They start with a soil test and climate data to build a yard plan tailor to where you live,

The Bobby Bones post show pre-show
We're over here a pile of Sharpies
On Monday next week we'll be in our new studio
But Amy's got a whole theory about Sharpies in the new studio
I'm worried about those things
Because they seep through the paper
Especially as much as you cross through things
And we have brand new white countertops
And you cannot be messing it up with your Sharpies
So I feel like
you're going to have to say goodbye
to the Sharpie.
Or it just becomes a thing.
No.
Where he just marks up
everywhere he goes.
No.
Investigators would be like,
oh, Bobby's been here.
It's like breadcrumbs?
I'm mark on the walls everywhere I go
so people can find me.
What is part in your throat?
You sick?
Collidal silver.
No.
I massaged my face
last night to do some
lymphatic
drainage.
What are you saying?
It's like, listen, y'all,
It's real.
If you massage certain pressure points in your face, it starts to loosen up, like, this drainage you have.
And I feel it, like, going down my throat, and it's making it irritated.
But it's good for me.
It's just, like, loosening up all the stuff that's stuck inside your face.
Google it.
There's videos on YouTube.
I usually just take, like, pseudofid for that.
Well, I mean, I'd rather not.
So now I'm spraying collateral silver in my throat or whatever that stuff is.
Is that like centrum silver, the vitamins?
No, it's different, but I feel better now.
Well, good for you.
Do you want me to massage your face?
No, I'm good.
I bet you.
I got one last night.
Oh, my face.
Yeah, I got my face and my wrist, both massage.
Do you place I like to get massaged.
Okay.
Well, y'all can find it on YouTube if you're listening right now, and you're so curious.
Lymphatic drainage, it's real.
Check it.
I don't even not spell it.
Much less YouTube, eh.
I bore you Sharpies on my new white desk.
Although, did you hear the drama with the new studio with Amy?
No.
What?
No, tell us.
Well, no, we walk into the room, and this is last week.
It's supposed to be a meeting for things that you might want.
All of a sudden, she goes, no, I don't know.
Then she goes, uh-huh.
And I'm like, this visually doesn't work.
We need to move this here.
Let's take this room.
He's desk and move it here.
And so for me, I'm thinking out what it's going to look like.
Is it my vision is like a talk show?
And it's like me, and I got my, my, does Jimmy Fallon have a, like, he didn't have a co-host, does he?
He doesn't.
but like Amy's like Ed McMahon or Andy Richter or Paul Schaefer yeah you know and so she has her own little
spot over there next to me and Amy's like hmm well we were going over ways to like let me tell the
story and then you can take your version okay we're looking around and I'm like hey we need this change
I'm going to move this down like how it looks on camera I was just being quiet we got it and Amy's just
just quiet right now and then she's she's walking around her desk she's her own space she's like
And she's like making little noises.
I put her hand on her chin like, well.
Like scratches her face a little bit.
You can tell her to really,
the wheels are really turning up there.
She was like, can I get a drawer built into the bottom of this
so I can put all my stuff in there?
Dore.
A drawer.
Like a pull-out drawer.
And highlighters.
I think we all need them.
What would you say to that?
They're like, no.
Why?
Why?
It would be loud.
Okay.
I didn't even think about that part of it.
It doesn't even have to move.
It doesn't have to be a drawer that pulls out.
It could just be like a wire drawer that mounts to the top and you can slide things.
It'll hold stuff.
Okay.
What you think about that?
I mean, I don't know.
I was like...
First answer would be no, but then if she talked me into it, I guess.
Well, the first answer was no.
And then she started talking to it to it.
And I was like, no, it's just a garbage den.
Oh, right.
No, but it's not for garbage.
You can put a marker on your table.
Okay.
I thought we were keeping everything clean.
Well, nothing's going to stay like just all clear white.
I thought it was just a place to put stuff.
It's not a big deal.
but they acted like I was asking for, like, to move mountains or something, and I was being so ridiculous.
It wouldn't have been hard to do.
They would have built whatever in any way whatsoever.
Like, this was the time.
Even Eddie came to me and was like, hey, man, they promises more cameras.
And guess what, Eddie's getting all the cameras.
Guess who's not getting a drawer?
Like, I mean, honestly, it was called a run through.
I would have been fine with like, oh, okay, yeah, no, probably shouldn't do that.
But it was almost like, Amy, shut up.
You don't know what you need.
No, it was like, Amy, you don't need somewhere to clutter.
I'm like, did you notice I left the meeting?
Is that why you left?
I'm like 12 years old.
She left because she had somewhere to go.
No, no, no.
I came back.
I left to go record stuff, but I was like, I guess they don't really need me for this because
my input does not matter.
So I'm going to go record a few things and I'll come back and see if they even missed me.
So I go and I record and I come back.
They didn't even miss me.
So then I really left.
Her input mattered.
We're not going to put a drawer.
No, I don't even have a drawer.
Nobody gets a drawer.
We should have a drawer.
How many drawers?
How many drawers in your kitchen end up being just junk and pins and tape measures and penis pumps?
You know, it's just things like that.
True.
I mean, whatever.
Okay.
I'll get a little cup or something to put my pins in.
There you go.
Now you're thinking.
But I want to put it under my desk because I don't want it on top.
I want it clean.
You don't have to have it clean.
You put a laptop up there.
I even ordered a new laptop case cover to match the studio.
I'm very into the new vibe.
Good, good, good.
Very nice.
So that was the drama.
It was.
It was fine.
A little dramatic.
Do you know what happened to me?
Oh, first of all, here's the Eddie story.
We have these cameras are like thousands of dollars each,
and they're all over,
and Eddie can't, like, move cameras from...
I don't know how you're going to talk on the show anymore
because you'll be doing cameras all the time.
It's going to be like playing piano,
like left brain and right brain.
It's going to be tough.
And so he was like, hey, man,
they promised me two more cameras.
So I go back and I'm like,
do we need the cameras?
They're like, no, you don't need the cameras.
I'm like, all right.
Yeah, I heard them.
Yeah, I heard them.
They said they didn't need them.
Well, and then I went to two other people, completely...
They're all video people, right?
Completely outside.
Well, the two I went to were.
Oh, dang it.
And I went to them, and I was like, hey, they're like, nah, you don't need them.
You can...
Not only will these move around, but you can manipulate them in whatever ways, remount them, whatever.
And I was like, hey, Eddie, this is what I got from two other people, and he was like, I still need them.
So I was like, fine.
So I went back and I said, Eddie demands the two cameras.
No, I said I demanded them.
Yeah, good, good.
That made me look like...
Well, no, they would have been like...
They don't like...
They would have been like, who cares?
But they're getting them.
You better use some freaking cameras.
I'll use them all.
You watch.
We have six cameras in our new studio that Eddie can navigate by a little like robot driver.
What happened to me that was really funny was that, and I told you this Raymundo thing was going to be an issue.
As soon as Ray said, change my name to Ramundo, I knew it was going to be an issue because I'm Hispanic.
Ray is not.
So Ray had this very particular request that said he wants a chair without arms, right?
they're like, okay, you got it.
We'll get you a chair without arms.
So I go for my little tour or whatever.
They're like, all right, we got your little space.
Come on in.
And like you asked, here's your chair with no arms.
And I go, I didn't ask that.
They're like, yeah, you're Ramundo.
We got you.
Your chairs is no arms.
And I'm like, no, I'm Eddie.
And then Raymundo is like, dang it.
I'm Eduardo.
He's Ramundo.
And I knew it was going to be an issue.
It's funny.
So I have a chair with no arms, but I didn't make a big stink out of it.
I'm like, that's all right.
Oh, I didn't even get a chair.
They were like...
Oh, yeah, that's right.
They were like, you're just going to use your Garth Brooks chair, right?
And I was like, can I?
They're like, yeah, it works fine.
So, roll it back and it works fine.
Oh, that's cool.
You get to keep the Garth chair, though.
So, yeah.
And so we started their money.
So pumped to start there.
It's going to be a lot of little ticks and problems for a bit.
Yeah.
But anything new.
But it'd be cool.
Like the guests, we have a law of mics for the guests.
You just put it on the shirt.
Yeah.
We'll see how that sounds.
No one's doing that.
And that wasn't my fully idea,
but then I request like four or five other big mics
to put in front of people to just in case.
So it should be good.
Listen, we have all the technology now.
We've never had a new studio in the history.
I've never had a new studio for as long as I've ever been in radio.
And they let me design it exactly.
So it has to work because I drew it on paper.
Are you excited?
You pumped?
At this point, I just want to kind of want to get it going.
We should have had it done two weeks ago.
Yeah.
But there were little issues.
And I figured it would have.
happen on time. Nothing ever does.
So, yeah, it'd be good. I hope.
And you'll be able to watch a lot of the show on video,
if not all the show eventually. We had a TV network
coming. We're like, hey, why don't we put your whole show on video for a couple
hours? They're like, run it live. But then they wanted to own all the video footage.
And I was like, what do I mean, you people? I was like,
what do you mean own the video footage?
Define own.
They're like, well, we get access to it's ours. You know, we, and I was like,
no, no, you're out of your mind. So, yeah,
we'll see how it goes. But there we go.
Oh, Mike D, we good?
All right, here's today's show.
Thank you very much.
Enjoy a Tuesday show of the Bobby Bowie Show.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let's go.
We're transmitting across America.
This is the Bobby Bones.
Welcome to Tuesday Show.
More studio.
Morning.
So I guess Amy, your kids left gum in the pockets of their pants?
Yeah, like a full pack.
So what happens then?
I did laundry.
It went through the wash and through the dryer.
so it got hot
and it stuck to like everything
and a lot of my good clothes in there
like I have some Lulu Lemon
which is like a nice yoga
yes so my
three favorite pairs of Lulu pants
have green gum on them
and I cannot get it off
so I put it in the freezer because I googled it
and that's what it said like put it in the freezer
let the gum freeze and then take a toothbrush
and like gently scrape it
but that wasn't really working so that some listeners
told me to get WD40 so I bought
that. But I have some of my items of clothing like the black pants. Okay, fine. I'll put the WD40.
But other stuff, there's some gray. And like I feel like if I put that on there, is it going
to leave like an oil mark? Like, I just don't know. But I mean, there's already a gum mark.
So I might as well go for the oil. I haven't done the WD40 yet. But I mean, if any other
listeners have tips for me, I'll take them. Because it's literally on my husband's stuff and my
stuff. Did you talk to the kids about day? No more government. I talked to everybody. I's made in a family
announcement. Ding, ding, ding. Hello. Everybody. Everybody.
check their pockets before they put stuff in the laundry because I don't have time to do that before I put it in the washing machine.
Are you sure it was your kids and not your husband?
I'm sure because it was this green gum that the kids had just got.
He doesn't like hubba-bub-bubba?
I don't know hubbubba-bub, but I mean.
Bubble yam?
Man.
Big leag-choo.
Ooh, that's a good stuff.
It's not like I can pinpoint exactly which kid it was either.
So it's almost like a household rule now.
And I said, I'm even including myself in this.
But we have got to get the gum out of the pocket.
That stinks.
Yeah.
Good clothes ruined.
Oh, yeah.
It's like, and it was a full load.
Like, sometimes you only wash a few things.
I was washing everything that day.
I was so annoyed.
It was the one day you watched everything.
Welcome to Tuesday show.
Glad you're here with us.
We got a good one for you.
Not to start on the sour note.
Yeah, no.
I mean, it's whatever.
It's what's important in life and not these clothes.
So.
I don't know.
A little lemon.
I know.
It's a Bobby Bones show.
They have these things called Super Nests in Alabama,
which are.
big old nests of yellow jackets
and these things hold up to like 15,000 yellow jackets
some of them can hold up to half a million yellow jackets
their nests the size of cars
here's like a person talking about it and then an expert
when I knocked it over they come after me and swarms
and what happens people don't know they'll keep coming back
they don't die and unlike bees they can sting multiple times
and if you happen to be unfortunate enough to crush one
or to bother one let's say a little too much
they can call their buddies in for backup.
Oh, my gosh.
How do they call each other?
A CB.
Get it? C.B.
They make sounds?
Yellow jackets?
Yeah.
But I mean, call sounds?
Like, I'm in trouble.
I don't think so.
Retaliate.
I didn't know there's a difference between bees and yellow jackets.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
We had yellow jacket problems in Arkansas all the time.
You ever have hornets?
You ever have a hornet's nest?
My stepdad used to collect hornet's nests,
and you'd have to get them.
There were these big gray things.
We'd hang them around the house all the time.
There are probably a lot of people in the South who know I'm talking about.
But you go and they're very soft.
So you've got to be careful.
Sometimes we'd climb trees and cut them down, but they were tough.
And the Hornets, even when Hornets were built it under the garage,
they make spray that you can spray from like 100 feet away.
Yeah.
Because you can't get close to them.
So you got to from so far away.
Anyway, I saw that this morning.
I thought I passed it along to you guys.
Thanks.
Yeah, right?
Yeah.
The Bobby Bone Show.
I want to bring on Lynn and South Carolina.
Carolina. Hey, Lynn. Hi. You good? I'm doing great. How are y'all? We're real good. And so what happened was, just to kind of reset for our listeners here. A few weeks ago, Amy, or excuse me, Eddie goes to Walmart to buy formula for his foster baby. You have two foster kids, and one of them is a baby, an infant. And so you go and someone at Walmart says, hey, why are you bringing this formula back to exchange? Did you steal this?
Right. Correct. I have got.
gifted the formula, so I was trying to exchange it for the right one.
So someone at Walmart heard this, and corporate called and was like, whoa, that's not cool.
We want to help you out.
First of all, they donated $10,000 to the charity of Eddie's choice that had to do with foster parenting,
gave Eddie a $1,000 gift card to help with his two foster kids to go with those other two kids.
And so that all happened on the air as a quite moving moment, even for me, and I knew it was coming.
So that's the catch up.
Now, Lynn, what is your question?
My question was, what was Eddie's reaction to all of that?
Yeah, I texted her immediately when it happened, and she was just in shock.
She goes, oh, my gosh, are you serious?
And yes, and even Walmart followed up with me saying, you know, they wanted to get down to what store it was and what had happened.
So we're like, wow, this is amazing, like that they're really going to this level.
So my wife was like, she was just really excited.
Now, I wonder, Eddie, with these foster kids, are you spending a lot of money?
Yeah. Yeah, we are because, I mean, it's like any other family. You don't buy one kid one thing without buying the others the same. And so it's like if one of our kids wants something, then it's like, all right, we're getting three of those. And then...
Because the baby doesn't need anything. The baby doesn't need anything yet, but the baby eats and the baby, you know, has baby...
Are you changing the baby diapers? Are you changing the baby diapers? Be honest. I am.
I have 100% of the diapers you are changing the percentage is?
30.
really much higher than I thought
I mean gosh compared to like my kids
I mean I probably changed a total of like 10 diapers
not 10% no 10 diapers
total yeah
what you think about that Lynn
I think that's amazing that he took those kids in
and helping them out like that
oh it's definitely helped Eddie's favorability rating
on the show
I didn't get me a couple of kids
yeah no you're right
Eddie's a good dude and so
the thing is too Lynn Eddie didn't tell us
like it was a secret because he was like
Like, let me just make sure that everything's good before I kind of share it with the show.
And I guess you had just, you'd mentioned to me quickly offhand.
I did.
But you kind of just kept under wraps for a long time.
Yeah, it's something new to us, and we didn't really want to talk about it too much.
We wanted to see how it was going to feel and how it was going to fit into our family first,
and it was going to remain.
And I won't ask you how long, but it's been months at this point.
Gosh, it's been months?
It's been months, yes.
Longer than you thought?
No, we're on course for what I think, but I feel, I have a feeling that it may be, we may have
them longer from what we thought we were going to have them.
Lynn, any parting remarks, Lynn?
I just want to tell all of y'all how inspiring all of you are with your generosity of your time,
your money, and everything that you do, helping out the military, helping out children,
everything is just inspiring to us.
Well, we appreciate that.
And we have a platform.
and we hope we are using it right most of the time.
We can't always.
We make wrong decisions a lot of the time,
but we really try.
We really try.
So thank you for saying that.
Thanks for listening.
Thank you.
All right, Lynn, there she is.
Lynn in South Carolina.
Asking the question that I was going to ask,
but she beat me to it.
Like most of the time with our listeners.
They just know.
They know.
They know.
Oh, yeah.
Thank you.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So a little follow.
Fox got his head stuck in a sewer grate.
So firefighters showed up.
Police showed up.
Public Works employees showed up.
They all responded to help this little fox.
They ended up having to break the grate to free the fox.
And the animal ran off into the woods, firefighters said.
So it was just like a moment where he was like, go be free, little fox.
But I thought it's cool that all these people showed up for like a little fox.
It's like maybe there's not that much going on.
No, maybe they love animals and foxes.
Yes, yes, yes.
No, it's super cute.
So the fox is free.
There you got what's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Bobby Bones Show.
Bonehead.
Norrie up the day.
This story comes to us from Springwater, New York.
Stanley Payne is sitting in his house, and he looks outside, and someone parked in front of his house, and their tires are a little bit on his grass.
And he's upset.
He's like, you know, I've been a fan of demolition derby for a long time.
Oh, wow.
So he jumps in his car, and he goes demolition.
Derby style to the car with the tires on the grass.
Wow.
Alcohol involved?
They do not say if alcohol was involved.
He was only charged with criminal mischiefs, so I would not say...
Slaving a car?
Yeah.
I mean, he wasn't under the influence, I guess, because he was driving a car when he did it.
Oh, wow.
That guy's got anger issues, though.
And he wasn't drunk.
He's really angry.
Okay, Lunchbox.
I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day.
We've been doing our Mount Rushmore of music.
so it's your favorite four
but I do Mount Rushmore plus one
so my favorite five artists
on Amy's
it was George Strait and Tupac
it was Derek Spentley
Taylor Swift and Ed Shearin
that was yours
mine was Garth Brooks
and John Mayer and Casey Musgraves
Ben Folds
and then added Old Dominion
over to lunchbox now for his
Mount Rushmore
there are no rules lunchbox
it's just your Mount Rushmore
musical artist
who do you have first
on number one best of all time
The one and only Miss Tina Turner.
Do you follow her on social media?
No.
Does she have social media?
I don't even think she does.
I mean, she just chills in Zurich and by the lake with her husband and just looks at the lake and has a great life.
Where's Zurich?
Switzerland.
That's how you know you made it.
You just go somewhere.
Gosh.
Chill.
Awesome.
It's just too cold for me, though.
That'd be the thing about like a Switzerland.
It's like up there in Europe.
Yeah, with that cool knives and chocolates.
What the fuck?
She does have Instagram?
Wow.
All right, who else is on your Mount Rushmore music?
M&M, lose yourself, boys and girls.
This is amazing.
What's your favorite Eminem song?
Oh, lose yourself.
It's a good one.
For sure.
Who else is on your Mount Rushmore on music?
Guys, get ready.
I mean, we're going to need a lot of space for the Zach Brown Band.
Here's the problem with band.
You just put the lead singer.
Okay, so Zach will go up there, but Zach Brown Band.
Yeah.
Deep in a water somewhere, got the blue sky breeze, and it don't seem fair.
Worried in the world is a tight going to reach my trip.
Do you have a favorite Zach Brown song?
Ooh, Highway 20 rides pretty good.
It's pretty sad.
Yeah, pretty sad.
That's true.
And I think I might have found me my own kind of paradise.
Amy have a favorite Zach Brown song?
Toes.
Probably.
Yeah.
Chicken fried.
Yeah.
Might not picking the right one.
You pick whatever you want.
I was looking at you.
Who else lunchbox?
There's no right or wrong, is it?
Okay.
Yeah.
Going up there on my mountain.
Rushmore is Stevie Wonder.
That's good.
It just makes you think of somebody else I kind of wanted to put online, but we can't put them anymore.
Listen, and here's why we do five people on Mount Rushmore, because everybody goes, let me just add one more.
And so I go, okay, well, let's do five, but you add no more.
But who would you have added?
No.
I mean, this just made me think of, like, music that you always hear and is always going to be good, and it's Michael Jackson.
Yeah, I can't put him in a room.
I can't put him in a lot of time.
I know.
Lunchbox, and finally up on your Mount Rushmore?
Last but not least, he gets in there in the fifth spot, Garth Brooks.
Yeah, we're two of a kind working on a full house.
I would drive to see that Mount Rushmore.
Yeah.
I've never seen Mount Rushmore of the old ones.
Me either.
Anyone here ever seen it?
I don't know where it is.
South Dakota.
Blackwood Hills.
South Dakota.
Eddie's like, this is the address.
Well, dude, Eddie's Mount Rushmore coming up, and then Morgan number two is as well.
Is it going to be Hannah-Mondon-Mond.
Montana?
No.
Yeah.
First of all, I would like to put on Jojo.
That girl, you know Jojo is?
I do love Jo.
Yes.
Wait, there's two Jojoss.
The new one, the new young one, the blogger.
Yes.
Stasheera is obsessed with her.
It's a YouTube Jojo.
Oh, my gosh.
So, we'll find out what's going on with that.
Do you like Mount Rushmore's?
I don't know.
Yeah, this game.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, it's not like, you can't win.
Mine's been the best.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay.
The Bobby Ball.
Show.
It's time to play.
Easy trivia.
These are all the easiest questions I could possibly ask you in a trivia game.
Last Man Standing wins.
Let's meet our players.
To my left.
Amy.
Hey.
Happy to be here.
Next to Amy.
She's the youngest person on the show.
She's 25.
Morgan number two.
Next to her.
The guy was, you got the beard.
You got the kind of the beard rocking now.
Got a little more beard than normal.
There he is.
everybody.
Best look it on the show.
And then Eddie, our video produced.
Yeah.
Probably the smartest one here.
Oh, I think about that.
Yeah, I would disagree.
But okay, here we go.
Easy trivia.
Amy, we'll start with you.
Okay.
All you have to do is get it right.
You stay in the game.
No problem.
So easy.
So easy.
In Roman numeral.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
What's the number 10?
Like, what's the Roman numeral for the number 10?
Are we in Roman numeral?
right now. Okay, relax. Everybody should know
this. And Roman numerals, what's the number 10?
It's so easy. It's so easy
to fall in love. I mean,
I don't know.
We don't even use those anymore.
Sure you do. Sure.
Super Bowl. Super Bowls.
When it gets to 5,
isn't that a 1 and an X or is X
5 and then 10 is
10 X? I don't know, guys.
I feel like I know this.
When you say it, I'm going to be so annoyed
with myself.
Amy, I'd be so annoyed with myself.
do need an answer. What is
10? Your answer, please.
Or 5. X.
She says X.
She says X. Wait, what is your answer for 10?
She says X. The answer is
X.
Whoa! Yeah! I knew it.
Stop it.
Okay, over to Morgan number two.
Easy trivia. I googled easiest trivia
questions you could ask somebody.
I don't believe you, but...
Okay. Who wrote a famous diary?
while hiding from Nazis in Amsterdam.
What is her name?
I know it's her and she was young.
Who wrote a famous diary while hiding from Nazis?
I'm telling you, things just escape my brain when I play this game.
Come on, we're going to repeat.
I don't, oh my gosh, I literally.
I need to answer in three seconds.
I have absolutely nothing.
I have nothing.
Say your name, see a name.
Amelia, I know it's not that.
Close.
It's Anne Frank.
Wow.
Where did you go to college?
Stop it.
I remember whenever Justin Bieber went to that site and he signed the guest book and he was like, oh, for sure, Anne Frank would have been a believer.
It was quite the controversy.
You ever that?
Don't remember that.
That's crazy.
Lunchbox.
Yep.
Here you go.
It's easy.
Which piece on a chessboard makes an L-shaped move?
What?
Come on.
Which piece on a chess board makes an L-shaped move?
I mean.
I guess a king.
I have no idea.
A king.
Incorrect.
I've never seen a chess.
Chessboard in my life.
You've never seen that.
In person, no, I have not.
You've never seen.
Do you know the answer to that, Eddie?
Yes, night.
It's a knight. That's correct.
Oh, how do you know that?
I play chess.
And because it's so easy.
I like that.
All right, Eddie, you're still in the game here.
Oh, man, I've known all three of these so far.
What president is on the $5 bill?
Think about that.
It's, hey, it.
It's so easy.
What president is on the $5?
$5 bill.
Guys, I don't carry cash, really.
Oh, come on.
The one is...
I've never seen a $5 bill.
One is George.
One is Hamilton.
Wait, was one Hamilton or George?
No, I'm saying one of the bills.
And then Jefferson.
Who was on the $5 bill?
Is Amy going to be the only one they're going on right?
I think I know that's...
Let's go.
Let's go, T.J.
Who?
Thomas Jefferson.
Thomas Jefferson.
Show me Thomas Jefferson
Okay
Is Lincoln
Andrew Jackson
Jackson's $10
Go
Who I would have gotten that wrong
He's 20
You're putting your pants over there
I'm nervous
Amy's like
Did I win?
I think you won
Wow
This is like
One of the first times
ever
I'd like to thank all my teachers
Wow
For being amazing
You just won?
I just won
Clean sweep
Clean sweep
Hey Sam and Mississippi
How are you
Hey Bobby
I'm crew
How y'all doing
Hey.
How are you doing?
Great.
Just sitting there playing a game.
Amy just won a game.
I just dominated.
Yeah, yeah.
You got one right.
I have to tell you that I have stopped to listen to you guys live because I just found out about y'all.
I was driving on the road one day.
I was listening to all talk to each other and I was like, who are these people?
They all know what's going on.
So I said, I'm going to go back and listen from the beginning.
So I'm in the December 2016 episode of you guys.
Oh, wow.
Wow.
Well, spoiler alert, I'm still alive.
Amy's still alive, and he's still alive.
What has happened?
Oh, I haven't gotten my kids yet.
You haven't gotten your kids yet?
Your kids are still in Haiti.
Oh.
I mean, what's right ever gets is $50,000?
Oh, Ray and his Trump bet?
Yeah.
What do you think happens with Amy and her kids?
It's not what you think.
I don't know.
I guess she just gets them and everybody lives happily ever after.
What's you with me?
Well, you got to keep listening.
Oh, no.
Please don't tell me.
We're not going to spoil up.
I feel like I'm really, y'all, I feel like I'm watching a movie.
Like, I'm just, I'm a stay at home mom, so I just listen to this podcast like, day, night, while I'm driving in the road.
I'm like, it's just a movie, audio.
So you're, she's three years back, basically?
So you don't follow us on Instagram or anything?
I don't have an Instagram or Snapchat.
Wow, so she doesn't know what we look like.
I really don't.
I saw one still photo of you guys, and I was like, my husband said, let me just look them up.
I said, no, no, no, don't tell me.
I don't want to know how it.
Yeah, you'll be sad.
I'm just falling alone.
Um, okay, well, has Morgan number two joined the show?
No, I think there's only one Morgan and she's got this dating problem.
Wow, I mean, listen.
That's a throwback.
And do I have a baby yet?
No, you do not have a baby.
Am I married yet?
No, you're doing some girl.
You went to the night show.
To the what show?
Out at Christmas light.
She drove through some Christmas light.
She decorated your house for Christmas.
Oh, it was Lindsay.
as my ex-girlfriend.
What?
I mean, what did you just say?
Oh my gosh.
Now she knows.
I'm just kidding.
How do you know we're not messing with her?
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
You did just go.
Oh, yeah.
You all probably messed up.
Good job.
I'm just following along a little bit at the time,
but I don't want to listen anything new
because I don't want to get, like,
surprised.
Well, you're talking to us in the future right now.
Let me say a lot of things.
I know.
That's so cool.
Oh, my gosh.
I just feel like I got to listen all day every day.
You just to catch up.
Yeah, it's crazy.
Has Chris Evans come on the show as a fill-in guest host?
I'm Eddie's kids are doing the movie review.
They're eight.
The little boy is so cute.
She hasn't got to the part where Lunchbox wins the lottery.
Oh, yeah.
Eddie, didn't you?
Never used to do movie reviews?
Oh, yeah.
Lunchbox?
Where we do spin the wheel and I had to get a vasectomy?
No.
Oh, no.
On air.
It's crazy.
Listen.
And you'll keep talking about the show.
This is us.
I've never heard of it.
So I must have to go see that.
Well, Sam, thank you for calling.
Listen and call us back in like a week or two and let us know where you are.
Because you're December of 2016 right now?
Yeah, so it can be Christmas.
I'm just catching up with you guys.
All right.
All right.
Well, thank you, and we'll talk to you soon.
All right.
Merry Christmas.
All right.
That's funny, huh?
That's really funny.
Bent, let's take the steam out of Amy's win because you did win, Amy.
There you go.
She doesn't know that I won yet.
She'll find out in a couple years.
Yeah.
Come on, y'all.
The Bones Show.
Hey, what's happening?
Thanks for hanging out with us.
I'm going to go Dina in South Dakota.
What's up, Dina?
Hi, this is Jordan.
Hmm.
Jordan, stand by.
We'll come back to you.
Let's go to Dina in South Dakota.
Hey, Dina.
Hi.
What's happening?
Is this the real Dina?
It's Diana.
Oh, see.
Well, I'm just a nutty today.
All right, what can I help you with Diana?
Well, I just wanted to let you know.
I'm a huge fan of the aging idiots,
and I actually just thought tickets to see you guys in Chicago.
We're going to drive 10 hours to see you guys in August.
Holy cow.
So you're a huge fan of, by the way, the raging idiots.
It's a comedy duo that Eddie and I do.
And we've been doing it for years and we've gotten better and we've gotten better and we've gotten better.
And our next show, Amy, is going to be a bit of a Broadway musical, a bit of stand-up comedy, a bit of two-man music.
It really is going to be something unlike we've ever tried before.
That being said, Deanna, we've never tried this before.
So if you come and you're like, what is happening at this show?
Just give us a second.
I promise you it's going to be super fun.
I'm excited.
I mean, I think you're so funny and I love your song, so I'm really excited.
What is your favorite raging idiots song?
If you had to recommend to all of our new listeners where they're like,
I'm dying for some great music.
Like I've heard Luke Combs' stuff, I've heard the Stapleton.
Like, what in the Raging Idiots world would you recommend that's like their songs?
Well, my favorite is Namaste.
That's a jam.
But out of the newer ones on the newer album, I love Hobby Lobby Bobby.
Okay.
All right.
I tell you what.
First of all, thank you, Dan.
I cannot wait to see you.
I'm sure we'll meet at the show.
Hobby Lobby Bobby is such a fan favorite.
Like I know.
We have no clue.
We have no clue.
We do have a record out called Live in Boston.
But I used to work at Hobby Lobby.
And did you know a lot of people don't know that was a craft store?
Oh, no.
I think it's kind of regional.
Really?
Semi-regional.
Much like Chick-Flock.
Palet.
Oh, got you.
Not in some, a lot of places now, but when I was a kid, I used to work a Hobby Lobby.
Not a kid, even as a young adult.
And I tell the story in this clip, Hobby Lobby, Bobby, ha, ha, ha.
But here you go.
And I encourage you, come out with, the tour starts in a few weeks.
A couple weeks, actually.
We'll be in Denver and Chicago and Amarillo and San Antonio and Louisville and Vegas.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
A FedEx employee is.
being honored by the Miami City Commission
for saving a co-workers life on the job.
Brittany McDuffie works nice at FedEx.
She was sorting packages when her coworker
collapsed and stopped breathing.
She had taken a CPR course with the fire department
that she works with part-time.
And so she got them breathing again
and they gave her a big award.
It just reminded me when I was on Dancing with the Stars,
one of the workers, the guys who moved all the props around,
started choking.
And I saw someone going to action.
Wow.
And like give the hymn, like, it was really weird and intense.
and then they spit it out
and the place erupted
like a sporting event championship
was just won and it felt deserved
everyone was like
and he brought
it and they like brought it
it was awesome
that's cool
it was cool
and so shout out to her
because that's what this whole segment's about
people doing awesome things
Brittany McDuffie
shout out to you
you saved someone's life
and Harvey had probably got like family
and stuff he's back too
that's a good one
that was tell me something good
folks it's your buddy and mine
Mr. Bobby Bones
Let me know.
Transmitting.
Hey, everybody's got a good Tuesday going on.
Over to Amy now at the Corny.
The Morning Corny.
What do you call a cow with a twitch?
What do you call a cow with a twitch?
Beef jerky.
Beef jerky.
That's good.
Yeah.
We do like that one.
That's a good one.
That was the morning corny.
By the way, coming soon.
Eddie and I on the road.
Denver, Chicago, Amarillo, San Antonio, Austin,
Louisville, I could run down the whole list.
I know. Ragingidgets.com, our music and comedy show,
Ragingidiotes.com, if you guys want to come.
Heather in North Carolina, what's happening?
I'm going to tell you about my son with your get-up video.
He's three and he's autistic and he's obsessed with shoes.
So I showed him your video and he copies the video.
Every time he comes on, all your dance moves, including getting his cup and drinking from his cup,
When you do, he copies your video step for step.
Oh, that's awesome.
How does that make you feel?
Oh, it's awesome.
I love it because I love listening to your show every day,
and he loves the song, so I showed him yours.
And, you know, when you get thrown into the pool,
he throws himself on the ground and kicks off his cowboy boots.
And every time I tell him if he wants to watch it, he's like red shoes, red shoes.
Oh, that's funny.
Your shoes in the video.
Well, that's awesome.
Well, thank you for that comment.
And I'll tell you what, I'll play that coming up in just a second.
Thank you, Heather, and tell your son to say hello.
Awesome, thank you.
All right, see you later.
Thanks for the call.
I will play that, but first, we're going to go over to Morgan number two, and what do
25-year-olds care about, where sometimes, Amy, maybe we just don't know anymore.
We could be getting out of touch.
Well, I really love Target, and they're having a massive two-day summer sale on July 15th and 16th,
and it's supposed to be, like, tackling Amazon Prime Day.
But you can go to Target and shop on their website or in their app,
and there's all these huge deals on all the brands that are only at Target.
Prime Day competition.
Hey, competition breeds a lot of cool options for us.
So fight away.
Amy, dad, does that make you feel?
Awesome.
I'll probably have to hit it up.
I love Target.
And that's what your daughter likes to do, too.
Just go to Target.
Yes.
Both my kids love Target.
Morgan number two, thank you.
Yep.
That's what 25-year-olds care about.
And also a PSA for a lot of our listeners.
All right, here we go.
Here is The Get Up from Blanco Brown.
He played it in our studio.
And this is for the caller, or the call just a second ago.
Going to do the two-step.
Then cowboy, when you grab it, sweetheart, and spin up with him,
do the hold down and get into it.
Let me hit.
Take it to the left now.
Yes.
Where they're going to throw down, take a sip.
We'll now lean back with your hips in it.
The Bobby won't show.
In the morning before we do our show, Amy and I will sit in my office,
and mostly I'll record commercials, and I'll record local station liners,
and we spend about five minutes catching up if we have time.
Kind of our brief catch up.
Yeah.
Sometimes we don't.
Sometimes there's not time.
Yeah.
But if there's time, we do.
But Amy goes, hey, it did this thing for Texas Monthly.
You should check out the video.
And it's actually the root of how Pimp and Joy came along.
And it's really cool.
You go to Bobbybillons.com and check out the video.
They did a fantastic job animating it.
And she hands it to me, and I'm watching it.
And then she's like, hey, what's wrong with you?
And a little bit, because she didn't know what was wrong with me?
She was like, what's wrong with you?
And I was like...
I didn't.
I thought he had, like, something in his eye.
Because, I mean, he watched it, but then his head was down and it wasn't coming up,
and he had a hat on, and I couldn't see.
So what's wrong with you?
And then I got even more embarrassed that I was crying because she was, like, scolding me.
And then I was like, I'm crying.
And so, but I'm going to play it for you now.
But I was like, for real crying.
It took me a minute.
And then Amy came over and I don't want to get out of my chair.
I was embarrassed.
Because then you made me cry.
She's like standing up hugging me as I'm sitting down.
You all cried and hugged in the office all by yourself?
Yeah.
We did.
Well, I did.
I wasn't trying to be.
It was a moment.
That's what happens in there, huh?
Every day.
All sorts of stuff.
You have no idea.
Every day we're just crying in there together.
But all seriousness is I want to play this for you because a lot of people wonder the root of where Pimp and Joy came from.
And this is that story.
Let's thank Texas Monthly.
because it's Amy's voice and they did a thing together,
but they put it up on, and they did animation for it,
you can see it at bobbybones.com.
And this is the actual, this is the story as told by Amy
about where Pimp and Joy came from.
Here you go.
I was born in Austin, Texas in 1981.
My mom was my best friend.
I went to her for everything.
So an opportunity came my way to join the Bobby Bone show,
which is a morning radio show.
And I remember going to my mom and saying,
you know, do you think this is something I should do?
She's like, now is the time to do it.
So she is the reason why I took the job.
In 2012, my mom was diagnosed with cancer.
The cancer came back a couple of different times,
but once it had returned on the outside of her skin
and the doctors were saying there is no cure,
that's when you're desperate for anything.
At one of her appointments at MD Anderson,
we went to the chapel to pray, as a lot of people do.
My prayer probably would have been like, okay, Lord, heal me if it was me.
But she prayed out loud and her prayer was the most selfless prayer I've ever heard.
And she just said, Lord, use this cancer for good because clearly I'm going through this for a reason.
And I don't want it to be for nothing.
So listeners were very invested in her story.
She would let me give updates.
People really cared about how she was doing.
And so one day I was like, Mom, you should start a talk.
Twitter. I jokingly typed in Judy B. Pimpin' Joy. And Bobby just said, hey, let's start having our
listeners use the hashtag Pimp and Joy and they can share with us on social media how they are choosing
joy for themselves. So that's how Pimp and Joy was born. We realized it was catching on. We had a
friend that did clothing and merchandising and she said, I really think like a Pimp and Joy hat could be
awesome and all the proceeds could go to whatever cause. And I have a picture of my mom. She wasn't
really doing great at this point. She's wearing these leopard pajamas she would always have on because
they were so comfortable. And then she's got on the Pimp and Joy hat. And that was her like approval
pick. She's like, I approve this hat. And about two weeks later, she passed away. We never got to
launch the hat while she was alive. But I think she would probably freak out.
to know that to this day,
Pimp and Joy has been able to donate
over $2 million to various causes.
I think it's brought our listeners together,
given my mom an answer to her prayer,
and it's really, it's my mom's legacy,
and now that we get to see her prayer answered
all the time is pretty cool,
because I know not a lot of people
get to experience something like this.
I will finish up our Mount Rushmore music coming up.
Eddie, our video producer, and Morgan number two will give us their.
They had to carve out in Mount Rushmore who they'd put on it.
So, their favorite musical artists.
Right now, though, one of my favorite segments on This Day in Country Music.
The Bobby Bones Show.
On This Day in Country Music.
I feel like I got to do a good job here.
You know what they call me?
Country Music's youngest historian.
A lot of pressure on that.
I love the history of country music.
On this day in 1987, George Strait was at number one on the country charts with my favorite.
George Strait song.
All my exes live in Texas.
That's your favorite.
Yeah, because it reminds me
of my grandma.
And Texas is a place
I didn't love to leave.
But all my exes live in Texas.
Amy, take it away.
And that's why I hang my hat in Tennessee.
You kind of relate to this song,
That's a little bit.
Not all of them, but some of...
Yeah, so I'd be like...
Some of my exes.
All my exes live in Texas.
Down, boom, bam, bam.
Yeah, Texas is the place that I still really love to be.
That's right.
Oh, there's more.
Oh, most of my exes live in Texas.
But here's where it gets crazy.
And some other exes live.
in Tennessee
And that's Bobby's life
That's true pretty much
All of them live in Texas in Tennessee
I guess I got a couple in Arkansas
But nobody
That's the third verse
Nobody liked me in Arkansas
I was like
They only barely sort of liking me in Texas
And come to thinking about
Not many people like me in Tennessee
To date either
But anyway
Back to our subject to the hand
The song was his 11th number one single
The song was included
On its 1987
Ocean
Front Property album.
There you go.
George Strait has 60 number
ones and has sold over
100 million records worldwide.
And on this day
in 1987, this is number one.
There you go.
And that's today in country music.
And Texas is the place
she goes right back into it.
It's Amy's favorite artist of all.
But all my exes
live in Texas.
And that's why
Hang my hat in Tennessee
Keep on going, George.
It's ironic, though, because he really hangs his hat in Texas.
Yeah, but he didn't write it, though.
Swapped the two.
It was written by Linda Schaefer and Sanger D. Schaefer.
Related?
Husband and a wife?
I remember that old Frio River
where I learned to swim.
Okay.
But it brings to my...
Another time where I wore my welcome thing.
My transcendental meditation.
That's today, country music.
That was.
On this day in country music.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
A 12-year-old named Darius Brown loves cats.
He loves dogs.
And whenever he goes to the shelter, he's like, man, they look sad.
They need something to make them look like attractive.
so people will want to adopt them.
So he went home, started making little bow ties,
and he donates them to the shelter so the dogs and cats can wear bow ties.
So they look like, hey, I'm a fun pet.
Adopt me.
That's cute.
Because I'll probably be like, you got a bowtie.
Yeah, I know.
I need a bowtie dog.
That's a good one.
See, little things like that make all the difference.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let's go.
Transmitting across America.
This is the Bobby Bones show.
That's right.
What's up?
What's up?
We do these things called the Mount Rushmore of our music.
And Mount Rushmore is four people, but in mine we do five because everybody always wants to add a bonus.
So my Mount Rushmore was Garth and John Mayer, Casey Mutzgraves, Ben Folds, and Old Dominion.
Amy's was George Strait, Tupac, Taylor Swift, Dirk's Fentley, and her fifth was Ed Shearin.
Lunchboxes was Eminem and Tina Turner, Zach Brown Band, Garth Brooks, and,
and Steve you wonder.
Right?
So these are our no rules.
Who's on your Mount Rushmore music right now?
We're going to go to our video producer Eddie.
Eddie. He's got four kids, two of his own and two foster children.
Been married for 13 years.
Wow.
Look at you.
Yeah.
So music for you is big deal.
You're a musician.
Music is a big part of my life.
Half the part of the raging idiots.
That's right.
The good musical part, actually.
Yeah.
Oh, thank you.
Thank you.
Yeah, you're welcome.
So who is on your Mount Rushmore music?
It may not be the most powerful Mount Rushmore or the most relatable, but I'm
I want to go number one Pearl Jam.
You love Pearl Jam.
And you can't do the whole band right, so we got to do...
You can do the whole band, but you just put the lead singer's face up down.
Okay.
All right, Pearl Jam, who else?
Pearl Jam is my number one.
Number two is Bob Dylan.
Yes, and how many times can a man...
I don't think a lot of people agree with me on this one.
It's an acquired taste.
It's like beer.
And I don't like beer.
But it's so good.
I'm fine on Bob Dylan.
I get his cultural thing.
Did you do get it?
His cultural significance, yes.
Listen to that, though.
So far I'm not taking a road trip to Eddie's mouth for sure.
Eddie's kind of sucks.
Hang it, Amy.
Who else you got?
And I have Jimmy Buffett.
Okay, okay.
Right in the middle.
Hawaiian shirt on.
Searching for my long shaker of salt.
Some people claim that there's a war.
I know
Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-ba
It could be my fault
Eddie, who else?
Len your Mount Rush?
Then I have Garth, the goat.
Is what she's doing next.
Anyone that doesn't put Garth is illegitimate in my mind.
Amy?
Yeah.
I think the Russians hack here is Amy.
Whatever.
You know I had to put George straight.
And I am putting Garth with a hat, obviously, and the microphone.
And the microphone.
And the microphone.
And who is your final person?
Tim McGraw, dude.
Stay humble and telling you are the biggest Tim McGraw fan.
I love Tim McGrath.
Oh, the door said, please say thank you.
Lady, thank you.
Amy, you're going to come visit?
Yeah, come visit the right side of it.
Hang on Pearl Jam, Bob Dylan.
Morgan number two, we're going to let you do yours.
I mean, hers, I think hers has made it like Play-Doh or something.
She's young.
She's like 25.
Who knows?
A baby shark?
Is that?
It's like a hologram.
Morgan number two, who is on your Mount Rushmore of music?
Gotta start off with my favorite, Shania Twain.
Okay, good, guys.
Who else is on your Mount Rushmore music?
Beyonce.
Not Destiny Child, Beyonce.
Yes, Beyonce.
I guess Destiny Shop was kind of pretty you, huh?
I had one of their albums, but I didn't listen to a lot of it.
Just one of the album that had like that big.
hit on it. She was like, I had that
whatever that thing was, it was silver,
a circle or silver thing.
They had songs on that. Reflected different colors.
Look at Kuda? No, a CD.
A CD.
All right, so far you have Shania and Beyonce.
Who else? Dixie Chicks.
Good one.
All right, so far I'm down.
It's good. You got
Shania, Beyonce, Dixie Chicks.
It takes a long time to carve these people out, so they got to mean a lot to you.
Who is at number four on?
your Mount Rushmore of music.
Gotta throw some guys in there.
I got Dan and Shea.
Wow.
You have to put both of them.
You have to pick one.
Oh, okay, pick one.
No, you just smash their faces together.
There's only two people.
Oh, yeah.
Do you like that where you morph the face together.
They look like one person.
Oh, I know.
You have to do Shay.
Because she's a lead singer.
But you could put Dan's hair on him.
That just looks like a weird person if you're picking.
to myself
And you get one more artist
to add to your Mount Rushmore music
your whole life, go ahead.
Well, he's blown up in the last few years.
It's Luke Combs.
This is the Morgan of Reddy's side right there.
She's younger than us.
I'm surprised she to put Lowell Nazek on there.
Or like Lizzie or whatever.
Lizzo?
Lizzo.
No Ariana Gras?
She's like, let me see what movie came out on Friday
that I like.
Thank you, Morgan, number two.
Yeah.
You can see all of our Mount Rushmore's and music.
Just go over to Bobby Bones.com.
I mean, how not cool am I, but I just called Lizzo Lizzie?
You're not cool.
But we knew that.
That just like defined me as not cool.
Yeah, but that's okay.
But I like Lizzo's music.
I do.
I try to jam out to it.
Are you sure you're not getting her and Lizzie McGuire mixed up?
Bobby Bones.
So what happened with your daughter?
So I realized, you know, after she was home from camp, we were going through some of her stuff,
and she had these Nikes that she took with her.
And we also included another pair of shoes that were probably about $10.
So we knew would be what we called the throwaway shoes.
And I guess she ended up wearing the Nikes to whatever activity they did,
and they got really messed up and muddy and she ended up throwing those away.
Even though I specifically told her before she left, these are Nikes.
But in her mind, I don't think she even understands a difference.
between these are Nikes and these are not.
Like some kids, they don't
have Nikes, you know? So I wanted
her to keep those.
And she got home and she had thrown away the Nikes.
And I was like, what?
Like, you have no concept of like,
where have I failed? Like, where have I gone wrong?
Like, y'all don't appreciate me. You know, I go off on
this whole like parenting thing of like, y'all don't
appreciate anything. So therefore, I don't
even know that we can buy y'all nice things.
And I didn't know what would be,
what would be the,
What would be the teaching moment here?
How can I teach her?
And I have no idea if this was the right thing to do.
But I made her pay me for them.
Okay.
Cash.
She had to get out of her wallet and she gave me money for the Nikes.
And I was like, when I got back down to my room, I was like, I don't even know if like that was like legit what I should have done.
But it's kind of nice to have cash.
We can go, Amy.
I like never have cash.
And I was like, I put it in my wallet and I was like, dang, I just went to the bank.
Well, lunchbox put his hands on us head.
I think you said that.
Amy, she doesn't understand what
Nike's are.
So you, as a parent, like she's coming from a,
she doesn't understand.
She just sees shoes and she thinks they're ruined.
You have to do a better job of explaining that these are expensive.
This was my moment of doing that.
But back up.
Hold on.
I hear what you're saying.
Lunchbox.
Had I not had a convert.
She is, she's 12 years old.
She's smart.
Had I not, I get that she doesn't understand, like, brands or anything.
And that, like, Nike's like a brand.
and like something that's nice and more expensive than other shoes.
But I sat down with her before she left when we were packing.
And I said, these are your throwaway shoes.
If you want to take your Nikes, these are not what you wear to do the stuff in.
And she wore those and she got them dirty and she didn't come home with them.
Had I not had that conversation with her, then I would not have made her pay.
Or whatever her punishment was going to be.
Like no Netflix, no tablet.
What do I take away?
And I thought about taking stuff away.
But then I was like, well,
maybe I use this as a moment to show her just how much these shoes are.
So I had her get out her piggy bank, which she has wallet from making, you know, from birthdays, like cash from birthdays and making bracelets and things.
So she busted out.
And I was like, this is how much.
I even, I got all her cash.
I said, this is how much Nike's are.
This is how much these $10 shoes are.
And I had the bills.
And I'm like, do you see the difference?
And then I said, now you can pay me that time.
Listen, I don't hate the idea.
I don't because, again, she's not going to do.
that again? Yeah, I hope not.
A backseat parent. It's easy
for me to sit here and go, this is what you
should have done. What if
you go, hey, a lot of kids would love
to have shoes like this. This is how much
they cost and we're going to go buy shoes
for other kids and
yeah, that's a good idea.
But again, I've had time to sit on this. Yeah, I
had no time to sit on it. It was like I was reacting in
the moment. All this happened up in her room
in one like, you know,
20 minute sweep. I literally
went down to my room. My husband wasn't even up there and I was
like, well. How much money are we talking? Well, I had her, I wanted to Google how much they were.
And then I thought, God, I'm ridiculous for even buying her these Nikes, you know? Because I don't know.
They were like probably $60. Oh, my God. She paid up the $60. Oh, my gosh.
And she paid, no, here's, but I'm kind of cool because I made her give me the 60. And I said, here, I'm going to give you back a 20 because they were old. Like, they're used long. They were brand new. And I took the 40.
So it was kind of like
We showed a deal
I thought it was a money learning lesson
And it was like
And then now I'm going to be like
And by the way
In the future when we're out shopping
And you're like oh I like these shoes
Like you're gonna
You and y'all are awesome
And y'all are doing your chores
And y'all like I want to
I want to buy you things
But we certainly don't spoil them
But now you're going to make me
Second guess if we get it for you
Because you're not going to respect it
I don't hate that lesson
Okay
And also there's no right and wrong
And now I have cats
Right, you're the parents.
And now you have cash.
No, there is right.
There is right and wrong in parenting.
We're all learning.
Are you sure?
Yeah, we're all learning.
I know we're all learning.
But sometimes we're going to be like, well, could I handle that better.
Why'd I yell?
You can go to Facebook and give your opinion on this.
