Starting point is 00:02:49 Hey guys, welcome to Thursday show. Morning studio. Morning. So this morning I wake up and obviously Caitlin is still asleep. when I wake up and I try to be really quiet and I go and Stanley has his own room. It's just a guest bedroom that his bed is in. Eller has like a part of the pantry that she stays in.
Starting point is 00:03:22 And because they didn't get along for a long time, they sleep in those rooms independently. They get along great now. We don't have to worry about them. So when I wake him in the morning, I do my little routine. I go, I let Stanley out of his room. I walk him outside. He used the bathroom. I then let Eller out. Open the dog door. she goes out, uses the bathroom.
Starting point is 00:03:42 And then Eller comes to hang out in the living room as I'm working. And by working, I'm looking at the news stories of the morning. I'm kind of gathering the materials for the show for the day. Mike D. and I are emailing back and forth. And Ella and Stanley are hanging out. I go into the bedroom where Caitlin is this morning. And I'm in there for a few minutes.
Starting point is 00:03:59 She's doing a little shave. And I hear Elear, wanting in the bedroom. But she don't get to come to the bedroom because she'll wait Caitlin up in the morning. Ew, ew, ew, ew. I'm like, okay, fine. I walk outside Ellar's upset that
Starting point is 00:04:11 I didn't let her in the room so she poops all over the house all over the living room which she's not a pooper but for sure she knew what she was doing right she was upset she had the chance to go outside she didn't choose to she couldn't
Starting point is 00:04:25 so she pooped all over the house and so I clean it up and I'm like bad dog but I'm having to do it quietly because Caitlin's asleep I'm like you're a bad dog what would you poop in the house and I think she's confused
Starting point is 00:04:37 but she's still acting a little weird and this is why this is my conclusion people say animals have like a five second memory I think that's bull crap because Ella was still acting weird like she had done something else that I didn't know about
Starting point is 00:04:51 and I'm working for like 20 minutes and I was like Ella come here and she'd like look at me and she wouldn't come over to me yeah and I was like Ella come here she wouldn't come over to me and so I went into the guest bedroom
Starting point is 00:05:00 she had pooped all in the guest bedroom so I just had found out of yes yes now you're Matt oh so she there's no chance that she had a five second memory. She knew I hadn't found all that poop yet. And she knew there was more to come.
Starting point is 00:05:14 And so I cleaned it up. And again, Caitlin's not waking up for a couple hours at this point. So I clean it all up. I put Ella in her room. She has the access to the whole yard. And I leave. Well, I took a picture of it to show Caitlin what I cleaned up because I wanted her to know. Look, here's what I did this morning.
Starting point is 00:05:33 And so I sent her a picture of all this poop. She goes, why do you send me this picture in the morning? I send her, that's what I sent her. That's what I sent her like five minutes ago. Look at all this poop I cleaned up. She was like, did you need to send this to me? I feel like that's, I need a little credit for that, right? Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:05:46 Let me ask you, when you all have kids and your baby has a dirty diaper and you change it, are you going to send her a pick and be like, look what I just did? Probably if it's not, because I will clean up poop all the time if she's there and sees it or if it's like, hey, but this was like bonus. It's like a bonus. I know exactly what you're talking about. You got to get credit. Okay.
Starting point is 00:06:02 Yeah. Like whenever I, like Amy, you're talking about the baby poop. Whenever I change the diaper, I leave it out in a bag, like out in the front steps so she knows like, oh look, Eddie changed the diaper, that's sweet. There's no telling what she's doing she never even tells me about that she doesn't need credit for it, but I feel like I need a credit this morning.
Starting point is 00:06:17 And the dog, and also the dog, I know, remember that she pooped in the other room too and wasn't fully comfortable with coming back and getting warm again. Oh, yeah, for sure. This is the story that Mike just pulled up. Dogs are actually on the higher end of the memory scale at about two minutes. On average, the memory span of an animal is 27 seconds,
Starting point is 00:06:34 meaning your dog is way higher. That's bull crap. There is no chance. I would come home with Stanley, and he had, back when he was pooping, he doesn't anymore, hours later, and he'd be like, I'm not even going over near you because I know what I did was wrong. You're just not going to convince me, that's the truth.
Starting point is 00:06:48 So they don't remember anything that happened like a year ago? Who knows? You can't prove that. You can't prove that they don't remember? Exactly. So how are you going to tell me that? Anyway, glad everybody's here. I'm good and awake this morning because I've been on poop control.
Starting point is 00:07:00 For a long time. I cannot wait for Monday's show. I know today we got a good show, but Monday's show we're going to have on a PhD that appraises, well, for us, Beanie Babies. I bought a bunch of Beanie Babies from Ray for $100. I've been giving them way to listeners. But I've been tipped off that some of them could be worth some real money. So we're going to get a PhD that appraises very valuable things, including Beanie babies on Monday's show. Amazing.
Starting point is 00:07:24 Tell me you're not excited. Come on, let's do this. It could be a sad day for Ray. It could. Let's just be honest. It could be a sad day for Ray. That being said, let's go over and open up the mailbag. You send an email and we read it on the air.
Starting point is 00:07:39 It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag, yeah. Good morning, Bobby Bones. Since Halloween is over, to me, that means it's time to break out the holiday decorations, and I just can't wait. I've already started unboxing stuff and was planning to start putting things out this week. That is until my husband caught me untangling Christmas lights. He got angry. insists it's way too early to start decorating for the holidays but i don't see any harm in bringing
Starting point is 00:08:07 christmas cheer a bit early he has forbidden me from putting anything up until mid-november wow but i think he's being a grinch what do you think am i jumping the gun on the holidays signed debby everybody in the room that has a microphone i'll say one two three and you say if you think she's jumping the gun on the holidays yes would mean she's jumping the gun she should relax No would mean Christmas away. Okay. One, two, three. Yes.
Starting point is 00:08:36 Okay, who said yes? Who said yes? I said yes. Why did you say yes? Because yeah, it's too early. You want to wait until after Thanksgiving is over. Then you can start doing it. Amy, what did you say?
Starting point is 00:08:44 I said no. Okay. Because I think it's totally fine. It's decorate away. Like we need. Christmas makes people happy. If it makes you happy, do it. Why would it bother him?
Starting point is 00:08:54 It's like 15 days early or 10. Who cares? I feel like it's a little early. If you both. Both can't agree on it. I don't think it's worth having a fight over as my point. Exactly. Exactly. So go ahead and do it. But there's going to be a fight because he obviously doesn't like it. But here's the thing. Is she making him help or can she just do it on her own? Because that's the deal breaker right there. If she wants to do it on her own, who cares? Okay, so you're saying that... I'm saying it's early for sure. But if she wants to put it up in the house and her do all the work, I'm good with it. This is why we talk about it. So here's what we're going to say to you, Debbie. Because I've been convinced.
Starting point is 00:09:30 Eddie just convinced me that maybe it's not too early, but you have to do it all yourself. There you go. Or you wait until when he said and he does most of it, or you help and you do it together. That's what I'm talking about. Generally, I feel like it's a little too early if I'm driving my house for there to be Christmas lights up.
Starting point is 00:09:45 Okay, so if she wants a little bit of help with the Christmas tree out of the attic, she has to do it on her own? She'll get it. That's going to go over well. Mid-November. Okay, yeah, this is a mess in the making. The whole thing's a mess in the making.
Starting point is 00:09:57 How bad does she want it? Yeah. How bad does she want it? Yeah, bad enough so where he can sleep in the non-Christmas house for a little bit or something. You don't feel like it's too early for Christmas lights to go up outside of houses? Absolutely not. And she's probably going to need to help. And you make memories when you do that kind of stuff together.
Starting point is 00:10:15 Especially in November. Mid-November. It's fine. It's only a few days. Here's what I would say. I have one question. I know we can't ask him, but does he watch football? Does he?
Starting point is 00:10:24 Probably. Does he watch it on Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday all day, Sunday night. Sunday night. Does he? Probably. So she's... You're assuming a lot of things. Go ahead. Well, I'm assuming that he can, you know, compromise and still be allowed to watch his football and
Starting point is 00:10:41 he can help her do her thing. It's like she holds that in her gut. Like she just waits for a reason to hate football. Amy does? Yeah. Like it must happen in your life. No, I mean, I just think it's like an unfair activity. You're very triggered.
Starting point is 00:10:51 Yeah, because we, I get some women like football, so I'm not trying to put it in a category. But generally speaking, women don't have a... hobby situation that lasts like that, that is on that schedule. Housewives, there's every city of housewives. Yeah. We're just talking about stuff on TV. The Bachelor, bachelor, daging. You're acting like there's a housewife season and every episode's good to watch.
Starting point is 00:11:13 It's not. Well, every game sucks too. But you, y'all don't care. I don't want to watch the Browns in Baltimore. You don't? We did, but we did, and we bet on it, and then we had to play her own fantasy. Okay. Here's what I say.
Starting point is 00:11:25 I feel like in my heart it's a little too early for Christmas. Okay. I said we get a little closer to Thanksgiving. I like to sometimes ask you how you would handle it. If Caitlin came to you and said, Bobby, Christmas is important to me, and I would like to do it now. And your reply was,
Starting point is 00:11:38 well, if you want to do it now, you can do it yourself. Okay, you meet Caitlin, go ahead. And I'm going to tell you what I'd really say. Okay, watch and learn, boys. Go ahead. Hey, you know, Halloween's past, like we're getting in the Christmas spirit now.
Starting point is 00:11:50 I would really, it would mean a lot to me if we could go ahead and get decorated for Christmas because that's a special time and I want all the joy and the festive. Well, let me stop you there.
Starting point is 00:11:59 Okay. And I know you would like this house to be full of Christmas. Yes, enjoy. So once you go, take a bubble bath and I'll do it all right now. Oh, yeah. See? That's what I'm talking about. That's exactly what you would do.
Starting point is 00:12:12 Right. Okay, Debbie. I don't know if we helped her, but good luck. But you know how we feel now about it all. You can email us anytime. I still think it's a little too early. Generally, at stores, houses. Yeah, but stores are decorated, by the way.
Starting point is 00:12:27 Okay, well, they should all shut down until Thanksgiving. Morgan, what's the email address? Mailbag at bobbybones.com. Okay, I'm convinced. Who cares? Put Christmas lights up. I'm all the way. Fine.
Starting point is 00:12:36 Fine. I would. All right, thank you, Debbie. That's the mailbag. We've got your email and we've read it on the air. Now it's about to close Bobby's mailbag. Yeah. You're taking your daughter to see Garth Brooks.
Starting point is 00:12:50 Yes. That's awesome. I know. I'm excited. Is she a Garth Brooks fan at all? No. No. She doesn't really know Garth Brooks music at all.
Starting point is 00:12:57 whatsoever. So we just thought it would be a fun girl night. What happened was I got invited to the show and then also we had just come off IHeart Country Festival and I was showing her videos from that. And she said, can I go next time? And I was like, oh, well, we can talk about it. We'll just see. Yeah, if you'd love to. She thought it looked so fun. And then I said, well, you know what? I was, there's a concert coming up. Like, you want to do a little girls night? We go to dinner together. And then we go to the show. And she said, yeah. And then I thought, okay, and now the problem is I want her to have a good time. So now I need to give her a crash course in
Starting point is 00:13:31 Garth Brooks. And by the way, for those that are new to the show, Amy's 14 year old daughter was adopted from Haiti, what, five years ago? It's four years in December. So she didn't grow up like us with Garth Brooks in her life. Right. And so, I mean, of course she's probably heard a song here and there, but it's not like
Starting point is 00:13:47 yes, she's been exposed to all this country music and she doesn't really listen to the radio. So I thought, well, she likes TikTok. So I pull up TikTok and I type in Garth Brooks into the search bar. And then all this content comes up. It's great.
Starting point is 00:14:01 It's content from people all across the world showing Garth Brooks concerts, singing their own covers of Garth songs, and we're flipping through. And then boom, she loves it because your face pops up. You know, TikTok just randomly curates stuff. And then boom, there you are with your top five Garth songs. So she got to watch that. And I thought, wow, thank you TikTok for helping me teach her about Garth.
Starting point is 00:14:22 Here are my top five Garth songs, by the way. From TikTok? From, well, my life. I mean, I put it on TikTok, because it's true. At number five, unanswered prayers. Ah! Ah, it scared me. At number five, unanswered...
Starting point is 00:14:34 Okay, unanswered prayers. Sometimes I think I... For unanswered prayers. At number four, a cover. Shameless? To make you feel my love. I'd go crawling down the eyes. There ain't nothing
Starting point is 00:15:01 Make you for my love He did that for Hope Floats the movie But that's originally a Bob Dylan song Nice Adele also did a great version of it Yeah Number three The dance
Starting point is 00:15:16 Our lives Our lives Are better left doom I believe in your TikTok video You were super passionate yelling at her Like not her But whoever's watching the screen
Starting point is 00:15:28 Saying people to get married and dance to this At their wedding You're missing the point First dance Whatever. Because we danced to Neon Moon when Ronnie Dunn sang it, but it wasn't our first dance. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:15:39 Does that make sense? Yes. We're in the backline. Number two, the river. Number two. Yes, I will sail my best until the river runs dry. And the best Garthbrook song of all time is... Number one.
Starting point is 00:15:56 If tomorrow never comes. If tomorrow never comes. Controversial pick, I'm like the only one who thinks this. That this is the best. We've always loved this song, so it's your list. It's my list. Yeah. Love it.
Starting point is 00:16:08 Can relate to it now. Oh, yeah. The day I always wanted to relate to it. I was like, man, this would be such a great feeling to have. But now, every night when she's asleep, I sing this to her. She has to do it. She can't prove, she can't, you know, say I'm lying because she's asleep. But every night she goes to sleep, I sing this to Caitlin.
Starting point is 00:16:23 So, well, that's fun. When's the show? The 18th? Yeah? I wonder if she's going to like it. I hope so. We're going to, I mean, she's already thinking about, restaurant she wants to go to before.
Starting point is 00:16:34 Well, that she'll like. Yes. I bet she does, because I took my kids to see the Beach Boys, like, they were all like 80 years old, and my kids loved it. So it'll be interesting if she likes it. It'll be a cool kid date. Yeah, I can get her review after it happens. Reminds me, Lunchbox took his kids to IHeart Country, and they were very well acting on the
Starting point is 00:16:53 plane on the way there. Yeah. But I didn't bring the same flight. I didn't fly back with you guys, and I heard it was the opposite on the way back. I was a little tough on the way back because they had a long weekend with granny and grandpa, so they were a little fussy and getting a little mad. And then also we had delays taking off. And then when we landed, there was a plane at our gates.
Starting point is 00:17:08 We're on the plane for an extra 20 minutes. And it's like, I want off the plane. I want off the plane. You or them? Them. Oh, okay. Sounds the same. Right.
Starting point is 00:17:15 I was like, oh, no, what do we do? What do we do? And I mean, I just, I was like, I don't know. And I was like, if you stop yelling, please, we can go. I don't want to go trick-or-treating. I'm like, okay. Like, I don't know what to do. Someone that flew a later flight, because we flew the early flight.
Starting point is 00:17:29 Because I was like, let's just get out of here. they were like, hey, you're glad you didn't fly the later flight because there were kids screaming the whole time. And then I was like, oh, yeah, yeah, they were like, there were lunchbox as a kid. Yeah, lower up, little rough. You know who's sitting right next to lunchbox sort of was Parker McCollum. I'm sure he was like, who are these kids?
Starting point is 00:17:45 Michael, stop. So it was you, Parker and the kids? Yeah. Oh, boy. But have you ever heard lunchbox talks to talk to his kids? Oh, it's hilarious. It's cute. Abby and I were, that's the one thing we were laughing about on the plane.
Starting point is 00:17:57 It's because he can't help but just kind of talk like them. I did that like baby talk Yes Sit down, it's okay The latest from Nashville and Hollywood Morgan number two's 30 Second Skinny Teneal Towns is releasing a new song on Friday Called Villain and Me
Starting point is 00:18:16 Here's a teaser she posted to Instagram Sunshine and a smiling face Sometimes I will like a mare It's easier that way Kenny Chesney loves getting to go on tour to connect with his fans. Being able to be at this place in my life and as somebody that really cares about the music and as somebody that loves being a songwriter and loves entertaining people with some of those songs that you were fortunate enough to create, this is one of the biggest blessings in the world.
Starting point is 00:18:52 And I think that when you get to connect like we do on the level that we've been doing it, it's really special. Thomas Wrett recalls bringing his daughter, Willa Gray, home to Nashville. You know, when I saw her get out of the car at the airport, It was just like a moment that I never forget because it's always like I kind of felt like we were going to raise her for the rest of her life in a hotel room in Uganda. And so to actually see her where we live in Nashville for the first time was a pretty special moment. And Morgan number two, that's your skinny. It's time for the good news with Amy.
Starting point is 00:19:21 Tell me something good. So Liam Sandborn is a six-year-old boy in Wisconsin, and he has had three different types of leukemia diagnosis. and I mean, that's rough for any six-year-old. But the community has rallied around him, and there's this Grace Coffee Company that decided to start to donate a portion of their sales to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society who's funding his treatments.
Starting point is 00:19:48 They raised $10,000. Not only that, he recently just got his life-saving bone marrow transplant. So shout out to all the bone marrow donators out there because that is not an easy process. And the fact that he got a match is super cool, too. Yeah, not an easy process as far as physically, you know, it hurts. Donating, yes. But then you're actually out a little bit too, right?
Starting point is 00:20:09 Yeah, and even signing up for it. Like, the matching part is huge. Like, my sister went through the process and, like, she, I think, has gotten, like, one phone call in all these years because you have to match. I forget about just signing up to match being a big part of it, too. You just think about how painful it is and how much it helps. That's a great story. That's what it's all about.
Starting point is 00:20:28 That was Tell Me Something Good. The conversation Eddie and I were having right before we came on the air was how old are we? And Ray goes, are you guys serious right now? I'm 41. So that would make me 42. Yes. Sometimes I forget how old I am too. It doesn't matter anymore.
Starting point is 00:20:45 Right. Like, I'm tapped out. Ray's excited when a birthday comes. We're not. How old are you, Ray? 36. Yeah, you'll get there. Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:20:53 Sometimes I have to think to myself, how old am I again? We just did that. We're going to play Elder versus Millennial. It's Eddie the oldest on our show. 42 years old versus Morgan number two the youngest. 28 years old. Let's meet the competitors. Up first.
Starting point is 00:21:09 He's a dad of four. The Hispanic who don't panic. He's a grill master where he flips meat with a pair of tongs. And sometimes he forgets to sing the words to raging idiot songs. Okay, that's true. It is producer ready, everybody. Yeah. His opponent, she runs all of our digital.
Starting point is 00:21:27 She's five foot tall, has long. blonde, hair, and has a somewhat secret boyfriend that she does not share. It's Morgan number two. Let's go. Eddie, here are your questions that Morgan will know the answer to. Okay. Who was the richest kid Disney actor in the 2000s? Disney kid actor.
Starting point is 00:21:56 The richest. The richest. Give me one of the Zach and Cody's. Well, I need one. Let's go with Zach. Incorrect. Morgan? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:22:15 This is very open-ended. It is. Pretty open. I mean, there's Shia LaBuff was a Disney Kid actor. There was Selena Gomez. Oh, well, there you go. I'm just... But Miley Cyrus also was.
Starting point is 00:22:30 I do think it was her, so I'm going to go Miley Cyrus. That's correct. Yay! Good job. Morgan with the steel there. Good job, Morgan. Eddie. Yep.
Starting point is 00:22:38 What social media platform was Sean Mee? Mendez discovered on. Here is a clip of Sean Mendez. I know I can treat you better than he can. What social media platform did he make his name? Oh gosh, that was TikTok. I remember that video. Okay, that's not right.
Starting point is 00:22:58 No, dang it. Okay. Morgan? The OG TikTok. It's Vine. Vine. What? The five second TikTok?
Starting point is 00:23:05 Yeah, six, I believe. In the game, released in 2009 called Angry Birds. Yes. Eddie, what color are the pigs? Green. Correct. Got one. Got one.
Starting point is 00:23:19 You got one. Let's go. Okay. Morgan, we're coming to you. Okay. These are questions that Eddie would know the answer to because they're older. Sweating to the oldies was a popular workout video series by what American TV personality. Here's a clip from one of his videos, the locomotion workout.
Starting point is 00:23:52 Morgan? A TV personality from the 80s? Gosh, Pat Benatar Who? Excuse me? Who, hold on, who did you say? And I think I said that wrong. Pat Benitart.
Starting point is 00:24:05 What did you say? I'm not, Yep. I'm not repeating that. That's incorrect. That's wrong. Pat Benetard is a singer. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:12 Eddie? Dude, I can't remember his name. What? Oh, my goodness. I know exactly what he looks like. He's small. Wow. And I think his last name is Simmons.

Starting point is 00:33:07 Yesterday's show, Amy was talking about walking into a public bathroom and a guy was coming out of the women's bathroom. Yes. He was embarrassed. It's coming out of a stall, yeah. And we were just going, okay, was he in there because he wanted to be around women peeing, or was he in there because it was an accident? But you say there was a big old sign that had a skirt on it.
Starting point is 00:33:23 Oh, you know, it was so obvious. This was the women's restroom. And, yes, I believed him because he looked embarrassed. His face was bright red. But was he embarrassed because he got caught. I don't know. So on the phone right now is Raoul, who is in Alabama and a semi-truck. Okay, here's what happened.
Starting point is 00:33:40 I'm originally from Marlola, Texas. I just moved to Tennessee. And all the Walmart. are built the same in Texas. The women's on the left, the man's on the right. Well, I stopped in Woodward, Oklahoma, and I had to go to the bathroom real bad. So I just made that right-hand turn like I always do,
Starting point is 00:33:56 into the bathroom, didn't even look. We got in this stall, I walked in there, and I saw no urinals. I guess that's different in Oklahoma. So I just different. Everybody sits down here. Yeah. So I walk in there, sit out,
Starting point is 00:34:09 because I really had to go, and I'm about to go, and I saw this person walk, and I like to see as their feet. And they had these old legs. lady heals. I said, what the heck is going on here? And I went, oh my Lord, no urinals. I'm in the more gross. I'm telling. I didn't know what to do. I was like, do I get out now? Do I wait until she leaves? Or what if I'm going to go in? And so if I like to say, screw it, I'm
Starting point is 00:34:36 run for it. So I ran out and the woman was walking in as I was walking out. And I said, I'm so sorry. I went into the wrong bathroom. So you're telling us there's a chance the guy just went into the wrong bathroom. Oh, yes. hilarious. Okay, well, I'm convinced that it could have been a possibility now that it wasn't just a dude pervin out. I know.
Starting point is 00:34:55 And then maybe the fact that he was in there for so long was because he, too, was debating, do I go now? When do I go? Do I wait for these girls to leave? But there was, I mean, it was a steady flow of people going into that bathroom. I like the fact that Raoul thought, well, in Oklahoma, maybe everybody sits down. Yeah, maybe you never know. You never know.
Starting point is 00:35:12 Hey, Ronald, thanks for the call. That's awesome, man. Hope you have a good day. All right, you too, guys. All right. See you later. I want to give you guys a heads up for a segment we're going to do later. We waited for Lunchbox to get back to do this segment.
Starting point is 00:35:24 We sat on it, which was hard to do because we sat for like a month. Lunchbox had a third baby. He took some time off. We said, hold this A-plus segment until he gets back because he needs to experience it live. Do you know what it is? No idea what you're talking about. Whenever you and Abby went to the Crater of Diamond State Park in Murphy's Borough, Arkansas. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:35:43 Oh, yeah. Don't even. While you looked, she looked. Which is illegal. It is not. She found some stuff and took it to an appraiser. Abby, will you come up to the microphone for a second? Yes.
Starting point is 00:35:55 It was a jewelry store. He was just a jewelry expert and they buy diamonds and, you know. She took what she found to the store and she brought in that conversation with the guy when he looked at her stuff. Wow. Let's go. So that's going to happen like 45 minutes or so.
Starting point is 00:36:11 Because your stuff was worth nothing. Worth nothing. And I'm already annoyed by this whole thing. We will do that. She went behind my back. At like 20 or 30 after next hour. Oh, my gosh. But you have like the guy telling you if you found anything worth any money at all.
Starting point is 00:36:26 Oh, yeah, I do. This was very hard to keep a secret. We've sat on this for a month. We're going to do it later today. So about 45 minutes away from that. Here's Amy's pile of stories. Christmas dinner in a can is coming this year. More accurately, it's soup from Heinz.
Starting point is 00:36:45 And it's got big chunks of turkey. Pigs and blankets, Brussels, Brussels, stuffing balls, and potatoes with a gravy and cranberry sauce. All in one soup? Yeah. Hmm. I think I need to hear this again laid out individually. Okay, there's a soup.
Starting point is 00:37:00 Yeah, and the sauce is a gravy cranberry concoction. In the soup again, list it out for me. Turkey, big chunks. I like that. Pigs and blankets. It'll be great. It's a hot dog's and bread. I like it.
Starting point is 00:37:12 I'm fine with that. Go ahead. Brussels. Fine. Stuffing balls? Okay. And potatoes. Okay, I'm into it.
Starting point is 00:37:19 When you first get it laid out there, you need to hear it again. But okay, I'm into it. I would try it, but I don't know that I would base my whole Christmas dinner around it as the main entree. Well, Hines is saying, look, Christmas dinners... Hines is saying whatever they say to sell. Covered. We got it. Christmas in a can. You don't even have to cook all the things.
Starting point is 00:37:35 We just serve this. They're making a limited amount this season, but if they get a good response from shoppers, then they'll roll out more next year. I would try it. What else you got? Dormant butt syndrome. Ever heard of that? I would imagine it's from sitting too much.
Starting point is 00:37:49 Exactly. It's when you're sitting in extreme conditions, such as work for like nine plus hours. They say that it can affect your knees, your hips, your back, and it all can go back to just sitting at your desk. And experts say you need to leave your desk two times every hour. How do you get to be an expert in that?
Starting point is 00:38:10 Desk leaving? But it's also like my back, I can feel a bit of my hunch, because I'm always hunched over my phone while walking. And I can feel like crack a little bit when I stand up straight. Like we're all developing some sort of neck back thing because we're always looking down at our phone. For sure. And so where's the expert on that?
Starting point is 00:38:27 Well, I'm sure there is. Maybe I'm the one. Maybe I'm the one. Yeah. So make sure when you're at work today, you get up and walk around so you don't get dormant butt syndrome. If you have an Apple Watch, sometimes it tells you. Stand. You need to get up.
Starting point is 00:38:39 That's why I took that thing off at work because I was tired of being notified. Oh, yeah. Well, you didn't like being told to breathe either. I don't be told to do anything. Let's be honest. Your Apple Watch is trying to be nice, being like, hey, take a few deep breaths. And Bobby's like, screw this. He doesn't know him.
Starting point is 00:38:52 I can't boss me around. All right, what else? So we've been talking about Travis Denning getting engaged to Madison Montgomery, which is John Michael Montgomery's daughter. And John Michael made a post on Facebook saying that he always hoped that his daughter would find this kind of love. And they are so happy. They're an amazing couple.
Starting point is 00:39:09 And then Travis shared a song that he wrote back in 2019 about the moment he realized Madison was the one. Like a Georgia July song. Pretty cool. That's really cool. Yeah, because he wrote that back in 2019, the moment he knew that he could see himself doing that for her. Getting down on an E and proposing. When he was on our show, his story was funny as he had the ring in his jacket pocket,
Starting point is 00:40:02 but he would never take his hand out of his jacket pocket because he didn't want to lose the ring. So he looked like the weirdo that wouldn't pull his hand out of his jacket pocket, like regardless of what they did. Ah, good for that guy. I love that guy. Congratulations to them. I made me. That's my pile. Amy's pile of stories.
Starting point is 00:40:17 It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Stay at home, it's something good. There was two women walking, pushing a baby stroller in Sacramento, walking down the road when some lady came up, shoved the two women, and grabbed the baby and the stroller. Start running down the street. Well, luckily, the owner of a local business saw it,
Starting point is 00:40:38 ran out, pushed the lady away, and protected the baby until police could arrive. Oh, wow. I mean, that's some quick thinking. Thank God that owner did that. Yeah, the owner of Express Smog Pros in Sacramento. You're a hero, dude. Express Smog pros.
Starting point is 00:40:53 Yeah, I don't know what that mean. I would imagine a car shop. Yeah, probably so. You know, some states don't have to do those emissions tests. Really? Lucky. I know I had to do one to get my Bronco. Well, one I used to have that I should be getting back anytime now, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:41:08 But they're like, there's no chances passes emissions. And we took it and it did not pass. And then listen from other states were going, you have to take emissions tests so I didn't get over to smog pro and let them look it up. Back in the day, people would hook up stuff all the time. Nowadays, laws.
Starting point is 00:41:24 They don't want to get in trouble and stuff. Oh, come on. And that is what it's all about. That was tell me something good. There's a story from a woman who was interviewed by Jeff Bezos, the Amazon guy, and he only asked her two questions in the job interview.
Starting point is 00:41:38 That's it. I'll tell you what those questions were in a second. You can try to answer them too. Oh, no. Okay. But it was just two questions for the entire interview. I'm glad you, as a person that has interviewed people before, would you ask these two questions? Maybe one of them. But we'll get to that.
Starting point is 00:41:53 Coming up in a second, we'll do that. Also, don't forget, Abby has the jewelry appraiser that's going to tell lunchbox how much her rocks are worth that she found at Crater of Diamond State Park. Yeah, illegally. We've set on this bit for a month. Illegally. Waiting for lunchbox to come back. Okay, now let's do some investigative morning corny. A morning corny.
Starting point is 00:42:17 What is a turkey's favorite dessert? 90 seconds on the clock. Go. Ice cream. Pumpkin pie. Turkey pie. Gobble. Gobble.
Starting point is 00:42:29 Gobble cake. Gobble. Peach gobbler. Peach gobbler. That's got to be it. No? Oh, she made a face by accident. She did a grimace like, that's a bad guess.
Starting point is 00:42:41 Oh, I thought it was a no-brainer. How did you get that so fast? And I try to read that. Peach gobbler. Gobbler. Peach Gobber. You're right, right. Has to be.
Starting point is 00:42:50 It's got to be a gobbler, right? This might be the fastest y'all have ever gotten it. Wait, so we did get it? So we got it. That's why I made a face. Oh, really? It's like, oh, dang. Sometimes I'll read her.
Starting point is 00:42:59 Okay, we're going to go with Peach Gobler. Well, yeah, now she said that. Okay, let's go. The morning corny. What is a turkey's favorite dessert? What is a turkey's favorite dessert? Peach Gobbler. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:14 Come on. Nice job. team effort right there. That's a team effort. Go ahead. Put your eyes. Full hearts. Can't lose. Good one, boys.
Starting point is 00:43:26 Lunchbox, what did you do here? So I called a church's chicken, which is a restaurant, but I acted like I was new to the area and I wanted to know what time the church service was. Church's chicken. Yeah, because it just says churches.
Starting point is 00:43:39 So when you look it up, so you think, oh, it's a church. And so I just called them up to see what time church was and what was going on with their congregation. Here we go. Yeah, I was just calling to see what time your Sunday worship service was. Which service? Yeah, Sunday worship. You know, what time do you guys do worship on Sunday?
Starting point is 00:43:58 This is not a church. This is a church's chicken. Like, and do I have to get dressed up? Do I need to wear a shirt and tie, or is it kind of a casual church? Sir, this is not a church. This is a chicken place. There's a fried chicken. Yeah, since I'm a visitor, will I be able to take communion? Okay. First of all, our lobby is closed. Not for the customer. Okay.
Starting point is 00:44:19 Only drive-thru is open. Okay, so I do drive-thru and you'll give me the communion and the drive-thru? Yes, sir. Okay, and are you the pastor or what's the name of the pastor so I can look him up? There's no such a pastor on this place. Yeah, I think you got the wrong number, sir. No, you're the church. I just moved like a mile down the street and I typed in church, and you're the first church.
Starting point is 00:44:38 Brother, this is a church's chicken place. It's a fried chicken place. It's a restaurant. This is not a church. Do you guys, like, does your church offer, like, child care, or do they say, in the... Oh, it's over it. There he goes.
Starting point is 00:44:51 This story is from Ann Hyatt at MSNBC. And so she was interviewed by Jeff Bezos for a job. She has 15 years' experience working as all of this stuff. And she was hired by Jeff Bezos. She worked as an assistant for him. But she lists the two questions that he asked her in a job interview. Okay. And I will ask them to you.
Starting point is 00:45:11 All right. She said he took a deep breath. He stood up. He uncapped a pin at a whiteboard and said, I want you to estimate the number of panes of glass in the city of Seattle. I don't, okay. How would you answer that, though? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:45:28 Pains of glass in the whole city of Seattle, is this like a trick question? I'm like trying to think, you know how something. If I'm Jeff Bezos and you're doing this, I'm not going to hire it. This is a trick question. Yeah, and I probably don't want to work for you if this is the stuff. Oh, wow. Why? Well, I mean, I do, but.
Starting point is 00:45:47 I don't, I guess I'm asking you. I'm not how I would actually be in the interview. Oh, but you're supposed to act like you're on the interview. Amy, how many panes of glass are there in the city of Seattle? Mr. Bezos? Okay, well, let's see how many buildings are there in the city of Seattle. How many homes, offices, people? Let me see if I can start counting.
Starting point is 00:46:17 I don't think he's going to move on to the second question with you. you. Okay. What she did was she said, okay, well, let's estimate the exact number of people in Seattle. Oh. And she went, okay, there's 1.2 million. I'm not sure if that number's right. She goes, well, then everybody has a house. Everybody has a car. So let's go ahead and do that times this. And they sat for hours and did it on a whiteboard. Whoa. She estimated buildings. And then she said some answer that was like, you know, 43,000. That's not the exact answer she gave. And he goes, I like how you thought. Don't know if that's true or not, but we'll go with it. Okay. Successful. But they stood on a whiteboard and did all that.
Starting point is 00:46:50 He wanted to see if she would break it down from the very beginning. Like take a huge problem and instead of trying to solve the problem on a macro scale, go, let's go to the bottom of this, start from the beginning, and, you know, toddler step it to the advanced mark. That's pretty cool. Didn't I kind of just do that saying, well, because I was like, I was trying to figure out if it was a riddle me this. Yeah, you kind of did that.
Starting point is 00:47:11 You said, is this a true question? And then I said, how many buildings? How many homes? The second question is, what are your career goals? to work for you, Mr. Bezos. I don't know. That's your answer. No, I would have a better answer, but I mean, yeah, those are two.
Starting point is 00:47:27 Why would you not have a better answer right now? We teased we were going to do this segment 10 minutes ago. We did. We just did, hey, we're going to do this. I'm going to ask you a couple interview questions. Yeah, but I didn't know what the questions were going to be. She didn't either. That was the point, right?
Starting point is 00:47:40 And her answer was, hey, listen, I see a lot of people, great people come from your company that are really smart, really strategic. And, like, I want to learn from them and learn from you. and see what my potential can. I'd be like, I use Amazon almost every day. That's it. I want that discount.
Starting point is 00:47:56 I want that Amazon discount. But those are the two questions that he asked. That's cool. What have you told him like, I want to make you rich? And he would say I'm already rich. I want to make you richer, Mr. Bezos.
Starting point is 00:48:06 Okay. No, they don't like that. If someone were to say that to me, I would say that, say that to me. I want to make you. Bones, I want to work for you so I can make you rich. You're only going to want that for so long. Like, unless you want something for
Starting point is 00:48:18 yourself for a deeper, more fundamental reason, you're not going to work hard for it. Totally. So after you get rich, I want to get rich. That's it. That's what you say. I want to get rich like you. That's what the answer is. No. No. No. There's a lot. Chasing money. If it doesn't go your way, you get tired and you try a new way to chase money. Yeah. So there you go. If you want to work for Jeff Bezos, those are your questions. So they spent several hours on the whiteboard. That's amazing. He's breaking it down. And then he goes, I don't know the answer either, but I like how we did this. Yeah. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:48:48 So they go on this trip a couple months ago, Lunchbox and Abby. They go to the Crater of Diamond State Park in Murphysboro, Arkansas. We read news stories all the time about how people are finding diamonds, just laying in the field worth millions of dollars. Heck, like two days after he came back, there was another story. That's right. Not from him, though. Not from me.
Starting point is 00:49:06 So while Lunchbox was taking a nap in the field... I did take it 30... I told Abby, hey, give me 30 minutes. She didn't tell me she didn't go digging. She said she was going to get some water. She went and searched for her. herself in that half an hour. She came back with some rocks. We've held this segment for a whole month until you got back. Are you ready to hear what happened? Abby, I am going to be very upset at you.
Starting point is 00:49:27 Like, you think I'm mean now? Just wait if you found out. Jeez. Okay, now I am nervous. She took her rocks to a jewelry store to have an expert, check them out. Who specializes in this. Here is the first clip. I found some rocks, like colorful type rocks, but in this small bag, it looks like diamonds. What I think actually could be diamonds. Some of these. Or just rocks. I picked them up outside when you walked in here. Oh, boo. What?
Starting point is 00:49:53 I didn't. However, those look like diamonds. Judging by the color of them, they definitely look like diamonds. If you want, we can actually test them. Really? Okay. That took a turn. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:50:06 Oh, my God. He thought she picks something up out of the parking lot. He goes, those looks like the ones out in the parking lot. That's funny. I don't like the end of that clip. Here is the next clip. So when you mean test it, what does that do? It's like a little machine type thing.
Starting point is 00:50:18 So it'll actually test the heat of the stone. So when it actually beeps, so you'll hear it like if I touch metal with it. So that's not a diamond. Okay. If I touch the rock with it, nothing. I'm gonna put it on with these that look like actual diamonds. Wait, I'm scared. Oh my gosh!
Starting point is 00:50:34 This is like the moment of truth. Oh shoot. Alright, let's see, here it goes. Nuh. You're messing with me. What? What? It's a diamond.
Starting point is 00:50:44 No way. No, they're not. Because I really was like, yeah. They look like diamonds, but I didn't think they would actually be diamonds. They are actually diamonds. What? There's no way! There's no way!
Starting point is 00:50:57 Yeah, yeah. So here... You have got to be kidding. This is so stupid. This is so stupid. Like, all she did was complain about this trip the whole time about how she didn't want to go. She didn't want to drive. I did not complain.
Starting point is 00:51:12 Excuse me? Yeah, you didn't complain? Oh, my gosh. I did not complain. He's adding that in. Here are the next steps and what this all means. Go ahead. From first glance before we weigh it, I mean, probably $8,000, $9,000.
Starting point is 00:51:24 So we can weigh it and see what it actually weighs. Weighing them, they actually, 1.13 carrots total. Is that good? No, that is not true. There is no room. Okay. She has $5.000. How do I go about selling?
Starting point is 00:51:42 Wait, do you buy it now? You're like, what happens? We can. So what do you do? Can you, like, set that in a ring? We can set that or we actually have, um, diamond cutters that would cut it and make it into what you see in a engagement ring or pendants and stuff like that yeah like you said if we were to sell them about right over
Starting point is 00:51:59 ten thousand dollars stop oh no no no i can't hear the clip you're yelling no i thought the clip was over we needed to stop the clip a long time ago when he said nine thousand dollars i just i can't it's real i like i can't but i still can't believe it's real so what are you going to do You're going to give me 50%. First of all, that's not part of it. You're not. You're not going to give her 50%. Yeah, because I'm the only reason she was there.
Starting point is 00:52:29 Okay, but you understand that, right? You wouldn't have got there. Had she not driven? You didn't have a driver license. I would have driven illegally. I am worried about that. You got to take, I don't know, I'm not getting any other percentage. So, Abby, what do you do next?
Starting point is 00:52:41 Okay, they're sitting in my safe at home, actually. You have a safe? I didn't. She doesn't out. Yeah, she spent $9,000 on it. Okay. I'm debating. I'm like, do I take the money or do I make earrings?
Starting point is 00:52:51 Like, what do I do? I mean, I'm proud. I would take it in and see how much they'll pay you for it and just take the money and run. Okay. That's what I would do. I wouldn't worry about any earrings. Would you buy $10,000 earrings yourself? No.
Starting point is 00:53:02 No. Well, what she could do, though, is you could cash in most of them. And if you want to keep one of the diamonds or whatever that you could do something with, have them cut it and make it pretty. And then you always have something to remember this moment by. Yes. I'd remember it with cold hard cash. I'll be honest with you.
Starting point is 00:53:17 That's how I'm going to remember it with money. Yeah. I can't believe it. Yeah. It's crazy. Abby, where in proximity to lunchbox and where he was digging, like, how did you end up with these diamonds? And he did not. I think he even said he went in there.
Starting point is 00:53:32 He must have not gone long. I went in this little tunnel, which is where kind of water goes through. That's the tunnel? I told you. Right when we got there and those people were in the tunnel, that's where you got them? Yes. I don't know why you didn't think they were in there. I went to sleep.
Starting point is 00:53:46 You snooze and lose, dude. Here's the thing. I've been digging for hours. She's just been chilling on her phone playing, you know, candy crush. Abby, look at you. Wow. Look at you. I'm rich. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University,

Starting point is 00:57:36 With producer Eddie. Tell me something good. Norman Ruff lives in a cottage in Ontario, Canada. He's 80 years old and he's sleeping with his wife, Norma. And he hears in the kitchen, something's coming through the kitchen window. So he wakes up, it's a black bear. And he's like, oh my gosh, he knew right away it was on.
Starting point is 00:57:56 The black bear sees Norman and gets on his hind legs. He's like, it's a fight. It was a 20-minute fight. 80-year-old Norman. What do you mean a fight? 80-year-old Norman, let me tell you. He got two punches in, wrestled with the bear. And as they were fighting, trying to get the bear out of the house, Norman opens the front door.
Starting point is 00:58:12 and slowly gets the bear to go out of the house. But he lost the thumb, but he ended up winning the fight. He did not die. 20 minutes in the house was a back there. Is that winning when you're 80, not dying? Yeah. Because there's no judge. Yes.
Starting point is 00:58:25 I mean, the bear is in your... Did he bit his thumb? It did bite his... That's how he lost it? He lost it, yes, in the fight. And so the bear's gone. He's happy. He's alive.
Starting point is 00:58:35 His wife's like, oh my gosh. My husband's amazing. And the city, they gave him a hero award. I heard that the bear's fighting Jake Paul next. The YouTuber guy What do they do with the bear? Just send them back In Canada they probably give them some food
Starting point is 00:58:49 He probably got a hero award from his birthday Yeah I went back and they did the whole thing You know I say that I can beat up a kangaroo And I stand by that You do say that And to every listener who sends me kangaroos Going could you beat this one up Well the ones you send me that are jagged
Starting point is 00:59:03 Probably not But random kangaroo I could fight and beat up But you can't pick which kangaroo you're going to fight Nor can someone pick the one for me So it's just if I ran into a kangaroo and it was like, let's throw down. I'm going to win that fight. I have no doubt about it.
Starting point is 00:59:16 This bear, I would not say I would beat up a bear. Right. Neither to Norman. So this guy's awesome. But he did beat it up. One thumb, Norm. Yeah, that's all about. All right, that's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Tomorrow morning, Walker Hayes will be in studio, so
Starting point is 00:59:32 it'd be good to see Walker. Because it's fancy like Applebee's on a date night. Yeah, we fancy like Applebee's on a date. I mean, I was kind of feeling our version, but Ray, whatever. Do you know the dance? No.
Starting point is 00:59:44 Oh, I do. I never do the dance. Dancing is not for me. Oh, okay. I know, and it's not. It's not. You're not going to see me dancing on TikTok really. Just not for me.
Starting point is 00:59:53 Yeah, I've never done it either, but just from watching other people do it so much, I feel like I have most of it. I feel like there's a standard on me now. Yes. Being a dance champion. I can't meet that standard because I'm not good. Oh. You know? I would have thought they would expect that from you on your socials because you're the champ.
Starting point is 01:00:07 Dancing with the Stars champion. They hope I don't dance. All right, news time. Let's go. Bobby's Big. Stories. The man who reported his car was stolen with a seven-year-old boy inside is in custody after detectives determined there was no child in the vehicle. James Reyes, 32, reported the child was inside the red Ford Mustang when it was stolen at 6.45 p.m. Sunday, apparently, to expedite the police response.
Starting point is 01:00:36 Oh, okay. Because if the kids in it, they're going to go get it quicker. They're going to work harder to get. Wow. And they will, right? Human life, car life. The Mustang and the 17-year-old car thief were found four hours later, about a half a mile from where the vehicle was stolen, which, by the way, is weird.
Starting point is 01:00:52 He had four hours, you got half a mile? In a Mustang? Police searched for a boy with special needs who was reported to have been inside the Mustang. The 17-year-old was like, I don't know what you're talking about. There was no boy in this carjacking. Cops are, like, there was never a kid involved. So he was now charged with filing a false report.
Starting point is 01:01:11 Oh, my. he must have love that car. Yeah. That's an extra commitment to go, my special needs kid is in the back of that car. I wonder if it'd be okay if he quickly said, like, all right, once the cops got there, like, all right, I just want to tell you I did this
Starting point is 01:01:23 so you can get here quicker. No, it's not okay. But I guess he never did. Admitting to it, lighter sentence. Right away. No. I don't know if your kids do that. Do they get right before punishment?
Starting point is 01:01:33 They go, oh, get a line! Yeah, no, they don't. Okay, that's the answer. Next story. Jeff Bezos offered Tom Hanks a chance to go to outer space. He said, hey, let's go. You can go with me. And if I'm Tom Hanks, I'm like, well, that's a nice invite.
Starting point is 01:01:45 I'd like to go for that. But then Jeff Bezos said that would be $28 million. Oh, my. Tom turned it down because it was too expensive. Here's a clip of Tom Hanks on Jimmy Kimmel. Well, yeah, provided I pay. You know, it costs like $28 million or something like that. I'm doing good, Jimmy.
Starting point is 01:02:02 I'm doing good. But I ain't paid $28. $28 million. $28 million. Fox is bringing back Joe Millionaire. back in the day I mean this is early reality television there was a show
Starting point is 01:02:16 good looking guy long black hair these women went to like basically a castle they tried to win his heart because they thought he was a millionaire turns out it wasn't I think he was like a plumber. It was average Joe yeah and so
Starting point is 01:02:29 that whole show was based on let's see how these women act when they think he's a millionaire versus how they act when they find out he's not so they're bringing it back but there is a wrinkle this time two guys will be the Joe Millionaire. One of them actually is a millionaire. One of them isn't.
Starting point is 01:02:45 Oh, and you won't know. And the women won't know which is which. I'm not even sure if we'll know which is which. But I didn't hate Joe Millionaire the first time it came around. They tried a second season, and I watched a little bit of it. I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. But it's called Joe Millionaire for richer or for poor, and there are two guys courting 20 women.
Starting point is 01:03:03 One is a millionaire, one is it, and the women don't know which is which. I mean, I'm going to watch. I mean, total garbage, right? I'm here for it. I'm here to just see the updates and watch the video clips. And finally, the armorer on that movie Rust, where the director was killed, the attorney is saying there could be on-set sabotage.
Starting point is 01:03:25 He has a theory that someone who was disgruntled wanted to prove a point by placing live rounds in the box of dummy rounds. Which is crazy. If that's the case, somebody's going to jail for a long time forever. Yeah, because I think whoever was in charge of that. She said, she opened up the gun, wheeled it around to see that there was nothing in there, and it was good to go. When she handed it off to the next person, it was good to go. And so she thinks someone planted a bullet. The clip that I'm going to play it's from the
Starting point is 01:03:57 Today Show, they talk about this. Is this the attorney or the girl in this clip? It's the attorney? Okay, I thought so, but wanted to make sure. Here you go. box into the handgun only later to find out there is a and she had no idea she inspected the rounds that there was a live round now we don't know however whether that live round came from that box we're assuming it did we're assuming somebody put the live round in that box I don't know if that's true or not if so big it's big regardless somebody died because somebody who didn't do their job.
Starting point is 01:04:39 Right. And there were multiple levels that it had to go through to get to that point. But if that's the case, that's like a new crime. Finally, Dwayne Johnson, the Rock, pledges to stop using real guns on his productions following the Rust tragedy. He said they're just going to use rubber guns and then fix it in post. He's like, we're just not going to deal with there being a chance of an accident like this happening.
Starting point is 01:05:01 So that's the news. Thank you very much. Those were Bobby's Big. Stories. I have a bottle of Jones special release turkey and gravy soda. Oh, my God. It looks like old beer. Dirty water is what it looks like to me.
Starting point is 01:05:21 Here it is. Oh, my goodness. So we're going to do one spin. Oh, no. If it lands on you, this is your bottle you have to the end of the hour to drink. Does anyone want to volunteer to drink it? No. No, and nothing ever good comes when this wheel comes in the store.
Starting point is 01:05:38 studio, it's just like... I think we were done with this wheel. Everybody's day just goes downhill. Oh, don't do that. I feel like I lose more than anybody else on the wheel. It's pretty close to me and you. I would say, me and you are pretty neck and neck on that wheel. I feel like they found the spots.
Starting point is 01:05:53 I know it's going to land. Right. And they're putting on me and you in those spots. I agree. I think we're on the same spots every time. Is that true? Why would we be? Well, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:06:04 Okay. You can watch this on our Facebook. Are we doing... One. One and done. Okay, thank goodness. Okay. You better not be saying, oh my goodness, you know. I just don't want to relive the spin. Like, hearing that spin, I have, like, traumatic stress.
Starting point is 01:06:22 Do you want to do a practice spin? Just one practice. No. I don't think we should waste it. No. No, just go. I'm not doing any of this. Just do it.
Starting point is 01:06:30 No, why did you do that? This one doesn't count, but this is the practice. Oh, my gosh. Oh, man. Who would have been? The person that would have lost. Oh, come on. Would have been Mike D.
Starting point is 01:06:40 Oh, wow. Let's count it. No, no practice, no practice. Let's count it. Are you ready? This one's a real one. Oh, no. Mike D, you're safe then.
Starting point is 01:06:48 You're good because it's not going to hit you twice in row. It never happens at Mike. We have a bottle. And on the bottle, you can see the liquid and it's like dirty yellow. But there's a big turkey and gravy. So is this like Coke, like a caffeine drink? It's carbonated. Yeah, like a soda pop.
Starting point is 01:07:04 Yeah. It looks awful. Okay, here we go. Let's spin that we. Ew. Oh, man. Oh, man. Hey, turn down.
Starting point is 01:07:12 I can't do the thing. That's right here. Oh. I can't even look. Oh, it's going. Amy, it's right on you. Lunch box. Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 01:07:23 Oh, my goodness. Yeah. Why does this wheel hate me? I told you guys, this wheel hates me. I mean, this is, I mean, and you watched it. We had it live up on the stream. Oh, my gosh. I'm going to smell it.
Starting point is 01:07:37 Oh, there's the carbon. oof. It's It's like. It's like if you were to reach in the back of your car and pick out a bottle and you realize oh, somebody peed in that. Oh, Craig, great. Yeah. That's what it's the feeling of when I smelled it. You expect to smell like pop coke. And it just smells off.
Starting point is 01:08:00 All right, buddy. Just give us that first drink. You can walk over there and have some of it. You can chug it if you want. But I'm curious at how it tastes. Jones Special Released, Turkey and Greene. Gravy soda. That is your name. All right, let's go. It has not been your day. Oh, it hasn't been my day. It never is my day. When is it gonna be my day? Here we go. He's smelling it. I'm just curious, it may not be that bad. I bet it's bad. Take a drink.
Starting point is 01:08:32 It could be Thanksgiving in a bottle. He's swallowing it. Oh, that's bad. Yeah. What on earth? What's that sound? sound. It tastes like cleaning fluid. Oh. Do you taste the turkey or the gravy?
Starting point is 01:08:50 No, it has a weird taste. I don't even know if it's... Cleaning fluid. Yeah, you know, like when you spray something like cleaning... Like when you clean the table with like Windex or something or window. With Windex, you can just taste it. He's not thinking straight bones. He's a second drink.
Starting point is 01:09:07 He has to drink that whole thing? Yeah, but no turkey flavor, no gravy. No, it's just something. No, I don't feel like it tastes like Thanksgiving? No. No. It's not put me in a good mood like, oh yeah, here's the turkey and gravy. That's not a good supplement for supply shortages. For what?
Starting point is 01:09:22 Well, people are worried about what they're going to serve on Thanksgiving. They just have a soda. Oh, this would be, yeah, it'll save the cooking a lot of time in the kitchen. Yeah, but if it doesn't taste like it, then. All right, you can go back to you, unless you're going to chug it. Do you want to try to knock it down? Chug, chug. Chug, chug, chug, chug, chug.
Starting point is 01:09:35 Chug, chug, chug, chug. Chug, chug, chug. Chug, chug. Chug, chug. Chug, chug, chug, chug, chug, chug. There we go, chug, chug, chug. Oh, he quit. Oh, weak.
Starting point is 01:09:43 Amy. Can't you open your throat up and just, like, send it down? No, I'm not good of chugging. Never been able to chug. You do shots all the time. No, I can do shots, but I can't, I've never been able to chug. I'm just telling you guys, I'm not a good chugger. Not even a beer?
Starting point is 01:09:56 Got to get down on the knee. Get down on a knee. Chug, chug, chug, chug, chug, chug, chug. Don't stop. Don't stop for you drink at all. Go. Don't stop. drink it all. There he goes. Do not come down. Do not come down. Go lunch box. Let's go.
Starting point is 01:10:10 Oh, boo. Wow. That was terrible. He's, I can't do it. Okay. Oh, you're gonna hear. I'm gonna put him a trash can. Well, usually what happens after that. Oh my goodness. I know that feeling. It's awful. Oh, God. Man. Can you do? People do this stuff. One more shot. Come on. You want me finishing it now? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:37 Chuck. Chuck. Chuck. Chuck. Chuck. Chuck. Chuck. He's like,
Starting point is 01:10:43 He's not going to do it. Joe. Joe. Joe. Amy's doubting you. Don't stop. Amy's down. Amy's down.
Starting point is 01:10:48 Let's go. Let's go on drugs. Let's go on the likes. That you almost got it. Good job, buddy. That's what you got to do is talk a little trash to him and then he'll do it. Don't hate Amy. This is great.
Starting point is 01:11:03 Oh. Okay. Okay. We're going to make people sick. All right, go sit down on your seat. I'm just telling you people, don't buy, don't, don't, don't. Oh. Stop.
Starting point is 01:11:16 That is so gross. Oh, I have like secondary vomit avenue myself. That was disgusting. Oh, no. He's leaned over the trash can. He's leaned over the trash can. Ew. Oh.
Starting point is 01:11:33 This is awful. What do you rate it? Brad. Three? A three? Out of five? I know out of ten. Oh.
Starting point is 01:11:44 Goodness gracious. No, not three out of five. We always do out of five. Okay. Well, why don't you throw them the trash and walk over to your seat? He's taking the trash can with them. Let me take this call. This is Danielle in Kansas.
Starting point is 01:11:58 Danielle, thank you for calling the Bobby Bone Show. Hi. Hi, Daniel. Hi, Bobby. Morning studio. Morning. Morning. Hey, I got to say, congratulations.
Starting point is 01:12:09 to Abby on her wonderful find. Yes. And this just goes to show you that karma will get you, lunchbox. You're so mean and awful. Come on, man. He tried to talk to you and he burr. He wanted to give her a hard time about, give him half. Well, look what happened.
Starting point is 01:12:28 He had to drink the turkey. So if you missed earlier in the show, Abby, our phone screener, who drove lunchbox to Arkansas to search for diamonds at the crater of Diamond State Park, who stayed at the hotel, the crappy hotel, went through all of it. When lunchbox fell asleep, Abby dug a little bit, and she found some stuff,
Starting point is 01:12:46 and she took it to a jeweler. Do we have the audio again, Ray? And if it beeps, it means there was a diamond in the rock. Here you go. We don't have to play this. So when you mean test it, what does that do?
Starting point is 01:12:56 It's like a little machine type thing? Yes, so it'll actually test the heat of the stone. So when it actually beeps, so you'll hear it like if I touch metal with it. So that's not a diamond. Okay. If I touch the rock with it, Nothing. I'm gonna put it on with these that look like actual diamonds.
Starting point is 01:13:12 Wait, I'm scared. I'm scared. Oh my gosh. This is like the moment of truth. Oh shoot. All right. Let's see. Here it goes. Nuh. You're messing with me. They're both diamonds. No, no they're not. Because I really was like, yeah, they look like diamonds. Well, I didn't think they would actually be diamonds. They are actually diamonds. So she found two small diamonds that they're saying could be between five and nine thousand dollars. Now not a million. But between $5,000 and $9,000 is what we're being told. When are we cashing these in? Scoobis, Dave, do we know?
Starting point is 01:13:43 She's going today after the show to get it checked out and get a final appraisal and hopefully get cash. So we should have an answer tomorrow or Monday. Crazy. I'm going with her. Why? I don't think you're going with her. No, I am. Just to what?
Starting point is 01:13:56 What? I need to verify and I need to talk to the guy. About what? Maybe I'm looking at my rocks. He's going to take his rocks back. You threw those in the trash? No, I got some in the other room. You going for a second opinion with the same rocks?
Starting point is 01:14:09 Yep. Do your rocks even look like her? Diamonds? Hey, not all diamonds look the same, right? I don't know. Didn't you have yours looked at, though? Yeah, at the park, but I mean, some lady in a hat sitting at a table, like, hey, welcome to the park, you know what I mean? It's like the welcome committee at Disneyland.
Starting point is 01:14:26 They don't know what they're doing. Abby, are you so excited? Yeah, like, I still can't believe it. How much money do you think you're going to get? I'll say like 9,000. I'm just going to guess. Oh my gosh. That's so weird.
Starting point is 01:14:39 If you get a, if they give you $1,000. Oh, even $1,000, that would be fine. Well, I still can't. I don't even, 9,000. That's a lot. Like, that's a lot. Yeah. So, like, 2,000.
Starting point is 01:14:52 I'd be happy with. Okay. All right, we'll find out tomorrow Monday. I mean, you guys know how to make my day so bad. So bad. Yeah, the wheel did that. Oh. The wheel hates me.
Starting point is 01:15:04 Right there and me again. It did land on an idea. Wow. Like, how is that possible? We're going to come back. We're going to take some calls. 877-77 Bobby. That's our phone number.
Starting point is 01:15:20 As Tiger King 2 is about to come out, Joe Exotic said he has an aggressive cancer that has returned. That it's spread to his pelvis and stomach, and he's hoping to get released from prison to get treatment. Do we know the rules on that? Or do they treat you in jail for the most part? I mean, I would assume. He's just tried every way to get out of jail. That's what sucks because I don't know if he's telling the truth. Right.
Starting point is 01:15:41 I mean. And you never want to doubt anybody, especially when they talk about cancer. But Joe Exotic has tried every way to get out of jail. And you're going, how. And the timing is also suspect with the new Tiger King coming out. And you wish it wasn't. And I feel terrible even saying that out loud. But when you read that story or when you heard the story, what did you think?
Starting point is 01:15:59 Oh, yeah. No, that definitely is the first thing that pops into my head. I believe him. I believe that he has cancer. It's just the time, I don't know. Didn't they mention, like, in the last show that he had some kind of cancer or he beat cancer or something? For some reason, the cancer sounds familiar to me with Joe Exotic. The letter said in part is with a sad face that I have to tell you that doctors called me today to break the news
Starting point is 01:16:23 that my prostate biopsy came back with an aggressive cancer. I'm still waiting on the results from the other test as well. Right now, I don't want anyone's pity. Wow. Well, I guess I believe them too. I believe them. Yeah. I do believe them because I don't think that's something you can laugh.
Starting point is 01:16:35 about being that famous of a person that they can't prove otherwise. Just the timing is hitting weird because the show is about to come out again. I don't believe the line he doesn't want our pity. He wants our pity. That's why he's putting it out there. He is currently serving a 22-year sentence in Texas and is expected to be resentenced after a court order in July. There is a chaotic brawl that breaks out on a Delta flight after a passenger objected to a man placing an item in his seat back pocket. Yeah, that ain't your pocket. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:07 How would you think that's okay? Passengers on the L.A. bound flight were delayed roughly 30 minutes after its scheduled takeoff as two men fought on the plane. That's crazy. Over a seat back pocket? If it's only 30 minutes in a delay, I'm there for that. I'd like to see that. I mean, yeah, they can make that up in the air. Yeah, if I'm being rerouted and we got to land, I don't want that to happen on my flight. But 30 minutes on the ground, that's probably going to happen anyway.
Starting point is 01:17:29 So what do you like? Let me put my phone in your pocket kind of thing. Curtis Maurice Clayton 30 from South Carolina, was arrested. Atlanta police said in a statement that he was uncooperative with police and damaged a police vehicle during the investigation.
Starting point is 01:17:41 What? I'm watching the video as I'm reading the story. It's great. Clayton was charged with battery and interference with government property. In cell phone footage,
Starting point is 01:17:49 a man in a black jacket can be seen punching a shorter man in a light blue hoodie. Flight attendants intervene. Passengers were delayed 30 minutes and I guess it was just all about that back pocket, the rubbery one that you stretch out with the redact.
Starting point is 01:18:04 And who was. actually owned it. Okay. Well, it's the one that's right in front of you. Yeah, it doesn't have to be your seat. You have your seat, but you have that seat's back pocket. Yes, that is your pocket. Whatever is right in front of you.
Starting point is 01:18:15 It couldn't be any clearer. People just want to go crazy on planes, though. I think this is the root of it. People get on a plane, they're a little antsy, they're already... So they're right on the edge already. And it just takes a little boop. But that's not your pocket. No.
Starting point is 01:18:31 Who would even think that's okay? Maybe his pocket was full and he's. was full and he needed extra space. Everybody's angry. Eddie's angry. Eddie is never angry. Never. But yesterday, I just felt something. It was like a feeling in my body that was like, I should be upset about this. Go ahead.
Starting point is 01:18:46 Well, yesterday you talked about taking all the boys to dinner. Not boys. The behind the scenes producers of the show. And that even makes me even more mad. We're going to dinner tonight. Me, Scuba Steve, Ramundo, and Mike D. The boys. Fancy dinner. And you use the word producers. I'm like, guys, I am the video producer of this show.
Starting point is 01:19:02 I mean, crap. My name is producer Eddie. Like, why am I not invited to this thing? You're in front of the scenes. Yeah. So don't call it a producer dinner. It's a behind the scenes producer dinner. Oh, see, take producer out of it.
Starting point is 01:19:14 But they're all producers behind the scenes. Right, but I'm a producer too, so I should go to the... Oh, my gosh. It's for people who... I actually don't know why I'm so upset about this. It's for people who don't get the recognition on the show because they're not front facing. Right, but because I'm front facing, I don't get the behind the scenes. I feel like I'm half and half front facing half back behind the scenes.
Starting point is 01:19:33 scenes. What do you do behind the scenes? Do all the videos right now. You make sure to let us know you do the videos every day. I'm going from me to you right now on the video while I'm talking to Bobby right now. I understand your name is pretty ready. But you are one of the main crew on air. Dang, I just want to go to dinner with you guys. It's not for that. It's to show appreciation of the people that don't get that appreciation screamed at them because people don't get to hear them often. Let me ask you this. Go ahead. Can I get my own dinner? What do you mean? Like in front of the scenes, behind the scenes dinner. where only I'm invited, you and me.
Starting point is 01:20:05 This isn't sound. We're coming to my house Sunday. Okay, let's call that a dinner and we'll talk about it. Like, oh, Eddie's appreciation dinner. You actually lost a bet, and that's why you're cooking Sunday at the house. That's a no win for me. So I'll be taking the guys out tonight. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:18 My wife has taken or going to dinner. I don't even know what their plan is with the wives of the behind the scenes producers. There's like some secondary situation going on. We'll have to drop her off at a different. Are you guys dropping your wives off too? Yep. The timing is the exact same. time, so I may be a minute late to our dinner.
Starting point is 01:20:35 Uh-oh. Well, that's okay. No. Door gets locked. That's right. Got to go home. Not there. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University,

And truck starts to go underwater. The shack starts to go underwater. He has to call police for help. And he got arrested for drunk driving.
Starting point is 01:24:43 Oh, there you go. I was going to say other than that, poor dude. Yeah, I was mostly not going bonehead, but going, oh, I feel sorry for him head. That's what I was going to say that one is. Wow. We went to, we were in Madison, Wisconsin. And you have to understand Eddie grew up in south of Texas. Oh yeah, the very tip of Texas.
Starting point is 01:25:00 I grew up in Arkansas. We didn't have frozen lakes. If we did, it was barely frozen because we had like three days where it was that cold. And they were like, hey, go out on the lake. Walk out there. It's completely frozen. People were out there. Their cars were out on the lake.
Starting point is 01:25:11 Yeah, they abandoned their cars. And I was like, eh, I'm not going to do it. And then Eddie just runs out on the middle of the lake. And was like, this is the craziest thing ever. I loved it. I was just waiting for him to fall through the ice. Like this dude, the bonehead? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:22 And me to be like, sorry, man. that's crazy that lake freezes and people go on top of it. It's so cool. I love it. All right. I'm Lunchbox. So a listener sent me this video because I was talking about that earlier. This kangaroo attacks a golfer. And at first, the golfer's like, I'm out of here. And he couldn't get away. So then he starts to beat it with a golf club But this kangaroos have none of that
Starting point is 01:25:57 This is a bad kangaroo Okay, well, that's what you could get Listen to the kangaroo and the sounds he makes during the attack You want a piece of that? Yeah, I think I could take a kangaroo Even after seeing that one I think I could take a camera But your fist, right?
Starting point is 01:26:17 This guy's got a golf club. You're doing fists. Mm-hmm. Oh boy. It was like growling. I didn't even know kangaroo's growled. Enough with the muscular kangaroo videos Because it's going to be random.
Starting point is 01:26:29 I'm not getting set up with the world's greatest kangaroo. It could be a baby kangaroo, I guess. No, no babies. We will see you tomorrow. Walker Hayes will be on tomorrow. Bye, everybody. Let's go. Bobby Bones.
