.
Starting point is 00:35:17 That's it. That's exactly it. We're not able to go in it. We can't even go live on the moon. We think there are other versions of us and the same types of bodies with the same thinking, living galaxies away.
Starting point is 00:35:27 Right. You ever looked up though? It goes a long, long way. But I fly for like four hours and I'm dehydrated. You know what I mean? I know. Well, in oxygen, the whole thing,
Starting point is 00:35:36 it'd be difficult. Here's Amy's pile of stories. Well, so this is cool. Apple is reportedly working on some health-focused features. for its AirPods. So it could take your temperature while it's sitting there in your ear.
Starting point is 00:35:51 It can monitor your posture and improve hearing. The temperature thing makes sense, right? Because it's in your hole. Yeah. No, I mean, a good temperature check any time of day. Just pops up on your phone probably
Starting point is 00:36:02 be pretty helpful. I'm probably going to bet, too, they send all their info off and they have it and Big Brother monitors. Oh, shoot. I didn't think about that part. Let me take my tinfoil hat off for a second.
Starting point is 00:36:13 But cool, I'm into it. Yeah, I'm into the hearing thing too because, I mean, we've been wearing headphones for years and years and years. Like, my hearing is definitely affected. I have to turn stuff up and everyone in my family is like, why is this so loud? Because I can't hear it. Yeah, same. This is an interesting combo.
Starting point is 00:36:30 Coffee-Mate creamer is partnering up with rice, crispy treats, and they're making a coffee creamer that's going to taste like the treat. I'm sure that's very exciting for folks that like coffee. I just hate coffee so much. Oh, well, I mean, you do. Maybe you could add this creamer to your chai. Chai tea. No? No, because it's a coffee creamer. Isn't it taste like coffee? No, the creamer doesn't. No, the creamer does. The creamer tastes like whatever you put it in.
Starting point is 00:36:53 Like you could put this creamer over your cereal. A little thick. Hey, I saw in TikTok a guy, hilarious. It looked like something I would do when I was single and like I did not want to do a dish. But he takes plastic, like the plastic, cellophane, whatever you call the plastic stuff over. You put over food, right? Yeah. Seran wrap. Yes. And he puts it in a bowl on the bottom and it goes over the top of the bowl. And then he pours his milk and cereal in it and eats from inside the food. that and then at the end he pulled it out and throws it away and the bowl is still clean.
Starting point is 00:37:19 Oh, that's genius. I said, I was like, that is so smart. I'm doing that. And his wife was like, what are you doing? He's just like, we have bowls. We have a dishwasher. He's like, why? And I was like, that's right.
Starting point is 00:37:29 Hallelujah. Why? Well, okay, yeah, because then you're wasting plastic wrap and then I wonder. Too many thoughts. Too many thoughts. Okay, too many thoughts. All right. Some country people and it's Halloween's approaching. So a lot of people are talking about Halloween memories.
Starting point is 00:37:43 And I've got one from Dirk's Bentley on how they used to get, fireworks for Halloween. When I was a kid, man, I was all into fireworks. You know, growing up in Arizona, we couldn't get them, so we'd have them shipped in illegally. Still remember the name of the guy we'd call his name was Joe, and he'd bring in a ship in a package with no writing on them. We were all about the M80s and the mailboxes and bottle rockets. To me, as a kid, Halloween was fireworks. It was blowing stuff up around home. Interesting. It was, and I used to work at a fireworks then to make extra money during Fourth of July and Halloween. Oh, I have never heard of fireworks for Halloween.
Starting point is 00:38:16 And so we wouldn't make near as much during Halloween, but we'd have it open. And we kind of weren't supposed to open it, but we had so many left over from July 4th. We wouldn't send back. My neighbor had a stand. And so, but we would go and we'd shoot off Roman candles, too, a lot. That's mostly what Halloween was, trick-or-treating and hiding roaming candles. Hey, now that's country. So I guess...
Starting point is 00:38:32 Yeah, that's the thing. It's very country. But for Arizona, Dirk's had to get them in because I guess it's so dry there. Oh, maybe it's illegal all the time? I don't know. That's what it says. So they had to ship them in from that guy, Joe, but... Classic Joe.
Starting point is 00:38:45 Yeah. I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. So this family in New Jersey, they have six biological children. The mom and dad, way to Michelle.
Starting point is 00:39:02 And they have just decided to adopt seven siblings from Ukraine. Wait, on top of the six kids already? Yes. And the kids' age ranges are six to 17. So they're bringing in this older group of kids So that way they don't have to be separated and split up And there's some language challenges But a bunch of members from the family
Starting point is 00:39:25 They're all learning Ukraine and Russian Ukrainian and Russian So they're learning to bridge that gap First of all they have six kids That's a lot of kids. I know. Like to take that on So that these kids don't have to get split up
Starting point is 00:39:37 Man, I hope they got a big old house Yeah, right? That's what I was thinking too. I mean I started thinking about the actual day-to-day living What about the girls? grocery bill. Oh yeah, that's a lot. I mean, I got to imagine what just you and two kids, that's crazy. Oh, yeah, no. I'm like, don't throw that away. You say that. If you're not going to eat it, let's put it in the fridge. Now, that's awesome. That is what it's all about. That was tell me something good. Playing video games for one hour improves ability to focus. Oh. I knew it. Boom, I sent the story
Starting point is 00:40:06 immediately to Caitlin. Okay, but one hour is the, I think the key there. It doesn't say for five hours. It says just one hour for exercise your brain. I don't play for five hours. But I don't people listening, they have that problem. I've created my player. What stinks is I was so good in college that you got drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars. And I'm playing quarterback for the Jaguars. And they're terrible. But you'll feel better when you take them to the Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:40:28 I already won a Super Bowl with them. Then I asked for my release. They wouldn't release me. We get really into this stuff, Amy. I can tell. I love playing Madden football. And it'll be back NBA. But with plenty of people going to video games, everybody's all hater on them.
Starting point is 00:40:40 But playing an hour of video games actually increases the brain's ability to focus. So let everybody, everybody should be forced to play an hour of video games every day. In a new poll, more people said they'd rather know when they die than how they die. If someone came to you right now and said, hey, this is the only shot you're going to have, I will let you know when you're going to die. Would you take it? I would rather know when than how. Yes, I think we all would, right? When?
Starting point is 00:41:07 I don't want to know how. How just seems like it hurts. Yeah, because then you're like, if you learn how, and every day, you're going to be like, is it today? Is it today today? Follow me here. It's all win. We all vote win. Okay, we vote when, win, win.
Starting point is 00:41:19 Follow me. If someone comes up and goes, hey, and they open their trench coat, like they're selling watches or something. Is this in an alley? It just feels shady, yeah. Like, hey, look, man. I got five minutes.
Starting point is 00:41:29 If you want to know when you die, I'll tell you. If not, you're never going to know. Do you say you want to know or not? Yeah. You do? I don't think so, but I would probably be tempted if it really, really happened.
Starting point is 00:41:41 I mean, I guess, so that I could maybe start making different decisions? No, you can't change the outcome. No, not to not die, but like, how am I going to live my life every day? And, like, what do I need to do to prepare and set up, like, my kids, different
Starting point is 00:41:55 things? Do I need to quit my job and just go to Disney? You would say yes, tell me when. Eddie? Wow, no chance. Look, I already get real anxious when I know something's happening on Friday and it's Monday, and I'm just like, oh, my gosh. You imagine if you know you're dying at a certain time, you're going to be freaking out the whole time, and you're like, Oh, I got to do this.
Starting point is 00:42:13 I got to do that. No, the lesson here is just enjoy your life every day because you don't know when you're going to die. I didn't know there was a lesson here. Right here. I would say no. And also, I don't want to know when I do die. I'm with you.
Starting point is 00:42:26 I just want to be gone. That's it. I don't want to know what's coming. Just walking down the street. Hey, man, how you doing? And click, click. That's it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:36 Chords been pulled. Which is realistic. I don't know. I think most people kind of know when they're going to die. They're getting older. They have diseases. or fighting something. Oh yeah, I guess I'm thinking accidental death.
Starting point is 00:42:46 Yeah. Like plane crash car wreck isn't, I don't think it's common as heart disease. But no, happy morning, everybody. I know. Now I'm thinking about how I constantly worry about cancer and, wow, all the things. But I would not want to know when I was dying. No chance. Over to Amy with the morning corny.
Starting point is 00:43:08 The morning corny. What do Italian restaurants serve on Halloween? What do Italian restaurants serve on Halloween? Fetuccini Afredo. Afraido. Afraido. That was the morning corny. Here's a couple voicemails that we got over the weekend.
Starting point is 00:43:29 Here's the first one. Quick question. I got some movers coming to move some of my stuff out of my current condo into a new one. Am I supposed to tip them beyond what I'm paying them up front? So do I slip them some cash on the way out? Do I add it on to my credit card when I've done? I can, you know, I'm able to. But I just wasn't sure like if it's something expected.
Starting point is 00:43:54 Love you guys. Talk soon. For movers, yes. Why yes for movers? Yeah. Now, this is what I do. First of all, cash is king, especially for movers, because if you're paying on a credit card, you don't know where that money is going. You don't know how much the tip they're actually getting if they even get it at all. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:44:07 They probably do. But if you can get cash, that's awesome. Now, what I do, especially with movers, is I know what I'm going to tip them, but I hit them up front with a little bit because then they're probably a little gentler, a little nicer with them stuff. And I don't say it's the full tip. I say, hey, I'm going to give you guys a little tip up front for just being here. And I'll definitely get you on the backside too, but I appreciate you.
Starting point is 00:44:29 If you don't think they're going to take care of your stuff now, you're out of your mind. It's an investment. It's not a flex. It's an investment because I don't think I've ever moved and something hasn't been broken because there's just too much. It's a numbers game. So, yes to tip movers. Break them off a little something early in Kizash.
Starting point is 00:44:47 And then on the backside, when you give them the real tip, try to make it in Kizash, the end. And also, don't call it Kizash, because you're a real loser if you do. Kazash. Also, too, last time I had movers, it was early in the morning and I went and I got breakfast and I showed up at the house and passed it out to everybody and they were so appreciative. And I do feel like it helped contribute to the overall. morale of packing up. By morale of packing up, we mean they're not reckless.
Starting point is 00:45:14 Exactly. Yeah, that was my question. Does it have to be Kazash or can it be food? It can, but not as good. I still tipped, but I'm just saying. Did you give them Kizash up front? It did not do the Kizash up front. I'm telling you that's why.
Starting point is 00:45:27 I hear you. I'm just saying. That's nice of you, though. Good for you. Thank you. Kizash is kissing. Don't forget. Let's do another voicemail.
Starting point is 00:45:34 When you picked out your ring, or did your wife pick off her ring? And a dilemma What I should do? Let her pick it out Or should I pick up the ring out? I mean, no, thanks. This is all based on her personality.
Starting point is 00:45:48 There is no right or wrong answer here. I surprised my wife with her ring. She did not know it was coming. She did not know what it was. But I had to do some research to figure out what she liked. I would not go fully rogue and pick out a ring when you have no idea what her ring size is, what kind of you. I wouldn't go 100% rogue. Yeah, because you can always talk to a best friend, a sister, something where,
Starting point is 00:46:12 and they're going to be able to guide you in the right direction. Some people, though, just want to go pick it out. Yeah. Like, I think Ray's wife did that. Ray? Yeah. You guys went and picked it out. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:46:23 And I think it just, it's the personality of the person you're marrying. I knew Caitlin would be finally being surprised. So I would say you can surprise her, but you need to have a little background info on what she likes. And if you can't get that background info, I don't. definitely wouldn't go spend a bunch of money and just go straight road. You know what I mean? Mm-hmm. Thank you.

I get the first overall pick I'm going Batman
Starting point is 00:50:40 You have to Strong You have to So my pick number one is going to be Batman As the greatest superhero And I don't think I think 15 years ago I would have said it's Superman Oh yeah
Starting point is 00:50:52 But Batman has become the biggest singular hero Because of all the movies But Superman's strong But Batman is my number one pick Amy I just have to go with my favorite here And it's Iron Man Okay
Starting point is 00:51:04 It's good. He's the first rounder for sure. Thank you for your affirmation. No problem. Eddie? I'm going to go against your theory, and I will go with Superman, because he is the man. Yeah, he is the man. I mean, he's the man, for sure. Morgan? He's so big that he has three different movie series. It's Spider-Man. Good one. Ray?
Starting point is 00:51:30 Chick-vote, give me Wonder Woman. If you yell chick-vote, I don't know you're getting chick-vote. vote. I think you just have to... I don't think you yell pandering and then pander. I think you just... But okay. Wonder Woman. There's our first round. We go three rounds and then we go backward for the second round. So Ray, if you'll yell whose vote you're going for when you yell your superhero, let us know.
Starting point is 00:51:57 Go ahead. He's green. All the green people out there and he's jacked. People that work out. Give me Hulk. Hulk. Got it. Green people out there, huh? Maybe Ray means like people that plant gardens. Oh, green thumb people. Morgan.
Starting point is 00:52:16 He's the god of thunder. It's Thor. There's just some good ones left. Amy? Whoa, whoa, whoa. Oh, Eddie. Oh, Eddie. Sorry, sorry, sorry, so.
Starting point is 00:52:25 We're kind of running out, though, Bones. No, we're not even. Give me, since we're all American here. Oh, crap. I mean, we love being Americans. Give me Captain America. Dang it. I was hoping that one lasted.
Starting point is 00:52:39 Yeah. Amy? Black Panther. Good one. Well, now there's not crap left. Right. Because I ain't picking Daredevil. I didn't have that on the list.
Starting point is 00:52:53 Who is that? Oh, he's the little one, right? No, that's Ant Man. God. Okay, it's my pick. Oh, that's Ben Affleck. Dairdouble. He's also Batman.
Starting point is 00:53:08 I'm going to go, what did you say? He's also Batman. Yeah, true. I'm gonna go with... Oh man, this is... Like, I feel like now I'm in the different tier completely. You guys took all the good ones. Are there any marvels left?
Starting point is 00:53:22 Yes. Batman Superman... I can say that, yes. Captain America, Spider-Man, Thor, Black Panther. Oh, we took that... Hmm. I mean, no, there's Hawkeye, but he's stupid. Bow and Arrow?
Starting point is 00:53:35 Who cares I'd rather have Robin Hood? Jeremy Renner. Well, I'm not insulting the actor. No, I know, I know, but he plays him. I'm gonna go with... Wolverine Wow forgot about him
Starting point is 00:53:51 well crap I don't have anybody else I'm going Wolverine all right that's second round now we're at third round but now they're all like assistants like there's Captain Marvel
Starting point is 00:54:11 but I don't know that she would be picked there's Wanda Wanda Vision? Yeah oh there's vision too right so I have the first pick in the next round I guess I'm going to go with Deadpool. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've heard of him.
Starting point is 00:54:34 Yeah. Ryan Reynolds. Yeah, no, I know. Amy, I don't know. Who did Ray, who does Ray have? Who knows? He yelled out, Women Rock. And then he picked out Wonder Woman.
Starting point is 00:54:45 Wonder Woman and Hulk. Oh, okay. You're up. I mean, my kids, like, loved this when they first got to America. We watched it all the time. It taught them a lot of English. so I'm going to go with Flash. Oh, I didn't even write that one down.
Starting point is 00:55:02 Flash, forgot about it too. Flash is awesome. I mean, if you... You have a good first and second round, so I'd feel pretty good about that. My second round... I mean, what are we supposed to do for the third? I mean, it's... I know.
Starting point is 00:55:13 Ninja turtles. They're on my list. Are they? I have them on mine, but I... Oh, they're superheroes? Yeah. They are? They're turtles that fight.
Starting point is 00:55:21 Superhero Eddie, your last pick? Man, I mean, she is one bad chick, so give me Captain Marvel. I love those movies. I think she is awesome. That's chick vote. Morgan. Morgan. I'm between two.
Starting point is 00:55:37 Black Widow. Yeah, she's cool, too. And Scarlet Witch, which is Wanda. That's her name, Scarlet Witch? Mm-hmm. Oh. And they're both super popular right now. They both just had big things come out.
Starting point is 00:55:50 I love Black Widow, though. Give me Black Widow. Okay. Ramundo, final pick, and please yell out the person you're catering to. Has anybody done? Aquaman. No. Interesting. I'm going between that one and then also Catwoman. I just don't know what really, I don't really remember Catwoman doing a lot.
Starting point is 00:56:09 But it is for the chick vote. What's Aquaman for? What did you do? Hurricanes? I don't know. Fisherman. Or fish? Yeah, fishermen. Oceanologist. Marine biologists. I like Catwoman. I'm going to do her. Interesting choice. I have words. Weird way to say that.
Starting point is 00:56:28 Odd collection of language Okay, we have our teams I have Batman, Wolverine, and Deadpool Amy has Iron Man, Black Panther, and Flash Solid. Why did you not yell solid to her mind? See how, that's how it feels. That's normally me.
Starting point is 00:56:49 That's normally what happens. Y'all are all like, ooh, good, good one. And then I speak and y'all just like, okay, next. I just kind of listen back and I'm like, who would I vote for? Eddie has Superman, Captain America, and Captain Marvel. Solid. Don't yell solid at your own team. Morgan has Spider-Man, Thor, and Black Widow.
Starting point is 00:57:05 Feel strong. Yeah, that's pretty strong. And Ramundo has Wonder Woman Hulk and Catwoman. Deal! I'm gonna tell you who's not gonna win. Well, you never know. It surprises us. Go vote at Bobbybones.com.
Starting point is 00:57:18 We'll put the poll up there. It'll only be up there for a little bit. Vote on the team that you think should win. Well, there you have it. There's our superhero. I thought there would be more good ones. because you always look forward to having the first pick and usually there's something good on the second round
Starting point is 00:57:29 I have leftovers I basically have meatloaf from Tuesday night oh meatloaf why didn't draft him he's a singer I would do it all right there you go bobbybones.com to vote hey in a little bit some personal news very big personal news from someone
Starting point is 00:57:46 here on the show someone that's here today breaking news big personal news we'll do that in 15 or 20 minutes I do want to talk about something with Eddie for a second though because I think it's so interesting. You know, sometimes you're front and go and it's an amber alert. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:00 Or you're driving down the street and we hear have those digital signs that will say amber alert. Nine-year-old boy, brown hair. And most times it's in a town. Her elderly man, blue Toyota. That's a silver alert. That's not an amber alert. Oh, I didn't know they were different. Amber Children.
Starting point is 00:58:15 Eddie's mom found an Amber Alert person once. No, recently. I would say it's the last couple weeks. What? Yes, she said that she got an Amber Alert and then she was watching the news, saw some little girl was missing from up north she lives in Texas and then that was it From up north she cut an amber out from another state
Starting point is 00:58:31 Yeah from another state So I guess they were They had suspected that she was headed down that way So anyway she saw the news Kind of the picture of this person Missing got into her head And she didn't think much about it But her and my dad were driving around
Starting point is 00:58:44 At a grocery store and she saw a little girl That looked just like the missing girl In a parking lot Now that would be weird because you would go Should I really call the cops Because there's really no chance that's her Right. That's what I would think.
Starting point is 00:58:55 Like, they're going to think I'm crazy if I call the cops and this girl who kind of looks like. Because what are the odds? What are the odds? She said that she was just acting strange and it looked like she was waiting for someone kind of hiding in bushes a little bit. So she said, I'm telling you right now, that is her. I know the face. That's her. So she called the cops.
Starting point is 00:59:14 But she didn't really wait around. They went in the store. And when she got back out, the cops were they're looking, but the girl was gone. So they did not get there in time. So her call and the fact that she saw it and she's still stuck by it She's like I saw her that was her And the cops were like well we can't find her she's not here anymore Oh whatever a couple days later she looks on the news and they find her at the Mexican border
Starting point is 00:59:36 So she was safe the cops got the kidnapper and they rescued the girl and that was her Oh my gosh it was the girl that was the girl Thank goodness so they were taking her to Mexico Yeah and this was a legit kidnapping it wasn't like a family member sometimes you feel it you hear like stories of it of a stepdad or whatever taking it's like a parent battle it wasn't like this this was an actual kidnapping oh that is do you think that the cops
Starting point is 01:00:00 took your mom's report seriously and kept an eye out like down to Mexico or do you think they knew that we're going that way anyway oh I don't know that's a good question I felt like they delayed the response because what are the chances of that's the girl from the you think they didn't believe her yes so they're just like north Texas yeah from no it was even like North America
Starting point is 01:00:20 somewhere like in Michigan I think oh my Okay. And so, yeah, so I think the cops just kind of said, well, get there when we get there kind of thing. And then when they got there, she was gone. Well, first of all, glad they saved the girl. Yes. Too crazy your mom had the... It takes courage to call the cops.
Starting point is 01:00:35 I know. I would have been like, I don't know. I don't know bother the cops. And I would have doubted myself, too. Like, not really convinced that that was really the girl. Yeah, I think we default to like, I don't want to waste people's time. Right. I'm being crazy.
Starting point is 01:00:46 Wow, that's crazy. Yeah, man. She just told me this. And I'm like, you never told me this story. This is crazy. So the takeaway, too, is, wow, I mean, just go ahead and call. It can't hurt. Well, look at the Amber Alert.
Starting point is 01:00:57 That's what I take away. Mostly I'm like, we have the phone going on again. True. Yeah, what's Eddie want? Is Eddie FaceTiming me from the toilet again? It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. Tell me something good.
Starting point is 01:01:10 For two years now, people in Colorado out in the mountains area, they could see an elk with a tire around its antlers, and they see it for a second, then the elk is gone. So people have been reporting it. Well, just last Saturday, the wildlife officials said, oh my gosh, we got a call where it is. They finally saw it.
Starting point is 01:01:27 They tranquilized the elk for a second and they got to remove the tire. The thing had a tire in its antlers for two years. Oh, my. I wonder if it grew into the antlers. I don't know. I mean, I thought about it. It doesn't say in the story,
Starting point is 01:01:38 but I thought about it like when maybe there was food in the tire and he stuck his head in there and just got it stuck for two years. But it was when they cut it off, they realized it was about 35 pounds that that elk was carrying. Oh, that's awful. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:48 I bet he had a ripped up muscular neck. Yeah. It's like a bodybuilder, but like those things coming out. Get that elk a chiropractor. Yeah, that's awesome. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Big life-changing news for someone here on the show.
Starting point is 01:02:03 We'll get into that in the next 10 minutes or so. Thank you for being here. Let's go over to the real news first. Bobby's Big. Stories. Colin Powell, the first black U.S. Secretary of State, whose leadership in several Republican administrations, has passed away due to COVID.
Starting point is 01:02:22 He was 84 years old. I mean, an American hero and also a guy who both parties were often mad at, which is awesome. Yeah. I mean, he was a real unifier at a time when nobody is unified. And when you kind of need to be unified to make anything happen, because as you can see, if one side has it and the other one doesn't, you just fight about it and nothing ever gets accomplished. But a real unifier in American politics and just America.
Starting point is 01:02:49 again he did it all passed away because of COVID 84 years old his family put it out there on Facebook I saw it this morning I don't know if it happened this weekend or not but rest in peace to Colin Powell just seemed to me like a genuinely likable guy as well
Starting point is 01:03:06 aside from what he was doing in the front of things and politically and just seemed like a likable guy I mean I hadn't seen him in the news or anything recently but he's in the not 9-11 documentary that came out that I watched. And, yeah, I just so much respect for him and what he had to do during that time.
Starting point is 01:03:27 We'll move to the next story because there really isn't a proper transition there. Ooh, that one's sad. We'll do that one forth. We'll lighten it up a little bit. Let's see. It's official. Courtney Kardashian is engaged to Travis Parker. All right. She's like the one I like.
Starting point is 01:03:42 Yeah. You don't like the other ones? No, it's not that I don't like them. It's just that I have no affinity. I'm not like, oh, wow, I can't wait to see what Chloe's up to. But if you had to rank them. I would go Courtney first because she seems the most normal of the five, depending on which way you look at it.
Starting point is 01:03:59 Like Courtney seems like someone you can just hang out with. But she and Travis Barker are engaged. It's actually her, she's never been married. Because her and Scott Disick weren't married. Yeah, they just had kids. And, I mean, they were together, but. And then it's the drummer from Blink 182. That's cool.
Starting point is 01:04:14 Who a lot of people don't even know. Like, Kailen doesn't know him from Blink 182. She just knows him as, like, the producer that ends up. up on Machining on Kelly record. Oh, wow. And is also the guy with Courtney Kardashian. So, congratulations to them. It was on a beach.
Starting point is 01:04:26 It was on a beach. I have to say, the more I've gotten to know Kim, I like her. Oh, Caitlin loves Kim Kardashian. She's like, she's super smart and she isn't what most people feel about her. She's been a longtime been a Kim advocate to the point where I'm like, all right, all right, I get it. She's probably not as whatever that I've assigned her. Audi vehicles will let you know exactly when the light will change now.
Starting point is 01:04:53 It's a dashboard clock that counts down the time left until the signal changes to green. The clock will also pop up when you're getting close to a light. So you know how much time you have until you make the light. I just hope it's right. They've integrated it into many of their newer model vehicles. I'm still going to wait to see the light myself. Yeah, me. I'm going straight looking right at the dash and nothing else.
Starting point is 01:05:13 But I've got to think this wouldn't match up or sink up with the stoplight in Mountain Pine, Arkansas. Right, exactly. Every light. I would think you would need to be in a major metropolitan area where they've done some updating on their software. Yeah. Again, I would think Mountain Pine population 706, their stoplights aren't going to quite...
Starting point is 01:05:30 But do you have a stoplight? One. Yeah, one, right? Oh, no, we don't have one. Yeah. Yeah, that's true. So we're good. Yeah, I guess I can go to Mount Pine and be fine.
Starting point is 01:05:42 That's right. We don't have a stoplight in my town. Finally, 17 American missionaries were kidnapped in Haiti. And Amy, I'll ask you about this. Your kids are from Haiti. You met your kids on a mission trip in Haiti. Oh, yeah. I mean, I used to go to Haiti. For about five years, I was going at least four times a year. And I haven't been able to go back because of safety issues for the last three years. Ever since I brought my kids home in 2017. And we wanted to take them back. But yeah, kidnappings are completely rampant there.
Starting point is 01:06:11 It's out of control. A gang kidnapped this group. They've been kidnapping religious people for ransom. and I don't know, they haven't put out a lot of the details. They don't know where they are or what's happening, but hopefully they'll just, they request like a crazy amount of money, but then they'll end up, like say, and I'm just throwing a number out there. They're asking for one million for each of the victims. Say one million for each victim. But maybe hopefully they'll end up taking like, you know, 10,000 or 20,000 or something.
Starting point is 01:06:37 I don't know, but hopefully they will return safely and unharmed because it's for money. 16 Americans, one Canadian, there are five children being held. It's terrible. The Ohio-based missionaries were reportedly taken while heading north of Port of Prince after building an orphanage. Yeah. I mean, and one of the guys, WhatsApp, we use that a lot to communicate while you're in Haiti. And he sent out a message, like right away, like, we're being held at gunpoint. Like, please pray.
Starting point is 01:07:05 You know what's happening. And then that's the last communication they had. Not to you. No, not to me. I mean, he sent WhatsApp. I'm saying it's popular to use WhatsApp to communicate with, like, groups of mass people. and he sent something out and like my chills when I read that because yeah there's so many times where I personally probably got too comfortable down in Haiti and would not take my husband seriously
Starting point is 01:07:27 when he would tell me and some of my friends to not walk certain places but we're like we got it we're fine and it's just a reminder that you know to always be on the look at especially if you're in a dangerous place and I'm just praying for Haiti and hope others will join that they can get it pull it together and some of these gangs will just stop doing what they're doing. It's terrible. I don't see them stopping unless they're forced to stop. I know. I don't think that their conscience takes over.
Starting point is 01:07:52 They're like, hey, gang guys, come here for second. Probably not. Yeah. It's not. I know. It's just out of control because everything's just so fragile there. All right, that's the news. Those were Bobby's big.
Starting point is 01:08:03 Stories. All right, breaking news. Personal news. Somebody on the show has a big news announcement. that person is not me or Amy it is Eddie. Oh my goodness. This is this big. You said it was life changing. It is because
Starting point is 01:08:23 gosh, almost three years ago my wife and I opened our house to to become a foster home and we got two boys. Gosh, and I never ever, ever thought that we would get to this point. Well, I remember too, you didn't take them both in his foster kids at the same time.
Starting point is 01:08:41 You didn't even want to be a foster parent at first. That's correct. And then you call one nine and you're like, Hey, we're going to go pick up a baby. We're going to keep it for a little bit. Yeah. Yeah, my wife was, I mean, she's been wanting to do this for as long as I can remember, but I've been the roadblock.
Starting point is 01:08:56 I was the roadblock of just like, we're fine. Like, we have our own kids. Our life's good. We're okay. We're finally in a good place where we can really just be ourselves and just us for. And then this happened. And so then they call you, how long after the baby? They call us.
Starting point is 01:09:13 We got the baby for about three or four days. days and then they called us again and said, hey, they have, this baby has another brother, a sibling that needs a home quick. And so they said it might not be forever. It just may be for a couple days if you can take in his sibling. So we said, okay, we can take him in for a few days. We'll see where that goes. And now it's been three years. It's, yeah, I mean, we're pretty shy, just a few months shy of three years. And, and I remember, I would say about a year ago, Bones, or about a year and a half ago is when I kind of just decided, like, there's no way. I can picture my life without these two boys.
Starting point is 01:09:48 You know, it went from like, we're just going to be a foster home. We'll obey God and we'll just see where that takes us and we'll go from there, right? But I'd say about a year and a half ago, I said I cannot see our family without these two boys being a part of our family. And I'm just proud to announce, Vones, that a judge has approved our adoption and we're, they're ours forever. They're ours forever, man. Like, these two boys are part of our family now. and we are a family of six just like that. And so they are now your kids.
Starting point is 01:10:19 Yes. They are our boys. We went to the, I guess not a swearing in. What did I go to a hearing? I mean, it was, yeah, it was our adoption hearing. Where you go in and, you know, we all took a picture. Yeah. You know, it was a whole thing.
Starting point is 01:10:36 It was pretty awesome. I had my boys dressed in cowboys gear. Oh, yeah. We get to the courthouse. And it's Eddie and his wife and lunchbox. was there and I was there and then all the kids were there and they're all wearing Dallas Cowboy jerseys and I was like I was head to a game after this no no so what our idea was to have Dallas Cowboys jersey for all four of them and they were labeled one for my oldest two for the
Starting point is 01:10:59 next three for the next and four for the baby got it in that order your wife said you guys had ordered some prior to getting those but you ordered from China yes and they said Dallas Cowboy yeah yeah those eventually came in and we're actually pretty cool but yeah we're worried that we're going to say Dallas Cowboy And so now what changes? So now, I mean, I'm telling you, we're so relieved because when you're a foster home, you have a lot of people coming into your house. You have caseworkers coming in sometimes weekly, sometimes, you know, twice a month, three times a month or whatever. And they're just kind of checking to see if your house is okay for them.
Starting point is 01:11:35 And now that's done. Like we're just going to live a normal life with these two boys, a part of our family. They are my sons. they are my son's brothers. Like, that's just what it is now. We're just a family of six and we can move on with our lives. And we're just, I mean, I'm just so, so excited. The oldest.
Starting point is 01:11:55 Yes. Because the baby only knows you guys. We picked him up at the hospital, so he knows no one else. The oldest, what is his take on it? I want to say that he doesn't open up very much. I think he goes to therapy, but he doesn't really open up to them, really. I think eventually at some point in his life, he will, but I can see changes, you know, as just the days go by. I know that during the court date,
Starting point is 01:12:21 the day that we adopted them, there was a little bit of fear when we got to the courthouse. I can see fear in his eyes, like, oh, great. Like, this reminds me of the last time I was in court, which was the reason I'm here, you know, like the last time I saw my mom. This is, that's, that's, I could just see that in his eyes. But when the adoption was finalized, and we told him that you are Garcia, like you are part of our family, it was just relief, huge relief. And the rest of the day was very exciting. He said he wanted to start learning Spanish. He wanted to have tacos for dinner because he's a Garcia now.
Starting point is 01:12:54 Wow. He's fully embraced the culture. He was all in. Just like that. Just like that he was all in. And I mean, I don't know if he truly grasped the idea of what was happening with the judge and the courtroom and all that. But we made him understand completely that there's no going back now.
Starting point is 01:13:12 part of us. This is, we're his family. Well, congratulations, man. Thank you, man. It's amazing. Thank you so much. We've had many private conversations about it, but the fact that, you know, publicly you can say it. Yes. We've been through the whole process on the air over the last three years. You have two extra kids, two kids. What do you call them now? Just your sons? They're our boys. Just your, those are my boys. Yes. So now you have four boys. I have four boys. I mean, your wife. Four boys. Yeah, she is outnumbered for sure. Holy moly, man. Yeah. Well, I can congratulate. Last night somebody farted and she was like, well, this is just a part of my life. There's four of farts.
Starting point is 01:13:42 And we all laughed, me included. Uh-huh. Yeah. After the hearing was talking to the judge, and I'm asking questions like, so you never put anybody in the big house? Like, because the judge was just available hanging out. Dude, he let us have the courtroom for like 30 minutes. He said, this is all years. Do whatever you want here.
Starting point is 01:13:58 So it was crazy because once all the kids left, we all got naked. Oh, yeah. Yeah. It's wild. Interesting. We did a play and everything. All seriousness. Congratulations, man.
Starting point is 01:14:08 Thank you, man. Thank you so much. So happy for your family. Tomorrow's show, I want to save until tomorrow because I do want to get into Abby and the Firefighter in a second. Oh, yeah. Tomorrow's show, Eddie did offer his kids the ability to change their name, not their last name, but any name. Any name. He was like, hey, you can choose your names.
Starting point is 01:14:27 And I LOLed when Eddie told me what one of the kids wanted to be named. And Eddie kind of went along with it. Yeah, I too alleled. Okay, and it's really going to happen? No, it did. It's already happened, right? It happened. I will say that the change happened.
Starting point is 01:14:42 Eddie let his kids pick their name. And he did, and it happened. Interesting. We'll talk about that tomorrow morning. Okay, quick recap. Abby, our phone screener, gets a random text from a guy who's standing outside of a fire truck going, hey, here's their picture. Here's my picture.
Starting point is 01:15:01 Now, Abby's like, what, huh? He goes, oh, that's an accident. I didn't mean to text this to you. I meant to text it to my fire chief. They start talking. They're flirting. We go, Abby. Abby, this could be a scam.
Starting point is 01:15:13 She goes, I don't think it is. We all have a debate about it. She FaceTimes him. He answers, but he also blocked her on Instagram. But then we called that Fire Chief's number that was close to Abby's number, and it didn't exist. It's been odd. The whole thing's been on. So many weird things.
Starting point is 01:15:32 But she spent the weekend, and Abby, I don't want to give away too much because we're going to come back and do this in a second. But you did talk to him on FaceTime. I did. Yes. You have answers to all the questions. I got answers. Do you want them or you just want to go home? What are you talking about?
Starting point is 01:15:46 I want them. I'm already trying to dissect her tone. Like, does she sound like, yes, I got answers and you're dating? Or yes, I got answers and he's crazy. Both she has answers to all the questions? Do you have answers to all? Because Abby sent me a whole long note about it, but I didn't read it all because I wanted to experience it. Yeah, that's very long when I sent you.
Starting point is 01:16:02 Yeah, there's probably one that's not quite answered. Oh, no. Okay. We're going to come back. Abby's going to give us all the answers that she has about this firefighter. Sunday is a company trying to make that part easier. They start with a soil test and climate data to build a yard plant tailor to where you live, then ship everything directly to your door. Starting point is 01:20:03 What do you think? Well, I've been wondering how things with Abby have been going. I know that it took me almost 40 years to find the only one that could have been in my life for the entire time. It's very tough, very difficult. And to put yourself in that position, especially like on a national broadcast, it takes a special kind of person. It's chopping out a little bit. Yeah. So it's kind of hard to hear him.
Starting point is 01:20:32 But Abby, he, like us, wants to. know what's going on. So you have been talking to this firefighter who just mysteriously texted you, good looking guy standing in front of a fire truck. And it was like, oops, didn't mean to send that to you. But then he just kept flirting. Right. The conversation is just so easy and he's funny and witty. And good looking. He's the total package. And a firefighter. Like everything about it seemed like a scam. Right. Like someone was trying to catfish you. Exactly. So we're like Abby, you need to be careful here. Yeah. Guard up. So we kept talking about it.
Starting point is 01:21:04 You FaceTimed him on the air. He answered so we realized he was real. But then we realized he blocked you on Instagram. He wasn't showing up. So I guess I assumed, yeah, he blocked me. Well, all of us. He showed up for all of us. He showed up for everybody but you.
Starting point is 01:21:20 Yeah. So you were going into the weekend. You were going to have a FaceTime date or conversation with him. I need to know everything. Dump it out. Because last week after the show, I was like, hey, do you want to talk on the phone sometime? and he got really mad and was like,
Starting point is 01:21:34 I'm getting messages on Instagram that you've been sharing my personal information. And so this whole, I thought that was going to be in there, the in there. I thought he was mad at me. But nothing about him was shared. Right. Well, you're right.
Starting point is 01:21:46 What? Nothing was. No, nothing was. I mean, but people, obviously enough was shared to where people were thinking, is this you? No.
Starting point is 01:21:53 No, I would think he was listening and he's been listening the whole time. So you don't think he got any DMs? No. Oh. We never mentioned anything about who he was, what his name was. was. Correct. But he told her that.
Starting point is 01:22:04 He said he did get a few DMs, though. Hey, okay, prove it. It was it like when he proved it was it like when he proved his Fire Chief's phone number and it wasn't a real number when we called it? Oh, well, I do have info on that. Okay, let's go. Just break it down. Dump it out on us. Okay, so I FaceTimed him on Friday and I was like, look,
Starting point is 01:22:20 you got to be straight up. Like, you honestly did not know who I was at all. Like, you had not heard the show or anything, right? Never? And he's like, no, I've never listened to the show. Like, I've heard it advertised, but I've never listened to the show. Advertising. Here's the first thing. Ain't nobody advertising. about our show. One thing I fight with our company about is spend some money
Starting point is 01:22:35 advertises. Well, oh, he's heard maybe, I don't know, then mention it. Okay, go ahead. And then, sorry, I have to look at my like notes because we have so many. I had like a list. I was like grilling him during that. But then I asked about the chief's number. And I was like, okay, then what's up with the directory? Because my friend called the number that's like mine. And an older man answered. Didn't sound like a chief. And he was like, you really called that guy. I was like, yes, because I want to know. Well, it turns out. long story short, it is the wrong number. The directory is out of date. And he even called the number. This is too much. No, I really think he is being genuine. I really do. So it's an out of date
Starting point is 01:23:13 directory. Yes. Okay, go ahead. Because he has a new directory and he was like, oh my gosh, I know this makes me sound stupid and now you won't believe me again. Okay. You're right. So far, so far we are not on his side. Keep going. Keep convincing. Abby is. And so then I was like, okay, then why would you actually need to send a picture to the chief. Why would he need a headshot? I've never heard of that. And he's like, well, I'm like switching positions within it. And the fire marshal needed it, and it's going to be on my new badge.
Starting point is 01:23:40 And I was like, okay. Well, I want to see that badge in the future. And they send it over text. They don't send it through an email. Why not? Like through a company email? I don't know. Okay, go ahead.
Starting point is 01:23:47 He did send it in the email after he accidentally sent it to me. It was the wrong number. All right. All right. What other answer? I'm trying to think. Those are the only, all the, that's all the notes. Okay, what about is he married? Does he have kids?
Starting point is 01:24:00 Oh, well, I know all this too. Okay, we had a, it was a 20 minutes of me interrogating him. And then I pha-time him again for like 45 minutes on Sunday and you took me on a tour of the fire station. Okay. No, is he married. Oh, he's not married. No, he is not married. Okay.
Starting point is 01:24:16 But he, so when did he get divorced? Oh, do you want me to say all that personal stuff? No, I guess it's personal. So we don't have to. I'm just sorry. I mean, he is actively dating right now. So. I don't believe the fire chief number thing.
Starting point is 01:24:28 So how can we prove this? We can't. Yeah, we can. Yeah, we can. Mike. The fire chief was this once your number before it went out of date? Called the current fire chief? Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 01:24:38 Mike D. Go ahead. If it's a personal number, you really can't prove that. What? That is his number or not? I don't understand what you're saying. What are we trying to prove here? You could call the fire chief at his current number and say, hey, did this used to be your number? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:52 Or was it a different fire chief? Yeah, that's something. Because member Mike looked up the name and you got the actual number. number, so I do know the actual number, but I really don't want to call the chief. I do. Abby, I think you're being scammed. No, I really don't. I do.
Starting point is 01:25:06 This guy knew who she was. It's not random. There's too many things that have happened. It's like everything there's a perfect answer for. This number got changed. It's at the wrong side. Maybe can he show a screenshot of the DMs that he got? Because I'm confused how he got DMs if we didn't ever say his name.
Starting point is 01:25:22 I guess it was when we were mentioning like his screen name. We didn't. We didn't. I said, look at this. this, this is funny. And Bobby said, oh, that's like a wrestler, but it's not the actual wrestler, so there's no way. And what wrestler is it? Abby, I'm telling you. Oh, come on. I really do think he is after talking to him. I was trying to read his face to see if he was lying. Let's take a vote here. Who thinks this is legit? I don't. I was for a second, especially if that fire chief number was a legitimate mix-up.
Starting point is 01:25:53 But it's not even the right number. Can I be half and half? No, I need it. What do you think? Because I want to believe it for Abby, but... I want to believe it for Abby, too, but I also want to protect her more than I want her to walk into a situation. Well, when you put it that way, I think we need to abort mission. I do, too. I would not pursue this farther. Too much is fishy. Red flags everywhere. It's like a stalk pond. Fish everywhere.
Starting point is 01:26:17 I know, but weird things like this happen to me all the time, and they are actually weird. Eddie? I mean, I can't. I can't. I was really wanted him to say, you know what? You caught me. Like, I did want to date you. my creative way of doing it. He's not even fessing up to that. I can't let her do this. There's no way people DMed him based on what they heard on this show.
Starting point is 01:26:35 There's no way. No chance. And if they did, we need to see the DM. There's no way, Amy. We've said nothing to make people know it's him. Morgan. Oh, yeah, there's red flags all over this. Like, I...
Starting point is 01:26:46 No, Abby. Oh, no. She phasedimed with him for 45 minutes. And then he showed her the fire station. Yeah, that was cool. The ambulance and all that. Ray? Yeah, I mean, sorry.
Starting point is 01:26:58 guys, my voice is being weird. It's not being weird. You went in a bachelor party all weekend and were irresponsible. You got way too spray tan. You were taking Instagram picture with every girl on Broadway. Anyways, what I'm going to say about this guy is he is a fraud. He got busted.
Starting point is 01:27:14 He was a little sneaky with getting her phone number on the internet, but we out investigated him and found out that he was lying, taking screen grabs, all that. Scoob, Steve, we haven't talked to you about this. What do you think is happening here? I have a theory that he is married with children. And this whole thing, he's trying to cheat on his wife with Abby.
Starting point is 01:27:31 That's my theory. I know it's a little dark, but I've been in that scenario, and I see some signs that my ex-wife would do. And this just kind of clicks, and I'm like, he's probably cheating on his wife with you. And by him being in that scenario, it was done too scuba Steve. Not Scoo was like, hey, I've done this before. Yeah, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 01:27:47 Yeah. That's what I felt like. Abby, you have six people on the show that care about you. That do care about you. I should probably listen to you guys. would say. You probably know. Yeah, but we know how this works and she's probably not going to listen to us right away. Or she's going to say she's listening to us, but she's really not going to listen to us. She's going to be FaceTime and on the side. I know. Well, I did say to him, I was like,
Starting point is 01:28:10 I just don't think at this time, like, we're too far away from each other. And I just don't think this could actually really be anything. We're in different places in our lives. So we could be like friends, catch up every now and then. But what about Instagram? I need to know that. Why were you blocked? I do not. He did not have an answer. He was like, Like, I've never blocked someone. Oh. But he said he doesn't even know how to block someone. Okay, dokey.
Starting point is 01:28:34 But did he? You know how to block somebody? You push the dots and you push block. Yeah. He's so convincing. I just can't believe someone would lie this many times, though. I just really can't believe it. I'm a pathological liar.
Starting point is 01:28:48 I didn't think I was that dumb. You're not. You're blinded by love. You're hopeful. And sometimes being hopeful removes the ability to see things clearly. Yeah, it happens to me all the time. Jason, are you still there in Savannah? Yes, sir. I am. You tell me what you think about this. You know, there's a lot of red flags in it, but like I was saying earlier, it took me almost 40 years to find the person that should have been
Starting point is 01:29:16 in my life the whole time. To make a long story short, I was in law enforcement for almost here. I was a deputy sheriff in a crime. We're just, he's just chopping out too much. Dang, I want to know his story. Maybe this is what happened to him, exactly this. So he's saying I have to wait 40 years. Well, until you're 40. Okay. Abby, it's up to you what you do.
Starting point is 01:29:41 You have six people. Not one person here believes them. When y'all last hung up from your last FaceTime hang, is there plans to talk again? There's no plans, but he texted me right after, and he's like, thanks for that. It was fun. Oh.
Starting point is 01:29:56 Like he wants to keep continuing. It was like he always talks to me all the time. What y'all do? Yeah, what was fun? We just talked. Thanks for that. That was fun. What?
Starting point is 01:30:06 I mean, it was, oh no. You don't have to define that. He was in the fire station. She took a tour of the fire station. Yeah, he was proud. I don't know. He was proud to show me around. Did he have coworkers around or just?
Starting point is 01:30:21 He did. And he was like in the bunk room and they walked in and I had to be like silent. He's like, shut up, shut up. tell anyone. Do you follow him on Instagram? No. Okay, so there's no way people could have found him. He got rid of it. He canceled. He got rid of his Instagram? Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 01:30:38 Abby, this guy is no good. What are we doing? I don't understand. He had like 350 followers before he got rid of it. But why did he get rid of it? He got rid of it. Abby. Why did he get rid of it, Abby? Scuba? He didn't get rid of it and I just pulled it up right now. Stop. It's right here on Instagram.
Starting point is 01:30:54 Oh, no. Oh, no. Now he lied again. Hold on. So he caught you. What? Okay. Oh, gosh. Scooba, what did you say? I said, you're blocked. You'd have no idea if he got rid of it or not. So he told you he got rid of it yet.
Starting point is 01:31:07 Oh, he changed the name. He changed the name on it. Let me see. Run, Abby, run. Well, don't give any hands. Wow, I almost said a word that would give it away. But wow, that was very crafty. Abby's still protecting him.
Starting point is 01:31:18 He's like, don't give any hints. Wow. I'm furious right now. Me too. I can't believe this. He changed his Instagram and told you he got rid of his. Because he didn't want anyone to find. him and message him again and calling him a creep.
Starting point is 01:31:30 But we never gave a single indication to how to find him. Some people can find out from small clues. No. I don't know that. I don't know that that's the case. I'm trying to think of sometimes I have a hard time finding friends on Instagram. Say it, Morgan. No, there's a, there's a, somebody made this comment on Facebook Live and I didn't
Starting point is 01:31:49 think about it until just now, but in the beginning he said he was sending the photo for the calendar, but now he's saying he needed it for his photo badge. Oh, he said it was for a campaign? He said for the website. Oh, yeah, he said for the website. And I did ask him, I said. Yeah, I was like, wait, you told me you wanted it for the website. And he's like, well, it's a long story.
Starting point is 01:32:06 I didn't want to tell you the whole story. Yeah. He's like, because I didn't know the story. He's talking back and forth too much. Like, there's no, like, realness in between there. I mean, this is making me mad. I'm scared. Abby, you're still defending him.
Starting point is 01:32:20 I don't know why. I get, wow. I don't know how I am because I just think that if you're looking someone in the eye, they're not going to lie. to you. You know, like he just... He has your number now, right, huh?
Starting point is 01:32:32 We need to get Abby a new phone. I have to change my number too. I'm getting too many calls. I got two calls this weekend where I answered it and they went after you, Bobby. What? What?
Starting point is 01:32:40 No. Who? It happens semi-regularly. What was the phone number? I'll stop doing that. Sometimes they threaten me. They're like, I'm going to kill you, F you and they hang up.
Starting point is 01:32:49 What is happening? Is it blocked or can you see who's doing? No caller ID. They'll no caller ID me. I've had the same number for yeah, a long time. To almost 20 years. I refuse to change.
Starting point is 01:32:59 Dang, dude. You and Abby should just switch. Great idea. Yeah. Yeah. Let me have a few minutes with this guy. I know. I wish.
Starting point is 01:33:10 Okay, Abby, listen, you do what you want to do, but you have, like, are you on this, too? He's a liar. Yeah, one, two, three, four, five. You have seven people who say the story doesn't check out. I'm glad he's kind of far away from us. I'd be super worried. Or is he? Now we can't trust him.
Starting point is 01:33:25 We don't know where he is. I know. Oh, well. That was just his Zoom background. He's walking. He's walking Abby around his Zoom background. He's like, here's the pole. Ray's telling me I got to wrap up.
Starting point is 01:33:36 Okay, thank you guys. Bobby Bone Show. Bonehead. Norrie up the day. Eddie is filling in for lunchbox. Well, there's a guy in Germany who decided to rob a kindergarten class. I guess there's a lot of valuable stuff in there. So he stole a laptop, a Bluetooth speaker, some pasta, fish sticks, things like that.
Starting point is 01:33:54 But what got him was he went. back and he started looking at the speakers like, this is cool and you can download some stories. So he went to the website of the speaker company downloaded stuff. But they're in the company, they're like, oh, the serial number has been flagged. Like, this speaker's been stolen. So they call the local authorities. They know exactly who it is. They bust the guy.
Starting point is 01:34:12 So you have to put in the serial number of the speaker in order to get. It's like downloading a story from it. And sure enough, it just related right. It went straight to the robber. Do you guys ever keep your serial numbers and stuff? No. They say you should. Well, they're like, always keep the serial numbers.
Starting point is 01:34:26 case it's stolen. Let me ask you this. Do you register your stuff? To what? Like whenever you buy something, it's like, register your item. No, but I guess this story's making me think I should. Exactly. That's what I'm thinking. Well, only until we hit the end of this clip and I'll never think about it again. Oh, that's true. That's how this happens. Well, yeah. That guy's a bonehead. He is, and that's your bonehead story of the day.
Starting point is 01:34:45 Let's go over to Benjamin, who's in New Mexico. Hey, Benjamin, what's happening? Hello, good morning. Joe. What's up, dude? Nothing much, nothing much. Just hanging out here in the morning. So I had a question. So I came across these drawings that belong, I guess, to the people that I picked them up from, I work for waste management, and I found them in a trash can after I came back to my service yard.
Starting point is 01:35:18 And I just wasn't sure if maybe they meant to throw them away or if they didn't mean to throw them away. because they were in like a cardboard roll that you keep blueprints in, and they're kept pretty nice. And I know where they live. I can return them, but I don't know if I should return them. If I shouldn't return them, my girlfriend thinks they're haunted. I just don't know what to do. Or they could be like banksie, banksies,
Starting point is 01:35:42 or they could be something that's worth a ton of money. It's one of the stories where we go, wow, found in the garbage. It was worth $20,000? I mean, I think if it was in the trash, it's now fair game. I mean, would you go for any other, would you take any other piece of trash back to somebody and knock on their door and say, hey, did you guys mean to throw this away? Yeah. Has that happened before?
Starting point is 01:36:00 That's very true. I just thought that they might have been valuable because they were named, dated, drawn out. I just wasn't sure if they were valuable either to the person who drew them or maybe they were valuable to somebody one day. Maybe they were saving them because there was a piece of a painting paper or canvas on top of them that was like a mess sheet and then those were underneath it. So I don't know if they took out the first piece and was like, oh, this is trash.
Starting point is 01:36:28 And then just put them in the garbage by accident. Well, if it's weighing on your conscience, I think you can go and leave a note and say, hey, I have some drawings. If you guys did not mean to throw them away, let me know. Or you can knock on the door. I don't know what the relationship is or how early in the morning you're going by their house.
Starting point is 01:36:44 Because I'm telling you, if you came by my house at like six in the morning and knocked on my door and I was asleep. or it just depends you know how much it's weighing on you otherwise they throw them away you keep them but I'm wondering did you say your girlfriend thinks they're haunted yeah especially after last night
Starting point is 01:37:02 we watched the insidious movie so she's really freaked out that I brought something home like some kind of entity within the drawings I don't know what insidious is or how that plays a part in the story scary things It's a horror movie And she believed that
Starting point is 01:37:21 Spirits can attach themselves to objects And they're very creepy drawings So That brought something home With the drawings And she wants me to get rid of them But I want to keep them Okay
Starting point is 01:37:36 Oh no To the people Okay here's what we do If you want to keep them Good I would leave a note to say hey, if you guys threw something away and you didn't mean to throw it away, I have some drawings. And they said, no, we don't want them.
Starting point is 01:37:51 Yeah. There's a ghost to touch to them. Well, why would we want them? Then they're now yours to keep. But it does sound like, again, it is actually affecting you going, okay, if I don't give them back, am I a bad person? Ask them if they say no, then keep them. Yeah. I would definitely go Bobby's route and leave a note.
Starting point is 01:38:07 Don't leave the prince. Because if they threw them out to get them out of their house because they're scared of them and they show back up on their porch, they're going to free out. And think it is a monster or a goat? They are haunted. They're like, oh, my gosh, how did these make their way back to me? Or you could just keep pranking and do it over and over and over again since you're running there. Okay, so take them back or go back, leave them notes.
Starting point is 01:38:26 Say, hey, if you guys didn't mean to throw these out, let me know. And then if they don't respond, they're now yours, okay? Perfect. I appreciate it. And I want to just say thank you to you guys because I've been a listener for about 13, 14 years now. And I love your guys' show. So I really appreciate the advice. All right, Benjamin.
Starting point is 01:38:44 Have a great day. See you soon. You too, sir. Thank you. All right, bye-bye. Thank you guys for hanging out. Let's go over and do the Good News Countdown. It's the Good News Countdown. Counting down the biggest good news stories across the lab.
Starting point is 01:39:00 Here we go. Number five. A guy in Kansas just got his wallet back after 50 years. And when missing in the early 70s, someone just turned it in. His driver's license was still inside. However, it expired in 1974. Wow. Well, yeah.
Starting point is 01:39:14 Yeah. That's funny. Number four. An 87-year-old woman called the police and said, hey, I'm lonely and I'm hungry. Two cops showed up at her home and cooked her dinner. They made her pasta and reminded her, hey, you're not alone. And we're here to help you.
Starting point is 01:39:29 That's cool. Number three. I don't know if I'm happier for the guy or as new wife. A 60-year-old truck driver in North Carolina named Michael Abernath. He got married on October 2nd. Then four days later, he hit a scratch-off ticket and hit it for a million bucks. If he did hit it four days before, that'd have been just his money. I like how you think.
Starting point is 01:39:51 Four days after, that's their money. Number two. There's an ongoing school bus driver shortage, so a dad in Columbus, Ohio, named Sean Rogers, Jr. took matters into his own hands, and he started taking kids to school in a stretched limo. Amazing. His dad owns a limousine service, so he borrowed one. He picked up 25 kids, took them all to school. And then on the next day, he took 42 kids to school.
