The Bobby Bones post-show pre-show.
Amy just walked in the studio
and she was a little frustrated.
She was like, oh my God.
What happened?
Well, I was recording spots and liners, and I sat there and went through the whole thing.
And then I look over, and I'm like, sweet, I only have one more liner to go.
And I was not recording.
You haven't recorded.
I didn't get the commercials and you didn't record them.
I was timing everything up.
You spoke to no one.
You just practiced basically.
Yes.
Yes.
So now I've got them down.
And when I go and do them again, it'll be fine.
But yeah, I was timing myself out, thought I had it all figured out.
The recordings to the left, so you don't really see.
it. But out of my peripheral vision,
sometimes I see, like, the lines
fluctuating, and I wasn't seeing any lines.
So I look over, nothing.
But my voice is
ready. Extra warm. Extra warm.
Which it was already warm because we've been working forever.
Anyway, it's fine. I've done that before
early in the morning. So frustrating.
Like 20-60-second commercials.
So you put in, like, 24, 25 minutes.
And because the commercial,
the screen's not right in front of your face, you don't,
you're like, oh, let me check and let me stop it.
And you look over and you never hit record.
You're like, oh, my God.
I mean, yeah.
Bigger problems in the world, but for a minute, that sucks.
Oh, yeah, I screamed so loud.
I for sure thought y'all heard me.
Nobody came to check on me or anything.
We didn't hear you.
Oh, I yelled.
We were in here yelling ourselves, though.
I could hear you.
We were recording a new parody called Idiot Papaw.
Okay, I almost came in and be like, people were trying to work around here.
Yeah.
Well, no, we were singing that.
We're working.
Yeah.
We did a Mi-Maw song, and people were like,
want you do a papaw song?
It's not fair.
They had a good point.
So to Indian Outlaw, we did Idiot Papaw.
It's on Instagram.
I saw on Instagram. It's funny.
Thank you.
So that's what we're doing.
Geriatric people!
That's what you heard.
I was screaming that in the microphone.
I mean, for us to sound good, we've got to be loud and clear.
Like a metal band.
Eddie, what were you saying about doing TV news?
Oh, Amy was talking about, you know,
when I was hitting record.
And when I first started news, I was a camera guy.
They sent me out to a fire.
And I hit record.
Every time I wasn't thinking I was
recording. So when I came back, all they got was me walking around and all the video that I was
supposed to shoot, I wasn't recording it. So they're like, where's the fire? It's just your feet
walking everywhere. I'm like, dang it. Rookie mistake. Was that early? Or as soon as I started
news. Lunchbox left, by the way, he had to get out of here. So he had to leave about three
quarters the way through the show. So that's not. That's why his chair's empty over there. If you
want to sit on it over there. There he is. Getting some text still. Here's one. Reading through
Me, Dancing with the Stars comments on Instagram.
Can we all take a moment to enjoy the fact that Bobby won?
Oh, you can't go over there.
They hate me over there.
Dance with the star?
Like the hardcore fans, they're so mad that I won still.
That's why I go over and troll them sometimes.
And not even troll them in a bad way.
I'm just like, how's everybody doing?
Signed the champ.
Hey, champ here.
Or they'll post a picture and I'll be like, oh, I can't wait to see this.
Sign the champ.
And someone came and said, don't you give up, don't you ever quit?
I said, no, because champs don't give up or quit.
Sign the champ.
That's right.
I had the champ.
So, boy, they go having hard over there.
I've never been the villain in a situation.
They just not like your style of dance?
They don't like it.
They don't think I took dance serious.
No one took it more serious than me.
Yeah, you were very serious, actually, for the record.
I mean, it was your job.
You wrote down every dance move.
They have no idea.
They have no idea what it's like.
Typical, just...
Hater mentality?
It doesn't matter.
I enjoyed the show.
I'm going back on the premiere episode,
so it'll be fun.
Got a good cast this year, which they're starting to leak some of them.
Have they announced the premiere yet?
16th.
Of Sep.
Yeah, because there's three days ago.
It sucks for me.
I missed it.
Bones, I'm missing all your stuff, like, just because I have direct TV.
My ABC's gone, and now CW's gone.
You're going to do something with CW?
I can't see any of that stuff.
I'm doing something with CW?
Yeah, did you have like a local thing?
I tried to go to my CW channel, and it was like nothing.
A local thing?
Yeah.
No.
You don't?
No.
I was like, well, that's another thing I'm not going to see that Bobby's doing.
Am I doing?
Are you making that up?
I thought you're doing some like TV interview or something.
I think it's already been a year.
Tomorrow?
Yeah.
They're coming in.
No.
They're doing an Iheart radio special on IHart Radio special on IHard Radio
Music Festival and they're interviewing me for like 45 minutes about that.
It's on the CW.
Gotcha.
Okay.
That's what I saw and I was like, man, I'm just not going to see anything anymore.
Oh, it'd be all right.
Unless I get another provider.
I see enough of this.
Well, no.
When I don't start, I'm not going to be able to see that unless they fix it.
That's true.
They got to fix it at some point, right?
Or they don't.
And then we just have to get a new provider.
That's crazy.
There's a whole platform that doesn't have one of the biggest channels.
Yeah, do a network that we've had our whole life.
That's true.
It's Disney, too.
What are we going to say over there?
Me?
I was just looking at the calendar.
I can't believe it's been a year since the last, since you premiered on Dancing and Stars.
Yeah.
At this point last year, I was working secretly.
Right.
And then in like a couple weeks it's going to be the premiere like a month.
Crazy.
Good Boys. That's the movie that Mike D.
went to see. I thought we throw a review in here real quick.
Good Boys is like elementary kids?
Yeah, like preteen, sixth grade.
Doing adult things.
Like Super Bad, but kids doing it.
Yeah, pretty much. It's like a prequel, pretty much.
Oh, to Super Bad?
Yeah.
But not really.
Not really.
Not the same kids anyway.
No, but it's kind of like the same story.
Same thing happens, but they're 12.
Is it for kids to watch?
No.
Oh, it's not.
It's R.
Oh, it is?
Yeah.
Is it funny?
It's pretty funny.
What do you get?
What do you give it?
It's like a three out of five.
So how old are the kids that are...
12?
They're 12, yeah.
Okay, so like, when you're a parent and your kid's a child actor,
I always wonder to this about child actors that have, like, you know,
roles of stuff we probably let our kids watch.
You're just, like, cool with your kids.
Working, yeah, probably.
Yeah, working, do what they got to do to work,
whether it's, like, stuff you may not let them normally watch.
But I guess you're probably a parent that doesn't care.
I don't know.
I just wondered about that.
Right, Eddie?
I don't care. You can do a parent that cares. No, doesn't care. Not that they don't care about their kids. Maybe that sort of stuff like doesn't, you're, you don't care that they may have some of that stuff like knowing that a little too young or too early. Not that you don't care. I'm saying that doesn't bother you. Or you approach it differently. I agree with her. Or maybe you just, maybe it does bother you, but it allows you that they need to work and get into their career more than they need to be kept from certain things and culture. Right. No, I agree. We're going to learn this together. We're all. I'm not coming at a place of judgment at all.
I'm saying, I should have finished my sentence, but they don't care.
I know they care about their kid, but I'm like, when I see kids acting on TV certain roles,
I'm like, oh, wow, like, I don't even let my kids watch that, but these kids are like acting.
Doing it.
Yeah, they're like doing it.
It is.
And you liked it?
Yeah, it was good.
Adults in the theater or kids?
Adults, yeah.
I haven't seen a preview before.
Is it a Jet Avatar movie or anything?
Seth Rogen produced it.
Okay.
And Amy saw a movie called True Story?
Yes.
Have you all ever heard of it?
Mm-mm.
Neither had I.
but it came out in 2015.
Oh, it's not new.
No, but my husband and I were looking for something to rent.
Like, the kids had their own movie thing going in the other rooms.
We were like, well, let's rent a movie that we don't have to watch with kids.
And it's with Jonah Hill and what's the guy that chopped off his arm for a hundred?
James Franco.
James Franco.
He's in it.
And it's based on a true story of this New York Times writer who, like, the guy, James Franco's character,
killed his wife and kids
and then when the police caught him
he gave him the New York Times writer's name
and said like oh let's say if it was you
the writer hi yeah I'm Bobby Bones
Oh he said it was a different person
Right he was like saying he was that person
Then but that got it in the news
And so then the New York Times person
Came to visit him in jail
And then he used him to teach him how to write
Have you seen this Mike?
I thought listen it got horrible
We checked the rotten tomatoes and it had...
I'm confused on just the description of the movie.
Maybe I'm not doing a good job.
How long ago did this take place?
The true story, I think, happened in the early 2000s or 90s or something.
And the movie came out in 2000.
It was a book first, I think.
And then they made a movie out of it.
But I thought the acting was really good.
I think it's crazy that it's real.
But what he would do is he would have the guy...
He told the guy...
I don't know who he is.
Are you confused about this whole thing?
I'm cute about the whole story.
I'm assuming you're talking about the killer.
told the reporter.
Yeah. The killer said, I want you to help.
Like, I'll give you my story.
In return, I want you to help me learn how to write.
But really, he didn't want to learn how to write.
He wanted to learn how to use words to manipulate people
when he got up on the stand to testify.
And he's, does that make sense?
I may not be watching this movie.
Oh, shoot.
When disgraced New York Times reporter, Michael Finkel,
meets accused killer Christian Longo,
who has taken Finkel's identity,
his investigation morphs into an unforgettable game of cat and mouse.
I don't know. I think I feel dumber.
Oh, shoot. It's good. That's why I was like, well, how did this only get?
Terrible reviews. I know. That's what I'm saying.
47% positive on Rotten Tomatoes.
But when you think about it, it's kind of crazy.
This guy manipulated this New York Times best seller got him to teach him how to use words
to get people to listen and manipulate it.
And then when he got up on the jury stand and was give it, he was using, like, give it.
He was using things that the journalist had taught him and manipulated people.
He didn't.
Is that supposed to spoiler?
Uh-oh.
It came out in 2015.
It's history, though.
Nobody has seen it.
It's a 10-year rule of movies.
Not in my house.
Forget it.
Y'all are watching it anyway.
You said it's horrible.
Like one time my brother told me that there's a movie called like 13 hours or 20-something
hours.
He's like, it's so good.
It's so good.
I'm not saying this is so good.
And I was like, this is the worst we've ever seen in my life.
It felt 23 hours long.
Let's back up and say.
It came out in 2015.
Uh-huh.
Which is not long enough for our review rule in the studio.
Well, whatever.
Nobody's going to watch it based on how I described it.
It's fine.
True.
I just saved you a lot of time.
Boom.
Did you save us time, though?
Long story short.
It's really sad, actually.
Story short.
Bones, that was in my head this morning when I was taking a shower.
Oh, yeah?
They're just like, why is it stuck in my head?
Morgan, number two, what did you do this weekend?
I had some girls over for some tacos on Friday, and then I went to a winery on Saturday.
Yeah, we saw your Instagram picture.
You were just down in a bottle of something, and Eddie's like, oh, she's at it.
Boom.
Blackberry wine.
It's the best wine in the world.
Can you chug wine?
No, you don't really want to.
You can, though, if you really want.
Yeah, but no.
But people don't chug wine?
No, not really.
You sip it.
Savor of the taste.
Does it taste bitter?
Yeah.
Yeah, some of it does.
Red or white.
Not the Blackberry, though.
It's got to give me some white claw.
It's what Ramundo likes.
It's actually not bad.
I think we're going to wrap.
Wait a minute.
I need to get out of here anyway.
You get anything that you want to say, Amy?
No, I think I'm done talking.
Ever heard of ambulance taxis?
In Russia, you can hire ambulance taxis,
which are luxury ambulances that cost $200 an hour,
and they will blast their sirens
and speed the passenger through traffic.
Well, that doesn't sound...
It's not really an ambulance for your hurt.
$200 an hour to get you place to place,
and they'll just turn on like,
it's not a bad idea.
But that's not legal.
It's not legal or safe.
It's Russia.
Yes, it is, both.
I was just thinking the day,
if you want anyone to, like,
hit you in your car,
it'd be an ambulance, right?
If an ambulance got into a wreck,
is that kind of a good thing?
You're just like,
all right, we can fix you right here if you're good,
if you're hurt.
As long as the paramedics aren't hurt.
Good point.
Because are they buckled up
when they're in the back working.
No.
Yeah.
But they have all the supplies they need right there
if anyone's hurt.
That's true.
I have a friend
that I was telling Amy this
that he was at his house
and he was in his car
behind another car
his wife's car in front of him
parked on the side of the street
and he sees some kids
come up and shake the door knob
and try to get in the car ahead of him
and he goes, whoa hey!
And yells at the kid
gets out of the car
the kid like comes up to him
turns out there are four kids
and one of the kids
pulls a gun
and shoo
shoots in his direction.
And he's like, oh my God.
And they drive off in this infinity.
And he remembers the license plate.
He sold the last three numbers.
And he was like, wow, I got shot at.
The infinity was in an accident.
Two of the kids died.
That stole the car.
They stole the car.
Right after that.
Yeah.
They stole that car and they got an accident.
I think two of them died.
It all happened with them like,
and he was telling me that.
He came over with the house yesterday.
I was like this whole day.
But he was like,
was like a little trauma from the shooting
somebody shot out of it
and then he's like you remember the license plate and the cops called and said hey
is this and the whole thing tracked back wild huh
crazy yeah that happened
all these kids are just going up to doors though
they're not breaking into cars they're just
I saw somebody look I saw somebody looking in the back of my Jeep
when I was coming out of the grocery store and just kind of looking at my back there
and I was just like whoa did you say something well I was walking towards him
and then he kind of walked away and I was like look
They're like, I don't have anything.
I don't know what he was looking at.
And there is no law against looking in the back of a Jeep.
Right.
So what am I going to do?
I had some bottle water, but I don't think he wanted that.
Maybe he's thirsty.
Maybe.
Yeah.
Thank you guys for hanging out.
We're going to get going here with Monday show.

Folks, it's your buddy and my.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let's go.
Transmitting across America.
Hey, welcome to Monday show.
Morning Studio.
Morning.
Glad everybody's here.
Amy, how are you?
Doing good.
How about you?
Good.
I think you should share your story about going to Kroger.
I think it's a fun one to start with.
Oh, fun one?
Being accused of being drunk.
Yeah.
Okay, so I'm at the self-checkout at Kroger, and I cannot figure it out.
I mean, sometimes it's just...
You can't find the code sometimes.
Sometimes it's just a swipe, right?
It's a hot mess.
I'm like, why didn't I just wait in the line and let somebody else check me out?
So I had to call the person over, like the little, you know, attending, I don't know,
the customer service person that helps with self-checkout.
And after we hung out for a while by the machine, she basically was like, you're not driving, are you?
That's what she said.
And I was like, excuse me?
She's like, you're not driving.
Are you driving?
And I was like, yeah, I'm driving.
But she was insinuating that she thought I had been drinking because I couldn't figure out this machine.
and that I shouldn't drive.
So what did she say when you said, I am driving?
Yeah.
Citizens arrest? That's what I would have.
Yeah. Citizens arrest.
No, I said I haven't had anything to drink.
I don't know what you're talking about.
And she was like, oh, I mean, she definitely was just like, okay, my bad.
She didn't really care.
She wasn't super apologetic or anything.
But I was like, are you telling me that normal people, sober people can't figure out this machine?
Oh, you said that.
No, in my head.
In my head.
In my head.
That's how I do a lot of things too.
I just say it in my head.
I do a lot of things in my head.
But I just was like, is she for real?
This is horrible customer service.
How old was she?
55.
Oh, okay.
We're okay then.
If she's younger, like 16 or, or, you know.
And she's like, are you driving?
Yeah.
Yeah, no, I felt like it was even worse because it was coming from like an experienced woman and she was concerned and being motherly.
And I was like, am I that, is this that complicated to her she thinks I'm tipsy?
machine is broken.
Sometimes you are a little extra.
I could see. I mean, I dropped a few things.
Of course, you know how I don't get a basket?
And, like, I had come over there, I guess,
with all the things in my arm,
because I'm only going for one thing.
And then I pick it up, and then I end up adding more.
And then sometimes I put stuff in my four things toot,
my little tote, like because...
It looks like she's stealing it.
It looks like I'm stealing.
But it's really that I found out I needed other things,
so then I'm pulling items out on my tote.
And there are some segments we'll finish on the show,
and I go, Amy, you're not driving after the show, are you?
See?
I mean, I guess I could just say I don't blame her, but I was offended.
Because I was totally sober and driving.
Totally.
Totally.
All right.
Hey, coming up, lunchbox, we'll call and try to buy Kane Brown's truck.
Remember the big old truck?
Yeah.
We have that coming up.
So hang out and welcome to Monday morning's Bobby Bone Show.
It's the Bobby Bone Show.
Big Three Stories.
Let's go over to our producer, Raimundo.
Ramundo, what you got over there?
Yeah, in sports in Austin, Texas, former NFL and college football star,
Cedric Benson died in a motorcycle crash.
He was 36 years old.
In Northern California, they've been searching for that experienced hiker that went missing.
After an intense three-day search, he was found dead.
His family wanted to thank all the volunteers and search teams for their help.
And finally, in airline news, over the weekend, there was a computer glitch.
It affected flights across the country, delays, cancellations.
Everything is back up and running now.
Back to you, Bones.
All right, that's the news.
Coming up, a couple of things.
Lunchbox's baby is jealous of Eddie's baby, sort of.
We'll talk about that.
And then also, Lunchbox tries to buy Kane Brown's truck.
You know the one he put on Instagram?
He calls and tries to make the purchase for himself.
We'll do both of those segments coming up next here on the Bobby Bone Show.
So Eddie, our video producer, has two kids, and then he is fostering two kids as well.
Correct.
And one of the kids that you're fostering, and by the way, they're siblings.
Yes.
One of them's a baby.
Baby.
I think he's seven months now?
So I heard it's getting a little competitive between your foster baby and lunchbox's baby.
Well, I didn't think it was, but I mean, I shot a video of my seven-month-old foster baby catching a ball.
Like a champ, I really toss him a little bouncy ball and he catches it, like, no problem.
Yeah.
And showed it to lunchbox, and he was like, hmm, so he can catch.
And I was like, yeah, how cool is it?
He's like, my baby can't catch.
So he said immediately, he's like, I'm going to practice today.
He's got to learn how to catch.
I'm like, don't go so hard on the kid.
Are you jealous that your baby?
How old your baby?
My baby is 13 months, so.
Oh, wow.
Exactly.
Is he behind?
That's what I'm thinking.
Like, if Eddie's little foster kid is already catching a ball at seven months old,
either A, he has a future professional athlete and he needs to concentrate solely on that kid,
or my kid needs to step it up.
So I went home and I started practicing.
Like, I thought, and he just lets it hit him right in the face.
And I do not understand it.
I'm like, dude, catch it with your hands.
Like, I mean, Eddie, when he showed me the video,
The kid really does.
Just snatch it.
He's like,
blah.
And I'm like,
I didn't know if it was fake,
but Eddie insists it's real.
And so I was like,
I got to get on my kid.
And I had to talk with my kid.
I said,
dude,
you are going to be the laughing stock of your school
if you don't start catching things.
He told him that.
Yes.
And he still doesn't catch it though.
He doesn't,
I mean,
he just,
he just.
He hits her right in the face.
I just feel like Lunchbox focuses so much
on like the progress of his kid.
Yeah,
I want my kid to be the best of the best.
And so if a seven-month-old
is catching balls, a 13-month-old
should be throwing balls, catching it, and everything.
It's like double the age.
Yeah, exactly.
He should be doubly advanced.
I mean, lunchbox, my son is nine and he can't catch.
It's fine.
So what do we think we'll do?
Put him in a little UFC fight, two babies.
Oh, I think my baby would definitely take him out.
Oh, you're crazy.
You're crazy because mine can actually stand up.
Paper.
Live stream.
My kid can go for the top row.
Facebook Live.
Eddie, what's happening with the kids?
It's good, man.
It's good.
We, hi, man, it's just starting to feel more normal and normal.
How long have those two foster kids been with you now?
About six months.
Okay.
And it's just one of those things where, like, from the very beginning, I felt like, wow, this is just crazy, crazy addition to my family.
I don't know how we're going to do it.
I don't know how we're going to do it.
And then now it just seems like, well, that's just our life.
It's normal.
And everything's just smooth.
Did you get all the stuff from Walmart?
I have not yet.
we were going to do kind of back-to-school stuff for him,
but the baby really doesn't get anything from that.
So we're going to figure out how to do it.
Maybe it's in the baby to baseball camp.
I mean, the baby's got some kind of talent.
Pretty cool.
Lunchbox is hating over there.
He is.
He's a little jealous, and I didn't mean for that to be.
I mean, like, how far, like, do you throw it hard?
I mean, I don't know.
Are you standing right there and you just kind of drop in his lap?
I'm like three feet away, and I toss it to him and he catches it.
Pretty amazing.
Well, thanks for the update.
Yeah, man.
Good luck.
Thank you.
How long do you think the babies will be with you, the kids?
Oh, boy.
I mean, we're looking, I just, I don't see anything in the near future.
I feel like we're going to have them for a little while longer.
Things not going well with their real parents?
I think just the process is slow, is slower than we thought.
Yeah.
And they're seeing a lot of hope in the parents.
So they're giving them time to get their stuff together.
So Kane Brown put his truck up on his Instagram.
I was like, I'm selling this thing.
It's jacked up.
How much you want for it?
$120,000.
So Lunchbox tried to call and buy this truck from Kane.
Brown. Have you seen the picture of it, Eddie?
No. How much is this truck?
It's a monster. It's jacked up.
It's like $120,000.
It's got lights and everything.
Tricked out. Like it's not your normal truck.
Like you, if you're driving that, you're getting attention.
And when I call, it's not Kane Brown. It's his business partner because it says
Kane Brown, you will not deal with Kane Brown when you try to buy this truck.
You will deal with me. But man, let me tell you that truck is awesome.
So Lunchbox calls here and tries to buy it and apparently slips in some cane.
brown lyrics during this.
All right, here we go.
Oh, hey, this is Jason.
Yeah, I saw your call, man.
I'm right in the middle of it.
What you got for?
Oh, my man, my man, man, Jason Gibble here,
businessman making business deals trying to get that money.
I was trying to get some more information on that truck you're selling.
Okay.
Why does it have Kanye on the front?
Says Kane, because that's whose truck it is.
No freaking way.
Yeah, that's his logo.
So he's still trying to decide if he wants to sell it or not.
Is Kane there with you right now?
No, I mean, he's at his house, but
What if, like, I bought it and I got to give Kane a ride in his truck?
Kane's not going to be a part of the transaction at all.
It's being a business manager.
Man, this is perfect.
This is perfect.
You know what I'm saying?
Buddy, I can't do anything for you on it.
So you're telling me Kane Brown, like, rode in that truck?
Buddy, it's his truck.
Can I come look at it today?
Buddy, I'm trying to tell you.
The truck is not for sale or not.
He hasn't decided if you want to sell you it or not.
All right, man.
It wasn't.
He's having thought.
All right.
Sounds good.
I'll see you in about an hour.
So apparently, Cain Brown,
after he put it up and they started getting, like, people calling about it,
he was like, maybe I don't want to sell it.
So now he doesn't know if it's for sale.
Oh, yeah.
It's kind of like you're ready to let it go,
but then when so many people think it's so awesome,
you want to keep it.
Like people start showing interest.
Girl hates a date.
Yeah.
Yeah, you're thinking about breaking up with them,
and then other guys are like, she's so awesome, hot, la la.
I did think that what's Kanye's name on the front?
That's funny.
Really funny.
And then at one point where lunchbox sounds like a cat going perfect.
It's actually Kane Brown lyrics.
This is perfect.
This is perfect.
I mean, I was trying to sound like I had beat and rhythm like, you know, the song, but I thought I slid in there kind of slide.
I didn't know he pulled his truck back, though.
Well, me neither.
I guess you should have made him an offer.
He can't refuse lunchbox.
Quarter mill.
It's not real anyway.
It's not a real call anyway.
Exactly.
What's a quarter mill?
25.
$250,000.
A quarter.
Come on!
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Tell me something good.
Amazon is starting a new policy where unsold merchandise will be donated instead of thrown away.
They used to have stuff on their website.
It doesn't sell.
They just throw it out.
Throw it in the trash.
What a waste.
But they said, guys, we should be doing something with this stuff.
So now when it doesn't get sold, non-profit organizations will get it.
That's great.
You know, I love when little companies like Amazon start to make a little difference.
A little mom and pop stores.
You know, a little place trying to make it, make it.
Maybe the big places will see that, too, and it'll trickle up.
Yeah, that's a good one.
That's what it's all about right there.
Bobby Bone Show.
Story of the day.
This story comes with us from Viter, Texas.
A 20-year-old man got out of jail.
He's walking home, and he's walking by a fire station.
He looks, and one of the bay doors is open.
And they got a little EMS truck sitting there, and he goes,
and I bet the keys are in there, and I can use a ride home.
Goes up, hops in the little EMS truck and drives it.
And here come the police.
Woo!
Back to Jail he goes.
Yeah, kind of hard to get away
an EMS truck.
Yeah, a little bit.
And do you probably turn the sirens on,
though, just if you're doing it
like you got to, right?
Yeah.
Because you probably turn to sirens
Right, might as well.
It's not probably not an extra charge for that, is it?
For fun?
I don't need plenty of extra time on your sentence.
Right, I mean, you stole it might as well.
Yeah.
I'm lunchbox.
That's your bonehead story of the day.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.

Sugar.
And egg white.
Golly, I know that there's egg whites in a rum-rum-y-jim-fizzy or something.

All right, so what happened to you?
So we were out to eat,
and we ordered advertisers and the whole meal
and the whole thing,
and it was me and my husband and the kids.
And when we got the bill,
we realized they didn't charge us.
for the appetizers.
And so we told our waiter, like, hey, I think you left off the appetizer.
And he was like, don't worry about it.
So do you pay?
Do you try to pay for the appetizer?
Or then, is that the waiter wanting the tip of the, like, say the appetizer was $10.
So then do we give that $10 to the waiter?
Or then do we just tip on what our actual bill is that's on the piece of paper?
Interesting.
Yeah.
It's a good question.
Now, as someone who weighed at tables for a while, I would say the protocol is,
You just throw them an extra buck or so tip.
Okay.
If it was $10, you just took the 10% on top of that.
Right.
So if you're going to tip $7 for your tip, give him another buck.
Make it eight.
Okay.
I would say that you don't pay for the full appetizer.
I think you may be tip based on what it would cost on your bill.
Huh.
And it's 20%, right?
Yeah.
That's what you guys do.
Yeah, 20.
On average.
Yeah.
But when he says, don't worry about it.
Right.
If he says, don't worry about it, is that his way of him hoping he gets what the
appetizer cost or he's just lazy, doesn't want to go back to the computer and enter it in.
He doesn't want to get in trouble because he forgot to do it.
And he's being nice by hooking you up with the free appetizer, which maybe they had extra anyway.
Cool.
Yeah.
So we went ahead and paid the price of the appetizer to the later.
Oh, the full price.
Well, look at you.
Wow.
Whoa.
Very nice.
We were planning on paying it anyways.
Well, and then there's the predicament of do you even tell them that they left the
appetizer off the bill?
That's where you messed up.
No.
I did.
We did.
So then we felt like, okay.
we can just throw him a little bone and we were out this money anyway.
We knew we ordered it.
So we paid it.
Well, that's how when Eddie and I went to dinner in Austin, a listener paid for our dinner.
And I was like, well, now I can't give my credit card a tip.
Yeah.
So I just basically paid for almost a full meal in tip.
Because I saved money anyway.
Right.
Because I didn't have to pay full meal and tip.
You were going to pay for the meal.
And tip.
And tip.
And I tip like 30%.
And so I think the bill was like 60 bucks and I had it in cash.
So I said, here, you take all this.
Everybody won.
She got a big tip.
We got a cheaper meal because the listener paid for it.
And that listener was awesome, and, you know, they got to do something nice.
Win, win, win.
Yeah.
So I think you did the right.
I think you did it above and beyond.
Now I know.
We could have just done an extra dollar.
Well, no, you did the right thing.
I like that.
What do you tip normally?
Honestly, what do you tip?
20%.
Good for you.
Eddie, what do you tip?
20.
Okay.
Lunchbox?
20% if they're excellent.
What do you tip?
Standard.
17.
How do you break that down if you say 17?
You got a calculator on your phone.
Oh, wow, wow, wow.
Interesting.
Okay.
What do you do?
30.
He just said 30.
Oh, he said 30?
I didn't hear that.
Sometimes.
40?
Sometimes.
Stop.
40%!
You said you went 100.
I've done that before.
What?
Yeah.
Listen, if I'm in a good place, why can't I help other people be in a good place?
I think that that's awesome.
Yeah.
One of my favorites is when he said that, and Lady A was in here.
And Dave goes,
do you buy a bagel and you pay 100% tip?
So Dave, Dave Haywood and I from Lady Air Friends.
And he hit me a couple weeks ago.
He was like, hey, man, this is our conversation.
I've really been tipping a lot more.
He goes, we're blessed, so we should be able to bless other people too.
Like, send me a, just a text of us just talking.
Really?
Yeah.
I'm just a big believer in that.
Like, I've been blessed in a lot of ways, and I wasn't always, and I had to depend
on other people for tips just to pay, you know, car payment or insurance.
So, yeah, I'm doing okay.
why can I help other people do okay
So yeah 20%
I don't even do 20%
It's too low now
Yeah
I'm in a good place
I'm gonna help other people be in a good place
Even if you have bad service
You don't
It's not their fault
I feel like it's not their fault
Because I would at times
Get bad service
And it wasn't my fault
Kitchen was messed up
The cook didn't cook something right
It always get blamed on me
But I was pretty good at what I did
And people would penalize me and go
You know what no tip for you
But it wasn't my fault
And I still gotta go home
And I still gotta pay
You know
I gotta buy a new set of tires
for my Pontiac Sunfire.
So it's tough.
So, yeah, that's why when you go,
if it's the excellent,
it's not their fault.
And sometimes they give you bad attitude
or you ask for more salsa
and they don't bring it to you.
Maybe they're having a bad day.
Well, one of my friends went out once
and he was waiting tables
and he just heard his dad died.
And he had to go,
and he was super bummed
and had a bet.
And he was like, he came out
and he got tipped pretty good that day.
And he was like,
I will never judge a waiter
based on their attitude
because I remember going once
and having the worst attitude
because I just got some terrible news,
but still had to finish working that day.
And I'll never judge someone based on their surface attitude
because I went through the same thing
and people probably thought I was that guy
and people still took care of me.
Yeah.
That's just a good life lesson with everyone you meet.
Yeah.
So I wish people could all do service industry at some point
because you learn a lot about yourself
and you learn a lot about other people.

Here's Amy's
pile of stories.
So Taylor Swift has been
dropping a bunch of hints
that the Dixie Chicks
are going to appear on her new album lover
and now she's finally
confirmed the news.
She revealed that the track
like the whole track list for the record
and it's coming out Friday,
18 songs,
including Dixie Chicks on Soon You'll Get Better.
Yeah, I'm excited about that.
Me too.
I'm not a big Taylor fan music.
I like it fine.
Oh, I love to.
I'm a dude.
What do you want for me?
But I love the Dixie Chicks.
I'll actually, I thought the song was out this morning and I searched to see if I could find
it, but it comes out Friday.
So that's cool.
What else you got?
I'm excited to hear it.
So this woman, she used a 34-year-old free pass to enter Disneyland.
So back in the day, she went to Disneyland when she was 14 and she won a free pass while
she was there.
Well, then it got lost in a box of keepsakes.
And, I mean, she'd even gone back to Disneyland since, but forgot she had a free ticket.
Well, she found the free ticket and decided to go there.
And when she went in to see if they would take it, they were like, yep, we'll honor that, even though
34 years ago.
That's cool.
She's a total grown adult now.
I just thought that was like a really sweet story.
Linky-A Disneyland.
Smart cars, they're collecting more data from you than you think.
And car dealerships, they're not going to really tell you that's what's happening if you're
getting a new car.
They never tell us when they're collecting our data.
But yes, they're constantly collecting data and like everything, beaming back to car companies.
I mean, so much that like your seat, that you're sitting in when you're driving,
like it can detect how much you weigh.
And if you're gaining weight, they'll know.
Like everything about you and where you go, your habits and what you do and all the stuff.
Anything we have that's connected to anything is collecting everything.
Yeah.
The Netflix shows we watch.
The smart cars, the phone, the apps were on.
If it's connected to something to a network, they're taking all of our information.
And more than they're just even admitting they're taking.
If you don't think they're taking everything and people are watching,
through your cameras and listening on your microphones.
Yeah, they're listening to me right now.
They're probably going to kill me when I leave here.
People are listening to you right now.
Well, we're also on the radio.
But there are ways to turn off on Star and other things that collect data, but just most
people don't.
They're just like, whatever.
Forget it.
I'm guilty of that, too.
I actually would like it if I sat down to my car every day and it would be like, whoa,
do you eat a lot last night?
No, you wouldn't.
It was like the new version of Kit.
Oh, Amy?
Night Rider.
A little too many potatoes last night?
All right, there you go.
By the way, November 23rd, the Raging Idiots Comedy Show will be in Birmingham, Alabama.
We're announcing this right now at Alabama Theater.
Tickets go on sell Friday of this week at Raging Idiots.com at 10 Central.
So Birmingham, Alabama, that's kind of the spot we could go to if you were in Tuscaloosa or Nashville or Birmingham.
It was kind of that spot.
So tickets and sell Friday at Raging Idiots.com.
And that's Amy's Pile.
There we go.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So there's this little boy, Cooper.
turning five years old. And for his birthday, his mom was like, hey, Cooper, what do you want for your
birthday? And he said, I want to work at Target. Like, work there. So his mom must go to Target a lot.
Yeah. But I mean, it's not that he wanted something from Target or anything. He wanted to work there.
So she started thinking about how could I make this happen? So she reached out to the target that
she goes to in Ohio and they said that they would figure it out. And they went above and beyond.
They made his wish come true. They let him scan products with a scan gun. He pushed a stock cart.
They gave him an employee discount on toys before he checked out for his shift.
I mean, they even decorated a corner of the store with balloons and a birthday banner,
which it's so crazy that I saw this story too because one of our listeners has emailed me,
Melissa Johnson, and she said she recently threw her kid a birthday party at Target 2,
and they got to have like a silly string fight in the aisle.
Is that a thing?
I guess it's like a thing now.
She said they had a three-tier target birthday cake and I don't know.
I didn't know targets.
Like if you just, you never know what they'll do if you just ask.
because they're so friendly there.
I think it's funny how you just drop somebody's name.
You sounded like a politician and, you know, and they're in a debate.
They're like, you know, I was just talking to my friend old Wilbur Winston.
You know, he lives in Raleigh.
He grew up and he's been, yeah.
Shout out, Melissa Johnson.
Do you know her?
I just, no, I literally just checked the email and she just showed me pictures.
And I was like, this party looks amazing.
I was like, how did you do that?
And I don't know.
Her Instagram is best friends for frosting.
I went to it.
She has lots of, like, party ideas.
And I'm like, look at you, Mom.
So, no, that wasn't a name drop.
I like that.
Literally a listener emailed me.
All right, there you go.
The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Morgan number two, 30 second skinny.
The CMA Awards are on November 13th,
and they just announced that Carrie Underwood will host
with special guest host, Reba McIntyre, and Dolly Parton.
I love it.
Love it.
I love it.
And I like how they put special guest host.
Because this is what they put on me for CMA Fest.
And I was like, am I the losers?
I just can't be announced as a real host.
And if Dolly and Reba are getting into two, that's the kind of company I like to be in.
I love that for the show, though.
That'd be real.
It's just three amazing, one, hosts, artists, entertainers, as they say, I'm here for it.
What else?
Eric Church is on his double-down tour right now, and he's performing in the same city back-to-back,
and it's something he's never going to do again.
Yeah, I saw that he said it was a bit much.
He has no opener either, by the way.
He's doing two nights, same city.
In the no opener.
Wow.
It's a lot.
Yeah.
All right.
And then Kane Brown will be joining us in Vegas for the I Heart Radio
Music Festival.
He's going to be taking the stage with Marshmallow for their song,
One Thing Right.
Jam.
I played every dance party.
So good.
One thing right.
You.
Yeah, it's a jam.
And so tickets first are on sale for that right now at iHeartRadio.com slash festival.
All right.
Thank you, Morgan.
Number two.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let me go.
This is a.
Let's go over to Amy for the morning corny.
Here we go.
The morning corny.
What do you call two spiders who just got married?
What do you call two spiders who just got married?
Newly webs.
Nice.
Yeah, pretty good.
Yeah.
Very nice, Amy.
Very good.
That was the morning corny.
Let me go over and talk to Barry in Oklahoma City.
It's on the phone right now.
Barry, what's happening, bro?
Thanks for hanging out with the Bobby Bone Show.
No problem, man. Glad to talk to you.
Thanks, love.
Sitting here in Oklahoma City, fixing to go to work.
What do you want to say, bud?
I just wanted to tell you guys, I've been listening now for a while.
My wife turned you guys on to me, and you start my day off good.
I get a smile on my way in.
I like the good news.
I think you are hilarious.
And just wanted to thank you all for what you do.
Thanks, man.
When you first had the show put on and kind of force upon you, were you like, who is
are these bozos?
Well, you know, I'm an old rocker, you know, and I thought, okay, I'll give it a shot because my
wife really wanted me too. She said, these guys are great. And sure enough, first day,
I got to work, just laughing my butt off. And I thought, okay, I found me a new morning
routine right here. I appreciate that. Well, thank you for calling. I hope you have an awesome day.
You too, man. Take care.
See you, boy.
Hey, tomorrow we will do a fantasy draft. It's a Tuesday. Tomorrow we do the drafts on Tuesday and
Thursday. And tomorrow we will
draft our favorite TV
theme songs. For example,
like this will be Monday Night Football theme songs.
It's a good one.
Maybe
Cheers.
Ooh, classic.
You want to go where
everybody knows your name.
Bum, bum, bum, bum,
and they're always glad you came.
Bum, bum, bum, I want to go
where people.
There you go. We got the rest.
Okay. So those are options.
You know what I'm saying?
It can be songs without even words on them.
Like lost.
Ooh.
Oh, that kind of sounds like a motorcycle.
It's just sitting.
In idle.
It's just idle.
So that'll be tomorrow.
I tell you what I had to do yesterday.
I'm out and I'm in the backyard with the dog and have a swim pool back there.
And the dog doesn't like going to swim pool.
I can't swim.
It's a bulldog.
And bulldogs have a lot of skin.
Their noses are pressed into the front of their feet.
face so they can't even swim because they have to put their head straight up in the air to swim.
Oh, right, right, right. And think about that. They're very top heavy. So Bulldogs generally don't swim.
That's why they're on life jackets if you see them on the internet mostly. And he never gets in the water.
If a life jacket, he'll occasionally get in. But I'm sitting on the chair and I'm watching him because I don't want him to fall in.
And I'm like, well, he's probably like 20 feet away. Got an eyeball on him like a good single dad would.
And all of a sudden, bosh, into the pool. He slips in the pool.
I have my phone in my pocket
I got my wallet, my pants
I got my shoes on
and I'm like
I take off like Baywatch
slow-mo
I jump in the pool
and he's sinking like a lead weight man
I go in
I scoop him up
I lift him up
holding above my head
and I didn't do that
but I lift up I saved him
I saved him
I saved the dog
wow he wasn't even
he wasn't even happy
he was like
man
What are you doing? I was swimming.
I was having a good time.
He went down quick, though.
Yeah, really.
I think back to it, I didn't even think.
If I would have, I would have taken point three seconds
to take him a wallet, my phone out of my pants.
Because it had been like, pull, pull, jump.
It was just like, up, feet don't fail me now.
And so the guy slept in.
He just kind of slipped.
Yes.
So he wasn't running after anything.
No, he was just looking in on the side and went,
just slipped, boom, right in.
And so.
You're a hero.
I'm a hero to animals big and small.
I'm like the aqua man for puppies
Aquaman
I'm like
Fido Baywatch
Do you feel like y'all are now
at another level in your relationship
given that you didn't even think
You just
No
He wasn't very
Again he wasn't appreciative
There's a
On my instant story
It's still up on my Instagram story
Where I'm in full clothes
I'm in the pool
My phone was in my pocket
So I pull it out in the audio
It was all like garbled
And I'm like well I just saved my dog
And he's like just going, like shaking it off, like nothing ever happened.
But yeah, I'm in, like a sweat, you know, a hoodie top and pants and, uh, no.
But.
How's the phone?
It won't charge.
It wouldn't charge last night.
Oh, no.
So it got to about 5% and I plugged it in and it won't charge.
They see these things are waterproof.
Wait, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Did you put it in rice?
No, but they say they're waterproof.
Again, you shouldn't have to put it in rice if they're waterproof.
Is that the new one?
What is that the 10?
Yeah.
And so I, uh, I'm like, yeah.
I'm like, all right, just plug it in.
It charged for like one second.
So what I have in my house, though, is one of those where you lay it on the charger.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
And it actually would work a little bit.
So I kept taking it off and putting it back on.
Taking it off, put it back on.
I think I'm like 69% right now.
And so...
I mean, you're probably at 70, but you just wanted to say that.
What's up?
And so...
He's really at 80.
That was my night.
I saved the dog.
We hung out, and I'm a hero.
Listen, I don't like saying I'm a hero.
But I mean, it is what it is.
It is.
I saved his life.
Let us call you that.
Okay.
go ahead. You're a hero, man. My hero to puppies every
Yeah, you are. Thank you very much. So that
was a little dramatic, though. We went to
El Paso. I'll tell you, so
we played a show in Amarillo. It's
fantastic. Played a show in El Paso
is fantastic, but, you know, we get to El Paso, and those shootings
happened just two weeks ago. About two weeks?
Yeah, a little over two weeks. And
we could tell, because Eddie and now we were
talking to people before the show, it was heavy
there still, and it should have been.
And so we were like, oh man, what's going to happen
here? And so I did something I had never
done before is I just went out and I was still in my sweats and stuff. I went out before the show
before the opening act went on. I was like, hey guys, like we are, first of all, we're here to
acknowledge the pain that you guys are going through and you may not have laughed in two weeks,
but it's okay to laugh. Like tonight we're here, we're going to have fun, we're going to laugh.
And they were a fantastic crowd, but it's heavy. It was heavy there. I felt bad for them.
And so, yeah, went out and people were asking how the show went in El Paso, because
that big, big thing that happened there.
Wonderful people.
And I think they weren't looking for something like that.
Because I was like, hey, you're going to feel weird laughing for a second.
It's always tough to go, okay, let me have a little bit of joy when everybody else is so sad and down.
Yeah.
But went out and had a good talk with them before the show, and it was great.
Yeah.
So I also saw that story about the guy whose wife had died in the shooting and they didn't have any family.
So he was like, will people please come to this funeral?
and so
like tons
hundreds of people
showed up
in El Paso
the line of supporters
eventually spanned
several blocks
and grew to nearly
1,000 people
a group of motorcyclists
that included
several veterans
stood at attention
while holding American flags
later neighbors
set up a buffet line
for supporters
I'll have goosebumps
and I saw him
on the news
just going
we don't have any family
and I lost her
and nobody's going to be
at the funeral
and then
I think this is the day before we got there.
Yeah.
Packed it out.
Wow.
That's amazing.
They're hurting, but they're also giving at the same time, like the town, people.
So really had just a wonderful weekend period.
But what a great group of folks in El Paso.
We also did this bit.
I told Eddie, I was like, I want to do this bit at the first part of our set.
We went on and we couldn't just go on and do funny without acknowledging that it's okay to laugh.
And this is your first time to see funny.
but I was like I want to do something super funny
So I went to Eddie I said hey
I want to say something special to the people
As a joke I went in our comedy set
Because once we're on it's comedy time
We don't you comedy show
Because you can't really mix the two
You can't go sad and then listen to a joke
So I went up and I said
See if you remember this
Yeah I said
I don't know can you say this on the radio
Can I say that on radio? Do you know what I said?
I can't say it on the radio
I'll whisper on mics here
That will.
So I go up and...
Hold on, let me talk so they don't hear it.
I can say that?
Okay.
So I go up and this is my bit
because you'll know what it is.
And I'm like, El Paso!
And they're ready.
I say,
I don't know my Spanish.
But Eddie told me
that I should say this
because this is like a big warm,
fond greeting
and I'm so happy to be here.
And I said,
Yo soy on...
Come on.
Pendejo.
You know what that means?
I said, I think this is my...
This is my Eddie.
They told me to say to you guys, y'all soo en Pondejo.
Mm-hmm.
Which means.
And they started cheering.
They were laughing so hard.
They were laughing.
You were saying something about yourself that you're like a, you're like a butt.
Like a dummy.
Yeah.
But I'm like, he said this means welcome.
Right.
And I said, and they are, they're like, ah!
And I'm in, I mean, I came home with the idea, but I didn't like I did.
And it was really funny.
And then they laughed and then away we went at the show.
Good one.
Thank you.
Way to break the ice.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Yeah.
It was funny. I was pretty proud of myself.
I...
You can hit that up in all your
heavily Spanish.
Well, I just set it on the air so we can't pull that bit off again.
Right. But if we're ever in France, you can do it
in French or something. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oh!
Uh-huh.
Wee-we.
On my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones, I rarely put up
material that we do during comedy music shows because
you don't laugh a second time if you
hear the joke the first time. Right.
But I put up a song that we wrote, like right before I went on stage.
Just a little dopey song. You can check it out.

See, FCC is fine.
Jimmy come alive
and the Walking Dead,
each six figures
over their use
of emergency tones.
Don't play one, Ray,
as a reference in this bit.
Mm-mm.
Got fined a million dollars
a couple years ago.
Didn't mean to.
Didn't mean to.
It's all I'm going to say
about that right here.
We don't talk about that much.
Uh-uh.
But the FCC,
by the way,
love them.
You're listening right now, FCC.
Shout out.
Good people out there.
Love you so much.
FCC IRS, love you both.
No problems here.
Just throw everybody.
Very good.
They find Jimmy Kimmel $395,000 from misusing the tone.
And the Walking Dead got fined $104,000 for using a tone.
Which still leaves me as the king dingling of tones.
Yeah.
Getting fined $1 million.
I remember we couldn't talk about that forever.
Can't even mention it.
And I'm watching the TV.
and we're during a show,
and my picture goes up on the news,
and they're like,
radio person has been fined $1 million.
And I was like, well,
cats out of the bag.
I guess you can talk about it now.
Let me say this.
If I didn't say it earlier,
love you, FCC.
Got no beefs here.
But, I mean, I can't find way more than them.
I know.
Why, though?
I think I should get a refund.
Right.
Like a rebate, excuse me.
Challenge it.
Yeah.
No, no, no.
Why would I challenge the greatness of the FCC,
whom I love.
Good people.
I also was reading the story
about Dancing with the Stars.
They announce it on Wednesday,
who will be the cast of this coming season.
And so I am not confirming or denying any of these people,
but this is from Just Jared,
and this is who they say is going to be on the show.
The next Dancing with the Stars cast will be revealed Wednesday.
Here's the alleged contestants list.
And this is quoting from here out.
Beyonce's mom, Tina Knowles.
Interesting.
Hannah Brown, the Bachelorette.
Good.
Okay.
Karamo Brown from Queer Eye.
Is they say his name?
Karamo Karamo Karammo.
Haley Steinfeld, Rob Grinkowski,
and his girlfriend, Camille Kostek.
Gronk.
Mm-hmm.
Okay, Amy.
Dance Mom star Abby Lee Miller.
Oh, wow.
UCLA gymnast and viral sensation.
Caitlin O'Hashi.
She got the perfect tin.
Remember, ever see her on the internet?
No, all right.
Robert Irwin, son of the crocodile hunter.
And then they wrote,
and an undisclosed friend of Bobby Bones.
That's what they put?
Interesting.
Wow.
Interesting.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
For sure.
For sure.
A friend's on there.
I've said that.
Because I haven't talked about them.
I know, but that's weird.
It says undisclosed friend.
I'm surprised I don't know who it is.
Right.
How do they not know?
Because Bobby's good at holding secrets.
I'm the best keeping secrets.
Thank you.
What I just said there is I'm the best of keeping secrets.
Tell me all your secrets.
No, I figured it out.
Thank you.
But yeah, Wednesday.
the big announcement is.
So there you go.
This South Dakota woman thought she had kidney stones
but instead gave birth the triplets.
That's crazy.
So crazy.
Not even the physical part of it.
Just the mental part.
You're going in, man, I've got to pass kidney stones.
Then you have three babies.
Right.
Like aside from your body,
you're not recognizing the babies are coming out of your body
and that's a crazy part of it too.
Like that's a change that just, oh, wow,
but something else is happening in my body.
But the fact now you've got to go home with babies.
Forever.
Yeah. I know. I'm looking her up because I need to see her.
Danette Glitz from Sturgis in South Dakota had no idea she was pregnant.
Did not feel any movement, did not experience any morning sickness.
The new mother had the shock of her life after she was rushed to the hospital for what she thought was kidney stones.
And then she gave birth to triplets. She said, I started getting pains in my back and in my side.
It felt like kidney stones. I kept pushing. I was in so much pain. All I could do is lay in my bed and cry.
It hurt to even breathe. Danette thought she needed urgent surgery. So she goes and
in, doctor's like, uh, you're 34 weeks pregnant.
Initially, again, you want to hear about another twist?
Yeah.
Doctor's like, you're pregnant.
She's like, what?
He goes, this is going to be twins.
She goes, what?
He goes, just kidding.
It's triplets.
What?
Like, okay, we have a friend right now that's about 30-ish weeks pregnant.
And she's, there's no way you would not know she's pregnant.
Like her stomach is, and she's, maybe because she's smaller, but her stomach is like,
huge.
Yeah.
Like how, how do you not know?
Well, so she's also had kids before.
So it's not even like she's totally oblivious to what pregnancy is.
Right.
She has two girls and a boy.
Wait, hold on.
Hold on.
Wait, wait, wait.
Or is that what she did?
Maybe that's who she had.
Did she have kids before?
She already have kids.
Never mind.
Disregard that last part of the story.
Scratch all that out.
Scratch, scratch.
Back it up.
Rewind.
So did she still have kidney stones, though?
I don't think so, Eddie.
No, Eddie, that's what she thought.
That she had.
Those three kidneys were four pounds each.
Got it.
Big stones.
And they've set up a fundraising page.
Yeah, 12 pounds in her body.
Right.
Fundraising, you don't think about that.
But, you know, when you're having three kids, like, overnight, you don't need money for that.
Like, even if you got a little money, you don't got a little money for that because you're not expecting to budget that.
Correct.
I would compare that if I were doing an analogy to, like, 60 tires blowing out all of a sudden.
You can't get to work with bad tires.
You've got to buy new tires, but a lot of them.
You got money to buy 60 tires.
Yeah.
Maybe one.
And even then, that's going to set you back for a while.
There you go.
Thought that story.
That story was so good that every single person on the show sent it to me.
Really?
Yeah, rarely does that happen.
Yeah, but I hadn't looked up much.
Yeah.
Now I'm looking at her and I'm like, how would you not know?
How?
How?
How?
Oh, you think you could tell?
I just feel like she would know.
But you're looking at her?
Yeah.
But you can tell.
I'm looking at her in her eyes right now.
And I'm asking how?
Yeah, with her body, it's not, I don't know.
But, you know, I do.
She said she looked pregnant?
No.
No, I'm saying like she doesn't have like I would feel, okay, here's what I'm thinking in my head and I don't want to come across the wrong way. But like if you're, if you have a lot of excess weight, then maybe you wouldn't be able to tell. But she doesn't seem really like she has a lot of excess weight. So I'm like, how would you not know that all of a sudden you got three babies in there? But I do have a friend, you know, that I went to college with and she has smaller figure, but she had her uterus was set really far back.
So she didn't know she was pregnant and she went to the bathroom and gave birth.
I got a text to that woman had two kids at home.
So apparently she did have a couple kids.
Oh, okay.
So, well, whatever.
Whatever.
Either way.
That's a nutty story.
So go back and take away when I said I was wrong.
Now I'm right again.
Stephanie and Texas is on the phone.
Stephanie, how are you?
I hope you having a good day today.
Stephanie?
I'm doing well.
How are you?
Pretty good.
What do you want to say?
Well, I texted into the show and was saying that my husband and I went to the show in El Paso
on Saturday night
and that we love the show
but that
you know we
almost got divorced
because of you guys
why what happened
so after the show
you guys
we were waiting
for the
to meet you guys afterwards
but I guess you guys
had to get out of there
pretty quickly so everybody was kind of gathering
by the backstage door
to just wave you guys goodbye
and when you guys came
out and you guys were you started talking to people and taking pictures with people I realized I was like
oh this might be a chance because I really wanted to get my book signed and as I reached into my
purse and started getting out my pen I look up and my husband is absolutely nowhere to be found
and I look up and I realized he's over talking to Eddie and he had like managed to wiggle his way
through the crowd and was talking to him and by the time I was able to
get there, he was, you guys were already, like, had moved past that area. And so I was like,
what the heck, you left me behind. And he was like, well, I never leave someone behind. Yeah,
never leave, never leave someone behind. Especially because I'm the big fan of the show. My husband,
he loosely listens to you guys, like when I show him a segment that I like. But I've been
listening since I was 16 every single day. And I'm the one who bought the tickets with my
discretionary money. She mad. Well, did we finally meet you? No. We stay for like an hour and a half.
We stayed at every single. Oh, really? Yeah, we stayed the whole time. We stayed and met every... I didn't know
you guys had done that. There were like 400 people behind the theater and we stayed at every single person
took picture. Yeah, before we left, we said we get everyone. Everyone good? Okay, we're living now.
Yeah, we got everybody. Man. I know. Well, then we left prematurely.
I've got, here we go, go ahead, Benz.
Been there.
Hey, thank you, Stephanie.
We did get in a little bit.
I was finally told for the first time that I got to stop staying out
because the crowds get too big and it's a safety hazard.
Oh.
If there's like four or five hundred people just like standing out there pushing around
because they're like pushing over barricades, it's nutty.
And security was like, you can't do this anymore.
Like come out and just like, because our thing's always been.
Let's just meet everybody all the time.
Every show.
We'll meet everybody, anybody that wants to hang around.
But people love the show.
And for the first time, they were told you can't do this much anymore.
I'm grateful that people care and the crowds are getting bigger.
But people were like pushing each other over barricades.
It was like I was the bad, ugly beetles.
But it was fantastic.
So shout out to everybody in El Paso.

I'm like a child.
I'm over here talking about Instagram stalemates.
Yeah.
Like there are certain people.
I'm like, oh, they don't follow me.
I'm going to follow them.
And so we just never follow each other.
And we're like great friends.
and they're probably like,
hey, don't follow me, I don't follow him.
I'm like seven.
It's a weird thing, but you're not alone.
Oh, I'm not?
Nah.
Do you ever do that?
Uh-uh.
Amy, stop it.
Guys, I don't.
Y'all were just talking about it
and I didn't even join.
I was like, what?
Y'all don't follow each other?
Eddie and I follow each other.
Not y'all.
No, he's talking about someone
that they don't follow you
and you're like,
why don't they follow me?
I know, exactly.
I'd like to follow them,
but I'm like, whether they don't follow me.
I'm following them.
Like, just follow them.
Nah.
Unless they follow me.
They follow me, then I'll follow them back.
Boom.
Wow.
But if they're thinking the same thing, we'll never have it in.
This cycle will never be broken.
And then you start thinking, are we really friends then?
Then I'm like, they don't even like me in real life, do they?
I don't follow many people on Instagram, but I'm like, I'll follow this person, but they don't follow me.
Morgan number two, we're coming over to you for the show Skinny.
Hit us up.
Bobby Bone Show.
The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Morgan Number Two's 30 Second Skinny.
Bobby Bones had a fan show the actor who placed Stanley on the show.
office pictures of Bobby's dog named after Stanley.
Yeah, so she goes up to the guy, Stanley, who is the guy that plays him on the, is like,
hey, check out Bobby's dog.
You named him after you.
And I was thinking about this.
Would he, if you were him, would you be offended?
No.
I thought about that too.
Because a bulldog is kind of a chubby dog.
Oh, but you have the cutest dog ever.
Well, okay.
I named him after Stanley from the office.
And she goes up to Stanley from the office.
Like, hey, check it out, Boboons.
We've got a dog named after you.
and shows him.
And I was like, I wonder if this guy was like, get that of my face.
Oh, wow.
I don't know.
But it's on my Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones, if you want to see Stanley from the office in a picture going.
He's smiling too, which is weird because Stanley doesn't smile on the office.
What else Morgan number two?
Amy spent the weekend shopping and getting ready to go to Haiti.
Her daughter, Stasheera, helped her by picking out things to surprise the kids with at the orphanage.
And she told Amy to get a pinata and water balloons.
That's what they want.
Well, I mean, now that she's come here and played with them,
She knows they have done water balloons before, but she's like, they've never done anything like a pinata.
You need to get one.
And so I'm like, well, so can I stick a pinata in my luggage?
Oh, true.
Or can I hopefully find one at like the Haitian Walmart, you know, and the fancy?
You don't have to buy a ticket for that pinata for the plane.
Right.
It's a full-sized pinata, dude.
You've got to have a seat for that thing.
Well, I'm hoping.
Hoping I can find one there and then fill it with candy, but she thinks they'd have fun blindfolded and swinging it because she had never done that until she got to America.
All right.
Give me lunchbox and Eddie.
Lunchbox went to Texas for his cousin's wedding.
And Eddie played shows with the raging idiots this weekend and brought back
Waterburger to his family.
And now his family wants to bring food back from every city that Eddie travels to.
That doesn't sound healthy for multiple reasons.
You can't bring fast food back on an airplane.
They're expecting it now, I guess.
All right, there you go.
Thank you very much.
We'll do tell me something good coming up in a second.
What we have is this guy's flying a plane, a bunch of passengers.
He's like, well, I guess I need to land here to say,
save him and he does. I'll tell you that story on the way next. Amy's on in North Carolina. Let's
talk to Amy in North Carolina. What's up, Amy? Hey, I have a question for you guys. All right.
I was wondering what y'all would do if you didn't work in radio or in entertainment.
Okay. I mean, I, since I was 17 have been doing this. Yeah, everybody else on the show's had other
jobs, so I guess they're just pretty easy. But for me,
I mean, I would just be doing one of the other things that I do now.
Entertainment or just ready?
Because I mean...
She said no entertainment.
You got to think about this one, Bones.
No entertainment.
No entertainment.
I can't write books or be a comedian.
No, that's entertaining.
Entertainment.
It depends who you talk to.
Sometimes I would say not very entertaining at all.
I'm trying to actually picture what you would be doing.
What about like...
Could I do like PR?
Like do camp, like create.
Yeah.
Like...
Sure.
You'd be a madman.
Madman.
Yeah, I could do that.
Add agency.
I'd do something creative.
What about like a fixer?
You know, like those guys that just go in a crisis situation and fix things.
Olivia Pope, you'd be like scandal.
Or I'd be a politician.
Okay, well, it's kind of entertainment.
Now I'm kidding.
Yeah, right.
Yeah, I would go with that.
I would go with my first answer of I would create ad campaigns.
Boom.
That's what I would do.
So you wouldn't run for like mayor first or city council or anything?
I'm only doing that now because I've been able to see how rich people are not good people don't grow up of money.
Okay.
Amy?
I guess at this point now, I mean, I did sales before I did radio, and I loved that, like,
the wholesale end, because I loved, like, taking care of people and having customers and
stuff. I was good at relationships. So, but, I mean, now that I'm a mom and I have two kids
at home, if I wasn't doing this, I'd be a mom to them. And then, because they're both from Haiti,
like, I would continue, like, our work in Haiti that we do there and be able to freely travel
back and forth and work with groups down there and help and be with my kids.
But if you weren't doing this, would you've ever went down there? Would you have met the same
people and
I hope so.
I didn't go to Haiti because of this.
No, I know you didn't go because of this, but was it.
Well, I was going to have kids either way.
Listen, I told you from day one, once I got pregnant and started having kids, I just
never got pregnant.
Like, I was always going to leave the show, if you remember.
Yeah, still might.
By the way, American Idol is hunting for the next superstar traveling to 22 cities
this summer.
If you can't make it to an audition, you can submit it online at American Idol.com.
But just soon coming up, Mobile, Alabama, making Georgia, Tallahassee, Florida, Vegas,
on August 26th, Wichita's
number 4th, Nashville, it's number 18th,
but go and audition
and if you're good, go be on American Idol.
I think that would be cool.
Hey, appreciate that call, Amy.
Why don't we go over and talk to
Christy in Texas?
Hey, Christy, how are you?
Hello?
What's happening?
I just wanted to tell you
we went to your Amarillo show
and my husband's the one
that went up on stage.
I wanted to tell you,
thank you for a fair to you guys.
Oh, you're welcome.
Well, I didn't embarrass him on purpose.
You probably, you know, I probably did something.
You know?
I'll bring people up on stage sometimes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, thanks, Christy.
Appreciate that.
Hey, if you guys want to be part of the show, 877-77, Bobby, call in, be a part of it.
I do have a story coming up in a minute.
A Delta flight, and they're sitting there, and there's a brawl on the flight as they're on the tarmac.
Oh, my gosh.
I mean, fun for a second.
But then you got to get out of the plane and hang out for a couple hours because they've got to get a new plane or a new crew.
That's a little.
I'll give you that story coming up in just a minute.
Again, you can head over to our Facebook page and watch the show live.
We're up right now, Facebook.com slash Bobby Bone Show.
We've got a bunch of cameras in here.
You can watch and see what we look like after doing the show if you want.
Listen, ain't nothing.
Yeah, we ain't pretty.
Yeah, you ain't getting a lot out of it.
You can go over there and check it out if you want.
All right, thank you guys.
It's time for the good news.
Tell me something good.
There's a flight.
Now, it's in Russia, and it was taken off.
And it had a collision with a large flock.
of birds that flew out in front of the plane.
That's happened here in America too.
Yeah, that's like, Captain Sully.
But the 41-year-old captain was piloting the plane.
He made an emergency landing in a cornfield less than a mile away from the airport.
He landed the plane with no power in either engine and without landing gear.
Wow.
So no wheels came out either.
The estimated 226 passengers and seven crew used emergency inflatable slides.
That would be so fun.
Yeah, that would be fine.
There's a jump down the slide.
And they get into corn stalks, and you run around to do a cornstalk maze.
Maybe there's a maze in there.
So fun.
All seriousness, he did a great job.
He saved all their lives.
23 of the passengers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
But everybody's okay.
He worked quick, active quick, save lives.
And that's a good story.
I wanted to share it because that's what's all about right there.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bowles.
I watched a couple episodes of Mind Hunter yesterday.
The new season is back on Netflix.
And it's basically a true story of these two guys that started studying cereal.
killers when they weren't really a thing.
And it's good.
I watched two or three episodes of season two.
It makes me feel weird, though.
Because the show shot dark.
They're talking to killers.
Yeah, I mean, the topic's dark.
But it's such a good show.
Morgan, number two, did you watch it?
Yeah, I got through like two and a half episodes, and it got dark outside.
I was like, I can't watch this anymore right now.
They were doing the BTK killer this season.
This reminds me of Wichita.
Yeah.
That dude ran more.
wild for 30 years, right?
Yeah, I called my mom and I was like, I can't watch this.
This reminds me of like home and like really bad things.
So this is scary.
Were you, I guess they caught him in like 2004 or five, right?
I was really young when it all happened, but I still knew about it.
I mean, we knew about it in school and we had to be aware of it.
And like 30 years, right?
Yeah.
Like for 30 years he was doing that.
Yeah.
And he ended up being a game warden or a park, like a park ranger?
Do you remember what is John?
This isn't in the show.
I haven't got there yet, but I just remember when it happened.
He was just a dude.
Like, just driving around.
And because he was able to go places with his job.
Electronics technician?
For like the city or something?
I don't know.
I just Googled BTK killer job.
Killer.
Dennis.
Oh, yeah, that's crazy.
Yeah, he was apprehended in 2005.
Ran, yeah, for like 30 years.
Yep.
Yep.
So this show is real?
Yeah.
And they show, did you send me that article, Morgan, number two,
where they show the people next to the who they're playing them?
Yeah, like the actor and the real life person.
Okay, so it's like Narcos.
Yeah.
Okay, like it's a, it was fact, but they have people playing those characters.
Yes.
Okay.
In the first season, one of the different serial killers,
and this one, that's happening, but it's also,
it's really about the BTK killer, too.
Dennis Radar was born in 1945.
He was in the Air Force.
He worked in the meat department.
supermarket.
That was up on discharge.
Can you just get me his job?
What he was doing when they found him?
I just remember driving around some truck.
Like it was like a game warden or something.
Again, I don't know.
That's not in the show.
But I watched that yesterday.
I just haven't jumped into big little lies again.
I got halfway through the season.
I'm just not feeling it.
Really?
Yeah.
Oh, wow.
That's crazy to me.
Just a lot of dialogue.
Well, I mean.
You want action?
Yeah.
You're one of us girls.
Shoot them up.
Right now.
I'm going to shoot them up.
More of a shoot them up, spirit.
it. Here's the story. Imagine you're on an airplane, you're hanging out, and there's a fight,
like a literal fight on your airplane. Now, it was a JFK flight in New York from Miami. It was delayed
so long that people got frustrated and there was a brawl on the flight. Delta Flight 2385
set on the tarmac for nearly eight hours. Oh my gosh. Which, by the way, maybe I'm going to
fight somebody too if it's that long. It's out of control. You can't let them out of the airplane.
Again, it used to be no, but I've been let out of airplanes before. They go, hey, we're going to
beer a long time. Let's get off the plane. We'll check
everybody's name. Going back into the airport,
we'll let you know. Eight
hours, just sitting there.
Got out of control.
People were fighting each other. It got both verbal
and physical.
The plane's captain had no idea where the crew
was. What? The plane
was scheduled to take off at 352 p.m.
But because of weather, it didn't
take off to run 11 p.m.
Can you imagine that?
Oh, so it was a weather thing keeping them there
and then it caused the fight. It wasn't the fight keeping them there.
He was the animal control officer.
Morgan number two just texted me.
Oh.
Thank you.
Thanks for texting me across the room.
I got you.
Animal control.
That means he was in a truck.
Yeah.
You were right?
I knew it was like a park, like some kind of nature thing.
But yeah, and then there was a fight on that flight.
The Get Real podcast is good this week with Caroline Hobby.
She talks to, I believe you said the girl's name is Terran Feldman.
She talks about the difference in working with celebs in L.A. and Nashville because she is a makeup artist and hairstylist for celebrities.
And she's like, hey, what's the difference?
Because you do both celebrities in L.A. and in Nashville.
It said that people in country music are much nicer.
That they're so much sweeter than some other people.
People are really kind in country music.
They're kind.
Pretty loyal, down to earth.
A little passive, aggressive, but that's okay.
I think that's just like a southern thing.
You know, like a bless her heart kind of thing.
But that's okay.
They asked her who her favorite celebrity is to work on.
and she said Julie Bowen, who's Claire Dumfie on Modern Family, here's that.
I worked with Julie Bowen.
I love her from Modern Family.
Yeah, I mean, I just can't even handle it.
What was she like?
She was just, she was like fabulous.
And that day, she was doing a movie with Melissa McCarthy, who I'm also a very big fan of.
And she was really cool.
Oh, you met Melissa too?
Yes.
Can you imagine doing celebrities here having to sit there and not freak out the whole time?
Oh, yeah.
Or like doing anything up close with celebrities for hours at a time and act like, okay, all good here.
Not gonna geek out.
Check out the Get Real podcast with Caroline Hobby,
if you want to hear that.
I had a friend who was a physical therapist.
He did a lot of massage work,
but not a feel-good massage, like injuries, right?
And this one A-list,
I say this, she was on friends
and was always known for her hair.
Okay.
And he had to, they were like,
hey, we have somebody you need to work on last minute.
She got injured on a movie.
Can you work on her shoulder?
And he was like, yeah, sure, bring her in.
And it was her.
We'll call her renter for Randiston.
Still don't know what you're talking about.
And he was like, what am I?
This is crazy.
Jennifer Francis and you're out and massage her and not act like that's not the craziest thing in the whole world.
Can you imagine?
Yeah.
Amy, tell our listeners a little something about your daughter.
Well, she's obsessed with friends right now.
So that is something that is big and lots of things are coming.
from that show.
For example,
I was getting ready
to go to dinner
with my husband
and I just had on this
t-shirt dress thing.
Nothing crazy.
And I walk in,
she goes,
where are you going
looking all sexy?
Oh, gosh.
Your daughter's 12.
She's been here for about a year.
Never ever out of her mouth
have I ever heard the words
sexy.
I've never heard
S-E-X-E-anything.
And so I just paused
and said,
what?
where did you hear that word? And she nonchalately casually just looked to me and she goes,
friends. Duh. And so, yeah, I know we've, we've, we've, it, friends has caused us to talk about
things, which I have appreciated. That's why I've, she's 12 now. I love that we can watch friends
together. It makes her laugh. I feel like some of the stuff is over her head. But the fact that
she knew kind of what sexy, which first of all, my dress wasn't even that sexy, but she just,
She wanted to use that.
And she, I don't know.
It was weird to me.
And I was like, well, we're going to have to start maybe pumping the breaks on some friends.
Or if you ever have questions, you let me know.
So you're going to penalize her from friends?
No.
We might just pump the brakes on how much.
And like, there are certain episodes when I'm watching back, if I'm not with her, that I'm
thinking, oh, if she were to be watching this right now, this would be, oh, this might
be a little too adult for her.
It really might.
but I'm trying to be cool too.
And I like that it sparks conversation, but I just told her, I said, look, sexy.
She didn't even really know what it meant, but she knew, I guess Rachel or Monica,
or somebody must have said somebody's dress looked sexy because then she knew how to use it.
So then I said, I don't want you to walk around or tell anybody else outside of our house that they look sexy.
Except Bobby.
Always tell him.
I just picture of being at school and thinking that maybe sexy means pretty shirt or something.
and her telling her teacher she looks sexy.
If you have any kids and they're like,
hey, you can't believe you said this.
Call us.
No bad words, though.
You can't have like a two-year-old drop in the F-bomb.
That's funny.
But let's not talk about that on the radio.
But if your kids say anything funny,
and you're like, whoa, where did that come from?
Call us.
877-77 Bobby.
877-Bobby.
And I think for a lot of 12-year-olds,
maybe that's where they're starting using school,
but your daughter was at an orphanage in Haiti two years ago.
And it's just been a lot.
Right.
The only word she's learned right now are in her homework and sexy's not on there.
That's not.
The Bobby Bone Show.
Amy's daughter watches friends and she goes, hey, mom, you're sexy.
She's never used that word before.
No.
No.
So Jenna in Oklahoma, you're on the show.
What's up, Jenna?
Hi, how are you guys?
Real good.
Tell me what's up.
Well, my son, I'm a pharmacist first.
So my son went to school one day and they were talking about what their parents do.
and my son told his teacher that his mom was a drug dealer.
Oh.
Yeah, yeah.
He tried to say a legal drug dealer, but it sounded like illegal.
So it ended up, the teacher said, your son said you're an illegal drug dealer today in class.
And how old your son?
He was five at the time.
He's 19.
Oh, wow, he's got a problem.
He doesn't understand.
Oh, that's funny.
Oh, yeah.
Well, thank you, Jenna.
Thanks for sharing that.
They didn't call you in trouble, though, right?
Like, we needed to investigate you?
No.
Okay.
They knew.
No, they thought it was so funny.
They knew I had just, you know, graduated and he was just kind of the school kind of, it's kind of excited for me almost.
Like, my mom graduated.
Now she's a drug dealer.
Did he hear you say that, though, jokingly, like around the house, like you're a drug dealer and just kind of used it?
Yeah, I think so.
I'd had him at the pharmacy a couple times.
And so, you know, you always get those comments.
Like, I'm here to see my drug dealer.
Just for the older people.
I was like, oh my gosh.
That's funny.
Thank you for the call.
Thank you.
All right.
See you later.
Anthony and West Virginia is on the show.
Anthony, what's happening, bud?
Oh, how much enjoying the weather?
Well, I was getting a suit and tie on her in my room and I got walked out.
And my little old daughter looked at me and said, damn, Daddy, you're the most handsome man I've ever seen.
Thank you, Daddy.
How old is your daughter?
She's five.
And what does she say again?
Do it like her?
Huh?
Do it like her.
What's you say to you?
Well, she said,
damn day,
you're the most handsomest man I've ever seen.
But what's you telling the truth?
Were you looking pretty good?
Be honest.
Oh,
I was looking really good.
I had clean hair cut,
nice state phase.
So she was right.
Well, so who do you think she learned that from?
I think she learned it from a couple of high schoolers
because where they rode our bus.
Oh.
She's five.
Yeah.
High schoolers still ride the bus, huh?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's 16, 17?
Yeah?
I wrote it until about 16.
Oh, I didn't.
I walked or rode the bike.
Really?
Yeah, I got a car.
Hey, thanks for that calling.
I think I'm saying.
I appreciate that, bud.
Thank you.
All right, see you later.
Let's do one more.
How about we do artists in Florida?
Hey, artists.
Hey, Bobby, how you doing this?
Pretty good.
Tell me about your kids.
Yeah, we bought home to bunnies for them,
and she, one day she called me screaming from the house.
She's like, they're biting each other.
They're hurting when I come home.
thinking something was wrong and I quickly realized
what they were doing. They weren't fighting, but
they were mating. I didn't know we had a boy and a girl.
Okay. And I explained to her
and she goes, so do you do that to
Mommy? Oh boy. Yikes.
And what did you
say back?
I said, of course
not. No, we don't do that.
So you lie to her.
Oh, no.
Exactly. Exactly.
Artists, appreciate that call.
Thank you.
Yeah, man. Have a good.
All right. See you.
Well,
What do we learn from this, Amy?
Kids will repeat anything that they hear.
Yeah, that's right.
It's true.
Does your son do that?
Yeah.
He picks up more mannerisms and certain things that are cute.
But he hasn't picked up anything like bad.
I just got a text from someone saying we were talking about that BTK killer earlier said that that guy was their Boy Scout leader.
Whoa.
Do you put them on?
Yeah.
Yes.
Yes.
I don't want to sound so excited about it because it's also poor.
horrible.
You see Ashton Coochard's girlfriend?
He had to go to court because she was killed.
What?
Murdered?
What girlfriend?
Back in the day.
Oh.
Did you see that story?
No.
Not to go, I was watching that Mind Hunter show some of my head's there right now in this space.
And those crime podcasts, dude, they're such big shows.
They are.
People love that stuff.
Ashton Coucher won, like, he was a suspect for a second, like just a split second because he found her.
Really?
He found her dead.
I'll bring that story up.
I don't think it's too dark.
I mean, it's pretty dark.
Well, it's Ashton Coucher, though.
You know, I was on Facebook.
I never go to our Facebook page.
And yesterday I went over to the Facebook page.
I was laughing my butt off because I go over.
And I look, and Morgan No. 2 posted a story about Chrissy Teigen.
And she, I think she had put Botox in her armpits and saw sweating.
And that was the story.
And a listener goes, this is not news?
Why are you putting this on the Facebook page?
And Morgan No. 2 hits her back and goes, why are you on our Facebook if you're looking for news?
We're an entertainment show.
Go find your local news station if you want news.
Boom.
And that's what you do with all the time, huh?
We're not the news.
Yeah, if people are coming to us for the news, big mistake.
Even then, don't write a complaint about it.
Just don't look at it.
Just get off of it.
And I think it's pretty fascinating that Chrissy Teigen got Botogs under her arms.
I was on Facebook for eight seconds and saw that.
I was on Facebook for eight seconds.
That's why don't get on Facebook.
Because people are dumb.
I don't even get to complaining culture.
Why are we complaining?
Just move away.
Nobody was hurt at all.
In the posting of that article, nobody was hurt.
You don't like it?
Move away.
You don't like the TV?
Change the channel.
You don't like somebody's Instagram feed?
Flip to the next one or unfollow them.
That's why I don't go over to...
That's why I don't go over to Facebook.
Thank you.
We'll talk about...
We'll see if we can get this guy on to...
His Boy Scout leader ended up being a serial killer.
I don't know if he's around, but we'll try to call him up.
All right, back in a second.
It's the Bobby Bones Show.
I'm watching the show called Mind Hunter on Netflix and season two just came out.
Oh, we lost the guy.
He must have just dropped off.
Oh, we had them too.
Oh.
We had the guy who said that the BTK killer was his Boy Scout leader, which is crazy.
And that's the thing about these serial killers, though.
They live a whole other life.
Like, I'm sure he was safe to be around the Boy Scouts, but he would drive around doing his job.
He drove around for the city.
And from like 1970,
something until the 90s was killing people and they never caught him until 2004 or 2005.
And so, yeah, we had a guy who said that that was his, his Boy Scout leader.
We'll try to get him back on.
If we do, fine, if we don't.
But we can try to get them back on one more time.
Yeah, they're trying.
Okay.
Like, those people live among us.
Like, they're...
All of the serial killers do.
They're all just people that...
That mean, that's how they get to continue being serial killers.
Because they figured out how to somewhat be in society.
Ted Bundy?
Right.
That guy was living in life, a normal life.
Like, they're all, they're great at being among us.
All right, he's back on.
Oh, wow.
Larry in Kansas.
Hey, Larry.
Hey, Bobby, how you doing?
Hey, so the BTK killer was your Boy Scout leader?
Yes, he was.
Would you call him?
Dennis.
And when that happened, when they busted him in 2004 or five, where do you like, oh, my goodness.
Yeah, I was.
It put me down and made me sit down for him.
So how do they tell you? I'm assuming you were a kid whenever they told you this?
Actually, I was in, I was working at a working, I was in my 30s when I found out.
Okay, so he was yours way back in the day and then they bust him. Way back in the 90s.
Wow, when he was still doing it too. Yeah. What kind of Boy Scout leader was he? What kind of guy was he as just a guy?
He was pretty nice. I mean, you could talk to him easily and, but he didn't.
like to teach you how to build knots and stuff.
Oh, knots.
He taught you how to build knots.
That's what he did.
Ah.
Wow.
That's Erie.
Yeah.
So who comes to you and tells you,
hey, Larry, your Boy Scout leader was a killer,
or would you say it on the news?
I found it out on the news.
Did you have a close relationship with them?
No, not really.
I mean, he was kind of standoff by himself kind of person.
Did you ever go, oh, that kind of makes sense now?
Like thinking back?
Not really.
It didn't, not much, but it kind of a little, a little bit of signs.
Because, like, at campouts, he would disappear for a little bit and we wouldn't see him.
And you think he was, what, leaving to go and do?
Actually, one of the deals happened at one of the campouts I was at.
What?
Yeah.
He wouldn't have killed someone while he was at a camp out with you?
Right.
That time frame, yeah.
Whoa.
Oh, my goodness.
Do you watch the show Mind Hunter?
Yeah, I do.
I haven't got it this season yet.
I only started on season one.
Do you ever write him a letter in jail or anything?
No, no, I haven't.
And what did your parents think about that?
Well, actually, my dad went to school with him, so he knew him too, and he was our compliance officer in Park City.
Crazy, huh?
I'm shocked.
Is he in jail right now in Park City?
No, he's in El Dorado.
Okay.
Yeah, I know El Dorado.
Okay, wow.
That's nutty, huh?
He's a Boy Scout leader.
That's so crazy.
He ends up being one of the biggest serial killers of all time.
Yeah.
Oh, Larry, I appreciate you sharing that story, bud.
Hey, not a problem.
Thank you.
See you later.
He was good at knots.
I know.
He was teaching the kids, same knots.
Oh, nuts.
Crazy.
Hey, speaking of that area, Eddie and I,
playing the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson.
A little lighter note. Yeah, in a couple of weeks.
So if anyone in, you know, the Wichita area, Hutchinson, Eldorado.
Shout out.
Oh, boy.
Yeah, Raging Idiots.com.
We're headlining the fair.
It's going to be awesome.
Me, Eddie, Nicole Galleon,
Emma Klein.
It'd be a really fun fair show.
Nuddy, huh?
Isn't that all that's so crazy?
Oh, man.
Do you want to hear the Ashton Coucher story?
Yes, yes.
Michael Gargweilo,
the alleged serial killer charged with the deaths of two women,
including Ashton Coucher's ex-girlfriend.
was found guilty in three knife attacks.
He had been called the Hollywood Ripper.
He was convicted of killing the two women.
And Ashton Kutcher had to go and testify
because apparently he said he made plans with her that night,
the night that she was killed.
The police believe he spoke with her not long before that she was attacked.
And then Kutcher was a suspect for a brief second
just because he was the one that found her.
Yeah, quick, quick second.
They're crazy.
That's crazy.
Hoof.
Oh, yeah.
You see, Jerry Seinfeld is no longer the world's highest-paid comedian.
Not that that is the real story.
It's just how much money these guys make.
For like 14, 13 of the last 14 years, he had been the highest-paid comedian.
But he's at number two, making $41 million last year.
Number one's Kevin Hart, who made $59 million.
Oh, wow.
Isn't that crazy?
Those guys just making so much money.
You want the top five, number five.
Sebastian Manascalco.
Yeah.
I see his thing on Netflix pop up.
It's really good, actually.
His show?
Uh-huh.
I saw it.
26 million.
Trevor Noah, 28 million.
Jim Gaffigan, 30 million.
Jerry Seinfeld, 41 million.
Kevin Hart, 59 million.
So, anyway, they make a lot of money.
Yeah.
Being funny, pays.
So I hear.
You didn't make that list, ones?
Mm-hmm.
Did you just turn your mic off and yell, not yet?
Not yet.
Sorry, my thumb hit the button.
Speaking of comedy, I thought someone was heckling me from the bag.
I turned her mic on.
Who's yelling?
The crowd.
That was me.
Speaking of comedy, Eddie and I
Our Raging Idiot's Comedy Show will be
in Birmingham on 23rd.
Tickets go on sale this Friday.
We're having to add shows
because we can't believe people
are coming like they are
and the show is actually really funny.
I did put up a little clip.
Wrote a song about, I don't know,
30 minutes before I went on stage
this past week and I went out.
This is a little goofy song.
And I rarely put stuff on my Instagram,
but I put a song up
that we played at the live show
on my Instagram if you want to see it.
It's Mr. Bobby Bones.
They recorded it from the crowd.
Put it up.
I don't mind.
I'm like, Luke.
I'm like Blue Combs and Kane Brown.
I just put up stuff.
Nice.
You know.
That's her material out there.
So, yeah, it's up there.
But tickets on South Friday if you want to come to Birmingham.
That was kind of the show we did because we wanted people.
We can't do a show in Nashville because the million-dollar show is too close next year.
And so we're doing on at Birmingham because it's not that far of a drive.
People want to come from Nashville.
Birmingham can come.
Tuscaloos could come.
So kind of hitting all those spots.
Anyway, tickets on some Friday.
We're out.
Amy, what's going on today?
I got to find a chiropractor today.
I'm hurting.
I don't know what I did.
I mean, normally my back just hurts.
I just live with it.
It's fine.
But then I know when it's next level and I need to get it fixed again.
But I think my chiropractor is like not working today.
So I'm just going to find a random one.
Oh, that's good.
Just find out like a kiosk.
Yeah.
Listen, I'll take it.
Yeah, yeah.
I'll take it.
Yeah.
It's just your spine work by somebody you've never laid eyes on ever in the history.
It's just your spine.
Yeah.
Or maybe one of y'all can pop it.
I don't know.
Maybe better than going to a kiosk.
What about you?
I have a pup date video.
at 2 o'clock.
So I'm going up.
There's a website
called country now.com
and I'm going to shoot a video
with my dog.
They asked me to come shoot that.
So I have that today.
Dusty Slay, the comedian
has come by the house
through a bobby cast.
He also didn't make the list
of high-spaid comedians.
Maybe next year.
And then where's that?
Where's John Chris?
He's not there either,
but I did a bobbycast with him.
Yep.
I got a workout today.
I got to get a spray tank
because ACM honors are Wednesday night
and I'm pretty pale.
Yeah.
So got some recording.
You know, we go on a few days' vacation, so I've got a bunch of, like, extra work to do tonight.
So that's the deal.
Out.
Eddie, you good?
I'm great, man.
All right.
I'm going to need some rest today.
You got plenty of rest.
What have you done all morning?
All right.
We're going to go.
We'll see you guys tomorrow.
Appreciate you see you Tuesday on the Bobby Bone show.
Bye.
