The Bobby Bones, post-show, pre-show.
All right.
Let me run a few clips from Amy's podcast,
which I thought were
Pretty good.
And not only that,
Amy was talking about it in my office morning.
She was like,
people really like my podcast this week.
Oh, yeah.
I can tell when I get good feedback,
and that makes me feel good
because it means something on there
resonated with them,
and I don't always get that.
Here is Amy doing a Q&A
with Bobo.
Hong Kong.
We got to get a honking noise
for as much as he's a guest
on these podcasts.
Ah, ooh, good.
His name's Adam Bobo.
Hong Kong, like a clown nose.
Bobo in Clown.
A listener asked a question
about sleep routines,
and here is him talking about wearing these blue tinted glasses.
I wear within about an hour and a half of going to sleep,
I put on a pair of blue light tinted glasses
that prep me for bed and also block blue light.
Blue light's been shown to decrease melatonin production by 23%.
And our most common thing we do at night
because there's not much else to do
other than stare at our phones,
and those things only decrease melatonin.
So he gave me a pair of glasses too.
He's like, where are these?
I have some too. I don't. I know. I need to be better at wearing them because there's something to it.
We'll do one more. Here's Bobo Hong Kong answering why you don't actually get quality sleep after a night of drinking.
And you don't sleep as well because your body temperature rises throughout the entire night because your liver is processing all that alcohol.
That sleep you're getting is pretty bad. Bad quality sleep.
And what is his job? He's a nestisist.
Well, he drinks an shti?
No, but he's a...
Is it career?
He's an anesthesiologist nurse.
Okay.
So, like, that's why he's really good at giving needles and IVs.
He gave me a needle last night.
Yeah.
So he used to work at hospitals all the time, and he kind of left that world.
But the anesthesia, and do you breathe that stuff?
No, anesthesiologist poke you.
Really?
Yeah.
They're the ones that put you under.
Yeah.
Like, they're the ones that you count to, like, three, and then you don't remember the rest.
Yeah, either by injection or gas.
Oh, yeah, that's right.
I remember rolling in when I busts my spleen.
I was a kid too.
And they were like, all right, countdown from 100.
And I was scared to death.
I was going into surgery.
And they rushed me into surgery, so it was all frantic.
And I remember going, 90.
Oh, and that's it.
Out.
That's crazy.
Out.
Because of that.
So check out four things with Amy Brown.
It is a wonderful podcast.
I think people like, the health stuff is fascinating to me.
Yeah.
I like that when you do it on yours.
Thanks.
Mike D. said he finished Big Little Lies, Season number two.
Ooh, what you think?
It's got a movie review or a TV show
review. I thought it was good, not great.
It's a little slow, very slow at the beginning.
I felt that way, too. Yeah. That was good.
But I haven't been intrigued
enough to go back to it. Wow, I was all in.
I know. But you didn't like the boys, and I don't
feel like you gave it a good shot. Eddie's wife love the boys.
Love the boys. We're still watching it. On Amazon.
Go y'all.
I don't think you hated it before. You were making fun of it
before we even started talking about it, though.
Okay. Amy, it's good. Well, you admit
you made fun of it before you even took a
dip. I just didn't think I would be
into it, so I've dipped twice. I,
with my husband twice.
Yeah, I feel like you're anti in your heart,
so you're anti and your fart.
Good rhyme.
There we go.
It's made up a thing there.
Hey, Ramundo, what happened with Eddie yesterday?
What was the big drama?
Why did he start cursing everybody out?
Yeah, so maybe it's at home.
Maybe he brings it to work with him.
But the show was over.
We were hours after the show here,
jacking around with some stuff.
And he needed a computer.
And we do have limited computers
that can log into this certain website.
We have to upload our store losers podcast.
So it makes sense, but Eddie got kicked off one computer because he didn't know the login.
So then he comes and gets on my computer.
Oh, it's one of those you're locked out now because you've logged in wrong.
So that was your fault?
Well, he just doesn't know the password or login.
So he's always going to be locked out.
And he comes on my computer, but Amy had to do her four things podcast that we just talked about.
And on my computer, you can't type and run Adobe, which is a program that records it.
So I said, Amy takes precedent because she already had the schedule.
She's got a phone call right now.
I go, so Amy's doing the phone call, you got to find another computer.
And he goes, I got to go find another computer.
And right at that moment, Hillary and our girl from New York, Elizabeth, Fazio goes,
I can actually help you upload it.
And he goes, no, they're not going to help me.
Nobody's going to help me.
F it.
And then left the room.
You hit him with the Eddie Snap.
I don't think I said F FIT.
Oh, you said FIT.
I was from multiple people.
Wait, but were you serious?
I was serious, but it's deeper than that.
It wasn't the computers or you taking the spot.
Do you want to know what the real problem is?
I don't know, do I?
I mean, it could start something.
Go ahead.
What's what happened?
I just feel like at the end of the day when we're doing all the Bobby Vone show stuff,
and then we do the Sour Loses podcast, I'm still stuck loading the podcast.
And I'm like, why am I the one doing this?
Like every day, there's someone who could do it.
Are you looking at lunchbox?
I mean, I'm just saying.
I mean, okay, if you want to get real, no, no, if you want to look at me.
It's your story first.
Go ahead.
So I just feel like this is going to get annoying.
This is already taking like 15 minutes of my time.
I'm like, why am I?
doing this? Like, why? And I'm just like,
F it. I'm out. You guys
load it. Okay, now you, are you
handing the stick over to lunchbox? Yes. So only
he's going to talk now and you're not getting interrupted him. Correct.
Okay, go ahead. Who puts the sore losers
together every single day? Who does every
single bit of prep work for the show?
Who? Oh, we don't know.
Oh, you're asking me. Eddie? Eddie?
You do. Okay, thank you.
So sorry that I would, you know, if you
upload it, you do the one thing
for the sore loser show instead of me doing
everything. Sorry.
If that's a problem, then I'll do it all.
So when you talk.
I mean...
Oh, can I talk now?
I thought he broke too.
So...
Dick is with Eddie now.
Yeah, so I mean, I don't...
At that point, I'm just saying, like, by the end of the day, I'm kind of like, I'm done, man.
We did 20 videos.
Like, we did the whole show.
We did the podcast.
And now I'm like, out of everyone, like, I've still got to deal with all this.
So I was just over it.
That's it.
Can I say, then?
Yeah, absolutely.
You have the stick.
Okay.
Given the information we've just been told, though, Eddie, do you feel like,
The amount of time it takes you to load the podcast is equivalent to the amount of time
Lunchbox spends prepping everyday show.
Probably about the same.
Before you answer, let me ask this question.
Are you, do you have the opportunity to prep the show?
No, I mean, I could at the night before.
You don't?
I don't.
I mean, I do come up with some stories.
Like, if there's a story I want to talk to, I say Lunchbox, I do want to talk about this.
And that's it.
Other than that, Lunchbox puts four stories that we talk about, and that's it.
How long does it take to upload a show?
I mean, it takes about 15 minutes once you upload it.
I spent way too much time listening to this.
Yeah, yeah, I know.
That's what I'm saying.
I mean, good thing this is on the real radio.
But that's the thing.
Like, I don't really say F it unless I'm really over it.
And you also sometimes, like Eddie snaps, lunchbox rages, Amy cries.
That's how all of you guys.
Yes, and you shut down.
Yeah, I'm just like, I don't have.
What do you mean I rage?
When you get angry, you turn into it.
Like, you just got angry around now.
Yes.
Well, I mean, it's just hilarious.
snaps, lunchbox goes raw on Incredible Hulk, and Amy cries.
It's just crazy to me that he thinks that I should do all the work.
Like, that's what's crazy to me.
Like, it blows my mind that he has such a problem with uploading it when I do everything else for the podcast.
Like, I just, it blows my mind.
Ramundo, you're the person over here.
You're part of this show.
Yeah, at the initial, when we all tip some glasses to a good podcast at the beginning of it all,
I said three a week, we do five.
the prep side, I realized from the get-go
lunch is going to take control. If I was going to take
control, if it was my show, I'd prep all
I wanted, but that doesn't matter. He controls
the topics, prep all you want.
Oh, so, okay, so it's like, even if you did the work,
even if I prepped a story, it's tough to get in
because his four are lock solid,
baby. No, wrong, wrong. You guys,
Ray, you have... Well, listen, you guys can take
this up on the show's losers.
Dad, Dad, Dad.
Hold on, no, no, no. There's plenty of room for you guys to submit stories.
I would love you guys to submit stories and ideas
and topics and games.
anything.
Is this supposed to be an equally bill?
It is because you guys, it's all equally.
Yeah.
Listen, handle your business kids.
I'm out of here.
Wait, but dad, what's your advice for them?
They need to handle their own bit.
They're a three-way split show.
They need to handle their own business.
And if they can't make it work, then they break up.
We're not breaking up.
They'll make it work.
Eff it.
I don't care.
That's the whole snap thing.
I snap and then I'm over it.
You need to just know your responsibilities and do them.
That's what I would say.
Yeah.
Make sure you.
And if you guys don't think you're being heard
in the show and his getting the show ready,
then you need to make that heard.
Yeah.
Because you are one-third equals.
Yeah, I agree.
So.
He likes to come back.
Lunchbox likes to come back a lot.
So he'd be like, Ray's busy, you know, like,
and like, we're all busy.
Ray's like really, really busy.
Yeah, but I mean, he's an equal too.
Okay, well.
I've never said anything.
What are you talking about?
I give Ray credit.
I get annoyed when Ray can't do it or whatever, you know, sometimes.
But Ray doesn't snap and say,
why do I have to upload it?
Why do I have to do this?
Is it just one time though?
Yeah, it's a one time thing.
It's not like a normal thing.
Nah.
Listen, I'm so over this conversation.
Okay.
Thanks, dude.
You never had a better promo for the sore losers podcast than right here.
Check it out.
Yeah.
You must have had a tough day too.
It was just a long day.
Yeah.
A long day.
At the end of it, you're just like, I just want to be done with today.
You know, as I do with this day.
So that was the end of the post show, pre show.
That's how we end it.
No. Come on. There's got to be an upbeat story.
Go live your lives. You guys need to figure out who's running that show.
All right, we'll figure that out today.
I mean, it's lunchbox. I mean, he's the sports genius.
There's a sports genius.
He's the sports genius. He calls himself the sports genius.
I mean, he is. He knows the most out of all of us, so he says.
But, you know, he's the leader of the show.
I think you guys should, if you're doing three shows, maybe Eddie, you prep one day.
have your show content.
Ray, if you're all equal,
you all share the duties and responsibilities.
Or then you're not all...
You're right.
All right.
Thank you.
Check out the sore losers' podcast.
It's really a good podcast.
We have a lot of fun doing it.
Sounds like it.
We do.
It's just at the end of it.
We're like, ah, we're done.
Here is today's show.
We'll get rocking with Friday, August 23rd.
Enjoy today's show.
Bye everybody.

Financial stress is one of the things that we don't always talk about, but it hits harder than we realize.
It's not just numbers in a bank account.
It's the anxiety that keeps you up at night.
It's the tension that it can create in relationships and that constant feeling of, am I doing enough?
There are moments where it's overwhelming, where no matter how hard you work, you feel like you just can't quite get ahead.
And what you learn is that stress isn't just financial.
It's emotional.
That's why it's important to check in with yourself because struggling and struggling with
money doesn't mean you fail.
It means you might need support in a different way.
Therapy can help you unpack the stress, the pressure, even the beliefs that you've carried
about money for years.
And with better help, you can get matched with a licensed therapist who fits your needs.
Plus, if it's not the right fit, you can switch at any time.
You don't have to carry the weight alone.
When life feels overwhelming, therapy can help.

Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let's go.
Transmitting across America.
This is the Bobby Bones show.
That's right.
Hey, welcome to Friday show.
We got a good one.
Vince Gill will be in in a little bit.
It's pretty exciting. I love that guy.
Let's go over. First of all, say, to everybody in the studio.
Morning studio.
Morning.
And let's talk to Devin.
It says Devin, parentheses, he's a boy in Pennsylvania.
Hey, Devin.
Hello. Hello.
I would have thought you were a boy. I thought Devin's a boy name, huh?
Yeah. Devin Dawson.
Yeah, Devin Sawa.
I don't know who that is.
Devin.
Devin. Degras. No, that's Devin Degras. Yeah.
I don't want to be anything.
Devin, what's up, bud?
Hello, I'm on my way to move in right now for school.
Yeah, and how can we help you as you do that?
I just wanted to call and see if you had any advice for me
because I'm starting my first year at the University of Pittsburgh.
Okay, we can do this. We'll go around the room.
Everybody passed Devin a piece of knowledge for his first day going to the dorm.
Amy, you're out first?
Well, it's your freshman year.
I feel like you want to like, of course I'm a girl, so I'm going to like the freshman 15.
I feel like you think you're going to be able to like go out and eat whatever you want and stay up late and do whatever.
But just don't do that. Don't do that to your body. Take care of it so that way you can focus in school and try to eat at home as much as possible.
Lunchbox?
Listen, I know you're nervous. You're scared. But don't forget to have fun. I know grades are important and doing all this.
but you still have to relax and have some fun, fun, fun.
Devin, my advice says you can lose a lot of ground your freshman year
because you're partying too hard because all of a sudden
you're exposed to a lot of things you weren't exposed to in high school
or even after high school a little bit.
So first of all, I would recommend you not getting 8 o'clock classes.
9 o'clock is probably about as early as I would go,
especially your first year.
I was good with them, but I would just kind of put your toe in the water
because you don't want to take a class you can't get to in the morning.
And also, I would just set aside what night you're actually going to go out and hit it hard and experience college because you've got to get to class.
If you fail some classes, or you drop out of a few classes, you'll be chasing your required credits your whole career.
You know, you need to get 15, 16 a semester to equal 30 to equal 1.
You know, it all starts adding up.
And if you miss a couple classes, and all of a sudden you're doing 18 the next semester.
You're doing 21.
So get your work done first and have a little time to have fun.
but make sure you get your work done.
So just focus on that because it's all going to be new to you.
Your eyeballs are going to be as wide as quarters, man.
You're like, oh, look at all these new experiences.
Experience one is going to class.
So that's what I would say to you.
Morgan number two, you were in college like yesterday.
What do you think?
I would say, like, have a smile on your face always and always talk to people.
Like, that is your way of meeting people your first year.
That's how you make friends, and that translates to all the rest of the years being good.
How you feel about that, Devin?
Uh, thank you.
Devon the dude.
Devin, that's about it.
I pulled up a bunch of famous Devons.
That's about Devin Sawah.
He was, uh, that's it.
That's all the Devons.
Devin Hester, he's played for the Bears.
Yep.
Yeah.
All right, Devin, have a good day, bud.
Thank you.
You guys, have a nice day, too.
All right, there is, Devin the boy, just like we knew.
Glad everybody's here.
We're going to play some easy listening country music in a bit.
We're going to, I'll play you a song.
It's easy listening, and you have to guess which
country song it is. Do you have one of those on deck?
Ramundo, here's an example. Ready?
Yeah. It feels like the holy ghost
Sundunga when I hit Highway FM.
That's Mirren Morris. My church.
Can I get a high?
We'll play that game coming up. Sound fun? I like it.
All right, let's get going here.
The Bobby Bones Show.
Big Three Stories.
All right, it's Friday, and Ramundo's got the news.
Ramundo, what you got over there?
In Montana, there was an extreme hailstorm after assessing the damage
official said he killed 11,000 pelicans
and ducks. In other news, thousands of people have been sharing incorrect photographs of the fires
and the Amazon rainforest on social media. Leo shared one on his Instagram, but unfortunately the
photo was taken in 2018 and not from the current fire, so just be careful of that. And finally,
at airports, you're going to start to hear TSA tell you about a star you need on your driver's license
within the next year. If you get the process started, just head your local DMV. Back to you,
Bones. All right, that's the news coming up. We'll do a couple things. First of all, I'm going on a little
trip, my own version of eat, pray, love.
Right.
And so I give you all one guess again.
You guys up for that?
Yeah.
You take a guess.
I haven't said where it is.
You can guess where I'm going.
If you get it, ding, ding, ding, you win the prize.
Okay.
Okay, we'll do that coming up.
Also, we're going to do the easy listening music game.
You know, that's about?
No.
Like songs.
Country songs as easy listening songs.
Oh, like an elevator.
Oh, nice.
Boom.
We got both that coming up.
Glad you're here.
The dance party, Vince Gill, Pack Show.
We'll be right back.
Bobby Bones
I'll play you the easy listening version of a country song.
Just name the song.
For example, this is my church from Marin Morris.
Everybody, welcome to the Jazz.
That's a new one from Mary Morris.
It's my church.
Take it away, Herbie.
Herbie Hancock.
So, let's play.
Write your answers down.
We'll give you about 20 seconds of each of the songs.
Here is song number one.
There you go.
I'm in for the win.
Let's go to Amy first.
Amy, can you name that song?
song.
Tequila.
Lunchbox.
Give me a shot of tequila.
Eddie.
That's tequila.
There you go.
Everybody gets it there.
Woo.
I like the violins.
Very nice.
All right.
Song number two.
This is the easy listening version of a country song.
Here we go.
My man for the win.
Tennessee whiskey.
Lunchbox.
Tennessee whiskey.
Eddie.
Tennessee whiskey.
You're all playing today.
Yeah.
It's early.
All right, number three, name this one. Classical, or easy listening country song. Go ahead.
Oh my gosh.
Amy?
I'm in for the way.
Thomas Rhett.
Lunchbox?
Thomas Wrett, now and later.
No.
Eddie, to take the lead.
Make me want to.
Oh.
I just took that one step further.
Let's go, boys.
Nice.
All right.
We go two left.
The next one.
Five seconds.
I'm in.
Burning House.
Lunchbox? Girl Crush.
Eddie?
Burning House.
You have it?
Yeah, I do have it.
That was tough, Amy.
Let me see.
Burning House.
I saw your riding, though, when I went to Amy.
Oh, he scratched it out when...
I'm going to have to not give it to you because you were still riding when I went to her.
No, that's not true.
Your pin was still moving when she answered.
I saw that with moan eyeballs.
Ow.
Yeah, even he had...
His pin was still riding whenever you answered.
Oh, Eddie, I'm sorry.
You want to make it a harder game?
Let's make it harder.
Speed round.
Yeah, baby.
Last one.
Yell your name if you know it.
Eddie.
Eddie.
Back home at Mamas.
Oh, so close.
Amy.
What did you say?
Back home at Mamas?
Back at Mamas.
No.
Meanwhile, back at Mamas.
We have a tie.
No.
We are two winners today.
Very good.
Ties like kissing Eddie.
On yesterday's show, I read a direct message that I sent to a girl.
Yes.
Now, I didn't slide in.
I was told to kind of climb in.
And so she.
knew it was coming. Yeah, one of my friends says, hey, I want to set you up with a friend of mine.
And I was like, ooh, setups don't go well for me, but I trust you. She goes, okay, send her a message.
She knows it's coming. So I send her a message. And I write the following, which, by the way, was ridiculed on the show heavily yesterday.
Yeah, we were critical about it. I wrote, hey, my friend so-and-so said you were cool. And she feels that I'm moderately below room temperature.
So she suggested I should reach out.
Uh-huh.
How are you? That's what I said. And then she responded. And I don't want to read her.
message on the air. It's not fair to her. But her response was to like exactly what temperature
are we talking about. All right. So she got the joke. She gets it then. You got it. Amy read it.
During the break, Amy read it. And she was like, oh my God, you guys just end up talking about
temperature for the next three messages. Because I'm like, ooh, what's your reply going to be? I know.
Yeah, what are you going to reply? 69. You're going to reply with, oh, geez. You can't. You can't.
You know my tip, baby.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
69.
You don't even have to say that.
You could just be like, well, somewhere between 68 and 70.
Now Amy's jumping in the 60s.
Oh, Amy, that's not bad.
I know, because it's like he's saying it about saying it.
That's not bad, Amy.
Oh, yeah.
Or just do the fire emoji.
Caliente.
No, he already said he's moderately cool.
Now I just got to shift away from that.
Like Amy said, you guys are just going to keep doing that for another week.
Listen, I'll hold on a joke for.
as long as they want. You know what? I got some good shoes.
You guys want to see my shoes? Yeah.
I got these, and I love shoes, but I got these slide-on vans.
Oh, dude, those are vintage, throwbacks.
Well, they're not. They're new shoes, and they're like 50 bucks,
and I love shoes that you can just slide on your feet and go to work.
Slide on your feet and go outside if you have to.
I don't have socks. I don't have socks on today.
Oh, I wear mine like that with little booty socks.
You do? Well, I mean, you can. But I just, I crave these kind of shoes at night. I'm just
I just want something to slide on my feet.
But these vans are pretty cool.
So I guess I would take a picture of them later and put them up.
People want to say it.
Like 50 bucks.
They're so cute.
Mike D wears them,
but he's like a skater.
Yeah.
Mike D.
Skateboards.
Mike D. How old are you?
I'm 28.
And you still skateboard?
Yeah.
Are there other 20?
I'm not hating it anyway.
Are there other 28-year-olds that skateboard around you?
Yeah, a little bit.
Yeah.
Mostly younger kids, but yeah.
Well, that's what I wondered if you go skating and there are other adult men out there.
I don't go skating with other people.
Oh, you don't?
No, I don't go to skate parks.
That'd be weird.
Mike Dio would put his phone down and, like, shoot himself skating.
It's pretty funny a watch.
I'm not hating, by the way.
I didn't feel like hate, right?
No.
I was just curious if other adult men see...
What if I skateboarded?
That's fine.
Does Kit Moore skateboard?
Yeah, he does, actually.
And rock climb.
And he looks cool when he does it.
Okay.
What, you can start skating?
No, I'll tear everything.
I have a friend who's from the West,
and she grew up like snow skiing and snowboarding and like to her that was life and she was like
hey when's the last time you went skiing i was like never she was like do you ever want to go i was like
well i mean i guess if i'm ready to volunteer my ACL and MCLs to be torn at this point in my life
to start at 39 i mean i think it'd be fun i think it'd be fun too i just never one if you don't grow up
around there i grew up in arkansas there was no snow skiing right and to do that you had it's kind of a rich
person thing if you weren't around that already.
So we never did that. And then I was like,
who wants to go somewhere cold for vacation?
I don't know. Ski trips are fun, though.
But I've never been on one. Right. I'm asking a question
in a bit of a bitter way because I was bitter. I wasn't
being invited or going. And then again, I don't want to be cold.
Oh, well, we invite you every Christmas
to go to Colorado.
I know. I never go.
You just bundle up. You can hit the bunny slope with the kids.
It probably would be great. Like, I would probably love it.
Yeah.
So, I'm going down the mountain and be like, I'm alive.
Boom, not anymore.
Now I'm dead.
Oh, yeah.
Glad everybody's here.
I'll put a picture on my shoes up if you guys want to see these vans.
They're not crazy new or crazy cool.
They're just a shoe that I found to be super comfortable.
And just throw on your feet and go.

There's a lot of new music out today.
Taylor Swift dropped a new song called Soon you'll get better,
and it's a collab with the Dixie Chicks.
Trisha Yearwood shared her collab with Garth Brooks.
It's called What Gave Me Away,
and it will be on her new album out on August 30th.
Cole Swindell has been teasing some earthy images, and today he dropped a new song called Down to Earth.
Jana Kramer shared a new song called Good Enough, and she says she hopes it empowers, strengthens, challenges, and encourages her fans.
We've got new country albums out today, Midlands Let It Roll, and Vince Giles Oki.
I'm Morgan number two. That's Your Skinny.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
So the worst is when you're out shopping with your kids and one of them decides to have
a meltdown, which is what happened to this one mom at Trader Joe's.
Her one-year-old son just went into full-blown tantrum mode.
And she was in the checkout line.
But what the Trader Joe's workers did is what's super cool.
They busted out into a little impromptu song and dance and totally cheered the little guy up.
They weren't just like, oh, ma'am, you know, handle your kid.
or they didn't just like sit back and watch it happen until she checked out and was gone.
They did something about it.
And I don't know.
The mom just said it made me feel great.
And to have people come and help you when you need it and like that way other customers in the grocery store aren't freaking out.
It's cool.
Do you relate to the kid?
I end up being a mom and your kid.
I mean, my kids have not really thrown tantrums, no.
Like my embarrassing kids at the store, like if we're at Trader Joe's or Target or whatever,
is now my son's really in to far.
and then blaming it on me.
So it was lunchbox.
To everybody.
And I'm like, stop doing that.
It's his favorite thing.
I was at a store the other day and a kid fell.
He's like one and a half.
Barely had a mustache, right?
I get the rage just confused.
And he fell and he was about to start crying.
And instinct, I started me on like a cat at him.
And instead of him being like, I'm hurting, he's like, what's happening?
And he didn't cry.
And the mom was like, you totally took his mind off of it.
And I was like, you're welcome.
And I walked off.
I was like meow!
And he was like, what is happening?
I was like, took his mind off the fall.
You're basically like these traitor jokes workers?
Yeah, I don't really know what was happening in my mind.
I just thought, how can I get the kid to stop thinking about being hurt?
Because I don't want to start crying.
Right.
Not for me.
I'm not for me.
I would have grouted him like, all right, just walk this way, son.
Well, I do think people looked at me weird, though, because I was meowing at a kid.
Because they didn't see him fall.
They just saw an adult man meowing at a young kid.
That's a good story, though.
That's what it's all about right there.
That was Tell Me Something Good.

Story of the day.
This story comes to us
from Massachusetts.
A man had a hornet's nest
at the top of his house
and he's like,
how can I get rid of it?
I got a Roman candle.
So he shoots one,
boom, misses.
Shot two misses.
Shot four.
Horns Ness goes up in flames, and so does the house.
All caught on video.
Oh, that had a couple directions that could go.
One, the hornets could have got them.
Yeah, that's definitely an issue.
You know, I might have rooted for that one over the house, catching a fire.
Also, it's so hard to shoot a Roman candle straight.
Yeah.
Many times we've been, as a kid, we had Roman candle, quote, unquote, fights.
Right, one person on one side of the yard.
You could never hit anyone because of the left.
It's like me peeing in the morning.
You just never know which directions.
it's going to go.
You're dumb.
And that's the truth, though.
You're like, all right, I wonder what's going to happen here.
The bowl on the floor on my feet.
See what happens.
So now there's a hole in the roof.
Yeah.
Well, there you have it.
Thank you, Lunchbox.
I'm Lunchbox.

At Bobby Bones Show.
Bobby Bones.
This is pretty cool.
Here's that good.
on This Day in Country Music.
The Bobby Bonds Show.
On this day in country music.
Today in 1952, the first woman to reach number one of the country charts.
Who do you think it was?
Oh, 1952?
I know.
Patsy Klein?
Good guess.
Kitty Wells.
With the song, it wasn't God who made Hong, Tom, Angel.
Yeah.
The number one, first number one country song by a woman ever.
Kitty Wells.
The song blamed unfaithful men for creating unfaithful women.
Became the first number one for a solo female artist.
Isn't that cool?
Yeah.
Pave the way for people like Dolly, Patsy Klein, Loretta, Lenn, Tammy Winette.
So that was pretty good.
It was actually a rebuttal to a Hank Thompson song,
The Wild Side of Life, which expresses regret to his bride to be
that's left him for another man who she met at a roadhouse saying,
I didn't know that God made honky-talk angels.
And her answer was, it wasn't God who made honky talk angels.
It wasn't God who made honky talk games.
Interesting, huh?
Love that.
First woman ever on this day and country music to have a number one right there.
That was.
On this day in country music.
I do want to mention this Lori Loughlin story.
When I say her, what do you think about, Amy?
Oh, college scandal.
Like, at first I was like full house, but, ooh, college.
So she's Aunt Becky on full house.
house and she's back in court next week for a hearing about this. She pleaded not guilty in April,
but if you've been watching the news at all, she's kind of had a change of heart. She had her
lawyers start negotiating with federal prosecutors. And this is what they're saying. Lori would accept
home confinement with a GPS ankle tag and she's willing to pay over $2 million. So basically,
she's offering to pay a $2 million stay out of jail fine. How do you feel about that? I don't know.
Not a lot of people that have,
people can't pay a $2 million fine,
but she has the money.
So I feel like that's not that big of a deal.
I don't know what she's worth,
but does $2 million hurt her?
Is that what you, see, I think,
wait, rich people can just pay themselves out of jail now?
Right.
And listen, a lot of times,
they're able to hire attorneys,
but you shouldn't be able to go,
you know what,
instead of just going to job
to pay $2 million.
Right.
It's not fair to everyone else.
She should go to jail,
then she should go to jail.
Yeah.
That's just not how life works.
But I guess it is.
Right.
Pay your way into college, pay your way out of this scandal.
She paid half a million dollars for her kids to get into school.
And then now she's offering $2 million as a stay out of jail fine.
Yeah, I just don't feel like that's going to stop rich people from doing stuff like that
because if they just have to pay a big fine, like, it's not, that's not that much money to some people.
I was looking at a story about celebrities too and a lot of the celebrities that had shared that
Instagram hoax where you put up that thing to go, Instagram cannot use my pictures.
Yeah.
And Amy asked me, she goes, is this real?
Yeah, I almost reposted it because some people that I follow were posting it.
And they're like, you know, better safe than sorry.
And I'm like, well, yeah, better safe than sorry.
But then I also don't want to be the person that posted it if it's like not real.
It's a block of text saying, hey, everyone, look at this.
Instagram does not have permission to use my pictures.
Here's the thing.
You signed up for Instagram.
You gave them permission to use it for whatever they want.
So you can put up whatever block of words.
But Amy's like, I'm going to post this.
And I was like, don't.
Yeah.
He saved me for me.
He saved me from being one of those people.
But did you see John Mayer's post?
It was funny.
I laughed out loud.
Yeah, he did like a parody of it.
Yeah, yeah.
That guy's funny.
He's like, actually, Instagram, you can post all my pictures except for.
Bobby boom.
Come on.
Foods you should never eat at work because of their smell.
What would you put on the list, Amy?
Hard-boiled eggs.
Eggs?
Does make the list.
Lunch box?
Tuna.
Ugh.
I'll take fish that, you know.
Survey says fish.
Eddie?
Onions.
Amy?
Garlic?
Probably not.
Probably too much of us.
You've been eliminated.
Lunchbox?
What else stinks?
Oh, broccoli.
Really?
That smells so bad.
Fish, broccoli, eggs, onions,
Eddie?
Curry?
Now I've got eliminated on that one.
You're going to take another shot at lunch?
Oh, Brussels sprouts.
No, it's tough.
now. Cabbage.
Oh yeah.
Cabbix smell bad?
Yeah.
If it's cooked.
Cheese.
She smells wonderful.
Some cheese can smell really thick.
Oh, right.
Right.
The fancy stuff.
They say fast food in general.
Quiznos.
That quiz nose does have its own waft.
Does it?
Yeah.
What is it?
The toasted bun?
It's probably the garlic.
It's the bread.
Amy, give up my garlic.
Like I can smell Quiznos from a mile away.
Yeah.
And then Subway, which I don't feel
Subway has the same kind of
Maybe the olives.
The olives are very like
strong odor of subway.
Don't eat those at work.
Hey, that's the more you know right there.
So that's what we do on this show.
We try to share with you the things that we know
so we can do with you the more you know.
Thank you.
Coming up, Amy's pile of stories.
Amy, what's over there?
Okay, so this mom punished her daughter
in a pretty unique way.
And I want to know every thought on it.
Do you like or no?
I don't know.
She's getting a lot of backlash,
but I'm like, well, I'm not.
saying what she did was right as a mom, but maybe the punishment is fine.
Okay.
Interesting.
We'll do that.
Coming up next.
Follow Bobby on Instagram.
At Mr. Bobby Bones.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
Fun fact Friday.
Fun fact Friday.
Love it.
What you got?
Bubble wrap was invented in 1957 as 3D wallpaper, but it failed.
People weren't into it.
Or they pop their walls.
Yeah.
You're done.
I'll be like, oh.
It's all day.
But that was its original...
It was originally why it was made.
All right, what else?
So Steve Jobs was scared of buttons, like the buttons on your shirt.
That's why he wore turtlenecks.
He said he doesn't like to look at buttons.
He doesn't like buttons touching his skin.
He doesn't even like knowing buttons are there.
He afraid they get caught in like the escalator?
I don't know.
Weird.
All right, what else?
Before beginning his movie career, Keanu Reeves.
Do you know what he did?
I mean, what did you?
He managed a pasta shop in Toronto.
Canada.
Oh, I knew he's Canadian.
I didn't know.
He's Canadian? Yeah.
I didn't know that.
That's why he's so nice.
Of course.
They're all so nice.
They're all so nice.
We went up once.
Mike D. and I did because we're on a bunch of Canadian affiliates.
Everybody was so kind.
Really?
We felt like we're about to get robbed.
You know how they trick you?
Like, come here, buddy.
Right.
You're being too nice.
Come here, brother.
Let me give you.
I'm like, all right, they're suckering us into something.
Yeah.
They're luring us.
And no, it was fantastic.
They were so nice.
Oh, what else?
So riding roller coasters can help you pass kidney stones by literally rattling the stones loose.
Some of those roller coasters, and I like roller coasters, those wooden ones though,
they shake so hard.
Yeah.
Oh, it's so motion sick from the shaking.
Like when you're waiting in line, you watch the shake.
Like, as the roller coaster goes by, like this whole thing's shaking, I don't know if I want to get on it.
Oh, I mean mostly like when it comes around a turn at the end and it just kind of shakes to stop.
Oh.
I don't like roller coasters, and I don't like heights or moving.
But I like upside down roller coasters a lot.
Really?
Yeah.
And an odd turn of events here.
All right, what else?
Okay, so the U.S. military supported the movie Independence Day
and even offered military costumes and props
until the film refused to eliminate mentions of Area 51.
At that point, the military withdrew all support.
Because the movie talked about Area 51, they said, oh, you don't.
Because there's truth.
We're all about this movie.
Yeah.
There's truth behind it.
There's something there.
I don't know that there are alien bodies in there.
I don't know that it has anything to do with aliens.
There's something there they don't want us to see.
or we would know.
And I bet we have listeners
that work there
and they just won't tell us.
Did you guys watch that
Area 51 documentary?
Uh-uh.
On Netflix?
I watched the first like five minutes
I fell asleep.
It's a great five minutes.
That's all I watched too.
And I was like,
boring.
Yeah.
All right, what else?
Okay, so done with fun facts.
Go ahead.
There's this mom
and she removed
her daughter's bedroom door
as punishment
after the teenager
hacked into her Instagram account
and deleted any photo
that she was in,
which I think,
as a parent, if you've got your kid on Instagram and they don't want to be on there,
you need to ask their permission like, hey, can I post this? Right. So the daughter is obviously
mad. Now how she handled it, she hacked into her mom's account and deleted the photos with
her. But then the mom, as punishment, removed her bedroom door. Boom. Yes, yes and yes.
So it's like, I guess I get where I wish they had just communicated about it because the
teenagers who just been like, hey, mom, can you delete the pictures with me of me? Because
I don't want to be on your Instagram.
And then the mom say, okay, it could have saved a lot of drama.
But now they're like being dubbed like the childish mom and daughter online.
And was that good punishment?
Like if your child hacks into your Instagram, can you remove their bedroom door?
First of all.
So that they have no privacy.
First of all.
I know that she didn't want to be on her mom's Instagram.
She's a teenager, right?
14.
And if she has her own Instagram and her pictures are already out there, you kind of can't dictate
whose Instagram you're on and once you're putting her up to.
Right.
Like I couldn't go to anybody like, take me off yours right now.
to hack in.
Nope, it's mine.
You can't do that.
So I don't even think
that the daughter was right
for being upset about it.
She can not want to be on there,
but she doesn't have the right
to go take me off your case.
Now, if she wanted to never be on Instagram,
that's a whole different story
between the mom and the daughter.
Yeah.
But you still can't hack it.
That's a federal crime
to hack into somebody stuff.
Serious.
I don't mind the mom taking the bedroom door off.
She's still the mom.
I love that.
She's like, you got into my privacy,
so I'm going to get into your privacy.
No bedroom door.
I'm okay.
I'm okay with it.
I guess the internet is saying
that it's more like the mom's trying to get revenge instead of do something that's like parenting.
That's still parenting.
I agree.
Like, I'll remove you test me, Stasier.
I'll remove your door.
By the way, I'm Bobby.
I'm not your daughter.
I know if she flipped.
Wow.
If she's listening.
Okay, okay.
I got you.
She's not.
But if she is.
You good?
I'm good.
Yeah, and that's my pile.
Coming up, Vince Gill, right here on the show, the Friday morning conversation,
about 20 minutes or so away from that.
So that's going to be awesome.
We got Morgan number two with the skinny.
We got Amy's Jen.
We got a lot to do here on the Bobby Bone Show.
This is the Bobby Bone Show.
Tell me something good.
This guy enlisted in the Army, but they were like, you can't get in the Army right now.
He's like, well, what's up?
Why not?
They go well because of this.
And then what he did was such a transformation to get into the Army.
I think you're going to like the story.
And Lunchbox has that coming up next.
Tell me something good.
Next on the Bobby Bone Show.
It's time for the good news.
With Lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
Raynaldo had always wanted to join the Army, so he goes.
He's 23 years old, meets it with a recruiter, turns in all his paperwork.
But he has to do something he hadn't done in 15 years.
He had to cut his hair.
He hadn't had a haircut in 15 years.
So he cut 150 inches off, donated to Locks of Love, and joined the Army.
I saw that.
It is dramatic, too.
He had, like, really long rocker hair.
150 inches?
Yeah.
really long hair and he cut it
it looks like a whole different human being
Wow
Face looks young
Yeah crazy
He did it so he could go in the military
Which is awesome love that
That's what's all about right there
That was tell me something good
The Bobby won't show
Alright Vince Gill in just a minute
But now let's go over to Amy
And get her morning corny
The morning corny
What happened when the skunk was on trial
What happened when the skunk was on trial
The judge declared odor in the court, odor in the court.
That's funny. That's funny. That's pretty good.
That was the morning corny.
All right, Vince Gill, coming in next, the Friday morning conversation here on the Bobby Bone Show.
The Friday morning conversation.
All right, Vince Gill is here. It's so good to see you, my friend.
Thanks, buddy. Good to see you, too.
I am going to read some of your resume here. I'm such a big fan. I know all this, but maybe there's some whippersnappers.
They're like nine that don't know this.
that don't get embarrassed.
Vince Gill has sold over 26 million albums.
Wow.
Yeah, exactly.
Has won 21 Grammy Awards.
The only country artist won a Grammy Award 10 consecutive years.
About year eight, are you going, I better win this thing.
I had no idea.
They told me that, and I didn't even know it.
He has the most Grammy wins for a male country artist.
I could keep going on this, but I know he'll get embarrassed.
I'll give me a nipple twist after the show if I'm not careful.
His own tour kicks off, and you'll be rolling.
through November, huh? Just out doing the new record?
Uh-huh. In between the Eagles shows,
I finished up six weeks in Europe with them
recently and go back out with them
and end of September and October
in Vegas. So I try to work in
between when they're not working.
You know what I want to do now? I have a Mount Rushmore
of your songs in my mind, like my four songs.
So if you were
to do a Mount Rushmore of your four songs, like
you get to put them up and everybody sees them for the rest of your life.
You've got four songs, Ben. What would you
put on your Mount Rushmore?
Well, first would be go rest high
on that mountain. And then one might be an obscure song on mine called Young Man's Town,
which I love. I love the message of that. When I call your name, probably, and maybe I still believe in you.
Come on. That one makes mine too. Hey, can I get my list up on the screen, Mike? I want to talk through
them slow. I made it. I set up all night last night going through your catalog, which I do every night,
but I actually wrote these four down, though. This is my Mount Rushmore of Vince Gill,
songs. It was tough. I did not put
Go Rest on the top. I'm outrush more.
You know why? Because
I'm dumb. Because when you said it, I was like, I should have
put it there. Yeah.
No, I don't know. It's, you know, the neat
thing about that song is I wrote it
for me. You know, I wrote it to grieve the loss of
my brother when he passed so many years ago.
But what that song has
then gone on to mean for other people,
you know, is astounding to me.
And I think I
choose it for everybody else,
maybe even more so than for me.
Well, I led with one more last chance because that's my jam
That's fun
That's fun
Turn this one up
Before you say we're through
Yeah, come on
You know I love it, baby
Is it jam Vince?
Come on
This don't make you smile
He's just laughing at me
You're trying to get him
Like, come on, Vince, you know you love your song?
I don't jam or dance
Oh man
Okay, that's my Mount Rushmore
of Vince Gil's songs
And then
I still believe in
I sing it like you too
Dude, that's good.
This is the one where I sing most like,
get a little higher.
I sing like a girl, so you got to give it up there.
That's how it's as I can go.
Turn this one up, Bramundo.
This is my second song on my Vince Gil, Mount Rushmore.
Do you remember recording big songs like this?
Yeah, you know, a really, I think for me,
a real interesting story about that song is it was not written as a ballad.
I remember I told Tony, I said, man, I think I want to do this song as a ballad.
And I remember John Jarvis's head.
He was thinking, first single, big hit, his head just hit the piano.
Album cut, deep album cut, if he's going to do it as a ballad.
But ballads were always the great thing for me, what people responded to most.
And it was a lucky guest and lucky change.
But we were trying to really emulate if I can't make you love with the production and that song.
And little did he know that it would be on Mount Rushmore.
If he had known that then, he'd probably have been like, this is great.
Yeah.
You're using a nice house because of that song.
I got two more.
I'm out of Rushmore.
Whenever you come around.
Okay.
Whenever you come around.
That would have to be, that would be 4.1, you know, in my top four.
Because this is my favorite song to sing every night when I play.
Because what it's written about, I wrote this song innocently about Amy Smile.
When I first met her years before we ever got married.
And her smile was.
was just so amazing to see,
and I've never seen anything like it.
It really took me down.
Let's do it together.
I'm a little sick right now.
I'll do the Barry White part.
I'll take that.
You can just breathe while I do it,
and I'm doing a duet with Vince Gill.
That's awesome.
Just breathe loudly.
I feel so helpless.
My final song, which I'm going to play here,
before I say my final Mount Rushmore song,
are there any songs that maybe you don't love to sing
as much as you used to because you're kind of over it?
Oh, I don't know about that.
You know, those years for me of wanting to have a familiar song,
it made me not ever be critical of having to do a certain song for the rest of my life.
I'm grateful for just about any song that ever showed up that did something.
Well, my goal was for you not to say my next song.
Which one is it?
Well, don't let our love start slipping.
Our love starts slipping away.
That's pretty fun.
Jam.
Jam.
I'm so good at singing these, too.
I'm so good at these, Ben.
You don't even know.
I'm occasionally funny, so maybe we can
swap roles every now and then.
Just be like, here he is, time jumpers, five bones.
And then I sing.
And then I'll bring you out on my comedy shows.
I'm going to have to lose about 80 pounds, though,
to make that work.
Stop it.
Hey, we're going to play one last chance right now.
Vince Gill is here.
Coming up, we're going to play,
Did Vince Gil Say It?
More with Vince, but first the song.
The Friday morning conversation with Vince Gill.
All right, we're going to play the game.
Did Vince Gill say it?
The whole game goes like this.
I'll read a quote,
and Vince has to say if he said it or not.
Okay, fun.
Vince Gill is here.
We'll play that game right after the break.
This is the Bobby Mawrown show.
On the Bobby Bones show now.
Vince Gill.
So what I will do is I will read you something
and you tell me if you said it yes or no.
I'm 62.
I don't have a chance to remember what the hell I said.
Did you say it?
Number one.
I do not like being famous.
I like being normal.
Yeah, I said that.
That is correct.
One point for Vince Gill.
Thank you.
Hey, Ramon, can I get Eddie's mic on, please?
Thank you.
All right, did Vince Gill say it?
Bobby Bones is one of the best things to happen to country music in the last 30 years.
I might have felt it, but, you know, I don't know if I've said it out loud.
That is correct.
You did not say it.
I made that up.
All right, good, good, good.
All right.
Did Vince Gill say it?
If you ain't first, you're last.
No.
Ricky Bobby said that.
That's correct.
Vince Gill did not say that.
How about this one?
Did you say it?
success is always temporary.
When all is said and done,
the only thing you'll have left is your character.
You asking me?
I'm asking you.
Did you say it?
Did you say it?
That is correct.
One more.
Let's do one more.
So far you've nailed it here.
Let's see.
That's good music right there.
This is your newest single, by the way.
This is his latest single.
Vince takes on the classics.
Vince goes to Prem Nevada.
How about this one here?
Did Vince Gil say it?
guitars are like women, you'll never get them totally right.
What?
Did, okay?
Amy, you can guess first, because Vince looks like he's puzzled if he may have thought this and not said it.
Guitars are like women, you'll never get them totally right.
Did Vince Gill say it?
Yes.
Okay.
Did you say it?
I might have to plead the fifth on this one.
Yeah.
Might catch some crap for this one.
Well, Slash said it.
Okay.
You did not.
So no, he did not say it.
But you're 100%.
Vince Gill is 100% on did Vince Gill say it.
Look at this.
Do you ever check your DMs on Instagram?
What's a DM?
Because I DM you all the time and you never wing out.
What's a DM?
Okay.
I'm serious.
I've never sent a text.
You never sent a text message?
I'm not of that social media mindset.
A text is just phone.
Well, yeah, it's still kind of typing.
I didn't like typing in schools.
I'm not going to do it on.
You've never texted?
Do you ever post your own pictures on Instagram?
I've never been on Instagram.
Because he has a lot of followers.
Well, I can't help that.
People, I guess, do that at the office.
I don't do it.
All right.
So it's not you rejecting me.
No, never.
I can do that.
I'm a pretty good, pretty easy guy.
My final question for you.
By the way, Vince Gill is here.
I've been talking about having a dinner party.
I feel like I need to adult myself up a bit.
If I had a dinner party, would you come?
Sure.
All right.
We're done here, folks.
You said it.
That's a verbal contract.
I will say if you go to that place where if you don't dress up nice enough,
you can't get in, I probably won't come.
That's right. House of Cards.
I won't go.
They wouldn't let me in.
Would they let you in, though?
That's the question.
Probably not.
What a bit.
Let's send Vince Gill
into overalls and no shirt underneath.
I'm like, I'm here for dinner.
What's you got?
Yeah, with like a corn cob.
The whole he-ha experience.
Like, you're showing up totally he-hawn up,
totally he-ha, Vince.
All right.
Listen.
We've had a great talk.
You know, I appreciate you.
I'm a huge fan.
Back at you.
Vince has a record called Oki.
I'm going to play a little bit of a letter to my mom
while we're sitting here.
and play the whole song for everybody.
Tell me about this one now.
Well, it's an old song I wrote with Dean Dillon about 18 years ago.
You wrote this 18 years ago?
Uh-huh.
And my sweet friend, Don Sears, who sang with me for over 20 years, 20, 25 years, something like that.
And she heard me sing this song somewhere, and she says, have you not recorded that song for your mom?
And I said, no, she was, well, promise me.
And she was six, she said, just promise me you'll sing that song before it's too late and record it.
So I got to record it for my mom, who's 93.
and, you know, it's just a song about being a little bit regretful for being young
and the mistakes you might make, you know, and I got to play it for, you know,
and it was pretty sweet, her response.
Was that emotional for you to play it for her?
Yeah, it was, just to watch her reaction and all that.
And she, the first time I played it for her, she had some headphones on,
and she didn't realize that we could hear everything she was saying.
She said some pretty hysterical.
stuff, which I can't tell you because it's not appropriate for radio.
She's a little salty with her language.
And so there's a line in the song about, you know, it says, I'm sorry I was selfish.
She chalked up to youth.
And she had her headphones on.
And she goes, you weren't selfish.
You were sweet.
She doesn't realize I can hear all this.
And then there's a line, two lines later that says, I'm sorry things didn't work out for you and my old man.
She started dog cussing him.
So it was really pretty.
cool, you know, to see an honest response.
I'm going to play that now. Vince Gill is here.
Oki is out. That's the record.
O-K-I-E, as in you're from Oklahoma.
Amen.
So I hope they hit you up on Instagram.
And check out Oakey.
Vince, it's good to see you, but thanks for hanging out with this.
There is Vince Gill, everybody.
All right, we're back.
This is the Bobby Bone Show.
It's a Bobby Bone Show.
Getting a lot of texts about the Vince Gill appearance here.
Bobby trying multiple times to convince Vince Gill to sing with him.
Sounds like me trying multiple times
To convince my wife to go to Chipotle
Respect
I was trying
Thanks for hanging out
Thanks to Vince for coming by
He's got new music out today
Coming up in the next segment
Somebody canceled something big in their life
We'll talk about that
It's happened
Somebody here?
Oh boy
Something big in somebody's life has been canceled
They'll reveal it on the show
In the next segment
And we'll go over our serial fantasy draft results
We've got a dance party in 30 minutes
So hang out
That's all coming up

So, Amy, what's going on?
Tell me about it.
Tell me about what?
You're not going to Haiti.
Oh, that cancellation.
Yes.
Yeah, we're not going.
It's just been too, too many things have come our way
where it's like, okay, it's just not a smart time
for Americans to go to Haiti.
I am bummed yet again.
It's like the third time we've canceled this year.
and I haven't been back in a year and a half.
It just seems selfish to go.
Your thought stuck into my head.
It's not like we're doctors
and we're going over there
doing life-saving work
and somebody needs us.
It's like we selfishly want to go
and check on things
that we work on down there
and we can keep in touch
with people from here.
And then hopefully it'll clear up
in a couple of months
and maybe we'll be able to go.
But yeah.
It's not going to clear up
in a couple of months.
No, it might.
I had a call yesterday and it might.
Amy's kids are from Haiti
and she was going to go back
to the orphanage there.
And you weren't taking them with you either, which was another reason I was going, you know, it's not that big of a deal if you wait.
Right.
And so now, I mean, and they would be fine in Haiti.
Honestly, the call I had yesterday was basically just if Americans were worried about, I'm worried about you and your safety as an American with the kidnappings and stuff like that.
Well, I'm sad that you can't go.
I know you were looking forward to it.
Well, and I figured you would pay my ransom.
Wow.
Would you?
Would you?
I mean, they're going to go high, right?
Yeah, I'd pay it.
I'd pay it.
I don't want to say that out loud because then someone here is going to abduct you.
Oh, that's true.
That's true.
Well, a kidnapping that went down this week, literally, that came up on the call was $100,000.
And I was like, dang.
So I was like, okay, called Delta.
And I was like, I think we're going to cancel our trip.
We'll call you back when we want to reschedule.
Well, I'm glad you're not going.
I know that's important to you.
That's where you found your kids.
It's in your heart.
Oh, 80s forever has my heart.
Like I will forever be involved in Haiti even if I have to do it from the computer in Nashville.
That's how I prefer to do it.
Yesterday's serial draft.
If you hit me with that draft music, we drafted our favorite cereals.
And the results have just been handed to me.
It was pretty close between lunchbox and Eddie.
It was?
Yeah, lunchbox ended up winning with Frost and Flakes, Captain Crunch and Apple Jacks.
And Amy, ooh, I'm sorry, you're in last place.
Oh, Amy.
It was so close, Amy.
You and Ray were neck and neck.
I mean, I was watching it all.
Amy had golden grams, O's and cocoa puffs, and you finished in the last place.
And what did Ray have again?
Fruity Pebbles, French toast crunch and life.
Wow.
Wow.
Wow.
He got, I love life and I was scared to put it because I thought it would make me lose, but wow.
So that puts, it's Lunchbox's second win.
So Morgan number two has four wins.
Lunchbox with two, Eddie with two, Amy with two.
Everybody has two.
Good.
Yeah.
Well, Ray, Moon,
was out on the board yet. Yeah, I'll get it. Don't worry. And the sucky thing is that separates
almost last in first place is Apple Jacks. My girlfriend told me to go with it and I went with
life. No, that wasn't the difference. Well, anyway, right, I'm glad you're still staying in the game.
It's your first time to stay in the game. Good for you. Yeah, I'm a dominant force and people
recognize that now. Yeah, first, we need dominant. Most of you haven't been eliminated in one match.
We were neck and neck for last place. The Frosted Flakes is what put me over the top,
right? Not the Apple Jacks. Coming up the Friday morning dance party in about 20 minutes.
or so. Also, we'll do Tell Me Something Good coming up next. A four-year-old boy can't be exposed to the
son because he has health issues, but all he wants to do is play outside. Up next, I'll tell you what make a
wish did for him, which is pretty cool. Okay. So there we have it. You good? Yeah. All right. We'll come back
and do Tell Me Something Good. Back in a second.
The Bobby Bones Show. The 2019 edition of What Women Want is out, where they talk to 68,000
women and they surveyed this study across the world one two three four five six things that women
want again 68,000 women so it's not like 10.
It's a lot.
In Iowa.
Right.
Right.
So it's like spread out.
It's a lot.
A sample.
Okay.
Let me know it's a heavy sample size.
Okay.
Can I get a drum roll please, Ramundo?
Some of the top ones are.
At number six, quality of friendships in their life.
Yeah.
It's very important to women.
All these are going to go, yeah, they all make sense.
Quality of friendships.
That's the number six.
Number four, they want a dude who is, or number five,
they want a dude who is smart.
Yeah.
Number four, supportiveness.
True.
They want someone who's very supportive.
Number three, financial stability.
Yes.
Weather from ourselves.
I mean, just.
No, they're looking for it.
Oh.
Yeah, what they're looking for.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. You want, yeah, yes.
I mean, I think that everybody wants that in somebody else.
Like, be stable financially.
Attractive body.
Sure.
I don't see a, my point is I don't see a dad bought on here.
Oh, no?
No.
I'm waiting for it.
You still have number one.
Yeah, number one's got to be dead.
The number one thing they look for in a partner is kindness.
Okay.
There's a lot of women.
Yeah.
Is that, it's only top five?
Yeah.
Six, top six.
Oh, six.
Yeah, you're about to go if you went six down.
Right, right.
In parentheses after.
I'm not even hating.
just those stories are so dumb.
The Dadbot stories?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Now, let's not waste 30 more minutes on this.
Yeah, I'm good.
Let's not.
Even though I still believe that...
I still believe that women like DadBot's.
So that's the deal there.
There was a Frontier Airlines
passenger at the Las Vegas airport and he punched the pilot.
Oh, gosh.
Vegas, a lot happens in Vegas.
Everywhere.
Like a little bit of too much drinking.
I was reading this last night.
a passenger on frontier airlines was detained by Las Vegas police after he punched a pilot
at the gate.
Authority said the man was at McCarran International Airport after crew members decided the passenger
was too intoxicated to board the flight.
They're like, you add too much a drink.
You can't come on.
You're going to be a problem in the air.
We can't have you up here.
So he's fighting with the crew and the pilot comes out and it's like, hey, hey, and they got
popped him.
I never punched anybody in the face.
Me either.
I don't know.
Like sometimes I punching gloves and it hurts.
I can't imagine punching with my.
bare fist.
I've heard it feels good.
What?
No.
Two to punch,
not,
not.
Even people that I know
that have five,
they're like,
don't punch in the,
it's not good.
Always hurts.
Yeah.
Makes sense.
Always hurts.
I will read you
the Dancing with the Stars
odds this season.
Okay.
Because last season,
I was the lowest picked.
I did talk,
I texted with Charna a little bit
last night.
She was like,
I don't know why I'm not coming back.
She was like,
is it because,
when was controversial?
Is it because,
well,
a couple other reasons.
Yeah,
so she was still
doesn't really know.
But I can read you the odds coming up in just a second.
But it's interesting.
I had a friend who put money on me, a lot of money,
and I was at terrible odds, and he made a lot of money last year.
I wish I would have followed his lead.
But I was like, don't do it.
That's like there's no way out.
So, yeah, we got a lot to do.
The dance party comes up in about 10 minutes as well.
So appreciate you guys hanging out.

With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
When Brody, a four-year-old Connecticut boy, was asked
what he wanted to come true.
His dream was, I just want to play outside.
Brody was born premature at 27 weeks
and faces medical conditions and medications
that caused him to overheat and burn easily,
meaning he can't spend any time outside.
When Make-A-Wish Connecticut heard about this,
They jumped into action.
Debbie Artanian, a make-a-wish organizer, said, okay, how can we create some temperature-controlled environment?
So they went and got this tent that can control the temperature, and now he's able to play outside and not actually be in the sun.
So that's what they do.
They put him out.
A beach scene, he loves the beach, and so he can't get in the water, but he's still able to go outside and play,
and it's all because these folks that volunteer kind of figured out when a step,
you know more with him.
Yeah, no, that's awesome.
So we could do some like play outside
that makes him happy.
So I saw that story.
I wanted to share it.
That's what it's all about right there.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
It's a Bobby Bones show.
Taylor's new album,
Lover, is out today.
So congratulations on that.
Saw people tweeting about that.
She did GMA yesterday.
It was a big deal.
She's opening the VMAs on Monday.
And, you know,
I checked out the Taylor album
because she had a song
with the Dixie Chicks.
And I was like,
let me see what this sounds like.
And so I listened to it.
pretty good. Is it about her mom, Morgan number two? Yeah, it's about her mom and her continued
battle with breast cancer. Yeah, I was listening and I was like, dang, this is deep. So I'm going to play it.
It's Taylor Swift and the Dixie Chicks. This is called Soon You'll Get Better here on the Bobby Bone
Show. Check it out.
Hey, glad everybody's here. We'll play Jason Aldeen, girl like you. Come back, grab some calls.
We'll do our new segment called What's the Haps, which is just, hey, what's happening? Or like,
what's going on? Or like, tell me about your life. We'll do what's the
The Haps coming up.
We'll read you the odds on dancing with the stars and where Lauren Elena is.
All coming up.
All right.
We'll go around the room and see what's happening with everybody.
This is called What's the Haps?
Hey.
Hey, what's the Haps?
Amy, what's the Haps?
So it's my friend's birthday this weekend.
So it's a perfect excuse to order my favorite birthday cake ever for Mamavuku Milk Bar.
And so we're going to be diving into some of that cake this weekend.
And I cannot wait.
Hey!
Hey!
What's the hats?
Lunchbox, what's the haps?
Man, I'm waiting for something to come in the mail, and it's an antenna from my cable company because I don't have ABC, so I haven't been able to watch all the shows live.
I have to wait a couple days until they're online, but they are sending me an antenna, and they gave me $10 off a month because they haven't been having ABC.
Amazing that Direc TV still doesn't have ABC.
It's crazy.
I would have dropped it.
I'm about to.
I
that's nuts
I can't believe they still haven't negotiated
whatever it is
and aren't they now saying
that they may not have NBC
Oh don't do that
Are you serious?
I think so
I mean I'll have to go
I don't know where else you go to
Because other people
I don't have things right
Or is it?
No, all I know is it's
Direct TV that doesn't have
one of the networks
All right
Comcast call me
Oh you want them to call you
Yeah
All right
That's what the haves
Hey
What's the hat
Producer Eddie?
So there's a rumor going around that Waterburger may be coming to Nashville.
I don't know how true it is, but there is a petition on change.org.
And so I'm signing it.
We want Waterberger to come to Nashville.
And if it does, I mean, I'm going to be so excited.
Go, hey.
Hey.
What's the Haps?
Morgan number two, what's the Haps?
Well, I bought a bunch of stuff for my house, and my parents are coming into town,
and my dad's is going to hang it all up for me.
And I'm really excited to finally get it all on the walls.
Do your parents stay with you at your house?
Yeah.
Or do they stay in a hotel?
Yeah, no, they stay with me now that I have a spare bedroom and everything.
So, yeah, he's going to be my little handyman for the time being.
Do you go out and party when your parents are here?
Do you, like, go out like you do and then come home just whee?
Oh, no.
If I go out, I'll go out with them.
Is it genetic?
Do your parents come home with that?
You all go out.
No, my parents actually don't drink.
Really?
Ever?
Yeah, like once a year maybe for like an event, but no, they really don't drink.
Thank you, Morgan number two.
Hey!
What's the hat?
Oh, that's cool.
We all do it.
Like when I start, you guys just jump in.
Hey.
I'll do me.
My dog is going away for a few days to do training camp.
NFL does training camp.
Military goes away and trains.
My dog is going to head off.
And he'll come back in a few days and probably be trained up.
Probably salute.
That'd be great.
I do all kinds of stuff.
I just got to stop it from chewing.
And the guys, he's known as like the dog genie or something.
Yeah, I hope it goes well.
If it does, it might be sending a car to camp.
Yeah.
Which is Amy's dog.
by the way.
Right.
Yeah, yeah.
I also, what's the haps is,
I had to get like a B-12 shot and a half to,
but I was feeling like kind of bleh.
So I got a B-12 shot.
And I put a Band-Aid on,
and, you know, I get spray tans, right?
No, no way it's hiding anything.
And it took a root.
I got a spray tan.
Took up my band-a-bendip.
Oh, man.
Hey.
Hey, what's the hats?
All right, that's what's the haps.
Thank you.
I was reading the odds for Dancing with the Stars this next season.
If you remember last season, I was in dead last place.
And so the little man can win it, for sure.
The favorite is Ray Lewis, the football player.
And I really wanted to see where Lauren Atlanta fell.
And she falls right in the middle at 7 to 1.
She's somebody who I, at 7 to 1, I'd put some money on.
Yeah, that's good money.
Because she's a hard worker.
She's a hard worker.
She's got the backing of us.
She got the backing of her idol fans.
She's great on TV.
And I think I did that all in order.
I think her being great on TV is going to be first for her
because she's so funny.
So, yeah.
Ray Lewis first, James Vanderbeek, second.
Karamo from Queer Eye 3.
Ali Brooke from...
He's from a girl group?
What group is she from?
Fifth harmony.
So she's the one good ringer dancer they brought in.
They may have to let a ringer dancer win this season
because it's the opposite one last season.
Oh.
I remember that.
Wompwom.
Yeah.
Kel Mitchell, then Lauren, Elena.
In the last place is Sean Spicer.
So he's at 50 to 1.
To win it off.
That's where you were.
Well, I wasn't, yeah, for sure.
Kate Flannery from the office is one of the, she's older,
so it's harder for people that are older to keep up with the regiment of training,
so I think that's why they're at the bottom.
So I saw that.
I did hear Lauren, this is a clip of her on Entertainment Tonight.
Well, I did the show last year.
I performed, I sang for the show, and I, like, fell in love with it.
The performing and dancing are different ball games.
Yeah, well, I don't know how to dance,
so I don't know why I agreed to it, really.
So there's Lauren Atlanta talking about that.
Here's another clip.
Bobby and I are really good friends.
And I called her and I was like, Bobby, I don't know how to dance.
Like they want me to do this show.
Well, then Bobby?
And he said, Lauren, I still don't know how to dance.
And I won.
So just go have fun and do your best and like enjoy it.
And people will love you.
So I was like, okay, well, here we go.
And we're rooting for her.
I think she starts training this weekend officially.
I also saw in the news that, you know how you get those emails?
And it's like, hey, I'm a Nigerian prince.
And if you give me your bank account, I'll play $11.
dollars in there. They busted
80 people in one of these Nigerian
fraud schemes. Nigerian
fraud networks now target individuals
and businesses alike. Through
sophisticated business email
compromise scams known as
BEC scams, romance
scams, and other online schemes.
So they're talking about how they go to older people and like
hey. And
the reason that we still get these
in such bulk is because they do work.
And let's say they send it a thousand and only
one person bites. That's still money.
good money if they get it.
Right.
And it takes no time to send it a thousand for them.
So they busted 80 people, some in America, some in Nigeria.
They also talked about how, you get robocalls on your phone all the time?
Yes.
All the time.
I have more robocall friends than I do human friends.
They'll just call up and be like, I wonder who this is.
Hello?
Hello, this is Bobby?
And then I have to sit there and have the whole conversation with them.
I'm going to be rude.
Yeah.
Something like it is.
Yeah.
Hey, how's it going?
So a dozen phone companies are pledging new tech to fight these robo
The phone companies will help prevent illegal robocalls by implementing call blocking technology
at the network level at no cost to customers.
So that'd be nice.
That would be, I go home and I'm sitting and I'll go home and kind of look at the show's
notes for the day or whatever.
My phone always rang between like 10 and 3.
It's just robo-coop to robo.
I don't even know what they're selling me.
Warranties?
Mostly it's warranties on things I don't even have.
Hey, we'd like to offer you a warranty on your boat.
I ain't got a boat.
Why offer me a warranty on some I don't have?
There was a flight from Delta,
a Delta flight from JFK to Los Angeles,
so New York to L.A.
And it was delayed 18 hours.
So almost a full day,
but that really wasn't even what was messing everybody up,
is that since they kept delaying it and not canceling it,
they wouldn't give people hotel rooms.
Oh, my gosh.
Here's this clip.
Is them getting upset.
What are they saying?
Call your boss.
Call your boss.
And I feel bad for the employees of Delta who are running the counter.
What are they supposed to do?
Call their boss.
I mean, wow.
You don't think the boss already knows?
I felt so bad.
I felt bad for everybody.
The people on the plane.
And I had a friend who was on this flight is how I knew about it.
And so, because she was posting on her Instagram story.
And so they're yelling at the person behind the counter.
What is the counter person supposed to do?
Like, really?
Right.
Think about that next time you get mad at somebody sitting behind.
counter. It's not their, they didn't break the plane or it was weather and it turned into, but
here is a guy explaining why the past, and the passenger should have been upset, just not at those
people. Here. We were given no water, no pillows, no covers. We were given no food. I was given some
food vouchers, which I was grateful for, except everything was shut so you couldn't actually spend
them. So it wasn't the people at the counter's fault, though. The counter people are just like,
Oh my goodness, we're trying.
Colleen.
So when you get mad, just think about you and where you are.
Sometimes people get mad at you when it's really out of your control.
So I felt bad for everyone.
There was no win there.
The person who was, you know, making out, like a bandit, was the people behind a counter in another city.
Like, oh, we've got to cancel that flight.
We're good.
They'll be all right.
That's, but you can't get a hold of them.
You can tweet them, but they just laugh at those.
And one final clip here, Justin Timberlake surprises people at B.B. King's
in Memphis, which is like a little restaurant bar, with a Chris Stapleton cover.
You're sitting in there having like some ribs.
I go to BB Kings.
There's one here.
I've been to the one in Memphis.
And Justin Timberlake comes in and starts playing music.
Are you kidding me?
How crazy would that be?
So that's kind of a lot of the sounds that were happening in the past day I pulled.
Anything you'd like to say with that, but any of those clips.
Okay.
Yeah.
I want to, I freak out if Justin Timberlake did that to me.
And then I'm thinking about like, what, how would you, like,
Can you just leave?
Can you just leave the airport and get a different flight,
but you won't get your money back if you do that?
My understanding is, why didn't they just leave?
My understanding is they kept delaying it.
Like one hour to time, like 18 times.
Three hours, two hours.
So you really couldn't just go, well, I'm going to bail because you might miss your flight.
And who's going to want to pay for another flight on another airline?
I know.
So it was a bad situation all the way around.
I just were, they were rioting at the counter.
Call your, and the person was like, I don't know what you want to do.
Like, I'm trying everything.
thing I can. And it's out of their hands. As Delta? I'd like to say I dealt with Delta yesterday and
had excellent customer service. Delta's always rocked my face off too. I'll be honest with you.
Really? Southwest is amazing customer service. And Delta is the best. Right. It gets a little
sketchy after that. You started to have issues with the planes and the people. You know, my husband has,
I don't have this, but he has Delta status or whatever because of work and he travels so much. So I had him,
got him, we got on the phone, and then he called, he has a special number. So I'm sure Delta
of customer service is great, but they treat, yes, yes, Mr. Brown, how many help you? He's also
a pilot. And then, and then he was like, actually, it's my wife. And then I pipe in. I'm like,
hey, thanks for taking my call. Like, they answer. Can I get some extra peanuts? Like, I was like,
oh, this is baller. Because I think it, had I called, I probably would have had a way longer wait.

let me go talk to laura in chicago who's on the phone
laura appreciate you calling the bobby bone show what's going on
good morning
first of all thank you for all your positivity in the morning
I love you guys are inspirational
but um so I was thinking about my
your book and I haven't read it yet
but I was thinking about my son
and I was wondering if it would be appropriate
for a 14 year old
to read which book my first
one or my second one? Well, I don't know.
Yeah, I would say, Amy, you can answer this. I just know a little bit about your story.
I think my books are for everyone. Yeah, I think they're both fine. I think in the first one
there might be at least one story I'm thinking of right now where you might, you could just go in
and cut that page out. Oh, the really embarrassing one about a girl? Yeah. I mean, yeah.
Yeah. So that's the only thing. I know. I get that he's 14, but still.
The second book, no problem. It's a motivational book. The first.
This book is kind of my life story.
Yeah, and I think it's totally fine for kids.
And it's up to your discretion as the parent.
You go read that page that I'm talking about, and then you decide.
Should I conveniently read this one?
It's page and I just said, I was saying this morning and thinking of him and thought, I love your positivity.
And I just think they would be very inspirational.
So I was like, hey, I wonder if his book would be appropriate.
So, okay.
Well, thank you.
Let me know.
Call me back.
Let me know what he thinks if you do hop in one of those.
The first one's called bare bones.
Second one's called Fail until you don't.
Okay.
Cool.
And, yeah, you know, I don't know if to listen to me to read it, but I hope so.
Well, what for me was giving someone a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut.
Given one of those, like book it back in the day.
I read all of books.
Right?
All right.
Thank you, Laura.
Thanks for listening to Chicago.
Thank you so much.
All right.
Have a great day.
Bye-bye.
We'll come back in a second.
A couple things.
One, there's trending, outdated, slang, and phrases.
So all these things were listed, and let's see how many of them you actually say.
Because Morgan number two is going to deliver them for us.
And maybe you say some of these, and you shouldn't.
I probably do.
They've labeled them outdated slang and phrases.
Okay.
We'll do that coming up next.
Amy, gender reveals love them or hate them.
Don't mind them?
So, sure, love them.
Yeah, I'm okay with them too.
They bother me.
I don't like them when, like, a forest gets burned down because somebody's shooting pink or blue flame.
And they do get out of control sometimes
But I'm okay with them
Yeah
So people are putting them on Instagram
And it seems like people are getting a little nuttier
I mean like if you cut a cake and it's blue or pink
It's cute
Penaida boom
Blue or pink candy comes out
That's fun
But this YouTube influencer
Shaila Walker
Shireed an Instagram video of her gender reveal
Did you see this one?
I didn't
Where she used a brand new Range Rover
And it's a pink Rangerover
Oh
Open the box and it's like boom
Pink Rangerover
Like a big full-size one
A little baby one.
No, it's a real...
Well, I'm singing baby like, you know, like a toy car.
It's a real Rangerover.
I'm looking at my screen.
Like, the box is huge.
The dad didn't know.
She knew.
And they opened it up, and it's like,
Pink Rangerover!
Wow.
And he's like, oh my goodness.
Did she know?
I mean, she's crying.
Did she know?
I mean, because how do you just tell someone to go buy a Range Rover?
And Rapid Pink.
Surely they had a wrap it pink.
No, no.
It was, it's like, it's like, the paint's pink.
It's a pink car.
It's a pink rangerover.
Oh.
You know how they can wrap cars.
It's not wrapped.
It's like you color a car.
You paint a car.
And they keep it?
I'd wrap it another color after.
I mean, I guess they want to drive around.
It's like people think you sold a bunch of Mary Kay.
That's funny.
Like, dang, she must be bawling on the eye shadow.
Yeah.
One of my neighbors growing up was got a pink Cadillac.
She sold so much Mary Kay, like basically to my mom.
Is that still a thing, Mary Kay?
Yes.
Yeah, it's a thing.
It's totally still a thing.
People still sell.
Yeah.
Somebody trying to get my wife to do it.
House to house?
Or now is it Facebook?
More like friends.
Like Facebook?
Get on it.
Yeah.
More like that.
Morgan number two has a story
outdated slang and phrases
because it was trending.
And so you can read us
these one at a time
and we'll just say yes or no
if we still say this.
Be honest.
Okay.
I didn't plan to lie.
Well,
for the fear of coming across
is not cool.
I already come across
not cool.
I got nothing to lose.
Okay.
All right.
Go ahead.
See you later, alligator.
After a while, crocodile.
Those are funny.
No, I don't say that.
Go ahead.
Off the hook.
No.
I think.
What about chain?
Yeah, off the chain.
I don't say.
Off the chain still.
I would say probably not both.
Both are old now.
Okay, go ahead.
It's on like Donkey Kong.
Maybe.
Maybe a little.
Cool beans.
Yeah.
I remember that one.
Cool beans?
Yeah.
Oh, you do?
It flows right off your tongue.
I know.
Like you still use it in your everyday vocabulary.
Okay, go ahead.
Art of the deal.
Never heard that one.
Well, it's Trump's book.
It's like, that's the art of the deal.
Oh.
Yeah, no.
We don't say that.
Smoking or non-smoking?
It's like a restaurant term.
So like when you show up at a restaurant and they're like smoking or non-smoking?
Yes, I know.
I needed the context for it.
Who smokes at a restaurant anymore?
No one, really.
In a time machine that have come up 20 years.
What else?
All that and a bag of chips?
No.
Anybody say that?
No.
You do?
Yeah.
That's funny.
What else?
Up your nose with a rubber hose.
That was like a clean dice.
Hey, up your nose with a rubber hose.
Hey.
Hickory dickory dock.
Hey.
So is that a yes?
No, no, no, no.
That's so like 80s.
Go ahead.
Give me some skin.
Oh, the handshakes.
That's cool.
That was like what your uncles did when you were a kid.
Like, give me some skin.
And instead of just doing that, you like put your hand and then rub it across.
Yeah, you slide it.
Yeah.
These are all outdated things, by the way.
We don't do that, though.
How many more are there?
There's two more.
Okay.
This is an A and B conversation.
See your way out.
Yes.
Yes.
For sure.
So mature.
I don't say that one.
Okay.
Well, you're missing out.
I know.
Should I use that more?
Yeah.
Especially if you and I are talking, A, B.
Get it.
Amy, Bobby.
See it.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh, I didn't get that.
Get it, but now I do, but yeah, you got to say it.
It's like got a double meaning.
And the last one, what's cooking, good looking?
Oh, gosh, that's old.
That's like a song, right?
Hey, good looking.
What's you got cooking?
That's like a 60 song, though.
Hank Williams, I think.
How's about cooking, something up with me?
And then it changed over to the commercial where it was like,
How's about cooking, something up with cheese?
Remember that commercial?
No, I don't remember that.
Well, Morgan number two, thank you for sharing.
I feel pretty good.
I don't think I hit any of those.
So to me.
What was the last one I want to start?
Hey, good looking, what you got cooking?
Yeah.
I'm starting to be cool to probably bring them back.
Right.
Yeah.
Give me some skin.
Be off the chain.
What about yas, queen?
Yes.
Can I still say that?
All right.
Yeah.
Yass.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Queen.
I was on a conference call the other day.
So dumb.
I forgot I did this.
But somebody you said something on the call.
And you know, you barely interact anyway because everybody's talking and you're
trying to get off.
And I just responded to something,
yas.
And then what happened?
I just,
I don't even know the people
that are on the call.
So it's just embarrassing.
Probably people in like New York,
LA,
all these things.
And then business people
and you're just like,
yes.
Well,
if they're hip,
they get it.
And they're like,
queen.
I don't know.
Bye.
Afterwards.
I was like,
I mean, yes.
Lit.
Yes.
Lit.
Faya.
What are you reading over there?
Oh,
just you on People magazine?
Have you seen this?
Oh, do you see the dog article?
Yeah,
put it on my answer.
story. Oh, okay. I didn't even know that you had posted about it, but it says that you're a new dad.
Well, People Magazine did an article on me and my dog. And the headline is Bobby Bones is a new dad.
And I'm like, oh, what? I know. That should put single dad. Talk about. Oh, Bid Bones is a single dad. That would definitely help you out a little bit.
Well, Bobby does mention that in the article, quote. He says, I'm a single dad here. Like, it's almost like he's looking for sympathy because his dog has to go pee in the middle of the night.
I'm making a joke. Come on. Although, yeah.
Y'all. If I did have someone that I was with, they could take the dog out at night.
Instead of me having to do it. But y'all, you're right.
I have some, I have some my favorite quotes from it.
Okay, go ahead. Go ahead. Well, so first of all, you should know, just if you're a new listener,
the backstory is Bobby has been, hasn't been ready for a dog for a, because he lost his dog dusty
that he had for like 14, 15 years. And so you kind of been feeling a little lonely lately.
And you've been. Says the article. Maybe I said that in the article.
Yeah. Maybe I was feeling very vulnerable.
Yes. And.
And you felt like maybe it's time to bring a buddy back into your life.
And you figured at some point that a dog would arrive and then it was your new dog, Stanley.
And then you said this, quote.
I mean, I got a dog because with this schedule, I can't keep a girlfriend.
I can't get a girlfriend.
Boom.
There you have it.
And then did you know they were going to go into like, they talk about, right after that,
they talk about your success professionally.
Okay.
But that basically you have trouble in the romance department.
and in years past, you've been linked to Rachel Reinhart.
Well, first of all, they go two girlfriends deep for no reason.
And Lindsay L.
I was just throwing names out there at this point.
I know.
I was like, dang, an article about a dog where we still got the...
Let's move on, folks.
Yeah, and trouble with the romance department?
Fake news.
That sounds bad, dude.
So just yell fake news.
Even if they're telling the truth,
yell fake news if you don't like it.
Sounds terrible.
How's that fake, though?
Like, trouble with a romance department sounds like you're, like, you can't...
No, no, Eddie, I have some more quotes that indicate trouble with...
We only have a second left. Go ahead.
Oh, sort of like, I've had trouble with commitment and with a dog.
You just love them and they love you back.
It's like therapy.
Okay, fair.
He adds with a laugh.
I know he's not going to break up with me.
The only reason he may leave is if he sees a hot dog or something.
That's funny, though.
Thank you.
I don't remember saying that, but it's like something I would say.
Yeah.
Well, listen, I always think it's crazy that People magazine when they do an article.
Oh, yeah.
Same, same, same.
And it's long.
And there's tons of pictures of you that they pull from your Instagram.
Like, it's really good.
And then lastly, if anybody's curious why Stanley Bobby's dog doesn't have his own Instagram page,
Bobby says, well, because if you do that, then I don't get the clicks.
Like Bobby wants the clicks on his Instagram, and he doesn't want people to like his dog more than him.
Yeah, because they will.
Yeah.
I put a picture last night of me and my dog.
Like, br-brum.
I put a picture just me for, cricket.
Sagebrush.
Woo-woo.
Yeah.
We'll put it up if you want to see this article.
It's good.
It's a bunch of pictures of me and the dog, basically.
People love that dog.
We got to give people what they want.
want to give them the dog content.
So check it out.
I'm sending them away to camp today for a few days.
All right, cool.
We good?
I appreciate you guys for hanging out.
Let's do a little Flashback Friday.
The year is 1998.
Flashback Friday.
1998, the biggest pop song was Aerosmith.
I don't want to miss a thing.
Which is from what movie?
Armageddon.
Yeah.
And it was Aerosmith's first number one song.
Oh, wow.
Of all the songs they had of all time,
that was their first number one.
The biggest country song,
I'm all right, Jody Messina.
And as part of Flashback Friday,
the biggest thing of pop culture,
that 70s show debuted on Fox.
Tofer Grace, who is the lead of the show,
played Eric Foreman.
He was discovered while performing in a high school play.
Oh, wow.
The co-creators of the show
were the parents of a cast member
of a high school production
of a funny thing happened
on the way to the forum.
And so they go and they're watching
and they're like,
Who's his other kid?
And they go, hey, we're doing this show.
We come audition.
He goes and auditions and gets the role.
That's so cool.
You're crazy?
Yeah.
So that 70th show aired in 1998 and took place in 1976.
Okay?
22 year difference.
If they made a show like that now, because it seems so far, it would be the year 1997.
Oh, my gosh.
And then we called that 90 show.
So time marches on.
All right, what's going on today, Amy?
Today I have a photo shoot.
For your secret.
whatever, yeah.
I've called it an award.
Yeah, I don't think it's an award.
I think it's a celebration of you.
Okay.
Well, I'll call it what it is.
Have you asked if you can announce it yet?
I told you shouldn't announce it because they may take it back.
I'm following your lead.
I have no idea, so I'm just not going to say anything.
And so, yeah, that's going to take up a chunk of my day.
What about you?
Well, let me look.
I'm seeing many dots I have.
By the way, let me say this.
Birmingham on sale at 10 Central.

being delivered to my house today. Ordered

in. I know. Feels good, huh?
Yeah. My dog is getting picked up for a
week away at training.
So, yeah, we'll piece out to him.
You feel like you're going to miss him?
No.
Not yet.
Not right.
No, not yet.
Yeah.
He needs to go.
I guess yes, but not more than he needs to go.
The chewing is out of control.
And someone next week, I'll be gone.
So it'll be good.
It's a good time for both of us to him to go away, come back a full cadet.
You know what I mean?
Yep.
Come back with all the skills.
And it'll be, yeah, I mean, I'll miss him a little bit, but it'd be good for him.
Yeah.
It'd be better for him than it will be hard for me, I think.
So that's why.
But I've only had him like a month.
Right.
It'll grow.
That'll get harder.
I think I'm finally starting to love my dog, Kara.
Oh, yeah?
Yeah.
It's only like nine years.
Amy's had her for nine years.
No, we've had her like a year.
But I'm like, yeah, you're finally, we're starting to love you.
